- 0:11Speaker 1: So much?
- 0:16Speaker 3: Every one is?
- 0:20Speaker 1: Don't care what you say? Sheep, But I don't think
- 0:24Speaker 1: Jr's legs are too squatty. They are perfect for his
- 0:27Speaker 1: body size. Well, what's going on?
- 0:34Speaker 3: My legs are actually very large.
- 0:36Speaker 2: I have an issue that I don't have pants that
- 0:38Speaker 2: fit around my thighs.
- 0:39Speaker 3: So thank you very much.
- 0:42Speaker 1: He's studiumn swallow. Is that what you're going for now?
- 0:44Speaker 4: It's because he hardly has a wist.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Because of soccer.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Actually, the ratio for the muscles that's on the legs
- 0:52Speaker 2: is really abnormal.
- 0:53Speaker 3: It creates problems.
- 0:54Speaker 1: So JR has a has a muffin top, but it's
- 0:57Speaker 1: a really weird It's like a mini muffin top. Right,
- 1:00Speaker 1: So is it like a muffined bottom. Yeah, I think
- 1:06Speaker 1: it's called corn dogs. What jar is trying to say
- 1:09Speaker 1: is he's got that cake. That's what he's trying to say.
- 1:13Speaker 2: But what we do cake and amber skies.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Yes, yes, that's exactly where I was heading with that. Anyways,
- 1:22Speaker 1: what's going on? Everybody? I am the one the only
- 1:24Speaker 1: w o okay, I eat joined here by the normal
- 1:26Speaker 1: Castle misfits. We got the PhD of key Forge, Doctor Sheep,
- 1:30Speaker 1: Ah the choke show of key Forge, dry score of
- 1:36Speaker 1: the entire thing, all of it, all of it okay,
- 1:41Speaker 1: and the Elocky is the els ewock Jr.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Hello key Fords community. Glad to be here in some
- 1:48Speaker 2: pants that fit and pants that fit.
- 1:50Speaker 1: But we got stuff to do today, ladies and boys
- 1:54Speaker 1: and girls. We have to keep it a short episode
- 1:57Speaker 1: because somebody named doctor Sheep needs to go to bed early. Wow,
- 2:03Speaker 1: because he needs to wake up in the morning for
- 2:06Speaker 1: some reason. M weird.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I need I need extra grumping violence for tomorrow.
- 2:13Speaker 1: So it is predetermined Sheep will tomorrow thus wake up
- 2:17Speaker 1: and choose violence.
- 2:20Speaker 4: I must also be able to stray a coherent sentence
- 2:24Speaker 4: and that's why sleep is needed.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Wow, got it perfect. But we do have a little
- 2:28Speaker 1: bit to go over this week. Number one, we need
- 2:31Speaker 1: to go over our official segment OP with Sheep Sheep.
- 2:37Speaker 1: What do we do for OP? This week.
- 2:40Speaker 4: We played Mars Civil War, which we get to continue
- 2:44Speaker 4: to play.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I do love the Civil War series, as we said
- 2:50Speaker 1: last week, or maybe it was two weeks ago. I
- 2:51Speaker 1: can't remember. Please keep bringing this.
- 2:57Speaker 4: In America me.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I'm team iron Man. I have no idea what this
- 3:04Speaker 1: has to do with anything, am I.
- 3:10Speaker 3: The only one we lost is Sheep. I don't know.
- 3:13Speaker 1: We started talking about Civil War, it is true, but
- 3:19Speaker 1: I am Team iron Man because Captain America sucks. Anyways,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I'm a very divisive personality. Anyways, we played some Martian
- 3:35Speaker 1: Civil War Sheep. What happened? We have? Well number one.
- 3:39Speaker 1: We got to give it up to Sanctum Games. Fantastic
- 3:43Speaker 1: game star, great gaming experience. Everything was fantastic, awesome and
- 3:49Speaker 1: on point.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Yeah, clean, lots of play space, easy to be able
- 3:55Speaker 2: to get to. We had a phenomenal turnout. People coming
- 3:58Speaker 2: from south of US in Illinois all the way. Some
- 4:01Speaker 2: people came from Madison down and then we had eighteen people.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Right, It's wow.
- 4:08Speaker 2: We went in the lead for the largest event until
- 4:13Speaker 2: the Brits got us.
- 4:14Speaker 3: It was dirty Brent, rats Brits.
- 4:16Speaker 4: You did. I mean, they're like whole countries the same
- 4:20Speaker 4: size as our state. Right, maybe it's a little bigger.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Hey, they stood with geography, so we're not up.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Next week we'll get our tape measure out and go measure.
- 4:32Speaker 1: But for this week, we had eighteen people from all
- 4:36Speaker 1: over the great state of Wisconsin and a bunch from
- 4:38Speaker 1: Illinois had a great time. Unfortunately, the rebel scum what
- 4:45Speaker 1: was it fourteen thirteen? I believe fourteen thirteen, And it
- 4:49Speaker 1: came down to the last reported game. The very last
- 4:53Speaker 1: reported game was the decider, because we were tying thirteen thirteen,
- 4:56Speaker 1: going wait, waiting for Ewok to finish.
- 4:59Speaker 2: No, no, no, that is not true because I was
- 5:02Speaker 2: an elder this time, and both both Pete and I
- 5:05Speaker 2: actually represented. Both of us went three and oh as
- 5:08Speaker 2: elders and some other schmucks on our eldership went ahead
- 5:13Speaker 2: and all of us and just absolutely failed and did
- 5:17Speaker 2: not come through. We both represented three and O three.
- 5:23Speaker 2: It was not the last game that decided that we lost.
- 5:26Speaker 2: It was the last game that decided. We lost by
- 5:28Speaker 2: only one, not two.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Round three. I didn't set a timer. The timer was
- 5:35Speaker 4: you have until e Wok finishes the finish their game.
- 5:44Speaker 3: We are still playing to this.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Taking a break. Tweet the first and second key.
- 5:52Speaker 4: How many times did you make it to time you walk?
- 5:56Speaker 2: So we played three, We played three rounds and I
- 6:00Speaker 2: ser ad a time Nickey Ford suck. There is there
- 6:08Speaker 2: is a little bit of shenanigans from our organizer. He said,
- 6:12Speaker 2: you may start whenever, and then we will be able
- 6:15Speaker 2: to play. Never gave me a time call and just
- 6:18Speaker 2: came over and it's like, I asked how much time
- 6:22Speaker 2: is left, and he's like, hmm, that's it. Yeah, how
- 6:26Speaker 2: about two and.
- 6:27Speaker 3: A half minutes.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Indeed, that's where he was being run by a timer
- 6:35Speaker 4: and there was two and a half minutes at that time.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Time calls, all of these things seems like complete sheet
- 6:42Speaker 1: things to do.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Yes, if you're playing a time in the Civil War,
- 6:47Speaker 4: you deserve a loss.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Oh no, no, I thought.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I thought, Actually all three of my games were really
- 6:53Speaker 2: really well played.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Players get lost and your decks are shredded.
- 6:58Speaker 3: That's right. I will go out and talk.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Okay, so game number one, I got a chance to
- 7:04Speaker 2: play Camiro. Awesome, awesome, awesome player. We're going at this
- 7:10Speaker 2: and I go first play some uh I had Scilla
- 7:16Speaker 2: and you would no, no, no, no, but but picture this.
- 7:21Speaker 2: This is where the opening, just the first two I
- 7:24Speaker 2: drop uh, one of our big seven power beats. He
- 7:29Speaker 2: comes back and drops the aeronaut, so he's got aeronauts.
- 7:33Speaker 2: He drops three of the aeronauts and Atilian and I'm.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Like, oh, oh, that's that's that's rough.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I play something else. He does not come back to Mars. Instead,
- 7:47Speaker 2: he goes ahead and drops Brio out.
- 7:50Speaker 3: That's right.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Turn two, I have three aeronauts and Anatilian and Brio there.
- 7:57Speaker 3: It was an incredible, incredible.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Game that was I was well fought. I had to
- 8:02Speaker 2: go ahead and make sure that I eventually was able
- 8:06Speaker 2: to get the aeronaut and from there. So my next
- 8:14Speaker 2: turn actually ended up me going ahead and using that
- 8:16Speaker 2: seven power in order to fight Brow. I need to
- 8:18Speaker 2: do that, And then afterwards I basically caught our uh
- 8:24Speaker 2: not Tillian and Natilian then came back multiple times. I
- 8:28Speaker 2: have seen more Nautilians in the Civil War Battle Poison, Yes,
- 8:31Speaker 2: oh my goodness. And they are while they while they
- 8:35Speaker 2: typically don't have any standing power in ARCon, they have
- 8:39Speaker 2: done some wonders in this event.
- 8:41Speaker 1: So it is better and sealed, yes, right, because you're
- 8:47Speaker 1: not you're not not that you're guaranteed to face a
- 8:50Speaker 1: board clear and in ARCon. But like your your chances
- 8:53Speaker 1: of having solid board control of going against solid board
- 8:57Speaker 1: control are way higher in UH in ar Con, so
- 9:03Speaker 1: it's not nearly as useful.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Well, and here we were playing WHOA, so everybody at
- 9:08Speaker 2: Sanctum was playing WHOA. That means Kaboom is pretty well pointless,
- 9:14Speaker 2: and so is scoop up. So those were major major
- 9:19Speaker 2: pieces that we slay war. The world is pretty weak too.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I do have to say that I had to go
- 9:26Speaker 2: ahead and use catch and release to hit the Nautilian.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I did, but I missed the silly aeronaut that goes
- 9:31Speaker 2: ahead and search us.
