- 1:16Speaker 2: Here, what's up, Doc?
- 1:17Speaker 5: How we doing doing fantastic?
- 1:19Speaker 2: Uh? Are you craving shonies? After our conversation from earlier?
- 1:22Speaker 5: You know that is a good one.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:24Speaker 5: We used to have shones all the time.
- 1:25Speaker 2: So yeah, you run around. You run a great point
- 1:28Speaker 2: about was it a destined red lobster?
- 1:31Speaker 5: Yeah, they opened one.
- 1:31Speaker 6: It was in Fort Walton technically, but it's literally it
- 1:34Speaker 6: is literally maybe one hundred yards from the water. And
- 1:37Speaker 6: I was amazed they opened it when I was in
- 1:38Speaker 6: high school and it is still open.
- 1:39Speaker 5: I believe he like fresh fish.
- 1:43Speaker 2: The curR in a place where you can walk out
- 1:44Speaker 2: and grab the Lobster's not getting the fish from that water,
- 1:48Speaker 2: that's they're right next to. Yeah, that's getting trucked in. Yeah,
- 1:52Speaker 2: still there, you said.
- 1:53Speaker 5: Last I checked, it was I hadn't, you know. Not
- 1:55Speaker 5: not a place we frequent. But you go back this
- 1:58Speaker 5: guits are good. You are talking about fantastic.
- 2:01Speaker 6: But uh, that's that's the only reason you go. Yeah,
- 2:02Speaker 6: I'm not going to go home and say, hey.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Hey, baby know it sounds great tonight the shrimps camp
- 2:08Speaker 2: from Yeah, really well. I used to have the kid.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I used to love walking in the lobby dough and
- 2:14Speaker 2: seeing the tank of Yeah, that's always cool.
- 2:17Speaker 5: I still get excited. I see like you go to
- 2:18Speaker 5: that store. Yeahs very easy.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It's incredible.
- 2:23Speaker 4: All right, we got a couple of things to talk
- 2:26Speaker 4: about here with doc, I'll you want to.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Start, I start, we start. Uh.
- 2:31Speaker 4: I sent you something that Troy Aman, Hall of Fame quarterback.
- 2:35Speaker 4: One of the reasons he believes why people are getting injured,
- 2:38Speaker 4: certainly early in the season, is because they're not callous
- 2:41Speaker 4: during training camp anymore. Remember twenty eleven, matt Our new CBA. Yeah,
- 2:48Speaker 4: I think twenty eleven. So the new CBA two A
- 2:51Speaker 4: days went away in the NFL. When we were first
- 2:53Speaker 4: in the NFL our first three years, it was old
- 2:55Speaker 4: school two A days. It was two practices to day,
- 2:58Speaker 4: padded practices, get after it. And that went away because well,
- 3:01Speaker 4: the offensive lineman in the NFLPA positions didn't like to practice,
- 3:05Speaker 4: and so the owners were like, yeah, we'll keep that money.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Sure, we'll give you a day off of practice. Twist
- 3:11Speaker 2: our arm, okay.
- 3:12Speaker 4: So that that went away, and it's kind of gone
- 3:14Speaker 4: away in college football as well. Now I'm a meathead, doc,
- 3:17Speaker 4: you know that, and I am going to subscribe to
- 3:20Speaker 4: the Troy Aiightman take of we're not as calloused as
- 3:24Speaker 4: we used to be.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Where do you fallow something like that?
- 3:28Speaker 6: It's it's a hard thing to talk about because obviously,
- 3:30Speaker 6: I want to do what's right. From a medical side,
- 3:32Speaker 6: I want to be safe, but I also have that
- 3:35Speaker 6: meathead tendency. Likewise, played fullback was a guy that you know,
- 3:40Speaker 6: you know, you give me a brick wall, I'm gonna
- 3:41Speaker 6: run into it. Yeah, And and I do think there
- 3:44Speaker 6: might be some truth there. And where is that line?
- 3:46Speaker 6: I think we're still the jury is still out a
- 3:48Speaker 6: little bit. It definitely seems the soft tissue injuries went up.
- 3:51Speaker 6: We know they went up drastically in the COVID year.
- 3:54Speaker 6: And what happened in that year they didn't do as
- 3:56Speaker 6: much practicing preseason, they didn't do as much earlier, and
- 3:59Speaker 6: that's undeiyed well, the numbers that year went up. The
- 4:01Speaker 6: evidence is very heavy there.
- 4:03Speaker 5: So I think I think there's something to it.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we're not asking for the junction boys.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Right, yeah, then there there's definitely that line and and
- 4:10Speaker 6: and and right, oh yeah, and and I think I agree.
- 4:13Speaker 6: I mean, there there's a point when it's too much.
- 4:15Speaker 6: And I think you even see declining returns on performance
- 4:18Speaker 6: because you see some of these teams that practice so much,
- 4:19Speaker 6: by the end of ether they're slow, they're not you know,
- 4:21Speaker 6: there's the guys just broke down but on the other hand, yeah,
- 4:24Speaker 6: there's definitely an increase injuries early in the year.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Yeah, and too if you don't ever practice a situation
- 4:29Speaker 4: but you know you're gonna do it in a game,
- 4:31Speaker 4: like that's shocking to the body.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Well, you know, I feel like tackling early in the
- 4:35Speaker 6: year has gotten horrible. And maybe that's just me and
- 4:38Speaker 6: old school mentality, guy in the lawn, however you want
- 4:41Speaker 6: to say it, you know, But but I feel like
- 4:42Speaker 6: you see so many more mistackles early on, and maybe
- 4:44Speaker 6: that's wrong. Maybe again that's just I'm getting old and
- 4:47Speaker 6: that you know, everything's wrong now in the world.
- 4:48Speaker 5: I don't know, but but it does feel that way.
- 4:51Speaker 6: And again, if you're not tackling, you know, you can,
- 4:53Speaker 6: Tackling a dummy and tackling a guy are very different.
- 4:56Speaker 6: And and and so I do wonder, you know, from
- 4:59Speaker 6: the quality of play from the injuries a soft tissue.
- 5:01Speaker 5: I do think there's something to it.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Just like for me, like I'm thinking, all right, if
- 5:06Speaker 4: I don't really do those things in August, right and
- 5:08Speaker 4: alsodden in September, like I'm running down on kickoff and
- 5:11Speaker 4: I'm kicking out a linebacker on power like I'm thinking,
- 5:14Speaker 4: like when we say callous, I mean like my shoulders
- 5:17Speaker 4: haven't gone through that trauma. They haven't gone through that
- 5:19Speaker 4: impact like they're going to in a game.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I think there's something to it.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Person you always go a little bit harder in the
- 5:24Speaker 2: game you do and practice, yeah, because even if you're
- 5:26Speaker 2: practicing those things, it is going to be up.
