- 0:23SPEAKER_03: It's a truth serum.
- 0:24SPEAKER_03: Are you ready for your dose?
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: It's a truth serum.
- 0:28SPEAKER_03: Are you ready for your dose?
- 0:33SPEAKER_02: We ate with that jingle.
- 0:35SPEAKER_03: We did.
- 0:35SPEAKER_03: And I'm ready for my dose.
- 0:37SPEAKER_02: I'm ready for my does.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: I'm ready for my dolls.
- 0:39SPEAKER_02: People told me this week that they'll just walk up to each other and they'll go, it's a truth serum.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: Are you ready for your dose?
- 0:43SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 0:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 0:44SPEAKER_03: Oh, I love that.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: Shout out Tony and Carlos.
- 0:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: Um, guys, it is is episode six or seven.
- 0:50SPEAKER_03: It is episode seven.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: Seven?
- 0:53SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: Isn't that insane?
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: I was so nervous that we were gonna start this podcast and then it'd be like three episodes, and then we just kind of like give up.
- 1:00SPEAKER_03: No, I thought, yeah.
- 1:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but I hey.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: Let's take a break.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: Okay, guys, there's so much to catch up on.
- 1:09SPEAKER_02: So me and Lauren went to La La Palooza this past weekend, which is a music festival.
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: Let's well, the festival was the best.
- 1:21SPEAKER_02: We have a big fat juicy bone to pick with the city of Chicago.
- 1:25SPEAKER_03: Every single individual in Chicago.
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: I want to start off by saying this.
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: This does not count towards so we had one of my best friends, Alexis, and then her sisters showed us around in Chicago.
- 1:36SPEAKER_02: That was my favorite day in Chicago because they showed us like we're same.
- 1:40SPEAKER_02: I don't know if somebody took a doodle in everybody in Chicago's cereal each morning.
- 1:50SPEAKER_02: Oh, ring her on.
- 1:52SPEAKER_02: The morning.
- 1:53SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: The morning that we were in Chicago.
- 1:56SPEAKER_02: But I'm telling you guys, every and here's okay, this could be a true serum.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: Me, us individually, I've always been this way.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: You've always been this way.
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: So even more so if it's us together, we are everybody's like favorite customer.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: Oh, like.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: And not like in a pick me way.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: If we can tell that the waiter or waitress or whoever is like really not in the mood, we'll we let them be.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: But we are like the type to like our waitresses at and our waiters at every restaurant in Tulsa, they know us.
- 2:24SPEAKER_03: Like we we follow them on Instagram, like we're like best friends.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: We love them.
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: If it's an Uber driver, if it's the front desk lady at a hotel, like no matter what it is, we are everybody's favorite customer.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: And nothing pisses me off more than when a waiter or waitress or whatever does not seize that opportunity with them.
- 2:42SPEAKER_03: They don't steward it well.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: And it and it, but it's actually like the opposite.
- 2:46SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: Because I'm like, oh, what this could have been.
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: You'll never know, you'll never know what this could have been.
- 2:50SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 2:51SPEAKER_03: Like they could have been invited to my birthday, like everything.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: Here's the thing, most of these people probably will still be invited to Lauren's birthday, the way her invites go.
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: But like it really, like literally, like, okay, so like let's just like share some examples.
- 3:04SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 3:04SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 3:05SPEAKER_02: Actually, you know what?
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: We need to start from the beginning.
- 3:07SPEAKER_03: Can we please start with the channel?
- 3:08SPEAKER_02: Let's start from the travel day to Chicago.
- 3:11SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: So also Aaron, you're gonna have to be honest today, because I have a feeling that today's episode could truly go like an hour long.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: Which I've gotten so many people saying that this podcast needs to be longer.
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: Just throwing that out there.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: But anyway, okay.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: Let's start with the travel day to Chicago.
- 3:24SPEAKER_03: Let's start with the travel day.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: So I just want to put this out there that though I have a neurodivergent brain, right?
- 3:31SPEAKER_03: I try, you know, especially in the last two years, I've tried to be more mindful of my time.
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: You're much more aware.
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: I'm much more aware because it's like it's okay to have quirks, but not one of affects others, you know?
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: And I affected you.
- 3:44SPEAKER_02: She affected me in such a way.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: And like, I do think that like the overarching, like one of one of the overarching themes from this trip is like there was so many times, not like in with each other, but like in moments where like knowing what time something is or whatever, that Lauren was just absolutely all the way wrong.
- 4:02SPEAKER_03: All the way wrong, all the way wrong.
- 4:04SPEAKER_03: To a point that I had to address it and be like, Dom, hey, you've been right this whole trip.
- 4:08SPEAKER_03: You've been right this whole trip.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: And the thing is, is that's not normal.
- 4:10SPEAKER_03: It's like usually a balance in life.
- 4:13SPEAKER_03: It's like, oh, you're like, oh, I'm all the way wrong.
- 4:15SPEAKER_03: But every single occurrence, I was just wrong.
- 4:17SPEAKER_03: We admit when we're wrong.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:19SPEAKER_03: I was wrong every single time.
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: So starting with this, Dom gets to my house at 3 45 and he is just ready to go, everything.
- 4:30SPEAKER_03: I woke up at 3 40.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: And I'm not even this is not an exaggeration, no, no comedic effects.
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: Not packed.
- 4:37SPEAKER_03: Not packed.
- 4:38SPEAKER_03: It's because I thought I could be cute and take a little two-hour nap.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: I was like, I'm like, I'm so tired.
- 4:43SPEAKER_03: I don't want to be bobbed out.
- 4:45SPEAKER_03: I was just like so tired.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: At what time were you doing that?
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: One o'clock.
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: 1 a.m.
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: So I took a nap and I woke up at 3 40 to Dom's text that said, I'm here.
- 4:55SPEAKER_03: I went and grabbed every single clothing item I've I've ever owned, ever created on this planet.
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: I took it and I threw it into my bag, took my toilet trees, my toothbrush didn't have a cover, threw it in the bag, no toothpaste, no face wash, nothing.
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: And here's the thing.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: I didn't know, but I she walks out, bag, suitcase still open.
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: She's just holding it together like this.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: It was like, yeah, like a this and back with that one straight strand.
- 5:26SPEAKER_02: Have we brought up the straight strand?
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: We haven't.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: So something lore.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: Is it a what is it?
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: Like a nervous tick or something?
- 5:30SPEAKER_03: It is an anxious tick.
- 5:31SPEAKER_02: If I'm anxious, there's this strand of hair in the back of her hair that she pulls.
- 5:36SPEAKER_03: So she has like it's like I'll do this.
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: She has like this stra it's every time she's ordering food at a restaurant or like whatever.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: Like there's a straight strand of hair that she's been tugging on for like decades.
- 5:48SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 5:48SPEAKER_03: And it was down and out.
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: It was down and out and up.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: So I had it like a And I was like, oh hell.
- 5:55SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: So I brought it to the car, literally, suitcase.
- 5:58SPEAKER_03: Because I couldn't, if I folded it, I couldn't even fold it, even partially.
- 6:02SPEAKER_03: I did that.
- 6:03SPEAKER_03: I brought like 16 bags.
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: You guys know racers bags, Walmart bags.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: She had her pillowcase filled with clothes.
- 6:09SPEAKER_03: And I threw it all in the back of Dom's car.
- 6:11SPEAKER_03: I looked at him, I said, I'm sorry.
- 6:13SPEAKER_02: And and and I was like, it's fine.
- 6:15SPEAKER_03: He was fine.
- 6:16SPEAKER_03: As long as you address that.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: I said, I'm sorry.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: One thing about me is like I don't like to be mad about things that can't change.
- 6:20SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: And it's like, this is the moment we're in.
- 6:22SPEAKER_03: And I appreciated that.
- 6:24SPEAKER_02: And so But we had a moment, because here's another thing about Lauren.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: It's no matter what, even on a normal day, you could be going to dinner, you could be going to the airport at 4 a.m.
- 6:31SPEAKER_02: When you arrive to the place that you're going, there's about four things she has to do in the car after you park before you walk in.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: So I'm the type where I'm like, we get to wherever we're going, it's parked, I'm out, I'm on my way in.
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: Lauren has about four things she has to do.
- 6:44SPEAKER_02: So you're waiting.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: So I look at her and I go, Do I move to the back?
- 6:48SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 6:49SPEAKER_02: And like start figuring all that out now.
- 6:50SPEAKER_03: So I moved to the back, turned on my flashlight, packed my entire bag.
- 6:54SPEAKER_03: This was wonderful.
- 6:55SPEAKER_03: Packed my entire bag, got everything going.
- 6:57SPEAKER_03: We get to the airport.
- 6:59SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 6:59SPEAKER_03: And at this point, I hadn't flown in a little bit of time, and Dom's been like an international traveler like all summer.
- 7:07SPEAKER_03: And I forgot my one thing that I needed to do, which was take my Dremamine.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: Y'all.
- 7:16SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 7:17SPEAKER_02: This story is far from over.
- 7:19SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 7:20SPEAKER_03: So we get there.
- 7:22SPEAKER_02: Dremamine is a nausea medicine, if y'all know.
- 7:24SPEAKER_03: So we get there, and okay, I just want to say this too.
- 7:28SPEAKER_03: I have been such a beautiful, mysterious girl in Tulsa for years.
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm married, so I don't really care what y'all think about me.
- 7:36SPEAKER_03: But this will destroy every ounce of beauty I've ever had.
- 7:40SPEAKER_03: Any ounce of mystery.
- 7:42SPEAKER_03: Like, this is a truly disgusting story.
- 7:45SPEAKER_03: So I just need to preface that.
- 7:46SPEAKER_03: Like, um, just go ahead and grieve how beautiful I was, okay?
- 7:52SPEAKER_03: So, okay, here's the moment.
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: So I get on the plane and I need to go to the sleep.
- 7:56SPEAKER_03: I'm just like, I'm like, wow, I ruined Dom's morning.
- 7:59SPEAKER_03: I was like, he didn't have time to get his little bagel with uh cream cheese.
- 8:02SPEAKER_03: Like, he didn't have time for me because.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: I like to, I get my anxious flyer, so I just try to look at it as like a whole experience.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: Like, I want to get a bagel, I want to get a beverage.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: She makes it a morning.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: And he couldn't.
- 8:13SPEAKER_03: He didn't even have a second.
- 8:14SPEAKER_03: Then we had to cut the line in TSA to even make it.
- 8:17SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 8:18SPEAKER_03: So we got on the flight.
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, and shout out to the girl who said she likes.
- 8:21SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 8:21SPEAKER_02: Oh, I guess she liked my TikTok.
- 8:23SPEAKER_02: Maybe she listened to the podcast.
- 8:24SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 8:24SPEAKER_03: And if she looked, yeah.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: No, because she was like, I look, I was like, hey, our flight's about to be, can I cut in front of you?
- 8:29SPEAKER_02: And she's like, yeah, I love your content.
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: That's so sweet.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: So shout out to you if you're listening.
- 8:33SPEAKER_03: So sweet for that.
- 8:34SPEAKER_03: So anyway, so I get on the plane and I immediately start to go to sleep.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: And me, I usually have my gum, I have my dremamine, like I'm all ready.
- 8:43SPEAKER_03: But this time I was like, I ruined Dom's morning.
