Latest / Age Defiantly with Mark Young / How to Treat the Cause, Not the Symptom with Dylan Gemelli (Part 2)

- 0:00We can't unpack physiology until we unpack trauma. We call hypertension a diagnosis and I
- 0:07arguably always say that high blood pressure is a symptom. It is a downstream output to bad
- 0:15upstream inputs and we're so busy treating this downstream issue that we're not dealing with
- 0:21the upstrips. What's your approach to fear and stress on how to help people overcome it without
- 0:28medication or BS that's not going to help it? I'm going to. Today is extremely special for me
- 0:38for multitudes of reasons. One, as you can see, we're not in the normal studio. We are at changing
- 0:44life and destiny and I am thoroughly honored to have the person that I'm interviewing today for
- 0:51multiple reasons. One, we met in person for the first time here. Now I've been going back and forth
- 1:00with him here and there as soon as we met it was like an instantaneous click. I don't know how to
- 1:05explain it. You just know when you know when you know and we both know. And I received an
- 1:11award here last night and had the privilege of being introduced by my guest who gave a speech
- 1:19that I don't really know what to say other than it hit me in a certain way of the most touching
- 1:26and my level of appreciation. I can't really convey into words but I'm going to try to show that
- 1:33in our interactions today. So my guest today is someone who has built a career around a principle
- 1:40that sounds simple but it turns out to be everything. If you want to build something at last you
- 1:45have to actually care about the people you're building it for and that is super synonymous with
- 1:50everything that I can tell you this man stands for. He's an entrepreneur, he's an author, he's a
- 1:55speaker and he's a philanthropist. He's the CEO of Sona Health and he's also the CEO and founder
- 2:01of Rise Agency and I have to tell you I meet a lot of people. I talk to I don't know without
- 2:09exaggeration thousands of people a month and I love the ability that I have to do that but there's
- 2:15always a small select few that stick with you in just everything that you do and this is one of
- 2:22those people. So my friends welcome Mark Young. Dude I didn't even know what to say in an intro.
- 2:27They're going to be tears here. I'm known for my intros. No that is all I'm good. Stop. My team
- 2:34rates my intro. You know I always tell people send me a bio and I never tell them I'm only going to
- 2:40use a couple sentences because it's it's it's there simply so I can hit your credentials but
- 2:46everything else comes from me. My team writes my bios. This is going to be so funny because every time
- 2:51I had a guest like I'm like I'm going to read the bio because I could never do you justice if it
- 2:58just did but thank you. I appreciate that and doing like the honor of being able to introduce you
- 3:03yesterday at that at the event last night was all mine. Genuinely all mine and the point that I
- 3:10wanted to make in that was that you're you're not here. You're not here. You're not here. You know
- 3:14you're not talking about physiology like so many other people that podcast you you're not talking
- 3:19about just psychology. You're not talking about just spirituality. Like you're one of the rare
- 3:24breed of people who integrates all of those things together and understands the the holism
- 3:31of the human organism and not any kind of container for for categorization or what not about people
- 3:40and I appreciate that. But you thank you. Here's what I feel and I start with this and you tell me
- 3:46what you think. So I feel like everybody's got a specialty something they're just really good at
- 3:53they're known for that they know a lot about but then they get out there and that's all they talk
- 3:56about and that's all you ever see from somebody and there's always more there and I'm not saying
- 4:02they're an expert in everything but there's more personality. There's something that they're missing
- 4:07and my job and my goal is tenfold really it's one it's to showcase the person because it's not
- 4:13about me when you come on my show I got the opportunity to go speak and you could talk to me about
- 4:17all you want. I'll feed you some things when you're interviewing with me but what I want to do is not
- 4:22just showcase your strengths and I'm not necessarily saying we're going to go look at your weaknesses
- 4:26but your other abilities to show your versatility and who you are and if I am going to do that
- 4:32I have to be able to bring all facets of health and wellness because health and wellness is not
- 4:37just one two or three things it is effort. It's all about yeah and and I agree with you I was
- 4:42used to phrase that if all I have is a hammer everything looks like a nail right yeah and I see a lot
- 4:46of people particularly in this biohacking natural house wellness space they have a product they've
- 4:53got something they've and I respect them so much for it because for many of these people with this
- 4:57is their story come to life like from their pain to their purpose yeah they've found something they
- 5:04found a supplement that saved their lives they found a device that saves them lives they they found
- 5:08this stuff and now everybody needs it not not everybody needs it like just because it just because
- 5:15the movie won an award doesn't mean everybody enjoyed it that's right right like there's there's
- 5:19flavors for all sorts of stuff and particularly I was talking with our mutual friend Sean great today
- 5:25and and we were talking about we can't unpack physiology until we unpack trauma yeah like how does
- 5:32and no two people have the same amount of trauma I know I don't care like we've all lived different
- 5:37lives we've all been impacted differently and you know we've disclosed things about our own likes
- 5:41to each other and say they're not the same totally different and and yet when you get today to
- 5:46the end result literally people say we look just the white but I think there's so much that goes
- 5:54on back here and and I think it's important for anybody in this space to responsibly practice and
- 6:00recommend and again that's what I admire about you like you're you're not hawking things you're
- 6:06genuinely caring about individuals yeah and not just masses I think it's important when you're
- 6:12conveying like what something is that you're selling that you really convey what it is and why
- 6:18you may need it not that you have to have it but this is why you may need it so if you have problem
- 6:24X problem wire you want to address something that you're missing this will be good for you but
- 6:28doesn't mean that every single person you know right you're trying to shove it down their throws
- 6:33I feel there's some things out there that you and I discussed like you know certain like creatine
- 6:39I feel like almost anybody needs that can take it right right there's some things like that but
- 6:43then there's things that I just I have a hard time with well as I go like you you you promote
- 6:48tongue like yeah I agree there's nobody that I wouldn't say couldn't take that product yes
- 6:53stomach region there's there's nobody I believe that couldn't take that product and benefit from
- 6:58right do I believe it's a solution for everybody no no but it's a great additive yeah it's not
- 7:03gonna hurt anybody but I I see people who out there who are just like all the vitamins are good I
- 7:08need to take all the vitamins and like yeah except then I've looked at vitamin stacks or I'm like
- 7:11that's great you're taking this beef liver organ you're taking this you're taking this you're
- 7:15done I'm like do you know how much of vitamin A that you've put into your diet because you've
- 7:20taken all of these supplements together um let's still look at all of these vitamin A quantities
- 7:26and find out how long it's going to take before you go into heart failure right okay not everything
- 7:31is good yes and not a bit is good if you don't know everything else that the person is even taking
- 7:36and that's it it's it's it's responsibility I mean in pharmacies we cross reference prescriptions
- 7:42and all of this but it's like they're not even cross referencing lifestyle they're not cross
- 7:47referencing supplementation like none of this stuff was playing into the conversation and and
- 7:52again it gets back to that holster approach well even like something like timeline that you know
- 7:57is like my favorite thing in the world but if we're not addressing cellular health at his core first
- 8:02tabline's not gonna do anything for you nothing's gonna do anything for you because we're not
- 8:06addressing the initial problem and trying to correct it you said something yesterday in a
- 8:10conversation that I've never heard anybody say and it a truthfully I mean this you did a you did
- 8:15a Instagram post recently talking about the responsibility of being an influence early
- 8:20person of influences you put it as like you're influencing people's health I've never heard
- 8:24an influencer say and I need to be responsible because I'm influencing people's finances cats in
- 8:29it man and I was like wow like that what a great acknowledgement that sure you can recommend
- 8:37timeline to somebody and it's not gonna hurt them it'll probably do them good even if they're not
