- 2:18Speaker 1: Well we can confer after. I'm sure that it's right,
- 2:23Speaker 1: because these scenes get more expensive every single time. Stuck.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I want to start with you. You are a Service
- 2:32Speaker 1: Academy loyalist. You have always loved betting Service Academy games.
- 2:38Speaker 1: You seem to have a beat every year on how
- 2:40Speaker 1: these game games are going to play out. We've got
- 2:44Speaker 1: a very special service Academy game Army Navy on Saturday.
- 2:49Speaker 1: How are you thinking about it right now? Yeah, I
- 2:51Speaker 1: remember going to this game, you know, when he used
- 2:54Speaker 1: to be in Philly went growing up. I grew up
- 2:55Speaker 1: outside of Philly and my dad would take me. And
- 2:58Speaker 1: I remember the Clinton when he was president. I was
- 3:02Speaker 1: really young, so I can barely remember. But Bill Clinton
- 3:05Speaker 1: came into our section and then Secret Service had to
- 3:08Speaker 1: come and clear at first. That was my first memory
- 3:10Speaker 1: of this game. But yeah, I love this game every year.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I love the Service Academy teams that they played each
- 3:15Speaker 1: other because it's such a unique game. But those who
- 3:18Speaker 1: aren't familiar with the Service Academy football teams, they play
- 3:21Speaker 1: the triple option, and the reason they do that is
- 3:23Speaker 1: they're not getting the same caliber athletes and recruits that
- 3:27Speaker 1: some of these you know Power five schools and even
- 3:30Speaker 1: other schools get. So their competitive advantage now is they
- 3:35Speaker 1: played this unique style that on a week to week basis,
- 3:38Speaker 1: when they go and play someone they're not used to
- 3:40Speaker 1: seeing the triple option and it's all about you know, discipline,
- 3:44Speaker 1: and it's just a different offensive at the state and
- 3:46Speaker 1: it's kind of like a shock to your system for defenses.
- 3:49Speaker 1: But when they play each other, they have all the
- 3:52Speaker 1: familiarity in the world with it because they practice against
- 3:54Speaker 1: each other every day of the year, so they're practically
- 3:58Speaker 1: against the triple option defense, and they know how to cover,
- 4:01Speaker 1: they know the assignments, they know how to stay discipline,
- 4:03Speaker 1: who gets the pitchman, who gets the uh, who gets
- 4:06Speaker 1: the running back, and you know all the motion and
- 4:09Speaker 1: how to how to defend the fullback dive. So when
- 4:12Speaker 1: they play each other a lot of times, especially arm
- 4:14Speaker 1: the Navy, these are really low scoring games because you know,
- 4:18Speaker 1: number one, they're running it the entire game. Both teams
- 4:22Speaker 1: the clocks always running. They're going for a lot of
- 4:25Speaker 1: fourth downs, so it's like fourth and one height, we'll
- 4:27Speaker 1: go for it. You just get two yards and then
- 4:29Speaker 1: you keep going and going and going, and then it's
- 4:31Speaker 1: really hard to score because both teams are familiar with
- 4:34Speaker 1: the other offense and they know how to defend it.
- 4:36Speaker 1: So you get these rock fights and I love them.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And that's the reason why Army Navy has gone under
- 4:42Speaker 1: the total fifteen straight years. And if you bet all
- 4:47Speaker 1: service academies, so Army Navy, Air Force, whenever they play
- 4:50Speaker 1: each other every year, unders and Service guid of games
- 4:53Speaker 1: are thirty eight and ten just under since two thousand five.
- 4:59Speaker 1: So that's why betting Army Navy is fascinating. Well, I
- 5:03Speaker 1: will tell everybody the total right now is thirty six
- 5:05Speaker 1: and a half. Army is a seven and a half
- 5:09Speaker 1: point favorite. It opened at eight. Say boy, like, I
- 5:14Speaker 1: would love to know, as someone who is steeped in
- 5:19Speaker 1: the SEC, why the funk would you care about Army Navy?
