Beyond the Meme: Why UFD's Intellectual Property Changes Everything · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:16
Unicorn Fart Dust is amongst an elite group of meme coin
0:20
projects that has intellectual property.
0:25
But you might be wondering, what does that mean for you?
0:28
What does that mean for the community at large?
0:30
What does it mean for the overall project?
0:33
We've got all the answers today because I'm joined by our friend
0:37
Fixless, who's been working on the IP behind the scenes.
0:41
She's a great person. She's the talking flower.
0:44
Fixless, welcome to Duster Club. Welcome to Ron's basement.
0:49
Thanks, Ron. Thanks for having me on.
0:51
Yeah, it's great. Great to see you.
0:52
So the big exciting news that we had, gosh, probably 6-7 weeks
0:57
ago was that we announced our new IP that included the, I
1:02
guess you would say, cartoon visual image of our new Dusty,
1:06
which everybody, I think I've heard one person, one person
1:10
told me they didn't like it, literally.
1:12
And everybody else absolutely loves Dusty.
1:15
So we have here's that. Well, Dusty's right up there.
1:17
Hold on. I can point to him right there,
1:21
upper corner of the screen. And of course we have our name,
1:25
Unicorn Fart Dust that we're registering with the United
1:28
States Patent and Trade Office. And I think that can be maybe
1:33
feel a little intimidating to some people, people in the
1:36
project who've who've said, oh, it's always been open source,
1:39
open source, which it is. But I think it's important for
1:43
us to come on here and give some clarity because I think that for
1:48
99% or more of the people out there, it's really just a, a,
1:53
you know, a, a, the cases that we can continue to operate as we
1:57
have. So I'm going to turn the stage
1:59
over to you and let you kind of share with the community of what
2:04
this means, our new IP and, and, and again, what it means for the
2:07
community, the project and for individuals out there who want
2:11
to keep spreading the UFD dust. Thanks, Ron.
2:15
I think you put it well. But really like most, most
2:19
people, nothing is changing. And the word IP though of course
2:23
can bring up a lot of different questions and like, Oh well, I
2:28
accidentally stepping over something I'm not supposed to.
2:31
And so really the point is to bring some clarity here.
2:34
And I saw you were waving that paper a moment ago with Dusty on
2:37
it. Yeah.
2:39
Yeah, so this right here, this is the paper form, but
2:43
everything that I'm sharing here, you can see in a document
2:46
that I'll be posting on the Discord and perhaps X just as a
2:51
way where it's kind of like a source of truth.
2:53
So if we're ever uncertain of IP or you're looking For more
2:57
information, it'll just all be public.
2:59
And we call it UFDIP one O 1. So it gives a bit of the
3:03
framework for the 1% where you might end up going outside of
3:08
the normal stream of of Fair use.
3:11
Yep, excellent. So you're going to post this
3:13
later and and you know, you start in this document with
3:18
talking about why this exists, why the document exists.
3:22
Do you want to touch on that for one second?
3:25
Yeah. So why the document exists is
3:27
really to get us on the same page of like, why do we even
3:30
have IP or I rose around IP. And I know because so many of us
3:35
are such a tight knit community, there's a lot of trust.
3:38
We might be wondering like, well, why?
3:40
Why do we need rules? But on the other side of things,
3:43
we know that we're continuing to expand in a huge way and will
3:47
continue to. And so part of this is setting
3:50
some things in place so that trust is one of our main values.
3:54
And so when people look at UFD and even they look at Dusty,
3:57
they might think it's instant trust.
3:59
And so if for example, we just get people who maybe want to
4:02
extract or use the brand to make money, create different side
4:04
businesses, create different fundraisers, create different
4:09
events, and they use that brand. In the end, if it ends up being
4:12
used for more extraction or for scams, that can end up heart
4:16
hurting this brand and really this culture that we've
4:19
continued to build. And so this is really for all of
4:22
us. So I really want to preface this
4:24
with it's about big picture and. It's about it's, I'm sorry to
4:29
interrupt you, but I think this is, is critical.
4:31
It's about protecting the project, right.
4:34
And again, it's about protecting the project from maybe the one
4:38
in 1000 or one in 10,000 people out there that may have
4:43
nefarious intentions with our IP.
