- 3:01Speaker 3: us a little bit about yourself, Miss Robinson.
- 3:04Speaker 5: Most definitely why I am Ms Robinson. I see hell everybody, I'm.
- 3:09Speaker 2: The original m Z Hustle, native hustball of am a
- 3:13Speaker 2: native born and bred.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Mother to fur baby Lola and daughter Dran Shirley. And
- 3:22Speaker 5: I'm just I'm a country girl with city swag. That's
- 3:25Speaker 5: That's the best way I can describe it. I love books,
- 3:28Speaker 5: I love good people, I love to write. I love
- 3:31Speaker 5: just trying to make a difference. So that's me in
- 3:33Speaker 5: a nutshell.
- 3:36Speaker 2: And all.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Now people say country and maybe playing country.
- 3:45Speaker 2: What do you mean by country?
- 3:48Speaker 5: Country girl, I'm talking about seven cooking. I'm talking about
- 3:54Speaker 5: get out in the dirt, don't care. I'm I'm a
- 3:57Speaker 5: country girl, dirt dirt, playing in the dirt fields.
- 4:01Speaker 2: That country, that cutry.
- 4:06Speaker 3: We talking about city, I'm a city girl, y'all. I
- 4:09Speaker 3: saw my great grandma kill a chicken with her hand.
- 4:13Speaker 2: That was it, no more, no more.
- 4:19Speaker 4: For me and my cool workers was talking about chicken back.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Have you ever eaten chicken back? I have?
- 4:30Speaker 5: The very first time was actually about two weeks ago.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Two We was like and I was like, what is
- 4:35Speaker 5: the chicken bag? And my mom was like, baby, she said,
- 4:38Speaker 5: normally we just cut that part. She said, it's the
- 4:40Speaker 5: back of a chicken. And I was like, okay, back
- 4:43Speaker 5: of the chicken.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I get it.
- 4:45Speaker 5: But yeah, for the first time, like two weeks ago,
- 4:49Speaker 5: I actually had chicken bag.
- 4:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:52Speaker 2: My coolworkers. She we were.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Talking about black cars and day at work, y'all.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Me and my coworkers.
- 4:59Speaker 4: It is nothing but family. And she said, girl, yeah, trees,
- 5:02Speaker 4: you know about that chicken back.
- 5:04Speaker 2: This is me.
- 5:05Speaker 3: What is the chicken back? She said, You've never had
- 5:08Speaker 3: chicken back to me the person that I am in
- 5:13Speaker 3: the reference person. So I'm literally on the computer googling
- 5:18Speaker 3: chicken back. I said, hold up, you literally talked about this.
- 5:25Speaker 2: She said a spine.
- 5:28Speaker 4: That's a girl.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I barely eat the breasts.
- 5:33Speaker 3: She's like, it's just like rams, I said, IM gonna
- 5:38Speaker 3: ask somebody else to So now it's official. Chicken back
- 5:43Speaker 3: is a new thing. You got all the chicken I
- 5:51Speaker 3: remember me this book and from the little s nasis,
- 5:58Speaker 3: I haven't read at you guys yet, so I'm like you,
- 6:03Speaker 3: I'm on hands and pins and needles and things because
- 6:08Speaker 3: I'm ready.
- 6:09Speaker 4: For this book to drum.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Okay, but from the little subynopsis that I've read this
- 6:17Speaker 3: is a book that we ladies need.
- 6:20Speaker 4: And it brings it to me.
- 6:22Speaker 2: The little bit that I read.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I know it says I remember me, but it's bringing
- 6:27Speaker 3: back that sisterhood. Yes, so how about you tell us
- 6:33Speaker 3: a little bit about your.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Yes, so I remember me?
- 6:40Speaker 5: Is this is It's about remembering who we were before
- 6:45Speaker 5: we became mothers, before we became wives, when we were
- 6:49Speaker 5: just dreamers, you know, and we were just focused on dreaming.
- 6:54Speaker 5: It's about who we were before people started telling us
- 6:57Speaker 5: who we who thought we should be. And it also
- 7:00Speaker 5: brings three women from similar similar issues or problems with
- 7:05Speaker 5: different backgrounds, Holly, Simone and a Laura. It brings them together.
- 7:09Speaker 5: When they come together, they formed the sisterhood and they
- 7:13Speaker 5: start to kind of it's like kind of poetic love letters.