- 5:28Speaker 4: And but if you don't practice them at all, and
- 5:30Speaker 4: then it's like you're in the car in the volumes
- 5:32Speaker 4: at one and you turn it immediately to an eleven, right,
- 5:35Speaker 4: it's like it's going to shock your ears the same thing.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I know. I had a little conspiracy on top of it.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Maybe some people have more proclivity to being injured than
- 5:46Speaker 2: other people. It's just the way your body's built, the
- 5:49Speaker 2: way you're designed by by the Good Lord, and its
- 5:51Speaker 2: just sometimes like you might just have that You might
- 5:56Speaker 2: get a shoulder injury or an ankle injury, or a
- 5:58Speaker 2: head into whatever a little bit quicker than somebody else
- 6:00Speaker 2: would when somebody else the same hit. And maybe with
- 6:03Speaker 2: the the less lesson not doing as much in practice
- 6:07Speaker 2: in all ages, maybe some of those guys don't get
- 6:10Speaker 2: weeded out as as as fast as possible.
- 6:13Speaker 6: You know, I think it's I think, like most things,
- 6:15Speaker 6: is probably not as easy as say it's all this,
- 6:17Speaker 6: you know, I do you guys are bigger, faster, stronger.
- 6:21Speaker 5: They just are. And that's that's the natural progression that
- 6:23Speaker 5: we've seen.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I wouldn't say stronger maybe not, maybe not because I've
- 6:26Speaker 2: been so on NFL radio, Like one of the questions
- 6:29Speaker 2: my co host always ask is, all right, take us
- 6:32Speaker 2: in the wig room, give us your numbers. And I
- 6:34Speaker 2: have been shocked by the numbers from Lineman. I'm like,
- 6:39Speaker 2: what that you bench?
- 6:40Speaker 5: What interesting?
- 6:41Speaker 4: So to your point and I know what you're saying, Yeah,
- 6:44Speaker 4: it's attack at what you said.
- 6:45Speaker 2: But like they don't do the lifts and they don't
- 6:49Speaker 2: max out.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Yeah, and I think that's probably part, but they don't
- 6:51Speaker 5: do as heavy that I think the.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Bigger and faster absolutely, Yeah, combine numbers are crazy.
- 6:56Speaker 5: Not a lot of a lot of places don't. Yeah,
- 6:58Speaker 5: so that is actually true.
- 6:59Speaker 6: And I mean again you're about injury and one rep
- 7:01Speaker 6: max and but I mean that was that was what
- 7:03Speaker 6: I lived for back then.
- 7:04Speaker 5: What do you bench?
- 7:05Speaker 6: I mean that was like mention, I mean that that
- 7:07Speaker 6: was that was cornerstone of what was important, Like, I agree.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Bigger and faster, Yeah, I mean these combine times are
- 7:13Speaker 4: crazy with some of the strength numbers.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I'm like, you're gonna have to show me the numbers
- 7:17Speaker 2: of how many people actually are getting hurt on MAX day. Yeah,
- 7:20Speaker 2: show me not four years. I never saw. I never
- 7:22Speaker 2: saw you. Never saw you. You're a college former and
- 7:26Speaker 2: a doctor for athletes. Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 6: Now, I've seen it in high school more so because
- 7:33Speaker 6: I think you get technique and bad technique, and I
- 7:36Speaker 6: think I think I have seen that in the clinic
- 7:38Speaker 6: where somebody's doing too much weight and you know, and
- 7:41Speaker 6: they're not doing it right or they're trying to show
- 7:42Speaker 6: off or whatever, and you know, but in a good setting,
- 7:45Speaker 6: I can't recall.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Look at ten rep max is not a max.
- 7:49Speaker 4: No, oh, the calculations actually say no, it's a one.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Got to play until they get under four.
- 7:53Speaker 2: You can get the team around you screaming at you
- 7:56Speaker 2: with some hard, hard music playing in the background. You
- 8:00Speaker 2: get that thing up one time, shaken.
- 8:01Speaker 5: Yeah, the bars bending, you know, yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you get that not a ten red backs and
- 8:05Speaker 2: put it through in a spreadshaping and they're like, you know.
- 8:08Speaker 5: This actually equates to if you do a No.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I mean we've had linemen o. They're like a bench like, oh,
- 8:14Speaker 2: you know three sixty five. I'm like, what sixty five?
- 8:20Speaker 2: We were running backs doing four twenty five. Ok. Sorry,
- 8:23Speaker 2: lights were different back then, plates very different, all right,
- 8:29Speaker 2: so yeah, just work harder. Yeah, get was right. Okay,
- 8:33Speaker 2: So a pretty mm hmm fun gross looking injury in
- 8:40Speaker 2: the NBA. Fun Well, I didn't know if like doctors
- 8:43Speaker 2: think that's weird that one in a while.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Yeah, the times that other people turned their head, I'm like, ye,
- 8:51Speaker 5: there's a little bit of.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Golden State Warrior player Moses Moses go. He went up
- 8:57Speaker 2: for a slam, dunk, came down, made it, came down
- 9:01Speaker 2: a little awkward on his knee. Take like he pull
- 9:03Speaker 2: up this picture real? Oh he got the video? Oh no,
- 9:06Speaker 2: oh boy? Uh a knee did a thing I've never
- 9:10Speaker 2: really seen. It looks like a kneecap pointing up, looks
- 9:13Speaker 2: like a horn Ooh he did not make the dunk,
- 9:15Speaker 2: by the way, Oh he didn't make it. The ball
- 9:17Speaker 2: fell immediately. Yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 5: I was on the way up looking.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Like, yeah, so what what what exactly what the knee
- 9:23Speaker 2: go that direction?
- 9:24Speaker 6: So typically you look at the potella the kneecap, and
- 9:28Speaker 6: if it's not where it's supposed to be, it usually
- 9:30Speaker 6: means one of a few things. You know, Typically we're
- 9:32Speaker 6: thinking either you had a p tell or dislocation, or
- 9:35Speaker 6: you tore part of what we call the extensor mechanism.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Oh, here we go. Is this just a knee cap? Yes? Yes,
- 9:41Speaker 2: so it wasn't even like his.
