- 0:00Sean McAllister: Welcome to Vegas Revealed episode 61.
- 0:03Dayna Roselli: Coming up, we talked to singer Tiffany.
- 0:06Dayna Roselli: She's in Las Vegas debuting new music.
- 0:08SPEAKER_04: You know, this opportunity arose for me to be able to come here and do it and its shadows on this trip.
- 0:14SPEAKER_04: I love the whole concept.
- 0:16Dayna Roselli: Great to catch up with Tiffany.
- 0:17Dayna Roselli: She used to live in Las Vegas, and we asked her about some of her favorite spots.
- 0:22Sean McAllister: Plus, Las Vegas is officially at 50% capacity.
- 0:26Sean McAllister: We've seen firsthand that visitors are back.
- 0:30Sean McAllister: And the results of our weekly Vegas Revealed poll.
- 0:34Sean McAllister: All right, let's spin the wheel.
- 0:47Dayna Roselli: Welcome to Vegas Revealed episode 61.
- 0:50Dayna Roselli: I'm Dana Roselli.
- 0:51Sean McAllister: And I'm Sean McAllister, and we are coming to you from a very busy Las Vegas, which is something we haven't been able to stay for about a year now, Dana.
- 1:02Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 1:03Dayna Roselli: You and I were out last weekend doing a job at Mandalay Bay, and we were like, wow, it's really busy here.
- 1:09Dayna Roselli: Like there were lots of people going out, enjoying, gambling.
- 1:13Dayna Roselli: We saw basketball teams coming in, walking behind us, didn't we?
- 1:17Sean McAllister: For the for the market, yeah, there were some uh college basketball, the regional tournaments were happening here in Las Vegas, and we saw teams that were that were loading in, loading out.
- 1:27Sean McAllister: So the activity is back, and it's it's looking like what we would expect Las Vegas to look like.
- 1:34Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it really does.
- 1:36Dayna Roselli: I was at the Venetian on Sunday at the Grand Canal shops, and boy, there were tons of people there, uh, a good amount, you know, a safe amount.
- 1:42Dayna Roselli: It wasn't crazy, but it was more than we've usually seen, actually.
- 1:45Dayna Roselli: Um, and then I noticed like the Grand Canal was open and people were doing the boat rides, there were singers back in St.
- 1:51Dayna Roselli: Mark's Square, so it just felt all right again.
- 1:54Dayna Roselli: And of course, people were still masked up.
- 1:57Sean McAllister: And and Dana, speaking of the Venetian, uh last week we talked about Legassi Stadium, which used to be our home for recording Vegas Revealed.
- 2:08Sean McAllister: There's a a broadcast studio built into that space, and we mentioned that Legassi Stadium was a victim of the pandemic.
- 2:16Sean McAllister: The restaurant shuts down.
- 2:18Sean McAllister: But the Venetian has reopened it specifically for March Madness viewing because it is set up like an arena, a sports book.
- 2:27Dayna Roselli: It's gr that place is a perfect place to watch sports, let me tell you, with the stadium seating, all the monitors on the wall.
- 2:34Dayna Roselli: So I'm so glad that they did that.
- 2:36Dayna Roselli: It makes sense because you make you definitely would make money in there.
- 2:40Dayna Roselli: Are they serving food?
- 2:41Dayna Roselli: Do we know?
- 2:42Sean McAllister: I I think they are.
- 2:43Sean McAllister: I think it's a I think they're doing, you know, bar, food.
- 2:46Sean McAllister: Uh they have it open for betting and for watching games.
- 2:49Sean McAllister: So awesome.
- 2:50Sean McAllister: That's a great thing.
- 2:51Sean McAllister: I love seeing people back in there.
- 2:53Sean McAllister: I the again, that is just temporary for March Madness, but we hope to see something more permanent setup shop there soon.
- 2:59Dayna Roselli: Yeah, for sure.
- 3:00Dayna Roselli: Hey, some news coming in today when we're recording, which is a Thursday, is about the Rio.
- 3:06Dayna Roselli: You and I often talk, and I think really all of Las Vegas talks about like what's going on at the Rio.
- 3:11Dayna Roselli: Because, well, there's not a lot going on at the Rio.
- 3:16Sean McAllister: I mean uh up until March of last year, the Chippendales were going on at the Rio.
- 3:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and we always say that was about it, right?
- 3:22Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's it's I don't know, it's in need of an upgrade.
- 3:27Dayna Roselli: Let's put it that way.
- 3:28Sean McAllister: It's been in need of an upgrade, and apparently now that's going to happen.
- 3:32Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 3:32Dayna Roselli: So, you know, it's owned by Caesars, which is now owned by El Dorado, but kept the name Caesars.
- 3:39Dayna Roselli: So all that transferring is going on, and John Castlomedes, our friend from the Review Journal, has announced today that Hyatt Hotels is going to renovate, rebrand the Rio.
- 3:52Dayna Roselli: Apparently there's 2,510 rooms in the Rio.
- 3:55Dayna Roselli: It's a big property.
- 3:56Dayna Roselli: And then one of the towers will become a Hyatt Hotel.
- 4:01Dayna Roselli: So no cost yet, no timeline specified, but some information coming in and starting to generate about the Rio becoming the Hyatt.
- 4:11Sean McAllister: Well, and it's nice to see that there is some investment happening at that property and that somebody does see the the potential because it is a huge resort.
- 4:21Sean McAllister: It is, it takes up a huge footprint, it's got a ton of convention space over there.
- 4:26Sean McAllister: That's where the World Series of Poker has been held for years.
- 4:31Sean McAllister: Uh so there is a lot of potential, but it the property is in desperate need of some TLC.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and and that could be why.
- 4:40Dayna Roselli: So I always like figure that if a hotel hasn't had upgrades in a while, that it's probably either up for sale, they plan on putting it up for sale, and they just plan on maybe the new owners being able to do with it whatever they want to do with it.
- 4:54Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 4:54Dayna Roselli: So I've always thought that about the Mirage.
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: It kind of hasn't had an update in a while either.
- 4:59Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 4:59Sean McAllister: But getting back to the Rio, uh there have been rumors for years that it was going to be sold off from the Caesars portfolio.
- 5:07Sean McAllister: There have even been rumors that it was going to be knocked down and that entire lot was going to be used for a major league baseball stadium.
