- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to Hawk Talk with former Seahawks wide receiver
- 0:04Speaker 1: Michael Bumpus.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Powered by Seahawks.com. Now, here's your host, NASA Chobie. Welcome
- 0:12Speaker 2: to another edition of Hawk Talk.
- 0:13Speaker 1: The Seahawks looking to get back in the winning column
- 0:16Speaker 1: as they go back to Lumen Field.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Come on. Got the Los Angeles Chargers coming to town.
- 0:22Speaker 2: And some good news, Bump.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I'll get the show started right off with that update
- 0:25Speaker 1: on Julian Love. Julian Love returned to practice this week.
- 0:28Speaker 1: He practiced on Wednesday morning. And on Thursday, he also
- 0:30Speaker 1: went to the podium today, and he kind of talked
- 0:32Speaker 1: about what happened. His calf, you know, he tweaked it
- 0:35Speaker 1: last week during practice in a walkthrough. He's expecting to play.
- 0:39Speaker 1: He thinks he's going to play on Sunday. Well, obviously,
- 0:41Speaker 1: we're going to wait. We have to see how his
- 0:42Speaker 1: body responds today and tomorrow and all that stuff. But
- 0:44Speaker 1: he feels pretty good. He's expecting he's going to play,
- 0:47Speaker 1: and if he's back out there, I think this will
- 0:48Speaker 1: be a big lift for the Seahawks because he's been
- 0:50Speaker 1: playing at an all-pro level.
- 0:51Speaker 3: That's great news, man. He's the freelancer back there. Gets
- 0:54Speaker 3: guys lined up. I think the safeties in– you know,
- 0:57Speaker 3: substituting for him, did a good job. I don't think
- 0:59Speaker 3: they did a bad job. But there's nothing like having
- 1:02Speaker 3: your guy back there. So, J-Love, come on, get right.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Yeah, no, A.J. Finley did a great job.
- 1:06Speaker 1: He played 100% of the snaps last week against the Commanders. But, again,
- 1:09Speaker 1: you just said it. Julian Love, his instincts, you know,
- 1:13Speaker 1: we've seen him mic'd up in the Super Bowl, picking
- 1:15Speaker 1: off Drake May. Just the way plays that he makes
- 1:18Speaker 1: is just different. And he's a general out there. So,
- 1:20Speaker 1: we're excited to hopefully see Julian Love back on the
- 1:23Speaker 1: field as the Seahawks get ready to take on the
- 1:25Speaker 1: Los Angeles Chargers.
- 1:26Speaker 2: What's on tap? What's on tap? Oh, and three bump.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Not great. Oh, and three in the talented Justin Herbert
- 1:36Speaker 3: over there too. Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 1: We're going to get into Justin Herbert and all that.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But so they lost to the Cardinals 26, 14. I
- 1:41Speaker 1: think that was a big shocking one. So you think, okay,
- 1:43Speaker 1: they're gonna get back on their feet.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Nope.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Get shocked again by the same score, 26, 14 of
- 1:47Speaker 1: the Raiders. And then it was 24 to 16 against
- 1:49Speaker 1: the bills. So let's just recap this high level looking
- 1:52Speaker 1: at this chargers team, John Harbaugh or Jim Harbaugh, excuse me,
- 1:56Speaker 1: Goes to the Chargers, right, after winning a national championship
- 1:59Speaker 1: with the Michigan Wolverines last time we saw him. They
- 2:02Speaker 1: beat the Huskies in the national championship. Third year in SoCal, right?
- 2:05Speaker 1: He's gone to the playoffs twice, back-to-back, 11-6 records with
- 2:08Speaker 1: Justin Herbert. So big expectations. They haven't done well in
- 2:11Speaker 1: the playoffs. They kind of got blown out in those
- 2:13Speaker 1: two playoff games. But, yeah, they're expected to be really
- 2:16Speaker 1: good and really compete in that AFC West this year. Obviously,
- 2:20Speaker 1: the Chiefs coming off of injury with Patrick Mahomes, seeing
- 2:22Speaker 1: how they're going to do. Obviously, they're flourishing right now. Denver,
- 2:26Speaker 1: very close to the Super Bowl. Bo Nix comes back.
- 2:28Speaker 1: They seem to be pretty good right now. But this
- 2:30Speaker 1: Chargers team, Bum, not looking great. Bum, let's talk about
- 2:32Speaker 1: that Bills game.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah, man. The Bills turned the ball over five times
- 2:36Speaker 3: and lost the turnover battle 5-1, but somehow they still
- 2:39Speaker 3: won that football game. That doesn't make sense to me,
- 2:42Speaker 3: but football can be weird sometimes. The Bills outscored the
- 2:45Speaker 3: Chargers 14-3 in the fourth quarter, which was the difference.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Then the Chargers led 13-10, and Josh Allen fumbled on
- 2:51Speaker 3: their own 34-yard line but the Chargers could not take
- 2:54Speaker 3: advantage as Justin Herbert threw a pick on a ball
- 2:57Speaker 3: intended to MVS. Remember that guy. The Bills would then
- 3:00Speaker 3: go 13 plays for 58 yards, ending with a Josh
- 3:04Speaker 3: Allen rushing touchdown.
- 3:05Speaker 1: That made the score 17-13. Yeah, and again, Chargers, they
- 3:10Speaker 1: can't get out of their own way. They turn the
- 3:11Speaker 1: ball over on downs on the next possession, and this
- 3:12Speaker 1: is what put the nail in the coffin. James Cook
- 3:15Speaker 1: gets in the end zone, touchdown.
- 3:17Speaker 2: They go up.
- 3:18Speaker 1: They win the game. Josh Allen, he was 16-26, 204
- 3:20Speaker 1: yards left. Zero touchdowns, two interceptions. He did have two
- 3:25Speaker 1: rushing touchdowns. He didn't play his best football, obviously. But
- 3:28Speaker 1: James Cook, he's been balling. He's actually the last person
- 3:30Speaker 1: to rush for 100 yards against the Seahawks.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Really?
- 3:33Speaker 1: That's how long it's been. It was that long ago.