- 9:43Speaker 6: You see the big did it underneath the kneecap. So
- 9:46Speaker 6: in this scenario you have a pteller tendon rupture. So
- 9:49Speaker 6: the the knee cap is part of what we call
- 9:52Speaker 6: the extensor mechanism. So when you straighten your leg at
- 9:54Speaker 6: the knee, you're extending it. That the two tendons that
- 9:57Speaker 6: are attached to the knee cap or the potello, you
- 9:59Speaker 6: have your teller tendon beneath it and the quadricep tendon
- 10:02Speaker 6: above it. And yeah, if you tear one of those,
- 10:04Speaker 6: the kneecap is gonna be this placed. If you think
- 10:06Speaker 6: about it's like two ropes that are kind of opposing
- 10:08Speaker 6: each other, that are pulling in different directions, and if
- 10:10Speaker 6: all of a sudden I cut one of those ropes,
- 10:11Speaker 6: it's kind of tug of war. The other one wins,
- 10:13Speaker 6: and basically on this one, the quadricep one, the the
- 10:16Speaker 6: pateeller tendon lost in that scenario. Now, sometimes you see
- 10:20Speaker 6: a dislocation was off the side. Like I said, there's
- 10:21Speaker 6: three reasons. You're typically go to see it out of place.
- 10:23Speaker 6: You're dislocated it, well, I guess if you break it
- 10:26Speaker 6: a complete rupture or or if it's a tendon rupture.
- 10:30Speaker 6: So in this scenario, yeah, he had a ped teller
- 10:32Speaker 6: tendon rupture, which is a you know, pretty bad injury.
- 10:34Speaker 2: So I'm just straightening my leg out and I'm feeling
- 10:37Speaker 2: that tendant. It's a pretty big one. Yeah, pretty solid,
- 10:42Speaker 2: at least a half inch wide. That's a big rupture, right, Yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 2: it is.
- 10:45Speaker 5: We don't see a lot of them. I mean, they
- 10:46Speaker 5: definitely happen, you don't.
- 10:47Speaker 6: You don't see a lot of these, fortunately, you know
- 10:49Speaker 6: that's that's a that's a you know, you're gonna have
- 10:51Speaker 6: to surgically reattach the tendon. You're gonna have to keep
- 10:55Speaker 6: it immobilized for a while, rehab for a while. These
- 10:57Speaker 6: are usually no kind of like an a cl you're
- 10:59Speaker 6: looking at closer to a year that you're out for
- 11:01Speaker 6: this injury.
- 11:02Speaker 5: You know, they'sit in a few weeks in your back.
- 11:03Speaker 2: So you know, like when when Achilles is ruptured, I know,
- 11:06Speaker 2: it kind of curls up into the calf right, Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 2: so what happens to the.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Go It'll kind of come down.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Yeah, basically get lost in space.
- 11:15Speaker 6: There's not as much space for the teller tendon to
- 11:16Speaker 6: go the quad tendon ones because it's it's it's that
- 11:18Speaker 6: big muscle. It will retract a little bit more sometimes,
- 11:21Speaker 6: so if you tear it above the kneecap, you'll sometimes
- 11:23Speaker 6: caract a career threatening.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it could be. It could be.
- 11:28Speaker 6: I mean guys have definitely come back from this, but
- 11:30Speaker 6: you know a big body guy. You know, these guys
- 11:33Speaker 6: are giants. Uh So it's even more complex to repair
- 11:37Speaker 6: it because there's gonna be more force on it. On
- 11:38Speaker 6: the back end. You're gonna have to fight through stiffness.
- 11:41Speaker 6: You're going to rebuild the strength.
- 11:42Speaker 2: You know. It's it's is this a normal look for
- 11:44Speaker 2: when this injury that's what happens. It's pretty typical. Yeah,
- 11:47Speaker 2: that kind of palpable divot on one from the quad
- 11:50Speaker 2: wins the tug of war battle. What a great analogy,
- 11:53Speaker 2: trying like.
- 11:54Speaker 4: That's his left and if he was I'm thinking he's
- 11:57Speaker 4: like he was going to jump off his right foot.
- 11:59Speaker 4: So I'm wondering, like, was it just over time and
- 12:01Speaker 4: it was just it was time for it to go.
- 12:03Speaker 4: It can be it can be looked like there was
- 12:05Speaker 4: a lot of stress on it.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Like look, i mean, he's kinda like he's got it
- 12:08Speaker 2: all on his right leg right there. The left foot
- 12:10Speaker 2: looks like it's barely touching the ground.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Yeah, it's kind of an interesting one.
- 12:15Speaker 7: You know.
- 12:15Speaker 6: Sometimes you'll see it when somebody's forced into a hyper
- 12:17Speaker 6: flex position, and then sometimes it's kind of like an
- 12:20Speaker 6: eccentric load when you're trying to control the flexing of
- 12:23Speaker 6: the knee. You'll sometimes see it there, and that maybe
- 12:26Speaker 6: was kind of happened there. But yeah, I mean it
- 12:28Speaker 6: wasn't a massive load you wouldn't think. But again, he
- 12:31Speaker 6: could have had some wear into air overtime, a little
- 12:33Speaker 6: weakening over time, and then just there it went.
- 12:38Speaker 2: If you're injury time out, you're jogging out on the field,
- 12:42Speaker 2: you look down you see something like that, what is
- 12:44Speaker 2: your initial what do you say to the athlete who
- 12:48Speaker 2: I'm sure knows something is wrong. I'm sure you're not
- 12:52Speaker 2: going out there and you're like yeah, like, oh my god.
- 13:00Speaker 6: But you definitely have to kind of control the gut reaction,
- 13:03Speaker 6: which is often that you know, look, we see some
- 13:05Speaker 6: weird stuff. I've seen these point in the wrong directions,
- 13:06Speaker 6: and yeah, your first reaction, I'm like, you don't want
- 13:09Speaker 6: to be panicked. So a lot of it's trying to
- 13:10Speaker 6: get them to just relax and calm down, which is
- 13:12Speaker 6: way easier said than done. But you gotta just let
- 13:14Speaker 6: them know, hey, we're here, you're gonna be all right,
- 13:16Speaker 6: we got youa take some deep breaths. That's kind of
- 13:18Speaker 6: where it typically starts with these types of things. You
- 13:20Speaker 6: want to breathe, relax. You know, we're gonna take a
- 13:22Speaker 6: look at this thing, you know, and you just want
- 13:25Speaker 6: to reassure them. And you know, one of the things,
- 13:27Speaker 6: you never want to give them the horrible news right
- 13:28Speaker 6: out of the gate, like oh, this is a bad injury.
- 13:30Speaker 2: You know.
- 13:30Speaker 6: You just say, hey, look we got youa you're good.
- 13:32Speaker 6: Then you kind of let them calm down. Then we
- 13:34Speaker 6: kind of build it back to hey, this was a
- 13:36Speaker 6: big injury. Usually we're talking more about than they already know,
- 13:38Speaker 6: you know, and this guy obviously knows in that situation,
- 13:40Speaker 6: the athletes know when they did something, they felt that pop,
- 13:43Speaker 6: they felt something shipped in the leg, they felt they
- 13:45Speaker 6: usually know when we're out there, then it's a bad injury.
