- 3:59Speaker 3: Before the one Dazy.
- 4:02Speaker 2: The Texas log hoards are ten and one for the
- 4:05Speaker 2: second straight year. They go to six and one at
- 4:08Speaker 2: Southeastern Conference play, and a win next Saturday night at
- 4:12Speaker 2: College Station will send the log warns to Atlanta for
- 4:16Speaker 2: the SEC championship game if they can finish it out
- 4:20Speaker 2: all the road at Texas A and M final score.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Here's this evening at Austin, the Texas Log wrns thirty
- 4:27Speaker 2: one the Kentucky Wildcats fourteen, and with that it is
- 4:36Speaker 2: on to one final game in the regular season. Good afternoon, everybody,
- 4:40Speaker 2: welcome to the program on Sports Radio AM thirteen under
- 4:43Speaker 2: the Zone. My name is Craig Way. Glad to have
- 4:45Speaker 2: you with us this afternoon. Texas did get the win
- 4:49Speaker 2: over Kentucky thirty one to fourteen. They'll play Texas A
- 4:53Speaker 2: and M Saturday evening at six thirty. You can hear
- 4:55Speaker 2: it right here on the zone as well as on

- 4:59Speaker 2: win that game, it's onto Atlanta for the Southeastern Conference title. Uh.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Glad to have the producer alongside who expertly crafted that
- 5:08Speaker 2: highlight montage for you. That would be Cameron D.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Parker.
- 5:12Speaker 2: The D stands for Dallas, as in his favorite pro
- 5:15Speaker 2: football team and that of his father's and that Cameron
- 5:20Speaker 2: refuses to watch. Wait, wait, we have a bulletin. We
- 5:24Speaker 2: have we have breaking news. Cameron D. Parker did the
- 5:29Speaker 2: D stands Ford did watch the Dallas Cowboys.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Yesterday and what a time to watch. Huh.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Let me clarify, yes, texted me you said you watched.
- 5:42Speaker 3: That's what I'm going on.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Here, Good afternoon. First off, First off, First off, okay,
- 5:46Speaker 1: I did not watch the first three quarters, probably a
- 5:49Speaker 1: good idea and the fourth grade now I had Let me.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Let me back up here. I made a big trade
- 5:55Speaker 1: in my fantasy league on a four game losing streak
- 5:58Speaker 1: to trade for Sky Terry. Terry McLaurin, Oh wow, I
- 6:02Speaker 1: think had like zero points at halftime. So I'm already
- 6:05Speaker 1: thinking like, man, but this was this was such a
- 6:07Speaker 1: bad trade. And I have a high school friend who
- 6:10Speaker 1: is a Commander's fan, and he was blowing up our
- 6:14Speaker 1: group chat just just could not believe what was happening.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Could not believe the Commanders were losing to the Dallads Cowboys.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I couldn't either, and so I was like, you know what,
- 6:23Speaker 1: let me throw this on. Even my dad was watching. Wow,
- 6:26Speaker 1: I believe he is in Leesville, Louisiana for work, And
- 6:29Speaker 1: I said, what are transporting prisoners military?
- 6:33Speaker 3: Okay?
- 6:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, And I was like, why are you watching
- 6:35Speaker 1: the game because I'm in Lee's filk. What else am
- 6:37Speaker 1: I going to do? Like, okay, that's a fair point.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So from Jian De Turpin's spin cycle return touchdown off
- 6:45Speaker 1: the kickoff to mclaurin's eighty six yard touchdown reception when
- 6:50Speaker 1: Cowboys dropped back eleven and somehow was not touched to
- 6:53Speaker 1: Austin Cybert, the former Oklahoma kicker who was coming off
- 6:58Speaker 1: the IR and I believe, at the time of his
- 7:01Speaker 1: platement on the IR was the number one fantasy kicker
- 7:04Speaker 1: this season? Who what Craig? He missed two extra points,
- 7:07Speaker 1: including one that would have tied it up at twenty
- 7:09Speaker 1: seven with under a minute to play.
- 7:11Speaker 3: He knuckleball the field goal.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Try to yeah, and then of course the Cowboys get
- 7:15Speaker 1: the second kickoff return after the second on side kick
- 7:20Speaker 1: attempt from the Commanders. What a what a crazy game?
- 7:24Speaker 1: I believe, Brad Sham said after the second return. This
- 7:28Speaker 1: game is drunk, I believe was his call, and it
- 7:31Speaker 1: was what what? What a crazy game? Commanders of nov Wallace.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Three in a row, Cowboys have four wins. I don't
- 7:37Speaker 1: know what to make of any of it. So at
- 7:39Speaker 1: what point in the game did you actually start watching it?
- 7:42Speaker 1: I think it was it was after after Turpin's return
- 7:47Speaker 1: because there was a lot of There was a lot
- 7:48Speaker 1: happening because the Bears and Vikings that was coming down
- 7:51Speaker 1: to the very end, what an end of the sidekick
- 7:53Speaker 1: on side kick Williams showing some life there going back
- 7:56Speaker 1: and forth between that game, and there was one other
- 7:59Speaker 1: early window that was coming out of the wire Texans Titans.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Yeah it was that. So I had read zone on
- 8:05Speaker 1: and was watching all three.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Okay, all right, but I just wanted stated for the
- 8:09Speaker 2: record that you did watch I did some Cowboys.
- 8:11Speaker 3: I did watch some Cowboys.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I texted you is it is the most I've watched
- 8:14Speaker 1: all season and because that game was absolutely bonkers.