- 8:41paying attention to the other tenants of so you what else but you're paying attention to it and
- 8:46saying but is it responsible for their money yeah if they're not going to get maximum benefit
- 8:52don't spend yeah and and and I don't know and we're at a conference right now and there's
- 8:57a hundred exhibitors outside the door and I'm wondering how many of them would say no don't buy my
- 9:01product you know your finances probably shouldn't have this like no they don't have financing options
- 9:10like that's not a surprise like there's everybody wants to do this and again it's because they
- 9:14poured their lives into doing what they're doing and they want to make sure that everybody has
- 9:19their same experience no two people have the same experience as a matter what he is there's a look
- 9:25man everybody and we talked about this yesterday no human can't survive without money we all work
- 9:32for money but you can make a lot of money and save a lot of people a lot of money at the same time
- 9:39you can have competition is important because if there's no competition then you become
- 9:44complacent and you don't become innovative and you just rest on your laurels and then that's when
- 9:50you take advantage of people because you know you're the only one doing it you know what I
- 9:54I intentionally when when my bio is always used that was used the words I am entrepreneur first
- 9:59yeah educator author philanthropist I love it and and then I add the travel nut because that's you
- 10:07but it's like there is no reason why I can't be entrepreneurial and philanthropic at the same time
- 10:12yes like I want to have as many resources as I can possibly compile on this life because that's
- 10:18how I have maximum impact on the world around me I say this in prayer and I I'm gonna be flat out
- 10:25honest I didn't realize it till more recently I thought being rich was all those years I would have
- 10:33like I always dreamed I'm gonna have a six-figure income one day like when I was growing up and
- 10:38when I sold drugs and it never got it you know and how am I gonna do this with taxes and this and
- 10:42then when I did it I was realized I'm not rich you know when I realized I was rich when I was rich
- 10:49in spirit first and then rich in doing good work and then I became the richest man alive I'm rich
- 10:56in like the love that I because I prayed for it unhard and hard and I realized man you're too
- 11:00stoic like become more compassionate what do you why do you I'm a blockator why and I became rich
- 11:07when the fate was so strong that everything that I did had a genuine purpose and it was for him
- 11:14not for me and then I found like okay this is the path dude I'm gonna I'm gonna share this crazy
- 11:20story with you we talked about this yet but so that there's your story clearly has a lot of
- 11:25twist in turn oh yeah I got a lot you may have me be but recently this came up I've had a long
- 11:35term relationship my dad is set on board of an organization called World Mission which is now
- 11:39called Unknown Nations I've read yeah they do they're the audio Bible people and they'd actually
- 11:46put New Testament read it translated into I believe they've done 5000 languages at this point
- 11:52and it's solar power so what they do is they distribute them around the world and there's no need
- 11:56for batteries or anything it re it recharges and then tribes all over the world like and I've
- 12:03I've done those trips to Africa distributing them in the back woods of you know northern Kenya
- 12:09it to literally people who live in in like gypsy like tent communities and we're sitting in the
- 12:15tents and you're passing out audio by those just spreading the word and these just completely weird
- 12:20places um and what's really cool though is because yeah I've had some amazing experiences and
- 12:25that's been incredible just being able to share the world literally to the four corners of the
- 12:29earth right and recently Greg Kelly who's the executive director at Unknown Nations he'd be
- 12:36shot to my dad and then it was like I we need to get Mark on the call so I joined the call and then
- 12:40while we're having this conversation I'm like you know what I need him then to join this call I need
- 12:43Philip to join this call who are a couple of members of my team and Greg's talking about you know we
- 12:49have missionaries in some of the areas of world that are just dangerous for somebody to be speaking
- 12:54the gospel and one of the things that they has happened in their communities is that a person
- 12:59ends up you know coming to Jesus they they convert to Christianity but there's no discipleship
- 13:05that takes place past that and and you know they go home to to a family of a totally different
- 13:12faith or to friends or to community with the village or to whatever it is and as soon as they
- 13:17start getting hammered with questions they're like you know they they fold they don't know the answers
- 13:23because you know it's they all they know is well I met Jesus but now what it's that well all of
- 13:28a sudden my family is pressuring me and they're asking questions I don't know the answers to
- 13:32and I don't have a mentor because this was a traveling missionary who led me to this place like
- 13:38and the education ends so we're on the phone and my dad said what do you think we can do with this
- 13:43and am I okay like that's when I'm like let me get him and I let me get Philip and get them on
- 13:46this call right now I'm like okay so here's what I'm imagining is again I take complex things and
- 13:51figure out solutions I'm like our team works deep deep deep in AI yeah and I'm like we could
- 13:58actually set up AI-driven things that we can vet theology we can actually create this and we can
- 14:05actually create the sole file of a of an AI to have the soul and personality of a 25 year old
- 14:13Pakistani woman with the cultural references with the language references with everything else
- 14:19and that it through theology that if we were able to gain access to this and this and this like
- 14:25we could literally create avatars where a 25 year old female in Pakistan is able to have a
- 14:32conversation about theology and defend faith by having in a in artificial intelligence mentor
- 14:40and almost be discipled in apologetics and theology and that respect and it's like
- 14:44super cool whatever maybe it's been done before I don't know but we're having this conversation
- 14:49about how we can make this and have this prolific impact all over the world and after that call
- 14:55was over I sat with him and I'm Philip from my team and we had kind of follow up and I'm like
- 14:59guys like that and they're both like oh my gosh and he met she's in the room with us right now
- 15:05actually while we do his recording and it was just like like oh my gosh like we get to do this
- 15:11yeah like yeah this these weird twists and turns and AI being scary and wobble ball like
- 15:18we deal with it in marketing we deal with it in companies we deal with it in healthcare and I'm like
- 15:23guys we just got taken on this weird backward journey through developing customer service reps
- 15:30and dealing with agentic AI education because and I always go back to that story of Esther right
- 15:37like maybe all of that preparation was for a moment such as this maybe everything you've been through
- 15:45was for a moment such as this maybe everything I do in businesses for a moment such as this maybe
- 15:51all of the work we've been doing an AI to learn at the hard way for the past year or two like
- 15:56maybe this is what it's about maybe it is nothing to do with customer service bots maybe it is
- 16:00nothing to do with you know all the different apps that we're in and there's nothing to do with
- 16:05Chad GPT and whatnot they it all has something to do with like preparation yeah and I think that
- 16:12preparation often looks like pain always comes out as purpose yeah that's it I don't even know
- 16:19where we were going no it sounded like a great story compared to you were just saying you know
- 16:24I um I've had a I I tend to not use the word fear anymore but um I would say a tempered skepticism
- 16:34with like AI what it's gonna do and I'm trying to think about okay this is happening no matter what
- 16:43so how is this what I kind of feel can be extremely negative how can we refer this in turning
- 16:49into something extremely positive because it's gonna it's gonna come up the force and CNN there's
- 16:54there's there's a negative aspect behind I'll care what anybody says and there's an evil intent
- 16:58behind some of it but how do we take that and reverse it because anything evil can be changed
- 17:03and reversed moments a 20 that's exactly right we ever intended for evil double use for his all
- 17:09or yeah and that's the divine table turn and that could be more of the purposes that we have
- 17:15is to change make that change and I and I I've been thinking about that and that right now
- 17:23then this is just what he does um and it brought a whole nother thinking process onto me we'll have
- 17:28to talk about a little bit later um just root we have so many things to talk about labor you know
- 17:35where that's going but thank you for that because that gave me some insight that I think that I
