- 0:00Speaker 1: The Force will be with you always.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Hello and welcome back to another episode of Star Wars Alliance.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Of course, I'm your host, Clay and with me like
- 0:27Speaker 2: every single week, this is you know, a little bit
- 0:31Speaker 2: of a teaser for what's to come in the future.
- 0:33Speaker 2: This is actually the second time Katie and I have
- 0:37Speaker 2: uh this week, Katie, how you doing.
- 0:41Speaker 3: I'm okay, you know what. We have a c book
- 0:44Speaker 3: for my migraine that I'm having. We have water of
- 0:48Speaker 3: course too, so you know we're saying hydrated, kind of
- 0:53Speaker 3: sort of trying to survive.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna go also go ahead and apologize. Today has
- 0:59Speaker 2: been a very busy day for Abby and I. It
- 1:02Speaker 2: was a no cook night. So I have Wingstop literally
- 1:06Speaker 2: right next to me. So if you see me grab
- 1:09Speaker 2: a French fry out of nowhere, just know that that
- 1:12Speaker 2: is Wingstop really literally right next to me. So, guys,
- 1:18Speaker 2: before we jump into things, we always forget to push
- 1:22Speaker 2: this out the very beginning of episodes. Guys, we are
- 1:25Speaker 2: on social media now, we are on Instagram, we were
- 1:28Speaker 2: on Threads, and we are on Blue Sky. You're gonna
- 1:31Speaker 2: see a lot more posts from us. Currently. I am
- 1:37Speaker 2: in the middle of something kind of big announcement will
- 1:45Speaker 2: be coming eventually. I can't even say soon because I
- 1:48Speaker 2: have zero idea when all of that is going down.
- 1:53Speaker 2: But if all of a sudden you just kind of
- 1:56Speaker 2: see us drop off the face of the earth. When
- 1:58Speaker 2: it comes to social media, that is why I am
- 2:01Speaker 2: the one running it, and I try to jump on
- 2:05Speaker 2: there when I can. That being said, we also have
- 2:11Speaker 2: a Gmail account as well as a hotline of course.
- 2:15Speaker 2: That is eight three zero five three eight four eight eight.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Whoever wants to call and leave us a message or
- 2:22Speaker 2: text and leave us a message. You always can leave
- 2:24Speaker 2: us a review, leave us your thoughts on the show,
- 2:28Speaker 2: leave us your thoughts on the most recent Star Wars
- 2:32Speaker 2: book that you have read, any type of recommendation, stuff
- 2:36Speaker 2: like that. We welcome everything, so yeah, just remember to
- 2:40Speaker 2: leave some sort of username or tag or something so
- 2:44Speaker 2: we can acknowledge you when we read it on air.
- 2:49Speaker 2: But with that, oh yeah, of course, silly me, Blue Sky,
- 2:55Speaker 2: Instagram threads and Gmail. Star Wars Alliance No in the
- 3:00Speaker 2: Wars very important. Don't forget it, Katie. There's not much
- 3:08Speaker 2: of anything out there except for two major things. One is,
- 3:16Speaker 2: of course, the Mandalorian gro Group trailer that is something
- 3:20Speaker 2: we are going to talk about tonight as well as
- 3:23Speaker 2: I saw your very vague message on our Star Wars
- 3:29Speaker 2: Alliance chat, Well do you forget about that?
- 3:32Speaker 3: Because I couldn't. I couldn't look, I couldn't find it, So.
- 3:36Speaker 2: So I did want to just preface this and and
- 3:40Speaker 2: I'll go ahead and say it so we can move
- 3:42Speaker 2: it on to either next week or a future conversation.
- 3:46Speaker 2: H John Boyega had a lot of thoughts on how
- 3:51Speaker 2: he would change up and pursue the Star Wars story
- 3:58Speaker 2: with his of course saga in the sequel trilogy, and
- 4:04Speaker 2: he brought up some key points that a lot of
- 4:06Speaker 2: people are like praising him for. There's some people who
- 4:09Speaker 2: are like, hey, you need to like just like slow
- 4:11Speaker 2: your role there, buddy, and like all these different things.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I feel like that with them itself may be like
- 4:20Speaker 2: a like like a main topic within itself because there's
- 4:25Speaker 2: a lot to kind of break down there. So just
- 4:28Speaker 2: so you know we are aware of him talking about it,
- 4:31Speaker 2: we will get back to you when we have Because
- 4:34Speaker 2: I was the same way. I only saw people quoting
- 4:37Speaker 2: things that he was saying and nobody actually dropping the
- 4:40Speaker 2: actual interview. So that's what I was a little annoyed
- 4:44Speaker 2: with so we will get back to you on that.
- 4:50Speaker 2: But man Llori and Grogu, this also had what I
- 4:58Speaker 2: feel like is kind of polar rizo reactions from people.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Really, I haven't been on social media much, especially this
- 5:10Speaker 3: last week guys, because I've been dealing with Migraine, so
- 5:13Speaker 3: I see nothing basically.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I say polarizing. I say polarizing in the means of
- 5:20Speaker 2: like with each other. There is again people on one
- 5:24Speaker 2: side that are like, Yeah, Mandalorian, Grogu, It's gonna be
- 5:27Speaker 2: awesome Star Wars. Yeah, And then there's other people that's
- 5:31Speaker 2: just like, why do we need this. I even saw
- 5:36Speaker 2: somebody say, wow, this looks like a dumb down version
- 5:42Speaker 2: of the TV show, Like this looks like a filler
- 5:45Speaker 2: episode in the grander story that should be on the Mandalorian,
- 5:49Speaker 2: Like it doesn't look like that big of a highlight
- 5:52Speaker 2: of a film that it should. So I thought that
- 5:57Speaker 2: was an interesting take.
- 5:59Speaker 3: And people are I'm not gonna say dumb, but I
- 6:03Speaker 3: feel like that's a dumb take because it's Star Wars,
- 6:08Speaker 3: and people always forget the very first trailer you see,
- 6:11Speaker 3: you don't see plot in the trailer. The first trailer
- 6:16Speaker 3: is always for visuals and like fun moments.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all.
- 6:20Speaker 3: This trailer was based on research we did with Star
- 6:26Speaker 3: Wars celebration. It appears like this is actually maybe fifty
- 6:31Speaker 3: to fifty convention trailer, but also new footage.
