Tomas Nido, the Mets’ reliable backup catcher turned minor league veteran, is back in the game—this time with the Boston Red Sox organization on a minor league deal. After being released by the Tigers in late July, Nido, 32, heads to Triple-A Worcester to add depth behind the plate.
