- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to us.
- 0:04Speaker 2: On air with a Ryan Seacrest, but.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Two point seven kiss FM.
- 0:11Speaker 1: So Michael in the back room was invited to a
- 0:14Speaker 1: wedding a few days ago, and you were invited but
- 0:17Speaker 1: without a plus one.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Yeah, which this one was fine because a lot of
- 0:20Speaker 4: single friends were there. But I have three coming up,
- 0:23Speaker 4: and the group of friends that are going into these
- 0:26Speaker 4: weddings all have plus ones because they're in relationships.
- 0:29Speaker 5: So I feel awkward when I go and I have
- 0:32Speaker 5: no one else, no one else.
- 0:33Speaker 4: To share a hotel, no chance with maybe a guy
- 0:36Speaker 4: friend or just I don't know another friend where I'm
- 0:38Speaker 4: not like alone, like sitting by myself, like at certain
- 0:41Speaker 4: parts of the night.
- 0:42Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 0:42Speaker 1: A lot of times when people are getting married, they
- 0:45Speaker 1: sort of a rule if you haven't been with the
- 0:47Speaker 1: person for three months or something like that, then we're
- 0:50Speaker 1: not really invited, right. They don't want strangers at their wedding.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I mean, Tanya, I didn't want me to bring anybody.
- 0:58Speaker 6: No, I had a hard We had no plus ones.
- 1:01Speaker 6: If you were the only people I gave plus ones.
- 1:03Speaker 6: Two were like people that were in the wedding, So
- 1:06Speaker 6: like two of my best friends that are single.
- 1:08Speaker 7: I said, if they wanted to bring somebody.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Ryan, you give me a deadline to have to, like
- 1:14Speaker 1: tell you if somebody was filling.
- 1:16Speaker 7: Everybody gives a deadline for their wedding.
- 1:19Speaker 1: But she didn't really want me to bring somebody. I
- 1:20Speaker 1: could tell by the deadline everybody.
- 1:23Speaker 2: That's why they didn't bring anybody. Yeah.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Well, I think that.
- 1:28Speaker 1: It's up to the bride and the groom because if
- 1:31Speaker 1: they don't want somebody, they don't know what their wedding.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I kind of get that, Sysney Mikayla.
- 1:36Speaker 5: I mean I get that too.
- 1:38Speaker 4: I mean, instead a wedding that like I don't know
- 1:42Speaker 4: a lot of people I only know like that that
- 1:44Speaker 4: don't go well, I guess that's an option too.
- 1:46Speaker 2: But that is that's true.
- 1:49Speaker 1: That's a great option. Don't let them take up your
- 1:52Speaker 1: weekend looking for somebody. Yeah, I find somebody.
- 1:57Speaker 5: I never thought of that. But I also love the brides,
- 2:00Speaker 5: so I feel like I need.
- 2:01Speaker 1: To, oh, you know, not so much if she want
- 2:03Speaker 1: to let you bring a friend.
- 2:05Speaker 5: Not true.
- 2:05Speaker 2: It's not about her not letting her bring a friend.
- 2:08Speaker 2: It's just that you have these rules that you just
- 2:11Speaker 2: maxed out with the guest list.
- 2:12Speaker 1: There's a cutoff point too, but don't take it personally.
- 2:16Speaker 1: But you can also very easily, and I can give
- 2:19Speaker 1: you exactly what to say.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I know how to blow off weddings really easily.
- 2:24Speaker 1: You can tell me as tany you said tell people
- 2:26Speaker 1: for years she had to work for me on America's
- 2:28Speaker 1: at forty one weekends, which.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Was never true. She never had to work there true.
- 2:32Speaker 7: But I just get out of weddings that way.
- 2:34Speaker 6: I got out of spending the night with men that
- 2:36Speaker 6: I didn't want to spend the night with.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Well, you don't need me as an excuse to not
- 2:41Speaker 3: spend the night with a guy.
- 2:41Speaker 7: It was an amazing excuse, MICHAELA.
- 2:45Speaker 1: You can always and if they I can leave you
- 2:47Speaker 1: a voice mail or something that says, hey, you got
- 2:49Speaker 1: to see it.
- 2:50Speaker 8: See it.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Mind that.
- 2:53Speaker 1: We moved up to countdown at eight forty tomorrow Sunday morning. Yeah, Michaela,
- 2:58Speaker 1: you're always going through it.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Did you anything go on with this guy on Raya?
- 3:02Speaker 9: No?
- 3:02Speaker 4: Ever since I asked that, it's been like slow, like
- 3:06Speaker 4: having gotten like the messages back kind of fizzled out,
- 3:08Speaker 4: So I think, oh, I don't know.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Ever since you asked if he was in a relationship
- 3:13Speaker 1: because your friend told you that he's guilty.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Yeah, guilty, unless he just doesn't like that, I like,
- 3:18Speaker 4: kind of snooped.
- 3:19Speaker 5: I guess I don't know.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Yeah, well, not the one.
- 3:23Speaker 3: He's not the one.
- 3:23Speaker 1: There's plenty of Garretts and Billies and Tommy's on Rio.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Who will you end up with? Will it be a Trevor?
- 3:31Speaker 3: Maybe it's a Trevor, Oh, I love it?
- 3:33Speaker 2: And Andrew.
- 3:35Speaker 7: Or what Robert?
- 3:37Speaker 3: No?
- 3:37Speaker 2: Maybe Michael?
- 3:38Speaker 7: What about Wyatt?
- 3:40Speaker 3: It will not be a Wyatt.
- 3:42Speaker 7: Xander.
- 3:43Speaker 3: It's never a Xander.
- 3:44Speaker 2: No, never, Xander.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Might be a Gabe, Johnie Xavier Jack. Well, well, she'll
- 3:50Speaker 1: tell us when you find somebody in Raya.
- 3:52Speaker 5: Maybe I'll find someone at the wedding.
- 3:53Speaker 3: You do it. It's them.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Listen to us on iHeart Radio, listen on the car radio.
- 3:58Speaker 1: However you want us, this is us. You can get
- 4:02Speaker 1: us now. I need everybody to lean in on this.
- 4:05Speaker 1: When Christian calling with an issue, Sisney Tany in Long Beach, Christian,
- 4:09Speaker 1: good morning.
- 4:11Speaker 10: Hey, good morning. How's it going.
- 4:13Speaker 3: It's going all right here? How can we help you?
- 4:15Speaker 3: What's up?
- 4:16Speaker 10: All right?
- 4:17Speaker 11: So?
- 4:17Speaker 10: I need a little advice. Basically, my boyfriend is has
- 4:23Speaker 10: been living with me, crashing with me for a few months,
- 4:25Speaker 10: and he doesn't pay rent, which, hey, that's fine for me.
- 4:29Speaker 10: I'm paying it all. I don't really, I'm not really complaining,
- 4:32Speaker 10: but just recently, my sister needs a place to stay.
- 4:36Speaker 10: We have the space, and I'm like, it's my sister,
- 4:40Speaker 10: of course, you can live with us for as long
- 4:43Speaker 10: as you need to to get on your feet. And
- 4:45Speaker 10: he's pissed because he's like, I don't want to live
- 4:47Speaker 10: with your sister. And I'm kind of like, but you
- 4:49Speaker 10: don't pay rent, you know what I mean?
- 4:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean for those who don't pay rent, did
- 4:54Speaker 3: they get right?
- 4:57Speaker 2: It's not making him rent, you know, it's kind of.
- 5:00Speaker 10: I don't want to, Like, I don't want him to
- 5:02Speaker 10: be uncomfortable in like a space that we're supposed to share.
- 5:05Speaker 10: But I pay one hundred percent of the rent. You know,
- 5:09Speaker 10: you paid fifty.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Then it would be okay for him to be upset.