- 6:35Speaker 2: New footage.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Yeah, so that kind of is exciting in my book
- 6:40Speaker 3: because they're breaking that previous, previous precedent, the precedent that
- 6:46Speaker 3: they have set. So I really enjoyed this trailer. I
- 6:51Speaker 3: think it looks like a lot of fun. I do
- 6:54Speaker 3: think there's a lot of fun visuals at play. I mean, sure,
- 6:59Speaker 3: is this problem going to be what a TV movie
- 7:02Speaker 3: looks like for Disney Plus? Maybe, But I do think
- 7:09Speaker 3: that it's getting a lot of If what you're saying
- 7:12Speaker 3: is accurate, it's getting a lot of heat for no
- 7:14Speaker 3: good reason because this looks fun.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think that is partially true. I think
- 7:21Speaker 2: for me, the biggest complaint that I have for the
- 7:26Speaker 2: entire release of this trailer is the poster. Like that's
- 7:32Speaker 2: really the only thing.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Poster is so ugly.
- 7:36Speaker 2: And I will say this, somebody did mention that the
- 7:41Speaker 2: Mandalorian and Grogu has had three different logos since its announcement.
- 7:50Speaker 2: It has yes, I think that's a little wild.
- 7:55Speaker 3: It's something that's very common because right now, because I
- 7:58Speaker 3: feel like Thunderbolt has like four or five logos.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Did it really?
- 8:05Speaker 3: So? Yeah, Plus the whole New Avengers thing like technically
- 8:12Speaker 3: is another logo in and of itself.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Yeah, So I feel like that's just the thing right now,
- 8:19Speaker 3: is that you get the concept art and then you
- 8:22Speaker 3: get the trailer, and then you get the final logo.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Like that's basically what this is. The logo doesn't bug
- 8:29Speaker 3: me realistically. I could probably get over the poster. But
- 8:36Speaker 3: for some reason, where like you typically have like your
- 8:41Speaker 3: billing for the actors at the top, Yeah, they chose
- 8:46Speaker 3: to list Pedro Pascal as the Mandalorian and they also
- 8:52Speaker 3: said starring Grogu as himself. I just I can't get
- 9:02Speaker 3: over that, Like how dumb.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Is that it is?
- 9:07Speaker 3: So it's a puppet.
- 9:10Speaker 2: He is a puppet, but it's part of the immersion.
- 9:14Speaker 2: It's part of like Grogu is bigger than all of
- 9:19Speaker 2: us type of ideal. Right, do I put it?
- 9:25Speaker 3: Then put it like a normal billing. The thing takes
- 9:28Speaker 3: up the entire right corner of the poster. Basic.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah, And I'm looking at the poster. Now, it is
- 9:39Speaker 2: very We all said the same thing in the g
- 9:43Speaker 2: Way chat. Everybody had the same sentiment. We understand the
- 9:49Speaker 2: idea behind or the reasoning behind the creative choices of
- 9:56Speaker 2: making the poster as is, Yeah, one, you're one to
- 10:00Speaker 2: make it feel nostalgic. This very much looks like an
- 10:05Speaker 2: old school like Indiana Jones and Ben Sure esque poster.
- 10:12Speaker 2: You look at something like old school as the Goonies,
- 10:15Speaker 2: same type of thing, and it has that oil painting. Look,
- 10:20Speaker 2: this is on purpose. They're wanting to get all of
- 10:25Speaker 2: those feelings that you had when watching those childhood movies.
- 10:30Speaker 2: So you're excited for this, but there is just so
- 10:34Speaker 2: much going on. The font is all over the place
- 10:40Speaker 2: because like you said, the the the.
- 10:45Speaker 3: What you share your screen.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Well, this one is kind of small, so I okay,
- 10:51Speaker 2: I'm trying to find like a full page poster of it,
- 10:54Speaker 2: and like you go into Wikipedia and you click it
- 10:57Speaker 2: and it's like literally the size of a freaking dominant.
- 11:00Speaker 2: That's like, what the hell is going on? That's not
- 11:02Speaker 2: what I looked for.
- 11:04Speaker 3: That was my issue right now.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Let me see if I can find maybe this one
- 11:12Speaker 2: this is bigger, Okay, I can deal with this. I
- 11:14Speaker 2: can deal with this one. Yes, okay. So here is
- 11:21Speaker 2: the poster. So you can't see my cursor unfortunately, just
- 11:25Speaker 2: because of the way streamyard works. But you have in
- 11:30Speaker 2: the top corner, you have the credits, you have your
- 11:33Speaker 2: cast right, Oh you can't see my okay, cool. You
- 11:36Speaker 2: see din Jarn, you see Grogu very fat in the middle.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Here you have the actual title card, then you have
- 11:44Speaker 2: the release date, and then down here you have a slogan.
- 11:48Speaker 2: This is all over the place. Somebody also pointed out
- 11:52Speaker 2: you have din Jarren in this poster twice, and you
- 11:56Speaker 2: have Grogu here three times. Like I think that's a
- 12:01Speaker 2: little like excessive.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Yeah I didn't even notice that, but yeah, like your
- 12:07Speaker 3: poster should only have characters on it once, you.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Would so so like, for instance, the only way I
- 12:17Speaker 2: could see that being like, hey, it's okay. If for
- 12:22Speaker 2: if you look at every iron Man poster, you're gonna
- 12:26Speaker 2: see Robert Downey Jr. And Iron Man. Those are technically
- 12:31Speaker 2: two different characters because Robert Daddy Junior is playing Tony
- 12:34Speaker 2: Stark and then you see iron Man. Now, we as
- 12:38Speaker 2: fans of the Mandalorian, know what den Jarren looks like.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Under the mask. But because we're playing into all of that,
- 12:47Speaker 2: we're not gonna have Petro Pascal on the poster. Although
- 12:53Speaker 2: I do think that's a mistake. I'm gonna go ahead
- 12:56Speaker 2: and say it. I think not having Page pat Scale's
- 13:00Speaker 2: face on the poster is a mistake.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Especially for this one where it is borderline immersive if
- 13:11Speaker 3: you want to call it that, like show the man
- 13:14Speaker 3: you put his name on the poster. This is not
- 13:17Speaker 3: immersive to that extent. You can put the guy on
- 13:20Speaker 3: the poster, have him front and center with Grogu, and
- 13:23Speaker 3: then you have everybody else, and you can get away
- 13:25Speaker 3: with Grogu being there multiple times.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I feel like, now I did I just saw both
- 13:33Speaker 2: the Mandalorian and Grogu are on this poster three times.
- 13:37Speaker 2: So uh. There is of course the very top din
- 13:43Speaker 2: Jarren right here next to his name. Then if you
- 13:48Speaker 2: look right next to the word or the number may
- 13:51Speaker 2: twenty second off to that is him facing this like
- 13:56Speaker 2: some sort of dragon esque serpent thing. And then on
- 14:02Speaker 2: the walker he is also there, So he is there
- 14:06Speaker 2: three times as well as Grogu on the poster three times.
