- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Yes, let's go.
- 0:03Speaker 3: It's a beautiful day here in Nashville Thursday morning, just
- 0:05Speaker 3: after six o'clock.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 4: Lady Gaga is a step closer to getting an egat.
- 0:11Speaker 4: She received her first ever Emmy Award, the twenty twenty
- 0:15Speaker 4: five Sports Emmy Awards was in New York City a
- 0:18Speaker 4: few days ago in Lincoln Center, and she took home
- 0:20Speaker 4: the statuette for her performance during the Super Bowl pregame.
- 0:24Speaker 4: So the pop star has already won a Grammy, an Oscar.
- 0:28Speaker 5: Now she has an Emmy.
- 0:29Speaker 4: She needs a Tony, and she has an egot, which
- 0:33Speaker 4: is wild and she deserves it because she's done a
- 0:35Speaker 4: little bit of everything all over the place. So it's
- 0:36Speaker 4: only a matter of time before she gets herself a Tony.
- 0:38Speaker 4: So congrats to Lady Gaga. The All American Rejects played
- 0:42Speaker 4: in East Nashville last night in a girl's backyard.
- 0:46Speaker 5: I'm so upset and I'm so sad.
- 0:49Speaker 4: They leaked the address early, like somebody had leaked it early,
- 0:53Speaker 4: so they cut off the line pretty early on because
- 0:55Speaker 4: they couldn't fit the amount of people that had lined
- 0:58Speaker 4: up to go inside.
- 0:59Speaker 5: Obviously it's someone backyard. Yeah, like there's only so much space.
- 1:02Speaker 5: This is something that.
- 1:03Speaker 4: They've been doing for a few weeks now all over
- 1:06Speaker 4: the place. They've played in a bowling alley, other backyards.
- 1:08Speaker 4: They're kind of holding on to this idea of not
- 1:12Speaker 4: overcharging you for concert tickets, which is a wild thought
- 1:15Speaker 4: considering that's what everybody does. They basically said, you know,
- 1:19Speaker 4: we don't want to overcharge you for parking. We don't
- 1:21Speaker 4: want you to have to go on a payment plan
- 1:22Speaker 4: like you have to do to go to Coachella. We
- 1:24Speaker 4: want you to be able to see your favorite bands
- 1:26Speaker 4: for free or for very little.
- 1:29Speaker 5: So they did. They played in East Nashville.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I lived vicariously through everybody else's videos because I was
- 1:33Speaker 4: not there.
- 1:34Speaker 3: We thought about going, Ricky and I and Zach we
- 1:36Speaker 3: were texting last night, like yesterday afternoon, should we go?
- 1:38Speaker 3: We found out the address, Yeah, and we ultimately realized
- 1:41Speaker 3: that we're too old.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Well, you ultimately realized you were too old.
- 1:45Speaker 4: I had a birthday party that I went to, so
- 1:48Speaker 4: did Zach. And Zach went to go see Halsey last night.
- 1:50Speaker 4: He had tickets to Halsey, So I was like, oh,
- 1:53Speaker 4: do I go after this. While I was sitting having drinks,
- 1:56Speaker 4: they sent out a thing being like, the line's too long,
- 1:59Speaker 4: we're catting it, and I was.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Like, well, that's that on that I'm going to go
- 2:02Speaker 5: home now.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Airbnb has ruled out an anti party policy ahead of
- 2:06Speaker 4: a Memorial Day weekend. They're using their proprietary anti party
- 2:09Speaker 4: technology again for listings across the country as of this week,
- 2:13Speaker 4: so they're blocking certain bookings.
- 2:15Speaker 5: They said that this should help.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Reduce the risk of disruptive parties, which are banned on
- 2:20Speaker 4: their platform. You're not supposed to have parties and Airbnbs,
- 2:22Speaker 4: even though people still do it, and.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Obviously there are a lot of rules.
- 2:25Speaker 4: So they are just trying to crack down on the
- 2:28Speaker 4: idea that people think they could just rent out a place,
- 2:30Speaker 4: destroy it from a World Day weeken.
- 2:32Speaker 5: And leave. So just keep that in mind.
- 2:34Speaker 4: If you happen to get caught up in that and
- 2:36Speaker 4: they don't let you book something, it might be a glitch.
- 2:39Speaker 5: Just call them. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
- 2:41Speaker 5: three things you need to know.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky. How about we do this.
- 2:44Speaker 3: How about we play the all American rejects and we
- 2:47Speaker 3: all collectively.
- 2:48Speaker 5: Together oh, I love that idea.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Just do we just pretend that we were there last.
- 2:52Speaker 5: Night and seeing it in the studio.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Yeah, let's do it.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Here we go gives you hell as we start things
- 2:57Speaker 3: up on this Thursday morning. We do have those sounds
- 2:59Speaker 3: tickets on the way. Within ten minutes you can win
- 3:01Speaker 3: those for the first caller of the day. Right here
- 3:03Speaker 3: on the river.
- 3:03Speaker 1: One O seven five the river heiky zach and.
- 3:06Speaker 5: In the morning ran in in Glasgow, Kentucky. Good morning.
- 3:10Speaker 5: I always love when people.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Call in to one of seven five of the river
- 3:14Speaker 4: from Kentucky because it's crazy to me that we reached
- 3:16Speaker 4: that far.
- 3:17Speaker 6: Oh at y'all station is one of my favorites.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Is it coming nice and clearly there for you or like,
- 3:23Speaker 3: does it like a cloudy stormy day disrupt the signal
- 3:25Speaker 3: or anything?