- 7:16Speaker 2: It's not poetry, but in the book they have a
- 7:19Speaker 2: moment where they write.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Love letters to themselves, you know, just reminding themselves of
- 7:24Speaker 5: who they were. And it's about Bondie and it's also
- 7:27Speaker 5: because you know, I love you a good romance and
- 7:31Speaker 5: also has some fine men in this book who love
- 7:34Speaker 5: women and see us like see us, you know, to
- 7:38Speaker 5: their souls.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I remember me.
- 7:40Speaker 5: It's both this empowerment, sisterhood, love all in one. But
- 7:46Speaker 5: it's just getting back to self love. I think we
- 7:49Speaker 5: tend to we get so caught up in day to
- 7:52Speaker 5: day life that you know, we're just pouring into everybody else,
- 7:55Speaker 5: pouring in and porn in, pouring in, and to the poem,
- 7:58Speaker 5: we're almost you know, almost. So this is about remembering
- 8:02Speaker 5: to poor, to yourself, you know, and just self love.
- 8:07Speaker 4: And with that, I have to met.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I'm in going and going and going and going.
- 8:14Speaker 3: For about since January with my baby girl. My cousin
- 8:21Speaker 3: did a Gallantine's Day, and I have to meet. That
- 8:24Speaker 3: was the first time I was.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Out in a long time. But it felt so good right.
- 8:33Speaker 3: And even though I wasn't just alone by myself, but
- 8:36Speaker 3: I was with cousins and families.
- 8:39Speaker 4: It was a time that it was just about.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Me, Not me the librarian, not me the book reviewer,
- 8:47Speaker 3: not me the mommy.
- 8:48Speaker 2: It was just plain Patrice exactly.
- 8:54Speaker 3: So why do you feel that it's so important for
- 8:57Speaker 3: us to get back there.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I think it's important because.
- 9:03Speaker 5: I have the saying I said at the bottom of
- 9:05Speaker 5: the totem pole.
- 9:07Speaker 2: We are there, were.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Created to be, Then we can we can help other
- 9:29Speaker 5: women and we build stronger relationships, stronger bonds. It is
- 9:33Speaker 5: very necessary, and especially with the people we have in
- 9:35Speaker 5: government right now, we are stronger to gather, you know.
- 9:40Speaker 5: And I always tell people, no woman is my competition.
- 9:43Speaker 5: My only competition is a woman. I was sixty seconds ago,
- 9:47Speaker 5: and I just I wanted to get back to you know,
- 9:49Speaker 5: back in the day, my mother told me stories like
- 9:51Speaker 5: of how growing up, you know, how everybody looked out
- 9:54Speaker 5: for everybody. If one person had a cow, you know,
- 9:57Speaker 5: everybody had me, you know, and we have to we
- 10:01Speaker 5: need to just have that. I think as a community,
- 10:03Speaker 5: as a whole, we just to get back to that,
- 10:06Speaker 5: you know, building.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Each other, not just in hard times, just every day.
- 10:11Speaker 5: So and it's remembering who, like I said, God created
- 10:13Speaker 5: to be, because to me, it's a sin for us
- 10:15Speaker 5: not to.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Step out and live in our purpose.
- 10:17Speaker 5: And in order to live in your purpose, you have
- 10:20Speaker 5: to remember who you were created to be, you know.
- 10:23Speaker 2: So it's kind of I think it's important. Excuse my
- 10:25Speaker 2: little furbaby run around in the background.
- 10:28Speaker 4: You thank you, thank you for putting us both on the.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Screen and showing this book. So these characters, who is
- 10:39Speaker 2: your favorite, Oh my goodness. Out of all of them,
- 10:45Speaker 2: I think it's tough.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm going to I'm gonna say I can't even pick,
- 10:58Speaker 5: but I'm gonna go with go with Holly.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Holly's my favorite, okay, Okay, So because.
- 11:05Speaker 5: And it's hard because all of them have a piece
- 11:08Speaker 5: of me in them. So I go with Holly.
- 11:11Speaker 4: We have okay, so let's name them all first. We
- 11:14Speaker 4: have Holly.
- 11:15Speaker 3: And Simone, Simone, and a Laura Laura. So why did
- 11:23Speaker 3: you not pick Simone as your favorite?
- 11:29Speaker 1: She?
