- 2:32Speaker 2: the Beath.
- 2:32Speaker 3: You're joke.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that's for me to talk about, Jace, not you. Jace.
- 2:37Speaker 2: You're going to be doing a stoic reading of the day.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Can I say, when you put that suggestion in our
- 2:42Speaker 2: group chat where we put all our ideas, people were
- 2:46Speaker 2: totally absolutely physic.
- 2:47Speaker 3: People are looking for wisdom, aren't they in this in

- 3:05Speaker 2: March something something? Maybe?
- 3:07Speaker 4: Yeah, And just for the Oscars in Oscar's chat, just
- 3:09Speaker 4: let everyone know that I'm in the corner of I
- 3:10Speaker 4: don't really know or give a crap, so I'll be
- 3:13Speaker 4: representing that side.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Side. Well, there's been plenty of people like that out there, Casey.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Not only that, but old Mogi in an effort to
- 3:20Speaker 2: sort of shake up as wardrobe and is looking his
- 3:22Speaker 2: image out there. He's got himself some new leather sandals
- 3:27Speaker 2: coming up next. We'll be having a chat about that.
- 3:29Speaker 2: The fellows will be giving their positive feedback on my footwear,
- 3:33Speaker 2: and we'll be running a poll around the how good Man.
- 3:38Speaker 6: In the meantime, he's Queen's at the Stone Age.
- 3:40Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio hod Iky.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Red Chili Pepper's there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 3:50Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon, the time being thirteen minutes past four o'clock,
- 3:54Speaker 3: which means it's time for the big Pole. It's been
- 4:05Speaker 3: the first one of the year, isn't it, Fellows?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah? I think it is. Yeah, I think it is
- 4:08Speaker 2: first big pole. Pretty exciting. Well, today's big pole is
- 4:11Speaker 2: simply Mowgi's new leather sandals. Yes or no.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Now, if you want to see a photo, we've chucked
- 4:18Speaker 4: it up on the Huducky Big Shows Instagram and also
- 4:20Speaker 4: we'll chuck it on the Radio Huducky Facebook as well.
- 4:22Speaker 2: It's a carousel. There's a couple of photos there. Treat yourself.
- 4:24Speaker 2: The second one is an absolute ripper, Fellows. You know,
- 4:28Speaker 2: isn't in an attempt to actually own more clothes and
- 4:31Speaker 2: sort of clean up my image and not be walking
- 4:34Speaker 2: around in old T shirts and old filthy sandshoes and
- 4:38Speaker 2: all this sort of carry on as an almost fifty
- 4:40Speaker 2: year old man. Believe it, man, I've got to sort
- 4:43Speaker 2: myself out, and I haven't probably been clothed shopping for
- 4:46Speaker 2: two three years. Anyway, I had to come to Jesus
- 4:49Speaker 2: moment last week. I said, that's got to sort it out.
- 4:52Speaker 2: And one of the things that I'm doing to sort
- 4:54Speaker 2: out my wardrobe is owning shoes that aren't shoes but
- 4:58Speaker 2: aren't jandles. But also about Birkenstocks, because I've had birkenstocks
- 5:03Speaker 2: before and I find them really uncomfortable. Same so I've
- 5:05Speaker 2: gone and I've got myself some leather sandals. So I
- 5:08Speaker 2: just need to open myself up to the you know,
- 5:11Speaker 2: and dye and sarcastic, genuine support from the two of you,
- 5:15Speaker 2: just to help me feel like I've done the right thing.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll just to start that stuff off. Is it
- 5:21Speaker 4: called come to Jesus moment because he used to wear sandals.
- 5:23Speaker 2: That's why it is, yeah, to come to Jesus moment, like,
- 5:26Speaker 2: oh my god, not only was he an absolute backbone,
- 5:29Speaker 2: but checked the style on that brother Jesus was a backbone.
- 5:32Speaker 2: He was backbone.
- 5:35Speaker 4: If he was around now, I'd send him a Reburg
- 5:37Speaker 4: about you totally. He would love a Reburg about backbone.
- 5:40Speaker 4: And nowhere actually is another backbone. But we'll talk about
- 5:42Speaker 4: him another day.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Really, he'd probably go for the vegan burger. Who Jesus.
- 5:49Speaker 2: But here's the thing about him. I know he would
- 5:51Speaker 2: love the chips because his father, Joseph, was a carpenter
- 5:56Speaker 2: and he had lots of wood chips. This is a
- 5:58Speaker 2: slightly difference.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Yes, anyway, just to sandals chat. I've googled well known
- 6:03Speaker 4: people that we're sandals. Oh, great, Jesus on that list, Yes,
- 6:06Speaker 4: number one, Jesus, number two, old Mogi.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Jesus is always number one.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Yeah, he will be in my book.
- 6:13Speaker 2: My number two. Yeah, you're number two?
- 6:15Speaker 6: Are good? Yeah?
- 6:16Speaker 4: Yeah, me and Jesus number three. Okay, here the rest
- 6:18Speaker 4: of the people, Kendall Jenner, Rihanna Hailey, Bieber, Cindy Crawford,
- 6:24Speaker 4: Demi Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I'm happy with all of those. And then that's pretty
- 6:28Speaker 2: good company.
- 6:29Speaker 4: And then Leo DiCaprio and Justin Bieber.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Ah about Biber about the Bebes.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Yeah, because you've got leather sandals. I haven't worn leather
- 6:38Speaker 4: sandals since I had to wear Roman sandals at school.
- 6:41Speaker 4: I'd agree with you, and I actually quite enjoyed Roman sandals.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Because you could run in them and they would fly off.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yeah that's true. How you feel these ones? Man, they
- 6:48Speaker 2: haven't got the strap around the back so they can
- 6:50Speaker 2: fly off. You can't have bugger that. I can't go sprinting,
- 6:53Speaker 2: which I'd love. You can't put them into sport mode.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Okay, how do I say this?
- 6:58Speaker 2: Well, you were around with sandal the first invented Jason.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Totally, I was. But I used to have rope sandals.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, right yeah yeah, that makes.
- 7:05Speaker 3: It first and foremost, can I say how much I
- 7:11Speaker 3: admire you putting yourself out there like that things.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I don't feel like there's an insult coming.
- 7:18Speaker 3: And running with your sandals and good and good for
- 7:23Speaker 3: making making a change. Change is a good thing.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I appreciate that. Well, that's that? How good?
- 7:29Speaker 3: Can I can I phrase it? They're not my cup
- 7:35Speaker 3: of time?
- 7:35Speaker 2: No god, no, no, no, no, no at all.
- 7:41Speaker 3: At all.
- 7:42Speaker 2: And also, but this is from a guy that was
- 7:44Speaker 2: and this is the thing, this is why I'm not bothered.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, sketches, that's right, Yeah, sketch on sketches.
- 7:50Speaker 6: I mean, who who am I to talk? Yeah?
- 7:54Speaker 3: Wear slip on?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Well, I did ask you for your opinion, your opinion
- 7:57Speaker 2: does matter to me, Jason.
- 7:58Speaker 6: Okay, and.
- 8:01Speaker 3: I don't like them.
- 8:02Speaker 4: If there is a fashion expert listening, feel free to
- 8:05Speaker 4: give us a call on eight hundred.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Hold up, Why do we need a fashion expert when
- 8:08Speaker 2: we've got Jase.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 8:10Speaker 4: For another another point of view, Okay, yeah, yeah yeah,
- 8:13Speaker 4: and another thing to run by as well, actual as
- 8:15Speaker 4: I walked in Punkston, have a what he may have done.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Have an issue with the leather sand or so much
- 8:20Speaker 2: as the fact that I was wearing them with long pants, right, No,
- 8:23Speaker 2: I don't mind that. No, I mean I've I've seen
- 8:25Speaker 2: lots of absolute Jesus yeah, weird, weird jeansosos.
- 8:33Speaker 4: And that cargo cargo pants its long cargo pens. Jesus
- 8:37Speaker 4: loved three quarters three for eight three.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Though I give your opinion.
- 8:41Speaker 4: You can check out the photos on the Hodkey Instagram
- 8:44Speaker 4: and Facebook, and if you are a fashion expert, feel
- 8:46Speaker 4: free to give us a call on eight hundred Hodarchy.
- 8:48Speaker 2: And he loved the Dandy Warhols God great band.
- 8:54Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jon, Mike and Kyzy. Tune
- 8:57Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio hold Ich.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Herd Pipe there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 9:03Speaker 3: Wednesday afternoon. The time is twenty six minutes past four
- 9:06Speaker 3: o'clock the Big Pole today. Mogi's new leather sandals, yes
- 9:11Speaker 3: or no?
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, fellas, This comes as a result of the fact
- 9:14Speaker 2: that I'm trying to dress my age as a man
- 9:17Speaker 2: about to enter into his Is it my sixth decade?
- 9:21Speaker 2: It is, Gee is turning fifty later in the year,
- 9:24Speaker 2: and it's time for me to grow up. Yes, you know,
- 9:27Speaker 2: I've got to stop wearing these sort of youthful sort
- 9:29Speaker 2: of clothes, you know, Sketches and Adidas and all these
- 9:32Speaker 2: sorts of things. Those are for the kids, man, totally.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Man, notes are not for kids though for old people.
- 9:38Speaker 3: No, sketches are cool, man, No, just your sketches are cool.
