- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven R.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hey, not bad today, it'll be a near forty. It's
- 0:11Speaker 2: going to be in the fifties this week. That's good news.
- 0:13Speaker 2: We got a lot to get to today. There's a
- 0:15Speaker 2: lot of things going on. We'll get to Maduro and
- 0:18Speaker 2: all the latest. We'll get to Mamdani and all the
- 0:21Speaker 2: bad news. We'll we'll get to Marty Supreme, remind me
- 0:25Speaker 2: to talk about that. We'll get the Frank Sinatra coming up.
- 0:27Speaker 2: We'll get to MS now they're looking more and more
- 0:33Speaker 2: pathetic now that NBC threw them the hell out. We'll
- 0:37Speaker 2: get to Wegmans. We'll get to Jimmy Kimmel. We got
- 0:40Speaker 2: lots to get to today. Hey, this just happened about
- 0:44Speaker 2: an hour ago. It looks like a congressman has died.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I forgot the name. It's not a name of it
- 0:50Speaker 2: even know. He's a California Congressman House of Representatives. But
- 0:54Speaker 2: the problem is he was one of the few Republicans
- 0:57Speaker 2: in California, so he's a Republican congressman. He's apparently it's
- 1:01Speaker 2: been confirmed he's dead. Now that means the Democratic governor
- 1:07Speaker 2: will appoint a Democrat to take that seat until they
- 1:09Speaker 2: can have an election. Now, the problem is Republicans in
- 1:12Speaker 2: the House of Representatives I think are right on the border.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I can't these other people have left. You know, there
- 1:20Speaker 2: are a couple of empty seats right now. I think Republicans
- 1:22Speaker 2: are down to two hundred and eighteen in the House.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Would put them right on the border, the absolute borderlines.
- 1:28Speaker 2: If they lose anything, they lose control of the House.
- 1:32Speaker 2: That's why this congressman dying this morning very crucial to
- 1:35Speaker 2: the Republicans. It would mean Mike Johnson wouldn't be Speaker anymore.
- 1:39Speaker 2: It would mean if Democrats take control, you'd have an
- 1:41Speaker 2: impeachment every month. You remember, in Trump's first term, they
- 1:45Speaker 2: would impeach him every year in the spring. Every spring impeachment.
- 1:50Speaker 2: This would be every month. Obviously they would start with
- 1:53Speaker 2: Maduro and Venezuela. That would be their first impeachment thing,
- 1:57Speaker 2: and then they would impeach him over Epstein. He would
- 2:00Speaker 2: impeach him over January six Oh, he can't do it.
- 2:03Speaker 2: They already did January sixth. That didn't go anywhere. But
- 2:06Speaker 2: they'll find something every month. Now Maduro in court pleaded
- 2:10Speaker 2: not guilty. You know they set the next court date.
- 2:13Speaker 2: He was in court yesterday. When's the next day comes
- 2:15Speaker 2: to court? March seventh, that's two months away. That means
- 2:20Speaker 2: he sits in jail for two months in that Brooklyn
- 2:24Speaker 2: Correctional Center. They don't seem to trust the Manhattan Correctional
- 2:27Speaker 2: Center anymore. That's where they put Jeffrey Epstein and he
- 2:30Speaker 2: got dead in there. I was going to say he
- 2:32Speaker 2: got murdered in there. Well, we'll see, and they ruled
- 2:36Speaker 2: it officially a suicide, but who knows. But they don't
- 2:41Speaker 2: seem to trust it anymore. So they now keep the
- 2:43Speaker 2: prisoners in the Brooklyn Detention Center, the US Attorney Southern District.
- 2:47Speaker 2: That's where they kept p. Diddy, and that's where they
- 2:50Speaker 2: kept Gallay Maxwell, and this is where they're keeping Maduro.
- 2:54Speaker 2: He's got lawyers that have been appointed for him and
- 2:58Speaker 2: he's going to plead not guilty. But there's evidence, I
- 3:01Speaker 2: mean physical evidence. There's a text back and forth. They'll
- 3:05Speaker 2: prove he was involved hands on with the narco drug trafficking.
- 3:11Speaker 2: The terror. Narco terrorism is what it was. He'll be
- 3:13Speaker 2: charged with that. He will be convicted now. And if
- 3:19Speaker 2: he's claiming that he is still the leader of Venezuela.
- 3:24Speaker 2: That's kind of well. Here's the legal expert, Jonathan Turley.
- 3:26Speaker 3: His statement in court was remarkable that he's still the
- 3:29Speaker 3: president of his country. You would think that the prison
- 3:32Speaker 3: jump suit would disabuse him of that concept. But I
- 3:37Speaker 3: certainly over fifty countries around the world would not accept that,
- 3:41Speaker 3: and I don't think the court will either.
- 3:43Speaker 2: You See, if you want to sound smart like a
- 3:45Speaker 2: Jonathan Turley, you use words like that. You don't say
- 3:48Speaker 2: he claimed he was still the president, which makes him
- 3:50Speaker 2: sound nuts. You say the jumpsuit would disabuse him of that.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Throw that word in now, and then disabuse him. Here's
- 3:57Speaker 2: more of a Turley. Now, remember you're going to hear
- 4:00Speaker 2: all these democrats and all the fake news talking heads
- 4:05Speaker 2: tell you this was an illegal operation. This is unheard
- 4:08Speaker 2: of to go into a country seasonally. It's done all
- 4:10Speaker 2: the time. It's been done many times. We arrested Noriega.
- 4:14Speaker 2: You can talk lots of cases where this has happened,
- 4:17Speaker 2: and plenty of presidents have done things like this.
- 4:19Speaker 3: This is Norjega two point zero. I mean, he is
- 4:22Speaker 3: going to be arguing that he is still the head
- 4:24Speaker 3: of state and titled to immunity. I just that very
- 4:27Speaker 3: few people believe that's true, and he's in a worse
- 4:31Speaker 3: position than Noriega. So I expect that they're going to
- 4:35Speaker 3: stick the landing on this. They're gonna this is going
- 4:38Speaker 3: to go to trial, and he stands an excellent chance
- 4:41Speaker 3: of being convicted.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll just repeat the whole Noriega thing. They hear
- 4:45Speaker 2: the Democrats. If you watch Rachel Maddow or any of
- 4:47Speaker 2: those shows, you know, Jake Tapper, you know, if you're
- 4:49Speaker 2: just watching, they look like very serious, very knowledgeable people,
- 4:53Speaker 2: but they're like crazy partisans. And though if you watch
- 4:57Speaker 2: these shows, they'll tell you things like, well, I've done
- 4:59Speaker 2: quick violation of international law, international law. What the hell
- 5:05Speaker 2: is nobody's ever heard of this international law. There is
- 5:07Speaker 2: no international law that we have to follow. He's more
- 5:10Speaker 2: of turly.
- 5:11Speaker 3: They have not only these these recordings that they say
- 5:14Speaker 3: show him taking an active role in the criminal enterprise,
- 5:18Speaker 3: but this wasn't just simply criminal enterprise.
- 5:20Speaker 4: This was a family enterprise.
- 5:22Speaker 3: And so you've got his son, his wife with facing
- 5:26Speaker 3: very strong evidence, but you also have high ranking former
- 5:30Speaker 3: associates who have pled guilty and they very well could
- 5:34Speaker 3: be cooperating witnesses, including the former head of military intelligence
- 5:39Speaker 3: in his country.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Yeah, so he's gotten no shot at beating this charge. Now,
- 5:45Speaker 2: normally you get in the right judge. You know, you're
- 5:47Speaker 2: left wing kook of a judge in Manhattan. But looks
- 5:50Speaker 2: like they got a good judge. I think he's ninety
- 5:52Speaker 2: five years old, this judge, but still on the bench.
- 5:53Speaker 3: And you have to go through these documents and one
- 5:56Speaker 3: of the defense counsel maybe two will be designated as
- 5:59Speaker 3: clear council, and they will sit in a metal room
- 6:02Speaker 3: called a skiff, and they will look through all of
- 6:05Speaker 3: these documents and they will file challenges. That's why this
- 6:09Speaker 3: isn't going to go anywhere for over a year as
- 6:11Speaker 3: they work through this stuff.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Now, that's why the next court date is March seventh,
- 6:16Speaker 2: and why they're waiting two months. There's a ton of evidence,
- 6:19Speaker 2: a ton of documents. They have to give his attorneys
- 6:22Speaker 2: plenty of time to go through all this stuff. And
- 6:24Speaker 2: as Turley says, it's probably going to be a year
- 6:27Speaker 2: long trial. This guy will spend the next year in
- 6:29Speaker 2: the Brooklyn Detention Center. Not good for him. Now, again,
- 6:34Speaker 2: if you're reading the New York Times or you watch
- 6:35Speaker 2: that MSNBCMS NOW whatever the hell they call it or CNN,
- 6:40Speaker 2: you don't know what the hell's going on. They give
- 6:41Speaker 2: you a little it's like the jigsaw puzzle. To give
- 6:43Speaker 2: you two pieces. That's it, that's all you get. Leave
- 6:47Speaker 2: out all the other three hundred pieces, so you never
- 6:50Speaker 2: get the whole picture. They never point out to you
- 6:54Speaker 2: that every Democrat, every major Democrat, Biden, Schumer, of the
- 7:00Speaker 2: War and anybody can name, have been screaming and screaming
- 7:03Speaker 2: for years to get rid of Maduro, that he's a
- 7:06Speaker 2: war criminal, he's a narco terrorist. He must be eliminated.
- 7:10Speaker 2: You have to get rid of him. They've all been
- 7:12Speaker 2: calling for getting rid of Maduro. When the Biden administration
- 7:16Speaker 2: was in power or the Obama administration all talked about
- 7:19Speaker 2: getting this guy, getting rid of him. Of course it's Democrats.
- 7:22Speaker 2: They just talk. They don't actually do anything. Hey, here's
- 7:25Speaker 2: Biden has been doing this for longer than anyway. This
- 7:27Speaker 2: is forty years ago. Listen to Biden.
- 7:29Speaker 5: Way back then, for the first time, we were fighting
- 7:32Speaker 5: and losing the war on our own soil. Let's go
- 7:35Speaker 5: after the drug lords where they live with an international
- 7:40Speaker 5: strike force.
- 7:41Speaker 2: There must be no safe haven for.
- 7:43Speaker 5: These narco terrorists, and they must know it.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Now here's an interesting question. Why would you become a
- 7:52Speaker 2: drug lord? Why would you get involved in drugs? You
- 7:54Speaker 2: ever watched that show Breaking Bad? Better call Saul gus Fring,
- 7:59Speaker 2: who's the one the Salamancas. When you look at that,
- 8:03Speaker 2: do you say, I'd like to be like I'd like
- 8:05Speaker 2: to live like them. They're living out in the middle
- 8:07Speaker 2: of the desert. Looks like the dirtiest business. Why would
- 8:09Speaker 2: you want to get involved in that? Well? Money, if
- 8:12Speaker 2: you're in the middle of Mexico. How else you going
- 8:15Speaker 2: to make hundreds of millions of dollars except in the
- 8:17Speaker 2: drug business. It's money that leads into hi But but
- 8:21Speaker 2: now here's the thing about Maduro. He's running Venezuela. Venezuela
- 8:26Speaker 2: has twenty percent of the world's oil it has. It's
- 8:30Speaker 2: sitting right now on three hundred billion barrels of oil.
