- 0:00Massive news stories in the silver and gold market.
- 0:03If you needed reasons to invest into silver and gold, we don't
- 0:08just have one. We have multiple that we're
- 0:10going to cover today. Thank you for being here.
- 0:12Thank you for being part of the basement.
- 0:14Let's get started by what I think is some just absolute
- 0:17shocking, shocking news information regarding the silver
- 0:23and gold price. This is a post from Solvnet hug.
- 0:26Look at his username, my precious silver.
- 0:30Get a load of this guys. The monkey business traders at
- 0:32the Comax, right and the LBMA think it's a good idea that the
- 0:37gold to silver ratio be at 88. OK.
- 0:41The relationship between gold and silver in red price can be
- 0:46tracked back thousands of years. We have that benefit as silver
- 0:51and gold investors. We have thousands of years of
- 0:54history, not a decade like some other crypto currencies, those
- 0:59types of things. No, we have thousands, multiple
- 1:02thousands of years. The gold to silver ratio.
- 1:05For those of you who don't know and need a quick review, it's
- 1:07early, it's the day after Thanksgiving.
- 1:10You may have destroyed some brain cells yesterday.
- 1:12The gold to silver ratio measures the number of Oz of
- 1:15silver that you need to buy one ounce of gold.
- 1:18You simply divide the current gold price by the current silver
- 1:22price and that will give you the gold to silver ratio.
- 1:25The gold to silver ratio for over 5000 years had been between
- 1:311:00 to 1 and 15 to one 5000 years.
- 1:36I did a little mathematics for you guys.
- 1:38I based off a $2600 gold price, which we're going to check on
- 1:44the gold and silver price here real soon.
- 1:45But on a on a $2600 gold price, if you divide that by 15, which
- 1:51is the higher end of that 5000 years of data, we would have a
- 1:55silver price right now, today of $173 per oz.
- 2:04I mean, it's crazy. I had to look you in the eye,
- 2:06$173 per oz 5000 years history, not five years, not 50 years,
- 2:16not 500. No, we're going to go one more
- 2:19zero. We're going to go to 5000 years.
- 2:22OK, now let's get back to this because it gets even crazier.
- 2:26And then we're going to go check on the gold and silver price.
- 2:28I promise you, we may even take a look at the US debt clock to
- 2:32make sure that's not overheated as well in green.
- 2:36There have been, there have even been times and places during
- 2:40that 5000 years where silver has been valued over gold.
- 2:46We don't need a calculator for that one.
- 2:48That would mean the silver price would be above $2600 per oz
- 2:52Orange. Then up until 1980, the ratio
- 2:56was mostly 25 to one to 40 to one, except for World War One
- 3:00and World War 2 periods. Then it jumped to the current 50
- 3:04to one to 90 to one that we have now.
- 3:06And we'll calculate the update when we go out the pin backs and
- 3:09check on the gold and silver price.
- 3:11But we've been in the 50 to one to 90 to one gold to silver
- 3:14ratio for the last 30 years with the average of about 60 to one.
- 3:19Let's do some quick math 2600 divided by 60.
- 3:23If we had to say that would be $44.00 silver.
- 3:26Isn't that what we're talking about for Christmas?
- 3:30Come on. Right.
- 3:31It's the Christmas season here. Let's go, Silver traders.
- 3:34Let's get that price up to $44.00 per oz.
- 3:38Here we go. This is interesting.
- 3:40The gold to silver ratio in the universe is 1 to one.
- 3:43I didn't know that. You know, to me, that was
- 3:45shocking. I didn't realize there's only as
- 3:48much gold and as silver in the universe.
- 3:51Now, you know, how do they really know?
- 3:53But you know, these scientists, because we all trust science,
- 3:57must have figured that one out. The available gold to silver is
- 4:01actually, they say below 1 to one mining might we hear this
- 4:06all the time, is at a 7 to one ratio.
- 4:09That means that for each one ounce of gold coming out of the
- 4:12ground, there's only 7 oz being mined.
- 4:15And it's so critical that we remember that of those 7 ounces
- 4:21of silver, unlike gold, most of the silver is now being consumed
- 4:26by industry. Solar panels, batteries, all
- 4:29that stuff. You know, that whole story.
- 4:31Price history for 5000 years, 1 to 15 to one.
- 4:35Earth's crust, 19 to one in the comex, 88 to one.
- 4:39And there's our friend the tinfoil hat monkey explaining it
- 4:45all. That must be that must be from
- 4:48one of the YouTube channels coming from the Comex or the
- 4:52LBMA. That's what we're dealing with
- 4:54right now, guys. That's the crazy messed up world
- 4:57that we are living in. It doesn't make any sense.
- 5:00Let's run out and take a a quick look and see what's going on at
- 5:03the gold and silver price. If you looked yet this morning,
- 5:07I OK, so we were, this is not updated.
- 5:11We were at $2640 last time we were together basement dwellers
- 5:16and checked silver was at $30.23.
- 5:20We're getting this little gold triangle that would be the
- 5:23Pembeck's magic button because as the years roll forward and we
- 5:27continue to press this button, those numbers will only go
- 5:30higher. And OK, gold's up $14.00, not
- 5:34bad. Silver up $0.38.
- 5:36Now this morning when we woke up, those prices were much
- 5:39higher. We'll talk about why they've
- 5:41dropped here in one second. But I do want to say thank you
- 5:44and mention to you also the channel sponsor Pimbex Pi MB EX
- 5:51Fun to spell, even funner to save money.
- 5:55When you buy gold, silver and platinum group metals, they
- 5:59always have a great selection of products.