- 17:40was searching for I tend to work on tempering being bothered and fearful anymore I think that's
- 17:45one of the progressions that I've personally made and I'm wondering your thoughts on and for people
- 17:52because I'm sure you would have some good thoughts an overcoming fears stresses and anxieties because
- 17:59you and I both know I think you know as bad as cancer and as bad as any sort of disease that we
- 18:08run into I think fear stress these are the actual largest killers because they are the causes
- 18:17upset diseases those you know and so I'm wondering for you what's your approach to fear and stress
- 18:26on how to help people overcome it without medication or BS that's not going to help it
- 18:33I'm going to go back to the individuality of that question BS certain people's fears and
- 18:37stresses are different than others yeah and you know some people's fears I would say are completely
- 18:42negligible and why are you bothering me even it's nonsense even though it's very real to them
- 18:46and other people's fears are fears that I couldn't possibly comprehend because they're so serious
- 18:51that it that goes past me um I will say that biblically since we're already down that
- 18:57red at whole fear not are the words that are used most often and in fact they're used
- 19:02365 times throughout scripture which I find to be an incredible coincidence what not for
- 19:08not for our god right that the words fear not are used exact number of times as the number of
- 19:13days that are in our calendar um so I think that I didn't know that kind of a cool kind of cool
- 19:19piece of little nugget there that's it so early remind that's a daily remind I get it and
- 19:24my belief is that from a I always say I'm a contrarian any conversation because if you
- 19:30ask me about a physiological symptom I'm gonna ask you about your emotional health if you ask
- 19:34me about emotional issue I'm gonna ask you about spirituals like I'm gonna always approach it
- 19:38through the back door to have that conversation um when people are experiencing fears I was like
- 19:45personally one of the ways that I handle fear when it creeps into my life is I have a tendency to
- 19:51play out worst case scenarios um because fear triggers this this sympathetic nervous system right
- 19:57our autonomic nervous system is this upshift downshift type thing and both are very necessary
- 20:03but fear triggers that sympathetic nervous system and unfortunately we tend to live
- 20:08in our society like what is the number 80 something percent of the population is actually living
- 20:13under chronic stress and that stress creates fear it's fear of losing my job it's fear of you know
- 20:18cancer it's it's fear of death it's fear of my children growing up and and being a mess like
- 20:23whatever it is um I I have a cousin who can't literally rest at night because if she sees a
- 20:31headlight in the window jumps up off the couch because she's convinced the person is coming into the
- 20:36house and it's like just nervous system off the chain and one of the things that I do is like
- 20:43literally for me I'm a very cognitive behavioral person um I tend to play out worst case scenarios
- 20:50because worst case scenarios actually get me out of fear and put me into purpose that is in my
- 20:56business if everything goes wrong I create two budgets every year and this is going to sound
- 21:01ridiculous but we've talked I don't lose I hate losing there's no actually I don't even love
- 21:07winning I hate losing right like no it's in I drive yeah winnings cool I'd spec that not losing
- 21:13is my purpose you'd but I literally create a budget for my own business of it everything went wrong
- 21:19what does it look like because if I'm still using black ink when everything goes wrong
- 21:27there's no fear this year like I have nothing to fear and it literally ships me into a this is
- 21:34the best case scenario this is the worst case scenario and I know statistically that will probably
- 21:40end on somewhere mid or right so if this is the worst it can get and that scenario didn't kill me
- 21:47I have no reason to be in an overbreath I love it and I think for so many people and I think that
- 21:53plays out in in a hundred different ways to people's lives and for me I'm talking business and
- 21:57financial state but yeah but I mean literally if it's disease if it's if it's if it's divorce and
- 22:03I mean all of the things that can affect people's lives up okay let's play out the scenario
- 22:09where are you at the end of this and and if where you are at the end of this is still above ground
- 22:14then this hope right there's always hope yeah so and I always said there's a multitude of things
- 22:21that I do that I think you'll light one and I told Queenie this when I first met her she's like well
- 22:27light why are you looking for all these other things when you have this and I said because you have
- 22:32to have a backup before your backup and a backup for that backup and that's why because
- 22:38when you think everything's so great and dandy at the drop of a dime and I know this from walking
- 22:44into my mortgage company office and seeing it boarded up in 2008 and I know this from waking up one day
- 22:50and then people telling me you can't go to the gym you can't go outside for COVID and I know that
- 22:55these things can happen that you wake up and it's just that's it and then what how do you handle it
- 23:01what do you do so I love that because you have to be prepared and then my other question that I've
- 23:07been working on for myself which is working is okay I'm getting so stressed out like I'm or I'm
- 23:13crying or I'm over emotional what did that contribute to solving the problem or did it make it worse
- 23:21yeah now I got that the anger thing that I have that's my worst that that I get like it and it's
- 23:27not this like rage anger it's this impatience anger that I I have to tell myself this isn't
- 23:33solved anything but the stress part I've been working on to where it's like what is this crying
- 23:38gonna do what how does this help often serve me no but or if I look at the clock and I cried for
- 23:4430 minutes or I got stressed for an hour I just lost an hour could have been fixing this shit
- 23:49yeah you know what I mean my answer to that and this is I've said this for decades I give myself
- 23:54a timeline is the one thing that I can't stand is when people get into that frame and people tell
- 23:59them to knock it off for people like no no you need to acknowledge that this is a very real emotion
- 24:04right now and sometimes crying is a great way to expel that energy but it's got an expiration
- 24:10exactly that if this is the worst day of my life that's great I'm going to spend tonight being
- 24:15miserable and I'm going to do everything in my power to be miserable tonight and sometimes I just
- 24:21embrace the suck so pick and tomorrow morning I'm back in the south yeah because this this has an
- 24:27expiration date this is not going to go on forever but I I make a date with my
- 24:31investing in that respect right like I'm I'm going to I'm going to put an expiration date and I
- 24:37think that's where some people go too far down that rabbit mold think I'm going to get into the
- 24:41depression and now I'm star but as I wait we need to put up some guard rails and it it's okay to
- 24:47wallow in it for a quick second because sometimes life does so I just call it delaying inevitable and
- 24:53don't do quite you know what I mean like I when I was getting into a lot of trouble when I was
- 24:58younger you know the story a things would happen and I would like not tell my parents or not tell
- 25:03them and I was going to have to come up yeah I was going to manage it kept weighing on me and it
- 25:07would get worse and I couldn't sleep and I think about what I'm going to do how I'm going to do
- 25:10some minutes like weeks later yeah and it's like you know and it's it's when you delay the inevitable
- 25:16you make it five million times worse I'm a guy now that's just like just let's get it over with
- 25:21whatever it is I go don't have it just but yeah just let's just hurry up and get it over so I
- 25:25have to think about it yeah I'd much rather just do it get it over with and not take about it
- 25:31again you know what I mean because if it's inevitable do it I agree I want to ask you something
- 25:38you probably didn't expect me to ask and I think you're the guy to ask which is why I'm going to do
- 25:44this is stressful why is it in your view that so many people distort the words that are said in
- 25:54the Bible what is the reason that you feel and I'm sure that this is a loaded question and there's
- 26:01multitudes of avenues but I'm curious to somebody that is a a theologian why do you fear
- 26:10because I want to know from an expert of said Bible that we both live on that I feel has the
- 26:16answer to every question in life but people misconstruer everything in it wow that's an enormous
- 26:24question I know you're the guy to answer right I I can get you some some opinions off the cuff
- 26:30here play one of them I would say is there's obviously a spiritual warfare of when truth is spoken
- 26:35and the lie is always going to be present because there's that interpretation the second thing
- 26:40I would say is that we all view everything through the context of our own existence right that's
