- 0:07Speaker 2: At concerts, we dance to the same tune. At games,
- 0:12Speaker 2: we hug total strangers. At marathons, we hand water to
- 0:17Speaker 2: people who'll never see again. We pull over to help,
- 0:21Speaker 2: We stop for someone who's fallen. We give, we step up,
- 0:27Speaker 2: we show up. And yet in these moments, there's also
- 0:33Speaker 2: something we don't do. We don't act based on how
- 0:38Speaker 2: they look, who they love, where they're from, or what
- 0:43Speaker 2: they believe. We just act because the things that make
- 0:49Speaker 2: us different will never change. What makes us human. Go

- 1:55Speaker 1: what else is in store coming up. So we got
- 1:59Speaker 1: that going on for us, which is nice.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Are Yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 1: The Astros are on the West coast, so they've got
- 2:05Speaker 1: a late start this evening, just like the Rangers do.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Here's what's going on Aggie Football. Fifth practice of the
- 2:18Speaker 1: fall tonight tomorrow, and this will be carried live on
- 2:25Speaker 1: the Zone at eleven thirty. Offensive coordinator Holman Wiggins and
- 2:30Speaker 1: defensive coordinator Lyle hemp Hill. We'll hear from one or
- 2:35Speaker 1: both of those on the show tomorrow. Marcel Reid is
- 2:40Speaker 1: going to be made available later this week. That's always good.
- 2:46Speaker 1: As the Aggies continue to get ready for this season.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Opener Joey McGuire tells on three Sports that Texas Tech
- 2:56Speaker 1: is having a hard time finding future opponents. I think
- 3:02Speaker 1: the word is out that they don't want to get
- 3:04Speaker 1: hit by car batteries and paint and goalposts when they
- 3:08Speaker 1: come there. McGuire mentioned Texas A and m USC, North
- 3:15Speaker 1: Carolina State and Mississippi State all schools that have said
- 3:21Speaker 1: no or canceled existing series, said McGuire. We're talking to
- 3:27Speaker 1: everybody and anybody. So far, everybody's told us no. And
- 3:33Speaker 1: McGuire said he told the team, we're the most hated
- 3:39Speaker 1: team in college football. Joey, I don't think people think
- 3:45Speaker 1: about you enough to be the most You wish you
- 3:50Speaker 1: are the most hated team in college football. Just saying
- 3:54Speaker 1: you are doesn't make it so, because I really don't
- 3:59Speaker 1: believe a lot of people outside of Lubbock are thinking
- 4:03Speaker 1: about you. They Protect College Sports Act failed to reach
- 4:08Speaker 1: a vote as Congress had to take their annual August vacation.
- 4:15Speaker 4: They say that they.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Will take it up when they come back in September.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Some people who follow this stuff say they don't think
- 4:27Speaker 1: it will make it to the House.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Or for a vote.
- 4:34Speaker 1: The NCAA and the FBI have announced a partnership today
- 4:39Speaker 1: to edumcate college athletes on how to prevent private images
- 4:45Speaker 1: from getting into.
- 4:47Speaker 4: The wrong hands.
- 4:49Speaker 1: An FBI cyber expert said student athletes maintain large public
- 4:58Speaker 1: facing social media followings, and many cases expanded further by
- 5:03Speaker 1: nil that visibility increases both their exposure to targeting and
- 5:09Speaker 1: the leverage and offender believes they hold when threatening to
- 5:12Speaker 1: expose an athlete to a coach, team, school, or sponsor.
- 5:19Speaker 1: They're calling on coaches and athletic departments and compliance staffs
- 5:24Speaker 1: to help edumicate athletes about sexual exploitation. It didn't take
- 5:31Speaker 1: Purdue athletic Director Tommy mcclulan long to realize he had
- 5:36Speaker 1: said something really stupid. At his introductory news conference on Thursday,
- 5:45Speaker 1: the former Rice ad told Pat McAfee, I'm having a
- 5:50Speaker 1: great day yesterday giving our vision, sharing what we're going
- 5:54Speaker 1: to do with Purdue. I made an offhand, unscripted comment
- 5:59Speaker 1: about an in state rival that didn't land well. I
- 6:04Speaker 1: knew at the second it left my mouth. What he
- 6:07Speaker 1: said was quote, we are here to win championships. If
- 6:13Speaker 1: you don't want to win championships, go to Indiana, which
- 6:18Speaker 1: was a weird thing to say about a team that
- 6:21Speaker 1: went undefeated and won the national championship last year and
- 6:27Speaker 1: has outscored Perdue about a thousand to three the last
- 6:33Speaker 1: two games they played. McAfee said, every now and then
- 6:39Speaker 1: you light it up on the first team and you're
- 6:41Speaker 1: really excited about the round, and then you put it
- 6:44Speaker 1: right in the water. He said, I've got eighteen more
- 6:49Speaker 1: holes to play. I'm sure he heard from a few
- 6:52Speaker 1: people about the stupidity of his comment, and add Missouri
- 6:58Speaker 1: to the list of NASH football champions. The US Senate
- 7:07Speaker 1: and Senator Eric Schmidt from Missouri introduced a resolution Thursday. Now,
- 7:13Speaker 1: mind you, they do not have time to talk about
- 7:20Speaker 1: the College Sports Act, or your taxes or anything else
- 7:27Speaker 1: in Congress, but they do have time to pass a measure.
- 7:36Speaker 1: This is a resolution. It doesn't mean anything right that
- 7:42Speaker 1: adds Missouri to the nineteen sixty national championship list. It
- 7:50Speaker 1: beat Navy in the Orange Bowl that year and went
- 7:54Speaker 1: ten and one. It lost to Kansas, their bitter rival,
- 8:00Speaker 1: though the league ordered the Jayhawks to forfeit the win
- 8:03Speaker 1: for using an ineligible player. See this stuff's been going
- 8:06Speaker 1: on a long time. Minnesota that year was crowned the
- 8:12Speaker 1: AP and UPI national champion. They lost to Washington in
- 8:21Speaker 1: the Rose Bowl. The Football Writers of America voted Mississippi
- 8:27Speaker 1: it's national champion after the Bulls season. Look, we know
- 8:32Speaker 1: every team claims national championships. They didn't win a and
- 8:38Speaker 1: M has done it on the outside of Kyle Field,
- 8:42Speaker 1: Texas has done it. Alabama has done it multiple times.