- 8:46SPEAKER_03: I ruined everything.
- 8:47SPEAKER_03: I was like really having my moment.
- 8:48SPEAKER_03: I like put on dreams by Fleetwood Mac, which is my my song.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: Which keep in mind, I was in my premiere seat at the front of Southwest with their new uh it's just for premier seats, but the Mexican wedding cookies.
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: Like I was doing fine.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: Like I was not even upset.
- 9:02SPEAKER_03: Someone was doing great.
- 9:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 9:04SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 9:04SPEAKER_03: I wake up 40 minutes into this flight.
- 9:08SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 9:09SPEAKER_03: And my stomach is.
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: No, hold on.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: Hold on.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: Let's do this.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: I'm sitting there eating the cookies.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: I see this turnt flight attendant run to the front.
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: And I just hear her go, I hear her go, grab a garbage bag, grab a trash bag.
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: And they're like, okay.
- 9:25SPEAKER_02: And they grab a trash bag and they run back.
- 9:26SPEAKER_02: And I was like, oh, I was like, then I was like, something crazy's happened.
- 9:30SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 9:31SPEAKER_03: She's like, oh, some crazy person back there.
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: I was like, some big ugly is doing some work back there.
- 9:37SPEAKER_03: And meanwhile, I look to the girl, and I've already annoyed the girl next to me.
- 9:41SPEAKER_03: She's like scrolling on TikTok, and she was just like sitting there.
- 9:45SPEAKER_03: There was no one in between us.
- 9:46SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, I'm either going to throw up on her right now, or I'm going to do something that I never do.
- 9:53SPEAKER_03: I'm embarrassed.
- 9:55SPEAKER_03: And fart.
- 9:58SPEAKER_03: So I'm just the disgust.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: I can't believe we're talking about farting on a podcast.
- 10:03SPEAKER_02: We need to talk about it.
- 10:04SPEAKER_03: So I decided.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Which also don't fart around me.
- 10:06SPEAKER_03: No, ever.
- 10:07SPEAKER_03: So I decided I decided to fart.
- 10:11SPEAKER_03: And I did twice.
- 10:13SPEAKER_03: Shook the seat.
- 10:15SPEAKER_03: She hurt.
- 10:15SPEAKER_03: She like looked.
- 10:16SPEAKER_03: She made eye contact with me, Dom.
- 10:18SPEAKER_03: She like looked at me.
- 10:19SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 10:20SPEAKER_03: Please, guys.
- 10:21SPEAKER_03: I already feel it fainting.
- 10:22SPEAKER_03: I already feel like 40.
- 10:24SPEAKER_03: I already feel 45 unfollows.
- 10:26unknown: I'm already unfollowed.
- 10:27SPEAKER_03: Before this is even out.
- 10:28SPEAKER_03: 45 unfollows.
- 10:30SPEAKER_03: So I fart twice and I'm like, okay, that solved it, okay?
- 10:34SPEAKER_03: No.
- 10:34SPEAKER_03: The flight attendant.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: Which I'm so glad that I asked for a closer ILC, because if I was next to you, I would be associating this to you for a year.
- 10:41SPEAKER_02: You know my role.
- 10:42SPEAKER_03: Thank God we were separated.
- 10:43SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 10:44SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 10:44SPEAKER_03: The girl next to me like just looked at me.
- 10:46SPEAKER_03: She like looked at me and like rumbling, rumbling, okay?
- 10:50SPEAKER_03: It wasn't enough.
- 10:52SPEAKER_03: I, the flight attendant looked at me, saw me green.
- 10:57SPEAKER_03: She saw me green.
- 10:58SPEAKER_03: Green hair, long strand.
- 11:01SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 11:02SPEAKER_03: The girl was just set up.
- 11:04SPEAKER_03: She said, Do you do you have a barf pad in front?
- 11:07SPEAKER_03: No, you guys didn't restock it.
- 11:08SPEAKER_03: I was like, you guys didn't restock it.
- 11:10SPEAKER_03: She makes a huge scene.
- 11:12SPEAKER_03: Go grab the bag.
- 11:13SPEAKER_03: Go grab it.
- 11:14SPEAKER_03: So that's what I that's what Dom sees.
- 11:16SPEAKER_03: Her sprinting to the front.
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: I'm like, to make it worse, I parted in front of this girl's face twice.
- 11:20SPEAKER_03: And then now you're gonna embarrass me by like making the whole plane, no, I'm gonna throw up.
- 11:24SPEAKER_03: She gives me the bag.
- 11:25SPEAKER_03: I proceed.
- 11:26SPEAKER_03: Okay, here's another 45 loss.
- 11:28SPEAKER_03: I proceed to throw up in this girl's face.
- 11:30SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 11:31SPEAKER_03: I throw up in this little bag like this.
- 11:34SPEAKER_03: And she and the flight attendant is not being sweet at all.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: Okay, they were they were not a good crew.
- 11:41SPEAKER_03: It was there was a bad crew.
- 11:42SPEAKER_03: Oh, they were not a good crew.
- 11:43SPEAKER_03: You want some ginger ale.
- 11:46SPEAKER_03: You want some nausea medicine.
- 11:48SPEAKER_03: Like, and she kept coming back and offering these like sick remedies.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Instead of like quietly going to the front, she'd look at the people and be like, hi, this one needs some trauma.
- 11:59SPEAKER_03: And everything she kept trying to fix me up.
- 12:02SPEAKER_02: Did yell to the caboose?
- 12:03SPEAKER_03: No, it was it was the most mortifying time.
- 12:06SPEAKER_03: So I was refreshing my feed all weekend.
- 12:08SPEAKER_03: I thought the girl to my right, I I mean, I'm not I'm not popular in Tulsa, like I'm not famous in Tulsa.
- 12:14SPEAKER_03: But I was expecting to refresh my feed in the Tulsa MC, like story time of sitting next to this girl who farted and threw up in my face.
- 12:22SPEAKER_03: And so I was just waiting for a story time for her.
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 12:25SPEAKER_03: Anyway, so we landed.
- 12:27SPEAKER_03: Okay, things get better.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: That was so funny.
- 12:29SPEAKER_03: Okay, so as I'm already embarrassed, I'm blushing.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: Before we get into any of this, I just want to say I loved the hotel we stayed at and like what it was next to is amazing.
- 12:39SPEAKER_02: Amazing.
- 12:39SPEAKER_02: Um a core issue with Chicago was like I said, every waitress, every Uber driver, everything.
- 12:44SPEAKER_02: Like it all, and here's the other thing.
- 12:46SPEAKER_02: There was a cheesecake factory right next to our hotel, which you could have told me, you could have told me Jesus returned.
- 12:53SPEAKER_02: Like it was so important to me that that that was there.
- 12:56SPEAKER_03: Literally right 300 feet.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: Jesus was seen.
- 13:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:00SPEAKER_02: Like, show me to me, Rachel.
- 13:02SPEAKER_02: And so we go to the Cheesecake Factory, and there's a whole line of open tables and one couple sitting at this little two-top table.
- 13:11SPEAKER_02: Keep in mind, and same.
- 13:13SPEAKER_03: You know how thin those tables are, too.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: And how not thin these two people were, okay?
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: Which I'm not saying is whatever.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: They just were not fit, they were not small people.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: No, yes.
- 13:25SPEAKER_02: I thought you were referring to us.
- 13:26SPEAKER_02: No, no, and I'm saying you are the way we're not.
- 13:28SPEAKER_02: And I'm not small either at all.
- 13:29SPEAKER_03: I was like, I'm slammed.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: So they seat us at the two top, right next to them.
- 13:35SPEAKER_03: Right next to.
- 13:36SPEAKER_03: There was an aisle full.
- 13:37SPEAKER_02: So I'm like, okay.
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: So they walk away, and I were like, let's just move over one.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: It was like so uh weird that we were like, let's just move over one.
- 13:43SPEAKER_02: So we move over one, the waitress came and I said, Hey, I just want to, and it was the same waitress for both tables.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: I said, Hey, I just want to let you know that like we did move over a table because it was kind of squished.
- 13:51SPEAKER_02: Like, let us know if that's okay.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: She looks at us like this.
- 13:55SPEAKER_03: Um I'll have to go see if that's fine.
- 13:59SPEAKER_02: And runs away.
- 14:00SPEAKER_03: Sprints away.
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: I I was like, She's like, um, and by the way, like, not to sound fat, but we know the the table sections, section off of a cheesecake recording.
- 14:13SPEAKER_03: Like I know, like I saw her cover this one, and I did like a triangular motion, and I knew where to we knew where to sit.
- 14:19SPEAKER_02: And also, even and I said that so that she could say, Can you um we would actually rather you be here?
- 14:26SPEAKER_02: Like, I was down to be like, sorry, like I know that's probably annoying.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: Like, I've worked at a restaurant and I hated when people did that.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we literally were just so close and we were sitting here for a while, so we needed to move over.
- 14:35SPEAKER_03: What was what was validating is after that happened, another table got sat at the same table that we were initially sat on, and they asked to move.
- 14:43SPEAKER_03: As well.
- 14:44SPEAKER_02: As well, and we were like same.
- 14:45SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: So that happened, and the whole entire time, like for example, like Lauren wasn't eating, and I was.
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: So Lauren goes, I don't think I'm gonna get anything.
- 14:53SPEAKER_02: And the waitress goes, So you're not eating?
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: And she's like, Yeah, I just don't want anything.
- 14:57SPEAKER_02: She goes, So you're not ordering.
- 14:59SPEAKER_03: So you don't want any food, really?
- 15:02SPEAKER_02: Also, keep in mind we got an appetizer, I got like a meal to feed thousands.
- 15:05SPEAKER_02: Like the the build is gonna be normal.
- 15:07SPEAKER_02: Like exactly Lauren got a beverage, like it just it there's a spirit of judgmental inquisitive boots on all of the essential workers of Chicago.
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: Every single for example, in the Uber, our friend Emerson was at another hotel in Chicago.
- 15:22SPEAKER_02: She was Ubering to our hotel, and the Uber driver goes, Why am I taking you from one hotel to another hotel?
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: And she's like, Oh, well, uh, well, my friends are staying there.
- 15:31SPEAKER_02: What friends?
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: What friends, and why do you need to go to another hotel?
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: From Tulsa.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: What music festival?
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: La La Palooza.
- 15:38SPEAKER_02: Well, why didn't you just say La La Palooza?
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: And it's like, can you stop?
- 15:43SPEAKER_03: It was every single assassin.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: Like, but it it was everywhere.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: Every restaurant we went to, the way and here's the thing: I understand the New York of it all, where it's like it's like the AM walk in here of it all.
- 15:55SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 15:56SPEAKER_02: You're not New York.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: And I think that was something for Chicago that I just needed to, and for all, like, if this goes viral on the Chicago algorithm algorithm, I just want to say when we ended up like leaving the area and going to like downtown Chicago, that is where I felt I was like, this is what I was wanting.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 16:10SPEAKER_02: We got to go to the bean, we got to go to like that river, like with the boats, and just like it was just like that is what I was wanting.
- 16:16SPEAKER_02: And I and I ended up loving it.
- 16:18SPEAKER_02: But I was just like, Oh my gosh.
- 16:21SPEAKER_02: Is everyone okay?
- 16:22SPEAKER_03: Like, and we can't even forget when we went downtown, we ate at this busted pizza restaurant with these awful named pizzas.
