- 0:02Speaker 1: of the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Hey what up man? And fuck you motorcycle guy?
- 0:42Speaker 1: What I do? I just got here?
- 0:44Speaker 2: You the guy outside driving around like it's a beautiful
- 0:48Speaker 2: summer day or some ship?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Right, Like how nerves.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Nerve of these people to drive their shitty motorcycles past
- 0:56Speaker 2: our past our shack where someone owns an awesome motorcycle.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Seems pretty I was talking about you this time. You
- 1:06Speaker 2: can compenty you, okay, So you know if i'm company you, you
- 1:09Speaker 2: know it's you, because I would never compliment any other
- 1:12Speaker 2: motorcycle driver because I hate them all. So just just
- 1:18Speaker 2: memories of trying to record the audio boccaneer, just like
- 1:22Speaker 2: having to shut up every time there's a motorcycle, and
- 1:24Speaker 2: then every now and then there'd be a fucking convoy
- 1:27Speaker 2: of them, and I just want to run out and
- 1:30Speaker 2: scream and everybody, Oh the fuck home? People live here?
- 1:35Speaker 2: You pieces of ship? You know, like they were bothering
- 1:38Speaker 2: more than just a recording. They really weren't. But anyway, Hi,
- 1:44Speaker 2: welcome to I have a lot of hate in me
- 1:46Speaker 2: that I got I gotta let out. Oh, it's been
- 1:49Speaker 2: a bad bad, bad, fucking week. So we're doing it
- 1:53Speaker 2: just a chill show because fuck everything else. Honestly, yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 2: I didn't have it in me to make up games.
- 2:00Speaker 2: It just I was like, nope, fuck that. I hate everything.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I hate my job. I hate it so much. It's
- 2:09Speaker 2: just it's gotten to be so bad.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Now your supervisor guy left.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, well yeah, I mean I picked up the slack,
- 2:17Speaker 2: but they just keep handing me more fucking slack, and
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm like, I there's no more room for slack. I
- 2:22Speaker 2: got nothing. I'm sorry, that's just gonna start falling off.
- 2:26Speaker 3: They see, oh, he can handle.
- 2:27Speaker 2: It, And now the motherfuckers had the goddamn nerve to
- 2:31Speaker 2: ask me. He's like, Yo, if we got this thing
- 2:34Speaker 2: that we'd like to do ourselves on the cheap, you know,
- 2:37Speaker 2: they want to charge like two grand for it, but
- 2:39Speaker 2: if you do it in two days, like by Tuesday,
- 2:43Speaker 2: we'll give you two hundred bucks as a bonus. I'm like, oh,
- 2:46Speaker 2: a tenth of what the other company. I'm like, Jesus,
- 2:52Speaker 2: I'm like I had to. I had to stop myself
- 2:58Speaker 2: from like like this is a guy who like is
- 3:02Speaker 2: is genuinely like stepped up to take a lot of
- 3:06Speaker 2: the fire for everything's going on right now. So I
- 3:09Speaker 2: was trying not to be mean to him, but I mean,
- 3:11Speaker 2: I swear to god, I was this close to just going,
- 3:13Speaker 2: are you fucking insane? Like I am? And then he
- 3:19Speaker 2: had the nerve to say, well, you know you can
- 3:20Speaker 2: always you know, do it in your off hours and
- 3:22Speaker 2: in your in your personal time. And I was like,
- 3:24Speaker 2: fuck no, fuck that is that is my away from
- 3:30Speaker 2: fuck work time? Like no, fuck no, absolutely not.
- 3:34Speaker 4: When your job start saying no, in your free time
- 3:37Speaker 4: at home, do more work, that's when you're like, that's
- 3:39Speaker 4: what you tell him to go fuck them.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I decided a long time ago that I was never
- 3:46Speaker 2: going to sacrifice my happiness for work.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It was just never gonna.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Shouldn't You should not do that.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Ever, it's hard too because like sometimes.
- 3:52Speaker 3: I didn't and I found a place that works for me.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Yeah, well I need to find a place that works
- 3:58Speaker 2: for me because.
- 3:59Speaker 3: It's out there.
- 4:01Speaker 1: For the security absolutely had it type internet word jumbo
- 4:06Speaker 1: programming thing. Did you go for that security fucking test
- 4:09Speaker 1: or some ship?
- 4:10Speaker 2: Like, I mean, I have CompTIA security plus. It doesn't
- 4:13Speaker 2: get me anything, It doesn't really certify me for anything
- 4:17Speaker 2: at best, I might be able to get like an
- 4:20Speaker 2: entry level uh security analyst position, which would be fucking
- 4:27Speaker 2: about what I'm making now. If not less, but with
- 4:30Speaker 2: less assholes, maybe could be even more assholes.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Unfortunately, What do you want to.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Live in America? The land of assholes?
- 4:41Speaker 5: Yes?
- 4:42Speaker 2: Fuck my god, damn, it's a it's a what would
- 4:48Speaker 2: you like to do?
- 4:49Speaker 1: That's the real What would.
- 4:50Speaker 2: I like to?
- 4:51Speaker 1: What would you like to do?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Uh? What would I like to do? Fucking hell, I'd
- 4:57Speaker 2: like to do this. I'd like to see my books.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I'd like to I'd like to do fucking anything. Like,
- 5:03Speaker 2: here's the problem. Like, I have like three skills in life.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Like one is collecting game machines and customizing them and
- 5:12Speaker 2: then not selling them. Last part, wonder one is uh
- 5:22Speaker 2: like collecting board games and and and playing them. If
- 5:26Speaker 2: that's a skill, I don't think so, but whatever, I
- 5:30Speaker 2: have a very large pile of very good games, Like
- 5:32Speaker 2: there's not a bad game in that pole stack. I'm
- 5:36Speaker 2: very very proud of that. And the third is like
- 5:39Speaker 2: inventing games for people to play on the spot, uh,
- 5:43Speaker 2: social games in particular, because that's where I've been focused
- 5:46Speaker 2: the last five or so years. But you know before
- 5:49Speaker 2: that I used to actually like program ship, you know,
- 5:52Speaker 2: make actual like PC games back in the day when
- 5:55Speaker 2: I was in college. Uh, trouble is, like, you know,
- 6:00Speaker 2: even if that was something I wanted to get into,
- 6:02Speaker 2: like to actually write a game and put it on
- 6:04Speaker 2: Steam and sell it or some shit, like, the indie
- 6:07Speaker 2: market is so unbelievably glutted right now that it is.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I mean, it is an absolute nightmare to try and
- 6:13Speaker 2: stand out and get any eyeballs on anything you're doing.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And unfortunately the same is true for the book industry.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Like I need my I need one of my books
- 6:22Speaker 2: to go viral for me to have a chance at
- 6:24Speaker 2: for me too early, like to to very early get
- 6:29Speaker 2: a like a like a a full time amount of
- 6:34Speaker 2: money for it where I could survive without my job.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Otherwise you're looking at writing like twenty books before you're
- 6:41Speaker 2: making the kind of money regularly constantly that you could
- 6:45Speaker 2: take your job and shove it. Ah. So I need
- 6:48Speaker 2: to become immensely popular somehow, And that is a trick
- 6:52Speaker 2: I never once learned in high school. No, fuck no,
- 6:57Speaker 2: was not coupler at all, absolutely not.
- 7:00Speaker 1: We were friends.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Loads of people liked me, but like four people were like,
- 7:04Speaker 2: let's hang out, and four out of two thousand in
- 7:07Speaker 2: that fucking high school not good eyes, just saying.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Yeah, so about the quantity, Well, yes, I was very lucky.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I treated high school like Pokemon.
- 7:25Speaker 2: So yeah. So I spent last night alone in my apartment,
- 7:29Speaker 2: very depressed. I couldn't figure out anything to do, and
- 7:31Speaker 2: I eventually just went to sleep. Oh sorry, man, I
- 7:34Speaker 2: spent all night just watching season three of the Floor
- 7:38Speaker 2: so I could see Brian o'haleran's run.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Oh. I was like.
- 7:41Speaker 2: We talked about it at one point and I was like,
- 7:43Speaker 2: you know what, I wish I could see it, and
- 7:45Speaker 2: thank god I can. Somebody somebody pirated the whole thing
- 7:49Speaker 2: and put it on YouTube so you can watch the
- 7:51Speaker 2: whole season. It doesn't matter. I can't believe it's there,
- 7:55Speaker 2: to be honest, I thought Fox would have been like, no,
- 7:58Speaker 2: but you Fox doesn't give Fox Apparently all they have
- 8:02Speaker 2: to do is a d C M A like.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Did you see the Fox twenty Yeah?
- 8:07Speaker 4: Did you see when the Borderlands movie was on YouTube
- 8:10Speaker 4: for like three full days?
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 8:13Speaker 3: High definition four?
- 8:16Speaker 2: Like are you serious? I was gonna it was like
- 8:18Speaker 2: I was about to be like, who the funk? Would
- 8:20Speaker 2: he watch that it was.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Horrible exactly, But I was like, we got to watch
- 8:24Speaker 4: it from I was like, and the fact that they
- 8:27Speaker 4: didn't take it down for like.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I was like, this has got to be I was
- 8:31Speaker 1: have a hundred thousand views in the first hour, Oh
- 8:33Speaker 1: this is real. Yeah right, it was pretty insane.
- 8:36Speaker 3: It was unbelievable.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Yes, and the movie we.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Should put your ass on believable and we're like, yo,
- 8:43Speaker 1: you need a host. We got one.
- 8:45Speaker 2: For a while there, I had a dream of running
- 8:47Speaker 2: like blood on the clock Tower games for like extra
- 8:50Speaker 2: extra money, for extra cash. Problem is, I've only done
- 8:53Speaker 2: it like three times, so I can't really call myself
- 8:55Speaker 2: a professional do it more. I would love to, I
- 8:57Speaker 2: can't get a big enough crowd of people together to
- 8:59Speaker 2: play the damn game I'll play.