- 3:26Speaker 1: Not?
- 3:26Speaker 6: Typically, I mean it has that's on a regular basis.
- 3:29Speaker 2: It's great, Okay, good.
- 3:30Speaker 7: I'd love to hear it.
- 3:32Speaker 5: I love that so much. What are you doing today, Rhannon, Well.
- 3:34Speaker 6: I'm gonna go watch my girls perform in their school
- 3:37Speaker 6: talent show.
- 3:38Speaker 7: All and what's good talent?
- 3:41Speaker 6: My daughter, my oldest daughter, is singing a song by
- 3:44Speaker 6: Imagine Dragons, Okay, my middle girl is walking on stil
- 3:49Speaker 6: What that's.
- 3:50Speaker 2: The coolest thing I've ever heard.
- 3:52Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 3:53Speaker 9: She appreciate that.
- 3:54Speaker 4: She wish I could do that. I'm only four eleven.
- 3:57Speaker 4: That would really solve a lot of problems for me.
- 3:59Speaker 6: That would help I would have a lot Does she like.
- 4:01Speaker 9: Practice walking around the house and her stilts are like?
- 4:03Speaker 9: Where does she learn to do this?
- 4:05Speaker 6: She walks around the house. She asked for them for Christmas.
- 4:08Speaker 6: I was like, well, that's an odd request. But I
- 4:10Speaker 6: got him and she as soon as she picked him up,
- 4:12Speaker 6: she was balin.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Wow, I love it.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Does she show any other like, you know, clown like interests.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Does she juggle or anything like that?
- 4:21Speaker 5: You went right to clown?
- 4:23Speaker 6: Yeah, she picked up some balls she would master yeah quickly.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Stilts is one of those things that like a clown
- 4:30Speaker 3: college or a clown school or something that you know, you're.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Working at class.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Talking about.
- 4:38Speaker 7: I've never seen a clown off stilts.
- 4:42Speaker 10: Lived.
- 4:42Speaker 5: I've also never even seen a clown college.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Oh, you guys are all insane. So this is a
- 4:48Speaker 2: very normal thing.
- 4:50Speaker 4: I don't know if it is, but we love it.
- 4:52Speaker 4: We are fascinated by it. That is such a cool talent.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Good luck to both of your girls because I'm sure
- 4:57Speaker 4: they're both going to do amazing and have so much
- 5:00Speaker 4: fun tonight. And know that you are the first caller
- 5:03Speaker 4: of the day on one of seven five the River.
- 5:05Speaker 4: You're going to get to the National Sounds this weekend.
- 5:07Speaker 11: Yay, Thank you so much.
- 5:09Speaker 5: You're so welcome.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Have you heard of a clown college before?
- 5:12Speaker 12: I have actually the.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Name one? Like, where is it?
- 5:18Speaker 2: Harvard clown College?
- 5:19Speaker 1: No?
- 5:19Speaker 5: Actually, I'm literally just looked it up and.
- 5:21Speaker 9: I said, you have a better chance of getting into
- 5:23Speaker 9: Harvard than the Ringling brothers, Bartam and Bailey clown College.
- 5:26Speaker 8: Oooh yeah, I didn't even know there was wanted to
- 5:29Speaker 8: do that, but we are easy guys.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Where is this Kyle College?
- 5:36Speaker 13: Oh?
- 5:36Speaker 5: My god, you see what I deal with.
- 5:39Speaker 3: All right, we're gonna put you on hold to get
- 5:40Speaker 3: all your information for this baseball game. Congratulations and best
- 5:43Speaker 3: of luck to your girls today. We can't wait to
- 5:45Speaker 3: hear how'll go.
- 5:45Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Isle of Fisher. You know the actress Isla Fisher. She
- 5:50Speaker 2: went to clown College?
- 5:51Speaker 5: Which what is there? Multiple?
- 5:53Speaker 10: Is there?
- 5:53Speaker 5: Only the one? I need the details. You're not giving
- 5:56Speaker 5: me anything to work with.
- 5:57Speaker 9: There's a lot of different ones. There's a website called
- 5:59Speaker 9: the school dot com.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Can I go for classes?
- 6:05Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, Snelts class.
- 6:07Speaker 5: I kind of want to go for Silts class.
- 6:09Speaker 6: Sure.
- 6:09Speaker 3: We have more of those sound stickets tomorrow and more insanity.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Don't worry to Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 6:15Speaker 5: I'm so excited. I have a big announcement for you guys.
- 6:17Speaker 7: Can we take guesses?
- 6:19Speaker 5: You can't take guesses? Go ahead, guess once.
- 6:21Speaker 7: Did you finally pick a wedding venue?
- 6:23Speaker 5: No?
- 6:23Speaker 2: Oh, pregnant?
- 6:25Speaker 5: No, that was a hard No, yike, you try to
- 6:29Speaker 5: tell me something.
- 6:31Speaker 4: I do have a big announcement though, I'm very excited
- 6:34Speaker 4: about it. I'm gonna tell you after we listened to
- 6:36Speaker 4: Gracie Abram, wake up.
- 6:37Speaker 2: The kids, gather everyone around the radio. This is big.
- 6:40Speaker 2: This is something really big coming from Ricky.
- 6:42Speaker 5: I'm really excited.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Where we last left off on one O seven five
- 6:49Speaker 3: the River, Ricky said she had a big announcement. We
- 6:51Speaker 3: already crossed a couple of things off the list. She
- 6:53Speaker 3: and Aj have not said a wedding date. They're not pregnant.
