Transcript
- 0:01One of the best pieces of advice that I have ever gotten was from an executive at the oil company that I worked for a long time ago, and he said,"Just give it two weeks.
- 0:14Just give it two weeks and then re-evaluate." And I have to tell you, I have been going through some really stressful things, but I have found that I made it worse than it really was.
- 0:26And today we're gonna talk about manifesting positivity through a difficult time using Reality Transurfing.
- 0:36You are listening to Kathie's Coaching podcast.
- 0:40I'm your host, Kathie Owen.
- 0:41I have been a certified fitness trainer, certified life coach since 2002.
- 0:47On this channel, we talk about having a growth mindset, healthy habits, fitness, and even some Reality Transurfing and today we are talking.
- 0:57Transurfing on Thursday or whatever day it is, but today we are talking Reality Transurfing and we are going to discuss advantage.
- 1:08So today we're gonna explore the philosophy of Reality Transurfing and its concept of pendulums, which are thought structures that can drain one's energy.
- 1:17And Reality Transurfing is a book written by Russian quantum physicist Vadim Zealand, and we discuss this book often here because the concepts and principles in this book are extremely powerful.
- 1:31But today we're gonna emphasize the power of changing one's outlook from a negative to a positive perspective, which can help protect one's energy from pendulums and manifest positive outcomes and cultivate gratitude.
- 1:47So the quote of the day is this,"Rouse yourself, open your eyes, sit up in the bed and look around you.
- 1:54It is the same world as it was before that took care of you and with whom you want.
- 1:59So enjoyed spending time.
- 2:01Imagine how delighted the world will be when you finally come round from illusion." This quote carries a message of awakening to reality and recognizing the value of the present moment.
- 2:14And it suggests that we may be living in a state of illusion and encourages us to recognize the world around us for what it is.
- 2:23Negativity bias.
- 2:25Oh my goodness.
- 2:26This is out there.
- 2:27And I had that with the story that happened to me a couple of weeks ago.
- 2:32I had a major hold put on my bank accounts, and it was a legal hold.
- 2:37I have ptsd, actually.
- 2:40I have a diagnosis of complex post-traumatic stress disorder that comes from court cases, from finances, from legal battles.
- 2:50And this just triggered all of them big, big time.
- 2:54But I have learned some valuable lessons in this time, and I wanna share some of them with you today.
- 3:01So the concept of dissatisfaction, which is a pendulum's favorite dish, by the way, being a stronger emotion than satisfaction is a common theme in psychology and philosophy.
- 3:13And humans tend to focus more on what they don't have or what they lack rather than what they do have or what they have achieved.
- 3:21And this phenomena is known as the negativity bias.
- 3:26The negativity bias explains why people tend to remember negative experiences, more vividly than positive ones.
- 3:34In the context of the quote today, the negativity bias is relevant because it suggests that we may be living in a state of illusion where we focus more on what we lack and what we want rather than appreciating what we already have.
- 3:49We may be living in a world of delusion where we fail to recognize the beauty and value of the present moment, and this can lead to a sense of dissatisfaction and a feeling that we are missing out on something.
- 4:03The quote encourages us to open our eyes and recognize the reality of the world around us.
- 4:08It suggests that we may be missing out on the beauty and joy of the present moment because we are focused on what we lack or what we want.
- 4:16The quote invites us to imagine how delighted the world will be when we finally come around from the illusion and recognize the value of the present moment.
- 4:26By recognizing the reality of the world around us, we can shift our focus from what we lack to what we have.
- 4:33We can appreciate the beauty and value of the present moment, and we can experience a sense of gratitude for what we.
- 4:40This can lead to a sense of satisfaction and contentment, which can be more powerful than the sense of dissatisfaction that we may have felt before.
- 4:49So this episode right here, I was going to record on my laptop like I usually do most of my episodes, but I ran into a major hiccup and things were just not working out like I wanted.
- 5:02I'm like, this is not right.
- 5:03This is not right, this is not right.
- 5:05And instead of forcing it and making it work and getting frustrated and leaving the flow, I let it go.
- 5:12I just let it go.
- 5:13I said, Kathie, we can just record this like we do our other episodes.
- 5:18We'll get back on the computer and we'll get back on camera in the near future, hopefully. But I let go of what was happening in my world.
- 5:28I wasn't trying to force things as we talk about in Power vs Force, and I had already just been through a stressful situation and I was actually going to explain everything I went through and how I got over it.
- 5:42I had a shift in perspective.
- 5:45As I went through my day.
- 5:46I shifted into the present moment and had gratitude for what was going on around me, and I let go of the pendulums that were trying to hook me because there were many pendulums trying to hook me.
- 5:58So pendulum is a thought structure that everybody thinks, and it only wants your energy.
- 6:04In the philosophy of Reality Transurfing changing your outlook is seen as a powerful tool for navigating through life.