- 11:31Speaker 2: I don't. I love her? And like I said, she
- 11:34Speaker 2: has some something. All of them have some of me
- 11:37Speaker 2: in it. But once you.
- 11:38Speaker 5: Actually read the book, you'rell be like, oh, okay, maybe
- 11:40Speaker 5: that's why great, just because of what she goes through
- 11:45Speaker 5: in the book.
- 11:46Speaker 2: But that's why. So is it hard to see you
- 11:50Speaker 2: with that one? Okay?
- 11:54Speaker 3: Is it hard to see yourself and your characters?
- 11:58Speaker 2: Absolutely not. It's not.
- 11:59Speaker 5: I mean, any character I've written about or I'm currently
- 12:03Speaker 5: writing about there is a piece of meat. If it's
- 12:06Speaker 5: not something but something they say or mannerism or something.
- 12:12Speaker 5: All of them have some piece of meat in them.
- 12:14Speaker 2: So no, it's not hard at all. That's really crazy.
- 12:22Speaker 3: So with putting yourself in your characters. What's one thing
- 12:28Speaker 3: you've learned about yourself.
- 12:31Speaker 5: I've learned that I am often my own worst credit.
- 12:37Speaker 5: I'm often too hard on myself, and I don't give
- 12:42Speaker 5: myself enough credit. I realized that that I don't give
- 12:47Speaker 5: myself enough credit, and I've tried to always, I guess,
- 12:53Speaker 5: stretch myself to the point of perfection or I'm just
- 12:57Speaker 5: trying to always do this, do that and the other.
- 12:59Speaker 5: So I think I I don't take enough time to
- 13:01Speaker 5: just say it's okay. If I don't get it done today,
- 13:04Speaker 5: it's okay.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:06Speaker 3: So I think that's I started doing that to myself.
- 13:09Speaker 3: So I totally understand myself and I do it with
- 13:13Speaker 3: the laundry. We all do it with the laundry, you know,
- 13:16Speaker 3: we all do, yes, ladies.
- 13:20Speaker 2: It is something I don't know. I don't know who.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Well, it might be somebody that loves doing putting up laundry,
- 13:26Speaker 3: but that's one that's the first thing I started doing
- 13:29Speaker 3: it too.
- 13:30Speaker 2: It will be okay sitting in that basket.
- 13:34Speaker 3: It gets bad when it's there like three fourteens afterwards, right.
- 13:41Speaker 5: For you know, treas One of the things my mom
- 13:44Speaker 5: told me it's been about six months. She told me,
- 13:48Speaker 5: she said, you remind me of myself. I see myself
- 13:53Speaker 5: when I look at you when I was younger, and
- 13:55Speaker 5: I'm like, oh great, cause you know, if she's bomb,
- 13:58Speaker 5: she said, And then she said she was bothered because
- 14:02Speaker 5: what she saw is said, I was always trying to
- 14:05Speaker 5: do everything for everybody, and I was just stretching myself,
- 14:09Speaker 5: trying to make and she said I did that one.
- 14:11Speaker 5: I was shun the here and she was, you know,
- 14:14Speaker 5: she basically said.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Just let let it go. And and that's when I
- 14:19Speaker 2: really started thinking.
- 14:20Speaker 5: I was like, Okay, it makes sense, you know, because
- 14:24Speaker 5: originally the title of this book was going to be
- 14:27Speaker 5: When Superwomen Removed Their Caves. But shout out to Navi Robbins.
- 14:32Speaker 5: He's the one he had this pre make design cover,
- 14:36Speaker 5: and when I saw the cover, I fell in love
- 14:37Speaker 5: with it. But that title was too long to fit
- 14:40Speaker 5: on the cover. So I would rather change my title
- 14:42Speaker 5: than to change the cover.
- 14:44Speaker 2: And that's why I remember me.
- 14:47Speaker 5: But it was originally titled When Superwomen Removed Their Caves because.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I'm like, we were just always.
- 14:54Speaker 5: Always going, going, going, going, you know, and I'm right now,
- 14:58Speaker 5: you know, you can go go go people, just you know,
- 15:00Speaker 5: pull poor pool and then when you die, it be like,
- 15:02Speaker 5: oh she's good when they moved out to the next
- 15:04Speaker 5: so remember.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Who you are.