- 16:31SPEAKER_03: It was literally a$200 bill for no reason, and the worst waitress of all time.
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and and again, we don't talk bad about waiters.
- 16:40SPEAKER_02: She literally, every time we spoke, she's like, okay.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: Like that literally, and we were like, is everyone here the meanest person I've ever met?
- 16:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: And and it also is frustrating because it's like, bring back calling it pepperoni pizza.
- 16:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: I don't need to, I don't need it to be called the meaty pig Long John Silver 3,000 from Bethesda, Maryland.
- 16:58SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 16:59SPEAKER_03: At$37 a pop.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: And I'm just, yeah, it's like I and also have some truffle list options.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: I don't need truffle on my pizza.
- 17:07SPEAKER_02: I don't need you to melt pennies and dimes and nickels and put it on my pizza.
- 17:11SPEAKER_02: I don't need to smell like a bank.
- 17:14SPEAKER_03: We love smelling like a bank.
- 17:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: Should we get into our truth serums?
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: Also, oh, also, La La Palooza is one of the most well-ran events that I've ever been to.
- 17:24SPEAKER_02: I'm obsessed with it.
- 17:25SPEAKER_03: It was the best.
- 17:26SPEAKER_03: Truly the best.
- 17:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, I know we're for sake of time.
- 17:30SPEAKER_03: I need to just jog your memory about our shuttle driver.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: Okay, so he's turnt.
- 17:35SPEAKER_03: And I think this is I'm fine with a longer pre pre-truth serum banter because there was just so much.
- 17:40SPEAKER_03: Should go.
- 17:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:42SPEAKER_02: So this is why the the the Venn diagram of bad and turnt really is spiritual.
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: Because there are so many things in life that could infuriate me.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: And this did in the moment.
- 17:53SPEAKER_02: But then when I realized he was turnt, everything shifted.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: That's why.
- 18:00SPEAKER_02: And that's why everyone got mad at me for a few things I said about the Venn diagram.
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: Turnt does not mean bad.
- 18:05SPEAKER_02: Turnt does not mean bad.
- 18:07SPEAKER_03: No.
- 18:07SPEAKER_02: So like back up out of my DMs.
- 18:11SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: Um we are go we are going to the shuttle, and I don't know how the Chicago transit works.
- 18:17SPEAKER_02: We almost missed Sunshine Benz's um set.
- 18:21SPEAKER_02: Due to Lauren being wrong.
- 18:23SPEAKER_02: I forgive you.
- 18:24SPEAKER_02: Um, but we didn't realize how we didn't know where to go for the train to get to downtown Chicago because where we were staying was not in downtown Chicago.
- 18:33SPEAKER_02: I looked up on Google where how to get from the hotel to downtown for La Lapalooza.
- 18:40SPEAKER_02: It told me to go to a certain station.
- 18:45SPEAKER_02: The guy who was doing the shuttle wanted to take us to a place called Hensdale.
- 18:49SPEAKER_02: If we were to get brought to Hensdale, I would not know have known where to go.
- 18:52SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 18:53SPEAKER_02: So I just said, hey, I literally said, hey, you will know more than me.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: I just want to double check because I don't live here.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: You do, so I I do trust you, but I just want to double check.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: I looked up where to go.
- 19:02SPEAKER_02: It says that we should go to this station.
- 19:03SPEAKER_02: He goes, We're going to Hinsdale.
- 19:07SPEAKER_02: And he's walking, he's walking fi, fi, faux, fum.
- 19:11SPEAKER_02: And I go, Oh, I and again, I'm not gonna immediately go to being combative because I want to give somebody, I want to make sure somebody's being awful before I retaliate because this tongue is a knife.
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: And I want to give chances.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: So I go, oh, okay.
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: I go, it just it said to go to this one.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: So I was just making sure because I won't know where to go.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: And he goes, We're going to Hensdale because I said we're going to Hensdale.
- 19:38SPEAKER_03: Turnt.
- 19:39SPEAKER_02: Here's the thing, I had not realized he was turned yet.
- 19:42SPEAKER_03: And it ruined Dom's morning.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: Literally.
- 19:46SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: I saw red.
- 19:48SPEAKER_02: Like I and I didn't say anything to him because I honestly did not want to like ruin the day.
- 19:55SPEAKER_02: And I didn't, I honestly didn't want to be even mean to him, whether or not I felt like he deserved it or not.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: I like crashed out to myself by myself, like hard.
- 20:05SPEAKER_02: And I literally was like about and I had already come to terms with the fact that everyone in Chicago was being so mean to me for no reason that I I literally maybe I was just giving tourists and maybe they're just not about that.
- 20:16SPEAKER_02: I hate that.
- 20:16SPEAKER_02: But like I I literally was like, I hate everyone here.
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: Yes, everyone here.
- 20:23SPEAKER_03: That car ride, I didn't even want to look at Dom.
- 20:26SPEAKER_02: But then, and here's the thing.
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm in a vest, it's unzipped because I'm going to a music festival.
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: I have a neck handkerchief on.
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I can't argue with me when I look like I'm about to run the Safari Joe's.
- 20:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:39SPEAKER_02: I can't even be mad at you right now.
- 20:41SPEAKER_03: At all.
- 20:41SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
- 20:43SPEAKER_02: But then I realized he was turned.
- 20:45SPEAKER_03: That change.
- 20:45SPEAKER_03: You really turnt on Monday.
- 20:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, our last day.
- 20:49SPEAKER_02: And then I loved him.
- 20:50SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: I loved him.
- 20:52SPEAKER_03: I love how he's like, I'm gonna do what I want, and you're just gonna have to do it.
- 20:56SPEAKER_03: And then you're gonna have to tip me on it.
- 20:57SPEAKER_02: I don't care if you're the customer.
- 20:58SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 20:59SPEAKER_03: Love that.
- 21:00SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 21:01SPEAKER_02: Should we get into our truth serums?
- 21:03SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 21:03SPEAKER_02: Okay, our truth serums are just some things we've wanted to get off our chest.
- 21:06SPEAKER_02: It can be at about anything.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: And I feel like I've been twalking.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: So Lauren, go first.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 21:12SPEAKER_02: Every time you're like, no, you.
- 21:13SPEAKER_02: So no, you go.
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: And I'm gonna I'm gonna lozenge.
- 21:16SPEAKER_03: You lozenge.
- 21:18SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 21:19SPEAKER_03: So for me, I use me and Dom use the term BOPT often.
- 21:25SPEAKER_03: And I just want to teach you guys that today.
- 21:27SPEAKER_03: So my true serum is admit when you're bopped.
- 21:30SPEAKER_02: So BOP BOPT B-O-P-P-E-D.
- 21:33SPEAKER_03: B-O-P-P-E-D.
- 21:34SPEAKER_03: And go ahead, you I want you to go ahead and give the summary of what BOPD is because we started it a decade ago with Alex Haywood.
- 21:42SPEAKER_03: Or maybe even longer.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: So the origin story, no, the origin it comes from high school.
- 21:45SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: So I did this in high school.
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: Um so there are so I remember one time Nene Leaks and she said, and I quote, I'm gonna give you this.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: I misquoted it like a few weeks later, and I was, I'm gonna give you something bop.
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: I don't know why I thought she said bop.
- 22:06SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 22:07SPEAKER_02: And then I was like, Bob, I like that.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: And then I went back and saw that Nene didn't say that.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: And I was like, wait, but I like Bobbed.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: And then and then this is like stupid backstory.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: But then one time Aubrey, my friend Aubrey from high school, she sent me a photo and her glasses were a little sideways.
- 22:19SPEAKER_02: I was like, why are glasses bobbed?
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: And we laughed for days.
- 22:23SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: Literally days.
- 22:25SPEAKER_02: And that's when we came with, came up with BOPT.
- 22:29SPEAKER_02: And every time, and it literally like and not Bop as in like, oh, this song is a Bop.
- 22:34SPEAKER_02: That is, I did not make that up.
- 22:36SPEAKER_03: Or BOP in the Gen Z term for like skank, whatever.
- 22:40SPEAKER_03: I've never even heard of that.
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:41SPEAKER_03: Nothing like that.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: I'm not claiming I'm not claiming that I made up that bopped in the sense of like, I'm just bopped today, or you look bopped, or that's bopped as in like just like bad.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: It looks like it's been beat.
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: It's been um bopped.
- 22:55SPEAKER_03: And Dom taught me this in like literally 10 years ago, and I use it every single day.
- 23:01SPEAKER_03: And so when I say like admit you're bopped, it changes everything.
- 23:05SPEAKER_03: So if I look to Dom and I'm just like, hey, I'm bopped today.
- 23:09SPEAKER_03: Like it just show, it shows him, it tells him what kind of mood I'm in, what kind of day I've had.
- 23:15SPEAKER_02: And it's such a good word, too.
- 23:16SPEAKER_02: Like all my friends in Tulsa use are like, oh, it was bopped.
- 23:19SPEAKER_02: Today was bopped, this meeting was bopped, or like that venue was bopped, that dinner was bopped, that person looks bopped.
- 23:24SPEAKER_02: I look bopped.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: Your outfits bopped.
- 23:26SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 23:27SPEAKER_03: So if you do that, it it kind of goes into just setting expectations for the day.
- 23:32SPEAKER_03: Like I woke up like that four 3 50 a.m.
- 23:35SPEAKER_03: when I came with my sandwich suitcase.
- 23:37SPEAKER_02: And I'm just I just had to let you know I'm bopped.
- 23:39SPEAKER_03: I'm bopped.
- 23:40SPEAKER_02: And when you know someone's bopped, it's like, okay, I'm so glad that I have a correct reading of the room right now.
- 23:44SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 23:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 23:45SPEAKER_03: And it's like, because you don't want to like put a bopping on somebody, you know what I mean?
- 23:50SPEAKER_03: Like without them addressing it first.
- 23:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 23:52SPEAKER_03: So I don't want to be like, oh, you're bopped today.
- 23:54SPEAKER_02: And it's like you need to realize you're bop before others realize you're boped.
- 23:57SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 23:58SPEAKER_03: So it's just setting expectations, getting deep, setting expectations, letting people know.
- 24:03SPEAKER_03: And you guys can coin the phrase.
- 24:05SPEAKER_03: There's a couple of phrases you say on here that I've been um getting DMs and be like, I've started using this, and I love that we want that.
- 24:12SPEAKER_03: My memory recalls.
- 24:13SPEAKER_03: Oh, wait, are you trying to put me on the spot?
- 24:15SPEAKER_02: No, I genuinely was curious.
- 24:17SPEAKER_02: No, I genuinely was like, oh, that's so sweet.
- 24:20SPEAKER_03: No, I I'm not making it.
- 24:21SPEAKER_02: When somebody is too inquisitive.
- 24:24SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, I work in Chicago now.
- 24:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 24:27SPEAKER_02: No, I genuinely was just curious.
- 24:29SPEAKER_02: No, but BOPT is one of those terms that even in the last week I've used and someone's been like, what does that mean?
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: And I'm like Exactly.
- 24:33SPEAKER_03: So we have the teaching.
- 24:34SPEAKER_02: I'm like, what?
- 24:34SPEAKER_03: Admit you're BOPT.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, admit you're Bobbed.
