- 0:04Speaker 1: Simone Show on seven tenor.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Oh, it's already too hot. It's gonna be a heat
- 0:17Speaker 2: wave for two days. You're gonna be sweating more than
- 0:20Speaker 2: Bill Gates yesterday testifying of that Epstein committee. It's is
- 0:23Speaker 2: gonna be very hot. Cool off a little on Saturday
- 0:27Speaker 2: and Sunday. Should be a nice weekend. Rain possible later
- 0:30Speaker 2: today tomorrow, but it's gonna be great. It's gonna beautiful outside.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Lots of sunshine too over the weekend. Hey, a lot
- 0:39Speaker 2: to get to. We'll get to the Knicks, the amazing
- 0:41Speaker 2: ending of that game, the greatest comeback in the NBA
- 0:44Speaker 2: playoff history. Then we'll get to the Knicks. We'll get
- 0:48Speaker 2: to President Trump. We'll get to SpaceX, we'll get to Platner.
- 0:52Speaker 2: We'll get to Bill Gates. Bad day for him yesterday,
- 0:55Speaker 2: although he handled himself pretty well. We'll get to a Ran,
- 0:58Speaker 2: of course, and a whole lot more Nicks last night,
- 1:01Speaker 2: and many people gave up and went to sleep. Why
- 1:03Speaker 2: did that game run so late? Usually that ends about
- 1:06Speaker 2: eleven ten or so. It went a little later, a
- 1:09Speaker 2: little longer. People have to get up early. Went to
- 1:13Speaker 2: sleep and a lot of people. Yeah, I mean it
- 1:17Speaker 2: was it was bad. I mean the Knicks were getting
- 1:19Speaker 2: killed for most of the game. Just thought it wasn't
- 1:22Speaker 2: going to turn out well and left and you saw
- 1:24Speaker 2: some of the celebrities in the seats were on their
- 1:27Speaker 2: phone and you might say, wow, they really lost interest
- 1:29Speaker 2: around that. No, they were actually texting their drivers when
- 1:32Speaker 2: to pick them up, where to pick them up. But
- 1:34Speaker 2: the ending unbelievable. This come from behind. The Spurs totally
- 1:40Speaker 2: dominant the first half, third quarter, pretty good, but then
- 1:44Speaker 2: they kind of decided to just, you know, just try
- 1:48Speaker 2: to melt down the clock and started to coast a
- 1:51Speaker 2: little and the Knicks came to life, and of course
- 1:54Speaker 2: the dramatic endings.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Shut that's gone, that's gone. Look one point too, Bernader,
- 2:04Speaker 3: Let's take the lead. Oh Bo's little seven little.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Sex a most unbelievable moment.
- 2:12Speaker 4: That's that it's over. But Green has come back and
- 2:16Speaker 4: NBA tie off history. But let's pull off but lorl
- 2:20Speaker 4: to come back and lead at three games to London.
- 2:24Speaker 2: No one more away from up titled.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Now, the amazing thing when that happened, you they shut
- 2:33Speaker 5: shot the celebrities and that you could see Taylor Swift
- 2:36Speaker 5: jumping up and down, dancing.
- 2:39Speaker 2: They cut the Seinfeld arms jumping up and down, waving
- 2:43Speaker 2: his arms. They cut to Larry David just standing there, frozen,
- 2:49Speaker 2: no expression. Nothing is going to get him to look
- 2:52Speaker 2: excited that. If that didn't get him excited, nothing will.
- 2:56Speaker 2: But it was a great, great, great night, and quite
- 2:59Speaker 2: a victory there at the So the next game is
- 3:01Speaker 2: Saturday night, San Antonio. That's a better place to win.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Let him win in San Antonio. Maybe maybe less rioting
- 3:09Speaker 2: here as a result. Now, after the game, of course,
- 3:11Speaker 2: there was a lot of crazy fans. They were jumping
- 3:14Speaker 2: up and down, stomping on the hoods of cars, and
- 3:18Speaker 2: some mayhem. I think about fifty people were arrested for
- 3:22Speaker 2: some reason. These crazy the ones that were rioting and
- 3:25Speaker 2: causing trouble. Palestinian flags. They're waving Palestinian flags. What the
- 3:30Speaker 2: hell does this have to do with the knicks. You
- 3:32Speaker 2: maybe have seen that video. Some influencer Seinfeld is coming
- 3:37Speaker 2: out and he gets right in his path, right in
- 3:39Speaker 2: his face with the microphone, and he said, what about
- 3:42Speaker 2: a free Palestine? What do you think about a free Palestine?
- 3:45Speaker 2: And Seinfeld said, it doesn't exist. There is no Palestine,
- 3:49Speaker 2: so and just kept walking. For some reason, they started
- 3:52Speaker 2: a zero in on Seinfeld about Palestine. He's getting hit
- 3:57Speaker 2: with this wherever he goes and hit with Israel store.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I don't know why. I mean, well, yeah, he's Jewish,
- 4:03Speaker 2: but so most comedians. But I don't know why for
- 4:06Speaker 2: some reason to keep going after Seinfeld on that, which
- 4:08Speaker 2: is silly because obviously he loves Israel. But he's also
- 4:11Speaker 2: a guy who has never, in fifty years in front
- 4:15Speaker 2: of a camera and a microphone ever had a political
- 4:17Speaker 2: thought ever. So he's certainly not going to have anything there.
- 4:20Speaker 2: But it was an amazing, amazing night for the Knicks.
- 4:24Speaker 2: So tonight we're going to hit Iran. The President actually
- 4:28Speaker 2: announcing it, we will hit Iran tonight. He didn't say
- 4:32Speaker 2: it was definitely tonight, but he said, we'll take carg Island.
- 4:36Speaker 2: That is the big oil facility of Iran. That's where
- 4:39Speaker 2: they store the oil, that's where they export the oil.
- 4:42Speaker 2: They've got oil wells all over the place, but it
- 4:44Speaker 2: all comes to carg Island. Their entire oil industry goes
- 4:48Speaker 2: through carg Island. If we were to blow that up,
- 4:52Speaker 2: that'd be the end of the oil industry. In Iran,
- 4:55Speaker 2: it would take for many, many, many many months, maybe
- 4:59Speaker 2: years rebuild it. Their economy, their oil industry would be
- 5:03Speaker 2: crippled until then. But the problem is if we blow
- 5:06Speaker 2: it up, it's gone for a couple of years, and
- 5:09Speaker 2: then that's going to drive the price of oil up
- 5:11Speaker 2: even more. So we don't want to do that. So
- 5:12Speaker 2: that's why he's saying, we'll be very simple to just
- 5:15Speaker 2: destroy Carg Island. But that's why he's saying we'll take it.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Does that mean boots on the ground could be But
- 5:21Speaker 2: there are ways to take Carg Island. We could just
- 5:24Speaker 2: blockade it and take control of it, even if their
- 5:27Speaker 2: boots on the ground. It's okay. We've had boots on
- 5:29Speaker 2: the ground twice now in Iran. Both times were to
- 5:33Speaker 2: rescue the pilot pilots shot down, but a lot of
- 5:37Speaker 2: boots on the ground. We put a lot of equipment, planes,
- 5:40Speaker 2: we built runways, all kinds of stuff on the ground,
- 5:43Speaker 2: and we're able to protect everybody just fine. But tonight
- 5:47Speaker 2: could be a big night attack in Iran.
- 5:49Speaker 6: We hit them hard yesterday and we're gonna hit them
- 5:53Speaker 6: again hard today. In case you missification, you don't turn
- 5:56Speaker 6: on your television set and we'll see what happen with
- 6:00Speaker 6: the deal. We were really close to a deal, but
- 6:02Speaker 6: they keep tapping us along, they keep playing.
- 6:04Speaker 7: Us for suckers.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Yeah, they keep stretching. Time is the only weapon Iran
- 6:08Speaker 2: has right now. And I think was Hexath said we
- 6:12Speaker 2: can negotiate with bombs. We can do it that way too.
- 6:15Speaker 2: But their oil industry is shut right now. They've got
- 6:18Speaker 2: absolutely no revenue. They're probably just a couple of weeks
- 6:22Speaker 2: away from being totally out of cash, not being able
- 6:24Speaker 2: to make payroll. So tonight is a big night. Do
- 6:27Speaker 2: you know we've been taking out now. That's the other
- 6:30Speaker 2: big announcement the President made yesterday. You always hear about
- 6:33Speaker 2: the straight of Hormoose closed. Well, technically it's closed, but
- 6:38Speaker 2: but we've been We opened a sliver of it to
- 6:41Speaker 2: bring a lot of oil out. We've brought out one
- 6:43Speaker 2: hundred million barrels already. Price of oil is down. It's
- 6:48Speaker 2: eighty nine dollars right now, down from whatever was one
- 6:51Speaker 2: hundred and nine. You notice when it's down twenty five
- 6:53Speaker 2: dollars a barrel, no mention of it on the news.
- 6:56Speaker 2: It's not a story. If it goes up ten dollars
- 6:58Speaker 2: a barrel. It's the lead story on the nightly news.
- 7:01Speaker 2: If it drops twenty five dollars a barrel, no mention,
- 7:04Speaker 2: They don't even mention it. So, but we've actually escorted
- 7:11Speaker 2: a lot of ships out. We've actually opened the other
- 7:14Speaker 2: side of the straight of Horn Moose. We've created a
- 7:16Speaker 2: path where two hundred ships have safely traveled through the strait.
- 7:21Speaker 2: We brought out one hundred million barrels already, President Trump
- 7:26Speaker 2: revealing that yesterday.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Do you know we've been taking out millions of barrels
- 7:30Speaker 6: of oil?
- 7:32Speaker 8: Nobody knows that, you know, who doesn't know about it?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Iran until right now.
- 7:37Speaker 6: We've took out the other night, twenty two ships late
- 7:40Speaker 6: at night with no lights because they don't have any radar,
- 7:43Speaker 6: because we've blasted the crap out of it.
- 7:46Speaker 2: We took out.
- 7:46Speaker 6: That's why oil's eighty five dollars a barrel.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Yeah, we did it late at night, middle of the night,
- 7:51Speaker 2: no lights, they're transponders shut off, escorted by a US military.
- 7:58Speaker 2: A lot of ships, two hundred ships have gotten through
- 8:01Speaker 2: the straight oh Horn Moose. So they estimated it's about
- 8:06Speaker 2: one hundred million barrels of oil came to the market
- 8:09Speaker 2: that way. So the Knicks, We're going to have a
- 8:13Speaker 2: watch party for last night's game, you know, right outside
- 8:17Speaker 2: the garden. And then they had to cancel at the
- 8:19Speaker 2: last minute because the city, who was giving him such
- 8:22Speaker 2: a hard time, they didn't want the watch party outside
- 8:24Speaker 2: the garden. Then the city insisted to be limited to
- 8:27Speaker 2: a thousand people. Then the city insisted it be tickets only.