- 9:01Speaker 1: It's the one you guess who's the murderer? Is right,
- 9:03Speaker 1: like Secret Hitler.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Kind of, except everybody has different powers, so you would
- 9:10Speaker 2: get different information than somebody else. And of course there's
- 9:12Speaker 2: bad guys who are gonna lie to you. Yeah blah
- 9:14Speaker 2: blah blah. But the good news is even if you
- 9:16Speaker 2: get killed, you lose your power, but you can still
- 9:19Speaker 2: vote to get the bad guy out. Oh just once. Yeah,
- 9:21Speaker 2: it's a really cool game.
- 9:23Speaker 1: On the try it, Like, I'm not going to be good,
- 9:24Speaker 1: but I don't playing games like that to be good,
- 9:27Speaker 1: don't well.
- 9:28Speaker 2: To be fair. I don't even know if that's like
- 9:30Speaker 2: a sustainable, manageable thing. I don't know if people pay
- 9:33Speaker 2: money to like I know people pay money to get
- 9:36Speaker 2: d ms to d M. Yeah, like to get games going.
- 9:39Speaker 2: That is the thing you can absolutely do.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I bet you can, man, if you just throw it
- 9:42Speaker 1: on there. I guarantee you you need a host for
- 9:45Speaker 1: your podcast, do some games.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I just like gotta start like working on my
- 9:50Speaker 2: side hustle, because my main hustle sucks. Balls. God, it's awful.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I mean it was. It was it to begin with.
- 9:59Speaker 2: You know, it was never going to be you know,
- 10:01Speaker 2: joy It was never gonna be joyous. It is kind
- 10:05Speaker 2: of a thankless sort of thing, but you know it.
- 10:11Speaker 2: It pays the bills. It keeps me in my shitty
- 10:15Speaker 2: one bedder apartment but with no pets, which I also
- 10:22Speaker 2: very much want.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Is a house for a sail down the road.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Down the road, I'll take a look five houses down,
- 10:28Speaker 2: probably probably way the fuck out of my price range, but.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Can't hurt the look. Yeah, the one next door sold
- 10:34Speaker 1: for what a hundred and fifty thousand less than they
- 10:37Speaker 1: put it up for Jesus Yeah, I mean it was
- 10:41Speaker 1: a family member who bought it.
- 10:42Speaker 2: But still, okay, fucking Jesus Christ, thanks for trying to
- 10:46Speaker 2: get my hopes up.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Not that bad here.
- 10:49Speaker 2: It just seems like it seems like losing. It just
- 10:52Speaker 2: seems like a losing proposition to try and get a
- 10:54Speaker 2: house in this economy, Like.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Yeah, they they I think house in mar And for
- 11:02Speaker 5: what I'm said, it's not a lack of housing availability,
- 11:05Speaker 5: it's fucking costs.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it's way too expensive.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Stupid people asking too much for what it is. But
- 11:12Speaker 3: that's because people need the money.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and then the property tax here is dumb.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Because the place that they're moving in is going to
- 11:18Speaker 2: be ridiculous.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so ridiculous.
- 11:20Speaker 4: There's no point in really moving because there's going to
- 11:22Speaker 4: move to the same situation in a new place. Right,
- 11:26Speaker 4: it may positionally be in a better place, but financially no.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I like being in better positions.
- 11:34Speaker 2: So yeah, on top of work being a giant pain
- 11:37Speaker 2: in the ass this week and just getting worse as
- 11:40Speaker 2: the week went on. I was supposed to get a
- 11:45Speaker 2: package on Thursday, and the delivery driver left it out
- 11:49Speaker 2: front of my fucking apartment building, the side the front,
- 11:53Speaker 2: the side that faces the road, a very busy road,
- 11:56Speaker 2: might add where any asshole driving by. I could see
- 11:59Speaker 2: that some bitch and some porch pirate yuh stole it,
- 12:03Speaker 2: because it was gone by the time I got there. Uh.
- 12:05Speaker 2: They even sent me pictures to prove that they'd left
- 12:07Speaker 2: it in this completely irresponsible place. I could not believe
- 12:12Speaker 2: that this wasn't a real delivery company like I was,
- 12:15Speaker 2: like any delivery company worth their salt would be. Even
- 12:18Speaker 2: even if even if the the the address did not
- 12:21Speaker 2: have like an apartment number on it, you can tell
- 12:25Speaker 2: that's a fucking apartment building. Like if you're that, if
- 12:28Speaker 2: you're that fucking close to the building, you should see
- 12:31Speaker 2: the parking lot behind it, the shipload of cars. You
- 12:34Speaker 2: should see the other buildings all lined up in the
- 12:36Speaker 2: road next to it, all with parking lots full of cars,
- 12:39Speaker 2: And you should go, whoever lives in this house has
- 12:43Speaker 2: a shipload of cars and save for the next seven houses.
- 12:48Speaker 2: And I'm just like, how fucking stupid is this person
- 12:51Speaker 2: to just leave the house.
- 12:52Speaker 3: It really weird. The has like this really.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Multiple closed doors different and there's.
- 13:02Speaker 3: A staircase that goes up to the same where is
- 13:04Speaker 3: their bathroom?
- 13:06Speaker 1: His it skills Now that look at this driver's name
- 13:09Speaker 1: on the receipt, he's tracked of down. He's like, I'm
- 13:11Speaker 1: gonna get my package bag, motherfucker. He's doing like a
- 13:14Speaker 1: fucking Liam Neeson. After this dude, I got a particular
- 13:18Speaker 1: set of skills.
- 13:21Speaker 2: This guy. No, I I let him have it. I
- 13:24Speaker 2: was I was furious.
- 13:27Speaker 1: No.
- 13:27Speaker 2: They sent me an email with all the pictures of
- 13:29Speaker 2: this bullshit, and I just I just sent an email
- 13:32Speaker 2: back out was like one star. I would have given
- 13:35Speaker 2: you zero stars if I could have. By the time
- 13:37Speaker 2: I got there, it was gone naturally because you put
- 13:39Speaker 2: it in the stupidest possible place that anyone could imagine.
- 13:44Speaker 2: And I'm honestly impressed at your stupidity, because that's all
- 13:47Speaker 2: That's a level of dumb I have not seen in years.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Like he works with me, even like even like other
- 13:54Speaker 2: like like low level like tiny like the delivery companies
- 13:58Speaker 2: who have occasionally had to drop things off here are
- 14:01Speaker 2: smart enough to go to the back door and just
- 14:04Speaker 2: put it inside, like, oh, it's unbelievable. I was just
- 14:09Speaker 2: I was furious. Thankfully, thankfully I had paid like the
- 14:15Speaker 2: four dollars fifty for shipping protection. Oh gee, So I
- 14:19Speaker 2: put in a claim. They're sending me another one, and
- 14:22Speaker 2: I begged them. I was like, please make sure it
- 14:24Speaker 2: has the apartment on number on it. Please include instructions
- 14:28Speaker 2: to either leave at my actual apartment door or just
- 14:31Speaker 2: inside the back door. Either is fine, but out in
- 14:35Speaker 2: front is not.
- 14:38Speaker 1: That's fucking stupid, like somebody who obviously doesn't give a
- 14:44Speaker 1: fuck about their job.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I mean that it has to be like a company
- 14:49Speaker 2: owned by one guy and like his son, and his
- 14:52Speaker 2: son hates it and and him I'm gonna do the
- 14:58Speaker 2: stupidest fucking thing imaginable and just fucking just drowned this company.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Speaking up, I ended that letter with I'm not doing
- 15:08Speaker 2: any business with any company that does business with you.
- 15:12Speaker 2: So I'm taking this full fucking seriously. If I see
- 15:14Speaker 2: your name attached anywhere, not buying from that person yet.
- 15:20Speaker 2: So yeah, So that that was bad on top of
- 15:23Speaker 2: everything else that was already bad. I do have some good.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Though, Okay, good I.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Did not people not all ship It's not all ship.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I did get a passport.
- 15:36Speaker 1: You got a passport?
- 15:37Speaker 2: Yes, I actually did get a passport where you go.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I applied for it about a month ago, just to
- 15:41Speaker 2: make sure I had it, because it seemed a preferable
- 15:45Speaker 2: alternative to the real I d bullshit.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Okay, but you already got a real id well, I
- 15:51Speaker 1: have enhanced I.
- 15:53Speaker 2: It's the same thing.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Special they included all in one.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Okay, good because we go over the.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Well it then when it when it looked very much
- 16:06Speaker 2: like and it could still go this way, when it
- 16:08Speaker 2: looked very much like America was headed for civil war,
- 16:11Speaker 2: it just seemed like a smart idea to have it.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Just seemed like a smart idea to have it. So
- 16:17Speaker 2: if anything goes south and I.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Need to, I could just go fuck that, I'm shooting
- 16:22Speaker 1: some mother.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I mean part of me, part of me MP. But
- 16:28Speaker 2: I'm like I me and guns do not mix. Me
- 16:31Speaker 2: and guns do not miss. I'm ready bad things happen,
- 16:35Speaker 2: I just don't. So it was like, no, I know
- 16:39Speaker 2: my place, it is not here, you know, like, I'll
- 16:42Speaker 2: do it t for the resistance, I mean Jesus Christ.
- 16:45Speaker 2: And so I actually have I got both the book
- 16:50Speaker 2: and the card card only works for like land borders,
- 16:54Speaker 2: so Canada and Mexico and that's it. Oh yeah, but
- 16:57Speaker 2: the but the book works everywhere.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Which is that's allowed.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's very cool and I'm very glad I
- 17:03Speaker 2: have it.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Well, now do you have it? I think you should
- 17:06Speaker 1: get a passport?
