- 0:00Speaker 1: I was going on as Romeo, Oh we finally made
- 0:02Speaker 1: it to the weekend. It's Friday. Let's see what happened
- 0:05Speaker 1: you did to get this text message the other day,
- 0:07Speaker 1: which I thought was really kind of funny. We're talking about,
- 0:10Speaker 1: you know, being attractive to people, and then obviously, you
- 0:14Speaker 1: know when it comes to money, and money seems to
- 0:19Speaker 1: be a big issue in relationships, which we all understand.
- 0:22Speaker 1: But guy said, hey, Rome, you you were talking about
- 0:26Speaker 1: being attracted to people. My wife said the money I
- 0:30Speaker 1: make is part of the attraction she has to me,
- 0:34Speaker 1: and that was all the text message was. And so
- 0:37Speaker 1: when I was thinking about it, I was kind of curious,
- 0:39Speaker 1: do you mean when you say part of the attraction, right?
- 0:43Speaker 1: Because when you're attracted to somebody, and I know what
- 0:47Speaker 1: you guys are all thinking, Oh, she's a gold digger, Rome,
- 0:49Speaker 1: She just wants his money. He must make a good
- 0:51Speaker 1: amount of money, a good chunk of change, and that's
- 0:53Speaker 1: why she wants to.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Be with him.
- 0:55Speaker 1: But why is it wrong to be attracted to somebody
- 1:00Speaker 1: at least partly attracted to them because of the money
- 1:03Speaker 1: they make. Now, I don't know if he made less money,
- 1:07Speaker 1: if she would still want to be with him, because
- 1:09Speaker 1: that's not the extent that was the extent of the
- 1:11Speaker 1: text mess. I mean, maybe he's a great looking guy,
- 1:15Speaker 1: maybe he has other attributes that she's attracted to more
- 1:20Speaker 1: than the money, because he did say part of the
- 1:24Speaker 1: attraction to him from her is the money he makes
- 1:31Speaker 1: already four two, five, four or seven to seven? So
- 1:35Speaker 1: is she a gold.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Digger or not? I don't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Is it wrong to be a for the money somebody
- 1:42Speaker 1: makes to be part of the attraction, right if they
- 1:46Speaker 1: have all these other attributes but they also make good money. See,
- 1:53Speaker 1: and I think it's okay. I mean, are you some
- 1:56Speaker 1: sort of saint if you're attracted to a guy who's broke?
- 2:00Speaker 1: And I mean, does that make you better than some
- 2:03Speaker 1: woman who says, you know what? This guy drives a
- 2:05Speaker 1: nice car, has a nice house, is a very nice man,
- 2:07Speaker 1: treats me well, good looking physically, and he makes good cash.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Although I'm attracted to all those things, part of it's
- 2:17Speaker 1: the money. A guy texted me. We're talking about attractiveness
- 2:20Speaker 1: the other day, and I was holding on to this
- 2:22Speaker 1: to talk to you guys.
- 2:22Speaker 2: But a guy texted me.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He said, hey, Rome, my wife said the money I
- 2:26Speaker 1: make is part of the attraction she has to me.
- 2:30Speaker 1: And I know the first time you hear that, you
- 2:32Speaker 1: think gold digger. Right, I don't know if she's a
- 2:35Speaker 1: gold digger or not. I mean, is it wrong for
- 2:37Speaker 1: money to be part of the attraction? I mean, you
- 2:41Speaker 1: got to be attracted to a dude's does not?
- 2:45Speaker 2: Money is not? Can money play a part in attractiveness?
- 2:52Speaker 1: Or are you wrong already fourteen, five, four or seven seven?
- 2:55Speaker 2: I don't really think so, all right, but you text
- 2:58Speaker 2: me or a rome.
- 3:00Speaker 1: When me and my husband got together, we both didn't
- 3:03Speaker 1: make any money. My husband kind of worked his way
- 3:06Speaker 1: up as company. Now he's one of the top dogs
- 3:09Speaker 1: who makes a good chunk of change, and I find
- 3:12Speaker 1: myself more attracted to him now. So I don't think
- 3:16Speaker 1: that she's a gold digger. There is something attractive about
- 3:22Speaker 1: money and a man who makes it, especially if they
- 3:26Speaker 1: work hard to get it.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Okay, maybe that's it.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know already four two, five, four or
- 3:34Speaker 1: seven to seven?
- 3:35Speaker 2: But is it wrong?
- 3:35Speaker 1: Is it wrong for money for a woman or a
- 3:39Speaker 1: man to be attracted to somebody partly because of money?
- 3:44Speaker 2: Partly because of money?
- 3:45Speaker 1: Because I think if you're a gold digger, You're not
- 3:49Speaker 1: attracted to the person at all, You just attracted to
- 3:52Speaker 1: their money. Right Already? Four two five four or seven
- 3:56Speaker 1: to seven? Some guy was texting me. He said, hey,
- 3:59Speaker 1: ro my wife said the money I make is part
- 4:01Speaker 1: of her attraction to me. And I know you guys
- 4:05Speaker 1: think that means she's just a gold digger. Right, Well,
- 4:07Speaker 1: why shouldn't money play a part in the attraction that
- 4:11Speaker 1: you have for somebody? If you cannot be attracted to
- 4:15Speaker 1: somebody because he's broke, driving a beat up car, nope,
- 4:19Speaker 1: or walking down the street, then why can't you be
- 4:23Speaker 1: attracted to someone partially because they have money?
- 4:28Speaker 2: Alrighty?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Four two five four or seven seven eight? Romeo, his
- 4:32Speaker 1: wife would leave him the first His wife would leave
- 4:36Speaker 1: him the first time he lost his job or started
- 4:40Speaker 1: making less money. I guarantee it. She's not attracted to
- 4:43Speaker 1: that man at all. She just wants his money. He
- 4:45Speaker 1: must make pretty good money for her to say that.
- 4:50Speaker 1: What do you mean make pretty good money for her
- 4:53Speaker 1: to say that? Why would she say that to him?
- 4:56Speaker 2: Right?
- 4:57Speaker 1: Why are you attracted to the man you're with? Do
- 5:00Speaker 1: you ever think about that because he's good looking? Because
- 5:03Speaker 1: you knew you thought he treated because he treated you
- 5:06Speaker 1: well with respect.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Maybe you thought he was going to be a good father.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I mean the problem is a lot of you have
- 5:13Speaker 1: met meet young when you're still kind of coming up right,
- 5:16Speaker 1: you haven't solidified yourself as a career. You're not making
- 5:20Speaker 1: a cash But what about somebody meets somebody a little
- 5:22Speaker 1: bit later.
- 5:23Speaker 2: It's wrong.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Like I got a buddy who uh you know, he's
- 5:27Speaker 1: in his I think forties maybe late forties. He got
- 5:31Speaker 1: a great job, got a house, got a car, makes
- 5:33Speaker 1: good cash. I mean, any woman that's attracted to him,
- 5:38Speaker 1: is it going to be about the money or why
- 5:41Speaker 1: not be partially attracted to the money?
- 5:44Speaker 2: Hey, rom ain't no such thing as a gold digger.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Women are naturally expensive, So pick one in your price
- 5:50Speaker 1: range and shut the Yeah. I like your logic. I
- 5:59Speaker 1: like your logic. I've been saying that for years, for decades.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Even pick a woman in your price range.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Okay, But for a woman to.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Say that she's attracted partially attracted to somebody because of
- 6:14Speaker 1: the money they make, I don't think that's gold digging.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Although there are gold diggers.
- 6:18Speaker 1: There are guys out there that make so much damn
- 6:20Speaker 1: money that they have a woman that She is just
- 6:23Speaker 1: there to look pretty and have sex. It's really all
- 6:26Speaker 1: she's there for. And he spends money on her. So
- 6:29Speaker 1: there's such thing as a gold digger, just not as
- 6:32Speaker 1: many as you think already four two, five, four, seven
- 6:36Speaker 1: and seven. But why isn't it okay to be attracted
- 6:40Speaker 1: to somebody that makes cash? Why can't that be part
- 6:44Speaker 1: of the reason you're into them? Guy texted me and
- 6:46Speaker 1: he said that we were talking about attracted like it's
- 6:48Speaker 1: being attracted to people, he said. My wife said, the
- 6:51Speaker 1: money I make rome is part of the attraction.
