2:05
[SPEAKER_05]: These are one that all he did was get naked and have women like one of the, you know, I mean, like, leave their men for him.

2:14
[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's great.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'll show that.
2:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
2:21

2:26
[SPEAKER_05]: But I like that.
2:29
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, there you go, friends.
2:30
[SPEAKER_05]: They're from Philly.
2:32
[SPEAKER_06]: Nobody expected that they're definitely from Motown, Philly.
2:35
[SPEAKER_05]: They're definitely saying every song And they were back again every weekend taking our lady.
2:41
[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I guess so well look you introduce everybody That's on your backdrop.
2:46
[SPEAKER_06]: So we'll make sure that we introduce everybody else here That's in the foreground.
2:49
[SPEAKER_06]: Of course the legendary Savak are Emmy and Jason producer in the house Michael Leva the heart and soul of dolphins talk
2:57
[SPEAKER_06]: Sun Sentinel columnist and host of the Dolphins deep dive with Perk podcast.
3:02
[SPEAKER_06]: He has Perk aka Chris Perkins and the man with the plan and the legal zone Chad Van Horn of Van Horn Law Group.
3:11
[SPEAKER_06]: Gentlemen, it's great to be back here with y'all again.
3:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no, no, no matter what anybody else says, bro, I appreciate you guys.
3:28
[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
3:29
[SPEAKER_06]: It's just what I needed.
3:30
[SPEAKER_06]: And look already in the chat, J. Finn, O. J.
3:33
[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you so much for all those first downs over my lifetime.
3:36
[SPEAKER_06]: How about that?
3:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, man, I appreciate it.
3:38
[SPEAKER_05]: And that was our more touchdowns for you, Jason.
3:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, Jay Finn, but you know what?
3:41
[SPEAKER_05]: It happens, man.
3:42
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, dad, dad didn't want to throw me to ball down in the red zone.
3:45
[SPEAKER_05]: We call it a green zone back then, but, you know what?
3:48
[SPEAKER_05]: It worked out anyways, man.
3:50
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I'm gonna say this, man, it called me a possession receiver, right?
3:54
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what?
3:55
[SPEAKER_05]: So I made sure we kept possessive football, man.
3:57
[SPEAKER_05]: I ain't at the school.
3:58
[SPEAKER_05]: I made sure that we converted, bro.
4:00
[SPEAKER_05]: That's what it's all about.
4:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, do some chat.
4:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up,
4:25
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh no, only one, and he's on the pod with us right now.
4:30
[SPEAKER_03]: How about that?
4:31
[SPEAKER_03]: And if you're, if you limited to the guys that did not have put returns that year, we got some big names.
4:38
[SPEAKER_03]: We got Jerry Rice, we got Marvin Harrison, we got Hall of Famer after Hall of Famer in our man, O.J.
4:44
[SPEAKER_03]: McDonald's.
4:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Boston being the Hall of Famer, man.
4:46
[SPEAKER_05]: There's my Seth, right enough for me, man.
4:49
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, let's get it in there.
4:50
[SPEAKER_06]: But do it, none of those guys bowl the perfect game.
4:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, you got 299 twice, even though to choke Joe.
5:01
[SPEAKER_05]: You got 2 to 99s?
5:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Mike, Mike, I'll bring that up, Mike.
5:06
[SPEAKER_05]: You brought it up, Mike, bring it up.
5:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but the way you emphasize it, Mike.
5:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Good job.
5:09
[SPEAKER_00]: That's almost three perfect games.
5:13
[SPEAKER_06]: It was quite a reaction, it was quite a reaction.
5:16
[SPEAKER_06]: So, Perk, I was, you know, just thumbing through the Sun Sentinel today, and you wrote a story about how it's time for the Miami Dolphins often, of course, mainly to lead the way, especially in the wake of the Devon H&E.
5:32
[SPEAKER_06]: The mysterious injury, we're not sure which knee he hurt, however,
5:38
[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, that's not what we're here to talk about.
5:39
[SPEAKER_06]: The Michael Jordan being reporters.
5:41
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, absolutely.
5:42
[SPEAKER_06]: They shake nail the shake shake definitely is.
5:45
[SPEAKER_06]: So talk to us about this.
5:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Why is it time for the offensive line to lead the way and what changed?
5:52
[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, the, the bond HM was the best individual player on the team arguably.
5:58
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, maybe A.R.
5:59
[SPEAKER_02]: and Brewer and Jordan Brooks could debate that, but HM carries the ball.
6:03
[SPEAKER_02]: He moves the chains.
6:04
[SPEAKER_02]: He's highly visible.
6:06
[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a unique skill set that this offense is going to miss.
6:09
[SPEAKER_02]: And offense by the way that hasn't scored more than one touchdown in a game so far this season.
6:15
[SPEAKER_02]: And offense.
6:16
[SPEAKER_02]: that loses its best rusher and probably its best receiver.
6:21
[SPEAKER_02]: So you need something to help this offense.
6:23
[SPEAKER_02]: The quarterback and then experience, you go to the offensive line, right?
6:27
[SPEAKER_02]: They return four or five starters.
6:29
[SPEAKER_02]: They've gotten all pro, two first round picks, two second round picks.
6:32
[SPEAKER_02]: This team still wants to have a run first mentality according to Jeff Hathley.
6:38
[SPEAKER_02]: So this goes to offensive line.
6:41
[SPEAKER_02]: You're talking about the rebuild, right?
6:45
[SPEAKER_02]: That's Patrick Paul that's Jonas of Inaia.
6:48
[SPEAKER_02]: You talk about being strong in the trenches.
6:50
[SPEAKER_02]: That's this offensive line.
6:52
[SPEAKER_02]: So look, a big part of beaten Minnesota this week and blitz happy Brian Flores is going to be having that offensive line prepared to handle those blitz is right.
7:04
[SPEAKER_02]: take some pressure off of Malik Willis.
7:06
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't, you also don't want to have a past protection unit that is that is that is leaky due to a lack of communication.
7:16
[SPEAKER_02]: I've talked to players today about playing inside of dome, right, Jews?
7:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
7:20
[SPEAKER_02]: But that communication has to be tight like right.
7:23
[SPEAKER_02]: So this offensive line has to tighten up its game in a lot of areas.
7:27
[SPEAKER_02]: They are the ones
7:32
[SPEAKER_02]: The best unit on the team is the linebackers, right, with Jordan Brooks and Jacob Rodriguez, but their impact on the game is not going to be a significant as the offensive line.
7:44
[SPEAKER_02]: So, this is what these guys are trying to do, it's what they were drafted to do, it's what they're going to be developed to do, they're part of the rebuilds, strengthen the trenches, let's see it offensive line, let's see it come to play.
7:57
[SPEAKER_06]: I agree with I'll go ahead juice now go ahead.
7:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
8:00
[SPEAKER_06]: I agree.
8:01
[SPEAKER_06]: I agree with Perk and and even when you start talking about the best group being the the linebackers.
8:08
[SPEAKER_06]: It's almost a little unfair because there's five offensive lime and right you're only as good as your weakest link.
8:12
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean the linebackers are dragging willy gays around.
8:15
[SPEAKER_06]: So like, you know, let's let's be honest.
8:18
[SPEAKER_06]: There's only three of us guys and two of them are balling.
8:21
[SPEAKER_06]: Willie Gay is, you know, he's hustling.
8:23
[SPEAKER_06]: And, and if you look at the offensive line, if you go from the center and hang a left, those are three guys that are playing really good ball and Jonah clearly has stepped up his game thus far this season.
8:35
[SPEAKER_06]: Austin Jackson.
8:37
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... you know i i i still need a lot of this week better get it they all absolutely he did and granted you know he had he didn't have you know max cross be yeah i'm sure or we're doing most of the correct though those were a couple of tough outs and so i got to give them that but he's the first round picked too so like you know
8:56
[SPEAKER_06]: like bring it, bring it, but I'm with you there, but go ahead, Juice.
9:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so what I was going to say is like, this is what the dolphins always need it, man.
9:04
[SPEAKER_05]: They need an offensive line in the defense in order to play an environment's like this.
9:10
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
9:11
[SPEAKER_05]: If you've got a solid offensive line, you've got a solid defense.
9:14
[SPEAKER_05]: You can go play anywhere in any weather.
9:16
[SPEAKER_05]: So if we got an offensive line, it can go in there and control rock, run the football, absent of HN, you know,
9:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, Lee, Washington, I don't, I mean, I saw Jayden right a little bit.
9:29
[SPEAKER_05]: David, right, going to be here for us, I think so.
9:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you.
9:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Practice, right?
9:33
[SPEAKER_05]: We have to fight.
9:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Might to leave a talk about earlier this week, Hunter.
9:36
[SPEAKER_05]: If we need to go with Hunter, right?
9:38
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, me, so I'm saying like, when you've got those situations, those are the best things you can have going into a loud ass environment.
9:46
[SPEAKER_05]: That that loud environment now.
9:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Here's the thing people going to be upset.
9:49
[SPEAKER_05]: We might have a fall start here and fall start there because it's going to be super loud It's for these filing count a lot of times and sometimes we might flinch a little bit that's okay As long as it's not all game long, man You got to figure that out, but we got an offensive line that can go in there and control a Brian Flores defense and then what they're doing on the front because they're gonna move around.
10:08
[SPEAKER_05]: They're gonna want us to flinch
10:10
[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to be a problem that way if they can hold their water, it's going to be just okay for us guys because I'm telling you, an office of mine is placed in a really good football right now.
10:19
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm excited about your progression.
10:22
[SPEAKER_05]: You don't have to be a great office, and you have to be a good office of mine that gets along and plays well together.
10:27
[SPEAKER_05]: I know what you're saying, like, you're in as good as your weakest link.
10:31
[SPEAKER_05]: But if your bond is strong right to your man, you'll be able to work together and be able to be productive as an office of footballer.
10:39
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to learn a lot about them to this week because the Vikings are going to bring pressure early enough and they blets it some insane right like 68% or some crazy number like that Right, yeah, we're going to bring we will learn a lot about this offensive line this week For sure just because of who are playing wherever playing them and the guy who's calling the plays have a little bit of a grudge against our logo
11:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Let me tell you a little bit about something real quick about the offensive line that I had in my column today when you talk about running the ball the dolphins have 64 runs this season 80% of them have gone to the left or to the middle and so yeah, and it makes a lot of sense right for the money is
11:27
[SPEAKER_02]: That's where the money is.
11:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's where the money is.
11:29
[SPEAKER_02]: So 45% of them have gone left in left tackle or left guard.
11:31
[SPEAKER_02]: And then 20% of them have gone middle left or middle right.
11:33
[SPEAKER_02]: This is according to to a pro football focus.
11:34
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right
11:50
[UNKNOWN]: I got to make the difference there.
11:51
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, they clearly like running to the left behind Caden Proctor and Patrick Paul.
11:58
[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see if that continues when Jalen Wright and Darkway of Hunter and Ali Gordon have to have the carry to rock.
12:06
[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm sure the Vikings are aware of that.
12:09
[SPEAKER_02]: If Pro football reference, no, that, now I'm sure the Vikings know it.
12:13
[SPEAKER_05]: He entertained it for me to say this too, man.