- 3:36Speaker 1: But he ran for 154 yards, 24 carries, and a touchdown.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Justin Herber, again, not great. 20 for 34, 226, one touchdown,
- 3:44Speaker 1: one interception. Ladman Conkey, four receptions, 66 yards. But, man,
- 3:48Speaker 1: look at this bump. Their Chargers offense had more punts, 10.
- 3:52Speaker 1: and committed more turnovers, six, than they scored touchdowns this year.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Wow. That's wow.
- 3:56Speaker 1: On Sunday, the Chargers managed a touchdown and three field
- 3:58Speaker 1: goals despite having six drives that ended inside the Buffalo
- 4:01Speaker 1: 30 bump.
- 4:02Speaker 2: No one expected this production because they hired Mike McDaniel.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Mike McDaniel had a lot of success with the Niners'
- 4:07Speaker 1: offensive coordinator. He goes down to Miami, kind of revives
- 4:12Speaker 1: Tua's career at the time, right? Gets them to the
- 4:14Speaker 1: playoffs a couple times. Obviously, things don't go his way there, but, man, it's–
- 4:21Speaker 1: I'm shocked, honestly. I thought that was a big hire.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I thought they'd be firing all cylinders, but the production
- 4:25Speaker 1: just isn't there.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I thought the weirdness of McDaniels and Harbaugh would be
- 4:29Speaker 3: perfect together. You know what I'm saying? They're both quirky guys.
- 4:31Speaker 3: They love the game. They study the game. But it's
- 4:34Speaker 3: just not working so far. Early in the season, but
- 4:36Speaker 3: numbers say when you go down 0 for 3, chances
- 4:39Speaker 3: of you making the playoffs are really slim. Let's look
- 4:41Speaker 3: at this head-to-head. All right, now the numbers are starting
- 4:43Speaker 3: to kind of shake. They're starting to make a bit
- 4:45Speaker 3: more sense now. Offensively, the Seahawks are 10th overall. The
- 4:50Speaker 3: Chargers are 20th. Running the ball, the Hawks are 18th.
- 4:53Speaker 3: The Chargers are 12th. Throwing the football, the Hawks are 4th.
- 4:56Speaker 3: The Chargers are 20th. And then points per game, the
- 4:58Speaker 3: Hawks are averaging 25 points per game. That's 13th. And
- 5:02Speaker 3: the Chargers, 14 per game. That is 29th. But the
- 5:05Speaker 3: defense is looking good. Yeah.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I mean, the defense, even though it felt like for
- 5:10Speaker 1: the Seahawks that the defense didn't perform at the level
- 5:12Speaker 1: we're used to seeing them at, the numbers tell a
- 5:14Speaker 1: different story. Mm-hmm. Number one in total defense in the
- 5:16Speaker 1: National Football League, giving up 228 yards per game. Sixth
- 5:19Speaker 1: against the run, 87 yards per game. First against the pass,
- 5:22Speaker 1: only allowing 141 yards through the air. And third in
- 5:25Speaker 1: points per game, just 16.7. The other side of the ball,
- 5:29Speaker 1: the other team chargers, they're 23rd in total defense, 19th
- 5:33Speaker 1: in rush defense, 21st against the pass, and 20th when
- 5:36Speaker 1: it comes to giving up points. Both teams actually have
- 5:39Speaker 1: an even turnover differential. So the thing about the Chargers,
- 5:43Speaker 1: they force a lot of turnovers, but it's kind of
- 5:45Speaker 1: skewed because they got five last week. Before that, they
- 5:46Speaker 1: had one. They're third in the NFL when it comes
- 5:48Speaker 1: to turnovers. But obviously so far, looks like advantage Seahawks,
- 5:53Speaker 1: but that's why you play the games, right?
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yeah, you got to square up and let's go. I
- 5:56Speaker 3: think one more week and then we'll really see what
- 5:59Speaker 3: these numbers mean. But so far, I think they're pretty
- 6:01Speaker 3: accurate on the Hawks side. I think this is probably
- 6:03Speaker 3: where the team is. You want to see some numbers
- 6:05Speaker 3: jump up offensively. But defensively, they are looking pretty dang good.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think, honestly, as long as this offense
- 6:12Speaker 1: is in the top 10, that's probably all you can
- 6:15Speaker 1: ask for, I think, at that point. Obviously, you want
- 6:16Speaker 1: the rush offense to go up a little bit, but
- 6:18Speaker 1: we will see how those numbers continue to progress. But
- 6:21Speaker 1: these teams definitely have a long history of being old
- 6:23Speaker 1: foes in the AFC West.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Let's know the history.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Know your history.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Seahawks lead the all-time series 27-25. They played a lot, obviously,
- 6:32Speaker 1: in the AFC West before realignment in 2002. Now these
- 6:36Speaker 1: teams are only playing every four years. Last time these
- 6:39Speaker 1: two teams played, it was down at SoFi. The Seahawks
- 6:44Speaker 1: won 37-23 in 2022. The biggest thing from this game
- 6:46Speaker 1: bump that immediately came to my head was Ken Walker's
- 6:49Speaker 1: long 74-yard touchdown run that kind of put ice on
- 6:51Speaker 1: that game. And there's a vivid photo of a nice lady,
- 6:56Speaker 1: Chargers fan, giving Mr. Walker a nice little salute as
- 6:59Speaker 1: he scored that touchdown. So that was kind of my
- 7:01Speaker 1: lasting image of that game. The Seahawks got that thing done.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Geno Smith had a good day. Marquise Goodwin, a name
- 7:07Speaker 1: that was here for a blink. He had his best
- 7:09Speaker 1: game of the season. Two touchdowns.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Ryan Neal. Shout out to Ryan Neal. Ryan Neal is
- 7:13Speaker 2: one of my favorites.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Me too.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Seven tackles, four passes defended, one interception. He had a
- 7:17Speaker 2: good day.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And Justin Herbert was 33 of 51, 293, two touchdowns,
- 7:21Speaker 1: one interception.
- 7:22Speaker 2: We'll get to Herbert in a little bit. People forget
- 7:24Speaker 2: he's been in the league for a while.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Seven years.