- 9:32Speaker 3: So he went and searched.
- 9:33Speaker 1: For microphone across the room. Now no, right here, his
- 9:38Speaker 1: big legs are in the way. Yeah, but I.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Have to say where was the turning point? The turning
- 9:49Speaker 2: point in this game was Body Snatchers?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Really, Oh yeah, you're gonna You're gonna have to remind
- 9:58Speaker 1: me what what that card? Even?
- 10:00Speaker 4: It snatches booties.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Come on, booty snatcher yet, yes, she's all about aren't
- 10:09Speaker 1: you walk?
- 10:13Speaker 2: So Body Snatchers is a rare Mars card play. For
- 10:18Speaker 2: the remainder of the turn, each enemy creature gains destroyed. Fully,
- 10:21Speaker 2: heal this creature and give control of it to your opponent.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Now what's great about this is I threw in three
- 10:29Speaker 2: creatures in order to get our Natilian destroyed it. I
- 10:34Speaker 2: had to be able to send in at least ten power.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I hit it for eleven. But after that I had
- 10:40Speaker 2: built up a Mars board, and so the body snatchers
- 10:43Speaker 2: with this Mars event, we had all these Mars creatures out.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And the thing about it is that when you kill them,
- 10:49Speaker 2: you fully heal them and they come on your side.
- 10:53Speaker 2: And so now I have this Natilian, I can go
- 10:57Speaker 2: ahead and have multiple aeronauts that are over here. I
- 11:00Speaker 2: had he had the two power two armor, the Martian
- 11:05Speaker 2: what is it, the minutes Martians that was their token creature.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I was had the amber munches at three and one.
- 11:13Speaker 3: So this this.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Turn actually was a massive swing of like twelve creatures
- 11:18Speaker 2: went from his side to my side. And so he
- 11:21Speaker 2: went from this really crazy turn of oh my goodness,
- 11:24Speaker 2: how am I going to get out of Brio? How
- 11:25Speaker 2: am I going to get out of these aeronauts too? Yep,
- 11:30Speaker 2: I just body snatched everyone. And it didn't even finish there,
- 11:33Speaker 2: because then he came back and was able to go
- 11:37Speaker 2: ahead and shuffle in all of the three power creatures
- 11:41Speaker 2: or lower and so the aeronauts went back and it
- 11:45Speaker 2: just it was a It was a really fun game
- 11:47Speaker 2: because you don't typically see body snatchers playing that big
- 11:49Speaker 2: of a deal.
- 11:51Speaker 3: But you can do that in this Mars event.
- 11:56Speaker 1: That you can do so. I also saw a bunch
- 12:01Speaker 1: of body snatchers that didn't do anything. I saw a
- 12:04Speaker 1: lot of Nostilians. I myself got a nostilion and because
- 12:09Speaker 1: I was up against no board clearer, it was actually good,
- 12:14Speaker 1: even though it's not good at Narcon. But like, is
- 12:17Speaker 1: this where we're headed? Meaning fewer cards per set? Are
- 12:26Speaker 1: the rares no longer going to feel that rare? Like
- 12:30Speaker 1: you just always get them like the uncommons? I mean
- 12:36Speaker 1: I don't, I don't do we? Yeah, we know all
- 12:38Speaker 1: the cards? How many were there? Thirty eight? There are
- 12:45Speaker 1: three and eight, three and six cards plus the really
- 12:51Speaker 1: oh no sorry which now you're talking just the Civil
- 12:55Speaker 1: War pods.
- 12:56Speaker 3: There were eighty seven cards.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, so this was a rare A small set, yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 1: like very small.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Well I will tell you as I'm on the okay,
- 13:08Speaker 2: in the background, able to see how many cards there
- 13:10Speaker 2: are quickly, So thank you to you. Okay with this
- 13:13Speaker 2: with uh Mars Civil War events, there's still cards that
- 13:16Speaker 2: I have not seen.
- 13:18Speaker 3: And I've played in.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I think at this point we're at the fifth or
- 13:22Speaker 2: six Civil War events that I've participated in.
- 13:27Speaker 1: What have you not seen? Uh?
- 13:31Speaker 2: I just I have not seen chuff ape. Okay, I'm
- 13:34Speaker 2: not really worried about that disappearance Grahmed Grondel. So again,
- 13:41Speaker 2: you have a couple of items there. I have not
- 13:44Speaker 2: seen the newm the Diplomat.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Yes you have. In the very first one.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Lose lose all your amber destroying enemy non Mars creature
- 13:58Speaker 2: for each amber.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Lost this way, sure you, I'm pretty sure Week one
- 14:02Speaker 1: we had one of those.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't remember that.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I actually had a really fun pod with ether Spider
- 14:09Speaker 2: and I was going ahead and rocking Sorian. So Sorian from.
- 14:18Speaker 4: Well had the same time.
- 14:21Speaker 3: All right, go ahead, you talk about it the man.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Well I had Spider and what's it called? Epic epic real?
- 14:31Speaker 4: I never fired it, though.
- 14:33Speaker 3: I did.
- 14:34Speaker 2: I I had multiple games where I was able to
- 14:37Speaker 2: burst pretty high and that was really the difference, which
- 14:40Speaker 2: was a lot of fun. I mean it, you can play,
- 14:48Speaker 2: you do the best that you can. I lost, You're
- 14:50Speaker 2: putting a lot of amber out and that spinning. But
- 14:53Speaker 2: I also thought that crushing charge played really well for me.
- 14:57Speaker 2: So destroy each creature with power for or lower game
- 15:00Speaker 2: one chain specifically when I faced the third game against
- 15:04Speaker 2: our good friend David Wookie.
- 15:06Speaker 3: You got to play David as well.
- 15:07Speaker 2: What was David going ahead and sporting? Because we faced
- 15:10Speaker 2: in the final three to three match.
- 15:12Speaker 1: He had a double banner iron ex banner with the
- 15:17Speaker 1: minute man YEP and an exosk a minute man. Every
- 15:22Speaker 1: time he fought Yep.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And exoskeleton, so they were elusive if you tried to
- 15:28Speaker 2: fight them, and so yes that uh, every time he fought,
- 15:32Speaker 2: it would put out another minute man.
- 15:36Speaker 1: And they had Yeah that really good. So I think
- 15:41Speaker 1: I will tell you the.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Only thing that saved me in that game was catch
- 15:45Speaker 2: and release. He had two thirds of his deck out
- 15:48Speaker 2: started my creature control. Two things I learned in this event, right,
- 15:56Speaker 2: woe sucks, I despise like me and Winds of Exchange.
- 16:07Speaker 2: As excited as I was for it, Me and Winds
- 16:10Speaker 2: of Exchange.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Did not get along at all. Just nothing about Winds
- 16:17Speaker 1: of Exchange got along with the Wookie. Therefore, Winds of
- 16:21Speaker 1: Exchange sucks.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Okay, Well for you, Walk, I completely disagree with you.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I love Wins an fun.
- 16:30Speaker 2: I've actually gone back to playing Wins and Winds will
- 16:33Speaker 2: spit out a lot of creatures and gr has some
- 16:37Speaker 2: real issues with that. So I found some success lately
- 16:41Speaker 2: playing Wins and being able to look at it. But
- 16:43Speaker 2: you do have to have you.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I have found some success also playing Winds of Death.
- 16:49Speaker 1: There you go, Yes, number two. There are significantly more
- 16:55Speaker 1: more casuals than I give anything credit for. True, it's good.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I mean, so David again, our good friend David. Nothing
- 17:07Speaker 1: against him, but he was a confessed kitchen table player.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Now how long is key Forge? But it was a
- 17:16Speaker 1: five year six years twenty nineteen, I want to say,
- 17:19Speaker 1: right or early twenty eighteen, late twenty eighteen. I think
- 17:23Speaker 1: late twenty eighteen, early twenty nineteen. It's been a long
- 17:26Speaker 1: time since I've had to explain the rule of six.
- 17:30Speaker 1: But that was something that happened this weekend. I mean,
- 17:34Speaker 1: that's good. You're teaching somebody new. Yeah, it was great.
- 17:39Speaker 1: So I was just and he's like, yeah, because he
- 17:41Speaker 1: had a bunch of minute men. Me being dumb, Wookie,
- 17:44Speaker 1: my why suck at key Forge moment of the week.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I should know that Woa can spit out creatures. Maybe
- 17:51Speaker 1: don't discard your creature control. Never mind, well he's pitching
- 17:55Speaker 1: both of them.
- 17:57Speaker 2: But regardless of that throwing this, so the rebels won.
- 18:01Speaker 3: It was you, you and sheep both. When I had
- 18:03Speaker 3: to tank it for us.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Man, I went one and two. It was not a
- 18:10Speaker 1: great event for me, but again, if I would have
- 18:12Speaker 1: had some grim reminders, might have been a different story.