- 24:37SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 24:37SPEAKER_02: Mine goes a little hand in hand with our pre our pre-truth serum banter, our PTS PTSB.
- 24:45SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 24:46SPEAKER_02: Ptsd, pre-truth serum dialogue.
- 24:49SPEAKER_03: PT Ooh, but people are gonna get triggered by that.
- 24:52SPEAKER_03: I don't like that.
- 24:52SPEAKER_03: Okay, sorry.
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: It's just a moment to be witty.
- 24:55SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 24:57SPEAKER_02: I hate the word whimsy, by the way.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: Sorry, that's not my truth serum, but I did when I said witty, I thought of whimsy.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: If you are above the age of 25 using the word whimsy, I'm gonna need you to hit rewards.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: That's half your following.
- 25:08SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 25:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 25:09SPEAKER_02: It's tough.
- 25:09SPEAKER_02: They're gonna make that.
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: Here's my truth serum.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: I don't need my flight attendant to be a stand-up comedian.
- 25:19SPEAKER_02: I feel such something, and a feeling that I feel a lot in my life is secondhand embarrassment.
- 25:25SPEAKER_02: And whenever a flight attendant, it's it's 4 a.m.
- 25:28SPEAKER_02: Lauren's throwing up in the back.
- 25:29SPEAKER_02: I haven't had my Mexican wedding cookies yet.
- 25:32SPEAKER_02: Like I'm on the verge of a panic attack as we're about to flight, fly.
- 25:36SPEAKER_02: And then my um flight attendant is gonna get on the mic and say, Hey, you in the security aisles, you're you better listen up because we don't trust you.
- 25:51SPEAKER_03: They said that on the flight, and I literally was like I would prefer that than the flight attendant I had on the way back from Chicago.
- 25:59SPEAKER_03: The mean, super mean one that I had.
- 26:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah, she was so mean.
- 26:03SPEAKER_03: She was so mean.
- 26:04SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 26:05SPEAKER_03: Trash.
- 26:06SPEAKER_03: I see that trash.
- 26:07SPEAKER_03: Gimme it.
- 26:08SPEAKER_03: Gimme it.
- 26:09SPEAKER_02: It's like, are you gonna tase me?
- 26:10SPEAKER_03: No, literally, she had a taser out.
- 26:12SPEAKER_02: I just don't, and the there's some that have like, and here's the thing.
- 26:14SPEAKER_02: I love when people are bringing joy into the world when it's like, you know, there's been times where like they do it and there's a crowd where it's like, you know, they're laughing, and it's people who use the word whimsy.
- 26:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're all laughing.
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: Their whimsy radar is on, so they're like, okay, we can do this.
- 26:27SPEAKER_02: But when they do it and no one laughs and it's 4 a.m., I feel this need to yell, yell, yell, yell flee, flee, flee.
- 26:35SPEAKER_02: Laugh for them.
- 26:37SPEAKER_02: But I'm like, don't put me through that at 4 a.m., please.
- 26:40SPEAKER_02: Get a reading of the room.
- 26:42SPEAKER_02: And if you feel like this is the crowd to do it in, then do it.
- 26:44SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: I also don't like a flight attendant who takes that as their like that's their opportunity to like have power, which is like that woman that we had.
- 26:52SPEAKER_02: And it's like, it's they're gonna be like the one that tells it like it is.
- 26:56SPEAKER_02: Oh, and I'm like the mama, and I'm like, I don't, I don't need that.
- 27:00SPEAKER_02: I don't need that.
- 27:01SPEAKER_02: I want you to be cool.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: I want you to slip me the Mexican wedding cookies on the side, maybe a few extra bags.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: I want you to give me my the wired headphones for free, and I want us to have banter and I want us to laugh.
- 27:12SPEAKER_03: And it'd be organic.
- 27:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: And when there's a Karen in the back, like you and I can talk about it.
- 27:17SPEAKER_02: Like we can have a really good dynamic here.
- 27:19SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 27:19SPEAKER_02: But I just, yeah, I anytime it just I get I get I feel the need to be their audience in that moment.
- 27:26SPEAKER_02: And I don't love that.
- 27:27SPEAKER_03: But you and I love we we don't love it, but we have to carry for someone when we feel like it's like their jokes are falling flat.
- 27:34SPEAKER_03: We have to extra fwe few fui.
- 27:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and fwoo fwe-f wee is just like when something's not funny, just go fwe, we f we few.
- 27:41SPEAKER_02: But I love a turnt flight attendant.
- 27:43SPEAKER_02: Like, there's like some like random lines that I've heard in my life that I that I think about on repeat.
- 27:49SPEAKER_02: And one is I had there was this turnt flight attendant that like like her being a she served, okay?
- 27:54SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 27:55SPEAKER_02: I've been saying this for l this line for literally like six years, you're about to know what I'm gonna say.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: So she walks down with her back and she goes, trash or waste, waste or trash, trash or waste, and I was like, you're like, yeah, you're like they're flirting with me.
- 28:16SPEAKER_02: She was no, yeah, she was giving like the the secretary that Mr.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: Incredible cheats on Alastagirl with in the first movie.
- 28:21SPEAKER_03: Cheats?
- 28:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 28:24SPEAKER_02: That movie is about infidelity.
- 28:27SPEAKER_02: And she finds the hair on his suit.
- 28:31SPEAKER_02: Missed The Incredibles one.
- 28:33SPEAKER_02: He goes on that trip and Alastagirl thinks he's cheating on her.
- 28:36SPEAKER_03: Oh, thanks.
- 28:37SPEAKER_03: I thought you said he did cheat.
- 28:38SPEAKER_03: I was like, no, he didn't.
- 28:39SPEAKER_02: Or I mean she gets a little I don't know.
- 28:41SPEAKER_02: He could have he could have stood his ground a little more.
- 28:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, probably.
- 28:44SPEAKER_02: Let's keep it moving.
- 28:46SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 28:46SPEAKER_02: Let's go into our weekly dose, which is our uh which is headlines from the week that we care about.
- 28:51SPEAKER_02: And we're gonna go on 1.5x.
- 28:53SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 28:54SPEAKER_03: Do you want to start?
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 28:57SPEAKER_02: A very confusing story that I didn't understand until this morning, but I'm very excited about nonetheless.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: The voice is going celebrity for season 31.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: And here's who's in.
- 29:07SPEAKER_02: NBC is shaking up the voice with its first celebrity-only season, hosted by Kiki Palmer.
- 29:13SPEAKER_03: Amazing.
- 29:14SPEAKER_02: Which we called.
- 29:15SPEAKER_03: We called.
- 29:15SPEAKER_02: Which I was talking about having like a like a Kelly Clarkson show.
- 29:18SPEAKER_02: Like she needs that, but we'll take this.
- 29:21SPEAKER_02: And coached by Joe Jonas, Queen Latifa, and Riley Green.
- 29:25SPEAKER_03: Oh my goodness.
- 29:26SPEAKER_02: Joe Jonas, Queen Latifa, and Kiki Palmer are on the same show.
- 29:29SPEAKER_03: Amazing.
- 29:30SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 29:31SPEAKER_02: But instead of Undiscovered Singers, this is where I got upset.
- 29:34SPEAKER_02: Celebrities from reality TV, acting, music, sports, and social media will compete for the title.
- 29:39SPEAKER_03: So kind of like a masked singer.
- 29:41SPEAKER_02: But it's unmasked, which I think is wise because I want to know who I'm watching so that I can care.
- 29:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 29:47SPEAKER_02: The game of Masked Singer is fun, but I actually think that this is an incredible show idea.
- 29:52SPEAKER_02: The first rumored um person to be on is Ariana Maddox.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 29:56SPEAKER_02: Which I think is like, I love that.
- 29:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 29:57SPEAKER_02: Which also, like, I know that the show probably is already filmed, but put Tom Sandoval on as well.
- 30:02SPEAKER_03: Is he a great singer?
- 30:03SPEAKER_02: I know she doesn't want to be on with Tom Sandoval because you know she's like the sandal, she's the girl in Sandoval.
- 30:07SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, it's kind of cheat on.
- 30:08SPEAKER_02: But he would lose and she would win.
- 30:10SPEAKER_02: And I just want her to, I want her to beat him in something.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: I like that.
- 30:13SPEAKER_02: Um other than just like life itself.
- 30:15SPEAKER_02: Um, but I think this is a I was so sad because I was about to audition for The Voice for the first time, and then I found out it was for celebrities.
- 30:21SPEAKER_02: And I was like, oh.
- 30:22SPEAKER_02: I mean, is it I have 20k on Instagram.
- 30:25SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 30:26SPEAKER_03: Is that kill?
- 30:26SPEAKER_02: Or on on uh TikTok.
- 30:28SPEAKER_02: It does.
- 30:28SPEAKER_03: You're famous to me.
- 30:29SPEAKER_02: Oh, perfect.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: So they can put me on.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: They're gonna be like, who's this guy?
- 30:32SPEAKER_03: No, exactly.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: But I think that this show, like I think this show is such a good idea.
- 30:35SPEAKER_02: I am sat.
- 30:36SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna be watching.
- 30:37SPEAKER_02: I think that and that it's so fun to think.
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: If this is like the same setup as the voice, like these coaches are going to turn and then like they'll be able to like coach these people.
- 30:47SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 30:47SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm gonna be watching a world possibly where like Queen Latifah, oh my god, Joe Jonas and Ariana Maddox.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: Joe Jonas and Ariana Maddox.
- 30:56SPEAKER_03: To date?
- 30:57SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 30:57SPEAKER_02: Okay, she has a boyfriend.
- 30:59SPEAKER_03: Oh, they'll break up by the show.
- 31:00SPEAKER_02: But they've been together for a while and he's he's they'll break up by the show.
- 31:03SPEAKER_02: But I would love that.
- 31:04SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 31:05SPEAKER_03: You know who they should have had instead of Riley Green, and don't get upset.
- 31:09SPEAKER_02: Guys, I just don't know who Riley Green is.
- 31:10SPEAKER_02: I don't know who he is.
- 31:11SPEAKER_02: I'm not the demographic.
- 31:12SPEAKER_03: They should have had Kendrick Lamar.
- 31:13SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, I would have loved it.
- 31:15SPEAKER_03: It should have been, yeah, Kiki as a host, Queen Letifa, Kendrick Lamar, and Joe Jonas.
- 31:20SPEAKER_02: That would have been insane.
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: It would have broke everything.
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: It would have been, and it would have been four people of color.
- 31:25SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 31:26SPEAKER_03: Joe Jonas?
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: He's from New Jersey.
- 31:28SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
- 31:30SPEAKER_03: That's so true.
- 31:31SPEAKER_02: I'm from New Jersey, so that's why I said that.
- 31:32SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 31:34SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 31:35SPEAKER_03: This might be a little dated now, but this is my favorite.
- 31:38SPEAKER_03: So Michaela Nagera, she got a divorce.
- 31:42SPEAKER_03: It finalized.
- 31:43SPEAKER_03: It finalized.
- 31:44SPEAKER_03: And I've never seen Where Michaela stands.
- 31:47SPEAKER_03: Okay, and have you okay, just for the people that don't know, you guys need to look up Michaela Negera.
- 31:52SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: And she's like, She's the Kim Catassian.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: Sweet hat.
- 31:56SPEAKER_03: She is the most turnt woman in the world.