- 6:54Speaker 2: She asked to me.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Well, first of all, before you guys call her a
- 6:58Speaker 1: gold digger, which somebody said, there's no such thing as
- 7:00Speaker 1: gold diggers. Women are all naturally expensive. You just pick
- 7:03Speaker 1: the one you can afford, which is actually probably a
- 7:07Speaker 1: fairly pretty true statement, to be honest with you. But
- 7:12Speaker 1: what's wrong with having what's wrong with liking a guy
- 7:15Speaker 1: with money?
- 7:16Speaker 2: How?
- 7:16Speaker 1: How does that make you anything? How does that make
- 7:20Speaker 1: you any anything other than okay? You want to have
- 7:23Speaker 1: nice things?
- 7:24Speaker 3: Right?
- 7:25Speaker 2: What is it? What is wrong with if?
- 7:29Speaker 1: If if it being attracted to somebody because of money
- 7:35Speaker 1: or only money, then we got a different issue. But
- 7:38Speaker 1: if you're attracted oh man, because well, he has the
- 7:42Speaker 1: characteristics of the features that you like, plus he makes money.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Why wouldn't that be Why is it wrong to say
- 7:50Speaker 1: that's oh that it's not okay to be attracted to him?
- 7:54Speaker 1: Already four two five, four seven to seven eight, rom
- 7:58Speaker 1: I would never date a woman that she was attracted
- 8:02Speaker 1: to me partially because of money. See well you said
- 8:04Speaker 1: it again, partially because of money. Money plays a factor
- 8:08Speaker 1: in the world we live in. Money plays a factor
- 8:11Speaker 1: in life. So if you have two guys exactly the same,
- 8:18Speaker 1: two guys that are exactly the same, good looking, charming, loving, respectful,
- 8:25Speaker 1: one makes money the other doesn't, you're telling me it's
- 8:30Speaker 1: it's not okay to go with the guy that makes money.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Oh I gotta go with the deadbeat who don't have
- 8:35Speaker 1: a job or still lives at home.
- 8:37Speaker 2: With his mom.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I can't go with the guy that has his own
- 8:40Speaker 1: house and is doing something with his life. Why does
- 8:43Speaker 1: that make you a gold digger? It doesn't, it doesn't
- 8:47Speaker 1: already four two five four seven to seven. So I
- 8:51Speaker 1: don't see anything wrong. I think he texted me because
- 8:55Speaker 1: he might have been a little he might have got
- 8:58Speaker 1: a little Wavery, you know, Waffley or Waverley or whatever,
- 9:02Speaker 1: because his wife told him that.
- 9:04Speaker 2: But I don't think that means she loves you any less.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I don't think that means she's gonna leave you if
- 9:10Speaker 1: you don't need to make any money. I think she
- 9:13Speaker 1: just you know, part of the attraction is money. Part
- 9:16Speaker 1: of the attraction is being able to buy stuff. It's
- 9:19Speaker 1: nothing wrong with that. Funny, So somebody had sent me
- 9:22Speaker 1: a text mess says, hey, Rome, my wife said the
- 9:25Speaker 1: money I make is part of the attraction she has
- 9:27Speaker 1: to me. And I think he texted it to me
- 9:29Speaker 1: because it feels kind of like, well, what does she mean?
- 9:31Speaker 2: Is she just with me for the money? And I
- 9:33Speaker 2: don't think she is.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I think there's nothing wrong with part of the attraction
- 9:38Speaker 1: for someone is the money they make. I don't think
- 9:41Speaker 1: there's because nobody wants to be broke brokes being broke socks.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Alrighty four two, five, four or seven seven? Hey roam,
- 9:48Speaker 1: It's okay to be attracted to money. It's the same
- 9:51Speaker 1: as being attracted to someone successful. Being successful is obviously
- 9:56Speaker 1: more attractive than a bump.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the difference? That's good point. What is the difference.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Usually successful people make a little more money. So if
- 10:06Speaker 1: you're attracted to the success but not the money, there's
- 10:10Speaker 1: a difference. I like what you're saying there. Already four
- 10:14Speaker 1: two five, four seven to seven, Yo.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Rome.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Any woman that says she's not attracted to money is lying.
- 10:22Speaker 1: And any woman that's attracted to some bum, the only
- 10:26Speaker 1: reason she's with him is because that's the best she
- 10:28Speaker 1: can get.
- 10:28Speaker 2: She can't get a guy with money.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Um maybe already four two five, four seven to seven.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I just don't think there's anything wrong.
- 10:41Speaker 5: You know.
- 10:41Speaker 2: It's funny because now.
- 10:43Speaker 1: That I'm thinking about it, the guy said, if a
- 10:45Speaker 1: woman comes and says, I'm attracted to this man because
- 10:48Speaker 1: he's educated, successful, pollege graduate, whatever the case may be,
- 10:53Speaker 1: usually those people make a little bit of cash. Right,
- 10:56Speaker 1: So how's that any different?
- 10:58Speaker 2: All Right? So I saw this lady. She had a
- 11:01Speaker 2: bell in a.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Restaurant, and I'm assuming it was to use to get
- 11:05Speaker 1: a hold of the waiters and waitresses the weight staff, right,
- 11:07Speaker 1: which I don't know why. I can't think of a
- 11:11Speaker 1: legitimately reason why somebody would do that unless they were
- 11:18Speaker 1: just I mean, it's kind of demeaning right to the
- 11:21Speaker 1: weight staff, unless you guys got a good reason already
- 11:25Speaker 1: four two.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Five four seven to seven Yo Rome?
- 11:29Speaker 1: Was she disabled? No, she wasn't disabled, or at least
- 11:34Speaker 1: I couldn't tell.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Maybe they were.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I mean by looking at I wouldn't know how to tell,
- 11:39Speaker 1: Yo Rome. Maybe she was deaf. Okay, Okay, that could
- 11:43Speaker 1: have been. How does that change the dynamic though of
- 11:46Speaker 1: raising like I raised my hand when I want to,
- 11:49Speaker 1: when I want to get a hold of a waiter's attention,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I just kind of make icon contact and raise my hand.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So maybe that's uh uh, maybe that's legitimate.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Good morning to what's going on?
- 12:02Speaker 3: Hey, you mean to tell me you didn't grab that
- 12:04Speaker 3: damn bell and throw it across the restaurant?
- 12:05Speaker 2: Well, no, because I have no idea why she's got
- 12:07Speaker 2: a bell.
- 12:08Speaker 1: That's not my business to get involved in whatever her
- 12:11Speaker 1: reasoning is for having it.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I mean, that's between her reach table there, all right, Well,
- 12:19Speaker 2: that's not my place. That's not my place. That's the way.
- 12:22Speaker 3: But if it's annoying, you know what I mean, if
- 12:24Speaker 3: it's a she's just been an.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Annoying you ever know why she has it? That's the question.
- 12:31Speaker 1: You don't know whether it's just arrogance, or whether there's
- 12:33Speaker 1: some legitimate reason to have one.
- 12:37Speaker 6: Oh, I would have like, hey, what's all that for?
- 12:40Speaker 2: All right?
- 12:40Speaker 1: Yeah, man, that's not my place. It's between her and
- 12:44Speaker 1: the wait step whatever that. I don't know if there
- 12:47Speaker 1: was a reasoning behind it or not. I have no idea.
- 12:50Speaker 1: But I've never seen that before, have you? So I
- 12:53Speaker 1: was out to eat the other day yesterday, and this
- 12:56Speaker 1: lady had a bell. I couldn't I kept hearing this
- 12:59Speaker 1: dan and I didn't couldn't figure out. First I thought
- 13:01Speaker 1: my phone was dinging? Why is my phone ding because
- 13:03Speaker 1: I don't keep my I don't keep my ringer on.
- 13:05Speaker 2: I always keep it.
- 13:06Speaker 1: And then I realized the woman behind me had a
- 13:09Speaker 1: bell at her table. I'm assuming it was to get
- 13:11Speaker 1: a hold of the waitstaff. What else would you.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Have a bell for?
- 13:14Speaker 1: And at first I'm thinking, Okay, is this just is
- 13:18Speaker 1: she just that arrogant?
- 13:20Speaker 2: Is she just that demeaning?
- 13:22Speaker 1: But then I was trying to think, well, what reasoning
- 13:25Speaker 1: could you have for bringing a bell to a restaurant? Well, reasoning,
- 13:30Speaker 1: I've never seen that before. Of you already four two
- 13:33Speaker 1: or seven to seven yo? Rome, My girl and I
- 13:36Speaker 1: went to Mercato Latino over the weekend, and the waitress
- 13:39Speaker 1: took our order and our order was placed, then took
- 13:43Speaker 1: her break, then gave us our cold food. Okay, so
- 13:47Speaker 1: what does that mean you need a bell? I mean,
- 13:50Speaker 1: I don't understand. How does that correlate?
