- 0:04Speaker 1: On scor Lils Australia.
- 0:06Speaker 2: This is the Reader Panalty Show.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the readA Panety Show coming
- 0:14Speaker 3: up tonight. One Nation ahead of the Coalition in the
- 0:18Speaker 3: latest news poll. The panel will weigh in on that
- 0:21Speaker 3: and the day's other top headlines.
- 0:23Speaker 2: The Prime Minister forced to water down his.
- 0:25Speaker 3: So called hate speech laws after losing the support of
- 0:28Speaker 3: the Coalition, and the Green Senator Alex Antique will join
- 0:31Speaker 3: me to discuss that madness in Minnesota as anti ice
- 0:36Speaker 3: protesters take over the state.
- 0:38Speaker 2: We cross to the.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Great John Heinderaker in Minnesota for his insights, and later
- 0:43Speaker 3: in the hour, Kinsey Schofield joins me with the latest
- 0:46Speaker 3: royal and entertainment news and we never neglect your favorite
- 0:50Speaker 3: segment in mine.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Left is losing it.
- 1:01Speaker 3: But let's get started with the latest news poll. And
- 1:04Speaker 3: for the first time in history, one Nation has overtaken
- 1:08Speaker 3: the Coalition on primary votes.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:11Speaker 3: The newspoll published in today's paper shows One nations primary
- 1:15Speaker 3: vote has jumped seven points to twenty two percent, while
- 1:19Speaker 3: the Coalition has dropped three points to a record low
- 1:22Speaker 3: of twenty one percent record low. Labor remains ahead but
- 1:27Speaker 3: fell four points to thirty two percent, and the news
- 1:31Speaker 3: is not great for the Prime Minister, Anthony Albaneze's net
- 1:34Speaker 3: approval rating has plunged to minus eleven, with fifty three
- 1:38Speaker 3: percent saying they're dissatisfied with his performance.
- 1:41Speaker 2: And it's not much better.
- 1:42Speaker 3: For the Liberal leader Susan Lee, with her net approval
- 1:45Speaker 3: rating at minus twenty eight and fifty six percent saying
- 1:50Speaker 3: that are dissatisfied with her performance.
- 1:52Speaker 2: And Susan Lee's dissatisfaction rating is even worse than the
- 1:56Speaker 2: prime minister's.
- 1:57Speaker 3: One Nation's rise came after the recruitment of former Nationals
- 2:02Speaker 3: leader and Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce. He addressed the
- 2:05Speaker 3: news poll results this morning and he wasn't surprised.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I think that what One Nation's done is giving people
- 2:12Speaker 1: license for an alternative. We're very humbled by the vote.
- 2:16Speaker 1: We understand it's just an indicator, it's not a vote
- 2:20Speaker 1: at an election, but it inspires us to continue the work,
- 2:23Speaker 1: work very hard and when you've got to make a
- 2:26Speaker 1: choice between political correctness or looking after Australians, we will
- 2:28Speaker 1: look after Australians first.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Let's bring in the panel joining me now as Institute
- 2:33Speaker 3: of Public Affairs. Senior fellow, Colleen Harken and the head
- 2:37Speaker 3: of Advocacy at Women's Forum Australia Stephanie Bastian Ladies. This
- 2:42Speaker 3: is a grim result for the Coalition, their identity crisis,
- 2:47Speaker 3: their weakness on several issues, is seeing One Nation record
- 2:51Speaker 3: an extraordinary rise in support Coaleen.
- 2:55Speaker 4: This is true.
- 2:56Speaker 5: I mean, despite what some of the social media commentary
- 2:59Speaker 5: is saying, Pauling Hamson is not going to be the
- 3:01Speaker 5: Prime Minister anytime soon. But it is a warning shop
- 3:05Speaker 5: for both of the major parties that the average puntrat
- 3:07Speaker 5: there is completely dissatisfied with the leadership that is not
- 3:10Speaker 5: being shown by either of the majors. The really interesting
- 3:15Speaker 5: component of this is whether whether One Nation can provide
- 3:18Speaker 5: a really weighty counterbalance to the Greens in time to come.
- 3:22Speaker 5: Victoria with its latest cohort of signing up to one
- 3:27Speaker 5: Nation apparently that's their greatest membership now, which is very interesting.
- 3:31Speaker 5: And they intending to run a candidate in every seat
- 3:34Speaker 5: in the next Victorian election, which is later this year,
- 3:37Speaker 5: so there'll be a few litmus tests along the way
- 3:39Speaker 5: before the next federal election.
- 3:41Speaker 3: And Stephanie, this news poll backs up the recent demos
- 3:46Speaker 3: poll we saw just a week or so ago that
- 3:49Speaker 3: showed the ALP on twenty nine percent primary vote by
- 3:53Speaker 3: nation and the Liberal National Coalition on twenty three percent.
- 3:58Speaker 2: What was particularly fascinating with result.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Was the two party preferred figures where it was Labor
- 4:05Speaker 3: and the Coalition.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Labor is four points.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Ahead in the two party preferred figures, but when it's
- 4:10Speaker 3: Labor and one Nation, well it's all tied up fifty
- 4:14Speaker 3: to fifty each.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Susan Lee and the Liberal front bench.
- 4:19Speaker 3: They must be terribly worried about what this all means.
- 4:26Speaker 6: Look, and I think they should be.
- 4:27Speaker 7: I mean, it's very clear that the Liberals have lost
- 4:30Speaker 7: their way, they don't know what they're standing for, and
- 4:32Speaker 7: they've lost their base with it. Pauline Hansen is consistent,
- 4:36Speaker 7: she's clear, she approaches every issue from a very center
- 4:40Speaker 7: right perspective. You know what she's going to say because
- 4:43Speaker 7: of she comes from a strong philosophical background. I think
- 4:48Speaker 7: that the Coalition should be worried because they're clearly losing votes,
- 4:52Speaker 7: they're losing their base, and that's a clear indication that
- 4:55Speaker 7: they're suffering from a lack of leadership.
- 4:57Speaker 6: I don't know whether I.
- 4:58Speaker 7: Agree with Colleen I don't think one is going to
- 5:00Speaker 7: form government anytime soon, but I am glad that there
- 5:04Speaker 7: is another dominant force in the political.
- 5:07Speaker 6: Debate that's no longer the Greens.
- 5:09Speaker 7: For too long, the Greens have been dragging both major
- 5:12Speaker 7: parties to the left.
- 5:13Speaker 6: The Coalition should have known better than to buy in
- 5:16Speaker 6: to it.
- 5:16Speaker 7: But I'm pleased that that One Nation are now becoming
- 5:19Speaker 7: a force to be reckoned with.
- 5:22Speaker 3: And Colleen, what about the notion And it's something I
- 5:25Speaker 3: spoke about last year of the Nationals and One Nation
- 5:30Speaker 3: if there is more of a fracture between the more
- 5:32Speaker 3: conservative MPs who want to see the Liberals really differentiate
- 5:37Speaker 3: from Labor, and then you've got the moderates who are
- 5:41Speaker 3: really I mean that should be in the tills some
- 5:44Speaker 3: of them. What do you think about that that phenomenon
- 5:48Speaker 3: continues and you've got the Liberals sort of at sea.
- 5:51Speaker 3: If the Nationals and One Nation get together, they could
- 5:53Speaker 3: be quite a formidable team.
- 5:55Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 5:55Speaker 5: I don't know if that's just your idea or whether
- 5:57Speaker 5: you've heard it from somewhere, but it would be I
- 5:59Speaker 5: like to think.