- 17:08Speaker 2: Are you the only one who doesn't have one?
- 17:10Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 17:10Speaker 2: My license this year. It's not that hard. It's really
- 17:13Speaker 2: bad simple, it's actually mad simple. It just takes like
- 17:16Speaker 2: two weeks, three weeks something like watch it.
- 17:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you just get your birth certificate, You print out
- 17:24Speaker 2: a form which like you know, either of us can
- 17:26Speaker 2: handle for you, and you know, you just fill it
- 17:29Speaker 2: out with all the stuff and if anything's missing, the
- 17:32Speaker 2: guy at the post office will tell you and you
- 17:34Speaker 2: just make an appointment at the post office. You show up.
- 17:36Speaker 2: It's like five to ten minutes. It wasn't very long.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Dude took my picture for me. Oh really the b No,
- 17:43Speaker 2: I didn't have to. He took my picture for him.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I got an old picture from my old passport when
- 17:47Speaker 1: had like the blonde, speaky hair.
- 17:49Speaker 2: It's horrifically bad. I might actually still have it. It
- 17:53Speaker 2: should be very cool if I do towards the camp.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I won't this crap. I might not have it with me.
- 18:02Speaker 2: I think I might have taken it out of my pocket.
- 18:04Speaker 1: It's awesome because now now now this opens up opportunities
- 18:08Speaker 1: to go other places.
- 18:09Speaker 2: There are things I can now do that we're not
- 18:11Speaker 2: even on the table before there.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Where are we going? Oh oh good?
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Hell yeah? Show the camera sure, go ahead, or if
- 18:21Speaker 1: I can switch it. I can't. There you can see
- 18:23Speaker 1: it the kind of now I'm gonna blow it up.
- 18:25Speaker 3: It's gonna be up, and it's just gonna be all whitewashed,
- 18:29Speaker 3: and now I'm just gonna leave.
- 18:30Speaker 1: It's a cube. You guys didn't even do it.
- 18:32Speaker 2: He didn't get a past.
- 18:33Speaker 1: He's not going anywhere.
- 18:35Speaker 3: It's all just super imposed something else instead.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Yeah, right to be wild. So yeah, so that happens,
- 18:45Speaker 2: And now I have a passport, which is cool.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Fu yeah, dude, congratulations, a lot of new things this
- 18:49Speaker 1: sugar glasses your passport. Wait a minute, are you trying
- 18:53Speaker 1: to get a new identity and leave us? Try to
- 18:56Speaker 1: get our men't.
- 19:00Speaker 2: The thought had occurred to me even harder as soon
- 19:02Speaker 2: as this bullshit weeks started. So if I got offered
- 19:07Speaker 2: a job in Sweden. I'm working out of here.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Dude, that'd be cool. He send us some chocolate.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Hell yeah, I mean we would still. We would still
- 19:17Speaker 2: do the podcast. We just have to do it. We
- 19:19Speaker 2: have the capabilities, but we have so many things that
- 19:21Speaker 2: we can still do. I didn't think it would be
- 19:24Speaker 2: a problem. You would just have to call me uh
- 19:28Speaker 2: feud And my name is not I apologize to any listener.
- 19:42Speaker 1: You know what, I don't apologize. Just hold on, hold on,
- 19:47Speaker 1: don't start yelling yet the only reason I'm not apologizing
- 19:51Speaker 1: is so that we can meet over a table and
- 19:54Speaker 1: like shake hands and like resolve all our issues we
- 19:56Speaker 1: have between America and Sweden.
- 19:59Speaker 2: There there aren't any as far as I know, except
- 20:01Speaker 2: that we have a shitty leader. But you know, aside
- 20:04Speaker 2: from that, sweet Sweden and cool.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I think they're awesome. Again, their chocolates bad, they're cool
- 20:11Speaker 1: the American and and they're hot chocolate. That Swiss miss
- 20:14Speaker 1: is amazing, Yes it is. Yeah, go Sweden.
- 20:18Speaker 2: I don't think it's Swiss stuff.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Swiss and Sweden different, oh are they?
- 20:24Speaker 2: First of all, Switzerland Sweeter are two different countries. Second
- 20:28Speaker 2: of all, Swiss Myths is not a Switzerland company. Put
- 20:31Speaker 2: an American company.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Fucking we stole that to like we sold the British God. Yea,
- 20:36Speaker 1: we are that's what we maybe we are, you know what. Yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 1: Americ is full of assholes and dicks. We could try
- 20:43Speaker 1: fucking ourselves all the time.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you the time than no problem. He did
- 20:50Speaker 2: that break from reality.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Reality overwhelming.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, reality sucks sometimes. Well that's me for the most part,
- 20:57Speaker 2: which I wish I had better, you know, better news
- 21:01Speaker 2: to report, very much. Wish I did, but I don't.
- 21:04Speaker 2: But you know, sometimes things just don't go your way and.
- 21:07Speaker 1: It's okay, you're gonna get through that ship and then
- 21:09Speaker 1: you're gonna have the happy times again.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Yeah. I look forward to telling my boss fuck you
- 21:14Speaker 2: on Tuesday when I don't have what he wants.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Go ahead, do it before you punch in there like
- 21:21Speaker 1: I wasn't on the clock, bitch, I'll do that.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Don't say bitch either.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Oh fuck yeah. Would you like to take a break?
- 21:35Speaker 1: Here go?
- 21:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and now it's a good time for a break. Actually,
- 21:41Speaker 2: just chill out. We're gonna go to a break and
- 21:43Speaker 2: we'll be right back with more insanity and we'll find
- 21:46Speaker 2: out what's up with these two guys. Just me right
- 21:50Speaker 2: after this, Hey man, welcome back. We got some uh
- 22:02Speaker 2: mailbox stuff.
- 22:03Speaker 1: We do the mail.
- 22:05Speaker 6: Bag f y tw mail bag what we called it,
- 22:09Speaker 6: bound mail bag, bound bound mail bag, found getting them litters.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Here you go. There's a there's a jingle for the
- 22:23Speaker 2: mail bag.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I have. I have more things written down to say
- 22:29Speaker 1: than I do like show notes so far, like no joke.
- 22:32Speaker 1: We've been we've been recording for over a half hour
- 22:34Speaker 1: and the only things I've written out of stuff that
- 22:36Speaker 1: I want to save for this, Like it's fucked up.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I mean it's awesome, don't be wrong. I'm loving it.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I love so much right now. This is great.
- 22:44Speaker 2: So we got a mail bag stuff. So we got
- 22:47Speaker 2: comment stuff. We got a mail bag stuffed with comments.
- 22:50Speaker 2: We got stuff to talk about Stevie taking away.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Yes, so from show number two seventy two Funny Old People,
- 22:56Speaker 1: that was the one we had the ladies from Hoola
- 22:58Speaker 1: n On. Hey, Yeah, we got a comment from Bill
- 23:02Speaker 1: m what the what makes you feel old? Was just
- 23:06Speaker 1: a checklist for me.
- 23:09Speaker 5: And yeah, yeah, I get it.
- 23:14Speaker 2: I get it. As we were going around the table,
- 23:16Speaker 2: You're like, check, yep, check.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Everybody had the same issue.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I completely.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I'm just like, damn, what do I complain universal experience
- 23:27Speaker 1: at some pointed, Yeah, we all share the same thing.
- 23:29Speaker 3: We all suffer together.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Everybody get the r threa to cream out. We start
- 23:34Speaker 1: bringing it down halfway for our breaks. All right, guys,
- 23:37Speaker 1: all right, Stevie, al right. Our next comment comes from
- 23:41Speaker 1: the pre show the actual Breaks from Patreon from episode
- 23:45Speaker 1: two seventy one, and it's Bill again. Of course it
- 23:48Speaker 1: was Big Charman, it wiped it.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Big controls the diaper industry and unbelievable.
- 23:57Speaker 1: They run way more than you know it. You're scary, Like,
- 24:01Speaker 1: look behind the fucking sheets man the.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Morning and I looked out and staring at you, just waiting,
- 24:13Speaker 4: always there.
- 24:14Speaker 1: That was the last of the comments and stuff from
- 24:17Speaker 1: the Patriot. Okay, well you'll find out at the end.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. We always go over to the end.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I keep forgetting.
- 24:26Speaker 2: So we actually have one more. This one's kind of special.
- 24:29Speaker 2: It was sent to me in a d M, but
- 24:32Speaker 2: they gave permission for me to share it. This is
- 24:35Speaker 2: from a bit oh Ship, former former contributor to the show.
- 24:40Speaker 2: He was in the PC Games episode. We had a
- 24:42Speaker 2: lot of fun with him and UH and David A.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Plos and that was a great episode. That was I
- 24:49Speaker 2: listened to it recently and just really enjoyed it. So
- 24:53Speaker 2: this was a delightful thing to get. And he said,
- 24:55Speaker 2: I'm sorry, this should be a voicemail, but anxiety keeps
- 24:58Speaker 2: me from it. I am binging the past two years
- 25:01Speaker 2: of b FY tw and I haven't laughed so much
- 25:04Speaker 2: in a long time. I don't know if you remember
- 25:08Speaker 2: that twenty twenty three pole position when Aggie and Stevie
- 25:11Speaker 2: drove you completely insane. Now, to be fair, if you'd
- 25:16Speaker 2: left out twenty twenty three pole position in just that episode,
- 25:20Speaker 2: that could apply to so many of ye, so many
- 25:24Speaker 2: of these episodes. He drive me completely not on purpose,
- 25:31Speaker 2: it's purpose. It's kind of our whole stick. But you know,
- 25:36Speaker 2: this gives me the feeling that maybe we should lean
- 25:38Speaker 2: into it more and you should drive me more crazy.
- 25:40Speaker 2: And I'm getting sadder the more.