- 13:53Speaker 2: Yo, Roam.
- 13:54Speaker 1: The lady could have been deaf. Okay, so let's say
- 13:57Speaker 1: she is. Let's say she was. What does the bell do?
- 14:01Speaker 1: What does the bell? How does the bell help? I mean,
- 14:06Speaker 1: That's all I'm looking for is a legitimate reason, because,
- 14:10Speaker 1: like I said, if I'm trying to get a hold
- 14:11Speaker 1: of a waiter, a waitress, or whoever the wait staff is,
- 14:14Speaker 1: I just kind of make eye contact and raise my hand.
- 14:17Speaker 2: So I'm not really sure. Hey, Rome, what's up?
- 14:20Speaker 7: Rome?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Some people are raised with that, with that kind of etiquette.
- 14:24Speaker 1: They say it's rude to wave at a waiter, to
- 14:27Speaker 1: wave a weiter down or verbally contact them.
- 14:31Speaker 2: They are they do.
- 14:33Speaker 1: It's rude to get a waiter's attention by verbally contacting
- 14:38Speaker 1: them and or.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Waving at them. I had never heard that before.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Wow, So a bell is the proper etiquette of getting
- 14:48Speaker 1: a hold of a weight staff that doesn't The bell
- 14:51Speaker 1: doesn't seem to meaning to me outside of all things
- 14:54Speaker 1: being equal, outside of some sort of I don't know,
- 14:57Speaker 1: you guys tell me disability. That warn't having a bell
- 15:01Speaker 1: to me if just the regular dudes there with a bell,
- 15:04Speaker 1: and that seems like it would be more demeaning than saying, hey,
- 15:08Speaker 1: can I get a beer?
- 15:11Speaker 2: I guess I don't know etiquette.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Then there was at a restaurant and this lady behind
- 15:15Speaker 1: me had a bell, you know, like a ding bell,
- 15:17Speaker 1: like you walk up to a you walk up to
- 15:20Speaker 1: a counter, and you ring a bell. She had one
- 15:22Speaker 1: of those sitting at her table, and she kept ringing it,
- 15:24Speaker 1: and I'm assuming it was for the weight staff, but
- 15:27Speaker 1: I couldn't figure out a legitimate reason why. My first
- 15:30Speaker 1: thought was, oh my god, what is this lady doing.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I think that's kind of arrogant and a little demeaning
- 15:35Speaker 1: to the wait staff to have a bell. But then
- 15:37Speaker 1: I thought, well, maybe there's something going on. Maybe there's
- 15:40Speaker 1: something that I'm missing. Alrighty four to two four seven
- 15:44Speaker 1: to seven year row. Maybe she was deaf? Well, okay,
- 15:47Speaker 1: I'll let's say she was. How does that warrant a bell?
- 15:52Speaker 1: Somebody explain that one to me, because like, I said,
- 15:56Speaker 1: if I want to get a hold of a waiter
- 15:57Speaker 1: or a waitress, I just kind of wait till they
- 15:59Speaker 1: kind of noticed me, and then I'll kind of you know,
- 16:01Speaker 1: flag them, flag them down. And you know, normally, when
- 16:04Speaker 1: I'm trying to get a hold of one, it's normally
- 16:06Speaker 1: just to get you know, another drink, So just kind
- 16:09Speaker 1: of hold up the drink and then they go get it.
- 16:10Speaker 2: And there seems to be pretty seamless.
- 16:12Speaker 1: But now you're telling me that that's rude to do that,
- 16:14Speaker 1: and then a bell is more has better, it's better
- 16:17Speaker 1: etiquette to have a bell. I never heard that before,
- 16:20Speaker 1: Yo Rome. She might have been blind, you know what.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Maybe that's it. Maybe that was it. Maybe she couldn't
- 16:28Speaker 1: see so there was no way to know when the
- 16:30Speaker 1: wait staff was. That's maybe that was it. Maybe there
- 16:34Speaker 1: is a legitimate reason already four two five, four seven seven.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Let's see, yo Rome, if she was on the lighter
- 16:43Speaker 1: skin side, we know how she was raised. It's not
- 16:46Speaker 1: proper etiquette anywhere outside of the South.
- 16:48Speaker 2: What a bell? So the person that told me having
- 16:53Speaker 2: a bell is proper.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Etiquette, and flagging a waiter down or a waitress down,
- 16:58Speaker 1: or or making eye contact is rude.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Well, what's what's what's the truth? I mean, what's the
- 17:05Speaker 2: truth about it? Should she have a bell or not?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Maybe she was blind, because I can see that, because
- 17:09Speaker 1: then how would you know if somebody was there to
- 17:12Speaker 1: help you or not, or how would you get a
- 17:13Speaker 1: hold of.
- 17:14Speaker 2: The wait staff. I don't know, man, I never seen
- 17:16Speaker 2: a bell before.
- 17:17Speaker 1: That was the craziest thing I've ever seen already, four
- 17:19Speaker 1: two five, four, seven to seven. I was at the
- 17:22Speaker 1: restaurant the other day and I saw this woman. She
- 17:24Speaker 1: had a bell. So that's how she was getting a
- 17:26Speaker 1: hold of the wait staff, right, And I don't know
- 17:29Speaker 1: what reasoning she would have for bringing it. Some of
- 17:31Speaker 1: you guys are telling me that that's that's etiquette, and
- 17:34Speaker 1: that actually flagging down a waiter or waitress or weight
- 17:37Speaker 1: staff is not etiquette.
- 17:39Speaker 2: That's rude.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I had never heard that before, But you know, I
- 17:42Speaker 1: mean down south, I'm guessing is where you guys are
- 17:44Speaker 1: getting that etiquette.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
- 17:47Speaker 1: But a four to two, five, four seven seven, I
- 17:49Speaker 1: don't know, man, I don't know what it was for,
- 17:52Speaker 1: all right, bro A, speaking of restaurants and bringing stuff
- 17:55Speaker 1: to the restaurants, do you think it's okay to bring
- 17:58Speaker 1: something to a restaurant that they don't provide. Do I
- 18:02Speaker 1: think it's okay? What do you mean by condiments or
- 18:06Speaker 1: food or what? I mean, what are you talking about?
- 18:09Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not really sure. I already four two five,
- 18:11Speaker 1: four seven seven. You have to be a little bit
- 18:13Speaker 1: more specific. I mean, I had some buddies I used
- 18:16Speaker 1: to have, well, they're still my buddies, but they used
- 18:19Speaker 1: to bring kool aid to a restaurant and ask for
- 18:21Speaker 1: water and sugar because they didn't the restaurants. We would
- 18:24Speaker 1: go out to eat, and if the restaurant didn't provide it,
- 18:26Speaker 1: I mean, they would bring their own packets of kool aid.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I mean, I've gone to restaurants before. I've gone to
- 18:33Speaker 1: restaurants with my sister before, and she has little kids
- 18:37Speaker 1: and they'll pick them up like a happy meal or something,
- 18:39Speaker 1: and then take it to the restaurant, and the restaurants
- 18:42Speaker 1: actually would.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Plate it for the kids.
- 18:43Speaker 1: All we'll hold on to it, keep it out back
- 18:45Speaker 1: to your foods ready, and then we'll play it for
- 18:46Speaker 1: the kids. So, I mean, I'm not sure what you're
- 18:48Speaker 1: talking about. Like all the restaurants, but like with my friends,
- 18:52Speaker 1: used to bring kool aid. The restaurants didn't care. I
- 18:54Speaker 1: mean what, they didn't offer that as a drink. So
- 18:56Speaker 1: I'm not really sure what you're talking about. What are
- 18:59Speaker 1: you trying to bring to a restaurant that they don't
- 19:02Speaker 1: provide or they pour two five, four, seven to seven.
- 19:05Speaker 1: But I don't think it's all that. I mean some stuff.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I don't think.
- 19:08Speaker 2: It's that bad. Yo, roam about the bell.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm thinking she was high class and didn't want to
- 19:12Speaker 1: waste her breath. Maybe that's what I said. I'd never
- 19:17Speaker 1: seen that before. That's why I had no idea what
- 19:19Speaker 1: to think about it. What's going on?
- 19:23Speaker 3: Hello?
- 19:24Speaker 2: Hello, Hey, what's going on?
