- 0:01Speaker 1: The Blaze in Confused. Podcast is rated M for marijuana
- 0:04Speaker 1: no miners. But your audience is only.
- 0:08Speaker 2: So wait, so anybody else joining us in the room
- 0:11Speaker 2: other than our studio audience.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Today or what people pop in?
- 0:15Speaker 3: Because the last time you were here, you were talking
- 0:17Speaker 3: about how when your kids were younger, you couldn't really
- 0:20Speaker 3: have their friends over very often.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Right didn't you say that because it was over because
- 0:25Speaker 1: they were like afraid? Oh really yeah? Yeah, and the
- 0:27Speaker 1: parents were like I.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Thought, maybe it was like overwhelming for you too first,
- 0:31Speaker 3: you know, maybe them to be in the house with
- 0:34Speaker 3: their relatives visiting or something.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I didn't know.
- 0:36Speaker 4: No, but it's usually when I go to other people's houses,
- 0:39Speaker 4: it becomes a little it could become crazy. Hospitals are
- 0:43Speaker 4: the worst, really, Like you would think funeral homes would
- 0:46Speaker 4: be the worst, but they're not. Hospitals Like, sometimes people
- 0:49Speaker 4: don't know they're dead.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Sometimes people don't know that they're dead. Yeah, now that's
- 0:55Speaker 2: a statement, right, Let me try to unravel that here.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Sometimes know that they're dead. No, So what happened? Can
- 1:04Speaker 1: you give me an example of that?
- 1:06Speaker 4: Could I give you an example of that? Have you
- 1:08Speaker 4: seen the movie The Sixth Sense?
- 1:10Speaker 1: No is it longer than an hour and a half. Yes, no,
- 1:13Speaker 1: can't do it. No, you couldn't do it. That's my rule.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Hour and a half. Oh okay, yeah, his attention span
- 1:20Speaker 1: is completely checks out.
- 1:21Speaker 2: A lot of movies knocks out a lot of the basics,
- 1:23Speaker 2: like you know, what's it called good Fellas? Yeah, never
- 1:26Speaker 2: seen it, Godfather, never seen it. That shit's too long,
- 1:30Speaker 2: and there's.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Like nine of them. Who has time to sit and
- 1:32Speaker 1: watch that? Anyway? We're getting off ti right, Yeah, Harry Potter,
- 1:36Speaker 1: I tried, believe it or not. I read the books
- 1:38Speaker 1: way back in the day. I used to be a reader.
- 1:40Speaker 4: But there you go.
- 1:41Speaker 1: You used to be able to read. I mean I
- 1:42Speaker 1: can still read, but just.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Not like okay, well you know how Harry Potter, they
- 1:45Speaker 4: have the ghosts. That would be somebody who maybe not
- 1:49Speaker 4: doesn't know.
- 1:50Speaker 1: That they're dead, doesn't know that they're dead. Okay.
- 1:53Speaker 4: So if a person is in an automobile accident and
- 1:56Speaker 4: it's tragic, right, happens really fast, and the soul is
- 2:01Speaker 4: thrown from the body, then they may not know that
- 2:04Speaker 4: they're dead.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Wow, Okay, do they eventually figure it out or.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Like, yes, eventually you're like, ah fuck, oh ship Man.
- 2:17Speaker 3: It's like that movie Ghost right, but no, he is
- 2:21Speaker 3: aoo in that one, isn't that.
- 2:25Speaker 2: My Love?
- 2:26Speaker 1: And she's playing with the clay?
- 2:29Speaker 4: Doubt and Demi Moore.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I read today that that was impromptu. It was not planned. Yeah,
- 2:37Speaker 3: they just kind of did it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Well, that's ironic that you read that idea. I read
- 2:40Speaker 1: it this morning. It's impromptu. It's because what do you
- 2:42Speaker 1: mean it's impromptu? They had to have the clay there or.
- 2:46Speaker 3: It was just something they came up with. It wasn't
- 2:48Speaker 3: in the script, that's all. I'm just saying, that's what
- 2:50Speaker 3: they makes.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't believe, because where did the hell Like,
- 2:55Speaker 1: you know, you have to make clay? Yeah, you have
- 2:57Speaker 1: to prepare that, don't you What do you mean wasn't
- 3:00Speaker 1: in the script? Like wouldn't you have to like bring
- 3:02Speaker 1: like the machine? I know, how hard is it to
- 3:05Speaker 1: acquire clay at the last second?
- 3:07Speaker 4: I don't know, But it's like the big machine, like
- 3:09Speaker 4: a real thought thing, Like that's not just something.
- 3:11Speaker 1: To go ahead think about, let's cut the moment.
- 3:14Speaker 2: You know what, pottery, I've always wanted to make my
- 3:17Speaker 2: own pot bring it up.
- 3:19Speaker 3: In the movie ur Uri. Anyway, we're way off course
- 3:24Speaker 3: supposed to be spooky.
- 3:25Speaker 2: God damn it real quick though, I'll tell you a
- 3:27Speaker 2: funny story about that song un Chained Melody from that
- 3:30Speaker 2: movie The Righteous Brothers.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:32Speaker 2: So, when I was in middle school, middle school choir,
- 3:34Speaker 2: I was in like the sixth grade. So how old
- 3:35Speaker 2: are you when you're in the sixth grade, you're like eleven?
- 3:38Speaker 2: Talk about a strange song for a bunch of fucking
- 3:41Speaker 2: sixth graders to be singing?
- 3:42Speaker 1: She chose that song?
- 3:43Speaker 4: Why?
- 3:44Speaker 1: And then where we are singing this song? And I
- 3:47Speaker 1: remember going home, and I remember going to my room,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and I remember hearing my mom through the wall say
- 3:52Speaker 1: to my dad, don't you think that's a weird song
- 3:54Speaker 1: for a bunch of.
- 4:02Speaker 3: No super excited to have Lori Moore back, psychic Intuitive.
- 4:05Speaker 3: We have some guests today in the audience, which is
- 4:07Speaker 3: very cool. Maybe some people will choose to join us,
- 4:10Speaker 3: or they already hear. I had a friend of yours
- 4:14Speaker 3: pop in before I came of mine.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Yes, let's talk about that after we get off this.
- 4:18Speaker 1: My friends never joined. Well, he was your friend too,
- 4:20Speaker 1: He said, your fucking idiot. It sounds like Bob.
- 4:25Speaker 4: I told him. I'm like, you know, they're gonna have
- 4:26Speaker 4: an audience at the show. He goes, They're fucking idiot.
- 4:29Speaker 4: I was like, okay, that makes me very happy to know. Yeah,
- 4:32Speaker 4: it was pretty cool. He's in a good you know,
- 4:36Speaker 4: he's as good as he could be.
- 4:38Speaker 3: It's so funny because we recorded with our friend Eric
- 4:42Speaker 3: the realtor last week, and he had some abilities coming
- 4:45Speaker 3: that he's starting to realize now and he's like forty
- 4:48Speaker 3: eight years old, and he kind of brought up a
- 4:52Speaker 3: situation with him too. Oh wow, you said something about
- 4:56Speaker 3: a yellow dog, a dog and a woman that has
- 4:58Speaker 3: blonde and Bob's ex girlfriend is a blonde woman who
- 5:02Speaker 3: took his dog. Oh yeah, pretty interesting, he said. But
- 5:06Speaker 3: he also said the dog was fluffy. He said it
- 5:08Speaker 3: was like a fluffier dog. I said, a little fluffy dog.