- 6:01The same things that you're going to find the same exact
- 6:05things on the other big online bullion dealer websites, but
- 6:11you'll find something different at PMBEX.
- 6:13Their prices are ultra competitive.
- 6:16Look, a lot of times when I buy from PMBEX, I'll save at least a
- 6:20dollar, sometimes even $2.00 per oz per.
- 6:24And I buy a lot of sovereign coins, the South African Kruger
- 6:27ants or the, OR the, OR the UK Britannia as I bought and I'll
- 6:32save one or two dollars, not total, but per coin.
- 6:36So look, I'll never tell you what to do, but you may benefit.
- 6:40And I know that a lot of the basement dweller community has
- 6:43benefited because I've received overwhelmingly positive response
- 6:47from checking out Pembex. Let's go, let's check on the,
- 6:52let's do the, the updated gold to silver ratio.
- 6:55I promised you that. So we're going to divide 2652
- 6:59divided by $30.62. OK guys, here we go.
- 7:05Here we go. Let me get you back on the
- 7:07screen here. How's everybody doing this
- 7:09morning? Hope you had a good Thanksgiving
- 7:1286 to one. You just simply divide that gold
- 7:15price by the silver price and that'll tell you that if you
- 7:18want to get you want to trade these.
- 7:21I don't know why anybody would, but to each their own, right?
- 7:25I've made mistakes plenty in my life.
- 7:27You can ask Susie, if you want to trade these, come on, focus
- 7:32these American Silver Eagles for one ounce of gold.
- 7:36You're going to need 86 of these.
- 7:38You're going to need 4 tubes, 4/20/20 coin tubes plus probably
- 7:44another seven or eight of these to go to your local coin shop
- 7:47and say I want to trade silver for gold.
- 7:50To me, it's out of control. It just, it doesn't make any
- 7:54sense. Sense, especially when we look
- 7:56at history. I mean, come on man, 5000 years,
- 8:005000, I never really thought about that.
- 8:03We are at a big advantage being silver and gold investors
- 8:06because we're not, again, we're not talking about 50 years or
- 8:09500 years. We're talking about a 5000 year
- 8:12old market. Have you thought about this?
- 8:14Have you thought about that? Right?
- 8:17Do we need to do a review? Basement dwellers, I think we
- 8:21do. I need to review.
- 8:22I kind of forgotten about this. Gold and silver have been
- 8:26valuable for 5000 years. 3004 thousand.
- 8:30Whatever number you want to use. Hello.
- 8:33Right. And now they're trying to
- 8:34convince us that in the last couple 100 year are well, really
- 8:38since 1971, these things are valuable.
- 8:41Federal Reserve. No, Yeah.
- 8:44This is based on confidence. Confidence, right?
- 8:48Confidence. Yeah.
- 8:50No, 5000 years. And on top of that, just because
- 8:54we're slow learners and fast forgetters, you suffer from that
- 9:01ailment like I do. I'm a slow learner and a fast
- 9:04forgetter. Not only not only do we have
- 9:075000 years, but on top of that. But wait, there's more.
- 9:10There's more. I got a better deal for you on
- 9:12top of that. Not only all that time, but
- 9:16everywhere. Just like silver and gold, it
- 9:19permeated the crust of the Earth, right?
- 9:23They've also permeated every single corner of the Earth
- 9:28everywhere. Gold and silver are also
- 9:31valuable. You can't say that, Buttercup.
- 9:33You, you know, this is probably the most universally well, it is
- 9:36the most universally accepted piece of Unicorn fart dust on
- 9:40the in the universe. But you can't even say this.
- 9:43I can't if you let me ask you a question, if you had a choice,
- 9:48somebody, I came to you and I said I'm going to put you in a
- 9:51in a vessel, a nice vessel, but a vessel and you're going to
- 9:56you're going to instantly be transported somewhere on the
- 10:00planet. What would you rather have?
- 10:02Would you rather have, you know, 3030 thousand, 30,000 of these
- 10:08suckers or would you rather have man?
- 10:11My math is horrible 30,000 a thousand of these.
- 10:16I hope you said 1000 of these. That's all I can say because
- 10:21it's valuable everywhere. It's valuable in Kentucky.
- 10:26It's that you guys, you guys, I ask you all the time.
- 10:29I, I said, please put in the comments where you're from
- 10:32because it's so cool to see where all of us are coming from.
- 10:35Every corner of the planet where YouTube's allowed to be shown,
- 10:39right? That's a fact, right?
- 10:41So you're going to want the gold and silver.
- 10:43All right, we got a lot more to talk about.
- 10:47You know what though? Let's all have a quick sip of
- 10:49coffee. OK, let's do an update.
- 10:58What's going on? OK, well this is big news.
- 11:00We got a lot of big news, so well, here's why.
- 11:03Gold and silver. When I woke up this morning,
- 11:05silver was up 660 cents an ounce, $0.65 an ounce.
- 11:09Now it's up what, $0.30? What did we just say, $0.34,
- 11:12which is good. I'm not complaining.
- 11:14Why did it go down? Real simple.
- 11:16The Comex opened, it happens 73830 Central time where I am
- 11:23here in St. Louis, MO.
- 11:25It happens, right? That's when the price gets
- 11:28slammed down, right? So that's what's going on there.
- 11:31But we got big news in the dollar index.
- 11:34We're going to quickly go look at the DXY index because we are
- 11:39moving down, down, down. This has been a pretty big move,
- 11:43the DXY here guys, which you can see is the dollar index, OK,
- 11:50right there where my arrow is. Wow, It really took a dump this
- 11:55morning, but then kind of came back.
