- 0:07[SPEAKER_01]: My name is Phoebe and my name is Caroline and today we are recapping season two episode one of gossip girl called some are kind of wonderful.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't love the comma placement in the title.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's summer kind of wonderful.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: I hate it.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like the title at all.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's based on some kind of wonderful, right?
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's my assumption.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: Which isn't some kind of wonderful.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: Even though that is honestly a good phrase because it's true.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: Some are kind of wonderful.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: Some not so much, some not so much.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, before I start the episode, I just want to say a couple things.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: The first is that I am scared of Phoebe right now.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to tearable mood.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she broke the fourth wall and told you.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: I just am, sorry.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see how you could be.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: You're in beautiful Pittsburgh PI.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to have a freaking pirate game tonight.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_01]: You are like Queen of Pittsburgh sports.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: He were literally, and look what I've got right here, a wedding speech in front of me, the Phoebe printed out by the way on my printer, how dare.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: Well, how did I even print it out on your, because I know what you're trying to do.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we're in the studio, and my printer down here is for sheep music and scripts.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, she music and scripts only, and I print out a song for a student, and she picks it up, and
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: What's on the bottom of the stack?
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: Phoebe's freaking wedding speech for her friends.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, nice try.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: You're trying to get this as a monologue.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: You want this to be in the audition packet for yes you do?
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I just put that.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: Our parents have had a hundred printers in our lifetime.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I didn't know which one was it.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: And so I just had it print both.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: And then I figured it was like the dead printer-ups.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's in mom's offload.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: She didn't mean that.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I didn't know your name.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and what, and hey, what is your name?
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and look, I'm not the one that comes up with names.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: I have to ask Anthony, that's true.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know the names, I really need Astroma.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of, did you guys smooth things over?
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, drama, FaceTime Phoebe last night.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: She didn't answer.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: He left her a scathing video voicemail.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: And then I FaceTime to him back and he didn't answer.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he was pissed.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: He was freaking pissed right off.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: Here's a thing, though.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: I thought I would have the luxury of being able to rewatch the video that drama recorded for Phoebe.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: But it poof.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: I wish I saved it, I think.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: It once you send it a video voicemail.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: You no longer get to happen.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: Well, similarly to a real voicemail.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, true.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I guess they didn't model it after the traditional voice mail, huh?
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, probably.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: Well, anyway, drama was just wondering if Phoebe watched us an L and just before we start, I just want to say,
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: Does this bar take cash?
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's my new vocal stream.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: It really is so funny to me.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: I laughed out loud.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: The SNL code opened from this past week, featuring Matt Damon as Brett Kavanaugh, Colin Joe's to speedhedseth, and as he's in Zary as Cash Patel, actually so good.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: And they went for it.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the partner, he's like, Brett Kavanaugh walks into the bar
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: How'd you know I was in here?
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: And Brett Kavanaugh says, well, I just saw a bunch of girls covering their drinks, and then feedbacks of this, and I love that we share that.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, that's sorry, that's so funny.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: And then as he sends Ari walks in, as Cash Patel and his first line is, is this part a cash?
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, it's, it's just like,
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: dark, Tom, however.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like, dark, buddy, but dark, Tom, from part of that.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, Tom, however, heard was questionable as well, but it was just, I don't know why I just thought of it so funny.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like, did you think it was funny?
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: That line didn't do it for me the way I did it for you.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: Is it just because I had ruined it first?
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: No, I just, I think I actually maybe, and no of, don't take a fence to the show, it might just be the way you deliver it.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: Holy shit.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: And remember when I said I'm absolutely terrified of my core of Phoebe today, this this would be why.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: She hates my impressions you guys.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: She, you would be proud of me.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: You want to know something that someone said when I gave my wedding speech, something that I heard from behind me, you know, you overheard someone talking quite literally behind your back.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, obviously proud, but I'll be thrilled.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: Someone said, whoa, like that was a pretty big word.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: And what was the word?
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: Goosh.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, he's like, guys, most weddings.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of goosh, wouldn't you say?
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Not this one.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: I won't see all the silhouettes dancing around the room.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: Silhouette of your dress, chefs, kiss.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: And everyone's like, wait, what did she do?
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: Is she speaking, or those spells?
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: OK, you have a eye, do a lingo street.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she just put the hocks on the room.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, that was nice of you to put a hocks on the room during your wedding speech.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Phoebe is good at giving, giving wedding speeches.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: She gave a good one.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: I guess so.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: So one that I give it, you're a wedding, though.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_01]: No one's going to remember a word you ever said.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to make it all about me.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, will I be officiating your wedding?
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well, it's not a no.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, we'll see how your first time as an fishing goes this summer.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: But you will go fabulous.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: Of course.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, okay, this is just my comedy hour.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, guys.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: I know you think you're getting married, but I'm going to be testing out jokes.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be working the crowd, okay?
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'll have crowd work up here.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be doing full crowd work.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: And physical comedy, of course.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: So if you just swung her mic around twice, that's a joke.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's a reference.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, this is an audio part.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, there's no video because we are live and in person.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: This is when you win.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: This is when Pat Cohen went, this is my crowdwork.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, okay, I should just always know that it's a cat Cohen reference.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, I'm really sorry.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: I started watching Hacks last night, which I've already watched, but like, did I watch the first season of Hacks a million times?
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: I need to rewatch all of it before I finish it.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: I am pretty much caught up, though, I think.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: The problem is that Anthony and I were watching it together, but Anthony doesn't like binge.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: And that just doesn't work for me.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: We're on different places.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: So I need to be able to have the freedom to watch by myself.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I was, you know, it was like 1 a.m. in the basement with the boys, watching some hacks.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: And what was it that him and Nick Stelter said, like, I can't miss my adult.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: I have an adult ballet ever titled tonight and I can't miss this one.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: I miss the last one, I really can't miss this one.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: or like when Jesus is still listening on the phone and she's like girl and they're like get off the boat.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: She's so good.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how Hacks wins in Emmy every single year.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: Multiple Emmys and people still don't get Meg Stalker.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm all that.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: But she doesn't want to go culture now.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: I do want to say.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: Jean Smart, I adore you.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she's about to talk.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: Shit, I just think we're ready to move on from you winning for this role.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm 100 and quite honestly, I think the shit, like, I think she's tired of it, too.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's embarrassing at a certain point.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's like that year that someone won a ton of Grammys, and they were like, I don't wanna come up and talk anymore.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: you know.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, why?
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so let's let's get into it guys crazy cameo in this episode.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: We won't give it away.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: Did your jaw drop to the floor?
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I was like, was like, is that?
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I was too distracted by
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: By me not being able to remember Dan Humphrey's name for a second.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: I just shoot a strategy by Dan Humphrey playing Joe Goldberg cosplay in this like I was like, this is the library from you.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: I know literally this is the story that he goes in and makes out with every girl who works there is the one he works out.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, well, oh, he makes it easy.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: Don't shit where you eat.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: So for a second I was like I was distracted by that trying to come up with some kind of joke.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: I guess maybe and didn't obviously
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: make it here, but you said, wait, I recognize that girl and then I googled, you had to google.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I googled Jackie Molina.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you just gave it away.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I was totally keeping it a secret.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: Well, okay, Jackie Malena's in this episode.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, it's not a different character, it's Jackie.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: But I Googled her and then I clicked on the actress and then I Googled the actress's name with Gossip Girl and Loan Behold.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, I think that the character name is literally first girl with Dan.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's great because we know her name, yeah.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I'd be kind of, it'd be hateful if they gave her a different name.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: Which is like, okay, Jackie Malena's was, wait, Bacilitrics.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: And they never say her name one time, but on IMDB it says she plays Bustula Tricks in the season two episode.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: What a gossip girl.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: Um, suddenly amputee is not so original.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean drama.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Dan.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: This kind of, it's like, okay, Jackie Malena, when you go back to Rosewood, get off your high horse about an appropriate age gap relationship.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: And also, I want to say, Jackie Malena, get out of the English circuit girl.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: You are first in Asia, and this is an older junior.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: You went in that bug in Portal.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: You came out into New York, and you just tried to do the exact same thing.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll talk all about her, but like, I just want to say, Jackie Malena, you have things to answer for.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: Dan, Humphrey, could play as a reference.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: As her fits as kid.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, yeah, wouldn't it have been as far as been said it's Felix in and was Mason as Rose kid's name fake kid not really as good with that little boy.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't I feel like so it wasn't It wasn't feel like it was I think it was Mason no cuz Mason was your your confusing Mason from Wizards away for the place because that's no egg sokin.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: It was not I know about that Mason and Greg sokin No, it was um
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: I literally just watched the storyline.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: You need help.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: Google it.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I'll do it, Google it.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: And that's not.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm getting like pissed off about it.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: Maggie and it was kind of a weird name, I think.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: Malcolm.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: Malcolm, that's close.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: I guess in his quote, it's M.A.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Phoebe gave me a look like girl.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's like fun.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: I just sound the same at all.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: They both have ma.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: They both have ma.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: Don't party without me.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's not.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: Don't make me drink alone.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: Don't make me drink alone.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: That the Phoebe and I now will me greet each other.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say does this bar take cash?