- 14:10Speaker 3: I feel like if you showcase Pedro Pascal's face, the
- 14:14Speaker 3: whole point of having Pedro Pascal in this movie. We
- 14:18Speaker 3: know that he was brought on set, that he's going
- 14:21Speaker 3: to be showing his face in the movie.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Mm hmmm.
- 14:24Speaker 3: The whole point of having him in this is to
- 14:27Speaker 3: put people's butts in seats in a theater. Yeah, you
- 14:32Speaker 3: need to hype the man up.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so.
- 14:38Speaker 3: You also have Sigourney Weaver. I don't understand if you
- 14:41Speaker 3: were going to play into Okay, let's put Grogu as
- 14:44Speaker 3: himself on here. Put Pedro Pascal, Grogu, Sigourney Weaver.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I think you like, how could you not have she's
- 14:55Speaker 2: on the dem Sigourney Weaver put her in the billing, Yes,
- 15:00Speaker 2: hundred percent, as big of an actress as he as
- 15:03Speaker 2: she is, as big of a like sci fi hero
- 15:08Speaker 2: that she is. Due to aliens or alien and aliens,
- 15:13Speaker 2: you should one have her name on the billing, have
- 15:17Speaker 2: her name on the poster. I just think that is
- 15:28Speaker 2: it's a super silly poster. Again. I think for one,
- 15:35Speaker 2: us talking about it is doing the marketing that it's
- 15:39Speaker 2: meant to have. You know, we're doing their job there,
- 15:44Speaker 2: We are doing exactly what they want. We are talking
- 15:48Speaker 2: about it. That's what they want. I'm curious to see
- 15:53Speaker 2: what other posters will look like in the future, if
- 15:55Speaker 2: they will try to keep this aesthetic, if they will
- 15:58Speaker 2: hear some of the feedback and say, hey, maybe we
- 16:02Speaker 2: do need to change this up a bit. So I
- 16:04Speaker 2: am looking forward to that. But the trailer within itself, Katie,
- 16:13Speaker 2: like we said, it's fifty to fifty, there is some
- 16:18Speaker 2: of the uh celebration footage, some of what is new.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I'm gonna go ahead and say this. I think that
- 16:33Speaker 2: they changed the trailer specifically because the trailer was and
- 16:41Speaker 2: I'll go ahead and spoil this for the celebration video
- 16:45Speaker 2: because I do think that you will eventually see it.
- 16:50Speaker 2: The trailer had a cold open of like, man do
- 16:54Speaker 2: din Jarn like completely slaughtering stormtroopers? Do you remember that?
- 16:59Speaker 3: Oh yeah?
- 17:00Speaker 2: And then of course what ended up happening in real
- 17:04Speaker 2: life and all of that. I think maybe there was
- 17:07Speaker 2: an idea of like, hey, maybe we should change this
- 17:09Speaker 2: up a little bit. So I'm not gonna say that's
- 17:13Speaker 2: the reason for delay. We all know that the reason
- 17:15Speaker 2: because of the delay was the whole Jimmy Kimmel thing.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Disney was under fire. Disney was kind of running with
- 17:22Speaker 2: like a chicken with his head cut off. So that's
- 17:25Speaker 2: why the trailer didn't debut for that reason. But the
- 17:33Speaker 2: new footage that we saw, there's some people. Okay, so
- 17:40Speaker 2: I don't know. If you have the trailer in front
- 17:41Speaker 2: of you, people are freaking out at the character in
- 17:52Speaker 2: let's see here. I know how to do this, I
- 17:54Speaker 2: know how to do this. How do I do it? There?
- 17:56Speaker 2: We go frame by frame, second by second. In on
- 18:02Speaker 2: forty one seconds, there is a character that I don't
- 18:08Speaker 2: recognize whatsoever, but people were freaking out because of it.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Okay, hang on, I'm pulling it up. Okay, come on,
- 18:18Speaker 3: Star Wars dot Com YouTube channel, help me out here.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Okay, you said at forty one seconds, I don't know,
- 18:30Speaker 2: like I can't remember where I saw the tweets. I
- 18:33Speaker 2: don't know if I bookmarked it or not.
- 18:35Speaker 3: So somebody said that this is potentially I think I
- 18:39Speaker 3: remember seeing the tweet you talking about that this is
- 18:41Speaker 3: potentially a adult alien from Java's Palace in Return of
- 18:50Speaker 3: the Jedi. Oh there's I wouldn't be able to find
- 18:58Speaker 3: the tweet because I did see the tweet you're talking about,
- 19:04Speaker 3: and my close captions are on it, and it doesn't say anything. Yeah,
- 19:15Speaker 3: that's the tweet, is that the if you look closely
- 19:19Speaker 3: in the background of Return of the Jedi at Javis Palace.
- 19:23Speaker 3: I don't know what point the alien there as you
- 19:27Speaker 3: like see them come through, looks familiar to this guy.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Okay, okay, Like I I did not recognize the species whatsoever.
- 19:38Speaker 2: It kind of looks like a weird like serpent type
- 19:43Speaker 2: thing that has like a dome like head, but he
- 19:48Speaker 2: has arms. He's carrying some sort of like staff as
- 19:52Speaker 2: we see in that split second of the trailer. But
- 19:57Speaker 2: we see zeb in this trailer as well well, and
- 20:04Speaker 2: we also see these giant droids, huge droids, Katie. This
- 20:17Speaker 2: is kind of like the first that I've seen of
- 20:20Speaker 2: this type of like humanoid droid esque thing.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Are you talking about in like the fighting pit?
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yeah? Uh, Din Jarn is like shooting them seconds. Yeah,
- 20:37Speaker 2: like fifty seven to fifty eight seconds, these two droids
- 20:41Speaker 2: Dinjarn is shooting at Have you ever seen any type
- 20:46Speaker 2: of like Juggernaut ask a droid like this before?
- 20:52Speaker 3: It would probably go back to legends, if I'm being honest,
- 20:55Speaker 3: probably in the in the New Jedi Order, what the
- 21:00Speaker 3: Wong robots that Land of designs and I'm sorry, I'm
- 21:04Speaker 3: kind of spoiling that that's going to happen. But we're
- 21:08Speaker 3: talking about that on Patreon, guys, like, come join us.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yes, yes, for sure.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Uh, that's probably the thing that I can think of
- 21:17Speaker 3: off the top of my migraine adult brain.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Okay, and then uh, as far as everything else in
- 21:25Speaker 2: the trailer, a lot of exposition shots, a lot of
- 21:31Speaker 2: wide shot of explosions.