- 8:31Speaker 2: You have to give out tickets to get in, and
- 8:35Speaker 2: they finally just decided to cancel it. They couldn't deal
- 8:37Speaker 2: with the city. So James Dolan went on sports radio.
- 8:41Speaker 2: He actually called in wand to go in the air.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I mean, it's the best if you'll announced the watch
- 8:45Speaker 2: party's over sports radio, best place to do it. But
- 8:48Speaker 2: he went on there but really took some shots at
- 8:51Speaker 2: the mayor, James Dolan pointing out that his actual words, Mom,
- 8:57Speaker 2: Donnie and Tish are not experienced enough to handle a
- 9:01Speaker 2: major event, not experienced enough to handle the security measures
- 9:05Speaker 2: you need for that. Well, you know, he's got a point. Actually, Mom,
- 9:10Speaker 2: Donnie actually has no experience that anything, never had a job,
- 9:15Speaker 2: never worked in any profession. Jessica Tish had been in
- 9:21Speaker 2: the police department for years but it was really as
- 9:23Speaker 2: an it person, it's just no actual law enforcement experience
- 9:26Speaker 2: before becoming commissioner. Done a good job, but again, yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 2: not a lot of experience.
- 9:31Speaker 9: Now.
- 9:32Speaker 2: I don't know why, but and Dolan upset. They created
- 9:34Speaker 2: this frozen zone that was ridiculous. It was okay when
- 9:37Speaker 2: the President was there, they closed like everything around Madison
- 9:41Speaker 2: Square Garden within like five blocks in any direction frozen zone.
- 9:45Speaker 2: But they did it last night. Nobody understands why.
- 9:47Speaker 10: Here's James Dolan, you have an easier chance of getting
- 9:50Speaker 10: into area fifty one today than you do into Madison
- 9:54Speaker 10: Square Garden.
- 9:54Speaker 11: You know it's really the Mayor's office, right.
- 9:57Speaker 10: I cannot explain that on this but it makes absolutely
- 10:02Speaker 10: no sense at all.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a really crazy frozen zone for blocks
- 10:06Speaker 2: in every direction.
- 10:07Speaker 12: Even if you come by train or by subway, they're
- 10:10Speaker 12: not letting you up. They're going to fort They're going
- 10:13Speaker 12: to push you outside of the of the the forbidden
- 10:17Speaker 12: zone and make you come through magnetometers, the.
- 10:22Speaker 11: And you're going to have to show that you have
- 10:24Speaker 11: a reason to be there.
- 10:25Speaker 10: Right, And this is all really designed around stopping people
- 10:30Speaker 10: from celebrating around Madison Square Guard.
- 10:34Speaker 11: That's what this is?
- 10:35Speaker 2: What frozen zone? All right? You can understand the president's
- 10:38Speaker 2: there after three assassination attempts, you can certainly understand it.
- 10:41Speaker 2: But what were worried about last night? Ben Stiller? Most
- 10:46Speaker 2: people and they see Ben still it's a two snap
- 10:48Speaker 2: to go. What's his name? You know he's kind of
- 10:51Speaker 2: forgotten about now More James Dolan.
- 10:53Speaker 10: Honestly, the Mayor's office and I'm sorry the commissioner or
- 10:57Speaker 10: two write do not have the experience to do this, right.
- 11:01Speaker 6: That's mayor Mom, Donnie and Jessica Tissues, the police camp.
- 11:04Speaker 10: I mean, they have never managed anything like this before.
- 11:07Speaker 10: And it's like peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's coming
- 11:10Speaker 10: out the sides.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Good for him, Good for him, somebody need to say it.
- 11:15Speaker 2: They don't have an experience. Who's the guy talking to
- 11:17Speaker 2: that's Craig Carton. It sounded like more Dolan.
- 11:20Speaker 11: They don't want the celebration. The I can't tell.
- 11:24Speaker 10: You why they don't want the celebration right the I'm
- 11:28Speaker 10: not sure they know why they don't want.
- 11:29Speaker 11: To celebrate, but they clearly don't want it.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Well case of Jessica Tish, you know, he's just being
- 11:37Speaker 2: overly cautious, doesn't want any trouble in case of Mom Donnie.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I think he doesn't like people celebrating. He doesn't want
- 11:43Speaker 2: to see you happy. You know, he's a socialist. They
- 11:45Speaker 2: like to see you walking around waiting in a breadline, scowling.
- 11:48Speaker 2: The socialists. They don't want to see you happy. They
- 11:50Speaker 2: don't it's not good smiling having fun at a real
- 11:54Speaker 2: left winger. They don't like that at all. Let's here,
- 11:57Speaker 2: it's more Dolan.
- 11:58Speaker 10: All I would say to the Mayor and to the
- 12:00Speaker 10: Commissioner is right, believe in New Yorkers. Believe New Yorkers
- 12:05Speaker 10: can handle this right. We're the greatest city in the world.
- 12:08Speaker 10: We got the we got the greatest citizens and fans
- 12:10Speaker 10: in the world. They are not going to turn this
- 12:13Speaker 10: right into the well.
- 12:17Speaker 2: A nice thought, but you see the other night stopping
- 12:20Speaker 2: on that police car putting one hundredents in it.
- 12:22Speaker 10: Trust first in your own police departments that they can
- 12:25Speaker 10: handle it right, and then trust the fans themselves.
- 12:28Speaker 11: That they're not maniacs. Right, they're enthusiastic.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, we'll get to a Platt They're coming up
- 12:35Speaker 2: a little later. So Bill Gates had to go before
- 12:39Speaker 2: the Epstein Investigating Committee and testify about his relationship with
- 12:45Speaker 2: Jeffrey Epstein. He had quite a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 12:49Speaker 2: He was very tangled up with Jeffrey Epstein. He spent
- 12:53Speaker 2: a lot of hours and a lot of nights in
- 12:56Speaker 2: that townhouse. And there were a lot of women around,
- 12:58Speaker 2: not under age, they were older when but what the
- 13:04Speaker 2: hell was he doing there? Obviously it was for women,
- 13:06Speaker 2: you know the reason this happens. Sometimes you can say, well,
- 13:10Speaker 2: the guy's the multis the richest, most famous guy on earth.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Can't he get all the women he wants? It doesn't
- 13:16Speaker 2: quite work that way. I probably could, but he doesn't
- 13:18Speaker 2: know how to do it. He's not built for that.
- 13:19Speaker 2: He's not set up for that. He's got a huge
- 13:22Speaker 2: staff of people that know how to get all kinds
- 13:24Speaker 2: of things done that they don't know how to get done.
- 13:27Speaker 2: And that's what a lot of these fixers do. It's
- 13:29Speaker 2: not millions of Epstein's not bad, and most of them
- 13:33Speaker 2: are quite legitimate people, these fixers, But that's why billionaires
- 13:37Speaker 2: latch onto them. They'll take care of stuff for you
- 13:39Speaker 2: that you don't want to have to do yourself. You know,
- 13:42Speaker 2: Let's say you want to get your kid into Harvard.
- 13:45Speaker 2: You don't want to be seen making these calls. So
- 13:47Speaker 2: the guy, I'll do it for you whatever you need.
- 13:50Speaker 2: And when it comes to women, these fixtures always have
- 13:53Speaker 2: a ton of women. If you, Bill Gates and I
- 13:56Speaker 2: got to go around picking up women, but this guy
- 13:58Speaker 2: has plenty of You go into his house and private.
- 14:00Speaker 2: So that's what it's all about. Now, Bill Gates walking
- 14:04Speaker 2: into the hearings, He's got to testify under oath for
- 14:07Speaker 2: hours about Epstein. Listen to him coming in.
- 14:09Speaker 13: Glad to be here voluntarily, to.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Glad to be here. I think out of if you
- 14:15Speaker 2: named every possible thing on earth you could do, this
- 14:17Speaker 2: would be like ten millionth on the list.
- 14:19Speaker 13: Glad to be here, Glad to be here voluntarily, to
- 14:22Speaker 13: testify to help of the committee's work. I'll start with
- 14:27Speaker 13: an opening statement in the hearing room.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I hope my.
- 14:31Speaker 13: Testimony is helpful to the important work of the committee
- 14:35Speaker 13: to find justice for the victims.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Yeah. So he basically said that Epstein was blackmailing. At
- 14:41Speaker 2: some point, he said he wouldn't admit to any affairs
- 14:44Speaker 2: in the Epstein house, but he said Epstein knew of
- 14:48Speaker 2: some affairs. Well, house, would you know and that he
- 14:50Speaker 2: kept holding that over him. He said, that's I don't
- 14:53Speaker 2: know if he was blackmail. He said, that's the reason
- 14:55Speaker 2: he kept going back, because the question is why did
- 14:59Speaker 2: you keep coming back? Were there over and oh, you
- 15:01Speaker 2: kept coming back all the time. So the blackmail explanation,
- 15:04Speaker 2: I guess is for that. The original explanation as to
- 15:07Speaker 2: why he went was to he needed money. He was
- 15:09Speaker 2: trying to raise money for his charity. Very important that
- 15:12Speaker 2: he get money for his charity. This explanation doesn't make
- 15:15Speaker 2: any sense at all. Gates is worth one hundred billion dollars,
- 15:21Speaker 2: Epstein's worth one hundred million. It should be the other
- 15:24Speaker 2: way around. Should be Epstein going to Gateshouse began for money.
- 15:28Speaker 2: You got one hundred million, one hundred billion. He's got
- 15:32Speaker 2: over a well over one hundred billion, all the money
- 15:35Speaker 2: he needs for so and I've been in I'm on
- 15:39Speaker 2: the board of a lot of charities. I've been to
- 15:41Speaker 2: these meetings where you go see the billionaire and to
- 15:44Speaker 2: get money for a charity. I've never seen one of
- 15:46Speaker 2: these meetings take more than a half hour. Maybe maybe
- 15:50Speaker 2: if it's going well or you start talking to it,
- 15:52Speaker 2: maybe it could go forty five minutes. It's not seven
- 15:55Speaker 2: hours and you leave at midnight. There's no philanthropy meeting
- 15:59Speaker 2: that seven hours and you're leaving the house at midnight.
- 16:02Speaker 2: And Gates was doing that a lot. So, uh, everything
- 16:05Speaker 2: he's saying does not past the smell test or the
- 16:07Speaker 2: left test. But we'll get back to Bill Gates and
- 16:10Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:14Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 16:18Speaker 2: one zero seven ten.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Marks them all live from the w R Life back studios.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls eight hundred three two one
- 16:30Speaker 2: zero seven tens and I'm must go to Peter in Manhattan. Peter,
- 16:33Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 16:35Speaker 14: Hey? How are you doing?