- 5:15Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 5:15Sean McAllister: To woo a team.
- 5:16Dayna Roselli: I mean, makes sense.
- 5:17Dayna Roselli: It's a great spot.
- 5:18Sean McAllister: It is.
- 5:19Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I don't know that we'd miss it because we've got a bunch of different resorts going up now and opening brand new.
- 5:23Dayna Roselli: I mean, you know, I don't want to hate on the Rio.
- 5:26Dayna Roselli: I'm just saying it needs something.
- 5:27Sean McAllister: It it does.
- 5:28Sean McAllister: And apparently now it's getting it.
- 5:29Sean McAllister: So Hallelujah.
- 5:30Dayna Roselli: Well, Hocusan Group has announced that it's going to reopen one of its nightlife destinations, the one at MGM Grand, which is the club called Hakasson.
- 5:40Dayna Roselli: They own a lot of different venues as well in town, but this is their signature venue.
- 5:45Dayna Roselli: And apparently they're gonna reopen on March 26th.
- 5:48Dayna Roselli: So they're gonna do all the safety protocol stuff.
- 5:51Dayna Roselli: They can't be at the, you know, it's not gonna be like a jam-packed club floor and people bouncing up and down and jumping with no mask on or anything like that.
- 5:59Sean McAllister: I don't know if it's my age or uh a side effect from this whole pandemic thing, but going into a packed nightclub just sounds revolting to me.
- 6:12Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 6:13Dayna Roselli: I feel like it always kind of did to me before.
- 6:15Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 6:15Dayna Roselli: A little bit.
- 6:16Dayna Roselli: I didn't mind if I had a table.
- 6:18Sean McAllister: Well, a table is great.
- 6:19Dayna Roselli: But I didn't want to stand on the dance floor.
- 6:21Sean McAllister: No, getting down there and being packed in, jumping around.
- 6:26Dayna Roselli: No, I was showing you pictures.
- 6:28Dayna Roselli: I had my Facebook memories come up of when Omnia opened in 2015.
- 6:32Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 6:32Dayna Roselli: And I was in a the balcony, yeah.
- 6:34Dayna Roselli: The beebs was there, DJing.
- 6:36Dayna Roselli: It was a whole thing.
- 6:37Dayna Roselli: And you know, I don't know, we were all there and we got shuffled in and we were in this balcony table.
- 6:43Dayna Roselli: It was great.
- 6:43Dayna Roselli: You could look down on everything, but I was looking down, and I remember thinking that night, like, how do people do it?
- 6:48Dayna Roselli: Like pack in there on the dance floor for hours.
- 6:51Dayna Roselli: They just love it.
- 6:52Sean McAllister: I know.
- 6:53Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 6:53Dayna Roselli: I like to view from the balcony.
- 6:55Sean McAllister: Yeah, so do I.
- 6:56Sean McAllister: Uh, but that is good news that Hakka-san is reopening, and uh they have plenty of room.
- 7:01Sean McAllister: I mean, that that nightclub space is huge, it's multiple rooms and right.
- 7:06Sean McAllister: So if they uh operate it like a lounge, like a lot of these other nightlife venues have done, um, that should be no problem.
- 7:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and that's what they said they're doing.
- 7:15Dayna Roselli: It's gonna be a lounge.
- 7:16Dayna Roselli: You have to make a reservation, you can't just show up, and it's for hotel and non-hotel guests, general admission, and you have to, you know, make sure that you cooperate with all the local restrictions.
- 7:26Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 7:26Dayna Roselli: Well, Omni is doing that too on the balcony at Caesars.
- 7:30Sean McAllister: Right.
- 7:30Sean McAllister: So they're not opening the actual nightclub space, but it's their outdoor space that they're opening up on that second level.
- 7:37Sean McAllister: Well, uh Hakassan, welcome back.
- 7:39Sean McAllister: Good to see you.
- 7:40Dayna Roselli: Hey.
- 7:41Dayna Roselli: Um, lots of more developments coming out of Resorts World, I feel like weekly, and so that's moving along.
- 7:47Dayna Roselli: Everyone keeps asking now when is that supposed to open?
- 7:49Dayna Roselli: And you know, they did have, I think it was like a June 2021, but then now it's they've kind of gone into the language of just summer of 2021.
- 7:56Dayna Roselli: So we don't have an exact date for that yet.
- 7:58Dayna Roselli: But Virgin Hotels off the strip, uh right at Paradise, and Harmon is opening just a short time from now.
- 8:06Sean McAllister: And that's the former Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
- 8:09Sean McAllister: And there is some other progress to talk about, um, which Dana, I think we should plan on going more in depth on this next week.
- 8:17Sean McAllister: Uh, but there's a new arena being built here in Las Vegas.
- 8:21Sean McAllister: It's called the Sphere.
- 8:23Sean McAllister: It's uh set kind of back behind the Venetian, and they're just starting to put the roof onto the sphere.
- 8:32Sean McAllister: They've been building up the sides as we've gone gone along.
- 8:35Sean McAllister: It's gonna look like a big ball, as the name would suggest.
- 8:39Sean McAllister: Kind of like at Epcot Center.
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it does.
- 8:41Sean McAllister: In Florida, it does look like that.
- 8:42Sean McAllister: You know, it kind of looks like that.
- 8:44Sean McAllister: Um, but it's gonna be a state-of-the-art, uh, new arena, convention space, concert venue.
- 8:51Sean McAllister: Um, so uh I just saw that the the roof was was going up on that to make it look like a sphere.
- 8:59Sean McAllister: Um, so let's talk about that next week.
- 9:01Dayna Roselli: But that had a little bit of a pause.
- 9:04Dayna Roselli: But they say they will be finishing that.
- 9:06Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 9:07Dayna Roselli: We know that, we know that.
- 9:08Dayna Roselli: So it's it's moving along.
- 9:09Dayna Roselli: That's good, and that's gonna be super cool.
- 9:11Dayna Roselli: You're right.
- 9:12Dayna Roselli: Let's do our weekly poll.
- 9:13Dayna Roselli: How about it?
- 9:14Dayna Roselli: Dun da dun.
- 9:15Dayna Roselli: Do we have a maybe we need a theme song for this poll?
- 9:17Dayna Roselli: Possibly.
- 9:18Dayna Roselli: I might need to pop one in there.