- 5:13Speaker 10: Yeah. I think if we were like, if it was
- 5:15Speaker 10: an even split, it would be like, Okay, you have
- 5:18Speaker 10: every right this is your home to sure, let's talk
- 5:22Speaker 10: about it, let's come up with something, or maybe I
- 5:24Speaker 10: would just say okay, sorry to my sister. You got
- 5:26Speaker 10: to find another situation. But in this particular instance, since
- 5:30Speaker 10: I'm the only one paying and basically both of them
- 5:33Speaker 10: want to live there for free, I don't know. I
- 5:35Speaker 10: feel like blood is kind of thicker than water in
- 5:39Speaker 10: this case. And a little bit I'm with you.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I seeing if you're funding one hundred percent of the rent,
- 5:45Speaker 1: then you get to call the shots no matter what
- 5:48Speaker 1: the situation is.
- 5:50Speaker 3: And if you're feeling.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Tanya, absolutely, if you're paying one hundred percent of the rent,
- 5:56Speaker 1: you don't get.
- 5:56Speaker 7: To say, bro, it's just not true.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Some people are It's just true.
- 6:01Speaker 7: It's just not true.
- 6:02Speaker 2: But you know what, I don't think it comes down
- 6:04Speaker 2: to money. It's family, period. If he's going to marry
- 6:08Speaker 2: you, you guys gonna go the distance or whatever like this,
- 6:11Speaker 2: things like this happen, you're gonna have to take family
- 6:13Speaker 2: in or help out or whatever, and you got to
- 6:16Speaker 2: roll with the.
- 6:16Speaker 10: Punches, right. I think that's a good point. I mean,
- 6:20Speaker 10: you know, I hope that we're in this for the
- 6:23Speaker 10: long haul, but I don't know that yet. And my
- 6:25Speaker 10: sister is my sister, you know.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Like if this was me and my sister or
- 6:29Speaker 2: my brother had to come and live with us or whatever.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I would just tell Michael. It wouldn't be like we
- 6:33Speaker 2: need to talk about it and see if it works.
- 6:35Speaker 2: It was like, well, let's make it work.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I do think you, oh, it's your part to make
- 6:40Speaker 1: it work together. And I do feel like if you're
- 6:42Speaker 1: funding rent, you call the shots. I just think that's
- 6:46Speaker 1: the way it goes.
- 6:47Speaker 3: It's not well tonya. Have you ever funded all the rent?
- 6:50Speaker 7: Have I ever funded all the rent?
- 6:52Speaker 12: No?
- 6:52Speaker 6: But I think that it doesn't matter because I think
- 6:54Speaker 6: there's a lot of people in relationships where one person
- 6:57Speaker 6: works and one person doesn't. That person funds everything, but
- 7:01Speaker 6: they have equals, say, in the relationship. Many people live
- 7:06Speaker 6: that way. It's a great point. Thank you, Mark.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Are you talking to yourself about making a great point?
- 7:13Speaker 10: Mark?
- 7:13Speaker 2: Such a great point.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Yeah, No, it's like your own conversation over there, patting
- 7:18Speaker 1: yourself on the back.
- 7:19Speaker 7: Mark said, great point that. Thank you, Christian.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Good luck with this situation. A tricky one, but do
- 7:27Speaker 1: what you feel it's best in your heart. And thanks
- 7:28Speaker 1: for calling.
- 7:30Speaker 10: Hey, Thanks, Ally, I appreciate it.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Okay, family, first period, take care.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Why don't two point seven kiss FM? I know Sistanty's
- 7:36Speaker 1: a dog person. Tony is a dog person. I'm a
- 7:40Speaker 1: dog father, the dog father.
- 7:44Speaker 2: You say it like that sounds so powerful.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I gotta have to say the dog father, dog father.
- 7:50Speaker 7: Let's see, I'm married a dog father.
- 7:52Speaker 3: MICHAELA. Are you a dog person or a cat person?
- 7:55Speaker 7: Oh?
- 7:55Speaker 5: Dogs all the way? I'm alertic to cats?
- 7:57Speaker 3: Are you really? Are you so like them?
- 7:59Speaker 9: No?
- 7:59Speaker 1: I'm I know people that say they're allergic. Just don't
- 8:02Speaker 1: have to be your own cats or cat people.
- 8:03Speaker 5: And I'm to some dogs too.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Sadly, it's very sad. Ruby. Are you a dog or
- 8:08Speaker 3: a cat person?
- 8:09Speaker 2: I love dogs. I love both, but I love dogs.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I know I like cats too. Let's not trash the cat.
- 8:15Speaker 1: To make a choice. Yeah, I could not have both.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I had to make a choice. I've gone down the
- 8:20Speaker 1: dog path. But I have best friends that had dogs
- 8:22Speaker 1: all their lives and they became cat people.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Cats are cool. I love both. I want to get
- 8:26Speaker 2: a cat next.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You have too many things already.
- 8:31Speaker 7: Take care of themselves, very self sufficient.
- 8:35Speaker 3: But all right, then get a cat, Tanya, you should
- 8:38Speaker 3: get a cat.
- 8:38Speaker 7: I don't want a cat.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Whoa whoa was a strong negativity. Anyway, the cat hate. Yeah,
- 8:44Speaker 1: there's cat loathing there. Jenny and Guardina is on the
- 8:48Speaker 1: line and Jenny, your boyfriend is terrified of dogs. You're
- 8:52Speaker 1: a dog person and he's terrified at dogs.
- 8:55Speaker 11: Yeah, so you know, like he's so scared of dogs.
- 9:00Speaker 11: And I'm like, is that a deal breaker? Because like
- 9:03Speaker 11: my whole life, I've always loved dogs, and I've always
- 9:06Speaker 11: sent a side of having like two kids and two dogs.
- 9:10Speaker 11: He's like such a great guy and everyway we're very compatible,
- 9:15Speaker 11: but like, I don't know if I can marry a
- 9:18Speaker 11: guy who doesn't love dogs. We've been together for a year,
- 9:22Speaker 11: so I'm like, is this a deal breaker?
- 9:24Speaker 1: I have to tell you, I have a buddy who
- 9:26Speaker 1: comes over every once in a while and Georgia and
- 9:29Speaker 1: my dog tries to sit next to this friend of
- 9:31Speaker 1: mine and he doesn't like dogs, and it kind of
- 9:34Speaker 1: bothers me. It really bothers me that he doesn't He
- 9:38Speaker 1: doesn't like Georgia sniffing around him or getting.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Near his knee, And I have to say it.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It does bother me now that I say anything, no,
- 9:47Speaker 1: but it festers inside of me. I don't know that
- 9:49Speaker 1: I could date somebody that is terrified of my dog. Georgia,
- 9:55Speaker 1: and that'd be a real problem.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Why does why does as your boyfriend hate dogs so much?
- 10:02Speaker 2: Or did he have a trauma back in the day.
- 10:06Speaker 11: Oh no, his family never been like a pet family,
- 10:11Speaker 11: so he's never really been around dog.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Okay, So then there's hope now because he has had
- 10:16Speaker 1: a bad experience with the dog, never having a dog,
- 10:18Speaker 1: there's hope for him to fall in love with your dog,
- 10:21Speaker 1: and that then this should be not.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Be a deal breaker for you.
- 10:24Speaker 2: This can be reversed.
- 10:25Speaker 1: It can be reversed. It's just like one of those
- 10:28Speaker 1: things procedures you can reverse.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Sure, you want to look at it like that.
- 10:33Speaker 3: You know what I'm thinking. I know, so, Jenny, I
- 10:36Speaker 3: think this is fine.
- 10:36Speaker 1: If you get there from that, because reversible just came.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Like, you know what, I was thinking the same thing.
- 10:41Speaker 1: But I say, thank you, Jenny, you don't need to
- 10:43Speaker 1: deal break on this.
- 10:44Speaker 3: I think you can convince him to be a dog lover.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Yes, and if he's a good guy, they're hard to find,
- 10:51Speaker 1: so give this a shot.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I thank you, guys, all right, thanks Jenny.
- 10:58Speaker 6: One of my girlfriends isn't like dogs, but when she's
- 11:01Speaker 6: around a guy that she likes, she loves his dog,
- 11:05Speaker 6: you know what I mean.
- 11:07Speaker 3: So she's lying to him to stay with him.