- 9:42Speaker 2: But like buying large, the rest of right people not
- 9:45Speaker 2: wearing them. Yeah yeah, So anyway, I brought these new
- 9:48Speaker 2: leather sandals and they're made out of leather. Wow. And
- 9:51Speaker 2: so we're just trying to decide whether they are cool
- 9:53Speaker 2: or whether they suck kezy. We have been inundated with
- 9:57Speaker 2: text brother.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Yeah a big high school vibes. Moggi's from Gareth Adam
- 10:02Speaker 4: monson Earth. There's a website we can get some more
- 10:04Speaker 4: photos of your feet in the sandals?
- 10:05Speaker 2: Oh yes, sexually Instagram Instagram. Yeah yeah, there's two photos
- 10:09Speaker 2: on there, one even more. Yeah yeah, I could do that.
- 10:13Speaker 6: Yeah, it is pretty hot.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Will says let the dogs breathe, man. But then there's
- 10:18Speaker 4: other texts like moggie, they are bloody horrendous. Yeah, and
- 10:22Speaker 4: an Eliza says, you've got to have nice feet. Oh yeah,
- 10:25Speaker 4: otherwise don't expose them because it's traumatized.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Oh thank god. Well that's good.
- 10:28Speaker 3: But is Zerra, is there such a thing as nice feet?
- 10:33Speaker 6: What do you mean for me? For me?
- 10:36Speaker 3: I mean, is that sexist?
- 10:39Speaker 4: We are there any nice men's feet?
- 10:42Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 10:42Speaker 2: Well, I mean look I sort of take issue with
- 10:45Speaker 2: that because that means that pretty much no men then
- 10:47Speaker 2: are allowed to wear jendles or birken stocks or anything else.
- 10:50Speaker 2: They have to wear covered shoes.
- 10:51Speaker 3: I just I don't care if they're nice feet or no.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I just wonder if if there's such a thing as
- 10:57Speaker 3: a man having a nice foot.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Well, yeah, it's a good point. J is because I
- 11:00Speaker 4: know you're massively in defeat.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Oh yeah, hugely. You wait till I get home. I'll
- 11:06Speaker 3: be paying some more attention to that bloody photo on
- 11:09Speaker 3: instad there of Mogi sandal shoe.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Sandal shoe, sandal shoe man. You want to see a
- 11:15Speaker 4: photo of the sandals. By the way, they're on Facebook,
- 11:17Speaker 4: They're on Instagram as well.
- 11:18Speaker 3: On the radio Hdarchyz, I want to know what you
- 11:21Speaker 3: thought of them, because you didn't give me your opinion.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Can you show me them again? Right now? Do you
- 11:25Speaker 2: have them? Feet? Right? Okay, here we go. Just imagine
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm just swaming along the street, just a you sort
- 11:33Speaker 2: of spine me out of the corner of your eye
- 11:34Speaker 2: and then you're like.
- 11:36Speaker 3: A double double yeah, yeah, I walk past you.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Okay, okay, all right, So here comes Moggie. He's going
- 11:44Speaker 4: for a walk across the side of the street. I'm like, what, Look,
- 11:52Speaker 4: I don't hate them, I don't love them. It's the
- 11:56Speaker 4: first time I've seen sandals like that. But that brown
- 11:59Speaker 4: leather on the bottom, they're black on the top. They're
- 12:01Speaker 4: pretty innocuous, you know, they're not.
- 12:03Speaker 2: In your face, they're not keysy. Look, I just need
- 12:06Speaker 2: something to be able to wear around the joint that
- 12:07Speaker 2: I could wear. Let's say, for example, I take my
- 12:10Speaker 2: lovely wife out for a lunch somewhere on a sunny day.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I need to have some footwear for that. I can't
- 12:15Speaker 2: wear flip flops. I can't wear jendles and they are
- 12:18Speaker 2: my favorite footwear, but I'm not allowed to. My wife
- 12:21Speaker 2: has ruled that out. I also can't wear high top
- 12:24Speaker 2: ponies that I've had for three years.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Can I just qualify too what I said about Yep,
- 12:29Speaker 3: you know I'm not a fan. No okay, and I
- 12:32Speaker 3: hold that, but they ain't keysy floaters. No, no, you
- 12:36Speaker 3: know we're not talking that sort of thing.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Do you like that, because for a split second there
- 12:41Speaker 4: the attention was on Mowgi's bad fashion and Jace freaked out.
- 12:44Speaker 4: I was like, oh, we can't do that, but a
- 12:46Speaker 4: bit of put it back on Keyzy's shoes, which are
- 12:48Speaker 4: actually really cool shoes.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Just looking up famous people from history, yes, that have
- 12:53Speaker 4: worn sandals, So.
- 12:54Speaker 2: You're in good company here. King Tutankamun, Oh yeah, he
- 12:59Speaker 2: was a mad dog, big teats.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Big big teats, they used to call him. He actually
- 13:04Speaker 4: had a club foot because he was in brid Yeah.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Oh wow, yeah yeah, yeah. You've got plenty of Greek
- 13:10Speaker 4: philosophers like Socrates and Plato.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yeahitis Hpictitis, Julius Caesar.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Yes, Caesar loved it.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Alexander the Great, Yeah, who conquered the world before he
- 13:20Speaker 4: was what was twenty seven?
- 13:24Speaker 2: And this is the thing that's right. You're going to
- 13:26Speaker 2: say they're un cool. Steve Jobs wore birkenstocks every day
- 13:30Speaker 2: of his life. You're telling me he's uncle. He's actually
- 13:32Speaker 2: massively uncle. Steve Jobs the Deli Lama.
- 13:37Speaker 3: He's a pretty chill.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, he's pretty cool. Gandytler g Oh, yes, Nelson Mandela
- 13:42Speaker 2: check this out? Okay, what are you going against?
- 13:47Speaker 6: New nothing?
- 13:49Speaker 3: I was trying to watch a Nelson and Sandals.
- 13:56Speaker 1: The Whochy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Key. Tune
- 13:59Speaker 1: in boy dated four radio.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Place no more there on the radio. Holdankey Big show
- 14:05Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon. The time is four forty one.

- 14:11Speaker 3: songs certainly did ja Let's go to the phone lines?
- 14:20Speaker 3: Good Tommy, mad barsetid how's life? Yeah?
- 14:22Speaker 2: Pretty good?
- 14:23Speaker 6: Boys?
- 14:23Speaker 2: There are you doing?
- 14:24Speaker 7: Ye?
- 14:25Speaker 3: Beautiful day in christ Urch?
- 14:26Speaker 8: Is it.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Perfect?
- 14:29Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 14:31Speaker 4: About where about Tom? Which road man? Where are you?
- 14:39Speaker 3: I just come off a jail.
- 14:40Speaker 6: Yeah, let's see not.
- 14:47Speaker 4: The Yeah, Hey, hey, Tom, what do you do for
- 14:51Speaker 4: a crust?
- 14:51Speaker 8: Man?
- 14:53Speaker 5: I we're gonna works up playing playing around the middle
- 14:55Speaker 5: and stuff.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, that sounds pretty backbone to me, fellow.
- 14:59Speaker 4: It sounds like you're the like fabricating something or blacksmithing
- 15:02Speaker 4: or something.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Which is it, Tom?
- 15:03Speaker 6: Fabricating?
- 15:06Speaker 3: Do you do any welding?
- 15:07Speaker 6: Tom? A little bit? Every now?
- 15:10Speaker 2: I mean? Yeah? Good, good, good question Jason.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Next question here, Tom, what's for dinner tonight?
- 15:16Speaker 8: Man?
- 15:18Speaker 2: I think it's Tom? You to be honest. Yeah, because
- 15:23Speaker 2: the names Tom. How good Tom's having Tom? Yum? Another
- 15:27Speaker 2: question here Tom, how often.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Do you floss?
- 15:31Speaker 2: Oh? Jesus think about that.
- 15:33Speaker 4: I'm gonna put never never. Every time the dentist tells
- 15:37Speaker 4: you to yes when you say sure, will and then
- 15:39Speaker 4: you don't. Next question, what color are your undies?
- 15:42Speaker 6: Tom?
- 15:45Speaker 3: Black's very popular. I don't like a white undy fellas
- 15:49Speaker 3: I do.
- 15:50Speaker 2: But it's only when you're going out for dinner and
- 15:52Speaker 2: the white and yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Final question Tom from christ Church? What is your deepest fear?
- 16:03Speaker 2: Another one for the height.
- 16:04Speaker 3: It's interesting.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Yeah, we haven't had sharks. I thought we would have
- 16:08Speaker 2: had a lot of sharks.
- 16:09Speaker 6: Yeah, and pretty crazy.
- 16:12Speaker 2: What's that mate? When you up pie and you look
- 16:14Speaker 2: down pretty now imagine the sharks. Now, imagine there's a
- 16:17Speaker 2: shark up there with you. Pretty scary and over the
- 16:21Speaker 2: top of the balcony as well. You're dead.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Hey, great news for you, Tom. You're just win yourself
- 16:28Speaker 3: a fifty dollars. Rebig about your mate, Sun on the
- 16:29Speaker 3: line and packed, Sam will take right.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Good on you, man, God, oh, Thom seems like a
- 16:36Speaker 2: good He was driving his car on his phone? Is
- 16:39Speaker 2: that what was happening there? Yeah? Possibly a passenger. We
- 16:43Speaker 2: don't know. No, No, he had hands free, did he Yeah? Yeah?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Doo doo. Man.
