- 0:50Speaker 2: three of O t B here on this Wednesday morning.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Before we get this hour started, I want to remind
- 0:56Speaker 2: you about our friends over at PALLA. At Palla, they
- 0:59Speaker 2: are making major investments in the future of Louisiana. They
- 1:03Speaker 2: have a seventy thousand square foot fabrication facility and it
- 1:06Speaker 2: is growing with state of the art equipment with a
- 1:08Speaker 2: brand new coding service line. These upgrades mean more Louisiana jobs,
- 1:14Speaker 2: keeping those jobs right here in this stable, enhancing their
- 1:16Speaker 2: ability to deliver for their clients across the United States.
- 1:19Speaker 2: For over fifty two years, they have been built on
- 1:22Speaker 2: trust and power by experience, employee owned, relationship driven Learn
- 1:26Speaker 2: more at pallor group dot com.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Right now, don't see them? Does it right now? Yeah?
- 1:34Speaker 3: Go see the industrial construction. Yeah, we'll short circuit on
- 1:38Speaker 3: my part. That's on me. I think it's the best
- 1:41Speaker 3: you've ever done. Hey, great when you're wrong that's true.
- 1:46Speaker 1: They're calling you a clinker in the chat. What a clinker?
- 1:49Speaker 3: What is that near it?
- 1:51Speaker 1: It's a slur for a robot.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Slur for a road they have for robot slurs.
- 2:00Speaker 3: That's good, clean fun.
- 2:01Speaker 1: We wire back.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Dane's so funny. My gosh, oh man, that is good. Man.
- 2:17Speaker 3: I've laughed a lot today. Laughing is good for the soul.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Live laugh. Love. Should make shirts.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Lets say that we should like we should make signs
- 2:29Speaker 2: and maybe yeah, you kind of have like a fall
- 2:34Speaker 2: theme kind of feel to him.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Maybe yeah, Yeah, that's guys, those are gonna fly off
- 2:42Speaker 3: the shelf.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Hold on may get snoopy themed.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Oh oh man, it's not too long before Charlie Brown
- 2:53Speaker 2: in that football gets pulled away.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Pelican season.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, if you're still going for the ball,
- 3:00Speaker 1: that's on you.
- 3:02Speaker 3: It's very true.
- 3:03Speaker 2: T Bob's not here for that positive optimism when it
- 3:07Speaker 2: comes to another Pelicans basketball season.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Oh man, he would give one every November. He'd get
- 3:13Speaker 4: up here and he'd pour his little heart out, and
- 3:15Speaker 4: then two weeks later he'd be like, cause we just saw.
- 3:17Speaker 3: He's got big heart, just little hands and feet.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean de Jontay Murray had me maybe a little,
- 3:24Speaker 1: but then he got.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Hurt and.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Something about stepping inside the Smoothieking Center. You're just like
- 3:30Speaker 4: immediate soft tissue, and.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't wait to come in here, and you're right,
- 3:34Speaker 2: I can't wait to come in here. And like just
- 3:37Speaker 2: completely surprised Flynn with a Pelican segment.
- 3:43Speaker 3: And see where his mind.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Goes Pelicans right now? Oh man, no, we got we
- 3:53Speaker 5: got news ion this year.
- 3:54Speaker 3: They are gonna look he's ion. What's he got? The shot?
- 3:58Speaker 3: You got something probab looks great?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Wait, did y'all see? Okay, I just saw this on
- 4:04Speaker 1: Twitter and it was uh, South Alabama, I think, and
- 4:10Speaker 1: their dance team.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Was out there, Alabama State, Alabama.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And Alabama State that's where. Yeah, so Alabama stay in
- 4:21Speaker 1: Florida A and M and the I think the fam
- 4:23Speaker 1: you cheerleader or the dance team was out there and
- 4:27Speaker 1: the announcer let me find it so we can play it.
- 4:30Speaker 1: The announcer made like an ozimpic joke. He goes, this
- 4:37Speaker 1: is the new Faces of ozempic or something along those lines.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So once finds it, we'll play it.
- 4:42Speaker 3: But so it was.
- 4:44Speaker 4: It was the Florida A and M. Yeah, guy, Okay,
- 4:47Speaker 4: the honeybees is what they call them, Okay, And he
- 4:50Speaker 4: was like, yeah, coming to the field, honey bees or
- 4:52Speaker 4: the new faces of ozempic. I guess they're like skinny
- 4:54Speaker 4: or something. And a little bit of backlash.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Oh no, interesting over the p A and everything.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Yeah, like not a hop might.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Like he intentionally said it over the p A. Like
- 5:08Speaker 1: it was like a joke that he made.
- 5:10Speaker 3: This is intentional. I mean, we haven't seen it. Yes,
- 5:14Speaker 3: I don't know. I got it, y'all.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah, y'all need to look at the video. Answers are not.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I mean, look, I'm not trying to fight, but like.
- 5:27Speaker 6: I don't know if we should play this video is
- 5:35Speaker 6: from the press box.
- 5:36Speaker 4: You can't really see him, so well we can use
- 5:39Speaker 4: this one, all right.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Yeah, congratulated them now the new face.
- 5:55Speaker 4: But that's pretty much the video. But yeah, I mean
- 5:57Speaker 4: he said it like he wrote it with his He's like,
- 6:00Speaker 4: this one's gonna crush.
- 6:02Speaker 3: He thought of that the night before I wrote it
- 6:03Speaker 3: down in the crowd immediately.
