- 0:00Speaker 1: It's Dirty Little Secret with Billy the Kid in the
- 0:02Speaker 1: Morning on Mix 102.9. Brought to you by Mint Dentistry.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Right now, Dirty Little Secret, we got that. You want
- 0:09Speaker 2: to confess.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 0:11Speaker 4: So I already know, I'm just going to come out
- 0:14Speaker 4: the gate. People are going to think I'm crazy about this.
- 0:16Speaker 4: And I mean, honestly, like six months ago, I would
- 0:19Speaker 4: have thought I was insane too. But I haven't really
- 0:22Speaker 4: told anybody about this because I'm afraid that nobody's going
- 0:25Speaker 4: to believe me. But my family is like super religious
- 0:29Speaker 4: and I know they wouldn't approve because they're just going
- 0:31Speaker 4: to think this is like witchcraft or whatever. But so
- 0:36Speaker 4: my grandmother passed away earlier this year and my grandma
- 0:40Speaker 4: and I were really, really close. Like I took it
- 0:42Speaker 4: really hard. And so a couple of months ago, I
- 0:46Speaker 4: was hanging out with some buddies of mine and somebody
- 0:48Speaker 4: brought up this Ouija board thing and we were kind
- 0:50Speaker 4: of like goofing around with it or whatever. And so like,
- 0:53Speaker 4: I've never really like believed in that stuff. It just
- 0:56Speaker 4: seems like a mystical board game or whatever. But like,
- 0:59Speaker 4: I thought people were just kind of moving the piece
- 1:02Speaker 4: around to wherever they wanted it to go.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05Speaker 1: We were.
- 1:05Speaker 3: I know. I was going to say. I think when
- 1:09Speaker 3: I did.
- 1:09Speaker 2: It back in the day, I don't know what I
- 1:12Speaker 2: was doing, but I, it wasn't working.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Yeah, whoever had two fingers on it, yeah.
- 1:16Speaker 3: They were cheating.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Okay, so anyway, so you got the Ouija board out.
- 1:19Speaker 4: And so, like, we started messing around with it. And
- 1:22Speaker 4: I was like, I decided to, you know, give it
- 1:26Speaker 4: a shot. And I was like, you know what? I'm
- 1:28Speaker 4: going to joke around. I'm like, is my grandma there? And, dude,
- 1:32Speaker 4: I swear to you, like, it started, like, spelling out
- 1:35Speaker 4: her name. And I was like, okay, that's weird, but
- 1:37Speaker 4: that's not, like, super crazy.
- 1:39Speaker 3: That's pretty crazy.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:41Speaker 3: No, it is. Spelling her name out.
- 1:43Speaker 2: So you asked if your grandma was there to the
- 1:46Speaker 2: Ouija board, and it spelled out her name.
- 1:49Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I did this at so many slumber parties.
- 1:52Speaker 3: I just had to laugh. I know. I've never, I
- 1:55Speaker 3: haven't done in a while. We need to do it. No,
- 1:57Speaker 3: I don't play with that stuff. Anyway. So it's, this
- 2:00Speaker 3: is kind of, this is creepy. You, it spells out
- 2:02Speaker 3: your grandma's name. Then what?
- 2:03Speaker 4: Well, I mean, my friends knew her name, so I
- 2:05Speaker 4: didn't think that part was that great.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:07Speaker 4: So I was like, you know what? I'm going to,
- 2:09Speaker 4: I'm going to, I'm going to play around with this.
- 2:11Speaker 4: I'm going to see if it's going to say something
- 2:13Speaker 4: that nobody in this room could possibly know. So I said,
- 2:18Speaker 4: what's the nickname that she used to call me when
- 2:20Speaker 4: I was little? And dude, it's spelled pickles, which is
- 2:25Speaker 4: what she used to call Billy. I almost threw up.
- 2:27Speaker 4: That was the nickname she had for me when I
- 2:29Speaker 4: was a kid.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Really?
- 2:32Speaker 3: Are you sure?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Does your friends know that though?
- 2:35Speaker 4: No, nobody knows that.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Now here's, I'm not saying you're lying.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Here's my only thing is like, sometimes I think when
- 2:41Speaker 2: you're doing the Ouija board, you are almost subconsciously going
- 2:45Speaker 2: to the answer.
- 2:45Speaker 3: That you want.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Even if you don't think you're moving your fingers, I
- 2:48Speaker 2: think there's some kind of psychological, you know, science to it.
- 2:52Speaker 4: I mean, you say that, but like my hand wasn't
- 2:54Speaker 4: the only one on it, you know? So like they
- 2:56Speaker 4: would have felt like me tugging at it a little.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Okay, so that is weird.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Dude, dude, things got weirder. Things got way weirder. So, like,
- 3:03Speaker 4: ever since that night, things just start happening in my house. Like,
- 3:07Speaker 4: I swear, like, someone will be, like, walking around upstairs
- 3:10Speaker 4: when nobody's home. Like, three different times now, like, out
- 3:14Speaker 4: of nowhere, I would smell, like, my grandmother's perfume, like, really,
- 3:18Speaker 4: really strong.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Oh, no way. Like, really strong.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Like, somebody's, like, standing right next to me and just
- 3:24Speaker 4: sprayed it.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Why do these ghosts always want to mess with our scent?