- 11:10Speaker 6: Not they're not together, but like it's just like she
- 11:12Speaker 6: like has a crush on him and she like likes
- 11:13Speaker 6: that dog.
- 11:14Speaker 2: You know, does she like your dog?
- 11:15Speaker 7: No?
- 11:17Speaker 1: I would pretend to like cats for someone.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Good people are hard.
- 11:22Speaker 2: What about snakes?
- 11:24Speaker 1: I mean it depends on.
- 11:26Speaker 2: You meet the perfect girl and then you go and
- 11:29Speaker 2: she has a snake.
- 11:31Speaker 1: It's not something I love. That might be a problem
- 11:35Speaker 1: for me. She has a snake slithering around in a
- 11:37Speaker 1: glass container.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Oh gosh, but I would try.
- 11:40Speaker 1: You would try two point seven kiss FMT Quote for
- 11:43Speaker 1: the day.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Also, do you use chatchy pt? Everybody does every day?
- 11:47Speaker 1: You ever named it?
- 11:48Speaker 3: Geo?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yep, that's my chatchypt's name, all right.
- 11:51Speaker 3: So there are some things you should never tell GEO.
- 11:53Speaker 1: One personally identifiable information, your full name, your date of birth,
- 11:58Speaker 1: your email address. Wait, why tonya, Tanya? I can't even
- 12:02Speaker 1: say it on the air. There may be chat bots listening. Okay,
- 12:07Speaker 1: buffer that out. Number two. Never say to chat GPT
- 12:12Speaker 1: health information, including seeking health advice. Oh I do that
- 12:14Speaker 1: all the time, all your issues.
- 12:17Speaker 3: It's a problem.
- 12:18Speaker 2: But why is that a problem. It's a problem. It
- 12:20Speaker 2: literally told me that I needed to take my son
- 12:22Speaker 2: to the emergency room.
- 12:23Speaker 3: That's your son, not you.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Well, I was like putting all of his symptoms in
- 12:28Speaker 2: there and then we went and the good thing we did,
- 12:30Speaker 2: they said, we caught it just before it turned into pneumonia.
- 12:33Speaker 3: That's well, pneumonia's a bad thing. You don't want that.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Then it worked out for you this time, but will
- 12:37Speaker 1: it every time next? Don't ever tell your chat gypt
- 12:40Speaker 1: illegal activity even as a joke, Tanya.
- 12:43Speaker 7: Well, I don't really do illegal activity.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Well you say, really really want to press but I'm like,
- 12:48Speaker 1: so today's quote, worry is like a rocking chair. Worry
- 12:54Speaker 1: is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do,
- 12:57Speaker 1: but it gets you no place.
- 12:58Speaker 7: Oh wow, that's great quote.
- 13:01Speaker 1: We are going to get through it together. Lock arms.
- 13:04Speaker 1: It's kiss Flines Tanya Kiss FM headlines.
- 13:06Speaker 6: With Tanya rad Multiple lanes of the eastbound ninety one
- 13:10Speaker 6: are blocked in Anaheim near the fifty five after a
- 13:13Speaker 6: big rig overturned around two thirty this morning. The FBI
- 13:17Speaker 6: arrested four people, accusing them of planning to set off
- 13:20Speaker 6: bombs around the Los Angeles area. On New Year's Eve,
- 13:23Speaker 6: the Long Beach City Council will vote to approve eighteen
- 13:26Speaker 6: new speed cameras in a five year pilot this week,
- 13:29Speaker 6: focusing on high injury areas and school zones. And George
- 13:33Speaker 6: Clooney says that he'll no longer kiss women on screen
- 13:36Speaker 6: as he shifts from a leading man to a more
- 13:39Speaker 6: age appropriate role in Hollywood.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Kiss fl.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I do believe that when you think something it can happen,
- 13:49Speaker 1: and you put it out the universe, it can happen.
- 13:50Speaker 1: And if you think something negative or bad, it can
- 13:53Speaker 1: also happens. True, you almost have to control your thoughts
- 13:56Speaker 1: output into the universe. I can't catch all my thoughts,
- 13:58Speaker 1: but I can kind of can con my manifestation of
- 14:02Speaker 1: things in the universe.
- 14:03Speaker 8: You know.
- 14:03Speaker 1: They say if you write it down or you say
- 14:05Speaker 1: it over and over again, it will and can happen.
- 14:08Speaker 3: You can will it to happen.
- 14:09Speaker 2: That's exactly what this method is. Kind of like that,
- 14:11Speaker 2: because you're doing both.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Essentially, they're saying it's a scary, powerful method of manifestation.
- 14:18Speaker 5: Uh huh.
- 14:19Speaker 1: It's called the ten ten ten method. It's on TikTok
- 14:21Speaker 1: right now. Sisney tell us about it.
- 14:23Speaker 2: The idea is to write ten things you're grateful for,
- 14:25Speaker 2: ten things you want to manifest, and ten I am affirmations.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Why ten?
- 14:31Speaker 3: That's a lot? Can it be three?
- 14:33Speaker 2: Well, it can also be the same thing every day,
- 14:35Speaker 2: if they're the same things that you're thinking of. But
- 14:38Speaker 2: the point is to do this daily. It's a daily
- 14:41Speaker 2: practice and people are feeling more positive and focused and
- 14:45Speaker 2: apparently it's helping them attract what they want, whether it's
- 14:48Speaker 2: a dream job, maybe that relationship, or just better mindset.
- 14:53Speaker 2: And what makes it different from other manifestation hacks is
- 14:57Speaker 2: how structured it is. You're not just like wishing or visualizing.
- 15:02Speaker 2: You're actually writing it all a down every single day.
- 15:04Speaker 2: It's the every single day.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Part that's I guess that frequency does trigger your brain
- 15:10Speaker 1: in a different way other than thinking it. So if
- 15:12Speaker 1: you're physically writing it down, I would try this begins
- 15:15Speaker 1: to think it.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I would try this to people swear that it works.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Some TikTokers say that they saw results within weeks, and
- 15:23Speaker 2: it's kind of like a low, low key therapeutic.
- 15:26Speaker 7: Tell me one more time. It's ten things that you are.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Grateful, ten things you want to manifest, and ten I
- 15:31Speaker 1: am affirmations.
- 15:32Speaker 3: I'm going to do the three three three method. I
- 15:36Speaker 3: don't think I ever.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Try to want to proby.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I can't even think of ten things I want to
- 15:43Speaker 1: affirm them. Yes, no, yes, you can give me an
- 15:46Speaker 1: example of ten affirmations. I am strong, I am beautiful,
- 15:50Speaker 1: I am willing, I am worthy.
- 15:53Speaker 3: It's not like I'm talking.
- 15:54Speaker 7: I am funn I am that's the whole point.
- 15:59Speaker 11: I am.
- 16:00Speaker 7: I am smart, I am intentional, I am a catch.
- 16:05Speaker 3: I am a cat getting into this.
- 16:08Speaker 7: I'll do fast, aren't you. I'm good at You're a
- 16:12Speaker 7: fast runner.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I'm impatient. I'm more impatient than that. I am impatient,
- 16:17Speaker 1: but I wear that as a bragging tag.
- 16:19Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 16:20Speaker 3: I think my impatience benefits all of you.
- 16:22Speaker 2: And that's your one of your affirmations.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I get bored easily. That benefits you.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, we'll go with that.
- 16:31Speaker 3: There's a lot of work that manifestation practice.

- 16:44Speaker 3: other day and I was talking to.
- 16:48Speaker 7: What I was talking to people.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I took a survey.
- 16:52Speaker 1: The survey was women that I asked, and what are
- 16:55Speaker 1: the are they are single? And they said they cannot
- 17:00Speaker 1: find anybody good here, they cannot find anybody.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Quote normal here.
- 17:05Speaker 7: Why aren't they dating you?
- 17:08Speaker 3: I didn't ask that question in the survey.
- 17:10Speaker 2: WHOA is this a live survey?