- 5:10Speaker 3: That dog ate little or fluffy. He's still learning, all right,
- 5:13Speaker 3: He's still learning. It's a difference between you and him.
- 5:15Speaker 3: He's still learned a learning in life and you stopped
- 5:17Speaker 3: him a while. You're still learning and I'm still a skeptic.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Well anyway, okay, so let's talk a little bit about
- 5:23Speaker 3: your friend. Well can we do that? Should I press
- 5:25Speaker 3: the open thing first?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Yeah? He probably it is your show, all right.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Yeah, Welcome to the Blazed and Confused Podcast with Becker
- 5:38Speaker 5: and Joel, the trivia podcast where the questions are.
- 5:42Speaker 1: High, and so are they.
- 5:44Speaker 5: It's time to fuck your curiosity and light up some
- 5:47Speaker 5: knowledge though. Blazed and Confused podcast starts now.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Hello, isn't it like Halloween?
- 5:58Speaker 3: It is salad? And when this episode drops it yeah
- 6:01Speaker 3: the next thing Halloween?
- 6:02Speaker 1: Really yeah? Absolute? Yeah, we saved the best for last
- 6:06Speaker 1: for spooky season.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Thank you. Absolutely yeah. So pressure's on now handle it
- 6:13Speaker 4: s better be good.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm Becker. That's my friend Joel. Hello.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Today's guest Laurie Moore, Psychic Intuitive, let's say back.
- 6:21Speaker 1: For her second appearance on the podcast.
- 6:23Speaker 3: We loved having you the first time. Couldn't wait to
- 6:25Speaker 3: get you back. Absolutely absolutely, so tell us what you
- 6:28Speaker 3: were going to say before.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Oh about your friends? Okay, So something that happens to
- 6:32Speaker 4: me When I am explaining to people how another person died,
- 6:37Speaker 4: like if they are curious or if they want to
- 6:39Speaker 4: know what happened, My abilities put me in their body,
- 6:43Speaker 4: so I kind of see things through their eyes, like
- 6:45Speaker 4: how it happened. Okay, So your friends you know, now,
- 6:51Speaker 4: I only met Bob maybe twice in my which was
- 6:54Speaker 4: like twenty seven years ago, you know, so I don't
- 7:00Speaker 4: necessarily know him, but he said, like he just he
- 7:06Speaker 4: just like died, do you know what I mean? It
- 7:08Speaker 4: was like on the spot, like just that was it.
- 7:11Speaker 1: That's what it appeared. Yeah to be he was.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Like cigarettes still not burning, but like it was like
- 7:16Speaker 4: a long ash. He had marijuana that was out. It
- 7:22Speaker 4: was he had a couple of jars of marijuana and
- 7:26Speaker 4: uh and and I guess like a little you know
- 7:29Speaker 4: thing that he was smoking. So yeah, yeah, he said
- 7:32Speaker 4: he was there and then not there. Yeah, I remember.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I remember the the corner coming out and saying, yeah,
- 7:38Speaker 1: yeah they found pot, but they don't the cops don't
- 7:40Speaker 1: care about that kind of thing. And I was like, oh,
- 7:42Speaker 1: could I get that you probably, but no, that's very
- 7:47Speaker 1: cool that Bob seemingly is here with us today.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, that was him making his appearance. So he
- 7:54Speaker 4: was pretty cool. And that's something that happens to me also.
- 7:57Speaker 4: So before if I know I have a reading or
- 8:00Speaker 4: if I'm going to be doing readings, sometimes the people
- 8:03Speaker 4: who I will be reading their loved ones will come
- 8:06Speaker 4: to me beforehand and start telling me things and talking
- 8:09Speaker 4: to me about things, and yeah, do you golf?
- 8:14Speaker 1: Do I golf? I've golfed a handful of times. Did
- 8:17Speaker 1: you golf with Bob?
- 8:18Speaker 2: I've never golfed with Bob. I used to bitch to
- 8:21Speaker 2: him that I wanted to take I wanted him to
- 8:23Speaker 2: take me golfing, and he never did.
- 8:24Speaker 4: All right, well there, yeah, because he was saying to
- 8:26Speaker 4: ask you about the golf.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he never took me golfing, and I.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Always wanted to do. And he loved golfing.
- 8:33Speaker 3: He was very good, did all the champions, like all
- 8:35Speaker 3: the local tournaments and stuff like forever.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Supposedly he was a pretty good golfer too. Yeah, he
- 8:39Speaker 1: used to call himself like a legend, you know.
- 8:44Speaker 4: You know.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Now that's awesome. So more readings later, all right, So
- 8:48Speaker 1: have a moment inhale. Yeah, yes, I'm feeling Oh, I'm
- 8:53Speaker 1: feeling great. All right. Questions.
- 8:55Speaker 2: We're recording this episode at two o'clock in the afternoon,
- 8:58Speaker 2: and you know you're feeding me marijuana and Sonny D
- 9:01Speaker 2: vodka seltzer, so you know we have cookies over there too.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's just a perfect afternoon.
- 9:06Speaker 2: We have to wait till the end of the episode
- 9:07Speaker 2: to eat jeez, wow, it's wrap it round, all right?
- 9:12Speaker 1: Remember this from last time you hated it?
- 9:16Speaker 4: Hated it?
- 9:17Speaker 1: I think if I remember correctly, though, you did pretty good?
- 9:20Speaker 4: Did you know? Okay? I did? Okay?
- 9:21Speaker 1: Yeah, did you know?
- 9:23Speaker 4: All right, let's try.
- 9:24Speaker 1: And then Joel was like Jesus, Mikey, these questions are
- 9:27Speaker 1: so fucking easy. Yeah, well they have gotten better. I'll admit,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'll admit they haven't gotten better, like my impression of you. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 1: it's great.
- 9:35Speaker 6: The game begins into three two.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Man. This first question is hard.
- 9:44Speaker 2: If you tipped twenty percent on a fifteen dollars bill,
- 9:46Speaker 2: how much would the tip be?
- 9:48Speaker 4: Three dollars?
- 9:49Speaker 1: Got it?
- 9:49Speaker 3: How do you do that? Who was the first woman
- 9:51Speaker 3: to win the Nobel Prize?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Marie?
- 9:55Speaker 4: Yes? Okay, Murray what uh Marie? My god, they can't
- 10:00Speaker 4: think of her last name. No, let's go to the
- 10:04Speaker 4: next one. Curry.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Yeah. What does I p A stand for.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Something?
- 10:11Speaker 1: Pilsner or something? How many how many bones do sharks have?
- 10:16Speaker 4: None?
- 10:16Speaker 2: Zero is correct? What does the Ravens say? And Edgar
- 10:20Speaker 2: Allen pose? The raven I have no idea? In which
- 10:23Speaker 2: sport could you win a Heisman?
- 10:24Speaker 1: Trophy. Oh football, got it? Pollege? To be specific, where
- 10:28Speaker 1: does the.
- 10:28Speaker 2: War wardrobe lead in the line The Witch and the
- 10:31Speaker 2: Wardrobe Narnia, which Marvels superhero is known as the Sorcerer Supreme.
