- 0:08Hey, thanks for having me. Thank you for popping over today to talk
- 0:11to us about this great event you guys have coming up on Saturday. Let's
- 0:14first start with how it all got started. Well, you know, you
- 0:17know, you hear all those sad stories, but you know, we're trying
- 0:20to do something from a past friend who passed away in twenty nineteen from cancer
- 0:25and everything. So what was his name, Tony Hanson. His nickname was
- 0:29Hannah what everybody called them. So we ended up starting a foundation called Hanna
- 0:34or Strong. It just goes to back to charity. You know, he
- 0:38was a very giving person and everything. So what we try to do is
- 0:42change around charities for giving away prizes or cash to help people who are struggling
- 0:48and make a better thing. And so we're very honored because this year you've
- 0:53decided to donate the proceeds to our foundation here the Big ninety eight point seven
- 0:57Big Christmas Wish, which we're always helping. Yeah, local community or local
- 1:00people in the community. It's right right up his alley. You know.
- 1:03He would do anything he could do for the community or for someone and help
- 1:07needed help. Well, that is so cool to be a part of it.
- 1:08And the event itself is a lot of fun. And so this year
- 1:11you're doing a bag tournament, ex cornhole whatever you might call it, but
- 1:15fun for everybody sort of event. Right, It's an event that anybody can
- 1:19do it. You know, the purpose of it is to get out,
- 1:21you know. You know, living in North Dakota, you only get four
- 1:23or five months there, so you got to get outside anytime you can,
- 1:26right, So we are having out the horse park, which we have plenty
- 1:29of room. You know. Obviously we'll have a concessions for kids and things
- 1:33if they want to be coming out. We do have a bar for the
- 1:36adult beverages and everything obviously and with being bags and we have the Johnson five
- 1:41band playing at twelve thirty two. Oh, that'll be nice live music.
- 1:44Bags for the whole family. And it is all going on actually on Saturday.
- 1:48Registration is at eleven the tournament starts at noon. We're going to make
- 1:51it super easy because people can register now while they're listening on our Facebook page.
- 1:55The link is right there, or they can just pop out on Saturday,
- 1:57help people helping people in this local area. Absolutely, I'm so glad
- 2:00you're able to honor your friend in that way, because, of course it's
- 2:04always sud it's so hard. But I think you know, Pike had a
- 2:06friend who passed away and they kind of do the same Yeah, the same
- 2:07same memorial you said, Keith, it's it's just a good reason to get
- 2:10together and remember your friend, keep his name alive. But at the same
- 2:14time, if you can give back at the same time, why not.
- 2:15Yeah, I mean that's why we're trying to grow this even more and more.
- 2:19Obviously, we have a lot of people coming back, people flying in
- 2:21from Arizona, Colorado. I mean, and we had always that seventy eighty
- 2:27people, so we just thought, you know, let's kick her up a
- 2:29notch, chick her up, not more for the more for the community,
- 2:31it's better, right, Yeah, absolutely, well, Keith, thank you
- 2:34so much for doing what you do. We'd love to see a bunch of
- 2:36people out there supporting, of course your cause. And then the big ninety