12:16
[SPEAKER_05]: I asked her out the receivers that felt the same way about Danny throwing the ball in the overtime.
12:20
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
12:22
[SPEAKER_05]: He kept throwing the juice, throwing the juice, man.
12:24
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, we definitely have to mix it up.
12:26
[SPEAKER_05]: And I didn't mind like a rendezvous and the more and those guys didn't get in targets, you know?
12:31
[SPEAKER_05]: But I wanted a majority of them.
12:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Let's talk to the target man, you know here's the thing about it.
12:39
[SPEAKER_05]: They even need to line up and stop it then I know they're going to try to stop us running that way if they can't stop it and keep going that way because you know Our analytics got to say too that we're more successful that way too.
12:51
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, and then it's Jonah and also our bits in the body, which they should be like, but they got to gain our trust that we can run their way all the time, or at least on occasion, or on a bigger percentage.
13:03
[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, we know when we trust, and we know what that left behind is been doing, and we see them all in people.
13:10
[SPEAKER_05]: So, the right side, dig it up!
13:12
[SPEAKER_05]: That's it.
13:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Pick it up.
13:14
[SPEAKER_05]: It's come, come, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it, go, go, do something to make us want to run that way, or, you know, a balance is out, balance has got to be keto too.
13:24
[SPEAKER_05]: Like you said, we got to make sure we have some balance there, man, because, you know, like you said, you know, you know, for us knows that we run left that amount of time.
13:32
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, what's he going to do is he going to stack that side.
13:35
[SPEAKER_05]: He's going to bring heat from that side.
13:37
[SPEAKER_05]: And if one thing I want to say to the Mike about what you're saying about for as bringing some heat or whatever you might do, it's not really on the offensive line.
13:47
[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to be on those young receivers.
13:49
[SPEAKER_05]: whether they can see that coming, the bliss break off, whatever their hot route is, whatever it might be, they're gonna test our young guys on whether they know what the hell to do when you've got three or four coming from your side and my hot and my clean, what do I do in those situations?
14:07
[SPEAKER_05]: That was the biggest thing for me as a wide receiver.
14:10
[SPEAKER_05]: knowing what our protection was, knowing where the bus you was coming from, even nowadays it's so hard to recognize who's the lineback anymore?
14:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Because the numbers are skewed.
14:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Back then, there were 50 numbers, you know?
14:21
[SPEAKER_05]: If you're 50 numbers, we're all linebackers.
14:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Anybody else is a, you know, anywhere from 20 to 40, something like that, those are all defensive backs.
14:30
[SPEAKER_05]: So you know if you're, you're high off a lineback, you know that, and you know when you're going to break off your blitz, you know if you do your blitz break off,
14:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Today it could be a 21 now you got no not just, you know, that is a linebacker.
14:43
[SPEAKER_05]: You got no it 21 is a linebacker back in date.
14:45
[SPEAKER_05]: That was a db right here.
14:47
[SPEAKER_05]: So
14:48
[SPEAKER_05]: The key is going to be for a young guy's a mixture of their own point when these guys are bringing these hot packages, these bliss packages at you because they're going to be all over the place.
14:57
[SPEAKER_05]: And you don't know if it's a lineback or a defense event, they're one of single-distant numbers nowadays, all these different things that these young guys have to recognize, wouldn't say it where it was in college.
15:07
[SPEAKER_05]: You know?
15:08
[SPEAKER_05]: the oldest is gonna come on for one, Malik, Malik will is, but these young guys, especially the guys in the slot.
15:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Now with Malik was in the slot, he'll be able to recognize, you know, hopefully, through film study, who's a lionbacker, who's, you know, who's a high, who my hot-off of, hopefully, outside guys aren't the worry about that.
15:27
[SPEAKER_05]: But it all starts at one thing, Big Seth, who's the might.
15:31
[SPEAKER_05]: We see who the mic is, and we're working on who the mic is, anybody to my side of the mic, I count all those dudes, anybody to the other side, I don't know where about all those dudes.
15:40
[SPEAKER_05]: And so it's going to be only Willis to make sure we point the mic out and protect all the other guys when it comes to hot break-offs.
15:47
[SPEAKER_06]: On my screen, the mic is to your right.
15:52
[SPEAKER_06]: right on my screen.
15:53
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he's to your right.
15:54
[SPEAKER_06]: My Jackson, your right or his right is what he's at.
15:57
[SPEAKER_06]: The dude says right.
15:58
[SPEAKER_06]: The defensive right or the offensive right.
16:01
[SPEAKER_06]: He's to my left.
16:02
[SPEAKER_06]: He's to your right.
16:04
[SPEAKER_06]: Mike is the Mike.
16:04
[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I'm trying to say.
16:08
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm confused, but that's okay.
16:11
[SPEAKER_06]: It's all good.
16:12
[SPEAKER_06]: So well, here's a question.
16:13
[SPEAKER_06]: So two things.
16:14
[SPEAKER_06]: One, the Malik Washington question, because we were just talking about the old line and we're talking about the mysterious injury or we don't know which me.
16:20
[SPEAKER_06]: It is for Devon HM.
16:21
[SPEAKER_06]: We just know that he's out.
16:23
[SPEAKER_06]: Malik Washington, is he going to be lined up?
16:26
[SPEAKER_06]: How many times is he going to get the run the ball?
16:28
[SPEAKER_06]: Is he going to be lined up?
16:29
[SPEAKER_06]: the slot is going to be so so that'll be an interesting situation.
16:33
[SPEAKER_06]: But you talk about the young receivers Caleb Douglas again has yet to practice.
16:38
[SPEAKER_06]: We his not been on the practice field since he had his ankle stepped on that to me you know at one point do we have to start getting concerned.
16:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah for me I mean young guys man.
16:51
[SPEAKER_05]: We have to make sure he's healthy when he gets back.
16:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, concerned for what, you know what I mean?
16:57
[SPEAKER_05]: There's a lot of guys out there get some opportunities.
16:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Kevin got a lot of opportunities last week, called me got a lot of opportunities, I mean.
17:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Of course, Chris Bell is playing well right now.
17:07
[SPEAKER_05]: He'll get better this week, Malik, Washington.
17:12
[SPEAKER_05]: You were right, Miller's a stud on this team, right?
17:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Miller is just a player.
17:17
[SPEAKER_05]: You're right, Miller, his flowers right now, man.
17:19
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
17:20
[SPEAKER_05]: But you're right, Toby, the thing about this, man.
17:23
[SPEAKER_05]: We just like HN to an extent, we know what Kayla does can do.
17:28
[SPEAKER_05]: So why not let him get healthy?
17:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, why not let other guys get opportunities?
17:33
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm okay, you know, because honestly, we're going to need Caleb Douglas for foreseeable future.
17:40
[SPEAKER_05]: So don't bring him back to early, man.
17:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Don't know what to say about Chris Bell.
17:44
[SPEAKER_05]: He's dragging that to you.
17:45
[SPEAKER_05]: This guy, you know what I mean?
17:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Because he's he's that I think he'd be that good.
17:50
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, yeah, I, so I hear you, but I feel the same, you know, they weren't going to rush Chris bail back and he's been on the interview report with a knee since he got back, you know, and continues to be so I'm like, there's a reason, like there's a reason that knee just didn't, unless it was the other knee, I don't know perk like maybe you can find that out.
18:08
[SPEAKER_06]: We get any information about anybody's knee, I don't know the answer, so should, should be interesting to see, but yeah Ryan Miller was a pleasant surprise so far.
18:19
[SPEAKER_05]: But he's dependable, bro.
18:21
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, there's a bunch of receivers that have been to lead that, you know, they're the quiet ones.
18:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Honestly, they're going to get to probably the worst cover guy or first the last least amount of attention, but he's been taking advantage of his opportunity, man.
18:33
[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, he won't be able to sneak up on anybody if he goes out there and has another, you know, that has a four or five game reception.
18:41
[SPEAKER_05]: But at the same time, no, man, it's somebody you can count on and see if runs good routes.
18:45
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, the first down rowdy ran, then the last game was nice.
18:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Of course, the touchdown a week before was nice.
18:51
[SPEAKER_05]: But, I mean, give the guys shot, just go out there and move the chains, man.
18:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Not be your main receiver, obviously.
18:57
[SPEAKER_05]: But be a guy that can be dependable, a relief valve, you know, for guys like, you know, who are from a league to be able to go out there and count on him.
19:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Being where he's supposed to be when he's supposed to be there.
19:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Keep him as that's the ball.
19:09
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you all this about Ryan Miller, what they really like about him.
19:13
[SPEAKER_02]: He is the epitome of no block, no rock.
19:16
[SPEAKER_02]: You watch him out there.
19:17
[SPEAKER_02]: He blocks and he's a special team's ace.
19:20
[SPEAKER_02]: That's how he got on the team.
19:22
[SPEAKER_02]: He's the upman in the punk cover, which was a very trusty position, but if you watch him on kick off coverage and everything, this dude is a hustler.
19:30
[SPEAKER_02]: He gets down the field and he mixes it up with people.
19:34
[SPEAKER_02]: as a receiver he mixes it up with people.
19:37
[SPEAKER_02]: He's not afraid to block.
19:38
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's that's one thing that they really love about him.
19:41
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they want to be an aggressive team Ryan Miller will mix it up with you.
19:45
[SPEAKER_02]: He sees a very physical player.
19:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
19:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
19:49
[SPEAKER_05]: I liked that.
19:50
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, you got it.
19:51
[SPEAKER_05]: You got to get in where you fitting with, you know, I mean, honestly, when you're not, you know, you wouldn't even top five due to our as a receiver.
19:58
[SPEAKER_05]: He was probably nine out six.
20:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
20:00
[SPEAKER_06]: How many people knew he was on the roster till he caused that 70 yard box.
20:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Very few.
20:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Very few.
20:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
20:07
[SPEAKER_05]: I'll be honest with you.
20:08
[SPEAKER_05]: I was a training camp.
20:09
[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't see him.
20:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Who was that?
20:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Was he a training camp?
20:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Was he a training camp?
20:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Was he a
20:14
[SPEAKER_02]: No, he was a late-tick-up guy.
20:18
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he was before the heat waver guys, but it was like he was before, but he was late.
20:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I think he was there for the Atlanta game, for the finale, I think.
20:29
[SPEAKER_05]: I think I'm about to get the nice Yversie number to he got.
20:33
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
20:34
[SPEAKER_06]: Well that because those are not coveted numbers anymore, Jews.
20:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Don't want to be more due to a big set.
20:38
[SPEAKER_06]: No.
20:38
[SPEAKER_06]: It's crazy.
20:39
[SPEAKER_06]: Like 80 numbers.
20:41
[SPEAKER_06]: Who had 83 and they switched out of it?
20:43
[SPEAKER_06]: And so it's like clearly you love the note.
20:45
[SPEAKER_06]: Hold it.
20:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Goldman did.
20:47
[SPEAKER_05]: He's that 21 now.
20:48
[SPEAKER_05]: That's a trash Yversie from the road.
20:50
[SPEAKER_05]: You played it right now.
20:51
[SPEAKER_05]: But you know what the trash Yversie is.
20:54
[SPEAKER_05]: But I think.
20:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Unless you're deals.
20:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the story behind me too.