- 19:27Speaker 4: Well?
- 19:27Speaker 7: I was calling because I heard what you guys were
- 19:29Speaker 7: saying about the restaurant.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Yeah, what's up? What do you got?
- 19:34Speaker 1: Why take god a restaurant? Well, I mean yeah, if
- 19:41Speaker 1: they don't offer it, and you know a lot of
- 19:43Speaker 1: people put top of th on everything, not just your
- 19:46Speaker 1: traditional Mexican food.
- 19:48Speaker 2: So yeah, I agree with you.
- 19:49Speaker 1: I always have it in my purse.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Actually, and does anybody ever say anything?
- 19:55Speaker 3: No?
- 19:55Speaker 1: Okay, all right, thanks you're calling. Yeah, I don't think
- 20:00Speaker 1: I mean, if that's what you mean, like bringing some
- 20:02Speaker 1: sort of condiment or drink that they don't offer at
- 20:06Speaker 1: the restaurant you want to go eat a I don't
- 20:08Speaker 1: think that's a problem already. Four to two four, seven
- 20:11Speaker 1: to seven year roam. I take my own Valentine because
- 20:14Speaker 1: everyone uh oh Valentina, because everyone has stapatio. Okay, there
- 20:19Speaker 1: you go. Hey, you have a cheese fan. I like
- 20:22Speaker 1: to give a shout out to myself. Happy birthday to me. Okay,
- 20:28Speaker 1: what's up you got? Nobody loves you, loves you enough
- 20:31Speaker 1: to give you a shot out. You got to set
- 20:34Speaker 1: up for your own birthday too. That's a raider fan
- 20:36Speaker 1: for you. Yo, Romeu, rum I bring my old bottle
- 20:40Speaker 1: of dapatillo.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Oh no, oh, rome I always said, rome not rum.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I bring my old bottle of tapa tillo everywhere I go,
- 20:47Speaker 1: including restaurants.
- 20:48Speaker 2: See, I don't think there's a problem with it, Hey, Romeo.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I used to be a server and there used to
- 20:53Speaker 1: be this group that would come in and the guy
- 20:56Speaker 1: would whistle to get my attention. Whistle like or a
- 21:01Speaker 1: whistle with a whistle. He wouldn't bring his own whistle
- 21:04Speaker 1: and he would just whistle loud.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. Is that that's got to be
- 21:08Speaker 1: ruder than Is that ruder than a bell? I mean,
- 21:11Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm not really sure now that I
- 21:13Speaker 1: think about it. How are you supposed to get a
- 21:15Speaker 1: hold of a waiter or waitress if you're trying to
- 21:17Speaker 1: get him over to your table? This whole bell thing
- 21:20Speaker 1: is kind of weird. Hey, rome It's extremely rude for
- 21:24Speaker 1: a customer to do that. We'd much rather talk to
- 21:26Speaker 1: you like a human, as a server for twenty years.
- 21:30Speaker 1: If it's who I think, it is arrogance. If it's
- 21:34Speaker 1: who I think it's arrogance, Yeah, that's just so strange, right,
- 21:39Speaker 1: I mean, just so strange. Already four two to five,
- 21:43Speaker 1: four or seven to seven?
- 21:44Speaker 2: Good morning?
- 21:44Speaker 1: Hell?
- 21:44Speaker 2: What's going on, Romeo?
- 21:45Speaker 8: What if she's a big Anita War fan? You can
- 21:48Speaker 8: ring my.
- 21:51Speaker 6: Hell, ring my bell?
- 21:54Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 21:59Speaker 8: Also, I've worked reach out and I'm the same way.
- 22:02Speaker 8: If people are rude, or they whistle or they like
- 22:05Speaker 8: are don't get my attention properly out norm Yes, I
- 22:11Speaker 8: just totally ignore. You can't whistle at me.
- 22:13Speaker 6: I'm not a dog.
- 22:14Speaker 8: If somebody was she was ringing her.
- 22:15Speaker 6: Bell, she'd be there for a while.
- 22:17Speaker 8: Ringing her belt because I would ignore her.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Well, I just okay, I don't disagree. I don't know
- 22:23Speaker 2: why she has the bell. That was the weird part.
- 22:26Speaker 8: I do like ikay, she might be a fan of
- 22:28Speaker 8: ring my.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I think today's your day. Just to listen.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Okay, don't just listen today, Okay, you're an idiot.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Try to get on Monday. Okay, just be a listener today.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Good money?
- 22:42Speaker 6: Hey, what's up? Wrong?
- 22:43Speaker 2: Hey?
- 22:44Speaker 3: What up?
- 22:45Speaker 6: Roll?
- 22:45Speaker 3: I'd rather hear that bell than hear greaters.
- 22:47Speaker 6: Dumb ass trying to sing on the radio. Right now?
- 22:52Speaker 6: How I do to just stay home? Don't even listen
- 22:55Speaker 6: to the radio today? Bro, like listen to write a
- 22:57Speaker 6: little bore or something.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Oh my god, Ruben, this friday relaxed.
- 23:02Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying. Wrong, don't let's say my day
- 23:04Speaker 6: off like this. I don't want to hear it. I
- 23:06Speaker 6: rather hear the bell.
- 23:07Speaker 2: And here's so mad alright here?
- 23:11Speaker 1: Oh my god, can't we just have a good Friday.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I'm already a little tired. I don't even know if
- 23:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna make it.
- 23:17Speaker 2: To ten o'clock. Word it up? What's going on?
- 23:21Speaker 3: Shop Romeo?
- 23:21Speaker 6: Right or wrong? He run Rob that's up.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Brother.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Hey, you know I catch my shop doing in a
- 23:27Speaker 3: lot lately.
- 23:28Speaker 6: For dinner, breakfast, whatever, I.
- 23:30Speaker 8: Take my own chiluah, and I even chake my own
- 23:33Speaker 8: cherry diet seven up zero Okay, when I go out
- 23:39Speaker 8: to eat and stuff, and that's like tonight, I'm prepping already.
- 23:42Speaker 7: I already got my bottles a little ready.
- 23:43Speaker 8: Take my daughter out for her birthday, go eat some
- 23:45Speaker 8: sushi fit bro.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Okay, oh, Ron, he's so funny, alrighty fourteen four seven
- 23:55Speaker 1: to seven?
- 23:58Speaker 2: What'd you say here? Hey, Rome?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Older Caucasian women comes to our establishment often with her bell.
- 24:06Speaker 1: The staff has been trained to ignore it. Wow, So
- 24:11Speaker 1: this you've seen it happen as well?
- 24:15Speaker 2: Huh. Yeah, I thought it was strange. I thought to
- 24:19Speaker 2: bring a bell.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I mean that seems a little a little disrespectful, right, Yeah,
- 24:27Speaker 1: I don't know already fourteen five four seven. But to
- 24:30Speaker 1: be fair, the restaurants I go to, I know most
- 24:33Speaker 1: of the servers and the bartenders.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Hell, they'll sit down at my table with me.
- 24:38Speaker 1: So I guess I don't under I guess that's why
- 24:40Speaker 1: I don't understand what this whole bell situation is all about.
- 24:43Speaker 1: And for somebody else to actually say that they've seen it.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I wonder if maybe we saw the same person.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 24:49Speaker 2: There can be more than one person walking around with
- 24:51Speaker 2: a bell.
- 24:52Speaker 3: No.
- 24:52Speaker 8: I used to hear saying that you might be a
- 24:55Speaker 8: Raider fan if you bring your own commments to a restaurant.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Well that's od, Dave Gus, I mean right to rob.
- 25:03Speaker 8: Sorry, Dave, No, I guess it's not that uncommon now,
- 25:07Speaker 8: you know. I I take my own hot sauce in there.
- 25:10Speaker 8: I take my own pepper and salt when I know
- 25:12Speaker 8: they don't have any. So I guess a lot of people.
- 25:15Speaker 6: Are doing it.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I had some friends when I first moved to Bakersfield.
- 25:19Speaker 1: I had some friends come through and visit me, and
- 25:23Speaker 1: they brought kool aid. We went to a Chinese restaurant
- 25:27Speaker 1: to have dinner and they brought KOOLI.
- 25:29Speaker 8: That's a little kiddo, but it's good to know you're
- 25:32Speaker 8: your friends. And circle home was very wide and brought.
- 25:35Speaker 2: So it was hilarious.
- 25:38Speaker 8: And you know what's Friday right to day's feeling good.