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: She's going to say don't make me drink alone.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be us walking into any bar and everyone's like bar's closed actually.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: First closed last night I walked into the slune to be greeted by basically the entirety of the mallet staff.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, well, that's a great dream on planet.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: You also got a mallet's guest today.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, not the horrible side.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I was not I we did have a great time But I was like guys if I go there, I'm never gonna leave to the saloon.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: No, if I go to mall it's with you guys With who
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: Did you go to the saloon first?
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I think Mimi and I went to like, that's great.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: Mimi and I went to a little Tokyo, and then we went to the saloons, so she could see it.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: And we were just going to be there for like an hour or two, and then we ran into them, and Mimi loved hanging out with them.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: And then we went to mallets because that was a way to get a ride to Beverly and the Mimi realized it was so cold She actually didn't want to walk So we stayed okay for just a little bit and then We were driven home.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: I thought I might have to say called me over
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it was like, I'll buy the Uber.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, Mimi, and Uber's not going to come here.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: And Uber's going to be 38 cents.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, actually.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: And Uber's going to be $38 for a two-minute drive.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: Five-bet, not even.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: True.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: So let's just, we can either wait.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: And not that Mimi wanted to leave it.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, let's just, I'm ready to go.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just walk.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: Instead of waiting for the ride.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, Mimi's like, I'm ready to go.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: Means.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: Means.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's time to go.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: Do you ever think of means?
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so let's start the episode.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: So we start with this montage of two hotty is hooking up, and it kind of looks like Nate and Serena.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: It really does.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: They're really trying to make us think this.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: If you didn't know, it was Nate and Serena, you would think it was.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: And, and we do get that confirmation that it's Nate, we see him in the rear of your mirror, and you know what I realized, we really don't get many car hookups in this show, considering we're all in the real season one episode one.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: Who hooks up in the car or she with the teacher?
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: Man, I have forgotten Riverdale.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: I used to watch that on the treadmill because nothing got my heart racing like that show.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, I literally never know what's gonna happen next.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's true.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: It keeps me on my feet.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: That does seem to me think of a mom fell off the treadmill playing candy cross.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: No, it was actually even funnier what you was playing.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: But, sure be a crack.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: He said, you know, I'm a show up here, I know, but I can't think about it too much.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: I can't think about it too much.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, how was she not hurt?
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure she was, but then you have to finish your work out.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: You have absolutely cannot leave out for that.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you can't just go to Ellie.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's just all of a sudden.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: It just works someone and then leave.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: And no, that's not sexual slots.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_01]: You sounded like that.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: So we get a confirmation that it's it's innate, but who's the girl who's a girl?
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh god, is that a wrinkle?
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: Just kidding.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: I know where I get it.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think it would be cool if the reveal was we see the left hand with the red with the wedding ring.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: That would have been cool.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: That would have been cool.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: Not on her freaking shriveled up arm.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's like this.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's like three hours of liver scented arms.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like serene wind the beach that makes you old.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, we're in the Hamptons and I don't think there is no to be chis in the Hamptons.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, this girl is in Riverdale too, I think.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she's got a mom, isn't she?
- 14:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think she's in something else too, but she's definitely about his mom.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay, wait.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, now he has some new freaking face.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_01]: Now we have to rewatch Riverdale so we can, okay, loop.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: We can figure out how that, how this connects.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: And then that connects to Serena and whatever, adventures of the teenage witch,
- 14:38[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Karen and Chica, well because that's in the arch universe, okay, sorry, and we didn't realize pretty little liars in Riverdale.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: We're so, and actually in that's how it becomes a circle, because Ravens would as probably connected to Sabrina.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, and Ravens would as also giving it's connected to Riverdale.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, a few times.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so anyhow, um,
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: We're in the Hampton's and I, again, I don't think there are any new beaches here.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: We'll revisit this idea, but Nate says to this woman as they're hooking up that Serena is like covering for him, so Serena and Nate are pretending that they're dating, because he hasn't told her who he's seeing yet, and Nate is like in theory, such a romantic.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think Nate wants to be like the romantic settle down with the girlfriend, but like he doesn't actually, you know what I mean?
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: West.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, how dare you compare good guy Nate to know what do you know?
- 15:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like he is.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: He wants like he's he's he's, you know, with an order married woman.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: Because she won't commit.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like, he, yeah, I guess that's true.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to then be able to present himself to the world as like this good guy who would want to commit.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, true.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: True.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, I get it.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm an ally that I could get there, but I
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but Nate says to this woman, he's like, I'm not ready.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: I just told Serena that I'm not ready to introduce the person I'm seeing to anyone yet.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: And this woman like throws him against the face or ever, or ever.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, better, better.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: But Serena has been getting over her breakup, so they're covering kind of like for each other.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and now Nate and this woman are going to go to her guest house to continue the sex.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh.
- 16:27[UNKNOWN]: TOO!
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: And so if you're this woman, and you're married to a rich man, if you're this woman, you're a Betty Cooper's mom.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: You are a mother.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: Go back to Riverdale and parent your child.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know what she's doing?
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: She's singing Mad World at a bar and a letter jacket.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: doing a strip tease.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, but I forgot, like, mother, like, daughter.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, anyway, but, like, if I'm this one, I'm like, okay, and I, I'm sitting back for a moment.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I am hooking up with a minor by the way in a car in the front seat of a car by the way, go to the back.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like, in the end, even though you should have this thought before, you should definitely have this thought on your drive to the guest house.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm kind of like,
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: Wait a minute, what am I doing here?
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, wait a minute, what are you doing?
- 17:09[SPEAKER_01]: What are we doing here, you know?
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: So then we see Chalki's on the beach in a fedora.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_01]: This is Chalki's fedora era, season two, Chalki.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: Fidora, well, for the hat.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: He else like wears it like so like, yeah, ha ha ha.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: He wears it's like on top of you guys.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: So wish this was a video up.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: The only thing you're about to be eating.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: Chuck is on this beach and the floor are the bunch of random women who we call triplets, but I don't believe that there's a triplet.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_01]: On another part of the beach, the arena is alone and back in New York.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: Dan is freaking hot and heavy, not so lonely boy anymore, which again, thinking about Dan writing these gossip girl updates about himself.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's like gossip girls heard about Serena and Nate, not sure, and then writes, and apparently lonely boys and so lonely anymore, Dan, you're dying for Serena to read that.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: You're like writing that and you think your pen is on fire.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what a really, I just can't.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: There are a lot of gossip girl updates that I'm like, hey, Dan.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: little too big for a breaches.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: I could be succinct, but I choose to be eloquent.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: That was kind of a fire line.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, he's quoting her big sis.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's quoting her sis on TikTok, not even a thousand views in the video, which is crazy, because it's kind of a, make drop or freaking shot over him.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_01]: Make drop.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: I am muspy because also my Ray and Molly uptown girls edit, it's not even at five K views yet, but it is almost there, which is better.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: And people are like hurt, which is what I wanted.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: People are like, oh, no, hungry, and I'm like, I bet.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, I kind of nailed it.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: Never made one of those before.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: No, it was great.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: So Nate is making out with this fucking horror in the back of the book.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: Jan has.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: What did I say?