- 21:34Speaker 3: And then no dialogue in this, guys, Yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 2: There's no dialogue in this whatsoever. I think even when
- 21:43Speaker 2: Sigourney Weaver is here, it's just the moment with Grogu
- 21:46Speaker 2: when he's trying to use the force to grab the bowl.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Well, I do take that back. There is one piece
- 21:52Speaker 3: of dialogue at the end when Groku shoots the mouse
- 21:58Speaker 3: thing and the Baboo Frick character goes good shop baby.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Oh okay, okay, okay, yeah, I was literally about to
- 22:06Speaker 2: bring that up. This like mouse rat thing looks absolutely
- 22:10Speaker 2: terrifying by the way. It looks like a cyclops type
- 22:14Speaker 2: of rat, and it looks huge, it looks ginormous. But yeah,
- 22:21Speaker 2: that is the trailer. I think that this is a
- 22:24Speaker 2: good enough trailer to get people hyped again. One thing
- 22:29Speaker 2: that you specifically said is there is no story, there
- 22:34Speaker 2: is no inkling of well, I'll just say this, there's
- 22:39Speaker 2: no context to the actual footage that we're seeing, correct,
- 22:44Speaker 2: which I think is a great way to get people
- 22:48Speaker 2: intrigued to be like, Okay, why is Mandalorian Grogu running
- 22:54Speaker 2: away from these people? Why is Grogu fighting this giant rat?
- 22:59Speaker 2: Why is Dinjar in fighting you know, in this giant pit.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Who was that guy that looked like jab of the Hut?
- 23:05Speaker 2: You know? Because I feel like that's gonna be a
- 23:07Speaker 2: lot a majority of the general audience is gonna be like,
- 23:11Speaker 2: whh did Jaba have a brother or something like that.
- 23:14Speaker 2: You know, that's gonna be the main kind of talk
- 23:17Speaker 2: of the town, which I think is gonna be very
- 23:20Speaker 2: very fun. Yeah, but that's essentially it. And we don't
- 23:27Speaker 2: have any further news topics. I don't believe I can
- 23:32Speaker 2: double okay looking here, Yeah, nothing whatsoever. So our main
- 23:43Speaker 2: topic everyone of the night is Lego Star Wars Rebuild
- 23:51Speaker 2: the Galaxy, Pieces of the Past. This was a four
- 23:58Speaker 2: episode seal. Part one, Part two, Part three, and part
- 24:03Speaker 2: four are the titles. Now, Katie, I'm gonna ask this
- 24:09Speaker 2: of you can we just talk about this overall, because, Yeah,
- 24:18Speaker 2: my question to Disney is, why isn't this a movie?
- 24:22Speaker 2: Why can't I just sit down and watch this all
- 24:26Speaker 2: the way through?
- 24:27Speaker 3: Well, and this was I I feel like we had
- 24:34Speaker 3: this conversation about season one, and I feel like this
- 24:39Speaker 3: is Disney's way of trying to skirt the bounds of
- 24:46Speaker 3: like contracts basically that they signed with unions, because this
- 24:51Speaker 3: is built like a movie. It's just split up into
- 24:55Speaker 3: four parts. This is a two hour movie bay at
- 24:59Speaker 3: the end of the day, and it's paced according to
- 25:04Speaker 3: a movie. That is my biggest critique with this. It
- 25:06Speaker 3: was my biggest critique with last season of Rebuild the
- 25:12Speaker 3: Galaxy was hey, you're pacing works for a movie, it
- 25:16Speaker 3: doesn't work for a TV series.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:19Speaker 3: And the fact that they named this season two, like
- 25:25Speaker 3: this is season two with pieces of This is season
- 25:28Speaker 3: two of Rebuild the Galaxy and they just made it
- 25:32Speaker 3: another TV series.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that was the other thing, Like, you don't go
- 25:38Speaker 2: to Rebuild the Galaxy and go into a drop down
- 25:41Speaker 2: menu for season two like every other show on every
- 25:44Speaker 2: other platform. Yep, it's so confusing. I don't know why
- 25:48Speaker 2: they would do that.
- 25:50Speaker 3: It's nothing against the show in and of itself, like
- 25:54Speaker 3: the people who made it, This is a corporate decision.
- 25:57Speaker 3: I'm like one hundred betting to split this up and go, no,
- 26:02Speaker 3: this needs to be a TV show. But you're only
- 26:04Speaker 3: given two hours. Yeah, if you wanted it to be
- 26:07Speaker 3: a TV show, you really needed another hour because Solitus
- 26:11Speaker 3: is so intriguing. And I know you can go, oh, well,
- 26:15Speaker 3: this is Lego Star Wars, so it's for kids. No,
- 26:18Speaker 3: there's adults watching this too. Yes, kids are.
- 26:25Speaker 2: The one thing that I I It's funny that we're
- 26:27Speaker 2: talking about Lego here because we just recently We just
- 26:35Speaker 2: recently brought up the conversation of Lego on Ringeo Alliance
- 26:39Speaker 2: Power Rangers would be a phenomenal ip that Lego could
- 26:46Speaker 2: attach to here with Lego, Lego has shown time and
- 26:53Speaker 2: time again with its writing, with its comedy, that this
- 26:59Speaker 2: is not just a kid's show, slash movie, or product.
- 27:09Speaker 2: No twelve year old is coughing up the money for
- 27:13Speaker 2: a one and sixty dollars Lego set. Sorry, not happening.
- 27:19Speaker 2: It's in the kids section, it's in the toy section.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Adults are buying that in their building. Sorry they are.
- 27:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I really love the Lego ip I wish I
- 27:35Speaker 4: had the money to purchase a death Star, a Millennium
- 27:40Speaker 4: Falcon and all of those other things.
- 27:44Speaker 2: It's crazy expensive. But I think that Lego, like I said,
- 27:50Speaker 2: knows its audience can make these jokes. Like there's the
- 27:58Speaker 2: very last part, which, by the way, not a huge
- 28:02Speaker 2: fan of her being like the only odd one out.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Until the very end, but I get the joke.
- 28:12Speaker 2: The joke is like nobody kind of liked her in
- 28:17Speaker 2: the beginning anyway, she was different, so she needed to
- 28:21Speaker 2: be different in this and then at the very end
- 28:24Speaker 2: she's like, oh, I'm the perfect fit for this one scenario. Awesome,
- 28:33Speaker 2: and like I appreciate that. I there's so many levels
- 28:38Speaker 2: of that. And then like I almost got teary eyed
- 28:41Speaker 2: because like hearing Ashley be as like playful sounding in
- 28:48Speaker 2: this series and at the very end saying, oh, I
- 28:52Speaker 2: haven't had this much fun since the Clone wars peak,
- 28:56Speaker 2: it's absolutely amazing. I love whoever threw that line in there. Yeah,
- 29:02Speaker 2: I love you so much. I love that line.
