• 1:58
SPEAKER_03: And I think it's next Thursday, which is kind of tough to do something on a weekday.
• 2:04
SPEAKER_03: I try not to do stuff on the weekday, but I was like, mmm, serial.
• 2:08
SPEAKER_02: She told me she texted you about this, and I'm like, oh, that's right up Allie's alley.

• 2:22
SPEAKER_02: Uh and I can't believe you haven't seen this.
• 2:23
SPEAKER_02: Do you still have Hulu?
• 2:25
SPEAKER_03: No, I got rid of Hulu a while ago and never picked it back up.
• 2:28
SPEAKER_02: The name of it is called My Grandfather Charles Manson.
• 2:33

• 2:43
  SPEAKER_00: Who's your dad?
• 2:44
  SPEAKER_04: Charles Manson.
• 2:46
SPEAKER_00: I've always been the kid with her head screwed on right.
• 2:50
SPEAKER_00: And then you find out your grandfather's Manson.
• 2:52
SPEAKER_00: I submitted my DNA to unlock my grandfather's sealed records.
• 2:57
SPEAKER_00: I need to understand what happened no matter where it takes me.
• 3:03
  SPEAKER_00: Mama!
• 3:06
  SPEAKER_02: So there you go.
• 3:07
SPEAKER_03: Manson is now all of a sudden coming up.
• 3:09
SPEAKER_03: This is the second time this week.
• 3:11
SPEAKER_02: Who everything's been a recurring theme this week.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but there was a celebrity who had said that just came out with a piece of audio about Manson not being exactly what you would think he would be.
• 3:21
  SPEAKER_03: Gosh, who was it?
• 3:23
SPEAKER_02: He wasn't as bad of a murderer?
• 3:25
SPEAKER_03: I think now he is just an old Wait, is he dead?
• 3:29
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, I don't know.
• 3:29
  SPEAKER_03: Is Manson dead?
• 3:31
SPEAKER_03: Oh, how do I not know this?
• 3:32

• 3:42
  SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
• 3:43
SPEAKER_03: Let me see if I can find I know exactly where the audio is.
• 3:46
SPEAKER_03: Uh if you can give me just one second.
• 3:48
  SPEAKER_02: No, that's fine.
• 3:49
SPEAKER_02: I was gonna ask you, like, like how bad would that be?
• 3:52
SPEAKER_02: Like you're living your life normal, then all of a sudden you find out because you when you find out you're a granddaughter, you you are supposed to look at your grandfather or your grandmother, and you usually have very positive, endearing feelings.
• 4:04
  SPEAKER_02: Yes.
• 4:04
  SPEAKER_02: Not in this case.
• 4:05
SPEAKER_03: Uh well, so the funny thing is I read a book once where a woman found out that her dad was also a serial killer, and she kind of pieced it all together herself, and it's the same thing.
• 4:15
SPEAKER_03: Like, you have a certain image.
• 4:17
SPEAKER_03: Like, my my grandmother is the sweetest.
• 4:19
SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, she's no longer with us, but the sweetest woman ever.
• 4:23
SPEAKER_03: If I found out that she was like even embezzling money, I'd be like, Mama.
• 4:26
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's not possible.
• 4:28
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 4:28
SPEAKER_02: Um, I mean, for the longest time, I thought Rod Stewart might be my father.
• 4:34
SPEAKER_02: I was adopted, you know?
• 4:35
  SPEAKER_02: I had no idea.
• 4:36
SPEAKER_03: Why did you think Rod Stewart, you guys don't have the same hairline whatsoever?
• 4:39
SPEAKER_02: Oh, when I was younger in the uh in the day when I had hair, it was never crazy like Rod's.
• 4:45
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 4:46
  SPEAKER_02: But it was good.
• 4:47
  SPEAKER_02: I had good hair.
• 4:48
SPEAKER_02: And my buddies and I were all convinced Rod Stewart's your father.
• 4:51
  SPEAKER_02: And did you know?
• 4:52
SPEAKER_02: He did a concert in Buffalo in 1970.
• 4:55
  SPEAKER_02: And I was born in 1971.
• 4:57
SPEAKER_03: Oh, so I love that he went in that hard.
• 5:01
SPEAKER_03: Dan Rod! Okay, I found the audio, by the way.
• 5:03
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, you did?
• 5:04
SPEAKER_03: Danny Trejo met Charles Manson in jail, and this is what he had to say about it.
• 5:10
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 5:10
SPEAKER_01: Johnny wasn't the guy that you saw on the TV special.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_01: It was like 5'4, 5'5, a little squatting, poor, kind of like a bum, really.
• 5:21
SPEAKER_01: He had a string for a belt.
• 5:24
SPEAKER_01: He tied his pants with a string because he couldn't afford a belt.
• 5:28
SPEAKER_01: Some of the prisoners were gonna take advantage of him because they'd take advantage of anybody that's small.
• 5:33
SPEAKER_01: And uh we found out that he could hypnotize you, so we we let him sleep in front of our cell, you know, to make sure that nobody would hurt him.
• 5:42
  SPEAKER_01: Wow.
• 5:43
  SPEAKER_03: Weird creepy.
• 5:45
SPEAKER_03: As far as the string for a belt, I kind of always thought that's how it was in prison.
• 5:48
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, I don't know.
• 5:49
  SPEAKER_03: Oh no, they can't.
• 5:51
SPEAKER_03: Wait, wait, wait, they can't have a string for a belt.
• 5:53
  SPEAKER_04: That's that's a because you'd hang yourself.
• 5:55
  SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
• 5:57
SPEAKER_04: Oh, back to back to Rock Store.
• 5:59
SPEAKER_04: He's a He's my granddad! Wait, what do you mean your dad?

  unknown: Hold on!
• 6:09
SPEAKER_04: Hold on, hold on to that baby, apparently.
• 6:30
SPEAKER_02: I mean, but I look a little like Rod.
• 6:33
  SPEAKER_02: Not at all.
• 6:35
  SPEAKER_02: Not at all.
• 6:35
  SPEAKER_02: Not at all.
• 6:36
SPEAKER_02: Can we get I got the looks of my mother then?
• 6:38
SPEAKER_03: Can we get like Benson Boone or somebody to redo this song?
• 6:41
SPEAKER_03: No one has ever redone this song, have they?
• 6:44
  SPEAKER_02: No.
• 6:44
SPEAKER_03: I mean, I understand it's a classic, but I would love for it to be redone.
• 6:49
  SPEAKER_03: I listen to that.
• 6:50
SPEAKER_02: And can we not do it with like somebody doing a slow acoustic version?
• 6:55
SPEAKER_02: Can we please just have this how retro we've been this tweet?
• 7:05
  SPEAKER_04: I love it.
• 7:06
  SPEAKER_04: It's hot big drunk.
• 7:11
SPEAKER_03: Don't do her tell stories like your Indian grandfather.
• 7:19
SPEAKER_04: You don't need to do this! Bruno Mars! Oh yeah, for sure.
• 7:24
  SPEAKER_02: Alright, well, moving on.