- 10:37Speaker 4: The Sorcerer Supreme, that's the guy who flies. I can't
- 10:41Speaker 4: think of his name. I don't know, doctor Strange. Yeah,
- 10:45Speaker 4: and we had two and he does this. Yeah, two
- 10:49Speaker 4: questions we didn't get you I p a India pale ale. Yeah,
- 10:52Speaker 4: I would have never done that. Yeah, we'll go back
- 10:54Speaker 4: and I don't I don't drink that, and we go
- 10:56Speaker 4: back and recap. But there was two we didn't get.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Time before we can do him for fun?
- 11:00Speaker 1: Right, yeah? Okay?
- 11:01Speaker 2: So what element is used in thermometers and toxic humans?
- 11:05Speaker 2: What is the longest word in the English language?
- 11:07Speaker 4: Superfragive, catalistic as filodocious.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Actually that is wrong. However, there's someone in the audience that.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Does know it.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Come on up here, Rick, come on, no, no, come
- 11:16Speaker 1: up to the microphone, Come up here.
- 11:18Speaker 4: You're makeing them get off the coucho, Come on down.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Wreck all right.
- 11:23Speaker 6: The longest wordy numano ultra microscopic siliconba cat coniosis.
- 11:28Speaker 1: It's forty five letters.
- 11:30Speaker 6: Say it one more time noun ultra microscopic silicopacated coniosis.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Stoney said that which most people I didn't even know.
- 11:37Speaker 4: That's wrong.
- 11:38Speaker 6: Most people know that niemono ultra microscops copic silico is
- 11:42Speaker 6: a nuemonic cooniosis, which is a lung disease caused by
- 11:45Speaker 6: the inhalation of fine particles of silicone, which is like
- 11:47Speaker 6: the kind of you dig out of the earth, that
- 11:49Speaker 6: kind of silicone usually occurrying in minors, the kind that.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Day black lung. Gotcha right, that's it, Shay recap. What's
- 11:56Speaker 1: the what's the word?
- 11:56Speaker 6: One more time version mneumono microscopy no matter nomount of
- 12:03Speaker 6: ultra microscopy still compacated conyeswers and amount of It's just
- 12:05Speaker 6: like you, mama, sure to find park on the silicon
- 12:07Speaker 6: usual ringer miners.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Well done, Well done? Who the longest word in the
- 12:13Speaker 1: English language? Bobs in the room say hi to move
- 12:15Speaker 1: for I? Well, definitely well done. You got most of
- 12:18Speaker 1: those tip on a twenty percent right on a fifteen
- 12:22Speaker 1: dollars bill that is three dollars. Oh yes, Lucy's here,
- 12:25Speaker 1: Lucy'd be quiet. We're all look at it like no, No,
- 12:31Speaker 1: we don't do that. No, we don't do that. It
- 12:34Speaker 1: was normally pretty quiet. So there's people here.
- 12:37Speaker 3: You know, if you tipped twenty percent on a fifteen
- 12:39Speaker 3: dollars bill, you would get a three dollars right, that's
- 12:41Speaker 3: what That's what the tip would be. Now here's a question.
- 12:44Speaker 3: There are some people in this life. I seem the
- 12:46Speaker 3: tip twenty percent no matter what I do, if the
- 12:49Speaker 3: service horrible, if the service is good. What is your
- 12:53Speaker 3: take on that. I was thinking about that the other
- 12:55Speaker 3: day because I remember when it was fifteen percent. Yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 3: but if you have horrible service, you can just tip
- 13:00Speaker 3: twenty percent just because it's like signed, it kind of
- 13:02Speaker 3: the standard.
- 13:03Speaker 4: I don't know what kind of day she's having, he's outing.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I know. I try to take that into consideration their livelihood.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I feel the same way. I normally tip twenty percent regardless. However,
- 13:12Speaker 2: I will say, uh, there's a lot of places now.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Not to sound like a dick bag here, but man,
- 13:17Speaker 2: put the tip every But here's the thing though, nowadays
- 13:21Speaker 2: everybody wants a freaking tip. Starbucks, Jesus Christ, I'm paying
- 13:24Speaker 2: five dollars for your freaking coffee.
- 13:25Speaker 4: I'm not gonna tip you, like, come on getting a
- 13:28Speaker 4: coffee that's like the size of a finger? Like who
- 13:31Speaker 4: who pays five dollars for Starbucks?
- 13:33Speaker 1: Too many people? If you're it's everybody. I'm gonna take
- 13:36Speaker 1: this phone call real quick. It's my dad. Hey, Dad, Hey,
- 13:40Speaker 1: what's going on? Hey? I'm recording the podcast right now
- 13:42Speaker 1: and I think you're kind of on it. Okay, goodbye?
- 13:45Speaker 1: You do you want to say hi?
- 13:48Speaker 4: I just I just think goodbye?
- 13:51Speaker 1: Is it important? Do you want to talk to me
- 13:52Speaker 1: really quick? Or can I call you back real quick?
- 13:54Speaker 1: Trying to log on the Netflix. It is not working.
- 13:56Speaker 1: That's why I went that's a very funny, impromptu dad
- 14:04Speaker 1: thing to call his son. Avow, that's very funny. All right, Yeah,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I know, I know. It happened to my TV last
- 14:09Speaker 1: night too. I will I'll call you back.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Wait, aren't you going to tell them the password on
- 14:12Speaker 4: the air?
- 14:12Speaker 1: It's not the password he needs. They're catching on that
- 14:15Speaker 1: I'm sharing my dad. Happened to me.
- 14:17Speaker 2: I was at my parents' house last night after the
- 14:20Speaker 2: wedding last night, and my mom goes, while you're here,
- 14:23Speaker 2: can you log into the HBO Max again? And I
- 14:26Speaker 2: go to log in and there was like an air
- 14:28Speaker 2: message on the screen that essentially said, like, dude, what
- 14:31Speaker 2: the hell we caught you? Like we know, Yeah, so
- 14:33Speaker 2: I put my password in again and it magically started working.
- 14:36Speaker 2: But I think she's going to get kicked off again eventually.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So they're really you know, funny that it happened to
- 14:40Speaker 1: you last night and me last night. I go and
- 14:42Speaker 1: for years and years and.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Years, all the streaming companies have said that they were
- 14:46Speaker 2: going to crack down on password sharing, and it seems
- 14:48Speaker 2: like all of a sudden now all of them really
- 14:51Speaker 2: are for the first time.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they're really sticking it to us. What does IPA
- 14:57Speaker 3: stand for? And we'll go back to that India pale ale.
- 15:00Speaker 3: How many bones do sharks have? They have zero? What
- 15:03Speaker 3: does the ravens say? And Edgar Allen Poe's the raven
- 15:05Speaker 3: never more? Hey, which sport can you win a Heisman Trophy?
- 15:09Speaker 1: That was football?
- 15:10Speaker 3: Yeah, Narnia, you didn't get doctor Strange, but we got
- 15:12Speaker 3: that one mercury and soon as up by the episoda.
- 15:15Speaker 3: I know this is the longest word in the English language.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Black alongsday, Yes, yes, yes, yes, wow. So how are
- 15:22Speaker 1: we feeling in the room right now? Laurie as we're
- 15:24Speaker 1: about a quarter of the way through the show. Now,
- 15:26Speaker 1: I don't know, you haven't smoked as much as you
- 15:28Speaker 1: did the last time I was here. So we're feeling
- 15:30Speaker 1: pretty you know that's because we showed up baked today.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Showed up baked.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Can we get like the spookiness you know going? It's
- 15:38Speaker 1: supposed to be the Halloween episode, right, So.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Do you want to know about Halloween?
- 15:42Speaker 1: What do you mean do I want to know about it?