- 16:50Speaker 4: We're not just gonna start singing along to the Steers?
- 17:01Speaker 7: Oh?
- 17:02Speaker 2: Is it the Killers?
- 17:03Speaker 3: Is it?
- 17:03Speaker 2: I think so?
- 17:04Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:05Speaker 2: I have some chips.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Show the Hidarchy Big Show weekdays from four on radio.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Holdarky Oasis.
- 17:12Speaker 3: There on the radio, Hold Arky Big Show this Wednesday afternoon,
- 17:16Speaker 3: the time being four point fifty two. Let's talk TV.
- 17:19Speaker 6: Yes, what's on the Telly?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Yes, Mike Minogue?
- 17:25Speaker 6: Yes, yes, yes, I've played my part.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Never did I know he won't stop? I would just
- 17:48Speaker 2: have that.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I can't wait all day, That's what it takes.
- 17:51Speaker 4: So this is very annoying to listen to.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yes, just say yes. Do you remember when last night
- 18:01Speaker 2: I watched Task on Neon Via. It's got Mark Rufflo
- 18:07Speaker 2: and it my message Jason especially, and I said, mate,
- 18:12Speaker 2: how sor I've got a chipstick in my throat? I
- 18:15Speaker 2: don't take some of that. Have you tried saying yeah
- 18:18Speaker 2: for like a minute straight? Maybe I could? But I
- 18:21Speaker 2: asked Jason it was any good? He said, you can't
- 18:23Speaker 2: go wrong with Mark Ruffalo with that effect, And generally
- 18:27Speaker 2: I'd agree with you, but with us it was really boring.
- 18:29Speaker 2: So we didn't even get through the first episode. I
- 18:31Speaker 2: got about forty five minutes in, but it was just
- 18:33Speaker 2: like what's going on? Then we moved on to something else.
- 18:37Speaker 2: But I'll ask you, Jase, does it get better?
- 18:39Speaker 6: It does?
- 18:39Speaker 2: Okay?
- 18:41Speaker 6: And it is.
- 18:42Speaker 3: His character is your classic brilliant sort of investigator type
- 18:48Speaker 3: character but with a lot of issues.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he is.
- 18:54Speaker 3: I'm a big fan of Mark Ruffalo and I think
- 18:56Speaker 3: he's a really good actor. My wife, he's one of
- 18:59Speaker 3: my wife what do you call them?
- 19:01Speaker 2: Hall pass?
- 19:02Speaker 6: Hall pass?
- 19:02Speaker 3: So she got again, she's got two and Mark is
- 19:05Speaker 3: one of them.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Isn't the other one, Ashton Kutcher back in the day.
- 19:10Speaker 2: He's too old.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Now though, we're yeah, we're talking like twenty years ago.
- 19:14Speaker 3: She was like, Ashton Kutcher. I said, who do you
- 19:16Speaker 3: find heart? And she said, oh, Ashton Kutcher is pretty hard.
- 19:19Speaker 2: He's about sex three or six four, modeled for Tom Ford.
- 19:25Speaker 6: He's a good looking feller.
- 19:26Speaker 4: It's always a bit worrying, though, when your hall pass
- 19:28Speaker 4: looks nothing like you. Yeah, you know, like if her
- 19:33Speaker 4: hall pass was you know, like, I don't know Parker.
- 19:35Speaker 6: Off and that.
- 19:39Speaker 3: In that regard, I do look like a bit like
- 19:41Speaker 3: Mark Ruffalo and his current character that you were talking about.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you know, the pot belly, the great hairs
- 19:47Speaker 3: and all that sort of stuff like Mark Ruffle.
- 19:49Speaker 6: Oh but yeah, no, I enjoyed it.
- 19:53Speaker 3: But then after you texted me that, I was like,
- 19:56Speaker 3: did we finish that?
- 19:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not sure.
- 19:59Speaker 6: What's it on?
- 20:00Speaker 2: It's on neon? Oh okay, yeah, we don't have and
- 20:03Speaker 2: it just sort of bounces all over the show. And look,
- 20:06Speaker 2: I probably possibly would have kept on watching, except everyone
- 20:09Speaker 2: else in the room was completely over it.
- 20:11Speaker 6: Fair enough.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, anyway, I don't want to give it a
- 20:14Speaker 2: rating yet because I haven't finished an episode. I don't
- 20:16Speaker 2: think that's fair fear enough. It's called task, yes, task, right,
- 20:21Speaker 2: I to be.
- 20:22Speaker 6: Honest with your feelers. Just had a pretty quiet night
- 20:24Speaker 6: and watched tennis.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Who you watch?
- 20:27Speaker 6: I can't even remember who it was? Just who was
- 20:30Speaker 6: it it was? I can't even remember some foreign dude.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you're onto the men's now, Yeah?
- 20:36Speaker 6: Yeah, Well, and then and then I watched a replay
- 20:39Speaker 6: of the woman's doubles.
- 20:40Speaker 4: How's it looking over there for playing because it's in
- 20:43Speaker 4: the mid forties outrageous.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Yes, So I've got this new thing at the Australian Open.
- 20:47Speaker 3: I think it's a relatively a new thing called the
- 20:49Speaker 3: sort of head gauge. Yeah, they put the roof up,
- 20:53Speaker 3: but once it gets to a certain heat, then the
- 20:56Speaker 3: all play stops.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Yeah right, yeah, but they this is the thing. It's
- 21:00Speaker 2: still gets to forty five degrees, it's hotter on seeing
- 21:02Speaker 2: to court, and then they just keep on playing. It's
- 21:04Speaker 2: absolutely ridiculous.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Yeah, but they Yeah, And they're also doing the thing
- 21:07Speaker 3: with the roof now and putting the roof favor and
- 21:09Speaker 3: they're all air conditioned in the stadiums they are, and
- 21:13Speaker 3: the top seed singer was actually getting his ass handed
- 21:16Speaker 3: to him and it was cramping up and looking like
- 21:19Speaker 3: he was going to lose his match, right, and then
- 21:22Speaker 3: they said, oh, we've reached the heat pinnacle.
- 21:25Speaker 6: We had to start. Then they put the roof favor
- 21:28Speaker 6: clicked on the air conditioning and he clicked back into
- 21:31Speaker 6: gear after.
- 21:32Speaker 4: The match with the air conditioning and the roof closed.
- 21:34Speaker 6: Yeah, well you should just from the get go.
- 21:36Speaker 4: It's so stupid. It's like, oh, I've looked at the forecast.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Today's mean to be forty six degrees. Maybe we'll put
- 21:41Speaker 4: the air co on on.
- 21:42Speaker 2: It's so stupid, absolutely crazy, isn't it?
- 21:44Speaker 4: It is?
- 21:45Speaker 6: But I enjoy the Australian Open. It's great to watch.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Nice.
- 21:48Speaker 4: I watched the video about Japan.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Oh I did you? What was the video about? It
- 21:52Speaker 2: was it about Osaka, it.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Was about Osica, it was about it was about Hiroshima,
- 21:57Speaker 4: where I'm thinking of going on holiday later the year.
- 21:59Speaker 4: So just in some research watching little Japan travel.
- 22:02Speaker 2: It's been exciting, Kez.
- 22:03Speaker 4: It's not long ago now, man, No, it's the end
- 22:05Speaker 4: of the years.
- 22:06Speaker 2: It's ages. Oh my god, it's so soon.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Yeah, Hey, what's coming up? After five guys?
- 22:10Speaker 6: Wow, I'll tell you what.
- 22:11Speaker 3: You've got an interesting thing happening in your house tonight,
- 22:14Speaker 3: having you're Keezy and over the next five.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Days, certainly do Jason plus I believe I'll tell you
- 22:19Speaker 4: after five minutes. Ah that plus Liz from the Bess
- 22:22Speaker 4: is coming in for a year and two and they
- 22:24Speaker 4: are massive at the moment. They were on Jimmy Kimmel
- 22:27Speaker 4: Live recently.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Wow, it's huge, pretty big.
- 22:33Speaker 1: The hold aching Big Show with Jas, Mike and Kezy.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ike.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Welcome back here as a backbones hope you're surviving your
- 22:41Speaker 3: Wednesday afternoon on this glorious summer's day in Auckland City.
- 22:45Speaker 3: You're listening to the Big Show, brought to you by Rebuild, GARYA.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Cravey the Street who freshly made with Rieburger.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Scrumpus.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Why do we keep saying just Auckland City because we
- 22:56Speaker 4: go to the whole country.
- 22:58Speaker 2: It's a beautiful day and city.
- 23:00Speaker 4: But then, how do people like the cargo feel hearing there? Oh?
- 23:03Speaker 6: Not good?
- 23:04Speaker 2: But Jase doesn't care about that.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Oh okay, my thinking stops on the fringes of Auckland.
- 23:10Speaker 4: P Yeah, right, Okay, Razor back road, Razor back road. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 23:16Speaker 4: so you don't give a crap about like South islandon
- 23:19Speaker 4: was I was.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Merely letting the rest of the country know that in
- 23:23Speaker 3: Auckland City today it's a beautiful day.
- 23:25Speaker 4: But if we're going to do that, I think we
- 23:26Speaker 4: then have to say an in Hamilton it's a nice day,
- 23:29Speaker 4: and in Wellington it's an okay day.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Three four eight three?
- 23:32Speaker 6: Is it?
