- 0:00SPEAKER_03: Okay, this whole conversation has morphed greatly since we started it about an hour ago, where you asked the question, have you ever left anything behind for someone buying your house?
- 0:08SPEAKER_03: Or vice versa.
- 0:09SPEAKER_03: They left something for you.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: And uh 'cause I left my guy uh a lot of things, actually.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, are you still using my dining room table?
- 0:16SPEAKER_02: I'm just curious.
- 0:17SPEAKER_02: I'm just curious, yeah.
- 0:18SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 0:18SPEAKER_03: Uh and then it morphed into uh I have a bit of a project I'm working on right now.
- 0:23SPEAKER_03: We peeled this ancient wallpaper off the wall, and uh and the wall looks to be in pretty good shape, but of course it's covered in that white, you know, wallpaper glue.
- 0:32SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 0:32SPEAKER_03: And I I I did one little section the other day with the handheld attachment to the steamer, and I'm like, it started to liquefy it, but I'm like Oh, this is gonna be a long job.
- 0:41SPEAKER_02: It's like a caramel apple dripping down your wall.
- 0:44SPEAKER_03: It's gonna take a couple minutes, but too long.
- 0:46SPEAKER_03: Oh, you got an idea?
- 0:47SPEAKER_03: Hello.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Hello is it Scott?
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, oh yeah.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Uh Scott, hey, just listen.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: And when you're doing the wallpaper, like lightly score the wallpaper before you seam it so it gets in behind it and it'll make it so much easier.
- 1:02SPEAKER_03: Well, what do you what do you use to score it?
- 1:04SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm thinking, like, do I call John Williams and be like, I need a movie score, my friend?
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: A razor blade, just lightly, so you don't go into the wall, but just lightly with a razor blade to get through the um wallpaper.
- 1:17SPEAKER_03: Oh my god, this is a long wall.
- 1:20SPEAKER_03: This is now I just want to rip it off and put up drywall.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, that's always an option.
- 1:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yes, yeah.
- 1:27SPEAKER_03: Oh, God.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 1:29SPEAKER_03: There's nothing more exciting on a Saturday than staring at a wall all day long.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: It's like being grounded when you're 12.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: It might be worse.
- 1:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, thanks.
- 1:37SPEAKER_03: And by the way, the wallpaper is off, so I don't think I have to score, you know, like they're saying.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes, yes.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: But for somebody who isn't overly handy, you're tackling a very big project.
- 1:50SPEAKER_02: But also, there's something really satisfying about doing something like that.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: Like when I fixed my toilet and when I fixed my garbage disposal, I felt like queen of the castle.
- 2:00SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 2:01SPEAKER_03: Yes, you do the accomplishments phenomenal.
- 2:03SPEAKER_02: I do understand you wanting to do it.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: I'm just surprised that you are willing to do it.
- 2:08SPEAKER_03: Oh man, Merle said Googon.
- 2:10SPEAKER_03: That's a lie.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: They said it's my guess.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: Uh-uh.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: Don't, don't, no.
- 2:13SPEAKER_02: I'm not a fan of Google.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: Do not take do not take advice from somebody who doesn't know for sure.
- 2:18SPEAKER_03: Okay, because I'm not a fan of Goo Gon.
- 2:19SPEAKER_03: I've tried using it on multiple things that on like a commercial, they'd be like, and it just wipes away.
- 2:23SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, it never wipes away.
- 2:25SPEAKER_03: So Googon sucks.
- 2:26SPEAKER_03: Natalie had a good one.
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: Vinegar and water.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: I think that's what my parents used.
- 2:29SPEAKER_03: But, but, but my parents did it to get the wallpaper off.
- 2:34SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 2:34SPEAKER_03: I'm just dealing with the glue.
- 2:35SPEAKER_03: This wallpaper was so thick, it was so rewarding.
- 2:38SPEAKER_03: Do you ever, you know that first snow shovel that is the perfect line?
- 2:43SPEAKER_03: And you're like, I just want to look at this for a minute.
- 2:45SPEAKER_03: This peeled off in huge strips.
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, it's like when I when I peel skin when somebody gets sunburned, I'm like, can I just take a big piece of your skin right now?
- 2:56SPEAKER_03: That's disgusting, Lecter.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: I love it.
- 2:59SPEAKER_03: Speaking of October, since we're talking to Hannibal Lecter, how about that segue?
- 3:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:04SPEAKER_03: Doug goes, uh, Scott doesn't have the guts to play Burl Lives because you were talking about you heard a Christmas, uh, a Christmas commercial already.
- 3:11SPEAKER_03: Oh, you're not ready yet?
- 3:12SPEAKER_03: No.
- 3:13SPEAKER_03: You don't want to tempt me.