- 13:48Speaker 6: When it is, so it's more just hey, we got you,
- 13:50Speaker 6: You're okay, let us work with this. And then there's
- 13:53Speaker 6: certain things we have to determine with certain injuries. You know,
- 13:55Speaker 6: if it's a dislocation, do you have a pulse diiceley
- 13:57Speaker 6: do you have So there's things we have to find
- 13:59Speaker 6: out more quickly once we kind of get to that stage,
- 14:01Speaker 6: and then you just kind of walk them through it later.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Yeah, you have a fall up to that because okay,
- 14:09Speaker 4: I'm gonna fall out real quick. Also, how do you
- 14:12Speaker 4: not laugh when you go out there? Like for me
- 14:16Speaker 4: against Florida, Maroochi came out there, Bear came out there,
- 14:20Speaker 4: has what's going on?
- 14:20Speaker 2: Was wrong? Was wrong? My gent strap's broken? How do
- 14:25Speaker 2: you not laugh when somebody's like, I'm trying to act here.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I never experience that.
- 14:29Speaker 5: Yeah, we don't fake injuries, okay, l but anymore.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Say you're the Florida doctor, a Floriagator doctor, you know
- 14:38Speaker 2: you have to.
- 14:39Speaker 6: I mean, look, it does happen. I've seen There's been
- 14:41Speaker 6: times there's been a chuckle.
- 14:42Speaker 2: For sure.
- 14:43Speaker 6: You just try not to or if you do, you'd
- 14:45Speaker 6: be mindful like camera, you know, I'm looking at my
- 14:47Speaker 6: shoelace if i have to do something. You know, I'm
- 14:49Speaker 6: trying to distract myself, so there's no obvious because.
- 14:52Speaker 2: It does happen.
- 14:53Speaker 6: And then sometimes you laugh when it's a real injury,
- 14:55Speaker 6: you know, because I mean when uh, I mean, this
- 14:58Speaker 6: was on TV, so it wasn't a secret. But when
- 15:00Speaker 6: with Weeks dislocate his ankle, he's trying to get the
- 15:03Speaker 6: guys around him. He's trying to make lie of the situation.
- 15:05Speaker 6: So I mean, I'm laughing because he's yeah, he's trying
- 15:08Speaker 6: to make light of it. And you know, so you
- 15:10Speaker 6: get that scenario too, So that one was okay, you
- 15:12Speaker 6: know where Yeah, clearly he had an injury.
- 15:15Speaker 2: You could see it. Yeah, you could see that. H doc.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Last topic here I wanted to bring up because he
- 15:20Speaker 2: kind of came to in the spotlight this weekend NFL
- 15:24Speaker 2: football players playing flag football, and of course he's been
- 15:29Speaker 2: trophy winning former less Joe Burrow out there, Joe Burrow
- 15:34Speaker 2: out there doing some things that usually his position doesn't
- 15:37Speaker 2: call for a lot of cutting, a lot of juke
- 15:39Speaker 2: in a lot of straight leg cuts and stopping after
- 15:43Speaker 2: going full speed. He's had some lower body injuries. When
- 15:50Speaker 2: you saw those clips where you're like, no, Joe, no,
- 15:52Speaker 2: don't do that, there.
- 15:54Speaker 6: Was definitely a part of me that was But like
- 15:55Speaker 6: I said, it kind of goes back to our very
- 15:57Speaker 6: the first conversation. I also have them with that old
- 16:00Speaker 6: school mentality myself where I'm like, I wouldn't want to
- 16:02Speaker 6: go do that.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Why.
- 16:03Speaker 5: I mean, I get to go play with my boys.
- 16:04Speaker 6: I mean, how cool is that he's out there playing
- 16:06Speaker 6: with Jade and yet to our two Heisman trip guys
- 16:08Speaker 6: on the same team, both at the same position.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Technically, you know you can get them out there.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Say let's say this summer, after a foot injury in
- 16:16Speaker 2: the fall, Sam Levitt decided he wanted to go play
- 16:17Speaker 2: a little flag football and you saw some clips of that.
- 16:20Speaker 6: How would you feel I would tell him that was
- 16:21Speaker 6: a horrible idea, but I'd probably enjoy watching the clips.
- 16:25Speaker 2: You know. It's like as a couple of forty year
- 16:27Speaker 2: olds that went out there Cole Turkey and playing in
- 16:30Speaker 2: a coaches flag football game and were sore for probably
- 16:33Speaker 2: twelve days afterwards. You'd be careful playing flag football one
- 16:37Speaker 2: of those you use muscles that you haven't used in
- 16:39Speaker 2: a long time and maybe ever couse, just basketball on grass.
- 16:43Speaker 2: They used to stop this. It is what they used
- 16:45Speaker 2: to stop on a dime, big cut. Yeah ish, Now
- 16:49Speaker 2: it's more like a half dollar. Yeah, we still tried them,
- 16:53Speaker 2: We still won. Sorry about it.
- 16:56Speaker 5: Winners, so JB, so.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Tiburuh, don't play flay football.
- 17:03Speaker 5: It was fun to watch.
- 17:04Speaker 2: It was fun competitive. All right. We appreciate you, Doc.
- 17:08Speaker 4: We apologize to anybody like my father in law who
- 17:11Speaker 4: was eating breakfast when we showed that picture and said
- 17:13Speaker 4: he was eating breakfast, and now he's not apologized to
- 17:17Speaker 4: Daniel who came back to his desk and that's the
- 17:19Speaker 4: first thing that he saw.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Are bad, Actually Matt's bad. But we're in the fox also,
- 17:23Speaker 2: I'll take it as well. We had to know, yep,
- 17:25Speaker 2: we had to know. Yep. I still don't really know
- 17:28Speaker 2: what that alien like thing was standing up on his knee,
- 17:30Speaker 2: app but that's what it was. All right.
- 17:32Speaker 4: We'll take a break more OTB when we come back
- 17:34Speaker 4: here live from the Raisin Knees studio.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Off the bench, all right, go to trash rangers dot com.

- 17:51Speaker 2: yard at the house. That's one of the three options.
- 17:54Speaker 4: It is one of the three options, fifteen thirty fourty five.
