- 0:11Speaker 2: This week on your gabble gabble.
- 0:13Speaker 3: If your sister's girlfriend says she'll work carpentry to pay
- 0:16Speaker 3: off a loan she owes you, can you take that
- 0:19Speaker 3: money for when she doesn't finish the job.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Judge Mabelee's here to give us a history less hand.
- 0:23Speaker 4: And if a buddy of yours says that you're a
- 0:25Speaker 4: terrible magician, can you assume him for the money or
- 0:28Speaker 4: is that money already disappeared?
- 0:30Speaker 1: Judge Jerry tells us.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Real baby cases, fake just this.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Gabble of your gabble gabl stuff. I'm damn it's great
- 0:52Speaker 4: to be here today. Back in the chambers. The chambers
- 0:55Speaker 4: are freezing today. It's a freezing and our hands are tied.
- 1:00Speaker 4: That's right, just like uh we said, give it to us,
- 1:04Speaker 4: that's right, let us have control. Ah boy, I'm heading
- 1:09Speaker 4: it over to Judge Jerry's.
- 1:12Speaker 2: For good buddy.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Just like Judge Jerry, he is over and out.
- 1:17Speaker 3: My god, come on too soon, man.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Just not a couple of years and it was Jerry Springer.
- 1:24Speaker 3: He kind of launched a whole era of just trash television,
- 1:27Speaker 3: not the best, so over and out Jared, I went
- 1:31Speaker 3: to Judge Jerry.
- 1:32Speaker 1: You went to Judge Maybelin. Maybe it is that is real?
- 1:36Speaker 2: Short, how about I get it out of the way,
- 1:37Speaker 2: hit me.
- 1:38Speaker 4: I want to introduce you to there's this two people here,
- 1:41Speaker 4: one named Nick, one name Nicky, Nick and Nicky. It's
- 1:45Speaker 4: Nicholas and Nikola Nicholas. And so we're gonna go with
- 1:48Speaker 4: magic Nick and regular Nick, Magic magic Nick suing or
- 1:52Speaker 4: magic magic Nick is suing regular Nick for one hundred
- 1:57Speaker 4: and fifty dollars.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Wow, this is big money, that's right. Magic Nick is
- 2:02Speaker 1: you guessed it. A magician. He's been doing magic since
- 2:06Speaker 1: he was five years old.
- 2:06Speaker 3: We get to see a cute video of him doing
- 2:09Speaker 3: magic of the five wheeld give him the money, gets
- 2:11Speaker 3: the gets a bunny out of a hat.
- 2:14Speaker 4: It's a it's a it's a stuffed animal bunny. So yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 4: it's not a real one because he was five. He's
- 2:18Speaker 4: not five anymore though.
- 2:19Speaker 3: So just a normal pull real bunnies now. I don't know, okay,
- 2:24Speaker 3: I don't know about that.
- 2:24Speaker 2: And you get there.
- 2:25Speaker 4: He says that he is suing regular Nick for one
- 2:29Speaker 4: hundred and fifty dollars. He says that regular Nick went
- 2:32Speaker 4: up and told a group of people that magic Nick
- 2:36Speaker 4: is the worst magician in the world. And he claims
- 2:40Speaker 4: that it's screwed amount of potential gigs, the two of
- 2:45Speaker 4: the magicians in the world. It's tough, he says, pretty much.
- 2:51Speaker 4: A defamation suit, Yes, it is, hundred and fifty dollars,
- 2:55Speaker 4: claiming that that defamation screwed him out of a gig.
- 2:59Speaker 4: He says that the two of them met as background
- 3:01Speaker 4: actors on the set of a zombie TV show, Zombie
- 3:05Speaker 4: Rob Thomas w Yeah, who can say, or walking walking dead,
- 3:08Speaker 4: don't know, we don't know, we don't know. They were
- 3:12Speaker 4: on step for four days and they didn't have their
- 3:15Speaker 4: phones on them, so they were forced to talk to
- 3:17Speaker 4: the other background actors, you know, as you do. And Nick,
- 3:21Speaker 4: the Knicks, as I like to call them, became friends
- 3:24Speaker 4: with each other, the.