- 8:35Speaker 2: There's seventeen trillion dollars in oil in Venezuela. Why didn't
- 8:41Speaker 2: he just use that? He let the whole oil industry crumble,
- 8:45Speaker 2: dry up, the infrastructure to pump the oil all decay.
- 8:49Speaker 2: All he had to do was bring that back fix
- 8:52Speaker 2: the infrastructure, and start pumping oil. He could have been
- 8:54Speaker 2: the biggest oil baron in the world. You see those
- 8:57Speaker 2: Saudis with the palaces in the garage with five million
- 9:02Speaker 2: rolls royces that he could be bigger than these guys.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Why did he become a narco terrorist when he could
- 9:06Speaker 2: have been the biggest oil bearing around. Now we'll go
- 9:10Speaker 2: in there and fix the infrastructure, get the oil pumping
- 9:14Speaker 2: again again. Seventeen trillion trillion in oil is sitting there.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Venezuela could be one of the wealthiest, most successful countries
- 9:24Speaker 2: in the world. Now we got to get the American
- 9:26Speaker 2: oil companies to go in there. They're not going to
- 9:28Speaker 2: be too crazy about doing this because it looks like
- 9:30Speaker 2: it could be some kind of dangerous war zone. But
- 9:33Speaker 2: once they get it stabilized. Now you're also going to
- 9:37Speaker 2: watch all these democrats ye all about Trump campaigned about
- 9:41Speaker 2: the endless wars, no boots on the ground, none of it. Well,
- 9:44Speaker 2: there's no hit that he's ever going to do anything
- 9:46Speaker 2: like that. This was just a quick three hour operation
- 9:49Speaker 2: in out seize the leader. And one reason this was
- 9:52Speaker 2: done is Grenada. You remember when Ronald Reagan took office
- 9:58Speaker 2: in his first year. Towards the end of his first year,
- 10:02Speaker 2: he did the same exact sort of thing. We invaded
- 10:05Speaker 2: this little tiny island of Grenada. A bunch of American
- 10:09Speaker 2: medical students had been captured and were being held hostage.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Reagan did the same thing. It was a quick just
- 10:15Speaker 2: a few hours on the ground. American military went in
- 10:19Speaker 2: there and just attacked the building where they were being held,
- 10:25Speaker 2: extracted these medical students, got them out of there real fast.
- 10:28Speaker 2: It was an incredible military operation. The reason that Reagan
- 10:33Speaker 2: did that is he took over from a president who
- 10:36Speaker 2: was just horrible with the military. Jimmy Carter had turned
- 10:40Speaker 2: our military into a worldwide embarrassment. They were out of parts,
- 10:43Speaker 2: the weapons weren't working, everything was old, outdated number. Carter
- 10:48Speaker 2: even tried to rescue our hostages in Iran and the
- 10:51Speaker 2: helicopters couldn't even land right. They crashed. Everybody got killed.
- 10:54Speaker 2: It was a disaster. And the same thing with Biden.
- 10:57Speaker 2: He let the military decay, the equipment decay. He tried
- 11:01Speaker 2: the Afghanistan withdrawal, and it was like a Jimmy Carter operation,
- 11:04Speaker 2: total disaster. People got killed, just humiliating, embarrassing. So we
- 11:09Speaker 2: had to get our reputation back and go back to
- 11:14Speaker 2: being impressive militarily to the world. So this was Grenada,
- 11:18Speaker 2: That's what this was for. It was a demonstration for China, Russia,
- 11:24Speaker 2: Iran because China, Russia, it didn't claim to have an
- 11:27Speaker 2: incredible military, but they don't. We've seen Russia in Ukraine
- 11:32Speaker 2: and all Russia's got is a little ragtag army with
- 11:36Speaker 2: drunken kids that can't fight. They don't have a proper equipment,
- 11:39Speaker 2: they don't even have night vision. Where pretty sure that
- 11:43Speaker 2: China is the same thing. It looks like a big,
- 11:45Speaker 2: big military, but they've never been battle tested and they'll
- 11:48Speaker 2: probably be as bad as Russia. So it's a demonstration
- 11:51Speaker 2: to the other countries that we have incredible military capability.
- 11:56Speaker 2: We're back. This operation in the middle of the night
- 12:00Speaker 2: to go into the palace there and seize Maduro was
- 12:05Speaker 2: incredibly detailed. Do you know. They built an exact replica
- 12:08Speaker 2: of his residence, which means they knew exactly what his
- 12:13Speaker 2: residents looked like in every detail. They had people on
- 12:15Speaker 2: the inside. So they built a replica, a complete replica
- 12:19Speaker 2: of his residence, and they trained in that for months.
- 12:23Speaker 2: They also went in there. I mean the skill of
- 12:25Speaker 2: these guys. You know, they used to say Pete Heggsath
- 12:28Speaker 2: is the most unqualified, the least qualified a defense secretary.
- 12:32Speaker 2: The guy has run flawlessly, run the most incredible military
- 12:36Speaker 2: operations for the last year, from the taking out of
- 12:38Speaker 2: Iran's nuclear reactors to the going after the oil tankers.
- 12:42Speaker 2: I mean this one. To run this, you got to
- 12:45Speaker 2: give this guy credit as one of the most successful
- 12:47Speaker 2: defense secretaries ever. But to get to that residence, they
- 12:52Speaker 2: had to take out all the military bases, knock out
- 12:54Speaker 2: all the electricity, They shut down all the lights in
- 12:57Speaker 2: the city. The stuff that went on was unbelievable, the
- 13:01Speaker 2: whole operation, from the moment they went in. Three hours
- 13:05Speaker 2: later they got Maduro on the deck of an American
- 13:09Speaker 2: warship out at sea and they're taking them away. So
- 13:12Speaker 2: it was an incredible operation. It's a big demonstration too Russia,
- 13:17Speaker 2: China and Iran. And don't think the message was received
- 13:21Speaker 2: loud and clear. So uh, Mom, Donnie, oh oh, Mom, Donnie.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Now he uh. There was a terrible rumor yesterday that
- 13:31Speaker 2: he had demoted the police Commissioner Jessica Tish everybody likes her,
- 13:34Speaker 2: that she would now report to the first deputy mayor,
- 13:37Speaker 2: not to him. He corrected that, he said, it's not true.
- 13:40Speaker 4: My police commissioner will continue to report directly to me.
- 13:44Speaker 4: My police commissioner, just like my school's chancellor will report
- 13:46Speaker 4: directly to me. The executive order is in terms of
- 13:51Speaker 4: the question of coordination, this is reporting continues to be directly.
- 13:54Speaker 2: To the mayor. Yeah, I don't know how that's good
- 14:00Speaker 2: according to this guy. This guy's got they've never had
- 14:02Speaker 2: a job in his life. He's twelve years old. You're
- 14:04Speaker 2: reporting that at least that first deputy mayor might be
- 14:07Speaker 2: another left wing cook. But he'd been a deputy mayor
- 14:09Speaker 2: before under Deblasio. But so, mom, Donnie. You know the
- 14:14Speaker 2: other thing which is weird. He talks about affordability. He
- 14:16Speaker 2: wants to have free buses, he wants to freeze to rent.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Everything's bringing the prices down, affordability. Yet when it comes
- 14:22Speaker 2: to this congestion pricing, the guy loves it. Hochel, mom, Donnie,
- 14:27Speaker 2: yesterday celebrating the one year anniversary of congestion pricing. It's
- 14:31Speaker 2: a tax on people. Everybody has to pay it. Everybody
- 14:36Speaker 2: you're paying, even though you're saying, well, I don't have
- 14:38Speaker 2: a car, you're still paying the congestion pricing because every
- 14:43Speaker 2: form of transportation from a cab to an uber has
- 14:45Speaker 2: a price increase as a result. And everything you buy
- 14:48Speaker 2: in every store in Midtown Manhattan there's a price increase
- 14:52Speaker 2: because the trucks pay enormous congestion pricing fees and that's
- 14:56Speaker 2: added into the price. But here he was celebrating.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Congestion price is a program that has been successful, no
- 15:03Speaker 4: matter how you measure it. We all understood the imperatives
- 15:06Speaker 4: of dreaming of a different kind of streetscape in this city.
- 15:10Speaker 2: The hell's he talking about? What is a streetscape? Were
- 15:16Speaker 2: you dreaming of a different street scape? You know? I
- 15:18Speaker 2: was kind of dreaming of the old one where it's
- 15:19Speaker 2: just cars. Now you can't cross the street without looking
- 15:22Speaker 2: six ways. You gotta wait, Is there a scooter? An
- 15:25Speaker 2: electric bike? Is there one of those petty cat You're
- 15:28Speaker 2: gonna get hit by anything and everything in every direction.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Hokel loves this congestion pricing, And yes, the cameras are
- 15:35Speaker 2: staying on.
- 15:39Speaker 6: But now, my friends, the results are extraordinary.
- 15:47Speaker 2: They convinced themselves of this nonsense. Now she did say
- 15:50Speaker 2: there is a price increase coming but it's twenty twenty eight.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Here's the good news. Bruce Blakeman will be the governor
- 15:58Speaker 2: and he'll take office in jan twenty twenty seven. And
- 16:01Speaker 2: I'm sure the first thing he'll work on is getting
- 16:04Speaker 2: rid of congestion pricing. It's absolutely ridiculous. You want to
- 16:07Speaker 2: ease congestion. Put the street back the way it was
- 16:10Speaker 2: with four lanes. Now it's like one lane, one lanes
- 16:13Speaker 2: of parking lane, one lanes, a bike lane, one lanes,
- 16:15Speaker 2: a petty cab lane, one lanes a scooter. Put the
- 16:18Speaker 2: street back the way it was. This congestion because you
- 16:22Speaker 2: took two thirds of the street away on every street.
- 16:25Speaker 2: They we'll get to Tim Waltz. Why did he drop out?
- 16:28Speaker 2: My daughter is saying the family was getting attacked left
- 16:32Speaker 2: and right, and his political career is over. He announced
- 16:36Speaker 2: yesterday he's not running.
- 16:37Speaker 7: I'm passing on this race with zero sadness and zero regret.
- 16:41Speaker 7: I did not run for this job to have the job.
- 16:45Speaker 7: I ran for the job to do the job.
- 16:47Speaker 2: The hell is he talking about? Now? You got to
- 16:50Speaker 2: give him credit for a guy with an IQ of
- 16:54Speaker 2: ninety maybe name eighty maybe eighty, goofy, silly looking guy
- 17:01Speaker 2: not very intelligent. Look where he got, you got to
- 17:04Speaker 2: give him credit. Now, they've got to be governor of
- 17:06Speaker 2: a state. You got to be the vice presidential nominee.
