📣 Mexico Accelerates Silver Price Surge: On The Road to $50 Silver and Beyond❗️ · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:00
Silver investors hear all the time about this looming silver
• 0:04
shortage. But is it for real?
• 0:07
We have some new data today that may just indicate to us it is
• 0:13
really, really for real. And when we talk about what's
• 0:17
happening with this one major component of the supply side of
• 0:22
silver, it becomes real clear that this current price around
• 0:26
what, $24.00 isn't realistic. We need silver prices, do you
• 0:32
think? Like around $5065 per oz
• 0:36
minimum, just to be able to make it economic to supply the world
• 0:41
with all the silver that's needed, we need at least 50-60
• 0:45
dollars silver. This is absolutely crazy.
• 0:48
What is going on? So we're going to talk about
• 0:57
this one new component that is changing on the supply side of
• 1:03
silver. And when you hear about it,
• 1:05
like, again, I think it's going to make the picture a little
• 1:07
more clear for us. But the price is what the price
• 1:10
is. But it's not always a straight
• 1:12
ride up, up, up. I know I probably take it harder
• 1:15
than most people. I hate down days in the precious
• 1:18
metals markets. But you got to remember what you
• 1:21
  own. Whether you're holding physical
• 1:23
silver, physical gold or the precious metal mining stocks,
• 1:27
you are holding on to real value in the mining stocks in
• 1:33
particular will take us on a wild, wild ride.
• 1:37
Are we indeed facing a silver shortage that could propel the
• 1:42
price of silver significantly higher in the coming years?
• 1:46
What's going on in Mexico, guys? Mexico is the world's biggest
• 1:52
producer of silver. If you want silver, you go to
• 1:56
Mexico. The Spanish went there, right?
• 1:58
It's just Mexico is the silver capital of the world, the
• 2:03
world's #1 producer of silver. But but and this comes from some
• 2:08
great research from our friends at the silver industry industry
• 2:13
sub stack. John Little, a friend of Ron's
• 2:15
basement, that's his sub stack. This comes from Silver Star
• 2:20
Academy. As always, if you want to get a
• 2:23
daily update on what's going on, I have no economic interest.
• 2:26
I'm not sponsored by them. I'm just telling you, if you
• 2:29
want to get something delivered to your inbox every day, that
• 2:32
has to do with Silver. He does in writing what I do in
• 2:35
video format puts out something every single day.
• 2:38
  Go to the silverindustry@substack.com but
• 2:43
let's read this What he had to say about Mexico silver
• 2:46
  shortage. Confirmed Mexico silver supply
• 2:50
has dropped off a Cliff. At this pace, Mexico could be
• 2:54
out of silver around the year 2026.
• 2:59
  What? What?
• 3:01
We need to dig in and see what What's going on here.
• 3:05
Tavi Costa, he's the brain in Brazil, one of the smartest
• 3:09
analyst in the precious metal sector, big investment manager,
• 3:13
super smart guy. Let me give you a little quote
• 3:15
that he put out Mexico's silver production and he's in Brazil.
• 3:20
So he knows what's going on in Latin America.
• 3:23
Again, Mexico is the biggest producer of silver in the world,
• 3:26
guys. The world is demanding more and
• 3:28
more silver. In Mexico, silver production
• 3:31
apparently is decreasing and we're going to get into the
• 3:34
specifics here. When demand goes up and supply
• 3:38
goes down, the only thing that fixes that is higher prices,
• 3:42
period. Mother Nature rules, OK, the
• 3:45
market rules. Eventually the manipulation by
• 3:48
the COMEX and the LBMA can only go on for so much longer.
• 3:52
This is Tavi Costa, Mexico. Silver production is now
• 3:56
declining double digits annually for the first time in almost a
• 4:01
  decade. Historical trends indicate that
• 4:03
substantial contractions, a new mine supply of silver have
• 4:08
presented excellent opportunities to invest in the
• 4:12
metal. That means the price usually
• 4:14
goes up when when production goes down.
• 4:17
More importantly, consider that silver is currently at one of
• 4:22
its most undervalued levels in history.
• 4:26
So all this is going on, right? This decrease in supply,
• 4:30
increase in demand and the extra bonus kicker, the cherry on top
• 4:36
is the fact that silver right now is at its most undervalued
• 4:40
level in history. Did that say currently at one of
• 4:44
its most undervalued levels in history?
• 4:46
I was correct. Fact Check, especially compared
• 4:50
  to gold. Thank you, Toby.
• 4:52
Yes, we know that it takes like 84 ounces of silver to get one
• 4:56
ounce of gold. Imagine 4 tubes of American
• 4:59
Silver Eagles and then four more American silver.
• 5:02
Would you trade? I don't know.