- 8:47Speaker 4: There are many many.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Teams in college football that have claimed quote mythical national champions.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Now Missouri can put nineteen sixty national champ on the
- 9:01Speaker 1: side of their stadium because the Senator got the Senate
- 9:06Speaker 1: to pass a resolution.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Unbelievable.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I don't think that helps elit drenquits at all. By
- 9:17Speaker 1: the way, in twenty twenty six, Ole miss announced today
- 9:23Speaker 1: fifty six years after the fact, that it's going to
- 9:28Speaker 1: build a statue honoring Archie Manning outside of Vonon Hemingway Stadium.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I mean a little late, but I guess better late
- 9:40Speaker 1: than never. Manning, a Mississippi native, started three years at
- 9:46Speaker 1: quarterback through for almost five thousand yards, rush for eight
- 9:51Speaker 1: hundred and twenty three yards. His fifty six total touchdowns
- 9:55Speaker 1: still ranked six in school history, all the SEC in
- 10:00Speaker 1: sixty nine and seventy All American in sixty nine. Finished
- 10:04Speaker 1: third in the Heisman Trophy in nineteen seventy. Why did
- 10:08Speaker 1: it take him so long? I mean they put up
- 10:12Speaker 1: statues and people all the time in like three years,
- 10:16Speaker 1: and my thing is, look.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Could we wait ten or fifteen.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Years to see if this person is going to actually
- 10:23Speaker 1: be worthy of building a statue? You know what, I'm saying,
- 10:30Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, right, but fifty six years
- 10:34Speaker 1: for Archie Manning seems seems like a while. Rangers Angels
- 10:40Speaker 1: tonight in Anaheim, Mackenzie Gore on the mound. Astros Giants tonight.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure we're carrying that game. It's a late game,
- 10:55Speaker 1: somewhere around eight fortieth or so. Last night, the Astros
- 11:03Speaker 1: lost the game and the series to the Padres. That
- 11:07Speaker 1: was fun. Of what wasn't fun is Kumar Rocker. He
- 11:14Speaker 1: was terrible again. He keeps giving up runs early in
- 11:22Speaker 1: the game.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Home runs.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Pete Alonzo hit two. The reason they got two runs
- 11:33Speaker 1: early is because Rocker forgot to cover first base on
- 11:39Speaker 1: a ground ball to the right side of the infield.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Not kidding.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Jordan Montgomery his season debut, first major league appearance in
- 11:51Speaker 1: almost two years. I mean, it wasn't great, but again,
- 12:01Speaker 1: three earned runs, gave up two homers through seventy nine pitches,
- 12:07Speaker 1: six hits, struck out two. And apparently the Rangers are
- 12:12Speaker 1: considering when Jack Lyder comes back, sending him to the bullpen.
- 12:17Speaker 1: The Rangers may go from a real weakness to a strength.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I just don't know who's going to start, and Don
- 12:24Speaker 1: Nelson has died legendary NBA coach, the second winning hist
- 12:29Speaker 1: coach in league history, the former Dallas Mavericks coach who
- 12:35Speaker 1: may or may not have saved a whole franchise, who
- 12:40Speaker 1: was Poker Buddies in Maui with Willie Nelson and Matthew McConaughey.
- 12:45Speaker 1: He had just moved back to the Dallas area the
- 12:49Speaker 1: Frisco at the first of the year, had a stroke
- 12:52Speaker 1: about three weeks ago, passed away yesterday. Don Nelson was
- 12:58Speaker 1: eighty six.
- 13:00Speaker 4: All right, we're going to step aside.
- 13:04Speaker 1: We're going to have some football interviews. We've got our
- 13:08Speaker 1: SEC football preview of the Auburn Tigers coming up. Rusty
- 13:16Speaker 1: Berson will be here in the second hour, and I've
- 13:21Speaker 1: got a couple of things that we're going to do.
- 13:24Speaker 1: In fact, Stan doesn't know this yet, but we're going
- 13:28Speaker 1: to be playing the top songs in nineteen sixty nine today,
- 13:35Speaker 1: only because I saw a list yesterday and I went, hey,
- 13:41Speaker 1: I can play some of those. This portion of the
- 13:43Speaker 1: show is brought to you by Chad Jones. Law.
- 13:47Speaker 5: I'm Chad Jones. We know sports injuries hurt, and so
- 13:50Speaker 5: do injuries from car Rex. But you didn't sign up
- 13:52Speaker 5: to be in a car wreck with someone who wasn't
- 13:54Speaker 5: paying attention. It was their fault and now you're left
- 13:57Speaker 5: to deal with the consequences. You need to see a doctor,
- 13:59Speaker 5: and you're miss and work. Chad Jones Law can help.

- 14:21Speaker 3: to the Game, to the Collin Show. I'm a Sony
- 14:23Speaker 3: eleven am in ninety three point seven FMA.
- 14:46Speaker 6: Jins of bar Queen.
- 14:54Speaker 7: Day Pop sales.
- 15:03Speaker 1: This was the number one song in nineteen sixty nine,
- 15:08Speaker 1: sixty nine, sixty nine, sixty nine, Top forty radio and
- 15:17Speaker 1: FM radio was just coming in and getting now, okay,
- 15:24Speaker 1: just coming in and getting getting going.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Okay, let's do this. Let's do.
- 15:33Speaker 1: We're gonna hear from a couple of offensive players.
- 15:38Speaker 8: First.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Let's let's hear from Ruben Owens, who you know suffered
- 15:45Speaker 1: an injury last year. He was he's healthy. I think
- 15:50Speaker 1: he's really good when he's healthy. He's had some injury issues.
- 15:57Speaker 1: But if he could stay help fee this year, it's
- 16:02Speaker 1: gonna be a big boost of the offense.
- 16:04Speaker 9: Bro.
- 16:04Speaker 10: What's what's the.
- 16:05Speaker 9: Number one goal for you?
- 16:06Speaker 11: What are you looking to do this spring? What what's
- 16:08Speaker 11: on your agenda?
- 16:09Speaker 12: Uh?
- 16:09Speaker 13: Basically just learn a new uh offense. Uh, some of
- 16:13Speaker 13: the new calls we got and just look forward and
- 16:16Speaker 13: keep my work on my contact balance.
- 16:18Speaker 11: A little bit talking about the new offensive point of
- 16:21Speaker 11: what changes? What might see? Always you need to work
- 16:24Speaker 11: for people obviously spend here, but what about that trade crush?
- 16:27Speaker 13: Uh, it's been good because it's more it's more up tempo,
- 16:30Speaker 13: more tempo plays.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Uh.
- 16:32Speaker 13: He want to go fast, he want to be physical,
- 16:34Speaker 13: he wants you to give effort, and he just wants
- 16:36Speaker 13: you to have fun.
- 16:36Speaker 7: So yeah, so what the training moment and leadiships like
- 16:40Speaker 7: Isaiah or what do you think the kind of my mess?