- 6:57Speaker 5: Did you buy a house, No, something better? What I
- 7:01Speaker 5: finally got a La Boo Boo. I'm so pumped about it.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I've been searching for these freaking La Boo boos everywhere.
- 7:10Speaker 4: I've been waiting and waiting and waiting to get just
- 7:13Speaker 4: I just want one of two different versions. Like there's
- 7:17Speaker 4: three or four or five different versions. I just want
- 7:19Speaker 4: one of each.
- 7:20Speaker 2: We have we talked about this.
- 7:21Speaker 3: I think last week how badly you wanted a little
- 7:23Speaker 3: Boo boo for anybody to miss that, anybody that has
- 7:25Speaker 3: been living under a rock. Now I'm not aware of laboos.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Can you please reset for us?
- 7:29Speaker 14: So?
- 7:29Speaker 5: La Boo Boo is a little plush toy.
- 7:32Speaker 4: They come in like little figurines and also a little
- 7:34Speaker 4: plush toys that you can link onto your bag, like
- 7:36Speaker 4: as a bag charm. And they kind of look like
- 7:39Speaker 4: little little funny monsters.
- 7:41Speaker 9: They look like something went wrong in the factory and
- 7:43Speaker 9: that's what came out.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I love them.
- 7:45Speaker 7: I didn't like that, but they are.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Imagine it's so crazy popular right now.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Yes, you cannot get them like anywhere.
- 7:52Speaker 4: You have to wait on this specific app and just
- 7:55Speaker 4: like keep refreshing and waiting for them to drop to
- 7:58Speaker 4: try to get one. But if you don't get it
- 8:00Speaker 4: in like the second it drops, it's impossible. You can't
- 8:03Speaker 4: find them anywhere else. They're so popular that they have
- 8:06Speaker 4: fake versions of them called lafoufoos, and people are selling
- 8:10Speaker 4: those two people because they want la booboos so bad.
- 8:13Speaker 2: And you're certain you got the real thing.
- 8:15Speaker 4: I'm almost one hundred percent sortain. It shipped yesterday from California.
- 8:19Speaker 4: We'll see when it comes. I will open it live
- 8:22Speaker 4: on the show. Oh, you will go and we will
- 8:24Speaker 4: see which one I get. Because they're blind boxes. So
- 8:26Speaker 4: the way that it works is it's a box and
- 8:28Speaker 4: there's different versions that come in each box and different colors,
- 8:32Speaker 4: and they have different names, and so you open it
- 8:34Speaker 4: and you have to completely unwrap the box to see
- 8:37Speaker 4: which one you get.
- 8:38Speaker 7: How much did you pay for this done little thing?
- 8:40Speaker 5: Forty dollars?
- 8:41Speaker 2: Oh I thought it'd be more, honestly, forty dollars.
- 8:44Speaker 7: Yeah, for this little purse attachment.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Yeah, forty dollars. I'm very excited.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I will say sorry.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Side note here, the mystery packaging drives me nuts. There
- 8:55Speaker 3: are things that my daughter, I know my daughter likes these.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Mariah Elizabeth Plushy's we go to Target and get them,
- 9:00Speaker 3: but they're mystery so like, and they're like, you gotta
- 9:03Speaker 3: collect them all, but you never know which one you're getting,
- 9:05Speaker 3: So then you're gonna end up with all these duplicates
- 9:07Speaker 3: and you keep.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Buying them so that you get the whole set.
- 9:09Speaker 4: And just so the Bubo fandom, they do swaps, okay,
- 9:13Speaker 4: So like, if you get a duplicate, you can swap
- 9:15Speaker 4: with somebody else for one that they have.
- 9:17Speaker 5: They watch like that, so it kind of makes it
- 9:19Speaker 5: so that.
- 9:19Speaker 4: You don't have to open every single blind box and
- 9:22Speaker 4: spend an insane amount of money. You can just swap
- 9:24Speaker 4: with somebody else. So I mean, there's ways around it.
- 9:27Speaker 4: I're happy that you're excited, but these are so ugly.
- 9:30Speaker 5: I love them.
- 9:32Speaker 7: I don't mean it rate on your prate. Hold on,
- 9:33Speaker 7: let me change my attitude.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Yay.
- 9:38Speaker 3: They're very Ricky like it almost hands like a Jack
- 9:41Speaker 3: Skellington style face, like uh yeah, just that sort of
- 9:44Speaker 3: that beetlejuice vibe to it.
- 9:46Speaker 5: They're like creepy and cutes, yes.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Exactly, but also cuddly at the same time. This is
- 9:49Speaker 2: like Ricky's whole thing.
- 9:51Speaker 4: I'm gonna post what they look like up on one
- 9:54Speaker 4: of seventy five the Rivers and Scrampage. You go see
- 9:56Speaker 4: it in the story, so you have an idea of
- 9:58Speaker 4: what these things actually are in case you're not on
- 10:00Speaker 4: the Little Boo Boo train yet.
- 10:02Speaker 5: But I am so pumped. I cannot wait to get my.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Join us next hopefully next week depending on shipping, I guess,
- 10:07Speaker 3: but the delivery date.
- 10:10Speaker 5: It shipped out yesterday, so I don't know yet.