- 6:00Speaker 3: When I mentioned it, no one else had me talked
- 6:03Speaker 3: about it last year. So I'm running with that, that's
- 6:05Speaker 3: the reader plan, thank you.
- 6:07Speaker 5: But you know, it would be a really interesting component
- 6:10Speaker 5: because the trouble with the Liberal Party is grappling with
- 6:13Speaker 5: at the moment is what does it stand for anymore?
- 6:17Speaker 5: You know, And if the center right people were to
- 6:20Speaker 5: leave and to join with the Nationals, I think that
- 6:21Speaker 5: the Liberal Party would actually implode.
- 6:23Speaker 8: It really has.
- 6:24Speaker 5: To get its act together, work out again what it
- 6:26Speaker 5: stands for, who it's talking to, who is its audience,
- 6:29Speaker 5: because showing it being labor light clearly hasn't.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Worked for it.
- 6:35Speaker 5: It has gone backwards in the polls for several years.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Every time they acquiesced the space and move to the left,
- 6:40Speaker 5: they lose. So you know, the average person out there
- 6:43Speaker 5: is dying to see them get their act together.
- 6:46Speaker 8: Now.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Let's move on to Australia Day and the Sunday Telegraph
- 6:49Speaker 3: has revealed the federal government body in charge of promoting
- 6:53Speaker 3: Australia Day has handled a taxpayer funded grant to a
- 6:57Speaker 3: community group to hold a Survive Day event. The Blue
- 7:01Speaker 3: Mountains Aboriginal Culture and Resalce Center will hold a Culturally
- 7:05Speaker 3: Safe Survival Day.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Twenty twenty six on January twenty sixth. I mean, really, Colin.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Can you believe the National Australia Our Council is advertising
- 7:17Speaker 3: this event as an Australia Day, family fun day.
- 7:22Speaker 2: When it's going to be anything but.
- 7:24Speaker 3: And I think that we're people showing up expecting to
- 7:26Speaker 3: celebrate Australia Day and being confronted with this, well, it's
- 7:31Speaker 3: survival Day.
- 7:31Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 5: It kind of tells you everything you need to know
- 7:33Speaker 5: that they're not being transparent about it, that our taxpayer
- 7:36Speaker 5: dollar is being used again for grievance. Australians are absolutely
- 7:41Speaker 5: sick to death of the negative nancy stuff, all of
- 7:44Speaker 5: the I mean ipay research recently shows that seventy six
- 7:47Speaker 5: percent of Australians want to celebrate Australia Day. And what's
- 7:51Speaker 5: interesting about it too is it's been driven a lot
- 7:53Speaker 5: by the younger generation. Eighteen to twenty four year olds
- 7:55Speaker 5: have resoundedly rejected the corporate notion that you could take
- 7:59Speaker 5: a day, take the public holiday on another day. We're
- 8:02Speaker 5: seventy two percent of those young people saying, no, Australia
- 8:05Speaker 5: Day's Australia Day, we need to celebrate it. We're sick
- 8:08Speaker 5: of the negative nancies, get on board. We want the positive,
- 8:11Speaker 5: optimistic lucky country Back.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Or the overwhelming majority of Australian Stephanie do support Australia
- 8:18Speaker 3: Day that don't want to change the date, but our
- 8:20Speaker 3: taxes continue to fund this activism. We've also got our
- 8:24Speaker 3: taxes going to a team of academics to conduct a
- 8:28Speaker 3: research project into changing the date. Just a lazy one
- 8:31Speaker 3: point five million being thrown for that bit of activism.
- 8:35Speaker 3: The culture warriors of the left are not going to
- 8:39Speaker 3: stop with this issue, are they.
- 8:42Speaker 6: No.
- 8:42Speaker 7: But I think, like most of these woke issues that
- 8:45Speaker 7: were grappling with at the moment, there is a huge
- 8:47Speaker 7: divide between the bureaucracy that's tax funded and your everyday punter.
- 8:51Speaker 7: And I think that if you have this goes back to.
- 8:54Speaker 6: The Voice campaign.
- 8:55Speaker 7: People want Indigenous communities to do well, but they want
- 8:59Speaker 7: all the aliens to be treated equally. And for a
- 9:02Speaker 7: long time they couldn't say anything. You know, institutions, education
- 9:06Speaker 7: systems slammed Australia Day, made people feel really guilty about
- 9:09Speaker 7: celebrating it, and there was a real dying down of it.
- 9:12Speaker 7: But then we had the Voice debate and people could
- 9:14Speaker 7: quietly make their voice heard and they slammed the inequality
- 9:18Speaker 7: down the bias of the.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Debate and since then we've seen a rise in.
- 9:22Speaker 7: Australia Day pushing back on big corporates like Woolworths refuse
- 9:26Speaker 7: to sell merchandise. The people have spoken and they're pushing
- 9:29Speaker 7: back and I think it's fabulous. So everyone should get
- 9:31Speaker 7: out next Monday and celebrate Australia Day.
- 9:36Speaker 3: I'm going to have a leading Australian businessman on the
- 9:39Speaker 3: show later in the week who has really doing something
- 9:43Speaker 3: special to promote Australia Day. And it's good to see
- 9:46Speaker 3: that from the corporate sector because I think they've been
- 9:48Speaker 3: terribly guilty of giving into this loud minority.
- 9:52Speaker 9: Now.
- 9:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Why we continue to throw a tax payer money at
- 9:56Speaker 3: this activism, because there's plenty of people online willing to
- 10:00Speaker 3: for free, including this lady.
- 10:03Speaker 10: The twenty six is coming up, and a lot of
- 10:05Speaker 10: people might be wondering why am I talking about the
- 10:07Speaker 10: twenty six? What does this have to do with anything.
- 10:10Speaker 10: If you have the same energy towards free Gaza, because
- 10:14Speaker 10: you understand it's a geno slide, then you need to
- 10:18Speaker 10: have the same passion towards the country that you're living
- 10:21Speaker 10: in or the one that you're currently staying in this
- 10:24Speaker 10: country is built off that as well. This twenty six
- 10:29Speaker 10: is not a good day and it shouldn't be celebrated,
- 10:32Speaker 10: and the people who do celebrate it, it's kind of
- 10:35Speaker 10: past the point of you not understanding. Like it's all
- 10:39Speaker 10: over social media. Everyone is aware that it is not
- 10:41Speaker 10: a day to celebrate. So please respect the original owners
- 10:44Speaker 10: of this land. And if you see that you know
- 10:47Speaker 10: something of your friends are going or something like, don't
- 10:49Speaker 10: join them.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Educate them there you go educate them, Colleen, that's the
- 10:56Speaker 3: that's the catch cry. Apparently if you're educated, then you
- 11:00Speaker 3: you hate yourself, you hate your country, and you hate.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Australia day exact.
- 11:03Speaker 5: And I wonder whether that would constitute hate speech under
- 11:05Speaker 5: these new laws. Not not Yeah, well, this is just
- 11:08Speaker 5: another example of the negativity that people are completely sick of.
- 11:14Speaker 5: We were and we still are the lucky country. Part
- 11:17Speaker 5: of that has come from having a positive and optimistic psyche,
- 11:20Speaker 5: and that's what we want to celebrate. We have every
- 11:22Speaker 5: reason to be proud of who we are and every
- 11:24Speaker 5: reason to celebrate it. And I think the everage Australian
- 11:26Speaker 5: is not listening to that stuff anymore.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Quite frankly now, an internal document that the West Australian
- 11:33Speaker 3: Labor government tried to keep secret has revealed a startling
- 11:37Speaker 3: revelation about the gender clinic at the Perth Children's Hospital.
