  I'm a former pole vaulter. I still bought a little bit, you

  know, I got to stay with the stay with the fun thing you

  love. And so I'm in sales on the east

  side of things and then I work a lot with the pacer and pole
• 1:10
  vault poles and any questions there?

  So what, you know, you were pole vaulter in college and you're
• 1:16
  kind of, I don't want to say a low key track nerd, but you're a
• 1:19
  track nerd. You know, you don't exude it too
• 1:21
  much, kind of keep you like to keep your composure there.

  But what was it like when through the interview process,
• 1:27
  coming out of college and going to work for Gill Athletics?
• 1:29
  Was it, was it was there standing neat about it?

  Or was it just like, I mean, I just needed a job.

  I was out of college. I mean, I definitely like, I had
• 1:37
  a good college job to where like I could have stayed in my
• 1:40
  college town and been at the beach for in a while, for a
• 1:43
  while, and I wanted to do something that I would be or
• 1:46
  love and excited to do. And so as a pole vaulter,
• 1:48
  getting to work in a track and field company was definitely
• 1:51
  something. I was very excited.
• 1:52
  That's cool, man. Well, we were definitely glad to
• 1:54
  have you and we're going to talk about what's upcoming here in a
• 1:57
  second though. But we're going to have a little
• 1:59
  fun. I've got to don't cheat.

  friend here, River, went to Coastal Carolina University and

  mention it at least once a show. I went to the greatest

  university in the world, Troy University and Troy University

  and Coastal Carolina University played the championship game.

  Actually, I'm not sure Coastal Carolina played, I think.

  Our offense played. You played second-half your

  offense first half, you ain't played, you ain't play at all.

  So now we're understanding how he graduated through college.

  pizza place where everybody met up at.

  of the best food is, no? I'm trying to think.

  I really don't think there was the Sonic.

  On the corner with the stoplight waffle.

  But there's a million of them. No bro.

  A friend of mine who's at UNLV now was complaining cuz there's

  no Waffle House in Las Vegas. Here's one actually is in

  Denver. I tweeted him and said, well,

  you can get up here in. Denver There's not one in
• 3:22
  Champagne and someone who's opened one by our office.
• 3:24
  There's not one in Champagne. Yeah, I love Waffle House.

  So River, you know not to put you in the spot because it's
• 3:30
  common knowledge. You joined us a little over a
• 3:33
  year ago and you are breaking my heart.

  You're leaving us to go to a really wonderful opportunity.

  I really am happy and proud of you, but I just kind of wanted
• 3:41
  to get it on paper, on wax here and just say, man, I'm just so
• 3:43
  proud of you. I don't like that you're
• 3:46
  leaving. You are a great addition to the
• 3:48
  team. What you created over this past
• 3:50
  year, year and a half, Ish, will continue to live on.

  What you created is sustainability in a lot of
• 3:55
  things, man, and I'm just so proud of you.

  I love you to death and I truly, selfishly hate that you're

  leaving. But I'm just, we're proud of you

  and what you're going to do in a bunch of other different
• 4:06
  industries and for your family and future family, man, it's
• 4:08
  going to be, it's going to be big and I can't wait to to just
• 4:10
  watch the journey from from the sidelines.