- 6:07Speaker 1: The crowds reaction. No, the crowd's reaction is objectively funny.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Mike is bad.
- 6:18Speaker 4: This was intentional, No.
- 6:19Speaker 1: He was, He's yeah, whoopsies, dang man.
- 6:29Speaker 3: All right, so this was the fame you two? Was
- 6:32Speaker 3: it album? And all right?
- 6:35Speaker 4: The Honeybees?
- 6:36Speaker 3: Dang Alabama state, you got twenty four hours to respond.
- 6:40Speaker 3: You can't let this man get out.
- 6:42Speaker 2: You can't let him pop off these jokes and not respond.
- 6:45Speaker 2: No strays right, all right, see what the response is?
- 6:51Speaker 3: Dang.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I can't believe that man said like I thought, maybe
- 6:53Speaker 2: a hot mic situation. Maybe said it like on a
- 6:55Speaker 2: broadcast where the listeners at home could hear, but not.
- 6:59Speaker 3: In the stage the stadium.
- 7:00Speaker 1: All right, whoa.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I want to see some videos like the crowd like
- 7:07Speaker 2: turning their head towards the press spot.
- 7:08Speaker 5: You know, like there's some band, like there's some exciting
- 7:11Speaker 5: bands that like the PA announcers like part of the show. Right,
- 7:15Speaker 5: he's pumped up the crowd. They got lines for him,
- 7:17Speaker 5: different things. This man kind of went off the rails
- 7:21Speaker 5: a little bit.
- 7:22Speaker 3: For sure.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You saw. I don't know if this is real or not,
- 7:25Speaker 1: but if we're gonna like fully get into this, did
- 7:28Speaker 1: y'all see another horny quarterback? Bites the dust set the
- 7:34Speaker 1: TI on the camera.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Guys, that's why they have camera timers.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, if these things are real.
- 7:48Speaker 2: These these these people get people are getting out of control,
- 7:52Speaker 2: Like what.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Are we doing?
- 7:53Speaker 1: It was Carson back VI viewers and now Drew Aller.
- 7:58Speaker 2: If you're wondering, just go you're we can't shows nothing,
- 8:01Speaker 2: we can we can't even nope.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Mm hmmm, what was wrong?
- 8:07Speaker 4: Well you move fast?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Maybe that's just how I roll.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Ah.
- 8:15Speaker 1: He had a solution that they're ready. He said, you
- 8:17Speaker 1: use that that cameratimer.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Mm hmm. Yeah, you know, back in our day, she's like,
- 8:23Speaker 3: He's like, this is what I want.
- 8:24Speaker 4: I can't make that happen.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Yeah, you can.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Back in our day, we used to have to talk
- 8:29Speaker 5: to you know, talk to girls, you know with their mouths,
- 8:31Speaker 5: you know, just speak to them.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Instead of just say the most ridiculous things. Instagram d M. Yeah,
- 8:40Speaker 3: that's a different world out there. It is.
- 8:45Speaker 2: You also have to know like your name and and
- 8:48Speaker 2: handle and if it Israel, it's all attached to that, right, yep.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Also Instagram is not the place to do it because
- 8:58Speaker 1: on Snapchat it's tells you if somebody screenshot something, but
- 9:02Speaker 1: on Instagram it doesn't.
- 9:04Speaker 3: But if even it tells you like what are you
- 9:06Speaker 3: gonna do? Wait again, God, that doesn't care.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Like on Snapchat, if you if you screenshot the chat
- 9:13Speaker 1: tells the person that you screenshot on Instagram it does
- 9:17Speaker 1: not gotcha. So like, if you're gonna do it, do
- 9:20Speaker 1: it on Snapchat, I guess.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Respect. But that person that you send they have some
- 9:26Speaker 3: self respect. Maybe just text them, I guess.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Then, like at least you can deny it and be like,
- 9:32Speaker 5: that's not my world, that's not my number, or that's
- 9:34Speaker 5: not that.
- 9:35Speaker 3: She just save. Someone just created this. She just created
- 9:38Speaker 3: a random and she's just trying to frame me. Yeah,
- 9:43Speaker 3: you hadn't swivel out there people both.
- 9:45Speaker 5: Ways, Honestly, Like, if there's one piece of advice I
- 9:50Speaker 5: could give to people out in the world, it's just like.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Don't leave a paper trail.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Don't be dumb. I think a lot of people make
- 9:56Speaker 3: dumb airs.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Never write checks when you're committing a crime.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Okay, right, checks committee man, no paper trail, yeah mm hmm.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Don't write checks your body can't cash from top gun.
- 10:12Speaker 2: So that's a nice playoff that like it.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I like it all right, Well appreciate that, Elandra.
- 10:19Speaker 1: You're welcome. That's what I'm here for.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Hey, it's Wednesday. Do we have a little Deer Delandre.
- 10:25Speaker 3: At nine point thirty, we'll have Deer Delandra.
- 10:27Speaker 2: So get any of your dear Delandra questions in. I mean,
- 10:31Speaker 2: I don't know that you're ever going to top go South.
- 10:33Speaker 2: I'm just gonna be honest with you. I mean, he
- 10:35Speaker 2: is really it's not a Mount Rushmore because he's alone.
- 10:40Speaker 2: So he's all four spaces. Yeah, it's a statue of liberty.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Yeah right now.
- 10:46Speaker 3: But you can try.
