- 1:01SPEAKER_03: So good to be here.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: So, Yaddi, tell us a little bit about your past.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Tell us a little bit about your journey into sharing transformational techniques and medicine with an ancient twist.
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: Well, um, I guess I'll start with the fact that I had no idea what I was here to be or to do.
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: And so for many, many years, uh it was it was uh a very uncomfortable place to be.
- 1:31SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: Because I could very successfully walk into any place and and you know, um make it to the top, if you would.
- 1:41SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:42SPEAKER_03: So you had uh you had ways, you had special powers.
- 1:45SPEAKER_03: Yes, and um and that comes from having had a uh childhood where I interacted with many different types of people.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Where did you grow up?
- 1:54SPEAKER_03: I grew up in Mexico.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:56SPEAKER_03: In in the state of Puebla, which is famous for this beautiful pyramid that's called Cholula.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:04SPEAKER_03: And it's the largest pyramid in parameter in the world.
- 2:07SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 2:08SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 2:08SPEAKER_03: It's a very potent place.
- 2:10SPEAKER_03: And um and so I mean, just just back to what I was saying about not knowing who I was, not that I didn't know who I was, I just there was no career in life or in my vicinity that held what I was here to do or be.
- 2:31SPEAKER_03: And I bring that up because even though, you know, on paper I was successful.
- 2:37SPEAKER_03: I went to UC Berkeley, I was um, you know, I I had an executive post at Televisa in the entertainment industry.
- 2:45SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 2:46SPEAKER_03: I I was not successful in my own, in my own inner knowing of self.
- 2:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:53SPEAKER_03: I had had my spiritual awakening in 2000, and yet I knew that I wasn't I wasn't contributing to the world in the way that I knew that I was supposed to be.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Thank you for sharing.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: So if we go back to your spiritual awakening, that part that a lot of us face, we all sometimes face a bit of suffering or challenge.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: What was the bit that opened up your mind and your heart to potentially another way of looking at life through a a spiritual lens?
- 3:24SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: They they say that when you have a goal and you achieve it, in my case, it was getting into the university that my father, it was my father's dream university.
- 3:36SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 3:36SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: And that when you get there and you're and you're going about it to fill a void, it will never satisfy you.
- 3:45SPEAKER_03: It's why people can become very outwardly successful and yet not and and want more.
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: And so when I finally arrived at Berkeley and it was a journey to get there, I I um I I didn't feel I didn't feel happy.
- 4:03SPEAKER_03: I didn't feel satisfied, I didn't feel what I assumed I would have felt by achieving that goal.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: And so it so happened that on my last semester, I did a semester abroad in Mexico.
- 4:15SPEAKER_03: And even though I had been, you know, I grew up half of my life in Mexico and I visited Mexico many times before, it was the first time that as an adult I was there.
- 4:27SPEAKER_03: And what really struck me was the poverty.
- 4:30SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 4:31SPEAKER_03: The extreme poverty.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: And I started to have existential questions for the first time.
- 4:37SPEAKER_03: Questions such as why, why am I, you know, why, why, why them and not me?
- 4:43SPEAKER_03: So for example, I'd come out of um a nightclub at four in the morning, and there was a child who was four years old selling me gum in the side of the street, or dogs that were malnourished and and dying on the streets.
- 4:58SPEAKER_03: And so when I came back to Berkeley, I had had a mentor who for this program that's called Mesa.
- 5:05SPEAKER_03: And it's basically uh we would go into underprivileged communities and we would teach math and science to the children.
- 5:13SPEAKER_03: How old were you at this time?
- 5:14SPEAKER_03: I was a I was um a junior, senior in college.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: So I had a mentor who was fascinating, and he would always say things that would go right over my my head.
- 5:27SPEAKER_03: I I understood like half of what he said, but I knew that there was something really special about him.
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:33SPEAKER_03: And it wasn't until I was ready when I came back from Mexico with existential questions, that that what he started to say made sense.
- 5:43SPEAKER_03: And it started to prompt questions.
- 5:46SPEAKER_03: And he said, Oh, you're ready.
- 5:49SPEAKER_03: And he took me into his office and we were there for about two hours.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 5:54SPEAKER_03: That felt like 15 minutes, where it where we I just, you know, the more he'd say, the more I wanted to know.
- 6:01SPEAKER_03: And he said, Okay, I'm gonna introduce you to my mentor.
- 6:04SPEAKER_03: Her name is Ife Tayu.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 6:07SPEAKER_03: And I said, Wow, I'm gonna meet a spiritual person.
- 6:11SPEAKER_03: I how do I even present myself to a spiritual person?
- 6:14SPEAKER_03: You know, do I said this is at UC Berkeley?
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: You know, and I was a party girl and I was I was a social activist, and um, and uh I just and I come from a family, my father, Mexican, grew up Catholic, my mother, Polish American, grew up Catholic, and both of them broke away from Catholicism.
- 6:35SPEAKER_03: And so we never spoke about God in our home.
- 6:38SPEAKER_03: Matter of fact, the word God had negative connotations.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and some ha some households do have that.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's because it's your own interpretation.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: Some of it has a lot of fear attached.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: So when that the word God to some people, you know, they want to run away from it sounds like that in your family.
- 6:55SPEAKER_03: It was colonialism.
- 6:56SPEAKER_03: It was the representation of colonialism, it was um oppress it was oppression, it was um it was a c it was ignorance.
- 7:06SPEAKER_03: You know, I came my father is an academic, he's the first Latin American to have gotten his PhD in computer science.
- 7:13SPEAKER_03: And he was like one five in the world at that time.
- 7:17SPEAKER_03: So, and my mother's an artist, both both very academic.
- 7:22SPEAKER_03: So it was so even though my father was into yoga and he was a renaissance man, like I said, the word God or having existential questions wasn't something that we freely discussed at home.
- 7:35SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 7:36SPEAKER_03: So that was when I met my my mentor, she saw that at so so anyway, so when I was like, wow, a spiritual person, am I pure enough to present myself?
- 7:46SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
- 7:47SPEAKER_03: Should I should I wear white?
- 7:49SPEAKER_03: How do I present myself?
- 7:51SPEAKER_03: You know, to it was it was so new to me.
- 7:54SPEAKER_03: And she came to me in the perfect form.
- 7:58SPEAKER_03: The movie The Matrix had come out, I think it was like 1999, was it?
- 8:03SPEAKER_03: Around there.
- 8:04SPEAKER_03: It was the second it was the second, I think.
- 8:06SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 8:06SPEAKER_03: So this was 1999, yeah.
- 8:07SPEAKER_03: No, this was 99, 2000, yeah, because this then the second one came uh shortly after my awakening.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:13SPEAKER_03: And I don't know.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: So was she wearing a long black coat or something?
- 8:16SPEAKER_03: I don't know if you remember the the Oracle.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:19SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 8:19SPEAKER_03: So she had long dreadlocks.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:22SPEAKER_03: She smoked American spirits.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:24SPEAKER_03: She cursed.
- 8:26SPEAKER_03: She lived in East Oakland.
- 8:28SPEAKER_03: She drove a hoopty doopti.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: What's a hoop-de-doopty?
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: It's w it's like an old school car that's like a lowrider car.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:35SPEAKER_03: And she picks me up in Berkeley, and just immediately I was like, oh, I don't have to be perfect.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: Well, how refreshing, right?
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: Because you know, if we if we listen to your story so far, and correct me if I'm wrong, right?
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: If if I'm really, really listening, and I pray I am, is that you know, your family, uh your your dad's very proud.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: And because he's very proud, you know, he's living vicariously through you getting into the dream university of being in Berkeley, right?
- 9:04SPEAKER_03: It was yeah.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: The next thing is your you know, your mother being an artist, you know, she's the creative one in the family.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: Not to say that they're both not creative, but artism is a little bit more creative than computer science, which is more logic.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: And you may be a blend of both to some extent.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: And this lady that comes into your life, she is offering a way where you don't have to be absolutely rigid and this is the way.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: She's showing you that you can be perfectly imperfect, smoking the Native American cigarettes and the long dreads.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: And what you thought, and you correct me if I'm wrong, what you thought was the image of purity.
- 9:46SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 9:47SPEAKER_03: Interestingly enough, it's what what a lot of t what I what I'm seeing, you know, because this was in 2000.
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:54SPEAKER_03: So since 2000, I've seen I've seen yoga studios open up everywhere.
- 9:59SPEAKER_03: I've seen an entire industry um move forward very successfully.
- 10:05SPEAKER_03: And interestingly enough, a lot of times the image that gets sold to us from that from that industry is what I feared I needed to be.
- 10:16SPEAKER_03: That I needed to dress in white.