- 9:19Dayna Roselli: I'm gonna pause for a minute and and insert song.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: And now it's time for the Vegas Revealed exclusive poll of the week.
- 9:34Dayna Roselli: That was good.
- 9:35Dayna Roselli: I like that.
- 9:35Dayna Roselli: I like that.
- 9:36Dayna Roselli: All right, podcast poll of the week.
- 9:38Dayna Roselli: Would you be more likely to choose a hotel casino that doesn't have a resort fee, or do you just stay at your favorite place no matter what?
- 9:47Sean McAllister: Well, hot damn.
- 9:49Sean McAllister: I could have seen this answer coming from five miles away.
- 9:53Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 9:54Dayna Roselli: 72.3% of you say yes.
- 9:57Dayna Roselli: Definitely you would book at a place that doesn't have a resort fee.
- 10:01Dayna Roselli: But 27.7% said no.
- 10:04Dayna Roselli: I just like my favorite place, and then they chimed in with some of their favorite places.
- 10:09Sean McAllister: Yeah, Bellagio is what uh doobie bro, that's doobie bro's favorite place to go, which is I can't argue with that.
- 10:17Sean McAllister: Uh John, a regular listener, John Duranty, says that he's ready to return to the Cosmopolitan.
- 10:24Dayna Roselli: All right, yeah, that's a favorite among a lot of people because they have great balconies, which are pretty rare on the strip.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: They are.
- 10:30Dayna Roselli: And also, we got some tweets from Velvet Rebel Music again.
- 10:35Dayna Roselli: They always love to chime in.
- 10:37Dayna Roselli: Now, he or she, I think it's a he, says, sadly, most have been de-themed.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: So they are all generic now.
- 10:45Dayna Roselli: Give me the best price.
- 10:46Dayna Roselli: That's what he would go for.
- 10:47Dayna Roselli: He does say Luxor next caliber, the coolest, but they're losing some of their personality, according to him.
- 10:53Dayna Roselli: So I told him that listen, if you love a themed hotel, the Venetian might be a good choice because it's the whole Italian theme.
- 10:58Sean McAllister: True.
- 10:59Sean McAllister: And Paris is a good option, too.
- 11:01Dayna Roselli: True.
- 11:01Dayna Roselli: I forgot about Paris.
- 11:02Dayna Roselli: See, I'm starting to what what is going on?
- 11:04Dayna Roselli: I haven't walked into Paris yet in a year, so I forgot about Paris.
- 11:08Dayna Roselli: Good one.
- 11:08Sean McAllister: Uh, then Route 661 says, I'll pay more to stay with the atmosphere I like.
- 11:14Sean McAllister: I would what would tempt me would be more of an adult-only hotel casino.
- 11:21Sean McAllister: Uh, well, then Circa Resort in downtown Las Vegas is the place for you because there are no kids allowed.
- 11:27Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 11:28Sean McAllister: Booting strollers off the floor like crazy.
- 11:31Dayna Roselli: They aren't.
- 11:31Dayna Roselli: It's one of the very rare casinos that hotels that say, no, you kids can't even stay there.
- 11:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:37Dayna Roselli: I so not an option.
- 11:39Dayna Roselli: We suggested circa to him.
- 11:41Dayna Roselli: He wrote back and said, Yes, circa's great.
- 11:42Dayna Roselli: He visited last weekend, so he already knows about circa.
- 11:45Sean McAllister: And by the way, I was kidding.
- 11:46Sean McAllister: I don't think they're literally booting strollers off the casino floor, but they're not.
- 11:50Sean McAllister: No kids allowed.
- 11:51Sean McAllister: Stay home.
- 11:52Dayna Roselli: Stay home.
- 11:53Dayna Roselli: Um, okay, that's a great poll.
- 11:55Dayna Roselli: We love everyone for chiming in.
- 11:57Dayna Roselli: And we also, by the way, when we talk about busy, I got a little note in our Vegas revealed Twitter from Brian, one of our regular listeners, as well.
- 12:07Dayna Roselli: And he drives for rideshare and he always gives us updates.
- 12:11Dayna Roselli: Oh, okay.
- 12:12Dayna Roselli: So he said uh business is definitely picking up.
- 12:15Dayna Roselli: He said he's noticed it's non-stop.
- 12:18Dayna Roselli: So he says he starts one trip and then the queue gets filled up with the next passenger to pick up.
- 12:23Dayna Roselli: However, a lot of people are waiting about 20 minutes because there aren't enough drivers back yet.
- 12:29Dayna Roselli: So he's saying, you know, not a scientific poll, but you know, they're waiting about average of 20 to 30 minutes.
- 12:34Dayna Roselli: But anyway, his uh basic tip was just make sure that you book ahead.
- 12:40Dayna Roselli: That's the best way to do it.
- 12:41Dayna Roselli: And if you didn't know, you can plan rides ahead in the app, you can book it at a certain time.
- 12:45Sean McAllister: Right.
- 12:46Sean McAllister: And just kind of diving into the numbers of Las Vegas right now, I did see something that said, and I don't think this is an official number, but just a rough estimate of where Las Vegas is right now, that uh we're at about 70% capacity with hotel rooms right now.
- 13:03Dayna Roselli: Amazing.
- 13:04Dayna Roselli: So you were, yeah, we now have 50% allowed.
- 13:06Dayna Roselli: So when we say capacity, it's up to the 50%.
- 13:10Sean McAllister: Right.
- 13:11Sean McAllister: So 70% of 50% capacity of all Las Vegas, if that makes any sense at all.
- 13:18Sean McAllister: Bottom line is people are back.
- 13:20Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 13:20Dayna Roselli: And you know, these numbers are sound silly to talk about, but I saw one of the dancers from Fantasy tweet and say, boy, 50% capacity is such a difference compared to 35.
- 13:29Dayna Roselli: Like it makes a huge difference.
- 13:30Sean McAllister: It makes a gigantic difference, especially if you're in one of the larger showrooms, which fantasy has moved into a larger showroom with their new updated production.
- 13:40Sean McAllister: And that does make a huge difference.
- 13:42Sean McAllister: If a theater of that size can be half full rather than a quarter full, I mean those are a lot more bodies.
- 13:49Dayna Roselli: Really?
- 13:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah, a huge difference.
