- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Uh I told you that uh we uh picked up a large screw in a tire, so I gotta deal with that like you know, I mean you y you gotta keep the transportation rolling.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: There's people that have to get around, right?
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Right, right, of course.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: I said I'm gonna uh try to sneak into an appointment hopefully like around 10 30 a little after this morning, and uh 3386 goes, Scott, I'm sure you can get a tire appointment at 8 a.m.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: this morning if you have to leave the show early.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say it, but I'm like, no, I'll wait.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: I'll wait.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Could everyone spend all day Monday at Knobles with four grandkids?
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: Oh, I forgot about Kennobles.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: Although I want to put pause on that and go in at Halloween time because Halloween's.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: Do they do a Halloween thing?
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: Huge.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: And I would love we have a little bit of a Knobles connection.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Now, don't get me wrong.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: That's a phrase, a Knobles connection.
- 0:53unknown: Yes.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: Don't get me wrong.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: It's not anything that we can put on the air here.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: It's just that we have a sister station over there and one of our employees works for the Knobles.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's like your T.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: That's like your uncle's daughter's sister's cousins, uh, you know, works at Disney and you try to get the deal.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: And her and I had before we did our adult Easter egg hunt years ago that we started, she was the one that was guiding me.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: And she's always like, if you ever need anything, if you yeah, if you ever want to come down to Knobles, and I'm like, wait a second, I'm gonna cash that in.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Yes, as a matter of fact, I do.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: There will be a day, but not till Halloween.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Uh then we go to 1336.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: They said, good everyone! Good everyone.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Happy Wang Out Wednesday, and uh make it a uh great day.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: What was that?
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Well, that was the Wang out.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Is that what yours sounds like?
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Ileana, good everyone, John 317, Lauren, Kelly Bear.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: You get the point anyway.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Or the tip.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Um, where do you want to start?
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Do you want to start with the Rob Reiner story?
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, why don't you start there?
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: Because I had an uh I had a discovery last night on the soccer field I gotta tell you about, which stopped me.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: I didn't say anything, but I'll tell you about that in a couple seconds, and it might lead to Nelly tickets being given away.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: How wild is this?
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: The kid of Rob Reiner.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: So Rob Reiner, famous director, uh he did acting sometimes too, didn't he?
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: Very limited, but they did a special together about his uh mental um uh how do I describe it?
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: About Nick Reiner's mental state state and and what he was going through, things like that.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: That was kind of the irony to this.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: Anyway, what okay?
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: So just to catch you up, so Rob Reiner, famous director for like Harry Met Sally.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to think of some other things that he's done.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: But anyway, so him and his wife were murdered.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: Allegedly, it was their son.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: So that happened back in December.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: The son now is trying to access his trust to pay for his his murder defense.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh that is why that doesn't taste good.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: No, it doesn't.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: He's trying to get access to 1.5 million dollars.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that doesn't feel right.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Uh-uh.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Oh, wow.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: If he gets it, I don't know if it's even gonna change.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know what?
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: You're the one that says, Allie always says everyone's guilty.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: I think you know where I stand.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: No, I this one's a hard one for me to say he didn't do it.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: Like where if he didn't do it, what else who else would have done it?
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Because it was the way that you know it was the middle of the night, it was on the property.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: It was I'm not saying that doesn't mean somebody couldn't have come in and done it.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: It this one really kind of leads that direction.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: And obviously, the mental challenges that this guy had, I'm not saying that's his defense.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: It might end up being his defense.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: I think that will be.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: It'll be like an insanity plague.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: But it's you know, I mean, I don't know anybody else that could have done it.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: I know, you know, that's why I'm like, ooh.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: It's sad.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Yes, for sure.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: And I wonder his lawyer, I wonder if his lawyer is like, oh, I feel dirty taking this money.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Nah, you know, I mean, in Hollywood, I think when you're dealing with Hollywood lawyers, you're dealing with, you know, a very few that might be on the up and up.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: The rest of them, they're very profile.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: They know what they're dealing with.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: They have to pull every trick out of the hat.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: Or do you go, wow, this is the easiest case.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: You're gonna lose, and I'm gonna take all your money.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Uh, yeah.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: I mean, you might just be getting into some sort of a plea.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: And it's one of those cases I think most lawyers want to win, but I think some lawyers go into, and I don't know, I'd have to ask Hannah.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Uh, I think some of them go into it going, not gonna win this one.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm sure there's cases that are like that, but so you mean everybody needs a defense.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: Right, right, right.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: Like, okay, yeah, I'll try.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Kind of.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: It's gonna end up in a plea.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: So last night, this could lead to uh to giving away Nelly tickets before you can buy because they go on sale, tagstickets.com on Friday.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Uh, so we're at the we're at practice last night.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: It kind of a quiet night.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: A lot of kids uh had other things.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: This is a tough time of year.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: Kids are all over the place doing wrap-up school functions, this and that.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: So there might have been, I don't know, five, six kids that were at practice last night.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: When do you guys just wrap up this season?
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: It too, we've got two more games.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: And uh for Gavin, one more for Lydia.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: So um, at any rate, you know, you're sitting there with the other parents and everybody's, you know, talking.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're just hanging out, we're watching the kids do that.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: And all of a sudden, at one point, one of the parents yells out, which we all would at certain points to our own kid if they, you know, did something good or whatever.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: They go, Jake Owen, get up.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: I've known Jake for multiple seasons.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Great kid, right?
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Also country singer.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Had no idea his name was that.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: I it stopped.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: I didn't say anything because I almost turned to his mom and his dad, and I go, I was gonna immensely go, is he is that because of Jake Owen, the country singer?
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: And what did they say?
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Well, no, I didn't say it because I'm like, well, that would be almost too obvious.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: But I'm like, it has to be, it has to be connected to this.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: Yes, like if my last name was Swift, I'm probably gonna pick Taylor.
- 5:50unknown: Yeah.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: So I thought, all right, I I'm gonna play play this.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Who's who's out there right now that has either named their kid after someone because this is clearly a naming.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: I know somebody who named their kid such a funky name after um Game of Thrones.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: It's a Game of Thrones character, and I don't know how to say it.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: Oh, uh wow.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: When I see it, I'm like, all right.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Who's out there that's got I'm always like, hey, buddy.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: They they because every time I hear the a kid named Jameson, I think to myself, you were boozing when you conceived.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: Sure, sure, sure.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: But it just goes to my mind.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, but you end up going, like, if if I had a kid, I used to love Gavin Rosdale.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, I know you have a Gavin, but if I was to have a baby 20 years ago, I would totally have gone with that name.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: What yeah, but would you have given him the middle name Rosdale?
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: That's not a terrible middle name.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: That's a great middle name.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: Well, okay.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: Well, then I want the combination.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: I want I want to see.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: You guys can tell us.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: Not just not just Jake because of Jake.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: Like, I want because I had when they yelled his middle name, and you know mom and dad meant business when they yelled his middle name.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: And then you're like, Do you want a guitar?
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: Text us.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Can I get a lick?
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: Have you literally named your kid or know a kid named specific it doesn't have to be a country act, it could be No, any celebrity.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it does seem to fall a lot though in country.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: Have you ever noticed that?
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, for sure.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, our did you have a baby two weeks ago and you named her Ella Langley?
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, see?
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: All right, text us on the app.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Let's see what you got.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Maybe the best one you'll score Nelly tickets.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: I don't mind.