- 10:18SPEAKER_03: You know, it's it's all about the light.
- 10:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 10:21SPEAKER_03: It's all about the light.
- 10:22SPEAKER_03: It's um the dark matter of fact, the darkness is is associated to toxicity, right?
- 10:29SPEAKER_03: So you're a dark night of the soul, rather than seeing the darkness, for example, as the womb of creation.
- 10:37SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: It's um it's that's a beautiful way to put it, the womb of creation, because when you're in the womb for nine months, as a fetus, it's in the dark.
- 10:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: The only thing you can hear is the mother's heartbeat.
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: And it's the it's it's the field of of of um it's what quantum physicists would call the field of consciousness.
- 10:57SPEAKER_03: It's the energetic realm.
- 10:59SPEAKER_03: It's what in Native American well, Meso Native Americans, so um the Aztecs, the Nawet culture refers to as that as the Nahual.
- 11:10SPEAKER_03: So it's the realm of energy.
- 11:12SPEAKER_03: It's the womb of creation where where it is nothingness and everything, infinite possibilities.
- 11:19SPEAKER_03: And then the tonal, which is the light, is consciousness.
- 11:24SPEAKER_03: It's that masculine energy that brings the seed, that brings life, that that creates now tangible physical reality.
- 11:33SPEAKER_03: And so what I've seen in our evolution, in our collective evolution, and in our awakening as consciousness as human beings, is that there's been a misinterpretation many times of spirituality.
- 11:50SPEAKER_03: Where, for example, I'm going back to, you know, how back back to when I started, just even the idea that um spirituality, awakening or um enlightenment required suffocating our physicality.
- 12:09SPEAKER_03: It meant, you know, um, in in you know, when I do kundalini yoga with one of another mentor that I had, it was the fasting.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: It was the the uh repression of our of our sexuality.
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 12:24SPEAKER_03: Of our our of our of our of what makes us earth, of what gives us, you know.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: So with that, are you saying that you had to prevent yourself from pleasure or whatever as a result of being able to go to the next level of whatever that is.
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: Exact as yeah.
- 12:45SPEAKER_03: So so I guess my reflection right now that's happening in real time is that what I f the way the way that I thought I needed to present myself to my first mentor, Ife Tayo, was as, you know, was was in that form of quote unquote purity.
- 13:04SPEAKER_03: It's very much what religion teaches us.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: So be the perfect girl, be the good girl, whatever that periods are, right?
- 13:10SPEAKER_03: Don't be embodied.
- 13:11SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 13:11SPEAKER_03: And and then that enlightenment meant very much negating our humanity.
- 13:18SPEAKER_03: And so even though she presented herself in in a way that was very embodied, there was periods of time where I thought that enlightenment required going off somewhere and meditating for ten years.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 13:36SPEAKER_03: Where it meant not nourishing the body, not following your pleasure, doing quite the opposite.
- 13:42SPEAKER_03: Interestingly enough, the patriarchy was very much embedded in the concept of spirituality in many ways.
- 13:49SPEAKER_03: Even in the way of associating darkness rather than as the divine feminine as toxicity, and the light as healing, as as beautiful as as you know, as life-giving.
- 14:04SPEAKER_03: When in essence it is the tonal, it's the masculine manifestation, regardless of gender.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:12SPEAKER_03: As I'm speaking of energy.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: It's almost like a blend of everything, right?
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: Because you can't appreciate a beautiful summer's day properly without recognizing there must be summer nights.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: So you need to have the both, you need to have the light, you need to have the dark.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: Because how would the light know it's light unless there's dark?
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: There would only just be like light.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: And that's I think what the whole the whole human experience is all about with this divine dichotomy.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: Which is that you are both perfect and you're both imperfect.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: And being human, we make mistakes, and the only way we actually learn is by making mistakes, which could be considered quote unquote dark when we make terrible errors.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: I know I've made loads of mistakes in my life.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: But who I wouldn't be who I am without having made those mistakes.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: And so that whole journey of trying to be perfect is very hard and almost impossible because it will break your nervous system.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: So I have a lot of compassion for people who feel like, oh, I need to be perfect, or I need to to please, or I need to do it's like, well, actually, and it's only until you're really authentically you and owning your errors or owning your mistakes or owning that character trait that you know is you know, maybe you're feeling angry, but you're owning it.
- 15:29SPEAKER_03: And and what I've discovered, right, is that in this duality, it's um it's not it's not um so the darkness, when you d stop associating it with toxicity and you recognize that it's the shadow, it's the interplay between the light and the darkness, then you're able to come into a expanded state of awareness that is based on unity consciousness.
- 15:59SPEAKER_03: Where it's when you're no longer in this good and bad, evil and heaven, you know.
- 16:09SPEAKER_03: Instead, you're able to recognize the darkness, like I said, is the womb of creation, the and and the light as the tangible, the m the physical manifestation.
- 16:22SPEAKER_03: And then the interplay between both is our humanity.
- 16:26SPEAKER_03: It's it's our shadow, it's where it's where we come in, and in order to learn, we have to be in ignorance.
- 16:34SPEAKER_03: And that that's it.
- 16:35SPEAKER_03: But to n but to not associate it to the feminine, I feel, is what at this time is bringing us into unity.
- 16:44SPEAKER_03: And unity ultimately within ourselves, because then we stop seeing the dark and the light as good or bad, and we recognize that we are both feminine and masculine, regardless of gender, and that it's that recognizing of both and honoring of both that then we're embodied and we're in our wholeness, and we're then ready to to live and experience life in an interdependent way with others that are also in their wholeness, rather than in codependency or in hyper independence, which is I feel the same.
- 17:26SPEAKER_03: It's it's a pendulum.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: And so as a as a consciousness, you know, when we embrace our whole selves, then we give others permission to do that too.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: Is that what you're saying?
- 17:39SPEAKER_03: We give others permission to do that too, and we recognize that we're an ecosystem in divine perfection.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: So going back to your story of Berkeley and meeting this mentor of yours, you managed to embody this information that she was sharing with you.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: And how did that sort of take you into being becoming a medicine woman?
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: How did that how did that sort of take you on the journey for your goddess council?
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: Because this is all like the the beginning points for yeah for the work that you've been doing.
- 18:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: So I would say that with her, they say that a good mentor is one that you just meet once and and everything shifts because magic is, you know, the the change of consciousness.
- 18:28SPEAKER_03: It's it's a change of perception.
- 18:30SPEAKER_03: And so what she provided for me was that she was the catalyst for me to see so clearly in a very embodied way, unity consciousness.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: And did you feel it, or was it just something that you had to learn?
- 18:46SPEAKER_03: No, it was in the moment.
- 18:48SPEAKER_03: It was it was literally as if somebody opens up a door and you're like, wow, there's the ocean, and you'd never even known the ocean existed.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: Wow, that's a beautiful way of putting it.
- 18:59SPEAKER_03: This is where um you and I one time coincided with uh Conversations with God by Neil Donald Rush because something that she left with me in that first meeting was a book.
- 19:12SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: And she said, she said, she's she told me to take it home that same night.
- 19:18SPEAKER_03: I I think I finished it that same night.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: You know, I had that experience in the very you know, this is why our paws are quite interesting, you know, albeit very different.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: But, you know, I had the same thing.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: A friend of mine, you know, bless him, he's passed away now.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: But he get he sent me that book.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: I I asked a question, I think it was in the year 2000.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: I said, listen.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: I need uh if there's anything else I really need to know.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: And my friend sent me a book, and he said, I've sent you a book, I think you need to read it.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: And I was like, okay, what is it?
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: He goes, just just read it.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: I can't explain.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: And it was a it was the book, same book, Conversations with God.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: And I was very lucky to have a fantastic conversation with Neil on the podcast, and we'll have a link there for you.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: Make sure you watch that, it's an absolutely amazing episode.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: And the dialogue was just fascinating to me.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: And like you, I finished it in the same night.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: I just stayed up all night reading that book.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: I was like, wow.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: And something opened within me.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: And I really love your analogy of like opening a door and seeing the ocean for the first time because it was an ocean of wisdom that was already inside, but I probably never surfed on.
- 20:33SPEAKER_03: And there's no unseeing it.
- 20:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:36SPEAKER_03: There's no so so for me, it was there was no going back.
- 20:42SPEAKER_03: That moment was um, I took it seriously.
- 20:46SPEAKER_03: I how could I not?
- 20:48SPEAKER_03: And so I've been riding that wave since that moment.
- 20:54SPEAKER_03: And obviously, along that, there's been, you know, because life moves in a spiral, like everything else, like like our solar system, all the galaxies, our DNA.