21:00
[SPEAKER_02]: I have to get it.
21:02
[SPEAKER_02]: I did a story on the story behind players' numbers, but I think home and had a good story on why he went to 21 and half had a good story on why he went to 16.
21:12
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't get to top the either of them, but I think I think there's, how do you know the story?
21:19
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that my potassium has to do with someone he went to high school whether cowboys would pass away or something, right?
21:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
21:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
21:27
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
21:28
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
21:28
[SPEAKER_05]: That's a wonderful thing.
21:29
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, tell my story, big set.
21:31
[SPEAKER_05]: I meant tell my story like all week.
21:33
[SPEAKER_05]: So I was just doing the thing at Daytona.
21:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Because it's tank numerals.
21:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Order back 12.
21:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Look at that.
21:37
[SPEAKER_05]: I want a boy.
21:38
[SPEAKER_05]: I like that.
21:39
[SPEAKER_05]: I work 45 at Penn State my first year.
21:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Damn.
21:43
[SPEAKER_06]: That's a trash, no.
21:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you are DB.
21:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Why don't you sell Perk?
21:46
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll put the- Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
22:13
[SPEAKER_05]: you know, Christ goes up, Christ goes up.
22:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I would, it would, um, it's non-goated, man.
22:20
[SPEAKER_05]: It's, yeah, I don't know.
22:21
[SPEAKER_03]: I feel that's, that's really, but I mean, it's, I mean, it's a jewelry made.
22:26
[SPEAKER_05]: I had, I had, with Diane's made, I had, Jersey's made, I had, you come on, you can't replace it.
22:32
[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, the board, the board, yeah, the basketball court, the whole thing.
22:36
[SPEAKER_06]: So,
22:38
[SPEAKER_06]: I want to get to this question so we've got another special guest joining us in about five minutes, but I want to get to this question here.
22:45
[SPEAKER_06]: We talked about it earlier.
22:46
[SPEAKER_06]: Brian Flores is going to face the Miami Dolphins now as a defensive coordinator who even cares who the head coach is in some Vikings for this game, right?
22:55
[SPEAKER_06]: And not only, you know, the grudge match in the lawsuit and and all of those things of tour was still here.
23:01
[SPEAKER_06]: It might even be that much more interesting.
23:05
[SPEAKER_06]: You have to look at the fact, and we did a crossover on this.
23:09
[SPEAKER_06]: People are comparing this team, or Perk, you even set the bar for this team at that five win mark because of what happened in 2019.
23:17
[SPEAKER_06]: I think this is nothing like 2019.
23:20
[SPEAKER_06]: Go look at the score, the first three games in 2019, compared to the score of these first three games.
23:25
[SPEAKER_06]: I think there's two different trajectories how they end up, we shall see.
23:28
[SPEAKER_06]: But I wonder if there's a part of Flores,
23:31
[SPEAKER_06]: not only not wanting to stick it to the dolphins, not wanting, you know, just wanting to win as a competitive coach.
23:37
[SPEAKER_06]: But I wonder if there's a part of him that says, I want these idiots to get more to have more wins in their shit season than I had in my shit season.
23:45
[SPEAKER_06]: So he's got a lot of motivating factors.
23:47
[SPEAKER_06]: What do you guys think that what is flow going to say to these guys in a meeting room, Joseph?
23:52
[SPEAKER_05]: He's going to tell them that
23:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Sound Florida's got a beautiful weather, but they salt this hell man, and we come to form and they try to do me inside Florida.
24:08
[SPEAKER_05]: So you're not going to take care of me, and Van Geek was going to be there, and corroborating.
24:11
[SPEAKER_05]: He's going to be like, oh, yeah, don't just write.
24:14
[SPEAKER_05]: That's a big word like man, and he's big.
24:15
[SPEAKER_05]: That's a great word.
24:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so it's gonna be like float, you know, he might not have the same thing because he seemed like he was a man a few words But I know that his team is gonna realize how much this game's gonna mean to him and they're gonna have his back special and different side of football man So, you know, I am I am a floor ass fan.
24:35
[SPEAKER_05]: I really am I know he wouldn't you know Best person obviously to be around when it came to people around him, but when I interact with him
24:44
[SPEAKER_05]: It was great conversations, bro.
24:46
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
24:47
[SPEAKER_05]: I sat there and had lunch with him a couple times, man.
24:49
[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm a flow fan and I get that, you know, today's group of people and administrators and players, they don't like flow and I'm sure I don't know what perks and was or the interaction as well as the flow.
25:04
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
25:05
[SPEAKER_05]: But the dude was a ball coach man.
25:07
[SPEAKER_05]: And just because you don't get along with his philosophy, he got things done.
25:11
[SPEAKER_05]: We all talked about it.
25:12
[SPEAKER_05]: So if you talked about the results of the first few games with flow that we got destroyed and then all of a sudden took over it.
25:19
[SPEAKER_05]: And next thing you know, we're winning a football game.
25:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Floor is a football coach.
25:23
[SPEAKER_05]: But he's an old school football coach.
25:25
[SPEAKER_05]: And for these youngins that can't handle old school, they held with him.
25:28
[SPEAKER_05]: So he's got to do his own scene.
25:30
[SPEAKER_05]: There's some youngins, but they're all buying in, big set.
25:33
[SPEAKER_05]: He's got some buy-ins with some youngins on his football team.
25:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
25:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
25:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
25:38
[SPEAKER_06]: Went to a, went to a call them a jerk or whatever he called him and asked him or whatever he said on the Levittard show, you know, flow had that, that press availability.
25:46
[SPEAKER_06]: And his guys, his guys took up for him.
25:48
[SPEAKER_06]: They really did.
25:49
[SPEAKER_06]: You saw that.
25:51
[SPEAKER_06]: Now Austin Jackson allegedly was one of the guys that also really took a, you know, a beating, I don't mean, but Austin Jackson caught a lot of hell from Flores as well.
26:03
[SPEAKER_06]: So that'll be interesting because now.
26:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's going to be, oh, it's going to be overloads, going to be three dudes on Austin.
26:10
[SPEAKER_05]: They got running right back in and police says, you know, yeah, it's a big set.
26:15
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean,
26:17
[SPEAKER_05]: But one thing you will learn about coaching everybody knows is you can't coach your body the same way.
26:22
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I mean, some dudes need to be called.
26:24
[SPEAKER_05]: Some dudes need to be yelled at.
26:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Some dudes need to be handled in a different way.
26:28
[SPEAKER_05]: And if you can't get the best out of somebody by knowing how they react to your coaching, then that could be a problem too.
26:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe float out, he could, you know, yell at everybody and get, you know, me and get results out.
26:41
[SPEAKER_05]: You can't do that.
26:42
[SPEAKER_05]: I learned that from coaching a little league baseball, you know?
26:45
[SPEAKER_05]: And that's why I stopped coaching a little league baseball.
26:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Because I was a little scared of the little league, you know, I had somebody I said, I told the team, what the hell you guys doing out here one time after the game little Johnny's dad came up and said, you know, we don't curse around little John.
27:06
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why you get the level of playing.
27:07
[SPEAKER_06]: I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate
27:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you ain't gettin' go, sir.
27:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
27:28
[SPEAKER_05]: I tell you what a bunch of rich kid's mad.
27:30
[SPEAKER_05]: I got lawsuit and lawyers, man.
27:33
[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, we got lawyers too.
27:34
[SPEAKER_06]: We're lawyer done.
27:36
[SPEAKER_06]: I know.
27:36
[SPEAKER_05]: But I can't afford our lawyer.
27:38
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
27:41
[SPEAKER_06]: Good, so before I bring it, I guess per what you about to say about cool sports.
27:45
[SPEAKER_02]: I like slow.
27:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought a lot of flex went to a sand that about slow and I wrote you can say what you want about slow But his method was better than Mike McDaniel's method.
27:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, you know how can you say that Mike is brilliant Mike is all right, whatever
28:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Now we see what the truth was.
28:02
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm a flow fan, however, I said on a radio show earlier this week, I hadn't been in flow this week.
28:10
[SPEAKER_02]: You guys remember when Randy starts with him that contract dispute with the dolphins and they, yeah, and he exactly exactly said that.
28:19
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I think flow is going to do.
28:21
[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to get 18 sex.
28:24
[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to go have six of them.
28:26
[SPEAKER_02]: And flow is going to shoot a finger up to steam,
28:31
[SPEAKER_06]: Any chance Flora, they have Van Gankle giving them the double birds like the brine, but that would be great.
28:36
[SPEAKER_02]: So you got to wait to his foot, it's on healthy.
28:41
[SPEAKER_03]: So I just want to be clear that whoever betting partner is for this show that you're saying, go on there and make a wager against the dolphins this weekend is what I'm here.
28:50
[SPEAKER_03]: You can just have mostly semis.
28:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think it's a little bit easier.
28:54
[SPEAKER_06]: So so Dolphin's not has a good that's a betting partner, but we don't yet.
28:58
[SPEAKER_06]: We're it's an open market So I don't know if somebody has stepped back to the plate That's a great step up the only best thing.
29:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Only best thing that could have overflow would be if two was still the quarterback Hey, he went he might be two with if two was still our guy right now He would be It's just a mercy rule
29:20
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that would be rough.
29:21
[SPEAKER_06]: That would be rough.
29:22
[SPEAKER_06]: All right.
29:22
[SPEAKER_06]: Let's bring it our special guest and wait for this one.
29:25
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm waiting for this one My man, I'll bring it on.
29:30
[SPEAKER_06]: There he is
29:33
[SPEAKER_06]: It's been a long time, Seth.
29:37
[SPEAKER_06]: It has been too long.
29:38
[SPEAKER_06]: It has been too long.
29:40
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, let's give you a proper intro.
29:41
[SPEAKER_06]: So for those of you, I'm sure so many of you already do know them.
29:44
[SPEAKER_06]: But Brian Miller, he spent the last 18 years.
29:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Has it been 18 or has it been more 20 years?
29:50
[SPEAKER_06]: As an editor and senior contributor for Fin Finatic, he's probably read his stuff.
29:54
[SPEAKER_06]: He's broken stories.
29:56
[SPEAKER_06]: He's broken some stories that he had to pay the private.
30:00
[SPEAKER_06]: And all that good stuff.
30:01
[SPEAKER_06]: Amazing dolphins fan.
30:03
[SPEAKER_06]: Also an amazing guy.
30:04
[SPEAKER_06]: And my second favorite Miller brother.
30:06
[SPEAKER_06]: Don't tell Jim.
30:07
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
30:10
[SPEAKER_06]: Now look my guy plant that that's my guy for sure like all day every day.
30:15
[SPEAKER_06]: But Brian's a close second excited to have you here.
30:18
[SPEAKER_06]: I have to invite Brian on because it came.
30:21
[SPEAKER_06]: It comes across my
30:28
[SPEAKER_06]: And it is the 25 most beloved Miami Dolphins in team history is what the story is.
30:35
[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm like, well, this ought to be interesting, and of course, I want to go see where my partner is, where my boss is, and who else makes this list, and then I'm reading the list.
30:45
[SPEAKER_06]: And there's some things I agree with, and Brian, there's some things I'm scratching my head, man, so I sent it to the crew.