- 17:11Speaker 3: This is a live survey. Do you Sometimes I'll just
- 17:14Speaker 3: stop at tables and I'll ask questions. Sin, No, I
- 17:17Speaker 3: definitely do not do that. Yeah, this was one of
- 17:19Speaker 3: those instances.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Anyway, They were like, I can't find anybody normal, but
- 17:23Speaker 1: Christian thought he found someone normal, right, just just to.
- 17:27Speaker 6: Put a pin in that, or just to just to
- 17:30Speaker 6: if somebody says that, that's such like an open door
- 17:33Speaker 6: for you to come in and be like, enter me,
- 17:37Speaker 6: enter me, That's.
- 17:37Speaker 3: What I'll say. Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, got it. Yeah,

- 17:47Speaker 6: I'm Ryan.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Yes normal, he's not normal?
- 17:51Speaker 3: Do I want to be normal?
- 17:52Speaker 11: Yes?
- 17:53Speaker 7: Oh my gosh, you're so normal compared to like all
- 17:56Speaker 7: these weirdos I've dated out there.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Oh thanks? So yes, where's the bar on this? Anyway?
- 18:02Speaker 1: Christian and Sherman Hooks, reaches out and says, we've actually
- 18:06Speaker 1: never gone out, but we were going to go out
- 18:09Speaker 1: and he canceled abruptly.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I have a theory as to why, and I need
- 18:15Speaker 3: to know if I am right.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Okay, Christian is on the line here in Sherman's Christian,
- 18:19Speaker 1: good morning, and thanks for reaching out to us.
- 18:21Speaker 3: What's your theory on why is this a guy named
- 18:24Speaker 3: Dylan Christian?
- 18:26Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 18:27Speaker 3: Okay, So why do you think he bailed on you
- 18:29Speaker 3: before you went out?
- 18:31Speaker 13: That's the thing I'm not quite sure. I mean after
- 18:35Speaker 13: we matched. I did send him a photo, so I mean,
- 18:41Speaker 13: like I said, we met on Scruff and we hit
- 18:44Speaker 13: it off like crazy, and then I was traveling for
- 18:47Speaker 13: work and the entire time we were chatting back and
- 18:48Speaker 13: forth and it was just going like so right, you know, yeah, wait,
- 18:56Speaker 13: you don't know what Scruff is?
- 18:57Speaker 3: I don't.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I also don't.
- 18:59Speaker 13: Oh come on, Ryan, it's a gay dating app. It's
- 19:02Speaker 13: like Grinder a bit better.
- 19:03Speaker 3: It's better than grin.
- 19:04Speaker 10: I think what makes it better?
- 19:06Speaker 3: Why Scruff better than grind?
- 19:08Speaker 10: The selection of men?
- 19:10Speaker 3: Got it?
- 19:11Speaker 7: Okay?
- 19:12Speaker 3: So, anyway, you met this guy on Scruff and why
- 19:14Speaker 3: do you think he bailed?
- 19:18Speaker 13: So that's what I'm trying to find out because we
- 19:20Speaker 13: were finally going to link. I was traveling we U
- 19:23Speaker 13: when we connected and matched, and then when I got
- 19:26Speaker 13: back to LA, we were scheduling a date for Saturday night,
- 19:29Speaker 13: and that afternoon, just like a few hours before the date,
- 19:33Speaker 13: he said, okay, like what are what are you going
- 19:35Speaker 13: to show?
- 19:35Speaker 9: Like?
- 19:35Speaker 10: What are you gonna wear?
- 19:37Speaker 13: So I sent him a photo was gonna wear that night,
- 19:39Speaker 13: And mind you, we had sent plenty of photos before that,
- 19:42Speaker 13: It's not like he'd never seen me before. But then
- 19:45Speaker 13: no response, and then an hour later he messaged me
- 19:48Speaker 13: that he doesn't think tonight's going to.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Work sorry because of what you sent him. What were
- 19:53Speaker 3: you wearing? What was the outfit?
- 19:55Speaker 13: I was wearing a great date fit like that I've
- 20:00Speaker 13: fit like some tight like it was tight.
- 20:03Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 13: I was wearing the slim black pants, white button down
- 20:06Speaker 13: shirt and you know it's just like slightly sheer, so
- 20:09Speaker 13: sexy but not too sexy, crop leather jacket that I
- 20:11Speaker 13: got in Miami last year. I looked good, like it
- 20:13Speaker 13: was date night good, not over the top.
- 20:16Speaker 3: And you think this guy bailed on you just because
- 20:18Speaker 3: of your look?
- 20:19Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 20:19Speaker 13: I think he was like, I don't like that outfit.
- 20:21Speaker 13: I don't like this guy anymore. And I'm like, well,
- 20:23Speaker 13: what's the catch because I have other things in my closet.
- 20:25Speaker 2: I mean, if that's the case, this guy's pettea And
- 20:28Speaker 2: do you really want to.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Get the scruff so good? Just go back on scruff
- 20:30Speaker 3: and find another dude.
- 20:32Speaker 10: Well, I might just do that.
- 20:33Speaker 13: But we were hitting it off like.
- 20:34Speaker 10: It was a good back and forth.
- 20:36Speaker 8: Leading up to that.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Okay, hold on, you sound cute and great.
- 20:41Speaker 10: Thanks, I am.
- 20:44Speaker 1: He's very humble. You've known him for two minutes and
- 20:46Speaker 1: thirty seconds, Tanya. I like the vibes, all right, hold
- 20:49Speaker 1: on one second. You like a sheer shirt and a
- 20:51Speaker 1: crop leather jacket from yeah, I do. All right, Well,
- 20:55Speaker 1: then what's this guy Dylan all about? And is he
- 20:58Speaker 1: really a good guy? If they met and the guy
- 20:59Speaker 1: bailed because of his look, we'll get back to that.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I think he's gonna come on with his next a kiss.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Hight let me explain this. We're in the middle of
- 21:05Speaker 1: a second date.
- 21:06Speaker 10: Update.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Christian reached out to us. He met Dylan on a
- 21:09Speaker 1: dating app and they were about to go out. Dylan asked, Christian,
- 21:13Speaker 1: what are you wearing for the date. Christian sent a
- 21:16Speaker 1: photo of him in tight jeans, kind of a sheer
- 21:19Speaker 1: white shirt and a cropped jacket, and after that picture was.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Sent to Dylan, Dylan bailed on the date.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Christian wants to know why because he felt like he
- 21:29Speaker 1: hit it off with this guy even though they never
- 21:30Speaker 1: met and gone out. He thought there was a connection.
- 21:33Speaker 1: And that's why we're making the call right now. Dylan
- 21:35Speaker 1: is on the line. Christian, can you hang on second?
- 21:38Speaker 8: Oh?
- 21:39Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, be very quiet. Let's see we can

- 23:40Speaker 9: chill a casual and if I'm feeling chilling casual, great

- 23:49Speaker 3: Okay, what was he like?
- 23:51Speaker 9: His outfit like was not chilling, casual, like he had
- 23:54Speaker 9: this like leather jacket with like a dressy shirt and
- 23:58Speaker 9: fancy pants. It was like so trying so hard. Honestly,

- 26:33Speaker 3: Entertainment on Air with Ryan Seacrest Kiss FM. Ryan Seacrest here,
- 26:40Speaker 3: thanks for listening to us, Sisney and Tanya.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I mean, I think the great thing about being on
- 26:43Speaker 1: the radio every day is that we do get a
- 26:46Speaker 1: sense that we get to know people.
- 26:48Speaker 3: You don't have a call a call in and I
- 26:49Speaker 3: will talk for a few minutes. If you're like I've
- 26:51Speaker 3: known them all all along, we've never met.
- 26:54Speaker 1: But you do get a sense of somebody when you
- 26:57Speaker 1: get a chance to hear from them on a regular basis.