- 25:42Speaker 1: To start paying.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Wait and stocks eight, but continues to say, I still
- 25:51Speaker 2: have tears in my eyes. Please tell them all thank you.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I love you guys, fucking thank you so much. And
- 25:58Speaker 1: don't worry about the voicemail thing, dude, Yeah, totally get
- 26:02Speaker 1: it more comfortable.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Just send messages We have an email address as well
- 26:08Speaker 2: if you want to send messages to all of us,
- 26:09Speaker 2: so everybody gets b fy t B podcast at gmail
- 26:13Speaker 2: dot com and then you can use that at anytime
- 26:16Speaker 2: or feel free to keep dming me. That's fine too.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, whatever's easy. And we'd love to hang out with Yeah,
- 26:21Speaker 1: it would be awesome.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I would love to have him on again. But like
- 26:25Speaker 2: like you said, I get it is his social anxiety
- 26:29Speaker 2: has gotten to the point where he has a difficulty
- 26:31Speaker 2: being on camera.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Or Oh that's fair, so we'll do his phone.
- 26:35Speaker 2: So you know, I want to be understanding and be
- 26:37Speaker 2: a friend of about this. I'm not going to push
- 26:39Speaker 2: him into anything. But if you ever decide you do
- 26:41Speaker 2: want to do another episode a bit hit us up,
- 26:44Speaker 2: well gladly have.
- 26:45Speaker 1: You back on. Make it as comfortable a process as
- 26:47Speaker 1: we won't even record it, it'll just be for us.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Well, that's an entirely different kind of thing, you know,
- 26:55Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, A different kind of thing.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's a set Today Night Special, Saturday Afternoon
- 27:03Speaker 1: was a little different, guys. I mean different scale, different company,
- 27:07Speaker 1: different LLC.
- 27:08Speaker 2: You know, all right, well, thank you again, but it
- 27:10Speaker 2: means the world yes, thank you, and I really needed
- 27:13Speaker 2: that message. That's awesome, so getting it today, seriously delightful.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Thank you binging the last two years. Psychopath.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Don't make his anxiety. What are you doing?
- 27:27Speaker 3: You're crazy?
- 27:28Speaker 1: It's okay, I'm crazy.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Absolutely does not think you're a psycho bad he was joking.
- 27:35Speaker 1: I love you. No, I love you, dude. That's awesome, though,
- 27:38Speaker 1: like seriously like.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Like walk it back, walking back. Goddamn it.
- 27:43Speaker 1: What did you just do? Hopefully's for enough back. You
- 27:49Speaker 1: won't hear this for like another years.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it'd be great.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna write them back here is that part of it?
- 28:00Speaker 2: But I am so sorry.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 28:02Speaker 2: I'm so sorry. I meant for this to be a positive.
- 28:07Speaker 2: You're not a psychopath?
- 28:08Speaker 1: No, no, no, in the best.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Of if anything, Stevie's is a bad Yes.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Yes, dude. If anybody yours a psychopath, probably fucking me.
- 28:15Speaker 3: All right, doll projection.
- 28:16Speaker 2: That's our mail bag for today.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Do we have an out outro song for them?
- 28:21Speaker 2: No, we don't unless you want to make it up
- 28:24Speaker 2: right now.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Sound of a zipper boo boo.
- 28:29Speaker 2: It's my mail bag. It's closed.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Uh, we'll workshop it for now.
- 28:39Speaker 1: If anybody wants to send theirs in, it can be
- 28:43Speaker 1: anywhere between five and thirty second. I'll even take fucking
- 28:46Speaker 1: thirty seconds. I'll give a fuck we call it. Call
- 28:49Speaker 1: it into the b F Y t W pod dot
- 28:51Speaker 1: com go to contact us. There's a little widget there
- 28:54Speaker 1: to leave a voicemail. I can rip it off of there.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Fuck yeah, all right, and now back.
- 29:00Speaker 2: To the show.
- 29:03Speaker 7: If you like fun, then you're gonna love the beard
- 29:06Speaker 7: Out Podcast. It's a podcast where we talk about two
- 29:08Speaker 7: of the greatest things in the world, beer and weird Out,
- 29:12Speaker 7: And frankly, we talk more about weird Out than anything
- 29:15Speaker 7: because he's the gift that keeps on given. So join
- 29:19Speaker 7: us as we talk through weird Al's career, what he
- 29:22Speaker 7: needs to us, and we have some very special guests
- 29:25Speaker 7: on to discuss the magic that is Alfred Matthew Yankovic.
- 29:30Speaker 7: Beard Out part of the Odd God Media Network.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Hey man, welcome back. So we've been over my shitty week.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Let's talk about something I was gonna say, hopefully something
- 29:55Speaker 2: more positive. Either of you want to share what's been
- 29:59Speaker 2: going on with you lately, and.
- 30:04Speaker 4: You know what on this spectrum will go from negative
- 30:07Speaker 4: to neutral.
- 30:10Speaker 2: I will take newtral neutral would be delightful.
- 30:13Speaker 3: It's it's a work week.
- 30:15Speaker 4: It's pretty standard for this time of year, so like,
- 30:18Speaker 4: you know, work sucks, but it's a great job, so
- 30:21Speaker 4: I'm not going to really complain. So but yeah, in
- 30:25Speaker 4: my free time, in my in my days off, I'm
- 30:28Speaker 4: playing the ship out of Monster Hunter World, specifically because
- 30:32Speaker 4: apparently Wild is so bad on performance that what was
- 30:36Speaker 4: once a highly uh positive launch has turned into a
- 30:42Speaker 4: mostly negative few months. I guess they haven't really been
- 30:47Speaker 4: releasing content in a timely manner.
- 30:50Speaker 3: And yeah, apparently like even on the best rigs, it chuck.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Some people have Okay, it depends on how the graphic
- 31:00Speaker 3: they're set, but even but.
- 31:02Speaker 4: For others it's like it's unplayable. Yeah, it's got it's
- 31:06Speaker 4: it's kind of disappointing. But that just to me says, hey,
- 31:08Speaker 4: I got plenty of time to do the other thing
- 31:10Speaker 4: I'm actually doing, which is uh giving Stevie essentially free
- 31:15Speaker 4: reign with my my credit card to go and build
- 31:20Speaker 4: me a new PC.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Oh, this is becoming amazing.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Okay, becoming amazing.
- 31:27Speaker 4: That's yes, Okay, I'm not gonna say I didn't give
- 31:32Speaker 4: him a card with like a five thousand dollars limit,
- 31:35Speaker 4: but I gave him.
- 31:36Speaker 3: A credit card with a five thousand said have fun.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Oh Jesus Christ.
- 31:41Speaker 1: I think I found his case, his motherboard, his CPU.
- 31:44Speaker 1: So far, Okay, he's definitely getting a rise in seven
- 31:48Speaker 1: at a good call. It's gonna the high end seven,
- 31:51Speaker 1: or it's gonna be the mid range nine.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I got the high end nine and the one. They're
- 31:56Speaker 1: only one hundred dollars different, so it depends where we're
- 31:58Speaker 1: gonna end.
- 31:59Speaker 2: The performance gap is not that it's not.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but the seven will last five to seven years,
- 32:04Speaker 1: the nine to last ten easy. So I was like,
- 32:06Speaker 1: that's the only thing I was really looking at.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fair.
- 32:09Speaker 1: The motherboard is an a SU's motherboard. I think I
- 32:12Speaker 1: mentioned the last time one hundred and ninety six gigs
- 32:13Speaker 1: a rams the spitch can hold. It's gorgeous form, two
- 32:18Speaker 1: drives and it's got all the USB's are sane. And
- 32:22Speaker 1: then the case the case I I no, no, I mean,
- 32:28Speaker 1: I asked all you I'm not going to see it
- 32:30Speaker 1: till right.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:31Speaker 1: So I'm giving him a very basic idea what it's
- 32:35Speaker 1: going to be. I was like, what do you want
- 32:36Speaker 1: your case to be traditional tower, oversized tower. Do you
- 32:39Speaker 1: want something you want something like this?
- 32:40Speaker 4: And I showed him I have always had traditional tower
- 32:42Speaker 4: or like a mini one, a mini I got compacts
- 32:45Speaker 4: Like yeah.
- 32:47Speaker 1: So I was like, do you want something unique? He's
- 32:49Speaker 1: that's when you're like, yeah, yeah, something unique would be cool.
- 32:52Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, oh boy, so there's some really unique
- 32:56Speaker 2: designs out there.
- 32:57Speaker 3: I haven't spoiled any of it to me either, so
- 32:59Speaker 3: I have no idea what.
- 33:01Speaker 1: I don't want to get into it. But I asked him,
- 33:03Speaker 1: I'm like, you're getting a different desk because it's going
- 33:06Speaker 1: to be a very wide and tall computer. It's gonna
- 33:10Speaker 1: be pretty much if we're counting the counter here about
- 33:15Speaker 1: this big from here over this tall. But it's gonna
- 33:20Speaker 1: have multiple things on.
- 33:21Speaker 2: It, multiple things.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'll get I'll spoil a little bit so
- 33:25Speaker 1: far because this is a case.
- 33:27Speaker 2: The last computer I saw with a case that big
- 33:31Speaker 2: was a buddy of ours, Chicago, Ted Yes, who put
- 33:36Speaker 2: in two rising tread rippers. How did he get those?
- 33:41Speaker 2: And dual twenty eighties back when they were brand new?
- 33:48Speaker 2: Like the thread rippers alone, this was this was a
- 33:51Speaker 2: like this was like a four thousand dollars. Yeah, that
- 33:55Speaker 2: they were building and it was about the size that
- 33:57Speaker 2: you just described.
- 33:57Speaker 1: That's insane.
- 33:59Speaker 2: It was massive.