- 13:50Dayna Roselli: Someone from the Golden Knights wrote back, I forget what like an announcement one of the announcers or uh, you know, one of the staff over there and said, Yeah, and I love the 20% capacity compared to the 15.
- 14:01Sean McAllister: Right.
- 14:01Dayna Roselli: Because they they're, you know, having 20% in the arena now.
- 14:04Dayna Roselli: And he said he noticed a huge difference with that as well.
- 14:07Sean McAllister: Yeah, and they said uh it just one of the games the other day, the Golden Knights won.
- 14:12Sean McAllister: And with those, you know, 3,500 plus fans inside T-Mobile Arena, they said that it was bananas.
- 14:19Sean McAllister: The Golden Knights came back and won at the very end of the third period, and uh people were saying it sounded like there were 18,000 fans in there, which is you know just great to have that atmosphere back, and uh obviously it has an impact on the way the team plays.
- 14:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 14:35Dayna Roselli: And you know, the governor just announced, too, that we are really making progress with vaccinations, which is great for all the staff uh that has to work on the strip as well.
- 14:45Dayna Roselli: Because I know that a lot of them have been saying, like, hey, we're out here, we're dealing, we're doing this, we're working with these people that are coming back, but we really want to be vaccinated.
- 14:52Dayna Roselli: And he announced that beginning on April 5th, all Nevadaans, 16 and older, will be eligible to schedule vaccination appointments statewide.
- 15:01Sean McAllister: Amazing.
- 15:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so big, big development there.
- 15:03Dayna Roselli: So if you're coming to Las Vegas, you know, we're gonna have a lot of people vaccinated so you can feel a little bit safer.
- 15:08Dayna Roselli: And I know he was also in his tweets yesterday, I was reading, I didn't watch the actual press conference.
- 15:13Dayna Roselli: He was saying, we're gonna be one of the safest places to visit, to, you know, conduct business, to have your convention.
- 15:20Dayna Roselli: They're really working right now to get us back in shape for all that.
- 15:24Sean McAllister: As of uh March 22nd, it's 16 and over if you have an underlying condition of any sort.
- 15:31Sean McAllister: So, you know, things are moving along really quickly here.
- 15:34Sean McAllister: We like to see that.
- 15:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's for sure.
- 15:36Dayna Roselli: We're gonna get to our interview, but we do have some sightings, celebrity sightings around town that we want to share with you coming up after our interview.
- 15:44Dayna Roselli: We've got some good ones, and these folks are not attending places on the strip.
- 15:48Dayna Roselli: They've actually hit up a bunch of downtown spots.
- 15:51Sean McAllister: Yeah, but we have another celebrity who's joining us right now.
- 15:55Sean McAllister: I can't get that 80s anthem, I think we're alone now, out of my head.
- 16:00Dayna Roselli: I thought you would sing it at least.
- 16:01Sean McAllister: I think we're alone now.
- 16:04Sean McAllister: There doesn't seem to be anyone around.
- 16:08Dayna Roselli: Singer Tiffany is in Las Vegas getting ready to do a live stream, and she's gonna have a small audience there as well, which is really cool.
- 16:17Dayna Roselli: She's debuting her new album called Shadows.
- 16:20Dayna Roselli: We're excited to have Tiffany with us.
- 16:22Sean McAllister: Tiffany, how are you?
- 16:23Sean McAllister: Welcome back to town.
- 16:24SPEAKER_04: Well, thank you.
- 16:25SPEAKER_04: I'm excited to be here.
- 16:27SPEAKER_04: I'm just running into rehearsal pretty soon.
- 16:29SPEAKER_04: So midstream, but not my makeup guys.
- 16:32SPEAKER_04: So it's really a moment with Tiffany.
- 16:34SPEAKER_04: Uh got in last night, rehearsed with the band.
- 16:37SPEAKER_04: It's gonna be awesome.
- 16:38SPEAKER_04: I'm so excited for the new music, shadows.
- 16:41SPEAKER_04: It's a year late because of COVID, of course.
- 16:44SPEAKER_04: I think we all put our little lives on hold, but now we're all coming out today doing our stuff.
- 16:49SPEAKER_04: So this is an honor, really, to be able to show my new music with my band, um, have some people in the audience and actually have some people to vibe off of, and of course, to see all the the in you know, the in interest in the new music, but everybody can buy the virtual ticket and come be a part of my world.
- 17:08SPEAKER_04: I'm thrilled.
- 17:10Sean McAllister: And and why did you choose Vegas for this big premiere?
- 17:14SPEAKER_04: Well, it makes sense.
- 17:16SPEAKER_04: Um, I used to live here for a little while.
- 17:18SPEAKER_04: I'm a Cali girl, um, but I used to live here for a while.
- 17:22SPEAKER_04: So it you know, the opportunity arose um for me to be able to come here and do it.
- 17:27SPEAKER_04: And it's shadows on the strip.
- 17:28SPEAKER_04: I love the whole concept.
- 17:30SPEAKER_04: I have family here.
- 17:31SPEAKER_04: So I have a goddaughter named Tiffany.
- 17:33SPEAKER_04: So she's my assistant today in helping me.
- 17:35SPEAKER_04: So that's a double win.
- 17:37SPEAKER_04: Um, because like everybody, it's been hard.
- 17:40SPEAKER_04: I haven't seen any family.
- 17:41SPEAKER_04: I haven't, you know, had that chance to get on a plane.
- 17:43SPEAKER_04: I got on my first plane after not flying for a while, and I don't fly well.
- 17:48SPEAKER_04: So I needed the extra love.
- 17:50SPEAKER_04: I was like, but I mean it was a good flight considering, and it's different to do all of this stuff in COVID.
- 17:56SPEAKER_04: I didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't bad at all.
- 18:00SPEAKER_04: Um, you know, so it's nice to see everybody getting back into life um and to be a part of it.
- 18:05Dayna Roselli: I was listening to a clip of the new music and it kind of sounds a little rock and roll, a little pop.
- 18:11Dayna Roselli: Is that how you describe it?
- 18:12SPEAKER_04: It's exactly it.
- 18:13SPEAKER_04: It's a little rock and roll, um, a lot of punk, actually.
- 18:17SPEAKER_04: It's got a little bit of uh influence from Blondie, Go-Go's, the Ramones, um, and then it's got a pop player, Am Tiffany.
- 18:25SPEAKER_04: So it all makes sense.