- 11:57But however, let's just look at A at A at a three month chart,
- 12:01which will show you that just a few days ago, the dollar gone up
- 12:05as high as one O 7.5 and now we're down to one O 6.
- 12:09These are massive moves, as a matter of fact, OK, the dollar
- 12:14at this point is heading into its biggest weekly loss in three
- 12:19months. The dollar index is.
- 12:21This is a bunch of bogus. You know, this is like comparing
- 12:25the best toilet paper in the bathroom, however you want to
- 12:27say it. You know, the dollar, the euro,
- 12:29the yen, I think the Swiss francs, some other stuff.
- 12:31But it does unfortunately still for now, when we're measuring
- 12:36the the value of silver and gold in dollars, if that's what we
- 12:39choose to do, maybe you're in Canada, you use Canadian
- 12:42dollars, maybe you're in Europe, use euro that whatever.
- 12:45But if we're going to measure the price of silver and gold, if
- 12:48we're going to make that mistake, which we all do all the
- 12:50time, right, that we're going to measure the value.
- 12:54And that's not the value, that's the price.
- 12:56I'm sorry I screwed up the price of gold and silver in U.S.
- 13:01dollars. The DXY index will have an
- 13:04impact as it continues to go down.
- 13:07It will be a very supportive factor for the gold and silver
- 13:11price. It's been a week.
- 13:12Let me show you this quickly because this is good news.
- 13:14You ready? This is massive good news for
- 13:17all gold and silver investors and I'm going to explain to you
- 13:21why right now, if I can, if I can see where my dollar, it is
- 13:25my dollar index chart and there we are.
- 13:28OK, we're on it, baby. OK, This is why for those of you
- 13:33who are new, but for those of us who aren't, we need some good
- 13:35news, right? We're in the holiday season.
- 13:38The reason why, guys, is this quite simply, OK, we're going to
- 13:42get the crayons out, all right? This is why you can be very
- 13:48happy about the fact that your United States currency is a
- 13:52bunch of toilet paper because between 2001 and 2011, during
- 13:57this period, where the where the dollar went down from what about
- 14:001, I don't know where it was maybe about 1/18, it got pretty
- 14:04high all the way down to 75. And during this period, silver
- 14:09went from this, can't do that, hold on here.
- 14:13Silver went, we won't give up. Silver went from this $5 per oz,
- 14:21look at that, getting good at this to this 50.
- 14:30They added a zero, $50 per oz during that period.
- 14:35Now we have President Donald Trump, who wants a weaker
- 14:40dollar, right? We are still historically very,
- 14:45very high on this chart. I'm sorry for those of you
- 14:48who've seen this before, but this is this is like, oh, I'm
- 14:52going to use a word that starts with the letter P, but I won't,
- 14:56we won't. OK.
- 14:57Look, you know where we are right now, We've only been above
- 15:00it for a few years. And on top of that, right,
- 15:04Donald Trump in just the fiscal situation of our country, right,
- 15:08all indicate to us that we're going to get another one of
- 15:12these in the dollar. And it's not just in that
- 15:15comparison mode that we're talking about because guys, the
- 15:18reality is compared to 2001 when silver went from $5 to $50,
- 15:25think about this, right? Two big major factors that will
- 15:29add even more rocket fuel to the price of gold and the price of
- 15:33silver in the coming decade. OK, We've got massive
- 15:37geopolitical uncertainty. Wait till you hear scary
- 15:41developments in the Ukraine. We'll talk about that in a
- 15:43second. But on top of that, we are in a
- 15:46fiscal situation in this country that is just abdominable me look
- 15:53for I have a list of other. It's incredulous.
- 15:56You'll be dumbfounded, right? This is way different here.
- 15:59Let's just go back. This will be interesting.
- 16:01We're going to go on The Time Machine.
- 16:03Here's the US debt clock. Let's go over here and look at
- 16:08the United States debt. But OK, 36 trillion.
- 16:12But if we go into The Time Machine and we go back to the
- 16:15year 2000 when this bull market in gold and silver took off,
- 16:21when silver went from $5 to $50, look at how different things
- 16:25were then. We had a $5 trillion national
- 16:28debt. Are you kidding me?
- 16:30I didn't realize it was that. Oh, my gosh, that's absolutely
- 16:34crazy. Right now we have a $36 trillion
- 16:38national debt in in the year 2000.
- 16:40We did not have world wars breaking out.
- 16:43Right now. A lot of people say a lot of
- 16:46people are talking about the fact that we're in, you know, I
- 16:50hate to even say it, but WW3, right?
- 16:53I mean, it's not, it's a, it's a scary situation.
- 16:56Since we're here, let's just go check right here.
- 16:59See the yellow arrow? It's circling.
- 17:02It's circling just like the dollar is circling the drain.
- 17:06I'm not saying the dollar's going to go away during my
- 17:08lifetime or whatever. Who knows?
- 17:10You never do know. But I think it's easy to say
- 17:13that based upon the laws of my Texas Instruments calculator,
- 17:17the dollar's in big trouble. The dollar to silver ratio has
- 17:21reached yet another new recent high 1037, which means that for
- 17:28each one ounce of silver being dug up out of the ground, the
- 17:32toil that people are putting in right That's it's a big work to
- 17:36get silver out of the ground. None of us can do it ourselves,
- 17:39right? We can raise chickens, we can
- 17:41grow crops, we can do a lot of things, but I don't think any of
- 17:45us listening right now think about that can go out today.