- 10:12Speaker 10: But next week I'm gonna chat.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Okay, but I'm just freaking pumped.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Guys, send your mornings with us. You don't miss the
- 10:18Speaker 3: unboxing of the La Boo Boo Live on the River.
- 10:21Speaker 5: Three things you need to know, sweet.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Baby, we got a beautiful day here.
- 10:26Speaker 5: And yeah, oh my god.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Seven o'clock on this Thursday morning, Thanks for being here.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Ricky's got those three things.
- 10:34Speaker 10: Oh my god.
- 10:38Speaker 5: All eyes are on the w N B A and
- 10:40Speaker 5: I love to see it.
- 10:42Speaker 10: Uh.
- 10:42Speaker 4: This partially to do with Caitlin Clark and Angel Rees
- 10:44Speaker 4: who have crazy followings, and of course the other part
- 10:47Speaker 4: is all the other women who have just been working
- 10:48Speaker 4: their butts off to play the best they have ever played.
- 10:52Speaker 4: But opening the opening day game between Angel Reese's Chicago
- 10:56Speaker 4: Sky and Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever averaged two zo point
- 11:00Speaker 4: seven million viewers on ABC, making it the most watched
- 11:04Speaker 4: regular season WNBA game since two thousand and The only
- 11:08Speaker 4: wa NBA telecast on ABC to have a bigger audience
- 11:12Speaker 4: was last year's All Star Game, which brought in three
- 11:14Speaker 4: point four to four million viewers. The WNBA and women's
- 11:18Speaker 4: sports are just on fire right now, and it's about time.
- 11:21Speaker 5: That we pay attention.
- 11:22Speaker 4: And I'm just so excited to see how much of
- 11:25Speaker 4: an impact they are making on just sports in general.
- 11:28Speaker 5: It's phenomenal. So keep a watch on all of this.
- 11:31Speaker 4: They are huge, both Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, and
- 11:35Speaker 4: I just love it. It makes me so happy. This also
- 11:38Speaker 4: makes me very happy. Shake Shack has added a new
- 11:40Speaker 4: side item for the first time ever, fried pickles.
- 11:44Speaker 5: Oh yeah, and even though I.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Can't technically eat fried pickles, I gotta try, so does Zach.
- 11:51Speaker 4: They're like, if fried pickles are on the menu, Zach's
- 11:54Speaker 4: wondering them.
- 11:54Speaker 5: If there's fried pickles or Brussels sprouts, the man's gotta
- 11:57Speaker 5: have them.
- 11:58Speaker 4: They're part of the summer barbecue line up, which means
- 12:00Speaker 4: that they're only going to be around for a limited time.
- 12:02Speaker 4: They've been available since Tuesday, so make sure you try
- 12:04Speaker 4: them out the next time you visit Shakeshack, get yourself
- 12:07Speaker 4: a burger and some Friday pickles.
- 12:09Speaker 5: I gotta try these, I gotta see how they are.
- 12:11Speaker 4: And the Nationale Public Librari's East branch location is temporarily closing.
- 12:16Speaker 4: They're going to be closed from tomorrow, so Friday, May
- 12:19Speaker 4: twenty third, through Sunday, June eighth, So if you have
- 12:22Speaker 4: any holds, make sure you grab them by eight pm tomorrow.
- 12:26Speaker 5: If you can't get to them by tomorrow, any.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Other holds will be available for pickup in the Inglewood
- 12:30Speaker 4: branch starting Tuesday, May twenty seventh. If you prefer an
- 12:34Speaker 4: alternate location, just contact the each branch library.
- 12:37Speaker 5: They'll give you assistance on a request.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Maybe there's a different site that you can pick them
- 12:41Speaker 4: up at, but check it out, call them, make sure
- 12:44Speaker 4: that it's all set, and then just be ready for
- 12:48Speaker 4: them to open back up on June eighth. I'm Rickaysachas
- 12:50Speaker 4: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky, appreciate it.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Right after Lowly Young Zach's fax We're gonna learn together.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Schools wrapping up at school is in session here and
- 13:00Speaker 2: now learn and next in the river one seven five river.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Right, Zach teaches something new. It's Zach's fax on one
- 13:08Speaker 5: O seven five of the river.
- 13:09Speaker 7: Okay, this is really cute.
- 13:10Speaker 9: It's actually from the Merriam Webster Dictionary Instagram account and
- 13:14Speaker 9: they said, the can of napkin means little. The nap
- 13:19Speaker 9: comes from nape, which means tablecloth. So napkin is a
- 13:22Speaker 9: little tablecloth.
- 13:23Speaker 2: That is cute.
- 13:24Speaker 7: How cute is that?
- 13:26Speaker 5: Adorable?
- 13:26Speaker 6: Hey?
- 13:27Speaker 7: Can I have a little tablecloth? And that's your fact.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Of the day, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Or not using coupons on dates, it's one O seven
- 13:39Speaker 4: five the river. Some of you are probably like gasping
- 13:42Speaker 4: at the thought of somebody using a coupon on a date.
- 13:46Speaker 4: What But it turns out that more than half of
- 13:49Speaker 4: Americans say that using a coupon on a first date
- 13:51Speaker 4: is totally acceptable.
- 13:53Speaker 5: According to this new story.
- 13:54Speaker 4: I agree one thousand percent no, and then twenty eight percent.
- 13:57Speaker 4: They went as far as to say that it's sexy saving.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Money, being being smart with your money, of course, or
- 14:04Speaker 3: a frugal, little cheap dirt bag.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, what.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Do you think?