- 18:16Speaker 1: But either way, he fought with two minute men to
- 18:20Speaker 1: kill some things on the board and then was like,
- 18:22Speaker 1: then I reap with the rest of my minute men
- 18:24Speaker 1: for nine and I'm like, whoa, whoa, no no no no, no, no, no,
- 18:28Speaker 1: no no, can't do that. So that was an interesting
- 18:35Speaker 1: experience for me. Anyways, It's been a long time since
- 18:38Speaker 1: I've had to explain the rule of six or rules
- 18:41Speaker 1: really to anyone, because normally it's me asking Sheep, how
- 18:44Speaker 1: does this card play?
- 18:46Speaker 2: Okay, I'm glad we had eighteen. I was glad to
- 18:49Speaker 2: see the variety of individuals. David also came out with
- 18:54Speaker 2: his daughter and those are those are things that we
- 18:56Speaker 2: want to see, we want to see the community. Having
- 18:58Speaker 2: eighteen people in an event is huge, So it was
- 19:02Speaker 2: a blast to hang out with everyone.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Again.
- 19:04Speaker 2: That's what I look forward to for celebration, That's what
- 19:06Speaker 2: I look forward to at the Vaults. Being able to
- 19:07Speaker 2: play larger groups of people, So it was great to
- 19:10Speaker 2: see in more of our local area.
- 19:13Speaker 1: All right, moving, do you think those folks, any of
- 19:18Speaker 1: them will come back for regular stuff or you think
- 19:21Speaker 1: you'll just see them for op events whatever GG gets
- 19:26Speaker 1: around to doing that. I will have to say I've
- 19:31Speaker 1: seen more people come out for this event than in
- 19:35Speaker 1: a lot of events since GGI has taken over. Yeah,
- 19:40Speaker 1: this has been I mean this Mys event. Yeah, I've
- 19:45Speaker 1: I've heavily enjoyed it. Right, but for whatever reason, like
- 19:51Speaker 1: I mean, we have two new people that literally have
- 19:54Speaker 1: come out and been now pretty regularly coming out.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yeah, they joined our local They even came down to say.
- 20:01Speaker 1: The Mars event. Sweet, So more of these these were great? Yeah,
- 20:07Speaker 1: get to it, Josh the We also ran our second
- 20:14Speaker 1: Mars event this this last weekend, uh and it was
- 20:18Speaker 1: a ton of fun elders one as this shop and
- 20:25Speaker 1: long Live the Empire, and so it was. It was
- 20:30Speaker 1: a good time. It was a good time. We didn't
- 20:32Speaker 1: advertise nearly as much, so it was a smaller group,
- 20:35Speaker 1: but it had to be because we had fewer dex
- 20:37Speaker 1: left or fewer podds left. But it was fun. Wrong,
- 20:41Speaker 1: I p what's that wrong? I p.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Well, whatever, yes, I know, never mind.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's still the wrong never mind, still not
- 20:56Speaker 1: the correct one, but I guess just a real quick
- 21:00Speaker 1: FYI for those out there. We do have celebrations coming up.
- 21:05Speaker 1: The new version of the Rules seventeen point four is
- 21:08Speaker 1: out in the boot kind of hanging out there. This
- 21:13Speaker 1: update does include various changes, such as carter ratas for
- 21:16Speaker 1: a key, forge ember Sky's card do a misprint. Oh,
- 21:22Speaker 1: I haven't actually clicked this, says I thought we were
- 21:23Speaker 1: talking about cards, so I haven't actually looked at this yet. Yeah,
- 21:26Speaker 1: I said, there's a carter rota for well, butcher this
- 21:30Speaker 1: one our sinomometer, our sinomometer.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the good stuff right there.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Yeah, so that that's been misprinted. To make sure you
- 21:41Speaker 1: go read that. And new FAQ updates for Overload, Greeking, Tola,
- 21:46Speaker 1: Spadpenny House, Resolve as much as you can, and Ambulution.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I have not read the new Master rule book, but
- 21:55Speaker 1: I am interested in the Resolve as much as you can.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Anybody read it now. And then also updated the discard
- 22:05Speaker 1: discarding cards and out of play zones, shuffle and stun.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Well.
- 22:11Speaker 1: The house, I go interesting. The house is the house
- 22:15Speaker 1: icon that I'm assuming they added due to what we
- 22:19Speaker 1: saw come out uh in ember Sky speaking of ember Sky's.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Well, we were actually talking about this on Tuesday when
- 22:26Speaker 2: you weren't there.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Man, yeah, I was. I had to worry. I had
- 22:28Speaker 1: to do the whole work thing because corporate came to town.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I guess this is gonna be a once a month
- 22:33Speaker 1: thing that I'm now told because now my corporate's all
- 22:38Speaker 1: wanting to be involved in stuff. I liked it before,
- 22:40Speaker 1: but anyways, oh all right, all right, there's some guy
- 22:43Speaker 1: I'm looking through this down there's some good stuff from
- 22:45Speaker 1: the real book update. It's uh so while you while.
- 22:48Speaker 2: You while you peruse for a second, I thought it
- 22:51Speaker 2: was interesting. Lookar was talking about the house icon, and
- 22:53Speaker 2: I didn't really think about it. Yes, we're going to
- 22:55Speaker 2: have a whole house that can then basically are putting
- 22:58Speaker 2: the house icon in one of the five slots for
- 23:02Speaker 2: your individual card, which will restrict the card. It also
- 23:08Speaker 2: is interesting how it kind of changes. You know, you're
- 23:11Speaker 2: going top down, so the cards will look slightly different.
- 23:17Speaker 2: So nothing major there, but it was something I hadn't
- 23:20Speaker 2: necessarily thought about and could potentially cause issues for our
- 23:25Speaker 2: actual system to be able to keep everything organized if
- 23:29Speaker 2: it was running off of what I think it is.
- 23:31Speaker 3: So we'll have to see. It'll be interesting.
- 23:33Speaker 1: But ember Sky's is being released ELONK got his today. Now.
- 23:38Speaker 1: One announcement I do want to make if you want
- 23:40Speaker 1: to be a part of the z scoring for ember Sky's,
- 23:46Speaker 1: we're starting that next week. We got to get kind
- 23:49Speaker 1: of like in front of this because we have ember
- 23:51Speaker 1: Skys to score. We have token's a change to score,
- 23:58Speaker 1: and do we have to score? We have to rescore mmm, right,
- 24:04Speaker 1: or we have to score.
- 24:04Speaker 4: We really have like twenty seven new cards to score
- 24:07Speaker 4: or something. Not that much work there.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Okay, so but still three sets to score in a
- 24:13Speaker 1: very short amount of time. Good thing we got started tonight. Guys,
- 24:17Speaker 1: well go to Betty bye. I don't know what your
- 24:21Speaker 1: guys' obsession is. Like, we gotta score against all We
- 24:24Speaker 1: do have to our cards corner to show that scores cards.
- 24:29Speaker 1: What that's like. We like have this Patreon thing and
- 24:34Speaker 1: we're like, yeah, you have this chat, but you got
- 24:36Speaker 1: this cool website you could like look up decks and
- 24:38Speaker 1: get these cool scores and stuff, and you're like whatever, no, no, no, no,
- 24:42Speaker 1: it's not a whatever thing. Number one. I wanted to
- 24:44Speaker 1: make sure that like people, if they wanted to be
- 24:47Speaker 1: here and have input and say and all that fun stuff,
- 24:50Speaker 1: like they had the ability to, We're just like we
- 24:53Speaker 1: should score cards tonight and then we're just gonna run
- 24:56Speaker 1: with it. I don't think that was all necessarily fair.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Like usual, it has changed at least three times. I
- 25:01Speaker 2: don't even try anymore. Like I had a nice outline.
- 25:05Speaker 1: So next week, whatever, get ready for some sheep say.
- 25:09Speaker 4: It, art's going.
- 25:13Speaker 1: What's the first house we're going to do? Rob No,
- 25:18Speaker 1: I'm wrong, No, thank you, that's right, and come across
- 25:22Speaker 1: as well as I wanted it to. But well, we'll
- 25:24Speaker 1: get it. We'll get it in post. So make sure
- 25:27Speaker 1: you check out the new book. But uh, prophetic.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Drascour was talking about some sweet new rules. Man.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Yeah, so some clarifications. Okay, what do we got? So
- 25:41Speaker 1: all right, so so far I'm just looking through Johns notes.
- 25:46Speaker 1: So these some bonus icons, right, So first they clarify
- 25:51Speaker 1: that for the purpose of other card effects, bonus icons
- 25:54Speaker 1: are considered cardabilities. Right now, I think this is something
- 25:58Speaker 1: that we've all sort of been playing this way, Like
- 26:01Speaker 1: bonus effects are considered cardabilities. What does that mean? Bonus
- 26:06Speaker 1: icons bonus are considered cardabilities, right, So like we we've
- 26:09Speaker 1: been playing this way, like the Cursed Relic that can
- 26:13Speaker 1: only be discarded through like card effects. We've been playing
- 26:18Speaker 1: if you had like a Legacy one, you could you
- 26:21Speaker 1: could discard it with the discard pip, right, So they
- 26:25Speaker 1: clarified that, Yes, that's how it works, so that's good.