- 21:06SPEAKER_03: And so, in my, you know, in in all the cycles of my life, obviously there were many, many different lessons, but the foundational principle was that of unity.
- 21:19SPEAKER_03: And and so what happened, and so the reason that I started with I didn't know that I was a medicine woman.
- 21:28SPEAKER_03: Because when I graduated from school, I, you know, my it opportunities came by.
- 21:35SPEAKER_03: I was always pulled by media.
- 21:37SPEAKER_03: What were you what what did you graduate in?
- 21:40SPEAKER_03: It was, it was, um, I designed my own major.
- 21:43SPEAKER_03: It was American Studies.
- 21:44SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 21:45SPEAKER_03: So I was able to take courses in psychology, sociology, journalism.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 21:50SPEAKER_03: And um, and so media always found its way into my life.
- 21:57SPEAKER_03: So I started off right.
- 21:58SPEAKER_03: It was when we We thought that television was gonna move to the internet much sooner than it did.
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:05SPEAKER_03: Eventually it did.
- 22:06SPEAKER_03: And so it was a Latino online magazine that had a lot of um because I was in Silicon Valley.
- 22:12SPEAKER_03: And so it had a lot of funding from I think it was Japan.
- 22:17SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 22:18SPEAKER_03: And um, and so I was in charge of content for this Latino entertainment magazine.
- 22:24SPEAKER_03: And and so I say that because when I started to look for jobs, it was such a dire situation.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: Was it because your soul was not interested in the city?
- 22:36SPEAKER_03: Because there was no job that said medicine woman wanted.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:40SPEAKER_03: So many young people and parents of young people that are being ushered into the world are in this crisis with with uh AI.
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 22:53SPEAKER_03: AI is now removing plan B.
- 22:57SPEAKER_03: So meaning that everything that I did in my life to sustain myself was plan B.
- 23:03SPEAKER_03: I didn't know what plan A was.
- 23:05SPEAKER_03: And I didn't know plan A because it didn't exist as a job or as a career.
- 23:10SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 23:10SPEAKER_03: I had to create it.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: Love it.
- 23:13SPEAKER_03: And so and so now plan B is not an option because AI will do plan B, marketing, copywriting, etc., better than any of us can.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: But I am fascinated by something.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: Given how we've managed to get here, you know, in the last 20, 25, 26 years of having a spiritual awakening which is at crisis point.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: If life has gotten us this far, then even with the birth of AI, surely life will still find a way.
- 23:44SPEAKER_03: As a matter of fact, James, what I what I'm suggesting here is that now there's no other way but to be in our sacred purpose.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's a b that's a beautiful way of saying it.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: I mean, like, and how do you know you're gonna be in your sacred purpose?
- 23:59SPEAKER_03: Well, well, because I experienced it.
- 24:02SPEAKER_03: And I I know and I that's what I help people with.
- 24:05SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 24:05SPEAKER_03: So my entire method is designed to help people be in the embodiment, not just to do, because you could perform your sacred purpose really well.
- 24:14SPEAKER_03: I work with people that that are doing amazing things in the world from a place of doingness, from an over-exerted masculine masculinity, regardless of gender.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: So are we just talking strategy doing?
- 24:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you could do your sacred purpose.
- 24:30SPEAKER_03: Being it is a whole nother thing, and that's where my method comes in.
- 24:34SPEAKER_03: But I but just to go back to this concept of AI and the young people and this future generation, I believe that heaven on earth is a thriving ecosystem, and a thriving ecosystem requires that we all be in the embodiment of our sacred purpose.
- 24:52SPEAKER_03: And our sacred purpose does not exist as a career path.
- 24:57SPEAKER_03: Meaning that it is that for young people, the reason that I'm saying AI will do plan B, which is a good thing, because basically life is saying, listen, um, the plan B is forget about it, forget wasting your time, discover what your sacred purpose is, because in that is the medicine that you're here to be in the world, and it doesn't exist, it doesn't exist until you actually actualize it.
- 25:29SPEAKER_03: And so sacred purpose.
- 25:34SPEAKER_03: I know the contrast of having been very outwardly successful with a career in television and knowing that it wasn't the totality of my purpose, and how much suffering was in that.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: So when you're not actually living your sacred purpose, you feel you're suffering.
- 25:56SPEAKER_03: I I was um it was it was a yearning and a longing that I couldn't quite explain.
- 26:06SPEAKER_03: And it was and and there was even a period of time where I did not believe that I had a purpose greater than to supporting other people.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: What I have noticed is that with a lot of people who have outward success, there is also that feeling of inner turmoil sometimes if they haven't made peace with a certain thing.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: But I still believe that things are working out even if you've had external success, right?
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: And when you're talking about your media career, whilst we've been uh having this conversation, I've been really listening to you.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: And one of the things that sort of just sprung to mind that I just felt that dropped into the ocean of my awareness was that media is a great thing because essentially, even though you're working behind the scenes, helping other people thrive in the media industry, you were learning about becoming a messenger yourself.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: And, you know, your work and how you've been helping people, execs, athletes, people media personalities, very famous people.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: You know, you've been helping them r blend the inner harmony with their outer success.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: Because truthfully, you can't have great happiness and great success without the inner game.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: And at the same time, you being a wonderful messenger and media is all about messages, it's about sharing content, and you're doing that.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: You know, so even though you were thinking, I'm not on the right path, don't worry, you are on the right path.
- 27:43SPEAKER_03: Matter of fact, in one of the workshops that I give around Sacred Purpose is this medicine wheel that has four different aspects, and one of the aspects has to do with the skills that you've learned along the way.
- 27:58SPEAKER_03: So, and you may not even think that having worked at Starbucks or having you know uh picked up dog shit, you know what I'm saying?
- 28:08SPEAKER_03: Like literally, in my case, you know, uh back in Mexico and we had a large we had a large piece of land, and so it was my duty to pick it up while I was teaching yoga and getting my my stuff together.
- 28:21SPEAKER_03: So all of it, all of it, all of it, it plays a role because it's not about arrival as you know, it's about the journey.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: And so and Yeah, but you know, sometimes when you're in the you're doing a job and you're just trying to make ends meet, and you're doing a job, you're thinking, why on earth am I doing this?
- 28:41SPEAKER_03: Well, here here's the thing, because what so so like I said, so one of them, because I'm I'm I'm responding to this truth that you're bringing forward, which is that the journey even in the journey, what's so beautiful is we're co-creating and creating alchemy from even dire situations, is that all of it has a purpose when you recognize it as such.
- 29:05SPEAKER_03: So one of the other quadrants, aside from your natural skills that you've gathered along the way, has to do with the challenges.
- 29:14SPEAKER_03: And so in this, in this workshop, I teach how the challenges cease to be challenges when you see them as initiations.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: Well, that's a nice breath of fresh air because that's just a um a beautiful way of pivoting on something that we all have to go through.
- 29:32SPEAKER_03: And the initiation will point to who you're here to serve.
- 29:38SPEAKER_03: So in my case, this uncomfortability with being like, okay, I'm great at this, I'm great at that, but it doesn't fill me.
- 29:46SPEAKER_03: It's not, it's not fully what I'm here to be and do.
- 29:50SPEAKER_03: Because the whole time, my natural gift was right under my nose.
- 29:57SPEAKER_03: That's why I couldn't see it.
- 29:59SPEAKER_03: My natural gift was something I was doing my entire life.
- 30:04SPEAKER_03: Some people would have called it being an amazing friend.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: Some people would, I mean, I remember being in elementary school and I'd be in the kitchen with my friends' mothers, counseling them.
- 30:17SPEAKER_03: It was so easy for me and so natural that I never saw that I didn't see it as a gift.
- 30:23SPEAKER_03: I thought, well, it's so easy.
- 30:24SPEAKER_03: What do you mean?
- 30:26SPEAKER_03: And so that happens to many of us.
- 30:27SPEAKER_03: So it's so all of that to say that the contrast of being very outwardly successful yet not being fulfilled was so jarring for me because it was part of my initiation.
- 30:40SPEAKER_03: And it was my initiation because who am I here to serve?
- 30:44SPEAKER_03: People initially, it was people who I transitioned from a nine to five into their sacred purpose in a way that was sustainable.
- 30:54SPEAKER_03: And for other people, it was, or for you know, my my one-on-one clients now are the people who are very outwardly successful already doing their life's work.
- 31:04SPEAKER_03: In my case, media, television, and the kind of television I was doing was not my life's work.
- 31:10SPEAKER_03: I clearly can see that and knew that even then.
- 31:13SPEAKER_03: But some people are actually doing their life's work very successfully with so much impact, and yet they're not in the embodiment of it.
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: And so that's who I'm here to serve.
