Rory Neill capped off a wire-to-wire charge with a clutch 69 to win his first men’s amateur title at St. Boniface Golf Club, finishing five-under and two strokes ahead of runner-up Drew Jones. Nervous at the start but laser-focused, Neill turned things up with an eagle from the rough on the 10th and a birdie on 13, while Jones battled back with two eagles of his own. Despite the course favoring power hitters, Neill stuck to his game plan, and his consistency paid off.
