Latest / We Are More: Sisters Talk Faith & Feminism / Ep. 12: Boys Will Be Bots
Transcript
- 0:00Welcome to the We Are More podcast.
- 0:13My name is Alyssa.
- 0:15And my name is Bri.
- 0:16We are two sisters passionate about all things faith and feminism.
- 0:20We believe that Jesus trusted, respected, and encouraged women to teach and preach His
- 0:25word.
- 0:26And apparently that's controversial.
- 0:28It's a bit comfy.
- 0:36Hello.
- 0:37Hello.
- 0:38It is hot.
- 0:43It is hot.
- 0:46It has been in the 90s in Michigan this week.
- 0:49This will be in your past.
- 0:50Yeah.
- 0:51Have you survived?
- 0:52Have we?
- 0:53We may not.
- 0:56Future selves.
- 0:57Are you alive?
- 0:59Also make better life choices.
- 1:00Yeah.
- 1:01Move away.
- 1:02Where?
- 1:03Where's colder than this, Brie?
- 1:05I don't know.
- 1:07You guys want to move to Florida.
- 1:08Yeah, but at least you're in Florida.
- 1:11Like you have a pool and an ocean and Disney.
- 1:15Here it's just hot and miserable.
- 1:18The Michigan people are going to come for us.
- 1:20Pure Michigan.
- 1:21Pure Michigan.
- 1:22Thanks, Tim Allen.
- 1:23Yeah.
- 1:24You really put us on the map there.
- 1:26Also all of the lakes that we live in between.
- 1:30I don't recall those.
- 1:31Where are we?
- 1:33But we are sitting in here.
- 1:34This is how committed we are to you guys.
- 1:36We're sitting in this room with no fans going.
- 1:39We don't have air conditioning in the house.
- 1:42We have those sad cooling towels that you get at Disney around our necks.
- 1:48Don't throw us.
- 1:49Don't out us.
- 1:50I'm just saying, we're very committed to our craft.
- 1:54We might as well be recording outside.
- 1:56I mean really, except for the birds would kill the point of the no fans.
- 2:00Because you got pooped on today.
- 2:01I did, a bird pooped on me today.
- 2:03And not like a gray poopon, like an actual poopon.
- 2:06What?
- 2:07I just recently watched that commercial.
- 2:09They have a commercial?
- 2:11Yeah, have you seen it?
- 2:12They're like, I poop on my barbecue.
- 2:15I poop on my chicken.
- 2:16Isn't that one of the Super Bowl commercials?
- 2:18It may have been.
- 2:19I think it's old.
- 2:20I feel like that's striking a memory.
- 2:22Anyway.
- 2:23I could sing another song related to the sound of music.
- 2:27Oh god.
- 2:28But I won't.
- 2:29Good, because that's a terrible song.
- 2:31It is terrible.
- 2:32And I'm really hot.
- 2:34Yeah.
- 2:35It's raw.
- 2:36In both ways.
- 2:37So in this mini episode, this is our third mini episode, right?
- 2:41Yes.
- 2:42So we did one on Harrison Butkern's Stupid Speech.
- 2:46Butkern.
- 2:47You made that joke every time.
- 2:50We had one come out a couple weeks ago on Bridgerton, which was a super fun one to record.
- 2:57That was super fun.
- 2:58Yeah.
- 2:59We got some really good quotes out of that one.
- 3:00We did.
- 3:01And today we're going to be talking a little bit about AI and its impact on women.
- 3:07AI!
- 3:08AI is freaking everywhere.
- 3:11It's in my workplace now.
- 3:13We're using it for monitoring patients.
- 3:16It's crazy.
- 3:17And I'm in the marketing, editing sphere, and it's just everywhere.
- 3:25You can't get away from it.
- 3:26We use it to edit the stinking podcast.
- 3:29Sometimes is it my voice or is it AI's voice?
- 3:32You'll never know.
- 3:33If it says something stupid, it's free!
- 3:40So it's me all the time.
- 3:41Yeah, it's pretty much always you.