- 17:09Speaker 2: If a guy with no brains and no talent, you
- 17:11Speaker 2: got to give him credit for that. Now, what happens,
- 17:14Speaker 2: who's going to run for governor of Minnesota. Well, our
- 17:18Speaker 2: old buddy, Mike Lindell, my pillow is as announced he's
- 17:23Speaker 2: running for governor. He's one of the biggest, biggest businessmen
- 17:26Speaker 2: in Minnesota. So now here's the bad news. There looks
- 17:30Speaker 2: like they're going to try to throw somebody strong against him,
- 17:34Speaker 2: a big Democrat like Amy Klobucher. The Senators now talking
- 17:37Speaker 2: about entering the race, so they'll put up a big candidate.
- 17:40Speaker 2: They actually think Lindell has a great shot. Remember, Minnesota
- 17:45Speaker 2: goes for those kind of non political types like a
- 17:47Speaker 2: Jesse Ventura. So this will get interesting. Hey, we'll take
- 17:50Speaker 2: some calls. Next eight hundred three to two one zero
- 17:53Speaker 2: seven ten. Is the number, eight hundred three to two
- 17:56Speaker 2: one zero seven ten.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Give w bri said on the iHeartRadio app to hear
- 18:02Speaker 1: Mark Simone and all the wr hosts in an instead.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simon Show on wo R.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Robert in
- 18:18Speaker 2: West Center. Robert, how you doing well?
- 18:22Speaker 8: Thank you very much, and happy pie, Tiffany. Mark is
- 18:25Speaker 8: so on the on the money with Pete hegsett the
- 18:28Speaker 8: raid with the Hooties, the bombing of Iran and then
- 18:31Speaker 8: now this raid demand so far he's three and oh
- 18:35Speaker 8: he's flawless. He's doing a great job. But the funniest
- 18:39Speaker 8: thing yesterday was with that idiot Wandonie when he said
- 18:42Speaker 8: I have to call the president and chastise him. Could
- 18:45Speaker 8: you imagine the White House? They probably put him on
- 18:47Speaker 8: hold for like an hour. Is the president? This guy's
- 18:49Speaker 8: on the line. You wanted to take a call?
- 18:52Speaker 2: No, no, no, I know how Trump Panalty's I've watched
- 18:54Speaker 2: him for about thirty years. When an idiot's on the phone,
- 18:59Speaker 2: he's rolling his eyes at everybody in the room, like
- 19:02Speaker 2: pointing at the phone and making faces. But when he's
- 19:05Speaker 2: on the phone actually talking to he said, he just
- 19:08Speaker 2: knows how to button them up. And he said, yeah,
- 19:10Speaker 2: I really want your opinion on this. Yeah, let me
- 19:12Speaker 2: know what you think. Well, that's coming from you, that's
- 19:14Speaker 2: very h that's good. Advice. It's very important. And then
- 19:16Speaker 2: he's rolling his eyes for everybody in the room, holding
- 19:19Speaker 2: the phone away from his head and making faces. And
- 19:23Speaker 2: now he I'm sure he said it to the end.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. Yeah, anytime you got any thought, Yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 2: call me, call me. Keep in till you got my number, right, Well, yeah,
- 19:31Speaker 2: keep calling me. He's very good at that. Remember, a
- 19:35Speaker 2: big part of his life is being a salesman. I mean,
- 19:37Speaker 2: besides building an empire and building one hundred stories skyscrapers
- 19:41Speaker 2: all over the world, I mean, you got to be
- 19:42Speaker 2: a hell of a salesman. He's great with that stuff.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Let's go to Harriet in Brooklyn. Harriet, how you doing.
- 19:49Speaker 6: Oh, it's the pleasure speaking with you.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Mark.
- 19:50Speaker 6: You're the best. Mark. We got to get Blakeman. And however,
- 19:56Speaker 6: if there is a watchman on the wall, if there
- 19:59Speaker 6: is continued voting without voter ID, there's no way that
- 20:05Speaker 6: he's going to beat these communists.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Well, actually you can. There is cheating with that no
- 20:10Speaker 2: voter idea and all that stuff, but usually you got
- 20:12Speaker 2: to get like an extra seven percent to overcome the cheating.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Blakeman is going to be great at this. First of all,
- 20:19Speaker 2: he's the only one qualified to be governor. He actually
- 20:21Speaker 2: is a governor right now. That's what he does in
- 20:23Speaker 2: Nasau County. It's basically the governor of Nasau County. He's
- 20:26Speaker 2: done a phenomenal job, best county executive in America. Nobody
- 20:31Speaker 2: more qualified than Blakeman to be governor. Now you might say, then, well,
- 20:34Speaker 2: what is he good as a candidate. He has been
- 20:37Speaker 2: brilliant on social media the last week. The last week
- 20:42Speaker 2: he has just check his social media every day. He's
- 20:44Speaker 2: got videos up of him. He went to Buffalo to
- 20:47Speaker 2: go to the Buffalo Bill's game. That looks good. You know,
- 20:49Speaker 2: you got to win these upstate voters. He went to
- 20:51Speaker 2: a diner, then he went to this place that's a
- 20:53Speaker 2: great Italian restaurant in Buffalo. You would think this guy's
- 20:56Speaker 2: lived in Buffalo all his life. He's great at this stuff.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Pretty amazing stuff. Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel,
- 21:03Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 21:05Speaker 9: Good morning, Mark, welcome back. It's a highpothetical question. Where
- 21:09Speaker 9: do you see New York City one year from today?
- 21:14Speaker 2: Right here, right next to Long Island, right below west Chester.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Where would I see it?
- 21:18Speaker 9: Being I mean under Mandami? Where do you see New
- 21:21Speaker 9: York City one year from today.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Well go back to Doublasio and look at one year
- 21:25Speaker 2: into his first term, and it's the same thing. This
- 21:28Speaker 2: is going to be de Blasio third term. It's just
- 21:30Speaker 2: going to be more Deblasio. He's in fact, it's the
- 21:32Speaker 2: same exact people, same deputy mayors, same commissioners. Although he
- 21:37Speaker 2: does find it's the same thing with the Blaso. You know,
- 21:40Speaker 2: you look at who we appointed. This is when he pointed,
- 21:44Speaker 2: I'll find it. He just appointed somebody to some position,
- 21:46Speaker 2: like a real left wing whacka. But that's exactly what
- 21:50Speaker 2: Deblasio kept doing, the same exact thing. Now, let me
- 21:53Speaker 2: just clear up one thing about the fire commissioner all
- 21:58Speaker 2: hell broke Loues. He appointed a fire commissioner with no
- 22:00Speaker 2: fire department experience. That's perfectly normal. Half our fire commissioner's
- 22:04Speaker 2: never had any fire department experience. Every mayor at some
- 22:09Speaker 2: point appoints at fire commissioner who had never ever been
- 22:12Speaker 2: involved in the fire department. The last fire commissioner at
- 22:15Speaker 2: Robert Tucker was great. The guy was phenomenal. No experience
- 22:19Speaker 2: with the fire department and he was great at it.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Who had caught your point Charles Hines, very respected guy
- 22:28Speaker 2: in New York politics. Never had any experience of the
- 22:30Speaker 2: fire department. He was fire commissioner before Robert Johnson at
- 22:36Speaker 2: Tucker Robert Tucker. Last fire commissioner with no experience who
- 22:40Speaker 2: was before him Laura Kavanaugh, who was pretty good, no
- 22:43Speaker 2: experience at all. Laura had never been anywhere near a
- 22:46Speaker 2: fire department and it was actually Obama that got her
- 22:49Speaker 2: the job. Called up Eric Adams and got her the job.
- 22:53Speaker 2: She was pretty good without any experience. You could name
- 22:56Speaker 2: half the fire commissioners. Howard Safer was a great fire commissioner.
- 22:59Speaker 2: No experience, none, as in the fire department. So it's
- 23:04Speaker 2: perfectly normal. Let's go to sal in Long Island. Sal.
- 23:07Speaker 10: How you doing Hi, Good morning, Mark.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Yes, Mark.
- 23:11Speaker 10: I was having an idea and was a little bit radical.
- 23:14Speaker 10: But with the violent crime we having in the cities
- 23:17Speaker 10: where guns and knives are prevalent and people are getting
- 23:20Speaker 10: seriously hurt or killed, there should be a punishment or
- 23:23Speaker 10: a deterrent for the person with the gun and knife.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we had all that stuff. Mandatory jail if
- 23:29Speaker 2: you have it. We had all these tough gun laws.
- 23:31Speaker 2: You know, you go right to jail. With a gun.
- 23:32Speaker 2: If you use a gun and you had an extra
- 23:33Speaker 2: ten years, we had all that stuff. Thank Andrew Cuomo
- 23:36Speaker 2: for getting rid of all that stuff. He's the guy
- 23:38Speaker 2: that got rid of bail. It's Andrew Cuomo. You know,
- 23:41Speaker 2: no bail, no jail, close the prisons, drop all this
- 23:45Speaker 2: and him and the Democrats and the legislature and Democrats
- 23:49Speaker 2: all over in different cities, different states. They got rid
- 23:52Speaker 2: of all these things. In fact, even if you've been
- 23:56Speaker 2: picked up thirty seven times, if you come into court,
- 23:59Speaker 2: you remember used to three strikes in, you're out. You
- 24:01Speaker 2: could come in the court happens every day forty two
- 24:04Speaker 2: prior arrests. That judge lets you out. No bail, no jail,
- 24:07Speaker 2: thanks to Andrew Cuomo. Hey, when we come back Bill O'Reilly.
- 24:10Speaker 2: We haven't talked to him in a few weeks. He's
- 24:12Speaker 2: been away. I've been away. We'll talk to Bill O'Reilly
- 24:14Speaker 2: next on seven to ten w R listening to.
- 24:18Speaker 11: Mark the mow.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Well. Bill O'Reilly, number one TV anchor for decades, number
- 24:26Speaker 2: one best selling non fiction author on Earth. You know
- 24:29Speaker 2: watches the TV show, get his columns, the book. Everything
- 24:32Speaker 2: is at Bill O'Reilly dot COM's latest book, Confronting Evil,
- 24:35Speaker 2: a huge bestseller Bill O'Reilly dot com. But also make
- 24:39Speaker 2: sure you watch his YouTube channel. A lot of great
- 24:41Speaker 2: stuff there at Bill O'Reilly on YouTube. Bill O'Reilly.
- 24:44Speaker 12: How you doing, ah, Megan Josh, Happy new Year?
- 24:48Speaker 13: How are you good?
- 24:49Speaker 2: We haven't talked in a couple of weeks. So good.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Everybody's back. Not everybody's back. Tim Waltz is leaving, that's
- 24:56Speaker 2: good news. And Maduroz it's him.
- 25:01Speaker 12: Oh my god. You know, it's a when you look
- 25:05Speaker 12: at the whole landscape of the Democratic Party, it really
- 25:10Speaker 12: is a shambles. And the Republican Party isn't capitalizing on
- 25:17Speaker 12: the disarray within the opposition because of ego and you
- 25:23Speaker 12: know a lot of stuff that doesn't really matter. But
- 25:27Speaker 12: I've never seen the Democratic Party, and you know me,
- 25:30Speaker 12: I write about politics and history and all that in
- 25:33Speaker 12: worse shape than it's in now, you know what I mean.