- 17:49If I told you today you need to go generate an ounce of silver,
- 17:54but it has to be silver that's in the ground.
- 17:56I don't know that any of us can do it.
- 17:58But for each one of those oz that probably in Mexico or Peru,
- 18:02somewhere like that is being dug up today.
- 18:04The United States government, our, our trusted leaders in
- 18:08Washington DC are creating 1037 dollars of paper Unicorn fart
- 18:14dust dollars, paper dollars right via the M2 money supply,
- 18:19which if we go over here, we can take a quick look at then we're
- 18:23going to update our spreadsheet. There's the M2 money supply.
- 18:26It's only what, 21 trillion? And if you look back again, this
- 18:33is really relates to the debt levels, we were only at under 5
- 18:36trillion in the year 2000. All right, let's go update our
- 18:40spreadsheet. Here we go.
- 18:41We've been for those of you new people, we got a lot of people
- 18:45joining us here in the basement. This is where we've been
- 18:47tracking the dollar to silver ratio, the paper dollars being
- 18:51created. And again, if we go back just to
- 18:53a little over a month ago, we were only at 729, which alone
- 18:58was astounding. But now we've jumped up all the
- 19:01way, gosh, almost by 400 additional dollars just in a
- 19:06month, 400 additional dollars being created for each one ounce
- 19:12of silver coming out of the ground.
- 19:15This is big, right? I'm not saying that the silver
- 19:18price should be 1037, but just that idea for each one ounce,
- 19:23right? This stuff here, you know, let's
- 19:25look at something different. This came from Big 10 to
- 19:28Silvershire, one of my favorite. This is beautiful.
- 19:31I'd like a whole lot of these, but one's enough, right?
- 19:34Look at that. Isn't that beautiful 1 oz for
- 19:36each one of these, over 1036 thousand 37 of these are being
- 19:44created. And don't forget, just since
- 19:46we're showing, doing show and tell, this is the way it used to
- 19:50be back in the good old days, right?
- 19:53And then some damn fool invents the wheel.
- 19:56Listen to the white wall squeal, right?
- 19:58It won't focus. It's dry.
- 20:00There it is. Silver certificate.
- 20:04This was back in the 30s, right? Some of you guys might remember
- 20:08that this was redeemable for silver.
- 20:10All right, we're all over the place.
- 20:14So the dollar's going down. Look, here's the scary situation
- 20:17there is. There's one thing that as silver
- 20:20and gold investors we always have to keep a close eye on.
- 20:23That's uncertainty. And what breeds uncertainty more
- 20:26than anything else. War.
- 20:29OK, we are in a war right now. Some people say we're in World
- 20:33War three. There's, there's a big reason
- 20:35why we want to keep an eye on war 'cause when countries are at
- 20:39war with each other, they don't trust each other, right?
- 20:42And they don't want to hold each other's Unicorn fart dust paper
- 20:46money because of all the uncertainty.
- 20:49The uncertainty about what's going to happen, what'll be the
- 20:52final outcome, the uncertainty about who will be the new
- 20:55leader. Will it be worth anything?
- 20:57People want gold during World War 2, right?
- 21:01This is what I've been told and what I've read.
- 21:03In World War 1, the United States was a massive
- 21:07manufacturing company. And when the European country
- 21:10said, hey, we want to buy stuff from you to help with our war
- 21:14efforts, we said, hey, that's great guys.
- 21:16We like that idea, right? We like business.
- 21:19But we got one thing, one catch. And the catch is you got to pay
- 21:23us with gold. Think about it and think about
- 21:28what's going on right now, Ma. Let's go see.
- 21:30This is getting scary escalations in the world.
- 21:34We are in a geopolitical channel.
- 21:36But we will keep an eye on this because this will create an
- 21:41environment conducive for the gold and silver advise.
- 21:45Vladimir Putin threatens the Ukrainian capital with his new
- 21:51hypersonic missile. Let's repeat that.
- 21:56The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, threatens the
- 22:01Ukrainian capital with a new hypersonic missile.
- 22:07OK, this is crazy, guys. And it's getting worse in the
- 22:11United States. I'm sorry, is, is, is, is is
- 22:15almost stocking the situation. In some ways it feels like right
- 22:18now there's another day, another record setting Russian missile
- 22:22and drone attack on Ukraine at a moment the West is escalating
- 22:26it's support to Kia. We're going to look at that
- 22:28briefly here in a second. Putin announced to security
- 22:31officials at their Security Treaty Organization summit that
- 22:36100 drones and 90 missiles were launched at Ukraine over the
- 22:41last 48 hours quote in response to deep strikes inside Russia.
- 22:51Next. It gets better, worse.
- 22:53However you want to say these have included attacks with US
- 22:56and UK supplied long range missiles.
- 22:58Yes, we are giving missiles. We are giving technology, we are
- 23:02giving intelligence to the Ukrainians to strike inside
- 23:07Russia, as you probably already knew, which Russia has
- 23:09acknowledged killed and wounded some people in the cursed
- 23:12region, OK, he said. We carried out a comprehensive
- 23:15strike. Putin said it was, this was
- 23:18yesterday. It was a response to ongoing
- 23:20attacks on our territory using US supplied at a Atacam's
- 23:26missiles. He further warned that the
- 23:29Russian Russian military is actively monitoring the
- 23:32locations of Ukrainian Ukraine's long range weapons to determine
- 23:37where they are and issued a fresh warning over his new
- 23:41Orschnik ballistic missile that nothing can stop, he said.