- 18:26SPEAKER_04: We've been working on it for a while.
- 18:28SPEAKER_04: I think the track Beautiful on Pieces of Me of the album prior to this really kind of showed where we were gonna go.
- 18:35SPEAKER_04: And we just took it a little step further than that.
- 18:38SPEAKER_04: Songs like Lost Inside, um Shadows the the title track, which we'll be premiering uh on Saturday, March 20th for the live stream.
- 18:47SPEAKER_04: I think you know, people are gonna go, Oh, what this is Tiffany, but it's totally appropriate, it's totally real and organic, and I've been working on it a long time, four years, in fact.
- 18:58SPEAKER_04: And um, you know, I think it's the next thing for me.
- 19:02SPEAKER_04: We've got that 80s flair that was infectious in 80s music.
- 19:07SPEAKER_04: Um, it was fun, it was kind of anthemic.
- 19:10SPEAKER_04: And I think we put that a little bit of that quality in this album.
- 19:14SPEAKER_04: So, you know, there's you can't sit down and watch a TIFF show anymore.
- 19:17SPEAKER_04: You're gonna have to get up and rock it.
- 19:20Sean McAllister: Well, and do you think that that that kind of 80s vibe where where there is that sense of of fun and excitement, uh, do you think that it's kind of that people are are yearning to have that kind of vibe in music right now?
- 19:35SPEAKER_04: Oh, definitely.
- 19:35SPEAKER_04: I mean, we've we've all been in our homes.
- 19:38SPEAKER_04: So, you know, we want to get out, we want to have fun.
- 19:40SPEAKER_04: Um, you know, there's a lot of things going on in the world uh that are very serious.
- 19:45SPEAKER_04: But, you know, on a on a side note, we also have balance.
- 19:48SPEAKER_04: We have to get out there and shake it off and have fun, and you know, it's good for our mind, our health.
- 19:53SPEAKER_04: We have to have a lot of that posity.
- 19:55SPEAKER_04: And I think music definitely is universal.
- 19:58SPEAKER_04: It makes us feel, you know, childlike, it makes us care, you know, carefree, get rid of our worries for a minute, and have a good time.
- 20:06SPEAKER_04: So I definitely want my music to be a part of that.
- 20:10SPEAKER_04: Uh and this new album is high energy.
- 20:12SPEAKER_04: And once we can be rocking out, right now I'm doing TikTok, doing the dances on TikTok, and everybody's there, they're making me laugh because they're like, I don't know how to do the dance.
- 20:21SPEAKER_04: I'm like, all right, we gotta have a dance lesson.
- 20:23SPEAKER_04: That's what we have to have.
- 20:25SPEAKER_04: So I just did a rock tail party again, going back into that tweet with Tiffany, my new company, and my cooking club.
- 20:31SPEAKER_04: My rock tail parties are exactly that.
- 20:33SPEAKER_04: I I serve cocktails, I kind of bar bartend my signature cocktails, serve food, do some numbers, do some, you know, cut a few songs.
- 20:41SPEAKER_04: But now I'm turning it into a dance lesson.
- 20:44SPEAKER_04: I get everybody up, and I'm like, you guys gotta learn to dance before we can rock it in 2021.
- 20:49SPEAKER_04: So it's been a lot, it's been a lot of fun having everybody get up after a few cocktails and they have that dance down by before before they leave, let me tell you.
- 20:58Sean McAllister: I I've seen people doing it, and people do have it down.
- 21:01Sean McAllister: And I mean, I think that that this Rock Tales with Tiffany sounds like a perfect in-person experience for Las Vegas once we can get everybody back together, you know, in a room with no restrictions like that.
- 21:13SPEAKER_04: Yes, I'm having a blast doing them.
- 21:15SPEAKER_04: You know, in COVID, you just had to rework what you love to do.
- 21:18SPEAKER_04: Food and music for me has been a big family thing.
- 21:22SPEAKER_04: I grew up with an a Lebanese grandmother, and music was always happening, and then part of my family were southern.
- 21:29SPEAKER_04: So lots of country music, and I started music when I was nine.
- 21:32SPEAKER_04: So I've been around food and music, and it makes people happy again.
- 21:36SPEAKER_04: So I went to food and um and I've been having a good time with it.
- 21:40SPEAKER_04: Let's feel what Tiffany is growing.
- 21:42SPEAKER_04: And um, you know, wherever it takes me again, we apply music to it and have a great time.
- 21:48Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 21:48Dayna Roselli: And you know, I saw you perform on I think it was the mixtape tour at Mandalay Bay, and boy, you bring the audience to their feet.
- 21:54Dayna Roselli: People love your old music, but don't you feel like it's such a great feeling to feel successful?
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: When you've got new music you can sing and then you know hits from back in the day and you can kind of mix it up.
- 22:06SPEAKER_04: It is.
- 22:07SPEAKER_04: I mean, it's great.
- 22:07SPEAKER_04: I always, I mean, if wherever you come to a tiff show, I'll always could have been all this time.
- 22:12SPEAKER_04: I think we're alone now.
- 22:14SPEAKER_04: Uh, that's my heart.
- 22:15SPEAKER_04: That's where I started.
- 22:16SPEAKER_04: It's a big honor again to have re-recorded I think we're alone now, 2019 version, rock it out a little bit, over three million views with a new video.
- 22:26SPEAKER_04: And I went to my high school on that video.
- 22:29SPEAKER_04: So again, really special stuff.
- 22:31SPEAKER_04: Bring a Norwalk girl from California.
- 22:34SPEAKER_04: You know, the original video didn't show that, but it showed Ventura Boulevard.
- 22:38SPEAKER_04: And this time I got to go back and show the studio I recorded it in.
- 22:42SPEAKER_04: My high school.
- 22:43SPEAKER_04: I had to have my old school friends were rocking it out, you know, walking down Norwalk.
- 22:48SPEAKER_04: So it was uh a big celebration of my life and a big celebration of the song.
- 22:54SPEAKER_04: And that's what we'll be doing on Saturday as well, rocking out some I think we're alone now and the dance.
- 23:00Sean McAllister: Yeah, I love it.
- 23:01Sean McAllister: And is this your first show back with uh an actual live audience?
- 23:06SPEAKER_04: It well, it is to some degree.
