- 0:03Happy. What is it, Kim?
- 0:05Tuesday, Tuesday. It's Tuesday.
- 0:11And my beautiful wife has always said to me, she says, Kenny, I
- 0:17have a dream. I have a dream.
- 0:21And I said, honey, what? What is that dream?
- 0:24What is your dream? It was to go to Niagara Falls
- 0:27someday. So the first time you came here,
- 0:32I was at home raising babies. I was running ASA 198687 well.
- 0:39You ran Nazareth in the Bush series.
- 0:43You came, you have a memory like an elephant.
- 0:46How do you remember all that stuff?
- 0:47I remember everything. OK so we are in Niagara Falls,
- 0:53NY. We're not very good at
- 0:57geography. Had no idea that Buffalo, NY was
- 1:01like 20 miles away. Are you having a good time on a
- 1:05motorcycle? Wonderful time.
- 1:07You're a good rider, You love riding.
- 1:10Why do you like motorcycles so much?
- 1:13I don't really like motorcycles so much, but I am solid on the
- 1:18ground on this. We have a trike.
- 1:21It's it's all about the charity ride.
- 1:23Yeah, what's your trike called? The Kimberly Marie?
- 1:27Yes, you named it that. Yes, I did.
- 1:31OK. We are at Niagara Falls, NY
- 1:34We're going to talk about Adam Stern.
- 1:37All right. I love you.
- 1:39I'm going to talk about racing. Go right ahead.
- 1:42OK, so here's her helmet real quick, the solid rain gear.
- 1:48But there's Kim's helmet. Pretty cool.
- 1:54Yeah. All right, So, Adam, I'm on.
- 1:59Well, let's do. Let's do Niagara Falls first.
- 2:01We're not. We're right.
- 2:02We're close. So right there it starts.
- 2:06As you can see, we got a beautiful view, beautiful park
- 2:13right there. Yeah.
- 2:18OK. So what is a good, good light
- 2:21right here? All right, Adam Stern, who is a
- 2:25good journalist and all the NASCAR people, everybody takes
- 2:29Adam Stern very serious. So a lady on X just on my
- 2:35timeline shares this article with me and it is a it is a
- 2:40beautiful article. It's from it's not from Adam
- 2:43Stern. Basically it's in the Sun
- 2:44Sentinel and it's this 54 year old NASCAR fan, he's been to at
- 2:52least 100 NASCAR races and he said he went to the what, the
- 2:58Formula One, Miami, Grand Prairie, something like that.
- 3:02And he said you don't have to be wealthy.
- 3:07So number one, a 54 year old NASCAR fan who's been to 100
- 3:13NASCAR races, went to the Miami Grand Prix, doesn't have any
- 3:17money. And it was the, the, the
- 3:21experience was way better than a NASCAR race, just just way
- 3:25better. So I'm going to respond to this.
- 3:31I'm not at war with anybody and I love everything.
- 3:36Obviously I race a dirt car. I won the Prelude.
- 3:40Listen, I won the Prelude to the Dream at Eldora back in 2005 and
- 3:47it got me addicted to dirt cars. I want it in a super late model.
- 3:52I fell in love with super late models.
- 3:54Then I said, these son of a bitches are too expensive.
- 3:57I'm not going to run a super late model.
- 3:59I might, I might as well go back and run the Xfinity Series if
- 4:02I'm going to run a super late model.
- 4:05So I went to the Modifieds. OK, I have, I have, you know,
- 4:12tested, you know, World of Outlaw wing Sprint car.
- 4:17I've raced at the Chili Bowl. I have done a whole shot in the
- 4:22Jags Pro Stock drag car. I think you get the point,
- 4:27right? I've raced a lot of different
- 4:29race cars and a lot of my experiences on asphalt.
- 4:34I'm an asphalt racer. I've been running dirt for quite
- 4:37a bit now. So it's very safe to say that I
- 4:40am a chameleon. I can fit in anywhere, OK?
- 4:46I can fit in anywhere. I love.
- 4:50I love everybody and I love everything.
- 4:53Now let's de bull all this, OK? It seems like it, and I've
- 5:01talked about it. There is this societal shift.
- 5:04There's a societal shift. We all know NASCAR, We know
- 5:09this. This is fact.