- 34:00Speaker 1: That's fucking cool. Yeah, this one's gonna be pretty big
- 34:02Speaker 1: for multiple reasons. One obviously cooling. You want to make
- 34:05Speaker 1: sure everything has the space inside there. He did want
- 34:09Speaker 1: to go with the AOI AIO. I always do that backwards. Hey,
- 34:14Speaker 1: I all in one liquid cooling, so that way, you know,
- 34:17Speaker 1: you don't have to worry about refilling it or doing
- 34:18Speaker 1: any maintenance. I've been using it on my system for
- 34:20Speaker 1: the last five years, no issues.
- 34:23Speaker 4: I was always hesitant about it too, because our buddy,
- 34:25Speaker 4: uh Magnus cock Thunder there had an incident where his
- 34:29Speaker 4: computer got fucking tanked liquid cooling.
- 34:32Speaker 3: But it is way different.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Technology change.
- 34:35Speaker 4: Technology has changed a lot, and this all in one
- 34:39Speaker 4: is nothing like like an actual like liquid cooling set up.
- 34:44Speaker 3: It's completely different.
- 34:45Speaker 1: It's the irradiator is attached to it automatically. Everything's great.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I'm loving it for what I have, and I think
- 34:50Speaker 1: it'll go good for him. But the case itself, the
- 34:52Speaker 1: reason that it's going to be that big again for
- 34:54Speaker 1: that stuff, and he wants something unique, Uh, there's actually
- 34:59Speaker 1: an LCD pan on the corner of the case itself
- 35:02Speaker 1: as well, so it's the larger case. There's an LCD
- 35:05Speaker 1: panel here which he can change to be anything he wants.
- 35:08Speaker 1: And then inside is also gonna have another screen on
- 35:10Speaker 1: the inside where you can have all his cooling and
- 35:12Speaker 1: temperatures on the inside as well. And then if you wanted,
- 35:15Speaker 1: I know you weren't huge into the LED things, but
- 35:18Speaker 1: if you wanted to, that's an option as well later.
- 35:21Speaker 1: But the the the like, I'm just like, these are
- 35:23Speaker 1: all things that aren't that expensive.
- 35:25Speaker 4: I'll say, I'll defer to you.
- 35:30Speaker 1: So it's gonna it's gonna be pretty cool. But all
- 35:32Speaker 1: he needs a new desk.
- 35:33Speaker 4: I need and we already like we do pretty early
- 35:37Speaker 4: on my computer to get upgraded, needed a whole new mother.
- 35:41Speaker 1: It needs everything new, so.
- 35:42Speaker 3: It needed everything anyway, So why not start from.
- 35:45Speaker 2: The ground, Stevie, I need you to be straight with me. Yes,
- 35:49Speaker 2: are you building him a fish tank computer?
- 35:52Speaker 1: No, it's gonna be more animey.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Okay, okay, all right, don't answer something breathing a little
- 36:01Speaker 2: bit easier. I've seen a couple of.
- 36:03Speaker 1: These on everything.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Where they actually build its honest to god submerged computer.
- 36:11Speaker 2: It's unbelievably scary.
- 36:14Speaker 1: But they're like, if that ship sprung, everybody's man.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Everybody, everybody's gonna be fissed.
- 36:22Speaker 1: So but yeah, like I'm excited because it's all he's like,
- 36:27Speaker 1: you guys did that one building we had to h
- 36:29Speaker 1: o A. I am yeah, but it'll be nice to
- 36:31Speaker 1: see you doing this like yeah, but as an adult,
- 36:35Speaker 1: like all, he's like, I got adult money. Now.
- 36:37Speaker 4: I'll just have to know the dimensions of the desk.
- 36:39Speaker 4: I'll have to probably get to replace.
- 36:41Speaker 3: I might not replace my main desk. I might just
- 36:44Speaker 3: replace the build on they add onto the just like
- 36:48Speaker 3: a you know, a nights standing We can probably.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Find you a nice raised like standing desk coffee table
- 36:53Speaker 1: and you can do that too.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it doesn't have to be the biggest thing.
- 36:57Speaker 2: I I have my computer on a dolly and it's
- 37:00Speaker 2: not it's not quite as large envisioned, but it's still.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Yeah, like you could do some cool ship and you and.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Then you can wheel it around. Yeah, which it makes
- 37:10Speaker 2: it very easy if I need to open it up
- 37:12Speaker 2: and or install. When I installed the NBMESE, I just
- 37:17Speaker 2: unplug everything and just roll it out of there into
- 37:19Speaker 2: the into the room with so smart. Yeah, no, it
- 37:22Speaker 2: comes in very handy.
- 37:23Speaker 1: I never thought about actually yeah, yeah.
- 37:30Speaker 2: No absolutely, I'm I was so pleased.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 37:35Speaker 2: And if you if you get one of those ones
- 37:37Speaker 2: with the kind of like they're kind of like squares,
- 37:40Speaker 2: but they've got an open bottom. Yeah, machine has fans
- 37:43Speaker 2: in the bottom. They'll still work.
- 37:44Speaker 1: The furniture dolly.
- 37:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 37:45Speaker 4: Yeah, my my work has my work has I can
- 37:49Speaker 4: ask for He got his from Harbor Frey.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Yeah, talk at home. Yeah, all made a sale for you.
- 38:00Speaker 1: You get five percent of all your sales. I'm gonna
- 38:02Speaker 1: buy it and then we'll watch that. Well no, then
- 38:05Speaker 1: we'll just call it there you guys. Have you guys
- 38:07Speaker 1: own the thing? I said, I ordering it off t.
- 38:12Speaker 2: So you so what man?
- 38:20Speaker 3: Other than that, Yeah, that's about it.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Like again, you basically handed him your money and said
- 38:25Speaker 2: go to town.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's got a limit, dangerous. I didn't know. I
- 38:31Speaker 3: didn't give him my bank card. I came a limit.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Then I can shut off my phone like I did
- 38:38Speaker 1: not make gave.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Him a credit card whose payments you are responsible for.
- 38:43Speaker 2: So just throwing that out there, I don't worry I'm
- 38:47Speaker 2: not saying not to trust, right, I'm just saying.
- 38:50Speaker 1: I can tell you right now, everything that's getting purchased
- 38:53Speaker 1: is on a huge sale, and everything is back to
- 38:56Speaker 1: the minimum three year warranty. That's what everything's got, a
- 38:59Speaker 1: three years swap out warrantines.
- 39:01Speaker 2: That's what I would just say.
- 39:02Speaker 3: And I never buy anything, but I can't pay back twice.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Yes, so I'm.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Gonna say yeah. When I when I worked out when
- 39:08Speaker 2: I worked out a deal with Andy and Karen my
- 39:13Speaker 2: monkey to build to build his gaming computer and slash
- 39:17Speaker 2: editing computer. More or less, he wanted to be able
- 39:20Speaker 2: to do everything his Uh. The deal we worked out
- 39:24Speaker 2: was that I would submit them a list of the
- 39:26Speaker 2: parts and what they cost, and then they paid me
- 39:28Speaker 2: for it and then I could buy them.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it makes sense.
- 39:31Speaker 2: But another thing that I did with somebody else that
- 39:34Speaker 2: was also a good working plan to build a computer
- 39:38Speaker 2: for somebody else on BEAF. Somebody else I had, I
- 39:41Speaker 2: think our former roommate Stephanie's son wanted a computer, and
- 39:47Speaker 2: I built him one for about like five hundred bucks.
- 39:49Speaker 2: But in that case, what I did was I sent
- 39:51Speaker 2: him the links to the things I needed and had
- 39:54Speaker 2: him buy them and bring them to me.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Oh that way, he's taking sure of that way, he's.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Yes, And I look for deals and I could send him.
- 40:01Speaker 2: I'm like, this is a great deal to grat this
- 40:03Speaker 2: right now. So that worked out very well too. So
- 40:05Speaker 2: you know, I'm just saying instead of just handing someone.
- 40:08Speaker 1: A cart, not me with my stickler technology at least
- 40:14Speaker 1: at least, I.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Am extremely anal about my credit, which is weird because
- 40:18Speaker 2: there's no real reason to be like my My credit's
- 40:20Speaker 2: very good, has been. My credit is very good. It
- 40:23Speaker 2: has been for a long time.
- 40:24Speaker 1: So I mean I'm getting better. Yeah, so well, you know,
- 40:28Speaker 1: it's just I know it's scary, but it's not like
- 40:33Speaker 1: I'm buying all of it once, like I'm buying one
- 40:35Speaker 1: part now. I want to getting him when a on
- 40:37Speaker 1: Sal's that's the smart way, honestly, because he's not in
- 40:41Speaker 1: a rush, like all, you can't play one game right now, jesus.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Yeah, don't worry about me.
- 40:47Speaker 2: His is even better than mine, motherfucker.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Don't worry about that. I'm smart with my money apparently,
- 40:53Speaker 3: so I don't need much. I don't need much. I
- 40:56Speaker 3: live a very frugal life, and I'm.
- 41:00Speaker 2: With it good way to bet fuck me sideways? What
- 41:04Speaker 2: am I doing wrong?
- 41:06Speaker 1: We have hobbies that we yeah, we got, we got.
- 41:08Speaker 1: So I have a car yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. Insurance, insurance, And.
- 41:15Speaker 4: To be honest, even even with what I make now,
- 41:18Speaker 4: I'll never be able to afford a car.
- 41:20Speaker 3: You need at least a minimum of like nine grand.
- 41:24Speaker 2: For that.
- 41:25Speaker 4: And I know that's that unless I get super famous
- 41:30Speaker 4: or suddenly my job pays.
- 41:32Speaker 1: You heard it, people make as much as it pays famous.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Be kind, going to make this episode go viral, get
- 41:41Speaker 2: us like a couple of thousands.