- 7:26Speaker 2: He played at Oregon.
- 7:27Speaker 1: That was a long time ago. It doesn't feel like
- 7:29Speaker 1: that long. I kind of feel like, oh, he's been in, what,
- 7:31Speaker 1: two or three? No, no, it's been seven. It just
- 7:33Speaker 1: goes a long time. way, but a lot has happened
- 7:36Speaker 1: in the division. Let's flip it over there. What's the word?
- 7:39Speaker 2: Where my soldiers at? Westside! Where my soldiers at?
- 7:42Speaker 3: Westside! And the Seahawks are the NFC West champs again.
- 7:46Speaker 2: What's the word in the West on Hawk Talk?
- 7:50Speaker 3: All right, Niners. 3-0, playing some good football. Gotta tip
- 7:53Speaker 3: the cap. They are at the top of the division.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Got the Seahawks at 2-1 right behind them, and then
- 7:58Speaker 3: the Rams at 1-2, and the Cardinals at 1-2. Not
- 8:02Speaker 3: what I expected. I expected, you know, the Rams... the
- 8:05Speaker 3: Seahawks and the Niners to be kind of battling, which
- 8:08Speaker 3: they are, I guess. The Rams ain't out of it.
- 8:10Speaker 3: But one and two for the Rams, that is surprising.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, obviously, everyone crowned them. They were the
- 8:15Speaker 2: Super Bowl champs in June, for sure.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Going undefeated.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Now, are they healthy?
- 8:19Speaker 1: No. They don't have Miles Garrett. They don't have Puka Nakua.
- 8:22Speaker 1: But they got a lot of other people that are
- 8:24Speaker 1: probably wearing gold jackets. They've underperformed for two, three games.
- 8:29Speaker 1: It's early in the season. All the teams playing right
- 8:31Speaker 1: now are going to look different come December, come, like,
- 8:34Speaker 1: money time but uh not what i'd expect.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Right now right now they probably have four gold jackets
- 8:41Speaker 3: over there with a potential five if puga can get
- 8:43Speaker 3: his mind right and continue to play some good ball
- 8:46Speaker 3: so yeah i'm surprised but this is the nfl don't
- 8:49Speaker 3: take nobody for granted uh niners are playing good ball
- 8:51Speaker 3: and the hawks are playing good ball too one game
- 8:53Speaker 3: with some turnovers got away from me they're playing good
- 8:55Speaker 3: ball and you can't sleep on the cardinals i don't
- 8:58Speaker 3: think they're going to win the division or even be
- 9:00Speaker 3: um in contention to win it, but they're a team
- 9:03Speaker 3: that could jack up your season if you sleep on them.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Yeah, no question.
- 9:05Speaker 1: And the case in point of the game that they
- 9:06Speaker 1: just played against those 49ers, another season, another year, injuries
- 9:10Speaker 1: are piling up for those Niners.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Crazy.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Mike Evans, he leaves with a rib injury. Trent Williams
- 9:14Speaker 1: leaves the game with a stinger. Dre Greenlaw hurt his quad.
- 9:18Speaker 1: All these guys are questionable. They might come back.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Who knows? But, like, if you're a 49er fan, that's
- 9:22Speaker 2: got to be like, here we go again. Here we
- 9:24Speaker 2: go again.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Every single year. But in terms of this game against
- 9:27Speaker 1: the Cardinals, they jumped out to a 14-0 lead. But
- 9:30Speaker 1: the game did get very close in the fourth quarter,
- 9:31Speaker 1: 251 in the game. Jacoby Brissett ran it in for
- 9:34Speaker 1: a one-yard touchdown. That made the score 29-27. 49ers answer
- 9:38Speaker 1: with a seven-play 65-yard touchdown drive that sealed the game,
- 9:42Speaker 1: holding on to 36-30 wins. So it was competitive. Obviously,
- 9:46Speaker 1: you'd think the 49ers are a much better football team,
- 9:48Speaker 1: but the Seahawks know the Cardinals have some dogs on
- 9:50Speaker 1: the team. In that game, Brock Purdy, he was 15-27, 297,
- 9:53Speaker 1: four touchdowns, zero interceptions. We've said this for years on
- 9:55Speaker 1: the record.
- 9:59Speaker 3: One person.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Takes care of the football, he's one of the best
- 10:01Speaker 1: in the game. When he doesn't, the Niners lose, and
- 10:04Speaker 1: he's playing some really good football right now. Christopher Caffrey,
- 10:06Speaker 1: he also added 15 for 75 and a touchdown. George
- 10:09Speaker 1: Kittle doing his thing. Six receptions, 82 yards, and two
- 10:12Speaker 1: of them things, two touchdowns. Jacoby Brissett did okay, 38-52, 280,
- 10:15Speaker 1: two touchdowns. No interceptions. Jermai Love started kind of figuring
- 10:21Speaker 1: things out. He had his best rushing performance. Trey McGride
- 10:24Speaker 1: continues to do what he's doing. Now, the Cardinals kept
- 10:27Speaker 1: it close. I'm really concerned, though, for the Niners injury-wise.
- 10:31Speaker 2: It's early.
- 10:32Speaker 1: They're coming to Lumen Field in a couple weeks, so
- 10:34Speaker 1: that'll be very interesting to see how this continues. They
- 10:37Speaker 1: got a big game against the Broncos on Sunday, so
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm very interested to see how that's going to shake
- 10:40Speaker 1: out because the Seahawks then, after the Niners, have those
- 10:43Speaker 1: same Broncos, so two really good teams coming up after
- 10:45Speaker 1: the Chargers.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Yeah, they're going to beat each other up. And let's
- 10:48Speaker 3: see how that goes down. But the best game of
- 10:50Speaker 3: the weekend, I would say, was the Rams at the Broncos.
- 10:54Speaker 3: And they both had Super Bowl aspirations, a lot on
- 10:56Speaker 3: the line for this one. And I went down to
- 10:58Speaker 3: the final play, literally went down to the final play.