- 16:43Speaker 3: Uh?
- 16:43Speaker 14: I did?
- 16:43Speaker 13: I believe Coach Echo did a real good at the
- 16:45Speaker 13: portal of adding some of the new pieces. Uh we
- 16:48Speaker 13: need it so and then.
- 16:49Speaker 10: Bringing some of them freshmen in.
- 16:51Speaker 13: They also some ball players so I feel like all
- 16:54Speaker 13: them guys that came in, they gonna have a good
- 16:55Speaker 13: person just when.
- 16:57Speaker 10: The string's over. I guess see what the guys about
- 17:00Speaker 10: you makes you going more off tempo?
- 17:02Speaker 4: Just what what about this offense?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Do you think it's still set of the players sort.
- 17:05Speaker 10: Of at ears that could help you guys with throwing.
- 17:07Speaker 15: Up temp up?
- 17:08Speaker 16: Uh?
- 17:09Speaker 13: I feel when you go up tempo, If you go
- 17:11Speaker 13: up temple every practice, you get used to it. Defenses
- 17:13Speaker 13: don't go up tempo a uh all the time, so
- 17:16Speaker 13: it it gets the defense tired more like, so you
- 17:19Speaker 13: can run plays better and you'll be going fast and
- 17:21Speaker 13: then a defense not even said you say, hut you gone?
- 17:24Speaker 17: You think you guys are the right person now to
- 17:26Speaker 17: be able to keep.
- 17:26Speaker 10: Up and do stuff like that.
- 17:27Speaker 13: Oh, yes, sir, for sure, we do have the right
- 17:29Speaker 13: person now, and we had the right strength and conditioning
- 17:31Speaker 13: staff to be in shape for.
- 17:31Speaker 18: That in such a deep running have when you how
- 17:36Speaker 18: do you anticipate to separate yourself as that.
- 17:38Speaker 5: Kind of from your guys?
- 17:40Speaker 12: Uh?
- 17:40Speaker 13: Just to show the coaches what I'm about, you know,
- 17:42Speaker 13: show the coaches what I can do. Uh.
- 17:44Speaker 10: Coach troops say every day that's that spots to rent.
- 17:46Speaker 13: So I'm just coming out here every day tryna show
- 17:49Speaker 13: 'em that I deserve.
- 17:50Speaker 10: To be that guy.
- 17:52Speaker 11: Don't replace a lot of guys in the offensive line. Uh,
- 17:54Speaker 11: how's out looking good of you? Like up there? About
- 17:57Speaker 11: or about that progress? I like all of 'em.
- 17:59Speaker 13: I like, uh, I know we had to replace for
- 18:01Speaker 13: you guys, but I like all my offensive linement. You know,
- 18:03Speaker 13: spring ball will go, we go get right and uh
- 18:06Speaker 13: they go show what they can do to coach Christian
- 18:09Speaker 13: to see who should be the five guys on there.
- 18:11Speaker 13: But all of 'em physical and all of 'em go go.
- 18:13Speaker 13: So it's gonna be hard to see who's gonna be
- 18:15Speaker 13: at start five.
- 18:17Speaker 17: What's your relationship like with Holman Wiggins and just elevanss.
- 18:20Speaker 10: How time take the ranks?
- 18:22Speaker 14: Uh?
- 18:22Speaker 13: My co My relationship with Coase Wiggs is uh good?
- 18:25Speaker 13: You know, uh cause Wiggins So the thing you cause
- 18:28Speaker 13: Wiggs played running back, so when he became the OC,
- 18:31Speaker 13: I was like, okay, he know he gonna run that ball.
- 18:33Speaker 11: So yeah, do you feel you gotta run the balls?
- 18:36Speaker 11: So many times the games be good to get into
- 18:38Speaker 11: rhythm or you know, and you've went h had to
- 18:41Speaker 11: deal with injuries. So now you're feeling fully healthy, you know,
- 18:43Speaker 11: and go on the floor or what what do you
- 18:45Speaker 11: expect to see.
- 18:46Speaker 10: If you do I feel in the game.
- 18:48Speaker 13: Yeah, it could be running the ball sometimes to get
- 18:50Speaker 13: a rhythm, but you just it really just depends on
- 18:53Speaker 13: what you see out there and uh, how things are going.
- 18:56Speaker 13: But I feel like me being healthy, it's gonna make
- 18:59Speaker 13: a big difference, uh, in my gameplay, and I feel
- 19:03Speaker 13: like we gonna i'm'a take that next up.
- 19:06Speaker 18: Just generally, how to feel to be back out there today,
- 19:08Speaker 18: I mean, first day, you know.
- 19:09Speaker 5: Springing ball.
- 19:10Speaker 13: Just kind of the feel it felt good, you know,
- 19:12Speaker 13: kind of feel myself. You know, I w I was
- 19:14Speaker 13: just a freshman three years ago. Nah f fourth, I'm
- 19:16Speaker 13: getting kind of old, so, you know, but it felt
- 19:18Speaker 13: good to be back out there.
- 19:19Speaker 10: It been a long time coming.
- 19:20Speaker 11: So yeah, you guys talked about such a great season,
- 19:24Speaker 11: but then you lose the last last few games. When
- 19:26Speaker 11: you're around, do you say we gotta finish or you
- 19:28Speaker 11: know what about that?
- 19:29Speaker 13: Yeah, cause u Oka was preaching us, preaching us to us,
- 19:32Speaker 13: uh uh off season, we gotta finish, you know. It
- 19:35Speaker 13: was like that also the year before last year, we
- 19:37Speaker 13: was going good, we was top SEC. We ain't finished
- 19:40Speaker 13: them last few games and then we end up just
- 19:42Speaker 13: going to a bowl game. This year, we f we
- 19:44Speaker 13: didn't We didn't finish as well, but we still make
- 19:46Speaker 13: the playoffs. But we gotta finish them. When we'll get
- 19:48Speaker 13: towards the end of the season, we gotta finish better.
- 19:49Speaker 13: And coach uk up and preaching it, and that's what
- 19:51Speaker 13: we gotta do for him.
- 19:52Speaker 11: What do you think when n when he says something
- 19:53Speaker 11: like when you when you see yourself, what do you
- 19:55Speaker 11: think has to happen for you guys to get over
- 19:57Speaker 11: that pump at the end?
- 19:58Speaker 13: Then it just we gotta he He put us as
- 20:02Speaker 13: a He put us in a position to to finish.
- 20:04Speaker 13: So we just gotta do better, like we we can't
- 20:07Speaker 13: get bored with this to like you know, it's continued,
- 20:09Speaker 13: but we we had a good season. I feel like
- 20:10Speaker 13: we got a little too you know, complacent with the winning.