- 26:47exactly I can't see the world outside of the way I saw it and I think and I'll I'll get a little
- 26:53bit more historical and exegetical here and say the Bible was written in a time that in context
- 27:00it made sense and we try to interpret those actions through a 21st century mindset and you know
- 27:08I hear people say thing oh women were treated terrible in the Bible I'm like no not always in now
- 27:13and in some cases yes and in some cases children were treated daily like I say oh my go there
- 27:20I even hear the Pope for instance making a comment recently about God will not hear the prayers
- 27:24of men who wage war and it's like and I immediately stopped and I'm like and I'm like I don't know
- 27:31if that's true because I've got documents of God specifically telling people to go to war and I'm
- 27:38not promoting war or not promoting war and that's not a political conversation but it's like
- 27:43our 21st century context is very different than the days of David right it's it's very
- 27:51dated like when the when the days the kings were the person who was out in the middle of the war
- 27:56like the kings I think literally the story of David Bathsheba actually the story begins with
- 28:03in the season where kings were at war David didn't go like that's how he was worded in
- 28:09temptation because in cultural context he should have been at war yeah that whole fall would have
- 28:15never happened had he been where he was supposed to be so it's like the king the man after God's
- 28:20own heart was supposed to be a war today we would find that absolute map is so why do I think a
- 28:28lot of times that the Bible was taken in our context I think because contextually things change
- 28:34I mean the world a hundred years ago wasn't the same as the world this tip neck fun
- 28:38did the other things that I would put in there is that we we study the Bible most people study the
- 28:44Bible for its relevance to their own lives and not study in the Bible is an objective truth
- 28:52and adapting me to it rather than it to me I see so I I also sign and we'll always you know well
- 28:59God has a purpose for everything and I'm like believe it tell me about that it's like well you know
- 29:03it says you know all things work together you know and I'm like all things work together for good
- 29:07and I'm like hmm finish that nope finish that size well it says all things work together for
- 29:12better than like hmm for those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose so
- 29:18if you do not love the Lord and then you are not called according to his purpose the first part in
- 29:23that curse doesn't apply to you but we're not allowed to cherry pick and pull the things we want
- 29:30and call them true it yeah it's like that's not okay yeah very selective correct and so yeah I
- 29:37put so many answers but I just feel like that people read what they want to read without
- 29:44reading what they should read and so I most people that I know that's not fair people who I know
- 29:50who are who are faith adjacent they read for inspiration they they read for and and I follow
- 29:59you on Instagram and I see that you read the Jesus calling but by Sarah you know yeah because
- 30:04you post pages I don't yeah I might you never morning absolutely never brought it with me well
- 30:07there you go and I'm like you know Jesus calling great book that's fantastic I know you're a man of
- 30:12faith and when you post a page out of Jesus calling I know you reading that book is for genuine
- 30:18edification and you're reading that for that purpose I know several other people who on the
- 30:25daily post pictures from their Jesus calling reading I'm like I know and I think it's not
- 30:32mine to judge I don't mean to make it that way but like I don't think based on you and know them
- 30:37by their fruits that most of the people that I never doing that are genuinely seeking Christ in that
- 30:41reading I think they're seeking inspiration um but it's more of a pop psychology than an actual
- 30:49faith like people want to believe the Bible they don't want them to live it yeah and I think that's
- 30:54rubber hits the road on some of that stuff so again why do I think that people
- 30:58read the Bible and get different things and interpret different things one end of the spectrum
- 31:04because there is also an enemy of our soul who is going to do everything to distort truth yeah and
- 31:10and he's very convincing there's also people who are reading for inspiration rather than reading
- 31:17for comprehension out of your head and contextually everything adversary I took the journey of
- 31:26really getting into it for me personally as like training like I told you it was training me to
- 31:31understand where my life needed to go and well how I was supposed to live and what I was actually
- 31:35missing in the way that I studied it and learned what it actually meant with the words meme and how
- 31:40they apply to myself today and understanding you know the way that was spoken then and how it
- 31:47translates to now and to understand and piece it together and you know what you have to be willing
- 31:51it's like the person that can't take constructive criticism you have to be willing
- 31:57to accept what you're reading as it's going to benefit you in the end and to touch on the prayers
- 32:02that I put up there you know I missed a day or two when I actually just forgot to post it and to
- 32:07people that never click like or anything was like what happened today like why didn't you post that
- 32:11and I was like match up waiting I can't miss these days because it's it's I put that up there so
- 32:17not so people think I'm so always to help them just I can't tell me people Robinson where do I
- 32:22buy that book she got it for me for my birthday I think or you and brought me a couple I read one
- 32:27in the morning one at night and I thought well share a couple of these and then it turns into a
- 32:30daily thing so that I'm people that don't read anything they might actually be waiting to see it well
- 32:36you I'm sure you remember the purpose driven life the Rick Warren book that was such a runaway
- 32:40success so many years ago and it's like and I absolutely the first sentence of that book if you
- 32:44remember it was like such a big thing it was it was literally four words it's not about you
- 32:53I mean first four words of that entire book purpose driven life what does it mean to have
- 32:57purpose in your life first of all it's not about you yeah it's it's a hard it's a hard pill of
- 33:02swallow yeah if you don't if you don't feel it inside of you like and you can some people like
- 33:08to say it but they don't mean it are they and they think they do they trick themselves and do
- 33:13but then if you rubber hits the road and you break it down on and yeah if you take a hard
- 33:17look in the mirror and ask yourself is that true a lot of people have to say no and if you approach
- 33:24by the study the same way you approach health low yeah like you're you're a researcher you're
- 33:29you're an athlete so you're absolutely performance driven yeah in everything you do which means if
- 33:35if you decide that guy laugh I better buddy of mine who recently started going back to church
- 33:40and I'm thrilled to see it because for so long I'm like dude like if you ever you know came over
- 33:45to the light side like and he's at such a dear friend and I'm like if you ever made the step into
- 33:50fake like you'd be such a powerhouse I'm like because I know the way things I know the way he trains
- 33:56I know without his physical routine I know the way he runs his business like I know everything
- 34:01about the way the heat functions and that capacity it's like if you're a person who is just I am
- 34:06all in to whatever I do which is you like bell like just I know go you have to not just pray
- 34:15for certain things because it sounds good that you have like when I had the actual desire for what
- 34:19I was praying for and I and aside from like the family prayers and the people prayers like what I
- 34:24asked for myself if you heard those you some people would probably not understand what I pray for
- 34:32and I and I pray for a powerful voice and when I asked for strength it's it's not a physical
- 34:38strength it's strength to endure everything that comes around me during the day to get to handle
- 34:44it and to have the strength to keep going to do what I was put here to do those are the things
- 34:49and I pray for like virtues of because people don't differentiate knowledge and wisdom they don't
- 34:54understand that there's a lot of smart people that have no wisdom they don't know I don't know
- 34:59you know the smartest people are the wise ones not the ones that are book smart but that doesn't
- 35:05get you but so far it's how do you use it you know I don't I'm sure you've read the book that
- 35:09was a tough one for me at the time that I think I should reread in and and I was thinking about
- 35:14that today because I have the or maybe it's yesterday there was a little piece of it it's imitation
- 35:18of Christ and the authors rough like though in the approach like it's rough like you read in
- 35:23like damn man like this too like the first time I read it I was in Ford on vacation and I was
- 35:28reading I'll say I don't know if I buy this like it's seriously but you have to be able to