- 16:36Speaker 2: Mak goody?
- 16:38Speaker 14: Mark, I have a question for you. It's kind of
- 16:40Speaker 14: hard to believe in attorney doesn't know what is client
- 16:44Speaker 14: or what is there you know back or what is
- 16:46Speaker 14: the high answer or you know what I mean?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Anyway, I have no idea what you're talking about. Who
- 16:50Speaker 2: are we talking about?
- 16:51Speaker 14: There's Wits, I mean, he's there. They're curious about him
- 16:55Speaker 14: and this investigation too.
- 16:57Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Well no, no, I don't know. I don't think that's Dershwitz.
- 17:03Speaker 2: This is anti Semite that always calls us now, Uh.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Dershowitz was Epstein's lawyer for many, many, many years. He
- 17:14Speaker 2: knows a lot of stuff and and he's been quite
- 17:18Speaker 2: public talking about it on the air. Yeah. He was
- 17:20Speaker 2: once accused by Virginia Goufrey Gewfrey, whatever her name was.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I think, I think she's no longer with us. She
- 17:27Speaker 2: accused him of being involved in some of the sex.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Now it was totally false accusations. Dershowitz went to court
- 17:33Speaker 2: and suit her and had a great case against her,
- 17:35Speaker 2: but she later admitted she had just made stuff up.
- 17:38Speaker 2: So Dershwitz has never ever been seriously accused of anything.
- 17:41Speaker 2: But he knows a lot of the inner workings of
- 17:44Speaker 2: Epstein because he represented Epstein in the first case. So
- 17:48Speaker 2: Epstein had to tell him everything everything, And he's great
- 17:53Speaker 2: at shedding light, you know, there was always this study.
- 17:54Speaker 2: He works for the Mussad, he works for the CIA,
- 17:57Speaker 2: and Dershowitz is able to shed a lot of light
- 18:00Speaker 2: that he did not. I mean, he might have tried
- 18:02Speaker 2: to tell people that, but if it were true, he
- 18:05Speaker 2: could have used it in the first case to get
- 18:07Speaker 2: himself out of trouble get a better deal. But as
- 18:09Speaker 2: Dersherist will explain he had absolutely nothing to make a
- 18:13Speaker 2: deal with the first time. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 18:16Speaker 2: how you doing, good morning, Mark, that's Mike.
- 18:21Speaker 15: With all the stuff that needs to be done. I'm
- 18:23Speaker 15: still not quite sure this obsession with the Epstein stuff
- 18:25Speaker 15: is with the public and the Congress and the media.
- 18:29Speaker 15: I don't understand how it impacts anybody's life other.
- 18:31Speaker 16: Than well, I don't know.
- 18:33Speaker 2: A lot of times something strange obsession. Well, when a
- 18:36Speaker 2: rumor starts a conspiracy. There there was the rumor that
- 18:38Speaker 2: he had a client list, that he had clients and
- 18:41Speaker 2: wealthy guys that were getting sex with underage girls, and
- 18:43Speaker 2: they were clients. None of this was true. There were
- 18:45Speaker 2: underage girls sex with Epstein. It was strictly him personally
- 18:49Speaker 2: and maybe some a couple of me. I think Prince
- 18:52Speaker 2: Andrew was probably on there. But all these guys there
- 18:54Speaker 2: were not clients. Epstein didn't have a sex business of
- 18:57Speaker 2: any kind.
- 18:59Speaker 15: Like a complete waste of time and energy and resources.
- 19:01Speaker 15: The Congress could be doing. You know, they could pass
- 19:03Speaker 15: the Save Act to Heaven's sake, you know, when you.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Know, but what's these conspiracy something like that. That's these
- 19:08Speaker 2: conspiracy theory start. If it's something they want to believe,
- 19:11Speaker 2: no matter what, you can't convince them it's not true.
- 19:13Speaker 2: You're right, they'll believe it forever. Yeah, and they think
- 19:17Speaker 2: Trump was involved.
- 19:18Speaker 15: Yes, are you planning on going on to the US
- 19:22Speaker 15: Open to Shinnacock.
- 19:24Speaker 2: I would never ever ever go to that. First of all,
- 19:27Speaker 2: it's in the Hamptons. I wouldn't set foot in the halfton.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Second of all, there is nothing worse then going to
- 19:33Speaker 2: a golf tournament. You don't see a damn thing. You know,
- 19:36Speaker 2: when you watch it on TV, you see every shot,
- 19:38Speaker 2: every play, every hole. You see the guy on this
- 19:41Speaker 2: whole sink the putt. Then they cut immediately to this
- 19:43Speaker 2: other hole where a guy's t and off. You don't
- 19:45Speaker 2: see any of that. When you're there, You're stuck on
- 19:47Speaker 2: one hole.
- 19:48Speaker 16: You're completely ready.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 15: I went to the first one they had at Best
- 19:51Speaker 15: Page and it was everybody was drunk. I went to
- 19:56Speaker 15: the practice round and it was like eight in the morning.
- 19:58Speaker 15: Everybody was drunk already. It was completely crazy.
- 20:01Speaker 2: So yeah, Hey, the only thing I want to go to.
- 20:03Speaker 2: You never want to go to these tournaments if you
- 20:05Speaker 2: can go in the days before when the guy when
- 20:07Speaker 2: they're on the driving range, watch the pros on a
- 20:10Speaker 2: driving range. That is something to say, that's the best.
- 20:12Speaker 15: Yes, the practice days are the best.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yeah. Just go watch these guys the day or two
- 20:16Speaker 2: before they come to the club and they're on the drive.
- 20:18Speaker 2: You watch these guys in a driving range. It's unbelievable
- 20:22Speaker 2: that you want to say, it's unbelievable. All right, thanks
- 20:24Speaker 2: for calling uh one more, Vincent and Brooklyn. We only
- 20:28Speaker 2: got like a minute, but go ahead, Vincent.
- 20:31Speaker 7: Mark these riots at Brian Park, people attacking the police,
- 20:35Speaker 7: stopping on police cause, mixing it up with the cops.
- 20:40Speaker 7: This is just another example of how the city's going
- 20:44Speaker 7: down the toilet on the people like Alvin Bragg. And
- 20:49Speaker 7: unfortunately Jessica Tish wants to do the right thing. She
- 20:53Speaker 7: wants to do the job. She wants to go full
- 20:55Speaker 7: battle to the metal, but uh ma'am and Dommy Cat
- 21:00Speaker 7: the Hulk an album brag holding her back. And unfortunately,
- 21:04Speaker 7: these poor cops know that the judges are gonna let
- 21:07Speaker 7: all these bums go. Back in the day, you wouldn't
- 21:10Speaker 7: have even dead thought about attacking a cop, stopping on
- 21:15Speaker 7: a car back in the day, the police are alledged.
- 21:18Speaker 7: I was running away from a crime scene and out
- 21:21Speaker 7: of nowhere a cop comes and hit cracks me across
- 21:24Speaker 7: the head with the bat and they had to take
- 21:27Speaker 7: me to Bellevue to sew up my head before they don't.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Yeah, well, as Curtis would call it, I wouldn't shampoo,
- 21:32Speaker 2: but uh fincents to show you. Yeah, we got it.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Great call, Thanks for calling. Bring back those night sticks.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Uh hey, when we come back, we hope to talk
- 21:41Speaker 2: to Steve Moore, the great economists. What's really going on
- 21:44Speaker 2: with inflation, with oil with a rent. We'll get to
- 21:47Speaker 2: all of that coming up next on seven to ten
- 21:49Speaker 2: w R.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Back to Mark Simone on wor.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Well. Steve Moore, the brilliant economist. Hey make sure you
- 21:58Speaker 2: get his latest book, but Trump e Miracle. If you
- 22:01Speaker 2: really want to understand all this, it's a great reading,
- 22:03Speaker 2: The Trump Economic Miracle. Also he runs the Committee to
- 22:07Speaker 2: Unleashed Prosperity and they put out the best daily briefing
- 22:10Speaker 2: of issues analysis. If you want to sound really smart,
- 22:13Speaker 2: read this every day. It's free. It'll come write your email.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Just go sign up. Go to Unleash Prosperity dot com.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Unleash prosperity dot com. Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 22:25Speaker 16: Hey, Mark.
- 22:25Speaker 9: I'm doing pretty well. I think the economy is doing
- 22:28Speaker 9: pretty well too. I mean, I know we got a
- 22:31Speaker 9: disappointing inflation report yesterday, but it wasn't really step out.
- 22:35Speaker 9: We have inflation running at four point two percent, but
- 22:38Speaker 9: that's all being driven right now by the high price
- 22:41Speaker 9: of oil. And when we get that oil price to
- 22:43Speaker 9: come back down, which it will, I think we'll see
- 22:46Speaker 9: lower inflation this summer. Incidentally, did you know that the
- 22:50Speaker 9: average gas price, we have this in the hotline today,
- 22:53Speaker 9: the average gas price under Trump and both his first
- 22:57Speaker 9: term and so far in the second term, lower in
- 23:00Speaker 9: inflation adjusted dollars than under Obama and Biden.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Except if you if you watch the NBC Nightly News
- 23:07Speaker 2: or ABC, if you watch MS, and all these gas
- 23:10Speaker 2: prices up, inflation shoots up, they make it sound like
- 23:14Speaker 2: it's a total disaster.
- 23:17Speaker 9: Well, if people are angry about the price of groceries,
- 23:20Speaker 9: and people are angry about the price of filling up
- 23:22Speaker 9: a tank, and it is a tax on the economy
- 23:25Speaker 9: when you have oil prices as high as they are now.
- 23:28Speaker 9: But they're going to come down and We're going to
- 23:30Speaker 9: see this summer a real boom in the economy, especially
- 23:34Speaker 9: given what's going on with our industry with respect to
- 23:37Speaker 9: the technology is the industry. The construction industry is doing
- 23:41Speaker 9: very well in terms of with all sorts of construction
- 23:44Speaker 9: projects all over the country. Manufacturing is making a comeback.
- 23:47Speaker 9: And you know, as our buddy Larry Cubno says, we're
- 23:49Speaker 9: in the midst of one of the biggest investment booms
- 23:52Speaker 9: in American history.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, just explain to people, because again people watch
- 23:57Speaker 2: the Network News, they getting totally calm. When you lower taxes,
- 24:01Speaker 2: you actually get more revenue. Isn't that the case?
- 24:05Speaker 9: Well, this is a good time day to explain that,
- 24:08Speaker 9: because you know, Bob Packwood, who was a Senator from Oregon,
- 24:12Speaker 9: died this week. He is famous for being the Senate
- 24:16Speaker 9: sponsor of something called the Tax Reform Act of nineteen
- 24:19Speaker 9: eighty six. And what we did, and that was sort
- 24:22Speaker 9: of the tail end of the Reagan administration, we cut
- 24:24Speaker 9: the highest on the Reagan we had to cut the
- 24:26Speaker 9: highest tax rate from seventy percent down to twenty eight percent.