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: Nate, don't come, come, come, come, come, stand wishes.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: Dan is making out with this fucking horror when she pulls away Jackie Molina.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: Are you a miss to this when she was doing her freaking internet search on you?
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't notice any recent trips to NYC on your Facebook Jack.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's what happens when there's a portal.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_01]: I guess so.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: She, and also like, let's think of a timeline so this was filmed, but this is like 2009.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: Pretty little iris from Miras, she doesn't mind.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_01]: Mm hmm.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_01]: So one year later, because that's the season two storyline, right?
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: But Jackie, or the season one.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's like, and maybe end to later season two.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: So that's like probably two thousand ten.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: So you mean to tell me one year ago, you're acting like this, and then you show up like in a blazer and rosewood?
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think you're really that heartbroken over Z.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: You're sticking your tongue down Dan Humphrey.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like it wasy.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, I'm also, again, we're not condoning the, I always want to say major to minor relationships.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like adult to minor relationships.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: But it is like, okay, girl, you're being a bit judgmental for someone who is exactly the same thing.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like us completely fat, like this is literally a high school or chronically in this episode, but we have determined that it isn't adult.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, Jackie.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she has a school in the episode.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think she must be.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think she's maybe college.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's maybe the vibe I'm getting.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: I just feel like I don't know, Adeless, I don't know.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: Adeless?
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: Adeless, I don't know.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: She's just a New Yorker.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: and fierce her life.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but she's not that scary.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: She's not scared of jail, obviously.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: She's making out of the freaking money.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: You need me, me, me, me, me, me.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: So Dan is making out with her.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the reading for- In a bookstore.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: Jeremiah Harris, who Dan is working for for the summer.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she's entertaining for him, which is apparently a really big deal.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: Jackie Molina writes her number on Dan's hand and walks away.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: And like, hey, Dan, Dan and Jenny, if you guys were so down on your freaking lock, you wouldn't have these two internships this summer.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: No, and you want to be acting like this at-set internship.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't know Dan literally is too big for his bridges.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: Making out with someone while you're on the clock?
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: You're, and you're not like hitting away, and also we're about to find out you're supposed to meet somebody else here.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: What if she walked up?
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: You are playing with fire, my guy.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: You're playing with your fire.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he hopes he gets burned.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, Dan, stop rubbing roll.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: How about that?
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: And we end the episode with him in a bonfire.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's poetic, it's poetic, I would say.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_01]: So we find out, as Harris, I'm just going to call him Harris, because I didn't even catch his first name, but Phoebe did.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: Harris comes up and he's like, where is the story?
- 21:55[SPEAKER_01]: You've been interning for me all summer.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: The whole deal is your supposed to write me a story and people are looking forward to it.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: When we see this story later on in the episode, he has not even freaking started it.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's giving SpongeBob when he can't write the paper and it's just the it's it's giving that.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, oh, it's basically done and Harris is like, okay, well, like I've been putting my neck out for you.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: I've been recommending you so like the pressure's really on.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: And when he walks away, another freaking
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: Betty crawls out of the woodwork it's supposed to me down here and he's like let's get her and check Kisses are on the cheek and then gossip girl boss comes out and it says Lonely boy how about playboy?
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like hey, Dan Ouch Dan might as well be like filming himself and like like this and like posting it and being like Can you say playboy like I just like I know you're writing these?
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: lonely board you point more like pillow lips More like the kissing band-up.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I really win lion-like, and I've always been like it's lion-like lion-like, which by the way Some crazy stuff Lauren lion-like had said Alex Cooper your days are numbered and I'm like what's your name again?
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm like holy shit Anyway, I also Alex Earl like
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, come on.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: Where is it?
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have five minutes?
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I am all in if it is like a variety expose.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_01]: I am like, okay, it took a little while.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_01]: Something tells me it should be done by now.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like the variety marketing team needs a revamp if true.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: And it's also like, why are they not like teasing it if it's coming?
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm wondering if she's going to like expose it on their new reality show, but I'm like, we're going to not care by then.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: We're at Eleanor Waldorf's shop, Jenny's working here, and we don't find out her name to like a lot later, but this woman who's running the show her name is Laurel.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: Well, didn't we meet her before?
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, did we?
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, I think we did, but just briefly.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like shocked by how fast Jenny works, and Jenny's like, okay, well, can I show you something else?
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: I've been working on it, and Laurel's like, no.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: No, she's like, well, I know the biggest event on everybody's calendar this year for this calendar year is the vitamin water white party and like not not a vitamin water white party when famously vitamin water is not clear.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: These lips are black.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's so cute.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, are those stalks lips black?
- 24:34[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really look at that many dogs lips.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: But I do look at Chuck's all the time when they're black.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: Black lips.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: What about dromos?
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: I can't really see his lips.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_01]: They're always puckered at the red lipstick.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: and Rouge.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's a lip stain mama.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's a lip stain.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have to we apply so much because I do so much to mooching.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's just in case.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, Jenny is holds up anyway.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: She's like okay I didn't hear you say now.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: Hold up a dress that she's made in the white party and the boss is like the boss.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: That is massive.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, there's no room in the shop for that.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_01]: We're all drowning in fabric.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: She literally is like who could wear that?
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: Who could wear that an elephant at the fucking sarcasm?
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: Ornament Bailey doesn't entombe.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, Jenny, this is where you you read position for this conversation was gonna go You don't say, oh, it's not for me.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: I would literally be I would be drowning in this literally.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's for you It's for you.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think no, I took your I looked at your measurements and I made this exactly for you And if you think it looks big I
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to tell you, Laurel, it's so funny and Jenny's like, yeah, it's actually it's I made it for you, which is a little bold.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: Don't just make her address.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: Especially if you're making it four sizes too big.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_01]: And Laurel goes, if I'm gonna wear a custom anything, it's gonna matter.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: And then she gives Jenny a massive tub of buttons to sort, which is Loki giving the punishment of organizing mom's wrapping closet.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know?
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: And so... Also like, what is the significance of a white party?
- 26:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like, why is this such a big thing we see all the time?
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like Beverly Hills?
- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't...
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: What's the origin of a white party?
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but I hope it's not dirty.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, I hope it's not I didn't think about that Wait, I think about that.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm just me.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_01]: I go.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's kind of in the news for his white parties for the last like three years Their fame is like quite eventful.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, I'm just a little bit like wondering about that scratching my head
- 26:32[SPEAKER_01]: So Jan and Jenny are at the loft.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's time for dinner.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, Jenny.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm about to push you out the freaking virus gate window.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: When she's like, it's too hot for Indian food.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: How about popsicles?
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, really?
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: If I'm Dan, I go, girl, I hate you.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: If I'm Dan, I'm like, okay, pick me, Jen.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: Little, little, pick me, home free.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: Little, pick me, Jenny, home free.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: And then I take her head and I twist it full three, 360 degrees.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: And then I throw out the virus gate.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, hoping to swim.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: Hope you can swim.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: Hope you can swim.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: And what?
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: the Brooklyn water the river the Hudson usually that's right out the window baby i don't know like i don't i haven't been there to his apartment right maybe it's right on the water maybe she just it that's part of it she has to go swimming
- 27:20[SPEAKER_01]: Phoebe shut up and tell the S and ever heard of it.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's close.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's been your disbelief ever heard of it Anyway, I'm just trying to be funny and Phoebe's like I'm actually poking holes in that I'm poking holes in that she can't swim in it.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: She can't swim
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: So apparently so I'm confused has Mama Humphrey been like staying with them all summer while roof is on tour.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: She and her bow have took us to South Pacific, which one of my little audition songs when I was young was honey bun from South Pacific.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then I was like looking at the lyrics the other day because I was going to give it to her kid and I was like, not appropriate.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's about like she's singing about.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: I see her because her lips are pips.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: I call her hips twirly and whirly.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: She's my baby, I'm her pap.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm her booby, she's my trap.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: I am caught and I don't want to run because I'm having so much fun with Honeybun.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really understand that.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: I was like 12, singing that song.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen South Pacific and now I won't.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: But that's where Mama Humphus and Jenny's like, well, are you going to let me read your story?