- 41:43Speaker 3: But that's fine because a.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Couple of thousand followers and a couple of hundred more
- 41:46Speaker 2: patreons would be a nice boost.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Yeah, then we can actually do like live shows, we
- 41:49Speaker 1: can travel, we can get the amazing.
- 41:51Speaker 2: But that's fine that boss, Yeah, boss, that's the plan.
- 41:55Speaker 3: My electric bike is reliable. Yes, I already got over
- 41:58Speaker 3: a thousand miles on it, more.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Miles on his electric Blite than I had of my motorcycle,
- 42:02Speaker 1: my motorcycle.
- 42:05Speaker 3: And I go, yeah, and and it's giving me abs.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Do have notice? Yeah, I ride.
- 42:14Speaker 3: It's a good work every day.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it's great.
- 42:17Speaker 2: And I said my ass in my car and drive
- 42:20Speaker 2: forty five minutes and sitting there.
- 42:22Speaker 1: We all do we're part of the problem. I get it.
- 42:28Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's what was my neutralsh is neutral.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I liked it. It was good.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it was an upgrade man, yeah, little, Yeah, it.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Was better than as always.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it is what it is, all right, So feeling better? Yeah, Kelly,
- 42:45Speaker 2: you're going as we transition into part three, we're going
- 42:48Speaker 2: to take a short break, but we'll be right back
- 42:50Speaker 2: right after this nor out. Yeah, Jesus, that credit's insane.
- 43:07Speaker 2: I am I have like a seven oh five. I
- 43:10Speaker 2: think nice. It's good but not great. Is where you're good?
- 43:16Speaker 2: Good but not great?
- 43:17Speaker 1: Yeah, well, isn't bad?
- 43:18Speaker 2: No, I'm not. I'm not complaining.
- 43:20Speaker 1: All. Bought a truck, so that's why it's down.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's it definitely took a hit when
- 43:25Speaker 2: I bought the truck, but the fact that I'm continuing
- 43:27Speaker 2: to make monthly payments on it is bringing it back up,
- 43:31Speaker 2: so you know.
- 43:32Speaker 4: Yeah, it's It's funny because the card I'm using when
- 43:35Speaker 4: i'd make payments back on it, it's at that point
- 43:38Speaker 4: where like they don't even ask me to make minimum payments.
- 43:40Speaker 3: They just they know it will be paid back.
- 43:43Speaker 1: It's just happening.
- 43:45Speaker 4: They're like usually they'll be like, hey, you're covered, you
- 43:47Speaker 4: have a minimum payment coming up on this data or whatever,
- 43:50Speaker 4: and do whatever. They did that atter like the first
- 43:53Speaker 4: couple of years. But now they're just like, whatever, you know,
- 43:55Speaker 4: you'll pay it back. So I don't even get like
- 43:57Speaker 4: minimum payment due.
- 43:58Speaker 2: I can wait a month.
- 43:59Speaker 1: By jesus, it makes sense. That's awesome. I'll use just
- 44:03Speaker 1: like whatever. I'm good. That's the way to do it, though, man,
- 44:05Speaker 1: it really is. I'm gonna do some investments this week.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Oh investments.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I got a couple grand I gotta throw around.
- 44:14Speaker 1: I gotta move it quick. So jesus, I found a
- 44:16Speaker 1: four percent cash back, So I think I'm just gonna
- 44:20Speaker 1: throw it all into there and just keep it in
- 44:22Speaker 1: to a CD for like six months. It's six months,
- 44:24Speaker 1: and it's four percent back. If I put like two
- 44:27Speaker 1: grand into that bitch eighty bucks, I.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Have invested a grand total of three hundred dollars. Nice,
- 44:35Speaker 2: I've made thirteen dollars in one cent.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Fuck yes, sir, I'm.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Up to three thirteen oh one. Keep it going.
- 44:41Speaker 3: It's that's good.
- 44:42Speaker 2: That's yeah. I would love nothing more than to just
- 44:45Speaker 2: like get like a random windfall, right, like one hundred grand,
- 44:49Speaker 2: just throw it all in.
- 44:51Speaker 1: And just that would be so nice.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Most of it's in a share called the SHD, which
- 44:58Speaker 2: is the schwab Us Dividend Equity in Swiss. No Schwap.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Country to Schwab oh the pink guy.
- 45:08Speaker 2: No, the trading company Schwab. It is. It is basically
- 45:14Speaker 2: a selection of It's basically a fund for a selection
- 45:19Speaker 2: of stocks that have typically performed well and are like
- 45:24Speaker 2: steady growers night so. But but it's designed so that
- 45:28Speaker 2: it pays out diven ends frequently oh so so. I mean,
- 45:34Speaker 2: as it is, most of my money's put into that,
- 45:36Speaker 2: because I'm getting like an additional like five to ten
- 45:40Speaker 2: cents paid to me on like a a semi weekly basis.
- 45:44Speaker 2: It's either every two weeks or every month one of
- 45:46Speaker 2: the two account. It goes right into my account and
- 45:49Speaker 2: I can then reinvest it if I want, or I
- 45:51Speaker 2: can take it out and do what.
- 45:52Speaker 1: I want with it.
- 45:53Speaker 2: It's such small at this point that it's like I
- 45:55Speaker 2: tend to just reinvest it, and even if it got
- 45:58Speaker 2: to like the twenty thirty dollars arrange I'd probably still
- 46:01Speaker 2: just push it right back.
- 46:02Speaker 1: That's the best thing. Roll over, can you throw?
- 46:06Speaker 2: I really like, I really like the dividends that just
- 46:09Speaker 2: keep that's the constant. Yes, that's that. That is a
- 46:14Speaker 2: rewarding feel. And uh and yeah, so it's nice to
- 46:17Speaker 2: just turn around and like let's keep building this up. Yeah, dude,
- 46:22Speaker 2: because ideally it would be nice to get to a
- 46:24Speaker 2: point where those dividends could pay my bills. Yeah, yeah,
- 46:28Speaker 2: that would be amazing.
- 46:29Speaker 1: I say we go on a book tour, a book tour.
- 46:32Speaker 1: We'll do a book tour and b F Y t
- 46:34Speaker 1: W at the same time.
- 46:35Speaker 2: I mean, it's not a bad place.
- 46:38Speaker 1: If I got a bus to earn r V, would
- 46:39Speaker 1: you yeah, would you be down?
- 46:42Speaker 2: Sure?
- 46:42Speaker 1: It's like it's gonna happen like this year or anything
- 46:44Speaker 1: we could take, like I gotta pay off the motorcycle
- 46:46Speaker 1: on the you just you would.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Just tell me where we're planning to go, and if
- 46:51Speaker 2: it's anywhere near a microcenter, I just demand we stop
- 46:53Speaker 2: on the way.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Demand like that.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Trip.
- 47:01Speaker 1: That is the whole point of I'm setting aside like
- 47:03Speaker 1: three grand for a microcenter just to like, yeah, I
- 47:07Speaker 1: want to I want to be able to walk into
- 47:08Speaker 1: that place and like I can get almost anything in here,
- 47:12Speaker 1: at least one of something that's really good.
- 47:14Speaker 2: It's insane, dude, It's like how good that place is.
- 47:21Speaker 2: So yeah, as long as we set it up beforehand,
- 47:24Speaker 2: and I can arrange to get like, you know, signings
- 47:27Speaker 2: at various bookstories and whatnot, you know, I can just
- 47:30Speaker 2: say I'm doing a book tour in the area and
- 47:32Speaker 2: I wanted to know if there is a spot available
- 47:34Speaker 2: for me to come in and do a signing for
- 47:36Speaker 2: a couple of hours, and we just have to hit
- 47:38Speaker 2: those places, you know, and then just you know, hopefully
- 47:43Speaker 2: they you know, announce it and market it a little bit,
- 47:45Speaker 2: you know, tell people we got this author coming by
- 47:47Speaker 2: you were reading and you know, and apparently as long
- 47:50Speaker 2: as I read it, like the first part of the book,
- 47:53Speaker 2: people will be like, I want to buy this book
- 47:55Speaker 2: because I read, I read, I read thing, and they just.
- 48:00Speaker 1: I think it would be fun, man, I really want
- 48:02Speaker 1: them all, Like Jesus, I didn't be cool because we
- 48:05Speaker 1: can just take like weekend trips and ship like, Okay,
- 48:07Speaker 1: we're going out this weekend, We're back on Sunday, you know,
- 48:09Speaker 1: and just jumping.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Would be even stronger if we had the third in
- 48:12Speaker 2: the trilogy. But I'm still just pottering.
- 48:14Speaker 1: That's all right, man. The first two is enough to
- 48:16Speaker 1: get you going.
- 48:17Speaker 3: Goge rr Martin. I'm trying never get that book out.
- 48:23Speaker 2: I'm trying. Mary fucking Job is killing me.
- 48:26Speaker 3: Harry Potter. No, that's that's a rolling fu.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Yeah, how can I never get these?
- 48:33Speaker 1: One's right? It's her him? And which one's the fucking
- 48:36Speaker 1: dragon show from HBO?
- 48:38Speaker 2: Game throw Yeah?
- 48:40Speaker 1: Oh god damn it.
- 48:41Speaker 3: George rr Martin is Game of Thrones.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Who's the Hobbit?
- 48:46Speaker 2: Then hobbit is j R. Tolkien?
- 48:48Speaker 1: That's the girl.
- 48:50Speaker 2: No, Tolkien is the Hobbit.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Wait, the Harry Potter was the girl? Jrr Tolman, woman, Sorry, there.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Are a Tolkien is the guy who used to drive
- 49:01Speaker 2: Andre the Giant to school. Yeah, literally lived like next door.
- 49:08Speaker 1: To the Balok and then he wrote a book.
- 49:11Speaker 3: He served World War One in the somn.
