- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:21Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day. If you'd become the
- 0:24Speaker 1: Hawkerel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys, Happy Wednesday,
- 0:28Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode. Hope you guys are having
- 0:31Speaker 1: a good week. So far, so random, but today I
- 0:35Speaker 1: actually had dairy for the first time in what feels
- 0:38Speaker 1: like years. To be honest, I've been really trying to
- 0:43Speaker 1: get oat milk out of my day to day lifestyle
- 0:47Speaker 1: because I use oat milk for all my coffees, and
- 0:49Speaker 1: I've been trying to incorporate dairy back into my routine.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I actually just recorded a little rant on TikTok just
- 0:55Speaker 1: about dairy and oat milk and all that, and like,
- 0:58Speaker 1: I don't know, I just hate that these non dairy
- 1:02Speaker 1: products were pushed out for so long, for so many years,
- 1:05Speaker 1: and we believed that it was okay to drink, and
- 1:08Speaker 1: we believed that, you know, it was actually better than dairy.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Like for some reason, people thought dairy was so bad
- 1:14Speaker 1: years ago, and now everyone's saying, yeah, cut that stuff
- 1:18Speaker 1: out and go back to dairy, Like dairy's actually better
- 1:21Speaker 1: for you. There's more nutrition value, there's more protein and
- 1:25Speaker 1: all in all those just like no added shit in it, essentially.
- 1:30Speaker 1: So I just went on this rant on TikTok just saying,
- 1:32Speaker 1: like how I followed a lot of these influencers back
- 1:34Speaker 1: in twenty seventeen who were just like pushing non dairy
- 1:37Speaker 1: so much and all these recipes, and I just was
- 1:39Speaker 1: young at the time and just assumed that like that
- 1:42Speaker 1: was healthier for you, And I didn't really know, right.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I wasn't you know, listening to a nutritionist or anything
- 1:49Speaker 1: like that. Like I was truly just following other influencers
- 1:51Speaker 1: that I followed. And I don't mean to just like
- 1:54Speaker 1: start the episode this way. I'm just like still on
- 1:56Speaker 1: the rant of this, but I just hate that people
- 2:00Speaker 1: are creating these products to sell thinking it's good for us,
- 2:03Speaker 1: and then it's actually not good for us, and then
- 2:06Speaker 1: we don't realize it and all this like bad stuff
- 2:10Speaker 1: comes out, and it's like, well, why were people convincing
- 2:12Speaker 1: us that this was a better alternative. It's just the
- 2:15Speaker 1: world is just such an interesting place, like even thinking
- 2:18Speaker 1: about you know, I don't know if you guys are
- 2:20Speaker 1: on that side of TikTok or Instagram where you know,
- 2:22Speaker 1: people are just talking about like things that give you cancer,
- 2:25Speaker 1: Like you know, your cookware, your cutting boards. At this
- 2:28Speaker 1: point in our life, literally anything or everything could cause cancer,
- 2:31Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Like, it's just there's so
- 2:33Speaker 1: much out there that is bad for you, and there's
- 2:36Speaker 1: so much out there that's so good for you. But
- 2:38Speaker 1: like there's only so much we can do to you know,
- 2:42Speaker 1: better ourselves, right, So it's just hard. I really wish
- 2:45Speaker 1: products aren't being sold to people who you know, could
- 2:48Speaker 1: get harm to it when it comes to like getting
- 2:50Speaker 1: sick or whatever the case be. Like I just really
- 2:53Speaker 1: wish there wasn't products out there like that. I really
- 2:55Speaker 1: wish we could all just like pray and manifest that
- 2:58Speaker 1: we live a long health life and that these things,
- 3:01Speaker 1: you know, shouldn't have to impact our health. Like I've
- 3:04Speaker 1: had so many comments already talking about how girls have
- 3:06Speaker 1: been going to a natural path, about this whole dairy
- 3:09Speaker 1: and non dairy situation, and how our bodies have just changed.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Our people are just having issues with consuming dairy and
- 3:16Speaker 1: have no choice but to go down the non dairy
- 3:17Speaker 1: route all that. So anyways, I just went on a
- 3:19Speaker 1: little rant because I just hate that we have to
- 3:23Speaker 1: go through this, and yeah, this just shouldn't have even
- 3:26Speaker 1: been a thing. But anyways, that's how we starting the
- 3:29Speaker 1: episode off as me ranting about frickin' milks. But anyways,
- 3:32Speaker 1: ignore my little brant. I just wanted to rant for
- 3:34Speaker 1: that for a second because it was something that I
- 3:38Speaker 1: was doing today. I was switching out my milks and
- 3:40Speaker 1: I was trying dairy out. Not gonna lie, I didn't
- 3:43Speaker 1: really love the milk with the coffee, but I mean
- 3:46Speaker 1: it's an adjustment. I think it didn't taste awful. I
- 3:49Speaker 1: think it's just I need to adjust my routine to
- 3:50Speaker 1: accommodate dairy. I really love the taste of oat milk,
- 3:54Speaker 1: so it's definitely gonna be hard because I have it