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: Cause I still don't know why you went and asked broke up and it's kind of ruining my vibe for summer.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, yeah, when I'm done and then we see that, but there is one thing on the word doc and it's just a date and it's not like the date of today.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's May 19th.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: It was definitely a date that he broke up with Serena.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's my guess.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, is it the date that they serve if that makes sense?
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then Chuck is looking to just come over in the mirror.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_01]: Chuck has a worse hair of all time.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_01]: No wonder they keep putting him in a hat.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: Is that yes?
- 29:00[SPEAKER_01]: And he's getting ready to go somewhere and serene comes in and he's like, where are you going?
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: Are those flowers on the bed for someone?
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: Who you might have heard was coming home?
- 29:08[SPEAKER_01]: Who literally wants nothing you should do with you?
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing to do with you.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, say the hell away from her.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: See, to hell away from B, and then he says no, these are for the top list triplets going to see them.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: Disgusting.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and Chuck's again, I'm just like not going to take relationship advice from you because you're in a fake relationship, and I'm going to go get my bitch.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: And he turns walking out and Zerina says good luck on your suicide mission, which is exactly what I want someone to say if they're trying to come court me.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: Offer wronging me.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: Good luck on your suicide mission.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: So true.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the scene is epic.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_01]: So Chuck is waiting for Blair.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: Who is on a journey with the fuck as a journey?
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: I assume it is a great hum.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it looks like.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: That is so not Blair.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's not Blair, girl.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: Blink twice.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's the only way to get to the Hamptons.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's not because we've watched some of our house.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe back in the day.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: Escalade.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: They're driving.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: No, they're in the woodest car I would drive the Kia.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: Get a new car.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: No, I think the telly ride is a sharp looking car.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't like know that much about cars and I also don't care.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: I dated the guy who was really into cars for someone who was dropping a Volkswagen.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, um, like, don't just like be a car guy if like, like, there's no issue to annoying.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: And that's how I get to ride in the cars that you talk about.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like, I don't really get it.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: And he was like obsessed with it.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so he's waiting for Blair and she gets off of the Jitney and gives him like this nasty look.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: And we get a gossip girl voice over.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: Samantha's a great thing to come home for, but an even better thing to come home with at which point tall blonde and handsome man gets off the Jitney kisses Blair on the freaking lips.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: And then
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, also like she's not being a bitch, and then she gives Chuck an eat shit look and Chuck's like, okay, I guess this is a suicide mission.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: And then the next day Blair and Serena are sitting out in the sun and they're talking about their summers and Blair is like,
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: you freaking prude.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_01]: You mean you got no lips to summer?
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: No lips, no pregnancy scares.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: Who are you?
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: What if you don't with my best for an ass?
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's a player saying to Serena.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: And Serena's like, well, like, a hot lifeguard asked me all, but I said, no, and where goes, are you crazy?
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: A hot lifeguard is like, Kleenex.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: Use once and for a way.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: You couldn't ask for a better rebound, but Serena misses Dan and Blair, like me, has no time for that.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what's there to miss?
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's not missing you, he doesn't have time.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't have time for you, miss.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_01]: You're seeing a red.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's, you see red when you're mad or age-word.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: So Dan is seeing red.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: He is Sally Carson in heat.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_01]: He is a little bar rat.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: Sally Carson.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, he's like Carson.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you posted.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, take talk.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: No, what is that?
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was crazy.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_01]: I saw she posted a carousel of photos of her crying.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_01]: that we're all like different hair colors and like these are obviously like deep cuts and she's like just wanted to show you that like it's not all like happy out here and it's like girl we know what is it with like her tailoring people like stop posting crying sell it's it's so weird to me post on your clothes one on your clothes friend story and like make fun of yourself do not post them when you're a public figure do not post them on your grid a carousel of you crying through the years it's a video of her dancing on a table
- 32:35[SPEAKER_01]: And she said, why would I go to AA?
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not an anonymous alcoholic.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually well known.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that seems massively insensitive.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: I see this crying picture for girl.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, scroll.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: They're like six.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like, do.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_01]: And they're all different hair colors.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: Since the close friend story, like, I'm saying, like, if you must, but this is not the place.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's she's like, and just saying, like, mental health matters.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like it.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: Okay girl.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like I don't care.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: You're up you're the most obsessed with being famous person.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: I've ever seen in my life Who 100 versus did you see that there was a clip of Austin yelling at a different girl while they're filming southern charm?
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: No, yeah, it doesn't look like Sally or anybody that we've really seen before but they're out like a party and he's like they're having like a heated conversation.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: Can't wait.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so Chuck walks by then on the phone while Blair and Serena are chatting and Blair immediately starts talking about her man James and like how Serena is.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, Serena, I know you did this on purpose.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: Blair's like, and he gave me this amazing Bulgarian choker and Blair's, and Serena's like, um, your dad's gave you that.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_01]: Serena, what's wrong with you?
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: No, literally.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then Blair is like, oh, man, I forgot that, I guess.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: S, like, how dare you.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then Chuck's like, you're lying.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: Your eyes are doing that thing where they don't match your mouth.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_01]: And Blair goes, I was in a way that robots got jealous.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_01]: Did they update your software while I was away?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: You like, I love, like Blair.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: You would be in for every game's surprise in the year 2026.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: Robots do Lionel, and they get jealous.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_01]: So Chuck's like listen, I know you're doing you're trying to hurt me like I hurt you and Blair is like how dare you assume for one freaking second that you hurt me you didn't hurt me And then she's like I you might have humiliated me.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, little but I rallied and we finally get a name for the guy that accompanied Blair on the plane And Chuck calls him boring Ben and we find out that Chuck immediately had him fired
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: which is so funny and he introduced Blair to this guy James that she's talking about and she's going to bring James to dinner tonight to meet everybody.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: Jenny's in the home with Rufus.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_01]: He's still on Tories in Vermont where I forgot Vanessa is like from Vermont and so she and her parents are at the show last night and he okay Rufus like you are messy as fuck.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: why are you so eager to get your son laid it's weird it's really weird he's like I didn't know she was here was kind of hoping that she helped Dan get over Serena the summer if you know him saying what and then he's like yeah well Dan doesn't need any help when that apartment he's been slotting it up look at Spencer slotting it up
- 35:16[SPEAKER_01]: That was my fee, he was one of my favorite lines ever, or an hilarious, but I also love when Arya goes to bed and Spencer is like, what's wrong with she is nothing.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: Mom's my mom being a slut.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: I was a slut, so she's again, I think Vanessa noticed that Dan was slotting it up like Spencer and she was outie.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's like honestly, I'm worried about Dan and blah, blah, blah, roof is like suggests that she wears her dress to the white party.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, okay, I'm not, I'm just going to go.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: And last year, they turned away Jack Johnson and her business sounds like a party with taste.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, and Jack Johnson was like the hottest thing.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: Mom was obsessed.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: Then he's like, well, why don't you try Eric like he could probably be your end to go to the party and she's like, well, things are weird with us.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I really can't ask.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I just feel like I wasted my whole summer and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: what does that mean.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think he was like, you're a kid.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm not be serving you.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like, but I'm like, I would have been out today.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: It was a little bit like relaxed.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's also like, is the bar even open.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like a restaurant also.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I know.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's also like, anyway, Jeremiah says he's with me.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: Calm down.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: Dan's like, I just need one more day from my story and like, hey, Dan, you've read an entire story, like one more day is not going to cut it.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: You've written nothing.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like you've a five paragraph essay do it five in the morning.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's a whole last story.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, I wouldn't even ask for one more day because you're still not going to do it.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's just like, I just have been suffering from Raiders blocking the axiques the first person who's ever experienced this.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, have you never heard of Ernest Hemingway?