• 5:04
Honestly, I don't know that I well, I would right now, but I
• 5:08
don't know. To me, 4 American Silver Eagles
• 5:10
seem almost equal to 1 ounce of gold.
• 5:12
But we're talking 4 tubes of American Silver Eagles with 20
• 5:17
coins in each tube for one ounce of gold.
• 5:21
Are you kidding me? Am I sleeping?
• 5:24
Is this real? Here's a chart that you can get
• 5:30
all this delivered to you if you sign up.
• 5:32
It's free. By the way, what John does, John
• 5:34
Little. That's a chart of Mexico silver
• 5:37
  production. We are over here.
• 5:41
If I get my finger, we're over here.
• 5:42
See, going down, down. Mexico is the world's number one
• 5:48
producer of silver. I've said that six Times Now.
• 5:51
Labor activism is on the rise. People in Mexico, they shut
• 5:55
these mines down. The Mexican miners, they're
• 5:58
unionized. I mean, I can tell you, example
• 6:01
after example of America's gold and silver Equinox had problems
• 6:07
at their gold mine in Mexico. There's it, just trust me, the
• 6:14
Mexicans are shutting the mines down, the labor.
• 6:16
So that is real environmental activism.
• 6:20
Yes. They come up with some very
• 6:21
interesting environmental reasons to make it difficult on
• 6:25
minors in Mexico. AMLO, I think it is the current
• 6:28
  president. It's it's it's a mess.
• 6:30
Okay shifts in political regimes by the day, supply and demand
• 6:35
that dynamics are rapidly shifting in favor of demand
• 6:39
while supply is dwindling before our eyes.
• 6:43
Above ground stockpiles of silver are disappearing.
• 6:46
Mexico has always been the number one producer of silver,
• 6:51
but Mexico silver production is down almost 25% in the last two
• 6:58
years. That is a shocking drop off the
• 7:01
Cliff in silver production. We got more silver investors, if
• 7:07
you are holding silver today, you are in great shape.
• 7:11
Congratulations, because the silver price is soon going to be
• 7:14
$50 per oz. OK, don't make any investment
• 7:18
decisions based upon that. That's just my conservative
• 7:22
opinion. I think it could go much, much,
• 7:24
much, much, much, much, much higher than $50 per oz.
• 7:28
Silver is the most undervalued asset on the face of the earth.
• 7:31

• 8:03
Silver is the critical mineral for net 0 economies.
• 8:08
This gets interesting especially in hydrogen fuel cell cars,
• 8:12
trucks, vans, ships, barges, and ferries.
• 8:14
  Especially in satellites, robotics, artificial
• 8:17
intelligence, solar, and other renewables like wind power.
• 8:21
There are over 10,000 OK 10. Write that down. 10,000 other
• 8:27
industrial applications. Things like military, aerospace,
• 8:31
healthcare, electronics. Don't forget silver is the most
• 8:35
conductive metal in the world of electricity.
• 8:37
Silver is also very thermally conductive.
• 8:40
Silver is also the most reflective metal.
• 8:43
There's nothing about silver that it's not the best.
• 8:45
At the United Nations Climate Change Conference just met,
• 8:53
that's called COP 28, OK? And they are all in on renewable
• 8:58
energy that is silver intensive. They were talking about tripling
• 9:04
the amount of of of, of, of green energy capacity in the
• 9:09
world. I don't know for sure how that
• 9:11
came out, but that's the same like COP 28 is the same thing as
• 9:16
COP. What 21 that were the Paris
• 9:18
Accords that set all of this craziness.
• 9:21
Wait till you see this chart that I have for you in a second.
• 9:24
Let's talk solar. OK, speak of the devil.
• 9:28
For every GW of solar, one GW of solar, 500,000 ounces of silver
• 9:35
are used. One GW equals 500,000 ounces of
• 9:41
silver. I don't even know how many
• 9:42
monster boxes that is. How many ounces are in a monster
• 9:46
  box? There's 500 oz.
• 9:49
Maybe that would be 1000 monster boxes for each.
• 9:54
Wow, one GW of solar electricity.
• 9:58
That or solar panel generation. Just OK.
• 10:02
This is interesting. Just this one manufacturing
• 10:05
facility in Houston, TX will use 1,500,000 oz.
• 10:12
Per year, 1,000,500 oz. Per year.
• 10:16
And just down the street from this plant is another plant
• 10:19
using 1,000,000 oz. These are solar panel
• 10:22
manufacturing plants located right here in the United States
• 10:26
of America, down in Texas. I love Texas.
• 10:29
OK, here, here's the company. Wairee Energy, India's largest
• 10:34
solar photovoltaic manufacturer, announced it will establish its
• 10:37
first US manufacturing facility in Houston, TX.
• 10:42
The facility, located in Brookshire, will have the
• 10:45
initial capacity of three GW of solar modules and annually by
• 10:51
the end of next year. Did you hear that?