- 23:45He warned that more of these Orschnik deployments would be
- 23:48necessary if Ukraine continues its attacks on Russian
- 23:52territory. Importantly, he said that this
- 23:54advanced weapon for which there is no defense, there's no
- 23:59defense to this. OK.
- 24:01I don't know if you saw the videos of it coming out of the
- 24:03sky. It's like science fiction.
- 24:06It's crazy. Will quote target decision
- 24:09making centers in Kia. The Russian leader boasted that
- 24:13the missile can turn targets into dust and that the multiple
- 24:17launches of the hypersonic hypersonic weapon could be,
- 24:21quote, comparable to a nuclear strike.
- 24:24Oh my gosh, is this really happening?
- 24:28He described it could reach speeds of around 3000 kilometers
- 24:31per second. Oh boy, and unleash temperatures
- 24:35and energy like the surface of the sun upon impact.
- 24:40Now, all of this is what is going on in our world right now
- 24:44guys. Again, the reason why we want to
- 24:48monitor these situations, right? We are not in favor of any of
- 24:51this happening is because it will be a reason why you and I
- 24:58already know the reason, but more people will likely as
- 25:02uncertainty goes up in the world, uncertainty on a
- 25:05geopolitical war level, but not only that, uncertainty on an
- 25:11economic level and this is all feeds into each other will will
- 25:15generate more and more people who get scared right now.
- 25:19You know what it's like to be scared.
- 25:22I know what it's like to be scared, right?
- 25:24We're scared because we're doing the work.
- 25:27We're digging into what's really going on in the world.
- 25:31But as more people are forced to recognize what a lot of us
- 25:34probably already know, they'll get scared and they'll want to
- 25:38get on the gold and silver lifeboat.
- 25:40But guess what, Buttercup? There's only so much room on the
- 25:43gold and silver lifeboat. That's represented by the
- 25:45available inventory of investment grade retail,
- 25:50investment grade silver and gold that's at the online bullion
- 25:53dealers, like what Pembacs has on the other, and at your local
- 25:56coin shop. It's a very small amount of
- 26:00silver in particular, right? And when it's gone, it's gone.
- 26:04Have we ever seen it go bye bye? You ever you ever have you ever
- 26:07experienced what it's like when silver becomes very difficult
- 26:11than I have twice in the last five years, five years.
- 26:18I just that just hit me in the last five years.
- 26:22I remember C19, right? It became very difficult to get
- 26:26silver. You've heard me tell the story a
- 26:28zillion times. I sat right over there at my
- 26:30desk on a Saturday. It was the Saturday after it all
- 26:34blew up on the C 19 and I bought some silver a lot.
- 26:38For me, it was a bit was one great purchase that I made.
- 26:40And guess what? It took like six weeks for it to
- 26:43come. And then after that, silver was
- 26:45very difficult to find. And remember what happened
- 26:47during the little banking crisis, just what 18 months ago
- 26:51when, when the, when the premiums on American silver
- 26:53Eagles, right? Silver was like $25 per oz.
- 26:57But to get a silver Eagle, you had to pay $50 per oz.
- 27:01So yes, these things absolutely do happen.
- 27:05And we're not making it any better because look at this,
- 27:07we're going to spend much time on this one, guys, but we want
- 27:10to just just to show you what's going on.
- 27:12This is from Reuters. This was 2 days ago, exclusive
- 27:17President Joe Biden, we know he's anyway readies a $725
- 27:24million arms aid package for Ukraine.
- 27:28So that's what sources say, what we're going to say so they can
- 27:31escalate this war situation. You see what we got down here.
- 27:34We read this real quickly. U.S.
- 27:36President Joe Biden is preparing 720 weapons package for Ukraine,
- 27:42two US officials said on Wednesday.
- 27:45The outgoing president seeks to bolster the government in Kiev
- 27:48before leaving office in January, according to an
- 27:51official familiar with the plan. Biden plans to provide a variety
- 27:54of anti tank weapons from U.S. stocks to blunt Russia's
- 27:58advancing troops, including landmines, drones, Stinger
- 28:01missiles and ammunition for high, high Mars.
- 28:05So apparently, let's just say, let's just say what you know,
- 28:10I'll just say it out loud. Apparently Russia is winning in
- 28:15Ukraine. You know, the whole situation.
- 28:18It's just it's, it's, it's, it's a situation that is a silver and
- 28:21gold investor. It is critical that we that we
- 28:25keep a very close eye on it. the Fed was laughing at you.
- 28:30How does that make you feel? Hold on a second.
- 28:33We don't know how much longer we're going to have him around,
- 28:37OK, But he was laughing at you. Actually he wasn't there
- 28:40apparently, but the Fed listen to this.
- 28:44OK. Were they, were they laughing at
- 28:47you and me though? Or were they laughing at the
- 28:52sheep ball? You be the judge.
- 28:54You be the judge. I listened to Judy Shelton,
- 28:57right? You know Judy Shelton, right?
- 28:59She's the gold bug. Trump tried to put her on the
- 29:02Fed. I was listening to her last
- 29:04night and she talked about notes from a meeting that happened in
- 29:081996. And this was when they
- 29:10determined around 1996, the Fed determined that they would have
- 29:15a 2% target for inflation. OK.
- 29:18And then as they were talking, basically they, they sought,
- 29:23they all started laughing because they were like, should
- 29:26we have 0% inflation or 2% inflation?
- 29:30And then somebody said, well, if we don't, if we have 2%
- 29:34inflation, what we can do is make sure everybody gets a 1%
- 29:38raise, which they'll be happy about, but they won't realize
- 29:42that we're still stealing from them because inflation will be
- 29:46higher than their raise. And they all started laughing.