- 3:42I haven't been able to figure that feature out.
- 3:44We use an editing software that has the option, if we talk over each other to fix it with
- 3:50AI or if we mispronounce a word or whatever, although we've confused it a lot.
- 3:56Caffele, you think it knows how to say that?
- 3:58No, it's not biblical.
- 4:00This is not a biblical editing software.
- 4:02They'll come out with that eventually.
- 4:05Maybe we will.
- 4:06Maybe.
- 4:07But we will not pronounce it.
- 4:09We'll find somebody else.
- 4:12Anyway, so we've seen that explode in, I mean, everywhere.
- 4:18You can't get away from AI, I know.
- 4:21And so we wanted to talk a little bit about that because Brie saw this crazy TikTok video
- 4:26and sent it to me the other day.
- 4:28I got swindled.
- 4:29You did?
- 4:30I just got swindled by AI.
- 4:32There was, okay, I'm addicted to TikTok.
- 4:34I will confess.
- 4:35I spend many hours a day on the tics and the tocs.
- 4:39And I saw this video come through that was Kim Kardashian and she was announcing that
- 4:44she was transitioning.
- 4:48She was going to be Mr. Kim Kardashian.
- 4:50Yeah, transgender, right?
- 4:51And I was like, holy cow.
- 4:52And they had these images of her essentially in drag, which I don't know if that's the
- 4:57appropriate term or not.
- 5:00So I sent it to you.
- 5:01But it wasn't true.
- 5:03It was all AI.
- 5:05They're able to AI people's faces, manipulate their voices, make it look like it's a
- 5:09legit video.
- 5:10It looked like an interview and it was based off of an interview that she did, but that
- 5:15is not what she said.
- 5:16Yeah, I think I looked into it and it was like an interview where she said she was transitioning
- 5:22into acting.
- 5:23What's yay for her?
- 5:24I mean, no, the world does not need that.
- 5:28But like, instead, they made it say that she was transitioning into a man.
- 5:36And the only way that I caught on to it at all is I was reading through the comments
- 5:40and people were like, I can't find this anywhere else.
- 5:43Why can't I find this interview?
- 5:46And then somebody did find the interview and posted what it actually said.
- 5:51Leave it to people on the internet.
- 5:54They are like little detectives out there.
- 5:57Yeah, it's crazy to me.
- 5:59And in this particular case, yes, you have people that can kind of seek it out and whatever,
- 6:05because she's famous enough that if you fake something, there's enough of a record that
- 6:10people can go back.
- 6:12But how can something like this where you can edit a voice, you can edit a picture,
- 6:17you can edit a video affect someone who doesn't have the resources to prove that it's not
- 6:24true?
- 6:25Right.
- 6:26Well, there's a term for it now.
- 6:27It's called deep fakes.
- 6:28We looked it up.
- 6:29It's essentially what we're describing right now.
- 6:31Using AI to manipulate videos, photos, voices to do or say whatever you want.
- 6:39And it's super dangerous, not just to women, but we'll be talking about it relating to
- 6:44women.
- 6:45Because that's what we do.
- 6:46I am a woman.
- 6:47Hear me?
- 6:48Sigh.
- 6:49Well, that's going on TikTok.
- 6:52Yeah, I've lost my train of thought now.
- 6:57It's so hot.
- 7:00Have you seen that video of Taylor Swift?
- 7:07Like she was performing Brazil or somewhere like extremely hot.
- 7:11And in between songs, she's just like gasping for breath and all of a sudden the music hits
- 7:17and she just snaps back into it.
- 7:19I don't know how she does that.
- 7:20I don't know, because I would pass away.
- 7:21I am not built for heat.
- 7:23No.
- 7:24When I go and buy makeup, I buy the lightest shade of foundation they make.
- 7:28I was not built for the sun.
- 7:30You are translucent.
- 7:31I am.
- 7:32I was born for the moon.
- 7:33You're a citizen of the moon.
- 7:34Now we've gone weird.
- 7:35That's from Parks and Recreation.
- 7:38Anyway, back on topic.