- 11:41Speaker 3: The document reveals that the gender clinic will connect interested
- 11:45Speaker 3: under eighteen patients with private surgeons for a misectomy double misseectomy,
- 11:52Speaker 3: while stressing the personal responsibility of the girl.
- 11:57Speaker 2: And her family for that choice.
- 11:58Speaker 3: That was a report from the Australian Stephanie that is
- 12:03Speaker 3: disturbing to read.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Do we know at what age.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Young confused girls in this country are having their healthy
- 12:10Speaker 3: breasts removed?
- 12:13Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a very disturbing story.
- 12:15Speaker 7: Indeed, we don't have clear data on this because the
- 12:19Speaker 7: government doesn't keep the records. For the reason, I imagine
- 12:22Speaker 7: that the public would be outraged.
- 12:24Speaker 6: We know that that girls as young to fifteen.
- 12:27Speaker 7: Have spoken about in Australia having a double missectomy, and
- 12:30Speaker 7: we also know The Daily Male reported in twenty twenty
- 12:33Speaker 7: three that there was a clinic in Queensland willing to
- 12:36Speaker 7: perform it on girls as young as thirteen with a referral.
- 12:40Speaker 6: So this is definitely a thing.
- 12:42Speaker 7: But I mean, this is why we need a national
- 12:45Speaker 7: inquiry in conjunction with.
- 12:46Speaker 6: The States because the States are doing different things.
- 12:49Speaker 7: They've got their own guidelines that are informed by the
- 12:52Speaker 7: Australian Standards of Care, and it's all very hush hush.
- 12:55Speaker 7: There's no mandatory reporting, there's no mandatory follow up, and
- 12:59Speaker 7: it's it's really dark. What I saw something very recently
- 13:03Speaker 7: where a mother who was a new mother, thankfully she
- 13:05Speaker 7: had been able to conceive a child after going down
- 13:09Speaker 7: the path of transitioning coming back, and she was sharing
- 13:13Speaker 7: her experience of her milk coming in, having had a
- 13:15Speaker 7: double misseect to me and not being able.
- 13:17Speaker 6: To feed her baby.
- 13:18Speaker 7: I mean, these are the real devastating consequences of these treatments.
- 13:23Speaker 7: Even if it's an adult a young person, the question
- 13:26Speaker 7: is whether they're able to actually consent to these treatments.
- 13:29Speaker 6: Like mel Jeffrey, who is also suing.
- 13:32Speaker 7: The clinicians and the monachaic that performed a double misseect
- 13:35Speaker 7: to me on her, You're dealing with vulnerable people that
- 13:38Speaker 7: often have other struggles with mental health.
- 13:41Speaker 6: So I just I don't think Albow is taking it
- 13:44Speaker 6: seriously enough.
- 13:44Speaker 7: I don't think his inquiry is going to look at
- 13:47Speaker 7: any of these things. But hopefully with more pressure. In
- 13:50Speaker 7: twenty twenty six, we can see some change.
- 13:54Speaker 3: We need a national inquiry. We need transparency. That's what
- 13:57Speaker 3: we don't have in this country. We need some transfer
- 14:00Speaker 3: parents in how many of these surgeries are being performed
- 14:03Speaker 3: at what ages? These are irreversible surgeries. Some of these
- 14:07Speaker 3: girls are left infertile after this, and they're making that
- 14:12Speaker 3: decision as confused teenagers. It is just an appalling state
- 14:17Speaker 3: of affairs. Colen Hark and Stephanie Bastian, thank you so
- 14:20Speaker 3: much for your time tonight. I'm mini st. Anthony Alberanzi
- 14:23Speaker 3: has hit a roadblock with his hate speech laws after
- 14:27Speaker 3: losing the support of the Greens and the coalition. Susan
- 14:30Speaker 3: Lee and her front bench are considering a raft of changes.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Joining me now as Liberal Senator Alex Antik Alex. This
- 14:38Speaker 3: entire process seems to be rushed and chaotic. Where do
- 14:42Speaker 3: you stand on this legislation now and what sort of
- 14:45Speaker 3: safeguards are being considered?
- 14:49Speaker 11: Well, reader, firstly, I don't know what's being talked about
- 14:53Speaker 11: on money reading this stage, what everyone else is reading,
- 14:55Speaker 11: but I don't support any of it. I don't support
- 14:57Speaker 11: hate crimes in the general principle being bricked into legislation
- 15:01Speaker 11: for the reasons that have been discussed infinitum over the
- 15:04Speaker 11: last few days. They are nebulous, They are I think
- 15:09Speaker 11: dangerous to enforce, particularly in the mold they're in this
- 15:13Speaker 11: particular proposed bill. I mean, you know, this was going
- 15:16Speaker 11: to be an extraordinary piece of legislation if it got
- 15:19Speaker 11: up with the hate crimes groups being banned and the
- 15:22Speaker 11: racial carve out as well. So look, I don't know
- 15:25Speaker 11: what sort of compromises are being drummed out. I won't
- 15:28Speaker 11: support them in any event, And I mean, really, I
- 15:31Speaker 11: do worry about the look of us picking one particular
- 15:36Speaker 11: part of a very bad bill and a very bad
- 15:39Speaker 11: piece of legislation to work on that. You know, in
- 15:43Speaker 11: one sense, I think you know you don't want to
- 15:45Speaker 11: be half pregnant on these issues. We either stand for
- 15:48Speaker 11: the principle of free speech or we don't, and I
- 15:52Speaker 11: certainly do, and I won't be supporting it.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Well, the liberals do seem to be weak on this issue,
- 15:59Speaker 3: on the issue of free speech, and we've seen this
- 16:01Speaker 3: across several debates in recent years, and again with this legislation.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Has there been enough scrutiny from the oppositions it seems
- 16:10Speaker 3: like one nation has really taken the lead, and you've
- 16:13Speaker 3: got people within the opposition all too ready to roll
- 16:16Speaker 3: over and accept these illiberal laws.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:21Speaker 11: Well, look, I mean I think the whole process has
- 16:23Speaker 11: been rushed, it's been flawed. We're talking about less than
- 16:26Speaker 11: a week. I think this were only up to four
- 16:28Speaker 11: or five days since the bill was introduced, and it's
- 16:32Speaker 11: one hundred and forty something pages of laws, which clearly
- 16:36Speaker 11: many of them were preordained ready to go, and now
- 16:40Speaker 11: we're finding out that they're being rushed through Parliament with
- 16:42Speaker 11: a very very limited, almost non existent consultation period. And
- 16:47Speaker 11: on top of that, today the first order of business
- 16:51Speaker 11: was to basically guillotine these bills through in their separated format,
- 16:55Speaker 11: such that there will be a vote without really any
- 16:57Speaker 11: contributions from anyone off the floor. Now, I always think
- 16:59Speaker 11: those contributions are largely performative. Anyway, people vote in accordance
- 17:03Speaker 11: with their blocks, but people have to have an opportunity
- 17:06Speaker 11: to have their say on handside. That's the very nature
- 17:09Speaker 11: of doing so, and they're not even going to get
- 17:11Speaker 11: that opportunity. So you know, these are if passed, then
- 17:14Speaker 11: the fulsome bill if past would have represented something like
- 17:17Speaker 11: you know, in my view, the biggest change to Australian
- 17:21Speaker 11: criminal and migration and firearms laws in twenty five to
- 17:25Speaker 11: thirty years, all within the space of one calendar week.