- 3:57Speaker 1: every single day with my coffee. But you know, eventually
- 4:00Speaker 1: we will figure it out. I'm hoping that right now
- 4:03Speaker 1: my stomach is okay to just like, yeah, digest it
- 4:07Speaker 1: and all that. That's my main concern is just making
- 4:09Speaker 1: sure that my body will get used to dairy eventually,
- 4:12Speaker 1: because right now it's still like on the fence of
- 4:14Speaker 1: consuming it. If you guys know what I mean. You
- 4:17Speaker 1: know what I mean. But I'm sure you guys can
- 4:19Speaker 1: relate if some of you are in that situation where
- 4:21Speaker 1: you switch to non dairy and now you're having a
- 4:23Speaker 1: hard time switching back to dairy's. So anyways, I'm actually
- 4:27Speaker 1: really excited about today's episode because I feel like this
- 4:30Speaker 1: is definitely a topic We've talked about a lot in
- 4:32Speaker 1: this podcast, but I've never been into detail about like
- 4:37Speaker 1: a step by step process of this. And it also
- 4:40Speaker 1: kind of just opens up my life in terms of
- 4:44Speaker 1: like where I see myself in the next five to
- 4:47Speaker 1: ten years, and there's a lot of things that I'm
- 4:49Speaker 1: gonna kind of expose myself with what I want to
- 4:52Speaker 1: do within these next five to ten years that I
- 4:55Speaker 1: don't think I've ever publicly opened up on my social
- 4:58Speaker 1: media about when it comes to you know, on TikTok
- 5:00Speaker 1: or on YouTube, Like I really try and stay real
- 5:03Speaker 1: with you guys, because I feel like the podcast Girlies
- 5:06Speaker 1: are just like my community, Like we're such a tight
- 5:09Speaker 1: community here and I feel so grateful to have you guys,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and I truly feel like I can be my open
- 5:14Speaker 1: and honest self on here. Not saying that I'm not
- 5:17Speaker 1: open and honest on YouTube and TikTok, but I just
- 5:19Speaker 1: feel like I'm a bit more chatty here obviously, as
- 5:21Speaker 1: you guys know, chatting my brains out here, but there's
- 5:24Speaker 1: just a connection that I feel like I've built with
- 5:26Speaker 1: you guys on the podcast, and I really want to
- 5:28Speaker 1: just be open and honest and help you guys out
- 5:31Speaker 1: with how to create a five to ten year plan.
- 5:34Speaker 1: So this episode's really going to be about, you know,
- 5:37Speaker 1: just rebranding yourself. How we can really envision our future together.
- 5:42Speaker 1: So of course we do our yearly vision boards and
- 5:45Speaker 1: all that, and that really does play a factor into
- 5:49Speaker 1: this episode, but we're not really going to talk about
- 5:51Speaker 1: the vision board at all because we've talked about that
- 5:52Speaker 1: a lot. This is more so how we're going to
- 5:55Speaker 1: create a five to ten year plan, Like, what do
- 5:57Speaker 1: you want your future to look like? Do you guys
- 6:00Speaker 1: have specific timelines on what you want to achieve before
- 6:05Speaker 1: thirty years old or before forty years old or whatever
- 6:07Speaker 1: it is, right, So I kind of want to share
- 6:10Speaker 1: how you're going to create this plan for yourself along
- 6:13Speaker 1: with kind of where my plan is at right now.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I'm going to share my five year plan, just because
- 6:19Speaker 1: I feel like that's most realistic for me. Since I
- 6:21Speaker 1: am turning thirty next year, I kind of just have
- 6:24Speaker 1: a five year plan. I think ten years is a
- 6:26Speaker 1: little too far away from me. I think the ten
- 6:28Speaker 1: year plan is definitely something that I'm still working on,
- 6:30Speaker 1: but the five year plan is very much set in
- 6:32Speaker 1: stone for me specifically. But if you're someone who's twenty
- 6:36Speaker 1: where it's like, I want to have my dream job
- 6:38Speaker 1: by twenty five, I want to have my dream car
- 6:41Speaker 1: by twenty eight, I want to be married by twenty nine,
- 6:44Speaker 1: Like you get the GISTs, I feel like at the
- 6:46Speaker 1: age of twenty or even eighteen or fifteen, however old
- 6:49Speaker 1: you are, I feel like a ten year plan is
- 6:50Speaker 1: definitely doable, just for me because I'm a little bit older,
- 6:55Speaker 1: I feel like a five year plan is more realistic
- 6:57Speaker 1: for me. So, of course, I got married last year,
- 7:00Speaker 1: and that was a huge goal for me in my twenties,
- 7:02Speaker 1: was to be able to, you know, get married to
- 7:05Speaker 1: the love of my life, which was a mission that
- 7:07Speaker 1: we completed. Got married last year and was very very
- 7:11Speaker 1: proud of that, and it was more than I could
- 7:13Speaker 1: ever imagine, Like it was not something I am visioned
- 7:16Speaker 1: my wedding day to look like. But it was even
- 7:18Speaker 1: better than what I am visioned, you know what I mean. Like,
- 7:20Speaker 1: I was so grateful that we were able to get
- 7:22Speaker 1: married abroad and you know, had that wedding in Italy.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I always knew I wanted to do a destination wedding,
- 7:28Speaker 1: but I never knew where, and I never knew how
- 7:31Speaker 1: it actually looked like. I wasn't able to visualize it.