- 14:09Speaker 6: Wow?
- 14:09Speaker 4: Seven seven nine, one oh seven. Are you as aggressively
- 14:14Speaker 4: against this as Zach is? Or do you see the
- 14:17Speaker 4: good in it?
- 14:18Speaker 3: If you use coupons in real life, do it on
- 14:21Speaker 3: show who you are on the first day.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Don't want to send somebody's time, be yourself.
- 14:25Speaker 5: This is getting heated already. I don't like it.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay, we want to hear your opinions six
- 14:29Speaker 2: one five, seven, three, seven nine. Let's know how you feel.
- 14:33Speaker 1: One o seven five the River, Nicky Zach in the Morning.
- 14:36Speaker 4: More than half of Americans say that using a coupon
- 14:39Speaker 4: on a first date is totally acceptable. According to this
- 14:41Speaker 4: new survey, it's Ricky Zacha Mano in the morning on
- 14:44Speaker 4: one oh seven five the River. Hot or not using
- 14:47Speaker 4: coupons on dates? Rachel and Brentwood?
- 14:50Speaker 5: What do you think so overall?
- 14:52Speaker 8: I'm hot?
- 14:54Speaker 11: I think it really depends. Like for me, if I'm
- 14:58Speaker 11: choosing the thought we're going on the date for a
- 15:00Speaker 11: first date and then they have a coupon, cool, If
- 15:03Speaker 11: you're wanting to go to a certain spot just because
- 15:06Speaker 11: you have a coupon, that might not be such a
- 15:09Speaker 11: turn on to me.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Okay, I understand that, because then it feels like you're
- 15:13Speaker 4: just going on a date to like save money essentially.
- 15:16Speaker 11: Exactly exactly, but overall and at my point in life
- 15:20Speaker 11: right now, having kids, coupons on dates.
- 15:22Speaker 8: Are super hot.
- 15:23Speaker 5: Okay, all right, I like it super hot.
- 15:26Speaker 7: You know you're not kids.
- 15:27Speaker 9: You need a man that can find financially like afford
- 15:30Speaker 9: your lifestyle and take care of.
- 15:31Speaker 7: Your children, not a man that's going to be a coupon.
- 15:33Speaker 7: Is it going to be? On the next episode of TLCS.
- 15:40Speaker 11: We find the spots that have the deal.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Hey, I like it, Rachel. I'm with Rachel, I'm with Kevin.
- 15:45Speaker 4: I think if you have a coupon, amazing. And what
- 15:48Speaker 4: Rachel said makes sense to me too, Like if there's
- 15:51Speaker 4: if I pick a spot and there happens to be
- 15:53Speaker 4: a coupon for it, amazing. If we're just going because
- 15:57Speaker 4: you have a coupon, then that kind of is.
- 15:59Speaker 3: A little How do you feel do you put gift
- 16:01Speaker 3: cards in the same category as coupons, Like if you
- 16:04Speaker 3: go to a restaurant, he's like, oh, I have a
- 16:05Speaker 3: gift card.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Oh Hell yeah. Use the gift card. Hell yeah, because
- 16:08Speaker 5: that means also maybe we can get a little extra
- 16:11Speaker 5: because you got the little wink.
- 16:14Speaker 7: The gift card like dessert. Kevin, calm down.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Rachel, thank you so much for calling in. We appreciate you.
- 16:22Speaker 13: You're welcome.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Have a good day, Rachel, Jackie and Brentwood, good morning,
- 16:27Speaker 3: Welcome to the river. How do you feel about coupons
- 16:29Speaker 3: on a date?
- 16:30Speaker 12: I think my first day is as awesome idea because
- 16:35Speaker 12: if you really think about it, that person is kind
- 16:39Speaker 12: of insight if you're not a waiteful person and howefully makes.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Yeah, they're good with money, and Zach clearly having a
- 16:50Speaker 3: partner with a lot of money, it's important to you.
- 16:53Speaker 3: This is how you get money. Man, you got to
- 16:55Speaker 3: be smart with your money.
- 16:56Speaker 2: It's a good being fintual decision.
- 17:00Speaker 7: Understand that.
- 17:01Speaker 9: I just don't think on the first date you're putting
- 17:03Speaker 9: your best foot forward by being like, Hey, I think
- 17:05Speaker 9: that you really don't deserve all of me, so I'm
- 17:08Speaker 9: just gonna give a all of me.
- 17:11Speaker 5: It's just money.
- 17:12Speaker 10: I'm just going to.
- 17:12Speaker 9: Use a coupon on you. This is a cheap date.
- 17:15Speaker 9: I don't really like you that much. Oh, my gosh,
- 17:17Speaker 9: what it feels like to me?
- 17:18Speaker 4: Sh Wait, so you think that somebody should, like, do
- 17:21Speaker 4: you think they should take out a loan to go
- 17:23Speaker 4: on a first day?
- 17:24Speaker 9: Not alone, but like, if we're going on a first date,
- 17:26Speaker 9: put your best foot.
- 17:27Speaker 7: Forward on your very first date.
- 17:29Speaker 9: I don't want to feel like I'm a knockoff that
- 17:30Speaker 9: you got off the clean question question.
- 17:35Speaker 5: I have a question.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Since you're saying put your best foot forward. If all
- 17:39Speaker 4: that person can afford is a restaurant that's not as expensive,
- 17:43Speaker 4: would you rather go to an expensive restaurant with a
- 17:45Speaker 4: coupon or go to McDonald's.