- 24:31Speaker 9: Now here's a question for you, Mark, what do you
- 24:33Speaker 9: think happened to tax payments by the rich. Do you
- 24:35Speaker 9: think they went up or down?
- 24:37Speaker 2: Up?
- 24:39Speaker 9: It's called the Laffer curve. It works every time. So
- 24:42Speaker 9: the rate was lower. And by the way, one of
- 24:44Speaker 9: the things we did in nineteen eighty six was that
- 24:46Speaker 9: we cleared out all the special interest loopholes and all
- 24:49Speaker 9: of the you know, all of the you know, lobbyist
- 24:52Speaker 9: provisions that have been putting the bill over fifty years.
- 24:55Speaker 9: And we just cleaned out the stable. So everybody would
- 24:57Speaker 9: pay a low rate, but everybody'd pay their fare share.
- 25:00Speaker 9: Why can't we do that again? You know, we haven't
- 25:02Speaker 9: done anything like that. So all we do is add
- 25:04Speaker 9: more and more special interest loopholes and carveouts for big lobbyists,
- 25:09Speaker 9: and the little guy gets screwed.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Yeah, if we did the flat tax, everybody pays seventeen percent,
- 25:15Speaker 2: I love it. Wouldn't that bring more revenue?
- 25:17Speaker 9: The flat tax?
- 25:18Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 25:18Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean we could do a you know, eighteen
- 25:22Speaker 9: percent flat tax. Everybody pays. You just get a deduction
- 25:26Speaker 9: for the number of kids you have, so you know
- 25:27Speaker 9: the expense of raising your family is covered. But you
- 25:31Speaker 9: don't get right of us for all this other stuff.
- 25:34Speaker 9: And then and then you know, you would raise so
- 25:36Speaker 9: much revenue, and we'd have the lowest tax rate in
- 25:38Speaker 9: the world. We'd just be a magnet, a bigger magnet
- 25:41Speaker 9: for capital investment in this country. Think about the jobs
- 25:44Speaker 9: we would create, although we'd lose a lot of irs
- 25:47Speaker 9: jobs and we probably lose a lot of you know,
- 25:50Speaker 9: tax accounting shops.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Now, the only reason we can't do it is because
- 25:53Speaker 2: all the people in Congress sell these loopholes and these
- 25:56Speaker 2: carve outs, right, that's the reason we can't do it.
- 25:58Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, I mean, you know, it used to be
- 26:01Speaker 9: you could get carve outs for you know, investing in
- 26:03Speaker 9: both firm or and you know, abandoned apartment buildings and
- 26:08Speaker 9: solar energy and all of this stuff. And why not
- 26:11Speaker 9: just create a level playing field. And by the way,
- 26:13Speaker 9: it wouldn't it be amazing if it only took your
- 26:15Speaker 9: ten minutes to fill out your tax form every year.
- 26:17Speaker 9: You didn't have to have an army of accountants, so
- 26:20Speaker 9: it would be so simple. But you know, nobody in
- 26:22Speaker 9: Washington wants that because we derive our power in Washington
- 26:26Speaker 9: mark from all the all the special interest provisions in
- 26:29Speaker 9: the tax code, and that's what we buy and sell
- 26:31Speaker 9: in this city.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Yeah, unbelievable. Hey, a social Security Steve Moore, how healthy
- 26:36Speaker 2: is the Social Security system?
- 26:39Speaker 9: Well, the numbers that came out yesterday should not be
- 26:42Speaker 9: too surprising that anyone who pays attention to this stuff
- 26:44Speaker 9: that the Social Security Administration now admits what everyone knows,
- 26:48Speaker 9: which is that by the year twenty and thirty two,
- 26:51Speaker 9: maybe people didn't realize it was going to happen so fast,
- 26:53Speaker 9: but by twenty and thirty two, it's better. It's out
- 26:55Speaker 9: of it. It's out of a out of money. And
- 26:58Speaker 9: so this is an incredible you know, a situation where
- 27:01Speaker 9: we have a Ponzi scheme with Social Security.
- 27:03Speaker 16: They spent all the.
- 27:04Speaker 9: Money it was supposed to be for your and my retirement,
- 27:07Speaker 9: and they spent on other government programs. I mean, if Mark,
- 27:10Speaker 9: if you were running a private business and you had
- 27:12Speaker 9: a pension plan and you were the CEO of that
- 27:15Speaker 9: company and you started spending the pension money on other
- 27:17Speaker 9: programs and put you in jail for fraud. WOWA put
- 27:23Speaker 9: Congress in jail for fraud.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Twenty and thirty two. That's only six years from now.
- 27:28Speaker 9: Yeah, I know exactly, you know, and we knew this
- 27:31Speaker 9: day was coming, and Congress did nothing about it. And
- 27:34Speaker 9: so what what I've been proposing, and I've been protosting
- 27:37Speaker 9: this for forty years, is let young people take that
- 27:39Speaker 9: twelve percent of their paycheck, put it into you know,
- 27:43Speaker 9: an index fund like an IRA funder, a four to
- 27:45Speaker 9: one K plan. And if if you and I and
- 27:48Speaker 9: the people listening to the show had been able to
- 27:49Speaker 9: do that starting thirty forty years ago, we would be
- 27:52Speaker 9: getting so security, we would keep getting retirement benefits, it
- 27:55Speaker 9: would be three times higher, and we'd be able to
- 27:58Speaker 9: leave our children at a million dollars.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Wow, unbelievable. Hey, this crazy mayor Seattle, this left wing
- 28:05Speaker 2: mayor who's spooking all these corporations they're leaving town. Seems
- 28:09Speaker 2: like she's backtracking a little. You think she's seeing the
- 28:12Speaker 2: light and what's going on there?
- 28:14Speaker 9: Which point is that the one in Seattle. There's so many.
- 28:17Speaker 16: Crazy mayors out there at Seattle.
- 28:20Speaker 9: Oh yeah, she's the one who said bye bye to
- 28:22Speaker 9: the rich people who said we're leaving because you just
- 28:24Speaker 9: raised our taxes by up to ten percent. And so
- 28:28Speaker 9: get you know, you're seeing the people at Microsoft, You're
- 28:31Speaker 9: seeing the people at Amazon, your people, seeing the people
- 28:33Speaker 9: at Starbucks, all these iconic Seattle companies they're leaving. You know,
- 28:39Speaker 9: it just goes to show something we've talked about so
- 28:41Speaker 9: many times. If you tax something, you get less of it.
- 28:43Speaker 9: You keep taxing these people, then they leave.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Yeah, we have this crazy governor in New York who
- 28:49Speaker 2: said the same thing. Now she's saying, we want you
- 28:51Speaker 2: to stay. How come they can't figure out if your
- 28:54Speaker 2: business is tax revenue, don't chase away your biggest customers,
- 28:58Speaker 2: the months that pay the most. Why can't they think
- 29:00Speaker 2: you would?
- 29:00Speaker 9: You would think that, And yet you know here where
- 29:03Speaker 9: they go. You know, and you've got all these states
- 29:05Speaker 9: and cities. You know, look by the way, look at
- 29:07Speaker 9: you know, you want to talk about chasing way bustances.
- 29:10Speaker 9: How about Chicago. They're losing the Bears, my good mistakes,
- 29:13Speaker 9: because they couldn't. The taxes are so high in the
- 29:15Speaker 9: costs are so high in Chicago, and I grew up
- 29:17Speaker 9: in Chicago. We're losing the Bears. Oh my god, it's
- 29:19Speaker 9: the end of the world. They're gonna be in Hammond, Indiana.
- 29:22Speaker 9: Indiana is going to have two football NFL franchises and
- 29:25Speaker 9: Illinois can have zero.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Wow, he's not kidding, He's not kidding. The Chicago Bears
- 29:29Speaker 2: are going to move.
- 29:30Speaker 9: Uh, they're going to Hammond, Indiana. And that's going to
- 29:33Speaker 9: be bad for the NFL. It's bad for Chicago, and
- 29:35Speaker 9: it's bad for everybody. But you have incompetent leadership in
- 29:39Speaker 9: Brandon Johnson and h and JB. Batso Pritzker, who wants
- 29:43Speaker 9: to run for president. By the way, he's going to
- 29:44Speaker 9: run for president, saying yeah, I'm the one who lost
- 29:46Speaker 9: the Chicago Bears.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Yeah. Hell, you have every team moving to Canada by
- 29:51Speaker 2: the time he's done his presence exactly. Well, Steve Moore,
- 29:54Speaker 2: great stuff and keep up the good work. And everybody

- 31:34Speaker 17: soon as it hits zero, right to the news right
- 31:36Speaker 17: at the top of the hour. Except I had the
- 31:40Speaker 17: wrong minute. It's ten to fifty nine. But I hit
- 31:44Speaker 17: it perfectly right at zero zero, wrong minute though, where
- 31:48Speaker 17: was it?
- 31:48Speaker 9: Oh?
- 31:48Speaker 2: Yeah, So it's gonna be Jimmy Taylor will be with

- 32:05Speaker 2: to put an actual suit on, no rumpled sweater. Okay
- 32:08Speaker 2: this time, it's like the minute. I got the minute
- 32:11Speaker 2: right this time. Okay, now watch, I gotta do this
- 32:13Speaker 2: all over again. So Jimmy Fayla and more right after

- 32:34Speaker 2: to be a big deal tomorrow. And I'm watching. We
- 32:39Speaker 2: have all the networks on all the different screens here,
- 32:42Speaker 2: MS NOW, MSNBC. This is the whole first twenty minutes
- 32:47Speaker 2: of every hour. Trump says he loves inflation. I love inflation,
- 32:51Speaker 2: says Trump. This is what they This is what they
- 32:56Speaker 2: do to their audience. Now they start this in the
- 32:58Speaker 2: whole left wing starts through. He said he loves inflation.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Remember a couple of weeks ago, he said I never
- 33:06Speaker 2: think about the economy, and they kept quoting him. Trump
- 33:10Speaker 2: said he never thinks about the economy. Couldn't care less
- 33:12Speaker 2: about the economy. That's not what he said at all.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Way back then, this is a few weeks ago. They
- 33:18Speaker 2: were asking about Iran a threat of nuclear weapons. If
- 33:21Speaker 2: you go try to take out their nuclear weapons, what
- 33:24Speaker 2: you know it could cause the economy, And he said,
- 33:28Speaker 2: I never think about the economy when it comes to
- 33:31Speaker 2: national security, when it comes to the threat against America,
- 33:35Speaker 2: when it comes to our safety, I don't think about
- 33:37Speaker 2: the economy. In other words, if I have to do
- 33:39Speaker 2: something to save the country, if I have to do
- 33:41Speaker 2: something for national security, I don't consider the politics or
- 33:44Speaker 2: the economy. So the new one today he said, I
- 33:48Speaker 2: love inflation. He loves inflation. That's not it. You're taken
- 33:54Speaker 2: that out of context. Let me see if I can
- 33:56Speaker 2: find the actual Uh. Oh, I had it here somewhere.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I don't know where it is. Uh I'll find it.