- 5:11NASCAR is the Grand Pooh Pah. There's nothing bigger than
- 5:15NASCAR. We just got done racing at
- 5:17Texas, where Texas Motor Speedway and the media, Jeff
- 5:22Gluck said. This is the biggest crowd I've
- 5:24ever seen at Texas in 20 years. You name it, all the media, all
- 5:31the fans, and they said it was a great race.
- 5:35It was a really good race. So Texas Motor Speedway was one
- 5:41of the biggest crowds we've seen in 20 years.
- 5:44All the TV ratings for everything in NASCAR are up now.
- 5:51Did we have a couple races that you all didn't like?
- 5:54A couple you didn't like Talladega and you didn't like
- 5:58Bristol? But for the most part, Talladega
- 6:03and Bristol were good races. They just weren't the ones you
- 6:06liked because, you know, for one reason or another, I am not
- 6:14going to pit 2 racing series against each other.
- 6:20And here's why because we're all in this together.
- 6:24Formula One is a complete different beast and it and one
- 6:28thing I'm going to say right now that's not controversial, but it
- 6:31can be deemed controversial is if you're going to tell me that
- 6:37Formula One racing is better than NASCAR racing, well, that's
- 6:44false. It's it's not even true Formula
- 6:48One racing. The way they race, it doesn't
- 6:51even come close to how exciting NASCAR is.
- 6:56So if you're going to go to a Formula One race, because they
- 7:01got a lot of fanfare, they got drinking and vans and you know,
- 7:08things going on. Oh, I agree with you and I, and
- 7:11I've already did videos about this.
- 7:12We've already done coffee with Kenny about this.
- 7:15We all know that Formula One is about the experience.
- 7:19So a lot of people talk out of both sides of their mouth.
- 7:23They go, the racing's no good. And you're, I'm an intelligent
- 7:28race fan. I know about racing.
- 7:30You can't fool me. This racing is no good.
- 7:33So I'm going to go over here to Formula One and where we know
- 7:36the racing's no good, but we're going to have a good time
- 7:38because they got some good bands playing, they got good food and
- 7:43drinking, and you like the sophistication of the car.
- 7:48It's two different things, everybody.
- 7:51You're going to go to a Formula One race because you enjoy the
- 7:53experience. You're going to go to a NASCAR
- 7:56race because it's a great experience too.
- 7:58But the racing's better. NASCAR racing is better.
- 8:02It's not even a damn La La La La la.
- 8:06So Adam Stern shares this article from the Sun Sentinel.
- 8:12You know, whatever. All I'm saying is whatever,
- 8:17respond right here. Basically, the key takeaways out
- 8:21of this whole Kenny conversation is this Formula One racing is
- 8:27not better than NASCAR. I would say that Liberty, who
- 8:33bought Formula One, they have figured it out.
- 8:37They listen. We wouldn't be talking about
- 8:40Formula One if it weren't for Liberty Media because they got
- 8:44the Drive to survive on Netflix. They have made Formula One cool.
- 8:52Now I'll go with you. NASCAR needs to have a media
- 8:57company. Make NASCAR cool again for some
- 9:01of you. But TV ratings are going up, the
- 9:06crowds, the NASCAR tracks are going up, We are trending
- 9:10upwards. And as far as comparing Formula
- 9:14One to NASCAR, two complete different deals.
- 9:19I love, I just love Formula One. I love those cars.
- 9:24Remember, I was over in Modena, Italy, and I was at Ferrari and
- 9:28Lewis HAMP. I'll say one thing about the
- 9:30fans. Those fans are rabid, rabid,
- 9:34rabid. Like I guess like rabbit,
- 9:35Rabbit, I got a disease. I'm rabid.
- 9:39I don't know if I said it right, but I, Max Pappas explains it
- 9:43best to me. The reason the fans in Europe
- 9:47are so excited about Formula One is because Ferrari is the only
- 9:53automaker in the whole damn country.
- 9:56You got all of Italy, all of Italy and it's Ferrari and
- 10:00that's it over here. We got Ford, Chevy.
- 10:05You know, you got, you got lots of automakers over here.
- 10:09So respond right here. You're not going to hurt my
- 10:11feelings. We've already talked about this.
- 10:14You're never going to get me and I win.
- 10:17I win at everything in my mind, I win.
- 10:20I'm not going to argue with you. I'm just going to say that it's
- 10:25a nice article, but whatever. Have a great, great Tuesday,
- 10:33everybody.