- 25:36Speaker 12: Who's the leader of the party, Chuck Schumer. I mean,
- 25:41Speaker 12: just look at how he handled the Maduro thing. It's incomprehensible.
- 25:46Speaker 12: So Schumer in twenty twenty was mocking Trump when Trump
- 25:50Speaker 12: was running against Biden for not removing Maduro, mocking him well, removed,
- 25:59Speaker 12: you were going to do it, okay, and now he says, oh,
- 26:05Speaker 12: why you're removed, Maduro. I'm going Chuck, this is on videotape.
- 26:10Speaker 12: Do you have no idea? Do you have no idea
- 26:14Speaker 12: that what you say is then recorded for history? Apparently
- 26:17Speaker 12: Chuck does it. And now when he makes any statement
- 26:21Speaker 12: at all, he never lifts his head up. He's just
- 26:24Speaker 12: reading off of paper that somebody wrote for him, like Biden,
- 26:28Speaker 12: and I really think that, you know, I know he's
- 26:31Speaker 12: not going to run for reelection. That's what Cassio Korus says.
- 26:34Speaker 12: His seat and she'll win in crazy New York.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You know, I always ask you to explain this crazy
- 26:41Speaker 2: left wing kook behavior, but I think it's just they're
- 26:45Speaker 2: just childish. It's like a child, you know. They demand
- 26:48Speaker 2: something and if you tell them they have to have
- 26:49Speaker 2: it now, they don't want it. If you tell them
- 26:51Speaker 2: they can't have it now, they want it. Is it
- 26:53Speaker 2: really that simple? They're just childish.
- 26:55Speaker 12: I think it's all emotion, particularly if you're younger liberal
- 26:59Speaker 12: people well, and conservatives too. I'm working on a special
- 27:05Speaker 12: now for News Nation. I think it's going to happen
- 27:09Speaker 12: about the craziness within the far right. You know, they're
- 27:14Speaker 12: attacking each other and tearing each other pieces and doing
- 27:18Speaker 12: all that. And when you step back and you look
- 27:21Speaker 12: at what they're doing, it's all emotion. And I think
- 27:25Speaker 12: those who drives this extremism, and there's some profit in
- 27:28Speaker 12: it too, there's money in it. The crazier you get,
- 27:32Speaker 12: the more people pay attention, and the more money you
- 27:34Speaker 12: can potentially make if you want to do it the
- 27:38Speaker 12: other way and build up credibility. That takes time and patience.
- 27:42Speaker 12: And you know, these people are on social media. They
- 27:45Speaker 12: want to make money, so they toil their grenades and
- 27:48Speaker 12: then you know, our Halberd's loose.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the difference there's obviously a lot of
- 27:54Speaker 2: crazy far right kind of you know, Alex Jones type
- 27:57Speaker 2: of nonsense, but the real you know, Scott Bess and
- 28:01Speaker 2: Marco Rubio, they don't pay attention to that whole group,
- 28:04Speaker 2: whereas with the left they kind of all are together,
- 28:07Speaker 2: the crazies and the mainstreams.
- 28:09Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 28:09Speaker 12: The reason is that the left depends on the money
- 28:13Speaker 12: from the radicals like Soros and others, and the right doesn't.
- 28:20Speaker 12: That's the reason.
- 28:22Speaker 13: So there isn't.
- 28:22Speaker 12: Any kooky right wing group that funds individual politicians nearly
- 28:30Speaker 12: to the extent that the far left does. The Progressive
- 28:34Speaker 12: Communist movement a lot of money and they kick a
- 28:38Speaker 12: lot of money into campaigns. That's why Bragg is there,
- 28:45Speaker 12: That's why Letitia James is there, because they're far left
- 28:50Speaker 12: finance their campaigns. But you don't have that on the
- 28:53Speaker 12: conservative side.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Very interesting, that's a good explanation. Maduro will be convicted, obviously,
- 29:02Speaker 2: And so what happened at No Kings I thought it
- 29:04Speaker 2: was No Kings now they love this.
- 29:05Speaker 12: Guy, Yeah, but nobody loves him. That was just communist stuff.
- 29:11Speaker 12: Yesterday and a New York Posts really did a good
- 29:14Speaker 12: job and tracking that down who these nuts were supporting
- 29:19Speaker 12: Maduro and they found out that they were from a
- 29:21Speaker 12: far left group that sympathetic. I mean, you know, but
- 29:27Speaker 12: it's not a mass movement of a yeah we like Maduro,
- 29:30Speaker 12: I mean, even a liberal people they have to know
- 29:34Speaker 12: this guy's a human rights violator and he's a drug dealer.
- 29:38Speaker 12: Just today, just about a few moments ago, I got
- 29:42Speaker 12: a call from a European and they frozen all of
- 29:46Speaker 12: Maduro's counts in Switzerland. Well, what is he doing with
- 29:51Speaker 12: the counts in Switzerland. What is that his government pension? Sally,
- 29:58Speaker 12: he's a guy in Switzerland. Come on, the guy's a
- 30:01Speaker 12: dope dealer. It's like, oh no, don't remove the dope dealer. No, no,
- 30:10Speaker 12: you know I did that. And then they pivot to
- 30:13Speaker 12: and CNN.
- 30:14Speaker 13: Is the best of this.
- 30:15Speaker 12: I love them. I then become my favorite go to
- 30:18Speaker 12: now CNN. They're better than any sitcom I have ever
- 30:22Speaker 12: seen on television, with the possible exception of the Mary
- 30:25Speaker 12: Tyler Marshall. Okay, so you can just I just turned
- 30:30Speaker 12: over there. I know when they hear lunacy, but funny lunacy.
- 30:34Speaker 12: So they come on in here last night, you know,
- 30:36Speaker 12: all for our brows. Oh oh Trump, Yeah, it's illegal.
- 30:42Speaker 12: Oh well Pa, And then they put it into it.
- 30:45Speaker 12: Well what happens now? So I said, why don't you
- 30:49Speaker 12: bring on this, Cleo, get a little ball there. Who
- 30:52Speaker 12: knows what's gonna happen? All right, That's not why they
- 30:56Speaker 12: made the move. Trump administration made the move because they
- 31:00Speaker 12: felt that the Venezuelan government was harming the United States
- 31:06Speaker 12: in a variety of ways. That's what I mean to move.
- 31:11Speaker 12: And you know, that's not a hard country to control.
- 31:15Speaker 12: And the CIA in conjunction with the Venezuelan military will
- 31:19Speaker 12: be able to com it down and then there'll be
- 31:22Speaker 12: an election about a year, as there should be, and
- 31:25Speaker 12: maybe the Venezuela's will get back to democracy. They're not
- 31:29Speaker 12: protesting in the streets in Caracas, and the army sold
- 31:34Speaker 12: out Maduro. They made a deal with the CIA, and
- 31:37Speaker 12: that's how the Delta Force got in there with no resistance.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Wow, hey, you mentioned CNN. Even funnier I think is
- 31:44Speaker 2: MS Now this is MSNBC after Oh, it's I can't
- 31:49Speaker 2: but I'm watching yesterday. They're promoting all day long Tonight
- 31:53Speaker 2: at nine exclusive interview with the Gaven Newsom. I see
- 31:56Speaker 2: this guy on TV every five minutes. Now right now
- 31:59Speaker 2: on the screen the promoting tonight exclusive interview with Nancy Pelosi.
- 32:03Speaker 2: She's on everything on every channel every day. How is
- 32:06Speaker 2: this exclusive?
- 32:09Speaker 13: I guess?
- 32:10Speaker 12: I look, I can't watch that, all right, I have
- 32:16Speaker 12: to be honest, I just can't. But Cianna is a
- 32:20Speaker 12: different cat, as Dennis Miller would say, because CNN goes
- 32:24Speaker 12: worldwide and in every way tell you are you travel
- 32:28Speaker 12: the world? That's the NF Okay, they bought that thing
- 32:32Speaker 12: early to Turner, so they're propaganda that infiltrates everything. I'm
- 32:40Speaker 12: doing a YouTube. You mentioned my YouTube channel, which is
- 32:44Speaker 12: really very successful YouTube. Yeah, I don't even know what
- 32:48Speaker 12: YouTube is, but I'm successful on it. I'm doing a
- 32:52Speaker 12: commentary about Jimmy Kimmel doing a slash Trump American. He's
- 33:00Speaker 12: for British television. I got a call from a friend
- 33:05Speaker 12: of mine who lives in Western England who knows nothing
- 33:08Speaker 12: about America because there there's no reporting over there. They
- 33:12Speaker 12: can't get really what's happening. So he relies on me
- 33:15Speaker 12: to tell them why Trump is doing X, Y and Z.
- 33:19Speaker 12: And kim goes over there, it just slashes the country.
- 33:21Speaker 12: This is on Christmas Day, you may remember that. Yeah,
- 33:24Speaker 12: And I'm going why why do you want to hurt
- 33:29Speaker 12: your country?
- 33:29Speaker 13: Jim?
- 33:29Speaker 12: We know you don't like Trump, and you're perfect right
- 33:32Speaker 12: not to like him, But why do you want to
- 33:34Speaker 12: hurt your country?
- 33:36Speaker 13: Why?
- 33:38Speaker 12: And that's my commentary. This is actually seditious and I
- 33:43Speaker 12: do a freedom of speech. I mean, this guy goes
- 33:46Speaker 12: over and he does this propaganda stuff to a foreign
- 33:50Speaker 12: country that doesn't know any better, and it hurts his
- 33:53Speaker 12: own country.
- 33:54Speaker 13: What are you doing?
- 33:55Speaker 2: But I keep going back to childish. It's pouting. He's
- 33:57Speaker 2: just pouting.
- 33:58Speaker 12: It's child Oh yeah, well Jim has got that personal
- 34:02Speaker 12: thing going. But Trump does that too. But you have
- 34:06Speaker 12: to be honest. You know, you go after Trump and
- 34:08Speaker 12: he takes it personally, and it must do I do.
- 34:14Speaker 12: I'll listen. You come intact me and my family personally.
- 34:19Speaker 12: You're on my list. Yeah, and that's not a list
- 34:21Speaker 12: you want to be on.
- 34:24Speaker 2: But I'll tell you one list you want to be on.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Go to billoreilly dot com and sign up for the
- 34:29Speaker 2: daily Message and all that Bill O'Reilly dot com. Become
- 34:32Speaker 2: a member, a subscriber and watch the YouTube channel. You'll
- 34:36Speaker 2: love the content there. You can be a subscriber there
- 34:38Speaker 2: and get the book Confronting Evil. It's a big bestseller.
- 34:42Speaker 2: And Bill O'Reilly, good to have you back, and thanks
- 34:45Speaker 2: for being with us.
- 34:46Speaker 12: Thanks having me and look for a good year of
- 34:49Speaker 12: talking to you. Mark. I always appreciate it.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Well, we love having you on. Thanks for being with us.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Take care, Hey, coming up, don't forget Buck and Clay
- 34:57Speaker 2: excellent show every day at twelve noon, noon to three
- 35:01Speaker 2: and at three o'clock. You got the most listened to
- 35:03Speaker 2: radio show in America. Sean Hannity, you got Jesse Kelly
- 35:07Speaker 2: at six, you got Jimmy Fail a great new show.