- 10:46Speaker 2: You can try to one up him. I don't know
- 10:48Speaker 2: that you're ever going to get that done, but you
- 10:50Speaker 2: can try.
- 10:50Speaker 4: It's Everest, which we've gotten confused.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Certainly Mount Rushmore Mount Everest for an entire show one.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Time, Yeah, sure, pretty much the same thing, both mountains.
- 11:03Speaker 5: What I do want to get to I think something
- 11:05Speaker 5: we talked about last week. It's really easy during football
- 11:08Speaker 5: season to kind of get the entire show spend three
- 11:12Speaker 5: hours talking about our local teams, right, I want to.
- 11:15Speaker 5: I think as a sports show, we probably need to
- 11:18Speaker 5: spend just a little bit of time maybe taking a
- 11:21Speaker 5: little bit of wider look across the landscape the sporting world.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I think that's a great idea. I think we built
- 11:28Speaker 2: our brand off doing that. Yep, we're not going to
- 11:30Speaker 2: dive deep into it, and I think we should do
- 11:32Speaker 2: that when we come back. Absolutely a segment that if
- 11:35Speaker 2: you're an OG hanging with hester fan, that you'll remember
- 11:38Speaker 2: and hopefully you'll remember it finally and we'll have that
- 11:41Speaker 2: for you when we come back here.
- 11:43Speaker 3: On o TV.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Off the bench, all right, Go to trash rangers dot com.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Trash ranger dot com is a place you can go
- 11:51Speaker 2: to to sign up for residential commercial service. Also you

- 11:59Speaker 2: to six one, two, two, four seven seven is the number.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Say hey, you got a project at my home. More
- 12:06Speaker 2: my business does not matter. Here's what I'm anticipating from
- 12:09Speaker 2: this project. They're gonna make sure you have the right
- 12:11Speaker 2: size dumpster on set project and they're gonna make sure
- 12:13Speaker 2: they have it right every single time.

- 12:37Speaker 5: they have the sanitation as well, so portable toilets right there.
- 12:42Speaker 5: They are number one, they're picking up number two. Go
- 12:45Speaker 5: check them out trash Rangers dot Com.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Let me conte you how.
- 13:12Speaker 3: To get shute it.
- 13:14Speaker 1: With the boy. I don't remember if I played the
- 13:17Speaker 1: rejoint or not. K so just I don't know.
- 13:22Speaker 3: I don't remember either. You know, Oh t b c
- 13:26Speaker 3: te what breen cell? Big brain cell, very big.
- 13:33Speaker 2: All right, before we bring back a segment that Matt
- 13:36Speaker 2: and I enjoyed doing seven eight years ago, I want
- 13:40Speaker 2: to tell you about Campus Federal Credit Union, serving Louisiana
- 13:43Speaker 2: since nineteen thirty four. They are local, they are trusted,
- 13:46Speaker 2: and they treat you like family. Whether you need a
- 13:49Speaker 2: checking account, an auto loan, or even a mortgage, Campus

- 13:55Speaker 3: They got branches in Baton.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Rouge, New Orleans, Tree Fort, and of course easy mobile
- 14:00Speaker 2: banking for game days.
- 14:02Speaker 3: On the go.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Check them out of Campus Federal dot or Campus Federal
- 14:05Speaker 2: Credit Union Louisiana Roots, Louisiana Strong Campus, Federal dot Org.
- 14:11Speaker 2: All right, this is something that we did again during
- 14:14Speaker 2: Haying with Hester show.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Yes, that's about to say were we two or three hours?
- 14:20Speaker 3: They were two? We were sixth day.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Okay, so we were two hour show and oftentimes Wednesday. Wait,
- 14:25Speaker 2: I was there once weak it was Wednesday, though Wednesday.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Maybe it was Wednesday. Well you did it every day.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I think I was Wednesday, but mainly Wednesday. Yeah, all right,
- 14:33Speaker 2: uh so if you're watching on YouTube, you're gonna get
- 14:35Speaker 2: a chance to see something you haven't seen in a
- 14:37Speaker 2: very long time.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Toyas. That's right there, it is. We're bringing back crop
- 14:55Speaker 3: dusting sports production budget on this show.
- 14:59Speaker 2: So through the roos, shout out to my guy Craig
- 15:01Speaker 2: for putting it together any man years ago. Yes, this
- 15:05Speaker 2: is what we used to do for two hours back
- 15:08Speaker 2: in the Hanging with Hester days because there wasn't a
- 15:10Speaker 2: lot of sports being a lot of lot of sports
- 15:13Speaker 2: takes given out during that two hours. A lot of
- 15:15Speaker 2: times it was CW shows. It was Pacy's Creek versus
- 15:19Speaker 2: Dawson's Creek. It was meth Gators, it was Joe Burrow
- 15:23Speaker 2: and was it Pete Warner fighting over the tire at
- 15:26Speaker 2: Ohio State. Yeah, horse jokes and so there. You know,
- 15:30Speaker 2: when we got into sports, it was called crop dusting.
- 15:32Speaker 5: I mean, we were really more focused on like what
- 15:35Speaker 5: the bump music theme was going to be very much
- 15:37Speaker 5: for that day, what the headlines were.