- 11:01Speaker 3: The Rams jumped out to a 16-0 lead, and the
- 11:03Speaker 3: Broncos didn't get on the board until 7.44 left in
- 11:06Speaker 3: the third quarter when Bo Nix found Pat Bryant for
- 11:09Speaker 3: a five-yard touchdown. They would get a two-point conversion as well.
- 11:12Speaker 3: The Rams punted on the next drive. Then the Broncos
- 11:14Speaker 3: marched right down the field again, ending with a Nate
- 11:18Speaker 3: Adkins touchdown from Bo Nix. They would go for two
- 11:20Speaker 3: and get it, which tied it at 16. The Rams
- 11:23Speaker 3: didn't kick a field goal, and the Broncos had to punt.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Matthew Stafford was picked off by Hufunga, like that dude,
- 11:28Speaker 3: who ran it back for a touchdown. The Rams would
- 11:31Speaker 3: immediately answer with a 48-yard bomb to Konota Mumfield. There
- 11:36Speaker 3: we go. For a touchdown, making the score 26-21. 223.
- 11:40Speaker 3: And then the Broncos would take the lead back. 47
- 11:43Speaker 3: seconds left after a Bo Nix one-yard touchdown. Maybe instead
- 11:48Speaker 3: of a controversial PI, not even maybe, this thing was
- 11:53Speaker 3: the interception. I don't know what referees were looking at.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I know I'm not a Ram supporter.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Of course not.
- 12:00Speaker 3: But I... I appreciate accurately called football games. And that
- 12:04Speaker 3: was interception. Did you hear the explanation? I mean, listen,
- 12:08Speaker 3: we all saw what we saw. Come on now.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I think in.
- 12:13Speaker 1: The grander scheme of things, I feel like there's some
- 12:15Speaker 1: people down in New Orleans from years ago saying.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Hey, we missed a P.I. call, too. But what did that?
- 12:22Speaker 2: So anyway, so there isn't a lot of tears, I
- 12:25Speaker 2: would say.
- 12:25Speaker 3: No, no tears.
- 12:26Speaker 2: But yes, it is what it is. It happened. It happened.
- 12:29Speaker 3: So then the Rams would drive down. to the Rams
- 12:32Speaker 3: right down to Denver, 14-yard line. And on the game's
- 12:34Speaker 3: final play, Matthew Stafford was picked off again by Hufanga,
- 12:38Speaker 3: and that ended the ballgame. Matthew Stafford, 30 for 55,
- 12:42Speaker 3: 390 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He is turning
- 12:45Speaker 3: that thing over this year. Devontae Adams had another big game,
- 12:48Speaker 3: 7 for 137. Goodness gracious. Kyron Williams had 88 yards
- 12:52Speaker 3: and 15 carries. And the Rams are missing Puka. They're
- 12:55Speaker 3: missing Myles Garrett. But there's a reason you play these games.
- 12:59Speaker 3: You cannot crown people. Okay. You got to play these
- 13:02Speaker 3: games and the Broncos band pulled off a close one.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Yeah, no, they played really well. So it'll be interesting
- 13:08Speaker 1: to see us as a play. Obviously all those teams,
- 13:10Speaker 1: the Rams.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Stafford turned the ball over.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:12Speaker 1: He he's looked good in moments, but that's, that's something
- 13:16Speaker 1: to watch out for as the season goes on. Cause
- 13:18Speaker 1: if they're turning the ball over, it'll be interesting to see.
- 13:20Speaker 1: But again, lots of good things happen in the NFC West.
- 13:23Speaker 1: The Seahawks have a really good opportunity of the next
- 13:25Speaker 1: couple of weeks to really set themselves up for a
- 13:28Speaker 1: good position as, as the season goes down the stretch. Well,
- 13:30Speaker 1: let's focus our attention back on those Los Angeles Chargers.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Man up. Hey, who you got?
- 13:36Speaker 3: Who you got?
- 13:37Speaker 2: You know what time it is. Man up. Man up, brother.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Man up.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Man up on Hawk Talk.
- 13:42Speaker 1: We start what we always do, quarterbacks. Justin Herbert against
- 13:45Speaker 1: the Seahawks defense. We said it earlier, it's crazy to
- 13:48Speaker 1: think he's been in the league for seven years. And
- 13:51Speaker 1: he's got an interesting track record because everyone knows the talent.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Everyone knows two-time Pro Bowler, Offensive Rookie of the Year
- 13:56Speaker 1: in 2020, thrown for over 4,000 yards three times. for
- 14:00Speaker 1: over 30 touchdowns twice, but the Chargers in the playoffs
- 14:03Speaker 1: three times. Now, he's only three in those games, two blowouts,
- 14:06Speaker 1: and he's also part of that crazy wild card loss
- 14:08Speaker 1: where they were up 27-0 against the Jags, ended up losing.
- 14:12Speaker 2: That ball game. Now, he's done a lot of good
- 14:15Speaker 2: things in this league.
- 14:15Speaker 1: He's already thrown for over 25,000 yards, 166 touchdowns.
- 14:20Speaker 2: He's also a guy that's dangerous with legs.
- 14:22Speaker 1: He's rushed for almost 2,000 yards with 15 touchdowns on
- 14:24Speaker 1: the ground. His best season, 2021, can't deny it. He
- 14:28Speaker 1: threw for over 5,000 yards, 38 touchdowns. Last season, production
- 14:32Speaker 1: wasn't there. When I say wasn't there, less than the 5,000, right?
- 14:36Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 14:37Speaker 1: He threw for 3,727 yards, 26 touchdowns, 13 interceptions. Rushed, though,
- 14:42Speaker 1: for a career high, 490 yards on two touchdowns. So
- 14:44Speaker 1: he put up decent numbers so far this year, three games.
- 14:46Speaker 1: He's 52 of 88, 627 yards, 59 completion percentage, three touchdowns,
- 14:52Speaker 1: and four interceptions.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Here's the one thing that jumped out to me, Bob.