4:47
And the whole nature of IP and getting it established, which is
4:51
a good thing, is to enable a project to enable a community
4:56
like ours to be able to protect ourselves.
4:58
We don't need to protect ourselves against 99.9% of the
5:02
people out there, right? If, if there's a duster out
5:05
there watching today and, and they think, oh, I'm going to
5:08
make a, you know, a cool AI video, which I love, right?
5:11
All these videos, like, they don't need to get our
5:14
permission. They don't need to get our, you
5:17
know, a contract signed or anything like that.
5:20
What and correct me if I'm wrong, but what we're really
5:22
the, the spirit of what we're doing with IP is protecting
5:27
ourselves from the unfortunate one in 10,000 people out there
5:31
who may decide to use our IP that our community has built,
5:36
right? I mean, the community built this
5:39
in a way that's not beneficial to the community.
5:43
Exactly. Yeah.
5:44
So I'd say that's like the biggest point.
5:46
And then of course, there's other legal aspects that it's
5:49
like in order to keep that so that we can continue to, I
5:53
guess, for lack of a better word, defendant, we need to show
5:55
that we are also upholding the IP, which is why we've laid out
6:00
these, we've put it into 3 categories to make it like
6:03
super, super simple. So maybe we can dive into just
6:07
what those 3 categories are and I'll try to stay within the box
6:11
of each on its owns to not repeat.
6:14
Yeah, yeah. And and I want to, I'll repeat
6:16
one, one more time. All of this is outlined in this
6:19
document. I don't know if it's focusing or
6:22
not White has problem. But anyway, it's all outlined in
6:24
this document that we're going to have posted later on today.
6:28
Yeah, so that first piece like like you were pointing to Ron is
6:32
really about fair use. It's like how do we of spreading
6:35
the dust like most of us already doing through, I know a lot of
6:39
like our community so much based on creativity, like people
6:41
making things out of clay, making videos, making different
6:45
game characters, different arts online, different videos.
6:52
Exactly. And so this case, that's just
6:56
still fair. What's considered fair use?
6:58
So it's anything that's non not monetized, not for sale.
7:02
Of course, there's like brand safe usage.
7:04
So you're there's not like hate, hate speech, you're looking
7:07
pornographic, those sort of things.
7:09
And it's not pretending to be official UFD.
7:13
Again, going back to that point of don't want to confuse people,
7:15
but that's basically the first one, just spreading the dust
7:18
like we already do. And and and a question for you.
7:22
I mean, I think that that category would apply to most
7:26
people that are watching us right now, right?
7:28
The dusters people in the UFD community all over the world
7:32
that are just using the IP to, you know, create a little meme
7:37
or whatever it may be. And as long as it's, you know,
7:40
fits within the general guidelines of what our community
7:43
stands for, good attracts good, it isn't hateful, discriminatory
7:48
or, you know, blatantly or whatever, right, that it's fine.
7:52
There's no problem with it whatsoever.
7:55
Yeah. OK.
7:57
All right, Well, there. I'm like maybe say more.
8:01
I mean, I guess if there's more than people can, sure, but.
8:05
Yeah, and, and I think there was some confusion out there for a
8:08
while where people were like, well, you know, like we were
8:10
going to have some like, massive rule control over what goes out.
8:15
But no, we want people to use their creativity.
8:18
We want. I mean, that's what made UFD
8:20
what it is, right? I mean, one of the very first
8:24
I'll never forget on Christmas Day of 2020, I guess it would
8:30
have been 2024, right? Three years ago, we're an OG
8:34
blue chip meme baby. But it was Christmas Day.
8:37
The project would have been what, about 9 days old at that
8:40
point. And you know, we were driving
8:42
home from Susie's mom's house. It was like 8:00 on Christmas
8:45
night. And I'm driving and Susie's just
8:48
starts laughing hysterically. And because we didn't really
8:51
know what crypto Twitter was, I'm like, what?
8:53
And she was, she was like, Oh my God, you're not going to believe
8:55
there's a guy who's been in our, our, our community for a long
8:58
time, Royal who made an AI video of me and my underwear jumping
9:02
on the ping pong table. And, you know, like, we love
9:05
that kind of creativity. And that obviously didn't
9:08
necessarily directly you, you, you can, you can put Dusty in
9:12
his underwear jumping on the ping pong table.