- 3:25Speaker 1: New York Nicks. That's good. That's really, it's really good.
- 3:31Speaker 3: It's freezing though, it's so cold, so cold, the laughing
- 3:36Speaker 3: out laughter makes it feel good.
- 3:38Speaker 2: So uh.
- 3:39Speaker 4: They became buddies though, and unfortunately though they don't get
- 3:43Speaker 4: to hang out very often. Regular Nick travels a lot
- 3:46Speaker 4: for work, but when they can't hang out, they they
- 3:49Speaker 4: do hang out. They like having fun with each other.
- 3:51Speaker 4: So magic Nick goes, uh goes to a party and
- 3:55Speaker 4: regular Nick is there.
- 3:56Speaker 1: They're excited to see each other. They're catching up. Regular
- 3:58Speaker 1: Nick is.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Pound in the drinks, Pound of the Drinks, and Magic
- 4:02Speaker 4: Nick goes over to a group of people and he
- 4:04Speaker 4: starts to do a card trick. Regular Nick then speaks
- 4:09Speaker 4: up and says that he never knows when it's the
- 4:12Speaker 4: right time to do magic. He always just does it,
- 4:15Speaker 4: whether or not the opportunity calls for it. Magic Nick
- 4:20Speaker 4: always does magic, and magic Nick goes just Jerry, you
- 4:23Speaker 4: want to see some magic.
- 4:25Speaker 1: He does a trick.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Of course he does.
- 4:27Speaker 1: It's one of those was this your cards?
- 4:30Speaker 4: And then it's like, no, that wasn't my card, and
- 4:31Speaker 4: he's like, well, that's because it's it's a whole thing.
- 4:35Speaker 4: That was most of the case. That was most of
- 4:37Speaker 4: the case, yes, and so I'm not going to explain
- 4:39Speaker 4: it to you. Magic Nick says that at the party,
- 4:44Speaker 4: he's doing the trick to this group of people and
- 4:46Speaker 4: they seem very interested in what he's doing.
- 4:49Speaker 1: They're very into the magic.
- 4:51Speaker 4: So after he does his trick, he does what he
- 4:53Speaker 4: normally does and he hands out business cards and lets
- 4:57Speaker 4: him know that he is available for hire for different
- 5:00Speaker 4: He does a lot of events where he goes and
- 5:01Speaker 4: he just kind of walks around does magic for people
- 5:04Speaker 4: at parties and whatnot. Crat He usually charges one hundred
- 5:06Speaker 4: and fifty dollars for a two hour It's a steal, man,
- 5:09Speaker 4: it is maybe we should get in for Bramblefest, ummm
- 5:12Speaker 4: for the casino night.
- 5:14Speaker 3: So uh.
- 5:16Speaker 4: As he's handing out the business cars, regular Nick stumbles over,
- 5:21Speaker 4: clearly drunk and says he's the worst magician in the world.
- 5:26Speaker 4: Don't hire him, man, And all these people then just
- 5:29Speaker 4: walk away awkwardly. They don't want to be around this situation.
- 5:32Speaker 4: They could pick up on the tension. Magic Nick is like,
- 5:35Speaker 4: if I wanted to assume him for thousands of dollars,
- 5:38Speaker 4: I could because every event that I do I end
- 5:40Speaker 4: up getting more business. So who knows how much business
- 5:43Speaker 4: is looks it's thing, but I am not doing that.
- 5:47Speaker 4: I'm just suing for one event. These people were very
- 5:49Speaker 4: interested in my magic. One of them was for sure
- 5:52Speaker 4: gonna hire me. Regular next says I owe him nothing.
- 5:55Speaker 4: I owe him nothing. There is no proof, first of all,
- 5:58Speaker 4: that anyone was atally going to hire him, because here's
- 6:01Speaker 4: the thing. In my experience, people will say anything to
- 6:05Speaker 4: get out of bad magic experiences. Okay, so he's over there,
- 6:10Speaker 4: he's doing matress, he's handing out cards, and sure maybe
- 6:12Speaker 4: one of them was.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Like, oh this is cool, maybe I'll call you. They don't.