- 7:33Speaker 1: When I think of myself when I was, you know,
- 7:35Speaker 1: twenty five years old, I think I probably visualized it
- 7:38Speaker 1: maybe somewhere on the beach in you know, Mexico or
- 7:41Speaker 1: something like that. But you know, obviously things change and
- 7:44Speaker 1: I ended up getting married in Italy, which ten times
- 7:46Speaker 1: better in my opinion. But you know, sometimes we have
- 7:49Speaker 1: a vision, but sometimes it doesn't always align, and things
- 7:52Speaker 1: obviously change, right, Like we adapt to change, and that's
- 7:54Speaker 1: what we have to be able to embrace. Is adapting
- 7:57Speaker 1: to change is good. And you know, obviously sometimes our
- 8:00Speaker 1: visions change after years of years of you know, things evolving,
- 8:05Speaker 1: and obviously, like trends are different and all that, right,
- 8:08Speaker 1: so you kind of always just have to be able
- 8:10Speaker 1: to adapt. But that was one goal of mine in
- 8:13Speaker 1: my twenties. So I would say my ten year plan
- 8:15Speaker 1: in my twenties was to really find my dream job,
- 8:19Speaker 1: get married to the love of my life, and buy
- 8:21Speaker 1: a house, and those were the three things that I
- 8:23Speaker 1: did accomplish, along with buying my dream car. So I
- 8:26Speaker 1: would say that was very much within my ten year
- 8:28Speaker 1: plan of like having these goals for myself. Of course, again,
- 8:31Speaker 1: if it happens earlier, great, If it's happens later, that's okay.
- 8:34Speaker 1: We always adjust, right, We always look at the plan
- 8:37Speaker 1: and figure out ways on how we're going to adjust
- 8:39Speaker 1: it in order to make it achievable. So that was
- 8:41Speaker 1: kind of my ten year plan. Now going into my thirties,
- 8:45Speaker 1: which will be next year, I've created a five year
- 8:48Speaker 1: plan for myself and three things that I would like
- 8:52Speaker 1: to achieve before thirty five. Is one being something that
- 8:57Speaker 1: Zach and I are actually trying to execute now. This
- 8:59Speaker 1: is actually something that I've kept from everyone, well not
- 9:03Speaker 1: everyone like my friends and family obviously no immediate friends
- 9:05Speaker 1: and family. And it's not like too big of a deal.
- 9:08Speaker 1: It's obviously very exciting, but it's definitely been a very
- 9:12Speaker 1: stressful process, and I think that's kind of why I
- 9:16Speaker 1: feel like I've I don't know, I mean, obviously I've
- 9:19Speaker 1: been posting a lot and all that. I'm just kind
- 9:21Speaker 1: of going in a personal situation right here, but I've
- 9:23Speaker 1: been getting really anxious and really stress lately, and I
- 9:26Speaker 1: feel like it's been impacting me personally when I try
- 9:29Speaker 1: to like put myself on camera. I've been having a
- 9:32Speaker 1: hard time kind of like focusing because I've been so
- 9:35Speaker 1: focused on getting this goal that i want to achieve
- 9:39Speaker 1: for Zach and I, and that's buying another house, which
- 9:43Speaker 1: is very exciting, Like I'm very very excited. Obviously we
- 9:47Speaker 1: don't have anything purchase yet, but this is what our
- 9:50Speaker 1: goal is for like the next year or two is
- 9:53Speaker 1: to buy our dream house. And it's stressful. It's definitely
- 9:58Speaker 1: not an easy process. I think buying this house here
- 10:02Speaker 1: was a much easier process because not like we didn't
- 10:05Speaker 1: really care, but when we bought it, it was during COVID,
- 10:08Speaker 1: you know, it was a really you know, fast market,
- 10:11Speaker 1: like things were selling really quick. So for us, like
- 10:12Speaker 1: we didn't really care what the house looked like. We
- 10:15Speaker 1: just cared about the price, and we're like, hey, let's
- 10:16Speaker 1: buy it. We'll design it the way we want to
- 10:18Speaker 1: design it whatever, didn't really care about where we were,
- 10:22Speaker 1: the floor plans, all that. So this time around, I'm
- 10:25Speaker 1: a little bit more focused on what the actual house
- 10:27Speaker 1: looks like and the floor plans and all that. So
- 10:29Speaker 1: there's a lot more research going into this, and obviously
- 10:34Speaker 1: it is a lot more money because we're upgrading to
- 10:36Speaker 1: a bigger house. So it's our family house. Like this
- 10:39Speaker 1: has always been a goal of mine, is to have
- 10:41Speaker 1: my dream family home that I'm going to raise my
- 10:44Speaker 1: kids in. And it's been a very stressful journey and
- 10:49Speaker 1: you know, it's not something that you can just do
- 10:51Speaker 1: within a few weeks and it's done. Like this is
- 10:53Speaker 1: something that Zach and I have been doing for the
- 10:55Speaker 1: past few months. Is we've been searching, and you know,
- 10:57Speaker 1: we have a real estate agent with us. I've been
- 10:59Speaker 1: document everything, and yeah, it feels really good to get
- 11:04Speaker 1: off my chest right now to tell you guys that,
- 11:06Speaker 1: But let's keep it a secret between you and I,
- 11:08Speaker 1: because I don't want to tell anyone else, to be honest,
- 11:11Speaker 1: I'm just kind of like keeping it low key because
- 11:13Speaker 1: obviously we don't have a property that we've been bought
- 11:15Speaker 1: yet right now. We're just in the process of looking
- 11:18Speaker 1: and all that. But I've purposely decided to not post
- 11:21Speaker 1: anything until we've purchased the house, just because I'd like
- 11:25Speaker 1: to keep that part of my life quiet for now.