- 23:32Speaker 2: Do you like the fact that Jase tells you what
- 23:34Speaker 2: the weather is like in Auckland on the air every hour? Yes?
- 23:38Speaker 8: Or no?
- 23:39Speaker 2: That's that's a good question. That's not quite because because
- 23:42Speaker 2: we could we can share it around it. But for example,
- 23:44Speaker 2: we could say, on this beautiful day, and shall we
- 23:47Speaker 2: go with doat Bore and it is twenty four degrees today,
- 23:52Speaker 2: a little bit of claire.
- 23:55Speaker 3: An observation the day is in Auckland City today and say, hey,
- 23:59Speaker 3: it's a beautiful da.
- 24:00Speaker 2: No, totally, I get it. And to be honest, personally,
- 24:03Speaker 2: I love it, he loves it.
- 24:04Speaker 6: I love it.
- 24:04Speaker 3: And let's be honest, fellaws. We haven't had much good
- 24:06Speaker 3: weather to be banging on about, have we.
- 24:08Speaker 4: But why can't we say, on this beautiful day in
- 24:11Speaker 4: New Zealand.
- 24:12Speaker 2: It's beautiful.
- 24:13Speaker 3: I don't want to assume that it's beautiful everywhere.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Yeah, right, it's shocking because it has been shocking in
- 24:18Speaker 2: some places, and then it seems like you're kicking people
- 24:21Speaker 2: in their downcas.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Right, why don't we say the Big Show brought to
- 24:25Speaker 4: you by Reburger. Hello, Hello, Crave with the street. You
- 24:30Speaker 4: know maybe that I don't know, yum, Okay, we're gonna
- 24:34Speaker 4: do that.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Look, I don't know, Jason.
- 24:36Speaker 3: We'll let the people people three four eight three. In
- 24:39Speaker 3: the meantime, there's a bit of Lincoln Park.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Hell, yes, Une, turn it up.
- 24:45Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio
- 24:49Speaker 1: Darchy Friends Ferdinand.
- 24:51Speaker 3: They're on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 24:54Speaker 3: The time thirteen minutes past five o'clock.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Fellas pretty exciting times for me. On tonight they land,
- 25:01Speaker 4: I think close to ten pm or something.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Got to go pick them up. But some friends of
- 25:04Speaker 2: ours are staying at our place for five nights.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Lovely couple. Yeah, long shift, there's a long shift. Yeah,
- 25:12Speaker 4: but they're bringing a six month old human child.
- 25:16Speaker 6: Not have made it this.
- 25:17Speaker 4: I think it's theirs.
- 25:18Speaker 2: I think the child.
- 25:19Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Yeah, so we're having it's the first time I've ever
- 25:22Speaker 4: had a baby sleepover at old Keesy's house. Yeah, and
- 25:26Speaker 4: I'm not you know, like obviously I'm in my mid
- 25:28Speaker 4: thirties and you guys are being on about how you
- 25:30Speaker 4: want a grand kid and blah blah blah.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I don't want a grand kid or Jason, Well, it's
- 25:34Speaker 2: not so much me.
- 25:35Speaker 6: It's my partner.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, Jason's wife kid. Yeah, not his wife as partner,
- 25:40Speaker 2: Oh your partner.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 4: Anyway, so I got a six month old staying and
- 25:48Speaker 4: you literally have no idea how to prepare for this stuff.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Like my wife and I were talking, We've never had
- 25:52Speaker 4: a baby stay before, so and we talked to the parents.
- 25:55Speaker 4: I'll just put down something on the floor in our
- 25:57Speaker 4: room and she could just sleep there. And newspaper in
- 26:00Speaker 4: your paper down in your room, No in their rooms.
- 26:04Speaker 4: So yeah, we're just in the corner. We put down
- 26:06Speaker 4: some newspaper.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Yeah, you could just take out a drawer if you've
- 26:09Speaker 3: got a set of draws that you're not using and
- 26:11Speaker 3: just stuff that with newspaper.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Maybe, oh, like out of the Duchess, Out of the
- 26:16Speaker 4: DUCHESSA put it on the ground stuff it with newspaper. Yes, okay,
- 26:21Speaker 4: I put like a bowl out with some lolly, isn't it.
- 26:24Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 26:24Speaker 2: That's good.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Okay, is there anything else I need?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Sweet? Just give them a screen? Yeah okay, you know,
- 26:31Speaker 2: a iPad or a phone or a TV. They trip out, man,
- 26:34Speaker 2: because the thing about babies is everything's amazing to them.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Yeah, you're right.
- 26:38Speaker 2: So now imagine what about you know they're watching the
- 26:41Speaker 2: Lego movie? Yeah? Yeah, just really fast?
- 26:45Speaker 4: What if I put the PlayStation in their room?
- 26:49Speaker 2: I mean it's kind of wasted on them, really, because
- 26:50Speaker 2: I don't have the motor skills you just need.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Yeah, so you could just play one of your games
- 26:55Speaker 3: on it. You have it playing in the background, some
- 26:58Speaker 3: kind of Movi.
- 26:59Speaker 6: That's it, right.
- 27:01Speaker 3: I don't know what Blooding Guts is and maybe not
- 27:03Speaker 3: the busy ones obviously that you do, but but other
- 27:06Speaker 3: ones have to go buy a.
- 27:07Speaker 2: New game then, right okay?
- 27:10Speaker 4: And then like in terms of sleeping through the night, yes,
- 27:12Speaker 4: that should be.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Fine, right, It varies from child to child, but no, no,
- 27:18Speaker 2: you won't be sleeping through the night.
- 27:19Speaker 3: How separated are you from this couple that are going
- 27:23Speaker 3: to be staying with you? In terms of where are
- 27:24Speaker 3: they sleeping we're in.
- 27:26Speaker 4: The same house.
- 27:27Speaker 6: Yeah, no, you're not to hang on.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Can I ask these Yeah, this is not too personal.
- 27:32Speaker 4: I'm going to go ahead and say it probably is.
- 27:34Speaker 3: But yes, you know, are you and your wife?
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yes, you cannot ask that question.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Looking at this is a situation that, oh, we could
- 27:42Speaker 3: see what it would be like having.
- 27:44Speaker 2: A little bubber in the house, bubba in the house,
- 27:47Speaker 2: a little keysy. No, we're not. You're not looking at it,
- 27:53Speaker 2: you know, because I tell you what, there would be
- 27:56Speaker 2: very very few people on the face of the earth
- 27:58Speaker 2: that have ever actually gone through the exercise of saying,
- 28:00Speaker 2: you know what, I'm going to get mate to come
- 28:03Speaker 2: over with your baby and live with me for a week,
- 28:05Speaker 2: and then I'm going to see if I'm actually interested
- 28:07Speaker 2: in evan a child. Well, just on, you just think
- 28:09Speaker 2: you should and then you do. Yeah, madness, it is madness.
- 28:12Speaker 7: On that.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Back in the day when my wife and I we
- 28:14Speaker 3: had hundreds of kids, and we ran a little business
- 28:17Speaker 3: called Borrow my Baby, Yes, And it was for people
- 28:19Speaker 3: that were thinking about possibly having a kid, right and
- 28:23Speaker 3: they weren't sort of sure how they're going to cope
- 28:25Speaker 3: with it, so we'd give them our baby, and then
- 28:28Speaker 3: they'd look after it for a given whatever time that
- 28:31Speaker 3: they we're paying for a month, two months, three months,
- 28:34Speaker 3: six months, six months, and then at the end of
- 28:36Speaker 3: it they're like, oh no, yeah, oh yeah, that was
- 28:40Speaker 3: let's go to the you know, let's go to bed
- 28:42Speaker 3: and make a baby.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Wouldn't they if they had your baby for six months
- 28:45Speaker 4: when they get quite attached to your baby?
- 28:47Speaker 6: Oh, sometimes they did.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You have to make sure that that's
- 28:51Speaker 2: in the contract that it doesn't matter if you do
- 28:53Speaker 2: get attached, you still have to give it better.
- 28:56Speaker 4: You have to pay for more months, yes, yeah, otherwise yeah,
- 28:59Speaker 4: like a subscript service.
- 29:01Speaker 6: Yeah, oh yeah.
- 29:03Speaker 2: I never thought about it like that. I guess this
- 29:05Speaker 2: is good you should be thinking about because I know
- 29:07Speaker 2: that you're in the planning stages at the moment.
- 29:09Speaker 4: Maggie, I'm not in the planning station, are you are.
- 29:13Speaker 4: You've announced You've announced that I'm becoming a father. I
- 29:17Speaker 4: think about four times on the show. Yeah, sorry, no,
- 29:21Speaker 4: I'm not in the planning stages. I'm not becoming a father.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Mum's the word.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Oh god, I'm.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Gonna get it for sect me just despite Mogi, no, no,
- 29:35Speaker 4: no need.
- 29:36Speaker 1: There's the Darkness The Hidarchy Big Show week days from
- 29:40Speaker 1: four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 29:42Speaker 3: The Pixie's here on the Radio hold Archy Big Show
- 29:45Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon. The time is exactly twenty five minutes
- 29:49Speaker 3: past five o'clock, which means it's time.
- 29:52Speaker 2: For Oscar Chat with Old Moggie there.
- 30:11Speaker 6: Yeah, how good.