- 17:27Speaker 11: You can't make good law like that, and it's an
- 17:30Speaker 11: absolute blight on this Albanezi Labor government.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Now, I opened the show with the latest News poll results.
- 17:39Speaker 3: What's your reaction to that information? One Nation now is
- 17:43Speaker 3: a head of the Liberal Party in primary votes. It's
- 17:47Speaker 3: an astonishing results, Senator.
- 17:51Speaker 11: Yeah, look, it is astonishing. Although I must say I've
- 17:54Speaker 11: been warning of this for a very long period of time.
- 17:56Speaker 11: I copped a lot of criticism two years ago, almost
- 17:59Speaker 11: at this time when I said in my pre selection
- 18:02Speaker 11: speech that in South Australia we were being looking down
- 18:06Speaker 11: the barrel of a one nation explosion. I mean at
- 18:09Speaker 11: that stage they were in some polls polling it somewhere
- 18:12Speaker 11: between but depending on who you believe, twelve and sixteen
- 18:15Speaker 11: percent in essay and now that didn't play out in
- 18:18Speaker 11: the federal election, but we're now seeing it playing out
- 18:21Speaker 11: to the tune of twenty one percent as a primary vote,
- 18:24Speaker 11: which for US send twenty two for one nation. According
- 18:27Speaker 11: to that News poll. Now, the usual political line on
- 18:29Speaker 11: these is we don't believe in the polls, and we
- 18:32Speaker 11: don't we listened to the election. Well, if we listen
- 18:35Speaker 11: to the election on those numbers, there aren't going to
- 18:37Speaker 11: be many of us sitting around listening after the event.
- 18:39Speaker 11: This is extraordinarily worrying, but I think entirely, entirely predictable
- 18:44Speaker 11: one nation, to the larger degree, mapping out the sort
- 18:48Speaker 11: of policy position that the Liberal Party in this country
- 18:50Speaker 11: should be adopting, and that is now more than just
- 18:53Speaker 11: a SoundBite from a senator, a senatorial candidate seeking pre selection.
- 18:58Speaker 11: That's been proven right two years later, and it's in
- 19:01Speaker 11: the most dire of circumstances.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Now, Now before you go, there is a debate in
- 19:07Speaker 3: the UK at the moment about whether they should adopt
- 19:10Speaker 3: Australia's social media band for under sixteens over sixty.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Labor MPs are backing this.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Starma appears to be a little bit hesitant, and Nigel Farage,
- 19:21Speaker 3: not surprisingly is against it. What would your advice be
- 19:26Speaker 3: to British politicians.
- 19:30Speaker 11: Well, look, my advice first off would be to stop
- 19:32Speaker 11: listening to whichever globalists are pulling the levers on this
- 19:35Speaker 11: worldwide push on free information and free speech. That would
- 19:39Speaker 11: be the starting point. And look, you know this is
- 19:42Speaker 11: a folly. We knew it from the start. We're now
- 19:44Speaker 11: being told that something like four and a half million
- 19:47Speaker 11: accounts have been removed. There are only something like two
- 19:50Speaker 11: and a half million people that qualify, children that qualify
- 19:53Speaker 11: or something like that. Now they may have had multiple accounts,
- 19:55Speaker 11: but we don't know what's real and what's not. But
- 19:57Speaker 11: what we do know about the under sixteen social media
- 20:00Speaker 11: ban is that it's not being aside from being a
- 20:04Speaker 11: complete and utter folly, it's not being pushed out across
- 20:09Speaker 11: all platforms. We know that this is about X. We
- 20:12Speaker 11: know that it's not about Blue Sky that seems to
- 20:14Speaker 11: be getting a lifeline here, and I'm sure that would
- 20:16Speaker 11: be the case in the UK as well. So my
- 20:18Speaker 11: advice for what it's worth to the United Kingdom Parliament
- 20:21Speaker 11: is avoid this at all costs and start listening to
- 20:25Speaker 11: people that are on X and start turning off the
- 20:28Speaker 11: globalist glitterati.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Senator alex Anjik, thank you so much for your time tonight.
- 20:36Speaker 11: Thanks reader.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Still to come, lefties losing it and madness in Minnesota's
- 20:43Speaker 3: Anti I's protests take over the state. Across to the
- 20:47Speaker 3: great John Henderraka in Minnesota. For the latest, you're watching
- 21:02Speaker 3: the Reader Paney Show, and it's time for lefties losing it. Yep,
- 21:07Speaker 3: new Year, but the same, all crazy left with their
- 21:11Speaker 3: unlimited supplies of hate, lunacy, and depravity. Let's start in Minneapolis,
- 21:16Speaker 3: where the aw fools, that's the affluent white female lefties
- 21:19Speaker 3: are doing all they can to obstruct law enforcement, doing
- 21:49Speaker 3: everything they can to provoke and obstruct to protect criminals.
- 21:54Speaker 2: That's what they're doing.
- 21:55Speaker 3: It's an insurrection and I don't use that word lightly,
- 21:58Speaker 3: and insurrection provoked by this sort of reckless retrick. Let's
- 22:02Speaker 3: hear from the Governor of Minnesota, Tampon Tim Walls, who
- 22:06Speaker 3: claims ICE agents are hunting and kidnapping innocent people.
- 22:11Speaker 12: ICE agents are going door to door ordering people to
- 22:15Speaker 12: point out where their neighbors of color live. They're pulling
- 22:18Speaker 12: over people indiscriminately, including US citizens, and demanding to.
- 22:24Speaker 13: See their papers.
- 22:25Speaker 12: And at grocery stores, at bus stops, even at our schools,
- 22:29Speaker 12: they're breaking windows, dragging pregnant women down the street, just
- 22:33Speaker 12: playing grabbing Minnesotans and shoving them into unmarked vans, kidnapping
- 22:37Speaker 12: innocent people with no warning and no due process.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Just reckless craziness.
- 22:44Speaker 3: And here he claims ICE agents are committing atrocities.
- 22:48Speaker 13: And if you see these ICE agents in your neighborhood,
- 22:51Speaker 13: take out that phone and hit record. Help us create
- 22:55Speaker 13: a database of the atrocities against Minnesotans, not just to
- 22:59Speaker 13: establish a record for posterity, but to bank evidence for
- 23:02Speaker 13: future prosecution.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Let's look at.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Some of these protesters. They're not just filming, they are obstructing.
- 23:09Speaker 3: They are violent, and they are committing crimes. Here they
- 23:13Speaker 3: still a rifle and ammunition from a weapons locker in
- 23:16Speaker 3: a federal vehicle.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Oh my god, where are the cops.
- 23:35Speaker 3: And here is a little more lawlessness from Minneapolis, with
- 23:39Speaker 3: law enforcement vehicles being destroyed and staying in Minnesota. Let's
- 23:53Speaker 3: not forget about the billions, yes, billions with a B
- 23:57Speaker 3: defrauded from US taxpayers. Segments of the Somalian community have
- 24:01Speaker 3: been cleaning up, running childcare centers without any children, but
- 24:05Speaker 3: of course the media is uninterested in that.
- 24:08Speaker 2: They were more.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Eager to run pr exercises from the left, claiming the
- 24:14Speaker 3: unprecedented fraud was fake news. But the counter offensive did
- 24:19Speaker 3: not go too well. Look at this woman's reaction when
- 24:22Speaker 3: she inadvertently admits.