- 20:14Speaker 13: We j we just thought it was gold.
- 20:15Speaker 10: But nah, we gotta go out there finishing.
- 20:17Speaker 13: Keep keep winning, like cause you know, I any Saturday,
- 20:20Speaker 13: you can lose any given Saturday, you you lose more
- 20:23Speaker 13: than you win.
- 20:23Speaker 8: So yeah, are y'all as the team already talking about
- 20:26Speaker 8: end up season goals and stuff like that.
- 20:28Speaker 10: Or is that is it way too early to start
- 20:30Speaker 10: taking it talking about.
- 20:31Speaker 15: Stuff like that. It's way we just taking it.
- 20:32Speaker 13: One game at a time, that's all w one one
- 20:34Speaker 13: practice at a time, one game at a time, and
- 20:36Speaker 13: then as the season goes along, just when we we
- 20:39Speaker 13: of course all of us wanna go to the national championship,
- 20:41Speaker 13: like that's what we say, but we just take it.
- 20:43Speaker 13: We gotta take it one game at a time, one
- 20:44Speaker 13: practice at a time.
- 20:46Speaker 11: You look in great shape, you had a less way
- 20:48Speaker 11: uh less body fat to you're what what about that?
- 20:51Speaker 19: Uh?
- 20:52Speaker 13: I added less body fat, more muscle. You know, of

- 22:00Speaker 1: football team coming up.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Let's do uh. A receiver.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Ashton Bethel Roman came on strong at the end of
- 22:10Speaker 1: last year, the last several games and.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Looking to be a.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Part of a really nice receiving corps this season.
- 22:21Speaker 19: Three days into practice, just what's kind of been the
- 22:23Speaker 19: impression of this wide receiver corps from your perspective.
- 22:27Speaker 7: He's some's some animals, man, he some dogs and animals,
- 22:30Speaker 7: and we just all whether it's whether it's the older guys,

- 22:44Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 22:44Speaker 10: I've got a lot of them, man, got a lot
- 22:45Speaker 10: of them. Terry's made little one hand case that was
- 22:48Speaker 10: pretty good. He been showing out. He'd been doing his thing,
- 22:53Speaker 10: getting up.
- 22:53Speaker 7: There, timing up the latter, get the blows.
- 22:56Speaker 10: They made. A couple of players.
- 22:57Speaker 7: We all make it plays. We gotta make it plays.
- 22:59Speaker 7: A lot of players made hard to keep up.
- 23:01Speaker 17: You on the other side of the ball over in
- 23:02Speaker 17: the secondary.
- 23:03Speaker 10: Obviously you got caps fult out food there. What have
- 23:05Speaker 10: you seen from some of those y'all in your morn

- 23:11Speaker 10: you get there, get to the spot.
- 23:13Speaker 14: Uh.
- 23:14Speaker 7: He's strong too, Julio. He's strong, real strong, buzz he
- 23:18Speaker 7: real poised. You know, we all they got dogs on
- 23:21Speaker 7: the other side of the ball, and not as much as us,
- 23:24Speaker 7: but they got dogs.
- 23:25Speaker 10: How can you see your wrong play or real.
- 23:28Speaker 13: Change as the older guys, Moman younger guys, my most
- 23:31Speaker 13: us some better A mothers tea.
- 23:32Speaker 7: Yeah, I've been m a little bit more vocal, U Sue,
- 23:35Speaker 7: That's not who I am.
- 23:35Speaker 6: I'm not.
- 23:36Speaker 7: Uh, I've never been the last person in the room
- 23:38Speaker 7: if I could. What confrontation. I tried to, but uh,
- 23:42Speaker 7: you know it's gotta mature, getting older. So try to
- 23:45Speaker 7: show what I was shown by, you know, the mooses,
- 23:48Speaker 7: the y'a dae's, the noose that I came in with that,
- 23:51Speaker 7: you know, just show the little guys, like how did
- 23:53Speaker 7: how things operate?
- 23:54Speaker 10: How things work?
- 23:56Speaker 19: You mentioned the point handed cash from Terry today.
- 23:59Speaker 10: Just what growth you see if in this off season?
- 24:01Speaker 10: What do you think he getting accomplished this year?
- 24:03Speaker 7: I mean he always been a dog. He he a
- 24:05Speaker 7: dog young, he always been one. Uh that that ain't
- 24:07Speaker 7: never changed.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Uh.
- 24:09Speaker 7: He he might not be the tallest, he might b
- 24:11Speaker 7: he might not be the fastest. Uh be he a
- 24:13Speaker 7: dog and he gonna keep being a dog.
- 24:16Speaker 6: What what it was it?
- 24:17Speaker 17: Uh you felt like you been focusing on in the
- 24:20Speaker 17: off season and maybe points of of growth from last season.
- 24:23Speaker 10: Uh just yet attack the ball yet? And uh intermediate routes.
- 24:28Speaker 10: You know, I everyone knows I go deep, I ground fast.
- 24:31Speaker 7: I don't wanna focus on intermedia routes, just the the
- 24:33Speaker 7: nuances of the game.
- 24:35Speaker 19: Do you feel like there's a secret that I run and.
- 24:37Speaker 9: Jound up and were talking about what you see I
- 24:40Speaker 9: can What do you feel like as a receiver in
- 24:42Speaker 9: that at that position for that?
- 24:43Speaker 10: Don't want people to talk to you all right now?
- 24:45Speaker 1: Uh?
- 24:46Speaker 7: I got three TK norm tk he he he.
- 24:51Speaker 10: He like man and s two of these three.
- 24:54Speaker 7: Was kind of like me, Like he got all the
- 24:57Speaker 7: potition in the world. He just gotta put it all together.
- 24:59Speaker 7: And he's putting it together like he's putting it to
- 25:01Speaker 7: get a TK. He's there, he getting there, he getting there,
- 25:04Speaker 7: and everybody j Warren, you know Jade and Warren. He
- 25:07Speaker 7: fast and like he's just like me my freshman year.
- 25:10Speaker 7: I was just I was all speed and I I'll
- 25:13Speaker 7: I'll get in my head so much. Tryna learn the plays,
- 25:15Speaker 7: tryna tryna know how everything's working. Bullet's fine when we
- 25:18Speaker 7: get out there. So he he he at that spot,
- 25:20Speaker 7: but he gonna get it.
- 25:21Speaker 10: You gonna get it. And then kell Sean Johnson he
- 25:23Speaker 10: been he been working. Keill Seine, Uh, he's showing.