30:51
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
30:52
[SPEAKER_06]: Everybody knew it was a Brian Miller article.
30:54
[SPEAKER_06]: I got some, I jumped right out.
30:57
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Brian.
30:59
[SPEAKER_06]: So Michael, I'm going to give you the floor first.
31:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, actually, you don't want before we do any of that.
31:04
[SPEAKER_06]: Tell us your motivation, what you are trying to come, let's do that, let's give you the floor first.
31:11
[SPEAKER_06]: Talk to us about how you compiled this list, what the criteria was from the writer, and then we'll have some feedback.
31:19
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, well, it was actually very simple, half of it was serious, the other half was just to piss off the crew, the fish tank.
31:26
[SPEAKER_04]: Congratulations.
31:27
[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
31:28
[SPEAKER_04]: I did my job.
31:29
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's funny because it wasn't supposed to be mystical.
31:33
[SPEAKER_04]: which I'm going to put a point of contention.
31:36
[SPEAKER_04]: I should have divide them up by positions or by alphabetical name.
31:40
[SPEAKER_04]: I wanted to do include at least one player from each position group.
31:43
[SPEAKER_04]: So that's why I learned the Marais on there.
31:46
[SPEAKER_04]: We can just, I don't know, however you want to discuss.
31:49
[SPEAKER_04]: But,
31:50
[SPEAKER_04]: there are players on there that I wanted to kind of represent not just the the 70s team because I'm that's my team.
31:57
[SPEAKER_04]: My team 70s to the 80s early 90s and then there's a whole another generation of people that were Jimmy Johnson era and that there's you know people that unfortunately didn't get either Shula or Johnson.
32:08
[SPEAKER_04]: So
32:09
[SPEAKER_04]: I wanted to keep some semblance of guys that everybody could relate to in some way.
32:15
[SPEAKER_04]: So there's some guys that aren't on here that I would have absolutely put on on a heartbeat.
32:19
[SPEAKER_04]: But then I was thinking that's a little bit more personal.
32:21
[SPEAKER_04]: And I wanted to kind of maybe encompass a little bit more of what I read on social media, what people talk about on social media, what I talk to people out of the streets.
32:30
[SPEAKER_04]: And when they mention who they grew up watching, that's kind of why it is what it is.
32:34
[SPEAKER_04]: Mike can blow me away, man, I know you're right.
32:38
[SPEAKER_00]: Look, let me be the scarier, Brian.
32:40
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
32:41
[SPEAKER_04]: Why can I go away back by the way, so he's gonna end up with some sort of good news.
32:44
[SPEAKER_00]: This is all in the fun.
32:45
[SPEAKER_00]: But you messed up number one.
32:49
[SPEAKER_00]: One of the lists.
32:50
[SPEAKER_04]: No, I did.
32:50
[SPEAKER_00]: Number one is Damarino, and there's not even a close second.
32:54
[SPEAKER_00]: Damarino's one.
32:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I get Sankha, I get it, but the people who saw Sankha, and I say it is tongue and cheek, are getting ready for a nursing home.
33:02
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time ago.
33:03
[SPEAKER_00]: It is.
33:04
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a long time ago.
33:05
[SPEAKER_04]: I can't say why.
33:06
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna tell you why.
33:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, don't be why.
33:08
[SPEAKER_04]: Because he was my favorite player.
33:10
[SPEAKER_04]: He is still my favorite player.
33:11
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it's a male experience.
33:12
[SPEAKER_04]: One thing I put in there was Zalke at one time.
33:15
[SPEAKER_04]: That was my guy.
33:17
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's top five.
33:18
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's top five.
33:19
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not like it's a crazy rank.
33:20
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, and he's the only guy you could put over marino if you're going to put someone over marino.
33:24
[SPEAKER_06]: Is it fair to say?
33:25
[SPEAKER_06]: Whatever.
33:25
[SPEAKER_06]: Would we all agree with that?
33:27
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, yeah, that would be other than O. J. McDuffie.
33:30
[SPEAKER_04]: Seth says, no, this story.
33:31
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to get into it.
33:32
[SPEAKER_04]: But Larry Zarka got me kick off of the Jason Taylor dance floor at his after party at his all-fayne induction.
33:41
[SPEAKER_04]: So
33:41
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, hell, Larry's off the bed.
33:46
[SPEAKER_04]: I wanted to get a picture of him with Dan Reno and Jason Taylor between him and there's a story that Seth can tell you whenever he wants, but needless to say, I wandered out too far into the stage.
33:56
[SPEAKER_04]: I got it.
33:57
[SPEAKER_05]: I got it.
33:58
[SPEAKER_05]: I got it.
34:00
[SPEAKER_05]: It's so crazy, except because it sounds like mine.
34:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Sounds like it's like, you say the fans are like,
34:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Zalqa being the one this.
34:13
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm talking about all of them.
34:14
[SPEAKER_04]: Like you see, you're the fan you think.
34:17
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I really tried honestly to kind of gauge some of these players.
34:23
[SPEAKER_04]: were, you know, players that I grew up on players that I knew about.
34:25
[SPEAKER_04]: There was other guys on there that, you know, I will be honest, and this is a, you know, I have no problem been in this because I'll address my life.
34:29
[SPEAKER_04]: I would not have put Ricky Williams on there.
34:30
[SPEAKER_00]: That's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's
34:42
[SPEAKER_00]: Ricky is their guy.
34:44
[SPEAKER_00]: Now with you, I wouldn't have an eye, but again, I was alive to see all of Marina.
34:50
[SPEAKER_00]: But for that generation of fans, and that's a bid generation, Ricky is beloved.
34:54
[SPEAKER_00]: I am shocked every year when I go to a game.
34:57
[SPEAKER_00]: How many Ricky?
34:57
[SPEAKER_00]: What year was yours?
34:58
[SPEAKER_00]: There are.
34:58
[SPEAKER_00]: When I have my list podcast, the type of time amount of two times, the traffic goes through, I mean, people love Ricky.
35:05
[SPEAKER_00]: He's not, he's not five.
35:07
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you can pick, you know, three, four, or five, forever.
35:10
[SPEAKER_00]: He's tough five because not so much for personal but he is beloved by a large chunk of this fan base, the younger part of this fan base.
35:20
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he can do no wrong.
35:22
[SPEAKER_00]: No matter what he did, he quit this thing.
35:24
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they got suspended again.
35:25
[SPEAKER_00]: He can do no wrong in their eyes.
35:27
[SPEAKER_00]: So have it 25.
35:29
[SPEAKER_00]: I get why you had them that low, but really if if we're doing a true list taking out all the emotion, he's top five for sure.
35:38
[SPEAKER_00]: It's days Zach and Jason and whichever order you want, Zach Ricky, that's your top five.
35:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, these back in October.
35:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, sir.
35:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Ricky Williams, the best running back in Dolphin history, 100%.
35:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, that's running back in dolphin history.
35:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Let me go.
35:55
[SPEAKER_05]: And so he's gotta be, he's gotta be up there.
35:58
[SPEAKER_05]: He's the best in our history.
35:59
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't care if he's like him or not.
36:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, but it's a love.
36:01
[SPEAKER_06]: That's it, but it was beloved.
36:03
[SPEAKER_06]: It wasn't the team.
36:04
[SPEAKER_06]: It's just a love.
36:05
[SPEAKER_05]: When he was running through the snow against Buffalo, I was love.
36:08
[SPEAKER_05]: When he was running through dudes down here in Miami, I'm a love that he didn't accept or quit or I beloved that dude for sure.
36:15
[SPEAKER_05]: I beloved him.
36:17
[SPEAKER_03]: And some of your input in the chat, the pot head vote, too, is definitely skewing this.
36:22
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there is a whole generation of pot head quidders for sure.
36:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
36:45
[SPEAKER_02]: is Ricky, one of the most talented running backs in Dolphin's history, or one of the best, and is there a difference?
36:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Because you know what I'm saying?
36:53
[SPEAKER_02]: A vast might be, you know, you land your team to a Super Bowl or something.
36:58
[SPEAKER_02]: What do you all think about that?
36:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I consider Zach a fullback or than a running back.
37:02
[SPEAKER_00]: So that takes him out.
37:02
[SPEAKER_00]: So now you're comparing Ricky with I'm really more suggest.
37:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's just say running back.
37:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
37:08
[SPEAKER_00]: Right back in encompassing.
37:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
37:13
[SPEAKER_00]: He's probably the most talented.
37:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
37:14
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
37:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Here's the thing about it.
37:18
[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
37:20
[SPEAKER_05]: That's all.
37:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Linus to some old championship.
37:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe.
37:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Did he kick and murk have something to do with the grease he had something to do with it did you know the defense that was underrated has something to do with it and then the It's like you have something to do with it with the fake foot who knows right Good Ricky always say this man.
37:38
[SPEAKER_05]: I hate compared errors Ricky Williams or the head 3,000 yards running behind you know with them dudes with with with his whole Hall of Fame mind that he had you know so
37:49
[SPEAKER_05]: The fact that you talk about soccer and winning championships, we know this part that championships are not one by one person.
37:56
[SPEAKER_05]: That night, damn Rita was the one multiple.
37:58
[SPEAKER_05]: If it was, if it was damn Rita, either one multiple championships.
38:03
[SPEAKER_05]: It probably would have won more than four.
38:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
38:06
[SPEAKER_05]: If we didn't have Jimmy Johnson, we the one one two.
38:08
[SPEAKER_05]: But that's another story, right?
38:10
[SPEAKER_05]: Different story, man.
38:11
[SPEAKER_05]: The whole difference story, man.
38:13
[SPEAKER_03]: Where was Jimmy Johnson on the list, were learning coaches on the list?
38:16
[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
38:33
[SPEAKER_06]: I think a little bit higher, but in the name of it.
38:35
[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, no, no.
38:35
[SPEAKER_05]: I'll take 12.
38:36
[SPEAKER_05]: I'll take 12.
38:37
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I may play it a bit.
38:39
[SPEAKER_00]: I think you're just a higher, like, what?
38:40
[SPEAKER_03]: It's just a little bit of a top 10.
38:43
[SPEAKER_00]: I think you would have meant it.
38:44
[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen you respond to top 10.
38:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
38:46
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
38:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Why, that's great, yeah, why.
38:48
[SPEAKER_00]: You guys.
38:49
[SPEAKER_00]: A, you're on the show, B, you interact with a lot of, you know, fans and C, you know, I've seen you at like met life stuff, they have a take over the fans flocked to you.
39:01
[SPEAKER_00]: This is not who's the best players.
39:03
[SPEAKER_00]: This is been loved by fans.
39:05
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think you and Richmond Webb are those types of guys who interact with the fans on a regular basis.
39:11
[SPEAKER_00]: That's what you're both having 10.
39:13
[SPEAKER_04]: I said that.
39:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Cause you're out there.
39:15
[SPEAKER_04]: That's a great point.
39:16
[SPEAKER_04]: You are accessible and if you want to meet a Dolphins player, it says right there in my article, if you are a Dolphins fan and you want to meet a Dolphins player, OGM McDuff is the guy that you're going to meet because you're accessible, you're available.
39:31
[SPEAKER_04]: And when somebody walks up to you and I've seen it with my own eyes, you take the time to talk to them.