- 24:25Speaker 2: There is fraud.
- 24:26Speaker 8: And I do see some signs over here that say
- 24:28Speaker 8: stop fraud, and I agree, stop it.
- 24:31Speaker 9: There are wheatless for these programs that are years long.
- 24:35Speaker 4: There is fraud, there is.
- 24:40Speaker 2: L oops.
- 24:41Speaker 3: And here is another Minnesota mum who freaks out, absolutely
- 24:46Speaker 3: freaks out when she inadvertently admits.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Fraud is bad.
- 24:51Speaker 8: I understand fraud is bad.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Yeah, ok, yes, well done, Lave. You did really good.
- 25:15Speaker 3: We'll get back to Minneapolis soon. But let's check in
- 25:18Speaker 3: with lefty heartland Seattle.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I wonder what's been happening there.
- 25:22Speaker 14: You wear me all hands up fed as well, hands
- 25:28Speaker 14: up fed as well.
- 25:31Speaker 2: President mariol I'm not there, betsalas.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Yes, literally protesting to free a mass murdering dictator. A
- 25:52Speaker 3: dude in a dress protesting to free a mass murdering dictator.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Clearly he's not aware of Maduro's at it to the
- 26:00Speaker 3: LGBTQIA plus plus plus plus community. Meanwhile, despite claims from
- 26:05Speaker 3: the left that Republicans are split over Trump's actions with Maduro,
- 26:10Speaker 3: the data proves otherwise. Takeaway CNN's polling expert Harryenton.
- 26:16Speaker 14: Let me be very clear, there is no rift in
- 26:20Speaker 14: the Republican Party. Yes, there are some folks like Marjorie
- 26:23Speaker 14: Taylor Green and Thomas Massey or quite skeptical of this.
- 26:27Speaker 14: They are very much in the minority. What are we
- 26:28Speaker 14: talking about here, Well, why don't we just talk the
- 26:31Speaker 14: GOP on the US military, Houstein Maduro EPSOS sixty five
- 26:35Speaker 14: percent support, six percent of pose. How about the Washington
- 26:38Speaker 14: post war seventy four percent support just ten percent a
- 26:42Speaker 14: post If you look among twenty twenty four Trump supporters,
- 26:46Speaker 14: we're talking about eighty percent support.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Let's get back to the madness in Minneapolis. We now
- 26:52Speaker 3: have churches falling victim to this lawless insurrection. Protest has
- 26:56Speaker 3: stormed a city's church service after claiming one of the passes.
- 27:00Speaker 3: There is an ICE agent. Don Lemon was with the protesters. Naturally,
- 27:05Speaker 3: let's listen to his report.
- 27:08Speaker 15: Have gathered over here. They're in the middle of the
- 27:11Speaker 15: church during the beginning of the church service. The pastor
- 27:14Speaker 15: was speaking and Nichema stood up and set her peace,
- 27:20Speaker 15: and then the protesters surrounded her. But this is a
- 27:22Speaker 15: clandestine mission. I think they found out one of according
- 27:25Speaker 15: to them, this is according to operation.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Pull up that one of.
- 27:29Speaker 15: The pastors here is a member of AS and so
- 27:35Speaker 15: there we go.
- 27:36Speaker 3: I think I can leave pack on Yeah joining me
- 27:41Speaker 3: now is president of the Center of the American Experiment
- 27:44Speaker 3: and writer for the popular power Line blog. John Heindereiker, John,
- 27:50Speaker 3: we're now storming a church service, frightening parishioners, surrounding the pastor.
- 27:56Speaker 2: What in God's name is happening in your state, Rita?
- 28:00Speaker 9: What is going on in Minnesota is an insurrection, a
- 28:04Speaker 9: rebellion against federal authority. We haven't seen anything like it
- 28:09Speaker 9: in the United States since eighteen sixty one, when the
- 28:13Speaker 9: Confederate States seceded. This insurrection is being incited by Tim Walls,
- 28:19Speaker 9: the governor of Minnesota, and Jacob Fry, the mayor of Minneapolis,
- 28:23Speaker 9: and it has now spiraled out of control, in part
- 28:26Speaker 9: because local police are being held back and are not
- 28:29Speaker 9: maintaining order. Invading a church on a Sunday morning, it's
- 28:34Speaker 9: an absolute outrage. These so called protesters are at a
- 28:39Speaker 9: minimum trespassing, and if they each spend a week in
- 28:43Speaker 9: the county jail, these disruptions would stop immediately, But that
- 28:46Speaker 9: isn't happening, and the protests keep getting more and more disruptive.
- 28:51Speaker 9: The Democrats are at war against the Trump administration, and
- 28:55Speaker 9: that's the basic reality. Anything the administration tries to do,
- 28:58Speaker 9: the Democrats resist with all their might. And these liberals
- 29:04Speaker 9: do not want federal immigration law to be enforced. And
- 29:07Speaker 9: it's terrible Rita because these ice agents are picking up murderers,
- 29:12Speaker 9: multiple murderers, child rapists, criminals of all sorts, and of
- 29:17Speaker 9: course they're all illegal aliens to boot, which is a
- 29:19Speaker 9: crime in itself. And the Democrats simply don't want these
- 29:24Speaker 9: laws to be enforced, and this is their way of
- 29:27Speaker 9: making war on the Trump administration.
- 29:31Speaker 3: John, you talked about some of these violent offenders who
- 29:34Speaker 3: are being rounded up, and I want to play you
- 29:37Speaker 3: this clip from an officer who has had enough with
- 29:40Speaker 3: these protestes.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Listen to this.
- 29:43Speaker 9: Report.
- 29:44Speaker 16: We're here to arrest a child sex offender. And you
- 29:49Speaker 16: guys out here honky, No, we're pressing dot Vigo right
- 29:55Speaker 16: there is Honky and impeding our investigations. Well, we're trying
- 29:58Speaker 16: to arrest a child, said, that's who you guys are protecting.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Insane, John, It is insane because we are having murderers deported,
- 30:10Speaker 3: child sex offenders, rapists, and yet these protesters are doing
- 30:15Speaker 3: everything within their power to try to obstruct.
- 30:21Speaker 9: That's a key point, reader. They aren't really protesting. What
- 30:23Speaker 9: they're doing is interfering with these ICE agents who are
- 30:27Speaker 9: trying to enforce federal law. That is a federal crime.
- 30:30Speaker 9: You cannot impede and interfere with law enforcement. They'll do
- 30:34Speaker 9: things like they'll they'll park their vehicles across perpendicular across
- 30:38Speaker 9: the street, so they'll try to trap ICE agents in
- 30:41Speaker 9: a particular place so they can't get out and go
- 30:44Speaker 9: about their law enforcement duties. They harass them in a
- 30:48Speaker 9: multitude of ways, and it's a crime, and yet they
- 30:52Speaker 9: are not being not being punished.
- 30:57Speaker 3: And these protesters aren't just agitated about ICE and deportation.
- 31:01Speaker 3: They're also upset about the focus that has been on
- 31:05Speaker 3: the fraud in your state, the fraud perpetrated mainly by
- 31:10Speaker 3: segments of the Somalian community. Tell me a little bit
- 31:13Speaker 3: about that. Do we yet know the full scale of
- 31:16Speaker 3: this fraud?