- 30:13Speaker 4: By the way, pug Soun's here and pug Son as well.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Yeah, getting films so good? That one so good. We're
- 30:21Speaker 2: talking about the Academy Awards that are happening next month
- 30:23Speaker 2: are actually March the fifteenth, They're happening over in Los Angeles, yes,
- 30:29Speaker 2: and specifically we're talking about the Best Film nominations, which
- 30:32Speaker 2: are all the nominees have been came out like last
- 30:36Speaker 2: week or something like that. The top they now do
- 30:38Speaker 2: ten nominees for Best Film, which is a lot, and
- 30:42Speaker 2: they do that in the hope that more people actually
- 30:44Speaker 2: care about the Academy Awards, which most people nowadays don't
- 30:47Speaker 2: care about it all. Is that where you fall, Keys,
- 30:50Speaker 2: how do you feel about the Academy That My.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Thought towards the Academy Awards is it's cool if for
- 30:54Speaker 4: New Zealander gets something or gets even nominated and whatever,
- 30:57Speaker 4: win's Best Picture. I think I must watch that at
- 30:59Speaker 4: some stage. I simply must. I don't care unless Will
- 31:02Speaker 4: Smith slaps someone. I don't really care.
- 31:04Speaker 2: That was a good one. What about you, hoodie Jane?
- 31:05Speaker 6: I can give or take. Yes, really, to be honest,
- 31:08Speaker 6: I mean I haven't come up on the on the television.
- 31:12Speaker 3: I might watch a bit of it, but I don't
- 31:14Speaker 3: get overly infused by you know, people congratulating.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Them, so certainly don't sit down and watch it. Yeah, yes,
- 31:21Speaker 2: but anyway, the nominees are out for Best Picture.
- 31:23Speaker 4: They are The Secret Agent, never heard of It, Bogonia, Begoniagonia,
- 31:31Speaker 4: ham Net, Hamnet. I feel you're just making putting words
- 31:36Speaker 4: together sentimental value, no, Frankenstein. Ah, yes, the Del Toro,
- 31:44Speaker 4: that's right, which I've not seen. You guys have seen that,
- 31:46Speaker 4: haven't y?
- 31:46Speaker 2: I haven't Netflix. One Battle after another, so it's on
- 31:50Speaker 2: Netflix made it is and something I work with quite
- 31:53Speaker 2: a lot. Kate Harley has been nominated for Best Costume
- 31:56Speaker 2: for that, so I'm very excited for her to potentially
- 31:58Speaker 2: absolutely one Battle after another. We have seen that, Pugs.
- 32:02Speaker 2: That was the best thing I watched last year. Wow, yeah,
- 32:04Speaker 2: yeah it really is. Yeah, that one Jay's Train dreams.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Oh great, yeah, Joey. They didn't get nominated for Best Actor.
- 32:15Speaker 4: What's Trained Dreams about? Is that about a guy who
- 32:17Speaker 4: dreams about trains all the time like Moggi?
- 32:19Speaker 3: No, it's about a guy that loses so many loves
- 32:21Speaker 3: very dearly and never quite pulls it back together.
- 32:24Speaker 2: It's not a very good title. Then it's nothing to
- 32:26Speaker 2: do with trains. Marty Supreme, Ah, Timothy Shamalama, ding Dong
- 32:32Speaker 2: all right, very popular, and then the final two are
- 32:36Speaker 2: sinners and the reason why you're here pokes on if
- 32:40Speaker 2: one starring Brad pitt.
- 32:41Speaker 4: Formula one the movie has been nominated.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Has been nominated for Best Picture, one of the top
- 32:48Speaker 2: ten pictures of the year.
- 32:49Speaker 7: Wow, your reaction kind of sees everything easy. The fact
- 32:53Speaker 7: that you were questioning even then.
- 32:56Speaker 4: Because I know that Formula one the movie, having not
- 32:58Speaker 4: seen it. They've got Brad pittner, which is cool. It'll
- 33:00Speaker 4: just be like a kind of two hour long sort
- 33:01Speaker 4: of actually bit of lighthearted, but not really that high
- 33:04Speaker 4: quality thing with Brad pitt looking really hot, with him
- 33:07Speaker 4: looking hot in racing cars and stuff. I never thought
- 33:09Speaker 4: it would be best picture quality, and it's not you're right, one.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Hundred percent agree.
- 33:13Speaker 7: That movie enraged me when I watch it and I thought,
- 33:16Speaker 7: there's no possible way that it's going to be best picture.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Right, It's not even that you thought there was no
- 33:21Speaker 2: possible way. Thought never even occurred to you, because of
- 33:24Speaker 2: course it won't be, And somehow it was.
- 33:28Speaker 6: Now Bogonia?
- 33:29Speaker 2: Is it the stone One's name? Was there another one
- 33:33Speaker 2: of his?
- 33:34Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 33:34Speaker 3: Yes, Jesse Plemmons in it as well. I was going
- 33:37Speaker 3: to watch it the other night on Apple or priming
- 33:41Speaker 3: fourteen bucks.
- 33:42Speaker 6: So we bag her off.
- 33:44Speaker 2: What to watch?
- 33:45Speaker 4: Freaking juicy Lemons?
- 33:46Speaker 2: What is it? Pegonia?
- 33:48Speaker 6: Begonias? What's that like? Pak sound a good film?
- 33:52Speaker 2: I listen. I haven't seen Bugonia. There's only a few
- 33:54Speaker 2: on that list that I've seen.
- 33:55Speaker 3: But has anyone seen Hamnet?
- 33:58Speaker 7: I haven't seen Hamnet filming scale, though, I think it's
- 34:01Speaker 7: going to We're going to get.
- 34:02Speaker 2: To those ones Jay's, I think. But the main thing
- 34:04Speaker 2: here was to moan about brad Pitt. Brad Pitt just
- 34:07Speaker 2: he was there for a check. The whole thing was
- 34:09Speaker 2: just one big fat check.
- 34:10Speaker 6: It was that entire movie.
- 34:12Speaker 2: It was it's it's technically they say it's amazing because
- 34:16Speaker 2: of the cameras that they used, Jason, the filming, the
- 34:19Speaker 2: speeds that they got up to the way they filmed
- 34:21Speaker 2: the action as the cows went around the track. I
- 34:24Speaker 2: didn't really care.
- 34:25Speaker 6: I didn't really.
- 34:28Speaker 7: I think the technology was clever, and the way that
- 34:30Speaker 7: they were able to incorporate real Formula one events into
- 34:33Speaker 7: the movie in order to make it as accurate as
- 34:35Speaker 7: possible was great. But the thing that pissed me off
- 34:38Speaker 7: about it was everything interesting that could happen in Formula
- 34:41Speaker 7: one happened in that movie. Right, So now I don't
- 34:43Speaker 7: need to ever watch If One ever again be d
- 34:46Speaker 7: It was everything in that movie.
- 34:48Speaker 2: It was all of the dramas, but it was without
- 34:50Speaker 2: you caring. Yeah it is a blockbuster, but it's not.
- 34:54Speaker 2: And you're saying the action keysy, it's an action movie, yes,
- 34:56Speaker 2: but it's not a good action movie. If this is
- 34:59Speaker 2: going to be an nominated, then the Last Boy Scout
- 35:02Speaker 2: should have been nominated. Die Hard should have been nominated. Well,
- 35:05Speaker 2: die Hard should have been nominated. See what I'm saying.
- 35:07Speaker 6: Yes, just on the technical side of things. What was
- 35:10Speaker 6: that one war.
- 35:13Speaker 3: They did some pretty cool stuff with the cameras on
- 35:15Speaker 3: that I recall you know, but it was also a great,
- 35:18Speaker 3: great movie.
- 35:21Speaker 4: Yeah, and your performance in that, Jase was magnificent.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Thank you, Yeah, I was, yeah, I was happy with it.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yeah you mean Sean Pin.
- 35:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:30Speaker 2: By the way, coming up next, Liz from the Baths
- 35:32Speaker 2: is coming.
- 35:33Speaker 6: Oh how good?
- 35:34Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodark.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Is indeed sound garden there on the Radio Darchy Big Show.
- 35:42Speaker 3: This glorious, beadful Wednesday afternoon, a very special treat. We've
- 35:48Speaker 3: got Liz from the Beths in the studio with us.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Get a Liz Hell's life.
- 35:54Speaker 8: It's me, That's I'm Liz. Nice to be here.
- 35:56Speaker 2: That was really good and natural.
- 35:58Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm a professional.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Credit.
- 36:01Speaker 8: I'm glad you've noticed.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Have you been enjoying this glorious days. Let's start off there.
- 36:06Speaker 2: A little bit of weather chat. Have you been doing
- 36:08Speaker 2: some with a chat lately?
- 36:09Speaker 8: I love whether chat?
- 36:12Speaker 6: Who doesn't?
- 36:12Speaker 8: Yeah, you're crazy if you don't.
- 36:14Speaker 2: We're going to start off for the universe. We'll start
- 36:16Speaker 2: with weather chat and then we'll ease our way into
- 36:18Speaker 2: sleep chat as well. That's two specialties on the show.
- 36:20Speaker 1: How are you?
- 36:21Speaker 6: How are you sleeping?
- 36:22Speaker 3: At the moment? Is everything good on that phone, or
- 36:24Speaker 3: you were nervous, sort of anxious sleeper like Mogi and I.
- 36:28Speaker 8: How could you sleep before such an interview as this.
- 36:32Speaker 3: You wouldn't be the first to be intimidated by being
- 36:34Speaker 3: on the big show.