- 27:00Speaker 1: When we talked to somebody for a few minutes, and
- 27:02Speaker 1: that's what happened with Kathy. Kathy listens to us on
- 27:06Speaker 1: the iHeartRadio app in Pennsylvania, and she called in and
- 27:09Speaker 1: she said, Ryan, I have to set you up with
- 27:12Speaker 1: my sister. Now, I'm not a setup kind of person,
- 27:16Speaker 1: but I would like to understand why Kathy, who has
- 27:20Speaker 1: never met me, thinks that her sister be a good
- 27:22Speaker 1: person in my life.
- 27:24Speaker 3: I just was curious to know. So, Kathy, are you here?
- 27:27Speaker 3: I am here now, Kathy is your sister on the line.
- 27:32Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 27:33Speaker 7: Also, maybe Kristen, maybe it's time we start doing setups.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I don't know. Is it Kristen?
- 27:38Speaker 5: Is that her name.
- 27:40Speaker 15: Christy Kristen whatever.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Okay, got it. We do have her.
- 27:44Speaker 1: She worked with the Alzheimer's Association. She's teaching geriatrics at
- 27:49Speaker 1: a college locally.
- 27:51Speaker 3: He said.
- 27:51Speaker 1: She's in a Yogan pilates. She worked with a trainer
- 27:55Speaker 1: for a year. She hiked Machipichi. I'm looking back at
- 27:58Speaker 1: the notes. She helped build schools in Peru.
- 28:02Speaker 2: I love that connection to me, so this makes sense.
- 28:05Speaker 3: She worked at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand. We got
- 28:08Speaker 3: to meet this woman.
- 28:09Speaker 16: Yes, how you Well, there's a couple other things and ladies,
- 28:14Speaker 16: you're gonna like this number one.
- 28:15Speaker 15: Ryan, you did a bit a couple of weeks ago
- 28:17Speaker 15: about the perfect height for you.
- 28:19Speaker 16: Do you remember what it was?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Was it any hype?
- 28:22Speaker 10: It was?
- 28:23Speaker 15: It was a story that you did about how height
- 28:25Speaker 15: and relationship.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Yeah, we had us subtract inches based off of our Hiama.
- 28:30Speaker 3: I don't discriminate about Hi. Why Kristin are you there?
- 28:34Speaker 5: I am hello, Kristin.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Hi, It's Ryan.
- 28:37Speaker 10: How are you?
- 28:38Speaker 13: Hi?
- 28:38Speaker 8: Ryan?
- 28:38Speaker 16: I'm good.
- 28:39Speaker 13: How are you?
- 28:39Speaker 3: I'm great? So you sound amazing, by the way, started
- 28:42Speaker 3: working in a nursing home.
- 28:43Speaker 1: You did all this other great work for people and
- 28:45Speaker 1: places around the world and your sister.
- 28:49Speaker 3: You know, your sister called this radio show for us
- 28:51Speaker 3: to meet.
- 28:53Speaker 16: Yes, and you told me she did that.
- 28:55Speaker 12: I didn't just ambush you.
- 28:57Speaker 15: I ambushed her too. I didn't ask her, I didn't
- 28:59Speaker 15: tell I just did it.
- 29:01Speaker 3: So Christy, tell us about yourself. What do you do
- 29:03Speaker 3: now every day?
- 29:05Speaker 16: So right now I am a medical searchier worker, and
- 29:10Speaker 16: so I go and visit older adults and adults with
- 29:13Speaker 16: disabilities at home and just help them get services set
- 29:17Speaker 16: up and just make sure that they can be happy
- 29:20Speaker 16: and healthy at home and get everything that they need.
- 29:23Speaker 3: She's such a good person.
- 29:24Speaker 15: Yeah, well, yeah, thank you.
- 29:27Speaker 16: Christy is a Scorpio and you're a Capricorn, and I
- 29:30Speaker 16: also look that.
- 29:31Speaker 15: Up Tanya, you'll probably appreciate this. Yeah, but they're very
- 29:35Speaker 15: very compatible. They also have excellent work work ethics. They're
- 29:40Speaker 15: both very driven, and that's definitely both of you. Both,
- 29:45Speaker 15: you know, very specialists in your fields. So I just
- 29:51Speaker 15: feel like everything's kind of aligning for the two of
- 29:54Speaker 15: you to meet and just see what happens, I think
- 30:00Speaker 15: for each other.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Kathy has done some real homework on this, Christy. Where
- 30:06Speaker 3: do you live?
- 30:07Speaker 16: I live in Philadelphia. Yeah, the Northwestern section of the city.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Okay, Tanya doesn't like that apparently.
- 30:16Speaker 6: Well, I just feel like long distance is hard for
- 30:19Speaker 6: you because you're always working, so it's not going to
- 30:20Speaker 6: be like ideal for you to like how far is
- 30:24Speaker 6: Hershey Park from you?
- 30:26Speaker 16: Maybe an hour and a half.
- 30:30Speaker 15: Minutes where we grew up.
- 30:32Speaker 7: When are you and Hershey Park on tour.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Summer tour and stop in Hershey.
- 30:38Speaker 7: Park across the like freeways? What are we talking about?
- 30:44Speaker 3: I have to tell you my Both of my parents
- 30:46Speaker 3: are from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. They met in high Way. Yet
- 30:51Speaker 3: do you know Chambersburg?
- 30:53Speaker 8: I went. I went to Shippensburg University.
- 30:55Speaker 3: You did not go to Shippensburg I did.
- 30:57Speaker 16: I went to Ship I did.
- 30:59Speaker 2: She's a Shipper? What does that mean?
- 31:01Speaker 3: I went to college?
- 31:03Speaker 16: I went to yeahs wouldn't know that.
- 31:06Speaker 3: You wouldn't know what.
- 31:10Speaker 2: That's what he says, and he goes back to his roots.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Okay, So, Kathy Christy, we have to be continue this
- 31:16Speaker 1: because we must take a break.
- 31:17Speaker 3: But I'm going to tell my mom you went to Ship.
- 31:20Speaker 2: What if I do another call?
- 31:23Speaker 3: My mom went to the Pocono.
- 31:24Speaker 2: But we do some sort of like match game type
- 31:26Speaker 2: stuff like between you two to see if there's real connection.
- 31:30Speaker 1: There's already connections. She went to Shippensburg, my mom, I
- 31:32Speaker 1: want more.
- 31:32Speaker 2: I want to get deeper.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Well, Christy and Kathy old on one side.
- 31:36Speaker 7: I just feel like you're not being realistic about this.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think it'll work out too far, it's
- 31:43Speaker 1: so far. But I want to tell my mom that
- 31:46Speaker 1: she went to ship.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Let's get to know her more.
- 31:48Speaker 3: We get what's the points in Lancaster County?
- 31:51Speaker 8: So you never know.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it's too far.
- 31:55Speaker 6: We will only be able to see her on the weekends.
- 31:57Speaker 6: And Ryan wants someone to spend his life with. You
- 31:59Speaker 6: want something to cuddle?
- 32:00Speaker 1: How about everyone gets out of my business.
- 32:02Speaker 2: We don't know that Ryan doesn't cuddle.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Oh true, you know.
- 32:07Speaker 3: That because you did ask on this show the other day.
- 32:10Speaker 7: We had asked multiple axes.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Yeah, somehow I don't like any of this right now.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Thank you for being here. Let's get to the caller
- 32:21Speaker 1: here on the line in Whittier, naughdy A good morning.
- 32:24Speaker 14: How are you?
- 32:26Speaker 12: Morning's good?
- 32:26Speaker 1: How are you?
- 32:27Speaker 3: We're doing well? Thank you?
- 32:28Speaker 1: So you have a wedding dilemma. This is a very
- 32:31Speaker 1: familiar category for us.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I do.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I don't remember last time somebody called it had a
- 32:39Speaker 1: good story about their wedding.
- 32:41Speaker 3: It's always a wedding dilemma.
- 32:42Speaker 7: Well, there's a lot.
- 32:43Speaker 6: First of all, there are a law of decisions that
- 32:45Speaker 6: go into planning a wedding.
- 32:47Speaker 1: It's a lot of work. Yes, and people recommend to
- 32:52Speaker 1: not do it in some places. Now yes people, some
- 32:56Speaker 1: places people, some people tell me just don't do it.