- 31:25SPEAKER_03: So I needed to have gone through the crisis of what it feels like to not be in your purpose, to know who, you know, to have that piece of the puzzle from this from this medicine wheel, because that's a very uncomfortable stems back from your Mesoamerican roots, this medicine wheel.
- 31:44SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: Beautiful.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: And this is where our paths are quite interesting because you know I serve very high-performing men who are definitely living their purpose, but trying to find that element of balance because in my journey, I was out of balance, and so when I found myself seeking balance, that's when everything started to make sense again.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: And so being able to serve these types of clients became like my natural proclivity to where this is where I need to go, this is where I need to be, and share the message on the podcast and sharing with wonderful guests such as yourself.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: You know, this this is how we help, by sharing the message.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: These are the ways we stay in balance by being understanding certain areas.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: Strategy is not being, strategy is only doing.
- 32:34SPEAKER_03: Which is very necessary.
- 32:35SPEAKER_03: It's the masculine container that guides us.
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: We need that.
- 32:39SPEAKER_03: And yet if we if we are if it's at the sake of the divine feminine within us that is connected to source energy, that is connected to intuition, to a sense of knowingness, then it's it's out of bounds.
- 32:53SPEAKER_03: And I feel that for me, that wisdom came by way, not I feel I know, it came by way of the of one of my other very important mentor who is from Mexico.
- 33:06SPEAKER_03: Her name is Shanat, and she's who I did my initiations with.
- 33:11SPEAKER_03: And they were in um I still work with her, profound initiations into the divine feminine principles.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: And tell me about the divine feminine principles.
- 33:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so there's 13 of them.
- 33:24SPEAKER_03: And um and so when you do this work with regardless of gender, there is a profound connection to planetary memory, to a connection to the Earth Mother, to recognizing nature as a living being with consciousness.
- 33:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 33:46SPEAKER_03: And prior to Shannat, I was very much, I describe it as very much living from my heart chakra up.
- 33:57SPEAKER_03: It wasn't grounded.
- 33:59SPEAKER_03: It wasn't it wasn't wisdom that I was that I was coming to from embodying, maybe, which is the bottom path, the lower three chakras, right?
- 34:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 34:08SPEAKER_03: From from my connection to to earth and my connection to my lineage.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 34:17SPEAKER_03: My connection to my ancestry.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: Can I just go back to this question question because I think this is important.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: A lot of people may live in two different ways.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: Some may live three chakras down, which is like your your lower chakra, your bay chakra, which is to do with security.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: Then and then, of course, your emotions and sex and money, and then up to your third chakra, which is about power.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: And a lot of people who are outwardly successful may live from these three areas.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: And then there are other people who have spiritual understanding or spiritual wisdom, people who, you know, like seem a bit more airy at first, you know, airy f but they come from the heart up.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: And there's two different sets of people walking the planet, some with the the lower three and then and then the others with the upper three.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: Now, it's only when you actually embody all of it that can you be outwardly and inwardly successful.
- 35:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: And one of the easiest ways, if you find yourself being hot up to towards the spiritual, which is the crown chakra, is you need to spend more time in Mother Nature.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: Really simple.
- 35:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: And do what you say you're gonna do, which is practical.
- 35:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, which is very interesting because the way that I see it is uh in, you know, my exploration, I would say, these last eight years has very much been about the sacred masculine rising.
- 35:43SPEAKER_03: There was so much work that I that I've done and continue to do, obviously, in the divine feminine, that then my exploration turned towards the sacred masculine principles and wondering, well, where are they, what are they, and what are the archetypes?
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 35:59SPEAKER_03: Because the divine feminine archetypes, I mean you said yes, and expressed in so many different ways through so many different um uh arch cultural archetypes.
- 36:10SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 36:10SPEAKER_03: Where you can find, for example, an archetype of Kuan Yin being uh very similar in vibration to the archetype of uh one of um uh uh Mother Mary, for example, to give another one that isn't known like commonly known.
- 36:29SPEAKER_03: But in this tradition with the original uh clan mothers, it would be loves all things.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 36:36SPEAKER_03: So it is the it's the heart, it's it's the heart chakra um archetype, right?
- 36:43SPEAKER_03: And and so anyway, so with working with the divine feminine archetypes, I was very interested about well, where are the masculine ones?
- 36:51SPEAKER_03: All of that to say that in my work, what I have found is that when we are leading our lives out of balance from the heart chakra up, we're in distorted feminine energy.
- 37:02SPEAKER_03: We are it's it's the classical, like full of ideas and inspiration, but zero landing them.
- 37:09SPEAKER_03: Zero commitment, tangible action to create a container for the same thing.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because uh as a as a as a masculine energy, masculine energy is this is what I plan to do.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: Doing, this is what this is what I do is doing.
- 37:23SPEAKER_00: In my take of the divine masculine and the divine feminine, correct me if I'm wrong, is we're about doing, and the the feminine is about being.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: So we want an act of service to the feminine to the best of our ability.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: Because men, when we're in our center and when we're feeling amazing, it's because we're serving our feminine to the best of our ability.
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: We want to provide, create security, create safety, uh also, you know, just just to be able to make comfort for the feminine.
- 37:53SPEAKER_03: And so what I would just say is that it's not about men, that it's about energy.
- 38:00SPEAKER_03: So I work with a lot of women, for example, that are very successfully um in their in their recognized careers and have sacrificed their divine feminine energy to be part of a system that, by the way, is falling apart as we speak, that makes it so that we're we the idea of being cyclical doesn't exist.
- 38:23SPEAKER_03: It's all about linear timelines, it's about deadlines, it's about ignoring the physical body for the well-being of the intellect and the goal setting and et cetera, et cetera.
- 38:35SPEAKER_03: It's it's toxic masculinity.
- 38:37SPEAKER_03: But it's not a man, it's uh it's it's an energy, right?
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: Is it not just us, is it just like a system created on something that used to work but doesn't work anymore?
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: Well, my well, so my sense is when we're out of balance in the and and we're in the embodiment of, like you said, the the solar plexus, which is our sense of I am and down, then we are in our toxic masculinity.
- 39:08SPEAKER_03: So we're operating with with so much solar plexus energy, but at the sake of everything else.
- 39:14SPEAKER_03: So it's the dynamic where you can't get pregnant if you're a woman.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: That makes sense.
- 39:21SPEAKER_03: It's the dynamic that when you're a man, you um you're not connected to your emotional well-being.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: Which which which affects your relationships, right?
- 39:30SPEAKER_03: Affects everything in your life.
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: And if you're trying to date, you know, in even in the heart.
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: So you're just trying to give and love what you think love is as an is a transaction, but it's not a transaction.
- 39:41SPEAKER_03: Because your sense of worth comes only from what you do and what you provide.
- 39:46SPEAKER_03: But that's not just on men.
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: That's that's the that that is experienced as an energy regardless of gender.
- 39:54SPEAKER_00: So if it was an energy, what energy would that be?
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: Would that be frustration?
- 40:00SPEAKER_03: So if we have the divine feminine expression and we have the sacred masculine expression, the distorted feminine is like I said, ideas, intuition, but without grounding any of it with zero discipline, with zero container.
- 40:16SPEAKER_03: And the distorted masculine, right?
- 40:19SPEAKER_03: The toxic masculine energy, it's the doing, but not in not not for the higher good, but to achieve, to conquer, to colonize.
- 40:31SPEAKER_03: And so I would say that it has done us a great disservice to be in the toxic masculine expression.
- 40:40SPEAKER_03: And I'm not saying bec uh men, it has nothing to do it because women can be in a very toxic.
- 40:47SPEAKER_03: I mean, a lot of a lot of women have raised the men, right, uh, to be disconnected from their meaning it has nothing to do with gender, it has to do with energy.
- 40:59SPEAKER_03: So we are in a time, we have many different timelines accessible to us.
- 41:05SPEAKER_03: And the one I'm choosing to co-create, right, is the one where in our wholeness, in our respect for our feminine and our masculine energy, we recognize that we are co-creators, and that we're co-creating with you could call it source, you could call it God, goddess, the great mystery, Allah, infinite intelligence, infinite intelligence.
- 41:32SPEAKER_03: And so, and yet, in order to co-create, because we're all co-creators whether we're in awareness consciously of it or not.
- 41:43SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 41:43SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 41:44SPEAKER_03: So what it means to be Toltic, for example, is not a race.
- 41:50SPEAKER_03: It's not even a cultural identity, though it can be, it's a state of being.
- 41:56SPEAKER_03: So the word Toltic literally translates to those who mold themselves to their own liking.
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: So So, in another word, that could be self-acceptance.
- 42:07SPEAKER_03: It's self-acceptance.