- 26:29Speaker 1: But then they also gave us more on how the
- 26:33Speaker 1: highest bonus icons work, which we needed because the icons
- 26:38Speaker 1: bonus icons previously it always resolved top down, so like,
- 26:42Speaker 1: how does that play into like using cards, Like we
- 26:47Speaker 1: just assumed that it would work differently and and yes
- 26:51Speaker 1: that is true, right, So it is it does not
- 26:54Speaker 1: resolve with other card bonus icons. When it's played, it
- 26:59Speaker 1: gains that house during the generation process, considered to be
- 27:03Speaker 1: of both houses. So uh we it is what we assumed, right,
- 27:13Speaker 1: But it's good that they clarified that. That's another thing.
- 27:17Speaker 1: They added the word fate to the list of things
- 27:21Speaker 1: that you could do with a card, which is interesting
- 27:25Speaker 1: right when we get to Prothetic Visions spoilers later on. Oh,
- 27:32Speaker 1: by the way, they added icons for Prothetic Visions more
- 27:36Speaker 1: mutation as well as tokena chains and ember Sky. So
- 27:40Speaker 1: the more mutation I have its own set icon. Yeah yeah,
- 27:45Speaker 1: that's probably more for alliance so you can easily scan
- 27:48Speaker 1: through a deck and make sure that they're all the same. Yeah,
- 27:52Speaker 1: well it's which you know, would hint that more mutation
- 27:59Speaker 1: cannot be a lie into massimitation. That was that was
- 28:02Speaker 1: already stated. Sure, that's another thing us here. I thought
- 28:09Speaker 1: it was it was already stated that MS was its
- 28:12Speaker 1: own set and could only be allianced with other Mmm.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Yes this was stated, but it is now directly in
- 28:19Speaker 2: the rules. I thought the leaves play section what they
- 28:22Speaker 2: added for red words ability and then its effect can interact.
- 28:26Speaker 3: With another zone was interesting.
- 28:28Speaker 2: So when a card leaves played, is it is always
- 28:30Speaker 2: put into its owners appropriate out of play zone unless
- 28:34Speaker 2: a card ability explicitly states that his effect can interact
- 28:37Speaker 2: with another zone. So I know some people were confused
- 28:41Speaker 2: on that one, but I think most people are playing
- 28:43Speaker 2: that pretty straightforward.
- 28:45Speaker 4: Well, this is they're trying to clean up their ruling
- 28:48Speaker 4: about things going to weird play Zellens. Yes, the inbductor
- 28:52Speaker 4: cards ont a mars and unless it specifically says it
- 28:56Speaker 4: goes to a non standard out of play Zellen, it
- 28:59Speaker 4: goes to its standard because people still tried up of
- 29:04Speaker 4: duck wrong on occasion.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Do weird things, Yeah, well in the Mars events that
- 29:10Speaker 2: to Rickson, Dell, Martian scientists three power Elusive. At the
- 29:13Speaker 2: end of your turn, you may put a creature from
- 29:15Speaker 2: play face down under Jackson del after each for each
- 29:19Speaker 2: card to under Trucks and Dell make a token creature.
- 29:22Speaker 2: What was interesting is it's a great little essentially capture.
- 29:26Speaker 2: It gets around a whole lot of items. I actually
- 29:29Speaker 2: really like this card. Multiples most of these cards. Yeah,
- 29:33Speaker 2: if you get multiples of it, it is brutal, absolutely brutal.
- 29:38Speaker 1: But where do.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Your cards go afterwards?
- 29:41Speaker 2: We assumed, And I think this clears it up a
- 29:43Speaker 2: little bit, just going back to your discard pile.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Uh So. Another thing I thought was interesting was that
- 29:51Speaker 1: it clarified discarding multiple cards. So it says when if
- 29:58Speaker 1: a billion acquires, a player diss card multiple cards either
- 30:01Speaker 1: from hand or top of deck, the cards are discarded
- 30:04Speaker 1: one at a time. If it bill requires both players
- 30:08Speaker 1: to discard multiple cards from either hand or top of deck,
- 30:10Speaker 1: the active player decides what player discards first. Once that
- 30:14Speaker 1: player finishes discarding cards, the other player discards cards, so
- 30:18Speaker 1: it's it's not simultaneous. And therefore you can like order
- 30:28Speaker 1: the discard or whatever based on what flips off the
- 30:30Speaker 1: top of your deck. Right, it just happens one at
- 30:32Speaker 1: a time, Right, So that was clarified.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a lot of messy stuff with graph effects
- 30:41Speaker 4: along with recklessness and when a deck shuffles and when
- 30:47Speaker 4: cards hit the discard for each player, so things and
- 30:51Speaker 4: the way they interact, there's a lot of potentially missing
- 30:54Speaker 4: messy situations. So this clarifies that.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Did you guys go ahead and see purged in that
- 31:02Speaker 2: new paragraph that was added there.
- 31:04Speaker 1: No, won't you read it to us? All right?
- 31:07Speaker 2: Basically, the new paragraph says, if a card that creates
- 31:10Speaker 2: an out of play zone leaves play, any pending effects
- 31:14Speaker 2: from the card leaving play are resolved, then any cards
- 31:18Speaker 2: that would remain in that zone are put in their
- 31:20Speaker 2: owner's discard pile.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Wait, read that again.
- 31:26Speaker 2: If a card that creates an out of play zone
- 31:29Speaker 2: leaves play, any pending effects from the card leaving play
- 31:32Speaker 2: are resolved, then any cards that would remain in that.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Zone are put in their owner's discard pile.
- 31:38Speaker 4: But This is a clarification for things like delve, stuff
- 31:44Speaker 4: that ends up under that silly logos card Jar Google's
- 31:51Speaker 4: Jar Google, and when it's moved to an out of
- 31:55Speaker 4: play zone that isn't defined, like when it's bounced a
- 31:58Speaker 4: hand and the card goes to discard hard. Now the
- 32:02Speaker 4: other the code of one where you ate a creature
- 32:06Speaker 4: and passed it over to your opponent and then they
- 32:09Speaker 4: can eat a creature with it.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Or like Plan ten. If you blow up the Plan ten,
- 32:16Speaker 1: what happens all the remaining cards under it?
- 32:18Speaker 4: Yeah, Sherman and weird facts like perging Sherman from play
- 32:24Speaker 4: yep is clear. Yeah, Cauldron is a good one. Stuff
- 32:30Speaker 4: that's going to go under things like Infomancer.
- 32:32Speaker 3: The new Vault, Genetic Vault yep.
- 32:38Speaker 4: So it's just clarifying that. So it's easy because there's
- 32:41Speaker 4: a lot of those effects rolling around.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Now, does this have any impact.
- 32:49Speaker 3: With the combo that we see for mom.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Nope, Yeah, I don't think so. Yeah, that one is
- 33:02Speaker 1: still weird to me.
- 33:04Speaker 3: It is very weird.
- 33:05Speaker 1: So so here's one that's mark. Oh, just the way
- 33:11Speaker 1: that it can't find the thing to purge it. I'm like,
- 33:14Speaker 1: it's right there. I see it. Can't you find it?
- 33:18Speaker 1: Like I don't. It's weird because it's it's it's a
- 33:22Speaker 1: replacement effect. Yeah, I'll tell you when you're older.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Sure, well, but you're getting you're getting around the negative
- 33:32Speaker 2: aspect for the card. It allows you to be able
- 33:35Speaker 2: to do something that the card did not intend.
- 33:37Speaker 3: And that's why I do feel that.
- 33:38Speaker 1: You don't know what that card intended to do. Were
- 33:41Speaker 1: you when it's tad mm hmmm, yes, wookie, I was,
- 33:49Speaker 1: all right, here's a weird one. I wonder why this
- 33:52Speaker 1: is in here. If a card ability instructs a player
- 33:57Speaker 1: to unstunn a creature, each stun counter on the creature
- 34:02Speaker 1: is removed each You can have more than one.
- 34:07Speaker 4: There's also a clear rule well understand that you can't
- 34:11Speaker 4: put a second stunt token on. Uh my, My guess
- 34:17Speaker 4: is they may have the card I asked for very
- 34:19Speaker 4: early on where it's just gonna be like super Now
- 34:24Speaker 4: it's the guy things things like there's there is the
- 34:32Speaker 4: one card that moves all tokens from its neighbor to him.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Yeah, so if you have stunt on both your left
- 34:39Speaker 2: and right, you could potentially have the tokens coming on
- 34:41Speaker 2: the wall.
- 34:42Speaker 4: Yeah, there there are hey, there, there are a couple
- 34:45Speaker 4: of facts, and we may see more. Where you just
- 34:48Speaker 4: move tokens wholesale, ignoring what their type is, where you
- 34:53Speaker 4: could end up stacking multiple stunts in the same place.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Would then the extras just drop off? You would think that,
- 35:02Speaker 4: but there's nothing in the rules it says they drop off.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Well, but you can only have one stunt counter on.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Now you can only put one stunt counter on from stunning.
- 35:12Speaker 1: That okay, interesting, we'll go with yes.
- 35:23Speaker 3: All right?
- 35:23Speaker 1: Are we ready to move into prophetic visions? No?