- 31:59SPEAKER_03: She is sometimes really out of touch with reality.
- 32:02SPEAKER_03: The thing I like about her though is I think she started as an Ultra employee and then she got super famous on like TikTok, Instagram, which is turnt on 20, like 2020, something like that.
- 32:14SPEAKER_03: And so she lived a life of just being one of us.
- 32:18SPEAKER_03: And then she now has millions and millions and likes to buy like Birkin bags and likes to buy like ugly stuff.
- 32:24SPEAKER_03: And like, you know what I mean?
- 32:25SPEAKER_03: She uses her money just in a really like, I don't know, she just buys stupid stuff.
- 32:30SPEAKER_03: But I like it.
- 32:31SPEAKER_02: I love her.
- 32:32SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 32:33SPEAKER_03: I people get mad at her.
- 32:34SPEAKER_02: Her biggest cancellation was like the I using like the filters of the eyelashes.
- 32:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 32:39SPEAKER_02: Which I'm not the demographic, so I don't I understand why the how that can maybe be misleading, and you're selling products and you're like lying, and I think that that's wrong.
- 32:47SPEAKER_02: I do feel like just from an outsider perspective, people just like really came at her and people are so mean to her.
- 32:53SPEAKER_03: They're and I just don't think that she deserves that.
- 32:55SPEAKER_03: And and she'll get canceled.
- 32:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 32:58SPEAKER_03: Literally anything.
- 32:58SPEAKER_03: But she, I think she is just so herself.
- 33:01SPEAKER_03: I love this.
- 33:02SPEAKER_03: Is one thing I want to teach you guys too.
- 33:04SPEAKER_03: I love anyone who I can tell is just themselves.
- 33:07SPEAKER_03: Even if they're insane, annoying, whatever.
- 33:10SPEAKER_02: Not if they're like racist bigots, but if you're just like you're yourself.
- 33:13SPEAKER_03: But if you're you're yourself, I don't want a curated personality of someone, and then I'm just like, this is not you.
- 33:19SPEAKER_03: She's literally her through and through, and that's probably like her.
- 33:21SPEAKER_03: I love her.
- 33:22SPEAKER_03: So she got a divorce, already pops out with a new man, and uses like literally on the day she finalized divorce, she like literally propelled her next man into the scene.
- 33:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 33:32SPEAKER_03: And so I do want everyone to take a second and consider being private with your relationship because you won't have as many.
- 33:41SPEAKER_03: Because like people are already tearing him apart.
- 33:43SPEAKER_03: The second she launched him, they're already bringing them down.
- 33:46SPEAKER_03: So like just keep some things off the internet.
- 33:48SPEAKER_03: Like your relationship is too precious to have be exploited.
- 33:53SPEAKER_02: Also, stop tear stop like searching people up and finding things out about them and posting them and breaking tearing them down like right when you meet them.
- 34:00SPEAKER_02: Like the world is it is awful.
- 34:02SPEAKER_02: Makes me so mad.
- 34:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they'll skyrocketrocket you just uh it just can never be me.
- 34:08SPEAKER_02: Michaela, we love you.
- 34:09SPEAKER_02: Yes, imagine being the influenza for a day.
- 34:12SPEAKER_02: Um this next story is one I was gonna steer away from today and just not talk about it.
- 34:18SPEAKER_02: But it's just like undeniable.
- 34:19SPEAKER_02: Um Perez Hilton hospitalized after apparent self-harm during TikTok live stream.
- 34:25SPEAKER_02: Oh I'm gonna say this right now, and I actually, this is not me being funny, and this is not for banter or whatever.
- 34:31SPEAKER_02: Do not look up the video.
- 34:34SPEAKER_02: Don't watch the video.
- 34:35SPEAKER_03: And I didn't because you told me not to.
- 34:37SPEAKER_02: Made the mistake of looking it up and watching, I could not make it past two seconds.
- 34:44SPEAKER_02: It is genuinely a dark, it is a it is a demonic video.
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: It is the scary I'm already scared of him.
- 34:53SPEAKER_02: I've been scared of him since I was like seven, him and Michael Jackson.
- 34:56SPEAKER_02: Um and I'm very scared.
- 34:58SPEAKER_02: I don't know why I'm afraid of Michael Jackson.
- 35:00SPEAKER_02: It's just a fear that I've had since I was like seven.
- 35:02SPEAKER_03: Okay, well, we'll I'll work on it, y'all.
- 35:04SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 35:04SPEAKER_02: And that's not it's not because I don't like him.
- 35:06SPEAKER_02: Like I just I would have like nightmares about him when I was a kid.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: I don't know why.
- 35:08SPEAKER_03: Oh, because the media was so awful.
- 35:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think it I think genuinely just because of the media, and my mom loved him, so I always would hear about stuff of Michael Jackson.
- 35:17SPEAKER_02: So I just always was like very afraid of him.
- 35:18SPEAKER_02: I don't know why.
- 35:19SPEAKER_02: Um, anyway, um, no shade.
- 35:21SPEAKER_02: I really he's a legend.
- 35:23SPEAKER_02: Um, but Peresal, and I already was so afraid of him growing up.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: Every time I saw him, like I would have chills down my spine.
- 35:28SPEAKER_02: This video is even if you it is just so awful and disgusting.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: And I found out his kids were not in the house, which makes me glad.
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: Because that was the first thing that I thought of.
- 35:37SPEAKER_02: But it is interesting because he like recently was like turning to God, and I'm like, it's interesting because like sometimes when people turn to God, it feels almost like a psychotic break, like they're having a psychotic break, so they become Christians.
- 35:47SPEAKER_02: Like, I feel like we've talked about that.
- 35:49SPEAKER_02: Um, which like makes me sad because I wish that like wasn't the case.
- 35:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 35:52SPEAKER_02: But this is just like it is and here's the thing there is a little bit of an irony in like the like the house of Perez Hilton being like, please respect his privacy in this time, because he did not do that to so many women during his career, and that's what he built his career on.
- 36:12SPEAKER_02: That doesn't change the fact that I still think he's owed, you know, privacy and respect right now, just as much as I feel about all those women because he has kids.
- 36:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 36:20SPEAKER_02: And I know that people won't, and I don't, and you know, I'm just saying, like, everyone who's like looking it up and watching the video now, children are gonna watch this video on Twitter and whatever.
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: Like, I just like don't watch the video, like I can't get over it.
- 36:32SPEAKER_03: Like it's not everything is meant to be seen with our human.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and even talking about it right now, like I was like, people are probably gonna go watch the video.
- 36:39SPEAKER_02: I cannot stress it enough.
- 36:41SPEAKER_02: Don't watch the video.
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: Yes, like just don't.
- 36:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that was the same thing with like the Epstein files and things like that.
- 36:47SPEAKER_03: I was just like, let me like genuinely pray that I have just like a shielding on my eyes, and like the curiosity is like limited because I did not want to keep digging and digging, digging.
- 36:58SPEAKER_03: There's just so much that we're not meant to see, yeah.
- 37:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I'm not one to like want to turn a blind eye on anything.
- 37:03SPEAKER_02: Like, if it was like somebody somebody was doing, and we have the power to like vote them in or vote them out, like we need to be educated and informed on everything.
- 37:09SPEAKER_02: But something like Press Hilton, where it's like us like it's seeing it is really not gonna change anything other than negatively, yeah, just don't watch it.
- 37:16SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 37:16SPEAKER_02: But I do hope apparently he's like being hospitalized and he's not dead.
- 37:21SPEAKER_02: Okay, so anyway, okay.
- 37:25SPEAKER_03: That was heavy.
- 37:26SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 37:27SPEAKER_03: Did you see that thing with Wendy, like after Wendy Williams had all of her stuff?
- 37:31SPEAKER_03: This is so different than Pris Hilton.
- 37:33SPEAKER_03: Um, whenever she said, I would ask y'all to respect my privacy.
- 37:36SPEAKER_02: But I don't respect y'all's privacy.
- 37:38SPEAKER_03: That's why I do the hot topics.
- 37:40SPEAKER_02: That's why we do the hot topics.
- 37:41SPEAKER_03: Hot topics.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: I love her.
- 37:43SPEAKER_03: I love her so much.
- 37:45SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 37:46SPEAKER_03: My next one is Tom Holland and Zendaya's wedding details um are dominating the internet this week.
- 37:54SPEAKER_02: And did they get married for sure?
- 37:56SPEAKER_03: Yes, they got married.
- 37:57SPEAKER_03: Wait, for sure?
- 37:58SPEAKER_03: I think so, right, Erin?
- 38:00SPEAKER_03: Yep, they got married, and it was just a very like intimate celebration, an ultra-private wedding.
- 38:08SPEAKER_02: I love them.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: Me too.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: Is there something about potatoes in the Spider-Man movie?
- 38:14SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 38:16SPEAKER_02: Because I'm just seeing big potatoes specifically big or small potatoes caring about a big potato or a small potato?
- 38:23SPEAKER_03: I don't know, but I'm tired of seeing it.
- 38:24SPEAKER_03: I don't know what it is.
- 38:25SPEAKER_02: I just feel like I've been seeing a lot of like um I'm tired of potato.
- 38:28SPEAKER_03: I'm tired of potatoes.
- 38:29SPEAKER_02: You're the person you're meant to be with will care about your big potatoes.
- 38:32SPEAKER_03: And I was like, I don't care about potatoes.
- 38:34SPEAKER_02: I was like, what are you talking about right now?
- 38:36SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 38:37SPEAKER_03: But with their wedding, all to say, this is so contradictory to Don't move on from my big potatoes like that.
- 38:45SPEAKER_02: You're like, I don't know.
- 38:46SPEAKER_02: So anyway.
- 38:47SPEAKER_03: I'm so sorry.
- 38:48SPEAKER_03: I was like, no, because I've been seeing that everywhere.
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: I've just got to be a good one.
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: It's small potatoes, just keep going.
- 38:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it is.
- 38:53SPEAKER_03: Um, but this is so contradictory to um Michaela Negera hard-launching her boyfriend on on divorce day, is Tom and Zendaya because they have been able to grow such a wonderful relationship behind the scenes because they have kept it so private.
- 39:10SPEAKER_02: That's how I feel about Timothy and Kylie too.
- 39:12SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 39:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I love them.
- 39:13SPEAKER_03: Which are they uh engaged?
- 39:16SPEAKER_02: I think I get these two relationships mixed up.
- 39:19SPEAKER_02: I think it's rumored engagement, but I still the way I feel about Tom and Zendaya, just like I just love it.
- 39:24SPEAKER_02: And like they've been so intentional that is how I feel about Timothy and Kylie.
- 39:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's how I feel too.
- 39:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yep.
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: So um, as the details kept going out, they're gonna release like small amounts of different things, and like Law Roach is gonna, you know, he's gonna do his thing and be like, I'm not telling y'all too many details.
- 39:42SPEAKER_03: I love La Roach.
- 39:43SPEAKER_03: Me too.
- 39:44SPEAKER_03: I love him.
- 39:45SPEAKER_02: Love.
- 39:46SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 39:46SPEAKER_02: Congrats to them.
- 39:47SPEAKER_02: I love them.
- 39:48SPEAKER_02: I need I still need to see the Spider-Man movie.
- 39:50SPEAKER_02: I'm too busy watching hoppers.