- 17:56Speaker 4: They got all kinds of options over there, depending on
- 18:00Speaker 4: your site. Right if you got a job site, how
- 18:02Speaker 4: big of a project, or if your home renovation, or
- 18:03Speaker 4: if you're just like us, like you got things that
- 18:05Speaker 4: have been piling up that you can't throw in the
- 18:06Speaker 4: regular trash can obviously, so you need a dumpster to
- 18:09Speaker 4: put them in there. They're gonna drop it off, hauled off.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Incredibly easy process trash rangers dot com.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Say, trash rangers dot com, I'll tell you about the
- 18:15Speaker 2: roll up dump serting that flat rate price and every day.

- 18:30Speaker 2: time a week. They can pick up six times a week.
- 18:32Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. Very flexible local company doing that great work.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Trash rangers dot com.
- 18:39Speaker 8: The tunes it leve a nipple, put out a buffet,

- 19:01Speaker 2: I'm pulling bitless off the lot.
- 19:03Speaker 8: I smashed up the grade one about the arad you
- 19:07Speaker 8: can't be time we hit the parking lot. Return Hey

- 19:53Speaker 4: out of the quarterback.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Yeah he did. Yeah, former top five pick.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Oh, it's not a big deal. It's gonna be a starter.
- 19:58Speaker 4: It's gonna be a third team guy. Zach Wilson. Yes,
- 20:02Speaker 4: that Zach Wilson at a b y U. Former number
- 20:05Speaker 4: two pick by the New York Jets.
- 20:08Speaker 2: He had a great left back to the right, good
- 20:12Speaker 2: throw into cougars. Yes right, yeah, well he was a former.
- 20:20Speaker 7: And was also a fan of Cougars. Yeah, okay, this is.
- 20:24Speaker 2: The correct guy, Nolan, watch out, this is the correct guy.
- 20:29Speaker 2: You're there an old mederie. Well better watch out. How'd
- 20:33Speaker 2: your wife? Zak Wilson's in town?
- 20:36Speaker 7: No?
- 20:37Speaker 4: All right, so when I saw this? All right, Zach Wilson.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Where you know, we're what three weeks in the free agency.
- 20:44Speaker 4: You know, anytime you're three weeks in a free agency,
- 20:46Speaker 4: it's got like the last couple of guys to get
- 20:48Speaker 4: signed before the draft, because now, like all the guys
- 20:51Speaker 4: after the draft will be your veteran players that are
- 20:53Speaker 4: looking to play one more two more years whatever. Uh,
- 20:55Speaker 4: So you make this move and now you have, as
- 20:58Speaker 4: we know, Tyler Shuck Spencer Rattler and Zach Wilson. Is
- 21:03Speaker 4: there any way, and I'm going to pose this to
- 21:06Speaker 4: the room, is there any way that signing Zach Wilson.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Makes Spencer Ratler more available? Does that point to that
- 21:14Speaker 2: for y'all?
- 21:15Speaker 4: Because you very easily could have gotten any random undrafted
- 21:21Speaker 4: free agent quarterback.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Him Boil, you know, anybody in that realm. We all
- 21:27Speaker 2: know Joshua Dobbs, it could have been anybody, but you
- 21:30Speaker 2: decided to go get Zach Wilson, who's a talented guy.
- 21:33Speaker 4: He's never put it all together. Obviously, he's got a
- 21:35Speaker 4: ton of starts in the NFL. Does that point to
- 21:38Speaker 4: Spencer Ratler maybe being available?
- 21:41Speaker 2: M Well, we've talked about that option since, you know,
- 21:46Speaker 2: even towards the end of the season. As for the
- 21:49Speaker 2: trade deadline. Before the trade deadline, it's like, if you
- 21:52Speaker 2: have an asset for the Saints, you need to at
- 21:55Speaker 2: least explore, explore the option or what's out there. I
- 22:00Speaker 2: think the Saints belief and certainly we do too on
- 22:03Speaker 2: this show, that Spencer Rattler has a bright future. Whatever
- 22:08Speaker 2: what that looks like, I don't know, but here's an
- 22:11Speaker 2: opportunity there. He's got a lot of potential to have
- 22:14Speaker 2: a bright future. So he's not gonna be your guy
- 22:17Speaker 2: in New Orleans. So if you have an a like,
- 22:19Speaker 2: if you have some value in him, why not explore
- 22:23Speaker 2: that option. I know you want to always have a
- 22:25Speaker 2: great backup option. You want to have a great backup plan.
- 22:28Speaker 2: It's a seventeen game season, it's anything can happen, so
- 22:32Speaker 2: you don't want an injury to one person completely knock
- 22:36Speaker 2: your entire season off the rail. So this addition, you know,
- 22:44Speaker 2: I figured that they were going to do something, try
- 22:46Speaker 2: to get a little bit more veteran presence, right, Soak
- 22:50Speaker 2: Wilson's been in the league since twenty twenty one, I
- 22:53Speaker 2: think three years of the Jets, one year with the Dolphins.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I don't know if that's like the veteran presence that
- 22:59Speaker 2: if you're just looking for a veteran presence, I don't
- 23:02Speaker 2: know if that's the presence I would have gone after.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Maybe someone like Dobbs, like you had talked about. So
- 23:09Speaker 2: maybe this reason this move is for a little bit
- 23:11Speaker 2: different reason. Maybe they are trying to explore that option
- 23:15Speaker 2: on draft day of potentially moving Rattler, which I would
- 23:18Speaker 2: like to say, I'd like to I think he's he's
- 23:20Speaker 2: been a good teammate and I think he I think
- 23:23Speaker 2: he deserves an opportunity and I hope he gets it.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Trying to find career starts for Zach Wilson, I mean
- 23:35Speaker 4: he does have thirty four starts, twenty three.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Touchdowns, and twenty five interceptions on his career. Yeah, I
- 23:42Speaker 2: mean he played for the Jets for three years. So
- 23:43Speaker 2: like we got a great everybody on a scale a
- 23:45Speaker 2: little bit, but certainly there was a lot of hype
- 23:49Speaker 2: coming out the Cougar thing definitely didn't. Yeah, I mean
- 23:53Speaker 2: top top five fig number two. I mean, agree, hell
- 23:59Speaker 2: of a brother he did. But that's the first thing
- 24:03Speaker 2: that I thought of, Okay, if you're bringing a guy
- 24:04Speaker 2: like this, like, do you really bring him in to
- 24:06Speaker 2: be your three, like and just sit there like you
- 24:08Speaker 2: can get other options that would be at a different
- 24:11Speaker 2: price to be your three. So it just had me thinking, Okay, well,
- 24:14Speaker 2: the teams that still need a quarterback out there. If
- 24:16Speaker 2: I'm the Pittsburgh Steelers, if I'm the Arizona Cardinals, yep,
- 24:22Speaker 2: like what I currently have is that as good as
- 24:24Speaker 2: Spencer Ratler wasn't And I don't think that this move
- 24:28Speaker 2: there's been no noise, there's been no rumors to even
- 24:36Speaker 2: point towards them bringing making the signing because they're not
- 24:39Speaker 2: happy with Rattler.