- 25:40Speaker 8: I don't know why Cowboy.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I know Rubs has been a hater today. I don't
- 25:45Speaker 1: know why he's been You know what he's been hating
- 25:47Speaker 1: for the last couple of weeks about stuff. I don't
- 25:49Speaker 1: know what's going on with him.
- 25:51Speaker 6: It is he's getting old. He needs to cheer up.
- 25:53Speaker 6: If I can, you know, I'd like to tell him
- 25:55Speaker 6: something real quick.
- 25:56Speaker 8: Yeah, wiping cards and the second ship.
- 25:59Speaker 3: I saw you.
- 26:01Speaker 7: Let's stand in.
- 26:02Speaker 6: The corn ringing out by a friend new time to change.
- 26:09Speaker 6: I seen all day for you want.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Man, Roman, I can't believe you just try to call
- 26:16Speaker 3: me a hater. Bro, you've been hating for weeks by
- 26:20Speaker 3: there's a difference between.
- 26:21Speaker 6: Haiti and keeping it real.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Never wants to hear.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Here, hold on there.
- 26:27Speaker 1: That's like those women that go on, I just speak
- 26:29Speaker 1: my mind. No, you're speaking your mind because you're a jacket.
- 26:32Speaker 3: No, you know damn right, Romain about speaking my mind,
- 26:34Speaker 3: about keeping it real, and then you did a lot
- 26:36Speaker 3: of them get but hurt because I keep it real.
- 26:39Speaker 1: That's just another justification to be a jackass. Why do
- 26:42Speaker 1: you hate?
- 26:44Speaker 6: Who want the heck wants to hear him and earn in.
- 26:46Speaker 3: The morning on a Friday singing like that dude like
- 26:50Speaker 3: you could just imagine his old ladies probably running out
- 26:52Speaker 3: the back door mowing the lawn.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Oh my god, why do you.
- 27:00Speaker 6: Wrong?
- 27:00Speaker 9: Bro?
- 27:00Speaker 6: Wrong? Bro, let's get it real wrong. It ain't no hating.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Believe me, you're hating wrong.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Last week you were hating.
- 27:07Speaker 6: Hey, hey, there ain't about no hate. He Believe me.
- 27:10Speaker 3: This is the last dude that'd be hating on anybody.
- 27:13Speaker 6: I just keep it real.
- 27:14Speaker 3: And you know what, when they keep it real, people say, well,
- 27:17Speaker 3: he's hating. No, it's not about keeping somebody need to
- 27:19Speaker 3: tell you the truth.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Boy, You tuck. You need to stay off. You do
- 27:23Speaker 6: what you do on, you know, on the side, whatever
- 27:26Speaker 6: we need to do.
- 27:26Speaker 2: All that, you could have let Raider Dave just have
- 27:29Speaker 2: his fun and.
- 27:31Speaker 3: You didn't hang up on him, bro, like I was.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I was what he for?
- 27:33Speaker 6: You? Just to click on that dude.
- 27:34Speaker 2: I like Rador Dave. He don't bother me.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Hey hey, it wasn't it about liking him, but hearing
- 27:39Speaker 3: him sound like a dumb ass. Bro, that's a whole
- 27:41Speaker 3: nother story, you know what I mean?
- 27:43Speaker 6: And thank god he said that.
- 27:45Speaker 3: If Ruben wants to hear me, I don't believe me, Bro,
- 27:47Speaker 3: I do not want to hear you.
- 27:50Speaker 6: Believe me. You know that little thing that speaks in.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Your ears, that's him. I'm not gonna call him raider
- 27:56Speaker 3: day no more.
- 27:57Speaker 6: I'm gonna call him mousie.
- 27:58Speaker 3: That's what he sounds like coming from.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Boy.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Righty, believe me, bro, we're playing ribs on the barbecue today.
- 28:07Speaker 3: A matter of fact, I forgot to tell you my
- 28:09Speaker 3: daughter invited you over for that uh that crap in
- 28:12Speaker 3: a bag or whatever that thing you guys like that
- 28:13Speaker 3: people boil.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Yeah, what are you guys doing that tonight?
- 28:16Speaker 4: Uh?
- 28:17Speaker 3: Yeah, my daughter John Jelic at their birthday, and uh,
- 28:20Speaker 3: she invited you over to her plate for you to
- 28:21Speaker 3: come get.
- 28:21Speaker 6: Some grub on shees. I say, you can know who
- 28:23Speaker 6: makes the best.
- 28:24Speaker 2: I'll come through. But you can't be hating.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Wrong, wrong, Get that out, bro.
- 28:29Speaker 6: You know you know me better than that. I hate.
- 28:32Speaker 6: I'm with congratulating. Are calling it like it is?
- 28:36Speaker 2: Right?
- 28:40Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 28:40Speaker 2: Oh no, there's a fine line.
- 28:42Speaker 1: There's a fine line between keeping it real and being
- 28:46Speaker 1: a hater, just like there's a fine line with all
- 28:48Speaker 1: these loud mouthed women going. Man, I just tell it
- 28:50Speaker 1: how it is. I just people don't like me because
- 28:53Speaker 1: I you know, because I can speak my mind. Well,
- 28:55Speaker 1: sometimes all of you need to shut up and not
- 28:59Speaker 1: speak your mind. Because you just come across like a
- 29:01Speaker 1: hater or a jackass. Okay, but believe me, I'm gonna
- 29:06Speaker 1: go give me some seafood boil at Ruben's house tonight,
- 29:09Speaker 1: going to Rome.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Have you done the hall pass yet?
- 29:11Speaker 7: I have not?
- 29:12Speaker 2: Ay, Rome, Ruben's a hater. No, Ruben just keeps it real.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Doesn't that?
- 29:18Speaker 1: When Ruben says I just keep it real, that sounds
- 29:20Speaker 1: like the justification for being a hater in the same
- 29:23Speaker 1: capacity that someone will say, well, people can't handle me
- 29:26Speaker 1: because I just speak my mind. Well, yeah, speaking your
- 29:28Speaker 1: mind is just the justification of you being a jackass.
- 29:31Speaker 1: And yeah, let's see here, Rom Rubens uh is the
- 29:37Speaker 1: real twirking king? Oh yeah, didn't he win some contests
- 29:41Speaker 1: for twerkin?
- 29:41Speaker 2: Look at you guys are remembering all that? Hey, you
- 29:44Speaker 2: have a Chiefs fan? Does Ruben? Uh? He don't like me? Huh?
- 29:47Speaker 2: I hope, I hope not. I don't even think Ruben
- 29:51Speaker 2: knows who you are?
- 29:52Speaker 4: Food?
- 29:53Speaker 3: All right?
- 29:53Speaker 1: Eight fourteen five four ards seven to seven, your collar
- 29:58Speaker 1: number twenty nine.
- 30:00Speaker 6: I told you today, you.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Told me, you told me lude Today was the day
- 30:11Speaker 2: You're not lied?
- 30:13Speaker 6: Yes, I knew it.
- 30:15Speaker 7: Man.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Well, yeah, you got a backpack full of goodies from
- 30:18Speaker 1: Rodriguez and associates with school supplies. And there's a grand
- 30:22Speaker 1: prize in him as well. So I'll be there, man,
- 30:26Speaker 1: like I hope you can get gas money to show up.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Hey, maybe you won't wear another.
- 30:34Speaker 2: All right, hold on a second, all v darns.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Seahawk Lou finally won a radio contest.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Do you know what's sad about that?
- 30:46Speaker 7: Is?
- 30:46Speaker 1: Now I'm the only loser left. Oh that leaves me
- 30:49Speaker 1: to be the last loser who's never won, never won
- 30:53Speaker 1: a contest. Oh, I don't even know what to say
- 30:56Speaker 1: about that. Really, Rome, what does Malcie have to hate on?
- 31:03Speaker 2: Come on, Ruben, Ruben, why are you arguing today?
- 31:06Speaker 6: Man?
- 31:07Speaker 2: Relax, Relax, relax, relax. Yeah.
- 31:11Speaker 1: So I always said that there's just things that you
- 31:14Speaker 1: know you're never gonna happen in your life.
- 31:16Speaker 2: You're never gonna win a contest.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I've never won any contest, not a raffle, not a
- 31:21Speaker 1: radio contest, and I've tried, never won.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Seahawk c Lou finally won.
- 31:28Speaker 6: It ain't about that you haven't want nothing. I remember
- 31:32Speaker 6: a couple.