- 15:40Speaker 3: So we decided here, it's easy. We got three hours
- 15:42Speaker 3: here every.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Single morning Monday through Friday, and it's I think during
- 15:45Speaker 5: football season it's like Monday, we were talking like it
- 15:49Speaker 5: was two hours of forty five minutes of like just
- 15:53Speaker 5: depressing talk about LSU football and a little bit of
- 15:56Speaker 5: talk about Saints and the moral victories. And I was like, well,
- 16:00Speaker 5: there's a lot of big things that happened. I think
- 16:02Speaker 5: we even skipped week in winters this there's a lot
- 16:06Speaker 5: of big things and there's a lot of big things
- 16:07Speaker 5: in sports that happen, and I think it is a
- 16:09Speaker 5: three hour show.
- 16:10Speaker 3: We owe it to the sports.
- 16:11Speaker 5: Community to talk about the big things happening around the
- 16:16Speaker 5: world of sport. So we're like, hey, let's do it
- 16:20Speaker 5: for one segment. We're gonna bring it back because you know,
- 16:23Speaker 5: weekend winners, we get a chance every Mondy to talk
- 16:24Speaker 5: about what happened in the weekend, but throughout the week things
- 16:27Speaker 5: happened as well. And of course we're not experts in sports,
- 16:31Speaker 5: so we're just gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna go right
- 16:33Speaker 5: past it. So we're just gonna crop dust some sports,
- 16:36Speaker 5: maybe every day, maybe just maybe one we feel like it,
- 16:39Speaker 5: we'll find out.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Check that out.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Oh look at that. Whoa, Yeah, we got a graphic
- 16:46Speaker 2: and everything.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Did they raise the budget on this show? It feels
- 16:52Speaker 3: like they did.
- 16:52Speaker 1: All right.
- 16:52Speaker 2: My first topic and crop dusting sports across the country
- 16:56Speaker 2: that we typically wouldn't get into here on this regional show.
- 17:01Speaker 2: The Cleveland Browns bench Joe Flacco in turn two Dylan
- 17:10Speaker 2: as they're starting quarter How do we feel about Dylan
- 17:15Speaker 2: Gabriel now they're starting quarterback four the Cleveland Browns.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Certainly, I mean Chador is at least the backup now, right.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Uh, Nope, No, Joe Flacco is going to be the
- 17:23Speaker 2: backup and Shade Sanders is still going to be the
- 17:25Speaker 2: third emergency quarterback.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I think this is.
- 17:32Speaker 5: Flaka has been playing pretty decent, right, I know their
- 17:34Speaker 5: wins aren't there, but I mean he's been playing okay,
- 17:37Speaker 5: but it's probably time.
- 17:39Speaker 3: It makes sense to me.
- 17:40Speaker 4: This gives you something more in your offense, like strength
- 17:43Speaker 4: to Cleveland right now is their running game.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Dylan Gabriel can run with the ball. He can just
- 17:47Speaker 3: do a little bit that Chandor and Flacco can't.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Ye like you always grab Flacco to make sure, like
- 17:52Speaker 4: the starting before one of your rookies are ready.
- 17:54Speaker 3: I think Gabriel's ready, Hell go with it. He has
- 17:56Speaker 3: drafted before like that.
- 17:59Speaker 5: So Chador is the third string, still the third string,
- 18:03Speaker 5: flagens of me, the backup.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Dylan Gabriel is the starter now.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Yep, every headline it is about Shador, which is I mean,
- 18:09Speaker 5: it's I mean, obviously we're not surprised by that. We're
- 18:11Speaker 5: not even complaining about it. I just it's it's funny
- 18:13Speaker 5: because you just keep forgetting Dylan Gabriel was selected multiple
- 18:17Speaker 5: rounds ahead of him, so he is by default ahead
- 18:20Speaker 5: of him unless he does something to lose the job.
- 18:24Speaker 5: It's hard for Shador to like beat somebody out that
- 18:26Speaker 5: quickly that was drafted that yet and you hadn't really
- 18:29Speaker 5: played preseason. But Dylan Gabriel would have had to go
- 18:32Speaker 5: and look bad, and obviously has not looked bad.
- 18:34Speaker 3: They think highly of them. They drafted him multiple rounds before.
- 18:39Speaker 3: So yeah, it's the move.
- 18:40Speaker 5: I mean that if anybody's saying it's not the move,
- 18:42Speaker 5: they should start Shador right now. It's they don't understand
- 18:45Speaker 5: football and how business works.
- 18:49Speaker 4: As somebody this morning shocker, they said, you can't convince
- 18:53Speaker 4: me that Shador Sanders is not ready. Well, you're not
- 18:55Speaker 4: out there in practice, you're not you you have no idea.
- 18:58Speaker 4: You're talking out of your ass. But they have a
- 19:01Speaker 4: lot of confidence in Gabriel. This is an eight am
- 19:03Speaker 4: game overseas against the Minnesota Vikings. Good luck to you,
- 19:07Speaker 4: Dylan Gabriel.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Yep, I wish that he was funny.
- 19:10Speaker 2: You know, it was three or three nineteen yards in
- 19:13Speaker 2: a touchdown and mop up duty against the Ravens. But
- 19:17Speaker 2: you're right, Like the entire time that they were talking
- 19:19Speaker 2: about it, they never once showed Dylan Gaber on the screen.
- 19:22Speaker 2: It was only shar Sanders. So like, there's some things
- 19:25Speaker 2: that he's gonna have to do with this.
