- 0:00Hey, everybody, it's Jeff. We wanted to let you know that we're
- 0:02recording this podcast episode on Tuesday, November twenty eighth, twenty twenty three.
- 0:07By the time you hear this, some things may have changed, but we
- 0:09hope you enjoy the show. All right, folks, welcome to Opposition Territory
- 0:39here at the Philadelphia Sports Table podcast show, the longest running weekly Philly sports
- 0:42podcast show in the world, that's right over ten and a half years strong.
- 0:46We got a great discussion coming your way here on Opposition Territory. Hope
- 0:50you have been enjoying the content. As of late, man, we have
- 0:52had some great discussions on our table talk show Opposition Territory and our regular show.
- 0:58Our Eagles postgame podcasts have been absolutely lit. Of course, since this
- 1:02team is ten and one heading into Week thirteen. In this matchup against the
- 1:07San Francisco forty nine Ers, we're gonna get into some forty nine Ers talk
- 1:10with regard to this preview. We have got a great guest, a really
- 1:14great friend of mine. Let's just get to that discussion right now. It's
- 1:18great to have back on the podcast, coming to us from Fox Sports Radio
- 1:21of the Lehigh Valle. You can follow him on the Twitter dot com And
- 1:25honestly, folks, I don't even know how much longer I'm gonna be on
- 1:27there. I know I've been saying it a few times, but I'm telling
- 1:30you it's getting really rough. Anyway, that's a conversation for another time.
- 1:34At Mike Raymond LV on Twitter, we've got the one and only Mike Raymond.
- 1:38How you doing, buddy, They're basically what you're telling me is I'm
- 1:42going to have to invest the time and developing my what was the thing called
- 1:46threads? Threads? Yeah, now you gotta get on threads. I actually
- 1:52just I actually wrote something on threads, or I should say, micro blogged
- 1:57on threads, and it's something with regard to the Eagles, and I got
- 2:01a decent amount of traction, a lot more than it did on Twitter,
- 2:05to be honest. So I I'm so tired of the platform. I'm tired
- 2:08of what comes in front of my face, like the people that I follow,
- 2:12Like, for instance, Mike, I've been following you for years,
- 2:15years and years, and your stuff doesn't come up in my feed ever,
- 2:19even in my follow feed, it never comes up. I'm not gonna I
- 2:22just it's like, why am I here? Why am I doing this?
- 2:25I get it. I understand there's frustrations and there's so many different social media
- 2:30platforms. Which one do you invest all your time into? Is the exact
- 2:34million dollar questions? Exactly? Well, I gotta tell you I'm investing some
- 2:38time into figuring out who may potentially win this matchup this coming week, Week
- 2:43thirteen. Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco forty nine Ers. No, you very
- 2:46much follow the forty nine ers so very closely, which is why I want
- 2:50to have you on the Opposition Territory pod here to preview this matchup. Man,
- 2:54Mike. These are two powerhouse teams going up against each other. It's
- 2:59a match of last year's NFC Championship game and hopefully is going to actually be
- 3:05like a true a true performance from both sides of the offense, both sides
- 3:09of the defense, without any devastating injuries. And I think what's interesting about
- 3:15this matchup is, you know, you look at the dynamics throughout the league,
- 3:19AFC and the NFC, and things have altered so much this season that
- 3:23the AFC, you know, they were coming into this season, they were
- 3:25supposed to be the powerhouse conference. But now it's the NFC who appears to
- 3:30be just more dominant. Of course, with the Eagles, forty nine Ers,
- 3:35Dallas Cowboys, even the Detroit Lions. For God's sake, you know
- 3:38who would have thought that even just a few years ago. So I do