- 37:00[SPEAKER_01]: You never heard of him?
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's like, okay, I did.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: And if you, maybe that's why he said not today, kid.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe, maybe, maybe.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_01]: Because I found out that you haven't even been writing drunk.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, why would I, why would I serve you?
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a waste artist.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: You told me that if I gave you under a, if it served you under age, you'd write the next credit American novel.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_01]: Where is it?
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: Where is it?
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: I've got a spot on my shelf for it.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: But good reads is a, I don't see any down over here.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: But also, Dan, hey, take a page out of Ernest Hemiway's book.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: You can just write a short story.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: You could just write, it also doesn't have to be about Serena.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_01]: Baby shoes for sale never worn.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's a whole story.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: A sad story never heard.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: I have heard.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: Dan also, I feel like he's like, I have to figure out what happened with me in Serena.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then I can write this story.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, why don't you just write a different story?
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: And figure that out later, because it seems like that's kind of holding you up.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't you write about all your sexual escapades of summer?
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: You're having no trouble writing gossip girl blasts about yourself.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: My gives you right a fucking short story.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: That is true.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you have put your word count.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: Your gwam is not suffering.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: It just isn't there.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: So here's like, well, you know what?
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: You let me down.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not writing you letter recommendation and internship over.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: In the Hampton's, Eric is taking a walk on the beach and Jenny calls him.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: And he is like, oh, let me freaking guess you won something.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you're a little, you're a little late or three months late if you're trying to apologize and she's like, I'm not I'm literally not going to say I'm sorry and she doesn't she literally doesn't she's like, I know I was a raging bitch and I've been really sad about it all summer And I wrote, I didn't hear an apology though if I'm Eric I'm like, and I'm waiting for that And also when he says you want something she's like, yeah, you're right
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: And Eric, this is so sad.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: He goes, well, I don't have a lot of friends, so I will take you back.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: Eric, I will be your friend.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: Eric, what about Chuck?
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: Chuck, and remember that Chuck, Chuck, bo-buck, banana fan of faux-fuck.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know how many entries of thoughts I had about that in elementary school?
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: Because Nana always used to be like, she always used to do that to like the kids that she was watching.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, Phoebe, Phoebe, bo-be-be, banana fan of faux Phoebe.
- 39:14[UNKNOWN]: Uh-oh.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: kind of same sound.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_01]: But then I quickly realize you can't do it the name Chuck, because you will say the F-bomb.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: You will.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: You will.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_01]: The name of the F-bomb.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, I'm gonna get in so much trouble when I say that, that's cool.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_01]: When?
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's called an intrusive thought.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so Serena is about to go on a date with the lifeguard and what is she wearing?
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even think I talked to her.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_01]: She's wearing a purple satin leopard print dress.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's summer.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's summer.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's like a halter dress, but it's like lavender and dark purple leopard print satin.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's just weird vibes.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: And then we go, this is just like a quick scene there.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then we go to Nate in the moment, hooking up again.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, so read it down for this to be year-round.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: So read it as, hey, if anybody asks where I am, I would think.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: And with my boyfriend, my committed boyfriend.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: And so then we go to dinner.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I am like this dinner is kind of hilarious, because it's Chuck Blair James, C.C.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: Rhodes, and Eric.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: Missouri.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_01]: And Chuck is filling up all their glasses with ice tea.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Chuck, are you with a butler?
- 40:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's giving, though, he's like grandma.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: When he does, she's more, she's literally wounded by it, but it's just kind of like a little bit of a dick measuring contest, but James isn't really playing.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_01]: And Chuck is just like quizzing James, and by the way, his name's Patrick Houston, or Anne.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_01]: When I did have acting with him, one fateful summer, he was like, yeah, you guys might know me from some Celus shows, I know, just some stupid, and then I found I was a gossip girl and I was like, the disrespect.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: Well, so it's like, even if you think it's Celus, you know that the people here might be interested, like they probably watch that, just like the age range.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like also you're not the only person who's teaching at this program who is on gossip girl.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think Susie Meizner would think of that?
- 41:18[SPEAKER_01]: Dan's mom.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: Mom, I'm hungry.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's actually crazy.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: Two acting teachers in one place from gospel girl.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm connected to the Russian famous.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_01]: So Eric is like, Hey, how well do you know, Blair Waldorf is pretty boring for those of us who actually know Blair Waldorf?
- 41:36[SPEAKER_01]: I like that Eric is firmly in team Blair account.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_01]: Me too.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_01]: And C C goes not to mention transparent.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: And Chuck says, thank you, grandma, which deeply insults C.C.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: when Chuck says it.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_01]: And she's got a good read on Chuck.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: I would say.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: So he excuses himself when he notices that the heart pin from the sweater that Blair gave Nate.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_01]: She just gives the pen.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's all and now that he sees it on James's sweater.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and he gets up and leaves and then Blair gets up and follows him and says and he's like
- 42:16[SPEAKER_01]: Did you love him the way that you love Nate when you gave him that pen?
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, yeah, and her eyes are just welling up with tears.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_01]: And Chuck says, I'll say that's cool.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: And he walks away and she just cries.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then she goes back to the table, she's like, oh, give me that.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: And she rips her pen off of James's letter.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_01]: She's I must have gotten caught by mistake.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: And he says, I didn't feel anything.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_01]: And she says, neither did I.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_01]: And then Nate is done freaking post-coidal post-coidal as fuck with this woman and then she's like a beautiful woman.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_01]: She's like just mature.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_01]: She's not even old.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like this liver spotted creep.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_01]: She says to Nate, okay, what'll it be under the bed or out the window?
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: Well, because the car pulls up and it's her husband.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: And so Nate chooses the window, jumps out the window.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: She throws her clothes out after him.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's still in his freaking boxer briefs.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and he's looking good.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_01]: And he runs across the street.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: What are the odds?
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: Runs directly in front of the car that's Serena and her hot life guard data in.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: And they almost hit him.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then Serena looks over and sees the woman grading her husband.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, but those pieces together now I know you're freaking seeing Nate and we're gonna have words later.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah And so the next day Blair Tells Marina that she doesn't even like James first line of the scene damn that mother chuck her That doesn't strike me as a player.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't and I can even kind of see the way that late and me She's saying it like and I just have to say this for the sound bite because like it is like
- 43:56[SPEAKER_01]: on paper, iconic line, but it's just not.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't really get you to be the first line of the scene.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like if he did something, and then she was like, damn, that motherfucker, that would like feel a little bit more organic to me, but it'd be the first line of the scene, I don't know.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, so as Phoebe said, Blair is like, I don't even like him, but Chuck cannot know that, and he cannot know that everyone in my summer and he absolutely did.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, keep getting this like back and forth between Blair and Serena walking down the street and Chuck and Nate walking down the street and again, Chuck is in a goddamn fedora and flip flops.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's the triple F and that's jail time triple F don't flip flop triple F felony quadruple F absolutely absolutely firing squad.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm going to point up like that is not what it is going to play.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: I think it would just be quintuple a quintuple it would be like a musical note.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: So Chuck is like, I'm not going to go to the white party.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, what?
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: Cute girls in my dresses?
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: And Jack says, unless there's a sprinkler, I don't care.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, buddy.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay, buddy.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: A big game, but we all know your love, Lauren.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: We know it, your love, Laura Michaels, admit it.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_01]: This is what you catch.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_01]: Chucks like, well, I'm jealous.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't want to see Blair in her call boy.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to see it.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_01]: And then we go back to Blair talking about how fucking boring James is.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, but Chuck's gone now.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think I guess when Chuck told her I'll see you at school.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: She assumed that he left.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: And when back to the city, she's like, now I can dump James.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: I can go to the white party's stack.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_01]: Everything is great.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_01]: Serena's date sucked.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then they all run into each other.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God, they all run into each other.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: Chuck says, good morning, Blair, and she says, it was.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_01]: And oh, the lies begin to unravel.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: But not for who you think, not for Blair Waldorf, Chuck's like, how's Princeton?