9:14
I think that would be OK. That wouldn't fall into the
9:17
pornographic zone. But we love that kind of
9:20
creativity. We love, I mean it, it just
9:23
it's, it's part of the deep culture that is UFD and it
9:28
spreads the word. It's people see it, right.
9:30
Every little thing adds up. So sorry I went off on a on a
9:34
Christmas Day story, but that, you know, that's just such a
9:38
critical part of what this community is really doing.
9:42
Yeah, yeah. I'm excited for, like, what's
9:45
going to continue to come out of that because there is such
9:47
incredible creativity, yeah. Absolutely.
9:52
Well, what about the? What about the?
9:54
So the first category is fair use.
9:56
What about category #2 fixed list?
9:59
Yes, we have first fair use, AKA spreading the lore SEC category
10:03
2 is events and initiative. So these are these are some
10:07
examples, but not limited to it. Of course, all of this like what
10:10
we're, we're going to continue to go and learn over time as we
10:13
go, all of us, right? And so invention initiatives
10:16
would be like community events, hobby projects, fundraisers.
10:20
And again, this comes back to the big picture of as we
10:25
continue to grow, keeping our name intact.
10:28
And this is something that so say you're creating one of these
10:31
like community events, hobby projects, fundraisers with the
10:34
like name and visuals of UFD. Then you just submit a
10:38
description, some sample content, and then if there's
10:42
like funds raised, that would just be proof of funds raised
10:45
and donated. So this is super simple and part
10:47
of it too. So we know what, as we continue
10:49
to grow, we know what things people are actually doing in the
10:51
community so we can celebrate them.
10:55
Yeah, yeah. And again, I think it's there to
10:57
protect the project, to protect the community, to protect the
11:02
99.9% of the people in the community that have worked so
11:06
hard to make this what it is to get us in this position of where
11:11
we are right now. And I'm and I'm and I'm, I'm
11:13
going to go off on another little side note fix.
11:15
So I, because I'll probably forget to do this.
11:17
I do want to note that there was, there were, and I don't
11:20
want to name names, but I can all of you out there that were
11:23
involved know this is the case. There was a ton of work put into
11:27
establishing the IP and money donated to establish the IP and
11:33
then continued work on your behalf and other people that are
11:37
that are taking initiative to help protect the IP.
11:42
It's all, there's a lot of work that I mean, this, this was a
11:46
lot of work. I think you, you know, fix it,
11:48
but there was a lot of other work as well.
11:50
So I want to say thank you to all those people before I
11:52
forget. That's all sad.
11:55
I can't imagine like the amount of work because I know it was
11:57
like kind of the passing a baton and I haven't been involved in
12:00
IP since the edition, but I can only, I can only imagine like
12:03
you're saying, the time and resources.
12:05
And because this is people donate their time and their
12:08
energy for the love of UFD, which is something so magical in
12:12
itself. But yeah, I really think of even
12:14
when I'm contributing here, it's like way to honour the also the
12:17
continued and past efforts of other people.
12:20
It's no small feat, no. No, because there's only a
12:25
handful of meme coin projects out there that actually have
12:28
their IP established. I mean, it really puts us in an
12:32
elite category of of meme coin projects.
12:36
Yeah, it really, it really does. Like you guys were saying like,
12:39
well, I, I think I understand that with even different
12:42
listings, it's like you need IP or like say you want to go
12:45
collaborate with bigger brands. If you don't have that you,
12:48
you're, you're going to bring a risk to collaboration because
12:51
you can't defend, you can't actually show that you have
12:55
ownership over it. So this opens up the world,
12:57
frankly, I think to us a whole level of creativity and
13:00
collaboration that just which is kind of leading to the Third
13:03
Point, another level of creativity and collaboration
13:05
that opens up to a whole another degree of the world.
13:08
And because we're so interconnected all over the
13:10
world, who knows what kind of connections we have and what
13:12
this can help, right? Yeah, absolutely.
13:15
And I think the the Kraken Athletico de Madrid contest is a
13:20
great example, right? I mean, we have our IP.
13:23
They can feel comfortable knowing that, you know, if we
13:26
were to win that contest, that they could put Dusty on the
13:30
sleeve of that, you know, world class soccer football team and
13:35
not have to worry about somebody saying, hey, that's our image.