- 3:29Speaker 1: Because it triggers, like, memories.
- 3:31Speaker 4: But, like, last week is when it really freaked me out.
- 3:34Speaker 4: So I woke up at, like, 3 o'clock in the morning,
- 3:36Speaker 4: and I heard somebody, like, whisper my name. And I
- 3:39Speaker 4: was like, I sat up, and I'm, like, looking around, and, like,
- 3:42Speaker 4: nobody's there. And I'm like, maybe I just dreamed this.
- 3:45Speaker 4: And so, like, I went back to sleep. And then
- 3:48Speaker 4: I heard a woman's voice say, good night, pickles. Like, dude.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Okay, hold on. Come on, dawg.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Like, I started getting, like, really emotional about it. But, like,
- 4:01Speaker 4: I haven't told my girlfriend. I haven't told my family.
- 4:04Speaker 4: I haven't told anybody about this because this sounds like,
- 4:07Speaker 4: you know, if I heard somebody tell me this, it
- 4:09Speaker 4: would sound ridiculous.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it sounds a little cuckoo.
- 4:11Speaker 4: This is one thing that's like really, really bugging me.
- 4:14Speaker 4: My grandma never calls me pickles when she was upset
- 4:17Speaker 4: with me when I was a kid. She only called
- 4:20Speaker 4: it to me when like she was happy. It was
- 4:21Speaker 4: never when she was angry.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Well, that's good.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Whatever whispered to me that night, it sounded mad. And
- 4:28Speaker 4: so now I'm wondering if like I actually contacted my
- 4:32Speaker 4: grandma that night or if like, you know, somebody else
- 4:35Speaker 4: just pretended to be her. Like, dude, it was.
- 4:39Speaker 3: OK, that just gave me the chills. I don't like that.
- 4:42Speaker 2: So you think that maybe if it's not your grandma,
- 4:45Speaker 2: you might have got another spirit or spirits pretending to
- 4:48Speaker 2: be your grandma.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Somebody else's grandma.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Do ghost catfish. I have no idea. Wow, that is
- 4:54Speaker 3: kind of creepy, though.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I get why you wouldn't want to tell anybody, like
- 4:58Speaker 2: your girlfriend and stuff, because it, no offense, sir, it
- 5:01Speaker 2: does kind of sound, I mean, I don't really believe
- 5:03Speaker 2: in that stuff.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Me neither.
- 5:04Speaker 1: No, I don't either.
- 5:05Speaker 3: You don't? No, I don't believe in that. I thought
- 5:07Speaker 3: Candace did.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Well, not the Ouija board, but other stuff. Yeah, I
- 5:10Speaker 1: believe like there are signs.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I do believe that.
- 5:13Speaker 2: So I believe that I just, and it is scary
- 5:15Speaker 2: to think that a mean spirit, like a meany pants
- 5:17Speaker 2: spirit might be.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Coming to get you.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Well, yeah, you don't want them angry.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I'm wishing you nothing but the best. I feel like
- 5:22Speaker 2: I should send you some sage or something.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Yeah, right.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Some sage or something. I don't know how to get
- 5:27Speaker 2: rid of a ghost. Like, how do you get rid
- 5:28Speaker 2: of a ghost if you needed to?
- 5:29Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 5:29Speaker 2: You got to call a preacher or something, do like
- 5:32Speaker 2: an exorcism or something on the house.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Ew, Etsy spell?
- 5:35Speaker 3: Yeah, there we go. Bless the house. Okay.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Light as a feather stiff as a board?
- 5:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Do it different. weird thing that we used to do
- 5:41Speaker 1: at slumber parties and maybe something else.
- 5:43Speaker 3: What did you used to do at slumber parties?
- 5:45Speaker 1: Light as a feather, stiff as a board. Where you
- 5:47Speaker 1: like made someone float.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Candice, are you serious?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Y'all didn't do that? Was that just like a girl
- 5:54Speaker 1: slumber party thing?
- 5:54Speaker 3: So what did you used to say?
- 5:55Speaker 1: Someone would lie on the floor and then everyone would
- 5:57Speaker 1: put like two fingers underneath and say, light as a feather,
- 5:59Speaker 1: stiff as a board. Light as a feather, stiff as
- 6:02Speaker 1: a board.
- 6:02Speaker 3: And they'd float. What the hell is going on in
- 6:05Speaker 3: my skin? Did anybody ever float?
- 6:08Speaker 1: All the time.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Okay, shut up. Sir, thank you so much.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I'm going to send you and Candice to the mental
- 6:15Speaker 2: hospital together.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I'll see you there, sir.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Good luck with everything, though, and I do appreciate your call. Yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 2: let us know if anything else happens.
- 6:23Speaker 3: I want to know more.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I will, man.
- 6:25Speaker 3: I appreciate it. Thank you. $ 1, 000 coming up.