- 15:44Speaker 4: Well, Halloween, it comes. I mean, Halloween just doesn't like
- 15:47Speaker 4: somebody went Valentine's Day. Okay, let's make a holiday for
- 15:50Speaker 4: homemark and sell cards. I mean, Halloween has been a
- 15:53Speaker 4: tradition that's been around for you know, centuries, started with
- 15:56Speaker 4: the Celtics and the Druids.
- 15:59Speaker 1: They it's the now.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Last week, your last episode, you had on a person
- 16:05Speaker 4: who practices witchcraft. Correct, okay, but she wasn't a practicing
- 16:09Speaker 4: witch she didn't. Her religion wasn't Wickan, but she okay.
- 16:14Speaker 4: So the people who are Wickeds and Druids are the
- 16:17Speaker 4: ones who started Halloween. And what they would do is
- 16:20Speaker 4: they have so many holidays during the year, but Halloween
- 16:25Speaker 4: would be the one of the last holidays of their year.
- 16:28Speaker 4: It is the third harvest of the year and they
- 16:31Speaker 4: call it salad. So what they would do is in
- 16:34Speaker 4: order to protect themselves because they believed that's when the
- 16:38Speaker 4: veil between the two worlds was at its thinnest. They
- 16:43Speaker 4: would set out lanterns carved out of gourds and put
- 16:49Speaker 4: candles in them to ward off the spirits.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Huh.
- 16:51Speaker 4: And they would put faces on them so the spirits
- 16:53Speaker 4: would think that the gourds were humans and not actually humans. Yes,
- 16:59Speaker 4: And they would leave an open place setting at their
- 17:02Speaker 4: tables when they would feast on that night and for
- 17:06Speaker 4: their just used to loved ones to come in and
- 17:09Speaker 4: visit them. They would leave them treats so that the
- 17:13Speaker 4: spirits would have them, you know, like bless them, so
- 17:18Speaker 4: they would make it through a harsh winter.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Interesting. Yeah, what are you the Halloween historian?
- 17:24Speaker 4: Yes i am.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I'm impressed, Thank you, thank you. I love Halloween. I
- 17:29Speaker 1: love everything about it. Nice.
- 17:30Speaker 4: I do that in my own home. I take out
- 17:32Speaker 4: my china.
- 17:33Speaker 1: But here's the real question, though, what kind of candy
- 17:35Speaker 1: you pass after tri or treat? Full sized candy bars?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Thank you very much? There you go, Yes, yes, get
- 17:40Speaker 1: this woman a trophy, thank you.
- 17:41Speaker 4: And my house is decorated. Yeah, like the kids all
- 17:44Speaker 4: from I have three fog machines going.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Oh, if you see two grown men looking characters show
- 17:51Speaker 3: up at your house, yes, definitely not us, all right, yes.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Two grown men not in outfits, of course. Yeah. What size?
- 17:58Speaker 1: I mean, so full sized candy bar? But look what what? What?
- 18:01Speaker 1: What kind of candy?
- 18:02Speaker 4: What kind of candy?
- 18:03Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. I'm really in the movie for.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Kit Katsu, the two different kind of Harshey bars with
- 18:08Speaker 4: them without nuts.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Oh what, I really want a butter finger right now?
- 18:14Speaker 4: I don't have any of those.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Sorry but sorry s all right, you like a good
- 18:18Speaker 1: butter finger? That's a very, it's a it's.
- 18:20Speaker 5: A polar.
- 18:22Speaker 1: That's a personal question, right, what butterfly like a good
- 18:26Speaker 1: butter finger?
- 18:29Speaker 4: That's what she said.
- 18:30Speaker 2: No, butterfinger, it's a very. It's a it's a very
- 18:32Speaker 2: polarizing candy though. You're either love it or you hate it.
- 18:34Speaker 1: What's in there? What is that? Ship?
- 18:36Speaker 7: This?
- 18:37Speaker 1: No butter finger, it's like chocolate on the outside. But
- 18:40Speaker 1: what's in the inside butter.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Coffee kind of thing?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Coffee?
- 18:46Speaker 4: Dude, I don't know something. Yeah, now I don't know.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Look younger, younger, younger, I'm saying, younger than you. They're
- 18:53Speaker 4: they're not doing butter fingers.
- 18:54Speaker 1: I know they're not. That's like an old person candy.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yes it is.
- 18:57Speaker 1: It was the old thing. No one better lay a
- 18:59Speaker 1: finger on my butter butterfinger?
- 19:01Speaker 4: Yes?
- 19:02Speaker 1: What else is an old person candy? Of payday? I
- 19:05Speaker 1: love a good payday. That's a dollar bar. I've never
- 19:07Speaker 1: had that. I've never had that. What's in that? One
- 19:10Speaker 1: hundred thousand, one hundred grand?
- 19:11Speaker 4: Yeah, one hundred grand.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I like that. You said the whole the whole dollar.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I don't know. I should tribute up here. Question number one?
- 19:24Speaker 3: All right, now, if you know this right away, don't
- 19:26Speaker 3: make fun of me. I just learned what this man,
- 19:28Speaker 3: all right. Acronym slash pop culture. The acronym Bay came
- 19:34Speaker 3: into popularity in the mid twenty tens.
- 19:36Speaker 1: What does it stand for? Oh? B a? Uh ah, hell,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I know this. I have to just have to think
- 19:43Speaker 1: about it. Uh before no, Bay? What does bay stand bae?
- 19:50Speaker 1: It's like babe hanging out with Bay?
- 19:53Speaker 7: You know?
- 19:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but at the aron.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Oh hell.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Before all.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Before all others before no, Well, it's b A Yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I know no shit, thank you not bao.
- 20:14Speaker 8: Yes, I thought it was like pay attention all before
- 20:18Speaker 8: is b What the hell is A? I'm not the
- 20:21Speaker 8: life plan on this one before anyone in the audience.
- 20:26Speaker 1: No, no one in the audience knows. Ex give me
- 20:29Speaker 1: the ad before anyone else. See, I was on the
- 20:35Speaker 1: right track. Yeah, and what year was that? It was
- 20:40Speaker 1: like twenty thirteen around then when it became popular. Man,
- 20:43Speaker 1: that's when I was in middle school. Yeah, I don't
- 20:45Speaker 1: want to talk about that. Let's go to the next one. Yeah,
- 20:46Speaker 1: how old were you then? Forty? Sorry, let's go to
- 20:51Speaker 1: number number two question too? Lyrics? Sorry was that mean?
- 20:58Speaker 3: Don't turn back on me, baby, Stop messing around with
- 21:01Speaker 3: your tricks. Don't turn your back on me.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Baby. You might pick up my magic sticks. Lyrics, I'm
- 21:10Speaker 1: not gonna be able to get this. It's because my
- 21:12Speaker 1: brain is fried.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Man, don't turn back on me, baby, Stop messing around
- 21:17Speaker 3: with your tricks. Don't turn your back on me, baby,
- 21:21Speaker 3: you might pick up my magic sticks.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be able to get this.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Black Magic Woman Santana, Yeah, that's kind of that's kind
- 21:30Speaker 3: of Halloween, so that I yeah, that's why I picked it.
- 21:32Speaker 1: No, it's not. It was a website and I said
- 21:36Speaker 1: spooky songs.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Or whatever, and it was one of all of what
- 21:39Speaker 2: ten minutes ago? I said, wow, did you prep Halloween questions?