- 36:35Speaker 2: That's true.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Good Liz Chris here, what keasy? Great to have you
- 36:40Speaker 4: in studio. Obviously we're here to chatting about the fact
- 36:42Speaker 4: that you guys about to go on a Messa tour
- 36:43Speaker 4: of all back home? Man, how does that feel?
- 36:46Speaker 8: It feels very good. We've played a lot of shows
- 36:48Speaker 8: elsewhere and I felt very It felt kind of shameful
- 36:51Speaker 8: to not have announced a new Zealand show for.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Over a long Yeah. While you were gone, everyone's been
- 36:56Speaker 2: talking about you behind your bet. Yeah, and the fact
- 36:59Speaker 2: that you haven't heard it too.
- 37:00Speaker 8: We're here now, yeah, you know the rumors come come back.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Well, now you're back, so people will be happy about
- 37:05Speaker 2: what people were.
- 37:06Speaker 3: Saying to me, Magie. This has changed, man, since the
- 37:09Speaker 3: bets have become massive and you, guys, would you has
- 37:15Speaker 3: has your success been greater than you anticipated?
- 37:20Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 37:21Speaker 3: Yes, because now I'm being serious, you guys are pretty huge.
- 37:25Speaker 8: We're pretty Yeah, you're extremely rich to get into any
- 37:34Speaker 8: rock but you know when we first started, we were like,
- 37:37Speaker 8: we would like to play the Wami Bar in fifty
- 37:39Speaker 8: countries and then we will have achieved the dream. And
- 37:43Speaker 8: we've we've ticked We ticked that off a little while ago,
- 37:45Speaker 8: so we've had to make some new goals.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Yeah, well what are those goals for the bit from
- 37:49Speaker 4: the Beths?
- 37:49Speaker 2: What are they?
- 37:50Speaker 8: We keep?
- 37:51Speaker 6: We keep?
- 37:52Speaker 8: Do we keep? We keep meeting them, which is frustrating,
- 37:55Speaker 8: as you can imagine. You had the big show. Yeah,
- 37:58Speaker 8: I don't know. We we played We did a it's
- 38:01Speaker 8: called a late night show recently, which is a big tick.
- 38:04Speaker 8: Get Jimmy Kimmel.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Oh how good.
- 38:06Speaker 8: It was fun see the behind the scenes of how
- 38:09Speaker 8: they make a television show.
- 38:11Speaker 4: Because getting on those late night shows for years has
- 38:13Speaker 4: always been a big deal. Of course, Litterman was always
- 38:16Speaker 4: the one. You know, you wanted to get it on
- 38:17Speaker 4: Letterman back in the day.
- 38:18Speaker 8: Oh my god, I was so sad when he returned.
- 38:20Speaker 4: I was like, now I'll be on little Jimmy Kimmel
- 38:23Speaker 4: is probably the next best thing, and so many like
- 38:25Speaker 4: iconic performances like the Food Fighter is. One of their
- 38:27Speaker 4: first ever big performances was on Letterman back in the
- 38:29Speaker 4: nineties and things like that. So getting on Jimmy for
- 38:32Speaker 4: the Best, How was that for you guys?
- 38:33Speaker 8: It feels it was.
- 38:34Speaker 3: It was.
- 38:35Speaker 8: It was a good get and it was but it
- 38:36Speaker 8: was crazy though. We like we we booked it and
- 38:38Speaker 8: then a week after we had like just confirmed it.
- 38:41Speaker 8: A week after that, you got taken off the air
- 38:44Speaker 8: and we were like, and then he got back on
- 38:48Speaker 8: the air, so we re rebooked it.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Think and did they get in did they reach out
- 38:52Speaker 4: to you or are you submitting applications to get on there?
- 38:54Speaker 8: I think it's both. We have we have we have
- 38:55Speaker 8: a team now, is you know, furiously emailing and getting
- 38:59Speaker 8: on the on the phone on the blower whoever's in charge.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Yes, I remember in terms of let them and you know,
- 39:04Speaker 3: do you know the band Future Islands, good band, good band?
- 39:08Speaker 3: They had an extraordinary because their lead singer I can't
- 39:11Speaker 3: remember his name, as just the ultimate front man and
- 39:14Speaker 3: they just went batshit crazy and I remember it just
- 39:18Speaker 3: erupted everywhere. I'd probably launched them. Have you noticed a
- 39:22Speaker 3: significant sort of change and people listening to you since
- 39:25Speaker 3: that the Jimmy Kimmeltan.
- 39:27Speaker 8: All of these things. It's like a little, a little
- 39:29Speaker 8: bump like everything that you do. But yeah, I remember
- 39:33Speaker 8: I remember firstly watching I think I feel like Liam
- 39:36Speaker 8: Finn was on.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Yeah, like wow, that's right.
- 39:41Speaker 4: Concords were on there and that blew my mind. Yeah,
- 39:43Speaker 4: and oh my goodness. And you guys have tacked that
- 39:45Speaker 4: off now, I mean, like, what is there left for
- 39:47Speaker 4: you guys? Or do you just shut it down now
- 39:48Speaker 4: that you're at the top.
- 39:49Speaker 8: Yeah, I think we were retiring. This is announcing.
- 39:53Speaker 3: Well, you don't retire as a band, you break up
- 39:57Speaker 3: as a band.
- 39:58Speaker 6: So there needs to be.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Some sort of weird tension going on, or someone's heading
- 40:05Speaker 3: the booze too hard or smashing into the drugs type thing,
- 40:09Speaker 3: rather than just going, oh, we've achieved even them, We're
- 40:12Speaker 3: just going to shut it down now.
- 40:14Speaker 2: You don't want to do if she had and just
- 40:16Speaker 2: sort of call it quits because you're over it. You know,
- 40:18Speaker 2: you need to have a horrendous argument publicly.
- 40:22Speaker 8: Yeah, but if you do she had, you get to
- 40:23Speaker 8: have a really big I went to the home Brow
- 40:27Speaker 8: the Homebrew note that they that they did, Oh my gosh,
- 40:30Speaker 8: that was great.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Or you could do what Kess do
- 40:32Speaker 2: and do their final tour ever.
- 40:36Speaker 8: Years and then you yeahs open the window to do
- 40:40Speaker 8: another one, do another lust tour over.
- 40:42Speaker 4: We've got Liz here from the Best, bloody exciting. We're
- 40:45Speaker 4: going to go to a tune of yours now, this
- 40:47Speaker 4: one is Metal from the Mess. What can you tell
- 40:50Speaker 4: us about this tune before we do play it for
- 40:51Speaker 4: the listeners out there.
- 40:53Speaker 8: It's us kind of letting ourselves go a full jangle,
- 40:55Speaker 8: which is something we've kind of dabbled with, but it
- 40:58Speaker 8: was really fun to go full jangle, go full.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Jangle, turn it out, turn it up.
- 41:05Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Darky.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Chem Fellers, geez hey. And coincidentally, we've got Liz from
- 41:16Speaker 3: the Best with us and they're about to do a
- 41:18Speaker 3: tour of New Zealand and we were talking in the
- 41:20Speaker 3: break there. Listen, you are pumped, you're fired up for it.
- 41:23Speaker 8: I'm fired up to play.
- 41:24Speaker 4: And yes, there are a whole heap of shows going
- 41:29Speaker 4: on two in Wellington. That's where it starts, thirteenth and
- 41:31Speaker 4: fourtength of March at Miao Nui. They got to Dunedin
- 41:34Speaker 4: to the glen Roy Auditorium, christ Church at James hay
- 41:37Speaker 4: On Sunday the twenty second of March and then Nelson
- 41:40Speaker 4: as well, and you're playing up in Auckland as well.
- 41:43Speaker 6: Is it correct?
- 41:44Speaker 8: Yeah? Two shows at the power Station Boom.
- 41:46Speaker 3: But I believe is it is it sold out? I've
- 41:48Speaker 3: heard well one of them, so you gotta get.
- 41:50Speaker 6: In that quick, smart.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Yeah, just on that with the touring around there, Now
- 41:54Speaker 2: that you're huge rock and roll stars, what are you
- 41:56Speaker 2: traveling around? And have you got a sick van or
- 41:59Speaker 2: you're in a sick bus? What do you take a plane?
- 42:02Speaker 8: In New Zealand where I think we'll be, We'll be
- 42:05Speaker 8: taking a sick plane. Unfortunately, I wish we had a
- 42:08Speaker 8: cool van, but it's it's just quite a long way.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:12Speaker 4: Picture a band like the Bess driving around and sort
- 42:14Speaker 4: of like the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo, but like
- 42:17Speaker 4: that like a retro van. It's cutted out, it's got
- 42:19Speaker 4: your riding on the side, and it's got like the
- 42:21Speaker 4: couches in the back and stuff.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm thinking more. I've got more of a picture
- 42:25Speaker 3: of like a massive bus, you know, you know that's
- 42:29Speaker 3: got all sorts of plants and stuff in it, and
- 42:32Speaker 3: bongs and all that sort of stuff.
- 42:34Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 42:36Speaker 8: We travel in a bus in the in the States
- 42:39Speaker 8: because there you do just drive everywhere. Buses they are
- 42:43Speaker 8: that we're usually when your breakdown once a yeah.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Right, and as a driver also a mechanic, they have.
- 42:49Speaker 8: To maintain the bus. And it's it's strange, it's it's
- 42:52Speaker 8: a strange career to have. Is like driving the bus.