39:35
[SPEAKER_04]: and it leads to an impression on the youngest of fans, the oldest of fans, and that's absolutely 100%.
39:41
[SPEAKER_04]: Square way, Missy, you know what I've been?
39:43
[SPEAKER_04]: This change's everything then.
39:44
[SPEAKER_00]: And I want to be number three, watch.
39:46
[SPEAKER_05]: That's B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2, B2
39:59
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, let's go through the 11 that are ahead of the ojimic.
40:03
[SPEAKER_06]: Let's go here.
40:04
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, so number one, we've already discussed in on Brian Miller's list.
40:08
[SPEAKER_06]: He said the only personal bias he put in there is number one, Larry Zonka, number two, we've got Dan Marino, okay.
40:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Overrated.
40:19
[SPEAKER_06]: number four Jason Taylor.
40:24
[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you for the shout out to the Jason Taylor foundation in the in the article.
40:28
[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you for that Brian.
40:29
[SPEAKER_06]: Number five Mercury Morris number six Richmond web number seven mark Clayton number eight mark duper number nine the white Stevenson number ten two nine
40:43
[SPEAKER_06]: Number 11 Jim kick and then again at 12 and then you know what I'll go to 13 because we'll get my guy Kim Boking up her in here as well at 13 So that's the top 13 what a great number to choose.
40:55
[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's one guy who should be probably top 10 Because what he did for a lot of fans in the 90s was iconic and still talked about to this
41:05
[SPEAKER_00]: Ryan Cox walk his foot low flipping off the birds is on there.
41:09
[SPEAKER_00]: And then on the second play the game he sacs Jim Cali He did Brian the 15 yeah 15.
41:16
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's top 10 though.
41:17
[SPEAKER_06]: I think he probably if you're answering Belonged.
41:20
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he might be top that alone.
41:22
[SPEAKER_00]: That's a
41:27
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
41:28
[SPEAKER_05]: I know Brian said I'm approachable and all this that while I'm below.
41:31
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just confused because aren't approachable.
41:35
[SPEAKER_03]: That's what writers do.
41:37
[SPEAKER_03]: They make up their own categories.
41:39
[SPEAKER_03]: So people will talk about it and then you can't argue with them because he made it up.
41:43
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if I can put some of them do.
41:45
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I feel, you know, give me a hug.
41:48
[SPEAKER_06]: You can get a ride a hard time.
41:49
[SPEAKER_06]: You start falling down the list, man.
41:51
[SPEAKER_06]: Come on.
41:53
[SPEAKER_04]: I can edit this right now.
41:55
[SPEAKER_05]: If you don't read it right away, I'm going to play it.
41:56
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to play it right away.
41:57
[SPEAKER_05]: So, I'm going to read it.
41:58
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to read it.
41:58
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to read it.
41:59
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to read it.
41:59
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to read it.
42:00
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to read it.
42:01
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to read it.
42:01
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to read it.
42:02
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:02
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:03
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:04
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:05
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:06
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:06
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:07
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:08
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:09
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:10
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:11
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to read it.
42:12
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going
42:14
[SPEAKER_06]: No, I think I heard I was asked.
42:17
[SPEAKER_02]: We know where he stands good.
42:19
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the top 13 is good.
42:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Here's here's what else I would have Brian is There's some Hall of Famers that are not on here and some good, like, you know, Nick Bonnecuni.
42:29
[SPEAKER_02]: So is this.
42:31
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is a contemporary, this is known to people in their 20s, as well as people in their 70s.
42:35
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's kind of what I was talking about.
42:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Coach and Bird was a Grouch.
42:38
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think any, you know, but he was a great player.
42:42
[SPEAKER_02]: So tell me tell me about that.
42:43
[SPEAKER_04]: The age range and a fewer Grouch and all that.
42:46
[SPEAKER_04]: You just say it approachable.
42:47
[SPEAKER_04]: No.
42:48
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, like, it really kind of took in.
42:50
[SPEAKER_04]: I took into statistics.
42:51
[SPEAKER_04]: I took in what they meant to the team.
42:53
[SPEAKER_04]: I took in the fan interactions.
42:55
[SPEAKER_04]: How fans remember them?
42:57
[SPEAKER_04]: Do fans still remember them?
43:01
[SPEAKER_04]: If I'm walking down the street and I mentioned Nick Bond, I kind of do a dolphin stand that's in their 20s.
43:04
[SPEAKER_04]: I have no idea who he is.
43:06
[SPEAKER_04]: Right, right.
43:07
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, isn't he the guy that's on the ring of honor or the honor role?
43:13
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, when you start looking, I mean, you could make the same argument for Larry Little, obviously.
43:18
[SPEAKER_04]: And I love these.
43:19
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I've been always like they're fantastic.
43:22
[SPEAKER_04]: So at some point, I could throw in and be a cop out and throw in all of these Hall of Famers and say they're in love.
43:29
[SPEAKER_04]: but do the same amount of people today.
43:33
[SPEAKER_04]: If you're over the age of 55, you know all these guys.
43:36
[SPEAKER_04]: You've watched them play.
43:38
[SPEAKER_04]: You grew up, we see them in the, yeah, you see them walking into the stadium and just like, oh my god, this Dick Anderson, you know, you're like, it's, it's crazy, but those guys don't get that same love anymore.
43:50
[SPEAKER_04]: Now Bob Gracie obviously does Larry's archety as, you know, so it was kind of a weighted, it was a weighted list.
43:56
[SPEAKER_04]: And I wanted people to look at this and go, oh yeah, that's my guy, I love that guy, I remember that guy.
44:02
[SPEAKER_04]: So it was a give or take.
44:04
[SPEAKER_03]: a real quick.
44:04
[SPEAKER_03]: I can tell you that I've been out with O.J.
44:06
[SPEAKER_03]: many times.
44:07
[SPEAKER_03]: It was like, hey, I saw you have publics in 1999.
44:10
[SPEAKER_03]: It was like, yeah, yeah, you know, you went with that.
44:13
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, I was with that.
44:14
[SPEAKER_03]: And O.J.
44:15
[SPEAKER_03]: just makes it so good.
44:18
[SPEAKER_04]: It's so good at it where I'm like, you actually know that guy's like, oh, no, I don't know the hell that it's, but Seth looks over and we can say to Brian more, that's Quentin a little bit.
44:45
[SPEAKER_05]: In order for you to remember, because you have so many, it has to be memorable, you know, you're not going to remember every encounter with everybody, man, because I'm over there picking up avocados and you're getting avocados.
44:59
[SPEAKER_05]: You say with stuff, oh, that's all you do this and that.
45:02
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not going to say like, yeah, bro, I remember you and we're getting avocados at the
45:10
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, but every encounter is new you need to different people.
45:14
[SPEAKER_05]: You know me like right now This is kind of a Brian.
45:16
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm never like this is great for me now.
45:18
[SPEAKER_05]: Brown next time I see you I'm a member that you have me so low on your total phone And I'm gonna talk about this you know what I mean.
45:27
[SPEAKER_05]: That's how that's how in counters rolled Really high
45:36
[SPEAKER_05]: No, that's great.
45:38
[SPEAKER_05]: I'll take for it.
45:38
[SPEAKER_05]: I got to say I'm good.
45:39
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I mean, so that's what I was going to put you on the spot, Jensen, say, who are we sliding out for to push you up into the top 10?
45:44
[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
46:22
[SPEAKER_06]: So you know what the kicker punner thing's interesting and I actually wrote me I don't know what he would be on my top 25 now if you ranked great players I mean he was an elite elite punner and then the kicker piece and this one I almost don't want to step in because Linda was right you know same age He was Cooper City guy.
46:39
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm a Piper guy
46:41
[SPEAKER_06]: He came to Anacera, Cuesa, and I went there was like, my kicker, right, Lindo.
46:46
[SPEAKER_06]: He got with 97.
46:48
[SPEAKER_06]: And so my entire career with the dolphins, Lindo was there.
46:51
[SPEAKER_06]: Still stand touch with Lindo, love Lindo.
46:54
[SPEAKER_06]: But man, Pete's soy on a bitch was really, really popular.
46:57
[SPEAKER_04]: Pete's soy on a bitch was not only my favorite player growing up.
47:01
[SPEAKER_04]: I literally looked up or spanishy football draft every day.
47:04
[SPEAKER_04]: I drafted him in the first round.
47:06
[SPEAKER_06]: Bam, wow.
47:07
[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I'm saying here?
47:08
[SPEAKER_04]: I know it's right here.
47:09
[SPEAKER_04]: You know what that even make the list?
47:11
[SPEAKER_04]: I finished second one.
47:12
[SPEAKER_04]: He did that because I grew up in Taylor.
47:15
[SPEAKER_04]: I spent time in Taylor Michigan.
47:16
[SPEAKER_04]: I worked in a sports industry up there.
47:19
[SPEAKER_04]: We did a lot of work with the red wings.
47:21
[SPEAKER_04]: He grew up right up the road.
47:22
[SPEAKER_04]: And I just absolutely.
47:23
[SPEAKER_04]: Peace started out of it since the time I was a kid was just when the first time he came in the league was just my guy.
47:28
[SPEAKER_04]: And he was Mr. Miami here.
47:29
[SPEAKER_04]: Right?
47:29
[SPEAKER_04]: What?
47:30
[SPEAKER_04]: What?
47:31
[SPEAKER_04]: He was the man.
47:32
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, right.
47:34
[SPEAKER_04]: It was a personal choice, yeah, so he did do that.
47:40
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, look, Brian, great is Ronnie Brown on a list.
47:42
[SPEAKER_06]: He is not on the list and Drew.
47:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Ronnie Brown is not on the list, but, but the list is great.
47:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Go check it out, Brian, tell him where they can follow your stuff and where they can go find this article because it's a great, I mean, we have so much dialogue in our text, it's so good.
47:57
[SPEAKER_06]: Everything else.
47:57
[SPEAKER_06]: It's a great conversation piece, and it's fun to say who would have been higher, who's missing from the list.
48:04
[SPEAKER_04]: It's a really cool thing as a dog defense, so I think he did a great job.
48:06
[SPEAKER_04]: Where can they find it?
48:08
[SPEAKER_04]: It's at www.autimicduffany.
48:16
[SPEAKER_04]: It's here so though it's at FinFanatic.com and it's spelled with PHPH, so it's PHIN, PH-A-N-H-G-I-C.com and you don't hey, I get, I get called a lot of words over there that I've never had known and I have to look them up so I'm going to ask this.
48:35
[SPEAKER_04]: And I put another one out today so you can blast that one too.
48:37
[SPEAKER_06]: And where can they find on social media if they want to tell you what they think about?
48:40
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, we got our Cincinnati Twitter account guy hacked Mike.
48:44
[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
48:47
[SPEAKER_04]: But we lost it.
48:48
[SPEAKER_04]: So my nose all about hacks right now.
48:51
[SPEAKER_04]: It's at txmedic five.
48:53
[SPEAKER_04]: And that's my that's my couch.
48:54
[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm blowing it up up there.
48:56
[SPEAKER_04]: So Awesome.
48:57
[SPEAKER_04]: This book is infinite.
48:58
[SPEAKER_06]: So great stuff.
