  Speaker 1: wrong with me. I went to this really cool tattoo

  Speaker 1: artist that like loves banana fish, so I didn't feel

  Speaker 1: as weird about all of this. I'll name drop them

  Speaker 1: fish tattoo in Brooklyn or any sort of manga tattoo

  Speaker 1: for all you know, this looks like shit, but it doesn't.

  Speaker 1: short parody written by Ernest Hemingway. I also think it's

  Speaker 1: kind of a mean title for the episode. I don't

  Speaker 1: know if what we're implying is banal, but you know,

  Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to say that the episode is boring.

  Speaker 1: It's actually one of my probably least favorite episodes. Maybe
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: I don't know, trying to think maybe in this kind
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: of first half, but it's a good episode. I wouldn't

  Speaker 1: call it banal. So kind of seemed like a mean
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: thing to title an episode of an anime, but whatever,

  Speaker 1: definitely my least favorite episode title of the series. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: that's enough of that, okay. So if you remember where

  Speaker 1: we ended the last episode, it was pretty fucking intense

  Speaker 1: because Jessica and Michael were in their living room and

  Speaker 1: a group of guys had just walked in and were

  Speaker 1: approaching them. Right, so things are probably not good anyway.

  Speaker 1: We start this episode with the gang sitting around like

  Speaker 1: a coffee table in like a living room, drinking some

  Speaker 1: sort of hot drinks that I actually think are probably

  Speaker 1: tea and eating sandwiches, and that old woman who I
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: don't remember her name, is pouring I wrote down coffee,
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: so I guess maybe they're drinking coffee. I don't know.

  Speaker 1: I thought I remembered tea from later on, but maybe
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: I'm wrong. It doesn't matter. They're drinking something warm. So

  Speaker 1: everybody's just eating inside and Max's phone starts to buzz

  Speaker 1: and she's like, you're not gonna pick it up. Max

  Speaker 1: looks down at the phone and is horrified because, as

  Speaker 1: he says, it's Jessica ashes like did you forget to
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: pay your alimony or something? And Max is like, shut up,
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: you little punk, and he picks up the phone and
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: he's like, hey, Jessica, and then he looks shocked and
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: he's like, who are you? And we cut to one
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: of those guys, I guess, the main guy, running his
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: hand through Jessica's hair and holding her phone, and he says,
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: your wife tastes delicious. It's a shame you two split
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: up here, and he reaches the phone over to Jessica,
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: and Jessica says Max, and Max says Jessica, and then
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: we cut back to Jessica and we see that she's
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: sitting on the floor and the guy who's holding the
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: phone to her ear is behind her on the couch,
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: and she looks pretty beat up, like stuff probably happened.

  Speaker 1: I don't think it's supposed to be ambiguous at all.

  Speaker 1: And I wrote that the guy on the couch his

  Speaker 1: clothes looks kind of mussed, but I actually went back

  Speaker 1: to the last episode and he's just not a very
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: sharp dresser, So I don't know if that was supposed
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: to mean anything. But yeah, this doesn't really look like
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: good things have happened, right, Sorry, I don't know why

  Speaker 1: I'm dancing around this. This whole show is just about assaults,

  Speaker 1: so it looks like she's been raped anyway. She says,

  Speaker 1: and my Michael and Jessica like embrace and are hugging

  Speaker 1: really tightly, and Max is like, wait, touch them and

  Speaker 1: I'll put a bullet through your brain. And he stands

  Speaker 1: and he's like shaking and then the phone just disconnects.

  Speaker 1: The line goes dead. Ash looks at yue Lung and says,
• 6:18
  Speaker 1: do you have any guns here? And yue Lung is like,
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: just my father's shotgun. Ash says, go get it bullets too.