- 6:15Speaker 1: They just wanted to get out of the contention. That's
- 6:17Speaker 1: all they wanted to do. He says.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Listen, I was excited to see my friend that night,
- 6:21Speaker 4: hadn't seen him in a while. But every time we
- 6:23Speaker 4: hang out he tries to turn it into a business venture.
- 6:26Speaker 4: He starts doing magic tricks, he starts handing out business cards,
- 6:30Speaker 4: and I was frustrated in the moment. I went over
- 6:33Speaker 4: there and I joked about him being a bad magician.
- 6:36Speaker 3: But he doesn't meant to be. In having a few,
- 6:39Speaker 3: he doesn't say anything. Okay, he doesn't say anything.
- 6:41Speaker 4: He just basically wants him to know that he was
- 6:43Speaker 4: excited to spend time with his friend and his friend
- 6:46Speaker 4: was not hanging out with him. Instead, he was trying
- 6:49Speaker 4: to get business magic. Nick says, at the end of
- 6:52Speaker 4: the day, he slandered me. He said I was a
- 6:54Speaker 4: bad magician. I'm not a bad magician, and he screwed
- 6:58Speaker 4: me out of gigs.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Jerry's right rule, I think you got to give Nick
- 7:02Speaker 3: the money. I think that regular old Nick, regular Nick
- 7:06Speaker 3: admits what he did, and that is slander and he's
- 7:11Speaker 3: in court for one hundred and fifty bucks. Obviously, you're
- 7:14Speaker 3: entitled your opinion, but it seemed it seemed like this
- 7:18Speaker 3: is not the time nor the place, and you were drunk.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Gotta give them money.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Judge, Jerry says, As entertainers, we want to perform or
- 7:25Speaker 4: perform for anybody for anything, right, and people are entitled
- 7:29Speaker 4: to their opinions about those performances.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's crazy to think that there were.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Some people that didn't like my old show and they
- 7:37Speaker 4: would say things about my old show.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I can't believe people no problem with Jerry Springer's show.
- 7:42Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 7:43Speaker 3: But at the end of the day, they are entitled
- 7:45Speaker 3: to those opinions, and since you didn't actually have any
- 7:49Speaker 3: contracts for gigs, at the end of the day, this
- 7:52Speaker 3: is just an opinion.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Wow, no money.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I've seen too many real cases of defamation where Athos
- 8:00Speaker 3: explains it that I'm like, that's defamation and that you should.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Get your money.
- 8:03Speaker 3: He says again, this is not a judge. Jerry's not
- 8:06Speaker 3: a judge. He's not a judge.
- 8:07Speaker 4: But he does say under the law that that this
- 8:09Speaker 4: wouldn't be defamation.
- 8:10Speaker 1: But for what it's worth, he does throw it and
- 8:12Speaker 1: he definitely knows.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I could have.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I could see it going both ways. It's you listen.
- 8:18Speaker 4: At the end of the day, he went up to
- 8:19Speaker 4: a group of people and he's and he said that
- 8:21Speaker 4: his friend is a bad magician.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I think I would have given him the money.
- 8:25Speaker 2: But I would have given him the money.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Jerry says, sir, you're you're in the entertainment game. A
- 8:30Speaker 4: buckle up, buddy, is a world of disappointment, over and over.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Over and over again.
- 8:35Speaker 1: What do you got?
- 8:36Speaker 3: I'm over a Judge Mabelene. Justice for All with Judge Mabelen.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Maybe charote, maybe Charlotte Montgomery is suing Hailey Bennett for
- 8:44Speaker 3: twenty four hundred dollars now thought she might. It is
- 8:47Speaker 3: pertinent to this case, and you will see why later
- 8:49Speaker 3: that I tell you the race of all of these women.