- 42:09SPEAKER_03: It's self-acceptance in the and and the recognition that um in the recognition that we're co-creating both what we love and what we don't love.
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: Or what we prefer and what we don't prefer.
- 42:25SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 42:25SPEAKER_00: Well that's night and day, isn't it?
- 42:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: So it's the contrast and that's reality that you do enjoy.
- 42:34SPEAKER_00: Um there's something I want to share.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: It's like I've told this story before, but it makes me laugh when I think about it.
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: Is that whenever you're experiencing something challenging in your life, the contrast, it's the manure.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: I remember my grandma used to pick up manure all the time, and I was like, Why are you picking up this manure?
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: And she picked it up in a bucket and spade and carried it with us all the way home.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: And she goes, It's for the roses, darling.
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: It's for the roses.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I was like, only about seven or eight.
- 43:03SPEAKER_00: And when we got back to her garden, she plunked all this manure on these roses, and she had dozens and dozens of these spectacular roses.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: I mean, they smelt lovely, obviously the manure didn't, but I I just my young mind thought that whenever there's difficulty or there's crap, that is the fertilizer for something beautiful.
- 43:25SPEAKER_00: That's something beautiful, and I could see it with these roses, I could see it with these flowers.
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: And I wasn't a keen gardener, but she just showed me stuff.
- 43:34SPEAKER_00: And I remember thinking to myself, you know, even now as we look out into the garden, it's like stunningly beautiful.
- 43:40SPEAKER_00: Just all the colours that I get to see just remind me that in order to have beauty, sometimes you need to have the contrast, the dark, the womb, you know, that birthing of the challenge for something beautiful to grow out of it.
- 43:57SPEAKER_03: So what I would what so what I would say Is that it's not that we need the womb, the darkness, because the darkness is beautiful.
- 44:07SPEAKER_03: It's not the challenge, it's not the contrast.
- 44:11SPEAKER_03: The womb is the field of infinite possibilities.
- 44:15SPEAKER_03: The light is the choice of what you're going to co-create.
- 44:20SPEAKER_03: And the shadow, which is the challenges, are what I would see as the core limiting beliefs.
- 44:27SPEAKER_03: And so in the system, the methodology that I created, it's energy, we see it as energetic imprints.
- 44:34SPEAKER_03: And so the energetic imprints are the beliefs that are like that are light codes, literally light codes that we're co-creating with.
- 44:45SPEAKER_03: And so, for example, one belief can be in order to grow and flourish, I need challenges.
- 44:52SPEAKER_03: That's a belief.
- 44:54SPEAKER_03: And then we can create alchemy from it.
- 44:57SPEAKER_03: Yet when we when we pull out and we go eagle eye on all of it, and we recognize that we can co-create whatever we want, we can then start to question well, is that something that serves us or have we graduated from that?
- 45:13SPEAKER_03: Because most of us have that belief that in order to grow, that you know, there's growing pains or that there, you know, that there need challenges, right?
- 45:23SPEAKER_00: I don't think you need challenges.
- 45:24SPEAKER_00: I think they come.
- 45:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think I think they come whether you like it or not.
- 45:29SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 45:29SPEAKER_03: And so I guess my my thing to like my my thing, like the beyond, beyond, right?
- 45:36SPEAKER_03: The be because where we have been, I'm sure in these last 26 years, like we had our spiritual awakening more or less at the same time.
- 45:44SPEAKER_03: And it's been a journey.
- 45:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 45:46SPEAKER_03: And there's levels to it, right?
- 45:48SPEAKER_03: And yet I see a beyond, beyond, and not just you and I, but like our whole collective, right?
- 45:54SPEAKER_03: Our soul collective can be like, okay, maybe we no longer need to um have that belief that life brings us challenges, and therefore that's how we learn and we make the best of it.
- 46:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 46:08SPEAKER_03: And so that's where all of a sudden, I feel our next quantum leap is going to be.
- 46:14SPEAKER_00: I was gonna ask you what do you reckon the next level for humanity is, but you're kind of answering it at the same time.
- 46:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: That's and and I It's kind of saying you don't need challenges in order to grow.
- 46:25SPEAKER_00: You can grow anyway without necessarily having challenges.
- 46:28SPEAKER_03: And wouldn't it be amazing?
- 46:30SPEAKER_03: Wouldn't it be amazing to open up to the possibility?
- 46:35SPEAKER_03: And I'm saying that because you every time we run into each other, you you say, wouldn't it be amazing when you catch me right in a in a in a in a certain thought pattern.
- 46:45SPEAKER_03: So wouldn't it be amazing to open up to the possibility that there is a new dimensional frequency that awaits us where learning need not come from any form of contrast.
- 47:01SPEAKER_00: Or pain or suffering.
- 47:03SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 47:03SPEAKER_00: Challenge.
- 47:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 47:05SPEAKER_03: Where where rather than alchemizing something manure, we can invest that life force energy in co-creating something entirely different that can help the version of ourselves that are back where we didn't even know we could alchemize that shit.
- 47:27SPEAKER_03: For example.
- 47:29SPEAKER_00: So I just want to yeah.
- 47:31SPEAKER_00: Okay, I but I like it because it's like, wouldn't it be nice if we can navigate life in a smooth, easy way, which doesn't have to cause suffering.
- 47:41SPEAKER_00: If we simplify it.
- 47:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:43SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: I just wanted to go back to something that you do in your work.
- 47:47SPEAKER_00: One of the things that you go back to in your work is, you know, you you identify these light codes of limiting beliefs or beliefs that don't serve you.
- 47:54SPEAKER_00: What kind of beliefs show up in your work that you've noticed with a lot of your clients?
- 48:00SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 48:01SPEAKER_03: Um I feel that most of us somewhere in our own expression, we have one having to do with self-worth.
- 48:09SPEAKER_00: Where why does that sort of seem to happen again and again, or at least you notice that again and again?
- 48:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I I have a sense, I have a sense that a lot leads us to colonialism.
- 48:23SPEAKER_03: So why do I call it an energetic imprint?
- 48:25SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 48:25SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 48:26SPEAKER_03: Because it's not just the belief.
- 48:29SPEAKER_03: The belief, the belief is the nucleus.
- 48:33SPEAKER_03: And there's an ecosystem around each belief, which is an energetic imprint.
- 48:39SPEAKER_03: And the ecosystem is made up of the behavioral patterns that we have chosen as coping mechanisms.
- 48:50SPEAKER_03: And those behavioral patterns also around them have what I call the emotional cocktails.
- 48:59SPEAKER_03: So when we are exper when life says, like it does, what you believe is true, even if you're not in awareness that you believe what you believe because it's in your subconscious, here's this experience.
- 49:13SPEAKER_03: That's what we call being triggered.
- 49:15SPEAKER_03: Life is triggering us because it's saying, yeah, that belief that really sucks, that you may not even know that you consciously own is being activated.
- 49:25SPEAKER_03: Here you go, here's the example, here's the experience.
- 49:27SPEAKER_03: We have an emotional response.
- 49:30SPEAKER_00: The trigger.
- 49:32SPEAKER_03: And that emotional response, in way, is then is then tied into our behavioral pattern that's a coping mechanism.
- 49:41SPEAKER_00: Makes sense.
- 49:42SPEAKER_03: And so then what happens at the biological level is that we start to build neurological connections in our brain that have very solid pathways.
- 49:51SPEAKER_03: And those solid pathways can be can be followed all the way down, and we can even recognize where they come from from our family lineage.
- 50:00SPEAKER_03: Oh, my mom had a similar one.
- 50:02SPEAKER_03: Hers was slightly different because we're all unique.
- 50:06SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 50:06SPEAKER_03: Oh, her mother had another one that was pretty much the same thing except in its own expression.
- 50:12SPEAKER_03: And we can literally follow it all the way back.
- 50:14SPEAKER_03: And then the really painful thing is when you're a parent, is that you can see it then in your children.
- 50:20SPEAKER_00: You know, I was reading about this just like the other day.
- 50:24SPEAKER_00: One of the hardest things as a parent is the shame that one feels when you see that limiting belief in your children.
- 50:32SPEAKER_00: I can't imagine what that feels like, but it's a reflection or a mirror being shown up to you going, I didn't mean to pass that down.
- 50:40SPEAKER_00: But here it is anyway.
- 50:42SPEAKER_00: And that's why in the Bible they said the sins of the father will be cast upon the son.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: But actually, in actual truth, it's the energy of the family.
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, don't worry, we'll pass it down.
- 50:50SPEAKER_00: In fact, vibrationally, because it's within me, you pass it down anyway.
- 50:55SPEAKER_00: So that is why when C people say don't, you know, you don't teach through words, you actually teach through embodiment.