- 21:43Speaker 1: And you said no.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I was trying to trick you. Oh you're so full
- 21:46Speaker 2: of ship. She was so fucking full of it. Man,
- 21:49Speaker 2: you're question three all right? This one's about brands. What
- 21:56Speaker 2: car brand features a logo with a prancing horse?
- 22:01Speaker 1: Car brand? That your final answer? It's either Porsche or
- 22:06Speaker 1: like a Mustang? Is a what car brand? Yeah?
- 22:10Speaker 3: But a brand is Porsche features a logo with a
- 22:13Speaker 3: prancing horse? You're gonna say pors.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I'm on question three. I'm gonna go to my I'm
- 22:20Speaker 1: gonna take my lifelines. Maybe we have an asked the
- 22:22Speaker 1: audience this week too.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Is that a thing? Sure?
- 22:25Speaker 1: I know it's a new role audience lifeline? What Frari
- 22:30Speaker 1: Rari audience lifeline? You got one?
- 22:33Speaker 5: Right?
- 22:33Speaker 4: Okay?
- 22:33Speaker 1: Wow, thank you Becker for the new rule of audience lifeline.
- 22:37Speaker 7: Like that.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I like that very much. Anything to help you out? Oh,
- 22:40Speaker 1: thank you? Ferrari? Yes, why did I say Porsche.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Expensive? I can't afford it. We'll never have one. Same thing?
- 22:52Speaker 1: Well, you want to rule the world or whatever. Right,
- 22:54Speaker 1: is that what you said? Conquer the world?
- 22:56Speaker 4: No?
- 22:56Speaker 1: No, no, no, no no no.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I always say I could be out conquering the world,
- 22:59Speaker 2: but that I just sit around and smoke weed all day,
- 23:01Speaker 2: which bothers me.
- 23:02Speaker 1: I feel like, if you get conquering the world, you
- 23:03Speaker 1: can get a Ferrari. So maybe I don't. I like
- 23:06Speaker 1: my jeep, all right, I like my jeep. Okay, I
- 23:09Speaker 1: like driving your jeep. By the way, Yeah, I let
- 23:11Speaker 1: him drive my jeep for the first time the other day. Yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 1: I was driving the speed limit. And last night we
- 23:15Speaker 1: were driving back and he was doing one hundred miles
- 23:17Speaker 1: per hour. So Pennsylvania State Police keep an eye out
- 23:21Speaker 1: for Yeah, that's just after the fact.
- 23:23Speaker 2: And there was no one else on me, and everybody
- 23:25Speaker 2: else was doing one hundred miles an hour. So if
- 23:27Speaker 2: you're gonna get me, you gotta get everybody else. It
- 23:29Speaker 2: wasn't that fact in the room question for.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Film which nineteen ninety romantic fantasy film stars Patrick Swayzee
- 23:39Speaker 3: and Demi Moore.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Oh, Patrick Swayzee and Demi Moore. Okay, so I know
- 23:43Speaker 2: who both of them are, and I know movies that
- 23:46Speaker 2: both of them are in, But I don't know, Like,
- 23:49Speaker 2: right off the bat, nothing comes to mind that they're
- 23:51Speaker 2: in together. So let me sound it out. Oh wait,
- 23:53Speaker 2: I have a lifeline. Okay, but but I want to
- 23:55Speaker 2: figure it out on my own first. All right, Patrick's
- 24:00Speaker 2: ways was in Dirty Dancing?
- 24:01Speaker 1: Was he not? Was Demi Moore? And then I don't know, dude,
- 24:06Speaker 1: Demi Moore? Wasn't she in the Breakfast Club?
- 24:09Speaker 5: Right?
- 24:09Speaker 1: Wasn't she in one of those? No? No, no, the
- 24:12Speaker 1: sant almost Fire without the fire?
- 24:15Speaker 4: Yes?
- 24:15Speaker 2: What a scam of that fucking movie is? I watched
- 24:17Speaker 2: that the whole time. I'm like, all right, well, where's
- 24:19Speaker 2: the fire here?
- 24:19Speaker 4: I'll give you pottery?
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yeah? Like ghost, say say the word? Huh? Would you
- 24:27Speaker 1: just say ghost? Final answer? Wait?
- 24:29Speaker 2: Wait, oh wait, you were just talking about see wow,
- 24:36Speaker 2: that's crazy ghost. But I hear ghosts and I think, whoopee.
- 24:40Speaker 2: But yeah, I guess Patrick Swayzey and Demi.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Moore are in Ghost. Yeah, they're all in there.
- 24:46Speaker 5: All right.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Other people were allowed to be in the movie. It
- 24:48Speaker 2: was in Dirty Dancing, Patrick Swayzey and what's her name?
- 24:51Speaker 7: What?
- 24:51Speaker 1: Jennifer Cool? Jeffer Gray for cool? And I owe it
- 25:01Speaker 1: all to you. Yeah, you.
- 25:08Speaker 5: Wing, You're about to learn absolutely nothing. Blazed and Confused podcast.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Kind of bullshit you got for me? I think this
- 25:16Speaker 2: is a pretty hard sports question. Question number one, there's
- 25:22Speaker 2: only one NFL team where on their helmet the logo
- 25:27Speaker 2: is only on one side and not both sides.
- 25:32Speaker 1: What NFL team is that? So we agree that we
- 25:34Speaker 1: each get a Lorie as a lifeline and an audience
- 25:37Speaker 1: lifeline that No, it's cool for you and not for me.
- 25:40Speaker 1: All right, whatever, I'm gonna go with one of my
- 25:43Speaker 1: audience members for the lifeline for this one.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with the Steelers thank you line. Yeah,
- 25:52Speaker 2: like nobody got that right in my Trivin night. Really yeah,
- 25:55Speaker 2: nobody got that right? Rickqua did you know that?
- 25:58Speaker 5: No?
- 25:58Speaker 1: Who knows that? I don't know? Patrick did you didn't?
- 26:03Speaker 1: Now we all know? All right? So one lifeline down. Wait?
- 26:07Speaker 2: So wow, so after two lifelines you're on your own
- 26:11Speaker 2: for half the questions basically the rules time.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, great, wowright, perfect works that for me.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Question too?
- 26:20Speaker 1: Should I do another recipe? Question? Sure?
- 26:23Speaker 2: I think this is too easy, though, I'll give it
- 26:26Speaker 2: to you anyway. Ground beef, breadcrumbs, onions, ketchup eggs, worster, shear,
- 26:36Speaker 2: sauce or shy?
- 26:38Speaker 1: Is it just meat loaf?
- 26:39Speaker 5: Is it?
- 26:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with meat loaf, are you? Yeah?
- 26:43Speaker 2: I love a good loaf. That one was too easy.
- 26:46Speaker 2: We talked about meat loaf last week. Yeah, because I
- 26:49Speaker 2: made fun of him for almost having the He.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Gives me ship because if we go out to eat
- 26:54Speaker 3: and I get a burger, I get it without the bun.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but he gets no, no, no, worse than getting
- 26:58Speaker 1: it without a bun. He gets it with a lettuce bun.
- 27:01Speaker 1: The fuck is that? What is that? Come on, it's
- 27:04Speaker 1: not a burger? Said?
- 27:05Speaker 4: I said?
- 27:06Speaker 1: All right? I said, all what makes it? What makes
- 27:09Speaker 1: it a right?
- 27:10Speaker 4: Like?