- 29:05Speaker 3: There's so many of those lines in this show where
- 29:09Speaker 3: it's just kind of like collbacks is like, especially when
- 29:14Speaker 3: Luke was like, oh, like this is the best day
- 29:17Speaker 3: ever for the Skywalker family. Nothing bad is gonna happen
- 29:21Speaker 3: on the once.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Nothing bad is gonna happen to the Skywalker Family. I
- 29:26Speaker 2: was die.
- 29:29Speaker 3: And there's like the whole green thing with Leya too
- 29:34Speaker 3: is absolutely fucking hysterical.
- 29:37Speaker 2: I love not only do I love that, but I
- 29:39Speaker 2: love that Hans Solo is literally nowhere to be found,
- 29:42Speaker 2: Like he literally doesn't exist, which I think is absolutely
- 29:46Speaker 2: hilarious because it was.
- 29:48Speaker 3: A villain in the in the last season.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, but like also like Chewbacca is like a
- 29:57Speaker 2: giant Kaiju in this which makes no sense.
- 30:02Speaker 5: But okay, there's uh, we.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Have the return of Darth jar Jar.
- 30:16Speaker 6: I was dying and charge he's like, oh my legs,
- 30:22Speaker 6: make my sauce sneaky wreaking now like.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Now the only the only thing that I kind of
- 30:28Speaker 2: like hate about his return is literally him just saying, hey,
- 30:33Speaker 2: I've returned, and then we don't see him ever again.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Like that's kind of the one thing, Like he didn't
- 30:40Speaker 2: have any more screen time than that one segment.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Yeah, and then lines, but he's not like a main character.
- 30:49Speaker 3: He has the bit at the end he's like, do
- 30:51Speaker 3: you guys think that we should just join them and
- 30:54Speaker 3: just have peace in our galaxy. And like I was like, nah, dude.
- 31:03Speaker 2: But the entire premise of this season is, uh, you
- 31:11Speaker 2: brought up. Uh. There is a new character by the
- 31:18Speaker 2: name of Solitus. We find out that he is Bob
- 31:26Speaker 2: Arian Bob Rian, that's his name, Barbarian, a falls master,
- 31:36Speaker 2: his old master. He is Jedi Bob's old master, which
- 31:42Speaker 2: I I love. How like Jedi Bob is trying to
- 31:45Speaker 2: get rid of that name, Like, oh, don't call me
- 31:48Speaker 2: Jedi Bob. Don't call me Jedi Bob. I'm your master, now,
- 31:50Speaker 2: don't call me Jedi Bob. I was literally in the
- 31:55Speaker 2: store this week, me and Amberlin walked through the toy
- 32:01Speaker 2: section and I was like, oh, Legos, oh Star Wars,
- 32:06Speaker 2: Jedi Bob is plastered all over those boxes. You're not
- 32:09Speaker 2: getting rid of the name, dude. I'm sorry, but uh,
- 32:15Speaker 2: Jedi Bob's master. Oh h what was his name again? Uh, Solitus. Solitus.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Solitus was basically he I don't know if he was
- 32:29Speaker 2: the one who found or if he if they just
- 32:32Speaker 2: stumbled upon the forcehold.
- 32:37Speaker 3: He was the one who found it on a holocron.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right. Of the Forcehold, and Jedi Bob saw
- 32:48Speaker 2: this as a dangerous thing and like he could see
- 32:51Speaker 2: that Solitus was, you know, gonna be using it for
- 32:54Speaker 2: nefarious reasons and all of that, and so in a
- 32:56Speaker 2: flashback we see that Jedi Bob pushed him to the
- 33:00Speaker 2: Forcehold and then he was lost forever, or so he thought.
- 33:06Speaker 2: We have, of course, the two main brothers, Sig and
- 33:13Speaker 2: uh Dev Dev that's right, Darth Devastator, that's right, Dev
- 33:21Speaker 2: having these very intense dreams slash nightmares, and we find
- 33:28Speaker 2: out that it's all Solitists. Solitus is the one that's
- 33:30Speaker 2: manipulating them to use the dark side and the light
- 33:35Speaker 2: side of the Force that being the Force building versus
- 33:38Speaker 2: the Force destruction to get him out of the Forcehold.
- 33:45Speaker 2: When this happens, they there's I love every choreographed fight
- 33:50Speaker 2: in this because I love the cleverness of the building
- 33:58Speaker 2: because animators have to think about that, like writers have
- 34:01Speaker 2: to think about that. I think it's very unique and
- 34:03Speaker 2: it's very fun. What do you think.
- 34:07Speaker 3: I The fight scenes are just super fun, and like
- 34:13Speaker 3: especially in the final episode with the final battle with
- 34:17Speaker 3: Solitus where they're building and breaking and building and just
- 34:21Speaker 3: a dev diving to save Sig from going back into
- 34:25Speaker 3: the fourfold. It's super creative to add these things into
- 34:31Speaker 3: the fight. But you also see how much the characters
- 34:34Speaker 3: grow during this, because like Jedi Bob is back seat Jedi,
- 34:40Speaker 3: and I love how sick that was fun. I like
- 34:42Speaker 3: that back seat Jedi like is like Duck builds figs.
- 34:46Speaker 3: It is like you could totally see Jedi Bob doing
- 34:51Speaker 3: that based on the character that Bobby Bonihan has built,
- 34:55Speaker 3: and it's just so much fun.
- 34:58Speaker 2: I I and no, that's another thing. Oh, one thing
- 35:01Speaker 2: I feel like should be, you know, our first thing
- 35:04Speaker 2: to talk about that we didn't talk about. How'd you
- 35:06Speaker 2: feel about the opening crawl?
- 35:09Speaker 3: I was cackling. I was dying so hard. It's like,
- 35:15Speaker 3: because it's totally what I feel like happens in like
- 35:18Speaker 3: the Lego Star Wars video games. Sometimes it's like you
- 35:22Speaker 3: see that, but then like there was one video game
- 35:26Speaker 3: where you could like go back and it was like
- 35:28Speaker 3: a post credit but you were like in the crawl
- 35:30Speaker 3: and you were like in the ships and you were
- 35:32Speaker 3: like diving around and stuff. Or maybe I'm making that up.