- 3:40wonder if this Eagles forty nine Ers game is going to be a precursor to
- 3:45a possible NFC championship rematch game here, what are your thoughts? Well,
- 3:52first thing, first, I think a lot of it is the AFC cannibalizing
- 3:54itself. I think there's a lot of good teams and also there's some teams
- 3:58that are just underperforming. We thought maybe the Chargers might turn the corner this
- 4:01year. No one expected the Bills to underperform the way they did, although
- 4:04you can argue they did not underperform on the road in Philadelphia. They just
- 4:09haven't been a good team in one score games. We've kind of seen that
- 4:12a little bit. But regardless, I would say in terms of, you
- 4:15know, the Eagles forty nine Ers December third matchup being a precursor to the
- 4:21NFC title game, I think if you ask any member of the forty nine
- 4:24Ers, that's exactly what they want. That's what that would exactly. They
- 4:28want to be able to beat the Eagles on the biggest stage possible. You
- 4:31know, it's interesting because you know, with that Bills win for the Eagles
- 4:36last week, they stay firmly in that number one seed. You know,
- 4:41the forty nine Ers are the number two, but they have three losses and
- 4:43with the Eagles only having won, well maybe if they lose to the Bills,
- 4:46you're playing, you know, for that first seed this week, and
- 4:49that's not as big of a deal. But if they were the Eagles were
- 4:51to win, excuse me, lose this week and then maybe the following week,
- 4:56maybe maybe we're having a different conversation. You know, they go on
- 4:58the road to Dallas. So if you ask the forty nine ers, they
- 5:01wanted this matchup. They felt they were ready for this matchup back in January.
- 5:06They thought if Brod Curdy was healthy and playing, that they would have
- 5:11won that game. They said it after the game and postgame press conference.
- 5:14You know, how much of that do I believe? You know, I
- 5:17was confident going into the game, but you saw have to prove it on
- 5:21the road in Philadelphia. So like there is that aspect of you could talk
- 5:26all you want, but it doesn't matter until you actually prove it. Yeah,
- 5:30but you know, it's interesting. You know, I mentioned the Cowboys
- 5:33coming up following the San Francisco the following week you have to travel to Dallas.
- 5:38I actually picked the Cowboys to beat the forty nine Ers in the NFC
- 5:41postseason this year. I feel like it's finally time for the Cowboys, you
- 5:45know, best two out of three, third time's charms, you know,
- 5:46whatever you want to say, But yeah, that was my preseason pick.
- 5:50You know, looking back, I don't know, it's interesting because as much
- 5:54as the Cowboys fumble on themselves, you know, when it matters the most,
- 5:59the forty nine ers, you know, it's only a matter of time
- 6:00until their game is kind of figured out. But anyway, in terms of
- 6:04this Sunday being the NFC title game precursor, I think any member of the
- 6:09quarter Niners would say that's exactly what they want. And Brock Purty is looking
- 6:12to make his mark in Philadelphia for sure, especially what happened in last year's
- 6:16NFC championship game. We love talking about opposing quarterbacks that opposed the Philadelphia Eagles,
- 6:24and specifically the defense Mike here on our Opposition Territory podcasts. And as
- 6:29we know, brock Perty only played against the Eagles last year in that NFC
- 6:31Championship for less than a quarter after he sustained a torn ligament in his elbow.
- 6:36And this is going to be a battle of two incredible quarterbacks, yet
- 6:42very very different quarterbacks in a sense. Brock Perty he's only had one fourth
- 6:48quarter comeback and drive in his very short career. Jalen Hurts has had four.