- 11:28Speaker 1: And when we hopefully do find a property, then we'll start,
- 11:32Speaker 1: you know, talking about the journey and all that. But
- 11:36Speaker 1: that's one big goal within my five year plan. Another
- 11:39Speaker 1: big goal is to obviously have children. We and Zach
- 11:43Speaker 1: obviously want kids right now. I want two kids, but
- 11:46Speaker 1: we shall see how the first kid goes, right, Like,
- 11:48Speaker 1: I hear obviously stories about pregnancy and birth and all that,
- 11:52Speaker 1: and I just pray that, you know, I'm able to
- 11:54Speaker 1: have that experience and have, you know, a beautiful child,
- 11:58Speaker 1: and I pray for two children, but if I get one,
- 12:01Speaker 1: I'll be happy. And that is just a goal of ours.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Is that we want to start a family. We want
- 12:06Speaker 1: to raise a family. We want to be able to
- 12:09Speaker 1: have either a little boy or a little girl in
- 12:11Speaker 1: our life that we were able to raise and pray
- 12:15Speaker 1: that we can give them the best life possible. So
- 12:17Speaker 1: those are like two big goals within my five year plan.
- 12:20Speaker 1: And guys, five years goes by quick, Okay, She's not
- 12:24Speaker 1: a slow process. She goes by so fast. So this
- 12:28Speaker 1: is why I'm like it's good to create these plans
- 12:30Speaker 1: because it really allows you to kind of like align
- 12:33Speaker 1: to your vision and align to like what you actually
- 12:36Speaker 1: see yourself doing. And another big goal of mine within
- 12:39Speaker 1: my five year plan is to start my business, which
- 12:41Speaker 1: I've definitely been really open and honest with you guys,
- 12:44Speaker 1: and I'm really trying to understand that it is a process.
- 12:48Speaker 1: It's not something that you just do overnight or within
- 12:51Speaker 1: a few weeks or a few months. It's definitely something
- 12:53Speaker 1: that could take a year, two years, Like when you're
- 12:57Speaker 1: trying different types of you know, manufacturers products, it's something
- 13:01Speaker 1: that you want to perfect and you don't want to
- 13:03Speaker 1: have any issues, you know, for customers when you're just
- 13:06Speaker 1: trying to like speed up the process and just like
- 13:08Speaker 1: get the product out, you know what I mean. So
- 13:11Speaker 1: I'm really trying to like understand the whole business side
- 13:13Speaker 1: of that and just kind of like know that it
- 13:15Speaker 1: takes time. So those would be my three biggest goals
- 13:17Speaker 1: for my five year plans. So it's pretty realistic, I
- 13:21Speaker 1: think for me, I think that's very achievable. And I
- 13:25Speaker 1: kind of want to talk about how I created this
- 13:27Speaker 1: five year plan for myself. And why I'm going into
- 13:29Speaker 1: depth about this because I do think it's really helpful
- 13:31Speaker 1: for people like you who want to create a five
- 13:34Speaker 1: to ten year plan for yourself that may have a
- 13:36Speaker 1: goal like this where they want to get that dream car,
- 13:39Speaker 1: or they want to get that dream job, or they
- 13:41Speaker 1: want to get, you know, that dream trip that they
- 13:44Speaker 1: always thought about. You guys want to travel the world
- 13:45Speaker 1: maybe and go to different parts of Europe. Like, you
- 13:47Speaker 1: need to have a plan in order to execute those
- 13:50Speaker 1: dreams for yourself. So I think the first one is
- 13:53Speaker 1: really visualizing it. So visualize how you want your life
- 13:57Speaker 1: to look. Is there a specific way that you picture
- 13:59Speaker 1: yourself doing this life? So you know, we obviously create
- 14:02Speaker 1: these vision boards of what our goals are for the year,
- 14:05Speaker 1: but when we think about a five to ten year plan,
- 14:07Speaker 1: you really need to visualize what you actually see in
- 14:10Speaker 1: your life. Like what do you actually see for yourself?