- 8:52Speaker 3: It is pertinent, Okay, Judge Mabelene African American woman, Charlotte Montgomery,
- 8:56Speaker 3: African American woman, Hailey Bennett, Caucasian woman.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Okay, you need to know that right now.
- 9:01Speaker 2: I promise you.
- 9:01Speaker 1: You're going to want to know that the woman being
- 9:03Speaker 1: sued is white.
- 9:04Speaker 2: The woman being sued is white.
- 9:05Speaker 3: You're gonna need to know that because if you don't,
- 9:07Speaker 3: it could get really awkward later.
- 9:10Speaker 2: And I'm just helping you out.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Okay, great.
- 9:13Speaker 2: This is one of these.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Things where it does not benefit to just watch the gabble,
- 9:16Speaker 3: even though I say in most cases it does just
- 9:18Speaker 3: to listen to the gal, but watching the case mayhelp.
- 9:21Speaker 3: So Charlotte says, Haley and I have known each other
- 9:23Speaker 3: for years because she's been dating my sister for years.
- 9:26Speaker 3: She just graduated from construction school. I didn't know that
- 9:29Speaker 3: was a term. I know that contractors get licensed, but
- 9:32Speaker 3: I didn't know you went to construction school.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Something new for me. Are they Are they friends or
- 9:36Speaker 1: she just knows her because she's dead.
- 9:38Speaker 3: She's known her for years because she's dated her sister
- 9:40Speaker 3: and she's very close with her sister. She's like, I
- 9:42Speaker 3: just bought a house for a really good deal. I'm
- 9:44Speaker 3: basically remodeling the whole house. I hired a contractor to
- 9:47Speaker 3: do it.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Amazing.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Haley asked me for a loan, and I wasn't going
- 9:52Speaker 3: to give her the money because Hailey's been with my
- 9:53Speaker 3: sister a while and I know how bad she is
- 9:55Speaker 3: with money. But I thought this guy needs help. The
- 9:58Speaker 3: contractor said he needed help. I thought, hey, it would
- 10:00Speaker 3: be a good fit, and so basically I hired her
- 10:03Speaker 3: to be an assistant contractor for thirteen dollars an hour.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Maybeling's like, so you were paying her thirteen dollars an hour.
- 10:08Speaker 3: She's like, no, I gave her a loan and then
- 10:11Speaker 3: she was working to pay it off at thirteen dollars
- 10:15Speaker 3: an hour, eight hours a day, and then I was
- 10:19Speaker 3: taken aback when she stopped working two weeks into the
- 10:23Speaker 3: job and she didn't come back. And Mabeling was like, okay,
- 10:26Speaker 3: well how much did she borrow? And Charlotte's like, she
- 10:30Speaker 3: borrowed twenty five hundred for her car initially. I loaned
- 10:32Speaker 3: her two hundred dollars more the next week, and then
- 10:35Speaker 3: she needed one thousand more for bills, and Maybeling's like,
- 10:38Speaker 3: why do you keep lending her money when you know
- 10:40Speaker 3: that she's not good with money. She didn't pay it back.
- 10:42Speaker 3: She's like, well, she wanted the job. She was just finished.
- 10:47Speaker 3: She's a construction school. Seemed like a no brainer. She
- 10:50Speaker 3: would do this work on my house, work off the loan.
- 10:53Speaker 3: We're good to go. And I helped my sister out
- 10:55Speaker 3: all the time, and so she probably felt comfortable asking
- 10:58Speaker 3: me because she's been dating my shister for a long
- 10:59Speaker 3: time time.
- 11:00Speaker 2: And so I learned.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Pretty good gig though, because you know, you're fresh out
- 11:04Speaker 4: of constructor yeah school, and so you get a gig, right,
- 11:12Speaker 4: and with that gig, you know you're able to get
- 11:15Speaker 4: rid of all the debt you have.
- 11:16Speaker 1: This is nice, This is nice.