- 15:07Speaker 3: But it's so true, I mean, because I think, let's
- 15:10Speaker 3: just take it a step further, ask in mothers. And
- 15:14Speaker 3: I just saw, Yes, when I can't sleep at night, y'all,
- 15:19Speaker 3: I was looking last night at this guy named Ace Metaphor.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Y'all, don't I still listen to him sometimes I.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Heard everything I still listen to.
- 15:28Speaker 3: But he was talking about being a mother and being
- 15:31Speaker 3: a father, and that being a mother it is you
- 15:35Speaker 3: are there present twenty four seven, and that's expected. But
- 15:42Speaker 3: being the father twenty four to seven is not expected.
- 15:46Speaker 2: But it's okay.
- 15:48Speaker 3: But if a mother is not there twenty four to seven,
- 15:51Speaker 3: it is unacceptable. So the mother's supposed to be there
- 15:55Speaker 3: twenty four to seven, how does she fill her cup
- 15:58Speaker 3: back up if she's there twenty four seven exactly?
- 16:04Speaker 5: And see, I don't have any like I said, I
- 16:06Speaker 5: don't have a third baby. I have nobody. You know,
- 16:08Speaker 5: human baby you want, yeah, Alabama, But you know, mom,
- 16:15Speaker 5: and I just saw and even when your children are
- 16:18Speaker 5: fully grown, I'm forty seven years old, and I'm still
- 16:22Speaker 5: Mama's bab you know, I'm still mama's baby. Mama still
- 16:25Speaker 5: is like, you know, if I get a cough, Mama still.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Like, okay, baby, let me go, let me check out
- 16:29Speaker 2: my baby.
- 16:29Speaker 5: So it never stops, you know, but it is. I
- 16:33Speaker 5: love what you said. You have to take time for you,
- 16:37Speaker 5: you know, because we tend to as women, as wives, mothers,
- 16:41Speaker 5: we just keep pushing our bodies, pushing our bodies, and
- 16:43Speaker 5: until our body just kind of shuts down, we're just like,
- 16:47Speaker 5: oh okay, it'll be all right. We just keep going,
- 16:49Speaker 5: and we need to just have that time like you spensial,
- 16:51Speaker 5: your gallant times, have some times just to be you.
- 16:56Speaker 5: You know, whatever you want to do, is you want
- 16:57Speaker 5: me you want to out tell people, dance, but make
- 17:00Speaker 5: it in your liver.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Just have time as a woman to enjoy being a woman.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, And you guys, it doesn't have to
- 17:11Speaker 4: be anything elaborate.
- 17:13Speaker 2: It can be this pepsi I'm gonna drink. Get off
- 17:18Speaker 2: the podcast. You mentioned that pepsi earlier, you.
- 17:22Speaker 3: See, men, I might put it in a fancy glass
- 17:27Speaker 3: and ice. So we talked about the ladies in the book,
- 17:35Speaker 3: So let's talk about these fellas, which one of these
- 17:39Speaker 3: fellas was the biggest headache in the book.
- 17:43Speaker 4: I'm not hating men, but you know.
- 17:46Speaker 5: The biggest heday I can tell you off the top
- 17:49Speaker 5: is going to be Bradley. He is the biggest headache.
- 17:56Speaker 5: He is also probably the biggest heartbreak. Like when you
- 18:01Speaker 5: when everyone gets to know Bradley, they're gonna be like
- 18:04Speaker 5: I was rooting for him but then so definitely Bradley.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Bradley, that is Simone's husband. He's gonna be the biggest hit.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Okay, who do we have for Holly?
- 18:18Speaker 4: Since she was your favorite? Who's her name?
- 18:20Speaker 5: Holly was my favorite? So Holly, we actually have Malcolm.
- 18:25Speaker 5: Malcolm is actually she's gonna spend the block.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Okay, Malcolm. He's a face from the past. But they
- 18:32Speaker 2: had young love and like he tells.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Her, she knew the boy. Now it's time for her
- 18:37Speaker 5: to get to know the man. So Malcolm, when the block,
- 18:43Speaker 5: spend the block?
- 18:55Speaker 2: We all have spinned the block. Okay.
- 18:58Speaker 3: I turned around and tore up the street so I
- 19:00Speaker 3: can't go down there no more. You see, the stop
- 19:05Speaker 3: sign wasn't working, barriers wasn't working, So I got a Jackham.