13:38
That's my no, that's our image. You know, we have the IP.
13:43
So it really does open up a whole world of opportunities for
13:46
us, which kind of leads into the third category.
13:49
And I'll I'll let you take that away.
13:51
Fixless the talking flower. Yes.
13:53
So over to the talking flower, which I actually like looking at
13:57
this flower, it's. Rude.
13:59
I love it too. I was like, oh wait, you know
14:01
what? Before I forget everybody out
14:03
there and then and then we'll come right back.
14:05
I want to show you hold on here. Oh shoot, here we are.
14:09
I got it and boom should be on the screen right now.
14:13
This is a fixed list on X. That's her.
14:17
I guess what do they call that profile?
14:19
So if you want to go check her out and follow her, you can go
14:22
there to hold on fixless form, which is at the Fixless
14:28
form.com. And before we get done, I'm
14:30
going to ask you about that name.
14:31
But let's go to that third category first before I get us
14:35
too distracted. There we go.
14:39
So the third category that we have first is the fair use AKA
14:42
spreading the the dust 2, we have events and initiatives
14:46
spreading the dust and I guess in the flesh and then three
14:50
commercial slash for profit. And so this is really anything
14:54
that is of course like has to do with monetized or is used within
14:58
business entities. So sometimes people will want to
15:01
collaborate and then they'll will actually be a portion of
15:05
those proceeds. For example, commercial would go
15:07
back to UFD. The other side could be that our
15:09
name has value, our brand has value, our community would build
15:13
has value. And so when business entities
15:15
also use that within their own business context, that's also
15:20
adding value to their brand. So this is this third one of
15:25
commercial slash for profit. This one is more like more of a
15:31
process. If someone wants to go down this
15:33
path, it's we're looking more at like the legal side, looking at
15:38
actually licensing, looking at value brand alignment, doing
15:43
more like contract stuff. And also keep in mind that the
15:47
with this area, it's, it's something that takes more time,
15:51
energy and resources. And yeah, like, I mean, there's
15:56
financial, but there's also the time of dusters, right, That
15:59
everything here requires time of other dusters and yourself.
16:03
And so that's something to really keep in mind as I could
16:06
see in the future potentially like, oh, why didn't this go
16:09
through? Would that go through?
16:11
And it's like as we grow, capacity will grow.
16:14
But there's something to keep in mind, the humanity, I guess, of
16:17
how this gets executed. Yeah, yeah.
16:20
And I think that again, this does not apply to the
16:24
overwhelming vast majority of people that are watching us
16:29
right now, but it kind of does apply to them.
16:32
And it I think it does in this regard because they're part of
16:35
this community. And if somebody's going to use
16:38
our IP, for instance, to make, I got a list, let's say somebody
16:42
wants to make a stuffed animal or somebody wants to make a, a
16:45
drink, right? Like a Unicorn fart punch, like
16:48
I've talked about before, or somebody wants to make a cartoon
16:51
series or somebody wants to make a, a kids soap.
16:55
I mean, the list goes on and on and on that number one, it
16:58
protects the community because the community is what has built
17:03
this project in this intellectual property into what
17:07
it is. So the community then in the
17:10
project should reap some benefit from that.
17:12
So while this doesn't directly apply to to the people out there
17:17
who are putting out, you know, spreading the lore and, and
17:20
spreading the dust and making fun memes and all that great
17:23
stuff. It does kind of apply to them
17:26
because they've helped to kind of build it into what it is.
17:29
So if someone is, you know, if a big toy company decides, hey,
17:33
look at this Unicorn part, this thing, it's really cute.
17:35
Let's make a let's make a line of kids figurines and sell them
17:39
at Walmart. Well, we want to make sure that
17:41
the project in the community reap some benefit from that.
17:44
Is that an accurate statement? Fixed list the talking flower.
17:49
Yes, the talking flower says yes.
17:53
OK. All right.
17:55
What else in that regard, or what else in general when it
17:57
comes to IP, do we need to talk about?
18:00
Yeah, so I just say on the commercial slash for profit and
18:02
and this is also in the document that I one can bring.
18:07
There are different ways to engage with this.
18:09
Of course. It might be like say wreck
18:10
drinks like I see in the back they come, they want to create
18:12
Unicorn fart punch and they'd come directly to us through
18:16
Discord or however I guess they would find us.