- 14:55Speaker 1: According to NextGenStats on deep throws, 20-plus yards in the air,
- 14:58Speaker 1: Herbert was one of seven for 29 yards and an
- 15:01Speaker 1: interception against the Bills. Herbert has now thrown more interceptions
- 15:04Speaker 1: on deep balls this season than three than each of
- 15:06Speaker 1: his previous two seasons. So the talent is there. I
- 15:11Speaker 1: don't know how you evaluate him, Bump. He's obviously good
- 15:14Speaker 1: enough to be at that next tier of quarterbacks. We're
- 15:17Speaker 1: not seeing that production so far this year. We know
- 15:20Speaker 1: the talent is there. We know he's been close, but
- 15:22Speaker 1: just not where I think people thought he'd be at
- 15:25Speaker 1: this point.
- 15:26Speaker 3: No, by year seven, I think people thought he'd be
- 15:28Speaker 3: in at least a conference championship game and pushing for
- 15:31Speaker 3: a Super Bowl. You give him a new head coach,
- 15:33Speaker 3: a new offensive coordinator. You're thinking things are going to
- 15:35Speaker 3: be fixed over there, but they're just not. It's still
- 15:38Speaker 3: early in the season, but they're 0-3, and it's going
- 15:40Speaker 3: to be tough for these guys to climb out of
- 15:41Speaker 3: that because I'm anticipating they're going 0-4 after this week. So, Justin,
- 15:46Speaker 3: get your game right, but not this week, my man.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Let's talk about our quarterback, Sam Darnold. Man, he played
- 15:51Speaker 3: solid against the Commanders. He was 31-45. 379, four touchdowns,
- 15:56Speaker 3: did have two interceptions. That 379 was a career high,
- 15:59Speaker 3: which was funny to me because I swore he had
- 16:01Speaker 3: like a 400-yard game in there somewhere. I guess I
- 16:03Speaker 3: just got that much love for Sam Darnold. He wasn't
- 16:06Speaker 3: sacked at all, but he avoided a lot of pressure.
- 16:09Speaker 3: He was everywhere. I think the first play of the game,
- 16:11Speaker 3: he's scrambling outside, and I'm just saying, please stay healthy,
- 16:14Speaker 3: please stay healthy, and he did throughout the game. According
- 16:17Speaker 3: to NextGenStats, Darnold was blitzed on 50% of his drawbacks
- 16:20Speaker 3: and then completed He completed 16 of 23 attempts for
- 16:24Speaker 3: 230 and a touchdown. And this was like his first
- 16:28Speaker 3: game back. You got five snaps that first week, first
- 16:31Speaker 3: game back essentially.
- 16:32Speaker 2: No, and he looked great. He looked great.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And I'm excited to see what he can do because
- 16:36Speaker 1: if he's playing with that kind of confidence, we talked
- 16:38Speaker 1: about it on the previous podcast where he was placing
- 16:40Speaker 1: the football. And he just, again, even after the interception
- 16:44Speaker 1: came right back down the field, one of the most
- 16:46Speaker 1: impressive drives you'll ever see. And he's playing at a
- 16:48Speaker 1: high level bump. And they're going against the defense now statistically.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Hasn't been the greatest. 23rd on 349 yards per game.
- 16:56Speaker 1: 21st against the pass.
- 16:59Speaker 2: 233.
- 16:59Speaker 1: But they got some dogs. And we got to name
- 17:02Speaker 1: a couple of them we were missing if we didn't.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Khalil Mack.
- 17:07Speaker 2: The OG.
- 17:07Speaker 1: 13-year vet. Nine-time Pro Bowler. Third-time first-team All-Pro. Former defensive
- 17:12Speaker 1: player of the year. All-decade teams of the 2000s. He
- 17:14Speaker 1: had 17 sacks in 2023, so that wasn't that long ago. Well,
- 17:18Speaker 1: this year so far, he's balling eight tackles, two sacks,
- 17:21Speaker 1: four QB hits, three TFLs. So he's been drinking a
- 17:24Speaker 1: little bit from the.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Fountain of youth.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Yeah, man. He's looking good. He's looking good. Then you got, okay,
- 17:28Speaker 3: here we go. Tuli Tuipu Loto.
- 17:31Speaker 2: That was pretty good.
- 17:32Speaker 3: All right. All right. First try. We'll get it right
- 17:34Speaker 3: by the game time. He's a four-year vet at a USC,
- 17:37Speaker 3: and he's coming off a career year. He's cousins with Ufunga.
- 17:40Speaker 3: So that's cool, right? A little love out there. And
- 17:43Speaker 3: then 49ers has a starter. Excuse me. Ufunga is a
- 17:47Speaker 3: 49er starter. And I remember he tore his ACL with
- 17:52Speaker 3: the 49ers, right? And he was coming off a Pro
- 17:54Speaker 3: Bowl season, I believe. Yeah, he tore his ACL. But
- 17:58Speaker 3: you saw the talent in this dude, man. And it's
- 18:00Speaker 3: no surprise that he's with the Broncos right now, has
- 18:03Speaker 3: a C on his jersey, and he's continuing to make plays.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Yeah, so the cool thing about Tooley, I'm just going
- 18:11Speaker 2: to leave it at Tooley.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:13Speaker 1: He's had a great year for the Chargers. Obviously, apparently
- 18:16Speaker 1: something's running in the blood there between families here. But
- 18:19Speaker 1: 49 tackles, 13 sacks, 20 TFLs, 23 QB hits, three
- 18:24Speaker 1: passes defended last year. He's another guy on that Chargers
- 18:27Speaker 1: defense that can make a lot of plays. Through three games,
- 18:29Speaker 1: 12 tackles, one half sack, six quarterback hits, and one
- 18:32Speaker 1: pass defended. So another dominant defender for this Chargers team.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Deron James. Sneaky. What's crazy is we're naming all these
- 18:40Speaker 3: guys on this defense. And these are stars in this league.