- 14:13Speaker 1: Do you see, you know, a future of you living
- 14:16Speaker 1: abroad somewhere. Do you see you traveling for like three
- 14:19Speaker 1: months after you're done university. Do you see yourself buying
- 14:23Speaker 1: your dream car or having your dream job by a
- 14:26Speaker 1: specific age? Do you see yourself having a really big
- 14:29Speaker 1: wedding that you really want to save for and have,
- 14:31Speaker 1: like the perfect wedding of your dreams. These are things
- 14:34Speaker 1: that you have to think about. Of course, we all
- 14:36Speaker 1: think about these things and these goals, and you know,
- 14:39Speaker 1: we all want this for ourselves, but we all need
- 14:41Speaker 1: to figure out how we're actually going to achieve it.
- 14:43Speaker 1: So I think the first step is really visualizing it,
- 14:45Speaker 1: writing things down, writing out Okay, these are all the
- 14:47Speaker 1: goals I want to achieve for myself, and this is
- 14:49Speaker 1: everything that I want to complete within the next five
- 14:51Speaker 1: to ten years. This also doesn't just have to be
- 14:54Speaker 1: about physical goals in terms of like you know, dream job,
- 14:58Speaker 1: dream house, moving away, whatever the case I be. This
- 15:01Speaker 1: could also be things about becoming a healthier version of yourself,
- 15:04Speaker 1: or working out more, or just becoming more confident in yourself,
- 15:08Speaker 1: or just working on your overall self being. Like, there's
- 15:11Speaker 1: so many other goals that you can think of that
- 15:13Speaker 1: you really want to improve on. I know, for myself,
- 15:15Speaker 1: I definitely want to improve just on my overall confidence
- 15:19Speaker 1: in myself. I feel like, you know, I try to
- 15:21Speaker 1: be as confident as I can on social media, but like,
- 15:24Speaker 1: obviously I do have my days where I don't feel
- 15:26Speaker 1: confident in myself and I do have, you know, my
- 15:31Speaker 1: I want to say my own flaws in a way
- 15:32Speaker 1: that I don't love about myself, but I want to
- 15:35Speaker 1: be able to embrace those flaws more, meaning like I
- 15:37Speaker 1: should feel beautiful no matter what. I shouldn't have to,
- 15:40Speaker 1: you know, be disappointed in myself when nobody's perfect, and
- 15:44Speaker 1: I think that's just the reality, but just being better
- 15:47Speaker 1: at being more confident within myself and like being more
- 15:50Speaker 1: grateful for the life that I do have and you know,
- 15:53Speaker 1: the body that I was given and all that. So
- 15:56Speaker 1: the next step would be, after writing out everything that
- 15:59Speaker 1: you envision for yourself for your five to ten year plan,
- 16:02Speaker 1: is how we're going to execute these things. So, for
- 16:04Speaker 1: an example, if you want to have your dream career
- 16:08Speaker 1: within the next five years, okay, how are we going
- 16:10Speaker 1: to execute that. We're going to find time of spending
- 16:13Speaker 1: time doing research of different types of jobs, applying for
- 16:16Speaker 1: different jobs. I feel like this is very much Madison's
- 16:19Speaker 1: life right now, and I think that's like the best
- 16:21Speaker 1: example I could give is that she feels very lost.
- 16:24Speaker 1: She doesn't really know what direction she wants to go down.
- 16:26Speaker 1: She just finished school, you know, she has somewhat of
- 16:29Speaker 1: an idea the route she wants to go down, but
- 16:32Speaker 1: there's so many different types of jobs that she could
- 16:34Speaker 1: do with her masters that she has, so she's like
- 16:38Speaker 1: in that phase where she's just trying to apply to
- 16:40Speaker 1: different things, research different things, kind of just figure out
- 16:43Speaker 1: what she wants and doing this allows her to get
- 16:47Speaker 1: one step closer to that dream job that she actually
- 16:49Speaker 1: is going to get, And she also needs to have
- 16:51Speaker 1: that mindset. This is what I keep telling her because
- 16:53Speaker 1: obviously she's been going through it a little bit in
- 16:57Speaker 1: terms of like why haven't I found anything yet, Like,
- 16:59Speaker 1: you know, it's taking a little bit longer than I anticipated.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I really wanted to get my you know, my dream
- 17:04Speaker 1: job by you know, the beginning of the summer and
- 17:06Speaker 1: not the end of the summer all that. But I
- 17:08Speaker 1: keep telling her that these jobs that you're applying for,
- 17:11Speaker 1: if you're not getting it, there's a reason, and it
- 17:14Speaker 1: just means that it's not meant to be. And I
- 17:16Speaker 1: keep telling her that we really have to go in
- 17:18Speaker 1: with that mindset of what's meant to be will be,
- 17:21Speaker 1: because I truly believe that everyone needs to follow that motto.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I'm going to be fully transparent. Zach and I almost
- 17:26Speaker 1: actually bought a house and it ended up selling, and
- 17:30Speaker 1: I was really really disappointed, like really really sad. But
- 17:34Speaker 1: then in my head, I knew that it wasn't meant
- 17:36Speaker 1: to be. Like I'm like, if it was sold to
- 17:39Speaker 1: someone else, it was meant to be for them, It
- 17:40Speaker 1: wasn't meant to be for us. It wasn't because we
- 17:43Speaker 1: didn't react fast enough or anything like that. It just
- 17:45Speaker 1: truly wasn't the right house. So for me, that's kind
- 17:47Speaker 1: of how I've gone into my current situation is just
- 17:51Speaker 1: knowing that the right thing will come at the right time.