- 11:18Speaker 3: So basically she had under thirty seven hundred dollars over
- 11:21Speaker 3: the course of a couple of months. And then she said,
- 11:22Speaker 3: I did draw up a contract and Mabeling goes finally,
- 11:26Speaker 3: and she says, I dropped one for a loan agreement
- 11:28Speaker 3: and one for a contract of employment. She goes, you
- 11:30Speaker 3: know those are two different things, and Charlotte' said yes, sir, yes, ma'am.
- 11:34Speaker 2: So she she's.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Basically doing well though, because she's she's building new place and.
- 11:39Speaker 1: She's handing out money.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Well where it gets a little wonky, Charlotte goes, well,
- 11:44Speaker 3: she'stop working because she said she felt uncomfortable in the situation.
- 11:47Speaker 2: And I own my business.
- 11:48Speaker 3: I know how hard it is to work, and but
- 11:50Speaker 3: I was there regularly supervising. I never saw anything that
- 11:53Speaker 3: would make me think it was not a good working environment.
- 11:57Speaker 3: And Mabeling goes, so, I want to be clear. She
- 11:59Speaker 3: went to work and was working purely to pay off
- 12:04Speaker 3: a debt. You didn't give her the money for working.
- 12:08Speaker 3: She had already gotten the money. She goes, yeah, she goes,
- 12:11Speaker 3: that's involuntary servitude.
- 12:13Speaker 2: That's illegal.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Oh, Charlotte goes, well, I was paying her thirteen dollars
- 12:18Speaker 3: an hour. And she goes, you know what, involuntary slavery.
- 12:22Speaker 3: You know you've heard of that term, right, you can't
- 12:27Speaker 3: do that. This is black woman to black woman, right, yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 3: about the yeah, the white woman.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Yeah, And this is.
- 12:36Speaker 3: A whole history of After slavery is made illegal, they
- 12:38Speaker 3: changed it to an involuntary service as well, because tenant
- 12:41Speaker 3: farming and sharecropping was such a big thing where it's
- 12:43Speaker 3: like you could you'll never get out of debt, you
- 12:44Speaker 3: just keep working and never get any money, right, And
- 12:46Speaker 3: you're like, that's illegal, you can't do that, right, So
- 12:51Speaker 3: at this point Haley. White woman pops in and goes,
- 12:55Speaker 3: you're on her ouse, stick up for Charlotte here. I
- 12:58Speaker 3: did want to do this job, just finished construction school.
- 13:01Speaker 3: This was a chance to learn, there was a chance
- 13:04Speaker 3: to get on the job experience, and there was a
- 13:06Speaker 3: chance to increase my experience and have my resume. So
- 13:09Speaker 3: it was an agreement that I agreed to. Basically, the
- 13:12Speaker 3: white woman comes in, It's like, can we make me
- 13:14Speaker 3: less uncomfortable? Please, whatever you need to do to do
- 13:16Speaker 3: it to please sto't Field for Mabel went hard at
- 13:20Speaker 3: this woman and accused her of being a slave mastered.
- 13:23Speaker 1: It was wild.
- 13:24Speaker 2: It was a wild because this.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Like I imagine this type of deal happens on a regular
- 13:30Speaker 4: basis with people that you know owe their friends.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, a little bit of money.
- 13:34Speaker 3: I think the way it was like we see this
- 13:36Speaker 3: in this in gab all the time. And Hayley's like
- 13:39Speaker 3: it was more of an advance and I asked for
- 13:40Speaker 3: an advance on my paycheck.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 13:43Speaker 3: I wasn't working all a debt. Like she really comes
- 13:46Speaker 3: to arrest and uh and Mabeling's like, sounds like you
- 13:49Speaker 3: were just using her as a bank. And she goes she.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Said, well, what were What did you do?
- 13:53Speaker 3: She's like, well, I do carpenter is my main thing,
- 13:55Speaker 3: and I was working on the shelves in her house,
- 13:57Speaker 3: doing the shelving units. And she said, but I also
- 13:59Speaker 3: helped the tracted with paperwork, and I thought it was
- 14:01Speaker 3: my dream job. And it quickly became a nightmare. From
- 14:04Speaker 3: day one, I was sexually harassed by the contractor and.