- 35:36Speaker 3: I don't know, Oh, but I just it felt so
- 35:41Speaker 3: much fun.
- 35:42Speaker 2: The Lego the Lego series. This Lego series, in particular
- 35:47Speaker 2: Rebuild the Galaxy genuinely feels like a sandbox filled with Legos,
- 35:56Speaker 2: and they do it on purpose. It's very, very fun.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Sig during the opening crawl, he's the one narrating, and
- 36:05Speaker 2: then he's like, I'm getting tired of this. It's going
- 36:08Speaker 2: too slow. I'm gonna do this my own way, and
- 36:10Speaker 2: then literally jumps into the credit starts jumping on all
- 36:13Speaker 2: the letters, building things with his force building and explaining
- 36:19Speaker 2: everything that has happened of course in the first Rebuild
- 36:22Speaker 2: the Galaxy season and kind of setting the path to
- 36:28Speaker 2: you know where we are today. I really dig that.
- 36:32Speaker 2: I like that a lot. Do you have any favorite
- 36:37Speaker 2: cameos in this one?
- 36:40Speaker 3: Let's be real, Okay, let's be real.
- 36:46Speaker 6: When yes he said Maa when she was counting down
- 36:52Speaker 6: the light people who she could contact for the Alliance,
- 36:57Speaker 6: and she said, Maraa, I jump job.
- 37:00Speaker 2: It was like what I was I was hoping. I
- 37:05Speaker 2: was hoping that this was one cameo that they just
- 37:08Speaker 2: kept hidden from the entire community just to see your reaction,
- 37:13Speaker 2: and it hurt me so much. By the end of
- 37:17Speaker 2: the show, we didn't see her. I was like, oh no.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Okay, I have a headcanon because okay, so there's a
- 37:25Speaker 3: Skeleton the Skeleton Crew Blue Elephant Kid in the final episode.
- 37:31Speaker 3: He's there and he is talking with this lego women
- 37:37Speaker 3: figurine who's in all white and has straight red hair.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Really, is this at the very end?
- 37:48Speaker 3: Is at the very end? It's in like the battle sequence.
- 37:51Speaker 3: It's like where Yesie is like like trying to get
- 37:56Speaker 3: her pet talk together. I think it's in the second one,
- 38:00Speaker 3: but it's like right before they go out and are like,
- 38:02Speaker 3: we're gonna go take those droids down.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Okay, let me see. I have to see this now.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Because like I have no idea who that person is. Otherwise,
- 38:15Speaker 3: like there's so many cameos in here that I would
- 38:17Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to go to Star Wars explains review.
- 38:21Speaker 3: I'm sure they are going to break down all of
- 38:24Speaker 3: the cameos and whatnot in this. Oh here's a star
- 38:31Speaker 3: wars dot com article about our favorite deep cuts and
- 38:34Speaker 3: fun facts. Let's see sid Greeblings, lightsabers, gleaming Orange Jackson,
- 38:44Speaker 3: a self proclaimed proclaimed real deep cut ah Sosoka Tano
- 38:51Speaker 3: obviously Revin uh Baby Yoda uh Port Gals the day
- 39:00Speaker 3: Sisters of Dak. That was funny.
- 39:03Speaker 2: I loved the reuse of the poor goals the redesign.
- 39:11Speaker 3: And that was like they looked like cats and I
- 39:14Speaker 3: was like, what are you talking about? There? And Purgols like.
- 39:19Speaker 2: What I I really dug that. I thought that was
- 39:22Speaker 2: really really fun. But I'm trying to find the scene
- 39:30Speaker 2: because I didn't even notice he was there.
- 39:33Speaker 3: So they do refit. They don't put the person who
- 39:37Speaker 3: I was talking about on screen at the end, but
- 39:39Speaker 3: they do in the Star Wars dot Com article. I'm
- 39:42Speaker 3: gonna to share this because obviously have to. This is
- 39:47Speaker 3: the Star Wars dot Com easter X So here's Yesie
- 39:53Speaker 3: and here's mar Jade. Choice is of one and even
- 39:58Speaker 3: this we had to check it for ears were deceiving us.
- 40:01Speaker 3: But the caption's confirmed.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Oh okay, So of course I cannot share this because
- 40:08Speaker 2: I'm on Disney. Plus they're gonna stop us from being
- 40:11Speaker 2: able to view it. Yes, but I literally paused on
- 40:16Speaker 2: the exact scene.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, that one.
- 40:23Speaker 2: So you believe this is it could be? I okay,
- 40:35Speaker 2: So I'm not.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Saying I'm saying I don't know if any other red
- 40:39Speaker 3: peaded Star Wars characters.
- 40:43Speaker 2: And I'm having trouble thinking of one either. That's the
- 40:46Speaker 2: problem is, like, I don't think there is one.
- 40:53Speaker 3: She's dressed in all white, which is a little weird.
- 40:56Speaker 3: But if she's on the good side.
- 40:58Speaker 2: I was gonna say, if she's opposite of what she
- 41:02Speaker 2: supposed to be in Star Wars lore, she is going
- 41:08Speaker 2: to have, you know, all white. You also, uh, one
- 41:15Speaker 2: thing that I picked up here, cad Bane has a
- 41:18Speaker 2: green lightsaber in uh. In this season we also see oh, shoot,
- 41:26Speaker 2: what is her name from? Uh? Which one?
- 41:31Speaker 3: Bb wing?
- 41:34Speaker 2: Bb wing? Are you talking about?
- 41:36Speaker 3: Jedi?
- 41:39Speaker 4: Uh?
- 41:41Speaker 3: Jen Ursa was a Sith and I didn't remember her
- 41:43Speaker 3: being a Sith.
- 41:45Speaker 2: No, there was You're right there. Uh, there is a
- 41:52Speaker 2: hunter sighting. It's almost a blink and you miss it
- 41:59Speaker 2: online to I Wrecker, I didn't see Wrecker. What the heck?
- 42:04Speaker 3: I saw him today when I was rewatching it.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Oh, there he is. He's literally like he's one of
- 42:09Speaker 2: the last, like behind the crowd. I see him now.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, apparently in a pirate queen Amidala's ship. There's
- 42:21Speaker 3: obviously we know Cassie Andrew, There's zam Wessell n and
- 42:24Speaker 3: Nubb and also Kyle Catarn also makes an appearance.
- 42:30Speaker 2: I am an idiot. I watched this episode almost three
- 42:35Speaker 2: full times and didn't realize that the person in the
- 42:40Speaker 2: freaking Center is Omega.
- 42:45Speaker 3: Oh is that who that is? I kept trying to
- 42:47Speaker 3: figure that out.