- 19:26Speaker 5: Noor's like in this unfair situation, kind of like arc
- 19:29Speaker 5: man in is. It's like, but here was a quote
- 19:31Speaker 5: the other day saying, yeah, I'm ready to play. I
- 19:32Speaker 5: could play right now. And they were hating on it
- 19:35Speaker 5: for It's like, what do you want.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Him to say? Everybody wants everybody's gonna say they're ready.
- 19:38Speaker 3: He's a professional football player. That's why you get to
- 19:40Speaker 3: that level, because you're cocky.
- 19:43Speaker 5: And you believe you're the best. Yep, you're already talking
- 19:46Speaker 5: too much on this subject. That was a little bit
- 19:49Speaker 5: further than crop Dustin. All right, all right, go ahead, sir,
- 19:54Speaker 5: you're up. University of Arkansas athletic director Hunter, you're a
- 19:58Speaker 5: check YEP. Had a quote, Yes, after the firing our
- 20:03Speaker 5: guy Sam Pitman RP quote Coach Pittman did not have
- 20:06Speaker 5: the resources he needed to appropriately compete in this conference
- 20:10Speaker 5: right now?
- 20:11Speaker 3: End quote. How the hell are you going to come
- 20:14Speaker 3: out and say that to the public.
- 20:18Speaker 5: You are the athletic director and you are basically telling
- 20:22Speaker 5: everybody that you are not good enough at your job
- 20:26Speaker 5: to allow our head coach you everybody liked to be
- 20:30Speaker 5: successful in the Southeastern Conference.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, right down the road from Walmart. How about them?
- 20:37Speaker 3: They got somebody to have a Walmart logo on their field.
- 20:44Speaker 2: And you don't have the resources to dedicate to the
- 20:49Speaker 2: SEC tackle football team to compete with a coach that
- 20:55Speaker 2: that obviously everybody cared about, everybody liked.
- 20:58Speaker 3: They actually did.
- 20:59Speaker 5: Right by him by firing him now because he made
- 21:03Speaker 5: about three million dollars more if they would have waited.
- 21:06Speaker 5: It's in his contract that I think he gets paid
- 21:08Speaker 5: seventy five percent buyout if he has above a five
- 21:11Speaker 5: hundred record when he gets fired. Yeah, if it drops
- 21:14Speaker 5: to fifty percent, if it drops under five hundred win percentage,
- 21:19Speaker 5: it goes to a fifty percent buyout and his record out.
- 21:23Speaker 5: And he's like, he's two games, he's two losses away
- 21:25Speaker 5: from being under five hundred. So and they played tennis.
- 21:28Speaker 5: They have a big, pretty tough schedule ahead. So it
- 21:30Speaker 5: actually did right by him, paid him more money. Yeah,
- 21:35Speaker 5: the weird get out of here garbage quote.
- 21:39Speaker 4: We like this guy, we didn't give him the resources
- 21:41Speaker 4: to be successful, so it's not his fault we fired
- 21:44Speaker 4: him anyways. Oh and hey, we're looking for a head coach.
- 21:47Speaker 4: All you coaching candidates out there, just know we're not
- 21:49Speaker 4: going to invest.
- 21:50Speaker 5: We don't have the resources. Oh but he ended it
- 21:53Speaker 5: with it saying right now.
- 21:54Speaker 4: I mean that's fine, but like, how does this inspire
- 21:57Speaker 4: a coaching candidate to want to pick Arkansas.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I know the answer. It doesn't mmmmm hmm.
- 22:09Speaker 5: Major League Baseball playoffs yesterday, well, Andrew a little bit.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I am wildco wild Card rounds.
- 22:17Speaker 3: It's kind of good like office watching. I'm in the
- 22:19Speaker 3: office out of the TV and.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Like, yeah, playoff, well, yeah, playoff baseball is the best baseball.
- 22:26Speaker 5: Tiger's up on the Guardians now I want to lead
- 22:29Speaker 5: in that series. Cubs up on the padres One, red
- 22:33Speaker 5: Sox up on the Yankees, want to know, and the
- 22:38Speaker 5: Dodgers up on the Reds.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I mean the Dodgers are the Yeah, they're inevitable. I
- 22:46Speaker 1: mean Shoo Tawyu record breaking home runs. The Yankees are
- 22:52Speaker 1: just struggling with their bullpen. And I was telling y'all
- 22:55Speaker 1: during the break that Scone was like kind of rubbing
- 22:58Speaker 1: it in Musso's face last night when I came in
- 23:01Speaker 1: to do the hand cast because the Yankees had just scored,
- 23:04Speaker 1: and I'm like, I'm not They're gonna blow it, and
- 23:06Speaker 1: they did. Aaron Boone always finds a way to er. Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 1: Aaron Boone always finds a way to jacket up. The
- 23:14Speaker 1: bullpen struggling. It's yeah, but I mean the Tigers two
- 23:19Speaker 1: years in a row, that they're they're really.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Making it deep into the players are hitting.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Yeah, Scooball is like insanely good too. He had like,
- 23:31Speaker 1: what thirteen plus strikeouts yesterday?
- 23:34Speaker 2: Yeah, like he was one of those guys if he
- 23:36Speaker 2: didn't have eight strikeouts every start, You're like, what's going
- 23:38Speaker 2: on with him today?
