- Lucas: Welcome back to Learn Dutch with Fexingo. I'm Lucas. Luna: And I'm Luna. Episode 109! Lucas, I've been thinking about something. Lucas: Oh yeah? What's on your mind? Luna: Well, I want to get a bike. In the Netherlands, everyone bikes, right? But I don't know how to ask for one in Dutch. Lucas: That's a great idea. Today we'll learn some phrases for buying a bike at a bike shop. Ready? Luna: Yes! Let's start. Lucas: First phrase: Ik zoek een fiets. That means 'I am looking for a bike.' Say it with me: Ik zoek een fiets. Luna: Ik zoek een fiets. Lucas: Perfect. Now, when you see a bike you like, you can ask: Hoeveel kost deze fiets? — 'How much does this bike cost?' Let's try: Hoeveel kost deze fiets? Luna: Hoeveel kost deze fiets? Lucas: Exactly. And if you want a specific type, like a city bike, you can ask: Heeft u een stadsfiets? — 'Do you have a city bike?' Repeat: Heeft u een stadsfiets? Luna: Heeft u een stadsfiets? Lucas: Good. Now, before you buy, you might want to test it. So you can say: Mag ik een proefrit maken? — 'May I take a test ride?' Say it: Mag ik een proefrit maken? Luna: Mag ik een proefrit maken? Lucas: And finally, when you decide, you say: Ik neem deze fiets. — 'I'll take this bike.' Say it: Ik neem deze fiets.