- 6:53So I'm wondering, as we're heading into this matchup again two very different
- 6:56quarterbacks, what strengths do you see brock Perty having this season where he could
- 7:00be the better quarterback this coming week and potentially beat this Eagus defense. Well,
- 7:06if you're looking for strengths, so I'll get to those of just a
- 7:10second. You're also just I wanted to kind of full disclosure. I was
- 7:14not the biggest Rock Party fan. I kept being that guy and saying,
- 7:16hey, until he proves me otherwise, until he proves me otherwise, proves
- 7:19me otherwise, Well, you know how many times can I continue to say
- 7:24that? And he continues to do great things, and really the only shortcomings
- 7:29that Brock has had has been when the pieces around him are injured. So
- 7:32does that speak to him as being a great quarterback? Probably not, But
- 7:36he is meant to play in this offense, and we've seen guys like Jimmy
- 7:41Garoppolo excel in this offense. He was, you know, he's not the
- 7:45greatest quarterback. He saw what he really was when he went out to Vegas
- 7:47this year. So like, how bad was Kyle Shanahan masking that? So
- 7:51any quarterback that plays in a Kyle Shanahan system is going to have success,
- 7:56and it's exactly what Brock's having this year. We're talking about the number one
- 7:59player with top QBR in the league right now. He is the top in
- 8:03terms of completion percentage in the league. So he is throwing an average I
- 8:07think seventy percent completion. I thought it was, yeah, I thought it
- 8:11was a little over seventy percent completion. Actually yeah, I take it's seventy
- 8:13point seventy point two. I had it up earlier, seventy two point two,
- 8:18and that's just ahead of Dak Prescott and two A Taguaba Loa. So
- 8:20this guy when he goes back to pass, he is very efficient. He
- 8:24finds his targets, he finds his receivers, and a lot of that is
- 8:26the is the offense. Like we just mentioned with Kyle Shanahan, you know,
- 8:30right at the line of scrimmage, you're able to kind of find Deebo
- 8:31Samuel on those screen passes or you know, Christian McCaffrey on a screen pass.
- 8:37You know, there's a lot of weapons that you can distribute to right
- 8:39within the five yards of the line of scrimmage. And that's why Purdy is
- 8:41having the success he's done, because they're making it very easy for him to
- 8:45be successful. Now. I know we're going to talk a little bit more
- 8:48about what the Eagles can do to disrupt party, and we'll get to that
- 8:50in a little bit, but right now, you know, he has certainly
- 8:54showed up in a big way. He had a great primetime win on Thanksgiving
- 8:58against the Seahawks, and I have confidence that he's going to show up in
- 9:01this game because he thinks, well, I know the forty nine ers think
- 9:05that they should have won last time, but I think I want to see
- 9:09a full game with him against that Eagles defense. We know that Eagles defense
- 9:13has a history. I don't know if we could say that right now is
- 9:16at its top form and injuries contribute to that. But yeah, you know,
- 9:18I want to see him compete against that Eagles defense. I think it's
- 9:22going to be really interesting to see how he holds up, especially with this
- 9:24Eagles crowd. I mean, if this was out in San Francisco, quite
- 9:28frankly, Mike, I'd say it'd be a slam dunk that the forty nine
- 9:31ers probably win this game. Not too sure, just based on the crowd.
- 9:37And I think how the Eagles really want to rebound from an offensive perspective,
- 9:41and that's saying something given the fact that they just scored thirty seven points,
- 9:45But in terms of the first half offense, I know this team really
- 9:48wants to rebound and just kind of put it all together. And I know
- 9:52that from an offensive standpoint. With regard to the San Francisco forty nine Ers,
- 9:56you know, depending on what happens with his Eagles defense this coming week,
- 10:01you know, they could be down Fletcher Cox after he sustained a growing
- 10:05injury. Milton Williams one of the most I think underrated defensive linemen in the
- 10:09NFC. He didn't play this past week either. The Eagles rush defense has
- 10:13really been hurting over the past two weeks. The Chiefs they rushed for one
- 10:18hundred and sixty eight yards. The Bills rushed for over one hundred and seventy
- 10:20yards against this Eagles front that is supposed to be extremely plurific and plarific.
- 10:28Did I just mess up that word? Of course? Yes, thank you
- 10:31very much, dear. I've been talking too much today, all right,
- 10:35But really, when I look at the run defense of the Eagles, I
- 10:37see a certain gentleman in red and gold is going to be coming in and
- 10:41Christian McCaffrey, and I'm scared to death here. So are we gonna see
- 10:46another one hundred plus yard game? Do you think from Christian McCaffrey this week?
- 10:50Or do you think Brot Perdy is really gonna need to beat the Eagles
- 10:52through the air. How do you see this offense playing out for the San
- 10:56Francoisco forty nine ers. Yeah, when it comes to McCaffrey, he's gonna
- 10:58get his in terms of yardage. I wouldn't be concerned so much with yardage.