- 7:41So the issue, honestly, when we were looking up what should we talk about for this podcast,
- 7:49the reason that this topic came up was because I was thinking about AI, deal with AI every
- 7:54day at work.
- 7:56And I looked up, all I did was how does AI affect women?
- 8:01And I was thinking not about this necessarily, but about like in the workspace, because you
- 8:07see a lot of women in marketing, things like that, that it would kind of displace workers.
- 8:11But to think that this is going to disproportionately affect women in being manipulated with pictures
- 8:20and videos.
- 8:21They say it's a new form of sexual harassment or assault against women or men too.
- 8:26Absolutely.
- 8:27Yeah, it can, I mean, for sure be used against men.
- 8:28I think we just see it more likely as happening to women because pictures, videos, things
- 8:35like that have already been so disproportionately used against women.
- 8:39I was listening to a podcast before we started recording this that said that that happened
- 8:44to Taylor Swift.
- 8:45Actually, a bunch of AI generated nudes came out of her.
- 8:49Yeah, like super explicit, like nasty stuff.
- 8:53And if that's happening to Taylor Swift, think about what's happening to kids in school,
- 8:59to minors, to like all kinds of stuff.
- 9:01It's super disturbing.
- 9:02Well, and I mean, you think what can that be used against?
- 9:05All they have to get is a picture of your face.
- 9:08And how many pictures of our faces are out there?
- 9:10Well, you have to scan your face every time to open your phone.
- 9:15And we post things on social media because you think, well, it's Facebook and I've got
- 9:19it all locked down.
- 9:20Yeah, it's private.
- 9:22Right.
- 9:23So you have your profile pictures up there, your cover photos up there.
- 9:26Do you really know every friend that you have?
- 9:30I have a lot in purgatory.
- 9:32You do.
- 9:33Several old men in purgatory, actually.
- 9:35Yeah.
- 9:36Well, think of why they've friended you.
- 9:38Because I'm beautiful.
- 9:40Yeah, that's it.
- 9:43But it's just, it's one of those things that is so scary about the world today.
- 9:50How do you even protect yourself from it?
- 9:53You can't be totally not online at all.
- 9:57That's not really an option in today's world.
- 10:00Everything's online.
- 10:01You have to have a Google account to walk into Myer.
- 10:04Which is a store by us, by the way.
- 10:07I know, that always throws me off that other people don't know what Myer is.
- 10:10A grocery.
- 10:11A grocery.
- 10:13I wish that we had some big, like there was a big message here of like, here's how to
- 10:17protect yourself from the use of AI.
- 10:21I don't know that that's a thing yet.
- 10:24I don't think it is.
- 10:26I think AI is so like still experimental and people are still figuring it out.
- 10:33But people need to be really wary of it, I would say.
- 10:37And for the women out there, as sad as it is, and as much as this is always the advice,
- 10:45you have to keep your guard up.
- 10:47You have to be even more careful.
- 10:51And that shouldn't be what it is.
- 10:54No.
- 10:55You shouldn't be worried that the kid next door to you is going to sneak a creepy picture
- 10:59of you and throw it all over the internet.
- 11:03Well one of the things I wanted to talk about too, of how pictures are generally used against
- 11:09women.
- 11:10So an example of this even before AI.
- 11:14So again, this is even bigger of a problem with AI, but it's not a new problem because
- 11:20of AI.
- 11:22I'm not sure if you guys have heard this story, but there was a woman, her name was Micah Miller,
- 11:27and she...
- 11:30She unalived herself.
- 11:32Yeah.
- 11:33She unalived herself, unfortunately, recently.
- 11:35A few months ago.
- 11:38And her story goes that she was married to this pastor, and he was incredibly abusive.
- 11:50She was very vocal about him being abusive as she was trying to leave.
- 11:53Other people were aware of the situation, and she had told people close to her that
- 12:02if she ever died, it was him.
- 12:05He did it.
- 12:06Now part of the abuse from him was that he had convinced her to send nude pictures, and
- 12:15I don't know the nature of the nude pictures, but they were married.