- 24:41Speaker 4: No, I think that they would see that they would
- 24:42Speaker 4: have an asset like get an asset back for Spencer
- 24:45Speaker 4: Ratler exactly.
- 24:46Speaker 2: A young quarterback has has played well. Certainly not the
- 24:49Speaker 2: not the the stat and the wind calumn like you
- 24:52Speaker 2: want to see, but certainly if you look at the
- 24:54Speaker 2: totality of how he played the game. I think, so
- 24:57Speaker 2: this isn't a situation where the Saints are disappointed, so
- 24:59Speaker 2: they're bringing somebody else in, and I think it's let's
- 25:01Speaker 2: strengthen our quarterback room. Let's bring in a guy that
- 25:03Speaker 2: has got a little bit of experience. I mean, he
- 25:05Speaker 2: did play, He's played with some veteran quarterbacks as well.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Maybe he can bring some sort of knowledge to that.
- 25:12Speaker 2: So I don't know, I don't know. I know Rogers
- 25:15Speaker 2: played with him for a couple of years. Rogers and
- 25:18Speaker 2: Tolez the intertit. Maybe there's some communication. H look at you,
- 25:27Speaker 2: I'm just putting pieces together at Sherlock Holmes, I'm just
- 25:30Speaker 2: like times strings well done. So, yeah, it was twenty
- 25:34Speaker 2: twenty one through twenty three with the Jets.
- 25:36Speaker 4: He was with the Broncos in twenty twenty four, and
- 25:38Speaker 4: then with the Miami Dolphins in twenty twenty five. And
- 25:41Speaker 4: now Zach Wilson New Orleans Saints quarterback and he's going
- 25:45Speaker 4: to be third on the depth chart. And again we'll
- 25:47Speaker 4: see what that means maybe for Spencer Raler. See if
- 25:49Speaker 4: you can get if you are trying to maybe explore trade,
- 25:53Speaker 4: what that value would bring back. Because again, Spencer Ratler
- 25:56Speaker 4: was somebody that finished within the top twenty five of
- 25:59Speaker 4: QBO our quarterback rating as well in the NFL a
- 26:02Speaker 4: year ago. So there's some teams out there that are
- 26:05Speaker 4: gonna be desperate for quarterback. Certainly, if like Aaron Rodgers decides,
- 26:10Speaker 4: you know what, actually, I'm going to hang him up,
- 26:11Speaker 4: I'm not going to go out there and give it
- 26:15Speaker 4: another year like that, that puts them a little bit
- 26:17Speaker 4: of a bind. There's a lot of teams actually that
- 26:20Speaker 4: we could have this conversation about. Some have already made moves,
- 26:24Speaker 4: some have already added quarterbacks like the Atlanta Falcons and
- 26:26Speaker 4: to a tongue by Loa. But there's gonna be opportunities
- 26:29Speaker 4: for Spencer Ratler if the Saints do, in fact, put
- 26:32Speaker 4: him on a trading block again.
- 26:33Speaker 2: What was his QB quarterback rating was eighty six last year,
- 26:40Speaker 2: so that would put him spread your wings and fly right, DAP.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I mean he had a better quarterback rating than a
- 26:52Speaker 2: lot of cam Ward who was number one. You gotta
- 26:55Speaker 2: wing games, but you.
- 26:56Speaker 4: Got all right, we'll take a break. We've got coach
- 27:01Speaker 4: Kim Maulk joining us at nine thirty today, not eight thirty.
- 27:04Speaker 4: She's out West and Sacramento getting ready for the Sweet sixteen.
- 27:08Speaker 4: So pushing her back because well it's early out on
- 27:11Speaker 4: the West coast. So looking forward to that conversation. More

- 29:08Speaker 2: Uh asking, hey, hey Mom, can I can I get
- 29:13Speaker 2: this album? Man? Get it a Walmart because he knew
- 29:17Speaker 2: that was going to be the end of the church. Yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 2: they didn't have anything that had print advisory on them.
- 29:26Speaker 2: I mean basically an astronaut, y'all all seem fast, basically
- 29:32Speaker 2: in a car with thens button in space.
- 29:39Speaker 7: I want to learn how to like real DJ. Okay,
- 29:43Speaker 7: you can do like with the turntables and it I would.
- 29:45Speaker 2: I looked it up on Amazon. They got some stuff
- 29:47Speaker 2: on Amazon you can get. Why did you look it up?
- 29:50Speaker 2: Because I was thinking.
- 29:50Speaker 7: About being a DJ, DJ Dragon and DJ blank Space,
- 29:56Speaker 7: taking over the.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Club until you put shout. And actually as at a
- 30:01Speaker 2: birthday party with some some packer guys that I was there,
- 30:06Speaker 2: my buddy A J. Hawk, we were sitting there talking
- 30:08Speaker 2: and there's a DJ there, famous DJ, and we were like,
- 30:11Speaker 2: this guy, this guy gets paid like half a million
- 30:14Speaker 2: bucks for every like time he goes out and does
- 30:17Speaker 2: DJ things. He really this and we were like, we
- 30:20Speaker 2: could be DJs. We could do this, we could be
- 30:23Speaker 2: a pops of the time. So we started looking it up.
- 30:25Speaker 2: You know, we were going to be called DJ hammon X.
- 30:29Speaker 2: That's actually electric question. That's actually a great Dale.
- 30:33Speaker 7: On the chat said DJ Kank for you, DJ Glizzy Maguire,
- 30:40Speaker 7: because I do love that's good. Do you love a Glizzy?
- 30:43Speaker 2: That's good? So yeah, I see and then just click buttons.
- 30:47Speaker 2: They sit there and they just they have the head
- 30:49Speaker 2: throne on. They do this, and then they watched this.
- 30:51Speaker 2: They put the finger up and they're like, watch this.
- 30:53Speaker 7: They push button and then the drops and everyone's.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Watch this, watch this, watch this, and the bea drops
- 30:59Speaker 2: and then the fog everywhere. I'm gonna I'm gonna send
- 31:03Speaker 2: a video of exactly what you're talking about.
- 31:06Speaker 7: I really feel it's there's like I could be a
- 31:10Speaker 7: DJ and I can make a living off of this.
- 31:13Speaker 2: You get Okay, So the DJ in the DJ where
- 31:16Speaker 2: they get paid so much money. So like in Vegas,
- 31:19Speaker 2: like the Chainsmokers when they were they were hot, they're
- 31:22Speaker 2: getting paid a half a million dollars for every show
- 31:24Speaker 2: they were doing. And sometimes it's in the summer, they
- 31:27Speaker 2: were doing two shows a day. A million they're doing
- 31:29Speaker 2: the show, and then they were doing like the club.