- 27:10Speaker 1: Furthermore, I feel bad for this guy. I feel bad
- 27:12Speaker 1: for him. Yeah, which is fine. Don't feel bad for me.
- 27:15Speaker 4: I have it now.
- 27:16Speaker 1: The last time we went out for burgers, we went.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Out to this very It's a very cool concept where
- 27:20Speaker 2: they give you a piece of paper with a bunch
- 27:22Speaker 2: of choices and you just circle what you want. I
- 27:24Speaker 2: feel bad for this dude that he had to take
- 27:26Speaker 2: his pencil and put a circle around the thing that
- 27:29Speaker 2: said lettuce bun.
- 27:30Speaker 1: What the fuck is that? It's either a piece of
- 27:32Speaker 1: lettuce or it's a bun. It's not both. The hell's
- 27:34Speaker 1: a lettuce bun? It was on the menu for me
- 27:37Speaker 1: to circle. Obviously they don't give a shit. It's sad,
- 27:40Speaker 1: isn't it.
- 27:40Speaker 4: You?
- 27:40Speaker 1: I get it. People don't want to do the car.
- 27:42Speaker 3: By the way, the place we're talking about is called
- 27:43Speaker 3: Drip in Hellertown. You should definitely checked them out. Very
- 27:46Speaker 3: good sponsors.
- 27:48Speaker 1: We like you. Question three. I think we're going to
- 27:52Speaker 1: do what year is it? Yeah? Yeah, you did the
- 27:57Speaker 1: same thing last week. That joke is getting it right?
- 28:00Speaker 1: What year is it? So I give you the things
- 28:01Speaker 1: and you tell me what year it is?
- 28:03Speaker 2: Old Town Road, Awful Song, hits number one, Avengers Endgame
- 28:08Speaker 2: breaks records and Game of Thrones ends?
- 28:14Speaker 1: What year is it?
- 28:19Speaker 2: Old Town Road hits number one, Avengers Endgame breaks records
- 28:25Speaker 2: and Game of Thrones ends.
- 28:31Speaker 3: This is going to be a guess, like a complete guess.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Do you know you look like you're about to You
- 28:37Speaker 3: don't have to chime in.
- 28:38Speaker 4: I have one.
- 28:39Speaker 1: It's either what twenty one or twenty two? That's what
- 28:42Speaker 1: I'm thinking. Yeah, anybody the audience, you already use your audience.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I'm just asking if anybody knows that. But you people included,
- 28:49Speaker 1: stop jumping down my throat, all right, this is ridiculous.
- 28:53Speaker 1: They're talking amongst themselves. They're not helping out. All right, fine,
- 28:55Speaker 1: so what's your answer? If I heard that, it's because
- 28:57Speaker 1: you turn the music down, all right, So what's your answer?
- 29:04Speaker 1: Twenty nineteen.
- 29:12Speaker 4: Indeed, in twenty nineteen.
- 29:14Speaker 3: I thought it was right before the pandemic, but well,
- 29:17Speaker 3: yeah it was then, yeah, and then, But I was
- 29:19Speaker 3: thinking when I tried to watch that show, it was like,
- 29:21Speaker 3: twenty twenty two.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I can't do that show. I watched like eight episodes
- 29:25Speaker 1: in the beginning, and then I was like, I don't
- 29:26Speaker 1: know who's what. I don't know what the fuck these
- 29:29Speaker 1: names are. This is confusing.
- 29:30Speaker 7: I do not.
- 29:31Speaker 1: That's how I feel when I watch the Sopranos. It's
- 29:34Speaker 1: the same thing.
- 29:34Speaker 3: And then people are telling me to watch it again
- 29:36Speaker 3: with subtitles so I understand it better.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I'm you're not going to be reading the whole time.
- 29:40Speaker 1: That's too much work. Who has time to do that.
- 29:42Speaker 2: It's one thing to sit and watch a TV show.
- 29:44Speaker 2: It's another thing to sit and watch a TV show,
- 29:47Speaker 2: sit there and read the fucking screen the whole time.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Who wants to do that. If I wanted to read,
- 29:52Speaker 2: I'd read a book. And there's a reason why I
- 29:53Speaker 2: don't do that. As you can tell by the way
- 29:56Speaker 2: I talk.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I'm just sad. You know, it's funny I tell people.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I say, I wish that I had a better vocabulary,
- 30:02Speaker 2: Like I wish that I spoke as a little more
- 30:04Speaker 2: of an intelligent person.
- 30:06Speaker 1: And you know what, everybody says, you gotta fucking read more.
- 30:09Speaker 2: If you read more, your vocabulary apparently naturally gets better.
- 30:12Speaker 2: It's a shame. Yeah, this should make a pill for
- 30:14Speaker 2: that too. I'm telling you. We fix autism today. We
- 30:17Speaker 2: fix the reading problem more.
- 30:19Speaker 1: That's what we do. Good God, Yeah, Question four twenty
- 30:24Speaker 1: what this is our last episode?
- 30:28Speaker 2: Just remember Friends, Circumcision and Thailand all so bad Combo
- 30:34Speaker 2: bad combo okay, commercials and jingles? What company used the
- 30:39Speaker 2: slogan we bring good things to life between nineteen seventy
- 30:44Speaker 2: nine and two thousand and three? What company used the
- 30:51Speaker 2: slogan we bring good things to life between nineteen seventy
- 30:56Speaker 2: nine and two thousand and three.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Man, we bring things to life? Right, Yeah, we bring
- 31:10Speaker 1: good things to life, bring good things to life, We
- 31:13Speaker 1: bring good things to life. Do I have any lifelines left? No? No? Wait,
- 31:17Speaker 1: oh wait, I don't know.
- 31:19Speaker 4: I'm thinking no, not really General Electric.
- 31:22Speaker 1: No see, I wasn't gonna say that.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I was gonna say, like a battery like magnevox or
- 31:27Speaker 3: not magnevox, Like, well, what's not energizer, but what's the
- 31:30Speaker 3: other one.
- 31:30Speaker 2: That's what company used the slogan we bring Good Things
- 31:34Speaker 2: to Life between nineteen seventy nine and two thousand and
- 31:37Speaker 2: three commercials and jingles for the category General Electric.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Do you think I don't know. That's what I thought.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I'll just try General Electric. Fucking yeah, man, I'm glad
- 31:50Speaker 1: we don't keep scoring.
- 31:52Speaker 5: That sucks trivia. Man, it's like the universe asking us questions,
- 31:58Speaker 5: you know.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yeah. A Blaze and Confused podcast.
- 32:04Speaker 2: A very special Halloween edition of the Blaze and Confused
- 32:08Speaker 2: podcast here with psychic medium Laurie Moore, who now is
- 32:12Speaker 2: going to take some questions from our lovely studio audience.
- 32:15Speaker 4: Here.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Michelle, you got a question for Laurie, Well, I have
- 32:18Speaker 1: a question.
- 32:18Speaker 7: It's not like anything like anyone specific, but just about
- 32:21Speaker 7: like dreams in general, like when loved ones do you know,
- 32:24Speaker 7: like when love loved ones come to you in dreams?
- 32:28Speaker 4: Is that because I know living people?
- 32:30Speaker 7: You know you dream about living people too, But once
- 32:33Speaker 7: I have passed, is it a way of them communicating
- 32:36Speaker 7: or is it it.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Is a way of them communicating.