- 12:19There's nothing inherently wrong with that, except that he had forced her to send them.
- 12:27It wasn't like she wanted to, and that was just part of their relationship.
- 12:32He had forced that out of her, and then he used those pictures to blackmail her.
- 12:37That's horrible.
- 12:38Yeah.
- 12:39Now the rest of the story, I would highly recommend looking it up.
- 12:43It's very important.
- 12:45It's a very important story, I think, because as Brie said, I don't know how to say that
- 12:53without it being...
- 12:54That's what they say on TikTok, because if you say anything, they take it down.
- 13:00And it was ruled that that's what happened.
- 13:04Now you can decide for yourself whether you think that's actually what happened or not.
- 13:08A lot of people do not.
- 13:09A lot of people think her husband was at fault, but either way, from the abuse...
- 13:16I think regardless, he was at fault.
- 13:18She was driven.
- 13:19Even if he didn't do it, he drove her to it with a lot of manipulation, a lot of hatefulness.
- 13:29And this man was a pastor.
- 13:31It doesn't get more disgusting than that.
- 13:35And to look at that situation and know that was without the use of AI.
- 13:40That was just manipulation.
- 13:43And that was a man who was married to this woman, supposed to love her, supposed to care
- 13:46for her, and he pulled this crap.
- 13:50So what happens now?
- 13:52Now that the whole avenue is open?
- 13:55One of the podcasts...
- 13:56I don't know that this necessarily relates to what we're talking about, but one of the
- 13:59podcasts was also saying that it's not just making images of people or exploiting them
- 14:07in that way.
- 14:08It's also historical.
- 14:10So you can take voices of old presidents, you can take voices of people of importance,
- 14:16you know, and make them say what you want them to say.
- 14:21So there's a video going around of Nixon's voice essentially saying that the moon landing
- 14:26never happened, but it was all AI generated.
- 14:30But people don't know that.
- 14:32And unless you do some serious digging, you think, well, I found my evidence.
- 14:37But how much more can you do with anything else?
- 14:41One of the podcasts that I was listening to was saying so many people are arguing that
- 14:46like, well, it's not as offensive because these AI images of women that they're stealing
- 14:53or creating aren't real.
- 14:56But they are real in very real ways.
- 15:00They are really going to affect someone.
- 15:03And it's if you really want a picture of someone that's just not real, don't use someone's
- 15:08face.
- 15:10Why do you need her face in there?
- 15:12If you're just computer generating something that doesn't affect her in any way.
- 15:17And let's talk about the issue of consent, like she never consented to be in your pictures,
- 15:24or at least get her consent to do that.
- 15:27Right.
- 15:28Exactly.
- 15:29Yeah.
- 15:30I mean, I struggle with a lot of this stuff.
- 15:33But consent matters.
- 15:35It absolutely matters and more than just the ways that you're thinking.
- 15:39Even if you choose to keep these AI generated images or videos or whatever to yourself,
- 15:46if she didn't consent, that is still assault.
- 15:51That is still and the law will have to catch up to these things.
- 15:56However, there are laws in place for essentially sexual manipulation.
- 16:02I remember when we were younger in our area at one of the schools, students sent around
- 16:11some pictures of another student and they were both minors.
- 16:15She was minor, he was minor, and he sent it to one person who sent it to the next person
- 16:20who sent it to the next person.
- 16:22And eventually the whole school had access to this picture.
- 16:26And a lot of people faulted her for having taken the picture in the first place.
- 16:33That it was somehow something that she had done wrong.
- 16:36Now that's insane because no matter what she's chosen to do, that boy had absolutely no right
- 16:43ever to share it.
- 16:45No.
- 16:46Because again, consent.
- 16:48But with the advent of AI, you now no longer even have that excuse.
- 16:54Nope.
- 16:55Because she never made the picture.
- 16:58She never sent you the picture.
- 17:00Maybe you pulled it offline.
- 17:02Maybe you snuck a creepy picture while you were at work.
- 17:04Whatever it is, she didn't send you a nude photo.