  Speaker 1: Yue Lung walks away, and Max says Ash and Ash
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: is like, it seems like they're not gonna let us
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: go back to New York so easily. We cut to
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: a little later when Ash is loading his gun and
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: Max is holding the shotgun and Ash says, you guys
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: stay here, and she's like but, and Ash cuts him
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: off and says, this is my thing. I'll give the
• 6:46
  Speaker 1: orders finally, and AG's like Ash, and he looks kind
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: of scared, but like also like he really wants to come.
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: And Ash says, don't look at me like that, just
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: leave this to me, and then dishorder very quietly. He
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: says you stay here, and Shorter says why, Ashes like,

  Speaker 1: something's not right. If they wanted to lure us out,

  Speaker 1: they'd move the hostages instead of trap. If leaving this

  Speaker 1: place unguarded is their aim, those two would be in danger,

  Speaker 1: and he points to Ag and Shanigi protect them. He

  Speaker 1: puts his hand on Shorter's shoulder for a second, and

  Speaker 1: then they walk away. Shorter looks stressed and he calls

  Speaker 1: out to Ash, and Ash turns back, and Shorter is

  Speaker 1: shaking and trying to get up the courage to say something,

  Speaker 1: but he notices that ue Lung is right behind him,

  Speaker 1: and he just kind of gives up says be careful,

  Speaker 1: and Ash is like, of course, and they leave and

  Speaker 1: Shorter stares at the door. Fuck Shorter, I wish you
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: said something. I know he can't say anything because his
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: sister could be in danger. She could be killed or
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: assaulted or both of those things. But god, damn it,

  Speaker 1: this is gonna be bad. Then we go to the

  Speaker 1: opening the yeah, back from the opening, Ash and Max

  Speaker 1: are in the car and Ash is driving while Max

  Speaker 1: is hugging the shotgun tightly. And I didn't know that

  Speaker 1: driver's license. But I could be wrong about that. I

  Speaker 1: he has one. Anyway, he's driving and he says, get

  Speaker 1: We go back to the mansion and Shunici and Asi're

  Speaker 1: sitting and Shunici says, those filthy bastards, how could they?

  Speaker 1: of them, and they run towards the house and Max

  Speaker 1: I guess inside, he's like Jessica, Michael, and he runs

  Speaker 1: to the doorway of the living room and like there
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: are cops there and they like try to pull him
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: back and they're like, hey, you can't. And we see
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: Jessica is like wrapped in a blankets and Michael runs
• 9:49
  Speaker 1: over to him and hugs him and he's like daddy
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: and he starts to cry and Max is like, Michael,
• 9:55
  Speaker 1: I'm so glad you're okay, and he like hugs him

  Speaker 1: like super tight, and she is standing in the doorway watching.

  Speaker 1: Max stands up and picks up Michael, and at this

  Speaker 1: point Jessica's gotten up too, and Max says Jessica and

  Speaker 1: she looks so pissed and also like so so hurt emotionally.

  Speaker 1: And at this point, Ash you know, reaches out his

  Speaker 1: arms and is like, come with me, Michael, your mom

  Speaker 1: and dad have to talk. And he picks him up
• 10:25
  Speaker 1: out of Max's arms and walks out of the room.

  Speaker 1: Once they are totally gone, Max and Jessica just stare
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: at each other and then Jessica just slaps him like
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: really hard, and he just stands there and takes it,
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: and then she like jumps into his arms and he
• 10:44
  Speaker 1: holds her like really tightly, and she's like I was
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: so scared, so scared, and she starts to cry. And

  Speaker 1: then we cut to Ash and Michael who are outside,
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: and Michael is on that swing that we saw him
• 10:57
  Speaker 1: in last episode. Ash is kneeling on the ground next

  Speaker 1: to him. Michael says, they just came crashing in. Mommy

  Speaker 1: tried to hide me in the kitchen and then they
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: got mad and then and then he starts like crying

  Speaker 1: and Ash hugs him and it's like, I'm so sorry

  Speaker 1: for making you remember that. Yeah, if anybody was gonna

  Speaker 1: talk to him about this, actually Ash was the perfect

  Speaker 1: person given his experience. Anyway, did your mom call the cops? Yeah,

  Speaker 1: he was on the phone with mommy And Ash's like, okay,

  Speaker 1: he's like, Gina won't be happy if you let his

  Speaker 1: precious toy die. Yue Lung starts to laugh and they

  Speaker 1: look over and Lee is like, don't be rude and you.

  Speaker 1: Lung's like, sorry, I couldn't help it, and Shorter says,

  Speaker 1: laugh if you want, what's it gonna be, Arthur. Arthur

  Speaker 1: kind of doesn't know what to do with this point,

  Speaker 1: and Lee stands and says, dear me, it seems he