- 25:26Speaker 7: The most growth out of everybody in the seat room,
- 25:28Speaker 7: hands down. Keil shan' been working like he been working
- 25:30Speaker 7: his head so excuse my French.
- 25:33Speaker 10: So it's so early but a little bit some of
- 25:35Speaker 10: your favorite moments.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Of competition between the DB's A wide receivers.
- 25:38Speaker 1: How much you just looking forward to put over on
- 25:40Speaker 1: competition wrestling camp?
- 25:42Speaker 7: Mm my favorite moments, I don't got one in particular.
- 25:46Speaker 10: Bits always I.
- 25:47Speaker 7: Set the setting for when when the when the dvs
- 25:50Speaker 7: they they they chirping, that's what they do. And then
- 25:53Speaker 7: receive it, make a play, shut 'em up, we start
- 25:55Speaker 7: chirping back, and then vice versa.
- 25:57Speaker 10: Just keep on happening. That's just that's just football. Asking
- 26:00Speaker 10: put it U. That's gonna pet his spirit right here,
- 26:01Speaker 10: and I like that. I think you're gonna he's the
- 26:03Speaker 10: best tripper on the team that was did this's gonna start.
- 26:07Speaker 19: I think we're gonna talk with Hui here in a
- 26:09Speaker 19: few minutes, just you know what, what have you seen
- 26:11Speaker 19: from him in particular? Maybe a guy that didn't see
- 26:13Speaker 19: the field too much last year, but is a guy
- 26:16Speaker 19: that's gonna hitting first spot right.
- 26:17Speaker 10: Now in cam Uh.
- 26:20Speaker 7: Like I said, he's he's a he is a dog.
- 26:22Speaker 7: I'm not gonna I've been saying the water a lot,
- 26:24Speaker 7: but he's a dog.
- 26:25Speaker 10: I'm not gonna lie. He he uh.
- 26:27Speaker 7: He's strong man he's really strong and he when he
- 26:30Speaker 7: he me long arm you you.
- 26:31Speaker 10: Tryna got up their ball, you gonna feel it. So
- 26:34Speaker 10: he's been working. I s I see it.
- 26:36Speaker 7: I see you been trying to be working. He's he
- 26:38Speaker 7: a good boundary corner right now. He a good boundary
- 26:40Speaker 7: coin And.
- 26:42Speaker 10: I like him. I like him a lot.
- 26:43Speaker 19: That's somebody who goes up against him every day in practice.
- 26:46Speaker 19: Why do you think coach jo Go called the secondary
- 26:48Speaker 19: of the best he's coaching?
- 26:50Speaker 10: Yeah, I I can't speak. I mean I can speak
- 26:54Speaker 10: on the safeties too, you know, Toarfique, toafeque.
- 26:56Speaker 7: Good he can be coming down here stuff rat That's
- 26:59Speaker 7: that's his motto.
- 27:00Speaker 10: That's what he do. It's all that's that's what's.
- 27:02Speaker 7: Wrong with him. But uh, the our our safeties are
- 27:06Speaker 7: are real poison, real smart, real real smart. They know
- 27:09Speaker 7: how they know how the game works. In our corners,
- 27:11Speaker 7: they just all of 'em fast. Uh that might that
- 27:14Speaker 7: might've been something we not had a lot last year.
- 27:16Speaker 7: But all of the corners now they're fast and they
- 27:19Speaker 7: real real phsical.
- 27:20Speaker 10: How's how much chop here do you feel now? I
- 27:22Speaker 10: know you have to sort of the injuries last season,
- 27:24Speaker 10: some of the springs.
- 27:25Speaker 17: How are you feeling now?
- 27:26Speaker 9: And help it?
- 27:27Speaker 10: Is it to be kind of back to yourself? Feel good?
- 27:30Speaker 7: And I hate gaining a whole bunch of weight and
- 27:32Speaker 7: the getting hurt, losing all over.
- 27:33Speaker 10: It and doing it all over again.
- 27:35Speaker 7: So uh, I feel good now show the great uh
- 27:38Speaker 7: ankles getting better? You know, just uh tryna stay healthy
- 27:41Speaker 7: and tryna uh and and and and show off with
- 27:43Speaker 7: the team.
- 27:44Speaker 17: You know, what have you seen from Marceall to see.
- 27:46Speaker 10: His second year as a starter captain?
- 27:47Speaker 12: Now?
- 27:47Speaker 10: What what kind of growth have you seen from the quarterback?
- 27:50Speaker 1: Uh?
- 27:50Speaker 7: He a lot of growth in terms of how he
- 27:53Speaker 7: speaks with the receivers. You know, he want he wants RPOV.
- 27:56Speaker 7: He wants he wants to know where we want to
- 27:58Speaker 7: put the ball stuff like that, but where we want
- 27:59Speaker 7: here to put the ball stuff like that. He's just
- 28:02Speaker 7: it's been more Uh it's been more poised in terms
- 28:05Speaker 7: of how he plays the quarterback position. He's been way
- 28:08Speaker 7: more boys than that. He he's calmed down, he's he's
- 28:11Speaker 7: taking a.
- 28:11Speaker 10: Step back and he's played his game for football.
- 28:13Speaker 17: So I like that, cause said, uh, Braddy Hart is
- 28:16Speaker 17: the number two guy going into camp.
- 28:18Speaker 10: Uh, what have you seen from him.
- 28:19Speaker 17: At whyas he uh kind of separated himself.
- 28:22Speaker 10: At least coming into camp, cause Grad he let it fly.
- 28:24Speaker 10: I like Gray, he let it fly. I'll be bringing
- 28:27Speaker 10: these type.
- 28:27Speaker 7: Of phase, these these posts, all these long routes. He
- 28:30Speaker 7: let it fly every time. I love him.
- 28:33Speaker 19: And when Rev Reven was pretty open and honest with
- 28:35Speaker 19: us the other night just about some of the ways.
- 28:37Speaker 10: He's trying to improve and with some of the the.
- 28:39Speaker 19: Stumbles that he had in his runs last year. Just
- 28:42Speaker 19: how how have you seen him work throughout this offseason
- 28:45Speaker 19: trying to take a step in his game that way.
- 28:49Speaker 10: This is funny cause it's me and real good clubs.
- 28:51Speaker 10: So and I ain't never gonna lie to him. So
- 28:53Speaker 10: I'll be getting on him.
- 28:54Speaker 7: But it's a touchdown if you get involved, you know.
- 28:57Speaker 7: So I and he's been working on I could see
- 28:59Speaker 7: him working on it. I see I've been going to
- 29:01Speaker 7: work with them sometimes.