- 31:33Speaker 8: Of years back when Miss Philippines or who thought they
- 31:36Speaker 8: want Oh.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, when he messed up on that to who
- 31:46Speaker 1: the winner that what was in the Miss Universe pageant or.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Something like that. Yeah, man, I ain't never won like,
- 31:55Speaker 2: but I never want none. I am lucky.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I ain't never want a cake, a cake, raffle. I
- 31:59Speaker 1: ain't never won a silent auction. I ain't never want nothing.
- 32:05Speaker 6: All right, man, they'll come.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Someday, someday. I keep trying, though, all right. I ain't
- 32:12Speaker 1: want a lottery ticket. I ain't won a radio contest.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I ain't want to raffle. I have not won.
- 32:21Speaker 2: I've never won anything.
- 32:23Speaker 1: And everything that I've ever gotten for free I've asked
- 32:28Speaker 1: for I got my first CD when the radio station
- 32:34Speaker 1: was at the Toyota doing a remote in uh where
- 32:38Speaker 1: were they at Vacaville, I think, And they asked for
- 32:44Speaker 1: a CD. They gave me a CD. I got Zoo
- 32:46Speaker 1: tickets for the La Zoo because I walked up to
- 32:49Speaker 1: k Earth and just asked them they can I get
- 32:52Speaker 1: some zoo tickets.
- 32:55Speaker 2: I never want nothing, never won nothing.
- 32:59Speaker 1: And I imagine how much stuff I've given away in
- 33:03Speaker 1: thirty years of doing a radio show. And I have
- 33:07Speaker 1: never won anything, but I always get a good parking
- 33:13Speaker 1: spot that never fails.
- 33:16Speaker 7: Hey, good morning, Romeo. What brother playing? It's hard to
- 33:19Speaker 7: win when they take that if you work at the
- 33:21Speaker 7: station that you can't participate in the contest.
- 33:25Speaker 2: No, but I but.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I've participated in other cities and other contests when I'm
- 33:29Speaker 1: out of town.
- 33:29Speaker 2: When I'm out of town, I participated.
- 33:31Speaker 1: In radio station stuff for that, the radio stations that
- 33:34Speaker 1: I'm listening to.
- 33:35Speaker 7: I so well, yeah, because you know you know that's right,
- 33:39Speaker 7: Because well, I'll tell you like this, you ain't got
- 33:41Speaker 7: to be a runner to be on my show.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Well that's very nice to your show man.
- 33:49Speaker 7: But like you said, sometimes you don't get no one
- 33:52Speaker 7: unless you have. So if you got the mone, well
- 33:55Speaker 7: good on Universal Studio taking. You know, I'm your guy.
- 33:58Speaker 2: You are you are Universals tickets?
- 34:02Speaker 7: I would love to take my lady.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I can give you some Universal Studio tickets. Hold
- 34:07Speaker 2: on a second, All.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Right, hold on, rome how come you gave that guy
- 34:12Speaker 1: those tickets? Man?
- 34:13Speaker 2: What's up with that?
- 34:15Speaker 1: Give me some. I don't even know who you are.
- 34:18Speaker 1: And he called me, and that fool calls every day,
- 34:22Speaker 1: so why not? There are people that listen to the
- 34:26Speaker 1: show every single day. Regularly.
- 34:29Speaker 2: And if they.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Asked me for something and I have it, why wouldn't
- 34:33Speaker 1: I give it to them? I mean, they're here every day,
- 34:38Speaker 1: they participate, so I don't know already four two four,
- 34:43Speaker 1: seven to seven?
- 34:45Speaker 2: Oh, what are you doing here?
- 34:47Speaker 7: Hey?
- 34:47Speaker 3: Rom?
- 34:47Speaker 2: I'm a single dad.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I just paid my child support yesterday, and i'd like
- 34:51Speaker 1: some free tickets to Monster Trucks event live here in Bakersfield.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I do not have any Monster Truck tickets. I know,
- 35:01Speaker 1: I gave a bunch of them away. Yeah, I don't
- 35:04Speaker 1: have any more winters that this weekend. Who is that
- 35:07Speaker 1: Monster truck e man? Maybe? Oh no August right? Yeah, no,
- 35:11Speaker 1: maybe we'll give some more away. I don't know if
- 35:12Speaker 1: we will or if we won't.
- 35:13Speaker 2: I'm not All I know is that we gave we
- 35:18Speaker 2: gave a bunch of them away, so we might have
- 35:20Speaker 2: more later on. I don't know. Let's see here. What
- 35:25Speaker 2: was I going to go with this? Child support?
- 35:28Speaker 7: Now?
- 35:28Speaker 1: I gotta cover child support?
- 35:31Speaker 3: Man?
- 35:32Speaker 7: What time are you doing in? Meg? Call fat? Oh?
- 35:35Speaker 2: I don't know. Before I get out.
- 35:36Speaker 7: Of here, I'm about to lose you like for I'm
- 35:42Speaker 7: going to be I can't hear you out there.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Well, I don't know my last shot.
- 35:47Speaker 7: My kids want to go get that backpack so bad?
- 35:49Speaker 2: What do you mean your last shot? We're doing it
- 35:51Speaker 2: for another two weeks or something like.
- 35:52Speaker 3: That week, Yeah, night, all right, all right.
- 36:00Speaker 1: We gotta give away ninety four backpacks in the next
- 36:02Speaker 1: We probably give them away all the way till about
- 36:04Speaker 1: August eighth, August ninth.
- 36:05Speaker 2: We might even do it up to the oh no,
- 36:07Speaker 2: the eighth this Friday. So yeah, you got plenty of
- 36:10Speaker 2: time to win. Man, my last shot? What did you
- 36:14Speaker 2: send me here?
- 36:15Speaker 1: Let's see, Hey, Rome, Romeo, these clowns only pay child
- 36:19Speaker 1: support because the county makes them, Otherwise they wouldn't care
- 36:22Speaker 1: to support their kids.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Maybe, I mean, maybe that's true. I don't know. Yeah,
- 36:37Speaker 2: I don't know. That's a that's a very good You
- 36:39Speaker 2: think most guys only pay child.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Support because the state or the county or whoever the
- 36:44Speaker 1: illegally they.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Have to might be right about that. I have no idea.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Hey, Rome I heard you just say something about child support.
- 36:55Speaker 2: What was that all about?
- 36:56Speaker 1: I think guys need to pay child support. My question, though,
- 36:59Speaker 1: is what do you think about alimony? Why should dudes
- 37:02Speaker 1: have to pay alimony to a chick? If they get
- 37:04Speaker 1: divorced when she can just go get another job or
- 37:09Speaker 1: go get a job. I you know, I don't know
- 37:13Speaker 1: anything about either one of those. Child support, I mean,
- 37:15Speaker 1: obviously child support shouldn't be something that the court has
- 37:18Speaker 1: to mandate.
- 37:19Speaker 2: To you as a father. You should be taking care
- 37:21Speaker 2: of your child, right.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Alimony, I mean that's probably questionable, right, I mean, that's
- 37:28Speaker 1: probably why should you have to pay alimony to somebody
- 37:34Speaker 1: who's capable to go out and make their own money.
- 37:36Speaker 1: That's a I mean, that's a pretty good question, you
- 37:40Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So, I mean, but I don't
- 37:43Speaker 1: really know. You know, I don't understand the parameters of alimony,
- 37:47Speaker 1: you know. I mean, I know I have friends that
- 37:50Speaker 1: I went that I graduated college with who they went
- 37:55Speaker 1: out and got married, got divorced, and their husbands pay
- 37:58Speaker 1: them alimony their college graduates. Why do these women get
- 38:03Speaker 1: alimony when they have degrees where they can get jobs. So,
- 38:08Speaker 1: but there's got to be something I'm missing.
- 38:10Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know anything about alimony. I
- 38:13Speaker 2: don't know the parameters.
- 38:14Speaker 1: I guess without knowing anything about it, I guess I
- 38:19Speaker 1: could say the same thing that you're saying if you're
- 38:21Speaker 1: capable to work, why should I have to pay.
- 38:23Speaker 2: You because we got in a relationship. Child support?
- 38:27Speaker 1: Now that's a totally different conversation. Now you guys are
- 38:31Speaker 1: just gonna ask me questions, which is fine already fourteen
- 38:34Speaker 1: five four seven seven A good morning, Rome, Na Bra.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Didn't Ice Cube make a song called child support a
- 38:42Speaker 1: while ago? Very positive educational message for the youth? You know,
- 38:50Speaker 1: I don't know did ice Cube make a song called
- 38:53Speaker 1: child support? I don't think the question was about child support.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I think we can all agree. I think we can
- 39:05Speaker 1: all agree child supports the right thing to do, right.