- 17:47Speaker 9: I would rather go to McDonald's whatever they can afford.
- 17:50Speaker 9: Just don't give me a coupon.
- 17:52Speaker 10: Wow.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Okay, Jackie. We appreciate you listening and calling and being
- 17:56Speaker 2: part of this madness.
- 17:57Speaker 12: Thank you, Thank you every day.
- 18:00Speaker 5: Thank you for listening.
- 18:02Speaker 15: Thanks.
- 18:03Speaker 5: I love I just I feel like you're insane.
- 18:06Speaker 7: Zach.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Why what did I do?
- 18:08Speaker 4: I just don't understand the thought process.
- 18:12Speaker 9: Other than feeling like you're a TJ Max and you
- 18:14Speaker 9: just picked me off the shelf.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I love watching Zach argue. It's my favorite thing. If
- 18:21Speaker 2: you want to join the conversation, Ricky, Zach and Man
- 18:24Speaker 2: in the Morning, Jamie and Nashville, where do you stand?
- 18:29Speaker 16: Yeah, no, it's gonna be an absolute no for me,
- 18:32Speaker 16: Thank you.
- 18:34Speaker 5: I did have a singular person on his side. Go ahead, Jamie.
- 18:38Speaker 5: Why do you think that they should not use a coupon?
- 18:41Speaker 16: It's like advertisement if you say, like some type of
- 18:44Speaker 16: genuine connection, like you're advertising what you can offer.
- 18:48Speaker 8: So like absolutely not.
- 18:50Speaker 4: No, Okay, So you want a guy who can offer
- 18:53Speaker 4: you a lot of money, much like what, Zack.
- 18:56Speaker 7: I'm not even saying a lot of money.
- 18:58Speaker 9: I'd be fine with a Taco Bell or McDonald's date
- 19:00Speaker 9: if that's all that you can afford. Just don't take
- 19:03Speaker 9: me to Jeff Harabies with a fifty percent off coupon.
- 19:05Speaker 7: That is so embarrassing.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Yeah, no, embarrassing. That's not embarrassing.
- 19:10Speaker 7: I don't even know embarrassing.
- 19:12Speaker 5: I think it's equal.
- 19:13Speaker 4: But you know what, Jamie, Zach, You're entitled to your
- 19:16Speaker 4: own opinions.
- 19:17Speaker 16: James, I mean, like I didn't even I didn't even
- 19:20Speaker 16: go on like quote like our first date with my
- 19:23Speaker 16: husband of like almost like ten years now, for like
- 19:26Speaker 16: almost like three or four weeks, Like we just sat
- 19:28Speaker 16: and hung out consistently with each other and he's like, oh, hey,
- 19:32Speaker 16: you want to go have fushi. I'm like, yeah, that
- 19:34Speaker 16: sounds great.
- 19:35Speaker 7: And he didn't use it. Now they're married, exactly.
- 19:41Speaker 16: It's all about being authentic and advertising.
- 19:44Speaker 3: And if you're advertising the fact that you're a person
- 19:46Speaker 3: that uses coupons and that's.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Who you, that's what you're doing.
- 19:49Speaker 16: Okay, I mean, hey, we can look at a financials It's okay, Jamie.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Thank you so much for calling.
- 19:54Speaker 4: We appreciate you, Jamie.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Thank you, Brook in Colombia.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Tell us your thoughts on coupons on the first date.
- 20:03Speaker 13: So it's a no for me. But I have a
- 20:05Speaker 13: different perspective.
- 20:06Speaker 7: Oh please.
- 20:07Speaker 8: Even though I can appreciate coupons on different dates, I
- 20:11Speaker 8: think men typically want to be providers, and they at
- 20:14Speaker 8: least want to think that they could provide for a woman.
- 20:17Speaker 8: So I feel like if a man is okay with
- 20:19Speaker 8: just shamelessly using a coupon on a first date, that
- 20:22Speaker 8: might be a rich flag.
- 20:24Speaker 3: My perspective is completely different because my wife is a
- 20:26Speaker 3: provider and and I'm bringing pennies to the restaurant.
- 20:35Speaker 13: But you're married now, it's okay. Once you get to
- 20:37Speaker 13: a certain point. Yeah, I feel like they have they
- 20:41Speaker 13: have an image to maintain.
- 20:43Speaker 9: I agree with that, Like the first date, do not
- 20:45Speaker 9: use a coupon the fifth date?
- 20:47Speaker 5: Maybe yeah, maybe.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I just think you're wasting time.
- 20:52Speaker 3: If you don't show your true self on date number one,
- 20:54Speaker 3: you're wasting everybody's time.
- 20:55Speaker 7: Kevin.
- 20:55Speaker 5: I get that too, though. I think Kevin makes a
- 20:58Speaker 5: point there.
- 20:58Speaker 13: I went on a date with a guy one time
- 21:00Speaker 13: and he was said, where do you want to go?
- 21:02Speaker 13: And I said Mexican and he was like, okay, well
- 21:04Speaker 13: let me check my banking information. And I thought he
- 21:06Speaker 13: was joking, and it turns out that was very much
- 21:09Speaker 13: a red flag.
- 21:11Speaker 4: I agree with that though, Brooke, because don't offer to take.
- 21:14Speaker 5: Me on a date and then have no money to
- 21:16Speaker 5: go at all.
- 21:17Speaker 2: And that's fine.
- 21:18Speaker 7: If we don't have money, we can hang out at home.