- 35:10Speaker 2: It's a really interesting, funny every night nine o'clock right
- 35:13Speaker 2: here on seven to ten WOR.
- 35:16Speaker 6: News breaks out in every show, Mark Simone on seven
- 35:21Speaker 6: ten wor.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Well, hang on, I'm reading this here. Heidi Klum lounging
- 35:29Speaker 2: on the beach. Photographs. You know, they put up people,
- 35:32Speaker 2: pub piece photos, Instagram, TikTok everywhere. She's on the beach
- 35:36Speaker 2: in some tropical island. And apparently people recognize the towel,
- 35:41Speaker 2: the beach towel, six hundred bucks, six hundred bucks, it's
- 35:47Speaker 2: terry cloth. Actually retails for six hundred and ten dollars.
- 35:52Speaker 2: I'm trying to figure it makes it. I think it's oh,
- 35:53Speaker 2: it's a Gucci. It's a Gucci towel, six hundred and
- 35:56Speaker 2: ten dollars, currently unavailable, sold out. So hey missus mom
- 36:02Speaker 2: Donnie there the socialist mom Donnie and his wife the inauguration.
- 36:07Speaker 2: People studying the pictures of the wife at the inauguration
- 36:11Speaker 2: and apparently extremely expensive, like eight hundred dollars boots that
- 36:15Speaker 2: she's wearing. Well, that's okay, and if she wants to
- 36:18Speaker 2: buy some nice boots. Why not. But she's a socialist,
- 36:21Speaker 2: you know, she's supposed to have those Soviet style boots
- 36:23Speaker 2: and not extremely expensive designer boots. Hey, coming up in
- 36:28Speaker 2: the next hour, we got a lot to get to.
- 36:30Speaker 2: There's a Frank Sinatra documentary. I forgot to mention. I
- 36:34Speaker 2: should mention it because you should take a look at this.
- 36:36Speaker 2: It's really good. Also, we're going to talk about these documentaries.
- 36:39Speaker 2: There's too many of them. A Frank Sinatra documentary, I
- 36:42Speaker 2: can understand, it's a lifetime of stuff. But Chevy Chase documentary, Well,
- 36:46Speaker 2: we'll get to that and more coming up after the news.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Also we'll get to who got stranded during the Christmas
- 36:53Speaker 2: break and more coming up on seven to ten Wor
- 36:57Speaker 2: that's a Marshamal you are, well, what's the day today? Tuesday?
- 37:07Speaker 2: I'm already worn out. I'm worn out already. I've been
- 37:09Speaker 2: off for a couple of weeks. This is exhausting. Two
- 37:12Speaker 2: days in a row of this, this is you see, Yeah,
- 37:15Speaker 2: you get out of shape, you know you Yeah, But
- 37:19Speaker 2: we'll get back into it five days a week. We
- 37:21Speaker 2: got lots to get to this hour. Actually, I got
- 37:23Speaker 2: thousands and thousands of pages of stuff here that I
- 37:26Speaker 2: wanted to talk about that I never got to mention,
- 37:28Speaker 2: but we'll get to it all before the week is over.
- 37:32Speaker 2: We try to be like a pipeline to the real story.
- 37:36Speaker 2: You know, if you're watching fake news, you get bombarded
- 37:39Speaker 2: with all this nonsense. The CBS Evening News, as we
- 37:42Speaker 2: mentioned yesterday, it's getting a little better. They're cleaning up
- 37:45Speaker 2: their act a little. It's still partisan, but not as
- 37:48Speaker 2: much as the other networks. They're cleaning it up. They're
- 37:50Speaker 2: getting a little more heading towards the center. They'll never
- 37:56Speaker 2: quite get there, but they're getting closer to it. A
- 37:58Speaker 2: big mix up yesterday on the CBS Evening News. It
- 38:01Speaker 2: was great to watch. They didn't seem to know what
- 38:03Speaker 2: story they were going to next. The guy finished the
- 38:06Speaker 2: Maduro story. The new anchor, good looking guy, I can't
- 38:09Speaker 2: remember his name. I think they're trying to copy David Mewer.
- 38:14Speaker 2: That's the most successful evening newscast in fact, in many weeks,
- 38:18Speaker 2: it's the number one show in all the television and
- 38:20Speaker 2: even primetime. So I think they're looking for that formula.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Real good looking, a mannequin sort of a guy, keep
- 38:27Speaker 2: the graphics, everything moving real fast. That's what they're going
- 38:31Speaker 2: to try. So they finished the story Maduro, and then
- 38:34Speaker 2: he thought they were going to the Mark Kelly story,
- 38:38Speaker 2: but they put up a different graphic and then he
- 38:40Speaker 2: stops right on the eggs wait a minute, which story
- 38:42Speaker 2: were we on? And they're talking to him in his
- 38:43Speaker 2: earphone and everybody's getting confused. They tell him which story.
- 38:47Speaker 2: He goes to that, but the graphics still come up
- 38:49Speaker 2: something else. So but he handled it pretty well. He
- 38:52Speaker 2: handled it pretty well, he said. First week, everything's going crazy,
- 38:57Speaker 2: but that's okay. It actually went viral that clip. It's
- 39:00Speaker 2: pretty good actually, because they may have even done it deliberately,
- 39:03Speaker 2: because it gets a lot of attention that there's a
- 39:06Speaker 2: new anchor that when people see a clip like that everywhere,
- 39:09Speaker 2: it's good promotion. It's better than any advertising you could buy.
- 39:14Speaker 2: But we try to bring you the straight story, like
- 39:16Speaker 2: here's the real facts, here's what's really going on, Here's
- 39:18Speaker 2: what they don't tell you in fake news. They just
- 39:21Speaker 2: leave a lot of stuff out, you know, like when
- 39:24Speaker 2: it comes to Maduro, they don't tell you, you know,
- 39:27Speaker 2: when Schumer says, how this is the most outrageous, illegal,
- 39:32Speaker 2: most crazy thing, anybody's ever done. They never point out
- 39:36Speaker 2: on any of these fake newscasts that for ten years
- 39:39Speaker 2: Schumer has been calling for this. Every Democrat, Pelosi, Schumer,
- 39:43Speaker 2: Elizabeth Warren, everybody you can name, they've been yelling and
- 39:46Speaker 2: screaming to get rid of Maduro, to take them out,
- 39:48Speaker 2: to remove all screaming about it. And they're just children.
- 39:53Speaker 2: They're just childish. Now that it happened, they act like
- 39:55Speaker 2: they hate it. Then they make up all this stuff
- 39:57Speaker 2: it's a violation of international law. They never tell you
- 40:00Speaker 2: there's no such thing anywhere as any international law that
- 40:03Speaker 2: the United States has to follow international law. Where is
- 40:08Speaker 2: this international law coming from? And then they tell you
- 40:11Speaker 2: the War Powers Act. This has nothing to do with
- 40:13Speaker 2: the War Powers Act. If you wanted to go to war,
- 40:16Speaker 2: first of all, you know, if you went to war,
- 40:18Speaker 2: you don't have to follow the War Powers Act. But
- 40:20Speaker 2: that's really what it's for. If you decided to go
- 40:22Speaker 2: to war with the country. It doesn't apply to quick
- 40:26Speaker 2: two hour military operations. It has nothing to do with that.
- 40:30Speaker 2: You don't need any approval. Here's Mike Johnson.
- 40:32Speaker 14: Despite the claims by some of my colleagues, under the
- 40:35Speaker 14: War Powers Act, there is no requirement for prior congressional
- 40:39Speaker 14: approval or prior notification. And in fact, in this case,
- 40:43Speaker 14: the intelligence was so sensitive the conditions had to be perfect.
- 40:47Speaker 14: There was no predetermination of when exactly it would occur.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a top secret. You can't you're gonna trust
- 40:53Speaker 2: that with Hakeem Jeffries and then this Schumer, you know,
- 40:56Speaker 2: with his new glasses, it gets all bent out of shape.
- 40:59Speaker 2: You see the glasses fogging up.
- 41:00Speaker 15: He gets mad I did not receive any assurances that
- 41:04Speaker 15: we would not try to do the same thing in
- 41:07Speaker 15: other countries. And in conclusion, when the United States engages
- 41:13Speaker 15: in this kind of regime change and so called nation building,
- 41:18Speaker 15: it always ends up hurting the United States.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Well then why were you calling for it for ten years?
- 41:23Speaker 2: For ten years you've been demanding it. I give credit
- 41:27Speaker 2: to CNN. They had that awful Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy
- 41:31Speaker 2: on last night, who's such a hypocrite on this that
- 41:34Speaker 2: they actually on CNN they actually confronted him with it.
- 41:38Speaker 2: They put up his statement from like a year ago
- 41:41Speaker 2: calling for the immediate capture and the ouster of Maduro.
- 41:45Speaker 2: It was such a flip flop. They even confronted him
- 41:47Speaker 2: about it, and he didn't know. What the hell does
- 41:49Speaker 2: say getting rid of Maduro. It's a great thing, here's
- 41:51Speaker 2: Stephen Miller.
- 41:52Speaker 16: And as a result of that cooperation, the people of
- 41:54Speaker 16: Venezuela are going to become richer than they ever have before.
- 41:57Speaker 16: And of course the United States is going to benefit
- 41:59Speaker 16: from this actively in terms of economic security and military cooperation,
- 42:04Speaker 16: kind of narcotics, counter terrorism, at every other dimension of
- 42:07Speaker 16: our security.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Again, I don't know what the hell he was doing
- 42:10Speaker 2: with drugs. Why would Maduro get involved with drugs. He's
- 42:12Speaker 2: sitting on twenty percent of the world's oil. Is seventeen
- 42:17Speaker 2: trillion dollars worth of oil right under the ground there.
- 42:20Speaker 2: All you'd do is take it out, and you could
- 42:21Speaker 2: be the whole country with all that oil. They could
- 42:24Speaker 2: all be Saudi princes, they could all be oligarchs, everybody
- 42:27Speaker 2: in the country. It would look like a Dubai. It's
- 42:31Speaker 2: it's easy to do. Just fix the infrastructure and start
- 42:35Speaker 2: pumping the oil. There's three hundred billion barrels there underneath.
- 42:41Speaker 2: So the other thing the fake news does, besides leaving
- 42:44Speaker 2: out ninety percent of the story so you don't get
- 42:46Speaker 2: the full picture, they create these myths, these narratives. You know,
- 42:52Speaker 2: like Marjorie Taylor Green had a big fight with Trump,
- 42:56Speaker 2: not that he had much to do with her. I
- 42:57Speaker 2: mean met her a couple of times, but he had
- 42:59Speaker 2: really no can action with her. Once in a while
- 43:01Speaker 2: they be together at some event or something, but very
- 43:05Speaker 2: little connection to Marjorie Tayler Green. She got mad, they
- 43:07Speaker 2: got no fight about something. She anyway, she quit, She's leaving,
- 43:11Speaker 2: and you'll see these stories all over fake news. Maga
- 43:15Speaker 2: torn apart. There's a rift in MAGA, all the megas
- 43:19Speaker 2: torn apart by this nobody in MAGA. There are some
- 43:22Speaker 2: people like Marjorie Taylor Green, but it's a bunch of
- 43:25Speaker 2: people away over there, has nothing to do with MAGA.