- 31:33Speaker 7: Wait, okay, I need y'all to also DJ. I need
- 31:37Speaker 7: y'all to all and then we could be DJ wolf
- 31:39Speaker 7: Pack and it's all four of us and we just
- 31:43Speaker 7: make millions and millions of dollars in Vegas.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Yeah watch this ooo.
- 31:50Speaker 7: And everyone's like what they lose their mind.
- 31:54Speaker 2: B I don't understand how they get paid so much money.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I get it. It's a vibe like it's a it's fun.
- 32:03Speaker 2: But I could do it. And you can get some
- 32:04Speaker 2: turntables and some of the buttons and stuff on Amazon.
- 32:07Speaker 7: I'm gonna look into this.
- 32:11Speaker 2: You gotta take you got you gotta think it takes
- 32:14Speaker 2: limited practice.
- 32:15Speaker 7: Yeah, no, it can't be that much. I feel like
- 32:19Speaker 7: I can read the room, so I'd be able to like, Okay,
- 32:23Speaker 7: this is getting people lit. This is not getting people lit.
- 32:26Speaker 7: My thing is just like the button part of it,
- 32:28Speaker 7: the button and the putting the beats together.
- 32:30Speaker 2: How does one like, how does one find.
- 32:34Speaker 10: Fog machine fog machine light shop point in the back
- 32:38Speaker 10: that you just.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Sit there and they do this. They don't even turn
- 32:40Speaker 2: the disc and they just kind of do this and
- 32:41Speaker 2: then they pumped the fist loot button push. They get
- 32:48Speaker 2: the crowd up like this button push. Hell, yeah, I'm
- 32:58Speaker 2: so very envious of it. I do like that you
- 33:01Speaker 2: went as far as to look up the equipment you
- 33:05Speaker 2: had and a name. Who was hamm and who was Egg?
- 33:10Speaker 2: We didn't get that far.
- 33:12Speaker 10: It feels like you would have No, it doesn't matter,
- 33:15Speaker 10: It doesn't matter. You want to keep everybody guess exactly.
- 33:18Speaker 2: It's like we are ham and Eggs every time where
- 33:21Speaker 2: every time with DJ, where we switch up who's on
- 33:23Speaker 2: the left and the right?
- 33:24Speaker 7: Yeah, never know. And you'all wore masks.
- 33:27Speaker 2: A lot of a lot of a lot of j
- 33:31Speaker 2: masks are big in the DJ game.
- 33:33Speaker 7: I would go with the purge mask.
- 33:35Speaker 10: Mmmm, you got to do you a big egg, and
- 33:38Speaker 10: then one's the ham but nobody knows who's who.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I think that one of the first ones that I
- 33:42Speaker 2: knew that were. I don't know how in the world
- 33:44Speaker 2: you're going to get that to your computer, but you
- 33:48Speaker 2: can do it. I believe in you. I believe Come on, Johnny,
- 33:52Speaker 2: you can do it where mhmm. Yeah, everybody did pretty good.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Rip Thank you.
- 34:05Speaker 10: By the way, there's a new movie coming out with
- 34:08Speaker 10: James Vanderbek in it.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Yes, is it? Ai?
- 34:11Speaker 7: No?
- 34:12Speaker 2: I thought I thought like he did it, but then
- 34:13Speaker 2: like some of the scenes they had, like I think
- 34:15Speaker 2: it's a lot.
- 34:16Speaker 10: I think it's a lot like with The Fast seven
- 34:19Speaker 10: or Furious seven or whatever with Paul Walker. He's in
- 34:21Speaker 10: most of it. But yeah, like, uh, I don't know
- 34:25Speaker 10: what I was watching. I saw the trailer and I'm like,
- 34:26Speaker 10: that's James Vanderby.
- 34:29Speaker 2: We only got tweetered. Who thought tweeter would be you
- 34:31Speaker 2: know last one? Yeah? That was a good shape. True.
- 34:40Speaker 2: We know he danced. He had an inz and dance.
- 34:42Speaker 2: H I'm a little disappointed that coming to the Green
- 34:48Speaker 2: Bay David Busters is not d J Hammond Egg it
- 34:52Speaker 2: might be don't kind of sound where is AJ's and
- 34:57Speaker 2: Columbus now right? I'd be on though. I mean Shack
- 35:01Speaker 2: did it, Yeah, he does it. I mean Shack. I
- 35:05Speaker 2: went to I went to a Shack show. I wasn't. Oh, yeah,
- 35:09Speaker 2: where was that?
- 35:09Speaker 7: It was?
- 35:10Speaker 2: It was that in Vegas. It was at was at
- 35:13Speaker 2: the stadium right after the game in the stadium Vegas
- 35:18Speaker 2: and Allegiance when we played USC.
- 35:22Speaker 7: Yeah, it was right after that was after the game. Yep,
- 35:26Speaker 7: I don't even remember that. And I was there until
- 35:29Speaker 7: Brian Kelly stopped banging on the deck.
- 35:31Speaker 2: So we knew people and new people and we had
- 35:32Speaker 2: some really great seats. So we had we were in
- 35:34Speaker 2: the Zone club and so right behind the insund clubs
- 35:37Speaker 2: like a club.
- 35:38Speaker 7: Okay, as soon as the.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Games ever Shack played, there electric a lot of opping
- 35:45Speaker 2: up the crab, heping up the crab button push. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:52Speaker 2: you know you've had a lot of stupid ideas, but
- 35:54Speaker 2: this might be your best. Thank you. This is my MoMA, Lisa.
- 35:58Speaker 2: It really is like can you imagine Dragon come into
- 36:02Speaker 2: Fred's all right, we ready for this video start like
- 36:06Speaker 2: this isn't like this.
- 36:08Speaker 4: Guy didn't even get the crowd high. But this guy
- 36:10Speaker 4: gets paid. I think I looked it up one time.
- 36:12Speaker 4: He gets paid like three hundred thousand dollars per game.
- 36:15Speaker 2: That's low.
- 36:16Speaker 4: So DJ game three hundred thousand, Well, I mean like
- 36:20Speaker 4: the DJs you were talking about, like they're like some
- 36:22Speaker 4: of the biggest in the world. But I remember because
- 36:24Speaker 4: I was like, this is a banger, but like, just
- 36:27Speaker 4: watch what this guy does and he gets paid three
- 36:29Speaker 4: hundred thousand dollars per gig.
- 36:33Speaker 2: We wanted to.