18:20
And then the other path could be that dusters have different
18:22
connections in the world or different ideas, and the the
18:25
best place to bring those is to the Discord.
18:28
So we don't need to do everything as a lone wolf, but
18:30
we can see like where is there actually interest?
18:33
And then maybe people there, we set up almost like an organic
18:36
hub emergence of people are like, I want to bring this into
18:38
form. Yes.
18:42
And so that's how I feel a sense like this will come up quite
18:44
organically. We see where is the interest
18:46
dusters come in that want to help bring it to life.
18:49
And then we can help make those networking connections to make
18:52
it happen. Yeah, yeah.
18:54
And I, and I can, I also want to share this story.
18:57
You know, we just established our IP 5-6 weeks ago.
19:01
Prior to that, like let's say back in February, March of last
19:05
year, I had several organizations, people, I don't
19:09
want to go into details, reach out to me with ideas.
19:12
And the first thing they asked is do you have the IP?
19:17
And we didn't, right. And unfortunately some of those
19:20
opportunities weren't, we weren't able to capitalize on
19:23
them because we didn't have our IP.
19:26
So and not only does it protect the project and protect the
19:30
community because of all the work they put into this, but it
19:33
also really does help us be able to to capitalize on these
19:39
opportunities as they come in the future.
19:45
And you said something that I think is very important that I
19:49
actually had written down. If you have questions about
19:51
this, the Discord group, the Unicorn Fart Dust Discord
19:55
channel, is it a call the channel?
19:57
I'm still learning Discord, but I'm using it more and more
19:59
myself. That's the place to go to ask
20:03
questions. And if you have questions or
20:05
you're not sure about something, whatever.
20:07
I mean, the spirit of this is to that make it be a huge, huge
20:12
benefit to the project in the community.
20:14
Yeah, exactly. A united front to spread the
20:18
dust. Yes, we have and you said that
20:22
you're going to we're going to post this in the Discord and
20:25
probably on X as well when we after we wrap up here fix list.
20:30
Yes, OK. It'll first be on the Discord
20:32
and I take more time to get on on X, but it will be on the
20:36
Discord and that'll be an area where then you can easily find
20:39
it at any time. OK, OK.
20:42
And, and I did forget to do the most important thing at the
20:45
beginning, which was to thank you and tell you what a big
20:47
honor it is to have you. I know you've been working
20:50
tirelessly on this and for you to come on here and be willing
20:54
to help me learn, right? Because I'm a community member
20:59
and IP is not my specialty per SE.
21:02
And I know you've done a lot of work and a ton of research into
21:04
all this. So we really appreciate you
21:07
coming on here and. Oh, OK.
21:10
Yeah. Susie, just guess what.
21:12
Talking flower, Fixless. You can't see the talking
21:17
flower. It's she's on the screen.
21:19
Oh, no, Yeah, we can't. OK, No.
21:23
Right. Because I have a feed here for
21:24
some reason, everybody. So you don't know, on my screen,
21:27
there's a flower, but you can't see it.
21:29
That's why I keep calling fixless the talking flower.
21:31
But Susie had a great recommendation because of all
21:34
the hard work you've done, Fixless, everything you're doing
21:38
for the community, we as the Unicorn fart desk community
21:41
would like to designate you as duster of the day.
21:44
But I want everybody out there to help me, right?
21:47
Let's pick up the Golden Horn and put it on our friend.
21:51
Fixless, Fixless. I think this is one of the
21:54
first, I think this is the very first live ever duster of the
21:57
day. So congratulations, you deserve
21:59
it, Nicholas. Thank you and thank you to
22:02
everyone else who's contributed and in any way.
22:05
I know there's been so many people that have got us to where
22:07
we are in terms of IP and I mean you continue to show up every
22:11
day as well, Ron and it's that's an inspiration itself.
22:14
You know what fix? Listen, I know you've got a time
22:16
constraint. You got to get running, but we
22:20
build this project. We build this project every
22:24
single day. And I really believe that.
22:27
Like seriously, every day we add another little layer onto our
22:31
foundation, another couple beans in the jug.
22:34
However you want to look at her to think about it and that and
22:38
that that can get that continues to position us at a spot that I
22:45
think could could really be beneficial down the road.