- 43:28Speaker 2: It's like Steve Bannon will criticize Trump. Remember Steve Bannon,
- 43:32Speaker 2: He's still around, but you'll see civil War and Mega.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Steve Bannon has nothing to do with the most of MAGA.
- 43:41Speaker 2: If you go in the cabinet room with Rubio and
- 43:44Speaker 2: Scott Bessant and Doug Bergham, they're not thinking about Steve Bannon,
- 43:50Speaker 2: they're not worried about it. Nobody cares. It's like this
- 43:53Speaker 2: guy George Conway, you remember George Conway. What was that
- 43:57Speaker 2: thing called the Lincoln Project. You remember how he went
- 43:59Speaker 2: after Trump. He had been married to the great Kelly
- 44:02Speaker 2: Ann Conway, but then they broke up when he went
- 44:07Speaker 2: insane literally, insane politically, and he's been attacking Trump. Remember
- 44:13Speaker 2: that Lincoln Project where they really went after him, all
- 44:15Speaker 2: kinds of made up nonsense. So now Conway is coming
- 44:19Speaker 2: to New York. He's gonna run for the seat. Is
- 44:23Speaker 2: it Jerry Nadler's seat. Jerry Nadler's not running for reelection.
- 44:26Speaker 2: He's decided to leave Congress and just devote full time
- 44:29Speaker 2: to eating. So a Conway will run for the seat.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Now he doesn't live here. He lives in Maryland. He
- 44:37Speaker 2: used to live here. I don't know ten years ago,
- 44:39Speaker 2: fifteen years he lived here, but he's been living in
- 44:42Speaker 2: Maryland's I don't know how he run for this seat,
- 44:43Speaker 2: but he's going to do it. So if you watch
- 44:45Speaker 2: the fake news, the MS, Now Morning Joe, fake stuff,
- 44:49Speaker 2: all they keep talking about is if George Conway wins,
- 44:53Speaker 2: it'll be an incredible thorn in the side of Donald Trump.
- 44:56Speaker 2: He'll be going after Donald Trump. It'll be on dodible
- 45:01Speaker 2: tax on Donald No again, Nobody in that cabinet room
- 45:05Speaker 2: cares about George Conway. If you mention the name, they'd
- 45:08Speaker 2: look at you. You have to describe him for two
- 45:10Speaker 2: minutes before they remember who the hell he is. No
- 45:12Speaker 2: matter how much he attacks him, it can't be any
- 45:15Speaker 2: more than he's already been attacking him. And it doesn't
- 45:17Speaker 2: mean anything to them now. And let's say he had
- 45:19Speaker 2: that congressional seat and used it to attack Trump, Well,
- 45:22Speaker 2: it'd be the same thing as Nadler. Nobody was a
- 45:24Speaker 2: bigger critic than Nadler. It means absolutely nothing, nothing to
- 45:30Speaker 2: Donald Trump or MAGA or anything. But they build it
- 45:33Speaker 2: up like it's some big problem. And then there's this
- 45:36Speaker 2: pole that they released today, one of those aps something
- 45:40Speaker 2: Reuter is some fake news poll about seventy five percent
- 45:45Speaker 2: of America is not happy with capturing Maduro. They're against it. Well,
- 45:48Speaker 2: if you look into the metrics of the pole, it's
- 45:52Speaker 2: totally rigged, totally slanted. The question is all wrong. They
- 45:55Speaker 2: used the wrong group, the wrong demo, the wrong this
- 45:58Speaker 2: the wrong time. It was before anybody knew anything about
- 46:03Speaker 2: it was as soon as it happened a couple days later,
- 46:07Speaker 2: everybody's had it explained to them a million different ways.
- 46:10Speaker 2: So if you did a real poll with the right
- 46:12Speaker 2: demographics and the right metrics right now, you'd get a
- 46:15Speaker 2: whole different reading. Hey, a lot of celebrities got stranded
- 46:22Speaker 2: because of the Maduro raid. When they did that operation
- 46:27Speaker 2: down there in South America, they closed the airspace for
- 46:31Speaker 2: a long distance because they didn't know where those planes
- 46:34Speaker 2: would have to go and get out. They closed airspace.
- 46:37Speaker 2: And this was the final days of the Christmas break,
- 46:41Speaker 2: the weekend, Saturday and Sunday. So when they closed the airspace,
- 46:44Speaker 2: a lot of people could not get off there. You know,
- 46:47Speaker 2: some people go to these crazy islands down there, like
- 46:50Speaker 2: Saint Bart's and all those places. So all these celebrities stranded,
- 46:54Speaker 2: they could not get out, airspace closed, their planes couldn't
- 46:57Speaker 2: take off, so they they're all yelling and screaming and complaining.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Imagine complaining. Imagine you're a millionaire celebrity. You're complaining that
- 47:05Speaker 2: you had to spend an extra two days at Saint Bart's.
- 47:09Speaker 2: This is a big, big problem to them, But they
- 47:12Speaker 2: all got out eventually. Speaking of celebrities, too many documentaries,
- 47:17Speaker 2: there's too many documentaries. There's one I forgot to tell
- 47:21Speaker 2: you about this, but you should watch this. You know.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Fox Nation is a Fox twentieth century Fox. They started this.
- 47:29Speaker 2: It's their streaming service. It's called Fox Nation. It's got
- 47:32Speaker 2: a lot of great shows. But they just came out
- 47:34Speaker 2: with the Sinatra documentary. I already told you about this
- 47:37Speaker 2: about four or five months ago. Maybe it was six
- 47:40Speaker 2: months ago. I'm in the documentary, but that's when they
- 47:42Speaker 2: were filming the whole thing. But it's called Sinatra. What's
- 47:47Speaker 2: it called? Echoes of an Icon. I'm not crazy about
- 47:50Speaker 2: the title. But it's a great documentary. It's two parts,
- 47:54Speaker 2: two hours, and then there's an additional bunch of segments
- 47:59Speaker 2: that you can watch. But it's phenomenal. It's a and
- 48:03Speaker 2: they spent a fortune on it because they have all
- 48:06Speaker 2: the rare clips and recordings and film clips tv clips.
- 48:09Speaker 2: You got to you gotta pay to use all these clips,
- 48:11Speaker 2: and they spend a lot of money. But it's on
- 48:14Speaker 2: Fox Nation. Fox Nation. You have to have a subscription,
- 48:18Speaker 2: but they're pretty cheap, the subscriptions to Fox Nation. And
- 48:21Speaker 2: you'll love it. They got a lot of great programs.
- 48:22Speaker 2: But sign up for Fox Nation and then search for
- 48:26Speaker 2: Sinatra Echoes of an Icon, Sinatra just type in Sinatra
- 48:31Speaker 2: and this documentary will come out. I'm in it. I'm
- 48:33Speaker 2: all through it, and there a lot of people are
- 48:34Speaker 2: in it. But when it first was released, I just
- 48:38Speaker 2: wanted to watch it for a few minutes because I
- 48:39Speaker 2: just want to see what I look like in it.
- 48:41Speaker 2: I mean, to be honest, I could say they spent
- 48:43Speaker 2: a lot of money lighting the thing, in the set
- 48:45Speaker 2: and the whole thing. They just want to see how
- 48:46Speaker 2: it looked. So I was just gonna watch for five
- 48:49Speaker 2: minutes just to see if I look bad. I look
- 48:51Speaker 2: good at it. Just watch for five minutes. I ended
- 48:54Speaker 2: up watching the whole two hours. I couldn't stop. It
- 48:57Speaker 2: just moves, it's it's got all kinds of rare footage,
- 48:59Speaker 2: all kinds of stuff. You'll love it. So it's on
- 49:02Speaker 2: Fox Nation now. The other thing is there's too many
- 49:07Speaker 2: of these documentaries, the Chevy Chase documentary. Everybody's talking about
- 49:10Speaker 2: the Chevy Chase doc I like Chevy Chase, But do
- 49:15Speaker 2: you really want to spend two hours studying this guy's life.
- 49:17Speaker 2: I mean, I'd like to watch a movie of his
- 49:19Speaker 2: or something like that, or an old Saturday Night live clip,
- 49:22Speaker 2: But do you really need to know everything about this guy,
- 49:24Speaker 2: and there's nothing that interesting. The part everybody's talking about
- 49:27Speaker 2: is how well, how badd he could be. He yelled
- 49:30Speaker 2: at the director. She was a woman, and he said
- 49:32Speaker 2: something about you're not quite He yelled at her. I
- 49:36Speaker 2: hate to break it to you. This goes on all
- 49:38Speaker 2: the time in movies, in broadcasting, in television. All of
- 49:42Speaker 2: your favorite stars, even the nicest people in the world,
- 49:45Speaker 2: who are really nice people to work with, every so
- 49:47Speaker 2: often something goes wrong and they start yelling at somebody.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Is he in the control room? You've been doing this
- 49:52Speaker 2: a long time. You've had a host yell at you, right,
- 49:55Speaker 2: it happens. Now there's some guys that aren't so nice,
- 49:59Speaker 2: you know, Like I'm we was just cursing and screaming
- 50:01Speaker 2: and yelling every break, every time there was a commercial.
- 50:06Speaker 2: You'd yell at everybody. I mean, just always yelling. Bob
- 50:10Speaker 2: Grant could be a pain in the neck to be around.
- 50:14Speaker 2: I'm trying to think I'm editing myself. But even the
- 50:21Speaker 2: really nice guys, the nicest people in broadcasting, they're the
- 50:24Speaker 2: finest people you could ever know. They're nice to everybody,
- 50:27Speaker 2: they're generous, warm. Once in a while, something goes wrong
- 50:31Speaker 2: on a show and they'll start yelling at somebody. It
- 50:32Speaker 2: happens in everybody, everybody. It happens in every TV studio,
- 50:38Speaker 2: in the nicest house, but something goes wrong sometimes you know,
- 50:41Speaker 2: you're sitting there in the green room and all of
- 50:43Speaker 2: a sudden you hear some yelling something when somebody screwed
- 50:45Speaker 2: up something. Those that's yelling. It goes out all the time.
- 50:48Speaker 2: So but they make it. They make things up in
- 50:53Speaker 2: these documentaries that aren't that important. They build them up
- 50:56Speaker 2: in some of them because if they're not that interesting,
- 50:59Speaker 2: you're gonna make some stuff like this to make it
- 51:02Speaker 2: more interesting. Hey, Jimmy Kimmel is back. But not really,
- 51:08Speaker 2: not really. They know the show stinks, they know nobody's
- 51:11Speaker 2: watching it. The network wants to get rid of them.
