- 0:00Speaker 1: I was running on schedule the other day and then
- 0:02Speaker 1: I spilt my coffee twice, Like, how do you do that?
- 0:05Speaker 1: How do you spill your coffee twice? I know how.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I was wearing a hoodie that was not zipped up
- 0:10Speaker 1: and it was heavy, and it hit my coffee cup
- 0:14Speaker 1: like a flag right like waving in the wind, knocked
- 0:16Speaker 1: it over twice. It happens, and I ye, but I
- 0:21Speaker 1: don't like it. I've seen you. It's going better. I
- 0:25Speaker 1: know it's my new look. Okay, so tiny, can we
- 0:30Speaker 1: talk about this outing that you had in Largemont Village
- 0:33Speaker 1: because I look at people posting food or like brunch,
- 0:40Speaker 1: like you know, good stuff in LA and especially if
- 0:42Speaker 1: it's something new or buzzworthy. And you saw this place
- 0:46Speaker 1: in Largemont Village, which is called Max and Helen's.
- 0:49Speaker 2: It's been all over my feed. Like when I tell
- 0:52Speaker 2: you every single person in my feed's going, I'm seeing
- 0:55Speaker 2: like food bloggers going and posting their reviews. Selena Gomez
- 0:58Speaker 2: went after the Golden Globes and had breakfast for dinner,
- 1:01Speaker 2: Like this place is like all the rage and I've
- 1:04Speaker 2: been begging.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Comfort food, dining food, comfort food, but like really good.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Yeah, pancakes, waffles, eggs hot the hot chocolate is what
- 1:13Speaker 2: I really want to try. And so Robbie and I went,
- 1:17Speaker 2: I've been like convincing him. I'm like, please, I really
- 1:19Speaker 2: really want to try this place. Please come with me,
- 1:20Speaker 2: Please come with me. So we got like a weird
- 1:22Speaker 2: we go early, we go like a weird time. I
- 1:26Speaker 2: think it was like nine on a Tuesday. It was
- 1:28Speaker 2: that that week between Christmas and New Year's. We walk up.
- 1:32Speaker 2: They don't take reservations, so and there's always a line,
- 1:35Speaker 2: so we were expecting to wait. We walk up to
- 1:37Speaker 2: the hostesses and we're like, how long is the wait?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Eight hours? Come on, that's not real, it's Robbie even
- 1:50Speaker 1: come back.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yes, you can put your number and you have to
- 1:52Speaker 2: stay kind of like around. You're not like wait in
- 1:54Speaker 2: the line out there around.
- 1:56Speaker 1: You could literally get two more meals before you know,
- 2:00Speaker 1: to work, finish a day and go back.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Robbie was like, at a principle, he goes, I'm never
- 2:05Speaker 2: coming back. He was so upset, and I was like,
- 2:07Speaker 2: I really want to try this on chocolate. I really
- 2:09Speaker 2: want to get in there. I will come back and
- 2:12Speaker 2: have breakfast or dinner, Like please give and put our
- 2:14Speaker 2: name down.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Did you know how does somebody say eight hours with
- 2:20Speaker 1: a straight face, just tell.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Us you're full and come back tomorrow, like you know
- 2:25Speaker 2: what I mean?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Like that's and how did she know it's eight hours?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Like it could be six or not. How many people
- 2:31Speaker 1: have and those many people came and put those names
- 2:34Speaker 1: their names down that morning.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Yeah, And so apparently there were people that were standing
- 2:38Speaker 2: outside and they were like, we got here two hours
- 2:40Speaker 2: before they opened, and we're going to be in in
- 2:42Speaker 2: like an hour and a half. So they were only like,
- 2:44Speaker 2: you did not go. We did not go. And I'm
- 2:47Speaker 2: still really wanting to try with chocolate and the pancakes,
- 2:52Speaker 2: go shopping and then come back here.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Why don't you send it here? Tony? You go now
- 2:56Speaker 1: put your name in and then the table when you
- 3:00Speaker 1: could literally drive to Redlands and back to get hot chocolate,
- 3:04Speaker 1: you could watch all of Stranger Things season five.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I think if you go at a certain time, the
- 3:09Speaker 2: weight could be like two hours or like an hour
- 3:11Speaker 2: and a half. Maybe that's so much.
- 3:12Speaker 1: You said you went around the holidays.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I feel like that's yeah.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Maybe giving tourists there like no no restaurant in the
- 3:20Speaker 1: history of restaurants. Has ever told anybody there's an eight
- 3:23Speaker 1: or nine. I don't know.
- 3:24Speaker 2: It makes me want to go there even more.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'm down.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I'm down.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I want to see what all the hype's about for
- 3:29Speaker 1: hot chocolate and pancakes past. But it does sound great
- 3:32Speaker 1: and the pictures look good. Let me know if it's
- 3:35Speaker 1: worth it.