- 5:23Speaker 1: You know the tradition of the game. I think it's
- 5:25Speaker 1: the top five rivalry in sports just because of the cache.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And it's kind of you know, like like going to
- 5:30Speaker 1: the place you always go to eat, but ordering something
- 5:33Speaker 1: you've never ordered before. Like you go to the place
- 5:35Speaker 1: and you always order a type sandwich. You go in
- 5:37Speaker 1: there one day you're like, you know what, I'm gonna
- 5:38Speaker 1: mix it up. I'm gonna get something different. That's what
- 5:40Speaker 1: this game is gonna give you. Because I mean, Stuck's right,
- 5:43Speaker 1: Study's right, the biggest thing for Army and maybe they
- 5:45Speaker 1: can't go get the six pound offensive lineman number one.
- 5:48Speaker 1: A lot of those guys don't fit in submarines or planes,
- 5:51Speaker 1: and I guess David Robinson fitness submarines that may may
- 5:54Speaker 1: kill that theory, but they're unable to go get the
- 5:56Speaker 1: guys you see that can pass pro against you know,
- 5:58Speaker 1: legitimate four down TA tem legitimate three down teams that
- 6:01Speaker 1: bring pressure. And the triple option is tough. It's it's
- 6:03Speaker 1: a built in advantage because like jay Z said, less
- 6:06Speaker 1: is more man, there's plenty of us. The less guys
- 6:08Speaker 1: that are running a certain type thing, the more type,
- 6:11Speaker 1: the more exotic that thing is. Uh. And betting these
- 6:13Speaker 1: games are tough because you know, the rivalry game, they're
- 6:15Speaker 1: both gonna get up for it. They hear about it
- 6:17Speaker 1: all year. Uh. You know, for example, you look at
- 6:19Speaker 1: the way Auburn got up for Alabama and and how
- 6:21Speaker 1: they played Alabama compared to the way that Georgia did.
- 6:24Speaker 1: There was extenuating circumstances there. But you know, I look
- 6:27Speaker 1: at this game. Navy has had one of their least
- 6:29Speaker 1: talented teams that I've seen under under coach Cannon up there.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Uh that you know, played well against Cincinnati, but they're
- 6:35Speaker 1: not able to really consistently move the ball the quarter
- 6:37Speaker 1: but they're not able to hit home runs with the
- 6:38Speaker 1: quarterback like they were with Keenan Reynolds and some guys
- 6:41Speaker 1: in the past, you know the system they run. You
- 6:44Speaker 1: know you want you go nine, ten, eleven, twelve plays.
- 6:47Speaker 1: But in the past, Navies or excuse me, Army has
- 6:49Speaker 1: been able to kind of our Navy has been able
- 6:51Speaker 1: to quick strike you with with with guys that can move,
- 6:53Speaker 1: but Armies a better team. Having said that, I like
- 6:56Speaker 1: Navy plus seven and a half because I think it
- 6:57Speaker 1: is gonna be a rock fight. I think it's gonna
- 6:59Speaker 1: be lows boring. Navy is gonna get up for this game.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So I like maybe plus seven and a half. But
- 7:04Speaker 1: you know, you bet it because we hadn't had a
- 7:05Speaker 1: game in a while too. It feels like and it's
- 7:07Speaker 1: the only one, so hell. You know, if you like
- 7:09Speaker 1: Betton college football, there it is. Simon. Is it a
- 7:12Speaker 1: the Gen Special, Yeah, it's And like Stucky said, it's
- 7:16Speaker 1: a blind under every year, even if they made a thirty,
- 7:18Speaker 1: I might still think about betting the under. It's a
- 7:20Speaker 1: It's at that point now where every year every pro
- 7:23Speaker 1: I talked to was like, no, this is the year
- 7:24Speaker 1: is probably gonna go over and it's like, why why
- 7:27Speaker 1: go against the trend? Just keep betting the under, don't
- 7:29Speaker 1: overthink it. Don't try to be the smartest one the
- 7:32Speaker 1: rest of our lives. This is a bet I'll always make.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'll always bet the under. It doesn't matter if they
- 7:36Speaker 1: hit the over five straight years. To keep ryding this trend,
- 7:39Speaker 1: it's it's at the point now where you just said
- 7:41Speaker 1: it's over the last couple of years. Just a Navy,
- 7:45Speaker 1: Air Force, Army matchups just always tend towards lean the under.