- 17:09She didn't send you an inappropriate photo.
- 17:12I feel like on some level we're making like, here's the scary world.
- 17:19But I think what the purpose of this podcast, at least for me, is just awareness of the
- 17:26situation.
- 17:27For women to be aware that it could happen and to be cautious and to kind of steal up
- 17:35for in case that happens to you, what would you do?
- 17:39How would you handle it?
- 17:40And I don't know what to tell you in that scenario.
- 17:42It's horrific and I hope that you would be able to press charges.
- 17:47But also for men, to make them aware that this is not okay.
- 17:53No.
- 17:54Not in any world is it okay.
- 17:57I think it's easy to convince yourself that anything you do in the walls of your home
- 18:03is your business and it's fine.
- 18:05The devil is great at justifying terrible behavior.
- 18:08And at the end of the day, just because you're doing something in private doesn't make it
- 18:13okay.
- 18:14I think about who else is this affecting?
- 18:17It's not just you if you're stealing those pictures offline.
- 18:21Even if, again, even if it's someone you don't know.
- 18:25Celebrities, strangers, it's not okay.
- 18:29Well you think because I never have to interact with that person, they're never going to know
- 18:33me that this makes it fine, but it doesn't.
- 18:38It doesn't.
- 18:40People think that celebrities, because they live their lives so out in the open and publicly,
- 18:44they have some kind of right to them.
- 18:46And you don't.
- 18:47You never have rights to someone else's body.
- 18:50Even if it's a picture.
- 18:51I'm interested to see how this situation progresses.
- 18:56Because at least from where I'm sitting, we at work have AI detectors.
- 19:02So I'll have a writer send me in an article and I can run it through an AI detector to
- 19:07tell me essentially did chat GPT write this article.
- 19:12So it'll be interesting to see do those things pop up for videos or pictures and how that
- 19:19functions.
- 19:20The future has some great technology ahead of it.
- 19:24For us we use it to track people's dental hygiene and how their teeth are tracking within
- 19:31design.
- 19:32It's a very cool system.
- 19:33It tracks for like a hundred different, I don't know, it confuses me.
- 19:37Like, it is cool.
- 19:40And using it in that way where you can make someone's life better, awesome.
- 19:47When you're using it maliciously.
- 19:48Well, it can be such a tool that you can utilize.
- 19:53Like for the podcast and our editing software, it saves me so much time.
- 20:01Like the reason that we're able to do these mini episodes is because we use an editing
- 20:05software that automatically filters out all the times we say it.
- 20:08Which is a lot.
- 20:09And I'm going to have to tell it not to filter that one out.
- 20:12Leave that one alone.
- 20:15And honestly, like, you guys don't hear it as much, but we say it a lot.
- 20:21We say a lot of ums and we edit out a lot of crap for you guys.
- 20:25You're welcome.
- 20:28And that software allows me to do it quickly and simply without spending four years in
- 20:34this un-air-conditioned room trying to deal with it.
- 20:37To be honest, this may be the end for me.
- 20:40It may pass away.
- 20:41We have an hour long episode to record after this.
- 20:48And now a song.
- 20:53Don't trust a hole whenever trust a hole.
- 20:56I think that's the opposite message that we want.
- 21:00I think something that's important to bring up is like, if you see something, and this
- 21:05is like the oldest, well maybe not the oldest phrase in the book, always be cautious of
- 21:11what you see on the internet.
- 21:13Don't assume that what you see is real.
- 21:16Don't assume Kim Kardashian is going to be a man.
- 21:20Yeah, because she'd be wrong.
- 21:22I'd be wrong.
- 21:23I'd be dead wrong.
- 21:24And don't share it with people if you don't know that's true.
- 21:28On the plus side, I think TikTok filters a lot of these things.
- 21:32And they're trying to filter the use of AI in a big way.
- 21:36We'll see how that works.
- 21:38And if you see something or you see another person that you know using this in a bad way,
- 21:46confront them.
- 21:47It's okay to say that's not okay.
- 21:49Right.
- 21:50Well, I think, you know, in Christian circles, they say that P star RN.