• 10:54
Three gigawatts of solar modules annually by the end of next
• 10:59
year? Remember what our friend John
• 11:01
just taught us? Each GW uses a half million
• 11:05
ounces of silver. 3 gigawatts equals 1.5 million ounces of
• 11:10
silver. Not just one time, no.
• 11:13
For every year. And guys, this is where it gets
• 11:17
  crazy. Sit down.
• 11:18
  I got a chart. OK?
• 11:20
I don't pull out charts unless they're crazy.
• 11:22
You know, the old cup and handle chart, which I'm not going to
• 11:25
show you today. You know, the wedgie chart,
• 11:27
which I'm not going to show you today.
• 11:29
I have a new chart. This comes from our friends at
• 11:33
Bloomberg. Fortuna Silver Mines is a global
• 11:36
  intermediate gold and silver producer.
• 11:39
Since 2005, Fortuna's best in class management has delivered
• 11:44
impressive growth and profits. Fortuna's solid financial
• 11:48
position and operational expertise allows for performance
• 11:53
in any precious metals price cycle and provides a foundation
• 11:57
from which to harvest great profits in more favorable metals
• 12:01
markets. Investing in Fortuna is an
• 12:03
investment in quality, long term, sustainable production of
• 12:08
in demand precious and base metals.
• 12:11
This is a chart that shows global PV installation.
• 12:16
Who remembers what PV stands for?
• 12:19
Not pervert or anything like that dirty minded folks.
• 12:22
No, PV stands for photovoltaic, which is a fancy way of saying
• 12:27
solar panels. This is a chart that shows from
• 12:30
since 2010, the number of solar panels that have been installed
• 12:35
in the world. Are you ready 2010, 2023?
• 12:46
Do you see a trend? Did you fall out of your chair?
• 12:53
OK, that's real data from Bloomberg and guys, the the big
• 12:58
part of this. Sorry, I am too cheap to have a
• 13:00
color printer of a black and white printer.
• 13:02
This big part here is China. China is installing solar panels
• 13:08
at a rate that is astounding. OK.
• 13:12
We always say China's the country that's like, you know,
• 13:14
the the worst polluter in the world, Well, they're putting in
• 13:17
a lot of solar panels, there's no doubt about that.
• 13:19
This is going to continue going up and for each one of these,
• 13:25
there's silver in it. But as we move out over here, as
• 13:29
we move into the future, not only are we going to see more
• 13:32
solar panels, but we're also going to see more silver in each
• 13:38
panel. We can't emphasize that enough.
• 13:41
Back to Mexico, another friend of the basement, Vince Lanci.
• 13:45
What a great guy. Super, super, super legitimate.
• 13:51
Not just a smart guy, but a great guy in a in a warrior for
• 13:55
  silver. We love Vince Lanci.
• 13:57
OK, I did an interview with him a couple weeks back.
• 13:59
If you want to dig through my channel and find it, I would
• 14:02
highly recommend it. We dissected what's going on in
• 14:05
the world. But anyway, Vince Lanci says
• 14:07
Mexico quote Mexico is in the process of soft nationalization
• 14:12
of its remaining silver as well. Soft nationalization, right?
• 14:17
This has to do with the BRICS nations, and the BRICS nations
• 14:20
are increasingly restricting G7 access to their remaining
• 14:26
resources. That's the big picture we talk
• 14:28
about all the time. The world knows there's only so
• 14:31
much silver, the BRICS nations and BRICS.
• 14:34
Plus, don't forget, we're going to have who?
• 14:36
Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Egypt and
• 14:41
Ethiopia joining BRICS here in a few days.
• 14:44
On top of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, they're
• 14:46
going to control a growing lion's share of the world's
• 14:52
silver, the world's gold, the world's oil.
• 14:55
I mean, guys, it's absolutely crazy.
• 14:59
The situation in Mexico is particularly dire.
• 15:03
As the world's leading silver producer, Mexico has seen an
• 15:06
average annual output of 5600 tons in the past decade.
• 15:10
Unfortunately, its reserves, its resources, what they do have,
• 15:16
are dwindling to a mere 37,000 tons.
• 15:19
That was as of 2020. If mining continues at the
• 15:23
current pace, the country's reserves could be exhausted by
• 15:26
the end of 2026 since Lanci had one more thing to say, We may
• 15:31
not be running out of silver, but the cheap and easy silver is
• 15:35
depleting. To be fair, Mexican production
• 15:39
has had nose dives in the past all right, but it has not been
• 15:43
  in conjunction with China demand.
• 15:47
Whether we're seeing right now, Chinese demand is so intense
• 15:51
that because of the global bifurcation of trade, they are
• 15:56
now buying raw ore as well as concentrate directly from silver
• 16:01
  producing country.