- 42:49Speaker 2: It's not like it's not like they're gonna have multiple
- 42:51Speaker 2: characters of the same characters. So it's not like it's
- 42:54Speaker 2: young Annie. That's Omega.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Yeah, that's so.
- 42:58Speaker 2: So we have Wrecker, we have Hunter, we have Omega.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Who is the uh oh the rebellion build on Hope,
- 43:09Speaker 2: that's and Or Uh that's his like coat and everything.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Yep.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Oh, wait, is that who the redhead?
- 43:24Speaker 3: Oh?
- 43:24Speaker 2: Wait? No, she has is she red head? She's redhead?
- 43:30Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Mon's cousin.
- 43:34Speaker 3: No, she's not redheaded?
- 43:37Speaker 2: Is she a blonde?
- 43:41Speaker 3: The other person I thought of was Mond, but I
- 43:43Speaker 3: was like Mond with long hair.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Like, yeah, it just looked a little off. Huh.
- 43:52Speaker 3: Okay, we'll have to watch the Star Wars Explained video when.
- 43:59Speaker 2: He when he breaks everything down. Yeah, that's what I
- 44:02Speaker 2: was thinking. Also, there is also who is the the
- 44:07Speaker 2: name of We're actually going to be reading their story? Uh,
- 44:13Speaker 2: the Trooper who uh leaves the first order, the female
- 44:28Speaker 2: that everybody thinks is Lando's daughter.
- 44:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, oh my gosh. Yeah, because she's a Jedi.
- 44:35Speaker 2: She's a Jedi in here as well, which I thought
- 44:39Speaker 2: was really really cool. But also one thing.
- 44:42Speaker 3: She was in the first season.
- 44:45Speaker 2: She was in the first season two. Okay, yeah, Jona, Yeah,
- 44:49Speaker 2: that's right. Okay, Jane or Johnnah, one of the two
- 44:54Speaker 2: I want. I'm I'm going to speak it into existence now,
- 45:08Speaker 2: either before or after season I'm gonna put this in
- 45:14Speaker 2: quotations season three is announced. Either before or after season
- 45:20Speaker 2: three is announced, we are also going to get an
- 45:23Speaker 2: announcement of a Rebuild the Galaxy video game.
- 45:28Speaker 3: I can think it.
- 45:30Speaker 2: I want a Rebuild the Galaxy video game where either Lego,
- 45:42Speaker 2: you can come talk to me, Okay, I have all you.
- 45:46Speaker 2: I'm your idea, man. Either we play a Sig going
- 45:51Speaker 2: through this adventure of rebuilding the Galaxy, or you create
- 45:58Speaker 2: your own character and Sig is the.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Reference person.
- 46:05Speaker 2: I think Sig no. I think Sig could be like
- 46:09Speaker 2: the companion that you follow that you like, he is
- 46:12Speaker 2: the one that like you're still following the story, but
- 46:16Speaker 2: like you get to play as this other Jedi. That is,
- 46:25Speaker 2: you know, you can make Jedi jar jar or you like,
- 46:31Speaker 2: you get to pick a character in existing in existence
- 46:35Speaker 2: that is not a canon Jedi and make them into
- 46:38Speaker 2: a Jedi for this game. Yeah, I think that would
- 46:42Speaker 2: be fun. I think fun. Yeah, and you could even
- 46:47Speaker 2: play as if you weren't a Jedi, because I think
- 46:50Speaker 2: that just because you are a Forced Builder does not
- 46:52Speaker 2: mean that you are a Jedi. So like, if that's
- 46:55Speaker 2: not your thing, if you want to play like freaking
- 47:01Speaker 2: you get to choose Mandalorian freakin' padame boom, like, but
- 47:11Speaker 2: you're a force Builder, you know. Like I think the
- 47:15Speaker 2: the I know it could be a little like convoluted,
- 47:20Speaker 2: but I think the concept is fun. I think that
- 47:23Speaker 2: the idea of a Rebuild the Galaxy game could be
- 47:28Speaker 2: a lot of fun.
- 47:29Speaker 3: I agree, I think, And I think Lego is going
- 47:34Speaker 3: to be searching for the next Star Wars thing to do,
- 47:38Speaker 3: so Rebuild the Galaxy makes sense. I feel like.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Now I will say this, they are having a lot
- 47:47Speaker 2: to chew on with their most recent announcement with Legacy
- 47:52Speaker 2: of the Dark Knight. That's going to be a massive game.
- 47:56Speaker 3: But I am excited for that. But I don't have
- 47:58Speaker 3: a console that will work with that.
- 48:00Speaker 2: I am very excited for it also, But I do
- 48:04Speaker 2: think that in recent years, Lego has not been churning
- 48:11Speaker 2: out the games like they used to, and so I
- 48:15Speaker 2: think they're focused on bigger projects. With that being said,
- 48:19Speaker 2: after Dark Knight, I think going back to Star Wars
- 48:25Speaker 2: would be fun with Rebuild the Galaxy.
- 48:29Speaker 3: For sure.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Was there anything here that you wanted to specifically call
- 48:36Speaker 2: out talk about.
- 48:40Speaker 3: I think I think Dan Stevens did a really incredible
- 48:43Speaker 3: job with Solitus. He sounds like himself, but he also
- 48:49Speaker 3: has just a lot of promise in general as a
- 48:55Speaker 3: character in the Star Wars universe. So I really doug
- 49:00Speaker 3: what he did with Solitus. Again, would have loved to
- 49:04Speaker 3: have like two more episodes with Solitists as a focus,
- 49:09Speaker 3: just because I feel like so cool. I loved the
- 49:15Speaker 3: snoke Pit that was hysterical. I was like, what the heck.
- 49:25Speaker 2: I love how they were I love the the nodding
- 49:29Speaker 2: joke that they all did, Like it started with Sig
- 49:33Speaker 2: and it went through everybody, and then it went to
- 49:36Speaker 2: Luke and then to every single one of the Snoke
- 49:39Speaker 2: clones and then back to Luke and He's like is
- 49:42Speaker 2: this supposed to mean something? Where is everybody nodding at me,
- 49:45Speaker 2: like what's going on? I thought that was absolutely hilarious
- 49:50Speaker 2: as well. I loved the Skywalker reunion. We had every
- 49:57Speaker 2: single member of the Skywalker family together, Darth Vader talking
- 50:04Speaker 2: about his first love and they're like, that means she's
- 50:09Speaker 2: our mom. Like it's like, I thought, it was absolutely hilarious.
- 50:16Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of any other moments here.