- 18:43Speaker 3: But for some reason, and on offense, too, you got
- 18:45Speaker 3: the stars as well. But for some reason, they're not
- 18:46Speaker 3: putting it together. You got Derwin James, man. He's 101
- 18:50Speaker 3: career games already. That's crazy, man. He's recorded 705 tackles,
- 18:54Speaker 3: 40 tackles for loss, 19 sacks. He's one sack away
- 18:58Speaker 3: from being just the fifth NFL player to reach 700 tackles,
- 19:01Speaker 3: 40 TFLs, 20 sacks in his first 110 games since 2008. Man,
- 19:03Speaker 3: Derwin James putting together a nice little career.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and when I think of Derwin James, I know
- 19:11Speaker 1: everyone was trying to find a comparison for a Nick Emanuari.
- 19:14Speaker 1: And people couldn't find it. They were like, he has
- 19:16Speaker 1: parts of his game. He has parts of Kyle Hamilton's game.
- 19:19Speaker 1: That's just how special Nick is. But Derwin James is
- 19:22Speaker 1: a baller, teach tape. We want to play safety, put
- 19:25Speaker 1: in position in this league. Derwin James is one of
- 19:26Speaker 1: those guys. So say all that to say Sam Darnold
- 19:29Speaker 1: and the rest of the offense are going to have
- 19:31Speaker 1: some guys they're going to need to contend with. Now,
- 19:33Speaker 1: if we flip it over to the offensive side of
- 19:34Speaker 1: the ball for the Chargers or Moran Hampton. against the
- 19:38Speaker 1: Seahawks front seven Hampton enters the second season with the
- 19:40Speaker 1: Chargers big time expectations right first round pick in 2025
- 19:44Speaker 1: coming out of Carolina as a rookie rushed for 545 yards,
- 19:47Speaker 1: four touchdowns. He also added 32 receptions for 192 yards
- 19:51Speaker 1: and one touchdown. However, because of a lot of injuries,
- 19:54Speaker 1: ankle injuries, he only played in nine games. So if
- 19:57Speaker 1: you read anything coming out of Chargers camp leading into
- 19:59Speaker 1: this year, a lot of hype around him. They expect
- 20:02Speaker 1: him to be a very good football player. And he's
- 20:04Speaker 1: doing okay. He's got 193 rush yards on 50 carries
- 20:06Speaker 1: and two touchdowns. But the Chargers are definitely hoping he
- 20:09Speaker 1: averaged more than 3.9 yards per carry. He has four
- 20:13Speaker 1: seven broken tackles this year, which is tied for third
- 20:15Speaker 1: in the NFL. But definitely someone you want to watch
- 20:18Speaker 1: out for. Another thing, he's put the ball on the
- 20:20Speaker 1: ground twice this year. So obviously the same way when
- 20:23Speaker 1: the Seahawks have had fumble issues, that's going to be
- 20:25Speaker 1: definitely on the radar of the Seahawks defense.
- 20:28Speaker 2: The talent is there.
- 20:29Speaker 1: We haven't seen it again so far production wise, but
- 20:31Speaker 1: he's definitely a talented back for sure.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Loved him when he was at North Carolina. Just has
- 20:35Speaker 3: a lot of balance in his game when he runs.
- 20:37Speaker 3: The other running back getting some carries for the Chargers
- 20:40Speaker 3: is Keaton Mitchell. Mitchell was an offseason free agent addition.
- 20:43Speaker 3: He tallied 11 runs that went for 10-plus yards in
- 20:46Speaker 3: 2025 and led the NFL with an average run speed
- 20:49Speaker 3: of 14 miles per hour, according to next-gen stats. So
- 20:53Speaker 3: he's the speed guy so far in 2026. He has
- 20:56Speaker 3: 85 yards on 17 carries.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and then lastly, who's actually their leading rusher in 2025,
- 21:03Speaker 1: the doll who had 643 yards, three touchdowns, So far,
- 21:07Speaker 1: he's only one carry for six yards this year. So
- 21:10Speaker 1: very interesting to see what's going on in that backfield.
- 21:12Speaker 1: But they're going to have their workout for them because
- 21:14Speaker 1: they're facing a Seahawks team who's not allowed a 100-yard
- 21:17Speaker 1: rusher for a franchise record. Now 29 consecutive games. 32
- 21:21Speaker 1: if you want to include the playoffs along this week
- 21:23Speaker 1: in the NFL. The Seahawks, again, are just so dominant
- 21:26Speaker 1: up front, whether it's Byron Murphy, Leonard Williams, Jaron Reed.
- 21:29Speaker 1: The list goes on and on and on. And, yeah,
- 21:32Speaker 1: so we'll see. I expect the Seahawks to– continue to
- 21:34Speaker 1: handle business in the running game like they have the
- 21:36Speaker 1: last 32 games.
- 21:37Speaker 3: All right, let's talk about our running backs, man. The Seahawks,
- 21:40Speaker 3: we got Price, Helani, we got Wilson. Charbonnet, he's making
- 21:46Speaker 3: some progress here. He's returned to practice. Thank you for
- 21:49Speaker 3: saying that reminder, everybody. He's returned to practice. That opens
- 21:51Speaker 3: his window. Now he can meet some of the rules
- 21:53Speaker 3: of change. He can be back sooner than you think,
- 21:55Speaker 3: but we'll see. There's no rush there, but the fact
- 21:57Speaker 3: that he's back in action, being able to practice is
- 22:00Speaker 3: huge for this team. Yep. The run game performed pretty
- 22:03Speaker 3: well in the first two games of the season. He
- 22:05Speaker 3: rushed for 97 yards in week one and then 162
- 22:08Speaker 3: in week two. It was tough sliding last week, though.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Only rushed for 44 yards on 18 carries. They have
- 22:13Speaker 3: to be better against the Chargers. Price had a tough night.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Only had five carries for 15 yards. He lost his
- 22:19Speaker 3: fumbles the second straight game he's lost a fumble. In 2026,
- 22:24Speaker 3: he has 28 carries for 119 yards. So we're hoping
- 22:27Speaker 3: that they see how his gift price is going this week.