- 31:18Speaker 9: Well, Rita, we know some of it. Feeding our Future
- 31:21Speaker 9: scandal is kind of the headline here. It has been
- 31:23Speaker 9: for the last four years in the Feeding our Future scandal.
- 31:27Speaker 9: So far, seventy eight people have been charged, fifty seven
- 31:30Speaker 9: have been condicted. There have been a couple of trials
- 31:32Speaker 9: as well as guilty please, and there are more charges pending.
- 31:36Speaker 9: That's a five hundred million dollar theft. But the assistant
- 31:40Speaker 9: US attorney who has prosecuted those feeding our future cases
- 31:45Speaker 9: says that they've been investigating the eighteen billion dollars in
- 31:50Speaker 9: medicaid spending in Minnesota over the last few years, and
- 31:54Speaker 9: he's concluded that at least at least one half of
- 31:59Speaker 9: that eighteen billion dollars has been stolen by fraudsters. So
- 32:04Speaker 9: we're probably looking at a fraud here of ten billion
- 32:09Speaker 9: dollars or more.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Astonishing, And the next state that's going to have some
- 32:16Speaker 3: scrutiny is going to be California. Will be fascinating to
- 32:18Speaker 3: see what's uncovered there. Your governor, the governor of Minnesota,
- 32:22Speaker 3: Tim Walls, the man who could have been Vice president,
- 32:25Speaker 3: is going.
- 32:26Speaker 2: To step down.
- 32:28Speaker 3: How culpable is he for the dysfunction in Minnesota?
- 32:33Speaker 9: Really, he is highly culpable. He's absolutely responsible. He has
- 32:37Speaker 9: actively encouraged resistance to federal authority. I call him the
- 32:43Speaker 9: Jefferson Davis of the twenty first century. He's threatened to
- 32:47Speaker 9: call out the Minnesota National Guard to fight against ice,
- 32:53Speaker 9: and he mused in a press conference about being at
- 32:57Speaker 9: war with the federal government. The man is an absolute disgrace,
- 33:02Speaker 9: and he bears a lot of responsibility for what is
- 33:05Speaker 9: going on now in Minneapolis.
- 33:08Speaker 3: You know what, he was a figure of mockery really
- 33:11Speaker 3: throughout that presidential campaign. Tampon team he was called because
- 33:16Speaker 3: he was putting tampons in boys' bathrooms across his state.
- 33:21Speaker 3: But really he is such a dangerous figure. And you
- 33:25Speaker 3: think about that election last twenty twenty four now and
- 33:31Speaker 3: what would have happened if we did have a Kamala Harris.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Tim Walls team in the White House today.
- 33:38Speaker 9: Read All we can say is we're all grateful that
- 33:41Speaker 9: that didn't happen. I mean, Walls was a laughing stock
- 33:44Speaker 9: during that campaign, but I think in the time that's
- 33:46Speaker 9: gone by since more people have realized that he's not
- 33:49Speaker 9: just a laughing stock. He's really a menace. And you know,
- 33:53Speaker 9: he is not running for reelection. He had announced that
- 33:56Speaker 9: he was running for reelection. He's now changed his mind.
- 33:59Speaker 9: Is going to step out at the end of this term.
- 34:01Speaker 9: And obviously that's because of all of the turmoil that
- 34:03Speaker 9: has been going on.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Now.
- 34:07Speaker 3: You mentioned about the local police not maintaining order. That's
- 34:12Speaker 3: something that has been noted by people who have been
- 34:15Speaker 3: observing what's been happening in Minneapolis and elsewhere in Minnesota.
- 34:20Speaker 2: We've had protests to just behave.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Appallingly Stephen Miller, the commentator, not the Trump administration. Stephen Miller.
- 34:28Speaker 3: He points out that in recent days, we've seen these
- 34:30Speaker 3: protest groups chase innocent men out of a diner, attacking
- 34:35Speaker 3: an innocent guy on the street who was actually with them.
- 34:38Speaker 3: They harassed a innocent guy in an suv demanding that
- 34:44Speaker 3: he show is ID. They've blocked an innocent guy because
- 34:47Speaker 3: his rental car plates, and they've now stormed a.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Church service as we played earlier.
- 34:54Speaker 3: And he says, I haven't seen a single Minneapolis police
- 34:58Speaker 3: officer in any of the the video footage. How is
- 35:02Speaker 3: that possible? What is happening there within the police force
- 35:06Speaker 3: and what orders are they receiving in terms of how
- 35:09Speaker 3: to handle these protests.
- 35:12Speaker 9: Well, it's because of Minneapolis is a sanctuary city, and
- 35:15Speaker 9: what that means is by law, the police, the local
- 35:19Speaker 9: police don't cooperate with federal immigration authorities. And that's terrible
- 35:25Speaker 9: because ICE really needs local police to do crowd control
- 35:28Speaker 9: and maintain order. That should not be ICE's job. But
- 35:32Speaker 9: that's not happening here, and so these ICE agents are
- 35:35Speaker 9: being continuously harassed and interfered with, and that is by design.
- 35:40Speaker 9: Minneapolis is legally a sanctuary city, and that is intended
- 35:44Speaker 9: to take the local police out of the action and
- 35:47Speaker 9: make it impossible to enforce federal law.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Now, let's talk about what's happening in Iran and the
- 35:56Speaker 3: US's response. The Trump administration's respect has been.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Praised and criticized.
- 36:02Speaker 3: It's clear that Donald Trump is backing the protesters, but
- 36:07Speaker 3: after he warned the Iranian regime not to kill innocent,
- 36:11Speaker 3: peaceful protesters, he hasn't done anything when that has happened.
- 36:15Speaker 3: And there's been fairly extensive evidence now of a very
- 36:20Speaker 3: horrific crackdown on protesters and reports of thousands being killed.
- 36:25Speaker 3: We've seen further sanctions by the US, but no military action. John,
- 36:31Speaker 3: how do you see the White House's response to what's
- 36:34Speaker 3: happening in Iran?
- 36:37Speaker 9: Well, Rita, it does seem that Trump has backed off
- 36:40Speaker 9: in recent days, and I think that probably reflects the
- 36:43Speaker 9: fact that it is hard to have a lot of
- 36:46Speaker 9: influence if you aren't willing to put soldiers in the field.
- 36:49Speaker 9: Now the rulers have shut off communications, they've shut down
- 36:53Speaker 9: the internet and so forth. They apparently have gone on
- 36:55Speaker 9: killing thousands of people. They obviously need to go, But
- 36:59Speaker 9: Weatherid and Trump is willing to do anything further to
- 37:02Speaker 9: get rid of them remains to be seen.
- 37:08Speaker 3: It's also interesting that we've not heard much from Russian
- 37:11Speaker 3: President Vladimir Putin. He's been unusually quiet throughout the last
- 37:16Speaker 3: couple of weeks with the uprising. Same with China and
- 37:20Speaker 3: Jamie Siddle writes in news dot com that there's a
- 37:23Speaker 3: new player on the block. US President Donald Trump. His unpredictable,
- 37:27Speaker 3: his brash is upending every expectation, and that's unbalancing every
- 37:32Speaker 3: global axis.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Now do you.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Agree that that is in part why the Iatola's regime
- 37:40Speaker 3: is on the brink of collapse? And can that collapse
- 37:44Speaker 3: happen independent of some sort of assistance from the US.
- 37:49Speaker 9: RITA. There's no doubt that Trump's encouragement has helped US
- 37:52Speaker 9: spur on these protests, which we all fervently hope will
- 37:57Speaker 9: bring this horrible Iranian regime fine lead to an end.