- 39:09Speaker 1: I just you should support your child if you're not
- 39:12Speaker 1: with the baby mom anymore. I just I don't know
- 39:15Speaker 1: about alimony. I don't That was the guy was saying, Well,
- 39:18Speaker 1: how do I feel of Alimoni's just given your ex
- 39:20Speaker 1: wife money right so that she don't have to work?
- 39:23Speaker 2: Is that how that works? I don't really know, to
- 39:25Speaker 2: be honest with.
- 39:25Speaker 1: You, all right, but you have child support, but you
- 39:31Speaker 1: will a lot of women mismanaged child support, so I
- 39:33Speaker 1: could see how a lot of these guys are upset
- 39:35Speaker 1: about it. I mean, you got you got shenanigans on
- 39:39Speaker 1: both sides. You got women using child support for hair
- 39:43Speaker 1: and nails and their kids looking sloppy. You got guys
- 39:45Speaker 1: that are trying to get out of paying child support.
- 39:48Speaker 2: So it just it works both ways.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Already for two pa four or seven to seven, ap Rom,
- 39:56Speaker 1: I wanted to ask you a question the other day,
- 39:58Speaker 1: but I didn't get it chance to. You were talking
- 40:01Speaker 1: about your friends being idiots. Do your friends get mad
- 40:06Speaker 1: when you talk about them like that? No, my friends
- 40:09Speaker 1: know they're idiots.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Why would I know?
- 40:12Speaker 1: Huh, everybody I h anybody I talk about that's in
- 40:19Speaker 1: my life. They know I talk about them. They know
- 40:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna say something about them, and they all know
- 40:23Speaker 1: if they do something stupid, I'm gonna say they do
- 40:25Speaker 1: something stupid.
- 40:26Speaker 2: But most of my friends are They're all okay with it.
- 40:30Speaker 2: You know, it's no big deal.
- 40:33Speaker 1: But my friends are idiots. I mean that they all
- 40:36Speaker 1: do dumb stuff. The thing about all my friends is
- 40:42Speaker 1: all my friends in Bakersfield have a little bit of
- 40:46Speaker 1: money and no responsibilities anymore, so they just.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Act like idiots and they do dumb things.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Just saw that Lebron James is gonna sign with Philadelphia
- 40:55Speaker 1: seventy six ers, So good morning.
- 40:57Speaker 2: How what's going on?
- 40:59Speaker 4: Hey, don't see how glue man. I just heard about
- 41:03Speaker 4: the Lebron James stuff.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Do you watch basketball?
- 41:08Speaker 6: Yeah? Yeah, I watch basketball, of course, Yeah I was.
- 41:13Speaker 4: I'm a fan of Lebron James, and I'm a fan
- 41:18Speaker 4: of him and the Lakers.
- 41:20Speaker 6: But even if you.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Go to the sixtuers, I'll give me a sixtures Lebron
- 41:25Speaker 4: James jersey.
- 41:27Speaker 2: You're a Laker fan or a Lebron James fan both
- 41:31Speaker 2: both both? Well, you can't be both.
- 41:33Speaker 1: I don't think you can be both because the Lakers
- 41:35Speaker 1: are the greatest organization in the NBA history and the
- 41:41Speaker 1: most fun and the most dynamic and the most everything.
- 41:45Speaker 1: And Lebron James went there and and this is coming
- 41:48Speaker 1: from all my friends who are Laker fans, embarrassed the organization.
- 41:53Speaker 6: Wow, I know that's weird.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Oh that they feel that way because when he signed
- 41:58Speaker 4: the contract, then he moved. I remember, everybody wanted to
- 42:01Speaker 4: throw a parade.
- 42:02Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Well, these are all the guys that I know that
- 42:04Speaker 1: are Laker fans that tell me this.
- 42:06Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Oh man, we'll tell him to be sad now because
- 42:10Speaker 4: he's leaving. Okay, yeah, go to Lebron all right, well.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Go to wherever.
- 42:16Speaker 1: I don't know wherever they sent the pop up tent
- 42:18Speaker 1: and wasasco to sell jerseys, but go get to Lebron
- 42:21Speaker 1: jersey today.
- 42:22Speaker 6: Oh I am, I am, all right, I'm a Laker fan.
- 42:26Speaker 7: All right?
- 42:28Speaker 2: Oh my god, Yeah, I've never heard.
- 42:32Speaker 1: You know, we have a lot of Laker fans in Bakersfield,
- 42:35Speaker 1: and I all the guys that I know, they're Lakers fan.
- 42:37Speaker 1: None of them like Lebron James. I don't know why.
- 42:40Speaker 2: I don't know what.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I don't pay attention to basketball anymore since turned into
- 42:45Speaker 1: what it's turned into.
- 42:47Speaker 2: It's just not appealing to me. So but yeah, I
- 42:50Speaker 2: don't know anything.
- 42:50Speaker 1: I don't know any of the last however long the
- 42:53Speaker 1: Lakers have had Lebron James.
- 42:55Speaker 2: I have no clue what happened. But a lot of
- 42:57Speaker 2: guys don't like him. There's a lot of guys I know.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Well, now he's a seventy sixer though, so there you go,
- 43:04Speaker 1: throw me out top and then he all says he's
- 43:05Speaker 1: gonna sign with the seventy six ers.
- 43:07Speaker 7: Romeo, what brother, Hey, did you fact check that? Uh
- 43:11Speaker 7: that thing Seahawk Luke just said about what Lebron had
- 43:16Speaker 7: one of the seventy six ers.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I just saw it just came up on my
- 43:19Speaker 1: phone and then it, uh, it came up on my phone.
- 43:23Speaker 1: So I went to ESPN and it says Lebron chose
- 43:25Speaker 1: seventy six ers. I guess he's gonna sign a two
- 43:28Speaker 1: year contract with eight million dollars.
- 43:30Speaker 2: That doesn't sound like is he that.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Outdated that they're only gonna pay him eight million dollars.
- 43:34Speaker 2: For two years?
- 43:36Speaker 7: You know you're getting pretty old. How long fall the
- 43:39Speaker 7: time is undefeated?
- 43:40Speaker 2: Well, yeah, you're right about that, but that still don't
- 43:43Speaker 2: sound right.
- 43:44Speaker 7: You know, it's probably just to get somewhere, you know,
- 43:46Speaker 7: so he don't have to. I don't know what's going
- 43:48Speaker 7: on with the Laker thing with him, but yeah, he
- 43:50Speaker 7: did fall out, and uh, you know, the fans don't
- 43:54Speaker 7: appreciate it because I don't appreciate it.
- 43:56Speaker 6: But again, like you.
- 43:57Speaker 7: Said, Seahawk Lou always say something out there, and to
- 44:01Speaker 7: say he's a fan of Lebron have the Lakers that's
- 44:04Speaker 7: gonna be Yeah, it's for him.
- 44:07Speaker 2: I think that's blasphemous for him to say that.
- 44:11Speaker 7: A season I'll tell you that, right.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Is an idiot. We all know.
- 44:19Speaker 8: At this point, I think is just so, how did
- 44:22Speaker 8: they say that trolly?
- 44:24Speaker 3: Just trolling?
- 44:25Speaker 7: He's just trolley?
- 44:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, is not that smart. So I'm not even
- 44:31Speaker 2: I'm not even sure he knows who the Lakers are.
- 44:32Speaker 2: To be honest with you, you.
- 44:33Speaker 8: Know, I'm a Laker fan and I'm part of the
- 44:36Speaker 8: Laker organization. We didn't want Lebron to come and we're
- 44:41Speaker 8: not tripping that he's living.
- 44:43Speaker 3: So for him to say.
- 44:44Speaker 6: He's liked both of them, yeah, he's he's trolling.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I have ever I have not met one Laker fan
- 44:49Speaker 1: that I know that said they like Lebron James on
- 44:53Speaker 1: that Lakers team.
- 44:53Speaker 6: None of us did. No, none of us did.
- 44:56Speaker 3: And I'll give you an example.
- 44:57Speaker 8: I'm a Derek Carr fan, but when he left the
- 44:59Speaker 8: Raider that was it. I no longer was a fan anymore.
- 45:03Speaker 8: I had to cut him loose.
- 45:05Speaker 1: That's hilarious because when he left the Raiders, I became
- 45:07Speaker 1: a fan.
- 45:08Speaker 7: Wow, Hey, what's up man?