- 14:07Speaker 2: The rest of the crew.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I told him, was she the only woman on Yes,
- 14:11Speaker 1: she's because.
- 14:11Speaker 2: The only woman on the side.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I told him I wasn't interested in men, that I
- 14:15Speaker 3: was a lesbian, and they had all kinds of responses,
- 14:18Speaker 3: cat calling, saying inappropriate things, and I just couldn't handle anymore.
- 14:23Speaker 3: And I didn't think it was a good work environment
- 14:25Speaker 3: and I left. Now a couple of things you need
- 14:27Speaker 3: to know, Well, Mabelne says, when did you did this
- 14:31Speaker 3: happen from the beginning? She says, yes, And then she said,
- 14:33Speaker 3: when did you tell Charlotte? She said, I thought I
- 14:35Speaker 3: could handle it, but after a week I knew I
- 14:37Speaker 3: needed to tell Charlotte, and Charlotte disregarded this. So a
- 14:41Speaker 3: couple interesting things going to happen here the rest of
- 14:43Speaker 3: the way. Number one, Mabeling, to a lesser extent, Charlotte
- 14:47Speaker 3: is going to disregard all of this woman's claims of
- 14:49Speaker 3: sexual harassment, which is just crazy. It's just crazy that
- 14:54Speaker 3: they don't believe her at all. Mabelene's gonna Mabelinge's gonna
- 14:58Speaker 3: be like, well, it's gonna get But Charlotte's like, this
- 15:01Speaker 3: didn't happen. She's gonna take She's basically gonna take the
- 15:04Speaker 3: side of the construction men construction workers over some a
- 15:07Speaker 3: female she's known for years and years. Okay, She's like,
- 15:10Speaker 3: your honor, that isn't true. She told me about this.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I spoke with them. The contractor looked me dead in
- 15:16Speaker 3: the eye. He said nothing happened. He said that Haley
- 15:18Speaker 3: was lazy, she didn't do anything. She was always talking back,
- 15:22Speaker 3: she was there to learn, she wasn't working. And then
- 15:25Speaker 3: he drew up paperwork saying that there was no there
- 15:29Speaker 3: was no instance of sexual harassment. Had everyone his cruise
- 15:32Speaker 3: signed it and they got it notarized, right, okay. Haley
- 15:36Speaker 3: then says, well, in the second week after Charlotte disregarded me,
- 15:39Speaker 3: I actually have a recording of an instance that where
- 15:43Speaker 3: I complained and she did nothing now.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Oh, she doesn't have a recording of the actual Yeah,
- 15:48Speaker 4: she had a recording of the harassment.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Oh, and I need you to know something. Sexual arrassment's
- 15:51Speaker 3: not funny. Funny believe women trying to reenact sexual harassment
- 15:57Speaker 3: on a construction site in a courtroom kind of funny. Okay,
- 16:01Speaker 3: And it's kind of funny because you can see it's
- 16:04Speaker 3: clearly fake. This tape is clearly fake. I don't know
- 16:08Speaker 3: if the actors are fake. This tape is fake, okay,
- 16:11Speaker 3: And there the crowd knows it's serious, but also is
- 16:16Speaker 3: trying not to laugh, like it's like back there, like
- 16:19Speaker 3: And the reason the clip is so unbelievably ridiculous is
- 16:23Speaker 3: is the noises that they use for construction.
- 16:26Speaker 2: It's just like this one thing going thingdingdingding thing thing think.
- 16:30Speaker 3: And then you hear a word and then the voice
- 16:33Speaker 3: is like the voice of the dude doing the sexual
- 16:36Speaker 3: harassment is way louder than all the noise on the site.
- 16:39Speaker 3: So you just hear like thing thing thing, thing, were
- 16:41Speaker 3: thing thing thing in the background and he's like, hey girl,
- 16:44Speaker 3: why don't you get up? Like he's like like that
- 16:47Speaker 3: that is what the tape is. It's clearly an actor,
- 16:50Speaker 3: it's clearly sounds that have been pumped in. It's the
- 16:52Speaker 3: fakest thing in the world and I hate that, but
- 16:55Speaker 3: it is funny. It is funny in the in the
- 16:58Speaker 3: quarter of ball.