- 8:17Speaker 2: It was no doubt about it. And we'll talk some
- 8:20Speaker 2: about the NFL. That tonight is Harball Bowl. I need
- 8:26Speaker 2: a big game out of Lamar Jackson, I really do,
- 8:29Speaker 2: or I'm going to lose back to back games for
- 8:31Speaker 2: the first time this year.
- 8:32Speaker 3: So anyway, the in my fantasy league.
- 8:35Speaker 2: But anyway, Baltimore and the LA Chargers are tonight, and
- 8:40Speaker 2: we'll talk some more NFL. But obviously there's college football
- 8:44Speaker 2: to discuss. The Texas long Horns are on top of
- 8:48Speaker 2: the Southeastern Conference standings by themselves because of the results
- 8:52Speaker 2: and everything that happened over the weekend. Incidentally, this is
- 8:56Speaker 2: a long Horns Monday, so coming up a few minutes,
- 8:58Speaker 2: we'll bring you a common from LONGRNS head coach Steve
- 9:01Speaker 2: Sarkizan from his weekly news conference. It was moved up
- 9:04Speaker 2: thirty minutes to eleven am because they were restructuring their
- 9:08Speaker 2: practice time and their schedule. What was school already being
- 9:11Speaker 2: out on the ut campus. None of the players had
- 9:14Speaker 2: classes in the afternoon. So they let the guys get
- 9:18Speaker 2: they got their treatment yesterday, let them sleep in this morning,
- 9:21Speaker 2: and they've got practice this afternoon, which is why when
- 9:26Speaker 2: Sark was asked about Quinn, you ors ankle, he said,
- 9:28Speaker 2: I think you'll be all right, he said, he said,
- 9:31Speaker 2: we're expecting to have him back in practice today.
- 9:34Speaker 3: So that's where that is.
- 9:35Speaker 2: But anyway, it is a long Runs money you'll hear
- 9:39Speaker 2: from Sark, but we're going to talk about the longrns.
- 9:41Speaker 2: We're going to talk about the Aggies. This is, after all,
- 9:43Speaker 2: going to be the first meeting in thirteen years, as
- 9:46Speaker 2: we know, the one hundred nineteenth meeting on time. There's
- 9:50Speaker 2: a pro here's a promotional announcement for you, I think
- 9:54Speaker 2: at premiers Wednesday, and then we'll be always available through
- 10:00Speaker 2: Longwer network app. They have put together the crew have
- 10:02Speaker 2: put together a documentary. I think it's called Rivalry Restored
- 10:09Speaker 2: or whatever it is, but it's I got to see
- 10:12Speaker 2: a rough cut of it and it's pretty good. It's
- 10:16Speaker 2: pretty good stuff about the history of the Rivalry and
- 10:20Speaker 2: what it's meant. There's really good words from Justin Tucker,
- 10:25Speaker 2: Ricky Williams, Colt McCoy, mac Brown. There are a lot
- 10:31Speaker 2: of people involved that so it's pretty compelling stuff. So
- 10:34Speaker 2: that's available I think starting Wednesday.
- 10:36Speaker 1: And Nick Heatherington, who was at Longhorn Network and now
- 10:39Speaker 1: is back, but he is behind it, I believe. And
- 10:41Speaker 1: he was behind the two thousand and eight documentary in
- 10:44Speaker 1: LHN and then the nineteen sixty three documentary, so I
- 10:48Speaker 1: know Texas fans you've probably seen both of those. Great jobs.
- 10:52Speaker 1: This will be another one that I can't wait the one.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it was good. It was good.
- 10:55Speaker 2: They had me sit down with him for about an
- 10:57Speaker 2: hour and I've had a few. There's a couple my
- 11:00Speaker 2: comments in there, especially about leading up to the field goal.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Kirk Bowles in it as well. There's other Rhys Davis
- 11:06Speaker 2: is in it. It's good. It's really well done. Nick
- 11:09Speaker 2: does good work. You're right you had those documentaries. Nick
- 11:14Speaker 2: was the one who came over and sat down and
- 11:16Speaker 2: was he didn't want to, you know, upset me or whatever.
- 11:21Speaker 3: After the passing of my wife.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Laurie, and they were doing something kind of I agreed
- 11:29Speaker 2: to it because it was kind of a tribute to
- 11:31Speaker 2: her after she passed away during twenty sixteen, and we
- 11:36Speaker 2: sat down and did a thing and.
- 11:37Speaker 3: He was very very good, and it was it was
- 11:39Speaker 3: well dood done.
- 11:40Speaker 2: But as you point out, Nick has done a lot
- 11:42Speaker 2: of things and it's a good documentary. So if you
- 11:45Speaker 2: get a chance to see it, it's going to be
- 11:48Speaker 2: through that longer network app, which I guess you can
- 11:51Speaker 2: then what you can roll it through to be because
- 11:55Speaker 2: he said there were people asking, well, how can I
- 11:56Speaker 2: where can I watch this lah and app? You know,
- 12:01Speaker 2: but that doesn't mean you can only watch it on
- 12:03Speaker 2: your phone. You know, there's there's you know, other ways.
- 12:06Speaker 3: To do it.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm guessing you can just cast it to your TV.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Actually I do not know that. That's how I did
- 12:12Speaker 1: the rough cut last night. Okay, there you go. Yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: I think you can just do that. Yeah. So anyway,
- 12:18Speaker 1: that's that's coming out this week.
- 12:20Speaker 2: But we've got a lot to talk about with regard
- 12:23Speaker 2: to college football.
- 12:24Speaker 3: We're gonna do that coming up.
- 12:25Speaker 2: We're gonna hear from Steve Sarkisian from the Weekly News Conference.
- 12:28Speaker 2: So that's up next when we continue on Sports Radio
- 12:31Speaker 2: AM thirteen under the zone of the iHeartRadio app.