48:59
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, Brian, you're welcome to hang out with us through the rest of the night.
49:02
[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to roll into the Van Horlock group.
49:04
[SPEAKER_06]: Legal zone and we're going to do the try to tell y'all segment.
49:07
[SPEAKER_06]: So you don't have to go anywhere.
49:09
[SPEAKER_06]: But if you're taking off, but if you want, are you going to hang?
49:11
[SPEAKER_06]: I can hate for a few, yeah.
49:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, right.
49:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, right.
49:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, yeah.
49:15
[SPEAKER_05]: We'll talk before we get into that man.
49:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Appreciate you guys.
49:18
[SPEAKER_05]: I love you, everybody.
49:19
[SPEAKER_05]: A hard time, man.
49:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no.
49:21
[SPEAKER_04]: I still don't record.
49:22
[SPEAKER_04]: I was doing.
49:24
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, especially me.
49:26
[SPEAKER_06]: Good stuff.
49:26
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, all right.
49:27
[SPEAKER_06]: We're rolling into the van on a log group legal zone and this one does have a this one hits close to home kind of almost Chad.
49:35
[SPEAKER_06]: So tonight we're going to talk about something that took place in the dolphins game and the full back
49:43
[SPEAKER_06]: for the 49ers, the great full-back Kyle use check, he got fined almost $15,000 for a celebration against the dolphins.
49:53
[SPEAKER_06]: The NFL said he tried to simulate drinking a beer.
49:57
[SPEAKER_06]: He said, oh, my name is Juice, which I would find him just for trying to steal Juice's name.
50:01
[SPEAKER_06]: He's not the real Juice.
50:02
[SPEAKER_06]: But he was like, I was sipping Juice because my name is Juice.
50:06
[SPEAKER_06]: They said you're sipping beer.
50:08
[SPEAKER_06]: Here's a 14,926 dollar fine.
50:11
[SPEAKER_06]: Chad Van Horn, what's going on?
50:14
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, OJ, I need your help tonight, because as Tess said, the NFL is coming after a man who calls himself juice.
50:24
[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
50:25
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think you have a professional obligation to defend the juice community even if it happens against the dolphins.
50:34
[SPEAKER_03]: As Tess said, Kyle used check,
50:37
[SPEAKER_03]: I was fine, 14,926 dollars per ten to drink that beer.
50:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Was it juice?
50:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Was it beer?
50:48
[SPEAKER_03]: He's appealing the fine.
50:49
[SPEAKER_03]: It's 15,000, and that's a very expensive, imaginary beverage.
50:54
[SPEAKER_03]: He's a buck, do we have the clip?
50:57
[SPEAKER_06]: He couldn't get the clip, but he put the photo up.
50:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, it's not put the clip, but anyways, you can give us like a lot of violations for that.
51:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, the clip only shows the play.
51:06
[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't show a celebration.
51:07
[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
51:07
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we don't want to see that touch down because we already knew about that.
51:10
[SPEAKER_03]: So we got the photo, so that's good.
51:12
[SPEAKER_03]: So juice.
51:14
[SPEAKER_03]: As a resident, juice expert, what are we looking at here?
51:18
[SPEAKER_03]: What is he drinking?
51:19
[SPEAKER_03]: He's drinking orange juice, apple juice, something from concentrate.
51:24
[SPEAKER_03]: What is this man drinking?
51:27
[SPEAKER_05]: He's drinking something that's gonna get that fine rescinded.
51:30
[SPEAKER_05]: They don't know, they can't, they can't tell what he's got.
51:33
[SPEAKER_05]: They're gonna, that fine is going nowhere for him.
51:35
[SPEAKER_05]: He's gonna be all right.
51:36
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
51:38
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I drink juice through a straw.
51:43
[SPEAKER_05]: That's weird.
51:44
[SPEAKER_05]: With vodka.
51:45
[SPEAKER_03]: With vodka.
51:46
[SPEAKER_03]: That's all right, that's all right.
51:48
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, gin and juice?
51:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's what we're fighting with that.
51:51
[SPEAKER_03]: Actually, and juice, that brings up a good point.
51:54
[SPEAKER_03]: So the league takes money from beer sponsors, but pretending to drink something is where we draw the line.
52:03
[SPEAKER_03]: With this admit acceptable, if you pretend it, told the correct sponsors beer as he drank it.
52:13
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's a hit the crits of course right.
52:16
[SPEAKER_03]: So here's how I handle the appeal is if he'd hire me and juice.
52:21
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm available as I'm available all just as I represent all the juices.
52:25
[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
52:26
[SPEAKER_03]: So we're going to show the history of doing the celebration first off.
52:30
[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to clearly explain the nickname to Mr. Gidel because he is a jury and executioner.
52:36
[SPEAKER_03]: And then we're going to challenge the league's interpretation.
52:39
[SPEAKER_03]: What makes this particular gesture an offensive demonstration of drinking an illegal substance?
52:48
[SPEAKER_03]: And that leads me to another question because I know, OJ, you had it been fine because you've done some dumb stuff back in the day, what was the most ridiculous find that you ever got?
52:58
[SPEAKER_03]: Or saw a teammate get, and would you have paid somebody like me to fight it or would you have paid the fine?
53:05
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, Chad, it's one of you, I said.
53:07
[SPEAKER_05]: I was flying one time.
53:09
[SPEAKER_05]: I was flying for being late to a meeting in the reason.
53:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Because he was, hey, whatever ever teammates tell me you ever threw me into a cold tub and I was late to a meeting.
53:23
[SPEAKER_05]: I was never, I was never fine.
53:25
[SPEAKER_05]: And she literally had a fine book, which I wish I could see right now, that's legendary.
53:29
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't, you know, I don't keep fine bro.
53:31
[SPEAKER_05]: I played by the book, bro.
53:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Only thing I almost got fine by was that more trying to turn my socks point right.
53:37
[SPEAKER_05]: I did you have a teammate so they got some ridiculous.
53:39
[SPEAKER_05]: I've got a fine story for you Yeah, there's a bunch of them.
53:43
[SPEAKER_05]: They got fine and he find that letter self a tell you But that letter in the locker room and in the locker We did mob it did Seth the set the liver the letter.
53:52
[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like he's the letter delivered
53:56
[SPEAKER_06]: So they would FedEx, hopefully they use UPS now, because I'm a UPS guy.
54:01
[SPEAKER_06]: But they would send a FedEx envelope.
54:06
[SPEAKER_06]: And so if you had a FedEx envelope on your chair, when you came in the next slide, you knew it was about the cost you money.
54:12
[SPEAKER_03]: But why are you FedExing it when you're already in the building?
54:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Why don't you just drop it?
54:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, no, because you're talking about an injury.
54:17
[SPEAKER_03]: And me.
54:18
[SPEAKER_03]: But me.
54:19
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, he got his coming from the league.
54:23
[SPEAKER_06]: 280 park Avenue.
54:24
[SPEAKER_06]: That's it.
54:24
[SPEAKER_06]: That is coming from the league office.
54:26
[SPEAKER_06]: That's yeah, that's what.
54:27
[SPEAKER_06]: No.
54:28
[SPEAKER_06]: So you find it.
54:29
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, Jay got was like probably came from Stu.
54:32
[SPEAKER_05]: So, so you're not sure.
54:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Stu was saying I'm still going to find you.
54:38
[SPEAKER_03]: So you basically had somebody that was just delivering mail.
54:41
[SPEAKER_03]: They didn't know what was in the mail.
54:42
[SPEAKER_03]: They just received it and said, Mark Leone.
54:45
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Mark Leone in our day was passing the mail out.
54:49
[SPEAKER_06]: Probably told everybody had to put a fine letter on somebody's locker.
54:52
[SPEAKER_06]: But the worst fine story I ever saw.
54:55
[SPEAKER_06]: was I forget what game it was Michael probably be able to tell me.
54:59
[SPEAKER_06]: I want to say we were playing Buffalo and whoever to starting quarterback, Ray Lucas was playing and it was Ray Lucas basically had the game that kind of was beginning at the end for his career and he had multiple.
55:11
[SPEAKER_06]: I think I like six turnovers with fumbles and receptions and and I love Ray Lucas so I know people there's no Ray Lucas slander here just one of my all-time favorite guys but he had a horrific game
55:23
[SPEAKER_06]: And he just wanted to go crawl in a hole and leave.
55:26
[SPEAKER_06]: And we talked that were like, right, you were the starting quarterback, the starting quarterback always shows up to the mic.
55:32
[SPEAKER_06]: You're not a man who's afraid of anything.
55:34
[SPEAKER_06]: You gotta go face it and he goes, now let's go get it over with.
55:37
[SPEAKER_06]: He just took his shoulder pads off, underneath his pads.
55:40
[SPEAKER_06]: He had a dry fit, under armor, white shirt.
55:46
[SPEAKER_06]: Under Armour was not a partner with the league, you know, it was I don't know if it was Nike or Reebok, and he could wear it because it was under his pads, he would never see it.
55:57
[SPEAKER_06]: But he was the last thing in the world he was thinking about.
56:00
[SPEAKER_06]: Nobody wanted to think about it because it was just a miserable game.
56:03
[SPEAKER_06]: He takes it off, he goes out there and he stands up in front of Chris Perkins in the rest of the media.
56:08
[SPEAKER_06]: And he said, I never thought that a one player could lose a game in the greatest team sport there is, but today I lost a game for my teammates.
56:15
[SPEAKER_06]: And answered every question was a total, you know, just manned up about it, walked out of there.
56:21
[SPEAKER_06]: We all felt sick for the guy, and then he shows up the work the next day.
56:25
[SPEAKER_06]: It's fine.
56:26
[SPEAKER_06]: Bad X envelope, and it's sitting on his chair, and there's a $10,000.
56:30
[SPEAKER_03]: So they're overnighting it, too.
56:34
[SPEAKER_03]: They're not waiting.
56:34
[SPEAKER_03]: They're overnighting it.
56:36
[SPEAKER_06]: overnight.
56:37
[SPEAKER_03]: So he went on the money in the world, Chad.
56:39
[SPEAKER_03]: They should be on over night.
56:40
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think they can pay in for it because of Fed.
56:43
[SPEAKER_03]: That actually paid for it.
56:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
56:45
[SPEAKER_06]: They paid a gazillion dollars to be the official overnight carrier.
56:49
[SPEAKER_06]: So that yeah, they all just, they would send stuff overnight all the time.
56:53
[SPEAKER_06]: And he, I walked in.
56:54
[SPEAKER_06]: He's like, Seth, what the bleep is this?
56:56
[SPEAKER_06]: He was wife.
56:57
[SPEAKER_03]: He's good to kill me.
56:58
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
56:59
[SPEAKER_06]: And I took it upstairs and I went to Harvey and I was like, look, how do we convince the guy not to run out of the back of the locker room and follow, you know, and that's what he wants to do.
57:08
[SPEAKER_06]: And the guy does what we ask him to do.
57:10
[SPEAKER_06]: He follows his responsibilities that the league places upon him.
57:14
[SPEAKER_06]: And then we're going to hit him for $10,000 because he had a little logo on his shirt and we actually got it rescinded.
57:19
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
57:20
[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the game.
57:20
[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the, this is the game.
57:29
[SPEAKER_00]: It's turnovers six turnovers in one game.