- 35:27Speaker 2: I'm going to save someone on this one. The Mark
- 35:29Speaker 2: of Diss update was pretty fun.
- 35:31Speaker 1: What was the market update?
- 35:33Speaker 3: I play Mark of.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Diss and resolve its play ability on a creature that
- 35:36Speaker 2: has a house bonus icon, meaning now, yes, creatures can
- 35:40Speaker 2: belong to two houses if the creature is not destroyed.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Which house must my opponent choose? You can choose either
- 35:47Speaker 2: of them, either either of the two houses that's printed.
- 35:51Speaker 3: There, You go pretty straightforward.
- 35:54Speaker 1: All right, Now, are we ready for prophetic visions?
- 35:59Speaker 4: And you are all both the main would I need
- 36:02Speaker 4: to put my how do I emout zs?
- 36:05Speaker 1: Nobody cares anything prophetic visions? We had an article come
- 36:13Speaker 1: out about it, and I'm gonna guess Josh wrote this
- 36:17Speaker 1: article Why, well, much can be seen in the Embertinged
- 36:22Speaker 1: future if one knows where and how to look. Embertinge
- 36:29Speaker 1: seems like a joshuad. That's a Josh thing. Yep, that
- 36:32Speaker 1: seems like a word you come up with. It's an
- 36:35Speaker 1: article came out September sixth, twenty twenty four. The Crucible
- 36:38Speaker 1: continues to evolve as new discoveries are made. Welcome to
- 36:41Speaker 1: key Forge Prophetic Vision, the ninth official set for the
- 36:44Speaker 1: key Forage universe. In this set, we're introducing a new
- 36:47Speaker 1: card type called a prophecy. They will each foretell a
- 36:53Speaker 1: fate that may or may not come to pass with
- 36:57Speaker 1: unpredictable consequences. What these prophecies have in store for the
- 37:02Speaker 1: Crucible is being closely studied by every philosopher and prognostic.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Prog is a prognosticator or a prognosticator. Prognosticator right for
- 37:12Speaker 1: the darkest catacombs. They're not pregnant, or maybe they are.
- 37:15Speaker 1: I don't know. Well, is it never mind catacombs to
- 37:18Speaker 1: the loftiest observatories. But as the wise say, fate is inevitable.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Each prophetic vision next will include several prophecy cards, each
- 37:28Speaker 1: with a condition printed on it. Once the condition has
- 37:31Speaker 1: been fulfilled, the active player reveals each card under the
- 37:34Speaker 1: prophecy and will resolve each fate effect of those cards
- 37:41Speaker 1: in order of their choosing. The active player makes all
- 37:45Speaker 1: decisions related to the fate stability resolution. What are you doing?
- 37:49Speaker 1: You're making your cameras on? Now? Oh you have cameras
- 37:53Speaker 1: because he's got the process. We are getting to you.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Just hurt the camera off. We're good. I know what
- 38:02Speaker 1: I'm doing. I've been here before. Each each turn, the
- 38:06Speaker 1: active player may us off, but of course he is
- 38:11Speaker 1: each player. Each turn, the active player may place one
- 38:14Speaker 1: card from their hand under one prophecy card they own.
- 38:18Speaker 1: The game mechanic is still undergoing testing and developments, so
- 38:21Speaker 1: the specifics may change drastically prior to the set's release,
- 38:25Speaker 1: but we are excited about the possibilities and surprise factors
- 38:28Speaker 1: this design is adding to KeyForge. As with all keyboardge sets,
- 38:33Speaker 1: we will leverage forge Fire. We will leverage forge Fire
- 38:37Speaker 1: and create new and exciting experiences, keeping players excited to
- 38:40Speaker 1: see what the next pack will hold. Players might even
- 38:44Speaker 1: have a chance to glimpse into the future of the Crucible.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Backers receiving stretch goals of the key Forge ember Sky's
- 38:51Speaker 1: Game Found campaign will receive a preview card from the
- 38:54Speaker 1: exciting set. Finally, our cons will be able to call
- 38:57Speaker 1: on the aid of their houses and key Forge prophetic
- 39:00Speaker 1: visions with more secrets to be found. Your shirt is off, sir.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I impressed number one see the legs. So number one,
- 39:17Speaker 1: number one, as e walk is still showing us his chest.
- 39:22Speaker 1: One real thing that I found interesting about it. So
- 39:28Speaker 1: I'm guessing all the sets are are, all the houses
- 39:30Speaker 1: are at the bottom. We got dis logo sanctum, sorry
- 39:35Speaker 1: in shadows Redeems you just want? Are you peeling at
- 39:41Speaker 1: my cheerios today? What's to do? And I'm tamed and
- 39:45Speaker 1: yes Redeemed. If you watch closely, every so often the
- 39:52Speaker 1: Sanctum turns into the Redeemed logo. So maybe they're both
- 39:56Speaker 1: in there. So let's go through one of these prophecy
- 40:01Speaker 1: cards right off the bat. They have, they've They're now
- 40:04Speaker 1: doing something I've only been asking for for months years.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Who knows how long we are getting extended art going
- 40:12Speaker 1: all the way to the edges and now This one
- 40:19Speaker 1: is called Expect the Unexpected. It is a prophecy after
- 40:24Speaker 1: your opponent shuffles their discard pile into their deck during
- 40:27Speaker 1: their turn fulfill Expect the Unexpected. Each turn, the owner
- 40:32Speaker 1: of this prophecy may put one card from their hand
- 40:34Speaker 1: face down underneath it. So do we just create another
- 40:38Speaker 1: kind of pseudo archive with prophecies?
- 40:40Speaker 4: This is like like supposedly you're gonna be able to
- 40:44Speaker 4: pick your prophecies. We're not sure all that works exactly yet,
- 40:47Speaker 4: but I just see this as like a free grater
- 40:50Speaker 4: rocks tech from the start of the game. Bad card gone,
- 40:53Speaker 4: bad card gone, Yes, bad card, and then uh, and
- 40:58Speaker 4: then if you note this one and the other one
- 41:01Speaker 4: that we've been spoiled, these are going to trigger on
- 41:05Speaker 4: your opponent's urn. So these, right now, these prophecies are
- 41:10Speaker 4: going to have really lamb effects like gain one amber
- 41:15Speaker 4: that draw one card.
- 41:17Speaker 1: That's the one I saw.
- 41:20Speaker 4: What'd you see for the prophecies?
- 41:22Speaker 1: I saw some pretty detrimental stuff, Like I haven't actually
- 41:26Speaker 1: seen them. I thought it was all as I should.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Probably it was like lose three ember like it was.
- 41:34Speaker 4: You put this under there.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Then because your opponents it triggers on their turn. So
- 41:40Speaker 1: they read the text and say, oh shit, I'm losing Ember.
- 41:43Speaker 1: So all this like bad ship putting under these cards
- 41:47Speaker 1: that it's yeah.
- 41:48Speaker 4: How I read this stuff?
- 41:50Speaker 1: But okay, whatever I saw on whatever spoiler channel looked
- 41:56Speaker 1: to me like it was like when your opponent or
- 42:00Speaker 1: is a key, like do all this bad ship, and
- 42:03Speaker 1: it was kind of interesting.
- 42:06Speaker 4: This better be the most powerful enemy creature captures half
- 42:12Speaker 4: of your amber. This is a fake card, So I
- 42:16Speaker 4: put this under card that says.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Well, fake cards are different from prophecy cards, are they not? No,
- 42:22Speaker 1: Fate's gonna be what triggers each an active player may
- 42:27Speaker 1: place one card from their hand of the prophecy. Okay,
- 42:31Speaker 1: so each Prophetic Vision decks will include several prophecy cards,
- 42:34Speaker 1: each with a condition printed on it. Once the condition
- 42:37Speaker 1: has fulfilled, the active player reveals each card of the
- 42:40Speaker 1: prophecy and must resolve each fate. So each card underneath
- 42:44Speaker 1: the prophecy is a fate.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Wait, and it says who's gonna do what?
- 42:48Speaker 2: Heir?
- 42:48Speaker 1: Each Prophetic Vision decks will include several Prophecy cards, each
- 42:52Speaker 1: with a condition printed on it. Once the condition has
- 42:55Speaker 1: been fulfilled, the active air reveals each card under the
- 43:02Speaker 1: prophecy and must resolve each fate.
- 43:07Speaker 2: So this is so in this case, once you shuffle,
- 43:11Speaker 2: so for.
- 43:12Speaker 1: For expect the Unexpected ship going to I'm going to
- 43:16Speaker 1: every turn, I'm going to put a card under. So
- 43:19Speaker 1: this is just more filter, more fitting card underneath Expect
- 43:23Speaker 1: the Unexpected shuffles their discard pile into their deck. I
- 43:31Speaker 1: have to now resolve all the cards under expect the unexpected.
- 43:38Speaker 1: How is that going to work? Because we weren't we
- 43:40Speaker 1: told that, Like things can't trigger on my opponent's turn. Well,
- 43:44Speaker 1: but what you're saying is basically you're seting cards from
- 43:46Speaker 1: your deck to trigger for them.