- 22:29Speaker 3: And just get his confidence going, man. And McDonald made
- 22:31Speaker 3: it clear that they trust, they believe in him. He's
- 22:33Speaker 3: still going to be the guy.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not worried about it. I think even in
- 22:37Speaker 1: that game, when you watch some of his runs, you
- 22:39Speaker 1: can see it.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 1: It's there. I think fumbles can be corrected. I'm not
- 22:44Speaker 1: really concerned about that long term. You've talked about it,
- 22:47Speaker 1: whether it's a pregame show, postgame show, different areas about
- 22:50Speaker 1: all the different people who fumbled. Marcus Allen, Dickey Barber,
- 22:54Speaker 1: all these people who have had a lot of fumbles
- 22:55Speaker 1: and they fixed it and corrected it.
- 22:57Speaker 2: This man has played two games in the NFL.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Could be some bad luck. He'll be one of those
- 23:00Speaker 1: streaks that we're talking in 10 years. Like, man, Ice
- 23:03Speaker 1: only has two fumbles in his career. Seriously, you just
- 23:07Speaker 1: never know. It just could have been the first two,
- 23:08Speaker 1: you know what I mean? So I'm not worried about
- 23:09Speaker 1: that at all. And then you got Emmanuel Wilson. He's
- 23:11Speaker 1: had way less production on Sunday. Just 14 yards on
- 23:14Speaker 1: nine carries the week before he had 92 yards. So
- 23:18Speaker 1: Coach McDonald spoke about this at his press conference and, like,
- 23:21Speaker 1: Don't need to overreact too much because if you're asking
- 23:23Speaker 1: about the run game after Arizona, you'd be feeling really
- 23:26Speaker 1: good about it.
- 23:27Speaker 2: So, I mean, ebbs and flows.
- 23:28Speaker 1: You're hoping the Seahawks can be a little more consistent
- 23:30Speaker 1: in front and get this run game going because they
- 23:31Speaker 1: are a different team when they are running the football.
- 23:34Speaker 3: All right, let's get some receiver talking. Ladd McConkie, one
- 23:37Speaker 3: of the shiftest receivers in the game. You got Trey
- 23:39Speaker 3: Harris and you got Quinton Johnson out of TCU, I believe.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Those are the guys for the Chargers. McConkie's been the Chargers'
- 23:46Speaker 3: leading receiver since he was drafted in the second round
- 23:48Speaker 3: in 2024 from Georgia. His rookie year in 2024, he
- 23:51Speaker 3: had 82 receptions for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns. His
- 23:56Speaker 3: production dropped a little bit last season, 66 catches for
- 23:59Speaker 3: 789 and six touchdowns. That may have been because Keenan
- 24:03Speaker 3: Allen returned last season after spending the first 10 years
- 24:05Speaker 3: of his career with the Chargers. It really made a
- 24:08Speaker 3: three-headed monster with McConkie, Allen, and Johnston. McConkie is tied
- 24:12Speaker 3: for the most receptions by a Charger with them the
- 24:14Speaker 3: first two seasons of his career with 147. McConkie is
- 24:17Speaker 3: also second in franchise history With 1,938 yards in its
- 24:21Speaker 3: first two seasons, he's fourth in touchdowns with 13 in
- 24:25Speaker 3: his first two years. So far this year, 12 receptions, 183,
- 24:29Speaker 3: one touchdown.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the guy. He's their number one option for
- 24:33Speaker 1: a reason. He's done a lot of good things since
- 24:34Speaker 1: he's been there. Obviously, you just said all those nice
- 24:37Speaker 1: things about him stat-wise. The other two are the options
- 24:40Speaker 1: I'm curious about. So Trey Harris is a guy emerging
- 24:42Speaker 1: kind of as their number two threat, maybe not by design,
- 24:46Speaker 1: second-round pick out of LaTeX. And he had 30 receptions,
- 24:49Speaker 1: 324 yards, and one touchdown last year. This year, through
- 24:53Speaker 1: three games, already has 149 yards and 10 receptions. So
- 24:55Speaker 1: he's a guy to watch. And then Quinton Johnson's a
- 24:58Speaker 1: guy that I was expecting more production from. First-round pick
- 25:01Speaker 1: in 2023 from TCU. Back-to-back 700-yard, eight touchdown seasons. And
- 25:08Speaker 1: the team liked it enough. They exercised his fifth-year option, right?
- 25:11Speaker 1: So they obviously have a lot of faith in him.
- 25:13Speaker 1: But the production hasn't been there. Three games, six receptions,
- 25:15Speaker 1: 64 yards, zero touchdowns. He's a guy that was their
- 25:19Speaker 1: second option last year, so he's someone that I'd be
- 25:21Speaker 1: looking for when it comes to this passing game for
- 25:24Speaker 1: Justin Herbert. But we'll see because the Seahawks are number
- 25:27Speaker 1: one in the league in pass defense, but it hasn't
- 25:29Speaker 1: all been good. The secondary has been banged up. Obviously,
- 25:31Speaker 1: hoping to see Julian Love back out there. Hopefully, last week,
- 25:37Speaker 1: Terry McLaurin had not really done much. His production was
- 25:39Speaker 1: really low, and he made a couple plays, so hopefully
- 25:42Speaker 1: we don't see that this week.
- 25:43Speaker 3: All right, let's talk about our guys, JSN, Cooper Cove,
- 25:46Speaker 3: and Rasheed Shaheed. Jason did what he does. Ten receptions,
- 25:51Speaker 3: 128 on 14 targets, had two touchdowns, and he threw
- 25:54Speaker 3: the rock, too. Under pressure, he threw the rock as well.
- 25:57Speaker 3: My man does it all. Let's talk about his accolades
- 26:00Speaker 3: once again and what he's doing. He's the first wide
- 26:03Speaker 3: receiver in NFL history with eight receptions, 120 yards and
- 26:06Speaker 3: one touchdown in each of his team's first three games
- 26:09Speaker 3: of the season. He needs 100 yards to tie his
- 26:11Speaker 3: own franchise record with four consecutive 100-yard games. He has
- 26:16Speaker 3: the most receptions, 309, in a player's first four seasons
- 26:19Speaker 3: in franchise history. He is the first Seahawks player with
- 26:22Speaker 3: five-plus touchdowns through Seattle's first three games of a season
- 26:25Speaker 3: since Marshawn Lynch in 2014.