- 38:01Speaker 9: But one thing we've seen historically is the tyrannical regimes
- 38:05Speaker 9: can hang on for a long time after they're seemingly
- 38:08Speaker 9: dead in the water. Cuba is a good example of that,
- 38:11Speaker 9: a totally discredited government but still there after eighty five years.
- 38:16Speaker 9: And so we hope that these public protests and so
- 38:19Speaker 9: forth will bring down the Mullah's regime. But at this
- 38:23Speaker 9: point we really don't know. We've got to wait and see.
- 38:28Speaker 3: And before you go, this is the first chance I've
- 38:30Speaker 3: had to ask you about the astonishing events that the
- 38:35Speaker 3: astonishing feet of the Trump administration to remove the Venezuelan
- 38:39Speaker 3: dictator Maduro. That operation, I think is something we'll talk
- 38:43Speaker 3: about for years to come, decades. And it wasn't just
- 38:47Speaker 3: about drugs or freeing in a press population was a John.
- 38:51Speaker 3: But I think it's more than about just seizing control
- 38:55Speaker 3: of all that oil. It was about weakening America's foes particularly.
- 39:02Speaker 9: Yeah, that actually has had some really interesting consequences in
- 39:06Speaker 9: the international scene. You know, the Russians knew that the
- 39:09Speaker 9: mission was coming. They pulled all their people out, but
- 39:12Speaker 9: they didn't tell their Chinese ally, and the Chinese were
- 39:16Speaker 9: meeting with many hours before he was arrested by the
- 39:21Speaker 9: Americans and in China. That reportedly has raised some serious
- 39:24Speaker 9: questions about their alliance with Russia and how solid it
- 39:29Speaker 9: really is. And it's also revealed Chinese weakness in the
- 39:33Speaker 9: New World, especially because China has pledged eternal solidarity with Maduro,
- 39:38Speaker 9: but when the time came, they couldn't actually do anything.
- 39:42Speaker 9: So yes, seizing the oil and cutting off that supply
- 39:45Speaker 9: of oil to China does hurt China economically, but there
- 39:49Speaker 9: are reports that China's leaders are also reassessing their foreign
- 39:54Speaker 9: strategies as a result of what happened in Venezuela, including
- 39:59Speaker 9: their alliance with Russia.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Yes, very interesting indeed, because China has become reliant on
- 40:07Speaker 3: that oil, and it's also become reliant on the oil
- 40:10Speaker 3: form Iran. Most of Iran's oil ends up in China,
- 40:13Speaker 3: so that's going to put considerable pressure on Beijing. John Heinderraka,
- 40:17Speaker 3: it's always a pleasure.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Thank you so much for your time. Tonight Still to come.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Royal and entertainment news, including Keith Urban moving in with
- 40:25Speaker 3: his new girlfriend.
- 40:27Speaker 2: It's too soon.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Kinsey Schofield has all the details.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Welcome back.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Joining me now is celebrity and royal commentator and the
- 40:47Speaker 3: host of Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered Kinsey Schofield. Let's start with
- 40:52Speaker 3: Keith Urban. He's already moved on from our Nicole, with
- 40:56Speaker 3: reports he has moved in with a new girl, old friend, Kinsey,
- 41:00Speaker 3: what do we know about this mystery woman?
- 41:03Speaker 17: Absolutely, let's talk about her. Carly Scott Collins is the
- 41:07Speaker 17: mystery woman. She's a twenty six year old former child
- 41:10Speaker 17: actress turned country through I Know, I Know, I'm a
- 41:15Speaker 17: Paul Too Rita. She released her debut album in twenty
- 41:19Speaker 17: twenty five. She's worked with other A listers like Willie Nelson.
- 41:23Speaker 17: She has worked with Keith Urban in the past, and
- 41:26Speaker 17: she made her grand Ole Opry debut back in twenty
- 41:28Speaker 17: twenty four. Now, she has recently denied rumors of a
- 41:33Speaker 17: romantic relationship, but following his divorce with Nicole Kidman, Nicole
- 41:38Speaker 17: is clearly dominating the pr war, So one must ask
- 41:41Speaker 17: if this is just self preservation, like trying to distance
- 41:44Speaker 17: herself from Keith Urban.
- 41:49Speaker 3: It is too soon, and I'm not going to say
- 41:51Speaker 3: she's too young, but you know, as they say, love
- 41:54Speaker 3: is love, but what.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Would be the age difference?
- 41:56Speaker 9: There?
- 41:56Speaker 2: Roughly twenty five years too long?
- 42:00Speaker 4: Yeah, giving Bill Belichick. It's giving Bill Belichick.
- 42:06Speaker 2: That's extreme.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Princess Eugenie is distancing herself from her parents over the
- 42:11Speaker 3: fallout from their association, which every Epstead, Andrew Mountbatton, Windsor
- 42:16Speaker 3: and Sarah Ferguson are due to vacate the Royal Lodge as.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Soon as next week.
- 42:21Speaker 3: Kinsey and the Telegraph understands that Eugenie is frustrated that
- 42:27Speaker 3: the entire York family has been tarnished.
- 42:31Speaker 4: Look, I think that this is clever counsel.
- 42:33Speaker 17: We don't punish children for the sins of their parents,
- 42:36Speaker 17: but association matters. You are, to some extent judged by
- 42:40Speaker 17: the company you keep, and it is impossible to look
- 42:43Speaker 17: at Prince Andrew I'm sorry, ex Prince Andrew's daughters without
- 42:47Speaker 17: being reminded of the scandal and embarrassment he's brought upon
- 42:50Speaker 17: the royal family in recent years. In that context, Princess
- 42:53Speaker 17: Eugenie's efforts to distance herself are not disloyalty but self preservation,
- 42:58Speaker 17: and the further she stepped away, the safe for her
- 43:01Speaker 17: standing becomes within the monarchy.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Now, Harry and Meghan are struggling to hold onto publicists again.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Last December the eleventh eleventh Pupulicist resigned after the controversy
- 43:16Speaker 3: following their appearance at christian As a seventieth birthday party Kinsey.
- 43:20Speaker 3: They have now returned to working with Sunshine Sacks, Morgan
- 43:24Speaker 3: and Lilas. They also represent Leonardo DiCaprio and Jimmy Fallon.
- 43:30Speaker 17: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over
- 43:34Speaker 17: and over and expecting different results. Thoughts in prayers to
- 43:36Speaker 17: Sunshine Sacks, as detailed in Tom Bauer's Revenge and Valentine
- 43:41Speaker 17: Lowe's Courtiers. Meghan erupted after her twenty seventeen Vanity Fair
- 43:45Speaker 17: cover red with the headlines She's just wild about Harry Phoning,
- 43:49Speaker 17: Ken Sunshine and Keaylee Thomas Morgan of Sunshine Sacks in fury.
- 43:54Speaker 17: She also later described the headline as racist, citing its
- 43:57Speaker 17: link to a nineteen thirty nine Judy guard Land song
- 44:00Speaker 17: associated with blackface. So good luck to Sunshine Sacks. This
- 44:04Speaker 17: sounds like a nightmare from hades.
- 44:08Speaker 2: It sounds like a nightmare.
- 44:09Speaker 3: You can just see them assigning the person they hate
- 44:12Speaker 3: in the office to Harry and Meghan.
- 44:14Speaker 2: You deal with them because whatever you do, they're.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Going to be unhappy and it's going to all intend
- 44:19Speaker 3: in tears, but.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Let's stick with publicis.