- 39:52SPEAKER_03: Honestly, no, really though.
- 39:54SPEAKER_03: I did fall asleep in the theater.
- 39:56SPEAKER_02: Oh, I also feel a need to like say something.
- 39:58SPEAKER_03: What?
- 39:58SPEAKER_02: Oh wait, I interrupted you.
- 40:00SPEAKER_03: It's okay.
- 40:00SPEAKER_02: You fell asleep doing Spider-Man?
- 40:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:03SPEAKER_02: For how long?
- 40:04SPEAKER_03: Uh about 40 minutes.
- 40:05SPEAKER_02: Did she Okay?
- 40:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, about 40.
- 40:07SPEAKER_02: You need to rewatch it then.
- 40:09SPEAKER_02: Do I three hours?
- 40:10SPEAKER_02: 40 minutes?
- 40:11SPEAKER_03: I know, but I woke up and I saw what I did.
- 40:14SPEAKER_02: But do you care?
- 40:15SPEAKER_03: Um, I cared that Christoph cared.
- 40:17SPEAKER_02: Okay, I understand.
- 40:18SPEAKER_02: Christoph's her husband.
- 40:19SPEAKER_02: Um I feel the need but speaking of Hoppers and the Odyssey, I had someone DM me, Quentin.
- 40:24SPEAKER_02: Shout out Quentin, he's very sweet.
- 40:26SPEAKER_02: But he said, and your DM is there's nothing wrong with your DM, but he was like, he said like worst take ever or something when I said hopper is greater than Odyssey.
- 40:34SPEAKER_02: I want everyone to know that, and this is not towards Quentin, this just made me think of the topic.
- 40:38SPEAKER_02: So this is truly not towards you.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: I think he only watches the clips anyway.
- 40:41SPEAKER_02: Which also, if you only watch the clips and you're in my life, I know that you only watch the clips.
- 40:45SPEAKER_02: Stop lying and saying you watch the show.
- 40:47SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 40:48SPEAKER_02: Um what I was gonna say is this podcast, most of the things that we're saying is just like it's just like funny.
- 40:57SPEAKER_02: We're just we're never lying, but it's just funny.
- 41:00SPEAKER_02: There have been DMs that I've gotten being like questioning who I've been the last 10 years because I made a joke about da-da-da that was two seconds long.
- 41:08SPEAKER_02: Like, it is not that serious.
- 41:10SPEAKER_02: Do I actually believe at the end of the day, Hoppers is a subjectively better movie than The Odyssey?
- 41:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 41:17SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 41:20SPEAKER_02: Let's keep going.
- 41:21SPEAKER_02: Okay, uh, okay, so we're gonna go to the ICU, which the ICU is just something that we like love so much that we've beat to death in our lives, whether it's right now or in our lives, just something we love.
- 41:29SPEAKER_02: It can be current, it can be something that we just always will love, whatever it is.
- 41:32SPEAKER_02: I'll go first.
- 41:33SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 41:33SPEAKER_02: Mine is X Factor.
- 41:35SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 41:36SPEAKER_02: Bring back X Factor.
- 41:37SPEAKER_03: Is this Golden Buzzers?
- 41:39SPEAKER_02: Golden Buzzer is American.
- 41:41SPEAKER_03: Okay, okay.
- 41:41SPEAKER_02: The X Factor is the singing show.
- 41:44SPEAKER_02: I don't like the singing show.
- 41:45SPEAKER_02: Better than The Voice, it's better than American Idol, it's better than America's Got Talent, it is better than all of them.
- 41:52SPEAKER_03: X Factor.
- 41:53SPEAKER_03: X Factor.
- 41:53SPEAKER_02: It was the one that Simon Cow Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato.
- 41:58SPEAKER_03: What a crew.
- 41:59SPEAKER_02: Like it was like it was Nicole Shares.
- 42:02SPEAKER_02: No, me too.
- 42:04SPEAKER_02: And it has really, and here's the thing: in the beginning of American Idol, there was like star-studded, you know, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, you know, whatever.
- 42:11SPEAKER_02: But people need to remember that X Factor brought us Fifth Harmony, which brought us Normani, Camilla Cabello, One Direction.
- 42:20SPEAKER_02: It's the reason we have Harry Styles, Niall Horn, anybody.
- 42:22SPEAKER_02: Little Mix, Leona Lewis, James Arthur, Ollie Murs, Cher Lloyd.
- 42:27SPEAKER_02: Remember all the things that you went?
- 42:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, I did first.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: And now you're doing them with her.
- 42:32SPEAKER_02: Alex and Sierra.
- 42:33SPEAKER_02: Do you remember Alex and Sierra?
- 42:35SPEAKER_02: The guy girl duet they always used to sing, I think, on like Vine.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, like I don't know my name.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: No, it was very um, wish that I could be like the cool kids.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: Like the cool kids.
- 42:46SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 42:47SPEAKER_02: Very whimsy.
- 42:49SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 42:49SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 42:50SPEAKER_02: B.
- 42:50SPEAKER_02: Miller, Beatrice Miller.
- 42:51SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 42:52SPEAKER_02: Rachel Crow.
- 42:53SPEAKER_03: Oh my goodness.
- 42:54SPEAKER_02: I will never forget guy.
- 42:55SPEAKER_03: I'm pretending to know how these.
- 42:56SPEAKER_02: There's some videos that I go back and I watch like once a month.
- 43:00SPEAKER_02: Rachel Crow getting eliminated from the X Factor.
- 43:02SPEAKER_02: When Nicole Schersinger voted as a judge for it to go to its high so that it would be America's vote.
- 43:09SPEAKER_02: And then Rachel Crow goes home and she falls to the ground.
- 43:13SPEAKER_02: Starts crying.
- 43:14SPEAKER_02: Simon Cowell runs up there.
- 43:16SPEAKER_02: Nicole Scherzinger's bawling.
- 43:17SPEAKER_02: Paula Abdullah is like comforting her.
- 43:19SPEAKER_02: It it cinema.
- 43:21SPEAKER_02: Cece Fry.
- 43:22SPEAKER_02: You're not gonna know what any of these people are.
- 43:24SPEAKER_02: Just let me talk.
- 43:24SPEAKER_03: No, I'm letting you see it.
- 43:25SPEAKER_02: CC Fry.
- 43:26SPEAKER_02: She auditions, she starts seeing, oh my.
- 43:31SPEAKER_02: It was like a snooze.
- 43:32SPEAKER_02: She had cheetah print on her face.
- 43:34SPEAKER_02: And then they go, This isn't really matching your look.
- 43:36SPEAKER_02: And she goes, I got something else for you.
- 43:38SPEAKER_02: And then she does the worst run you've ever heard.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: I have so much homework.
- 43:45SPEAKER_02: Everyone just started standing and cheering for her.
- 43:48SPEAKER_02: Turn.
- 43:49SPEAKER_02: Demi Lovato, the bald guy, he comes up in auditions and she says that, like she was very sweetly was like, Um, maybe just singing isn't for you.
- 43:58SPEAKER_02: And he goes, Well, maybe that's why you use audience.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: Autotune and I don't.
- 44:01SPEAKER_02: Have you ever seen that?
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 44:02SPEAKER_02: And then Britney Spears looks at him and she goes, You're just disgusting.
- 44:06SPEAKER_02: Like I feel disgusted by you.
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: Turn.
- 44:09SPEAKER_02: Fifth Harmony going to Simon Cowell's house and singing.
- 44:12SPEAKER_02: It it it it it it's it's just amazing.
- 44:15SPEAKER_03: I love this.
- 44:16SPEAKER_02: It is literally one of it, it brought it really taught you like you had to dance, you had to sing.
- 44:21SPEAKER_02: You had to perform.
- 44:22SPEAKER_03: So they pair people up.
- 44:24SPEAKER_02: Sometimes if they had like if they had like five girls that were all mid, they would like make them a band.
- 44:28SPEAKER_02: If you look back on One Direction's audition videos, they all sucked.
- 44:33SPEAKER_03: Genuinely, maybe you just need to be a band.
- 44:36SPEAKER_02: But then they brought them together and that they became like what they were.
- 44:39SPEAKER_02: I will never forget Fifth Harmony singing anything good happen.
- 44:43SPEAKER_03: Can I say a hot I hate word hot take, but can I say a hot take about One Direction?
- 44:48SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 44:48SPEAKER_03: Who do you think that I think is the best One Directioner?
- 44:52SPEAKER_02: I have my favorite, and I feel like we have the same, actually.
- 44:55SPEAKER_02: Zane.
- 44:55SPEAKER_03: Zayn.
- 44:55SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 44:56SPEAKER_03: Zayn is the best.
- 44:58SPEAKER_02: No, I agree.
- 44:58SPEAKER_02: I love Harry Styles.
- 45:00SPEAKER_02: When when I because I was like someone who went to One Direction concerts, um my favorite at the time was Liam.
- 45:06SPEAKER_02: I thought he had the best voice.
- 45:08SPEAKER_02: Um, and I think that he was great.
- 45:11SPEAKER_02: Um Zane, to me, is the best.
- 45:15SPEAKER_03: He is amazing.
- 45:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think he's really great.
- 45:17SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 45:17SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 45:18SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 45:19SPEAKER_02: X Factor is my ICU.
- 45:21SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 45:22SPEAKER_03: Okay, this is so random.
- 45:25SPEAKER_03: But my ICU, this is gonna be so specific to me and um.
- 45:29SPEAKER_03: My ICU is turnstile concert.
- 45:34SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 45:34SPEAKER_03: Guys, the other day at Lollapalooza, so I think we mentioned that we were invited to Lollapalooza.
- 45:41SPEAKER_03: Like our friend is the photographer.
- 45:43SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 45:44SPEAKER_02: Lollapalooza did not invite us.
- 45:45SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 45:46SPEAKER_02: Discovery.
- 45:47SPEAKER_03: Um, we were invited by Trevor.
- 45:49SPEAKER_02: And who's like my college best friend if you don't know who he is?
- 45:52SPEAKER_03: Yes, and my good friend.
- 45:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 45:53SPEAKER_02: Sorry, I wasn't trying to like compete.
- 45:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's like my I wasn't trying to have a friend, a friend off.
- 45:58SPEAKER_03: A friend off.
- 45:58SPEAKER_02: Uh but yeah, he was my college best friend, and then he is like a photographer now.
- 46:01SPEAKER_03: Yes, we met 12 years ago, instantly hit it off, and we've been close ever since.
- 46:05SPEAKER_02: She said 12 because I only met him 10 years ago.
- 46:07SPEAKER_02: You're really trying to have a friend off with me right now.
- 46:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, have a friend off.
- 46:10SPEAKER_03: Um, but anyway, so he went and I have dissupported him for years, like even.
- 46:15SPEAKER_02: And he loves this podcast, so he deserves a show.
- 46:17SPEAKER_03: I love Trevor so much.
- 46:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah, me too.
- 46:19SPEAKER_03: Anyway, so before this, because we're on the guest list for like turnstile, and before the show, I did listen, but I didn't listen to the level with the level of intentionality that I needed to because I was just like, I just want to know some words, okay?
- 46:35SPEAKER_03: When I went to this concert, I left like Dom and Emerson in the back.
- 46:40SPEAKER_03: We were like kind of in the back.
- 46:41SPEAKER_03: I left them.