- 19:11Speaker 3: I tolled up the streets. So what made you want
- 19:22Speaker 3: to write? I remember me, what what?
- 19:25Speaker 2: Brent? What brought this upot.
- 19:29Speaker 5: As much as this book is for all women or
- 19:33Speaker 5: for women in our community, this book was for me.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I needed it. I needed it.
- 19:40Speaker 5: I desperately needed it. So I needed to I had
- 19:45Speaker 5: so much that was I was dealing with and I
- 19:49Speaker 5: just needed a way too. And writing has always been
- 19:53Speaker 5: the way that I, you know, I let it go.
- 19:56Speaker 5: And this book is almost although it's like you know,
- 19:59Speaker 5: it's fiction, it's almost like a journal, you know, because,
- 20:02Speaker 5: like I say, each pit, there's a part of me
- 20:04Speaker 5: and every one of these women, you know, there's something
- 20:08Speaker 5: that I can relate to, or something I've been through,
- 20:11Speaker 5: or say's something I thought.
- 20:13Speaker 2: So I need it for me.
- 20:15Speaker 5: I just needed it for me. I wanted to get
- 20:18Speaker 5: back to that place, you know, that place of when
- 20:21Speaker 5: I was just a dreamer, you know, and little you know,
- 20:23Speaker 5: and I was just I was more focused on making
- 20:27Speaker 5: my dreams come true than being everything to everybody.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Else, all right, So you push yourself forward and I
- 20:35Speaker 3: love that, and I loved that for you, and I
- 20:38Speaker 3: know there's somebody who's wanting to do the same thing.
- 20:40Speaker 4: This is your confirmation that you need to go ahead
- 20:44Speaker 4: and do it.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Do it, sol it? What is what?
- 20:52Speaker 3: Okay, So we're celebrating Women's History Month and you are
- 20:57Speaker 3: the third female because.
- 21:00Speaker 4: It's ladies first this month.
- 21:03Speaker 3: So being a woman and being the author m highs.
- 21:11Speaker 4: And lows, one high and one low. Tell me about it.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Let's see. One high is being.
- 21:22Speaker 5: Able to motivate or when someone says, oh, my goodness,
- 21:29Speaker 5: that's me. How did you know how I was feeling
- 21:31Speaker 5: this fairy that that that I read that piece of
- 21:34Speaker 5: dialogue between your characters or whatever, that one page that
- 21:37Speaker 5: was for me. When and being able to motivate, you know,
- 21:41Speaker 5: or encourage somebody, let them know, hey, you're not alone.
- 21:45Speaker 2: That that's the high. That's the high.
- 21:47Speaker 5: The low girl, oh no, love probably is being misunderstood
- 21:52Speaker 5: because you know, when you as an author, it's very important,
- 21:56Speaker 5: especially in you know, I genre.
- 21:59Speaker 2: For us be personal and friendly. Some people take that
- 22:03Speaker 2: the wrong way. But yeah, some people take that the
- 22:11Speaker 2: wrong way.
- 22:12Speaker 5: So I think that's just being misunderstood, totally understand.
- 22:17Speaker 3: So what do you feel is the hardest part about
- 22:22Speaker 3: being a female author Right now? In the time set
- 22:28Speaker 3: we are, do you feel that it's become harder or
- 22:33Speaker 3: is it still the same.
- 22:37Speaker 5: I think I think it's just different because I originally
- 22:41Speaker 5: my first book originally him By in two thousand and nine,
- 22:44Speaker 5: and then, like I said, I had a seven year hiatus.
- 22:48Speaker 2: My lad, you know. I think it's just different.
- 22:54Speaker 5: The way the game is I hate to say game,
- 22:56Speaker 5: but the way the game or the industry is played
- 22:59Speaker 5: in RAN these days, it's it's different. I think it's
- 23:03Speaker 5: it's just I don't want to say it's a whole
- 23:07Speaker 5: it's more men. It's messier now than it was then,
- 23:11Speaker 5: but it's a little messy, and I think we just
- 23:14Speaker 5: have to get back to the point of remembering that
- 23:17Speaker 5: we all bring something to the table. Like I said,
- 23:21Speaker 5: my competition is a woman I was sixty seconds ago,
- 23:25Speaker 5: my my As far as books, my only competition is
- 23:28Speaker 5: the last book I put out. I don't look at
- 23:31Speaker 5: I don't look at it as being competitive because I love,
- 23:34Speaker 5: like I love when everybody. I want us, all the women,
- 23:37Speaker 5: you know, I want us all to win, and I
- 23:40Speaker 5: you know, and I get and I get highly encouraged
- 23:42Speaker 5: by seeing other people posts are success.