- 34:03Speaker 2: I'll find it. Hang on, hang on, I think is
- 34:06Speaker 2: this it?
- 34:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 34:07Speaker 2: Do you know we've been taking No, let me see
- 34:10Speaker 2: if this is it.
- 34:10Speaker 6: We hit them hard yesterday and we're going to hit
- 34:13Speaker 6: them again hard today. In case you had Missif case
- 34:16Speaker 6: you don't turn on your television.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Set, and that's not it. Maybe it's this one there,
- 34:21Speaker 2: reporter asking about inflation.
- 34:22Speaker 18: The Secure America Act provide thirty eight billion dollars to
- 34:25Speaker 18: ice twenty six million dollars to border patrol to ensure
- 34:29Speaker 18: these critical law enforcement agencies of the necessary resources to
- 34:33Speaker 18: do their jobs protecting our borders and getting criminal aliens
- 34:37Speaker 18: out of the country. And starting on day one of
- 34:40Speaker 18: my administration, we took the most dangerous, unsafe, violent, and
- 34:44Speaker 18: open border people out of this country.
- 34:47Speaker 2: We got them out. Yeah, no, that's nothing. But that's
- 34:50Speaker 2: a good thing that he just know. I can't find it.
- 34:52Speaker 2: But he said, I love inflation right now because it's
- 34:55Speaker 2: going to come crashing down as soon as the Iran
- 34:58Speaker 2: wars over. Soon as it's over, the come right down.
- 35:01Speaker 2: It's actually not it's like four point two, which is
- 35:03Speaker 2: nothing compared to Biden's nine percent. It's up a little
- 35:07Speaker 2: because of oil. But what he didn't say, I love inflation.
- 35:09Speaker 2: He said, I love inflation now because it's going to
- 35:12Speaker 2: come crashing down. Real soon, not gonna last. Hey, Platner
- 35:18Speaker 2: is now close to becoming the actual official nominee. Not yet,
- 35:22Speaker 2: but he is. Republicans say they got all kinds of
- 35:26Speaker 2: opposition research. Boy, there's stuff they got that they're leak
- 35:29Speaker 2: out of it. They're going to put out stuff about him.
- 35:32Speaker 2: And I don't know these Republicans, they overseell things a lot.
- 35:36Speaker 2: But well, whyting to put it out now? Well, they're
- 35:38Speaker 2: waiting for him to officially be the nominee before they
- 35:41Speaker 2: put it out. We'll see. Platner is the I mean,
- 35:46Speaker 2: it's the most flawed candidate ever in the history of
- 35:49Speaker 2: the world. Trump finally talked about Platner.
- 35:53Speaker 6: And they're trying to make excuses for him. I mean,
- 35:56Speaker 6: he's worse than any human being that's ever run your
- 35:59Speaker 6: office from I don't know him. I don't want to
- 36:01Speaker 6: say bad, but I just look, I mean, nobody's ever
- 36:05Speaker 6: had a record like that.
- 36:06Speaker 2: He's gotta be as a candidate. This guy's got he's
- 36:10Speaker 2: got more baggage than than Paris Hilton. This guy, this
- 36:14Speaker 2: is a thug.
- 36:15Speaker 8: He's a cheap, no good person. And I watch he's senators,
- 36:21Speaker 8: the Democrats, and well, we don't really know, you do
- 36:25Speaker 8: know he's as bad. I've never seen a person like
- 36:29Speaker 8: that run for office.
- 36:31Speaker 2: He's right enormous, Nazi SS death camp tattoo right on
- 36:36Speaker 2: his chest. He's got women coming out of every which
- 36:39Speaker 2: way about. He twisted my arm, he hit me, he
- 36:41Speaker 2: hurt me. This he that he's sexting and texting and
- 36:45Speaker 2: sexting with dozens of women all over the place. You
- 36:49Speaker 2: ever hear him talk, he sounds very official when he talks.
- 36:52Speaker 2: You know, he's got this big voice.
- 36:53Speaker 19: Listen, there's nothing out there that's actually concerning. People will
- 36:57Speaker 19: make everything seem very concerning, because that's one people in politics.
- 37:04Speaker 19: But you know, I think the thing about all of
- 37:07Speaker 19: this is what I find to be kind of most curious,
- 37:12Speaker 19: is this is what everyone wants to make the campaign about,
- 37:15Speaker 19: so we do not talk about the struggles of working manners.
- 37:20Speaker 2: So these are all the cheap political tricks. But if
- 37:23Speaker 2: you have a big voice, you know, if you say
- 37:26Speaker 2: that's where he's lucky, ye kind of like nobody's wearing.
- 37:29Speaker 2: But if you got that big announce her voice and
- 37:32Speaker 2: they say, well look at this, this woman says you
- 37:35Speaker 2: raped her, hit her, beat her up, you shot her,
- 37:37Speaker 2: you killed her if you got the right voice. I
- 37:41Speaker 2: know people are trying to put out these and this
- 37:43Speaker 2: is you know, I'd rather than talk about that. I'd
- 37:45Speaker 2: rather talk about people is their income and paying the bills,
- 37:50Speaker 2: and I think a kitchen table issues and tries to
- 37:53Speaker 2: get it off that. Uh, what about all the sexting
- 37:56Speaker 2: and texting and sexting with all these different women.
- 37:58Speaker 19: I engage them consensual romanticet activities with adults at an
- 38:03Speaker 19: earlier part in my life. That seems like a fairly
- 38:05Speaker 19: normal thing most people do. Going to an island with
- 38:09Speaker 19: billionaires to possibly assault children is a vastly, vastly different thing.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Who's he talking about? Who's he talking about?
- 38:20Speaker 9: What?
- 38:20Speaker 2: Politician Trump? Nobody ever know they didn't go to an
- 38:24Speaker 2: island and assault children. But I like, howell, you know,
- 38:27Speaker 2: you just have an official voice and you make it
- 38:29Speaker 2: as well. Yes, sexting and texting, and yes I did
- 38:31Speaker 2: engage in that, but I think that's perfectly normal for
- 38:36Speaker 2: some people of it not for a married guy. You're
- 38:38Speaker 2: not supposed to be doing that.
- 38:39Speaker 19: I engage them consensual romantic activities with adults at an
- 38:44Speaker 19: earlier part in my life.
- 38:45Speaker 2: So if you're well, if your wife caught you sexting
- 38:47Speaker 2: and texting with a dozen women on some crazy hookup site.
- 38:53Speaker 2: The fact that it was consensual that makes it even worse.
- 38:56Speaker 2: That means you really were carrying on with this person.
- 39:00Speaker 2: But he's got that voice, and he sounds very official
- 39:02Speaker 2: when he talks.
- 39:03Speaker 19: They continue to try to make this race about me
- 39:07Speaker 19: and what they felt it.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Who was it supposed to be? See if you got
- 39:11Speaker 2: that voice, you know, they're trying to make it sound
- 39:13Speaker 2: like the race is about me. Yeah, you're the candidate.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Of course it's about you. What else would it be about?
- 39:20Speaker 2: Who else is it going to be about?
- 39:21Speaker 19: They continue to try to make this race about me,
- 39:25Speaker 19: and what they fail to understand is it's not about
- 39:28Speaker 19: me at all. It's about us. It's about Maine. It's
- 39:32Speaker 19: about the working people of this state.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Yeah. See, if you got that official voice, you just
- 39:36Speaker 2: keep doing that. Whatever happens. We have pictures of you
- 39:40Speaker 2: strangling somebody. Look, this is not about me. It's about Maine.
- 39:44Speaker 2: It's about jobs, it's about people's futures, it's about America.
- 39:48Speaker 2: But if you say it in that official voice, people
- 39:50Speaker 2: are listening to you like you're actually making sense. Nothing
- 39:53Speaker 2: he's saying is making any sense at all. So Epstein hearings.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Bill Gates testified yesterday. Now they made it clear the committee,
- 40:05Speaker 2: mister Gates was aware that Jeffrey Epstein had been convicted
- 40:09Speaker 2: and for a horrific crime.
- 40:11Speaker 20: It continued to interact with him to seek money for
- 40:15Speaker 20: his foundation. And I think that, obviously, I think we
- 40:18Speaker 20: would agree, was a horrific judgment call.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Mister Gates also was very clear that he.
- 40:22Speaker 20: Was never introduced to women or girls or anyone under
- 40:26Speaker 20: age by mister Epstein.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Well, nobody under age, but there were a lot of
- 40:31Speaker 2: girls in that Epstein house, not girls, women in late twenties, thirties, forties,
- 40:38Speaker 2: and Epstein had Gates over a lot, and Gates was
- 40:41Speaker 2: there for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours,
- 40:47Speaker 2: many many nights. His wife left them over it. So
- 40:50Speaker 2: he testified yesterday, and he said that he was being blackmailed.
- 40:56Speaker 2: He said the blackmail attempt was unsuccessful. What was he
- 40:59Speaker 2: trying to black He said, he's trying to blackmail me
- 41:02Speaker 2: to re engage with him, to keep coming back. Now,
- 41:06Speaker 2: Gates did confess to two extramarital affairs with Russian women. Oh,
- 41:16Speaker 2: two Russian women. You can picture them. Right now, right, Yeah,
- 41:21Speaker 2: some hot looking Russian women, at least one of whom
- 41:25Speaker 2: appears to have been used by Epstein to attempt to
- 41:27Speaker 2: extort money from Gates. Gates also reportedly acknowledged with his
- 41:33Speaker 2: staff that he's been accused of more than twenty extramarital affairs. Well,
- 41:39Speaker 2: good for him. Man's entitled to enjoy himself.
- 41:41Speaker 9: Oops.
- 41:42Speaker 2: You know, let him go out and do that instead
- 41:44Speaker 2: of trying to take over the food supply or create
- 41:46Speaker 2: all these vaccines. That's a better hobby. Stick with the women.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I see, he said, he testified. I see now how
- 41:53Speaker 2: Epstein sought to build an image of legitimacy around himself,
- 41:58Speaker 2: using his connections to repute and powerful people to deflect scrutiny,
- 42:04Speaker 2: an attempt to rehabilitate his reputation. Wells, and I knew
- 42:08Speaker 2: the guy. He was a guy who threw around tons
- 42:11Speaker 2: of money through lavish parties and all kinds of fun things.