- 42:54Speaker 8: You drive through the night and the band and all
- 42:56Speaker 8: the crew on the bus sleep through the night. And
- 42:58Speaker 8: it's a strange lifestyle and its strange people in.
- 43:01Speaker 4: The States too, it's so far between every destination right
- 43:05Speaker 4: New Zealand, it's a few hours to get from Auckland
- 43:07Speaker 4: down to like Todng or Wellington or wherever you're going.
- 43:10Speaker 4: I see here as well that you're about to head
- 43:12Speaker 4: over to Japan and play. Yeah, so yeah, you're playing
- 43:16Speaker 4: in Tokyo. Then you're going to Ausica as well, which
- 43:18Speaker 4: is very exciting.
- 43:20Speaker 7: You.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Well, what's it like playing to an audience and have
- 43:22Speaker 4: you experienced it with it maybe English as their second language.
- 43:25Speaker 8: Well, it's I mean you say that, but we've played
- 43:28Speaker 8: a lot of places, like we've played in Europe and
- 43:30Speaker 8: Hong Kong stuff. I guess a lot of people speak English,
- 43:33Speaker 8: and particularly if they're listen to our music, they probably
- 43:35Speaker 8: have at least a passing and standing, which is which
- 43:37Speaker 8: is very nice. Most a lot of people are bilingual trilingual.
- 43:41Speaker 4: Yeah, and also I suppose it's it's more about the music, right,
- 43:43Speaker 4: So if it sounds good, then that's what matters.
- 43:45Speaker 2: But also you must get.
- 43:46Speaker 3: Very universal language music.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Man, did you invent that's true?
- 43:53Speaker 8: That's beautiful.
- 43:55Speaker 4: I'm making that tattooed just quickly, just before you jumped
- 43:59Speaker 4: in there. Do you ever get surprised when you do
- 44:02Speaker 4: go to a country like, for example, Japan you've not
- 44:04Speaker 4: played there yet, but especially if English isn't the first language,
- 44:07Speaker 4: and then you find these all these people around the
- 44:09Speaker 4: world listening in places that you're just like, what the heck?
- 44:11Speaker 4: How have we got fans here?
- 44:13Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 44:13Speaker 8: It's it's pretty it's pretty great, it's beautiful. It does
- 44:16Speaker 8: make me regret choosing the Beths as a name. It's
- 44:19Speaker 8: maybe the hardest couple of words to pronounce in almost
- 44:23Speaker 8: every other language. You go to France and they're like
- 44:29Speaker 8: Germany and they're like a thebet like, it's not it's
- 44:32Speaker 8: not I apologize the world.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Well, in relation to Kisi's question, which I was gonna
- 44:38Speaker 3: ask presumably, though, when you're touring around the world and stuff,
- 44:41Speaker 3: you look at places and go, hey, have we got
- 44:43Speaker 3: a following there?
- 44:44Speaker 8: Is it?
- 44:44Speaker 3: Is it worth us actually going? You must crunch the numbers,
- 44:47Speaker 3: as they say.
- 44:49Speaker 8: Yeah, there's just data driven. It's very That's what we're
- 44:52Speaker 8: all about as a band is data. And yeah, you
- 44:56Speaker 8: want to go where people want you to go. But
- 44:59Speaker 8: we have going to Brazil here, which is what everybody's
- 45:01Speaker 8: always saying, is key to Brazil. But I'd love to
- 45:03Speaker 8: go there.
- 45:04Speaker 2: See bloody exciting stuff.
- 45:07Speaker 4: Never, Yeah I would.
- 45:11Speaker 8: I'm trying to say I would never say that without
- 45:13Speaker 8: saying never, but I can't.
- 45:14Speaker 4: Ye true if you are interested in hitting along to
- 45:17Speaker 4: see any of those shows. Once again, the best are
- 45:19Speaker 4: performing in Dunedin, christ Church, Nelson, Wellington and Auckland as well,
- 45:23Speaker 4: which is bloody exciting.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Where's the best place to go?
- 45:25Speaker 4: Because the best dot com Ford Slash Tour has literally
- 45:28Speaker 4: everything you guys are doing. Is that probably the best

- 46:21Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show week days from four on radio.
- 46:26Speaker 3: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 46:30Speaker 3: You know, the one thing that strikes me about Liz
- 46:34Speaker 3: from the Best, and I think a part of their
- 46:37Speaker 3: success is they come across as very humble, down to
- 46:41Speaker 3: earth kind of people, super chill, super chill, and I
- 46:44Speaker 3: think people really relate to that. I looked, I was
- 46:46Speaker 3: watching her throughout that interview, and she reminded me of
- 46:48Speaker 3: my daughters around that whole generation, and they're all pretty
- 46:53Speaker 3: chill and cool.
- 46:54Speaker 6: And laid back.
- 46:55Speaker 3: I think that's a part of their success. Feel Sure
- 46:58Speaker 3: and they make great music.
- 47:00Speaker 4: Yeah, a lot of people in their twenties, because I'm
- 47:02Speaker 4: in my thirties now, so I'm I know a few
- 47:05Speaker 4: songs from the bits. But the people in their twenties
- 47:07Speaker 4: freak out when they hear that we're interviewing someone from
- 47:09Speaker 4: the Beth.
- 47:09Speaker 3: So you know, Yes, my daughters were like, yeah, are
- 47:11Speaker 3: you seeing me? Totally? Yeah, Hey, no, listen coming up
- 47:16Speaker 3: after six o'clock. A bit of stoic philosophy for all
- 47:18Speaker 3: those people, you know, struggling out.
- 47:20Speaker 6: In the world.
- 47:22Speaker 3: Yeah, just a bit of imparting, a bit of wisdom.
- 47:26Speaker 2: I think I'm going forward to this.
- 47:28Speaker 6: Also the result of the Big.
- 47:29Speaker 4: Poll Yes and meet petting up sixty nine giving out
- 47:32Speaker 4: some other advice helping everyone.

- 47:40Speaker 1: tune in week days and four on Radio hod Ikey.

- 47:47Speaker 4: Sure is Jay summing good times and good food Dinad

- 47:55Speaker 4: is my winning anniversary of their Feelers are going out

- 48:00Speaker 2: It's the one brother. So going out for a meal tonight?
- 48:04Speaker 6: Yea yeah, good start?
- 48:05Speaker 2: What present? Sorry? What present did you get? Your misses? There?
- 48:10Speaker 2: Did you get a present? So it's your anniversary today.
- 48:12Speaker 2: I heard people are talking out in the office and
- 48:15Speaker 2: I heard it was your wedding anniversary.
- 48:17Speaker 4: I just told you, no, we don't do anniversary gifts.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Oh it's interesting.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well certainly from my wife's perspective. But is
- 48:26Speaker 3: it definitely a thing?
- 48:29Speaker 2: Yeah, not only is it a thing, but there there's
- 48:33Speaker 2: their themed for every year, right, So I think the
- 48:36Speaker 2: first year is paper paper. Yes, I'm pretty sure of that.
- 48:41Speaker 2: So I write like a poem on the paper for
- 48:43Speaker 2: the first year. That would be one way of doing it. Actually,
- 48:45Speaker 2: I'm just having to look at it. Their here, kyzy. Traditionally,
- 48:48Speaker 2: your third wedding anniversary gift is leather.
- 48:53Speaker 6: Leather. Oh perfect, Magie.
- 48:56Speaker 4: Maggie's new leather sandals. What do you want me to
- 48:58Speaker 4: do with those?
- 48:59Speaker 2: Give those to my wife, to your wife or some
- 49:01Speaker 2: sort of some sort of leather gift. You probably got
- 49:04Speaker 2: something like out there. What about like a leather like
- 49:08Speaker 2: nine tails can nine tails?
- 49:10Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 49:11Speaker 9: I was going to say, like a yeah, like a
- 49:12Speaker 9: leather outfit, like seen a Worrior princess thing.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I get that for her leather, the leather symbolizers,
- 49:23Speaker 2: I should say durability, strength and flexibility.
- 49:27Speaker 4: Hey, hey, hey babe, have you advised I got you
- 49:36Speaker 4: a saddle? Kidd gidding out? Yeah, I won't flag the gift.
- 49:43Speaker 4: Ye're not her face, she read.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Said.
- 49:47Speaker 4: Also, do you how much saddles are? They're really expensive.
- 49:50Speaker 4: You'll be able to pick one out, man, Yeah, something
- 49:53Speaker 4: like that, a half priced one.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Hey. Do you like the Smashing Pumpkins.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Rocky Big Show week days from four on Radio HODAK.
- 50:03Speaker 3: You's there on the Radio hod Ache Big Show. This
- 50:06Speaker 3: beautiful Wednesday evening.
- 50:07Speaker 4: Hey, fellas, This Friday, seven thirty pm, the Breakers are
- 50:10Speaker 4: taking on Melbourne United. It is a home game, so
- 50:13Speaker 4: it's going to be at Spark Arena. It's also Tom
- 50:15Speaker 4: Abercrombie's Jersey retirement game. Yes, if you'd like to win
- 50:19Speaker 4: a spot for you and three mates courtside for that
- 50:21Speaker 4: on the backbone bench, text the word bench to three
- 50:23Speaker 4: four eight three and you get free food and beverages
- 50:26Speaker 4: and the best seats in the house.
- 50:27Speaker 2: How good, Pretty damn good?