- 23:45Speaker 2: So I think we just have to remember that. And
- 23:47Speaker 2: I think as women. We have to remember. Okay.
- 23:49Speaker 5: People say imitation is the highest form of flattery. I
- 23:53Speaker 5: say imitation is a lack of creativity. So be original,
- 23:58Speaker 5: be you, write what you want to write, write what
- 24:01Speaker 5: you feel, and just and then love on the next sister,
- 24:04Speaker 5: love on the next woman, love on the next brother,
- 24:07Speaker 5: to help them along the way. That's it, you know,
- 24:11Speaker 5: Just stop being so messy dropping all kind of knowledge
- 24:17Speaker 5: all over the place, because it is true people feel
- 24:20Speaker 5: that there is not enough for everybody.
- 24:24Speaker 4: It's literature. I promise you.
- 24:27Speaker 3: I promise you that there's enough to go around. Because
- 24:31Speaker 3: I always tell people there is no such thing as
- 24:35Speaker 3: an old book because not everyone has read every book.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Your book is always going to be new. And one
- 24:45Speaker 3: thing that our CEO go ahead and color that our work.
- 24:52Speaker 4: The Queen always tells us you are your brand.
- 24:57Speaker 3: And it's for everybody I'm in involved with this one
- 25:01Speaker 3: hundred inspiring office.
- 25:03Speaker 2: It's so crazy.
- 25:04Speaker 3: How you have this author say, hey, I found out
- 25:06Speaker 3: about this spread, the words, found out about this spread
- 25:09Speaker 3: the words. There's enough for all of us. And if
- 25:12Speaker 3: I don't get it this time, I'm gonna be your
- 25:14Speaker 3: biggest cheerleader because I know you got my back next.
- 25:16Speaker 5: Time, exactly exactly, so petty together.
- 25:24Speaker 3: I remember we were talking offline and we were talking
- 25:27Speaker 3: of those fun questions. Yes, here's the time for your
- 25:33Speaker 3: fun questions, all right, So you guys know it that
- 25:37Speaker 3: see book, galsand friends. We always tie in my favorite stuff,
- 25:42Speaker 3: which is entertainment music in movies. So Holly, my friend Holly,
- 25:51Speaker 3: if you can.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Choose any female actress to be Holly, who would she be?
- 26:02Speaker 2: And why? Oh that's difficult. I know it's trying to
- 26:07Speaker 2: send it to you. Taraji p Henson because she's Taraji.
- 26:16Speaker 5: She knows she's jazzy, she's classy, but she has that
- 26:20Speaker 5: that attitude. And Holly has that attitude. She's classy, but
- 26:25Speaker 5: she's also one. And them like, okay, wait they say
- 26:28Speaker 5: what you want, you know? So I think it would
- 26:31Speaker 5: be her. I could see her playing her.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Okay you say her, and you guys, y'all know me.
- 26:38Speaker 3: I am not good. I can tell you what shure
- 26:40Speaker 3: they play on, but I am not good. I am
- 26:42Speaker 3: thinking about the girl off a reason. Keenan's she's a
- 26:52Speaker 3: bad something right there. That's what I was thinking, especially
- 26:56Speaker 3: when we talk about splitting the block, because she did
- 26:58Speaker 3: that with unique as she did that what you need.
- 27:03Speaker 2: But you know what she well, you know what she's versus,
- 27:05Speaker 2: so she might could. I don't know. I love her though.
- 27:08Speaker 5: I would love to see her probably pay in one
- 27:10Speaker 5: of my part and one of my other books. I
- 27:13Speaker 5: would love her if they came to the film because
- 27:16Speaker 5: she's bad. What's her name Patrice? I think it is
- 27:18Speaker 5: in real life or something like that.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Her name is not Patrice. I think it starts with
- 27:24Speaker 2: a p.
- 27:25Speaker 5: I'm a googood just told her her name was Patina Miller.
- 27:33Speaker 5: I knew it started with a peek. She's bad.