- 21:55Yeah, there you go.
- 21:57P star RN is just massively prevalent.
- 22:02It's just everywhere in Christian circles.
- 22:06And I think it's because you, it's because of what I just said.
- 22:11You think God doesn't care about what you do in private.
- 22:14Or maybe not that he doesn't care, but that it's not as bad.
- 22:18Right.
- 22:19God cares.
- 22:20God cares.
- 22:21God cares how you treat people.
- 22:24He cares about the woman that you are assaulting, that you don't think you're assaulting because
- 22:31you've justified it in your head.
- 22:34But this is all outlined for us in the Bible, where God says, love each other, love your
- 22:40neighbor, love your brothers and sisters.
- 22:43If you truly love someone, you don't treat them like this.
- 22:46Would you want someone doing that to you?
- 22:48Or your child?
- 22:50Or anyone you love?
- 22:51Or your friend?
- 22:52Yeah.
- 22:53If you respect yourself in any way or anybody you love, you wouldn't.
- 22:57I think it's easy to lie to, like people will say, well, I wouldn't care.
- 23:01I wouldn't care.
- 23:02And that justifies it for them.
- 23:04And I understand that that is probably going to be the justification for a lot of people.
- 23:08Why wouldn't care if someone did this to me?
- 23:09It doesn't really matter if you wouldn't care, would they care?
- 23:13Did you ask them?
- 23:14Yeah.
- 23:15Did you ask them?
- 23:16I'm going to guess you didn't.
- 23:17I'm going to guess you didn't.
- 23:18And if they found out what you were doing, would you feel ashamed of yourself?
- 23:23Would you try to hide what you're doing?
- 23:26Because if you're trying to hide it, you probably know that it's wrong.
- 23:31My concern too is, we think about this as the gross people that are kind of at the bottom
- 23:37of society and whatever.
- 23:39It's not.
- 23:40It's not.
- 23:41It's not.
- 23:42It's pastors.
- 23:43It is.
- 23:44It's your neighbor.
- 23:45It's your boss.
- 23:49I don't know.
- 23:51Well, that's why I hate saying to women, be careful, watch yourself, be more cautious
- 23:58around men.
- 24:01We didn't do an episode on the bear analogy, but if you haven't heard it, it's essentially
- 24:08asking women, would you rather run into a bear or a man if you were walking alone in
- 24:13the forest?
- 24:16And most women, I would say a huge percentage of women said that they would rather run into
- 24:21the bear.
- 24:22And that's been very controversial because men have said, well, not all men are bad.
- 24:28And that's, no one is saying that all men are bad.
- 24:32I don't think anybody is saying that.
- 24:34Maybe like two people.
- 24:35But like, I don't think that's the prevalent message here.
- 24:39The message is that we have to be careful of every single man.
- 24:47Because even if it's one in a hundred, one in a thousand, if I'm not careful, I'm likely
- 24:53to be the next victim.
- 24:56And I'm not willing for that to happen.
- 24:58So I have to be careful of all 100 men instead of just the one.
- 25:04Because we've been conditioned to be that way too, because most women have run into
- 25:10situations in their life where they've run into men and been treated inappropriately.
- 25:16Whether that be like physically or verbally.
- 25:19I think that's probably universal.
- 25:21Like I don't think there's many women out there.
- 25:23Well think back to like the Me Too movement.
- 25:26People kind of, especially like the Christian circles kind of-
- 25:29They villainized it.
- 25:30They villainized it because they were like, well, I don't know what they were saying.
- 25:35That should show you how big of a problem this is.
- 25:40Right.
- 25:41Well there's that song, is it Dua Lipa?
- 25:44Boys Will Be Boys?
- 25:46So one of the lines in that is, sick intuition that they taught us so we won't freak out.
- 25:53And that is so- I listened to it today.
- 25:55That is so impactful because you think back as a little girl.
- 26:03We were taught if there's a man in the aisle at the grocery store, don't go in that aisle.
- 26:10If you're walking in the parking lot, have your keys between your fingers.