- 11:03I would be worried if he gets into the end zone. That's been
- 11:05the storyline for the last twenty some games. There's only been one game in
- 11:09the last twenty some games that he hasn't had a touchdown. But is that
- 11:11going to be the only piece that beats you With the forty nine ers,
- 11:15there's a lot of factor in. Just like Eagles offense, there's a lot
- 11:18of weapons that you have to factor in, which makes playing defense against them
- 11:20a little bit more difficult. I'm not necessarily worried about Christian McCaffrey in the
- 11:26run game. He'll always have holes to walk through because of that offensive line.
- 11:30And you know, Fletcher Cox's health for sure is going to factor in
- 11:33as to whether or not. And that's the one blessing that you guys do
- 11:37have. In terms of depth on that defensive line, there's a lot of
- 11:39guys that rotate in. But I know Jordan Davis has listed on the defensive
- 11:43injury report, so is Fletcher Cox, Zach Cunningham, I know Darius Leonard.
- 11:48I'm sorry Leonard from the Colt. I heard he might be coming into
- 11:50Philadelphia. I'm just hoping before, not before this run. But there's a
- 11:56lot there's a lot of depth on that defensive line. You mean Shimilton Williams
- 12:00and then you know, Jalen Carter has had big moments in the year,
- 12:03So you know, I feel like the forty nine ers are going to get
- 12:09some success on the ground, but it's going to be a team effort all
- 12:13the way around. It's going to be, you know, Kyle Shanahan getting
- 12:16the ball at the Brandon ayuk It's going to be Kyle Shanahan handing the ball
- 12:18off the Deebo. Samuel Jaywon Jennings is a guy that doesn't get nearly enough
- 12:24respect at the wide receiver spot. And then of course, when you forget
- 12:26about all that, hey, one of the best tight ends in the league
- 12:30in George Kittle, can pop and beat it deep. So there's a lot
- 12:33of things you have to factor and Christian MacCaffrey will get a majority of the
- 12:35eyeballs, but there's a lot of weapons. You mentioned one particular gentleman a
- 12:39weapon on this forty nine ers offense. So I really want to get into
- 12:43with you, Mike, because I think he's having such an underrated season and
- 12:48a season that has not talked about as much as I think it probably should
- 12:50be. And that's Brandon Ayuk Man. What a nice season he's having.
- 12:54He's continuing to grow and develop as a receiver. I mean, last year
- 12:58he averaged thirteen yards per reception. This season he's averaging the night. I
- 13:01think it's last time I checked, it was like nineteen point six yards per
- 13:05catch. I mean, it's pretty incredible how he has developed as a wide
- 13:09receiver in Kyle Shanahan's offense here. So what has his growing role really meant
- 13:15for the forty nine ers offense? And what are the Eagles defense really need
- 13:18to look out for when it comes to Brandon Ayuk. Yeah, Brandon Ayuk
- 13:22gives the ability to stretch the defense. He's that guy that Brock Party looks
- 13:26for on those deep balls, sometimes forces those balls into small windows. But
- 13:31Brandon Ayuk as a first round talent. I've continued to see him grow year
- 13:35after year, and I will tell you right now, Jeff, he was
- 13:39the reason I won my fantasy football league last year because he just came out
- 13:41of nowhere and just kept producing and producing. You know, he was just
- 13:46shy of one thousand yards this season, about five touchdowns, I believe,
- 13:48But yeah, he's that guy that Brock Party's going to find down the field,
- 13:52you know, Deebo Stanmuel is usually like under fifteen yards and then just
- 13:56let him, you know, juke his way for the extra yards to the
- 14:00catch. You know, I mentioned Jaywan Jennings, but like Brandon ay you
- 14:03truly is the deep threat in this offense, and he's the one that you're
- 14:07going to have to factor in, probably the guy, the guy that Darius
- 14:09Slay will probably line up on the other side of, and you know,
- 14:13being that number one versus number one. And I really think that Brandon Iyu
- 14:18is going to have his hands full with the defensive secondary with Philadelphia, which
- 14:20only has gotten better with Howie Rosen's acquisition fired this all during this season.