- 49:14Speaker 2: And then he wrote a book.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Yeah, see, Aaron, you wrote books. You're in your semi
- 49:19Speaker 1: famous You're gonna you're gonna hit it.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Ude, there's people in other countries that know about you,
- 49:25Speaker 1: that is true, and.
- 49:26Speaker 2: And a lot of states, you know, about me.
- 49:29Speaker 1: See, Yeah, how many people get to say that.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Plenty?
- 49:34Speaker 1: That's cool? Just not many men are cool. They all
- 49:39Speaker 1: know all still plenty No even even the even the
- 49:44Speaker 1: cool people out and numbered me by some margins. Nah no,
- 49:48Speaker 1: not these guys, baby, they all can stuff mushrooms of
- 49:51Speaker 1: their noses.
- 49:52Speaker 2: I appreciate that thought weirdly. It's charming. But we gotta
- 50:02Speaker 2: come back and finish this show.

- 51:18Speaker 3: Yes, I had like a really weird brain moment.
- 51:21Speaker 2: I just anyone would you said five? And that was that? Well,
- 51:28Speaker 2: I know, but it immediately threw me off.
- 51:31Speaker 4: I was like, what the It threw me off too,
- 51:33Speaker 4: because I said four and then I didn't say three.
- 51:36Speaker 3: He didn't say so, I whispered to for some reason.

- 52:03Speaker 1: Okay, it's been positive the whole fucking week. Now, one
- 52:07Speaker 1: negative fucking thing. I didn't get angry at anything or myself.
- 52:11Speaker 1: I didn't hit anything that didn't need to get hit.
- 52:14Speaker 1: And now I'm just in a good mood right now. Good. Yeah,
- 52:18Speaker 1: So let's get into it.
- 52:19Speaker 2: So how good was this week?
- 52:21Speaker 1: Oh? You know, one bad thing happened. Okay, I forgot,
- 52:24Speaker 1: but we'll start with that because it's not horrible, because
- 52:26Speaker 1: it's really good. All right, my fucking vacuum clean are broke.
- 52:31Speaker 1: And I like cleaning. Like it's not like I'm a
- 52:33Speaker 1: neat freak, but I vacuum once a week and then
- 52:36Speaker 1: I want to redo the bathroom. So I had the
- 52:37Speaker 1: vacuumlt the cob webs and shit out of it. So
- 52:40Speaker 1: the base, it's not even like it's a part you
- 52:42Speaker 1: can replace. The broke off from the bottom.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Oh Jesus.
- 52:47Speaker 1: And the part that broke, I'm like, okay, it's got
- 52:49Speaker 1: four screws. I take it apart and I'm like, maybe
- 52:51Speaker 1: I can fix it. I spent like twenty minutes. I
- 52:53Speaker 1: can't fix it. I'm like, okay, I'll call the company,
- 52:55Speaker 1: see if they can send me just this section. Then
- 52:58Speaker 1: you know, I was like, hey, yo, what up, my
- 53:00Speaker 1: ship broke. You all send me this one part right here.
- 53:02Speaker 1: It's like this this this, it snapped in half. It's
- 53:05Speaker 1: plastic and I would put it on myself. It's no problem.
- 53:07Speaker 1: And they're like, let's check into it, give them the model,
- 53:10Speaker 1: give them this yere And i'mber like, all right, and
- 53:12Speaker 1: this is this is Bistle, the company, the really.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Well known right.
- 53:18Speaker 1: Yeah. She's like, I am sorry, sir, we are unfortunately
- 53:21Speaker 1: unable to send you that part. We don't manufacture just
- 53:23Speaker 1: that part to send out. It's not in the parts catalog.
- 53:26Speaker 1: I'm like, oh crap, that sucks. She's like, I'll tell
- 53:28Speaker 1: you what I'm going to send you. Think in your
- 53:31Speaker 1: return label in the email. Find any box you can
- 53:34Speaker 1: fit this thing in. We will pay the post and
- 53:36Speaker 1: send it to us and we'll see what we can do.
- 53:38Speaker 1: No problem, thinks man, you're awesome, five stars yo, you rock.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Bistol lady and then.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Couldn't even be bothered to learn her name, just bistle lady.
- 53:54Speaker 1: It's upstairs. I write. I write whenever I talked to
- 53:56Speaker 1: somebody because I worked in a call center. So I'm
- 53:59Speaker 1: really and I'm about making sure that they're not the
- 54:01Speaker 1: ones that yell at. It's like, it's not your fault.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Let me tell you, like, I'll be calm with you, you're cool, whatever,
- 54:06Speaker 1: and I'll I always try to give them props because
- 54:07Speaker 1: they had to deal with some assholes. Yep, Like it sucks.
- 54:10Speaker 1: So if I go downstairs grab a box, I take
- 54:13Speaker 1: this thing apart, Like I'm like, just make it convenient
- 54:16Speaker 1: at least for them, Like here's the broken parts or
- 54:18Speaker 1: in a baggy that is it blocked and ship and
- 54:21Speaker 1: I take it all apart, box it up, take it
- 54:23Speaker 1: to FedEx, and off it goes. Three days ago. I
- 54:27Speaker 1: sent it nine days ago, right, something like that, Like
- 54:31Speaker 1: nine days ago. I sent this, okay, three days ago
- 54:33Speaker 1: an email saying they got it, and there's already uh
- 54:37Speaker 1: it's already coming back. I'm like, oh, sweet, awesome, sounds great, Bissel.
- 54:41Speaker 1: I'll wait for your delivery. Yesterday. I get the texts
- 54:45Speaker 1: from downstairs and Butter's like, yo, there's a vacuum on
- 54:48Speaker 1: the porch. And I'm like, what be a vacuum? I
- 54:52Speaker 1: got downstairs? Brand new and fucking box. I'm like, ship,
- 54:55Speaker 1: they didn't fix it. They just a brand new fucking.
- 55:00Speaker 3: The part that ripped off was like a front hose
- 55:03Speaker 3: or whatever.
- 55:04Speaker 1: It was a connecting part from the base the bottom,
- 55:07Speaker 1: not from like the part the insert or like that.
- 55:11Speaker 1: It was structural.
- 55:11Speaker 3: It was like structure ripped right off.
- 55:15Speaker 1: I use it a lot.
- 55:16Speaker 3: We all over heated.
- 55:17Speaker 1: You know, he got plank. There's a metal part there.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I'm like, awesome. I want yeah, I want to give
- 55:26Speaker 1: all the props Abistle for doing that ship, because like
- 55:29Speaker 1: I was not expecting I was like, send me, send
- 55:32Speaker 1: me just a part, I'll do it, and they were
- 55:33Speaker 1: like mad cool about all of it didn't cost anything.
- 55:36Speaker 1: So if you guys want a vacuum and you can
- 55:39Speaker 1: actually trust their customer service and their company, like I'm fucking.
- 55:43Speaker 3: Looking up yourself because we're not sponsored by BIS.
- 55:45Speaker 1: No, we're not. I would love to be. Holy crap,
- 55:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna I gotta put that reach out. Yeah, like, hey,
- 55:51Speaker 1: check out the story and I'll tell no I'm but seriously,
- 55:55Speaker 1: go to them. They're they're they're awesome and they'll take
- 55:57Speaker 1: care of it. So that was a a angry day
- 56:01Speaker 1: and to Okay, this is not bad at all. You know,
- 56:03Speaker 1: it just took a few days. I've been working out
- 56:06Speaker 1: a lot more now I work out every day, so
- 56:08Speaker 1: I've been feeling like physically a lot better and like
- 56:12Speaker 1: mentally better. It's been nice, Like holy shit, I'm already
- 56:15Speaker 1: seeing fucking games too, which is really nice. Other than that,
- 56:21Speaker 1: I've been closing down my kitchen network because I am done.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Uh freaking Friday was my last day unless something happens
- 56:30Speaker 1: Monday or Tuesday and I have to go in there
- 56:32Speaker 1: and make some lunch for some kids. But as far
- 56:35Speaker 1: as I know, Like they only have two kids in
- 56:37Speaker 1: theyre already made them breakfast like Friday for them, so
- 56:40Speaker 1: it wasn't the cooler good to go. So I think
- 56:42Speaker 1: I'm done for the season, like I don't have to
- 56:45Speaker 1: go back. They're like, see next year. I'm like, I
- 56:49Speaker 1: I'm out, bitches, which I didn't say because I was
- 56:51Speaker 1: out of school. I'm like, okay, I'm out later, and
- 56:55Speaker 1: then I got outside punched out. Is that I'm out
- 56:56Speaker 1: bitches now. But it was very like stupid happy. It's
- 57:02Speaker 1: like the kitchen's all closed down, ill cleaned, like I
- 57:04Speaker 1: am ready for next year. The kitchen is mine. They
- 57:07Speaker 1: are straight up like you're the lead, You're in control.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Here's one of your staff people and it was the
- 57:11Speaker 1: lady who's been working with me and she's been really cool.
- 57:14Speaker 1: So she's gonna be there five days a week and
- 57:16Speaker 1: they're hiring somebody else good to work my off after
- 57:20Speaker 1: an hour so I can still get home like at
- 57:22Speaker 1: a good time in the afternoon. So I'm like stupid
- 57:25Speaker 1: happy about that. I mean, as the sucks, your work
- 57:27Speaker 1: ship's going bad, minds kind of improving, I guess weirdly. Yeah,
- 57:32Speaker 1: it's weird. You gotta come working in the school, maybe
- 57:34Speaker 1: with tea in the school, work for the school district.
- 57:37Speaker 2: I was gonna say, I'd love to be cool. I'd
- 57:39Speaker 2: love to have something local.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you have to go in city and ship,
- 57:43Speaker 1: you know, because Jesus, this.
- 57:45Speaker 2: Is like a be able to like do it t
- 57:48Speaker 2: for like you know, a small school would be I
- 57:51Speaker 2: think i'd enjoy that'd be awesome.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Quiet, yeah, pretty, especially my school because you know, kids
- 57:57Speaker 1: aren't allowed to be in the home.