- 7:48Speaker 1: So the fact you're getting thirty six now, it's it's
- 7:51Speaker 1: a gift. I saw some books headed down at thirty
- 7:52Speaker 1: or four. I love when h Philly guys like Simon
- 7:56Speaker 1: and Stucky talk about a game being a rock fight,
- 8:00Speaker 1: because I feel like Philly guys have probably been in
- 8:04Speaker 1: rock fights. They know literally what that is. Like. Yeah,
- 8:07Speaker 1: I would say the closest we get is we would
- 8:09Speaker 1: play football on the street, tackle football, so not not
- 8:12Speaker 1: any one's front yard. You would just go in the
- 8:14Speaker 1: street and play football. That was definitely the closest I
- 8:16Speaker 1: came to a rock fight, y'all, booed Santa claus Man.
- 8:21Speaker 1: We threw batteries at him, and it wasn't the power
- 8:24Speaker 1: of the sleigh. Snowballs, snowballs filled with batteries at New
- 8:29Speaker 1: York Football Giants on the sidelines one year two. Yeah,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and just to close up the Army Navy discussion, I
- 8:34Speaker 1: do like Navy plus seven and a half as well. Look,
- 8:36Speaker 1: the markets starting to catch up to this. We're talking
- 8:38Speaker 1: about it. People have been talking about it. The average
- 8:41Speaker 1: over under from two thousand five to eighteen was fifty.
- 8:45Speaker 1: The last three years it's down the thirty seven. If
- 8:47Speaker 1: the total was thirty five and all the Army Navy games,
- 8:50Speaker 1: the under would have only went seven and nine. The
- 8:52Speaker 1: markets started to get close. I make it thirty three.
- 8:54Speaker 1: There's gonna be a lot of wind, and the Army
- 8:56Speaker 1: could actually throw it a little bit now, but so
- 8:57Speaker 1: I think that hurts their their passing game. All right.
- 9:01Speaker 1: There are actual college football playoff lines out right now,
- 9:05Speaker 1: even though the game's not for another three weeks. There
- 9:10Speaker 1: is an opportunity sort of in the first few days
- 9:13Speaker 1: to make a play and then the lines settle in
- 9:17Speaker 1: for a while. Stuck looking at this Georgia eight and
- 9:21Speaker 1: a half over Michigan Alabama two touchdowns over since total
- 9:26Speaker 1: forty four and a half Georgia Michigan fifty eight Alabama
- 9:29Speaker 1: since Have you made any bets on these games, where
- 9:32Speaker 1: do you see the greatest value so far? I did
- 9:35Speaker 1: play Cincinnati. A couple of books put it out a
- 9:38Speaker 1: sixteen and a half, which I thought was crazy. That
- 9:40Speaker 1: was way too high. So I got a little bit
- 9:42Speaker 1: down there, settled a little bit. At fourteen, you can
- 9:45Speaker 1: get a little bit more. I played fourteen on Cincinnati.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I think that number is too high as well. Alabama
- 9:52Speaker 1: looked phenomenal against Georgia, playing for everything, but we've seen
- 9:57Speaker 1: Alabama this year. I think it's namely because of their
- 10:00Speaker 1: young offensive line and secondary. They've been very inconsistent. You know,
- 10:05Speaker 1: you see them one week they look on stopfold. The
- 10:07Speaker 1: next week, you know they look like, oh wow, they
- 10:09Speaker 1: barely escaped Auburn, they barely escaped LSU, they barely escaped Florida.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So I think this is too many points, especially when
- 10:16Speaker 1: you consider that John Metchi, They're they're, you know, leading
- 10:19Speaker 1: receiver who was nineties six catches on the year, is
- 10:22Speaker 1: going to be out for this game. They don't really
- 10:24Speaker 1: have a third receiver and they haven't really needed one,
- 10:26Speaker 1: but someone else is gonna have to step up besides
- 10:29Speaker 1: Jamison Williams. And the difference what I think the difference
- 10:31Speaker 1: between Since and Georgia. Georgia got no pressure on Alabama
- 10:35Speaker 1: number one, which is the most surprising aspect that album
- 10:37Speaker 1: offensive line played well. But since Cincinnati has a much
- 10:41Speaker 1: better secretary than Georgia, they have the best corner in
- 10:43Speaker 1: the country in my opinion. In mot Gardner is probably
- 10:45Speaker 1: gonna go in the top ten in the NFL draft.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Who's given up zero touchdowns and over a thousand snaps.