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: And Blair's like, you mean Georgetown?
- 46:00[SPEAKER_01]: Because he's referencing James.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: And Chuck's like, no girl.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: He goes to Princeton.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, it's Georgetown all the way.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_01]: And they fully argue about it.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: And Chuck's like, I will not be bested.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_01]: And he calls Eric and goes, do some research, Junior.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm in the mood to be right.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_00]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: Her search is on the right.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, see we're still, I still have an wringled you out of that pit of despair, it's your in.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and so then Nate and Serena are paired off and he tells Serena that the woman dumped him the night before.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, how are you getting this woman out of the nursing home every day?
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: Nate?
- 47:01[SPEAKER_01]: Nate?
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just like, I'm concerned.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm honestly concerned if she's a heart attack.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_01]: mid.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know how crazy things got when it was you and me.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you got some freaking game sheets.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just thanking Jean Angela.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Nate is definition of shy in the streets.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_01]: Secondly, she literally, he in is that brooding, stoner boy that ever girl romanticizes.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_01]: And the lesson here is you should only actually romanticize it if it is name archival.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: Otherwise, you will be disappointed.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: And you might even be disappointed if it's
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Dan's on the phone with Rufi, and he's bitching about his internship, and it's like, you have no right.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_01]: If I had this call with our parents, oh, let's roll play.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to be you or mom and dad?
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be me.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, go ahead.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I cannot believe I lost this freaking internship.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: You want?
- 47:56[SPEAKER_01]: You lost your internship, Phoebe?
- 48:00[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 48:00[SPEAKER_01]: What did you do?
- 48:02[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't do anything.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: Don't lie to me.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: I can hear you.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_01]: I know I hate liars.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_01]: What did you do?
- 48:08[SPEAKER_01]: He's locked off, huh?
- 48:10[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's drunk, he didn't show up at all.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_01]: Which one?
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: I, I just, it's taking me more time to write my story than he told me I could.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay, so you didn't plan well.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_01]: Where are you going out to the tab?
- 48:23[SPEAKER_01]: Too many nights in a row?
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: Playing darts?
- 48:26[SPEAKER_01]: Did you throw a dart into the middle of your brain by accident?
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: Because that's not how connells do things.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_01]: Connells doesn't say can't, can't, yes, yes.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, that's probably how it would start.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to tell you guys how it would end.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_01]: Because the truth is, I'm not even, get to see.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_01]: There is no happy ending when we just tell you that.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: So, Rupus is like, well, what's the story about?
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: And Dan says, the dissolution of a relationship from different worlds, and they couldn't write it because, well, I'm not a piece of my feelings.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, Dan, go to therapy.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like, not my problem, not Harris is problem.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: Your problem, your problem alone.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, I just don't think I want to realize that it was a huge mistake.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like it's like I'm hearing I'm hearing these words come out of your mouth now, and then I'm seeking your hands do something very different.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm seeing your hands down Jacque Molina's pain.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: And this is what I'm saying.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to have seen your mouth do other things at the white party to Serena, per se, oh my god.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_01]: I can't Dan actually is like the worst of the worst.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like you're a true villain.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: You're such a hypocrite.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_00]: You're such a hypocrite.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: You're such a hypocrite.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_01]: You
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: You literally like purposely made it.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: So let's say this was Serena's mom's final wedding.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's of course it isn't, but let's just say it was.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_01]: You just permanently marred that memory.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_01]: And Serena's had with like a massive heartbreak and also the kind of heartbreak that like Serena's probably never experienced before because she's never been with somebody that like,
- 49:50[SPEAKER_01]: literally worshiped her, put her on a pedestal as she was saying.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I bet she never thought she could lose him.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_01]: It should have always been him being scared of losing her.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so if I'm sorry now, I'm like, I'm absolutely gutted and like, I'm in intensive therapy.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I'm at the Austroff Center for sure.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_01]: So back at the Hampton's, Eric and Nate and Chuck are talking.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, they're actually playing Croquet.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, you're right.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: Because actually Eric's kind of good.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, have you ever played Croquet?
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: Did you know that I used to go to Croquet parties?
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: Charleston?
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'd a friend who lived on the marsh and he would have croquet parties and everyone had to wear white Okay, Heather.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't do that though.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't wear white Heather.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: Heather or Heather?
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry Heather
- 50:36[SPEAKER_01]: Heather's musical.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_01]: And how does musical?
- 50:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_01]: Excuse me.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: Heather.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_01]: Heather.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but so Eric couldn't find any record of James at any college in the United States.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my God.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't go to Georgetown.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't go to Princeton.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't go.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: And Chuck is like.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_01]: He's a regular Mr. Ripley and he has a line if you want on trade of the upper class There's no easier mark than a wronged woman and I'm like well, that's bold of you to assume that Blair was portraying herself Presenting as a wrong woman.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_01]: How she definitely wasn't so then checks like hang on a second P.I.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_01]: He is a P.I.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_01]: on speed dial, of course or you tend to look into James
- 51:18[SPEAKER_01]: And then Blair is somewhere else and she is attempting attempt number one to break up with James.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: And then they're pikes through the park as she does.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_01]: She has a text from Chuck that he'll pee at the freaking white party after all.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: And the conversation starts with bars like I have to say something.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: And James is like, I do too.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_01]: And she'll be first.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then she gets the text and she's like, actually, never know what I was going to say.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to come to the white party with me tonight.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_01]: And he says yes, and then I'm like, okay, but now Blair, ask him what he was going to tell you.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's how that's our mom would be like, and did you ask him exactly?
- 51:51[SPEAKER_01]: Did you ask him?
- 51:52[SPEAKER_01]: Which hey, by the way, isn't a skill that everybody's taught?
- 51:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, it isn't.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_01]: But if you're ever nervous about going on a day, mom was always like, just ask the person a million questions about, especially if it's a guy, because boys love to talk about herself.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: There's like a queen Elizabeth quote that was like the way to be the most
- 52:13[SPEAKER_01]: She's like set deck next to like, I don't know, I can be making up this version of the story, but my brain She sat down next like Winston Churchill and like, like he didn't learn a single thing about her, like she just asked questions And everybody wanted to, I can't remember how the story goes But anyway, that is a quote about her, like be the most interested Because it's also like, yeah, keep your cards close to your chest and just be an information collector
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's how I've been rebranding myself these days, by the way.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: I used to be like, once again, information, I'm like, I want to go tell everybody, and I'm still a little bit like that.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_01]: But now, and this is called Emotional Regulation, and this is called Years of Therapy, I'm a little bit better at holding onto the information, taking a second with it, sitting with it, and deciding the best course of action, rather than immediately flying off the handle, which was historically in my go-choo, right?
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you saw it in action in Charleston.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I didn't do what I almost did.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_01]: And instead, I played my cards right.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_01]: And that's just I think the better, like, one time this girl was like, line in my face.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: And she was lying about my dog.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_01]: She said that my dog barks all the time over gone, and that it would come to the back door and that she would go to the back door and like comfort it.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, well, that's impossible because my dog's in a metal crate with a blanket over it.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_01]: Every time I leave the house, so maybe he's barking, but he's not coming to the back door and you're not comforting him.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_01]: Your dog on the other hand doesn't shut the fuck up, and I know that for a fact.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_01]: And so you're lying and I literally just looked at her and I was like, and I didn't in that moment say to her, my dog's in crates.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_01]: So that's not possible.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_01]: But I just was like, no, I understand you a little bit better.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm building my case.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm building a re-go case.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_01]: This is what I'm doing.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_01]: And you'll know what it's time for you to drop.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_01]: Did you ever drop that?
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: Um, no, honestly, she wasn't really worth it.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_01]: But she was the worst.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_01]: She's honestly the fucking worst.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, one time she texted me, nevermind.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so Nate and Serena are walking together.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, I'm really sorry about the whole thing with Catherine, by the way, the woman's name is Catherine.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, but I really want to go to the white party tonight because I want to see her and her husband together.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_01]: And are they like hosting the party?
- 54:25[SPEAKER_01]: Well Serena's like Nate, what the fuck?