- 17:55Speaker 1: And I think that's a mindset that everyone needs to
- 17:57Speaker 1: kind of put in their head when it comes to,
- 17:59Speaker 1: you know, thinking of these big goals that they're trying
- 18:01Speaker 1: to apply for or achieve or whatever. Like as I said,
- 18:04Speaker 1: dream career, buying a house, you know, maybe booking that
- 18:08Speaker 1: wedding venue that you want. You didn't get it on
- 18:10Speaker 1: the date that you want, Okay, well maybe that's not
- 18:12Speaker 1: the place. Then maybe it's a different date, maybe it's
- 18:13Speaker 1: a different venue. Like just kind of go in with
- 18:16Speaker 1: that mindset. Another one could be, you know, getting your
- 18:19Speaker 1: dream car or your dream house or moving away. In
- 18:21Speaker 1: order to get these things, you do need to work hard,
- 18:24Speaker 1: and you do need to know how to save money.
- 18:26Speaker 1: So really learning how to you know, save the money
- 18:29Speaker 1: into your savings account, maybe pick up extra shifts, or
- 18:32Speaker 1: figure out how can you get a second job. Maybe
- 18:34Speaker 1: it's getting a job at a workout studio so you
- 18:37Speaker 1: could like, you know, teach workout classes at night, make
- 18:39Speaker 1: that extra money start putting it in a savings account.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Or maybe it's just working at you know, a retail
- 18:44Speaker 1: shop again, just gaining some extra money, or starting a
- 18:47Speaker 1: side business yourself, being self employed again, getting that extra
- 18:51Speaker 1: money putting it into a savings account. So that's what
- 18:54Speaker 1: you kind of have to do is you kind of
- 18:55Speaker 1: have to see these goals and figure out, okay, well,
- 18:58Speaker 1: in order to achieve this goal, how am I going
- 19:00Speaker 1: to achieve it? Writing these big goals out and finding
- 19:02Speaker 1: ways to achieve each one. So essentially what you're doing
- 19:05Speaker 1: is you're breaking it down, which is the next step.
- 19:07Speaker 1: So you're breaking it down each goal and kind of
- 19:11Speaker 1: plan out, Okay, is it going to be this month,
- 19:13Speaker 1: is it going to be this year, is it going
- 19:15Speaker 1: to be next year? Like kind of figure out the
- 19:17Speaker 1: timeline of how you want things to go, and it
- 19:20Speaker 1: could be anything, as I said, so kind of just
- 19:22Speaker 1: figuring out the timeline of how you want to break
- 19:25Speaker 1: these goals down and how you want it to work
- 19:28Speaker 1: out within your five to ten year plan. It's important
- 19:30Speaker 1: when you make these goals to be very specific and
- 19:34Speaker 1: as accurate as possible, meaning like you're able to give
- 19:37Speaker 1: as much detail as you can. That way, when you
- 19:41Speaker 1: know you look back at it from a year, you're
- 19:43Speaker 1: not confused as to what your goal was, you know
- 19:45Speaker 1: what I mean, Like, you're able to know exactly what
- 19:47Speaker 1: you wrote down and what your vision was for those
- 19:51Speaker 1: steps and those goals that you wanted to achieve within
- 19:53Speaker 1: the next few years. So make sure you provide as
- 19:56Speaker 1: much detail and specification as possible. That way, it's easier
- 20:00Speaker 1: for you to understand how you're going to actually physically
- 20:03Speaker 1: achieve these things. Now, this is where it comes to
- 20:05Speaker 1: the rebranding side. In terms of how you're rebranding yourself,
- 20:09Speaker 1: it's important to create a list of traits that allows
- 20:12Speaker 1: you to embody to live this life. So we talked
- 20:15Speaker 1: about you know, the persona that you see for yourself
- 20:18Speaker 1: and like how you want to become this vision that
- 20:21Speaker 1: you've always wanted for yourself. So in order to have
- 20:24Speaker 1: your dream career or your dream house, you need to
- 20:27Speaker 1: be dedicated or motivated or driven or hardworking, like you
- 20:31Speaker 1: need to have those you know, traits in that mindset
- 20:34Speaker 1: in order to be able to achieve these things for yourself.
- 20:37Speaker 1: So now it goes into embodying it. So how are
- 20:40Speaker 1: we going to embody that motivated and driven self that
- 20:44Speaker 1: you want to be? How are you going to be
- 20:46Speaker 1: that motivated individual? It kind of goes hand in hand
- 20:49Speaker 1: with what is your why? And I think having a
- 20:51Speaker 1: why is so important. I think, for an example for
- 20:54Speaker 1: myself when I think about, oh, why do you do
- 20:56Speaker 1: what you do? Like why do you do this job?