- 10:50Speaker 1: He's given up a hundred and seventeen yards total on
- 10:53Speaker 1: the year. He takes away one side of the field,
- 10:56Speaker 1: so you know, and Kobe Bryant is also gonna be
- 10:59Speaker 1: playing in the NFL at corners like that. I mean,
- 11:01Speaker 1: their secondary is excellent, so I think Cincinnati secondary can
- 11:05Speaker 1: hang here. I don't think they're gonna get some flukes
- 11:07Speaker 1: to win the game, but I think two touchdowns is
- 11:08Speaker 1: too much. I think this line should be closer to ten.
- 11:10Speaker 1: When I'm looking at Cincinnati Bama. My biggest thing when
- 11:14Speaker 1: I look at this game and and at fourteen, I'm
- 11:16Speaker 1: gonna take Bama minus fourteen for a couple of reasons, Cincinnati,
- 11:20Speaker 1: I agree Stucky uh Sauce. Gardner is one of the
- 11:24Speaker 1: most top corners in the country. I don't think he's
- 11:26Speaker 1: seen Jamison though, and I'm wondering. I'm wondering and assuming
- 11:30Speaker 1: he's probably gonna follow him around, especially now that Metchi's out.
- 11:33Speaker 1: The biggest thing that having Metchi out hurts Bama is
- 11:36Speaker 1: now they can bracket Jamison Williams a whole heck of
- 11:39Speaker 1: a lot easier without having to worry about getting their
- 11:41Speaker 1: pants pulled down on the back end. You can only
- 11:42Speaker 1: bracket so many people. But the difference to me is
- 11:46Speaker 1: and will always be up front and at the tight
- 11:48Speaker 1: end position. You know, it's a game of matchups that
- 11:50Speaker 1: will always be a game of matchups. You look at
- 11:52Speaker 1: Law to a guy that I think is snuck under
- 11:54Speaker 1: the radar this year, showed up big against Miami, has
- 11:56Speaker 1: made some big plays, kind of disappeared in the middle
- 11:58Speaker 1: of the year. Saw him a little bit against Auburn,
- 12:01Speaker 1: especially in the overtime, But his blocking has gotten so
- 12:04Speaker 1: much better throughout the year. Billingsley is is a matchup problem.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I mean, a guy that's over six ft four fifteen
- 12:10Speaker 1: pounds that can put outside and go win the jump ball.
- 12:13Speaker 1: But I love the inside and I love the scene.
- 12:15Speaker 1: You know, Cincinnati is pretty good in the back end. Uh.
- 12:18Speaker 1: You know, I I would say when you look at
- 12:20Speaker 1: them and Georgia from a draft standpoint, Sauce is obviously
- 12:23Speaker 1: gonna be the first guy that goes. But I think
- 12:24Speaker 1: depth wise, Georgia has them there. And I don't think
- 12:27Speaker 1: Cincinnati's seen anything like Alabama. I mean, they struggled with Navy,
- 12:30Speaker 1: you struggle with Tulsa and with game day there. But
- 12:34Speaker 1: the game always comes down to upfront for me, and
- 12:35Speaker 1: I don't think Cincinnati is going to be able to
- 12:37Speaker 1: get pressure on Bryce Young, and when they do, I
- 12:39Speaker 1: don't think that they'll be able to get them down.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Brian Robinson's gonna be healthier. Jason McClellan is a guy
- 12:44Speaker 1: that is looking to get back that was leading Alabama
- 12:47Speaker 1: and touchdowns before he got hurt. And if Cincinnati can't
- 12:50Speaker 1: stop the run, you gotta start Robin Peter to pay
- 12:52Speaker 1: Paul in the box. And when you do that against Alabama,
- 12:54Speaker 1: with a guy like Bryce Young that can extend plays,
- 12:57Speaker 1: they're gonna hit big plays, whether it's on crossers, whether
- 12:59Speaker 1: it's hitting back shoulders for chunk plays fifty five. And
- 13:02Speaker 1: then when they get in the red zone, you're gonna
- 13:04Speaker 1: see the tight end in that play action game in
- 13:06Speaker 1: Bryce's running ability, which if you watch Bryce throughout the year,
- 13:09Speaker 1: He's gotten so much more economical and more efficient in
- 13:12Speaker 1: the run game. You know, we do the show with
- 13:13Speaker 1: them every Monday. And one thing that he's talked about
- 13:15Speaker 1: his understanding. Hey, when they're in man and their backs
- 13:18Speaker 1: turn and I can escape up through the pocket, I
- 13:20Speaker 1: need to start going more because it just hits such
- 13:22Speaker 1: a built in advantage against the defense because you're playing
- 13:25Speaker 1: with less than a hat really than the offense when
- 13:26Speaker 1: you look at it truly with what Bryce can do.