- 14:26So I think there's a lot of weapons at the fort and nine Ers have.
- 14:28I just don't know if their top end skill position guys like Ayu can
- 14:35really make a difference with that really great secondary that the Eagles have. Let's
- 14:39see, man, it's going to be a fantastic matchup for sure, and
- 14:41we're gonna get into some matchup talk here in just a bit again, folks,
- 14:45we're talking to Mike Raymond from Fox Sports Radio of the Lehigh Valley at
- 14:48Mike Raymond LV on Twitter. Where can they find Fox Sports Radio Lee HighValley
- 14:54on Twitter Mike at LB Fox Sports very good. You also do the sports
- 14:58Medicine found up on Saturday mornings on Fox Sports Radio the Lehigh Valley. How
- 15:03thing's been going with that. You've been having some good discussions, right,
- 15:05Yeah, it's it's been great. I mean it's one of the longest running
- 15:09Saturday morning shows in the Leigh Valley. So yeah, we do appreciate the
- 15:11support of Saint Luke's but yeah, it's a lot of fun. We actually
- 15:15just got done doing the East and Phillisburg game this year. This year it's
- 15:18a year number four for me and one of the best high school rivalries.
- 15:22Doing some play by play in my free time as well with the eleven Sports,
- 15:26So it's it's a fun time, especially when we get into winter months.
- 15:30You got wrestling, you got basketball too, so it's a busy time
- 15:33of the year. Well, you do a great job, buddy. It's
- 15:35why I wanted to have you on the podcast and to get into some matchups
- 15:39here. Matchups, matchups, matchups. Let's talk about here with with some
- 15:45of the forty nine ers vulnerabilities in terms of these matchups here. So when
- 15:50you think of where this forty nine ers offense has gone how it's grown they
- 15:56have, They've had some up and downs for sure. Where do you think
- 15:58the forty niners are most vulnerable from an offensive standpoint as they're looking at this
- 16:03matchup against the Eagles defense. Well, you got to go back to the
- 16:07NFC title game. What happened. You got pressure on Rock Party and once
- 16:11Rock Party isn't effective. You know, obviously injury contributed to his effectiveness this
- 16:15past time around in January. But you know, when you get pressure on
- 16:19rock Party and he's not able to distribute the ball the way he's you know,
- 16:22done this season, That's why I think you beat the forty nine ers.
- 16:26You have to worry about whether or not he can stay in that pocket,
- 16:32force him into making this bad decisions. Basically the same game plan as
- 16:37you did in the NFC title game. This is exactly what you have to
- 16:40do. You just have to get bodies in his face and make his job
- 16:44really difficult in the pocket. All right. On the opposite side of things
- 16:47here, where do you think the forty nine ers are most vulnerable on the
- 16:51defensive side of the ball as you're as you're looking at these matchups here,
- 16:56I'm probably going to point out safety just because I think we need to bring
- 17:00up the ACL injury to talanoa Hufunga, one of the guys who really is
- 17:03the heartbeat of this defense. You know, we talk about both. We
- 17:08talk about Fred Warner, one of the best linebackers in the league, but
- 17:12at safety, that guy who was that emotional heartbeat of this defense goes down
- 17:18and thrust rookie JayR. Brown into the spotlight. Yeah, obviously we know
- 17:23him from his time at Penn State and he's the guy who played a lot
- 17:27of football for the Nitney Lions. But you know, it's one thing to
- 17:30do it in the Big ten. It's another thing to do it in these
- 17:33big time games. So let's see what JayR. Brown's able to do.
- 17:37I know, initially when he got into the lineup, there were people that
- 17:41were targeting him, going after him, and there was a couple of bad
- 17:44plays on a drive, but he had already has an interception to his name.