- 20:58Speaker 1: Like what's the benefit to you? Well, my why is
- 21:02Speaker 1: that I'm motivating women all over the world and inspiring
- 21:06Speaker 1: women to become their best selves, their healthiest self. Or
- 21:10Speaker 1: you guys might see me as like, you know, a
- 21:13Speaker 1: inspirational person when it comes to my career, Like maybe
- 21:15Speaker 1: you're very similar like me, where you want to become
- 21:18Speaker 1: an influencer and you want to you know, have your
- 21:20Speaker 1: own career and be self employed and be able to
- 21:24Speaker 1: essentially like create your own business in a way. Right,
- 21:27Speaker 1: So I do what I do because I love that
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm able to inspire and motivate you guys to become
- 21:32Speaker 1: the best version of yourself. I'm also motivated because I
- 21:35Speaker 1: do make a very steady living with this job, and
- 21:37Speaker 1: I think obviously like having good income definitely reflects how
- 21:42Speaker 1: you want to see a vision for yourself. Right. So
- 21:45Speaker 1: you know, if you want to be a doctor, and
- 21:47Speaker 1: you know that, of course, being a doctor is saving
- 21:49Speaker 1: people's lives and like that is such a big reward, right,
- 21:53Speaker 1: But you also make really good money as a doctor
- 21:56Speaker 1: as well, right, So, and that probably motivates them to
- 21:59Speaker 1: become a doctor because they know that, hey, not only
- 22:01Speaker 1: am I saving someone's life, but I'm also getting a
- 22:04Speaker 1: very steady living out of it, which makes me happy,
- 22:06Speaker 1: and that's what I want for myself. So again not
- 22:10Speaker 1: comparing myself to a doctor at all, but I'm just
- 22:11Speaker 1: trying to explain, Like the why is always two big things,
- 22:14Speaker 1: I think, and that is who are you benefiting? And
- 22:17Speaker 1: if you are benefiting someone, that's the main priority. And
- 22:21Speaker 1: then if you're able to make a steady living out
- 22:23Speaker 1: of it and being able to like live the life
- 22:25Speaker 1: that you wanted to live for yourself. Because you're earning
- 22:27Speaker 1: the money that you've always dreamed for yourself. Then that's
- 22:30Speaker 1: the best combo right there, Right, that is the why.
- 22:33Speaker 1: So you always have to ask yourself the why when
- 22:35Speaker 1: it comes to these things. Okay, Another example is if
- 22:38Speaker 1: you're wanting to travel the world, and what is your why?
- 22:42Speaker 1: Your why is because I want to be able to
- 22:44Speaker 1: see all parts of the world because seeing it on
- 22:47Speaker 1: you know, a TV screen is not enough. Like I
- 22:49Speaker 1: want to be able to fully be there and be
- 22:51Speaker 1: present and be able to say to my future family
- 22:53Speaker 1: and my future friends that I was able to visit
- 22:56Speaker 1: all these different parts of the world and I was
- 22:58Speaker 1: so lucky that I was financially capable to do those things.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Because everybody dreams of visiting all these different places within
- 23:05Speaker 1: the world. Right So your why is is that you
- 23:08Speaker 1: want to be able to say that you did these
- 23:10Speaker 1: things because you're proud of it, and you want to
- 23:13Speaker 1: be able to say that you visited all these different
- 23:14Speaker 1: places in the world. Same thing with why do I
- 23:16Speaker 1: work out every single day? I work out every single
- 23:19Speaker 1: day because it makes me feel good. I feel like
- 23:21Speaker 1: I'm showing up for myself. I'm doing myself a favor.
- 23:24Speaker 1: It's a great healthy it's great for your health. Like,
- 23:27Speaker 1: there's so many benefits. Obviously is to working out every
- 23:29Speaker 1: single day, But there's so many different whys that you
- 23:33Speaker 1: can think of, And I think you always need to
- 23:34Speaker 1: remember your why when it comes to any goal that
- 23:37Speaker 1: you want to achieve. So once you have these goals
- 23:39Speaker 1: and you figure out how you're going to achieve it
- 23:41Speaker 1: and what are the whys as to why you want
- 23:43Speaker 1: to achieve these things, you actually need to stick with
- 23:46Speaker 1: it and never give up. Know that you know if
- 23:48Speaker 1: things do get delayed or if there is obstacles where
- 23:51Speaker 1: you know, it creates a challenge for you to create
- 23:54Speaker 1: these things, figure out a new system, always make sure
- 23:57Speaker 1: that you're always able to stick with it because it's
- 23:59Speaker 1: important or to never give up. And you have to
- 24:01Speaker 1: understand that anything that you believe that you can do,
- 24:04Speaker 1: you can one hundred percent do. If you believe that
- 24:06Speaker 1: you can become a content creator, fricking keep posting and
- 24:09Speaker 1: never stop because that day will come where you do
- 24:13Speaker 1: become a content creator. And you need to have that
- 24:15Speaker 1: mindset of never giving up because that's when good things
- 24:18Speaker 1: will come to you. If you have that good energy,
- 24:20Speaker 1: good energy will come back to you. That's what me