22:50
And that's I think really in a lot of ways, one of the biggest
22:53
catalysts that we can ask for every day is that we continue to
22:57
show up and it sets us apart. One of the ways that sets us
23:01
apart from a lot of the other meme coin projects out there.
23:04
You know the other thing, and I wrote this down because I was on
23:06
a spaces last night, Tommy, and there's a guy named Tommy who's
23:10
running spaces from time to time for UFD.
23:13
It was another great success and there were people in there last
23:17
night. I want to mention this gimmicks
23:19
UFD Betty, Georgie King cause was in there.
23:23
I saw OB in there. And the one thing I wished I'd
23:26
said after you always wished you'd said when, when we're done
23:29
here later on today, fix the list.
23:31
You're going to think, man, I wish I'd said this.
23:33
You know, you always, always right.
23:37
But you know what? The one thing I wish I'd said
23:39
last night was that that I'd shared with kind of the more
23:42
general public. And I say this on a regular
23:44
basis, but like all those people are such high quality.
23:48
Just that group that was there last night, they were speakers.
23:51
I saw them on the screen in the literally, honestly, these are
23:55
people that, you know, I have children and, and when they were
23:59
five year twins and when they were five years old, I would
24:02
have felt comfortable letting any of them babysit my kids for
24:04
a couple days. And I'm very selective about who
24:07
I would let watch my kids. I mean, we just have an
24:10
unbelievable group of people in this project and it's, I, I
24:14
believe it sets us apart from a lot of the other projects out
24:18
there. Absolutely.
24:20
That's that's really something. Yep.
24:23
OK, so there we there we have it guys.
24:26
I hope that we've offered you some clarity and some
24:29
excitement. Like I'm super excited about the
24:32
about the IPI mean, pretty much everybody watching can, can, can
24:37
continue to do what they're doing.
24:38
If you're going to, if you want to use the IP to start a
24:41
business or sell a product, whatever.
24:44
So we want the project to be involved, right?
24:46
I think that's fair, right? The, the community, the project
24:49
has worked very hard to make this IP what it is and that the
24:55
community at large and including the people out there that do
24:58
want, I'm encourage people, right?
25:00
If you have ideas, go for it. We'll work with you and we'll do
25:04
it in a very, you know, positive away with the spirit of let's
25:09
make something great for UFD. Pixelis.
25:12
Is there anything that I forgot to ask you today, now that
25:15
you're the duster of the day? I think that's everything, but
25:19
you were saying you wanted to ask me about the name.
25:21
Oh yes, yes, well, there you go. I forgot.
25:24
Tell us, where does the name Pixel's form come from?
25:27
Yeah, You know, the name came off of profiles.
25:30
I'm like, oh, what name? And you want to change it to
25:32
this or that as you change over time.
25:34
And then this name kind of popped up where I'm like, fix
25:37
this form because like form and the forms of life that it takes
25:40
is always shifting. And so it's kind of a
25:43
philosophical nudge to that. OK, OK.
25:47
And and when I and when and and and how would you think that
25:50
might apply to a meme coin project like Unicorn fart dust,
25:55
right. Like our how we evolve and
25:57
change because I've seen a lot of that over the last year.
26:01
Yeah, well, it's, it's kind of like being like being human.
26:04
Like there's this part of us that we always know is like, you
26:08
know, wherever whatever stage I am in life, like I can, I can
26:11
feel that part of fixless. But at the same time it kind of
26:15
like this flower, like kind of takes different balloons,
26:18
different shades and same as like UFD.
26:20
When I feel into that, it's like there is this essence which is
26:25
UFD and to it the same. It's like to at the same time
26:30
allow it to move and shift. I'm almost thinking like a
26:33
martial art to shift and grow into different forms.
26:36
So as much as we might like it at one stage, like it'll
26:39
continue to evolve into the next, to the next, to the next.
26:41
And so to really acknowledge where we are and then to
26:46
wherever the next moment takes us.
26:48
Yeah, think about, think about where UFD could be 5 years from
26:52
now, right. Think about where UFD could be a
26:54
year from now. Because I can tell you having,
26:57
you know, been in the project, I, I think I can accurately say
27:02
deeply over the last year, this project has evolved.
27:06
I mean, the community and it, it's all about community, right?