- 51:13Speaker 2: They just renewed it for one year, which is the
- 51:15Speaker 2: biggest insult in the world. Standard renewal standard new contract
- 51:19Speaker 2: is five years. You get a five year contract. Now,
- 51:23Speaker 2: there's some people, some hosts that don't like five year
- 51:26Speaker 2: contracts because it favors the company. They lock in for
- 51:30Speaker 2: five years at a certain price. So some people like
- 51:32Speaker 2: three year contracts that we can keep getting more raises,
- 51:35Speaker 2: But there's no such thing as a If you get
- 51:38Speaker 2: a one year extension means they have no faith in
- 51:40Speaker 2: you at all, and it most likely means they're going
- 51:42Speaker 2: to get rid of you, because if it's only a
- 51:45Speaker 2: one year extension, they don't mind paying that off. So
- 51:48Speaker 2: that was the biggest insult to Kimmel. And now that
- 51:50Speaker 2: he's back, they're cutting back on stuff like you know
- 51:53Speaker 2: they have a musical act every night, Well they're now
- 51:56Speaker 2: cutting that down to like one night a week because
- 51:59Speaker 2: it's expensive to do the musical act. It costs more
- 52:02Speaker 2: money production wise and everything. And prediction they'll cut back
- 52:07Speaker 2: on live shows. They've already done that with the Tonight
- 52:09Speaker 2: Show Colbert. You know, they're no longer five nights a week.
- 52:12Speaker 2: They do like four shows a week and run a
- 52:15Speaker 2: rerun on the fifth night. So expect that with kim Well,
- 52:19Speaker 2: expect these shows to go to three nights a week
- 52:22Speaker 2: and two reruns per week. Hey, we'll take some calls next.
- 52:26Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 52:29Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 52:34Speaker 2: is the number. Hey, Wegman's getting a lot of flak.
- 52:37Speaker 2: They've announced it in New York. They're collecting biometric data.
- 52:42Speaker 2: You know, when you walk in the store, they're scanning
- 52:44Speaker 2: your face, they're scanning your eyeballs. I guess a lot
- 52:47Speaker 2: of stories do this, but for some reason in New York,
- 52:50Speaker 2: Wegmans is announced they're saving this data and a lot
- 52:55Speaker 2: of people aren't going to shop there right now. They say,
- 52:57Speaker 2: I'm not shopping there anymore because I don't know, Say,
- 53:00Speaker 2: at Wegmans they had a picture of your face and
- 53:02Speaker 2: your eyeballs. How damaging is this? What would you even
- 53:04Speaker 2: be worried about? The people of it. I'm never going
- 53:07Speaker 2: in there again. Are the same people that put their
- 53:09Speaker 2: face in their eyeballs up on Instagram ten times a day.
- 53:12Speaker 2: But nobody can figure out why they're doing it. They
- 53:16Speaker 2: said it's a security thing to identify any possible threats
- 53:21Speaker 2: to I don't even know what that means. And that
- 53:23Speaker 2: would apply to every business and every store in New York.
- 53:26Speaker 2: But they don't need to do it. They haven't reversed
- 53:28Speaker 2: it yet. They're getting a lot of flack. I guess
- 53:30Speaker 2: they're waiting to see how much of a drop in
- 53:32Speaker 2: traffic they get as a result. And why just Manhattan,
- 53:36Speaker 2: it's a strange thing, but I think deep down you're
- 53:41Speaker 2: going to turn out they're collecting this data because it's
- 53:44Speaker 2: going to be valuable commercially somewhere in the future. You know,
- 53:50Speaker 2: right now, every business been collecting your email, your cell
- 53:52Speaker 2: phone number. That way they can bobarde you with ADS
- 53:55Speaker 2: or something. This facial recognition stuff. Somewhere in the future,
- 53:58Speaker 2: it's going to be used for Mark getting spam or
- 54:01Speaker 2: that kind of stuff. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next
- 54:03Speaker 2: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is another.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Get instant access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 54:11Speaker 1: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on w o R.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to George in Boston. George,
- 54:24Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 54:27Speaker 8: Mayn Man Danny is the biggest plumlord.
- 54:30Speaker 4: The city of New York is.
- 54:31Speaker 8: The biggest real estate holder. Oh, I'm sorry about that,
- 54:35Speaker 8: but may and Man Danny is the biggest thumblood.
- 54:38Speaker 2: You've already heard thatmlood. But again, why the echo are
- 54:42Speaker 2: you in a tunnel or something?
- 54:44Speaker 13: Nor why are you making chokes?
- 54:46Speaker 2: I'm trying to be I'm not begging jokes. You sound
- 54:50Speaker 2: like those in the truck of a call or something.
- 54:53Speaker 2: So anyway, let's go to uh Wagner in Philadelphia. Wagner,
- 54:58Speaker 2: how you.
- 54:58Speaker 13: Doing, Good morning, Happy New Year.
- 55:03Speaker 2: What we're gonna do with this tomorrow.
- 55:05Speaker 13: Man, this new mayor for New York.
- 55:10Speaker 12: He say, oh, I'm not called the preceding our president
- 55:17Speaker 12: to complain about it.
- 55:18Speaker 13: He's not agoing. Oh what he'd be doing?
- 55:23Speaker 8: This this denial christ liberal unbelievable.
- 55:26Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, you gotta people what you're saying. But
- 55:30Speaker 2: I give mom Donny credit. It's a smart move to
- 55:32Speaker 2: call the president. Not that the president's listening are cares,
- 55:35Speaker 2: but he'll play along. Uh. And the reason that Mom
- 55:38Speaker 2: Donnie will do that makes him look more important. You know,
- 55:41Speaker 2: he's twelve years old, just got elected mayor. He's never
- 55:44Speaker 2: had a job. You know, he's a little tiny character
- 55:48Speaker 2: right now. But I'm calling the president to consult with
- 55:51Speaker 2: him on the maderial makes him sound important. Uh. First term,
- 55:56Speaker 2: the president had a special Presidential Secret Service phone that
- 56:00Speaker 2: he used, but this time around he still got that.
- 56:03Speaker 2: But he has his own private personal cell phone and
- 56:05Speaker 2: he's been given the number out to everybody, every journalist,
- 56:09Speaker 2: everybody at CNN, everybody at the New York Tate. He
- 56:12Speaker 2: just gives the cell number to everybody. And there's a
- 56:15Speaker 2: lot of people that text him, and you know you'll
- 56:18Speaker 2: see them on CNN. They're a White House reporter, but
- 56:20Speaker 2: they're not that important. And now you're right after Maduro Rate.
- 56:23Speaker 2: They called him and talked to him, so it makes
- 56:26Speaker 2: them feel important, and I think he kind of enjoys
- 56:28Speaker 2: it thanks hearing from all these people all the time.
- 56:31Speaker 2: So we mo'm Donnie. He gives it to everybody. When
- 56:34Speaker 2: you're in the Oval office. You have my cell number. Here,
- 56:36Speaker 2: take my number, call me whatever you want. It makes
- 56:38Speaker 2: them feel good to call. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 56:42Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 56:43Speaker 13: Good morning, Mark, I'm okay, Mark. During your first how
- 56:46Speaker 13: I heard a caller, uh speak about the new fire Commissioner. Well,
- 56:52Speaker 13: it seems to me like the mayor hired Newman's body
- 56:55Speaker 13: double from the Seinfeldt Show as the new fire COMMISSI
- 57:00Speaker 13: you see this runway model the EyeT.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Yeah, she does look like it's a she, right, you.
- 57:06Speaker 13: Tell me, man? I mean, well, it seems like with
- 57:13Speaker 13: these socialists that they have to pick the most iconic,
- 57:18Speaker 13: iconoclastic figures they could find, uh to represent to show
- 57:24Speaker 13: that they're really down for the struggle. Mark speaking about
- 57:28Speaker 13: the flawless execution of the Maduro extraction. Uh, there is
- 57:34Speaker 13: some great videos on YouTube. I don't mean people with
- 57:38Speaker 13: their cell phones out of their balconies, uh taking shots
- 57:43Speaker 13: of when they were, you know, attacking the compound. Somebody
- 57:47Speaker 13: actually reversed engineered all of the uh, the Navy and
- 57:53Speaker 13: the special forces moved and there's a great video on it.
- 57:57Speaker 13: They showed all the reasons why they use specific jets
- 58:02Speaker 13: to do certain parts of the operation. The helicopter formation
- 58:07Speaker 13: is perfect circle.
- 58:09Speaker 2: That sounds interesting, but it's probably only sixty percent accurate
- 58:11Speaker 2: because it's whoever it was was guessing it a lot
- 58:13Speaker 2: of stuff.
- 58:14Speaker 13: Well, yeah, perhaps that's right, but it was really interesting.
- 58:18Speaker 13: They did show you the mock building that they made
- 58:21Speaker 13: of the palace where Maduro was living, and very good,
- 58:28Speaker 13: I mean the.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Trade, flawless military execution, and obviously the CIA doing better
- 58:35Speaker 2: work than ever getting an intel.
- 58:37Speaker 8: Mack.
- 58:37Speaker 13: I can't wait until they make the movie about this this.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, no, that won't be a movie. It's
- 58:44Speaker 2: a Republican president. If it was a democratic movie, it'd
- 58:47Speaker 2: be ten TV specials.
- 58:49Speaker 13: I say that they could make you know Baron Trump.
- 58:53Speaker 13: They could use that age aging technology, the aging software
- 58:58Speaker 13: to make them look old. They could make Bernie Sanders,
- 59:01Speaker 13: they could dye his hair, make them go a stash
- 59:04Speaker 13: to make you.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Yeah, that stuff doesn't work. Go look at the irishman
- 59:07Speaker 2: with de Niro. They've used the digital technology. Instead of eighty,
- 59:10Speaker 2: he looked like seventy two. It didn't make that much difference.
- 59:13Speaker 2: But Vincent, great call, Thanks for calling. Hey. When we
- 59:16Speaker 2: come back, Greg Jarrett, the greatest legal expert of all,
- 59:20Speaker 2: will be with us next. What's going to happen to Maduro?
- 59:22Speaker 2: And what is this? It's against international law? We'll ask
- 59:25Speaker 2: the legal expert in a moment. On seven to ten
- 59:28Speaker 2: wor always.
- 59:30Speaker 1: This step ahead of the news. Here's more marks imone
- 59:33Speaker 1: on seven to ten wor Well.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Let's turn down to the greatest legal analyst of all,
- 59:39Speaker 2: Greg Jarrett. You can read his latest column foxnews dot Com.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Also Greg Jarrett's books highly recommended Trial of the Century
- 59:47Speaker 2: in the Riveting legal Trial book You'll ever read, and
- 59:51Speaker 2: his latest book, The Constitution and Other Patriotic Documents, very
- 59:55Speaker 2: important book you should have in your library. Highly recommended,
- 59:59Speaker 2: Greg Jarrett.
- 1:00:00Speaker 11: How you doing, Mark, I'm fine, Thanks for having me on.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: No, let's get to this Maduro stuff. It violates international law,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: it's illegal, it's against the Constitution. Is it any of
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: those things?
- 1:00:13Speaker 11: No, it's none of those things. And the people who
- 1:00:16Speaker 11: are saying it are either profoundly stupid or they know
- 1:00:19Speaker 11: it and they're lying. You know, every president since World
- 1:00:24Speaker 11: War Two has ordered military action without congressional consent because
- 1:00:31Speaker 11: short of declaring war, presidents don't need prior approval from Congress.
