Speaking of which, are we learning something home-related today? Lucas: Exactly right. We're going to learn some furniture words in Telugu. Things you use every day: table, chair, and bed. Luna: Oh, that's useful. I definitely use all three of those daily. Lucas: Let's start with table. In Telugu, table is బల్ల. Say it with me: బల్ల. Luna: బల్ల. Lucas: Good. Now chair is కుర్చీ. Repeat: కుర్చీ. Luna: కుర్చీ. Lucas: And bed is మంచం. Say it: మంచం. Luna: మంచం. That one feels a bit easier. Lucas: Yeah, మంచం has a nice rhythm. Now let's put them in simple sentences. To say 'This is a table', you say ఇది బల్ల. Try it. Luna: ఇది బల్ల. Lucas: Perfect. Now 'This is a chair' — ఇది కుర్చీ. Luna: ఇది కుర్చీ. Lucas: And 'This is a bed' — ఇది మంచం. Luna: ఇది మంచం. Pretend you're at home and you want to tell me where you are. Say 'I am on the bed' in Telugu. Luna: Uh... నేను మంచం మీద ఉన్నాను? Lucas: Excellent! You remembered from previous episodes! Yes, 'I am on the bed' is నేను మంచం మీద ఉన్నాను. You used the word మంచం correctly. Luna: Awesome! Okay, so if I'm sitting on a chair, I'd say నేను కుర్చీ మీద ఉన్నాను? Lucas: That's it!