- 32:58Speaker 5: No way.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Celebrating the love is the best.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Celebrating is different. I can celebrate love if I need
- 33:04Speaker 3: this ceremony to celebrate love, but not eve. What's your issue?
- 33:07Speaker 3: What happened?
- 33:09Speaker 12: So my friends and I were going to a wedding
- 33:12Speaker 12: up in Riverside, and well, I mean the four of
- 33:16Speaker 12: us we decided to go together, and uh, three of
- 33:20Speaker 12: us love in Wittier and one lives in Diamond Bar.
- 33:24Speaker 12: So my friend who lives in Diamond Bar, I mean,
- 33:26Speaker 12: she doesn't drink or anything. So she offered to drive
- 33:30Speaker 12: us to the wedding from her house, which is really
- 33:33Speaker 12: super super nice. However, I mean she did say like
- 33:37Speaker 12: we would have to drive to her house and then
- 33:39Speaker 12: she would take us from there to Riverside, which I
- 33:43Speaker 12: mean that makes absolute sense. And she was just really
- 33:47Speaker 12: nice about driving us there in the first place. But
- 33:52Speaker 12: that also means that none of us.
- 33:55Speaker 11: Really get to drink either.
- 33:57Speaker 13: Because because your place.
- 34:01Speaker 3: I mean, but what's the dilemma. But what's the dilemma?
- 34:04Speaker 1: She's trying to do you a favor, So just cut
- 34:07Speaker 1: out the favor and figure out another way to get
- 34:08Speaker 1: to and from the wedding.
- 34:11Speaker 12: Well, I mean, my other friends they're saying that I
- 34:13Speaker 12: should suggest that, like she just come before the wedding,
- 34:17Speaker 12: like pick us up from our halls and then drive
- 34:19Speaker 12: us all the way to Riverside to the wedding.
- 34:22Speaker 3: So, I mean, I don't think that's fair.
- 34:25Speaker 1: It's like, first of all, she doesn't drink, so she's
- 34:27Speaker 1: probably always being asked to drive, and that's fine, But
- 34:32Speaker 1: she's not gonna come pick everybody up and then car
- 34:34Speaker 1: pull you out to the wedding and back. I think
- 34:36Speaker 1: it's totally reasonable for her to ask you to drive it.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Why don't you just take a taxi or have someone
- 34:43Speaker 1: drop you off at her house.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't have a car that'll cut down the time,
- 34:48Speaker 2: take a lift or something.
- 34:51Speaker 12: It's like an hour a little over an hour to
- 34:54Speaker 12: drive away.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Well that's why she's not coming to pick you up.
- 34:57Speaker 3: This is not a wedding dilemma, Nadia, this is like
- 35:00Speaker 3: a selfish friend dilemma.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Oh, do you can split the ride share? Split the
- 35:10Speaker 2: ride share with the friends that are coming from with you.
- 35:12Speaker 1: That's reasonable for you to go to this friend's house
- 35:14Speaker 1: for her to drive you to the wedding since she's
- 35:15Speaker 1: not drinking.
- 35:19Speaker 12: I mean, I mean she was really nice about it,
- 35:22Speaker 12: like to let us, like, you know, drive us from
- 35:25Speaker 12: her house.
- 35:26Speaker 1: But like then none of the like yet, this is
- 35:31Speaker 1: not a real problem and has nothing to do with
- 35:33Speaker 1: the wedding or ask to spend the night.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Maybe you can spend the night and day.
- 35:36Speaker 3: There are several solutions to this, and we.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Are not a good luck. Yes, please realize your friend
- 35:44Speaker 1: is doing something generous and kind. Have a good day,
- 35:48Speaker 1: all right, goodbye. So do you have a friend that
- 35:52Speaker 1: doesn't drink and are always getting stuck driving?
- 35:53Speaker 3: I have a friend like that.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I also have gotten into restaurants. I know it's very
- 35:57Speaker 1: popular to have non alcoholic beverages on the menus, but
- 36:00Speaker 1: I find that sometimes I'll go into the restaurant and
- 36:03Speaker 1: they are like, we have non alcoholic beverages.
- 36:04Speaker 3: I I don't want that. I don't. Is it bad
- 36:08Speaker 3: for me to say I don't want that?
- 36:09Speaker 9: No?
- 36:10Speaker 1: Are They're so excited to show you the non alcoholic
- 36:12Speaker 1: beverage list. I'm not as excited to see it as
- 36:14Speaker 1: there to show me you.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Not the real deal.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I mean, if you're if you're gonna have one, have
- 36:18Speaker 3: one for me. I don't want to have the calories
- 36:21Speaker 3: of the non alcoholic one.
- 36:22Speaker 7: Right, what's the point?
- 36:23Speaker 14: Right?
- 36:24Speaker 3: Well, that's the problem.
- 36:25Speaker 10: I think.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Then we need a point. Yeah, right, there is an issue.
- 36:28Speaker 1: If you need a point that there's no issue. But
- 36:31Speaker 1: I'm saying I like to have a point to have
- 36:34Speaker 1: the drink to write.
- 36:38Speaker 2: You gotta tell me twice.
- 36:40Speaker 3: I'm just telling you.
- 36:42Speaker 1: I almost feel guilty thinking I don't want to waste
- 36:44Speaker 1: the calories. I have a point over here. Yeah, and
- 36:47Speaker 1: my sober friend is driving some bottom up, so enjoy.
- 36:54Speaker 1: You're on kiss f M.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Good morning, Kiss FM.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Well, I just was looking at my phone and it
- 36:59Speaker 1: says he I got a notification Sisiny met Michael sixteen
- 37:03Speaker 1: years ago today.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Oh lovely, you have that on your phone.
- 37:05Speaker 7: That is a notification in your phone.
- 37:08Speaker 3: It's weird the things I have.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Oh, I love that yes, I don't know. I got
- 37:11Speaker 1: to get there because I can't put my own calendar
- 37:13Speaker 1: in my phone.
- 37:14Speaker 7: A true blind day.
- 37:15Speaker 2: I didn't know anything about him besides his name and
- 37:18Speaker 2: where he worked, and I didn't know what he looked like.
- 37:20Speaker 2: I just met him.
- 37:21Speaker 1: You guys both got lucky. You're both catches. You know
- 37:24Speaker 1: you you're both catches. Eight hundred five to one O
- 37:28Speaker 1: two seven. Alyssa's on the line. Hi, Alyssa, good morning,
- 37:31Speaker 1: it's all of us. Here's kiss. How's your dag gone?
- 37:34Speaker 11: It's great?
- 37:35Speaker 3: Great, great great great. How can we help you?
- 37:38Speaker 14: Well, I have kind of a funky situation at work
- 37:43Speaker 14: and I'm not sure what to do. So my boss
- 37:46Speaker 14: brings her dog to work every day, and you know,
- 37:50Speaker 14: I love dogs and I would be fine with that,
- 37:53Speaker 14: but we're on the eighth floor of our building and
- 37:56Speaker 14: she doesn't keep track.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Of it at all.
- 37:57Speaker 14: She just lets it roam around, and like a few
- 38:01Speaker 14: times it's gotten on the elevator, which has led to
- 38:04Speaker 14: like a whole building live search, which is crazy, and
- 38:08Speaker 14: like like, like, I'm a I love dogs, and I
- 38:13Speaker 14: don't want this dog to get lost, and like if
- 38:16Speaker 14: it got on the elevator and went to the first floor.
- 38:20Speaker 14: She could end up out on the street, and so like,
- 38:24Speaker 14: I basically end up following this dog around all day
- 38:27Speaker 14: and I'm like not getting anything done. And it wasn't
- 38:31Speaker 14: something that was assigned to me.
- 38:32Speaker 13: It's just that I.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Can't for dogs in general.
- 38:36Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, I can't let it like roam around and
- 38:38Speaker 14: get lost or hurt or whatever.
- 38:40Speaker 10: So, like, what do I do?
- 38:42Speaker 14: Because I don't feel like I can really talk to
- 38:44Speaker 14: her about this and suggest she not bring her in anymore.