- 27:38Speaker 2: If there is an alley, I want her. I want
- 27:41Speaker 2: her in the alley with me. She's so smooth with it.
- 27:44Speaker 2: She is, she is too smooth with it.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Yes, but you said that she can be one of
- 27:49Speaker 3: your other books, book would have been, and who would
- 27:52Speaker 3: the character be?
- 27:53Speaker 5: She would have been in the Love Lifes unless series. Definitely,
- 27:57Speaker 5: she probably would have been. And that's my first series
- 28:02Speaker 5: which I'm getting this year. We're gonna have it spinad
- 28:04Speaker 5: based off of their children, so she'll probably I could
- 28:07Speaker 5: definitely see her plane.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I take you because I tell you she's she's bad.
- 28:10Speaker 2: She's bad. She is she is a great actress.
- 28:16Speaker 3: So we talk about Bradley. Okay, Bradley was walking in
- 28:24Speaker 3: a fashion show. What song would represent Bradley?
- 28:30Speaker 5: Okay, gotcha, and he was walking in a fashion show.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I can't even.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Girl.
- 28:45Speaker 2: What's a sassy song for men? A sassy song for men?
- 28:51Speaker 2: He'lla sassy Oh.
- 28:54Speaker 4: God, somebody said classy man.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm a classy man.
- 29:05Speaker 2: I can see that, like my song. But I can
- 29:09Speaker 2: see him walking right there.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Y'all just have to wait so y'all can say I
- 29:11Speaker 5: know what I'm talking about.
- 29:12Speaker 2: But yeah, okay, I can see that.
- 29:17Speaker 3: But if all your characters were together and they had
- 29:21Speaker 3: to start in a movie, what their personalities as it is?
- 29:26Speaker 2: What would be the name of the movie. Oh my god,
- 29:31Speaker 2: you cannot use your book title?
- 29:33Speaker 6: Oh no, what is that song? Chaboozie song?
- 29:45Speaker 5: Is it burn it Down? Burn it Down? It's one
- 29:48Speaker 5: of my favorite songs. I think that's the title of it,
- 29:51Speaker 5: burn it Down, Chabozy.
- 29:56Speaker 2: I need you to get a bon game. Okay, he
- 29:58Speaker 2: got tipsy.
- 30:02Speaker 5: He's a country, he's a black country.
- 30:14Speaker 2: But I think it's got burnt down. I think that
- 30:17Speaker 2: would be the.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Okay, So we are winding down to our last moments.
- 30:24Speaker 3: So I would like to ask you just two more questions.
- 30:28Speaker 3: The first question would be what would you like to
- 30:31Speaker 3: say to your female.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Authors out there? Let it bird? She corrects me, they
- 30:37Speaker 2: can be I would like to say to.
- 30:46Speaker 5: My female authors, I want you to stay strong on
- 30:51Speaker 5: right what you feel.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Do not be discouraged.
- 30:56Speaker 5: It does not I don't care if it takes you
- 30:58Speaker 5: six months, if it takes you to two years, write
- 31:01Speaker 5: what you feel right was in your heart. And just
- 31:05Speaker 5: if there's someone along the way that you can just drop,
- 31:08Speaker 5: even if it's just a hello, to just be just
- 31:11Speaker 5: be kind and say hello.
- 31:12Speaker 2: And I want you to know you can do it.
- 31:14Speaker 2: You can do it. We can all be billionaires. So
- 31:17Speaker 2: just stay encouraged. There you're dealt.
- 31:20Speaker 3: And my last question before we go to your social media. Okay,
- 31:24Speaker 3: when will I remember me be out so we can
- 31:29Speaker 3: get a copy?
- 31:31Speaker 2: That is always it? The du dut du? I know actually,
- 31:34Speaker 2: so I remember me. Was supposed to come out of November,
- 31:37Speaker 2: and I've rewritten them but twice, but I remember me.
- 31:40Speaker 2: As of today.
- 31:42Speaker 5: We are scheduled to drop it the first of May
- 31:46Speaker 5: at the latest first of May, and.
- 31:48Speaker 2: May come in April.
- 31:51Speaker 5: But the first of May, but I'll definitely have it
- 31:52Speaker 5: at least sit on all my social media pages and everywhere.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Since we're talking about social media, how about you go
- 32:00Speaker 3: ahead and tell us which ones okay.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Because you don't have to read them, I don't remember, Okay.