- 46:42SPEAKER_03: I was like, I need to get close.
- 46:44SPEAKER_03: I got front row, and what I saw was a masterpiece.
- 46:50SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 46:50SPEAKER_03: This was the most this is like unironic.
- 46:53SPEAKER_02: Like we genuinely like loved it.
- 46:55SPEAKER_03: This was the best concert I've ever been to.
- 46:58SPEAKER_03: This is every single type of person ever, like the most diverse crowd.
- 47:03SPEAKER_03: Like, if you want a campaign for a like a DEI like thing, go to a turnstile concert and you'll have every single thing.
- 47:10SPEAKER_03: Yes, and take a picture and they're there.
- 47:13SPEAKER_02: And the reason why we're saying this is like, because I don't want to come off like we're shocked.
- 47:17SPEAKER_02: The reason why we're saying it like this is because turnstile is, I don't know what they would consider themselves, but they're it's like punk rock heavy metal rock.
- 47:25SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 47:26SPEAKER_02: Which I don't listen to ever.
- 47:27SPEAKER_02: He genuinely, they are all genuinely so talented.
- 47:30SPEAKER_02: His voice is insane.
- 47:32SPEAKER_03: Like the way they connect with their fans.
- 47:34SPEAKER_02: Their fans love them.
- 47:36SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 47:37SPEAKER_03: So there was a whole setup.
- 47:39SPEAKER_03: There was so many emergency personnel there, and they were all lined up because there was a section of the show where people were like crowdsurfing, and there was this 70-year-old man that I met that had went through and he kept saying, like, two more times, let's go.
- 47:55SPEAKER_03: And he kept going back around through the crowd.
- 47:58SPEAKER_02: That man was crowd surfing.
- 47:59SPEAKER_03: He was crowd surfing.
- 47:59SPEAKER_03: That's why he kept coming through.
- 48:01SPEAKER_02: I thought he was standing up front because he was like no a super fake.
- 48:05SPEAKER_03: Maybe it was like a he was crowd surfing.
- 48:08SPEAKER_03: People were lifting him up.
- 48:08SPEAKER_03: He was crowd surfing through.
- 48:10SPEAKER_03: He and they were like Oh my god, his back.
- 48:12SPEAKER_03: No, so my dad's like 70, so he's like they're like young.
- 48:16SPEAKER_02: No, I know, but I would just wow.
- 48:19SPEAKER_03: I mean, it you when you crowdsurf, you're like on a pillow, you're like on a cloud.
- 48:22SPEAKER_03: True.
- 48:23SPEAKER_03: I just would be scared to drop it.
- 48:24SPEAKER_03: He takes such good care of people.
- 48:25SPEAKER_02: They take good care of their families.
- 48:26SPEAKER_02: They they're really familiar.
- 48:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're all one big family.
- 48:29SPEAKER_03: Turnstyle, like the fans, I've never seen a more dedicated, amazing fan base.
- 48:33SPEAKER_03: Like, even someone messaged me on like TikTok about turnstile.
- 48:38SPEAKER_03: Like it is just the best.
- 48:39SPEAKER_03: It's felt spiritual.
- 48:40SPEAKER_03: So if you're in Oklahoma, they have a a concert in Oklahoma City, just wherever you can catch them, ACL, they'll be at ACL, anywhere you can catch them, you need to go to the show because it was the most electric, yeah, amazing show of my life.
- 48:52SPEAKER_02: It's so fun.
- 48:52SPEAKER_03: And I have been talking about it literally since Sunday.
- 48:55SPEAKER_03: I have been listening to all of the songs.
- 48:57SPEAKER_02: Born got a new car, which shout out to her new car by the way.
- 49:00SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 49:00SPEAKER_02: And the first song she listened to was Tarzan.
- 49:02SPEAKER_03: Yes, the best song.
- 49:03SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 49:04SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 49:04SPEAKER_02: I love them.
- 49:05SPEAKER_02: And shout out, Trevor.
- 49:06SPEAKER_02: We love you.
- 49:06SPEAKER_03: We love you, Trevor.
- 49:07SPEAKER_03: And we're so proud of you.
- 49:08SPEAKER_02: Yes, we are.
- 49:09SPEAKER_02: Okay, we're gonna go into our We Need to Talks, which is our advice segment.
- 49:15SPEAKER_02: We have four today.
- 49:16SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 49:16SPEAKER_02: Um, if you want to submit, you can DM us, or if you want to be anonymous, you can email truthserumpodofficial at gmail.com.
- 49:23SPEAKER_02: The real and official email is coming.
- 49:26SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 49:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 49:27SPEAKER_02: Um, first one.
- 49:28SPEAKER_02: So I have this friend who I love to death and would do anything for.
- 49:30SPEAKER_02: Lots of good history.
- 49:31SPEAKER_02: We are still close, but we are in a different we are in different seasons of life.
- 49:34SPEAKER_02: So just keep that in mind.
- 49:36SPEAKER_02: One thing that's been frustrating me is that they keep making small jokes or comments about the place that I currently am involved in and spend a lot of my life at that they used to be at.
- 49:45SPEAKER_02: Is it worth having a conversation?
- 49:47SPEAKER_02: My reasoning about the combo is less about how it's frustrating me and more about how I'm noticing some unhealthy emotions that I personally would want someone to tell me about.
- 49:56SPEAKER_02: I get the vibe that this wouldn't be received well, also get the vibe that it is a sore area for them.
- 50:03SPEAKER_03: So I did you write this?
- 50:05SPEAKER_02: No.
- 50:06SPEAKER_03: About your last work.
- 50:08SPEAKER_02: Why would I write this?
- 50:10SPEAKER_03: Because I feel like this is.
- 50:11SPEAKER_02: This is somebody that is still at a place.
- 50:13SPEAKER_02: I feel like they want to confront somebody who has left.
- 50:17SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 50:17SPEAKER_03: I was saying because it is such a frustration we always used to talk about of like when someone leaves a place.
- 50:23SPEAKER_03: I have felt this way before.
- 50:25SPEAKER_02: I don't like somebody who it's like we have like a bunch of like work friends, somebody leaves, and then they start trashing the place that you like.
- 50:30SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 50:31SPEAKER_03: And it's just still in it.
- 50:32SPEAKER_02: I feel like if it was work, they would have said work, but they just said something I'm involved in.
- 50:35SPEAKER_03: But okay.
- 50:36SPEAKER_02: So, but I now I understand what you're saying.
- 50:39SPEAKER_02: I don't like even like I was at the same place for 10 years, and I just left my role there as a full-time staff member.
- 50:46SPEAKER_02: And I go out of my way to not be somebody who leaves and then like uh tries to convince everybody else to also leave.
- 50:55SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 50:56SPEAKER_02: Which I don't I did see who sent this one in, and it's not, they're not talking about the specifically the place that I was at.
- 51:02SPEAKER_02: But I don't, I go out of my way to not be that.
- 51:04SPEAKER_02: So this is just like my PSA to everybody that if you are somebody who leaves somewhere where you have a lot of people still there, don't go out of your way to constantly crap on it.
- 51:13SPEAKER_02: Now, if they're crapping on it and you join, then that's fine.
- 51:17SPEAKER_02: But don't go out of your way to be the negative person about it because it's like this is their life still.
- 51:22SPEAKER_03: Because it is really annoying to let's just say, because I've left workplaces, I've left different things, and I make sure like if you're still there, I'm not gonna be like, I'm out, thank goodness.
- 51:33SPEAKER_03: Like it's being annoying about it.
- 51:34SPEAKER_03: It really is.
- 51:35SPEAKER_02: Like leaving the place that I was at was literally the hardest thing that I've ever done.
- 51:37SPEAKER_03: There's so many factors, it could be money, it could be this, it could be that.
- 51:40SPEAKER_03: There's so many things.
- 51:41SPEAKER_03: And if you're just being like, oh yeah, you you need to, you need to quit, bro.
- 51:45SPEAKER_03: You need to do that.
- 51:45SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 51:46SPEAKER_02: It's just it's so much easier said than done.
- 51:47SPEAKER_02: Even when I was at that place, like there's people who did it out of care, and they were like, hey, we just feel like there's like still things that you need to do that you need to go do.
- 51:54SPEAKER_02: I think that's sweet.
- 51:55SPEAKER_02: But people who are like, you need to get out of there.
- 51:57SPEAKER_02: I'm just like, you it's hard.
- 51:59SPEAKER_02: And it's my life.
- 52:00SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 52:00SPEAKER_02: So I feel bad for this person.
- 52:02SPEAKER_02: Oh, should they confront it?
- 52:03SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 52:04SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 52:05SPEAKER_02: Just be like, hey, like it just and here's the thing.
- 52:07SPEAKER_02: If they're your true friend, I think that you can say, like, hey, like, I know that this is not your intention.
- 52:10SPEAKER_02: Also, you can say, like, we also talk about this place, but like, there's some times where I feel like you're kind of you're not allowed to drive the bus.
- 52:17SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 52:18SPEAKER_02: You're allowed to be on the bus when we're driving it.
- 52:20SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 52:20SPEAKER_02: So it's kind of like I can talk about my parents, but you can't.
- 52:22SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 52:23SPEAKER_02: I don't feel that way, but yeah, you know, people say that.
- 52:25SPEAKER_02: Um, next one.
- 52:26SPEAKER_02: I've always been an e-reality TV girl, major Kardashian fan, never have really dabbled into the Bravo world.
- 52:33SPEAKER_02: What shows do you recommend?
- 52:34SPEAKER_03: I will give this one to you.
- 52:36SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 52:37SPEAKER_02: Well, first we can both say because it's new and you can be a part of something bigger than yourself because we're all watching it together, it's real house size of Rhode Island.
- 52:44SPEAKER_02: There's only one season, it's an easy watch and it's incredible.
- 52:46SPEAKER_02: I always recommend my my bravo recipe to give is this.
- 52:52SPEAKER_02: Right now, if you're starting, watch Rhode Island, because then it's one season out and then you're with the world.
- 52:57SPEAKER_02: Then Salt Lake City, because it's another newer one that's incredible.
- 53:01SPEAKER_02: And then after you watch Rhode Island and then Salt Lake City, go to an OG.
- 53:05SPEAKER_02: OG meaning New Jersey, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, or OC.
- 53:10SPEAKER_02: I recommend starting with New Jersey.
- 53:13SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 53:14SPEAKER_02: Just because like Atlanta is like probably like overall, just like number one.
- 53:19SPEAKER_02: There's like the most I probably like the most iconic.
- 53:22SPEAKER_02: But to me, like the first one or two seasons, it's kind of it gets better a little later on.
- 53:28SPEAKER_02: Probably because I'm trying to convince I don't really remember, but if I'm trying to convince somebody to watch Bravo, I would say probably just start with Jersey because they hit the ground running.
- 53:35SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 53:35SPEAKER_02: Um, and then Beverly Hills, maybe later on.
- 53:38SPEAKER_02: It it's pretty good, but I would just wait a second.
- 53:40SPEAKER_02: But I would go Rhode Island, Salt Lake City, Jersey, and then take it from there.
- 53:44SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 53:45SPEAKER_02: But I love that.
- 53:47SPEAKER_03: Also, I just started um House of Stasi, uh, episode one and two, and that is on uh Disney and Hulu.