- 57:58Speaker 2: I'd be sure to run a tight ship to make
- 58:00Speaker 2: sure things are yeah up to spec oh ship.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Because I don't scan my stuff on the network.
- 58:07Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm gonna be watching what you're doing
- 58:09Speaker 2: like a goddamn you go if nothing else is gonna.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Be I technically don't work for the school. I have
- 58:17Speaker 1: a contractor work for company.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Yeah, but you're on our network, so I still get
- 58:21Speaker 2: to see. Damn it, what are you looking at?
- 58:26Speaker 1: Recipes? Recipes, recipes, This chicken was bought by the government
- 58:35Speaker 1: for these kids. This is okay, let's see other things new.
- 58:46Speaker 1: I love my fucking motorcycle more and more all the time.
- 58:50Speaker 1: I'm getting so used to it. And that thing is
- 58:53Speaker 1: so much fun. Oh, I love it. I can't wait
- 58:55Speaker 1: to go about this. I'm going out tomorrow. I think
- 58:57Speaker 1: it's gonna go for a long ride. Uh, if any
- 59:00Speaker 1: of you all like to ride in or in the
- 59:01Speaker 1: Western New York area, don't contact me. I don't ride
- 59:04Speaker 1: with other people.
- 59:07Speaker 3: Nervous as a dog.
- 59:08Speaker 1: That fucking drives me insane. Like it's fine, Like I
- 59:11Speaker 1: love seeing like groups of riders and stuff going. But
- 59:13Speaker 1: like I was riding through the city one day and
- 59:15Speaker 1: another bike just like rolled up, like not next to me,
- 59:18Speaker 1: but like all like diagonal. You're not supposed to be
- 59:20Speaker 1: parallel that you're at like a stop or some shit.
- 59:23Speaker 1: So they like rolled up, and then somebody else came
- 59:24Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh god, now I'm inna lead. I
- 59:27Speaker 1: don't want to be in lead of this shit because
- 59:28Speaker 1: you gott follow different rules for your lead of a
- 59:30Speaker 1: bike group. They actually go through it with before your license,
- 59:32Speaker 1: Like these are the rules when you were riding in
- 59:34Speaker 1: a group, like how to signal or something on the
- 59:36Speaker 1: road you to do. It's your foot Like so I
- 59:38Speaker 1: was like all this other shit I'm thinking about now
- 59:40Speaker 1: as I'm trying to just ride the fuck home and
- 59:43Speaker 1: I'm like, nope, so I just made the first right turn.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I was like later, I'm like, oh, I ain't leading
- 59:49Speaker 1: this shit. Fuck that. Oh I don't want a group ride.
- 59:53Speaker 1: It makes me too fucking nervous.
- 59:56Speaker 3: I'm sure you'd be fine if somebody else was.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I mean I can ride in a group.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I don't mind. I'm just not gonna be in the front,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Like I'll be in the fucking back if I break down.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Fuck it, it's fine. I got a cell phone, I
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: don't care. I got tools in my bag. But I've
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: been I'm gonna be working on the website next week,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: so I'm super excited about that. So I got some
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: work to go on there, adding some things to look
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: at and click onto. Oh yeah, it's gonna be really cool.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: It's gonna be hot.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: It is. It's gonna be a great and the last
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: thing I can really say, I've been like really doing
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: this week, aside from gaming, Like there's been a lot
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: of gaming between playing Monster Hunter with Augie, which I
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: never thought i'd enjoy that title game, But I love
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: this game now like i'm playing I'm playing that more
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: than I'm playing Call of Duty or Battlefield or pub
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: get right. I'm like, I'm playing this with him. I
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: got this sword and shield combo and it's fucking great
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: because they're like thunder on it and every time I
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: hit the fucking monster to get it like shocked a
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: little bit.
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like fourteen different types of weapons, so like it.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: It suits everybody's play styles, and of course the monsters
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: themselves are all always they're different, so it's like really
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: interesting to learn the fights, and then it's more fun
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: to learn it with friends.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: Yeah, because somebody else is getting their ass be.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Somebody save me. Hit me once and I'm almost dead.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: He's fucking murdering the goddamn monkeys.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Fucking monkey Holy.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: We know it's funny as hell.
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: Anyone not familiar with the Monster Hunter basically a gorilla
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: that can go super sayan it.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Was nuts, But no, that's been fun. And then we've
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: been playing a lot of repo and headliners, more indie
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: type games with Native Pixie and the kiddo the Avocado,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: which has been awesome.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Other than that, I'll be streaming soon too because my
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: ears almost done. Once to get all this house stuff done,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I'm planning to be like on a schedule of stream
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: for the summer, so a couple of days a week actually,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: so it'll be kind of fun. I'll do rocket Leagues
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: on Saturday nights and doing other games that like the
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: games Aggie's been recommended to me to play. So it's
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: completely out of my normal realm of games, so it's
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: gonna be kind of fun. Yeah. And then recently Reluctant
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Butter started catching up on our show and then started
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: looking up Eight out of Ten Cats, Big Fat Quiz
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: and Taskmaster. He's been coming in every night talking about
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: one of the shows.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Oh god, yeah, there's so much, so.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: We started going back into it. We started watching Eight
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: out of Ten Cats does Countdown and we started it
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: over again. So it's like, okay, this is what we're
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: doing during dinner now.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Is Yes, there's a lot of episodes.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: It's so much fun. So if I mean you, for
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: some reason obviously you're fans of us and stuff, you
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: will love their content. It's like they stole it from us.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: It's crazy, the fucking British man. They feel all our
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: great ideas definitely label with their own fucking crazy.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: That's great. Yeah, that is great.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Yeah, man, look for a Colorado show and information on
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: that on the bfy tw website. Once that gets updated,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna get like too.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Hot, I'm too tired. That's awesome, all right. Well, oh, then,
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: speaking of good games, there is one thing I really
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: enjoyed this week, and that's when we were all streaming
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: together Thursday night and I pulled out Through the Pigeon.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: That was awesome.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Pro The Pigeon was a fantastic, like Nintendo sixty four
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: style graphics, three D platforming game that is absolutely fantastic.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: It is it is literally just this pigeon flying around
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: finding feathers so that she can get hot dogs. Hot dogs,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: and you want hot dogs because the more hot dogs
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: you have, the more golden plumes you get. The more
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: golden plumes you get, the more levels you unlock to
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: find more hot dogs and feathers and ship. It's it's
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: really adorable. It's self contained. It's like fifteen levels plus
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: the overworld, so there there's there's a lot. There's a
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: lot to do, and the levels take between like three
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: and five minutes, so it's not it's not a super
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: long game. It is. It is semi challenging. I will
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: say that it's not the hardest game in the world.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: But yeah, some of the platform jumping is is a
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: little tricky again ND, but it's done about as well
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: as I've seen a three D platform and like I
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: the reason I picked it up is because I saw
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: it on a GDQ or s GDQ, one of the
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: gdq's GDQ Yes, and they did a speed run of
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: it because there's a lot of speed tech in this game,
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: which is really cool. You can do like these dive
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: bombs that then you jump into and do another one,
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: just just turning, speeding the fuck across the ground. And
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: seeing that that speed run was like, oh, this game
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: looks kind of cool. I wonder, I wonder if I
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: can check it out. I hope it's not too expensive.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: It was on sale for two dollars the other day.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: This is the best use of two dollars that I've
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: ever done, so Yes, and I had a great time
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Thursday night. So I highly recommend checking out Prove the
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Pigeon p r U is the name Prove the Pigeon.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: It's a very silly game, but it's very well done.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I remember when we're thinking talking about gaming, but yeah,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: hundred percent, I just laugh and watching it play.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: I started voicing all the other characters if they were
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Matt Berry. I'm missing my fucking feathers. Somebody get me
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: a succulent Chinese meal. Yeah, that one was weird.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: I don't know why they put that in the.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Gotta we gotta stream more into in the BFY lounge
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: and ship like that because I think I would bring
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: a crowd. But talking about gaming, we got invited to
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Fortnite Lego this last week. Yeah, so I think the
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: BFY people would be joining Fortnite Lego, or at least
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: one of us will oh yeah.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Yeah. The ladies asked me about that and I was like,
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: I don't have it, it's free, and they got mad
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: at me because I said I submitted a sad faces
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: because because I put the sad it's in, like I
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: can't play along. And then and then she was like,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: what the fuck is the sad face for? Why are
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: you hating a low lego Fortnite? And I'm like, I'm like,
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: is this is this what the Internet has become? Face?
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: We just automatically assume a sad face means hate somehow,
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: like the Internet has ruined us as a species. Yeah,
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: it has ruined us as a species. Is good for
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: you just take the dial back of porn.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: Yes, yes, that is good for it is amazing for
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: porn and cool ship online.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: Yes that is also true. Yes, which we haven't crossed
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: over into porn yet. I'm still hoping something.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Trying to get that fucking calendar done for next calendar.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: I really do calendar will be cool. I also still
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: really want to do because you that's wine. Yes, that
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: is still on my Do.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: You want to go down there this week?
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: This next week? Yeah, okay, yeah, let's go.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: We can talk to her. Just be like, because I
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: want some wine. I want to taste it's been so long.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I wish I could. Is my problem is that
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: we generally can't well, you know, glass. I can go
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: and I can have a glass. That's pretty much all
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: I can do. But like buying wine doesn't make a
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: lot of sense for me.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Like I'll buy one by the time I want.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: It, by the time it's gone bad, I will have
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: had like two glasses best. And I'm like, yeah, you.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Know, we gotta do. I gotta pick you up one day,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: come here, get wine.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Where are you going with this? Get me drunk? I
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: was like, I know it's coming. Where's the get Me