- 13:29Speaker 1: So I do like Alabama. Then defensively, you're getting Chris
- 13:31Speaker 1: Allen back. I don't think Cincinnati will be able to
- 13:35Speaker 1: consistently drive the ball on Alabama's defense. I don't know
- 13:38Speaker 1: if they can protect will Anderson. I don't know if
- 13:40Speaker 1: the National Guard could protect if Will Anderson really wanted
- 13:43Speaker 1: to get in there. So I do like Bama. I
- 13:46Speaker 1: love their physicality, Nick Saban. They may not get up
- 13:49Speaker 1: sometimes for regular season games, and and they haven't this
- 13:51Speaker 1: year with a young team, but if you look, they
- 13:53Speaker 1: made some movement and some decisions on the offensive line,
- 13:56Speaker 1: McLoughlin moving guys around and found something they liked. And
- 13:59Speaker 1: if you can, Georgia, I promise you can block Cincinnati.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I think Nick wants to make a statement. They're still
- 14:05Speaker 1: using the underdog role even though they're number one, because
- 14:07Speaker 1: at the end of the day, Nick Saban is master splinter.
- 14:11Speaker 1: It was just a couple of weeks ago we had
- 14:13Speaker 1: J Boy on, we had Colin on and I sat here,
- 14:15Speaker 1: look at the camera. I said, take Obama. It was
- 14:18Speaker 1: plus six hundred National Championship. Well say that they're in
- 14:22Speaker 1: the final four. It feels like you're at the point
- 14:25Speaker 1: now where it's yese sees you know, title to lose.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Georgia's favorite, big favorite, damn is a big favorite. We
- 14:32Speaker 1: know the public's gonna be coming in on Michigan. We
- 14:34Speaker 1: know the publics canna be coming in on since it's
- 14:36Speaker 1: It's gonna be interesting watching these lines move up and
- 14:39Speaker 1: down this upcoming week. J But do you feel like
- 14:42Speaker 1: it's the SEC's title to lose? I mean, the way
- 14:44Speaker 1: these matchups are we do for Obama Georgia rematch. I
- 14:48Speaker 1: I know that's what the sponsors want, you know, That's
- 14:50Speaker 1: how I guarantee you that's what they want. But yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 1: look and again, look Cincinnati is a great story to me.
- 14:57Speaker 1: But you know what else is a great story, Little
- 14:58Speaker 1: Red Riding Hood and I MCBAMA to beat them too.
- 15:01Speaker 1: And I've got a ton of respect for Luke Fickle.
- 15:03Speaker 1: He's going into the Power five and the Big twelve,
- 15:05Speaker 1: uh and and the Skies the limit for that guy's
- 15:07Speaker 1: an unbelievable coach. But again, look, Bama is still pissed.
- 15:10Speaker 1: That's the thing. It's a guy that grew up in Alburn, Alabama.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I know when Bama's pissed. I can see pissed Obama.
- 15:15Speaker 1: And they have been inconsistent, but I think they're starting
- 15:18Speaker 1: to put it together, and they show up for these games.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Nick Salman shows up for these postseason games, and you've
- 15:23Speaker 1: got tons of time with Bill O'Brien, who is literally
- 15:26Speaker 1: the Wizard of Oz. The more time you give them.