- 1:00:36Speaker 11: It's written in the Constitution, Article two, Section two grants
- 1:00:41Speaker 11: presidents is commander in chief inherent power two direct military
- 1:00:46Speaker 11: strikes unilaterally. And you know, I hear some people that
- 1:00:50Speaker 11: you violated the War Powers Act. Well read the War
- 1:00:54Speaker 11: Powers Act. It's not a prohibition. It is a reporting
- 1:00:59Speaker 11: requirema you know, notify Congress within forty eight hours of
- 1:01:04Speaker 11: taking military action, and the resolution itself admits that the
- 1:01:08Speaker 11: president has that right. The president also, as I point
- 1:01:13Speaker 11: out in my most recent column, has another authority. It's
- 1:01:16Speaker 11: called the take Care Clause. It's in the Constitution, Section two,
- 1:01:21Speaker 11: section three. Actually the Constitution. Under that document, the president
- 1:01:29Speaker 11: is duty bound to faithfully execute all laws. And so
- 1:01:33Speaker 11: what does that mean. Well, effectuating the arrest of a
- 1:01:37Speaker 11: wanted fugitive is enforcing all laws, capturing that person, bringing
- 1:01:43Speaker 11: him to court to face justice, seeking a prosecution, and
- 1:01:47Speaker 11: punishment upon conviction, all of those things the president is
- 1:01:52Speaker 11: obligated to do. And look, if Joe Biden had done it,
- 1:01:57Speaker 11: these same Trump critics would be cheering instead of denouncing
- 1:02:02Speaker 11: President Trump. They only condemned prompt Trump because it's Trump,
- 1:02:07Speaker 11: and that's all they stand for, really, is just opposing
- 1:02:11Speaker 11: everything he does.
- 1:02:12Speaker 13: If the guy.
- 1:02:13Speaker 11: Cured cancer, they depose it for some invented reason.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Now he's in federal court, federal charges, federal custody. If
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: it were local, if it were Alvin Bragg of with
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: local charges, he would be out already right with the
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: no cash, no base, Yeah.
- 1:02:28Speaker 11: He probably would. Look take a look at the subsdiing indictment.
- 1:02:36Speaker 11: It is one scary document. If you're the defendant, they
- 1:02:40Speaker 11: have the goods on him. The document trail alone that
- 1:02:45Speaker 11: they've accumulated is enough to convict. And then you've got
- 1:02:49Speaker 11: cooperating witnesses, some of whom have already pled guilty as
- 1:02:55Speaker 11: Maduro's co conspirators in US courts, and you have high
- 1:03:00Speaker 11: the incriminating tape recordings. You put all of that together
- 1:03:04Speaker 11: and it spells conviction. And you know, you have to
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: understand the Department of Justice spent the better part of
- 1:03:11Speaker 11: a decade meticulously gathering the evidence against Maduro and his
- 1:03:16Speaker 11: wife and all of his cronies. They looted the Venezuelan government.
- 1:03:21Speaker 11: They did a lot of it through drug trafficking, murders,
- 1:03:25Speaker 11: torture of women and children, a whole host of despicable
- 1:03:29Speaker 11: crimes that falls under the category of narco terrorism. So
- 1:03:34Speaker 11: you know, I'm always reluctant to say it's a slam
- 1:03:37Speaker 11: dunk case. But you know, if I were you Maduro's
- 1:03:41Speaker 11: defense attorney, I'd say, what do you got to help
- 1:03:45Speaker 11: the United States so that we can play Let's make
- 1:03:48Speaker 11: a deal.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Huh. So he does have attorneys now that are working
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: on this. Is that their only hope make a deal.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: There's no actual defense loud Look.
- 1:03:57Speaker 11: I mean they're going to pull the usual stuff that
- 1:04:02Speaker 11: norie get pulled. Is you know, he has a very
- 1:04:06Speaker 11: good lawyer, Barry Pollock, and you know he'll do what
- 1:04:11Speaker 11: Noriega's lawyers to challenge the capture and arrest and the
- 1:04:15Speaker 11: status of Maduro, claiming a violation of due process. Oh,
- 1:04:21Speaker 11: it's a violation of international law, whatever that means. And
- 1:04:26Speaker 11: you know, they'll argue the US has no jurisdiction to
- 1:04:29Speaker 11: prosecute him. They'll assert, you know, head of state immunity
- 1:04:33Speaker 11: can't do it. Well, Norie tried to pull that nonsense,
- 1:04:37Speaker 11: and it didn't work. It failed miserably. He was convicted,
- 1:04:41Speaker 11: mostly because the Supreme Court has said, we don't care
- 1:04:45Speaker 11: who you are or how you got here into this courtroom.
- 1:04:49Speaker 11: You know, we treat poppers and potentates alike.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: Well, that's not good for him. Hey, if you watch
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: fake news, all you keep here at a violation of
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: international law, international law. Where exactly does this international law
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: come from.
- 1:05:05Speaker 11: Well, it's pretty much imaginary. One of the things they
- 1:05:09Speaker 11: point to, as you know I noted in my column
- 1:05:15Speaker 11: is that, well, there is this United Nations Charter Section two.
- 1:05:22Speaker 11: Parenthesis for that says, oh, you can't violate another country's sovereignty.
- 1:05:31Speaker 11: But read on and you see there are exceptions to it.
- 1:05:34Speaker 11: One of them's you know, active defense on behalf of
- 1:05:39Speaker 11: another nation. And you know, here when you know you're
- 1:05:43Speaker 11: flooding metric tons of cocaine in the United States, poisonous drugs.
- 1:05:50Speaker 11: You know, the US has a right to defend itself.
- 1:05:52Speaker 11: And you know, this guy Maduro was the head of
- 1:05:56Speaker 11: a narco terrorism cartel that was doing all this. So
- 1:06:02Speaker 11: you know, look, as I said on the air over
- 1:06:05Speaker 11: the weekend, the United Nations is a feckless organization and
- 1:06:09Speaker 11: the UN charter has only one valid use to line
- 1:06:14Speaker 11: the bottom of a bird cage.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Yeah. The UN is that organization over there on First
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Avenue and forty fifth. They have no actual authority.
- 1:06:22Speaker 11: Over anything, do they No, they have no enforcement authority.
- 1:06:26Speaker 11: No serious person ever pays attention to anything they do.
- 1:06:30Speaker 11: And besides, the United States has veto power and the
- 1:06:35Speaker 11: UN Security Council, and so you know, whatever they tried
- 1:06:39Speaker 11: to do would get vetoed. You know, I've never quite
- 1:06:43Speaker 11: understood how the UN has lasted as long as it has.
- 1:06:48Speaker 11: You know, maybe the intention was good, as it was
- 1:06:51Speaker 11: with the League of Nations that never got off the ground,
- 1:06:55Speaker 11: but in practice it's utterly worthless.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Yeah, make sure you go read Greg Jared's column. It's
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: up at foxnews dot com. Hey. You point out in
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: the column Joe Biden had offered a twenty five million
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: dollar reward for Maduro's arrest. Who was he thinking would
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: arrest him?
- 1:07:11Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 1:07:11Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, you know, and when Biden was running
- 1:07:16Speaker 11: in twenty twenty, he excoriated Trump for doing nothing about Maduro.
- 1:07:23Speaker 11: And then, of course Biden took office and did nothing
- 1:07:25Speaker 11: about Maduro except put a bounty on his head. Chuck
- 1:07:29Speaker 11: Schumer stood on the floor of the United States Senate
- 1:07:33Speaker 11: when Trump was in office the first time around and
- 1:07:39Speaker 11: railed against him for not getting rid of Maduro. So,
- 1:07:43Speaker 11: you know, in the second term, Trump does exactly what
- 1:07:46Speaker 11: Schumer demanded, and Schumer, then, you know, de announces Trump
- 1:07:52Speaker 11: for doing what Schumer insisted that Trump should do. I mean,
- 1:07:55Speaker 11: these people are knuckleheads, and they're you know, the ultimate
- 1:07:59Speaker 11: in hypocrites.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Hey, is somebody entitled this twenty five million dollar award?
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Can Pete Hexith put in the claim for it or
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Donald Trump?
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: No?
- 1:08:06Speaker 11: I think when the military acts and law enforcement acts,
- 1:08:10Speaker 11: it doesn't really apply. But you know, I don't know
- 1:08:15Speaker 11: who knows. Trump may say, hey, I get the reward
- 1:08:18Speaker 11: and we're going to distribute it to members of the military. Well,
- 1:08:23Speaker 11: I don't object to that verse. Guys are the best
- 1:08:26Speaker 11: in the world. You know, the Delta Force and all
- 1:08:29Speaker 11: of the other American forces that carried out this incredible
- 1:08:34Speaker 11: raid without injury to any of our military personnel. Truly remarkable.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: Well, you read the column. It's a great column. It's
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: up at foxnews dot com. Just look for Greg Jarrett's
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: column and all of his columns there. Make sure you
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: get his books, the latest book, The Constitution and Other
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: Patriotic Documents. It's a book you should have in your library. Definitely,
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: you can go get at it.
- 1:08:57Speaker 11: Well, I'm going to send it to Chuck SCHUMERI might
- 1:08:59Speaker 11: come as apparently when he went to law school he
- 1:09:02Speaker 11: skipped constitutional law.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Yeah, well, yeah, it's a good idea. Somebody buy it
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: and send it to Chuck Schumer. It would be a
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: good idea. Greg Jarrett, the best legal analyst of all, Thanks.
- 1:09:14Speaker 11: For being with us, my pleasure, Mark, take care, all right.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: Take care. Fascinating stuff. Yeah that you'll hear this for
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: the next week. You'll hear it on the Sunday shows
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: coming up this weekend. You'll hear the violation of international law.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: Now there you go, the best legal analyst of all.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: There's no such thing as international law. Hey, don't forget
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: coming up at noon, it's Buck Sexton, Klay Travis. That's
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: a great show. You'll learn a lot of stuff. Every
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: day twelve noon. Then you got and everybody's back by
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: the way from vacation. You got the most listened to
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: radio show in America, Sean Hannity three o'clock. You got
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Jesse Kelly at six, and everybody loves the new Jimmy
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Faylors Show every night nine to midnight. Very good, funny show,
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: excellent nine to midnight. Right here on seven, here's more.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Mark Simone on seven to TENO.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Well, hey, we've got a lot of stuff. We didn't
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: get to. Marty Supreme. Great movie. Go see it. Marty
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: Supreme doing a big business at the box office. But
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: you'll love it. I knew the real Marty Supreme. We'll
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: talk about it tomorrow. Mark Kelly military demotion, reducing his
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: rank in his retirement vent But the guy is sleazy.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: Senator Mark Kelly's the guy trying to stir up trouble
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: in the military. And it's not unusual to do that
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: to somebody. Democrats did it to Ronnie Jackson all because
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: he was a Trump supporter. They demoted him in retirement
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: it happens, but we'll get to that tomorrow and a
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: lot to get to tomorrow, so don't miss tomorrow's show
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: and don't go away. Buck and Clay are coming up
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: next with an excellent show. They'll be here right after
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: the news and thanks for everything, Thanks for listening seven
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: to ten. W oh uh.