27:09
The community today is way different than it was a year
27:14
ago, and there were some great people, a lot of the people that
27:18
are still here today, we're here a year ago.
27:21
But the community has definitely evolved and evolved in a very,
27:25
very good way. When I think about the UFD, when
27:28
I think of fixed, fixless form, you know, when I think of the
27:31
UFD community, and I think you were kind of saying this, right?
27:34
Like UFD is real, right? Like we have our IP, we have our
27:38
dusty, we have these real relationships and emotional
27:43
bonds with each other that make the community and the community
27:46
is a real thing, but it's not fixed.
27:49
It's like this, this, this always kind of evolving.
27:53
And I don't know if the right word is nebulous, but there's
27:56
just all these connections and then it continues.
27:59
And to me, what's important to me are the quality connections,
28:03
right? And, and you know, I say this
28:05
often lately, but it's all based on trust, right?
28:09
It's all based on a foundation of trust with, between people
28:14
and, and trusting each other that builds these relationships.
28:18
And the relationships are what makes up the community.
28:21
And the community is what makes up UFD.
28:24
And, and, and, and I think it's a powerful and I believe this
28:28
100% in my heart that one of the biggest kind of evolutionary
28:34
changes that I've seen in the Unicorn Park dust community over
28:37
the last year is that the good, like the people that have stuck
28:41
around are the people that are good and trust each other.
28:46
And I'm not saying anything negative about anyone who, for
28:48
whatever reason, may have the re buttercup to themselves, and
28:52
they're always welcome to come back.
28:53
As we've had, you know, life changes, things change.
28:57
We always welcome back our good dusters right to come back into
29:00
the community. But at the core, and as I look
29:03
at like, if I'd take a snapshot right now of our community, what
29:08
I see are, are people that really trust each other and,
29:13
and, and, and, and not that that wasn't the case a year ago, but
29:18
the reality is it takes time, right?
29:20
Trust is built overtime. And now we have this incredible
29:24
group of people. And I mean, I don't mean that,
29:26
Oh, we're all, you know, super successful doctors and lawyers
29:31
and India, whatever, right? It's, it's people that across
29:34
the whole spectrum of society, a whole spectrum of different
29:38
beliefs, races, geographical locations.
29:41
But the, but the one thing, if I take that snapshot that we have
29:44
now are a lot of people that really trust each other and
29:47
really feel connected. And I think there's no more
29:50
powerful force than that out there.
29:52
And that's why we want to protect them and us with IP.
29:58
Well said. I sometimes I like to talk.
30:04
I tell you what you do. You like to talk?
30:10
I have a niece that called me preacher Ron.
30:12
I don't know, but you know, anyway, that's why I sit in my
30:15
basement and talk and I often tell people, hey, don't worry,
30:17
to get tired of listening to me. I get tired of listening to
30:20
myself. Plus, this has been great.
30:23
I feel like you've given us real clarity, right on the real
30:27
benefits for the for everybody in UFD as the why we have the IP
30:33
and and kind of how it's being managed.
30:35
And I want to read it, reiterate one last time for most every
30:39
single person out there. I don't, I forget how to say it,
30:43
but it's like, you know, proceed as normal, right?
30:46
Just, you know, you keep doing what you're doing.
30:48
We encourage you to get out there, spread the lore of UFD
30:52
and we've got some great things ahead for us.
30:55
Thank you Fixless. Thank you, Ron.
30:58
All right, everybody, Yep, let's say goodbye.
31:01
Goodbye, everybody. Have a great day.
31:03
I'll be back tomorrow. Wednesday.
31:05
I have Gigi on as a special guest at 12 noon Central.
31:09
Friday. I will be on Bren's live stream
31:15
and there'll be announcements about all this, but the last one
31:18
we did with him got a lot of views and was really a great
31:21
thing. So there's a couple things
31:23
coming up this week. And of course, there's surprises
31:26
around every corner with Unicorn Fart desk.
31:28
So thanks again, Fix, Fix List. Thanks to all the dusters out
31:32
there. Horns up, right, everybody,
31:34
horns up. And everyone, please
31:36
congratulate Fix List on her massive honor of being
31:39
designated Duster of the Day. We'll see you soon fix list.
31:42
Thank you. Thanks.
31:44
So much. Bye everybody.