- 32:39Speaker 4: If you notice when they're in your dream they do
- 32:42Speaker 4: not move their mouths when they speak to you, it's
- 32:46Speaker 4: almost like ye feel them talking to you and you
- 32:48Speaker 4: don't know that. And once you realize that they are deceased,
- 32:54Speaker 4: they disappear. So when you're dreaming about someone, they call
- 32:57Speaker 4: that a visitation. And it's easier for people well to
- 33:00Speaker 4: have a visitation during a dream state than it is
- 33:03Speaker 4: in you know, when you were awake, because you don't
- 33:08Speaker 4: have your guard. You know, your guard is down, and
- 33:11Speaker 4: it's really that conscious consciousness coming through and they're able
- 33:16Speaker 4: to give you messages or tell you things. Now, sometimes
- 33:22Speaker 4: if a person is behaving uncharacteristic to what they were
- 33:26Speaker 4: like when they were living, you know, if they were
- 33:29Speaker 4: mean to you, you know, like if they're in the
- 33:32Speaker 4: dream and they're being mean or nasty or whatever, they
- 33:35Speaker 4: could be giving you a sign of something that's going
- 33:39Speaker 4: on in your life that you could be should be
- 33:40Speaker 4: aware of.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Is there is there someone you dream about often.
- 33:43Speaker 4: Yes, it was a boyfriend of mine with the number
- 33:46Speaker 4: five associated with it. How long has he gone?
- 33:52Speaker 1: Like seventeen years?
- 33:54Speaker 4: Okay, but he suys five it did you date them
- 33:56Speaker 4: for five years? Almost?
- 33:57Speaker 1: Five yearth okay, yeah, almost five years?
- 34:00Speaker 7: Right?
- 34:01Speaker 4: He said like he was hearing gone, like you didn't
- 34:03Speaker 4: know he was going to pass? It was like, yeah,
- 34:06Speaker 4: you did know he was going to pass? Oh no, no, no, well.
- 34:10Speaker 1: It was inevitable, yes, all of us, right, but he
- 34:16Speaker 1: was in a hospital.
- 34:18Speaker 4: Okay.
- 34:18Speaker 1: When he was in the hospital, he was I think.
- 34:22Speaker 7: At that point gone, and we kind of like, Okay,
- 34:25Speaker 7: it's it needs to happen, like because it took him off.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Life support essentially.
- 34:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I was like, all right, it needs to happen,
- 34:32Speaker 7: like a miracle needs to happen or it needs to
- 34:35Speaker 7: be quick. And I kind of and you know, I
- 34:37Speaker 7: felt like it's it's gonna happen. There's no miracle happening
- 34:42Speaker 7: with that.
- 34:43Speaker 4: So what got him into the hospital was that I'm
- 34:48Speaker 4: want to say tragic, but it wasn't. It was an
- 34:51Speaker 4: illness that brought him to that point addiction okayually yeah,
- 34:56Speaker 4: mm hmm, yeah, But I kind of get like he's
- 34:59Speaker 4: telling me he hit like a brick wall.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Sorry, supposed to be a comedy.
- 35:09Speaker 4: Emotions. Look, it is perfectly normal to become emotional with
- 35:14Speaker 4: something like this. Yeah, so he tells me the music
- 35:17Speaker 4: is how you think of him too, Yes, Like when
- 35:18Speaker 4: you hear the song, it's like you're like, you know
- 35:20Speaker 4: that's him for sure? Thank you, Thank you.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Again. I'm gonna say this is like the Long Island Medium,
- 35:28Speaker 1: except you don't have the hair, or the nails or
- 35:33Speaker 1: the accent.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Come on up, honey, your necks.
- 35:37Speaker 1: It was a girl I went to high school with that.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Her mom notoriously looked a lot like the Long Island Medium,
- 35:42Speaker 2: and apparently like everybody told her this to the point
- 35:45Speaker 2: where she was very tired with it.
- 35:46Speaker 1: And then the one time I said to her, I'm.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Like, wow, your mom looks like Teresa Carpetudo or whatever
- 35:53Speaker 2: her name is, and she got all.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Fucking mad at me.
- 35:57Speaker 4: I hear that all the time.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Yeah, anyway, who's next for a reading? Anyone? I have
- 36:04Speaker 1: to go to the bathroom, so here to go to
- 36:06Speaker 1: the we're so professional, you're gonna go take a leak
- 36:11Speaker 1: real quick. I'll be right back.
- 36:12Speaker 6: Oh wow, wow, just like the old days. Yeah, probably
- 36:15Speaker 6: Jeff Baskin here with another nutri system up here. So
- 36:20Speaker 6: I'm really into near death experiences. It's like and so,
- 36:23Speaker 6: you know, what do you do on YouTube and this
- 36:24Speaker 6: and that?
- 36:24Speaker 1: You know you?
- 36:26Speaker 6: But the thing is, whenever you ask people, it's always
- 36:29Speaker 6: the same thing. You know, they go into a bright
- 36:32Speaker 6: light and then the ends like a field with clouds
- 36:35Speaker 6: or whatever, they see loved ones and if they don't,
- 36:38Speaker 6: well it's a near death experience.
- 36:39Speaker 1: So they come back.
- 36:40Speaker 6: But oftentimes they talk to a presence you know whatever
- 36:43Speaker 6: you want to call that God, Jesus or something, and
- 36:45Speaker 6: you know your work is not done and you shoost back.
- 36:49Speaker 6: It seems to me like everyone is the same. Every
- 36:52Speaker 6: near death experience is the same. How do you feel
- 36:54Speaker 6: about that?
- 36:55Speaker 4: I find that the person that they speak with doesn't
- 36:59Speaker 4: necess necessarily have to be a divine power, right, Okay?
- 37:03Speaker 4: I think that's based on your belief system.
- 37:06Speaker 6: Yeah, I've heard that it is in most cases, but
- 37:08Speaker 6: I don't really believe that it always is correct.
- 37:11Speaker 4: So how do you not know that divine power is
- 37:13Speaker 4: into your deceased loved one saying right, it's not your time,
- 37:19Speaker 4: you have to go back, right, rather than a religious figure. Okay,
- 37:24Speaker 4: I have never spoken when I say, as a medium
- 37:27Speaker 4: to someone who's on the other side that said, yeah,
- 37:30Speaker 4: I can't wait to come back to Earth, Like nobody
- 37:32Speaker 4: ever says that.
- 37:33Speaker 1: You know, like when they're over there, they don't want
- 37:35Speaker 1: to come back. Yeah.
- 37:36Speaker 6: It's like people in radio when they leave radio there
- 37:38Speaker 6: except you, Mike, except for me.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Yeah, when I come back.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yeah, I have found don't I don't know
- 37:48Speaker 4: about the whole meadow thing where that's you know, beautiful
- 37:51Speaker 4: and you're walking in the grass whatever. I do know this.
- 37:54Speaker 4: There are people I have helped crossover. So whether they
- 37:58Speaker 4: were in a hospital or at their home and it
- 38:00Speaker 4: was time for them to pass away, I would go
- 38:03Speaker 4: in and kind of coach them through it, and I,
- 38:10Speaker 4: if you want to say, visualized or could help their
- 38:12Speaker 4: soul get to a certain point and then I can't
- 38:15Speaker 4: go further right, Okay, but that point is when they
- 38:20Speaker 4: get to that bright light. So I could tell you
- 38:22Speaker 4: what it's what it's like up to that point. Now,
- 38:25Speaker 4: I could look through the bright light and tell you
- 38:27Speaker 4: what's on the other side, but I can't go through
- 38:30Speaker 4: the bright light.