- 50:28Speaker 3: Now, Fellers, I've went a little deck out the front
- 50:32Speaker 3: of my house.
- 50:33Speaker 4: What a little deck, Oh, Dick?
- 50:35Speaker 6: Can I sit up there?
- 50:36Speaker 3: And I look at the vegetation and stuff and on
- 50:39Speaker 3: one of the side tables that's been sitting there for about,
- 50:42Speaker 3: without a joke, three years as a stoic philosophy book, right,
- 50:47Speaker 3: And I read.
- 50:47Speaker 6: It about three years.
- 50:48Speaker 8: Oh.
- 50:48Speaker 3: I started reading it about three years ago, and then
- 50:51Speaker 3: I stopped reading it.
- 50:52Speaker 6: And I don't know why.
- 50:53Speaker 3: I don't know, because I was actually enjoying it. And
- 50:55Speaker 3: there's sayings, you know, for each and every day, right,
- 50:58Speaker 3: and you've three sixty five. There's three hundred and sixty
- 51:01Speaker 3: five of them.
- 51:02Speaker 2: I love that. And a stoic Who are the stoics? Stoics?
- 51:05Speaker 3: Who are the Epictitis Aurelius Schwartzenegger. Hang on, just listen
- 51:13Speaker 3: a Roman Times?
- 51:15Speaker 4: Right, okay, so they are famous people from Roman times? Yes, well, okay, philosophers.
- 51:19Speaker 4: Philosophers are not always philosophers.
- 51:21Speaker 6: They were you know, rulers, a lot of them.
- 51:24Speaker 3: Right.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Well, adult Swartznig is an actor, and I thought.
- 51:26Speaker 3: It might be a good thing actually to bring onto
- 51:28Speaker 3: the show every now and then a bit of sort
- 51:31Speaker 3: of stoicism stoicism philosophy that might help some people. The
- 51:36Speaker 3: one I've got today is this the.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Stoic reigan of the Day.
- 51:43Speaker 6: With Hoidy j And it's from I.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Did you hit wait?
- 51:52Speaker 4: Sorry Ips, because Mogie drives a teita epic titis tis right?
- 51:59Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, all right?
- 52:01Speaker 6: I mean, if we're going to do this, can we
- 52:02Speaker 6: grow up with it? Let's just said, epic, this is
- 52:05Speaker 6: a serious business, keys, is it? Yes?
- 52:10Speaker 3: And his saying was, it's not things that disturb us,
- 52:15Speaker 3: it's our interpretation of them. Case in point, for example,
- 52:22Speaker 3: Mogi's new leather sandals. Right, because the leather sandals in
- 52:28Speaker 3: and of themselves are neither good nor bad. They are
- 52:33Speaker 3: neither terrible nor fantastic. But what makes them those things
- 52:40Speaker 3: is what I perceive them to be or how I
- 52:42Speaker 3: interpret them.
- 52:43Speaker 8: Right.
- 52:44Speaker 3: For example, the sandals by themselves are nothing, They're unobjectionable,
- 52:49Speaker 3: but because I put my own interpretation of right, they
- 52:53Speaker 3: are a horror show.
- 52:55Speaker 6: That's how I then feel.
- 52:58Speaker 3: About something that doesn't have any of those qualities. It's
- 53:01Speaker 3: what I'm putting on his new leather sandals.
- 53:04Speaker 2: It's what you were bringing what I'm doing the relationship
- 53:07Speaker 2: the sandals bring nothing to the relationship. They only exist
- 53:11Speaker 2: exactly right.
- 53:13Speaker 4: So what about, for example, can you zoom out and say, like,
- 53:16Speaker 4: something that's definitely bad, like a car crash, sure is
- 53:20Speaker 4: neither good nor bad. It's about how I perceive it.
- 53:24Speaker 4: So I know it's pretty bad.
- 53:26Speaker 6: Well, yes it's bad, but especially.
- 53:29Speaker 9: If it's an epictetter that's involved. But your shirt, Keysy, Okay,
- 53:37Speaker 9: here we go. Yeah again, it's neither good nor bad.
- 53:41Speaker 3: Can be the saying again, it's not things that disturb us,
- 53:46Speaker 3: it's our interpretation.
- 53:47Speaker 2: Of them, that's right. So Keysy's example of a car
- 53:50Speaker 2: crash that is not a thing or an item. There
- 53:52Speaker 2: is an event, Okay, yes.
- 53:55Speaker 3: And your shirt is a thing, for example, and it's
- 53:57Speaker 3: neither good nor bad. But for me, I look at
- 54:01Speaker 3: it and I go, Keysy's off the church, and that's
- 54:04Speaker 3: not either a good or bad thing.
- 54:06Speaker 6: Yeah, it's just but it's my perception of it.
- 54:09Speaker 3: But in and of itself, your shot is just a shit.
- 54:12Speaker 2: It's either good nor bad, all right.
- 54:14Speaker 3: So basically the lesson is it's what we our own
- 54:17Speaker 3: thoughts and what we bring to things that actually disturb us.
- 54:21Speaker 6: It's not the thing itself.
- 54:23Speaker 2: It's good to know trying not to be offended by things.
- 54:27Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 54:27Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, okay, The Hierarchy Big Show week days from
- 54:32Speaker 1: four on Radio Darkey.
- 54:33Speaker 3: Page against the Machine there on the radio Hoedarkey Big
- 54:37Speaker 3: Show this Wednesday evening.
- 54:39Speaker 2: Hey fellas, do you feel like going to a gig
- 54:41Speaker 2: giggity giggity giggity.
- 54:42Speaker 6: Yes I do, Yeah, yes, I do.

- 54:51Speaker 2: Ah Festival. He gets it, so he gets it. I'd
- 54:55Speaker 2: love to, but I don't get what gig you've got on?
- 54:57Speaker 2: Off of your keys. This one's going to be the
- 54:59Speaker 2: best gig on that day.
- 55:00Speaker 9: Now.
- 55:00Speaker 4: Well, Morgie, it's funny you say that because I was
- 55:02Speaker 4: actually talking about that. Yeah, the Manuca Festival. Jason, Oh
- 55:08Speaker 4: that sounds right up my you love it.
- 55:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 55:10Speaker 4: When I ever think whenever I think like live giant
- 55:13Speaker 4: festivals with music in a big park, I think hood
- 55:16Speaker 4: j Yeah, it's technical at the Auckland domain of domain.
- 55:23Speaker 4: Yeah's technically. Why what's wrong with that?
- 55:24Speaker 2: It's beautiful there?
- 55:25Speaker 3: I mean, how big are we talking here? There's going
- 55:27Speaker 3: to be heaps of people. What do you think I'll
- 55:29Speaker 3: be able to find a park?
- 55:31Speaker 4: No, I don't park.
- 55:33Speaker 3: Well, actually I'll be in the CBD then, so I
- 55:35Speaker 3: could just.
- 55:35Speaker 4: Walk look, yeah, genuinely you could.
- 55:38Speaker 6: Yes, you go.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Otherwise I'd suggest texting there or catching a train or.

- 55:46Speaker 2: Just on your account with your money.
- 55:48Speaker 6: I've only got to work one.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Have you only got to work with such a lie? Such?

- 55:57Speaker 4: as well as our v I B guest. Now do
- 55:59Speaker 4: you can you guess what the bee stands for? I mean,
- 56:02Speaker 4: if I had to guess, I would say that's backbone.
- 56:09Speaker 6: It's just the one that you went to last year?
- 56:12Speaker 3: Used sorry? Was that the one you went too with
- 56:15Speaker 3: PAGs last time? And you got really yeah, piece of content.
- 56:20Speaker 3: That's a right, Actually a great time at the old
- 56:22Speaker 3: Symphony there. That's the one where I was in VIP
- 56:24Speaker 3: drinking lots of free drinks and then the security guard
- 56:26Speaker 3: came and was like can I see your pass? And
- 56:28Speaker 3: then looked at it was like, ah, you're not supposed
- 56:29Speaker 3: to be in here, and I almost got kicked out,
- 56:31Speaker 3: but then it was a misunderstanding.
- 56:32Speaker 2: Yeah, then I have a VIP section. Then nah, I
- 56:37Speaker 2: was in the VIP and I was supposed to be
- 56:38Speaker 2: in the.
- 56:40Speaker 6: Sense.

- 58:39Speaker 2: I was the art director. I was the art director,
- 58:43Speaker 2: and I don't think that the position I took for
- 58:46Speaker 2: the photo painted either myself or my sandals or Hoidy J.
- 58:51Speaker 3: In the best light I am I in it am
- 58:54Speaker 3: I I was going to say sixty forty years. Actually matter,
- 58:58Speaker 3: Oh were you yes, sixty forty years.
- 59:00Speaker 2: I'll go the other way.
- 59:01Speaker 4: I'll go the opposite sixty forty No, the answer is
- 59:04Speaker 4: sixty five percent.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Say no, oh cool, thirty years. People are backbones totally.
- 59:11Speaker 4: DJ on Instagram says that you should pair it with
- 59:14Speaker 4: your wife sonnies.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Yes, agreed, agreed.
- 59:17Speaker 4: Then for reference one time, OGGI twice was wife's Sonny's
- 59:22Speaker 4: without realizing for about five hours and they were like
- 59:25Speaker 4: really pointy females.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Oh that was female, and then you took them off.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Was like, hang on. I was like, what there you go?

- 59:49Speaker 2: Do you know you don't want to go home and