- 43:49Speaker 4: They're going to make the decisions. But yes, I don't.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Change, so it is weird. But like all the fate
- 44:01Speaker 1: stuff I've been seeing, it's all negative.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Yeah, it comes to player reveals each and must resolve
- 44:07Speaker 4: each of the fake cards and the order they're choosing.
- 44:11Speaker 4: But like, even though they're revealing them, like they're still
- 44:15Speaker 4: my cards, So I don't understand, why.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Do they get to choose what order they resolve in?
- 44:23Speaker 1: As well? That's what sounds like they're the active player
- 44:26Speaker 1: just like cold it should like oh no, it says
- 44:28Speaker 1: they get to choose, will never resolve on my opponent's turn.
- 44:33Speaker 2: No, but that's where it's different. But I'm saying the
- 44:35Speaker 2: idea of stacking culture and we hit three, and once
- 44:37Speaker 2: you hit three, then you resolve it. The only difference
- 44:40Speaker 2: here is you're going to continue to place it under
- 44:42Speaker 2: the prophecy. So I see that mechanic already in place,
- 44:46Speaker 2: and then once it has met its fulfilled criteria, then
- 44:50Speaker 2: it goes ahead and basically leverages itself. So I do
- 44:54Speaker 2: think that this has some background on other cards.
- 44:56Speaker 3: That we've seen. It does appear to be mostly negative
- 45:00Speaker 3: from what I've seen online.
- 45:01Speaker 4: We'll take a peek.
- 45:02Speaker 1: I haven't been looking in, but we'll look more into
- 45:04Speaker 1: this as we as we kind of go further. Yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 1: I think this has potential promise, right like you both
- 45:10Speaker 1: use it, use it for efficiency. You can decide based
- 45:15Speaker 1: on my damate do I put junk that I don't
- 45:18Speaker 1: care about under there, or do I really try to
- 45:20Speaker 1: put the right fate stuff under there to hurt my opponent.
- 45:24Speaker 1: I think it could be interesting. This is exactly this
- 45:30Speaker 1: card as I'm looking at right now, is almost exactly
- 45:35Speaker 1: the same kind of problems as we were discussing happened
- 45:39Speaker 1: with dark tidings is prophecies and prophecy effects are only
- 45:45Speaker 1: in prophetic visions decks, So my code of deck has
- 45:51Speaker 1: no way to interact with this stuff at all, correct.
- 45:55Speaker 4: Except when it happens. It happens, right, So if the
- 46:01Speaker 4: cards in the for the value of the fate cards
- 46:08Speaker 4: of the fate effect to be good enough to matter
- 46:11Speaker 4: in the game, it means the average value of the
- 46:13Speaker 4: card has to be lower elsewhere Otherwise it's getting out
- 46:18Speaker 4: of hand, right If the cards are average strength with
- 46:25Speaker 4: historical printing, but now they also have this additional fate
- 46:29Speaker 4: mechanic that only they have access to. That is a
- 46:33Speaker 4: level that's turned up that you can't It is hard
- 46:39Speaker 4: to build for that beam, even when old sets are
- 46:44Speaker 4: coming into it and have zero way. Like you saw
- 46:46Speaker 4: how they try to make it. So other old decks
- 46:48Speaker 4: interacted with the tide and it was a disaster. Not
- 46:51Speaker 4: a disaster, it was wholly unsatisfying.
- 46:55Speaker 2: The play testing on this is going to have to
- 46:58Speaker 2: be crucial, and we all the background on that, so
- 47:01Speaker 2: it's not high hopes.
- 47:03Speaker 3: But the end result is you're seeing some power creep,
- 47:05Speaker 3: but in a different way.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Go ahead, I mean it's yeah, I mean the play
- 47:08Speaker 1: is an apart in right, the stealing or stealing? What
- 47:11Speaker 1: am I saying? The the balance I think it'll be.
- 47:17Speaker 1: But like you can put fate on good cards and
- 47:21Speaker 1: it creates an interesting decision, Like if you have we
- 47:25Speaker 1: just thinking about older sets, like an eddie basically an
- 47:27Speaker 1: eddie with like an interesting fate power. Now you have
- 47:30Speaker 1: to decide do I play the eddie because that's real
- 47:32Speaker 1: good or do I play the interesting fate power? It
- 47:35Speaker 1: might be good, you know, like I think that's interesting.
- 47:38Speaker 4: You're not wrong from a design point of view, but
- 47:41Speaker 4: this is in a competitive card game where we're in
- 47:47Speaker 4: theory expecting things to not just totally creep out the
- 47:51Speaker 4: other sets completely. Although we could go with current trend,
- 47:56Speaker 4: which is this is going to you know, Whoe was
- 48:00Speaker 4: super strong and then gr negated woe and well I'm not,
- 48:07Speaker 4: and then this is going to negate everything.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Let's go through some of these well, number one, you walk,
- 48:12Speaker 1: do you want to share yours or do you want
- 48:13Speaker 1: to go through the ones that are in our discord first?
- 48:16Speaker 1: Probably want to share yours first. No, why do you
- 48:18Speaker 1: have your back on well?
- 48:21Speaker 3: Because I took my pants off.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Oh okay, all right, probletic.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Visions, you're here. This is this was delivered today, so.
- 48:34Speaker 1: You've not opened this. This is live.
- 48:36Speaker 3: I'm literally opening it right now.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Wow, right, all right, there we go.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Uh, sweet sweet art here.
- 48:45Speaker 3: We haven note from g and.
- 48:50Speaker 2: All right, so I have an untamed preview card.
- 48:53Speaker 1: All right, that's not what we've seen from our discord yet.
- 48:56Speaker 3: Little Mancy, I have a local the camera. I haven't
- 49:04Speaker 3: duck superb duck.
- 49:05Speaker 1: We've seen duck ducks.
- 49:08Speaker 3: And shadows hoodwinked.
- 49:10Speaker 1: We've seen hone wig two.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Okay, so let's get into Lipplemancy and then you guys
- 49:15Speaker 2: can get going.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Yeah, we can go through some we can go through
- 49:19Speaker 1: some of the fake cards because yeah, I don't I
- 49:22Speaker 1: guess I don't understand it.
- 49:26Speaker 2: All right, So there's our lancy, which is us. I mean,
- 49:30Speaker 2: we have to really describe this. This is untamed artifact
- 49:34Speaker 2: power and uh there is some sweet red stones here
- 49:40Speaker 2: and you got to be like a witch.
- 49:42Speaker 4: Some describe it art podcast.
- 49:44Speaker 3: Hey, we go ahead and have fun.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Cards, have art.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's.
- 49:50Speaker 4: Come see our spoiler channel later and you can look
- 49:53Speaker 4: at this card.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Yep.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Uh, so much can be gained from internal reflection, sheep action,
- 49:59Speaker 2: reveal the top part of your deck. If the revealed
- 50:01Speaker 2: card belongs to the active house, discard it in game
- 50:04Speaker 2: two so amber generation.
- 50:10Speaker 1: So ye, expected value often is less than a number.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Okay, And how often are you going to be because
- 50:20Speaker 2: it's an action, you're going to have to be coming
- 50:22Speaker 2: back to it consistently, which puts it, you know, six
- 50:25Speaker 2: times in your side if it's getting early five times?
- 50:29Speaker 3: Probably not a high efficiency.
- 50:30Speaker 4: There we three average house calls three yeah.
- 50:34Speaker 2: So three, so you're gonna get it once then per game?
- 50:37Speaker 1: Yep, that's right, it's pretty okay.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Yeah, hoodwink is shadows action nice equedonn creature in the background,
- 50:47Speaker 2: shadows characters going ahead and getting thumbs up as the.
- 50:50Speaker 4: Other one is stealing.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Reveal your hand play reveal your hand for each non
- 50:55Speaker 2: shadows card revealed this way, steal one amber.
- 50:58Speaker 1: That seems decent.
- 51:00Speaker 2: It's always a pleasure to deal with such polite and
- 51:02Speaker 2: cheerful folk ac group. It's common too, and then common
- 51:10Speaker 2: Yeah that's common.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Oh that could get crazy because I mean, what an
- 51:16Speaker 1: average hand of six typically you're playing three, right, meaning
- 51:20Speaker 1: the other three are not shadows. Having two of these
- 51:23Speaker 1: steal six.
- 51:26Speaker 4: Could be there or with some draw it could be
- 51:29Speaker 4: steal a lot of.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Yeah, or you could have a modified scaling amber control.
- 51:36Speaker 3: If you have some.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Archive which locus is back, so you can basically store
- 51:40Speaker 2: it off to the side.
- 51:40Speaker 1: That is also very real thing. All right, So go ahead,
- 51:47Speaker 1: So what one?
- 51:48Speaker 4: That article was written by Luke the Visions. Oh and
- 51:53Speaker 4: I gotta say that along with the name of these cards,
- 51:57Speaker 4: we might we might be delving a little too far
- 52:02Speaker 4: into dead joke world.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Yes, I mean that is the target audience. Say the
- 52:09Speaker 1: target audience joke world. I hate to tell you sheep.
- 52:13Speaker 2: All right, duck duck superb duck is logos action.
- 52:19Speaker 3: This is uncommon.