- 42:16Speaker 2: And if you hung around him, he could get you
- 42:19Speaker 2: all kinds of stuff, including women, but a million other things.
- 42:22Speaker 2: But I don't think anybody ever thought him as legitimate.
- 42:26Speaker 2: You know, he dressed like the Duke of Windsor you know,
- 42:29Speaker 2: he'd have those velvet slippers and he'd have an ass scot.
- 42:33Speaker 2: But then when he would talk, it was how were you?
- 42:34Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 42:35Speaker 2: You know, I mean he talked like that with that accent,
- 42:37Speaker 2: and he didn't have an air of legitimacy about him.
- 42:40Speaker 2: He had an air of fun. Now, what are a
- 42:43Speaker 2: lot of these billionaires in these big business go what
- 42:46Speaker 2: were they doing around? Well, he did have a couple
- 42:49Speaker 2: of real talents money wise. He was great at if
- 42:53Speaker 2: you needed not laundering money, but if you needed to
- 42:57Speaker 2: take a lot of money, and he could run it
- 43:00Speaker 2: through all kinds of you know, banks all over the world.
- 43:02Speaker 2: He could help you avoid taxes legally. He had set
- 43:05Speaker 2: up all kinds of systems. He had all kinds of
- 43:08Speaker 2: experts who knew how to avoid taxes on money. That's
- 43:12Speaker 2: one reason a lot of guys used him for that
- 43:14Speaker 2: kind of stuff. Gates is claiming he was only five meetings.
- 43:18Speaker 2: I wouldn't call them meetings. If you get there at
- 43:21Speaker 2: six o'clock and you leave at one am, is that
- 43:24Speaker 2: a meeting? I don't think so, not a meeting, he said.
- 43:28Speaker 2: He was kept saying I was trying to raise money
- 43:32Speaker 2: for well, you got a hundred billion This guy doesn't
- 43:34Speaker 2: have a hundredth of what you got, So what are
- 43:37Speaker 2: you trying to raise money from him for? Hey, by
- 43:39Speaker 2: the way, afterwards Gates is hired. He actually hired an attorney,
- 43:44Speaker 2: special attorney who was formerly the investigator for this committee.
- 43:49Speaker 2: So he got close ties to the committee. But that's
- 43:56Speaker 2: a good way to protect himself. He's lawyered up. Here's
- 43:59Speaker 2: a kolmer who runs the committee.
- 44:00Speaker 16: I will say this, no one's accusing Bill Gates of
- 44:03Speaker 16: any wrongdoing, and I certainly appreciate him coming in voluntarily.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Yeah, now, nobody's accusing him of any legal wrongdoing. Being
- 44:13Speaker 2: a total sleeve ball, cheating on your wife, Okay, we'll see. Hey,
- 44:18Speaker 2: Barry Weiss, the new CBS News president, they're trying to
- 44:23Speaker 2: make her look weird. You know, all these stories come
- 44:26Speaker 2: in the New York Times. However, they're trying to a
- 44:27Speaker 2: New York magazine. Are all trying to make her All
- 44:29Speaker 2: the left wing magazines trying to make her look bad.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Barry Weiss physically isolated from the staff, hunkered down in
- 44:39Speaker 2: locked office in well, but that's every top executive. Every
- 44:44Speaker 2: top executive is hunkered down in an office. Chairman of
- 44:48Speaker 2: iHeart Bob Pittman, he's in the building. What do you
- 44:50Speaker 2: think it's hanging out in the coffee room like the
- 44:52Speaker 2: rest of us. I mean, he's hunkered down in his office.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Guy's got work to do, he's doing like important stuff,
- 44:57Speaker 2: and of course he's hunkered You want your boss hunkered
- 45:00Speaker 2: down in the office working all day now. They go
- 45:04Speaker 2: on to say, she has reportedly been ensconced in a
- 45:07Speaker 2: secured sixth floor office suite at the CBS Broadcast Center.
- 45:14Speaker 2: But this is normal, This is perfectly normal. You see
- 45:17Speaker 2: here on the you go down to the fifth floor,
- 45:18Speaker 2: that's where all the sales and offices. You just get
- 45:21Speaker 2: off the elevator, walk around, you talk to everybody. You
- 45:24Speaker 2: come to the sixth floor. You got to get in
- 45:26Speaker 2: the door there. I mean, but once you get through
- 45:29Speaker 2: that door, you can walk all around the halls here.
- 45:31Speaker 2: There's plenty of studios. There's Charlemagne over there, there's Jim
- 45:34Speaker 2: Kerr studio down there, Elvis Dauran's down You can just
- 45:37Speaker 2: wander around. But you get up to that twelfth floor,
- 45:40Speaker 2: that's where the top, top, top top executives are. You
- 45:43Speaker 2: can't just walk in and wander around. You got to
- 45:45Speaker 2: have an appointment. You got. It's normal for any major corporation.
- 45:49Speaker 2: When you get to the top executives, there's a secured
- 45:52Speaker 2: area where they work. You can't just look at this.
- 45:55Speaker 2: The area is accessible only by special key card. Wow,
- 46:01Speaker 2: that's everything, and every corp that's You can't come into
- 46:05Speaker 2: this floor without your key card. Every every part of
- 46:07Speaker 2: this building you have to have a key. That's perfectly
- 46:09Speaker 2: normal at every network in the world. I got a
- 46:13Speaker 2: fox all the time. You gotta even when you get
- 46:15Speaker 2: off the elevator, you have to have a key card
- 46:17Speaker 2: to open the door just to get into the hallway
- 46:19Speaker 2: on that floor. It's normal, but they make it sound
- 46:22Speaker 2: like she's doing something so awful that she has to
- 46:24Speaker 2: be isolated. Hey, tomorrow is the SpaceX IPO. This is
- 46:29Speaker 2: Elon Musk's new company. It's going to be the biggest
- 46:32Speaker 2: IPO in the history of the world. Just keep an
- 46:35Speaker 2: eye on this tomorrow because it's going to be an
- 46:37Speaker 2: explosive story. We'll be talking about it all morning because
- 46:41Speaker 2: this IPO is going to go crazy. They set the
- 46:44Speaker 2: price at one hundred and thirty five dollars, which is
- 46:47Speaker 2: extremely high for an IPO, and that's the price you
- 46:52Speaker 2: get if you're an insider or you're you know, a
- 46:54Speaker 2: professional institution, you know buying. If you buy before the
- 46:59Speaker 2: market even oh opens, they'll guarantee you that price. Or
- 47:03Speaker 2: if you're really, really, really big client, your broker will
- 47:06Speaker 2: get you in on the IPO, but at that price. Now,
- 47:08Speaker 2: once it opens on the market at nine thirty, within
- 47:11Speaker 2: a couple of minutes, the price will go nuts. It
- 47:13Speaker 2: could go to two hundred five hundred, it could go
- 47:15Speaker 2: to twelve hundred. Crazy things will happen at IPO tomorrow.
- 47:19Speaker 2: So if you think you're going to get in at
- 47:20Speaker 2: one thirty five, unless you've got somebody guaranteeing you the stock,
- 47:26Speaker 2: you're not going to get in at one thirty five.
- 47:28Speaker 2: But I would stay out of it tomorrow. Whatever crazy
- 47:32Speaker 2: price it goes to, like all these IPOs, and like
- 47:37Speaker 2: the other Elon musk stocks, it'll shoot up, it'll come down,
- 47:41Speaker 2: it'll go up. There'll be plenty of other times where
- 47:43Speaker 2: it comes down and you can jump in and get
- 47:46Speaker 2: it in the coming weeks or months. And there's some
- 47:49Speaker 2: statistic about IPOs. If every IPO in the history of
- 47:54Speaker 2: the world, if you got in, I think like only
- 47:57Speaker 2: thirty seven percent of them would be a good deal.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Got in at the IPO price. Well, anyway, we'll take
- 48:02Speaker 2: some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 48:06Speaker 2: ten is the number eight hundred three two one zero
- 48:10Speaker 2: seven ten.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Set up said on the iHeart Radio app to Doubo
- 48:14Speaker 1: R to hear Mark live. Set another for Mark's podcast
- 48:18Speaker 1: to hear him anytime.
- 48:20Speaker 3: Now back to Mark Simon on wo R.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Hey, Yeah, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred three two
- 48:28Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three
- 48:32Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Let's go to Bob and Newershell, Bob,
- 48:36Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 48:38Speaker 9: I'm good, Mark, I'm good. Look. I was just listening
- 48:39Speaker 9: at you talk about these mayors. It looks odd. I
- 48:41Speaker 9: was literally right before we said that, I was thinking
- 48:44Speaker 9: about Karen bass I mean, is it me or when
- 48:46Speaker 9: she flashes that creepy smile, she looks like she should
- 48:49Speaker 9: be a villain in a Batman movie.
- 48:51Speaker 2: No, she didn't look smart enough for that. Those villains
- 48:54Speaker 2: were sharp, they were smart. She just looks, uh, she
- 48:57Speaker 2: looks like, I don't know you look, I could see
- 49:00Speaker 2: her behind the counter, like at where not McDonald's. But
- 49:06Speaker 2: I'm trying to think when if you didn't know who
- 49:09Speaker 2: she was. What do you think she did for a living?
- 49:11Speaker 2: You just saw she looks like a librarian. I could
- 49:13Speaker 2: see her behind the counter at the library.
- 49:15Speaker 9: It's just seepy to me.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Yeah, well, not creepy. She just looks kind of dopey,
- 49:19Speaker 2: just kind of goofy. Anyway, thanks for Colin. Let's go
- 49:22Speaker 2: to uh Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich.
- 49:24Speaker 9: How you doing a pretty good count? Bass looks like
- 49:28Speaker 9: the person behind the count at the waffle house here
- 49:31Speaker 9: in South Carolina or two o'clock in the morning. That's
- 49:34Speaker 9: what she looks like. Yeah.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Kay, you know, I could see her behind the counter
- 49:36Speaker 2: at the airport. You know, one of those totally useless people.
- 49:39Speaker 9: That can't help you, you know, like the rest of
- 49:43Speaker 9: the world. There were seven minutes left of the nick
- 49:45Speaker 9: game in the third quarter. I went to bed. They
- 49:47Speaker 9: were down by twenty one at that point. I've seen comebacks,
- 49:49Speaker 9: but I never thought they were going to come back
- 49:51Speaker 9: from twenty one down with half of early had a
- 49:53Speaker 9: quarter and a half left. Hey, I saw in the
- 49:55Speaker 9: news that in the last hour so Trump has knocked
- 49:57Speaker 9: out electricity to forty or fifty military basis. So there
- 50:02Speaker 9: is really starting to step it up now, you know.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Yeah, no, and tonight is a much bigger attack is
- 50:07Speaker 2: coming tonight to.