- 29:50OK, apparently. Well, that was when Alan
- 29:52Greenspan was the head of the Federal Reserve.
- 29:55And even our old friend Janet Yellen at the time was not the
- 30:00head of the of the Fed, but she was like a governor, like a
- 30:03local governor or something. Apparently they all laughed.
- 30:06They all thought it was funny that that the, that the, the
- 30:10sheep all or like Goldman Sachs likes to call us The Muppets,
- 30:14right? Weren't smart enough to realize
- 30:17right, that if you give that if you give them a 1% raise, but
- 30:22you keep inflation above that right, that they're getting a
- 30:26screw job. OK, They they thought that was
- 30:29funny and they thought oh, we're because we're so smart, right?
- 30:32The average people won't get it. But think about this think about
- 30:35this. People are waking up.
- 30:39Are you woke up? Congratulations.
- 30:41Wakey, wakey, right, Wakey, wakey, good morning.
- 30:45You woke up at some point you realize like this stuff, make
- 30:49sure I got the right one. This stuff right under the best
- 30:53case of scenarios is going to go down by 2% your raise at work,
- 30:59right? Unless you work for yourself and
- 31:01set your own prices. But none the less isn't going to
- 31:03keep up. And guess what?
- 31:05Unions are realizing this. We saw what the UPS drivers did.
- 31:11So they're laughing at us, right?
- 31:12And that's their intention to devalue the dollar.
- 31:17How do we protect ourselves from a dollar?
- 31:20I mean, are you kidding me? Do you?
- 31:22I want you to look at this. Do you really think in in 10
- 31:27years, in 50 years that what this buys today?
- 31:32Think about what you can buy with that.
- 31:34You can't even get a Mcchicken at McDonald's anymore.
- 31:37That really bummed me out. I used to like the $1.00 mix,
- 31:39but that's a great example. You know what?
- 31:42Five years ago, I could buy a Mcchicken sandwich with this.
- 31:47You can't buy a Mcchicken with this anymore.
- 31:49Now you need two of these to buy a damn Mcchicken sandwich.
- 31:52That's where we're heading, right?
- 31:54But I guarantee you, right? Yeah, I could probably buy
- 32:00whatever you could buy with this 10 years ago.
- 32:03You can probably still buy today.
- 32:05All right, I digress. We got a lot more to go through.
- 32:11Is Europe going on the gold standard?
- 32:13Is Europe going on the gold standard?
- 32:17Is the world going back to the gold standard?
- 32:19I just want to point out a couple very quick things that
- 32:22indicate that the popularity of gold and silver are percolating
- 32:28and rising throughout the world right now.
- 32:32Guys, it's not just us, right? Think about the Costco dads,
- 32:36right? Costco, it's a big deal.
- 32:39They're selling gold, right? They were selling, I don't know,
- 32:41I haven't got an update on silver, but they were and
- 32:43probably still are selling silver right now.
- 32:47Costco. Costco let's.
- 32:51Have a quick drink, drink, drink.
- 32:52A coffee. I really appreciate you guys
- 32:54being here. Thank you.
- 33:01Over 500 people. Sorry, I'm losing my voice. 500
- 33:09people the day after Thanksgiving.
- 33:11I almost forgot. Thank you.
- 33:13OK. If you want to come join us.
- 33:16It's a big honor, right? What we talked about is gold and
- 33:20silver. You can subscribe to the
- 33:22channel. You can leave comments.
- 33:23You can make great friends. We're going to do our best
- 33:26together together, right, to navigate these choppy water.
- 33:31So please consider subscribing. Super chat, super thanks.
- 33:33Always super appreciated. Oh, and if you give this a
- 33:36thumbs up, that helps get the word out to more people.
- 33:38Why would it be a big deal if Europe's going on the Gold
- 33:41Center? Why is it a big deal that Costco
- 33:45just take a step back? Imagine if three years ago we'd
- 33:49said to each other right when we first started meeting down here
- 33:52in the basement guys, that Costco is going to be selling
- 33:55gold and it's going to be selling like crazy.
- 33:58OK. Now we're getting other, other
- 34:01these and we're going to touch on these quickly because we've
- 34:03talked about them a lot the last few months, but we got Texas,
- 34:07Texas, Texas is right, has bills, has has legislation
- 34:15pending right that would establish 100% gold and silver
- 34:20back transactional currency. We've got things like this
- 34:23wisdom tree, right? The big financial company is, is
- 34:28has has put this out the power of gold in the palm of your
- 34:31hand, a 100% backed gold solution, 100 physical, right,
- 34:38backed by one hundred 100% physical metal, right that you
- 34:42can use with a Visa card. I mean, and then and then we get
- 34:46this. This is crazy.
- 34:50Right, we we have. Some real interesting develops
- 34:53in Europe is finalizing preparations for a gold
- 34:57standard. OK, this came from the Money
- 34:59Metals Exchange. Jan Newenhoose, this guy's
- 35:03smart. We're just going to read a
- 35:04couple paragraphs and look at a couple crazy charts.
- 35:07Countries outside of the eurozone zone but inside the EU.
- 35:12Those that one day might join the EU, like Poland, Hungary and
- 35:15the Czech Republic, are positioning for a new gold
- 35:19standard. We're getting all these news
- 35:21reports coming out. Poland, right, massively
- 35:24increasing their gold reserves, right.