- 3:14SPEAKER_03: I'm telling you, Doug, don't tempt me.
- 3:16SPEAKER_02: I love Christmas music.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: I need to wear my costume at least once.
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: Oh no, we moved past Halloween.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: No, we have not.
- 3:24SPEAKER_03: Yes, we have a Halloween Halloween Christmas.
- 3:27SPEAKER_03: October 8th.
- 3:28SPEAKER_03: It's the best time of the year.
- 3:31SPEAKER_03: I don't hate it.
- 3:31SPEAKER_02: Speaking of Halloween, I hate this.
- 3:33SPEAKER_02: I don't.
- 3:33SPEAKER_02: I hate it so much.
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: Speaking of Halloween, don't forget our trunk retreat is next Saturday at Wise Markets.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: Standard themed.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: No.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: Although actually, that's funny you say that.
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: I was rearranging my basement a little bit, and we have a bunch of trunks that we have to decorate, and I'm like, oh my god, how am I gonna come up with eight trunks for me to decorate?
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: And because well, nobody else in this building will.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: Let's be real.
- 3:54SPEAKER_03: Looking for the entrance.
- 3:55SPEAKER_02: Here over there, you're welcome.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: So I'm like, I got a lot of Christmas decorations.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: What if I do a Christmas trunk?
- 4:01SPEAKER_02: Isn't that a great idea?
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: I think it is.
- 4:04SPEAKER_02: Because we are here right now.
- 4:05SPEAKER_02: No.
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: I was thinking Christmas trunk, Buffalo Bill's trunk, Dolly Parton trunk.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, because we got that left over.
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: You get the point.
- 4:14SPEAKER_03: Oh, speaking of Christmas.
- 4:16SPEAKER_03: What is the most popular toy of the year?
- 4:19SPEAKER_03: I don't know, but I don't want Christmas.
- 4:21SPEAKER_03: Well, too bad.
- 4:21SPEAKER_03: We're already there.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: This is the way society works now.
- 4:24SPEAKER_03: It'll be 4th of July in four weeks, so shut it.
- 4:26SPEAKER_03: Get it out of my face.
- 4:27SPEAKER_03: The most popular toy of the year, you ask, is a product called Buttface.
- 4:32SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's not a squishy.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: Well, it is.
- 4:35SPEAKER_03: It's a squish doll type thing named Chester Cheeks.
- 4:39SPEAKER_03: And the tweens love it.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: Here's Buttface's commercial.
- 4:43SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: What's that?
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: It's Chester Cheeks, the ultimate Buttface prankster.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: Squeeze.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: And he lets it rip.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: He's dropping feet, jiggling cheeks.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: He's full of gas power pranks up his sleeve.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: That little fart Chester.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: Always up to cheeky tricks.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Warning.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: May cause explosive laughter.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: And uncontrollable wiggle dancing.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: Chester cheeks from Buttface by Goliath.
- 5:13SPEAKER_03: I was just really want to be a tween again.
- 5:15SPEAKER_02: I was just thinking, farts are always funny, but then when you said it's like it's most popular with tweens, there's my humor right there.
- 5:22SPEAKER_02: There it is.
- 5:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:23SPEAKER_03: This is I now need I need one for Gavin, Lydia, and me.
- 5:26SPEAKER_03: Well, and when and me.
- 5:28SPEAKER_03: Okay, we're gonna need four.
- 5:29SPEAKER_03: Four.
- 5:29SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 5:30SPEAKER_03: Yes, we're gonna need Buttface.
- 5:31SPEAKER_02: They're probably on back order.
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: Like when Ace Ventura Pet Detective bent over and talked out of his butt.
- 5:37SPEAKER_03: I know, that just still kills me.
- 5:38SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 5:38SPEAKER_03: I don't get highbrow humor on this show.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: I can't do it this year because I already have my Halloween costume, but I really, really one year want to do Ace Ventura Pet Detective.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: You know, you got the 2-2 and the the So I want to do that.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna bend over as much as I possibly can the year that I do it.
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: Next year.
- 5:55SPEAKER_02: Next year I'm doing it.
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: All right, I gotta do it.
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: Wait, how much is this costing?
- 6:00SPEAKER_03: Uh oh, I don't know.
- 6:01SPEAKER_03: Uh did anybody get this uh Chester Cheeks?
- 6:04SPEAKER_03: Anyone?
- 6:04SPEAKER_03: Uh you gotta text me.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: Hold on a second.
- 6:07SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's Chester Cheeks.
- 6:08SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry.
- 6:09SPEAKER_02: Well, I pull it came up right away.
- 6:10SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: Um it's only twenty four ninety seven.
- 6:15SPEAKER_03: Pretty average for the squishies, yeah.
- 6:17SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: I I would like to spend twenty four ninety seven right now.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: Right now.