- 51:01SPEAKER_00: Through embodiment, right?
- 51:03SPEAKER_03: And and so so, in in this method, in this method, what we do is we start to build new bridges, new neurological connections in our brain that start to render a brand new reality.
- 51:17SPEAKER_03: And so how we do it is by deconstructing the ones that already exist.
- 51:22SPEAKER_03: And how we do that is by recognizing first and foremost what they are.
- 51:26SPEAKER_03: Now that requires a level of accountability that not everybody wants to be ready for.
- 51:34SPEAKER_03: For a lot of people, it seems easier to be a victim of circumstance than to do the work necessary to take accountability for the fact that the same way in which we co-created a lot of wonderful stuff is the same way that we co-created really painful stuff.
- 51:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 51:52SPEAKER_03: And yet our liberation is in that accountability.
- 51:57SPEAKER_03: Because the moment that we take accountability is the moment that we recognize that we can co-create something entirely different.
- 52:05SPEAKER_03: Which is I what I recognize is one of one of the emotional cocktails that gets in the way of that process is shame.
- 52:16SPEAKER_03: Because shame would would make us deviate from anything that would sit us in front of the mirror, right?
- 52:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because you were wanting to avoid immediately.
- 52:27SPEAKER_00: Any shame is like, let me avoid, I don't want to do this.
- 52:30SPEAKER_03: You project it or you run away, right?
- 52:34SPEAKER_03: And so and so the first step is taking that accountability for the fact that we are co-creators.
- 52:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 52:40SPEAKER_03: And that's when we take our power back.
- 52:43SPEAKER_03: And then the journey starts with the method that I that I created.
- 52:48SPEAKER_03: The journey starts in identifying what these energetic imprints are.
- 52:53SPEAKER_03: Not just the core limiting belief, but the entire ecosystem.
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: So are we talking about like the feeling that comes around with these types of beliefs that you don't even know that you have, or you you may be aware that you have.
- 53:05SPEAKER_03: It's the ecosystem.
- 53:06SPEAKER_03: So the ecosystem has the core limiting belief as the nucleus.
- 53:11SPEAKER_03: Surrounding that is the emotional cocktail.
- 53:14SPEAKER_03: It's that trigger when life says, Yeah, that belief is true.
- 53:16SPEAKER_03: Here you go.
- 53:17SPEAKER_03: And then it's that it it's those, it's it's the chemical reaction that happens at a biological level that feels uncontrollable because it is, and which by the way, we become addicted to biologically over time.
- 53:32SPEAKER_00: It's interesting.
- 53:32SPEAKER_00: You can become addicted, I'm addicted to feeling good, right?
- 53:35SPEAKER_00: So meaning I'm addicted to to feeling like ease, I'm feeling calm, feeling like happy, feeling you know, just like these sort of higher emotions.
- 53:47SPEAKER_00: I've actually conditioned my nervous system to feel like safe and comfortable and happy.
- 53:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: But before my emotional, nervous, biological, you know, piano was just all over the shop.
- 53:59SPEAKER_00: And don't get me wrong, from time to time things do play.
- 54:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 54:02SPEAKER_00: But I'm fully aware what's happening inside my nervous system.
- 54:05SPEAKER_00: But maybe that's just because I've been meditating for so long.
- 54:08SPEAKER_00: I'm fully aware of what's surfacing, you know, all the time.
- 54:11SPEAKER_00: It's like a new wave of something new surfacing.
- 54:13SPEAKER_03: Aaron Ross Powell Because you've been on this journey actively as an active participant participator.
- 54:19SPEAKER_00: And also like fully 100% like everything is I'm responsible for everything that happens in my life, whether I like it or not, at some level, whether I'm aware of it or not, I feel that I've created.
- 54:34SPEAKER_03: What happens then, right, when we become addicted to these emotional cocktails, is that then our emotions dictate our behavior.
- 54:44SPEAKER_03: So then the next layer to this ecosystem is our behavioral patterns that we go into in in automatic, reinforcing the core limiting belief.
- 54:56SPEAKER_03: And so what initially what we do in this process is we identify these ecosystems.
- 55:05SPEAKER_03: But in order to identify them, it requires go uh healing the inner child, meaning going to our to our to our formative years.
- 55:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 55:16SPEAKER_03: And in our formative years, we start to recognize that these energetic imprints have actually been passed down from one generation to the next, to the next, to the next.
- 55:26SPEAKER_03: So now it's our job and our responsibility to no longer pass that beaten baton to the next generation, but rather to I to in recognizing that we're co-creators, becoming aware of when we get triggered.
- 55:44SPEAKER_03: And in essence, uh unraveling the whole energetic imprint so that we know what's happening.
- 55:50SPEAKER_03: And the good news is that in my experience, there's no more than seven of them.
- 55:55SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 55:56SPEAKER_03: So there's between five to seven of them.
- 55:58SPEAKER_00: Seven five to seven core triggers, is that what you say?
- 56:03SPEAKER_03: It's it's uh that that are active to one degree or another.
- 56:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 56:06SPEAKER_03: And so when we have rock bottom moments, generally it's because all of them are out partying at the same time.
- 56:14SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 56:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 56:15SPEAKER_00: It's a nice way of putting it.
- 56:16SPEAKER_00: Um I do think triggers are actually a blessing, you know, even though they don't feel like them when they're happening, because they're just uh a mirror to say what's going on and and what needs addressing.
- 56:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:28SPEAKER_00: So when you have a partner or you're in a partnership and you get triggered, it's actually a blessing because they're just showing you what needs to have you need to have a look at and what you can take accountability at.
- 56:38SPEAKER_00: And I'd say what you can rectify and how you can find safety again within your nervous system.
- 56:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:44SPEAKER_00: And that person may be showing you where you're out of balance.
- 56:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 56:48SPEAKER_00: And even though it's really uncomfortable, avoiding it is not gonna make it any better because it will just resurface again.
- 56:55SPEAKER_00: Because ultimately, as you said, you know, the body wants to keep repeating the same emotions again.
- 57:01SPEAKER_00: So you a conditioned response biologically.
- 57:04SPEAKER_00: It's like the chemicals, like Joe Dispenser talks about, it's like you keep repeating those same chemicals again and again.
- 57:10SPEAKER_00: It's like that cocktail is like, I want that again.
- 57:12SPEAKER_00: I want that again.
- 57:23SPEAKER_03: So your triggers, like you said, like that they're a good thing.
- 57:26SPEAKER_03: Absolutely, they're a good thing.
- 57:28SPEAKER_03: Because when you're triggered, that's the only opportunity you have to recognize your core limiting belief.
- 57:34SPEAKER_03: I'm feeling triggered.
- 57:36SPEAKER_03: Okay, why am I triggered?
- 57:37SPEAKER_03: Okay, what's my inner dialogue?
- 57:39SPEAKER_03: Oh, well, that life is really hard.
- 57:41SPEAKER_03: That no matter how hard I try, it never happens.
- 57:45SPEAKER_03: No, okay, oh, that's a belief I have.
- 57:48SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 57:49SPEAKER_03: And so when when else have I felt this way?
- 57:53SPEAKER_03: As far back as I can remember.
- 57:56SPEAKER_03: Oh wow, when I came home very excited about that B that I got, and my father said you could have gotten an A.
- 58:05SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 58:06SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 58:07SPEAKER_03: And so how does it feel?
- 58:10SPEAKER_03: I feel hurt and angry, frustration, and humiliation.
- 58:16SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 58:17SPEAKER_03: Where in your body do you feel it?
- 58:19SPEAKER_03: In my heart, in my stomach.
- 58:22SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 58:23SPEAKER_03: And what's your behavioral response when you feel that way?
- 58:27SPEAKER_03: I get defensive, or I quiet down and I don't speak my truth.
- 58:32SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 58:33SPEAKER_03: What's radically different behavior?
- 58:36SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 58:37SPEAKER_03: Well, to recognize first and foremost that I'm being triggered, to feel my emotions, to hold myself through it, recognizing that the part of me that's addicted to that emotional response is my wounded inner child.
- 58:53SPEAKER_03: So not making myself wrong for it.
- 58:56SPEAKER_03: And then radically different likely would be to confront the dynamic from a place of grounded truth.
- 59:04SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 59:05SPEAKER_03: Now we have what the medicine is because the ecosystem has the medicine in it, which is a radically different behavior.
- 59:13SPEAKER_03: The situation is that when we're triggered, the last thing likely we we want to do is the radically different behavior that's required.
- 59:23SPEAKER_03: But that's where we start to do the resistance training.
- 59:27SPEAKER_03: And every time we do that resistance training, what we are saying and what we are embodying is I no longer believe this to be true.