- 35:27The Czech Republic, hungry, same thing, OK, to prepare for a
- 35:32monetary system based on gold, They are buying gold to equalize
- 35:38their reserves to the eurozone average.
- 35:41This is fascinating, guys. And we've heard this talked
- 35:44about over the last couple years, but this I think really
- 35:48sums it up. And we got a couple charts I'm
- 35:49going to look at here with you in a second.
- 35:51This balancing of gold deserves in Europe is a key topic I've
- 35:56written about extensively. So basically I'm going to look
- 35:59you in the eye here and then we're going to look at these
- 36:01charts, what they're doing in the Europe, in Europe, OK.
- 36:05When you look at at the size of the economies of the individual
- 36:10European countries, Germany, France, Italy, for instance,
- 36:14they hold about 4% of their GDP, whatever their GDP is, they have
- 36:20about 4% of that number held in physical gold reserves.
- 36:26It's very representative to the size of their economies and
- 36:30smart people. And then you hear things like
- 36:32with the Dutch central banker said like these these, these
- 36:37people there, there are is a little secret.
- 36:39There's some people out there who think that the Europeans,
- 36:43why else would they be doing this, right?
- 36:45Why else would they be doing this?
- 36:47Because look at these charts, right?
- 36:49The charts don't lie. The charts absolutely do not
- 36:52lie. Let's go down to this first.
- 36:55One well, this is just interesting to look at the
- 36:57official gold reserves by region.
- 37:01This is this is not this is a little bit of a sideshow little
- 37:04sidekick, but look at this back from 1950.
- 37:09Blue is Western Europe, orange is the United States of America,
- 37:13and green is the rest of the world.
- 37:15Remember the US, right? We were backing the world's
- 37:18currencies with gold and we just went down, down, down, down.
- 37:21And now supposedly we're about here at 8000 metric tons.
- 37:26Think about this, guys. This is Western Europe.
- 37:29This was after World War 2. They just been through a war
- 37:32like we talked about earlier. They were like, hey, guys, get
- 37:36your hands on as much gold as you possibly can.
- 37:39And look at how their gold reserves shot up, right?
- 37:42And they dropped a little bit. And then around the mid 90s,
- 37:44they dropped a little more. But still, these Western
- 37:47European countries are holding collectively much more gold than
- 37:51the United States. And what's equally astounding is
- 37:55the green line, which is the rest of the world.
- 37:57That'd be like China, the bricks countries.
- 38:01The green is the bricks. Nobody talks about the bricks
- 38:03anymore. I will.
- 38:06Right here's the BRICS countries, right?
- 38:08This is not that long ago. If we just go back, what about
- 38:1115 years ago, the amount of gold held by the rest of the world or
- 38:17the BRICS countries has gone from about, it's doubled,
- 38:20absolutely doubled. Now, if we zoom back in on
- 38:24Europe, this is interesting. Here we go, Eurozone country.
- 38:31Gold reserves versus GDP. OK, so here's metric tons of
- 38:35gold. On the bottom are all the
- 38:38countries listed out all right, And this is probably this is
- 38:43probably their GD PS over here, but OK, the gold shaded area is
- 38:49their gold reserves October very recent data.
- 38:52The dark area is their GDP, right?
- 38:56And look at how similar, I mean, you look at Austria, Belgium,
- 39:00but then look at France, right? France almost perfectly has a
- 39:05representative amount of gold relative to their GDP.
- 39:09And I think that's about 4%, somewhere in that range, right?
- 39:12Look at Germany, same thing. That's the biggest economy in
- 39:16the Eurozone. Look at Italy, right?
- 39:19They're a little short. They're actually, they've got a
- 39:21little more gold from a ratio perspective than they do their
- 39:26GDP. Look at the Netherlands right
- 39:30there, a little bit short. Spain is the only outlier.
- 39:33So guys, this idea that we could be heading back towards a gold
- 39:37standard in the world is real and happening, OK?
- 39:41It's not just the Costco dads. It's not just Texas, it's not
- 39:46just all these companies, including Wisdom Tree that are
- 39:50that are that are that are inventing and and putting out a
- 39:55real world 100% gold back solutions to make gold and
- 39:59silver more functional. It's also Europe.
- 40:02It's all and it's obviously going on.
- 40:06In the rest of the world, outside of the United States and
- 40:09Europe, right, the Eastern world, right, we can see where
- 40:12their gold holdings are going. This is, I think, real.
- 40:15And I think it's something that's going to happen.
- 40:19OK, that, you know, And then we have Judy Shelton, right, who
- 40:23Trump tried to put on the Fed last time he was president,
- 40:26who's got a new groundbreaking book out getting all kinds of
- 40:29attention. If they put Judy Shelton, Oh my
- 40:32gosh. And there's even more.
- 40:34They put Judy Shelton on the Fed.
- 40:36Hold on. I got a zinger, a zinger, a
- 40:37kicker for you here, right? And she gets her her wish, which
- 40:41is at minimum that we have U.S. Treasury bonds backed by gold.
- 40:46That could be huge and maybe even more.
- 40:49But then it gets even more exciting because remember,
- 40:53remember this person. Hold on, I'll be right back.
- 40:55Don't leave. Remember her?
- 41:01Where is she? We can't feed her.
- 41:06Remember her? Janet Yellen, right?
- 41:09The one who, when she was on the Fed Board of Governors, laughed
- 41:12at us because we weren't smart enough to realize that inflation
- 41:16is stealing from you, Huh. And then she became the head of
- 41:20the Federal Reserve, and then she became the Treasury
- 41:25Secretary. Hi, everybody.