- 50:21Speaker 3: It really is just a blast, guys getting to see
- 50:25Speaker 3: all of this happen on screen. This is what Star
- 50:29Speaker 3: Wars is always meant to be. It's just plain fun,
- 50:32Speaker 3: and so I am glad that Disney has kind of
- 50:37Speaker 3: made this a priority. I do think the Rebuild the
- 50:40Speaker 3: Galaxy has been much more successful of a storytelling versus
- 50:45Speaker 3: the Lego Holiday specials that they were.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Yes, I agree, although I like tend that.
- 50:56Speaker 3: These are cannon. Yes, everybody was trying to make the
- 51:00Speaker 3: holiday specials work in Cannon.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and I liked the anthology esque feel to the
- 51:09Speaker 2: Holiday specials, to where like we got more than one story.
- 51:13Speaker 2: But I like this even though it's separated into four
- 51:17Speaker 2: different episodes, because it really should be a movie. I
- 51:20Speaker 2: do like this one character that we didn't bring up,
- 51:23Speaker 2: which was the talk of the town before it even aired,
- 51:27Speaker 2: was Darth Revin. I liked how everybody was like, I
- 51:33Speaker 2: really hope that they like there was there was a
- 51:36Speaker 2: debate whether they would choose for Reven to be a
- 51:39Speaker 2: male or a female. Didn't find out. They kept it.
- 51:45Speaker 2: It doesn't matter, It doesn't matter exactly. I liked that
- 51:51Speaker 2: they kept Revin very canonically accurate. If you ever play,
- 52:00Speaker 2: if you ever had get the chance to play Katie
- 52:03Speaker 2: or watch the scenes you play as spoiler alert for
- 52:09Speaker 2: a almost twenty year old game, twenty five year old game,
- 52:12Speaker 2: jez Gosh, I can't even remember how old that game is.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Your character regains their memories and finds out that you
- 52:21Speaker 2: are Darth Revin. But your character doesn't talk in the
- 52:26Speaker 2: game because it is a type of game where you
- 52:29Speaker 2: choose which responses you have, but you don't have an
- 52:33Speaker 2: actual voice actor play in your spot, so you never
- 52:38Speaker 2: get to hear the voice of your character. So's it's
- 52:43Speaker 2: canonically accurate. Revin just doesn't speak whatsoever in this special.
- 52:48Speaker 2: But we do get Darth Kenobi in here as well.
- 52:54Speaker 3: That was funny because he has like a goodbye there
- 52:56Speaker 3: when he like flies out of a foresthhold, and it
- 52:59Speaker 3: is like goodbye.
- 53:00Speaker 2: There, Yeah, there, I I thought again, it's these clever, silly,
- 53:09Speaker 2: corny jokes that actually work for legos aesthetic. I think
- 53:15Speaker 2: it's very very good. But with that, guys, I think
- 53:21Speaker 2: that is it for tonight's episode. We will be back
- 53:27Speaker 2: next week with the review of Revenge of the Sith,
- 53:40Speaker 2: Yes novelization Revenge of the Sith. I've already told Katie
- 53:45Speaker 2: that I have I have a hot take. She wants
- 53:47Speaker 2: to go ahead and retire me and get a new
- 53:51Speaker 2: co host. I have not shared in full length what
- 53:57Speaker 2: the hot take is. I've only shared about half of it.
- 54:01Speaker 2: So we'll see how that review goes. With that being said, guys,
- 54:06Speaker 2: the Deluxe Edition is nearing its release, so remember to
- 54:12Speaker 2: pick that up because we are going to review that
- 54:14Speaker 2: as well. We're gonna talk about all the annotations, talk
- 54:19Speaker 2: about the new Oh it comes with a new uh uh.
- 54:26Speaker 3: The cover the sprayed Edges, Sprayed Edges.
- 54:30Speaker 2: But it also has a new opening. It has like
- 54:32Speaker 2: a new a new I can't remember who wrote the
- 54:35Speaker 2: new uh. I don't feel like it has a new opening,
- 54:40Speaker 2: not not like narratively wise it has a hization, not
- 54:48Speaker 2: a new dedicate. I I know what I'm what I'm thinking,
- 54:52Speaker 2: and the words that I'm processing through my mouth are
- 54:54Speaker 2: not all the same.
- 54:55Speaker 3: It'll hit you as soon as we hang up.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Like it most it usually does. It usually does. But
- 55:02Speaker 2: we will be talking about that when it is released. Guys.
- 55:06Speaker 2: We have a lot of reviews in the fall and
- 55:10Speaker 2: winter of this year, so I'm trying to keep up
- 55:16Speaker 2: and I'm here on the show, so so be on
- 55:20Speaker 2: the lookout for the reviews.
- 55:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:25Speaker 2: No, I mean, it's it's fun. I think more so
- 55:30Speaker 2: because just the main project that I am currently working
- 55:34Speaker 2: on is taking literally all of my brain cells. So
- 55:39Speaker 2: it's a it's a it's a wild ride. But with that, guys,
- 55:44Speaker 2: thank you so much for being here. Of course, you
- 55:46Speaker 2: can always follow us on Instagram, Blue Sky, and threads
- 55:50Speaker 2: again at Star Wars Alliance, our hotline, and the Gmail
- 55:58Speaker 2: of course is always available, and you can always follow
- 56:02Speaker 2: me at fanboy Clay on all three of those platforms
- 56:07Speaker 2: as well. The hotline again is eight three zero five
- 56:11Speaker 2: three eight four eight two eight. And remember for all
- 56:15Speaker 2: of the handles, including our Gmail is Star Wars Alliance.
- 56:20Speaker 2: There is no a in Wars. That's very important. Don't
- 56:23Speaker 2: forget it. Please go check out the Ranger Alliance episode
- 56:29Speaker 2: that we just recently had. It was a lot of fun.
- 56:32Speaker 2: We are nearing the end. Surprisingly, there is a lot
- 56:39Speaker 2: of drama happening with the show, so much that it
- 56:43Speaker 2: actually stopped filming and we will be talking about that
- 56:46Speaker 2: in the next episode of Ranger Alliance, so be on
- 56:52Speaker 2: the lookout for that as well. Katie, what about you, y'all?
- 56:56Speaker 3: You can follow me on most SOPTA platforms. Is at
- 56:58Speaker 3: Place of Katie. I'm in the midst of a migraine
- 57:01Speaker 3: spiel at the moment. I've been having this migraine for
- 57:05Speaker 3: a week now, so I'm just not present on my
- 57:11Speaker 3: phone that much. But I do respond to Clay, so
- 57:13Speaker 3: if something is urgent, get to him and then I
- 57:15Speaker 3: will get back to you. But yeah, Slice of Katie