- 36:35Speaker 7: Say, we could have been so good together. It's not
- 36:39Speaker 7: even music.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I haven't pushed anything yet. Oh no, he's not even
- 36:43Speaker 2: turning them. Oh there's a turn look look, look, look,
- 36:46Speaker 2: look he wants you to look. Just watch. Oh look
- 36:54Speaker 2: it's turning knobs he's and a lot of times there
- 36:56Speaker 2: are fake turns. Yeah. Look he's just touching him held
- 37:03Speaker 2: doing again, it's all he does. Right here, there's a
- 37:12Speaker 2: button flush. Oh there was sounds good.
- 37:18Speaker 7: Those two songs don't even I don't even feel like
- 37:21Speaker 7: that sounded good.
- 37:22Speaker 10: Hundreds was played thousand and then halfway through, play the
- 37:27Speaker 10: second song and get.
- 37:28Speaker 2: You ready, like watch this flip the switch and then on.
- 37:31Speaker 10: The second starts playing and then watch wait boom.
- 37:35Speaker 2: But I was feeling it.
- 37:38Speaker 7: I was feeling careless whisper.
- 37:41Speaker 2: But like, so they're getting paid for the mixes they
- 37:43Speaker 2: make and they're just playing their mixes.
- 37:48Speaker 7: Yeah, totally, but that was a terrible mix.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I was feeling great, enjoyed. I mean, you seem
- 37:53Speaker 2: better though from DJs points. I remember seeing that one
- 37:56Speaker 2: and being like, who is this guy? Because everybody's like
- 37:59Speaker 2: waiting on the hook.
- 38:00Speaker 7: Yeah. I heard a mashup of Choosing Texas by Ella
- 38:04Speaker 7: Langley with Dreams by Fleetwood Mac. That was a good one.
- 38:09Speaker 7: That one was really good. Coming to a club near
- 38:15Speaker 7: you soon.
- 38:15Speaker 2: I went to the concert last May it was Morgan
- 38:20Speaker 2: Wallen one that's in Gulf Shores. They changed the name
- 38:22Speaker 2: of it. Yeah it wasn't Sane. Yeah Hangout like hang
- 38:25Speaker 2: Out Fast Area. Yeah, now it's Santa but they're not
- 38:27Speaker 2: doing it this year. But they did it. Morgan Wallan
- 38:29Speaker 2: took over it and owns it now or whatever. Santa
- 38:32Speaker 2: my boots and the night before, Diplo played and it
- 38:35Speaker 2: was awesome and like he did a lot of like
- 38:37Speaker 2: country mashups and stuff.
- 38:39Speaker 8: It was.
- 38:39Speaker 2: It was really good. I enjoyed it. I mean it's good,
- 38:41Speaker 2: like I don't want to see it like all night,
- 38:43Speaker 2: but like to pump up. So for that night it
- 38:46Speaker 2: was like we went to Diplo on one stage and
- 38:50Speaker 2: like rock your faces off, and we went all the
- 38:52Speaker 2: way walked to this other stage and it was Brooks
- 38:54Speaker 2: and Done.
- 38:54Speaker 11: So it was like, oh yeah, Taylor's death just went up.
- 39:00Speaker 11: Then boot scooting but you heard it. I mean, Moon's
- 39:06Speaker 11: a banger.
- 39:08Speaker 7: Ne On Moon is one of the best songs of
- 39:10Speaker 7: all time objectively. Yeah, has so much.
- 39:14Speaker 2: They weren't scooting around. I mean was like, I know Kicksbrooks,
- 39:22Speaker 2: I got married.
- 39:23Speaker 10: This would have been junior July of twenty twenty two
- 39:26Speaker 10: up in Shreetport and they were they were rocking a
- 39:29Speaker 10: man stage President Kicks Brooks actually has a lot better
- 39:32Speaker 10: stage presence than Ronnie Donne from he was They were great.
- 39:36Speaker 10: I mean when they played Red Dirt Road Place win Nuts.
- 39:41Speaker 10: Easy in the Chest says, most DJs are awful out.
- 39:44Speaker 10: I mean, look DJ Launder for three to seven hundred
- 39:47Speaker 10: and fifty thousand a show.
- 39:48Speaker 2: I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll I'll air twist those.
- 39:52Speaker 2: I'll have the best mix up you've ever heard, will
- 39:55Speaker 2: blow your mind. I was going to Chad Gpt and say, hey,
- 39:57Speaker 2: give me a playlist, mash it up songs that have
- 40:00Speaker 2: kind of the same melody that would play with each other.
- 40:03Speaker 7: It's like the beats per minute that you have to match.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Whatever it is. MY friend will tell me it doesn't
- 40:08Speaker 2: matter for every every half bat you get like ten thousand,
- 40:12Speaker 2: DJ Dragon, DJ Blank Space, DJ Lowman, and DJ white
- 40:18Speaker 2: Man Neon white Man, Who I would know? I would.
- 40:22Speaker 10: I would rock some Neon Green.
- 40:26Speaker 2: White Neon. All right, I can't make white Neon, but
- 40:34Speaker 2: somehow I did it. I'll bet you Murphy, Sam and
- 40:36Speaker 2: Jody don't have cool DJ names. They don't know but
- 40:39Speaker 2: it's just DJ Murphy J Jody probably mashing together. I
- 40:49Speaker 2: don't know. Sweater takes. Yeah, Easter egg colors, which one
- 40:58Speaker 2: most popular twenty two, twenty six. Yeah, yeahs. I'm gonna
- 41:03Speaker 2: get that here. I'll take a break or to be
- 41:06Speaker 2: when we come back live from the Raisinking studio.

- 41:33Speaker 4: to pelicanroof dot com the website for Pelican Roofing in Lafayette,
- 41:36Speaker 4: in Baton Rouge and those local communities. As you can tell,
- 41:39Speaker 4: it does mean a lot to them, not just like
- 41:41Speaker 4: in the roofing game, but they want to make sure
- 41:44Speaker 4: that they are out there and that's one of the
- 41:46Speaker 4: first things they said to us, like they want to
- 41:48Speaker 4: be involved, they want to sponsor your youth team. They
- 41:50Speaker 4: want to have charity events and that's exactly what they
- 41:52Speaker 4: do with Run for Rufous.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Yeah, just because they're part of the community and like
- 41:55Speaker 2: they don't have to do like it doesn't help their
- 41:57Speaker 2: business to do this with the run roofs. It's just
- 42:01Speaker 2: they care about the community and they're the best to
- 42:04Speaker 2: work with. So if you have a project happening, if
- 42:06Speaker 2: you need a new grave, froof for pair, whatever is,
- 42:07Speaker 2: make sure you give pelican back.