- 44:22Speaker 3: Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have parted weight
- 44:27Speaker 3: with their publicis. The pair were apparently upset at their
- 44:31Speaker 3: negative portrayal in the media. Kinsey, there's top Brooklyn may
- 44:35Speaker 3: reconcile with his parents. They're saying that he wants to,
- 44:38Speaker 3: but his wife is against it.
- 44:41Speaker 4: Look.
- 44:42Speaker 17: I really love and respect Victoria and David's strategy throughout
- 44:45Speaker 17: this ordeal, which you might recognize, never complain, never explain.
- 44:50Speaker 17: Both still posts about loving their children and include photos
- 44:54Speaker 17: of Brooklyn on social media. It this has echoes of
- 44:57Speaker 17: Harry and Meghan. How appropriate that these cup seemed to
- 45:00Speaker 17: get along so wonderfully. It's my opinion that they also
- 45:04Speaker 17: have elder abuse in common.
- 45:06Speaker 4: Brooklyn, call your grandparents. They miss you.
- 45:10Speaker 17: It's not the publicist making you look like an entitled
- 45:13Speaker 17: little jerk, it's your actions.
- 45:17Speaker 2: I got to say.
- 45:18Speaker 3: I stumbled upon an Instagram video from Brooklyn Beckham. He
- 45:22Speaker 3: was making a chicken parmegana dish in the videos of
- 45:25Speaker 3: the cooking video. But I looked at the comments, and
- 45:28Speaker 3: every single comment can see that I saw was criticism.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Comments like call your mom, drop the Beckham name if
- 45:38Speaker 3: you're going to ignore your parents, and even advice telling
- 45:41Speaker 3: him to leave his wife.
- 45:43Speaker 17: I mean, you know, he has been so hateful to
- 45:46Speaker 17: his family, telling them not too long ago to not
- 45:49Speaker 17: communicate with him unless it's through his attorneys.
- 45:52Speaker 4: So I think that this is a natural reaction.
- 45:55Speaker 17: He has the platform he has today because of that
- 45:58Speaker 17: last name, because of his mom and dad, and he
- 46:00Speaker 17: should be more grateful.
- 46:01Speaker 12: For it.
- 46:04Speaker 9: Now.
- 46:05Speaker 3: New data shared with The New York Post shows that
- 46:08Speaker 3: late night shows, those late night talk shows that we
- 46:11Speaker 3: mocks off and on this program, well they're more left
- 46:14Speaker 3: than ever. Jokes targeting conservatives increased.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Ten percent in twenty twenty five.
- 46:19Speaker 3: I didn't know they had any room to increase at
- 46:22Speaker 3: Across shows that include Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Fallon,
- 46:27Speaker 3: they've had one hundred and ninety seven left leading guests
- 46:30Speaker 3: compared to just two conservative ones Kinsey. This explains why
- 46:35Speaker 3: their ratings are circling the drain and why someone like
- 46:40Speaker 3: Greg Guttfeld is just soaring on Fox News.
- 46:44Speaker 4: Yeah, these guys have killed the magic of late night.
- 46:47Speaker 17: They don't care to talk to everyone anymore or entertain everyone.
- 46:52Speaker 17: They just want to talk to their tribe. You know,
- 46:55Speaker 17: traditional late night TV isn't as dominant as it once
- 46:58Speaker 17: was analytically statistic because of this, because they've just decided
- 47:03Speaker 17: to alienate fifty percent of the country viewership and our
- 47:06Speaker 17: revenue or down, and younger viewers are tuning in elsewhere,
- 47:09Speaker 17: and networks are trying to adapt to that reality, you know,
- 47:13Speaker 17: by firing Stephen Colbert, and then Colbert wants to blame Trump.
- 47:16Speaker 4: It's all Trump's fault.
- 47:17Speaker 17: But I just think that it's that they are no
- 47:20Speaker 17: longer trying to talk to the country.
- 47:21Speaker 4: They're just trying to talk to their clique.
- 47:25Speaker 2: And they're not even trying to be entertaining or funny.
- 47:28Speaker 3: It's almost like they're preaching for applause from their increasingly
- 47:34Speaker 3: diminishing left wing audience. Amy Schumach is another lefty comic,
- 47:39Speaker 3: but her friends have weighed in on.
- 47:40Speaker 2: These bikini picks.
- 47:42Speaker 3: She's been posting lately a number of these picks, one
- 47:46Speaker 3: in a red bikini in the middle of her Manhattan apartment.
- 47:50Speaker 3: One source has told The Daily Mail that Schumerer is
- 47:53Speaker 3: craving attention. They said she is trying to deal with
- 47:55Speaker 3: the divorce and her new look, but she doesn't really
- 47:59Speaker 3: know what she is doing. It is all still new,
- 48:02Speaker 3: her new body, her new life, and her fresh divorce.
- 48:04Speaker 3: It's a lot at once.
- 48:06Speaker 17: Kinsey, reader, if I ever start doing this, if I
- 48:11Speaker 17: ever just start posting pictures in a bathing suit late
- 48:14Speaker 17: at night, I need you to start the conservatorship process.
- 48:18Speaker 17: Immediately take my internet away. Take I mean, I just
- 48:22Speaker 17: think that this look makes her look absolutely aside from insecure,
- 48:26Speaker 17: insane and congratulations on your new body, but no one
- 48:30Speaker 17: cares about you.
- 48:33Speaker 3: That is a very good point, indeed, And you can
- 48:36Speaker 3: show off that new body in a nice tight fitting
- 48:38Speaker 3: dress in the middle of winter in Manhattan in your apartment.
- 48:42Speaker 3: It's just odd to be in a red biki in
- 48:46Speaker 3: an apartment in New York, nowhere near the beach, nowhere
- 48:49Speaker 3: near the water. At least go by a pool side
- 48:51Speaker 3: and take a photo, because then people will not be
- 48:53Speaker 3: wondering what is going on.
- 48:55Speaker 2: It does seem like a bit of a cry for help.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Now before you go.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Actress Cliff Boy who's best known for her depiction of
- 49:02Speaker 3: the Queen on the Crown. She says that actors shouldn't
- 49:06Speaker 3: be weighing in on politics, She told Avy magazine. If
- 49:08Speaker 3: you're just making noise for the sake of it, then
- 49:10Speaker 3: you should probably shut up.
- 49:13Speaker 2: So I tend to shut up. This is sound advice, Kinsey.
- 49:17Speaker 4: Isn't it?
- 49:17Speaker 17: And I mean I would even say this to Nicki Minaje,
- 49:20Speaker 17: who I know. You know, I know, we're all like, oh,
- 49:22Speaker 17: Nicki minaj has come out and speaking sense, But look
- 49:25Speaker 17: at the amount of followers she lost.
- 49:27Speaker 4: If your objective is to have.
- 49:29Speaker 17: A long career and you just want to entertain and
- 49:33Speaker 17: you just want people to get lost in your world,
- 49:36Speaker 17: be careful about speaking out about politics because you will
- 49:40Speaker 17: alienate a significant amount of people, and you resk losing
- 49:45Speaker 17: you know, fans, You resk losing people that might put
- 49:47Speaker 17: money in your pocket in the future.
- 49:50Speaker 3: Kinsey' schofield, thank you so much for your time, and
- 49:53Speaker 3: that's it for me. I'll see you at eleven tomorrow night.
- 49:55Speaker 3: Newsnight is up next
- 50:01Speaker 17: Six