- 53:54SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 53:54SPEAKER_02: Or sorry, it's on Hulu, yeah.
- 53:55SPEAKER_03: It's on Disney and Hulu.
- 53:56SPEAKER_03: I do like it.
- 53:57SPEAKER_02: I Stasi Shorter is everything to me.
- 54:00SPEAKER_02: Shout out Jesse Marciano, they're on it.
- 54:02SPEAKER_02: This one's long, so I am gonna abbreviate it a little bit.
- 54:04SPEAKER_02: I'll read the first part and then I already read this one, so I'll kind of um abbreviate the last half.
- 54:11SPEAKER_02: I need some outside perspective because my friend group has been dealing with the same situation for almost two years and we're completely drained.
- 54:17SPEAKER_02: For context, I've been best friends with two siblings, a brother and a sister, for about five years.
- 54:22SPEAKER_02: Okay, they're like family to me.
- 54:24SPEAKER_02: Over the years, our friend group has changed naturally as people have come and gone.
- 54:27SPEAKER_02: About three years ago, another friend introduced a girl into our group because he had a crush on her.
- 54:32SPEAKER_02: Eventually, he got busy with life and stopped hanging out with us very often, but she remained part of the group.
- 54:37SPEAKER_02: From early on, are you aware?
- 54:39SPEAKER_02: Are you are you good?
- 54:40SPEAKER_03: No.
- 54:41SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 54:41SPEAKER_03: The girlfriend, like the someone submitted this.
- 54:43SPEAKER_02: There's a brother and a sister that she's friends with, so that's a three.
- 54:46SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 54:47SPEAKER_02: There was another guy who joined the friend group with them.
- 54:50SPEAKER_02: So there's four.
- 54:51SPEAKER_02: He had a crush on a girl, so he brought a girl in.
- 54:53SPEAKER_03: Five.
- 54:53SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 54:54SPEAKER_02: Then that guy kind of exited the friend group, but that girl stayed.
- 54:56SPEAKER_03: So the girl, the siblings.
- 54:59SPEAKER_02: There's a new girl in the group.
- 55:00SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 55:00SPEAKER_02: About three years ago, another friend, and she's going, From early on, I had a bad feeling about the friendship, but I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt.
- 55:07SPEAKER_02: Over time, though, a pattern developed with multiple people in our group.
- 55:11SPEAKER_02: We experienced repeated lying, manipulation, gaslighting, unnecessary drama, and situations where she seems to expect everyone else to do things her way.
- 55:18SPEAKER_02: Whenever conflict comes up, she often presents herself as the victim while avoiding responsibility of her part.
- 55:23SPEAKER_02: Something else that's been difficult is that she frequently positions herself as morally above everybody.
- 55:28SPEAKER_02: She has even told mutual friends that she believes she's more spiritually mature than the rest of our group.
- 55:33SPEAKER_02: That attitude has made almost any conversation, honest conversations, almost impossible because any disagreement gets turned into supposedly being that we are the ones in the problem.
- 55:43SPEAKER_02: She asked for a lot of she seeks validation from guys that has created tension more than once.
- 55:48SPEAKER_02: And then she kind of goes into a situation where this girl liked a guy, so then that girl decided to like the guy.
- 55:55SPEAKER_02: Like she kind of just, you know, and then he ended up not choosing her, whatever.
- 55:58SPEAKER_02: Um, they tried to confront her.
- 56:00SPEAKER_02: She's this girl is a peacemaker, but she doesn't really know, she doesn't want to be involved in arguments.
- 56:05SPEAKER_02: But how do you address this girl?
- 56:08SPEAKER_02: This girl has to get out of your friend group.
- 56:10SPEAKER_03: I want to say, know your place.
- 56:12SPEAKER_03: I my thing is if I was brought into a group by a guy I was talking to, I'm no longer talking to the guy, self-awareness peace aspect, get out of the group.
- 56:21SPEAKER_02: Get out.
- 56:21SPEAKER_03: And I and like I would not, maybe it's just me and my potential pride.
- 56:25SPEAKER_03: I would not ever see those people again.
- 56:28SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 56:28SPEAKER_02: I also, the mama of the group already is always gonna backfire.
- 56:35SPEAKER_02: But to be the new person brought in by a guy and then to try to be mama, try to adopt, uh-uh, this girl, and also I'm somebody who I protect long-lasting historic friend groups.
- 56:46SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 56:46SPEAKER_02: And I think because I have like a friend group that we've all been friends since literally like third grade, and we are still friends to this day.
- 56:55SPEAKER_02: It is that is a rare thing to have, like a friend group with history, and it's worth protecting.
- 57:00SPEAKER_02: And she also mentioned in here that like everybody kind of talks about it behind this girl's back, but no one brings it up to her, which I always hate that because I'm always wanting to bring it up.
- 57:07SPEAKER_02: The fact that all of your friends feel this way, you need to just say, you'd be like, hey, I kind of want to address this.
- 57:11SPEAKER_02: I don't like how she's affecting our friend group.
- 57:12SPEAKER_02: Do you guys mind if I just bring this up to her?
- 57:14SPEAKER_02: Because the thing that you need to care about here is not losing your friends that you care about.
- 57:17SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 57:18SPEAKER_02: It doesn't matter what this girl said.
- 57:19SPEAKER_03: So she wants to preserve her friendship with the siblings, obviously.
- 57:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's like her and the siblings, they're locked in.
- 57:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and then this new girl.
- 57:26SPEAKER_03: The I just I just don't understand the position of this new girl.
- 57:29SPEAKER_03: I don't.
- 57:30SPEAKER_03: I'm just like coming in like guns blazing, like trying to be mama, trying to be spiritually ahead of everyone.
- 57:37SPEAKER_03: I don't get her.
- 57:38SPEAKER_02: We would have clocked her years ago.
- 57:39SPEAKER_03: We would have.
- 57:40SPEAKER_02: So it's time.
- 57:41SPEAKER_02: And also, this is just a PSA to everybody.
- 57:42SPEAKER_02: If you have a bad feeling from the jump, like don't allow yourself to stay in something so long that you are now in this girl's position, unfortunately, where you're like, oh, it's been so long and we're not talking about it, and we feel bad and we want to stay out of arguments.
- 57:52SPEAKER_02: Like, no, like don't let things simmer.
- 57:53SPEAKER_02: And right now, you're gonna look at yourself a year from now and be like, wow, I should have just brought this up a year ago.
- 57:58SPEAKER_03: Is she rich?
- 57:58SPEAKER_03: Like, that's I'm like, what is her uh like what is the word alluring?
- 58:02SPEAKER_02: I think that sometimes people just feel which we can't really relate to this.
- 58:06SPEAKER_02: I can't relate.
- 58:06SPEAKER_03: I'm not feeling bad for anybody and keeping anybody.
- 58:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 58:09SPEAKER_02: I'm not feeling bad for somebody who treats me like that.
- 58:12SPEAKER_02: Okay, last one.
- 58:13SPEAKER_03: She's out.
- 58:14SPEAKER_02: Please keep me anonymous because this is cringe.
- 58:17SPEAKER_02: LOL.
- 58:17SPEAKER_02: I've just have introspective collaborative thinking with my close friends.
- 58:20SPEAKER_02: We've noticed that all of my recent exes have moved on and gotten married.
- 58:25SPEAKER_02: Hold on.
- 58:26SPEAKER_02: I accidentally scrolled.
- 58:28SPEAKER_02: And gotten married.
- 58:29SPEAKER_02: It's giving, I saw you at your lowest when nobody else did.
- 58:32SPEAKER_02: I feel like I'm always the optimistic Buster Moon.
- 58:35SPEAKER_02: What is Buster Moon?
- 58:36SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 58:37SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 58:37SPEAKER_03: But I don't ever want to hear it again.
- 58:40SPEAKER_03: Can she never say that again to us?
- 58:43SPEAKER_02: I love the person who submitted this.
- 58:44SPEAKER_02: I'm so sorry I don't know what Buster Moon is.
- 58:46SPEAKER_02: I feel like I'm always the optimistic, uh, just optimistic person that takes a risk in these diamonds and the rough and supporting their glow-ups and hyping them up through breakthroughs.
- 58:55SPEAKER_02: Here's the thing, I totally understand where this person's coming from.
- 58:57SPEAKER_02: But this is an extreme red flag that I've literally been the straw that breaks the camel's back.
- 59:01SPEAKER_02: Are you texting me to let me know that time's up?
- 59:03SPEAKER_02: No.
- 59:04SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 59:06SPEAKER_02: Um, but this is an extreme red flag that I've literally been the straw that breaks the camel's back and literally sends these people into literal lifelong marriage.
- 59:14SPEAKER_02: Or is it a sleigh because I'm the realist?
- 59:16SPEAKER_02: I can honestly see both sides, or is it just a freak accident?
- 59:19SPEAKER_02: It happened at least three, soon to be four times.
- 59:21SPEAKER_02: So this girl's getting in relationships, seeing you at the bottom.
- 59:27SPEAKER_03: Girl, shut down the build-a bear workshop.
- 59:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, shut down the build-a-bear.
- 59:30SPEAKER_02: If they if you're seeing them at their lowest, you don't have to build them up every time.
- 59:33SPEAKER_02: No, you can leave them when they're low.
- 59:35SPEAKER_03: I think just maybe I would I brought up pros and cons list last time.
- 59:40SPEAKER_03: What I didn't do.
- 59:41SPEAKER_03: I think that you should go, and when you're potentially talking to someone, list out their pros and cons, whatever, and find a starting baseline and go five levels above where you've started before.
- 59:50SPEAKER_03: I don't know you where you've been finding these people.
- 59:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 59:52SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 59:53SPEAKER_03: But start there and then you just elevate them a little bit.
- 59:56SPEAKER_03: You guys can elevate together.
- 59:57SPEAKER_03: And also when you build someone up, yeah, go ahead.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_02: No, I no.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, when you just build them up, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_03: There is kind of a uh what's it called?
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_03: What's the word I'm looking for?
- 1:00:09SPEAKER_03: Not like a I built you, so you need to stay.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_03: What is that?
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_03: What am I trying to say?
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_02: Ownership or like I don't know like credit?
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm like there's always there's kind of an imbalance.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_03: Maybe there's a little bit of a resentment and imbalance of just like I've like I made you.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_03: I made you.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_03: Like they've kept their I was about to say an old timey reference.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_03: They they've kept their powder dry and and you have Goldilocks.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_03: No, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_03: There is an imbalance there when you've built someone and then you're the one who's not made any mistakes, whatever.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_03: Sometimes people are like, you know.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_02: And also this person did not submit this anonymously.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_02: You could get anyone you wanted, so you can raise your standards.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, you shouldn't be shut down the show.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_02: You shouldn't be in the rough.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_02: There should be you shouldn't be finding diamonds in the rough because you are the diamond love.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_03: Yes, live.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_02: Pick up your crown, your tiara's falling.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_02: I love when someone's sad and I go, chin up, child.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_01: Your tiara is falling.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_01: Chin up, child.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_03: Oh, child.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_01: Your tiara is falling.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_03: Her tiara is.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_02: And I said it.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_02: I said it.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_02: Alright, so that is truth serum today.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_02: And just remember, chin up.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_03: Chin up.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_03: Don't your tiara is falling.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_03: Your tiara is falling.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_03: Love you guys.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_03: Bye.