- 21:20Speaker 7: Just offer me to go.
- 21:22Speaker 5: But a coupon is different.
- 21:23Speaker 2: No, it's not.
- 21:24Speaker 4: I just feel like it's a little bit different. But
- 21:25Speaker 4: it don't offer me to go to on a date
- 21:27Speaker 4: if you can't take me out of it.
- 21:28Speaker 2: I don't think we're gonna change the X mind.
- 21:30Speaker 10: I don't.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I know.
- 21:32Speaker 9: In my mind, it's the same things, like don't go
- 21:33Speaker 9: to a restaurant if you can't tip the server, don't
- 21:36Speaker 9: invite me to dinner if you can't afford to pay
- 21:38Speaker 9: for dinner.
- 21:38Speaker 2: The coupon is like money, that's what it is. So
- 21:40Speaker 2: you can't afford it because you have the coupon.
- 21:42Speaker 7: Well you can now with the coupon, but.
- 21:44Speaker 13: It makes it seem like you're maybe not in the
- 21:46Speaker 13: same place at life. It's like, you can't afford a
- 21:49Speaker 13: dinner without a coupon.
- 21:50Speaker 7: You're using a fifty percent off coupon to take me out.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Oh my god, Okay, Brook, we really do have to
- 21:57Speaker 3: go with Thank you, o hid.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Whoever's in the background there one.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno.
- 22:06Speaker 4: In the morning, We're about to play Kevin Manho's Game
- 22:08Speaker 4: of the Day, presented by Genesis Diamonds.
- 22:11Speaker 5: It's named that tune Lullaby Edition.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I thought of another name for this game, okay late
- 22:16Speaker 3: in the week, but nighty Night for nightly because lola
- 22:19Speaker 3: by is like, you know, ninety nine bedtime.
- 22:22Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll stick Withabye.
- 22:24Speaker 2: I like ninety nine for nightly.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Okay, whatever, it's your game of the day, whatever you
- 22:27Speaker 4: want to call it. Kevin's gonna play a song. It's
- 22:30Speaker 4: a lullaby edition of the song. You gotta guess what
- 22:33Speaker 4: it is.
- 22:34Speaker 3: If you can do that, You're going to see Nightly
- 22:35Speaker 3: with Jonah Murray at the Ryman next Friday night.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Turn up your radio.
- 22:39Speaker 10: Here is today's clue. Do you have it?
- 22:55Speaker 2: Ricky?
- 22:55Speaker 5: I know what it is, but I can't think of
- 22:57Speaker 5: the name right now.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Six one seven, three seven, nine one seven.
- 23:03Speaker 14: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning take it to
- 23:05Speaker 14: see Nightly with Jonah Murray opening at the Ryman or
- 23:08Speaker 14: Upper Grass or Havin Mano's Game of the Day on
- 23:11Speaker 14: one oh seven five the River.
- 23:12Speaker 5: We're playing Name that tune Lullaby edition.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Pierce in Manchester, How you doing good?
- 23:17Speaker 10: There? Are you guys good?
- 23:18Speaker 3: I really like your name. I've always liked the name Pierce.
- 23:21Speaker 3: It's maybe Pierce Brosnan could be the reason why, but it's.
- 23:23Speaker 2: A cool name.
- 23:25Speaker 3: I appreciate that.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 23:26Speaker 2: How has it been living with the name Pierce.
- 23:28Speaker 7: It's actually been great. I've not met another one, so
- 23:30Speaker 7: it's pretty cool.
- 23:31Speaker 5: I love that for you. Pierce. Also not the point
- 23:34Speaker 5: of this.
- 23:35Speaker 4: We gotta play cool for Lullaby again, and then Pierce
- 23:38Speaker 4: has to guess all right.
- 23:40Speaker 3: We'll play it one more time. Pierce, hold on to
- 23:42Speaker 3: your guests for just a second.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 23:44Speaker 10: Today's clue.
- 23:58Speaker 2: The man with the cool name Pierson Manchester. Name that tune?
- 24:04Speaker 16: Is it Telephone by Lady Gaga?
- 24:06Speaker 5: Nice?
- 24:07Speaker 10: Yes?
- 24:08Speaker 4: It is nice? He congratulations. We're so excited for you.
- 24:12Speaker 4: You sound excited too.
- 24:13Speaker 5: So I love that.
- 24:14Speaker 6: I appreciate that.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 24:16Speaker 5: I am awesome.
- 24:17Speaker 4: You're gonna see Nightley and Jonahurray May thirtieth at the Rhymen.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Fantastic.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Thank you, so congratulations, Pierce, Thank you for listening. Do
- 24:25Speaker 3: you like the man Pierce the veil? I feel like
- 24:27Speaker 3: I would if I was a named Pierce.
- 24:29Speaker 5: It's funny. I've actually I saw a shirt that said
- 24:31Speaker 5: that a couple of years ago, so I bought it.
- 24:33Speaker 2: I've not heard any of their music, but I bought
- 24:35Speaker 2: it simply for my name on the shirt.
- 24:37Speaker 5: You should listen to their music because you might actually
- 24:39Speaker 5: like them.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Yeah, we like them. Yeah, all right, Pierce, Thank you again, buddy,
- 24:42Speaker 2: and have fun at the show.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 24:44Speaker 5: Hang on the line.
- 24:45Speaker 2: At what point did you know that it was telephone?
- 24:48Speaker 4: Right before he actually said telephone? I went, oh, that's
- 24:51Speaker 4: what it is.