- 59:36SPEAKER_03: Well, what is it?
- 59:37SPEAKER_03: Well, that no matter how hard I try, I'm never gonna do it.
- 59:41SPEAKER_03: So in my radically different behavior, I'm saying, hey, life, I I I believe that.
- 59:49SPEAKER_03: I understand why I believe that.
- 59:51SPEAKER_03: Not only does it come from my father, it comes from my great-great-great-grandfather.
- 59:54SPEAKER_00: Because his father told him you could have bought an A, but you didn't, yeah.
- 59:58SPEAKER_03: It's not true.
- 59:59SPEAKER_03: And so in my affirmative behavior, I'm rewiring myself.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_03: So what is it that I'm doing?
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_03: More so than rewiring, uh what we're doing is we're dismantling those neurological connections in our brain that have passed on that baton, and we're now building new connections with that radically different behavior.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_03: What does that radically different behavior bring with it?
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_03: A new emotional cocktail.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_03: And that new emotional cocktail is that is what then slowly we start to become addicted to.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_00: So a new behavior creates potentially a new way of dealing with things, which becomes a new habit, which becomes your personality, which then becomes your personal reality.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_03: In my words, it would be the new, the radically different behavior affirms a new belief system.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_03: And in affirming that new belief system, we life starts to mirror back to us a whole nother different reality.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_00: So as soon as we start to see little breadcrumbs of things being different, you know, that is when you know you're on to it.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't even call it breadcrumbs.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_03: I would call it miraculous moments of awe and synchronicity.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_03: Because life is regenerative in nature.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_03: The moment that we start to affirm a new belief, immediately magical, dynamic, magical because it's it's just like, oh my gosh.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_03: Life is beautiful.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh, there's a billboard sign that's gone up with zero advertisement, and it's pervadum affirming my new belief.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's just um it's so give me an example of something that you've seen, or uh, you know, a transformation that you've seen that has just gone wow in your own experience.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_03: Um, I like to use an experience.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_03: I have a lot of clients that live in Los Angeles.
- 1:01:58SPEAKER_03: They do a lot of freeway driving.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_03: And it happens on a regular basis.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_03: Uh an energetic imprint that I find that a lot of us have has to do with our romantic life.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_03: And it has to do with with basically love being codependent in one way or another, affirming our val our sense of worth, et cetera, et cetera.
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_03: So when there's a shift, when there's there's account, when we start to take accountability for that belief that has that's affecting our romantic experience, what I have found with so many of my clients is that they start to affirm with their behavior a new belief system that in essence is affirmative to the fact that we're interdependent, not codependent or hyper-independent, that there's a possibility to be an interdependence.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_03: And so the moment that there is a shift and that life starts to mirror back uh this new belief system, they'll be driving down the freeway, and literally a new billboard will go up that will say, you know, love is unity consciousness, no?
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_03: Or or something that speaks to interdependence.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_03: So they'll be like, wow, and then they'll put on you know, Spotify and the suggested song.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_03: It's all about this kind of love that's inter interdependent.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_03: So now, because they're in awareness, naturally there's this emotional cocktail of well-being, of awe, of of of wow that's running through their system.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_03: They show up at the coffee shop, they're in a state of expansion.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_03: They overhear a conversation taking place, they engage with the people that they're overhearing.
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_03: Next thing you know, those people are soul tribe.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_03: Next thing you know, those people introduce that person to their divine counterpart.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_03: And so that person didn't have to move across this the country or come to Europe.
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_03: All they had to do was be in presence.
- 1:04:05SPEAKER_03: So that's the thing.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_03: If we're not present, then you drove right past the billboard sign.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_03: If you're not present, you turned on the music, you didn't listen to the lyrics, let alone engaged with strangers at a coffee shop.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_03: Meaning that in order for this building, yeah, I call it the tending of the garden, in order for for that to actually work and give fruits, it requires the lifestyle of being present.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_03: And so then one would say, well, then how do I ensure a lifestyle of being present since it's so important?
- 1:04:41SPEAKER_03: Because the the same happens on the opposite side of the garden, where the r where the weeds start to grow up again.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_03: Because life is still mirroring all those old narratives.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_03: Well, if you're not present, you're not present to your ch the change of your emotional, of your emotional being.
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_03: Next thing you know, you're on automatic engaging in behavior that now has you on a downward spiral, and you're like, what happened?
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_03: I was good just three minutes ago.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_03: Well, you weren't present to that emotional cocktail that was letting you know that you were being triggered.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, in a in a way, I'd probably describe that as you're in the doing mode instead of being in the being mode.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_00: And I think when you start to become a little bit more aware of life, you're more present to life and the little signs and signals that you get.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_00: So if one of your clients or yourself was down on the freeway and then just starting to see billboards, you know, that's you being open to life and having a conversation.
- 1:05:40SPEAKER_00: And I really, really believe this that you know, life is always having a conversation.
- 1:05:45SPEAKER_00: You know, if we go back to you know, full circle with the beginning of our story, is that conversations with God is it says on the top of the front of the book an uncommon dialogue, but it's actually not true, it's a common dialogue because that relates.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_00: Relationship that you're having with life is happening all day long.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_00: But the question is, are you aware of it?
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_00: And when we have limiting beliefs, you can question them whether they're true or not.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_00: And that's the you know the fundamental principles of your work.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_00: You know, it's like you question those beliefs.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_00: Are they true?
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_00: Well, if they're not true, let's create a new neural pathway, let's create a new habit, let's create some new behavioral ways of living that are different than what I've been doing, or my ancestors have been doing, my parents have been doing.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_00: You know, like I definitely say in my family, I am a pattern breaker.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_00: And everything that I've learned, I've taken the best bits and I've pivoted and alchemized the, you know, the bits that I didn't like that were challenging.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_01: I hear you.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_00: And it's just part of life.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_00: And I think that I really appreciate speaking with you about this and the work that you're doing because you're bringing that beautiful Mesoamerican native wisdom to this and being able to help so many people who are not only performing at a high level, but also just needed to be reminded of this wisdom that they forget.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_00: We all forget at some level.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_03: I I want to just come full circle with sacred purpose.
- 1:07:12SPEAKER_03: Because ultimately my work is about sacred purpose.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_03: And when we recognize that the only way in which we can we can actively be co-creators is by being present.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_03: Then the question is, well, how how do I how do I nurture a lifestyle of being present?
- 1:07:31SPEAKER_03: And so a lot of people uh think, well, it's through yoga or meditation.
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_03: And what I have found is that that's the pathway for many, but definitely not the pathway for all.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_03: And so then the question is, well, what is the pathway?
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_03: And the pathway is personal.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_03: The pathway is being in the embodiment of our sacred purpose.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_03: And so what does that mean?
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_03: Well, that means that we have a healthy inner child who's connected to our sacral chakra, which is our life purpose, what brings us joy leading the way.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_03: And so then that brings us back.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_03: Well, in order to be in a state of flow, meaning in our sacred purpose constantly as a lifestyle, what we need to do is do the inner work to heal that inner child.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_03: So it becomes a full circle.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_03: So it's kind of well, what comes first?
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_03: Well, it's it's a it's um it's a it's an organic process that requires both.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_03: The inner, the the inner child healing is essential to be in the embodiment, not just the doing this, but the embodiment of our sacred purpose.
- 1:08:44SPEAKER_03: Because for some people, being in a in a natural state of flow is a mixture of you know, playing the drums and public speaking and working with children and hiking in nature.
- 1:08:55SPEAKER_03: For some other people, it could be something entirely different.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_03: And so what determines that is what brings you joy, true heartfelt joy.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_03: And how it comes together is your medicine.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_03: It's what you're here to share with the world, with the collective.
- 1:09:12SPEAKER_00: And our joy can be, you know, like some people it could be riding waves, some people could be painting, making music, you know.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_00: I what what what are some of your joys?
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_00: This.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, conversing.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_00: It's so funny because I, you know, like even when I started this podcast, I was like, I don't want to do this, I don't want to do that, I don't want to expose myself.
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_00: But that's the light, and that then then, of course, you know, the light, and then there's the shadow.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_00: It's like you're more afraid of your own light than you are of your shadow.
- 1:09:41SPEAKER_00: But ultimately, this is so easy, it's so natural, it's so easy to to share and be candid.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_00: It's like, you know, after a while, like why not?
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_00: You know, it's more fun to be real than you know, hide.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_00: And you know, whatever it is that anybody's doing and listening, just just remember it's what's personal for you is is your own way, and you've just got to find your own little things that bring you joy.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_00: And and as soon as you do, I know your life will change.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_00: I've I've watched my own life change just by following the path of joy.