- 35:34endure it if you can't endure then your purpose can't really be fulfilled because you have no
- 35:38perseverance and I think that's lacking you said something a minute ago that a connection was made
- 35:45for me so thank you for that but you you made a differentiation between knowledge and wisdom
- 35:51and I we talked about AI a few minutes ago and I kind of want to draw this quarterly yeah
- 35:57as leave when we're talking about a world of AI I use the 1080 10 rule and our our teams all those
- 36:04that is like 10% is how I structure everything to know when he's to happen let AI do the 80% of the
- 36:10work yeah the last 10% is is it good work is it applicable to what we do and when you started
- 36:16talking about the differentiation between knowledge and wisdom my knowledge is the AI yeah you
- 36:21know I can automate knowledge nowadays because there is no shortage of knowledge available but it's
- 36:27incumbent upon us to have the wisdom to apply that because all of the knowledge in the world without
- 36:35application is just data play that's it how how do we get the wisdom applied and again I'll say
- 36:43you can know all of the right things about health and still be unhealthy and you can know all the
- 36:47right things about theology and still be a spiritual mass and you can know that I can I can know all
- 36:52of the things there is to know about another human being and still have a terrible relationship if
- 36:58I don't apply those things and and the application to your point is actually where the human difference
- 37:04takes place and I think that's where we spent too much time here for too long and I think the whole
- 37:10world is shifting where this is the value it's like an empty cell right it's it's it's it's you've
- 37:17got the structure you might have the cellular membrane protecting you with the knowledge but if
- 37:22you don't have the wisdom your myocardial sucks you you know what I mean like you're you're missing
- 37:27them boasting the ordinary part of it such a nerd analogy I love in this from that the former
- 37:33non-science guy to the converted science yeah yeah I laughed when you told me that oh yeah science
- 37:37was the subject I hated most all I just despised it I absolutely I was a math guy it's a busy yeah
- 37:43I was a numbers and math guy which also most people think sucks and then I was a communication
- 37:49sky that's right I mean that yeah naturally for that but yeah I'm telling you man and when I hit
- 37:54me and I realized it I like that's all I care about I mean aside from the the Bible readings and
- 38:01the study my whole premises now I mean it's fit obviously it's going to be nutrition and fitness
- 38:06but it's that's still science is if you think about it food is science the I mean 100 percent
- 38:11muscular and and everything else that falls into anatomy and physiology is science 100 percent yeah
- 38:18it's just why I was saying all right so I want to shift to something here on the back end of the
- 38:23conversation that we're both passionate about I want to get into a little bit of the heart
- 38:27heart health cardiology cardiovascular health it seems to me that aside from the
- 38:36amount of misconceptions based around heart health and what we kind of can't do what we kind
- 38:40of cannot reverse how we treat things there's a and just this cascade of risen heart problems over
- 38:48the past I don't know 20 30 years maybe where it's just like out of control at this point
- 38:55what are some of the biggest contributing factors to that rise that it just continues to keep
- 39:01going and going so I'm going to say several different answers yeah this does a lot yeah
- 39:08cardiovascular disease in general and to connect to the dots there with everything we've talked about
- 39:13which is crazy is like I spend a lot of time focused in cardiovascular health with some of my
- 39:18businesses and everything else and I'm a functional medicine doctor by training like
- 39:24cardiovascular disease is so mystical and I'm going to say that unfortunately things like
- 39:28high blood pressure are so misunderstood and my personal opinion of this is we call hypertension
- 39:35a diagnosis and I arguably always say that high blood pressure is a symptom it is a downstream
- 39:44output to bad upstream inputs and we're so busy treating this downstream issue that we're not
- 39:52dealing with the upstrips right what what are the things that we can control I was controlling
- 39:56controllables right like yeah what what can I control up here so that this doesn't happen and it's
- 40:02like well you didn't turn the faucet off but you just keep pouring towels on the floor like
- 40:07turn the faucet off like there there's an easy fix here and I think things like hypertension
- 40:12cardiovascular disease all of these types of things their input problems yeah yeah and high blood
- 40:18pressure is symptomatic but we've now called it a diagnosis like it's literally an insurance
- 40:25code this person is diagnosed hypertension physicians are required to I mean literally
- 40:30standard of care as you can be sued if a person comes in has high blood pressure during your medical
- 40:35examination and you don't prescribe an anti-hypertensive and it's like so literally we've created
- 40:41standard of care and practitioner culpability if they don't yeah prescribe well that's a business
- 40:47model but by are we not dealing with the upstream side of this so to talk through what are some of
- 40:53those upstream but one is we live in incredibly high stress lies we talked to over 80% of the
- 40:57population talks about having chronic stress chronic stress we can walk through the 17 different
- 41:03things that happen with that but there's a huge issue related to chronic stress which increases
- 41:07cortisol production which decreases you know parasympathetic reverse response which is our
- 41:12rest in digest mode which means our bodies are not healing the way they should arguably say sleep
- 41:18is a huge problem for cardiovascular disease because we have we have almost glorified
- 41:25the smallest number of hours that we can process I'm like I hear people be like oh three hours I'm
- 41:31good to go I'm like I would never wash like three hours because it's not that I wear that like a
- 41:36badge of honor but you and I are old enough to remember you know the days of pulling all nighters
- 41:42you didn't pull an all-nighter and we're ashamed of it like if you pull an all-nighter you told
- 41:46everybody about it and you bragged that you had pulled an all-nighter that that's not that's not
- 41:50exciting me no but you sleep is leading to the decision nutrition yeah like we can't starve our
- 41:56body of its necessary inputs and then complain about the outputs like this is a thing I'll say that
- 42:01even nutrition itself in that small category is completely misunderstood when we talk about
- 42:07cardiovascular worst because I'll get an example what is the first thing and that a doctor
- 42:11tells a patient from the nutritional standpoint if they've been diagnosed with hypertension
- 42:17you got it low sodium diet and and I always go to oh yes that's what we want we want to
- 42:22deplete people's bodies of electrolytes that'll absolutely help them heal yeah any very
- 42:27very heart-rather-loaf absolutely and again good good sorry I'm not talking about trash
- 42:31table salt but I mean if we're actually talking about real saltly your body can't have too much salt
- 42:37yeah and then well no that's not true there was a study back in the 60s that actually showed
- 42:41that people who had you know high blood pressure also had high salt content in your body it's just
- 42:46to ask you do you think the premise behind that is the water retention of high salt that makes
- 42:50the heart work harder yes the premise the premise is that the study that was actually done back
- 42:54in I believe it was in the 60s that said the cardiovascular disease or high blood pressure
- 42:59was actually associated with salt retention was actually a correlation not a causation
- 43:05that yes the people who had high hypertension also had high sodium levels what they're missing
- 43:10is that in absence of sugar nobody has high sodium levels so okay high sodium levels and I always
- 43:17say like if you're cooking a pot of spaghetti sauce right we're both Italian what what do you do
- 43:22if it's too salty you're throwing a little sugar or do you do if it's too sweet you're throwing
- 43:26a little salt eyes those things balance naturally yeah so sugar intake has been on an incredible spike
- 43:33throughout the last several decades process food is on incredible spikes throughout the last
- 43:37several decades well we've taught people that the bottom of the pyramid is is grains and carbohydrates
- 43:45at at which what all of those carbohydrates are just going to convert they're going to convert
- 43:50into into glucose they're not going to be absorbed because most people are and again
- 43:54my next item is going to be a movement and exercise because we've become a sedentary world
- 43:58on top of that but I've got absolutely no glycodon absorption if I'm not moving my muscles like your
- 44:05muscles are glucose you know machines they're literally absorbing and expanding all the like so
- 44:11now you've end up with elevated glucose levels in the body which is waiting to just astronomical