- 54:27[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't want to go to this party.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought, like, why do we still, why don't we comment for you?
- 54:31[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for your effort.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, right.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_01]: Told CC.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_01]: They were going to go together.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_01]: So Syrians, like, I just think this is dumb and honestly maybe dangerous.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, why is where it's coming from you, Syrian event or what's in, but it is dangerous because this woman is an adult.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, great.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: And what's happening is all of this is going now.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_01]: a little Mr. Lonely Boy is exciting to get on the freaking Jasper up to Jasper.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't remember what it was called, so I thought I thought Jasper was kind of funny.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: Jasper is funny.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_01]: Especially when you meant to say Jitney.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_01]: No, I didn't mean to.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't mean to say Jitney.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_01]: He said,
- 55:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I didn't remember it was cold, so I, but I knew it was her.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_01]: The J and I thought J asked for was funny.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_01]: You know, okay.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's the last funny now.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_01]: They explained it.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_01]: Just like comedy Samford's self.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good lesson for you.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_01]: And this is a comedy class.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: It says a musical fine.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'll go.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'll go to the party with you.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: So Dan gets off the bus and he immediately gets into a cabin.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know what he says?
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: 14 sandpaper lane.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, our neighbor or a literal neighbor.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: We could have watched the scene from our window in another life and another life That used to be like next to the house that we used to rent on the Isle of Poms and Charleston Sam Piper Lane and hey, don't be creeps.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's not the house anymore Yeah, hey stalkers stay out of there because time for the white party sponsored by vitamin water Of course and it just kind of feels to me like people shouldn't be in the pool
- 55:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you don't really feel like it's not like a pool party.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_01]: What's like Chuck sees that and he's like, oh, wait, I should have been coming all along.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yeah, but also like C.C.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: is about to talk about how strict the dress code is for this party and I'm like, it can't be that strict, or people literally naked in the pool.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_01]: So Jenny and Eric walk in together, um, even though she's on probation with her friendship, which I love, and Laurel sees Jenny and Jenny has some balls.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_01]: She literally gives Laurel the up and down look and walks right past her.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_01]: Jenny, we got a stop.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: Jenny, Jenny, you haven't gone bad yet.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: You got to play a cool one.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you got to.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_01]: And so then another part of the party, Serena and Nate walk past Catherine and her husband.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: And the conference break in Pesh.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_01]: She like excuses herself in the conversation.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: She's in touches, Nate's arm and says, are you trying to ruin my freaky marriage?
- 56:43[SPEAKER_01]: I can hate girl chill.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 56:59[SPEAKER_01]: He goes up at the bar, he's like, is this party cash?
- 57:03[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm also like, you can't drink here.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a violent water.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_01]: I know I am like, you're going to get torn on the violent water.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_01]: I freaking sugar high.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_01]: She was like, wait, I thought I told you.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not drinking right now.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I thought this would suffice.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_01]: I say.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: So CC Rose is getting ready for the white party.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a knock on her door and what to her wondering eyes is a peer-but-dand-hump.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_01]: She basically screams.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_01]: She's literally she's a cat rat.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, sorry.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't You're the math.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't Brooklyn rat.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't your boss tell you do not knock on my door.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_01]: Do not knock on my door.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_01]: Just get to work in Garden.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, oh, Dan Humphrey.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_01]: Well, since you're here, you can help me put my necklace on.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_01]: And he goes, sure.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: And then he goes, yeah, if you really want me to.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_01]: Were you waiting for her to say just kidding?
- 57:49[SPEAKER_01]: Are you scared?
- 57:49[SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna, I hope you sound like as your scared.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna break it.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like,
- 57:53[SPEAKER_01]: Can you please watch your hands?
- 57:54[SPEAKER_00]: Watch your hands.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_01]: Wait a minute.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_01]: At least your hands.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to make sure there weren't any calluses on the milk.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like you're freaking rock star father.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's not all those calluses from the guitar strings, but I see you've never worked it in your life.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I see your warm as a bismally slow as well.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_01]: And you can tell that someone's warm as by checking out their hands.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's a skin batter and thing.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't have the.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_01]: Keyboard and dent it into your fingers.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_01]: Phoebe, play along for once, if he was looking at me like, okay, we just keep talking.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, Dan's like, you seem different.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_01]: Sort of like, less of a bitch.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, well, certain things are in her mission.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_01]: My attitude being one of them.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, wait, did she have cancer or not?
- 58:39[SPEAKER_01]: I can't tell.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_01]: Are you still playing up that you did have cancer, but you didn't.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_01]: Or did you have cancer?
- 58:46[SPEAKER_01]: And it just wasn't.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_00]: Finchy.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_01]: Finchy.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_01]: And Finchy, by the way.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_01]: You should be in jail.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_01]: The fact that Finn she didn't go to jail and do one day of hard time and at least community service nothing.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_01]: No penance.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_01]: She needs to be in a rehabilitation.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_01]: She's probably so excited about the fucking documentary.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_01]: I doubt she's embarrassed at all.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_01]: She's probably like great.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_01]: Let's let's turn into a couch or she's like, wow, they still freaking don't believe me.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they, I'm a victim.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a survivor in my own.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a survivor of my own mind.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_01]: Eventually, I'll give you that.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_01]: And that is true.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_01]: Some against all odds you are here you are.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_01]: Dan is like, okay, well, you know, glad that you got that you're doing better, and she's like, you know, when you go through something like that, it changes you and makes you see things differently, like you guys, and I just feel like you're still in Serena's heart, it's like, hey, see, stay out of it.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_01]: Say the hell out of this, please God and see she's like, you know, what I have a great idea Why don't you take me to the white party and let me go dress you up?
- 59:55[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, this is just a bad freak and idea So James and Blair are walking through the party and he's like listen, bleh I really like you my feelings for you are getting deeper and he's about to say something horrible that he did He's like I did something so bad and she's
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_01]: I have never ever been happier.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, which by the way, she is on today on YouTube.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_01]: She is literally, she's literally the Cassie after snoring a line of coke off of someone's stomach.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, she's my son.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_01]: The thing about Cassie is, unfortunately, it's some of Cindy Sweeney's best work.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_01]: I know, but I also am like, I think it is because it's making me so cringe out, but it's like, but also I do not need to see his Sydney's, we need his boobs, do the
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't need to see it.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_01]: I know that was a little much for sure, but I've actually kind of enjoyed this season.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_01]: I love to, but I and I am stressed, so stressed, so stressed, so stressed, and I think like what I want to say to you, Rue is like, why are you acting like that?
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_01]: Rue, play it cool for one second.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_01]: They were actually just one second of your life.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_01]: We need to get back to whatever meds you were on when you were, when you were bobbing your head up and down on that bicycle.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you mean the drugs?
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you mean when she was an active addiction fee?
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's not what I mean.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_01]: Wasn't she clean when she did that?
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_01]: Don't think she's ever been clean that we've seen right right.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_01]: No, thanks So I am also like here's what what's so impressive about Zendaya is that fully This is a different person.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_01]: This is not Zendaya I like the side by side of Zendaya and the drama when she's in like for my Andre hoarding the rifle and then and then And then we've been it
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like, no, I'm totally with you.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_01]: I keep being like, oh my god, that's Sunday.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_01]: But also I do think for Cassie and or Sydney, Swenie and Zendaya are peak examples of why you shouldn't fuck with your face.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_01]: That scene where she's like, and what does that have to do with me?
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_01]: Is the contrast between her and the girl who's acting against her?
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_01]: One thing I will say is that girl.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_01]: It works for the part.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think it's, it is like,
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Cindy Sweet, that line delivery would have been as viral if she had didn't move.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_01]: I totally agree.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_01]: But one thing I am thinking about with Cindy Sweet is she said she wants to age gracefully, she doesn't want to get any work done, which is fine.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_01]: But what is going to happen to you when you can't play these roles anymore?