- 52:20Speaker 4: Now you can't describe the r now that we got
- 52:22Speaker 4: some freaking.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Ducks, well there is there are ducks there, and then
- 52:28Speaker 1: another duck, and then another duck and then a metal duck.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Well the two ducks in the background, I would just
- 52:34Speaker 2: go ahead and describe it as sheep and little sheep.
- 52:38Speaker 3: They are really confused. Google there, googly eye.
- 52:43Speaker 2: They look like they should be a dead duck. And
- 52:46Speaker 2: so that's what I see there. But this is a
- 52:48Speaker 2: choose card, and so play choose one Archive two random
- 52:53Speaker 2: cards or gain to amber and at the bottom Eureka's.
- 52:59Speaker 4: Half of a year. Yeah, so, like, when are we
- 53:07Speaker 4: going to get some like launch Pad or dark one
- 53:11Speaker 4: Duck references. I mean, you're gonna that's the target arties.
- 53:16Speaker 1: But let's look at some of the other ones that
- 53:18Speaker 1: we've gotten here thus far, ruthlesser, assault, too hazardous to
- 53:24Speaker 1: for power. Uh what are they called relentless? What are
- 53:28Speaker 1: these creatures? Redemption? Right is the new house? Then he
- 53:34Speaker 1: has fate purge to random creatures from your discard pile,
- 53:39Speaker 1: shuffer your discard pile into your deck, or random cards.
- 53:43Speaker 1: I'm sorry, not random creatures, random cards. I'm interested to
- 53:48Speaker 1: see how the fake cards work. After that, we got
- 53:52Speaker 1: Ensign Clark, who has a very star Trek Voyager flashlight
- 53:58Speaker 1: on his wrist. Three power human creature. He enhanced us
- 54:03Speaker 1: with a ember and a capture pip, Fate destroy a
- 54:07Speaker 1: friendly artifact. Wait, hold on, after the active player reveals
- 54:16Speaker 1: each card under the prophecy and must resolve each fate.
- 54:20Speaker 1: I think the fates happened to the opponent's.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Okay, I agree, It's exactly opposite of how I figured
- 54:31Speaker 4: it would really be written. Yeah, that's fun. But like
- 54:36Speaker 4: so I flipped a fake card and says before a
- 54:38Speaker 4: friendly artifact, I get to pick.
- 54:39Speaker 1: What you one of my artifact.
- 54:41Speaker 4: You can have my crappy dis artifacts, because that's what
- 54:45Speaker 4: most of them are.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Or follow me here, I kill something important. I don't know.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Maybe Shadow Vasive Maneuvers is a Shadows action to give
- 54:58Speaker 1: you a pip of ember play for the room reminder
- 55:00Speaker 1: of the turn friendly creatures cannot be dealt damage or
- 55:06Speaker 1: for fate deal two damage to each friendly creature. That
- 55:09Speaker 1: card seems awfully mid no matter which way you slice it. Actually,
- 55:14Speaker 1: that cards ways awfully bad, no matter which way you
- 55:16Speaker 1: slice it.
- 55:17Speaker 4: When you bury them, you don't get the pips.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Yeah right, and then we got Further Investigations action from
- 55:26Speaker 1: Star Alliance also gives you a play destroy any number
- 55:29Speaker 1: of friendly creatures. For each creature destroyed this way, archive
- 55:33Speaker 1: a card. There you go. There's your combo. Further investigate
- 55:37Speaker 1: into was it hoodwinked wing? That's that's your combo. I
- 55:44Speaker 1: pitched my I mean, I don't know. I pitched my
- 55:47Speaker 1: hand the archive five cards. I don't know, or I
- 55:50Speaker 1: kill five creatures archive five cards. I can also don't remember,
- 55:53Speaker 1: don't forget. If there's Star Alliance creatures, I could reap
- 55:56Speaker 1: with them first too, Just saying from Sanctum, we have
- 56:01Speaker 1: the Gray Warden who has deploy after fight after reap
- 56:05Speaker 1: ready and neighboring Sanctum creature. That seems good. He seems
- 56:13Speaker 1: like a better Gray writer, does he not? Oh my god,
- 56:16Speaker 1: did you read this? Oh you shouldn't have. No, that's
- 56:19Speaker 1: what I'm getting to next, So like, why not, Oh,
- 56:26Speaker 1: you shouldn't have From dis Fate game three Mber, your
- 56:31Speaker 1: opponent of gains three Mber. But I mean that's it.
- 56:35Speaker 1: It has no effect otherwise.
- 56:37Speaker 4: Yeah, no, that's this is a horrible card.
- 56:41Speaker 1: What don't you want to but it's three Mber.
- 56:45Speaker 4: It is it's three Amber that you don't control when
- 56:48Speaker 4: it hits. Yeah, and like you're gonna you know how,
- 56:51Speaker 4: but you're gonna hate this stupid game when you like
- 56:55Speaker 4: forge your second key and then they they go to
- 56:59Speaker 4: six am because of this card and you lose and
- 57:02Speaker 4: you could do nothing about it. It is going to
- 57:04Speaker 4: be it's going to feel random and icky and ikey
- 57:10Speaker 4: you say it is, it's gonna feel icky probably, yeah, right,
- 57:16Speaker 4: But there's also like if you I mean, once you're
- 57:18Speaker 4: at ARCon level and you really know what's going on.
- 57:20Speaker 4: You know potentially what kind of fate effects they have,
- 57:24Speaker 4: and depending what card it is, you can also trigger
- 57:27Speaker 4: it and then maybe get the benefits up because you
- 57:29Speaker 4: gain the amber and then it's there for me to steal.
- 57:31Speaker 1: Because it is faced down. Okay, so you don't know
- 57:34Speaker 1: which card they put there.
- 57:36Speaker 4: Right, So it could be a whole lot of trash.
- 57:38Speaker 4: It could be, but it's just I don't know. I'm
- 57:41Speaker 4: or at flips. When you only have three number, they
- 57:44Speaker 4: give you three and you forge your third key for
- 57:45Speaker 4: the win. Yeah, I know that happens. But the random
- 57:51Speaker 4: feeling luck of key forge was about the right place
- 57:56Speaker 4: in this game, and some of the stuff that's coming
- 57:58Speaker 4: in is it's pushing too far towards the randomness, which
- 58:04Speaker 4: means any strategy you're planning feels less valuable. And I
- 58:09Speaker 4: don't know, I'm not I'm not real real confident. That's
- 58:12Speaker 4: the way I want to see things go.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Hm, well, maybe we should talk about the Embella shim Yeah,
- 58:18Speaker 1: the art on this card, because what this is like,
- 58:22Speaker 1: this is like Saturday Morning cartoon.
- 58:25Speaker 4: This is this is Disney this this guy's like, uh,
- 58:28Speaker 4: how many bad eyed minion helper to Jaafar or something.
- 58:32Speaker 3: No, no, no, how much flair do you have?
- 58:35Speaker 1: He at least.
- 58:38Speaker 4: All the housepins because he has three housepins.
- 58:42Speaker 1: It's it's perfect. Yep. He's got sorry and and sanctum
- 58:48Speaker 1: and shadows. That's all I see.
- 58:50Speaker 4: Well, there is a fore phone. You just can't tell
- 58:51Speaker 4: if it isn't. Anyway, although the joke is well delivered
- 58:58Speaker 4: in the picture, I'm saying the art style is like
- 59:05Speaker 4: Saturday Morning cartoon.
- 59:08Speaker 2: Now you now you notice the artwork.
- 59:12Speaker 4: I only noticed the artwork when it breaks that hard.
- 59:15Speaker 1: From the norm. Yeah, all right, two power in creature.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Each time an enemy creature is destroyed, steal one, fate
- 59:25Speaker 1: destroy the most powerful friendly creature. This card still seems
- 59:31Speaker 1: not great. This card seems crazy. Yeah, I'm with cheap
- 59:36Speaker 1: on this, Okay, I'm ready.
- 59:38Speaker 4: Every time I kill one of your creatures, I steal one.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Yeah. That's also. That's also assuming that there's gonna be
- 59:46Speaker 1: a ton of disk creatures on the board that I'm
- 59:48Speaker 1: able to use.
- 59:49Speaker 4: To I play this guy. I destroy creatures. He's he's
- 59:54Speaker 4: a witch. You have to answer them. You cannot. It's
- 59:58Speaker 4: gonna be painful to play futures with dealing with this problem.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: He is a fairly easy problem deal with strong Mmmm.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: He seems pretty good. All right, Well we'll have to
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: wait and see because without the rest of the set
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: it's tough to say, I think personally. But let's get
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: on to Rage Reset. Get a pip November. Every time
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: you play it, it's a logos action. Destroy any number
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: of friendly creatures. Draw one card for each creature destroyed.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: This way, fate discard your hand. When do the fates
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: pop off after it's been resolved, right or.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: Whatever random effect is making it go off?
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Then it then? Okay, I guess this could be good,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: you know, like it seems kind of like depending on
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: what your prophecy is, it could be good. It could
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: be bad because like there's a prophecy that we got
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: coming up. I think it's a little ways down. Yeah,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Forge ahead with confidence after you're appointing forge is the
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: key during their turn to fill Forge ahead of confidence.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I mean that's like right at the beginning together turn
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and they just hands gone. But it doesn't seem so
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: good with expect the unexpected, right am I?