- 23:41Speaker 5: Hey, how's it got doing? I got hit in the face,
- 23:43Speaker 5: anybody know who? I don't know if that's good. I
- 23:45Speaker 5: think he's I think he's not deviate except them.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Probably fourteen strikeouts for Scooball yesterday.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Yeah, slight work, your your favorite. Matt probably a mouth
- 23:53Speaker 3: breather for a little ball. I don't know.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not following the MLB playoffs because as the
- 23:59Speaker 2: chat let me know, uh, y'all know, I'm a Atlanta
- 24:01Speaker 2: Braves fan and they didn't make the postseason. And Brian
- 24:06Speaker 2: Snicker is actually no longer going to be the manager
- 24:09Speaker 2: of the team that just came across the wire him
- 24:12Speaker 2: to snit Snitzer, They're going to move him to an
- 24:18Speaker 2: advisory role within the front offic Do we know. I
- 24:23Speaker 2: have hopes. I would love for it to be Walt Weiss. Yeah, Chipper,
- 24:28Speaker 2: friend of the show, let friend of the show.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Let Larry Wayne Jones Junior become the manager of the Braves.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Bro We'll be out. We will be on the top
- 24:37Speaker 3: of the dugout doing the show.
- 24:38Speaker 5: We're actually gonna uh off the bench brought to you
- 24:41Speaker 5: by the Dugout.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Brought to you about the Atlanta Braves Broadcasting. I can't
- 24:47Speaker 3: say that.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Yeah, not a professional all right, I got one for us.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Lamar Jackson will all but certainly miss Sunday's game. Sounds
- 24:56Speaker 4: like you can miss two to three weeks due to
- 24:58Speaker 4: a hamstring and Cooper Rush is their backup. Who's a
- 25:02Speaker 4: pretty good backup? Yeah, back, But the Ravens are one
- 25:05Speaker 4: in three right now. You play the Texans on Sunday
- 25:08Speaker 4: at home. Cooper Rush can beat the Texans. They're awful,
- 25:11Speaker 4: although they did just get their first win. I don't
- 25:14Speaker 4: think you're beating the La Rams without Lamar Jackson, which
- 25:17Speaker 4: means you would have to beat the Chicago Bears, because
- 25:20Speaker 4: if you start one in five, ye your season is done.
- 25:24Speaker 3: That's it.
- 25:25Speaker 4: With Lamar coming back after not playing for three weeks,
- 25:28Speaker 4: that's a tough look, right, dude, like that, that's a
- 25:30Speaker 4: tough ass for Cooper Rush. You got to go too,
- 25:32Speaker 4: and one in your next three games. They're one in
- 25:34Speaker 4: three now.
- 25:35Speaker 5: Yeah, this is the right move though, to sit him
- 25:38Speaker 5: because he hasn't looked right we're talking about he's not
- 25:40Speaker 5: out running defensive line. He's taking a lot of satellite.
- 25:43Speaker 5: It's just not the normal Lamar. And if they want
- 25:46Speaker 5: a chance at it, yeah, you got to sacrifice. Hopefully
- 25:49Speaker 5: Cooper Rush can hold on to a couple of games
- 25:52Speaker 5: like then make a run with a with a fully
- 25:54Speaker 5: completely Lamar.
- 25:55Speaker 3: But he hadn't played. He hadn't played like mister Jackson.
- 25:58Speaker 4: No, like people want him. Do you get out outside
- 26:01Speaker 4: of the pocket right now? Which is a wild thing
- 26:02Speaker 4: to say.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Right there. He doesn't look.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Fast, he doesn't look decisive. He's hesitating. It's not great.
- 26:09Speaker 4: He ain't the only one injured either.
- 26:10Speaker 3: They got all.
- 26:11Speaker 4: They've got a pretty decent injury list right now.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Yep, last thing unless somebody else has something. Of course,
- 26:19Speaker 5: this is a quick one. We don't even really talked
- 26:20Speaker 5: about too much. I just saw this. James Franklin, head
- 26:24Speaker 5: coach of Penn State, still that decision to wear the
- 26:27Speaker 5: blue jerseys at the white Out four and twenty one
- 26:31Speaker 5: versus top ten opponents, and his tenure as a head
- 26:34Speaker 5: coach for the Nitney Lions. Four let me say it again,
- 26:40Speaker 5: four and twenty one versus top ten opponents as a
- 26:45Speaker 5: head coach.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Are I supposed to be shocked by this, but.
- 26:51Speaker 5: I don't care how bad you think they are. Their
- 26:54Speaker 5: record is that is still an alarming number.
- 27:00Speaker 3: They they even a broken clock is right two times
- 27:04Speaker 3: a day? Right? Yeah? And if you can behind, they
- 27:09Speaker 3: fall in love with them like in every all season.
- 27:11Speaker 3: I don't know, Like I kept saying, like, yeah, they're good.
- 27:13Speaker 2: They're gonna win probably ten games, but they're gonna lose
- 27:16Speaker 2: the two that are against the best.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Teams they play.
- 27:19Speaker 2: It's gonna be it's it's in almost absolutes, not quite
- 27:22Speaker 2: there because he has four wins, but pretty close. I mean,
- 27:29Speaker 2: at what point, like honestly, and I might be in
- 27:32Speaker 2: the minority here, but like Pennsy's probably been more consistent
- 27:38Speaker 2: than LSU over the last like wins wise, right, they
- 27:41Speaker 2: haven't had the downs, have had the downs that L's had.