- 44:15levels of diabetes like they all of these things but you got to be very careful because you're
- 44:22making too much sense is your problem is you're going to target on me like but the truth is is like
- 44:28we talk about blood pressure as being this high-sawated diagnosis and I fact I'm like no this is
- 44:35such a multi variant sink a sink though where all of these things apply and what's happening is all
- 44:42of these things that we talked about are 100% causing endothelial dysfunction yes and endothelial
- 44:48dysfunction in and of itself is what's causing this blood pressure problem because the endothelial
- 44:54lying the cardiovascular system is actually what regulates blood pressure of the body the body
- 44:58has in the neat intelligence that 100% knows how to keep itself alive like there's nothing you've
- 45:05ever done to yourself that has killed you yet I have evidence of that and I guarantee you've been
- 45:11hurt more than enough times and you've healed and your body knows what it's doing I don't think
- 45:17about okay how breathe now breathe yeah now breathe does something it does and blood pressure
- 45:24regulation is one of those things but it's regulated at the endothelial level and when we have
- 45:29nutritionally or behaviorally or lifestyle environmentally through through everything from EMF to
- 45:37environmental toxins and whatnot chemtrails you name I think all of these things affect
- 45:41everything but that endothelial dysfunction actually leads to the body not remembering
- 45:47how to do what it is created to do okay and the the secret of that is restore endothelial
- 45:53function yes or endothelial function and 9 out of 10 people will not deal with this symptomate
- 45:59how do we do that or we restore endothelial function again multiple ways one of them
- 46:05innate all these terrible things that we've already talked about you both things like
- 46:08sugar nudge and things like nutrition things like exercise one of the companies that I work with
- 46:14as we mentioned in a sitting here right in front of me is a is a medical device that actually
- 46:19specifically targets endothelial dysfunction which is called zone up the zone of applause
- 46:24may as well in the health and it actually specifically targets the endothelial into isometric
- 46:30exercise okay then you're an exercise guy you get this like that there's a difference between
- 46:35aerobic exercise and anaerobic exercise aerobic exercise is what we're used to I always say it's
- 46:41the sit up at the concentric movement followed by the eccentric movement the up the down the up the
- 46:46down the isometric which is zona it's more like a pike yeah okay it's a holding the static
- 46:53resistance level for a period of time and causing the body that that temporary muscle tension
- 46:59tells it that exact same static resistance what zona does is it actually kind of lets you do a
- 47:05plank but it's letting you do it using grip strength rather than you know asking grandma to get
- 47:10on the floor and do a plank right yeah um so as that happens and they end to feel him ages over time
- 47:17this actually helps reverse that aging though and why and it's weird how it does it I'll say there's
- 47:22two two major things that contribute there the first one is um when your body moves into that
- 47:29sympathetic nervous system it's helping you learn how to move between sympathetic comparison
- 47:34the life and we talk we've talked a lot about the nervous system and how we live in this stress
- 47:38that world most people get stuck yeah and they've ever trained their nervous system how to calm down
- 47:44which means even when they go to sleep they're they're a basket case even in their sleep right it's
- 47:48sleep quality suffers even if they actually get their eight hours yeah what this is doing is that
- 47:54that tension no one puts their body under stress intentionally without the body wanting to fight back
- 48:01so when I'm doing a contraction on my arm where I'm holding at a static resistance it's uncomfortable
- 48:07yeah it actually ships the sympathetic nervous system and when the sympathetic nervous system is
- 48:11triggered in the brain the body's first response at a millisecond level is nitric oxide release
- 48:17okay nitric oxide we all know bodies natural vasodilator things start happening right one of the
- 48:24things that people don't realize is as as we age particularly in women and our cardiovascular
- 48:30health is such a bigger problem for women than it is men yeah which is completely backwards from
- 48:35everything we were brought up to believe I know because we think of dad having heart attack not mom
- 48:39right right and especially because estrogen is one of the body's primary vasodilators and
- 48:45his women are postmenopausal it actually that vasodilation becomes either worse for most men
- 48:52the truth is is this this nitric oxide production and the vasodilation and the early signs of heart
- 48:58issues normally starts in the formula ed well it it's the most visible sign that you'd have a
- 49:03circulatory problem yeah yeah and most noticeable and yet what do we do when a person is suffering
- 49:08or the rectile of this function give him a pill yeah we're not fixing systemic problem we're fixing
- 49:14a symptom this is the bodies it's a it's a it's a right on the dashboard it's a warning so check
- 49:21as something's wrong check engine oh okay well let's just put some tape over that light
- 49:27now I can't see the warning light anymore we must be better and it's like no guys that's not
- 49:31the deal so it's only you're not only getting that ecric oxide boost but part of it is during
- 49:36that muscle tension in your arm the sodium of potassium must stay at a balanced level in the body
- 49:42at all times so sodium gets released to stop the muscle from spasomy but in that process potassium
- 49:48also was released and if you think about an aging in the theory it was kind of like a sponge that's
- 49:54begun to lose its moisture so that sponge kind of dries out as the potassium moves through the
- 49:59endothelium it actually softens the endothelium again so you're forcing this reaction I say it's
- 50:06like I said you know using this as like a combo shot to the corner pocket I do this exercise the
- 50:11exercise causes the sodium release the sodium release then causes the potassium release the potassium
- 50:16release then softens the endothelium and with the endothelium wakes up it restores that innate
- 50:23intelligence the body to go oh my gosh I know what's going on here wait this is super pool and I say
- 50:28like it's the ultimate bio hack which is why I got involved with the company because I'm like
- 50:33this totally makes sense to me like it's it's a hard story to tell because the average person
- 50:39is no idea what you're talking about and we trained people to believe that we are a symptom
- 50:43reduction health care country all we do is focus on symptoms yeah I know and if all we do is focus
- 50:50on the symptom we never actually faired out the upstream I'm glad you talked about sodium
- 50:57potassium I've been talking about those importance of those ratios for well the reason I started
- 51:01talking about those so long ago as people were wanting to know what caused water retention with HGH
- 51:06use in MK677 and I took me to uncover that the main problem was is because we eat so much sodium
- 51:14and not enough potassium and the ratios were passed nothing wrong with sodium but people eat so
- 51:19many processed foods and things that are holding so much extra and like you said the bad kind
- 51:24and you know this people don't realize like everybody always comes up with the oh it's already
- 51:30eat that much protein thing and they have to eat so much when a reality the thing that's lacking
- 51:35in the diet is potassium and yet the problem is you can't supplement their way to proper potassium
- 51:40because potassium's limitation that weight is 99 milligrams potassium that is a
- 51:453% they could die and because you will actually stop your heart if you over supplement potassium
- 51:52like see a half to deal with Patricia I eat a ton of potassium but I have the potassium
- 51:58pill that's prescribed because I have this like severe low potassium issue consistently my mom
- 52:03had that yeah you know I think the part of it is this over sweating and training and the
- 52:08easy of dehydration and I was on guardians for a heart like hug you know I say heart failure
- 52:13but it's it was just the improved ejection fraction and that was draining so I have the
- 52:19oh the 10 pill for potassium I take twice a day and then it stopped all the heart
- 52:24palpitations because of potassium which is like draining you know so I get it under control I
- 52:29you don't want to live off those forever but you know it like you said you can only put so much in
- 52:34like search some powders that have more in there but if you don't if you're just relying on
- 52:38a supplement not eating it that's a problem right and realistically and you tell me what you think
- 52:43I I always tell people at the minimum 3500 milligrams but ideally more like 47 47 is the real
- 52:49number the real number the 35 is the we don't really want to hear the truth but we think we can
- 52:54get by with this amount but it's not that it's not enough it's not and and the amount of potassium