57:31
[SPEAKER_06]: It was rough, man.
57:32
[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
57:32
[SPEAKER_00]: That's a rough.
57:32
[SPEAKER_06]: That's a rough day.
57:33
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot
57:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, they probably think that's smoking weed right here.
57:53
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
58:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you know, we had, you know, record breaking stolen bases at Penn State, man, drafted by the angels, you know, me, I'm a baller pro, and I'm just playing with any out of that.
58:30
[SPEAKER_05]: On some serious stuff, man, you know, sometimes I'm trying to try to be funny on I try to tell you all, man, but I'm gonna talk a little bit about a little more serious stuff tonight, so I try to tell you all, so I try to tell you all that.
58:42
[SPEAKER_05]: So a concussion is not a box on a stat sheet.
58:46
[SPEAKER_05]: It's not, he got up so he's fine.
58:49
[SPEAKER_05]: It's not a timeout, a blue tit, and it thumbs up so the dry up to keep going.
58:55
[SPEAKER_05]: I had concussions in NFL that never made a report.
58:58
[SPEAKER_05]: No protocol, no independent neurologists, no national conversation.
59:03
[SPEAKER_05]: You took the smell thoughts, you found the sign line, you were told that you were good, and your teammates thought and hoped you were good, and you went back in because, you know, that is what the building rewarded.
59:15
[SPEAKER_05]: If you said somebody else ate, I don't worry about that.
59:19
[SPEAKER_05]: If you blinked,
59:21
[SPEAKER_05]: I sat in worry about that.
59:22
[SPEAKER_05]: If you blinked, you were somebody that you never saw.
59:27
[SPEAKER_05]: So a lot of us blink on the inside and kept our mouths shut.
59:31
[SPEAKER_05]: I remember one thing, one time when it was in the morning, well, I think I remembered, it was a Sunday, sunny Miami afternoon, the kind of light that makes the white helmets look like, you know, the blinding and lighting on a photo shoot.
59:49
[SPEAKER_05]: Detroit Lions in town, Mark Carrier came through and knocked the hell out of me on a crossing route and turned the sunlight off.
59:58
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not being poetic.
59:59
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, the lights went out.
1:00:01
[SPEAKER_05]: Total darkness.
1:00:02
[SPEAKER_05]: And I am told I talk shit all the way back to the hotel.
1:00:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Not me, right?
1:00:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Not me.
1:00:08
[SPEAKER_05]: So, not me.
1:00:10
[SPEAKER_05]: One second, I'm a grown man running the route in South Florida the next second.
1:00:15
[SPEAKER_05]: There is no sun, no stadium, no crowd, just black.
1:00:20
[SPEAKER_05]: In the world comes back in pieces.
1:00:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Noise first, then grass, then the fact that you still have a job to finish.
1:00:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Nobody wrote that one down.
1:00:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Nobody sat me.
1:00:32
[SPEAKER_05]: A game kept the same score it had for my brain went dark.
1:00:37
[SPEAKER_05]: This is a park fan still do not want to hold.
1:00:41
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm looking at that money nag.
1:00:42
[SPEAKER_05]: When Jalen hurts took a sideline shot, yes, it's Chicago.
1:00:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Late hit out of bounds.
1:00:49
[SPEAKER_05]: They pulled into the tent, they cleared him, he came back.
1:00:54
[SPEAKER_05]: And now, a personal dinner net is mad that he does not look the same like the same quarterback after it.
1:01:00
[SPEAKER_05]: That's it, standard, as if the standard is, get drilled, get checked, and go to suit board repeat on the next series or you owe the audience an apology.
1:01:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Give the man some grace.
1:01:15
[SPEAKER_05]: You do not get to watch a human being's hits snap on the sideline and then grade the next two hours like it was a walkthrough.
1:01:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Even if the test says past, even if he says he's fine, especially if he says he feels fine, that is the sins every one of us learn to save with a straight face.
1:01:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, look at two of, I love two of.
1:01:39
[SPEAKER_05]: My love two of.
1:01:40
[SPEAKER_05]: The town did not vanish.
1:01:42
[SPEAKER_05]: The arm did not forget how to throw what change is what repeated trauma does to time me, to trust in your own body, to the little half-second of quarterback lives in.
1:01:53
[SPEAKER_05]: He has been through documented concussions that the whole country saw, including the ones that forced the lead to look at it itself.
1:02:02
[SPEAKER_05]: And he is still carrying that after life.
1:02:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Different city now, same brain.
1:02:08
[SPEAKER_05]: If you think a man walks out of that, out of that clean, because he can still drop back.
1:02:14
[SPEAKER_05]: You can have you have never had the lights cut out.
1:02:17
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.
1:02:18
[SPEAKER_05]: It's just this important right here.
1:02:20
[SPEAKER_05]: You think a man can walk out of that clean because he can still draw back.
1:02:23
[SPEAKER_05]: You'll never had the lights cut out of you on a Sunday day unless you have dealt with a South Florida hurricane which we've seen that before.
1:02:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Man's want to, you know, want the hero version.
1:02:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Get hit, wipe the blood, win the game.
1:02:40
[SPEAKER_05]: quote something tough, that version is commercial.
1:02:43
[SPEAKER_05]: The real version is a quarterback trying to find the hash marks while it's equilibrium is lying to him.
1:02:49
[SPEAKER_05]: The real version is a receiver who can hear the call and not quite catch the words.
1:02:54
[SPEAKER_05]: The real version is going home after a clear game and sitting in the dark room because the kitchen light feels like a helmet to helmet.
1:03:02
[SPEAKER_05]: All you want is darkness again.
1:03:05
[SPEAKER_05]: So here's what I'm trying to tell you.
1:03:08
[SPEAKER_05]: You players brace after traumatic brain events.
1:03:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Not fake grace, not gossip prayers, under quite a quote, tweet, call on him, watched.
1:03:18
[SPEAKER_05]: actual grace, lower the temperature, way to week before you bury a man's season.
1:03:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Understand that clearing your return is a medical threshold, not a personality transplant, and teams protect these players to themselves.
1:03:33
[SPEAKER_05]: That is the part the building still gets wrong.
1:03:37
[SPEAKER_05]: The player will always say he's ready.
1:03:39
[SPEAKER_05]: I said it, heard said he's fine, he felt fine.
1:03:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Every competitor in that locker room
1:03:46
[SPEAKER_05]: to stand a series, that is not bravery in the way people think, that is a job eating a person, coaches, trainers, independent spotters, owners, your job is to be the dull in the room when the player cannot be, sitting, even when he hates you for it, sitting, even when the backup throws a pick, sitting, even when the crowd starts to chant, the
1:04:15
[SPEAKER_05]: I tried to tell you all, we were still calling it getting this bell room.
1:04:21
[SPEAKER_05]: I tried to tell you all, when the report lists it back instead of head, I tried to tell you all, when the sun went out, on Miami afternoon, and I lying back up again, the game will take the rest of you if you let it.
1:04:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Do not cheer for that part.
1:04:38
[SPEAKER_05]: I know no one cares, Nick Seth.
1:04:46
[SPEAKER_06]: Good stuff, man.
1:04:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Very powerful.
1:04:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Jews man, if I can interject something real quick, Jews, that that's excellent.
1:04:53
[SPEAKER_02]: And it makes me think of shop Robinson, five concussions, three in the last 11 months.
1:04:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's all I want to say.
1:04:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
1:04:59
[SPEAKER_02]: That's deep stuff, Jews.
1:05:00
[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, I'm going to take it with the way I approach writing about this stuff now, because I'm going to hear in my head when I'm sitting down and trying to compute it like this stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff,
1:05:15
[SPEAKER_05]: It's, I mean, I can tell if I can handle them then, you know, we're so conditioned to be tough dudes, man, but we're stupid at the same time and then sometimes we need protective from ourselves and a lot of time organizations don't do so.
1:05:30
[SPEAKER_05]: How some organizations let a player get back in with an independent guy.
1:05:35
[SPEAKER_05]: On the sideline nowadays, we didn't have it independent guy, on the sideline, you know, big talks were a good, we felt we were a good and we had to get back out there and people get mad when you're not the same person you get back out to you.
1:05:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Don't, are you kidding me, you know what I mean?
1:05:50
[SPEAKER_05]: It's a mess, man.
1:05:51
[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, Brian, I appreciate that man.
1:05:53
[SPEAKER_05]: And Perk, I know you talk a lot of these dudes, man, that go through a two man and they're not going to be the same.
1:05:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Two was not the same.
1:06:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Two was a really good quarterback and he was a senior.
1:06:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:06:03
[SPEAKER_05]: They, he wasn't.
1:06:04
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
1:06:05
[SPEAKER_02]: And we, we, we started a Brown and they saved us in a perfect.
1:06:09
[SPEAKER_02]: We saw him tell you a Brown in court today.
1:06:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:06:12
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
1:06:12
[SPEAKER_00]: And then you look what happened last weekend with US severs or guys more I don't think he's ever going to play one more snap again.
1:06:24
[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, on that level, he's gonna go right to the draft.
1:06:27
[SPEAKER_00]: Like he's not gonna sort of begin for Oregon just too much risk involved.
1:06:30
[SPEAKER_00]: Too much money involved when you're gonna be a top whatever pick like that was scary put a sight of the kids I see out there celebrating dance.
1:06:37
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know about it.
1:06:38
[SPEAKER_00]: But that's him.
1:06:40
[SPEAKER_00]: But that hit and as soon as that hit took place The medical people who ran out on that field and lightning fast time Does show there's been progress here and how these things are handled, but yeah everything is said to us
1:06:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I'm gonna tell you this pseudo mic.
1:06:53
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm gonna tell you this too, Mike and everybody.
1:06:55
[SPEAKER_05]: These things don't go away, man.
1:06:56
[SPEAKER_05]: They add up.
1:06:57
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you say add up.
1:06:58
[SPEAKER_05]: And now that's gonna be a mark.
1:07:00
[SPEAKER_05]: That.
1:07:02
[SPEAKER_05]: That's going to be a mark on his medical going into the draft.
1:07:06
[SPEAKER_05]: So everybody thought he was going to be a certain draft.
1:07:09
[SPEAKER_05]: That's going to be a big mark on his draft status.
1:07:11
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm telling you that right now.
1:07:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
1:07:13
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I mean, the same way that, you know, if they're probably learning from, like, what happened with two of us?
1:07:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
1:07:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
1:07:20
[SPEAKER_05]: And they're going to learn from those things.
1:07:23
[SPEAKER_05]: It's a bad mark a lot of times.
1:07:26
[SPEAKER_06]: Good stuff.
1:07:27
[SPEAKER_06]: Really good stuff, Jews.
1:07:28
[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you very much for that.
1:07:30
[SPEAKER_06]: We will perk a lot following that one, but you are up next, my friend.
1:07:34
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, perk no pressure.
1:07:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no pressure at all, no pressure at all.
1:07:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, I tried to tell you, it's gonna be interesting to see than getting a no Jeff Hathley.
1:07:43
[SPEAKER_02]: It's gonna be interesting for Jeff Hathley to get to know this job.
1:07:47
[SPEAKER_02]: We just saw an example of it on Monday, right?
1:07:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Half-com then looks at the crowd.