- 27:45Speaker 2: I'd much rather be l s U where every seven
- 27:48Speaker 2: eight years I have it like a championship run and
- 27:52Speaker 2: my downs are a little bit lower than consistently being
- 27:54Speaker 2: ten and two in it meaning nothing and adding nothing
- 27:59Speaker 2: to your trophy case. I would much rather be LSU
- 28:02Speaker 2: or at least I have crystal balls in the trophy
- 28:04Speaker 2: came out they won. The last time they won a
- 28:07Speaker 2: national championship, I think me and Matt were one.
- 28:11Speaker 3: I think was it was it eighty six, it was
- 28:12Speaker 3: it was mid eighties. We were one. Y'all weren't even
- 28:15Speaker 3: in fault and y'ard grown. Somebody lost time. Somebody that
- 28:20Speaker 3: chat was like, well, how many of those losses were
- 28:22Speaker 3: at Vandy No. No. No.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Eighty six is a Penny State.
- 28:27Speaker 5: This is at the State of Pennsylvania State School, Penn State.
- 28:30Speaker 4: Well, think about it. Last year they played SMU Round one,
- 28:33Speaker 4: who a lot of people were iffy about. They beat
- 28:35Speaker 4: the crap at SMU, but oh, here comes Penn State.
- 28:38Speaker 4: They can't they can't hang in the second round when
- 28:40Speaker 4: they played the premier programs. This happened a year ago.
- 28:44Speaker 4: It's the same thing every.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Year, all right.
- 28:48Speaker 2: That was crop dusting, sports where we go around and
- 28:52Speaker 2: some national stories that maybe we won't find our way to,
- 28:56Speaker 2: you know, within the framework of the main topic points
- 29:00Speaker 2: of the show, but we might actually have to do
- 29:03Speaker 2: that every day because we want to make sure that
- 29:04Speaker 2: we hit on some of the stuff that is going
- 29:06Speaker 2: across the country.
- 29:07Speaker 3: The sports pros.
- 29:10Speaker 2: I was about to say many up said so, but
- 29:11Speaker 2: I don't think so. I don't think that's actually been
- 29:15Speaker 2: said very often. All Right, when we come back, we'll
- 29:17Speaker 2: have Dear Delandra look forward to that. But before we

- 32:12Speaker 2: listening and sending in a dear the Laundra question, where
- 32:19Speaker 2: do you go? Okay, my daughter just left for college
- 32:23Speaker 2: and the house feels so empty without her. Could you
- 32:26Speaker 2: play something uplifting to remind me that even though she's gone,
- 32:30Speaker 2: our bond is still strong.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Actually, that's like Harlowe was about to go to college.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Don't know, right, I don't know if there's something that's
- 32:43Speaker 1: like uplifting that I can Because you a feel good song, Okay,
- 32:50Speaker 1: we can do a feel good song, but like my
- 32:51Speaker 1: head just goes to like Kenny Chesney, like we're.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Gonna miss this, make it even sadder, you're gonna LANDI
- 33:02Speaker 3: you're really good at feel good songs. Five songs. So
- 33:09Speaker 3: Jonesy needs needs good.
- 33:11Speaker 2: He needs a little like maybe even if it's like
- 33:15Speaker 2: take my mind off the situation, right.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Like just a good vibe.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Daughters, yeah, or like maybe wonder.
- 33:27Speaker 1: But like if you want to take your mind off
- 33:29Speaker 1: of that and we want like a good vibe. Hold on,
- 33:34Speaker 1: let me think what's like a song? This song makes
- 33:38Speaker 1: me feel like everything is gonna be okay. You know what,
- 33:42Speaker 1: maybe it is.
- 33:43Speaker 2: It's gonna be okay, It's gonna be okayee, she's growing.
- 33:48Speaker 1: It is going to take some time, ye like, but

- 34:08Speaker 3: Okay, okay, I think this is great. Turn this John up.
- 34:17Speaker 1: It is gonna be okay. And you know what, she's
- 34:18Speaker 1: going on to college and she's gonna be better. And
- 34:22Speaker 1: you did your job as a parent. You know, she
- 34:24Speaker 1: felt confident enough to leave the nest and go to
- 34:28Speaker 1: a different I don't know, I guess a different city, state,
- 34:31Speaker 1: I don't know what.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Like with the way that he said it, it was
- 34:33Speaker 3: not in the same city.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Yeah, so because if it was, if it's a bad version,
- 34:38Speaker 2: she's at like u L it's like, oh my god,
- 34:41Speaker 2: it's like.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Right down the basin there.
- 34:42Speaker 1: But everything's gonna be all right.
- 34:45Speaker 5: That everybody who's a parent, it's just something that they're
- 34:48Speaker 5: gonna have to deal with at some point. You just
- 34:50Speaker 5: gotta hope that you've instilled the morals in them, the
- 34:54Speaker 5: difference to spot right from wrong, good and bad.
- 34:57Speaker 3: You gotta make sure they got to go live their life,
- 35:00Speaker 3: gotta spread their wings. Yeah, Harlow shall always be there
- 35:04Speaker 3: for if you're listening right now.
- 35:05Speaker 2: You're not allowed to go to college anywhere outside of
- 35:09Speaker 2: where I live, So, uh, to my four sons, I'll
- 35:13Speaker 2: give you a an hour and a half radius.
- 35:18Speaker 1: As someone that did it. It's uh, it's difficult, but
- 35:22Speaker 1: you get used to it, and both of y'all like you.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Just like straight up, yeah, what's awesome? From here?