- 38:30Speaker 1: That's up to them because it's their time. To cross.
- 38:33Speaker 4: You know, unless I guess I wanted to die too,
- 38:35Speaker 4: then I would go with them. But I could tell
- 38:38Speaker 4: you that you could see those loved ones, and it
- 38:42Speaker 4: doesn't necessarily have to be your family, because you know,
- 38:44Speaker 4: sometimes people have really rotten families. It is those people
- 38:47Speaker 4: who meant the most to you in your life, and
- 38:50Speaker 4: whether it's animals or humans, those are what's waiting for you.
- 38:56Speaker 6: So another thing wing creatures, right, this Spirits take on
- 39:00Speaker 6: wing creatures.
- 39:01Speaker 4: Have you ever heard that they come to us as
- 39:03Speaker 4: the sign in a winged Yeah? Yeah, they saw a butterfly,
- 39:06Speaker 4: a cardinal cardinal, Yeah, for sure, anything that like blue jay.
- 39:14Speaker 1: The human like a cardinal was just a human when
- 39:17Speaker 1: you look at it in the eyes.
- 39:18Speaker 4: You know. Well, And a cardinal also means the month
- 39:21Speaker 4: of December and the number twelve. Oh so it could
- 39:25Speaker 4: mean yes, But cardinals are very, very I would say
- 39:29Speaker 4: they're the most significant them in butterflies for people saying
- 39:33Speaker 4: that there's someone coming through.
- 39:34Speaker 6: I'm having an experience currently with a hummingbird. I'm having
- 39:37Speaker 6: a relationship with a humming bird. I swear, you know,
- 39:40Speaker 6: he knows what I'm thinking. And I also I also
- 39:43Speaker 6: think humming birds could take over the world if they
- 39:45Speaker 6: really wanted to, you know, they could just point everybody's
- 39:48Speaker 6: eyes just it wouldn't take long. It wouldn't take So
- 39:53Speaker 6: I had a thing with my parents just after my
- 39:56Speaker 6: mom died. And we're from the eastern sure of Maryland.
- 39:58Speaker 6: So we have a place are on the river, and
- 40:01Speaker 6: you see that all kinds of Canadian geese they're everywhere, yea.
- 40:04Speaker 6: And so usually they'll land on the water, you know,
- 40:07Speaker 6: and then come to shore to pooper to eat or
- 40:09Speaker 6: whatever they do. But never were we just under your
- 40:11Speaker 6: front yard, you know, they never And this was two
- 40:15Speaker 6: days after my mom passed, and I'm sitting there and
- 40:17Speaker 6: two Cananian geese flop right down in front of me.
- 40:19Speaker 1: So was that her and your father? Yeah? And they
- 40:22Speaker 1: stayed there for twenty minutes, like rock rock whatever? What
- 40:25Speaker 1: do they do? I don't even know.
- 40:26Speaker 6: That was a chicken clacking? Yeah, yeah, whatever, they ducksto
- 40:31Speaker 6: like a chicken. But something like the geese was a.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Goggle, right?
- 40:34Speaker 4: Was that one of the questions from lost or something?
- 40:37Speaker 1: Anyway?
- 40:37Speaker 6: Yeah, it was an experience anyway, and I was convinced,
- 40:40Speaker 6: you know, it really seemed like it never before, never since,
- 40:44Speaker 6: never saw you know, geese land on my front yard.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Yeah, thousands of them in the river, all over the
- 40:48Speaker 1: place there everywhere. Yeah, oh, be careful, you gotta drive drive.
- 40:53Speaker 1: She's gonna be sleeping over. I might spend the night.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Anybody else want to ask anything? So I'm going my
- 41:00Speaker 1: time off. This is interesting. Uh. I did just scrub
- 41:03Speaker 1: my toilet because I didn't know that, you know, everybody
- 41:05Speaker 1: was going to be here today. It was a little embarrassing.
- 41:08Speaker 2: So when I went in there, I thought, oh, this
- 41:10Speaker 2: is so one of our studio audience members is going
- 41:14Speaker 2: in there now. It'll be very nice. Yeah, we'll get
- 41:18Speaker 2: a report when he gets back. Erica is our next guest. Hello,
- 41:20Speaker 2: here's Erica.
- 41:21Speaker 4: Didn't have a specific question, just didn't know if anything
- 41:25Speaker 4: was coming through, if anything popped up. If you're married, okay,
- 41:31Speaker 4: and how long have you been married? That's a true question,
- 41:36Speaker 4: all right, don't us do? Eight years?
- 41:38Speaker 1: So where are we with children? It's a big question mark.
- 41:43Speaker 4: So you're not pregnant?
- 41:44Speaker 6: Now?
- 41:44Speaker 4: No? Are you sure?
- 41:46Speaker 7: Yes?
- 41:48Speaker 1: What kind of show is?
- 41:49Speaker 5: This may not have all the answers, but they have
- 41:55Speaker 5: all the snacks. He's still blazed and confused.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Podcast am I pregnant or anything or what do you
- 42:01Speaker 2: want to tell me anything?
- 42:02Speaker 4: You're not pregnant?
- 42:04Speaker 2: Good, that's always good. I don't think I do well
- 42:06Speaker 2: as a pregnant person. I don't either.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I couldn't do it.
- 42:10Speaker 4: Are you gonna do snacks now?
- 42:12Speaker 1: Erica also brought the snacks today, Erica, thank you, thank you.

- 42:24Speaker 2: let's do that.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Let's get.
- 42:37Speaker 2: All right, So I don't buy organic anything. The organic
- 42:40Speaker 2: ones are simple simple mills, simple mills.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Is that sound right?
- 42:46Speaker 2: Almond flour crackers? Interesting? And the cheese its ones are
- 42:50Speaker 2: regular original and the cheese It's one are regular.
- 42:53Speaker 1: They are regular. I bet they're really good though. All right,

- 43:48Speaker 1: You're good.
- 43:49Speaker 2: However, though, how much was this like nine dollars six
- 43:53Speaker 2: fifty and honestly, well, thank you for sharing. Thank you
- 43:56Speaker 2: again for sharing, but Jesus, you got ripped off. I mean,
- 44:02Speaker 2: like like we'll take him home. There's I mean, when
- 44:04Speaker 2: I feel the cheese, it's I'm like, okay, there's like
- 44:06Speaker 2: some there's like some weight to this. And then you
- 44:09Speaker 2: feel the other box that costs six fifty and it
- 44:10Speaker 2: feels like there's nothing in here.
- 44:12Speaker 1: But thank you, Eric, thank you for the snacks. And
- 44:14Speaker 1: look at this.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Becker brought snacks to everybody brought snacks to that. Somebody

- 44:21Speaker 3: So they brought me back of these the other day,
- 44:23Speaker 3: which was nice. There hers kettle cooked, honey, honey, jalapeno
- 44:29Speaker 3: or pino?

- 44:43Speaker 1: m you got a little kick there. Very good.
- 44:45Speaker 2: What a boring feature for our listening audience. Hey we
- 44:48Speaker 2: got this snack. Oh it's good, it's great.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Okay, so describe what it tastes now. Now it's a
- 44:57Speaker 4: heat on the back.
- 44:58Speaker 1: End, not when you first describe what it it's like,
- 45:00Speaker 1: this tastes like shit.
- 45:02Speaker 3: No, it's it tastes like it's what holly honey, holly honey, holopano.