- 6:12I talk about finding advantage in everything, but when people encounter a pendulum, they may feel a sense of dissatisfaction or frustration.
- 6:22After all, Vadim Zeland says it best,"Dissastisfaction and lack of fulfullment are the pendulum's favorite dish.
- 6:29And we may become entangled in the pendulum's energetic field, and our energy may be drained by the pendulums.
- 6:37That's why we need to stay aware.
- 6:40In fact, I created a download that will help you identify your pendulums, the destructive ones, and there are such things as constructive ones.
- 6:49Those are the ones that you decide where you're gonna put your energy.
- 6:53You want to become aware of that, and this download will help you find your constructive and your destructive pendulums because once you are aware, you can be aware where your energy is going.
- 7:07But by changing our outlook, people can break free from the pendulum's influence and reclaim their energy.
- 7:14That's what my download will teach you, and you can find that at kathieowen.com/reality-transurfing, and there will be a link in the show notes and the description below for you to easily access that.
- 7:31But changing your outlook means shifting your perspective from a negative to a positive one.
- 7:37Instead of flowing with the dissatisfaction of a pendulum, you can choose to focus on the positive aspects of your life.
- 7:45You could choose to be grateful for what you have rather than.
- 7:48Focusing on what you lack.
- 7:50You can choose to see the beauty and the value in the present moment rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.
- 7:57And you can choose to see this moment as happening for you instead of to you.
- 8:04By changing your outlook, you can also protect your energy from the pendulum.
- 8:09Pendulums, like I said, are just thought structures that only want your energy and they can drain your energy if you become entangled in their energetic field.
- 8:18However, by shifting your perspective, you can create a protective shield around you that will prevent the pendulum from draining your energy.
- 8:27So how do we manifest positive outcomes?
- 8:31In addition to protecting your energy, changing your outlook can also help you manifest positive outcomes in your life.
- 8:38The energy that you put out into the world is reflected back to you, and if you focus on the positive aspects of your life, you will attract more positivity into your life.
- 8:49By changing your outlook, you can create a positive feedback loop that will help you manifest your desires and achieve your goals.
- 8:57Changing your outlook is a powerful tool for navigating through life.
- 9:01Instead of flowing with the dissatisfaction of a pendulum, you can choose to shift your perspective and focus on the positive aspects of your life.
- 9:10By doing so, you can protect your energy from the pendulum and manifest positive outcomes in your life.
- 9:16Changing your outlook requires practice and patience, but it is a skill that can be learned and mastered with time.
- 9:24So over that time period where I was having the stress of the legal hold that sent all of my accounts into.
- 9:31A negative balance, which I actually stressed out over more than I probably should have in retrospect, because I look back and connect the dots.
- 9:41But it, it caused a major fear, a major trigger in my life.
- 9:47And I remember sitting there as soon as I found that out.
- 9:53I remember telling myself, I've been through worse.
- 9:56I'm gonna change my perspective on this.
- 9:58This is gonna happen for a reason.
- 10:00I even went to my mentor and my mastermind with a question about this, and my mentor, Joseph Rodrigues mentioned that this could be a lesson that you use to teach others and help others.
- 10:14And actually, that's what ended up happening.
- 10:17And I even had a friend of mine tell me the same thing.
- 10:21So I was sure that that was happening for a reason.
- 10:24And of course, looking back, I can see how things happened.
- 10:28And so as I started off this episode, I said, give it a week.
- 10:33Two weeks at the most and everything will be different.
- 10:36Everything will work out.
- 10:38I did my best not to give my energy to the pendulum, but I did in fact give my energy to the pendulum.
- 10:45During some moments.
- 10:47I remember feeling like I was going to throw up.
- 10:50I was so overwhelmed with fear, but I had long talks with myself.
- 10:55My coach, my mentor, Joseph Rodrigues and my mastermind really helped me work through the, the subconscious programming that was going on in my mind, and I was making it a whole lot worse than it was, and I learned a very valuable lesson in the process.
- 11:15So in conclusion, the quote from Reality Transurfing encourages us to awaken to the reality of the world around us and recognize the value of the present moment.
- 11:25It suggests that we may be living in a state of illusion where our mind is just thinking up the wrong ideas, where we focus on more what we lack rather than what we have.
- 11:37By recognizing the reality of the world around us, we can shift our focus from dissatisfaction and the pendulum to satisfaction and experience a sense of gratitude for what we have.
- 11:50That's the advantage, and the message of the quote is timeless and relevant, and it invites us to appreciate the beauty and value of the present moment.
- 12:00All right.
- 12:00Thank you for spending part of your day with me.
- 12:02I trust that you found this helpful.
- 12:04If you know someone who can benefit from this, please share it with them, and until next time, I will see you next time.
- 12:12Peace out and Namste.