- 35:30Speaker 1: Eight hours ish, I was maybe a little.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Less three forty five from home. Matthew was five five.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I guess like when I'm thinking with stops and stuff,
- 35:41Speaker 1: it ends up being like total eight hours, but probably
- 35:43Speaker 1: less than that. But uh, yeah, I mean it's it's
- 35:49Speaker 1: something like it's just again, you did your job as
- 35:52Speaker 1: a parent. She felt like she could go do that,
- 35:55Speaker 1: and uh, you should be prouch get.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Ricky said sad by Maroon five would make him walk
- 36:02Speaker 3: into a lake. Goodness, we're trying to cheer him up. Well,
- 36:06Speaker 3: maybe that's happened. Maybe he likes a lake. Maybe like
- 36:08Speaker 3: some man, I would suggest finding a hobby.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I'm saying, Like for yourself, what's your
- 36:16Speaker 1: next passion? Right? For me, it was very difficult because
- 36:20Speaker 1: I had like never left my family before. Like it
- 36:22Speaker 1: was like, yeah, I would get home six, stay in
- 36:25Speaker 1: the night at people's houses, and I was like, you
- 36:28Speaker 1: know what, I'm gonna leave super smart, and well now
- 36:31Speaker 1: look at you at a foxhole. So in the foxhole
- 36:34Speaker 1: and uh yeah, it just like both of y'all schedules,
- 36:37Speaker 1: y'all just got to fill it up, get used to it,

- 41:56Speaker 2: robot season.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Do y'all.
- 42:01Speaker 5: That they don't make pumpkins like they used to? I
- 42:04Speaker 5: feel like as soon as you carve a pumpkin and
- 42:07Speaker 5: make a jack O lanter, it's rotting within two days,
- 42:12Speaker 5: maybe three days. You don't get like we have to
- 42:14Speaker 5: wait till right before Halloween to carve our pumpkins. I
- 42:17Speaker 5: remember like growing up, we'd carve a pumpkin, it'd lasts
- 42:20Speaker 5: for weeks. I felt like, are they too genetically modified
- 42:25Speaker 5: to grow more pumpkins.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I couldn't tell you.
- 42:32Speaker 4: I don't think they make them like they used to.
- 42:33Speaker 3: They don't make pumpkins like they used to. Should we
- 42:36Speaker 3: have a carving contest?
- 42:39Speaker 5: I'm assuming there's something you could spray on them, but like,
- 42:44Speaker 5: come on, pumpkin makers, I guess you call those farmers.
- 42:50Speaker 5: Make them a little better. As soon as I cut
- 42:52Speaker 5: them up, carve them up, put a spooky face on it.
- 42:55Speaker 5: You spend a lot of time doing that, like you
- 42:57Speaker 5: gotta do it. You scoop it out, scoop the guts
- 42:59Speaker 5: out out. I like the I like to bake the
- 43:02Speaker 5: pumpkin seeds, a little season it on there. It's pretty good.
- 43:05Speaker 5: And then you spend the time you draw it out
- 43:07Speaker 5: with a little pin or a pencil. Then you punch
- 43:09Speaker 5: it out with a little pin, and you cut it
- 43:11Speaker 5: with a knife. You get a nice little candle or
- 43:14Speaker 5: an led D light. Now a lot of people doing
- 43:16Speaker 5: l D lights.
- 43:17Speaker 3: And you have money.
- 43:18Speaker 5: What you're getting for like two bucks on Amazon, they'll
- 43:20Speaker 5: deliver the same day. I wouldn't know, uh, but you
- 43:26Speaker 5: do that all of a sudden, you're trying so hard
- 43:34Speaker 5: two days. Pay extra into my wife orders something the
- 43:38Speaker 5: other day before seven am. It was there that afternoon
- 43:41Speaker 5: without paying extra. But if like you order okay, anyway,
- 43:46Speaker 5: made this jack of lantern and it was probably one
- 43:48Speaker 5: of my greatest pieces of work. Two days later, started
- 43:51Speaker 5: seeing black spots in the inside. Three days later, more
- 43:55Speaker 5: about four days later, sorry collapsing.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Were you keeping it?
- 43:59Speaker 5: I mean where else would I keep it? Keep it
- 44:01Speaker 5: on the front, right front, Yeah, front porch, right out
- 44:03Speaker 5: the door.
- 44:04Speaker 3: I think it's just too damn hot here.
- 44:05Speaker 4: That's that's what I'm saying. Like if it's a direct sunlight,
- 44:07Speaker 4: it's not direct sunlight. They just don't make them like
- 44:11Speaker 4: they used to. I think you're buying bad pumpkins.
- 44:14Speaker 3: Yeah, too many GMOs.
- 44:16Speaker 2: You know what you get from pumpkins, probably rouses. Probably
- 44:20Speaker 2: they got some good punkin as well.
- 44:22Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't pumpkins.
- 44:24Speaker 5: Pumpkins, big, big pumpkin is controlling the chemicals used feel
- 44:27Speaker 5: like it. I wish they'd fix it, because I'd like
- 44:31Speaker 5: to have a jack lantern for half the month a last.
- 44:33Speaker 5: I can only get it for half a week now, Unreal.
- 44:38Speaker 2: I didn't know you're so passionate about pumpkins, and I
- 44:40Speaker 2: like the Jack Lanner. It's fun, sounds like it feels
- 44:43Speaker 2: like it. Hey, we love you, we thank you, look
- 44:45Speaker 2: forward to seeing you again tomorrow, same time, same place.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Enjoy the rest of your day. The Bench