- 29:02Speaker 10: We've been going to these different trainers that we've been
- 29:05Speaker 10: working on it.
- 29:05Speaker 7: And whether it's him working on or not stumbling, be
- 29:08Speaker 7: working on yet and attacking the ball like we've been working.
- 29:11Speaker 10: Everyone's been working, you know, for.
- 29:13Speaker 17: A few practices in will holding Wiggans been offense coordinator.
- 29:16Speaker 10: What's it kind of been like under him? And what's
- 29:18Speaker 10: his offensive clay? With him in the charger, it's like
- 29:21Speaker 10: it's it feels it.
- 29:22Speaker 7: Feels like I've been in his offense for like years, right, Yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 7: I mean, don't get me wrong. It's not insanely different
- 29:29Speaker 7: from what coach Tyn had in place, but his his
- 29:33Speaker 7: version of the offense is very very it's very easy
- 29:35Speaker 7: to learn, and I feel like I've been I feel
- 29:38Speaker 7: like I feel.
- 29:38Speaker 10: Like I've been here for years, like for years and years,
- 29:40Speaker 10: and it's very good.
- 29:42Speaker 4: That's Ashton Bethel Rubbin.
- 29:44Speaker 1: And we're gonna hear from the new offensive coordinator this week,
- 29:49Speaker 1: maybe tomorrow home at Wiggins, the AC, the OCS, the

- 37:35Speaker 24: support the Texas A and m Aggis this season. Citizen
- 37:38Speaker 24: State Bank, local people, local decisions since nineteen twenty five.
- 37:42Speaker 24: Remember FDI s.
- 37:54Speaker 15: Well, my daddy left home when I was three.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I was told that Sean called and asked, when we're
- 38:00Speaker 1: gonna do uh, when I'm going to talk fantasy football
- 38:04Speaker 1: and give you my predictions and and tell you who
- 38:09Speaker 1: you should draft because everybody is will be doing that.
- 38:13Speaker 1: And I appreciate always, uh that you know, the call
- 38:17Speaker 1: and the reminder. I hadn't even talked about that yet,
- 38:22Speaker 1: and shame on me for that. You know that fantasy
- 38:26Speaker 1: football is like my passion besides the draft. Uh, there's
- 38:31Speaker 1: you know, there's two things in sports I'm passionate about
- 38:36Speaker 1: one's the NFL drafted too is fantasy football, and those
- 38:40Speaker 1: of you who listen to the show certainly already know that.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Let me give that some thought.
- 38:46Speaker 1: We'll probably devote an entire day uh to that so
- 38:52Speaker 1: that you guys can uh and and again, I don't
- 38:56Speaker 1: want to wait too late, because I know some of
- 38:59Speaker 1: you will be drafted very very soon, and you want
- 39:05Speaker 1: the benefit of my expertise.
- 39:07Speaker 4: This is really cool.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Yesterday my former producer Santiago sent this to me. He
- 39:16Speaker 1: got AI to go through the list and rank in
- 39:24Speaker 1: order my top one hundred guests over the decades.
- 39:31Speaker 4: It brought back some great memories.
- 39:33Speaker 1: I don't agree with the ranking whatsoever, but I'm going
- 39:39Speaker 1: to throw out some names. And it's really weird where
- 39:42Speaker 1: some of these rankings were and they probably didn't have
- 39:47Speaker 1: access to some of the interviews on the website that
- 39:52Speaker 1: have gone by the wayside. In other words, George Foreman
- 39:55Speaker 1: is not on this list. He should be on that list.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Tanya Tucker should certainly be on the list. The great
- 40:06Speaker 1: Pat Williams, when my top three all time favorite guests
- 40:10Speaker 1: should be on the list. Roy Clark? Did I mentioned
- 40:14Speaker 1: Roy Clark? Linda Moulton Howe, who, by the way, I
- 40:17Speaker 1: need to call her, we need to get her back on.
- 40:23Speaker 1: But let me give you the top ten according to AI. Okay,
- 40:27Speaker 1: and I don't agree with all of this. Number ten
- 40:32Speaker 1: was Henry Winkler. Number nine was Jimmy Connors. Number eight
- 40:39Speaker 1: was Nora Jones. Number seven was Kirk Herbstreet. Number six
- 40:45Speaker 1: was Mike Leach obviously, way too low, weird. Al Yankovic
- 40:51Speaker 1: was number five, and that's just not He's barely in
- 40:55Speaker 1: the top one hundred. I got to tell you Brian Wilson,
- 40:59Speaker 1: who I've always told people who's the most famous person
- 41:06Speaker 1: or maybe the person that you talk about to interview,
- 41:12Speaker 1: And Brian Wilson is at the top of that list.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Phil Mickelson is number three, and that's just crazy, that's nuts.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Dick Van Dyke's number two, and buzz Aldron was number one.
- 41:31Speaker 4: I guess if you fly to the moon, you know.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Now, Neil buzz Aldron is just was a brilliant man, unbelievable.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Don McClain, I'm just going to call out some names
- 41:48Speaker 1: over the years, Bobby Flayed, Guy Fieri, John Dinsmore, the Doors,
- 41:57Speaker 1: Sonny Vaccaro obviously Ken, Griffy Senior, Jim Currier, Lyle Lovett,
- 42:04Speaker 1: Robert Earl, Keene, Harry Sheer who's voiced The Simpsons forever
- 42:10Speaker 1: and done so many other things. Let's see Roger Corman, Dion,
- 42:23Speaker 1: he wasn't that long ago. Dan Jenkins, the late great
- 42:27Speaker 1: Dan Jenkins, John Feinstein, who was always a favorite guest.
- 42:31Speaker 1: We miss him terribly. Frank de Ford, who's on the list.
- 42:39Speaker 1: David Halberstam was not on the list. He should be
- 42:42Speaker 1: on the list. Obviously, one of my all time favorite
- 42:47Speaker 1: interviews did not make the list. I say he is
- 42:50Speaker 1: the Jackie Robinson of football in the Southwest. That's Jerry
- 42:54Speaker 1: leviias from SMU, Tony Taneil, Peter Yaro Rich, Little Jade Seymour,
- 43:12Speaker 1: Captain Sigg. Obviously uncle Cy. Uncle Cy was created as
- 43:21Speaker 1: much buzz as probably anybody I've ever had on my show.
- 43:24Speaker 1: And Willie Robertson is also there, Armine Katay and Right Thompson.