- 50:08Speaker 9: Be like July fourth fireworks night over there. I should
- 50:10Speaker 9: watch it on TV, you know.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, thanks for calling. Let me just point
- 50:13Speaker 2: out they are hitting power plants and knocking out electricity.
- 50:18Speaker 2: You're going to hear all over MSNBC and CNN, New
- 50:20Speaker 2: York Times are going to say violation of international law,
- 50:23Speaker 2: war crime. This is there's no such thing as international law.
- 50:28Speaker 2: It doesn't exist, and it's not a war crime. It's
- 50:31Speaker 2: the first thing you do in every wars, you knock
- 50:33Speaker 2: out bridges, power plants, Iraq War, World War two. We
- 50:37Speaker 2: always do that, usually day one. That's the first thing
- 50:39Speaker 2: you do. Knock out the bridges and the power plants
- 50:42Speaker 2: you disable. The one reason you knock out the power
- 50:44Speaker 2: plants the military, the IRCG. They need power to operate,
- 50:49Speaker 2: so it shuts down the military. They have no power.
- 50:52Speaker 2: And you knock out bridges. We've already knocked out one
- 50:55Speaker 2: a while back, but usually knock out bridges that are
- 50:57Speaker 2: being used to transport military and weapons. That's why you
- 51:01Speaker 2: do it. Let's go to Robert in Westchester. Robert, how
- 51:05Speaker 2: you doing good?
- 51:07Speaker 9: Morning, Mark, and thanks for taking my call. This guy
- 51:10Speaker 9: Platner from Maine. He's some character, he's got a shady past,
- 51:14Speaker 9: and yet he's insisting he's the guy that's going to
- 51:18Speaker 9: fix all of Maine's problems. That's like putting al Capone
- 51:22Speaker 9: in the head of the I R S. This is ridiculous.
- 51:25Speaker 9: One other things, Mark, did you hear if the if
- 51:28Speaker 9: ire Justice Department is going to do anything with the
- 51:30Speaker 9: elections in California. I like Steve Hilton. I've even donated
- 51:34Speaker 9: to him. I'm afraid they're going to do the same
- 51:36Speaker 9: Shenanigans's they did to the fellow who ran for Maya
- 51:40Speaker 9: to him.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. Thanks for calling. The Department
- 51:43Speaker 2: of Justice already has people on the ground in California.
- 51:47Speaker 2: I don't know what they can exactly do, but you're right,
- 51:49Speaker 2: they got to keep an eye. Steve Hilton has done
- 51:52Speaker 2: well and when the time comes election for governor that
- 51:56Speaker 2: might pull the same crap where he's ahead by twenty
- 52:00Speaker 2: points and then oh look at the mail in so
- 52:01Speaker 2: I suddenly it's been behind like eighty points. It's statistically impossible.
- 52:05Speaker 2: They did this with the mayor oal Race. Pratt way ahead.
- 52:09Speaker 2: All the mail ins come in and it's the total
- 52:12Speaker 2: opposite of the regular vote. That's impossible. Impossible. Let's go
- 52:17Speaker 2: to Larry Cranford, New Jersey. Larry, how you doing, ay?
- 52:21Speaker 9: Mark? Oh? You know, it's true, who cares about the economy,
- 52:24Speaker 9: global warming, inflation or anything else? If those lunatics were
- 52:28Speaker 9: going to hit us with in a comic bomb, who
- 52:31Speaker 9: cares about anything else? That is the priorities to make
- 52:34Speaker 9: sure that doesn't happen.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's what President Trump said. He said. He
- 52:37Speaker 2: didn't say I don't care about the economy. He said,
- 52:39Speaker 2: if it comes to national security, threat of nuclear attack,
- 52:42Speaker 2: I don't care about the economy. I do what has
- 52:44Speaker 2: to be done, no matter what it's going to do.
- 52:47Speaker 2: How could you go to sleep? That guy said he
- 52:49Speaker 2: went to sleep like five minutes left in the game.
- 52:54Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, I'm not a basketball fan normally,
- 52:57Speaker 2: and I don't know how much of a basketball but
- 52:58Speaker 2: I knew something could happen. And for those of you
- 53:01Speaker 2: that went to sleep, all of a sudden, the Nicks
- 53:05Speaker 2: started catching up. The Spurs made some mistakes. There was
- 53:08Speaker 2: you remember, like sixteen seconds left and the Spurs. He
- 53:12Speaker 2: gets the ball and he starts going down court to
- 53:15Speaker 2: try to throw. Should have done nothing, just just dribble,
- 53:18Speaker 2: just run down the clock. But I don't know what
- 53:19Speaker 2: he was thinking. But if you hung on till he
- 53:22Speaker 2: couldn't believe they got back. They were close, very close,
- 53:27Speaker 2: and then the ending was unbelievable.
- 53:30Speaker 4: Us it gets it fires up at three jump no good,
- 53:33Speaker 4: but tick, that's gone.
- 53:34Speaker 3: That's gone, it's gone. Look one point two Pervader.
- 53:39Speaker 4: Next take the lead, Oh uts, little seven.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Little sex.
- 53:45Speaker 2: Nobody could believe it. Everybody's jumping up now, screaming. And
- 53:47Speaker 2: he did it with like one point two seconds left.
- 53:50Speaker 3: That's that.
- 53:51Speaker 4: It's over. The greatest comeback in the NBA playoff history.
- 53:55Speaker 4: But let's pull off the lot to come back and
- 53:59Speaker 4: lead at three games? Come on, no what away from.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Up titled You should have seen it. It should have
- 54:10Speaker 2: seen it. Taylor Swift jumping up and down, flailing our arms, dancing,
- 54:16Speaker 2: Jerry Seinfeld waving his arms, jumping up and down. They
- 54:19Speaker 2: cut to Larry David. No expression, no expression at all. Anyway,
- 54:26Speaker 2: when we come back. The great Jimmy Fayla, very very
- 54:29Speaker 2: funny guy, Jimmy Fayla, who's now on every night nine
- 54:31Speaker 2: to midnight on w R. He'll be with us next where.
- 54:35Speaker 3: Usual comes for common sense? Mark Simon on sevent ten WR.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Well, Jimmy fail great tashow hosts a great comedian. He's
- 54:46Speaker 2: on every night here at w R nine to midnight.
- 54:49Speaker 2: And it's a such a great show and it's so
- 54:52Speaker 2: funny and interesting nine to midnight every night on WR,
- 54:56Speaker 2: every weeknight, and then on Saturday night he does the
- 54:59Speaker 2: best show in late night television ten o'clock Fox News
- 55:02Speaker 2: Channel and ready best monologue in all of television every
- 55:08Speaker 2: Saturday night at ten Fox News Channel. Jimmy Fayla, How
- 55:11Speaker 2: you doing?
- 55:12Speaker 16: I'm doing man riding high. We get a big win
- 55:15Speaker 16: out of the Knicks last night. Uh no watch party.
- 55:19Speaker 16: So you know, beatings were down like eighteen, which is good.
- 55:23Speaker 16: But a couple of couple of cabby's got wrong. A
- 55:25Speaker 16: couple of cabs got roughed up. Did you see that?
- 55:27Speaker 2: Yeah? So, hey, you were a cab driver. You don't
- 55:30Speaker 2: like when this this kind of stuff. Cab drivers don't
- 55:32Speaker 2: like this, right, just.
- 55:34Speaker 16: Now, what are we talking about here? Because that you know,
- 55:37Speaker 16: the truth is it's actually a horrible night to be
- 55:39Speaker 16: a cab driver. Because a lot of streets are shut down.
- 55:43Speaker 16: Half the passengers are going to throw up in the back.
- 55:45Speaker 16: You know, you might get that one guy who's gonna
- 55:48Speaker 16: overtip you because he missed a train and you got
- 55:51Speaker 16: him home to New Jersey. But for every guy who
- 55:53Speaker 16: missed a train in New Jersey, there's ten other guys
- 55:55Speaker 16: who missed a train to rehab.
- 55:59Speaker 2: You know. Sometimes people do take a cab all the way.
- 56:02Speaker 2: It's nothing funny with than being like in the middle
- 56:03Speaker 2: of Connecticut and seeing a yellow cab from New York.
- 56:06Speaker 2: It looks so out of place.
- 56:08Speaker 16: It looks like a film shoot. I pay a fine story.
- 56:10Speaker 16: I had a woman at Grand Central who got in
- 56:13Speaker 16: and she said, I was going to she was going
- 56:15Speaker 16: to an interview for a hedge fund up in Connecticut,
- 56:17Speaker 16: and she had forgot her heels in her office and
- 56:20Speaker 16: she maybe drive her back to Brooklyn get a set
- 56:23Speaker 16: of heels, and then drive up to Connecticut. It was
- 56:25Speaker 16: actually one of the one was New London, Connecticut. It
- 56:28Speaker 16: was like a New London fair.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that's three hours away, that's yeah.
- 56:33Speaker 16: By the time we got there, I was in like
- 56:34Speaker 16: a common law marriage. I'm like, I want half of
- 56:38Speaker 16: this hedge. I want half of this hedge fund money.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Come on, lady, eight hundred dollars. That's the biggest fair
- 56:42Speaker 2: you ever got.
- 56:45Speaker 16: No, I will tell you this. I had a guy
- 56:49Speaker 16: who he worked at a gentleman's club. I don't want
- 56:52Speaker 16: to out him, but a rhyme it rhymes with Rick's Cafe,
- 56:57Speaker 16: and uh, he actually at He had to get home,
- 57:02Speaker 16: just somewhere on the east end of Long Island, and
- 57:05Speaker 16: that was a really expensive fare, compounded by the fact
- 57:08Speaker 16: that I played along with whatever story needed to be
- 57:12Speaker 16: told in the driveway to get him let into that half.
- 57:15Speaker 16: I left there with a pile of money.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Wow. Hey, Jimmy Faylor, you're watching the Knicks game. I
- 57:23Speaker 2: love when they show the celebrities because it's like the
- 57:25Speaker 2: only time now you could ever see Ben Stiller anywhere.
- 57:28Speaker 16: And I know that was my concern market. It kind
- 57:33Speaker 16: of looks like the Oscars. You know, when you charge
- 57:35Speaker 16: twenty thousand to get in, you're not getting you know,
- 57:38Speaker 16: those rabid blue collar workers. You know, my brother the
- 57:42Speaker 16: cop is not shelling out forty grand for two seats
- 57:45Speaker 16: in the upper deck. Okay, so instead you're getting like
- 57:49Speaker 16: Taylor Swift, you know, and as you said, Ben Stiller.