- 23:08SPEAKER_04: I've been doing TIF Takeovers uh in Florida.
- 23:11SPEAKER_04: So again, we do one or two songs acoustically.
- 23:15SPEAKER_04: So I have been again cooking or reworking menus.
- 23:18SPEAKER_04: So I've been around people, but as far as a full live band show with my whole band and again the new music, it's you know, I I'm so excited.
- 23:28SPEAKER_04: I'm nervous, I have to say, I just came from the gym before I'm getting ready to go to rehearsal.
- 23:34SPEAKER_04: So sorry you're getting the real life tiff today.
- 23:38SPEAKER_04: But um, you know, it's it's it's a lot of energy, the music and having the band.
- 23:43SPEAKER_04: I haven't really performed with the band.
- 23:44SPEAKER_04: We've been in rehearsals, but once those lights and everything last night on the stage, it was like, oh, your heart starts going like this.
- 23:53SPEAKER_04: So having people in the room, having the live stream, the new music, it's like all gonna come together.
- 23:59SPEAKER_04: It is nerve-wracking.
- 24:00SPEAKER_04: I'm ready for it, and I'm really, really excited more than anything.
- 24:05Dayna Roselli: Well, I think it's great that you're nervous because I think people, you know, often think that once you do things over and over, it's just like you don't, you're not nervous, you don't put a lot of pressure on yourself, but you do.
- 24:14Dayna Roselli: It's a big deal.
- 24:15SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it is a big deal.
- 24:17SPEAKER_04: I mean, I it's always been like that for me in my career because I am such an independent.
- 24:23SPEAKER_04: I'm living my dreams, and it's really, I mean, it's important to me.
- 24:26SPEAKER_04: And I love my fans, and uh, I love that we're you know, doing all these adventures together.
- 24:31SPEAKER_04: But again, I think everybody feels the same way coming out of COVID, reworking your life.
- 24:38SPEAKER_04: It is a big deal, you know.
- 24:39SPEAKER_04: You're a little nervous, you're finding yourself again, whatever, the big, the small.
- 24:44SPEAKER_04: And uh new music, debuting new music is always uh kind of a head trip a little bit.
- 24:49SPEAKER_04: But uh, you know, it's like this newfound freedom, I think, when you're coming out of COVID.
- 24:55SPEAKER_04: Uh, so it's all of those things, I think that energy.
- 24:59SPEAKER_04: But we're, you know, I'm really looking forward to 2021.
- 25:02SPEAKER_04: I got a full touring schedule as we go on with safety.
- 25:07SPEAKER_04: So check it out, TiffanyTunes.com, because we start in May and we don't end until November.
- 25:12SPEAKER_04: So, you know, fingers crossed, everything stays in line, but it's looking very good as everybody is vaccinated and we build confidence and still so so social distance and temperatures and all of those things and safety measures.
- 25:25SPEAKER_04: But a lot of my things are outdoors as well.
- 25:28SPEAKER_04: So come rock out DiffanyTunes.com.
- 25:30Sean McAllister: Having lived here in Las Vegas and now being back, do you have any insights or or like hidden gems that you always have to hit up whenever you come back into town?
- 25:43SPEAKER_04: Oh, I have, well, I love my my breakfast, uh, Mona Me in Paris, Paris.
- 25:50SPEAKER_04: That's where I haven't gone yet.
- 25:52SPEAKER_04: Um, and I'm currently um, you know, just staying in on a different side that I've never really stayed before.
- 25:59SPEAKER_04: So discovering some old school Vegas, uh, living here, I didn't really spend too much time on this trip.
- 26:06SPEAKER_04: I went to Mount Charleston all the time, took my son up there, went hiking, has discovered a lot of other things.
- 26:12SPEAKER_04: But um, we were just talking about oh what is it, Petis does?
- 26:17SPEAKER_04: Um, great old school place, and I used to take my band there.
- 26:23SPEAKER_04: Again, I just got here, so I don't know what's open, what's not.
- 26:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, uh, and you know, pretty diligent right now.
- 26:29SPEAKER_04: I gotta fit into some costumes, so I'm not gonna eat as much Italian.
- 26:32SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but yeah, but I hope to definitely return again very quickly.
- 26:36SPEAKER_04: And those are some of my favorite places, definitely.
- 26:39Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 26:39Dayna Roselli: No, I love that.
- 26:40Dayna Roselli: I love that because we often talk about the places off the strip or or the ones that people that visit here don't even know about, but it's a quick drive.
- 26:47Dayna Roselli: So we love that you said Mount Charleston.
- 26:48SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 26:49SPEAKER_04: I mean so beautiful up there.
- 26:51SPEAKER_04: People don't even know or you know what's uh what's just down the street.
- 26:55SPEAKER_04: So I had a whole different experience, like I said, and there's also I can't remember, but a bowling alley that's all neon and go there all the time because when I was living here primarily, my son was very small.
- 27:05SPEAKER_04: So I was doing other things and going into different directions and going being a mom.
- 27:10SPEAKER_04: Um, and so we had little family nights and things like that.
- 27:13SPEAKER_04: It was a whole different lifestyle.
- 27:14SPEAKER_04: I used to have a residency at the Hilton way back in the day.
- 27:18Dayna Roselli: Amazing.
- 27:19Dayna Roselli: I live right next door to there.
- 27:20Dayna Roselli: It's now the Westgate.
- 27:21Dayna Roselli: So yeah, it's a great place.
- 27:23Dayna Roselli: Great theater, great little spaces, great big theaters, everything you could ever need.
- 27:27SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 27:27SPEAKER_04: I mean, I love Vegas.
- 27:28SPEAKER_04: My family again lives here, and my dad lived here for many years.
- 27:32SPEAKER_04: So this was a place that I came often.
- 27:35SPEAKER_04: Um, and it's nice.
- 27:36SPEAKER_04: And I was here in COVID when I got trapped in LA when it first started.
- 27:41SPEAKER_04: So I moved myself here for a little bit and I stayed here for a month without any.
- 27:45SPEAKER_04: It was very I am legend.
- 27:47SPEAKER_04: It was the weirdest thing to be in Vegas when there was no one on.
- 27:51SPEAKER_04: It was very eerie, I have to say.
- 27:53Sean McAllister: That was only a year ago, and that's so hard to believe.