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: Okay? Uh huh yeah, yeah, So if you it's actually
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: like sort of devastating. Then so like I'm ending my turn,
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: I draw three, I flip, I shuffle my discard.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: In okay, then then.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: You trigger those Then while I'm shuffling before I haven't
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: finished drying my hand, you trigger that effect. We start
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: flipping stuff, and then you discard the card you drew
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: and then finished drying up.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: To do I then, well, now I don't have six,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: so do I just.
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: It's the quantity of cards you draw. Not The way
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: draw works is you figure out the math for how
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: many cards you should be drawing that turn. You set
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: the number. It is basically sentenced down and you draw through.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: Because there's also the thing that draw plus one if
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: you're haunted, and if you flip becoming unhunted, you still
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: draw the plus one because your draw quantity of cards
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: is set at like the start of the drug cards.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: This seems like it's going to be an f AQ question. Weird.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Let's get a Palencia Hidden Agent three Power Dinosaur Assassin
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: destroyed each of Poalencia Hidden Agent destroyed, destroy each of
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Poalencia's hidden agents neighbors seems bad, I guess not, maybe, Okay,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: her fate is put Polancia a secret agent into play
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: under your control.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I see this is a card.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Yeah, so now again we have cards that are only
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: specifically triggering on fates. I feel about this.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: So you put this?
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Oh my god, I love this card. I'm sorry.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: At least you're not penalized for discarding it or playing it.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: Plancia is a no thank you card.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so. I think you're right on that one.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: All right, As I have a panic attack about Prince Buffo,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I don't have any idea what he does. I just
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: need as many of them as I can find. It's
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: pretty sweet this art. He is a frog wearing a
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: purple coat. Purple coat with a crown and a pipe.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: This is fantastic and some shrooms all in the background, and.
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: We need to stop you here.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: He also has a nice beverage on the table next.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: To Oh, he does have a nice little classic glass
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: of port. Maybe he's got like a fly on a platter.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: This guy is awesome. He is brass in the frog world.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: He's cooler than me.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: One powered beast comes enhanced with amber and a draw pitch,
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: and then fate your opponent porges a key at current costs.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Some folks lose all hope when they're when they are
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: turned into toads. Prince Buffo was the noble exception.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I believe that's notable.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: I can't read on what's there?
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Sure, just like the Prognosticator wiki, you know it.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: Did you guys do Ruthless Avender?
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Yeah? Yah, we did Ruthless Avender. It was like the
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: very first one we did.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: I checked out for you.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: So I love this card. It seems like it could be. Okay,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: he's a key sheet that you don't get to control
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: when it's played. Yeah, mm hmm, that's gonna be. So
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: he might be able to win new games and he
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: might be completely useless.
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: And I get to choose to fire this before your
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: game three Amber card.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Uh, yep, this is true.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: That's a that's a wombo, not a.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I believe the kids are calling that a wamp wamp nowadays.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I believe that's what they're calling it. Now let's move
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: into sample forty two. C. I feel like these are
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: one of those those creepypastas. Sample forty two se just me,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: I'm the only one who knows what a creepypasta is. Fantastic, Uh,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: get a pip of ember it is a star Allons artifact.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Action Move one Ember from your opponent's pool two sample
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: forty two. See if there are four or more Ember
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: on sample forty two seed, purge it and forge a
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: key at no cost. So I just need an animator. Yeah,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: I was gonna say, how do we break this card?
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: It seems like it's just like sitting there meant to
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: be broken.
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: Yeah, this is like a better version or an interesting
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: version of redacted.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Hm fate the most powerful enemy creature captures half of
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: your ember, rounding down. I have a feeling we're going
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: to be trying to break sample forty two.
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: C Like this thing is I mean, this purges where
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: redacted sacrifices, but.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: It's a deep water grewing guys, is it that?
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: But it's basically a slightly I guess you actually have
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: to say action redacted is not an action so they
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: can exhaust it to prevent you from continuing on. Yeah,
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: but it also hasn't made a amber pip and it's
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: still not.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: It basically captures one onto an artifact. Yeah, do they
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: get a little depend on if let's just say they
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: destroyed the artifact, do they get it back or does
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: it just not go anywhere. Just go back to the
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: common and supply.
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: Comments.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Play we've already had reply, Oh yeah, no questions.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: It is an ability to ember crush very very slowly.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Put ember crushed down the les. We wait and see
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: on this card that that cards peaked my interest. Consult
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: the bones action card from a team discarded the top
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: card of eat. That's what we should do before we
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: get on this podcast and bones. Just shake the bones
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: and throw them out. Consulting, get that Tyson Chicken out
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: by Tyson Chicken boneless. Consult on around play discard the
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: top card of each player's deck. For each card discarded,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: this way resolve its bonus icons as if you had
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: played it. That was a letdown. All right, let's go
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: to four cr for seer. Did you get it? Two
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: power cyborg scientists play after reap, look at the top
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: two cards of your deck. Put one into your hand,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: one on the top of your deck. That seems like good.
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: Yep, that's a good la and after reap, yep, it's
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: it's not quite a eye door. You also aren't discarding
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: any cards off your deck.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: Nope, no, but is a single use you could potentially
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: reap with this, Yeah, I'm just using it like, but
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: you're actually not milling. So no, it's okay.
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: It does draw though, yeah, that it does it actually,
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: but it actually doesn't draw, right.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: It puts one into your hand.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: So a fact that says something happens when your opponent draws.
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: This does not interact with that.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Hold on, I gotta read that again. Look at the
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: top two put one on your hand. Okay, I wasn't
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: sure what it said. I thought just said put one
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: back into your deck. But it's got to be one
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: of those two, because that would be pretty dope. If
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: it was draw to put a card from your hand
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: back on the top of your deck, that would be dope.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: That would be a very good card. But we're not
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: allowed to have those in KeyForge.
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: Oh yeah, we're only allowed to have broken hands.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: We're only allowed to have very mid cards. No Mars
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: in this set. Mars is departing in this set.
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: Yeah, that's because it's ruined the meta now for so.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: They gotta go back on the corners. Yeah, poor Mars
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: the good again. They did nothing to deserve it. They
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: weren't good to begin with. We just loved them.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: Bring your sign, Bring back marsh fraud would like to
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: have a word with you.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Brod. Is the exception not the rule?
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: Does it matter?
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Me and Frod had many a conversation. We we we
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: enjoyed the ups and downs of a Nash Knows event.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: We know each other. Yeah, but that's all the spoilers
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: that we have. There is the Prophetic Vision Spoilers channel
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: now up. I think somebody might have deleted it now
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: because this is the Prophetic Vision Spoilers is just a
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: sub thing. I don't think that sticks around unless you
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: click on that thing.
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: It's a thread.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: Well it's under whatever is the newest set. But there
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: used to be a Prophetics Vision spoiler channel.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I made I am made that channel. But I
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: guess we should probably.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: Oh you're the one. You're you're the one to blame.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: I made it, yeah, because once because this is gonna
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: get buried. Well that's why I got confused when like
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: you guys were talking about cards. I was like, there's
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: nothing in this channel. I refuse for us to have
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: more dumb channels. All right, Well go bye Shanghai, Florence and.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: No no, I haven't happened yet. And Hamburg, Yeah, okay,
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: Florence and Hamburg and Shanghai and Hamburg and.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: No, no, Shanghai.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: We have actually the top eight, which no, do not
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: get rid of Shanghai.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: We haven't talked Have we talked about the top at all?
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: All right, that's what else we gotta talk about tonight.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Nothing. We're all gonna go home. Fantastic sheep's going to
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: bed because he glumpy sheep. He has had his he
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: he got gold bed. Go bet he's putting on his
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: little his little floppy cap now you know those little
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: caps with the little fuzzy ball in the end, and
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: he's gonna follow his candle and go to sleep. Yep,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: are you grumping me? You're a grump in the score.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I think I think Prince Bufo probably has like a
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: super sweet one of those, right, like super sweet one
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: of what all those nightcaps? Yeah, those nightcaps, and he's
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: got yeah yeah, will you see it and be like, oh, ship,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: that's real nice. Yeah. I need uh g take notes.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: I need a large version of this card. I can
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: hang in my man caves. Slash the bathroom, small bathroom,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: which is the only place allowed to hang things, and
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: they won't play. Yeah, well it's the only it's it's
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: the only place allowed to decorate. It's the small it's
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: the small bathroom, and it also has to get approved
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: by my way. Mm hmm. But did this guy? I
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: think I can get him approved nice because that I
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: mean that I didn't even say no, I didn't even
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: know what it was, but I'd already fallen in love.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Mm hmm. It's like just one of you know you
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: ever see that person you just can't take your eyes
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: off of. That was Prince Bufo.
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: Yeah, you is that Ghostbuster girl.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: It was not Ghostbuster girl. So I'm I'm sorry.

- 1:13:18Speaker 1: a little awesome little yellow vest. I mean you got
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: a good Will near you? Right? And and what is that?
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Is that a bow tie?
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: His sporting I.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: I just want to see that you have painted your screen,
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: your your skin all green.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: That's all I want to see.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: I think it's like a piece of ember. Uh No,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: it's it is a bow tie with a piece of ember.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: It might be I don't know what that is. Ah,