- 17:48So that's the piece that I think if you're looking at the forty nine
- 17:52ers defense in that secondary. We always talk about the secondary and how it's
- 17:56a little bit underperforming, but that's the new and probably weakest spot that I
- 18:00would identify and at that safety. All right, very good, And another
- 18:06two part question for you as we kind of end things here and close things
- 18:11up, and after we get into this two part question, I do have
- 18:15something else I wanted to dive into with you really quick since you recently had
- 18:18me on Fox Sports radular Lehigh Valley to talk about a certain college football team.
- 18:22Wanted to get your take on that before before we stop recording. But
- 18:27again, another two part question for you here talking on what these teams are
- 18:32going to need to hit on for a win this week. What are the
- 18:34forty nine ers going to need to hit on this week for a win and
- 18:37give the Eagles their second loss of the season. What do you think that's
- 18:41going to be, Mike, Yeah, just continuing to stay on pace on
- 18:45offense, just making sure that you're extending drives, don't turn the ball over
- 18:52and give the Eagles free possessions. I mean it sounds simple, but really,
- 18:57when you're playing at top level talent in the NFL, I don't care
- 19:00if it's the Eagles, I don't care if it's the Chiefs or the Cowboys
- 19:04or whoever you want to say. You can't give free possessions to the opposite
- 19:08team, and that really can swing the momentum of a game. And you're
- 19:11already you know, in Philadelphia, you mentioned the home field advantage. You
- 19:17don't want that battle to continue to go uphill. Now, the best thing
- 19:21the forty nine Ers can do is take that crowd right out of it as
- 19:23soon as possible, you know, go up early and let the Eagles have
- 19:30to work their way back, similarly to how they did with the Bills.
- 19:33Remember the Eagles are coming off that game against the Chiefs where they had to
- 19:36work their way back, coming off the game against the Bills where they're going
- 19:38to have to work their way back, focusing on this forty nine Ers game,
- 19:42and then of course next week with the Cowboys, which we've already mentioned.
- 19:47Just just don't make the job harder than you need it to be,
- 19:49you know, take care of the ball. We know that the rock Perriy
- 19:53does do that. He's efficient when he passes the ball. Make sure that
- 19:56you're getting job, your ball to your playmakers, and just don't turn it
- 20:00over. And how do you take the crowd out of it? Folks?
- 20:03Big chunk plays. Eagle's been giving up some big chunk plays throughout this season,
- 20:07and San Francisco forty nine ers can definitely get some big chunk plays against
- 20:11his Eagles defense. So as we're concluding things here, Mike, what's the
- 20:15one thing the Eagles are going to need to hit on this week for a
- 20:18win against San Francisco forty nine ers. I think you just take advantage of
- 20:22the forty nine ers aggressiveness on defense. I think you saw what Buffalo did
- 20:26and listen to one other thing I want to say about Buffalo in the Eagles
- 20:30game last week. Buffalo was beat up on defense. They had multiple season
- 20:33ending injuries. They are not one hundred percent. So I think a guy
- 20:38like Fred Warner, I think he's going to be Jalen Hurt's mirror all day.
- 20:42Like I think you're just going to make sure that you mirror him Donald,
- 20:45allow him to beat you with his feet the way he did against Buffalo,
- 20:49and then for the Eagles on offense, just try to take advantage of
- 20:52that aggressiveness. You know, we talked about the weaknesses and the secondary,
- 20:56you know, try to do some play action passes. Try to you know
- 21:00mcinn screen passes with Bosa and the defensive line is getting uphill on you.
- 21:06It will then do a draw play. You know, there's I take advantage
- 21:08of that defense. We know that they're fast to the ball. We know
- 21:11they like to bite early. They want to make sure that you they shut
- 21:15down your running attack. They have the pieces to do it. But just
- 21:18take advantage of that aggressiveness, and that's how you beat the Cordonninners. All
- 21:22right, very good. Before we leave, Mike, I'm gonna shift directions
- 21:25a little bit here and ask you about the University of Michigan. I was
- 21:30on Fox Sports regular Lehigh Valley recently with you. You asked me to jump
- 21:33on. Thank you very much for that. It was a great opportunity to
- 21:37spew some some of my pure hatred for the University of Michigan Wolverines. And
- 21:45I got to tell you, it's amazing what has happened with this team.