- 53:00like what is after bit book a number is it's been a while since I've looked at the statistic but it's
- 53:04like only 17% of the population is even in range no like I mean it's a ridiculous number and if
- 53:11you ask people what they're doing to to take his or I mean about out if it's not even close every
- 53:18every single time because he don't would realize that like you don't by name and you're way out
- 53:22of open eye away and that's not even close to the best food and it's not even that because for you
- 53:27prevent I know I you know where I get a ton of potassium is avocados avocados exactly I was
- 53:33gonna say because you're not only getting potassium but you're also getting the healthy fat I
- 53:38get because I eat so much avocado I'd normally get almost a thousand milligrams or more just
- 53:43from the amount of avocado I eat every day it loves that yeah the problem is is I like my
- 53:48avocado smashed up with tortilla chips max the issue hey that's my kind of I love avocados as
- 53:57but you know I did good guac I didn't start even at even eating them till about I don't know
- 54:01your year and a half ago that's so funny I hated avocados my entire life and probably like 10
- 54:07years ago I went to to lunch with my sister in my dad one day they ordered guacamole and
- 54:14like on shillies or something terrible and I'm like and I just took a scoop and was like wow
- 54:18this is really good what have I been doing all that nowadays like I will put avocados on anything
- 54:23you know I didn't like it because I thought I didn't like it by the way it looked totally yeah
- 54:28they actually actually ate it I was like I really rocked avocados on burgers and everything I
- 54:35believed right now I did not starting till about a year and a half ago or so and I can't
- 54:40live without any of it and I want your opinion on this in in kind of towards the end here because
- 54:44I think this is important and I talk about this freely but I want your thinking and see if
- 54:50the coincides of my thinking you know I I talked about things I found with my heart the calcium
- 54:55score and having some blockage there finding it's not great but early enough and then like low
- 55:03ejection fraction later and and I argue yeah I needing this order but I think the main problem
- 55:10was this low fat diet affair of fats for my whole life and I think that all of those foods that
- 55:15we thought were healthy and me doing that for so many years from like 11 till 42 of starvation
- 55:25overtraining and it's not given my body everything and and we're laughing but in all honesty
- 55:31I lived on vegetables oatmeal egg whites and factory yogurt for years and years and years of no
- 55:37meat no fats no this and the minute that I changed that not only did I get more lean and cut up
- 55:43from doubling calorie and taking going from 15 grams of fat a day to 130 right yeah and then my
- 55:51all of my heart numbers that are supposed to be terrible from all the fat drastically got better
- 55:57and like all of the things I was deficient and just opened up like everything the only thing that
- 56:02went up was my LDL went up a little bit of course by my HD I went up by 30 points right
- 56:08long as you got a belly yeah so I wonder for you because then I had a low ejection fraction
- 56:16I believe this from the overtrain and the drug use and and the Giardians help but now I got it
- 56:21back for like 50 which is still not I want it 55 is 70 but do you think that that low fat
- 56:26diet was the main contributing factor to and do you think it's a contributing factor to
- 56:32potential plaque or ferro sclerosis build up from you know those foods and then starving from
- 56:37the nutrients that we need yeah I would argue I'll say two things one the same thing we talked
- 56:41about earlier this I don't know your exact physiology yeah that's or no because other things may
- 56:46be a play too so I never want to over generalize yeah something there's more issue it for sure the
- 56:51answer is could be yeah I don't disagree that that's a thing um but we also I mean you hear
- 56:58about stuff left the blood type diets and this type of stuff right like everybody goes and becomes
- 57:03this brand advocate for you know on keto I'm only on carnivore and oh if you get in human bodies
- 57:09that's like everybody goes on this this attack of you know my way of doing things is the best way
- 57:14of doing things and like we started the whole conversation and then everybody should do exactly
- 57:19what I do and while I'm a big fan big fan of high protein mocarb diets and I think it's the
- 57:26right way that your body is used to fighting I'm also a big fan of fasting for the purpose of
- 57:30autophagy and all these reasons because I think that is good for everyone the reality is is that
- 57:36we need to be able to it I personally I run my blood work every six months but I get my
- 57:41blood work done every six months and my I do three but six is good I mean I do six months I used
- 57:48to do a year yeah six or R.A. just really good pretty normal like six every six months I'll
- 57:53redo all my blood markers and then it again because I'm a performer I gamify now what can I get
- 58:00the next panel to look like yeah like here's what was off on this one what do I want to do with
- 58:05this one and and I'll give you I'll do it more often like I do one in January and there was some
- 58:09stuff on there I did not like and I'm like hmm okay what was that I'm like wait a minute I don't
- 58:14think I fasted the morning I did the blood work though and then I'm like well did I or did
- 58:18hurt by trying to like I didn't remember yeah as I always have them come to my office and do it yeah
- 58:23be yeah so I'm playing mobile full bottom as gas out the all in the morning they came to do it I was
- 58:27like I don't normally eat anything in the morning but then I forgot and it'll skew a totally didn't
- 58:33it threw off a bunch of numbers that actually I was not happy with so I reran the march but I was
- 58:39like well I'm gonna go ahead to get everything I came to get these in line before the blood
- 58:44panel comes due in March and again with only two months between yeah like if something is wrong
- 58:50that concerns me I'm gonna make behavioral and lifestyle changes for those two months and see if
- 58:55I can pull this back over control yeah by March literally everything was no I love it the only
- 59:01thing that was off was my AST was was elevated even higher than it was in January which was
- 59:08interesting but AST being higher March didn't surprise me because now ALT was fine
- 59:13ALT was perfectly arranged and AST was high so it's kind of like I'm like well that doesn't
- 59:19sound like a liver issue actually AST can be elevated just based on the heavy train yeah so
- 59:23absolutely if this is muscular tension yet I damage it tissue keep train that's fine but like
- 59:29everything else is back in control so when I look at what diet is appropriate for somebody and so
- 59:35on well it depends where are you they're tools they're not meant to be used forever it's
- 59:40they're tools who I say that over and over these people that just go in and argue and fight
- 59:45bitch and complain and say they start calling people names because they're preaching about something
- 59:51it's like dude listen these nutrients are here for a purpose there's there's three things there
- 59:57for a reason because we do need them at certain points I'm not saying just like you I prefer a
- 1:00:02lower carb diet that there's times where we need more actually and you can't stay metabolically
- 1:00:06flexible if you just or just radica heels that's on no and sometimes I do it because I'm
- 1:00:12regimented and I'm like shept I can't I got be careful here you know what I mean let it in the
- 1:00:16thing is is like I'm gonna add one other layer in there too it's yeah if you're bidding all these
- 1:00:21lapses are done are you dealing with all of the issues that actually affect absorption because
- 1:00:27you may be eating right and not even absorbed as it was your take it in like what what are you
- 1:00:31doing to try gut health yes because you may just be passing all the nutrients right right
- 1:00:36yeah your body has no idea what to even do with what's taking place I guess that far not in the
- 1:00:41gut health so there are people who eat grape and continue to struggle and and can't move like
- 1:00:49they're spending thousands of dollars in supplements over the course of a month and you know
- 1:00:53I laughed at it I worked for me at one point he saw my supplement stack which is absurd and it's
- 1:00:59true and and he wanted he's like I got to get some chips like what do you take tell me what you
- 1:01:03take so I can do that and like what I'll tell you what I do but what I do is because of my latest
- 1:01:09labors on rise not because this is what I recommend for him nobody so he's just like well just give
- 1:01:14me that so I'll just look all these things up anyways and I'm like sure whatever so he took the
- 1:01:18list and I've got all my supplement stack all organized and it's in four different categories and
- 1:01:22one is you know one of my categories is for nutritional supplementation like if there are
- 1:01:26things that I just don't eat enough of I need to know how to supplement that yeah one is longevity