- 26:14If you're walking back from class, have your pepper spray out.
- 26:18When you walk in your house after you get home from work, don't turn all the lights
- 26:23on right away because you don't want people to know when you get home.
- 26:27And I don't think either of us are saying that this can't impact men also.
- 26:30It's just from our perspective, what women were taught.
- 26:36And unfortunately, our mothers and our grandmothers had to teach this to us.
- 26:42There's no fault there in them teaching it to us.
- 26:44They had to, but why did they have to?
- 26:48Because we haven't taught our boys to respect women from the jump.
- 26:54Is that a bad way to say that?
- 26:57From the beginning.
- 26:59Exactly, that's exactly it.
- 27:04And you can see that move through society.
- 27:08And so it needs to be addressed.
- 27:09It needs to be called out.
- 27:10People need to say to men, we expect more of you.
- 27:15So I guess maybe that's the purpose of this podcast, not to scare women, not to say like
- 27:19you need to have an exit plan, whatever, but to tell men, I don't know how many men are
- 27:24listening to our feminism podcast.
- 27:26Hello, men.
- 27:27Nathan's listening.
- 27:28Hello, man.
- 27:29Hey, maybe your boyfriend Curtis is listening.
- 27:34Curtis, are you still in want of a wife?
- 27:39Anyway, but for the men out there, if you hear this, if someone sends it to you, do
- 27:47better.
- 27:49Not just for you.
- 27:51Maybe you're doing great.
- 27:52I don't know.
- 27:53Yeah, I'm assuming you are.
- 27:54Do amazing things.
- 27:57Tell your sons to do better.
- 27:59Tell your friends to do better.
- 28:01Check in on them and make sure they're not behaving this way.
- 28:04Because it's like, remember the song from Warrior Kids, This Little Light of Mine?
- 28:09I'm gonna let it shine.
- 28:11Who's gonna sing now, Alyssa?
- 28:12I'm not gonna sing.
- 28:13You're gonna sing.
- 28:14I just did.
- 28:15You did.
- 28:16But it's like if you have, if you as a man, because you have more influence in the circles
- 28:24with the other men, if you decide that you're going to be a better person, that you're going
- 28:31to be above this kind of behavior, that you're gonna fight for the rights of women, let that
- 28:35light shine, and then maybe it affects just one other person.
- 28:40And then they take that and it affects two other people.
- 28:43It's like, what is that movie where the kid did one good act and then-
- 28:46I know what you're talking about.
- 28:47But all I can say is the giving tree.
- 28:50Nope, that's not it.
- 28:52It has fully escaped my brain.
- 28:54But yeah.
- 28:56The Perfect Gift?
- 28:57No.
- 28:58That's not it.
- 28:59Anyway.
- 29:00Eat, Pray, Love?
- 29:01That is definitely not it.
- 29:05So let your light shine.
- 29:08That's the message.
- 29:09I got all I need when I got you and I.
- 29:13Flashlight.
- 29:14Alright guys, we're gonna wind this down because I am going to die of a heat stroke at any
- 29:19moment.
- 29:20I've already gone.
- 29:21Bree's talking from the grave.
- 29:23The Beyond.
- 29:24Ah.
- 29:25We listened to the Haunted Mansion theme song today.
- 29:27You have a problem.
- 29:28I can't wait to go.
- 29:30I know.
- 29:31Very excited.
- 29:32Sarah mentioned it to me today.
- 29:33She goes, Bree!
- 29:34It's coming up so soon!
- 29:35Are you excited?
- 29:36And I was like-
- 29:37It's like, are you more excited than me?
- 29:40Maybe.
- 29:41Alright.
- 29:42We'll see you guys next time- actually, we'll see you guys in about five minutes when we
- 29:45record the next episode.
- 29:47If you notice some consistency in like, oh, they sound like they're gonna die.
- 29:52We recorded these two episodes at the same time.
- 29:54Don't worry.
- 29:55Back to back.
- 29:56Alright.
- 29:57We'll see you guys soon.
- 29:58Bye!