- 21:48And something I said on that particular show with you was that, you know,
- 21:52I was concerned that the suspension of Harball was really gonna galvanize this team,
- 21:57and I think we've certainly seen that. I don't know what are your
- 22:00thoughts on where Michigan is at at this point, buddy, because I just
- 22:03wanted to ask you. You know, we don't talk too too much Penn
- 22:06State on this podcast outside of when you were on at times. So I
- 22:10just want to get your take here on this, because I actually have hatred
- 22:14in my heart now at this point for the Wolverines. What do you think,
- 22:18man, Well, it didn't have it didn't take the cheating scandal to
- 22:22have hatred in my heart against Michigan, I'll like, very true. Yeah,
- 22:25but yeah, it's leveled up for sure. And listen, I'm also
- 22:30trying to take it from an objective standpoint. You know, whether or not
- 22:36these things happened in college football, I'm sure they do. My whole thing
- 22:41was, you had all this overwhelming evidence, right, and they kept saying
- 22:45no, they kept saying, that's that we didn't do that, we didn't
- 22:48do that. And then all of a sudden, after all you put all
- 22:52that litigation out there, right right, you put it right back because you
- 22:56knew that the more that got exposed, the worst that it looked. And
- 23:00honestly, it was the right move because if they had continued on that path,
- 23:04I really think you're talking about vacation of championships, vacation of wins,
- 23:10you know, the Big ten didn't want Michigan to miss the postseason. It
- 23:12cost them tons of money. There's not a Big ten in the top ten
- 23:17team of the top four, so it's not a perfect system. And I
- 23:21just I get frustrated when you try to tell me that I'm wrong when I
- 23:25have all this evidence packed up against you and we know that what you did,
- 23:30and it just was irritating the whole Jim Harball and the Michigan versus the
- 23:33world thing, that's their only option, right, Like that's what they had
- 23:37to do, right, But like I can't say that I would change anything
- 23:41that they did. It's just the fact that I don't happen to agree with
- 23:45it. And it just seems like the cheaters still get away with Murphy here
- 23:48and who knows, Iowa can shock the world this weekend, Jeb let's let's
- 23:52get out of Iowah to shock the world this week. Let's get that defense
- 23:56to kick some butt for sure, right folks. Mike Raymond from Fox Sports
- 24:03Radio of the Lehigh Valley at Mike Raymond ELVI on the Twitter dot com Mike
- 24:07Buddy, it was great to see you come back. Join us. We'll
- 24:10talk Penn State, some Big ten forty nine Ers, NFL love talking to
- 24:15you man. Come back and join us down the road. Thanks, Jef.
- 24:18I know, I know, I know. I had to ask Mike
- 24:19about the University of Michigan. He had me on the radio recently, and
- 24:23we certainly got into a great, great discussion on air. But when it
- 24:29comes to the San Francisco forty nine Ers and Philadelphia Eagles game Week thirteen,
- 24:34I mean, I really think it's gonna be a close one. I mean,
- 24:37unless somebody gets injured, is gonna be another close game. We have
- 24:41been talking this season and early in this Eagles season about how this particular stretch
- 24:47of the schedule is going to look like so far, Thus far, the
- 24:51Eagles are winning. The Eagles are getting it done, Kansas City, Buffalo,
- 24:56They've beaten these top teams in the NFL. If you want to call
- 25:02the Buffalo Bill's a top team, I think Mike laid it out pretty well
- 25:04in terms of what that particular team has been dealing with this season. But
- 25:10they played the Eagles tough and the Eagles ended up coming out on top.
- 25:12So how is that going to translate into this particular game, this NFC Championship
- 25:19rematch from last year. It really is going to be, I think,
- 25:22a great game to watch, and we're going to be discussing the aftermath here
- 25:26on the PSD Podcast Show. Thanks so much for listening. Long time listeners,