- 45:16Speaker 6: You know me, I left.
- 45:17Speaker 3: I didn't want nothing to do with the Lakers when
- 45:19Speaker 3: they signed him on.
- 45:19Speaker 6: You know what I mean? I was done.
- 45:20Speaker 3: Memory, I told you, I want to go support BC.
- 45:22Speaker 6: Better, you know what I mean, Like, I just don't
- 45:25Speaker 6: I don't care for the guy. I don't like him.
- 45:27Speaker 3: He's just I mean, I don't even care to even
- 45:29Speaker 3: watch him.
- 45:29Speaker 6: He's just a big old cry baby, aren't they?
- 45:32Speaker 2: Are They all big old yeah?
- 45:35Speaker 3: Now yeah, dude, that's all. It is a crying thing, dude.
- 45:38Speaker 3: But you know, roma it's funny to say about this
- 45:40Speaker 3: about Lebron that he went over there to the other team,
- 45:43Speaker 3: because a while back, I was at Rocks and uh,
- 45:46Speaker 3: this lady had just about a monthly night even a
- 45:48Speaker 3: month about a month ago, she bought a whole mo
- 45:52Speaker 3: man roam, like sixty jerseys that were there that were
- 45:54Speaker 3: Lebron James from the Lakers.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 45:56Speaker 3: And she's like, Oh, I can't wait.
- 45:58Speaker 6: I'm gonna double my money.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I heard her telling some lady on the phone.
- 46:02Speaker 6: She was all out.
- 46:03Speaker 3: I was like, six holes down.
- 46:04Speaker 6: I could hear.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Oh, man, I just came up.
- 46:06Speaker 7: I have a whole basketful.
- 46:08Speaker 3: Well, girl, I hope you kept your receipt because ain't
- 46:10Speaker 3: nobody gonna buy those things.
- 46:11Speaker 6: You gotta take them back.
- 46:14Speaker 2: That's pretty funny, you know what I mean, Bro.
- 46:16Speaker 3: But I mean, it's only done that as I might
- 46:18Speaker 3: buy on my BT hawk.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Who oh god, all right, get at here already fourteen
- 46:24Speaker 1: four seven and seven. Speaking of buying stuff, bro, it's
- 46:29Speaker 1: getting serious out here in these streets with these.
- 46:34Speaker 9: Uh.
- 46:34Speaker 1: I know, I don't I don't buy Pokemon cards and
- 46:37Speaker 1: I don't vote buy plushies. But I hear that it's
- 46:41Speaker 1: getting serious in these streets with these people buying these
- 46:44Speaker 1: Pokemon cards, waiting in line, h when and the plushy
- 46:49Speaker 1: lady or the Pokemon ladies whoever has to go stock them,
- 46:52Speaker 1: they're they're getting they're they're like attacking her to an extent.
- 46:58Speaker 2: I'm not physically, but they're being rude in there.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Uh, Bro, what's going on with these idiots out here
- 47:04Speaker 1: chasing pokemons and and and plushies?
- 47:07Speaker 2: Like I see lines? I guess there's lines.
- 47:09Speaker 1: I see lines out in front of I saw a
- 47:11Speaker 1: line at five below uh the other day. I mean,
- 47:16Speaker 1: what is that all about? Lines at Barns and Nobles.
- 47:19Speaker 1: I guess people are waiting in lines at targets and walmarts.
- 47:22Speaker 1: I guess some of these people actually know the days
- 47:25Speaker 1: that they stock Pokemon and that they stalk these plushies.
- 47:30Speaker 2: I mean, I didn't.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I guess these guys are getting real aggressive with each
- 47:34Speaker 1: other because they're buying them and reselling them.
- 47:36Speaker 2: It's it's pretty embarrassing.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Hey, Rom, I had to bug you on those on
- 47:40Speaker 3: those people waiting in line. Yeah, the other day I
- 47:43Speaker 3: went to that five dollars and below, uh huh. At Rome,
- 47:47Speaker 3: some lady started snapping on me, and I'm like, what's
- 47:50Speaker 3: wrong with this lady? She kept saying needles, needles. I
- 47:53Speaker 3: thought she would say needle, and I'm like, I'm not
- 47:55Speaker 3: here for no damn needle. What are you talking about?
- 47:58Speaker 3: And she well, you're cutting the line. And I'm like,
- 48:01Speaker 3: I know there was the line to get in the store.
- 48:02Speaker 3: I tell you, you know what I mean. I just I
- 48:04Speaker 3: was tripping Rome. I didn't even see them all up
- 48:05Speaker 3: in that corner pile up by that bassom robins right

- 49:52Speaker 1: best movievillain? I was watching Training Day and Denzel Washington
- 49:56Speaker 1: was just great. He was the best? Is he the
- 49:59Speaker 1: best bad guy in a movie ever?
- 50:02Speaker 2: Already?
- 50:03Speaker 1: Four two five, four seven to seven. I just right now,
- 50:07Speaker 1: I can't think of anybody. But maybe it's because I
- 50:09Speaker 1: just watched the movie yesterday. But now I just can't
- 50:13Speaker 1: think of who was the best? Maybe I don't know.
- 50:16Speaker 1: What'd you text me here?
- 50:18Speaker 3: Rome?
- 50:19Speaker 1: You got all these old heads calling in this morning.
- 50:22Speaker 1: I know they're all fighting with each other. It's kind

- 50:26Speaker 1: Four two five, four seven to seven. What do you

- 50:38Speaker 1: time we ever seen him play a real bad guy.
- 50:41Speaker 1: He's always kind of been the hero in all the movies.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Who do you think was the best villain in a movie?
- 50:47Speaker 1: The best bad guy? Like, I'm trying to think, Hey, Rome,
- 50:51Speaker 1: what about Heath Ledger The Joker? Which one was Heath Ledger?
- 50:56Speaker 1: Was he the one that ooh, the Joke?
- 51:00Speaker 2: Which? Now I gotta look at which Joker you're talking about?
- 51:04Speaker 2: Hold on, hold on, hold on. He's not the current one, right,
- 51:08Speaker 2: He's not the current one where.
- 51:09Speaker 1: They did the two Joker movies. Is he the one
- 51:16Speaker 1: that did the Joker and the Joker too? Or is
- 51:19Speaker 1: he the one that, uh he killed himself? Is that
- 51:22Speaker 1: the Heath Ledger if you're talking about, Yeah, Heath Ledger,
- 51:26Speaker 1: you're right. In the Dark Night? Is that the one
- 51:28Speaker 1: you're talking about, the one where he was the Oh gosh,
- 51:33Speaker 1: I can't think of it. Yeah that was He's a
- 51:36Speaker 1: pretty good Now you're right. He might be. He might
- 51:39Speaker 1: have been. Is that where he goes? And I'm trying
- 51:42Speaker 1: to figure it all out? Yeah, yeah, you might be
- 51:47Speaker 1: right about that. It might be Heath Ledger in the
- 51:50Speaker 1: in the Batman movies when he.
- 51:52Speaker 2: Played the Joker.
- 51:54Speaker 1: He's not the one that who played the one part
- 51:56Speaker 1: duel that stupid movie? Who was I didn't liked the
- 52:00Speaker 1: Joker movies, so I don't Uh, that wasn't Heath Ledger?
- 52:04Speaker 2: Right? Okay, you might be right.
- 52:07Speaker 1: He was a pretty good bad guy already. Four two, five,
- 52:09Speaker 1: four or seven to seven?
- 52:10Speaker 2: Do you think the.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Who do you think the best bad guy was in
- 52:14Speaker 1: a movie? What do you guys think was the best
- 52:16Speaker 1: movie villain? The best of all time? Who do you
- 52:18Speaker 1: think the best bad guy was? A?
- 52:20Speaker 3: Four?
- 52:20Speaker 2: Two, five, four or seven to seven? Yeo, Rome? Uh,

- 52:32Speaker 1: to be Hannibal Lecter.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Who. Hannibal Lecter was.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Absolutely an amazing bad guy. I would have to say
- 52:43Speaker 1: the Joker from the one that Heath Ledger played.
- 52:46Speaker 2: I think we're on the same page. That was pretty legitimate.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Hannibal Lecter played a pretty pretty good bad guy, though,
- 52:55Speaker 1: Denzel Washington. I'm trying to think who the best was, though,
- 52:59Speaker 1: There's got to be one that just stands out more
- 53:02Speaker 1: than more than anybody, right when it comes to a
- 53:05Speaker 1: bad guy or to a movie villain.
