Pulp & Paper Radio International · May 29, 2025 · 11m

This column presents an essay arguing that safety is a

continuous, not limited, concern, impacting individuals both inside and outside

of work. The author emphasizes that accidents can happen anywhere, citing

personal experiences with vehicle crashes and the tragic death of a colleague

at home. The text also describes examples of company policies designed to

enhance safety, such as mandatory backing into parking spaces and requiring two

individuals to work overtime with machinery. Ultimately, the essay asserts that

unsafe choices have lasting consequences that extend beyond the workplace.