- 1:10:13SPEAKER_00: And that and it doesn't feel like work when you're doing it.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_00: And I mean it really doesn't.
- 1:10:17SPEAKER_00: I mean, people you you hear it, but it's like, no, okay, there may be admin involved, sure.
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_00: But the actual it's just the beingness, it's easy, it's and it's and it's of service.
- 1:10:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:10:28SPEAKER_03: And it and and it's of service.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_03: And not only is it of service, but it's it's sustainable and it's part of the new economy.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_03: It's part of the new economy, and it breaks away from the old energetic imprints of colonialism, which say that work is burdensome, that you have to vacation out of work.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_03: In the Native American system of knowledge, we see work as play.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_03: It's in the same house as summertime, it's in the same house as our inner child.
- 1:11:00SPEAKER_03: There's no division between work and joy.
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_03: It's one thing.
- 1:11:07SPEAKER_03: And so it's a whole new concept that then says, Well, then how do I justify getting paid if if it's my joy?
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_03: So that's where we need to start to rewire ourselves because all of us have a money story.
- 1:11:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_03: And it has to do with with some serious imprints that were passed down to us that have to do with in in essence slavery to one degree or another.
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_03: But money's made up.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_03: That too.
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know, if you look back a few thousand years, people trading pins and feathers, now it's just like paper, or now it's like transfer.
- 1:11:40SPEAKER_00: But ultimately, it's about you feeling safe to recognise that when you love what you do, when you enjoy what you do, that is a value exchange.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_00: And I'm telling you, when you're being of service, it will find you.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 1:11:54SPEAKER_00: Found me.
- 1:11:55SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_00: And I I was the one who was trading time for money, you know, and and it was just like, yeah, okay, it works.
- 1:12:02SPEAKER_00: And sometimes you need to do that for a little while.
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_00: But seriously, if you can follow what you I want to say, if you follow what you enjoy and you just do it for fun.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_00: I mean, if you look at someone like Michael Jordan who was doing basketball, I mean he was just trying to outdo his brother before he started playing basketball like really well, and then of course one thing led to another.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_00: And you look at any athlete, they're all enjoying what they do.
- 1:12:24SPEAKER_00: Okay, they're the challenges with physical form.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_00: But you could anything that you enjoy doing, you there is a way life will support you doing it.
- 1:12:34SPEAKER_03: Without a doubt.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_00: As long as you enjoy it.
- 1:12:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:12:37SPEAKER_00: And you know, even if life takes you off that path, and maybe you're an athlete and then suddenly you find yourself being a coach, that's all right.
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_00: You've all find it.
- 1:12:46SPEAKER_03: It's all it all and all of it is a part of it.
- 1:12:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_00: And I find it fascinating what you're doing and and everything that you've shared today, you know, because I know you have something coming up that's pretty epic.
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_03: I would say that none of this for me, James, would have been possible without community.
- 1:13:03SPEAKER_03: Without Soul Tribe, we're not intended to be doing this thing called life by ourselves.
- 1:13:09SPEAKER_03: So, in part, that's how the Goddess Wisdom Council came together about eight years ago.
- 1:13:15SPEAKER_03: And we have a monthly membership that's virtual.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_03: So people from all over the world.
- 1:13:19SPEAKER_03: And it's the last Sunday of every month.
- 1:13:23SPEAKER_03: And uh, anyways, it's uh I uh the 3 p.m.
- 1:13:27SPEAKER_03: uh eastern United States, 9 p.m.
- 1:13:30SPEAKER_03: European time.
- 1:13:32SPEAKER_03: Uh anyway, so there's that, and then as part of the Goddess Wisdom Council, we have retreats around the world.
- 1:13:39SPEAKER_03: And even though they draw mostly women, they've always been open for anybody.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_03: And the next one is in It's gonna be in Baja California, in Todos Santos, where there is this incredible energy from the whales that are in that region.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_00: Big waves as well, big wave surf place, Todos Santos.
- 1:13:57SPEAKER_03: As well, and uh and the place is called Tribu.
- 1:14:00SPEAKER_03: And it's and and the theme, every every time that we have a retreat, there is a theme.
- 1:14:06SPEAKER_03: And the theme for this one is tribe, soul tribe.
- 1:14:10SPEAKER_03: And it's about us coming together and co-creating together and recognizing that our future is being woven by all of us, and that we're not isolate, we can't do this in isolation, and it requires it requires a strong ecosystem.
- 1:14:31SPEAKER_03: And a lot of times we're learning.
- 1:14:33SPEAKER_03: We're learning how to, we're learning, I'm seeing with relationships, and I'm speaking romantic relationships.
- 1:14:40SPEAKER_03: I know it's been a hell of a journey for me to break the model of codependency and then hyper-independence to come into interdependence.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_03: And not only are we breaking that model, but we're also breaking that model in our friendships with our colleagues, and we're learning in real time how to come into interdependent community.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_03: And so that's what we're exploring and that's what we're building.
- 1:15:05SPEAKER_03: It's gonna be January of 2027.
- 1:15:09SPEAKER_03: I don't quite remember the dates, but it's the first week of January.
- 1:15:13SPEAKER_00: I have the dates.
- 1:15:14SPEAKER_00: It's between the 5th and the 9th.
- 1:15:15SPEAKER_00: Nice in January.
- 1:15:16SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 1:15:17SPEAKER_00: So if you're interested, reach out and I'll have all the links and everything below this video where you can where you can share and you can learn more about Yaddy and her work.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_00: And uh if you are interested, do check out the Goddess Wisdom Council.
- 1:15:29SPEAKER_00: That might be for you if the online thing at the end of every month it's a community where you have support.
- 1:15:35SPEAKER_03: It's virtual and we always we have a theme.
- 1:15:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:15:38SPEAKER_03: And again, it's it's mostly women, but though it's open for everybody.
- 1:15:44SPEAKER_03: And I do feel that right now we're coming into a time where I was promoting I work with a lot of male clients, that they'd be having their own circles, and there's a lot of men's circles now.
- 1:15:55SPEAKER_03: And I feel like now we're at a time where we're ready to come together.
- 1:16:00SPEAKER_00: You know, like even with my work, is you know, I'm I'm already sort of initializing and thinking about bringing, you know, my high-performing clients together, just in small intimate groups, because I think supporting each other, because when you're with eagles, eagles want to be with eagles, they don't want to be with pigeons.
- 1:16:14SPEAKER_00: So having this sort of support group to be able to explain, to talk, to share, yeah, it is incredibly powerful.
- 1:16:22SPEAKER_00: And I always noticed that whenever you and I connect, it's very easy and flowing.
- 1:16:26SPEAKER_00: There's always something new to talk about.
- 1:16:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:16:29SPEAKER_00: I just want to say, yeah, they just like one last thing for the for the audience that's somebody listening.
- 1:16:34SPEAKER_00: What do you think the most important thing is people need to hear right now?
- 1:16:40SPEAKER_03: The most important oh there is this beautiful traditional song that we sing in sweat lodges that says, um, Sol el Tejedor.
- 1:16:54SPEAKER_03: So I'm I'm the I'm the one being woven and I'm the weaver.
- 1:16:59SPEAKER_03: Meaning that we are we are co-creators.
- 1:17:03SPEAKER_03: And so, as dire as as it could look at times, our collective consciousness and what's happening, we are weaving a new matrix, I believe, of unity through diversity.
- 1:17:16SPEAKER_03: And the old matrix of separateness is decaying, it's falling apart, it's not sustainable, and we are the ones weaving the new emerging earth.
- 1:17:30SPEAKER_03: And and to and to take our rightful place because all of us are a piece of the puzzle.
- 1:17:37SPEAKER_03: We all need each other.
- 1:17:39SPEAKER_00: Beautiful.
- 1:17:40SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for coming on the show.
- 1:17:42SPEAKER_00: So enjoyed speaking to you.
- 1:17:44SPEAKER_00: Um, and I hope you guys listening, whether it's on Spotify, Apple, or on YouTube, I hope you've enjoyed it.
- 1:17:50SPEAKER_00: And if you have, please remember to like, subscribe, and share.
- 1:17:54SPEAKER_00: And if you think there's somebody out there who could really do with listening to some of the wisdom that Yaddy shared today, please share it with them because you know this community is growing thanks to you.
- 1:18:06SPEAKER_00: And uh, I just really appreciate and love all of you, and thank you so much indeed for tuning in.
- 1:18:11SPEAKER_00: And just one more time, a big thank you to Yaddy for being on the episode.
- 1:18:15SPEAKER_03: It's been my pleasure.
- 1:18:16SPEAKER_00: Fantastic.
- 1:18:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, thank you so much.