- 16:58Speaker 4: It's a pope like, So, how does to judge Mabelane
- 17:02Speaker 4: handle it?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Though she is like, this doesn't sound real, mane.
- 17:05Speaker 3: This is where I have a problem. Is is if
- 17:07Speaker 3: we're all supposed to believe that it's real, which I
- 17:10Speaker 3: think we are, even though the whole audience is trying
- 17:13Speaker 3: to out laugh. If we're supposed to believe this is
- 17:15Speaker 3: real because it's a real case, and sexual harassment is real,
- 17:19Speaker 3: and we should believe women that there would be no
- 17:21Speaker 3: reason for them to lie about this. Mabelen's response is
- 17:24Speaker 3: wholly unacceptable. Okay, she hears the tape and she goes, so,
- 17:28Speaker 3: how are you going to pay her back? That's what
- 17:30Speaker 3: she says. Oh, wow, what's your plan? How are you
- 17:33Speaker 3: going to pay her back? Tell me you got a plan?
- 17:35Speaker 3: What's your plan? She doesn't say I'm sorry, she doesn't
- 17:38Speaker 3: say you should sue these guys. She just goes that
- 17:41Speaker 3: tape's great, what's your plan? And Haley goes, well, I'm
- 17:45Speaker 3: more than happy to get another job and pay her back.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I told her I'd do some other work for her
- 17:51Speaker 3: without the contractor. She refused that immediately, so then we
- 17:54Speaker 3: find out she worked basically thirteen hundred dollars worth. She
- 17:58Speaker 3: still owes twenty four hundred dollars. Hayley's like, I'm currently
- 18:01Speaker 3: looking for another job. The weather's been really bad. Construction
- 18:04Speaker 3: jobs are tough to find right now, but as soon
- 18:06Speaker 3: as I find one, I'll start paying her. But I
- 18:08Speaker 3: also have to pay my own bills too, so it
- 18:10Speaker 3: would not be at the same rate it would be
- 18:12Speaker 3: if I was just doing the work and giving her
- 18:14Speaker 3: all of the money. Mabeling gives a whole speech about
- 18:17Speaker 3: how people that borrow money are never out for the
- 18:20Speaker 3: person that lend them the money, like she basically comes
- 18:22Speaker 3: down the side of big big loaner.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I guess in all of that, but now she's ready
- 18:27Speaker 2: to rule.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Well, it sounds like she's gonna give her the money.
- 18:30Speaker 4: So uh, there's that, and it sounds like, you know,
- 18:34Speaker 4: it seems like she wants to pay back the money
- 18:37Speaker 4: but would just need some time. If it was me,
- 18:39Speaker 4: I would structure the payments in the courtroom to help
- 18:44Speaker 4: make sure that the payment actually happens. I doubt that's
- 18:46Speaker 4: what's gonna happen. I think she's just gonna say you have.
- 18:48Speaker 3: To pay, Yeah, she says, I hope she looks at
- 18:51Speaker 3: Charlotte says, I hope you've learned your lesson about lending
- 18:53Speaker 3: her and your sister money. Oh, stop doing it. Stop
- 18:56Speaker 3: lending your sister money like it is as cold heart.
- 19:00Speaker 3: I was shocked by this.
- 19:02Speaker 4: I have a feeling made Elina is maybe uh coming
- 19:05Speaker 4: to some money herself and had some people take advantage
- 19:08Speaker 4: of her.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I think maybe that's some projecting. The complete disregard
- 19:13Speaker 3: of the sexual harassment was crazy to me. It's a wildcase.
- 19:18Speaker 3: It's a wild gavel, no doubt about it. She gets
- 19:20Speaker 3: some money, she gets some money. All twenty four hundred.
- 19:21Speaker 1: There you go, We did everybody.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Congratulations being back next time with another gavel. Until then,
- 19:28Speaker 4: all Rise.