- 15:28Speaker 1: But looking at Georgia, I think this is a horrible
- 15:30Speaker 1: matchup for Michigan. You're not gonna go eight, nine, ten, eleven,
- 15:33Speaker 1: twelve plays consistently on Georgia and Cade McNamara is not
- 15:36Speaker 1: gonna throw you two wins. Cade mcnamarian stetson Bennett. I
- 15:39Speaker 1: swear the same person just like Jamison Williams and Jalen Waddle,
- 15:42Speaker 1: I swear are the same person. Michigan's got good players,
- 15:45Speaker 1: but I don't think they're going to be able to
- 15:47Speaker 1: score enough against Georgia. And Georgia, I think it's gonna
- 15:50Speaker 1: be able to hit enough plays. George Pickens coming back
- 15:52Speaker 1: is huge for the one on one, especially inside the
- 15:54Speaker 1: red zone. You're gonna get George Obama just because gravity's
- 15:57Speaker 1: gravity man stuck you get the final word. Yeah, I
- 16:01Speaker 1: just think we're we're having too much recency buys with
- 16:03Speaker 1: this Alabama. They aren't the Alabama team of last year
- 16:06Speaker 1: that was historically great. There's a reason this team. You're
- 16:09Speaker 1: telling me they didn't show up to play Auburn, their rival. No, No,
- 16:12Speaker 1: well Alburn Alabama, Man, I mean you can throw the
- 16:14Speaker 1: records out. I mean that's that's all right. Yeah, they
- 16:17Speaker 1: showed up for that game. So since the albaver gonna
- 16:19Speaker 1: show for this game l s U, I mean they
- 16:21Speaker 1: should have lost that game. They went twenty to fourteen
- 16:23Speaker 1: against up that and beat up and just completely ravaged
- 16:27Speaker 1: LSU team. They you know, beat an Arkansas team that
- 16:31Speaker 1: gets shut out by a couple opponents and have to
- 16:34Speaker 1: beat the five at home. Um, it's the team that
- 16:37Speaker 1: should have lost. The Florida was outplayed by what turned
- 16:40Speaker 1: out to be a bad Florida team. This team has
- 16:42Speaker 1: not been consistent all year. We see they have a
- 16:44Speaker 1: lot of talent, so we see flashes and then the
- 16:47Speaker 1: next week it's like, oh, what's wrong with this team?
- 16:49Speaker 1: They lose to zac Calzatta. You make zac Calzatta look good.
- 16:52Speaker 1: No one did that all year except Alabama. It was
- 16:55Speaker 1: thirty eight a Texas and takes four games for Texas
- 16:58Speaker 1: m to square that many points. So this team is
- 17:00Speaker 1: just so much recent biased. Last week it was Georgia,
- 17:04Speaker 1: and I didn't like Georgia last week, but it was
- 17:06Speaker 1: Georgia amount of six and half. Georgia's gonna kill Alabama.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Albama is one good performance. It's one game, and now
- 17:11Speaker 1: everyone just says, oh Albama. Well, I I don't think
- 17:13Speaker 1: you can use the term recency bias with Nick Saban,
- 17:16Speaker 1: who's dominated the sport going on a decade. I mean,
- 17:19Speaker 1: if that's recency bias, then then I don't know, you know,
- 17:22Speaker 1: why would we look in the past about anything? Why
- 17:24Speaker 1: do we look at trends? I don't think you can
- 17:26Speaker 1: compare Texas A and M with the Navy or s
- 17:29Speaker 1: m U. If you give Alabama that schedule, they're pulling
- 17:31Speaker 1: everybody's pants down, probably by five to thirty five. And
- 17:35Speaker 1: and this isn't a went off. Hey we're playing in
- 17:37Speaker 1: the minor Key Car Care Bowl and eight of our
- 17:39Speaker 1: starters are opting out. You're gonna get the full weight
- 17:42Speaker 1: of it. And you know, the Georgia Abama game, to
- 17:44Speaker 1: me that that's been the biggest hunt for Georgia. I
- 17:46Speaker 1: had Georgia winning that game. I thought they'd win seven
- 17:49Speaker 1: to ten points. It's amazing they keep getting up and
- 17:51Speaker 1: blowing it, whether it's halftime or getting up tendo in
- 17:53Speaker 1: the first quarter. I just don't see how you can
- 17:55Speaker 1: can look at that SEC schedule and then look at
- 17:58Speaker 1: Cincinnati schedule and say, you know, man, I just I
- 18:01Speaker 1: think we can compare losses. So if we're gonna say
- 18:03Speaker 1: that they barely beat A and M, Cincinnati barely beat Navy,
- 18:07Speaker 1: who's three and eight. They beat Tulsa by what had
- 18:10Speaker 1: to stop Tulsa at the goal line with game day there,
- 18:13Speaker 1: and we want to compare that to an Arkansas team
- 18:15Speaker 1: that won eight games and destroyed Texas. Even though that
- 18:18Speaker 1: seems to be a habit. So we're talking about showing up.