- 24:22Speaker 1: and my sister always say when good things come, better
- 24:25Speaker 1: things are coming, like, get that negative energy away from you.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Just focus on the good, because the good will come back.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I think this point here is just a non negotiable
- 24:33Speaker 1: in anything in life, because if you're not motivated and
- 24:35Speaker 1: you're not driven enough, it's not going to happen. So
- 24:38Speaker 1: you need to have that mindset constantly of just never
- 24:41Speaker 1: giving up on anything and know that anything is possible
- 24:44Speaker 1: if you set your mind to it. I feel like
- 24:46Speaker 1: a motivational speaker when I do these episodes, but I'm
- 24:48Speaker 1: definitely not a motivational speaker at all. But I am
- 24:51Speaker 1: just very passionate about goal setting and all that because
- 24:54Speaker 1: I just think it truly is a game changer. It's
- 24:56Speaker 1: all about creating that mindset, and I just I push
- 25:00Speaker 1: that so much because it truly is the reality. I
- 25:02Speaker 1: obviously think achieving goals is the most rewarding thing ever,
- 25:05Speaker 1: and I want you guys to be able to achieve
- 25:07Speaker 1: that dream life that you've always wanted. And that's why
- 25:10Speaker 1: I'm here and that's why I provide these episodes like
- 25:12Speaker 1: this to really allow you, guys, to envision that dream
- 25:16Speaker 1: life for yourself. The last step is all about reflection,
- 25:19Speaker 1: So reflecting on what you did during this journey to
- 25:23Speaker 1: get to where you are, and just ask yourself, did
- 25:26Speaker 1: I complete all the goals that I wanted to achieve?
- 25:28Speaker 1: Where I am now? Is that where I wanted to be?
- 25:30Speaker 1: You know, five years ago who I envision myself to be?
- 25:33Speaker 1: Am I on the right track of how I wanted
- 25:35Speaker 1: to see myself. Make sure you really just reflect on
- 25:39Speaker 1: the journey throughout as well, because again, there's always going
- 25:43Speaker 1: to be changes sometimes and you need to be open
- 25:45Speaker 1: to the change and understand that there's obviously a road
- 25:50Speaker 1: that you're taking that is taking you on the right path,
- 25:53Speaker 1: and there's obviously going to be hiccups, but know that
- 25:57Speaker 1: there's a reason for that. As I said, change may happen,
- 26:00Speaker 1: and that's okay. You need to be open to change
- 26:02Speaker 1: because of course, you know, we all have this plan
- 26:06Speaker 1: of you know, achieving these things, but sometimes things might
- 26:09Speaker 1: take a wrong turn or might not just be where
- 26:12Speaker 1: you thought it was going to be, and that's okay.
- 26:14Speaker 1: And whatever you know comes along the way, it's only
- 26:17Speaker 1: bringing you closer where you need to be so you know,
- 26:20Speaker 1: if you didn't get that dream job that you thought
- 26:21Speaker 1: you wanted, maybe it's because there's something better around the corner,
- 26:24Speaker 1: and that you know it will always end up working
- 26:27Speaker 1: out for you regardless, and that's something better is coming.
- 26:29Speaker 1: So always just make sure to have that positive mindset
- 26:32Speaker 1: and know that you know everything happens for a reason
- 26:36Speaker 1: and that the best is yet to come. I hope
- 26:39Speaker 1: you guys enjoyed this episode. I felt like it was
- 26:41Speaker 1: very much a motivational episode, and I think it's just
- 26:43Speaker 1: because I really wanted to kind of just touch on
- 26:45Speaker 1: my five year plan and how I see my life
- 26:48Speaker 1: looking and that it's important for you guys to kind
- 26:51Speaker 1: of have that goal for yourself of like what do
- 26:54Speaker 1: I see myself doing in the next five to ten years,
- 26:56Speaker 1: Because as I said, I'm here to inspire you guys
- 26:59Speaker 1: to truly live your best and happiest self. And I
- 27:03Speaker 1: always try and be real here with you guys, and
- 27:05Speaker 1: that no matter what I do, think we can all
- 27:08Speaker 1: achieve the things that we wanted to achieve for ourself,
- 27:10Speaker 1: and that there is always goals that can be achieved
- 27:13Speaker 1: and things can always happen if you set the right
- 27:16Speaker 1: mindset for yourself. So I just really wanted to kind
- 27:18Speaker 1: of just touch on that in this episode because I
- 27:20Speaker 1: feel like, you know, we're already halfway through this year,
- 27:23Speaker 1: which is so crazy, and you know, maybe you do
- 27:26Speaker 1: want to create a vision board and you haven't even
- 27:28Speaker 1: done so yet. So you know, there's goals that you
- 27:30Speaker 1: can achieve before the end of the year, and if
- 27:31Speaker 1: you set your mind to it, good things can happen.
- 27:33Speaker 1: But it's also important to not just think about this year,
- 27:36Speaker 1: but to think about your future self and how you
- 27:39Speaker 1: see your future and how you really want to create
- 27:42Speaker 1: that five to ten year plan for yourself. But I
- 27:44Speaker 1: hope you guys enjoyed this episode. If you guys are new,