- 24:52Speaker 5: It took me a second, like the third time you
- 24:54Speaker 5: heard it. Yes, three things, all right, a bit past.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Eight o'clock on this Thursday morning. I thank you for
- 25:00Speaker 3: starting yours with us. Ricky's got those three things.
- 25:03Speaker 5: Few album announcements to keep in mind.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Twenty one Pilots said their album Breach is coming out
- 25:07Speaker 4: in September. Renee Rapp announced her album Bite Me comes
- 25:11Speaker 4: out August first, and Addison Ray aka Addison.
- 25:14Speaker 5: Because It's what She's going by now.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Has released her track list for her upcoming album, which
- 25:18Speaker 4: is going to have twelve songs, no features. So all
- 25:22Speaker 4: just you know, some updates. Lots of people making announcements
- 25:25Speaker 4: this week about their albums. I'm hyped about all the
- 25:27Speaker 4: music we're going to get. Southwest Airlines will require portable chargers.
- 25:31Speaker 5: To be kept in plain sight while in use.
- 25:34Speaker 4: It's a new policy that's going in ef fact May
- 25:36Speaker 4: twenty eighth, so very soon, and the hope here is
- 25:38Speaker 4: to eliminate the potential for fires because of lithium ion batteries.
- 25:42Speaker 5: So Southwest said passengers.
- 25:44Speaker 4: May have already seen notifications about this rule when they've
- 25:46Speaker 4: been using the airlines app Southwest is the first US
- 25:50Speaker 4: airline to restrict the use of portable chargers like this,
- 25:53Speaker 4: but several Asian airlines have taken this action earlier this
- 25:56Speaker 4: year to limit the usage. There have already been nineteen
- 25:59Speaker 4: in incidences involving these batteries this year so far. Last
- 26:04Speaker 4: year's record high of eighty nine is just absolutely insane,
- 26:09Speaker 4: So they're trying to make sure obviously that we don't
- 26:11Speaker 4: have any incidences, any fires on the plane, making it
- 26:14Speaker 4: safer for everybody. So just something to keep in mind,
- 26:16Speaker 4: you're going to have to carry your portable chargers out
- 26:19Speaker 4: in front of them and if you're using them, they
- 26:22Speaker 4: just don't want anything bad happening. And National Sounds are
- 26:25Speaker 4: doing something really fun this weekend. Not only is Sunday
- 26:28Speaker 4: Sunday Funday, which you can win tickets to go to
- 26:31Speaker 4: tomorrow morning with first Collar of the Day at six twenty,
- 26:34Speaker 4: but also on Saturday they're doing a wristband matchmaking night.
- 26:39Speaker 4: So the idea here is you pick a wristband that
- 26:41Speaker 4: is correlated to your relationship status. Blue wristbands mean you're single,
- 26:45Speaker 4: Green as if you're taken, Red means complicated, Orange is
- 26:48Speaker 4: you're a wing person for.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Someone who is single. You pick one up right when
- 26:53Speaker 5: you get in.
- 26:53Speaker 4: And you wear it, and then it's supposed to be
- 26:55Speaker 4: a whole little matchmaking situation.
- 26:57Speaker 5: I think it's cool, right, I think it's great.
- 26:59Speaker 4: And also I have a lot of friends who are single,
- 27:02Speaker 4: and I know for ladies it's really hard going to
- 27:04Speaker 4: match making events because a lot of women show up
- 27:06Speaker 4: to them and a lot of men don't. So this
- 27:09Speaker 4: being sports, I think you have better chances of men
- 27:12Speaker 4: showing up.
- 27:12Speaker 3: It's a good idea to just wear those are own
- 27:14Speaker 3: life all the time people.
- 27:16Speaker 5: That's a cross.
- 27:16Speaker 3: No single people would be able to easily identify other
- 27:19Speaker 3: single people.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I feel like that's a lot wouldn't be hitting on
- 27:21Speaker 2: married people or anything.
- 27:23Speaker 4: You know, well, married people have wedding right, it's hard
- 27:25Speaker 4: to see all the time.
- 27:26Speaker 2: I don't know, I just think it's a good idea.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I also think, while we're at it, name tags for
- 27:29Speaker 2: everybody all the time.
- 27:31Speaker 4: I actually kind of like the name tag you. It
- 27:33Speaker 4: sounds insane, but I'm not opposed to it. Tickets are
- 27:36Speaker 4: currently on sale on their website if you want to
- 27:38Speaker 4: go to their matchmaking night this Saturday. I'm Ricky Sanchez
- 27:41Speaker 4: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Just quickly glance at somebody and oh, I see that
- 27:44Speaker 3: your name is Ricky and that you're taken.
- 27:46Speaker 4: You basically want to do that because you forget everybody saves.
- 27:49Speaker 14: One Ricky, Zach and Meno in the Morning, one oh
- 27:54Speaker 14: seven five The River, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
- 27:57Speaker 3: With a good question. We can all partici paid in this,
- 28:00Speaker 3: got us chatting in here yesterday. We want to know
- 28:02Speaker 3: your favorite movie soundtrack.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I have a list of the top ten movie
- 28:06Speaker 4: soundtracks of all time, but I want to see if
- 28:09Speaker 4: any of yours are on this list.
- 28:11Speaker 7: Oh, the Greatest Showman.
- 28:13Speaker 2: That's a good one.
- 28:13Speaker 4: The greatest show it's on here. Number four is the