- 38:49Speaker 14: I just I just don't know what to do with
- 38:51Speaker 14: my boss, you know, not.
- 38:52Speaker 7: Your boss, not like a coworker.
- 38:56Speaker 1: What would you do if we had somebody in there
- 38:59Speaker 1: bringing in their dog every day. I just want to
- 39:00Speaker 1: bring my dog in every day too.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Your dog is very well behaved. I wouldn't mind.
- 39:05Speaker 3: It's fair. My dog's human.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Yeah, she's incredible. But if it was a dog that
- 39:09Speaker 2: was yes on the loose, and now you're feeling.
- 39:11Speaker 1: That she's responsibility by the way, something goes bad, you're gonna.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Like it's not right because something happens and you saw
- 39:17Speaker 2: it go down the elevator. Didn't say anything, then what
- 39:20Speaker 2: I know?
- 39:20Speaker 7: But it's her boss, she's supposed to say something.
- 39:23Speaker 2: It's your boss.
- 39:24Speaker 3: You just tell your boss how you feel.
- 39:26Speaker 1: You can't do that. You can't tell your boss how
- 39:29Speaker 1: you feel. No, have you never told your boss how
- 39:32Speaker 1: you feel?
- 39:33Speaker 7: Well, let's see. My boss is Biatta. I tell her
- 39:37Speaker 7: how I feel.
- 39:38Speaker 6: But if if she brought her dog every day, I
- 39:41Speaker 6: wouldn't And I don't think I would go to her
- 39:43Speaker 6: and say, hey, don't bring your dog.
- 39:45Speaker 3: No way, listen, what do you think the best way
- 39:47Speaker 3: to handle this is?
- 39:48Speaker 9: Like?
- 39:49Speaker 3: What do you think the best way to handle it?
- 39:50Speaker 9: Is?
- 39:52Speaker 5: Me?
- 39:53Speaker 10: I just I just don't know.
- 39:54Speaker 14: It's like it's like judging how someone's parents, you know,
- 39:56Speaker 14: like how they deal with their dog.
- 39:58Speaker 8: True, Like I.
- 40:02Speaker 10: Don't know.
- 40:02Speaker 2: You just have to deal with it. There's nothing you
- 40:05Speaker 2: can't do. This reminds me of when I lived in
- 40:07Speaker 2: an apartment and the manager lived above me, and she
- 40:10Speaker 2: was so loud it sounded like she was rollerblading or
- 40:13Speaker 2: moving the furniture every night. No, but I couldn't tell.
- 40:18Speaker 2: I couldn't complain.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Because that was the manager to kick you out for
- 40:22Speaker 3: them being too loud.
- 40:23Speaker 1: But but I you know, it's like it was like,
- 40:27Speaker 1: can you get other people at work to create a
- 40:30Speaker 1: committee that might explain this to her, that it's a
- 40:32Speaker 1: little not good, not just us, it's not just you.
- 40:36Speaker 6: What if you leash the dog to your desk or
- 40:39Speaker 6: buy a nice bed so it doesn't want to leave
- 40:40Speaker 6: the nice bed.
- 40:41Speaker 3: There's three great options. Listen, treats, lots of treats. It's
- 40:47Speaker 3: like a cute.
- 40:48Speaker 1: It's a cute horrible situation, you know what I mean.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It's adorable but also very difficult and tricky and sticky.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Only in LA we have like bosses bring their dogs
- 40:57Speaker 2: and so.
- 40:58Speaker 3: My dog's a good talk.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Your dog is great, so I said, I wouldn't have
- 41:02Speaker 2: an issue with her.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Oh well, then you watch what happens next week.
- 41:05Speaker 7: I know I wish we could bring our dogs here.
- 41:06Speaker 3: I think we can. Who said that.
- 41:11Speaker 7: A lot of people, but mainly the building management.
- 41:14Speaker 3: I'm emotionally attached to mine.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Well there's that.
- 41:18Speaker 3: So you're telling them that I don't think.
- 41:20Speaker 2: I don't think they can.
- 41:21Speaker 3: I think they will care. But we have to care.
- 41:25Speaker 2: You're just everywhere.
- 41:28Speaker 1: No one said anything not here though I haven't brought
- 41:31Speaker 1: like in here. Yeah I have actually once, but I
- 41:34Speaker 1: didn't I didn't know I know about that. That was
- 41:37Speaker 1: just one time.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Bring her to the forum.
- 41:41Speaker 10: On air with Ryan Seacrest on two.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Point seven Kiss FM.
- 41:47Speaker 1: So, Michael in the back room was invited to a
- 41:50Speaker 1: wedding a few days ago, and you were invited but
- 41:53Speaker 1: without a plus one.
- 41:54Speaker 4: Yeah, which this one was fine because a lot of
- 41:56Speaker 4: single friends were there. But I have three coming up,
- 41:59Speaker 4: and the group of friends that are going into these
- 42:01Speaker 4: weddings all have plus ones because they're in relationships. So
- 42:05Speaker 4: I feel awkward when I go and I have no
- 42:08Speaker 4: one else, no one else to share a hotel chance with,
- 42:11Speaker 4: maybe a guy friend, or just that I don't know
- 42:13Speaker 4: another friend where I'm not like alone, like sitting by myself,
- 42:16Speaker 4: like at certain parts of the night.
- 42:18Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 42:18Speaker 1: A lot of times when people are getting married, they
- 42:21Speaker 1: sort of a rule if you haven't been with the
- 42:23Speaker 1: person for three months or something like that, then we're
- 42:26Speaker 1: not really invited, right. They don't want strangers at their wedding.
- 42:32Speaker 1: I mean, Tanya, I didn't want me to bring anybody.
- 42:34Speaker 7: No, I had a hard We had no plus ones.
- 42:37Speaker 6: If you were the only people I gave plus ones
- 42:39Speaker 6: two were like people that were in the wedding. So
- 42:42Speaker 6: like two of my best friends that are single, I said,
- 42:44Speaker 6: if they wanted to bring somebody, Ryan.
- 42:47Speaker 3: It you give me a deadline to have to, like
- 42:50Speaker 3: tell you if somebody was fulling that.
- 42:52Speaker 7: Everybody gives a deadline for their wedding.
- 42:54Speaker 1: But she didn't really want me to bring somebody. I
- 42:56Speaker 1: could tell by the deadline everybody.
- 42:59Speaker 2: That's why I didn't anybody.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I think that.
- 43:04Speaker 1: It's up to the bride in the groom because if
- 43:06Speaker 1: they don't want somebody, they don't know what their wedding.
- 43:09Speaker 1: I kind of get that, Sisney Michaela.
- 43:12Speaker 5: I mean I get that too.
- 43:14Speaker 4: I mean, instead a wedding that like I don't know
- 43:18Speaker 4: a lot of people, I only know like that that
- 43:20Speaker 4: don't go.
- 43:21Speaker 5: I guess that's an option too, But that is true.
- 43:25Speaker 3: That's a great option. Don't let them take up your
- 43:28Speaker 3: weekend looking for somebody. Yeah, find somebody.
- 43:33Speaker 5: I never thought of that. But I also love the bride,
- 43:35Speaker 5: so I feel like I need to, Oh, you.
- 43:38Speaker 3: Know, not so much if she won't let you bring
- 43:40Speaker 3: a friend.
- 43:41Speaker 12: Not true.
- 43:41Speaker 2: It's not about her not letting her bring a friend.
- 43:43Speaker 2: It's just that you have these rules that you just
- 43:46Speaker 2: maxed out with the guest list.
- 43:48Speaker 1: There's a cutoff point too, But don't take it personally.
- 43:52Speaker 1: But you can also very easily, and I can give
- 43:55Speaker 1: you exactly what to say. I know how to blow
- 43:57Speaker 1: off weddings really easily. You can tell them, as tany
- 44:01Speaker 1: U said, tell people for years she had to work
- 44:03Speaker 1: for me on America's at forty one weekends, which was
- 44:06Speaker 1: never true.