- 27:56SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 27:57SPEAKER_04: Right around this time, I think we were here, and I was renting an Airbnb, and uh, it just was interesting to see the lights on and some not on, and I just never would have thought I would ever see that in my lifetime.
- 28:09SPEAKER_04: But we're back up and running, so yay.
- 28:11SPEAKER_04: Yay.
- 28:12Sean McAllister: So uh the live stream on on March 20th, how can people get tickets?
- 28:18SPEAKER_04: You can go to Tiffany slash veeps.com or go to TiffanyTunes.com and that'll take you to all things tiff world.
- 28:26SPEAKER_04: And please, it's ten dollars, I think, to buy the live stream ticket.
- 28:29SPEAKER_04: We're doing uh a 60-minute set.
- 28:32SPEAKER_04: You get old school, you get pieces of me and all the new stuff, which is which is great.
- 28:37SPEAKER_04: You'll get to know what's happening before hopefully we see each other out on the road and I do live shows.
- 28:44Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean it's great.
- 28:45Dayna Roselli: So people will be able to hear the debut, watch it live uh on the live stream, and then continue to follow you by the new music.
- 28:51Dayna Roselli: We're we're super excited for you.
- 28:53Dayna Roselli: You look fabulous, by the way.
- 28:54SPEAKER_04: Oh, well, thank you.
- 28:55SPEAKER_04: I apologize.
- 28:56SPEAKER_04: I really am like you know, I'm so knee deep in production right now.
- 29:00SPEAKER_04: I am serving Rock Tales and doing Let's do with Tiffany for the after party.
- 29:04SPEAKER_04: I'm a small business, so I'm very much hands-on.
- 29:08SPEAKER_04: So I was out planning menus this morning and everything.
- 29:11SPEAKER_04: So yeah, this is this is what it looks like.
- 29:14SPEAKER_04: I have a new lipstick company coming out as well.
- 29:17SPEAKER_04: So lots of red will be walking rock, you know, rocking in 2020.
- 29:21SPEAKER_04: So I'm excited.
- 29:21SPEAKER_04: That's awesome.
- 29:26SPEAKER_04: Perfect, love that.
- 29:27SPEAKER_04: And and yeah, I thought you just have to have all these other avenues, you know.
- 29:32SPEAKER_04: Right, right.
- 29:33SPEAKER_04: Yeah, there we are.
- 29:34SPEAKER_04: I mean, we're coming out hot.
- 29:36SPEAKER_04: So I'm again, I love it.
- 29:38SPEAKER_04: Thank you guys for all the support.
- 29:39SPEAKER_04: Of course, of course.
- 29:41Sean McAllister: Tiffany, thank you.
- 29:42SPEAKER_04: Oh have a great show.
- 29:43Dayna Roselli: Thank you.
- 29:44Dayna Roselli: Love you guys.
- 29:47Dayna Roselli: Great catching up with Tiffany.
- 29:48Dayna Roselli: Who would have ever thought, right?
- 29:50Sean McAllister: I know.
- 29:50Sean McAllister: So, you know, if you're in Vegas, you may see Tiffany roaming around.
- 29:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and she's great spirit.
- 29:56Dayna Roselli: I love her energy.
- 29:57Dayna Roselli: Such a great interview.
- 29:58Dayna Roselli: It was great talking to her.
- 29:59Dayna Roselli: Um, speaking of celebrities, we have a couple sightings to mention, and uh, two of them took place in downtown Las Vegas, and everyone's going, we love this because it's showing support for local businesses.
- 30:11Dayna Roselli: And one of them was singer Usher, who was in town, um, apparently, you know, checking out Las Vegas before his residency kicks off in July at the Coliseum at Caesars Palace.
- 30:22Dayna Roselli: But he was spotted at Esther's Kitchen, which is such a great spot in downtown Las Vegas on Casino Center.
- 30:30Dayna Roselli: And it can't apparently he visited with like his team and they enjoyed this late night meal.
- 30:36Dayna Roselli: And I'll talk about what was on the menu in just a little bit, but the pictures came in and we have them on our social if you want to see.
- 30:42Dayna Roselli: It's at VegasRealed on Twitter and then at Vegas.reveed on Instagram.
- 30:46Sean McAllister: And not only did Usher go to a great establishment in downtown Las Vegas, but he took the time to hang out with his staff there too, which is so cool.
- 30:56Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 30:57Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 30:57Dayna Roselli: You know, his whole team with the staff, and then him with one of the chefs.
- 31:01Dayna Roselli: It's great to see that, and I'm sure they were super excited.
- 31:04Dayna Roselli: So apparently they enjoyed Warren Poached Pear Salad with fried goat cheese and truffle pear vinaigrette, fried cauliflower with anchovy chili and garlic, housemade spaghetti with sun gold tomatoes and basil, and pan-roasted Mary's chicken with celery, root grain, sorry, root grotten, cabbage conserve, and balsamic onions, winter squash risotto, and of course the restaurant's famous sourdough bread.
- 31:32Sean McAllister: Damn, that's a spread.
- 31:34Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 31:34Dayna Roselli: Whew, it's a lot to read there.
- 31:36Sean McAllister: And if you are coming to town, make sure to get a reservation at Esther's Kitchen during your stay because it is amazing.
- 31:46Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 31:47Dayna Roselli: Another good place that's right near there, actually, is Tacotarian.
- 31:51Sean McAllister: Yeah, and the vice president Kamala Harris just popped in unannounced.
- 31:57Sean McAllister: Uh, she was here to tout the new stimulus package, promoting uh the vaccine.
- 32:02Sean McAllister: She stopped it at one of the vaccine clinics over at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
- 32:08Sean McAllister: And then you can't always be all about business.
- 32:11Sean McAllister: You gotta stop for lunch.
- 32:13Sean McAllister: And that's exactly what Kamala Harris did stopping into Taco Terrian in downtown Las Vegas.
- 32:19Sean McAllister: That's on South Casino Center.
- 32:21Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and that's a vegan taco place, in case you're curious.
- 32:25Dayna Roselli: And it's delicious.
- 32:26Dayna Roselli: I've eaten there only one time, but it reminded me that I need to go back.
- 32:29Sean McAllister: And it's such a cute vibe inside, too.
- 32:33Sean McAllister: They do have a little doggy patio as well.
- 32:36Sean McAllister: So if you're going out to going out to lunch with your pooch, you can do that too.