- 18:22Speaker 1: It's one thing if Jack Nicholson shows up to act,
- 18:24Speaker 1: and another thing if a B list actor shows up
- 18:26Speaker 1: to act. So I think if we're gonna use bias,
- 18:28Speaker 1: let's make sure we look at the draft and say, wow,
- 18:30Speaker 1: that's he sees one eleven out of the last fifteen
- 18:32Speaker 1: national championships, they absolutely dominate the draft. We're not talking
- 18:38Speaker 1: about winning the game. We're talking about covering fourteen. No,
- 18:40Speaker 1: that that's what I'm saying. I wouldn't. I wouldn't go
- 18:43Speaker 1: to win the game. No, No, it's I'm not arguing
- 18:45Speaker 1: to win. I'm arguing. If we're gonna say recency bias,
- 18:48Speaker 1: how can we say recently bias against Alabama. That's like saying, well,
- 18:51Speaker 1: Leo DiCaprio's mad, he's made good movies, but this next
- 18:54Speaker 1: movie coming out it's probably gonna suck. I mean, I
- 18:56Speaker 1: don't think you can use that use that optic when
- 18:59Speaker 1: you're using Cincinnattie and and Bama. You can use it
- 19:02Speaker 1: with Georgia and Obama, but I don't think you can
- 19:04Speaker 1: use it with Cincinnati Obama. But that still makes it fun.
- 19:06Speaker 1: And we'll see yeah, I mean it's still a market
- 19:08Speaker 1: data that. I mean. Now, the look at line for
- 19:10Speaker 1: Georgia Obama's one I mean it was it was just
- 19:13Speaker 1: six and a half. It's through five and a half
- 19:15Speaker 1: points and after one game. So obviously the and the
- 19:18Speaker 1: public has say say in this game, in this market,
- 19:20Speaker 1: at this time of the year. I just think that
- 19:22Speaker 1: this Albama team is nowhere close, nowhere close to what
- 19:25Speaker 1: this team was last year, which is a historically great team.
- 19:28Speaker 1: There's still lapses in the second dary in certain games.
- 19:31Speaker 1: If the offensive line is gonna play like it did
- 19:33Speaker 1: last week all year, then yeah, the offense is gonna
- 19:35Speaker 1: be great. But we've seen that for one game. So
- 19:38Speaker 1: I still think that this Alabama team is the second
- 19:41Speaker 1: best team in the country. I still have Georgia, I
- 19:45Speaker 1: agree with you on that. Where let's send down an agreement.
- 19:49Speaker 1: This is the beauty of the playing the game idea.
- 19:53Speaker 1: We're gonna know on the thirty one? Was Stucky right?
- 19:57Speaker 1: Was he right to buy sixteen and a half? Was
- 20:00Speaker 1: right to buy fourteen? On Cincinnati? I don't know. Personally,
- 20:05Speaker 1: I want to see Alabama Michigan in the title game.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I think that's going to be a more interesting matchup
- 20:10Speaker 1: UH nationally than Alabama Georgia. Michigan is a great story.
- 20:16Speaker 1: To me, It's about the narrative. Michigan is a great story.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Michigan's fan base is bigger Northeast. Totally true. By the way,