- 44:07Speaker 3: She never had to work there true.
- 44:08Speaker 7: But I just get out of wedding that way. I
- 44:10Speaker 7: got out of spending the night with men that I
- 44:12Speaker 7: didn't want to spend the night with.
- 44:14Speaker 3: Well, you don't need me as an excuse to not
- 44:16Speaker 3: spend the night with a guy.
- 44:17Speaker 7: It was an amazing excuse.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Michaela.
- 44:21Speaker 1: You can always and if they I can leave you
- 44:23Speaker 1: a voice mail or something that says, hey, you got
- 44:25Speaker 1: to see it, see it nine that we moved up
- 44:29Speaker 1: to countdown at eight forty tomorrow Sunday morning. Yeah, Michaela,
- 44:34Speaker 1: you're always going through it. Did you anything go on
- 44:37Speaker 1: with this guy on Raya?
- 44:38Speaker 9: No?
- 44:38Speaker 4: Ever since I asked that, it's been like slow, like
- 44:42Speaker 4: having gotten like the messages back kind of fizzled out.
- 44:44Speaker 5: So I think, oh, I don't know.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Ever since you asked if he was in a relationship,
- 44:49Speaker 3: because your friend told you that he's guilty.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Yeah, guilty, unless he just doesn't like that, I like,
- 44:54Speaker 4: kind of snooped. I guess, I don't know whatever. Yeah, well,
- 44:58Speaker 4: not the one.
- 44:59Speaker 3: He's not the one. They're plenty of Garretts and Billies
- 45:02Speaker 3: and Tommy's on ride.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Will you end up with? Will it be a Trevor?
- 45:07Speaker 3: Maybe it's a Trevor? Alright, love it?
- 45:08Speaker 2: And Andrew.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Or what Robert Noye?
- 45:14Speaker 7: What about Wyatt?
- 45:16Speaker 3: It will not be a Wyatt.
- 45:18Speaker 7: Xander.
- 45:19Speaker 1: It's never a Xander, No, never Axander. Might be a
- 45:23Speaker 1: Gabe Jack Xavier Jack. Well just well, she'll tell us
- 45:27Speaker 1: when you find somebody in Rya.
- 45:28Speaker 5: Maybe I'll find someone at the wedding.
- 45:29Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 45:30Speaker 1: It's kids, a family. Listen to us on iHeart radio,
- 45:32Speaker 1: listen on the car radio. However you want us, this
- 45:36Speaker 1: is us. You can get us now. I need everybody
- 45:40Speaker 1: to lean in on this one. Christian calling with an issue,
- 45:42Speaker 1: Sisney Tani in Long Beach, Christian, good morning.
- 45:47Speaker 10: Hey, good morning. How's it going?
- 45:49Speaker 3: It's going all right here? How can we help you?
- 45:51Speaker 3: What's up?
- 45:52Speaker 10: All right?
- 45:53Speaker 11: So?
- 45:53Speaker 10: I need a little advice. Basically, my boyfriend is has
- 45:59Speaker 10: been living with me, crash with me for a few months,
- 46:01Speaker 10: and uh, he doesn't pay rent, which that's fine for me.
- 46:05Speaker 10: I'm paying it all. I don't really, I'm not really complaining,
- 46:08Speaker 10: but just recently, my sister needs a place to stay.
- 46:12Speaker 10: We have the space, and I'm like, it's my sister,
- 46:16Speaker 10: of course, you can live with us for as long
- 46:19Speaker 10: as you need to to get on your feet. And
- 46:21Speaker 10: he's pissed because he's like, I don't want to live
- 46:23Speaker 10: with your sister. And I'm kind of like, but you
- 46:25Speaker 10: don't pay rent, you know what I mean?
- 46:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean for those who don't pay rent, did
- 46:30Speaker 3: they get right?
- 46:32Speaker 7: It's not making him pay rent, you know, it's.
- 46:35Speaker 10: Kind of hard. I don't want to, Like, I don't
- 46:38Speaker 10: want him to be uncomfortable in like a space that
- 46:40Speaker 10: we're supposed to share, but I pay one hundred percent
- 46:43Speaker 10: of the.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Rent, you know, then it would be okay for him
- 46:48Speaker 2: to be upset.
- 46:49Speaker 10: Yes, I think if we were like if it was
- 46:51Speaker 10: an even split, it would be like, Okay, you have
- 46:54Speaker 10: every right this is your home to sure, let's talk
- 46:58Speaker 10: about it, let's come up with something. Or maybe I
- 47:00Speaker 10: would just say, okay, sorry to my sister, you got
- 47:02Speaker 10: to find another situation. But in this particular instance, since
- 47:06Speaker 10: I'm the only one paying and basically both of them
- 47:09Speaker 10: want to live there for free. I don't know. I
- 47:11Speaker 10: feel like blood is kind of thicker than water in
- 47:15Speaker 10: this case, and a little bit.
- 47:17Speaker 3: I'm with you.
- 47:18Speaker 1: I think if you're funding one hundred percent of the rent,
- 47:21Speaker 1: then you get to call the shots no matter what
- 47:24Speaker 1: the situation is. And if you're feeling Tanya, absolutely, if
- 47:29Speaker 1: you're paying one hundred percent of the rent, you don't get.
- 47:32Speaker 7: To say, bro, it's just not true.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Some people aren't just true, it's just not true.
- 47:38Speaker 2: But you know what, I don't think it comes down
- 47:40Speaker 2: to money. It's family, period. If he's going to marry you,
- 47:44Speaker 2: you guys gonna go the distance or whatever like this,
- 47:47Speaker 2: things like this happen, you're gonna have to take family
- 47:49Speaker 2: in or help out or whatever, and you got to
- 47:52Speaker 2: roll the.
- 47:52Speaker 10: Punches, right. I think that's a good point. I mean,
- 47:56Speaker 10: you know, I hope that we're in this for the
- 47:59Speaker 10: long haul, but I don't know that yet. And my
- 48:01Speaker 10: sister is my sister, you know.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Yeah, Like if this was me and my sister or
- 48:05Speaker 2: my brother had to come and live with us, whatever,
- 48:07Speaker 2: I would just tell Michael it wouldn't be like we
- 48:09Speaker 2: need to talk about it and see if it works.
- 48:11Speaker 2: It was like, well, let's make it work.
- 48:13Speaker 1: I do think you, oh, it's your partners to make
- 48:16Speaker 1: it work together. And I do feel like if you're
- 48:18Speaker 1: funding rent, you call the shots. I just think that's
- 48:22Speaker 1: the way it goes.
- 48:22Speaker 3: It's not well, tell you have you ever funded all
- 48:24Speaker 3: the rent?
- 48:25Speaker 7: Have I ever funded all the rent?
- 48:28Speaker 11: No?
- 48:28Speaker 6: But I think that it doesn't matter because I think
- 48:30Speaker 6: there's a lot of people in relationships where one person
- 48:33Speaker 6: works and one person doesn't. That person funds everything, but
- 48:37Speaker 6: they have equals, say in the relationship. Many people live
- 48:42Speaker 6: that way.
- 48:43Speaker 7: It's a great point. Thank you, Mark.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Are you talking to yourself about making a great joint.
- 48:50Speaker 10: Point? Yeah?
- 48:51Speaker 3: No, it's like your own conversation over there, patting yourself
- 48:54Speaker 3: on the back.
- 48:55Speaker 7: Mark said, great point, and I thank you, Christian.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Good luck with this situation. A tricky one, but do
- 49:02Speaker 1: what you feel is best in your heart. And thanks
- 49:04Speaker 1: for calling.
- 49:06Speaker 10: Hey, thanks all, I appreciate it.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Okay, family, first period, take care.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Why don't you point savage kiss a fam? Well, I
- 49:13Speaker 3: guess that's it for us. We'll see you tomorrow.
- 49:18Speaker 7: You guys coming over tonight tonight.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Now I have dinner plans. Thank you so much for
- 49:23Speaker 2: the invite.
- 49:24Speaker 3: How about it not a same day invite?