- 57:52Speaker 16: So instead of getting told you suck, you got Ben
- 57:55Speaker 16: Stiller telling you that you're shooting a three pointer on
- 57:57Speaker 16: stolen land, you know.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Yeah. And else. Spike Lee obviously diehard Knicks fan. He's
- 58:06Speaker 2: always been coming the games. But with the blue and
- 58:08Speaker 2: orange glasses and the mixed uniform and hat, it's a
- 58:13Speaker 2: little too halloween ish, isn't it? For even for him?
- 58:16Speaker 16: Yeah, the Spike, he's kind of like grandfathered into the
- 58:20Speaker 16: ridiculousness at this point because he's, to his credit, he's
- 58:23Speaker 16: been committed to that for like forty years.
- 58:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:26Speaker 16: But yeah, if you saw that on the subway, you'd
- 58:28Speaker 16: be hoping he that's the you know, don't I hope
- 58:30Speaker 16: this guy doesn't talk to me. You know, because a
- 58:32Speaker 16: guy in that outfit on the subway is either arguing
- 58:35Speaker 16: with the air or he's asking you for money. You know.
- 58:39Speaker 16: That's the Spike thing. But Spike, you know, Spike, he's
- 58:41Speaker 16: a give him his credit as a fan because he's
- 58:43Speaker 16: been there for a lot of bad seasons, making he
- 58:47Speaker 16: stuck around anybody, anybody was here ten years ago and
- 58:51Speaker 16: still showing up the Nick Games. It's like a Sinley
- 58:53Speaker 16: veiled Dominatrix. You just liked the abuse. That's what it's
- 58:57Speaker 16: like to be a Met fan.
- 58:58Speaker 2: You know. Hell love watching and Jerry Seinfeld. They're jumping
- 59:01Speaker 2: up and down waving his and then I love watching
- 59:03Speaker 2: Larry David. No expression even when they won, didn't blink,
- 59:06Speaker 2: no expression.
- 59:08Speaker 16: I know, but that's that is the difference, man, like
- 59:12Speaker 16: the you know, the the normal fan who's out of
- 59:15Speaker 16: nick game. And obviously there's always celebrity row. And they
- 59:18Speaker 16: came alive last night because it was, you know, greatest
- 59:20Speaker 16: comeback you're ever going to watch. But for most of
- 59:21Speaker 16: the game, I mean, they were getting blown out, but
- 59:23Speaker 16: it was also just pretty flat to begin with, because
- 59:26Speaker 16: you don't have that same passion again from a guy
- 59:29Speaker 16: paying twenty grand to seat, you know, the guy paying
- 59:33Speaker 16: two hundred and eighty dollars, okay, is the guy that's
- 59:35Speaker 16: going to show up and get in a fight and
- 59:37Speaker 16: throw a beer at somebody. And that's the home court
- 59:39Speaker 16: advantage we're known for, you know. So I actually thought
- 59:43Speaker 16: last night it was a letdowns. They were getting blown out,
- 59:46Speaker 16: but then of course they turned on the Jets and
- 59:49Speaker 16: made it look good, so we'll take I mean, I'm
- 59:51Speaker 16: excited for the city. I think it's a good win.
- 59:53Speaker 16: I'm as set of the city. I'm not excited for
- 59:55Speaker 16: the NYP day. They're the best people ever anywhere, Okay,
- 59:58Speaker 16: and with all they've got going on on this the
- 1:00:00Speaker 16: World Cup, just the idea that mom, Donnie's the mayor,
- 1:00:04Speaker 16: like the NYPD man, they're the best. Give him that.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, Jimmy fail a Platner winning? Is this like
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: a conspiracy? Did all you comedians get together and make
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: sure he won so you'd have him to pick on.
- 1:00:20Speaker 16: It's my favorite thing in the world that we went
- 1:00:23Speaker 16: from ten years of calling Trump a Nazi to nominating
- 1:00:27Speaker 16: the guy with the Hitlers dead. It's a funny stig.
- 1:00:31Speaker 16: It's like, up next they're going to tell you he's
- 1:00:34Speaker 16: a you know, Trump's a lousy bartender. Anyway, vote for
- 1:00:37Speaker 16: Bill Cosby. He's running.
- 1:00:39Speaker 9: You know. It's like, what are we doing here?
- 1:00:41Speaker 16: No one's even paying attention to themselves anymore. So it's
- 1:00:44Speaker 16: made it fun. And I'll tell you the truth.
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: The one thing.
- 1:00:48Speaker 16: They're not even bargaining for, you know, is that most
- 1:00:51Speaker 16: of these damaging stories are not coming from Republican opposition research,
- 1:00:56Speaker 16: Like the Republicans want this guy on the ticket because
- 1:01:00Speaker 16: they think they can and they can play the long
- 1:01:02Speaker 16: game and beat him because there's other dirt. And they
- 1:01:04Speaker 16: keep saying that. I was watching MSNBC this morning, They're like, well,
- 1:01:08Speaker 16: some of us are waiting for the other shoe to drop.
- 1:01:10Speaker 16: With Graham Platner, I'm like, how many shoes does this
- 1:01:12Speaker 16: guy have to drop? Is he a centipede? Like we've
- 1:01:16Speaker 16: had eighty seven scandals already, Like, when do you run
- 1:01:19Speaker 16: out of shoes? Is this guy of Melda Marcos didn't
- 1:01:21Speaker 16: have this many shoes?
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, no matter what they have, what what's
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: the difference. He's already got a million strikes against what
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: There's nothing that could be any worse than all this.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: So wow, Hey, Jill Biden, is that the worst book tour?
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: The worst rollout of a book you've ever seen. I'm
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: looking at an Amazon it's like number seventy two in
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: the top one hundred.
- 1:01:44Speaker 16: Yeah, pretty sad, the funniest thing in the world, And
- 1:01:47Speaker 16: nobody wanted to read The Idiot's Guide to Elder Abuse.
- 1:01:51Speaker 16: It's just, you know, the tougher it. It's depressing. She's like,
- 1:01:54Speaker 16: and then I brought him the waffle house you know,
- 1:01:57Speaker 16: well the nervous lady, cause you know what happens. I
- 1:02:00Speaker 16: bet you this. We've covered politics a long time now,
- 1:02:03Speaker 16: I'm completely speculating, Okay, But Joe Biden, you know, was
- 1:02:07Speaker 16: always a little bit of a dirt bag and a
- 1:02:09Speaker 16: wildcard in Washington, and a woman who's married to that
- 1:02:12Speaker 16: for fifty years had probably decided she was entitled to
- 1:02:16Speaker 16: the trappings of the presidency, meaning even if he was
- 1:02:19Speaker 16: cuckoo for cocoa puffs, we're better to get a guy
- 1:02:22Speaker 16: elder care than in the White House. While she flies
- 1:02:25Speaker 16: around on Air Force one, because if you remember she
- 1:02:28Speaker 16: went over to the Olympics, go back to California for
- 1:02:31Speaker 16: a hunter event, and then went back to the Olympics,
- 1:02:35Speaker 16: she was using Air Force one like it was a
- 1:02:37Speaker 16: Honda Accord and she was just running errands in it,
- 1:02:41Speaker 16: and then of course stopping to remind us that the
- 1:02:43Speaker 16: climate and the planet and reduce your emissions. Anyway, if
- 1:02:47Speaker 16: anybody needs me, give me the easy path, I'm flying
- 1:02:49Speaker 16: back to Italy.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Jimmy faila a UFC fight White House Sunday. Democrats are
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: all upset because UFC that's too Middle America for them,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: too normal for them. What do you think?
- 1:03:04Speaker 16: Yeah, I listen. I get that they're going to oppose
- 1:03:07Speaker 16: everything Trump does. Okay, but it's you know, it's a fight.
- 1:03:11Speaker 16: It's not even paid for by Trump. Uh. You know,
- 1:03:15Speaker 16: people are into it, and the truth is, like, you know,
- 1:03:18Speaker 16: how can the Democrats, especially the ones in this town,
- 1:03:21Speaker 16: they're complaining about the barbarism of a fight. I'm like, dude,
- 1:03:24Speaker 16: you ride the subway. You see wilder fights than this
- 1:03:27Speaker 16: every day. At least these guys are getting paid and
- 1:03:30Speaker 16: they have a house to go home to.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, Trump's an unusual guy. How many people
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: like who love the when it comes to sports there
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: at the Master's golf tournament and UFC fighting. That's quite
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: a range, isn't it.
- 1:03:44Speaker 16: Yeah, you know, we're probably gonna find out when this
- 1:03:46Speaker 16: is all over that he had a gambling problem one
- 1:03:49Speaker 16: day is at the next game. The next day at
- 1:03:51Speaker 16: the UFC game. Now I know why he's trying to
- 1:03:55Speaker 16: seize carg Island. He owes this bookie three trillion dollars. Sorry,
- 1:03:59Speaker 16: I it's all I'm in the whole Well, Jimmy Faylis
- 1:04:02Speaker 16: on here every night. You got to listen to his
- 1:04:04Speaker 16: show every night nine to midnight. It's fascinating funny nine
- 1:04:07Speaker 16: to midnight every night on w R. Who do you
- 1:04:10Speaker 16: have on tonight?
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: Ooh, we got a good one tonight.
- 1:04:13Speaker 17: Man.
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: So Steve Hilton, who.
- 1:04:16Speaker 16: Was running for governor in California made it into the runoff.
- 1:04:18Speaker 16: We had him on yesterday, but he felt bad because
- 1:04:20Speaker 16: he didn't have a good signal, and he's coming back
- 1:04:24Speaker 16: today to make it up to me. So we're getting
- 1:04:26Speaker 16: a reunion tour with Steve Hilton. And he told me
- 1:04:29Speaker 16: yesterday that he's upset that my dog didn't vote for him.
- 1:04:33Speaker 16: He goes cause it's California. Your dog can vote out here.
- 1:04:35Speaker 16: What's the deal?
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: Maybe my dog Bixby will be at the polls too.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: So be listening tonight nine to midnight.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Then on Saturday nights, make sure you watch Jimmy Fayla
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: every Saturday night ten o'clock, Fox News Channel. It is
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: the best late night show in television. Do we know
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: yet who's going to be on this week?
- 1:04:55Speaker 16: Sergeant Slaughters on this week because he's going to be
- 1:04:58Speaker 16: previewing the big UFC at the White House. So we're
- 1:05:01Speaker 16: going to have Sergeant Slaughter come by and talk fights
- 1:05:04Speaker 16: with the kids.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: It's going to be a rowdy one excellent and if
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: people want to come see the show in person, it's free.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Don't tell me because when you bring somebody it's a
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: very impressive date. But it's fine. You go to Fox
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: Across America to get the tickets, is that right?
- 1:05:18Speaker 16: Yes, sir, yep. If you don't have the twenty grand