- 43:30Speaker 1: The list goes on. It's been a long list over
- 43:34Speaker 1: the years, but my thanks to Santiago for sending me
- 43:39Speaker 1: this and then thinking about, like I said, people that
- 43:42Speaker 1: didn't make the list. Dave Barry hilarious, Mitch album, another
- 43:48Speaker 1: unbelievable author, Ray Benson, Gary P. Nunn, Peter Yarro, Peter
- 43:53Speaker 1: Paul and Mary, Michael Martin, Murphy, Ted Nugent. Just going
- 44:00Speaker 1: back on some of these lists, or.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Are pretty cool?
- 44:05Speaker 1: Did I mention Rick Riley? I think I did? Uh.
- 44:09Speaker 4: Tim Kirtchin, Love love Tim Kirtchin.
- 44:15Speaker 1: So it's fun to go back and reminisce, and thanks
- 44:19Speaker 1: to Santiago for doing that. I had another caller text me, UH,
- 44:26Speaker 1: pretty upset when I talked about uh, the NFL draft
- 44:31Speaker 1: and fantasy football. He said he thought that w n
- 44:35Speaker 1: BA was my number two passion And obviously, you know me,
- 44:41Speaker 1: it's way up there in the top three. But you know,
- 44:48Speaker 1: you can't not everything could be number one, you know,
- 44:52Speaker 1: you just you have to rank certain things. And I'm
- 45:01Speaker 1: surprised that somebody hasn't mentioned recruiting. You know, I work
- 45:07Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five days a year on recruiting.
- 45:11Speaker 6: And.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I put in a lot of time and effort on
- 45:16Speaker 1: recruiting and ranking because you know how important that you
- 45:20Speaker 1: know that I think that is. So you No, it's
- 45:25Speaker 1: hard to keep everybody happy, and I don't try to
- 45:31Speaker 1: do that. I just try to do things that I'm
- 45:34Speaker 1: really passionate about, and you guys have obviously listened long
- 45:41Speaker 1: enough that you know how passionate I am about those
- 45:45Speaker 1: those things that I mentioned. The Astros Report is brought

- 46:29Speaker 4: Details. Next, here's business analyst David Johnson.

- 47:01Speaker 26: The Houston Astros lost the rubber game of their road
- 47:04Speaker 26: series to the San Diego Padres last night, final score
- 47:08Speaker 26: seven to two. In the top of the second inning,
- 47:11Speaker 26: Dalton Varshow hit a two run blast to give the
- 47:13Speaker 26: Astros their only runs of the contest.
- 47:18Speaker 15: That's a high fly ball.
- 47:19Speaker 26: Deep right field, absolute no counter, Taunton Varsho call courtesy
- 47:26Speaker 26: of Robert Ford and the Astros Radio Network. Unfortunately for Houston,
- 47:30Speaker 26: the Padres would cut the lead in half in the
- 47:32Speaker 26: bottom of the second inning, and Fernando Tatis Junior would
- 47:36Speaker 26: crank a three run blast to give San Diego the
- 47:39Speaker 26: lead in the fourth. The Astros open up another road
- 47:42Speaker 26: series tonight against the San Francisco Giants first pitch at
- 47:46Speaker 26: eight forty five coverage on the Space City Home network
- 47:49Speaker 26: with your Houston Astros report, I'm Adam C.

- 48:31Speaker 1: Mountain Creams Clearwater with the ninth most popular song of
- 48:44Speaker 1: nineteen sixty nine sixty nine, sixty nine sixty nine.
- 48:53Speaker 4: And one of the.
- 48:56Speaker 1: We had an FM, it was Knews, I Believe K
- 49:00Speaker 1: and u Z in Dallas, one of the album the
- 49:04Speaker 1: first album rock when FM was start getting popular. I
- 49:10Speaker 1: remember going to visit the high school my freshman year,
- 49:16Speaker 1: so back then, since it was sophomore, junior, senior right
- 49:19Speaker 1: in high school and Susie q by Creedens was playing
- 49:27Speaker 1: on the speakers. I thought that was the coolest thing.
- 49:31Speaker 1: They get to listen to music during lunch man. I'm
- 49:35Speaker 1: about to hit the big time.
- 49:37Speaker 4: Okay.
- 49:38Speaker 1: As we talked about earlier, Kumar Rocker was terrible yesterday
- 49:45Speaker 1: both in the field and on the mound for the Rangers.
- 49:48Speaker 1: They lost to the Orioles ten to five, blew a
- 49:51Speaker 1: chance to sweep the series. They're a half game behind
- 49:54Speaker 1: the Astros. They're in third place in the wild card race.
- 49:59Speaker 1: Let's hear Skip Schumacher after.
- 50:01Speaker 9: The game, especially after giving it up in the ninth
- 50:05Speaker 9: inning for them to come back again, JJ and Duran
- 50:08Speaker 9: kind of sparking that rally in the ninth inning and
- 50:11Speaker 9: then you know, Danny with a huge hit. But you're right,
- 50:15Speaker 9: that was it could have been the difference of a
- 50:18Speaker 9: deflating or inflating clubhouse right there. They're super excited. It
- 50:23Speaker 9: felt like, you know that it could have. You know,
- 50:27Speaker 9: Lats has been so good this year. He has given
- 50:30Speaker 9: up you know, next to no runs. I pitched him,
- 50:34Speaker 9: you know, two innings, day off and back to back
- 50:38Speaker 9: and running him out there, and maybe not fair to him,
- 50:41Speaker 9: quite honestly, but the boys picked him up in a
- 50:43Speaker 9: big way, and so he's all smiles right now, which
- 50:47Speaker 9: he probably wouldn't have been, you know, if we ended
- 50:49Speaker 9: up losing that game. And that's what good teams do
- 50:51Speaker 9: and good teammates do, is they pick each other up.
- 50:53Speaker 9: And we had a lot of that tonight, you know,
- 50:55Speaker 9: quite honestly, And so we've been really good at coming
- 50:59Speaker 9: from behind and coming back late in games this year,
- 51:02Speaker 9: and you know, hopefully that's a that's part of our identity. Yeah, Jake,
- 51:08Speaker 9: you know, it's an easy guy to root for because
- 51:10Speaker 9: of how good of a person he is, but also
- 51:12Speaker 9: how hard he works. And you know, you bet on
- 51:15Speaker 9: guys that work hard, and I believe hard work equals
- 51:19Speaker 9: good luck.
- 51:19Speaker 15: And he got some good luck today.
- 51:21Speaker 9: He deserves the good luck with all the the work
- 51:23Speaker 9: he's put in lately and I mean all his career,
- 51:26Speaker 9: I should say, but yeah, today was was huge for him.
- 51:29Speaker 9: And you know, we need him, like I've said before,
- 51:32Speaker 9: middle of the lineup, bottom of the lineup lately, and
- 51:34Speaker 9: he's provided some huge runs and runs batter than another.