- 1:01:30focused and then one is is antioxidant focused and then y'all whatever and one is performance stack
- 1:01:37like there are some things I do that I just do for performance space they've nothing to do with
- 1:01:42within like I'll do spermy day blower because I think it's just good for anybody
- 1:01:47same thing oh and the same thing with resbaratrol you're like all the but I've keep this that
- 1:01:52hey determined comes back to my I was a couple of those I was like I looked up all your supplements
- 1:01:56he's like you're like swallowing a car payment like mm-hmm like that yes yeah and he's just like
- 1:02:03I can't I can't afford that no one asks you to don't you don't have to yeah get back to the
- 1:02:09basic that's it figure out your nutrition figure out your lifestyle who it is I'm innocent dude
- 1:02:14strange right yeah it is and supplements are there to supplement what you're missing so in our
- 1:02:20subtle you know I I want to tell you this um me and Queenie went on vacation we go over
- 1:02:27year of Florida and I got home from the trip and you know I I trust me I spend my time
- 1:02:31of the ocean when I'm there like that's all I care to do whether you're an older and I I
- 1:02:36liver values were off the chart I thought man I use some charms and I got that okay this is
- 1:02:40you know which did damage like you know and this was you six months prior but I think you know
- 1:02:46and uh for two and a half years my ALT and my AST work it started in 300s and my doctor after like
- 1:02:55it wasn't that big a deal which I knew you know better off it it wasn't but I I just kept hovering
- 1:03:00at like one nineteen and ninety for ALC AST and I just couldn't do and I you know Siggy's a good
- 1:03:07friend of mine we did two fiber scans and he's like man you have the liver of like
- 1:03:12he was he but it's like the best that he ever see on fiber scans I just did a city scan
- 1:03:17after my liver was doing crazy stuff I just did a scan with them and they're like no your
- 1:03:22liver is like going easy yeah showing off right that's what he told me well you know what I I don't
- 1:03:29want I'm not pushing a product here by any stress with this this was my key was glue to find
- 1:03:34yeah and that's Dr. Patel who I think is one of the most brilliant and kind Dr. Nayan Patel
- 1:03:41that does oral like good friend he is he does topical blue pit glue if that's what I started to
- 1:03:47use and I had and I was talking about this on think I'm my video about when I do a video I
- 1:03:54said I'm not gonna sit here and spew a bunch of BS about this product for science I'm showing
- 1:03:59you right here on this paper that in two and a half months when I was stuck for two and a half
- 1:04:03years this is down to forty and thirty eight that is not my access I didn't change anything
- 1:04:10nothing most people would do it is found to fish I had to it and it is like the body's natural
- 1:04:15in and thigh box that is like the the best anti yes in the world and most people are deficient I am
- 1:04:21yes I know that and Nayan is a good friend and hence it's amazing the top of the aura I rub it
- 1:04:27rub it on I still do on my stomach because that's what he told me on a podcast but regardless
- 1:04:32anywhere that you don't have hair Ryan and I'm telling you man I'll never not use it again
- 1:04:36that breathy but well because things like that and I and my even my mercury level went way down
- 1:04:43what do I do yes now branded my mercury level got high because when I changed my diet it was
- 1:04:48eco-frican salmon like six days a week which is not ideal I don't care how good it is for you
- 1:04:53but and and I'm sure that me winding that down help I need to actually use more his product
- 1:04:58I'll just it's just talking with him of a4n that he was ponby and she's awesome yeah he's
- 1:05:03actually and supposed to be on his podcast actually in the month or so he's really she yeah all
- 1:05:08he's one of my few partners that I work with one of my air if you and I'm me and Dave are the only
- 1:05:13two non doctors that he acts they are partners yes yes he's all this but yeah no he's fantastic
- 1:05:20and his product because I had the exact same issue with mercury but I actually discovered this
- 1:05:26is crazy when I was 14 or 15 I had two amaldos and wow and literally I was doing in a liguscan
- 1:05:36in a liguscan you're familiar with the oliguscan right yes years ago didn't a liguscan and found
- 1:05:41out mercury toxicity so on and it never occurred to me is it is involved as we are in this space
- 1:05:49sometimes the obvious and I ended up going to a to a biological dentist and at the
- 1:05:54valley put on their hazmat suits and it nothing else to get him out and got rid of the amalgams
- 1:06:00and I'm like okay now I need to deal with mercury toxicity because nothing that I was doing was
- 1:06:05working and I'm like and I was using the fluid aside and no it was in my body because I'm
- 1:06:09literally heading to the amaldos but yeah I actually just bringing him a West Palm Beach you know I
- 1:06:15met him when we went to a tram in December of 24 yeah I went there specifically to watch a
- 1:06:25speech and I normally don't go to a lot of speeches and we got in there a little early and he was
- 1:06:29talking and I just was like enthralled and I go and do well with speeches right just like I get
- 1:06:35I'm all over the place right so that's got to be something special and I couldn't I couldn't stop
- 1:06:39well I'm gonna tell you my the first time I'm now I was the opposite I was speaking and he ended
- 1:06:46up coming up to me oh after the speech and introducing himself I was like no I don't know this guy
- 1:06:52and then he introduced into like some breakies and like a really we were actually I was talking at a
- 1:06:57hyperbaric convention in Pensacola and funny enough I was talking to their like VIP group but my
- 1:07:04first book that I ever published is called date your clients and it is literally like a juxtaposition
- 1:07:10between the way that we deal in personal relationships and the way we deal in business relationships
- 1:07:14oh the seed day yeah and as I so I was actually talking to this group of practitioners about
- 1:07:20how do you increase your volume through your clinic and how do you end up with sticky your
- 1:07:24business and so so for sort of more of a business lecture and and it was so funny because
- 1:07:30nine comes up to me at the end and he's like I just want to introduce me so you just said what
- 1:07:34I've been saying for years and like ten needs to know this and well I feel like so we've been
- 1:07:39buddies else like those years ago he's so funny it's funny because I saw him speak and then I
- 1:07:43started my podcast on like six months later as one of the the stuff start rolling in and that
- 1:07:49somebody wrote me want to get him on my show and that's how I met him and then I just hit it
- 1:07:54off with him just like he's classy he's good friends with my buddy I need to introduce you
- 1:07:58Sanjay Bojaraj do you know Sanjay no I think he goes by the curious cardiologist all you got
- 1:08:04to introduce super cool yeah well Sanjay is amazing and he's actually really good friends
- 1:08:08with knives as well I would love about yeah well I guess as usual when we talk we the long I know
- 1:08:14I'm like this has got to be longer than it is greedy warning a little bit of going to time
- 1:08:18and I just kind of ignore because I had so many things I still want to I appreciate that the the
- 1:08:24notice but I just kind of allow whatever oh man well that's the beauty of not have me being in my
- 1:08:31paid studio where when they come up there I got to stop or they're gonna charge me for over just
- 1:08:36said well no you're hearing this ends us when I say like no over time no well dude like I said one
- 1:08:44I mean like the biggest thank you again for what you did for me yesterday and you know I know
- 1:08:50you played a role in me coming here that I didn't even know about till yesterday and I think the
- 1:08:58the not even I don't want to call it a friendship because I feel like it's like a family that
- 1:09:02quick and I just know and I don't say that lightly and I don't offer that or it's not like it's
- 1:09:10some big deal that you're that I consider you that like for you I don't want to act like that
- 1:09:14for to me it is um and uh I told you I meet thousands and thousands of people but the ones that
- 1:09:21make the biggest mark on me are the ones I want to be around forever and you're one of those few
- 1:09:25and far between so thank you for that thank you for what you do thank you for the message thank you
- 1:09:31for you know I always want to say when somebody's bold and what they do but it's just for doing what
- 1:09:38your spokes do for doing God's will and doing what was intended to do I appreciate that more than
- 1:09:44anything all of this is amazing it is but to me the biggest thing I appreciate of all of it and you
- 1:09:50could give me anything it's just the messaging man it's just the messaging from one to another
- 1:09:57that's why we got to stick together you know so thank you for all of this
- 1:10:01block dude I can't it's been a been a blast didn't know you last while in the feeling couldn't be
- 1:10:07well mutual well you are the man my friend and I appreciate all of this and I have a feeling this