- 41:28Well, guess what? She's going bye, bye.
- 41:32What? To get a new box because the new
- 41:34Treasury Secretary, Scott percent, a billionaire.
- 41:38Donald Trump proposed new Secretary Scott Percent, a
- 41:42billionaire. There's so much this is.
- 41:47Crazy. OK, just like 3 1/2 weeks ago
- 41:51was on a podcast and said, as I've already told you 8 times,
- 41:54but I'll keep repeating this 'cause I think it's the biggest
- 41:56story for gold and silver investors that nobody's talking
- 41:59about. The reason why is he's on this
- 42:01podcast, the Billionaire's Podcast, and he discloses that
- 42:07his largest single investment is gold.
- 42:12Remember, he's the person who's going to be heading our Treasury
- 42:15Department, his personal largest investment, his largest holding.
- 42:20As he said, it is gold, that he watches gold very closely, that
- 42:24he's fascinated by the fact that the Polish central bank is
- 42:29buying gold and now in the Polish central bank said they
- 42:32want to go up to 20%. But it gets even more
- 42:34interesting when you realize that Scott percent, he worked
- 42:37with George Soros. And on top of that, what Stanley
- 42:42Druckenmiller, some other people know the other guy, Jim Rogers,
- 42:47right? He was a close associate of Jim
- 42:49Rogers. You know, Jimmy Rogers, right?
- 42:52You may, if you're around the golden silver.
- 42:53He's like one of the gurus. I mean, like the gurus.
- 42:58Jim Rogers loves gold and silver.
- 43:00Look it up. OK, Stanley Druckenmiller, I
- 43:04know speaks very favorably about gold.
- 43:08Stanley Druckenmiller, if I, and I believe I, I remember this
- 43:12correctly, has major investments in the gold mining companies.
- 43:16Guys, it's happening. It's a big deal.
- 43:19You know it's, it's going to be a big deal.
- 43:20Let's go to a subscriber comment, one of you, right?
- 43:24I always encourage you guys leave comments.
- 43:26We read them. This one I thought was a real
- 43:29humdinger. This is this is the reason why,
- 43:33right? You, you've made a decision to
- 43:35own silver, to own gold, right? Here's the reason why I thought
- 43:38this was outstanding and I want to read this to you.
- 43:42This came from our friend Super Apex 2128.
- 43:46He said, by the way, the very definition this is oh, hold on.
- 43:50I need to preface this. This is when we're talking about
- 43:53price versus value. OK?
- 43:55So when we look at this, let's use this one.
- 43:59When we look at silver, so heavy, it's hard to pick up
- 44:03sometimes. When we look at this, right?
- 44:05When you look at, I want you to look at an ounce of silver.
- 44:08We make this mistake like we talked about earlier, thinking
- 44:11this is worth $30 or whatever and we will update the silver
- 44:14and gold price here in a second thinking it's about that we
- 44:17think about price in dollars. Big mistake.
- 44:20We need to think about this in terms of Oz.
- 44:23What will it get us? Right now, I'll get you about 8
- 44:26cartoons of eggs or eight cups of coffee at Starbucks.
- 44:30Whatever the case may be. We make that mistake to think of
- 44:34price versus value, right? And it's real easy, right?
- 44:38They talk to anybody in the crypto world that they love
- 44:41price. That's all they talk about is
- 44:42price, price, price, price. Why do you own Bitcoin?
- 44:45Because it just goes up. I don't even know.
- 44:47Did it hit 100,000 today yet? Who knows, right?
- 44:50Yeah, I just buy it because it goes up.
- 44:52Why do you buy Apple stock? Because it just goes up, right,
- 44:55right, right. That's the emotion value.
- 44:58Understanding value takes work. And I want to congratulate you
- 45:02because if you own gold and silver, you put in the work, why
- 45:07is this valuable? You know the reasons why, You
- 45:09know the fundamental reasons why that's value.
- 45:14And guys, the reason why fundamentals are important is
- 45:19because fundamentals always, always, always win.
- 45:25Always. Throughout history, fundamental
- 45:28value always wins. Oh, and by the way, any other
- 45:31form of money ever created by man?
- 45:34Synthetic money, paper money, electronic money.
- 45:37OK, up till now then maybe, maybe things are different.
- 45:44I don't think so, but up. Till now any form of synthetic
- 45:47man made money has failed. Let's get back to this comment.
- 45:51You guys want to hear from a fellow?
- 45:53Basement Dweller Enough, Enough of Ron.
- 45:55By the way, he says the very definition of a bargain is
- 46:00something which is mispriced by the market relative to its true
- 46:05value. Does that make you think of
- 46:07silver in particular right now? Right.
- 46:10Something that's mispriced by the market relative to its true
- 46:12value. Indeed, price does not equal
- 46:15value and vice versa. OK, The price does not equal
- 46:21value. At this point, precious metal
- 46:23quote UN quote speculators are very much in the position of the
- 46:271st man who discovered money as we know it.
- 46:29Back in his day, nobody realized the value of money, so the price
- 46:33of gold was far less than what it became when everybody
- 46:37realized that it was the best possible means of exchange.
- 46:40The market has yet to wake up to the long forgotten value of
- 46:45precious metals and when it does, the price of precious
- 46:48metals will reflect their true value once again.
- 46:53I mean, what a great and you know what, think about this,
- 46:57right? What a great comment, right?
- 46:58Price does not equal value. We know that, you know that.
- 47:03We're in for a good ride. I want to say thanks to the Jake
- 47:05from Jake's Custom Parts, Annie Oakley, the one and only and our