- 51:38Speaker 15: Easy guy to root for.
- 51:41Speaker 9: I fell in love with Danny and spring training, just
- 51:43Speaker 9: the way he goes about it, his personality inside that dugout,
- 51:46Speaker 9: the way he commands the pitching staff. He reminded everybody
- 51:50Speaker 9: that was his fifth walk off, So I don't know
- 51:52Speaker 9: if that's true or not, but immediately reminded all of
- 51:55Speaker 9: us of that how clutch he is.
- 51:57Speaker 15: So if you guys are.
- 51:58Speaker 9: Wondering, but uh, yeah, it was a great moment.
- 52:01Speaker 15: I mean he's.
- 52:04Speaker 9: You know, he's been grinding, you know, on the offensive
- 52:06Speaker 9: side as well, but always the same guy, just like Zeke.
- 52:10Speaker 9: It's always the same guy when he enters the clubhouse
- 52:12Speaker 9: super positive.
- 52:12Speaker 10: He's upbeat.
- 52:14Speaker 9: He finds joy and success of others, which I love
- 52:17Speaker 9: and and he's like the ultimate teammates. So when success
- 52:20Speaker 9: happens for him, like that's why everybody couldn't wait to
- 52:24Speaker 9: run out and you know, tackle him at second base
- 52:27Speaker 9: because they're so happy that you know, he was the
- 52:29Speaker 9: one that did it.
- 52:35Speaker 4: That was the wrong win.
- 52:37Speaker 1: It was skip dash ohs. But that's okay. He was
- 52:42Speaker 1: talking about a win and not a loss. Uh. Let's
- 52:47Speaker 1: let's hear from the Orioles manager Craig Albernez after the
- 52:50Speaker 1: gate yesterday.
- 52:51Speaker 15: Yeah, I was up and down the lineup, great at bats,
- 52:55Speaker 15: six walks.
- 52:56Speaker 18: You know. That something we were talking about with our
- 52:58Speaker 18: you know earlier the past couple of games and even
- 53:01Speaker 18: back at that home was our ability to walk when
- 53:05Speaker 18: not being able to catch him in. But the guys
- 53:07Speaker 18: had great at batch, great swings, big day by Pete,
- 53:11Speaker 18: Kobe Jackson, klser Leodi.
- 53:14Speaker 15: That was a great offensive performance tonight.
- 53:16Speaker 18: Yeah, it was great to see, you know, being able
- 53:18Speaker 18: to to get the stolen base, you know, the two
- 53:20Speaker 18: stolen bases, taking the extra ninety feet going.
- 53:22Speaker 15: First to third, the hustle doubles.
- 53:24Speaker 18: It just it just takes less pressure off with the
- 53:26Speaker 18: guy in the box, and it was able to kind
- 53:29Speaker 18: of simplify the approach at the plate and kind of
- 53:31Speaker 18: that's what.
- 53:31Speaker 15: We saw the benefits of that today.
- 53:33Speaker 18: Yeah, absolutely, I mean it's it's been it's been awesome watch. Obviously,
- 53:37Speaker 18: we all know the pedigree and track record that he
- 53:39Speaker 18: has and to see it day and day at night
- 53:42Speaker 18: in and night out, it's been really impressive. And you
- 53:45Speaker 18: know today you know he has that in him, you know,
- 53:48Speaker 18: with two home runs, great job getting his walks too,
- 53:50Speaker 18: and you know, being able to kind of kind of
- 53:53Speaker 18: change the game himself. Yeah, and not to mention what
- 53:55Speaker 18: he brings to the culture and the cluballs and the
- 53:58Speaker 18: leadership standpoint, but offensively he's a force.
- 54:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 54:01Speaker 15: Yeah, that was the best I've seen him the show.
- 54:03Speaker 18: He was getting the fastball to the elevated of the
- 54:06Speaker 18: rights BA, which is with him, it's tough to swear up,
- 54:09Speaker 18: and then throwing the split off that and just like
- 54:12Speaker 18: all of our pitchers but especially our relievers, when he's
- 54:14Speaker 18: throwing strikes, that's when he's on his best. And yeah,
- 54:16Speaker 18: that's the best I've seen her all That was great
- 54:17Speaker 18: to see.
- 54:18Speaker 4: All right, that's the O's manager.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Pete Alonzo had two home runs that those were his
- 54:24Speaker 1: twenty fourth, had twenty fifth round trippers of the year,
- 54:31Speaker 1: twenty seventh multi home run games, but his first as
- 54:35Speaker 1: an oriole and this is a team that had seven
- 54:41Speaker 1: runs in the first four innings.
- 54:42Speaker 14: It was just.
- 54:44Speaker 1: You know, and then afterward Rocker, who's just I've come
- 54:48Speaker 1: to believe is just a flake. It was his twentieth
- 54:52Speaker 1: start of the year, his ninth loss. He's four and nine.
- 54:58Speaker 1: His stuff is too good to be four and nine,
- 55:01Speaker 1: But between the ears, I mean, man, I just don't know.
- 55:07Speaker 1: I I'm gonna tell you who comes to mind when
- 55:12Speaker 1: I think about Kumar Rocker and who would not put
- 55:17Speaker 1: up with the inconsistency and the flakiness like not covering
- 55:23Speaker 1: first base, And that's that's Nolan. When Nolan was with
- 55:26Speaker 1: the Rangers, he doesn't get enough credit. He doesn't get
- 55:31Speaker 1: enough credit for what he did with the pitching staff,
- 55:34Speaker 1: right because he had the skins on the wall and said,
- 55:40Speaker 1: now you're you're not gonna do that. We're not gonna
- 55:42Speaker 1: put up with that. This is a guy that has
- 55:46Speaker 1: good enough stuff to throw six or seven shutout innings
- 55:49Speaker 1: and has this year. But yet he's he's four and nine.
- 55:56Speaker 1: He is terrible, and the first couple of innings of
- 56:01Speaker 1: a game was terrible yesterday, And then afterwards says, yeah,
- 56:09Speaker 1: that's on me. I just wasn't ready to go. I'm
- 56:12Speaker 1: going that's why you're getting paid. You only pitch every
- 56:16Speaker 1: you know, five days, You're getting paid to be ready
- 56:19Speaker 1: to go. What do you mean you weren't ready to go?
- 56:26Speaker 4: It sounds like I'm a little frustrated.
- 56:28Speaker 1: I am, but you know I will I will think
- 56:34Speaker 1: about my upcoming fantasy draft and just cool off a
- 56:38Speaker 1: little bit. Oliver Brothers Transmissions has been part of our