- 32:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I love the post.
- 32:42Dayna Roselli: They were so excited that she showed up there and ordered from them.
- 32:45Dayna Roselli: They have pictures of her inside, and they're going, man, I didn't wake up today thinking that the vice president of the United States would walk into our restaurant, but she did.
- 32:53Dayna Roselli: And apparently she got the tip from Corey Booker, so he told her to go there.
- 32:57Sean McAllister: Oh, that's great.
- 32:58Dayna Roselli: Isn't that cool?
- 32:59Dayna Roselli: So, yeah.
- 33:00Sean McAllister: Well, and it's funny, one of the uh employees there said that uh someone from the White House came in and they just said, Hey, I'm from the White House, and the vice president is on her way here.
- 33:12Sean McAllister: And they said then their minds were blown.
- 33:14Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 33:14Sean McAllister: That is short notice.
- 33:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah, super exciting moment.
- 33:18Dayna Roselli: A friend of mine on Instagram, Chris Decker, he was getting vaccinated and the vice president was there.
- 33:24Dayna Roselli: And he's like, Not only did I get vaccinated today, but all of a sudden, the vice president's there witnessing my vaccine, and he took like a selfie with her in the background, and that was kind of cool.
- 33:35Dayna Roselli: She stopped by a location at UNLV.
- 33:36Sean McAllister: So we got photobombed by Kamala.
- 33:39Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 33:39Sean McAllister: I love that by the VP.
- 33:41Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 33:42Dayna Roselli: So that was really cool.
- 33:43Dayna Roselli: We've had about a million vaccinations here in Nevada, so we're pumping them out, and we're and we're happy about that.
- 33:50Sean McAllister: Uh, another quick sighting Donnie Osmond has been back here in Las Vegas.
- 33:54Sean McAllister: He's working on his residency, uh his solo residency, which launches at Harris, Las Vegas, coming up in August.
- 34:01Sean McAllister: So he's here with his team getting the show ready.
- 34:04Sean McAllister: And uh he just stopped by to see Tapeface.
- 34:08Sean McAllister: Oh, cool.
- 34:08Sean McAllister: Who's a fellow headliner down on the strip.
- 34:11Sean McAllister: So Donnie's here putting the, you know, doing some work on his show, supporting other headliners as well.
- 34:17unknown: Oh man.
- 34:17Dayna Roselli: Just feels like the vibe is is back.
- 34:19Dayna Roselli: So uh we're doing it safely, and hopefully more and more people will continue to visit Las Vegas as we try and bounce back from a very tough year, just like the rest of the world's had.
- 34:30Sean McAllister: All right, and uh, we're gonna do a little bit of a modified tips this week, and we're gonna springboard off of what Tiffany said.
- 34:37Sean McAllister: If you were listening, she said, you know, a drive up to Mount Charleston is always nice.
- 34:41Sean McAllister: It's about 45 minutes off the Las Vegas Strip.
- 34:43Sean McAllister: And once you drive up the top of the mountain, it's like a whole new world up there.
- 34:47Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 34:48Dayna Roselli: And Batista's Hole in the Wall is a classic.
- 34:51Dayna Roselli: Uh, it's always on, like if you search like travel channel stuff, like what are the places that you have to hit in Las Vegas?
- 34:56Dayna Roselli: Batista's Hole in the Wall is always one of them.
- 34:59Sean McAllister: Yeah, and uh Gordy is the accordion player who has been there for decades.
- 35:04Sean McAllister: Did you know he's actually from Buffalo, New York?
- 35:06Dayna Roselli: No, I didn't realize that.
- 35:08Sean McAllister: He grew up in Buffalo, New York.
- 35:09Sean McAllister: I went I did an interview with him a couple years ago, and uh he doesn't reveal his age.
- 35:15Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 35:15Sean McAllister: He's very secretive about that.
- 35:17Sean McAllister: But man, he straps on that squeeze box and marches around the restaurant giving giving songs to table side.
- 35:25Sean McAllister: It's great.
- 35:26Dayna Roselli: He is great.
- 35:26Dayna Roselli: And you know, the restaurant the restaurant is interesting.
- 35:29Dayna Roselli: It's like the menus on the wall and like things like just come together.
- 35:32Dayna Roselli: Like you always get like your cappuccino at the end, and your your you pick like a super salad at the beginning, and then your entree.
- 35:40Sean McAllister: Um and you have carafes of bottomless red and white wine.
- 35:44Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 35:44Dayna Roselli: Yes, I forgot about that.
- 35:46Sean McAllister: Bottomless red and white wine.
- 35:48Dayna Roselli: Oh man, it's good.
- 35:49Sean McAllister: Okay, so here's the tip: if you go to Batistas, have one person order red wine and the other person order white wine, and then you just keep having it refilled.
- 35:59Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, that is a great tip.
- 36:01Dayna Roselli: A really good tip.
- 36:02Sean McAllister: You can mix them together and have a blush.
- 36:04Dayna Roselli: Listen, so I love Batistas, but as an Italian, I must say I was a little fussy about the food there.
- 36:10Dayna Roselli: So if you are Italian and you love your Italian food, eye over the menu and pick something that, you know, maybe you wouldn't be so picky about, that it doesn't really matter so much how it's made.
- 36:23Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 36:23Dayna Roselli: It's the sauce thing for me.
- 36:24Sean McAllister: Yeah, but it's a vibe.
- 36:26Sean McAllister: It's a vibe, it's the vibe that you go for.
- 36:28Sean McAllister: I love it.
- 36:28Dayna Roselli: I'm just trying to be honest.
- 36:30Dayna Roselli: I don't always want to be like, you know, remember this.
- 36:32Dayna Roselli: But it's a fun place that and it doesn't matter in the end.
- 36:36Dayna Roselli: I'm just saying, if you're, you know, if you're going for like you think you're going in to get top of the line Italian meal, Batistas might not be your spot.
- 36:45Dayna Roselli: That's why it's called Hole in the Wall.
- 36:47Sean McAllister: Exactly.
- 36:48Sean McAllister: But you'll remember it.
- 36:49Sean McAllister: You'll remember your visit for sure.
- 36:52Dayna Roselli: I love it there.
- 36:53Dayna Roselli: Been many, many times.
- 36:54Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 36:55Dayna Roselli: Um, that's it for us today, I think.
