I'm going to be a pastor or a minister?
2:01
Good question. I don't know, but it is all in God's hands. Good morning.
2:06
You're listening to Have Faith Let It Begin, and it starts right now.
2:11
Hey, everyone. Welcome to Have Faith Let It Begin. It is a Friday,
2:14
and we are here coming together.
2:16
It is a Friday. I cannot... Oh, look at that. The commercials want to run.
2:20
It's today, February 7th, Friday, February 7th, 2025.
2:24
And we are, let's see, a couple days away from the Super Bowl, right?
2:28
That's on Sunday and another big snowstorm as we just got rocked yesterday with
2:34
an ice storm in the Northeast and now we're waiting for another storm. So please be safe.
2:39
This is a very easy way to close out the week. I know I've been promoting a
2:43
lot this collaboration with 86 Auto World and I just want you to know that this
2:48
is the very first time in seven years on the air that we have done a collaboration promotion like this.
2:54
So, you know, we're giving away $25 oil changes I believe,
3:00
if I'm correct I think two people may have already went So,
3:04
you know, I'm not worried about the number We're going to run this to the month
3:08
of February And we're going to do something together as well For the month of
3:12
March I just want to point that out to you Because let me tell you,
3:15
oil changes They don't come pretty,
3:17
you know, cheap these days But 86 Auto World is doing their part to help and
3:23
they were so willing to come together with us.
3:25
And I think that sets a precedent.
3:28
All right, what is today's episode really all about? It's Super Bowl weekend.
3:32
Whether you're a fan of football or not, whether you're a sports fan or not,
3:37
you can agree on one thing.
3:39
Having an event where you come together as a family, break bread,
3:45
have some laughs, share some memories is just something we all really need.
3:51
It takes me back to the days of when we were younger and Sundays was a day when nothing was open.
3:58
It felt as if Sunday was the day that it was always a family get-together, a family gathering.
4:04
And we don't see that too often anymore. Now it's really more about holidays
4:09
and even on certain holidays, we really can't get together because we still have to work.
4:15
But I want us to understand this, you know, listening and reading the Bible,
4:20
just finishing up the gospel of Mark, did the gospel of Luke,
4:24
and then the gospel of John, just starting John. And.
4:28
What I have to tell you is watching in my mind, but listening to the Bible and
4:33
reading the Bible and painting a picture of the walk that Jesus had with his disciples.
4:39
It makes me say, in a way, while we're walking with Christ, we're also enjoying
4:46
the journey we have with our family.
4:49
Because one day, one by one, we'll be called home.
4:53
We will all reunite and once again in heaven. but we have to enjoy the moments
4:58
that we have here while we're on earth.
5:01
And there are so many of you that have lost moms, some of you that have lost
5:06
dads and those that have been raised by grandparents and others.
5:10
And sometimes on days when you have family get togethers, it's a hard day for you.
5:17
But what's really inspiring is that we can come together, whether they're here
5:22
on earth or watching from heaven, we can share memories, We can create new memories
5:27
and we can hold on to those memories in our hearts.
5:31
So today, as we get ready for Super Bowl weekend, embrace the moments,
5:37
have fun, have your faith.
5:39
And if you have a chance, pray for someone that you haven't spoken to.
5:44
Take your phone out, scroll your contact list, stop at a person,
5:49
give them a call, pray first, Then give them a call and say,
5:53
I was thinking about you and I prayed for you this morning. How's it going?
5:57
I'm gonna do that this weekend. So get ready because you may get a phone call from me. Let's pray.
6:03
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
6:07
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
6:13
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
6:20
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
6:25
For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever.
6:32
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
6:36
Heavenly Father, we pray for every half-faith, let it begin,
6:39
family member. We pray for first responders, EMS.
6:43
We pray for ENTs. We pray for EMTs.
6:48
Yes, I did say that right. ENT for ears, nose, and throat, just to let you know.
6:51
And we pray for our first responders of oxygen.
6:56
We pray for our first responders for fire and rescue, for police and firefighters.
7:03
We pray for doctors and nurses and hospitals. We pray for the schools that are
7:07
shutting down for a couple of days because of sickness and illness.
7:11
We pray for our family members to get over this crazy virus that's been going around.
7:16
And finally, Lord, we ask you to pray for each and every person that comes along
7:22
and maybe listens to Have Faith, let it begin just once.
7:25
And if they're inspired, and if they're feeling like the faith has got a hold
7:29
of them, may the Holy Spirit grab hold of you.
7:32
May it hug you. May it shine upon you and give you peace on earth.
7:37
And finally, we say thank you, Lord, for all that you continue to do for us.
7:42
May God be with you. May he shine his light upon you and grant you peace on
7:47
earth. And never forget, have faith.
7:50