- 26:29Speaker 1: The stats are obviously clear as day. Jackson Smith and
- 26:32Speaker 1: Jigba is the best wide receiver in the National Football League.
- 26:35Speaker 2: It's pretty clear.
- 26:36Speaker 1: You watch more film than anyone that I know.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Why is he the best? Why is he doing what
- 26:41Speaker 2: we're seeing right now?
- 26:42Speaker 3: It's messed up because he makes it look easy, too.
- 26:44Speaker 3: His body language is crazy. He understands spacing. He catches
- 26:48Speaker 3: almost everything. Did have a drop or two last week.
- 26:50Speaker 3: But he catches almost everything. And he's never tired. We
- 26:53Speaker 3: said it on the last podcast. He is never tired.
- 26:57Speaker 3: You can put him outside, put him in a slide,
- 26:58Speaker 3: put him in motion. He's been in the backfield. Whatever
- 27:01Speaker 3: you want a perimeter player to do, he is more
- 27:04Speaker 3: than capable of doing it. And I dare you to
- 27:06Speaker 3: man him up. He will route you up.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not standing on that. I might be talking,
- 27:11Speaker 2: but I'm not. Good luck. Got to talk yourself into it.
- 27:14Speaker 1: But inside that same receiver room, Cooper Cupp was really
- 27:17Speaker 1: cool to see him have his most productive day so
- 27:19Speaker 1: far this year. Four receptions, 46 yards, and a touchdown.
- 27:23Speaker 1: That touchdown was the 60th of his career. He's the
- 27:25Speaker 1: 101st player in the NFL history with 60 career-receiving touchdowns.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Rashid Shaheed, this has obviously been a big topic out there.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Coach Mike McDonald is not concerned. This is how these
- 27:34Speaker 1: things go. The football is going to find him. Six receptions,
- 27:37Speaker 1: 53 yards. I'm really expecting that, and I'm hoping, because
- 27:40Speaker 1: I know We know the type of player the Seahawks
- 27:42Speaker 1: got with Rashid. I'm really hoping to see him make
- 27:45Speaker 1: a big impact in whether it's the pass game, special teams,
- 27:49Speaker 1: somewhere on this game.
- 27:50Speaker 2: I'd love to see Rashid Jahid make an impact play.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Yeah, man. He's due. He's like an active volcano. There's
- 27:56Speaker 3: red tea to go, and hopefully we see him do
- 27:59Speaker 3: his thing on Sunday.
- 28:01Speaker 2: All right.
- 28:02Speaker 1: We're at the end of the show, but we're going
- 28:03Speaker 1: to tell you how the Seahawks are going to get
- 28:05Speaker 1: a victory over the Chargers path to victory.
- 28:09Speaker 2: At the 45, waits for the snap.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Michael Dixon puts it down. That kick is away.
- 28:14Speaker 2: And that kick is good! The Seahawks win!
- 28:18Speaker 1: It's good! It's a path to victory on Hawk Talk.
- 28:22Speaker 1: It's been a really long time since the Seahawks have
- 28:24Speaker 1: played after a loss.
- 28:25Speaker 3: It's been a while.
- 28:26Speaker 1: It's been so long, November 16th of 2025, when they
- 28:29Speaker 1: lost to the Rams and then went ahead and won
- 28:31Speaker 1: 12 games in a row, went on to win the
- 28:34Speaker 1: Super Bowl, hoping for a similar result.
- 28:36Speaker 2: But let's take it one game at a time.
- 28:37Speaker 1: For me, Bump, I think really big key to victory
- 28:39Speaker 1: for the Seahawks is they need to start faster offensively.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Of the Seahawks, 75 points scored this season. Only 17
- 28:46Speaker 1: of them have come in the first half. I think
- 28:47Speaker 1: they need to be better earlier in games. I think
- 28:50Speaker 1: they are absolutely qualified to do that.
- 28:52Speaker 3: And they got to run the ball. I need to
- 28:53Speaker 3: be better in all aspects of the run game, but
- 28:56Speaker 3: especially in the red zone. You're not getting production. We
- 28:58Speaker 3: saw that down the stretch last year. Get better. And
- 29:02Speaker 3: that's what the run game did last year, right? Start
- 29:03Speaker 3: off slow, and then you start to kind of snowball.
- 29:06Speaker 3: And then take care of the football. Three turnovers cost
- 29:08Speaker 3: you the game. Simple as that. Got to take care
- 29:10Speaker 3: of the rock. And Sam Donald needs to keep playing
- 29:12Speaker 3: the way he did last week. I love his confidence,
- 29:14Speaker 3: his decisiveness. He plays some good football, minus the turnovers. Yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 3: and JSN, best in the world. We've said that. We
- 29:21Speaker 3: just talked about it. I want to see a little
- 29:23Speaker 3: bit more from the receiving core. As long as all
- 29:25Speaker 3: those guys can do what they're doing, we're going to
- 29:27Speaker 3: be in good shape. If Jason has another 10, 150,
- 29:30Speaker 3: three touchdowns, good. Sign me up for it. I'm all
- 29:33Speaker 3: good for that. Defensively, just get off the field and
- 29:35Speaker 3: third down. They've been doing that most of the year.
- 29:37Speaker 3: They did that really good, actually, on Sunday. Unfortunately, two
- 29:40Speaker 3: of them were at the end of the game last Sunday.
- 29:42Speaker 3: So we have 13, get that corrected. Take the football away.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Justin Herbert has been turning that thing over.
- 29:48Speaker 2: You have a great opportunity. You're back at home.
- 29:50Speaker 1: You're back in front of the 12th at Lumen field,
- 29:52Speaker 1: huge advantage opportunity to get back in the wind column
- 29:55Speaker 1: and set yourself up for a big time matchup against
- 29:57Speaker 1: the 49ers the following week. He's been Michael Bumpus. I'm
- 30:00Speaker 1: Nassif Chobi. The Seahawks pregame show gets going at 10 a.m.
- 30:04Speaker 1: this Sunday. Until then, hopefully we'll be talking to you
- 30:06Speaker 1: guys on Monday about a Seahawks victory.