1:07:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Is this it?
1:07:53
[SPEAKER_02]: And this thing's on viral.
1:07:55
[SPEAKER_02]: half is going to have to learn that this is not green day where you have 20 people at every press conference winter lose because here the world champion panthers are starting up the heat with yannas are starting up if you win is right down the road they have championship post it's not the same but half is going to have to learn that
1:08:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, half not telling us which knee is injured for Devon HN is part of us getting to know half.
1:08:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I think half is intensely competitive, super competitive, and even telling us which knee Devon HN injured last week.
1:08:32
[SPEAKER_02]: gives the advantage to the opponent somehow.
1:08:35
[SPEAKER_02]: I think he thinks that he won't let us see his starting lineup on the field might make Daniel always showed us the starting lineup just knowing that we aren't going to put it out there, but half won't do that.
1:08:47
[SPEAKER_02]: He's that competitive maybe he doesn't trust us, maybe he's smart.
1:08:51
[SPEAKER_02]: He's that competitive.
1:08:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, there's a lot of things and at the same time though, half will tell us a lot of time before practice.
1:09:00
[SPEAKER_02]: This guy is not practicing.
1:09:01
[SPEAKER_02]: He told us today, Taylor Douglas is not practicing.
1:09:04
[SPEAKER_02]: He told us Robert Beale is not practicing.
1:09:07
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a this whole process of getting a no Jeff half Lee.
1:09:11
[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be interesting this season.
1:09:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll say this also about half to wrap this up very quickly.
1:09:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I like the fact.
1:09:19
[SPEAKER_02]: that have competitiveness said we still want to be a run first team, even in the face of that nabon HN injury.
1:09:28
[SPEAKER_02]: I like the fact that half did not say well we need Malik Willis to do more.
1:09:34
[SPEAKER_02]: He said we need our offensive line to do more.
1:09:36
[SPEAKER_02]: We still want to be a run first game.
1:09:38
[SPEAKER_02]: We need the run game to do more.
1:09:40
[SPEAKER_02]: We expect the next man up to be the next man up.
1:09:44
[SPEAKER_02]: I'd like that he didn't say Malik, more is on you, you have to run more, you have to throw more.
1:09:52
[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to stick to his guns.
1:09:54
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to be very interested to see if this continues for the next four weeks, the next five weeks, but it's all a part of getting to know Jeff Hathley.
1:10:03
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's going to be a very, very interesting process on a lot of levels.
1:10:08
[SPEAKER_02]: I try to tell you.
1:10:14
[SPEAKER_06]: I got a lot of thoughts there, some of which might have to happen after we've seen the end of the show.
1:10:19
[SPEAKER_06]: But yeah, really good stuff.
1:10:20
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, gentlemen, I tried to tell you all.
1:10:23
[SPEAKER_06]: that the Miami Dolphins had to select Ruben Bane in the first round of the 20-26 NFL draft.
1:10:30
[SPEAKER_06]: I screamed it from the mountaintops, or at least with a mountain-doin hand, and on every draft related podcast that I could find.
1:10:38
[SPEAKER_06]: And when John Eric Sullivan traded back one spot, so the Cowboys could snack Caleb Downs, I just knew he was about to make my dreams come true.
1:10:46
[SPEAKER_06]: but then it happened.
1:10:48
[SPEAKER_06]: Just as I was ordering my Dolphins Banger's and appearing live on this very channel with our friend Michael Leva, I got a text from a certain Hall of Fame defense event, turned defensive line coach, who just so happened to be with the Bane family and Chad Van Horn in Pittsburgh and he bred her name.
1:11:06
[SPEAKER_06]: on my text message that simply was not on my bingo card, and that name was Caden Broctor.
1:11:12
[SPEAKER_06]: Mike can attest to the fact that I was sick to my son.
1:11:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he was big mad.
1:11:17
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
1:11:18
[SPEAKER_06]: Hell, I hadn't been this upset on the drafts first day since the Dalton's past on Brady Quinn to draft my great rogue neighbors in the game family.
1:11:27
[SPEAKER_06]: But perhaps that should have been a lesson right now by no means have I given up on Ruben bane I'm still convinced that he is too talented to driven and he's damn sure too well coach not to be a great player But clearly he isn't there yet and three games should not define any career or any draft But if the season were to end today
1:11:48
[SPEAKER_06]: It won't.
1:11:49
[SPEAKER_06]: Caden Proctor is an all rookie performer, and Bain is just an afterthought.
1:11:53
[SPEAKER_06]: Again, I'm a believer in Bain, but I am now more than ever Also a believer in John Erick Sullivan in his vision for this team.
1:12:01
[SPEAKER_06]: He wants to build from the inside out.
1:12:03
[SPEAKER_06]: He wants large men who can play Billy Ball and Dick Billy Ball.
1:12:08
[SPEAKER_06]: Sorry, University of Florida reference there.
1:12:09
[SPEAKER_06]: Who can play?
1:12:10
[SPEAKER_06]: Holy Ball and damn it if he didn't find a bully in Caden Proctor.
1:12:14
[SPEAKER_06]: The proctor of the protector is beating up on grown ass men, just three games in his career.
1:12:21
[SPEAKER_06]: And clearly, the sky is the limit.
1:12:23
[SPEAKER_06]: Will he spend the rest of the season much less of his career as an overdrafted guard, perhaps?
1:12:28
[SPEAKER_06]: Will he grow into an all-proper former at guard or tackle?
1:12:31
[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe all signs point to that being his trajectory someday.
1:12:35
[SPEAKER_06]: Will he help the Miami Dolphins pass rush?
1:12:38
[SPEAKER_06]: Only if you give you a part of an offense that's finally playing with a lead, rather than trying to make up ground weak after weak, but one thing he won't do is disappoint.
1:12:46
[SPEAKER_06]: I tried to tell you all the Miami Dolphins needed to draft Ruben Bane, and I'm still trying to tell you they need a premiere past Russia in the 2027 draft, but one thing I did not try to tell you, but I should have, is that Caden Proctor is an absolute moller, and the Miami Dolphins are better because of it.
1:13:03
[SPEAKER_06]: I try to tell y'all.
1:13:04
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
1:13:06
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not happy.
1:13:07
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:07
[SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
1:13:08
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:08
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:09
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:10
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:10
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:11
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:12
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:12
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:13
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:14
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:14
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:15
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:16
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:16
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:17
[SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
1:13:18
[SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
1:13:19
[SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
1:13:19
[SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
1:13:20
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:21
[SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
1:13:21
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:22
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:23
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:23
[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
1:13:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Man, man, what are you going to do?
1:13:28
[SPEAKER_05]: So, I would say, fix that.
1:13:30
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I like the fact that, man, you, you, you, he is going to be good.
1:13:36
[SPEAKER_05]: But it wasn't something we needed right now, maybe, but, you know, there for a lot to build it up big inside.
1:13:43
[SPEAKER_05]: And then we'll figure out the rest later, man.
1:13:45
[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, I'm with you on that road, but that Canadian Parker thing is working out really well for us.
1:13:49
[SPEAKER_05]: Not so perfect, feels the same way probably that.
1:13:52
[SPEAKER_05]: One day is not going to the right side.
1:13:54
[SPEAKER_05]: We have these two anchors.
1:13:57
[SPEAKER_05]: That could be really, really impressive for a decade here in Miami.
1:14:01
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, no doubt about it as you would say.
1:14:03
[SPEAKER_05]: You can fill in the rest, fill the rest in.
1:14:07
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, for sure.
1:14:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Let me add a quick footnote to the show to get back to something earlier, y'all were talking about Austin Jackson and flow.
1:14:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I did ask Austin Jackson about flow today, but it really didn't get a reaction.
1:14:21
[SPEAKER_02]: I was asking about the idea.
1:14:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I did.
1:14:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I asked them about the flame under having played under flow, give you any insight into how the man thinks
1:14:30
[SPEAKER_06]: you'll sneak you at it.
1:14:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I wasn't trying to be an asshole, you know, I've been known to do that sometimes, but he did, there was, there was no, and AJ is AJ is a class act.
1:14:41
[SPEAKER_02]: He's one of my guys.
1:14:42
[SPEAKER_02]: He's one of the players who solved me by name.
1:14:45
[SPEAKER_02]: So, but there were just people, he, there was no reaction.
1:14:49
[SPEAKER_02]: There was no screw flow.
1:14:51
[SPEAKER_02]: I hope we run in his ass over.
1:14:56
[SPEAKER_05]: You didn't know what Pastor Paul did in your video.
1:14:58
[SPEAKER_02]: We're next copy.
1:14:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
1:14:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:15:01
[SPEAKER_02]: He's not here.
1:15:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, can you match the path?
1:15:03
[SPEAKER_06]: Paul doesn't get too much, boys.
1:15:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Don't look like that.
1:15:08
[SPEAKER_06]: Can you imagine a pat Paul did it again, AJ?
1:15:11
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, man.
1:15:12
[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to have AJ's back this week.
1:15:14
[SPEAKER_06]: That would be messed up.
1:15:17
[SPEAKER_06]: That would be absolutely messed up.
1:15:19
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, great show tonight.
1:15:21
[SPEAKER_06]: Great job.
1:15:21
[SPEAKER_06]: Everybody choose some really, really like that.
1:15:23
[SPEAKER_06]: That was powerful.
1:15:24
[SPEAKER_06]: We got a Savak.
1:15:25
[SPEAKER_06]: We got a pack of something up.
1:15:26
[SPEAKER_06]: That was a great.
1:15:27
[SPEAKER_06]: It was a great piece of juice did.
1:15:29
[SPEAKER_06]: I also want to thank Brian Miller for being a guest for.
1:15:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you, bro.
1:15:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Nice to meet you, Brian.
1:15:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Appreciate you, man.
1:15:34
[SPEAKER_04]: Pleasure being on here.
1:15:35
[SPEAKER_04]: I feel very honored to be amongst you guys a watcher.
1:15:39
[SPEAKER_04]: We got to get you all more often, man.
1:15:40
[SPEAKER_04]: Everybody else.
1:15:41
[SPEAKER_04]: Everybody do man and shed as well.
1:15:44
[SPEAKER_04]: Chris, I'm just going to say this.
1:15:45
[SPEAKER_04]: OK, I've been reading your stuff for years, man.
1:15:49
[SPEAKER_04]: And I appreciate what you do.
1:15:51
[SPEAKER_04]: And I know things aren't real good down there with the local media.
1:15:54
[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, I know some of those guys, you know, I've met him many times and I'm glad to see that you're still hanging around and covering this team.
1:16:01
[SPEAKER_04]: You do a great job and for guys like me, I write from a fans perspective or try to.
1:16:06
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not media.
1:16:06
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't break news, although I learned a lesson all the time.
1:16:09
[SPEAKER_04]: And you don't break news.
1:16:11
[SPEAKER_04]: But I love to get like you and then kind of, you know, take that opinion so appreciate everything you do.
1:16:17
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I appreciate you, Brian.
1:16:18
[SPEAKER_02]: I appreciate that.
1:16:19
[SPEAKER_02]: So good.
1:16:19
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to stuff it thin for that.
1:16:21
[SPEAKER_02]: I got no reason to do so much love.
1:16:22