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_01]: Because no one wants to see you play the other ones.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_01]: Quite frankly, no one came to your wrestling movie or whatever your boxing moves.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_01]: She's going to have to do what Pamela Anderson is like, you're maga, you're the worst.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_01]: So no one wants to really support, we're supporting you because it's you for you.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_01]: That's why we're watching it.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's not for you.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm just like, what happens when you don't have like, you can be the sex-pot character and be an amazing actress, but like, that's your kind of role.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_01]: And unfortunately, you're cementing yourself as that with this show.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like, so I saw something that was like, no self, I mean, no offense, no self-respecting actresses doing all these shots and thinking that their career isn't going to change.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_01]: some of these shots are crazy, but it is also such interesting commentary on like what's like I do and I'm no I don't like Bonnie blue.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't ever want to give Sam Levinson too much credit but I do think when you see the reactions on Twitter to some of the more like ronshi stuff I'm like but you guys like
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_01]: Do you not understand that he's like holding up a mirror to you like exactly the way you're responding people would be canceled for having these takes about real people yes, and like also People were pretty up and I mean, I'm all for more sugar warnings people were pretty upset about the graphicness of some of the scenes within this over slipper, but a lot of other people were like
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but that's what's happening.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, 100%, 100%.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_01]: And like, it's an HBO show.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_01]: People are like, yeah, I can't believe this is our only, this is a cable show.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, it's not, it's HBO's always been doing this.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is their whole thing.
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a reason it's on here.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_01]: And as much as I think he's an idiot and gross and a little inverted, I do think there are lessons that because this show was so popular,
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_01]: the general and I'm not saying me currently like that big of genius is that like we're washing it and we get it in a way that other people don't but I'm like when the general population is watching it show like this it makes the conversation online so insufferable so like yeah you guys aren't seeing like he's making a broader point yes he's not just depicting all of this because he wants to fucking watch yes and like that is just so you
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_01]: that is kind of a point of theater is that like it is meant to hold a mirror to society and if you see something you don't like hey that's on purpose and you probably really needed to see it and we hope that it makes you think a little bit differently and if you see things that you're like like maybe you're already on that side of things and you don't see it you know whatever that's fine but most likely you're gonna see something or something short or like again like maybe you had no idea
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you're not seeing anything about yourself in this and that's great, but maybe you're learning something new which is that this shit is happening Sex trafficking is happening like this like this stuff is happening It's a corner of the world that you have no exposure to but it's important that you are aware because it also helps you empathize of people who get trapped in these situations which is one of my things
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_01]: When I also feel like a lot of times in like plays, stories like this are explored a lot more because but they're so less widely distributed, the people don't get as mad or they don't get up and write.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_01]: But a lot of theater tells a lot of and it has more ability to tell stories like this because not as many people are going to see it and the people who are going to see it are likely tuned in to like art and they they want that.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_01]: But one thing I was thinking like as I was watching Rue Spoiler, sorry, Rue with the D.E.A.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_01]: agents.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_01]: As I was just like, I felt for her a lot in a moment and I just was like, can you just tell them how you ended up here though?
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like can you just tell them that like you were drug addict and you had all these drugs and your mom fucking flush them all and now like you have this debt and it's like you would not be doing this if you didn't like that's the story.
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, I don't know if they care.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that changes anything.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_01]: But I just kept being like, tell them like, tell them how you ended up here like you're not.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like no one's really there by choice.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_01]: Even the people who stopped, they were brought into this.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_01]: They probably know nothing else.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_01]: There was no choice.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_01]: It was like, this is your life and it's a system and it's awful.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_01]: I also saw a take that was like, people have really hated like see this season and especially the scene where like Sidney's, they're all there at the pool and they're doing the photo shoot.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_01]: Lexi like is the most judgmental.
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_01]: She's like you're filming herself like you're selling pictures of yourself.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_01]: You're talking about your drug out of like all the stuff and people were like mad at the same people that were
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_01]: that are not like in Lexington or the same people that are having those takes online about these people but then they also want to be the woke people right that are like well like they're not see anyway that people are unable to watch things with an understanding of nuance.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_01]: agree and it makes online discourse.
- 1:07:25[SPEAKER_01]: It does, but it's also fascinating.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_01]: And like it's, it's the point.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_01]: And it's honestly, if you were to ask Sam Levinson, I'm sure he would say success.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't care what the ratings are.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_01]: I just wish it could be like what I talk about this.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_01]: If Sam Levinson's morning and premiered to them.
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_01]: And then they go on and do their Twitter rant, not realizing that.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then we could be like, no, look, look,
- 1:07:52[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, Jenny is getting a vitamin water and this is so funny.
- 1:07:55[SPEAKER_01]: She goes up.
- 1:07:55[SPEAKER_01]: She's like kind of a vitamin water and they're like, yeah, what kind of and then Laurel walks up behind her.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_01]: She was a rescue Laurel's like make it to and she's like, how the fuck did you get in here?
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_01]: Because someone like you doesn't know anybody And if she works for you, she knows you and I already asked
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_01]: I already asked you're not on the list.
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm like a little bit more.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's a little weird to do this obsessed with the 60s.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_01]: It isn't like, why do you care if I were you?
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_01]: I just pretend I don't know her.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm in like on Monday at pretend I didn't see her there.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I just be like, whatever.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_01]: And now it would be the biggest insult you could give.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_01]: Little bit of a bunch of her.
- 1:08:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you're giving her all of the attention.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, like she does know, she knows you.
- 1:08:29[SPEAKER_01]: She knows you.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's how she's here.
- 1:08:31[SPEAKER_01]: But oh great, this is just out of Jenny's freaking wet dream.
- 1:08:34[SPEAKER_01]: Eric comes up and with Tinsley, Nate Murray, Mortimer, and I was like, and I thought the cameos couldn't get any more exciting, but here we are.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_01]: Tinsley must have needed some good present the time.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, I wanted to all about your dress, I want to know about your design career, maybe you couldn't make me something.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_01]: And Laurel's like, okay, didn't see that one coming.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wait, wait, wait, what?
- 1:09:00[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_01]: So Blair is talking to James.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, let's wrong.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_01]: And James is like, listen, I know you're using me, to whatever, like make Chuck jealous and honestly, you're no different than Chuck.
- 1:09:10[SPEAKER_01]: I bet you don't even like me at all.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_01]: You deserve each other.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_01]: Blair goes, no, not really.
- 1:09:16[SPEAKER_01]: You're kind of boring.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_01]: And anyways, am I?
- 1:09:19[SPEAKER_01]: Or are you too interested in yourself to get to know me?
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like probably both dude and Chuck is watching a whole thing and then when James walks away from Blair Chuck goes up to Blair and says you really know how to hurt people.
- 1:09:31[SPEAKER_01]: I admire you for it And Blair's like you made me do this and he's like we're the same don't fight it and she's like I have to because I don't want to resemble you at all and then
- 1:09:41[SPEAKER_01]: So Nate's at the party, drowning as far as in a freaking vitamin water, vitamin wall, down on the dumps, Catherine's like, why are you still here?
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_01]: And again, Catherine, he was invited, like these adults ignore the high schoolers here.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly, like, just having adult party pretend that they're not here.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_01]: We're telling her not here.
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_01]: And Serena's like, you know what?
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_01]: Let's freaking make her jealous.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_01]: Let's make her hate her fucking life.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_01]: And they do an insane makeout.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_01]: The makeout is honestly giving her money and Ron and Harry Potter in the work rec scene.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_01]: Or no, Hermione and Mary like there's like beast and it's like how it's like hey I bet you guys had some head box in there Like did you trip it to like it looks like you might have they're like no one kisses like this and then of course CC's watching everybody wants their grandma to watch them get lips
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody wants that every every girl's biggest dream And so CCC's like well, I didn't expect that and then when they pull apart on the other side of them Oh, it's lonely boy and I want to say to this Dan you have no right.
- 1:10:42[SPEAKER_01]: What does he say in classic?
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_01]: Of course of course.
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, whatever and Serena runs after him and it's like it's not what it looks like in his arena.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's fine if it is
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_01]: you aren't in a relationship.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_01]: He actually dumped your ass on a really positive for your family because he cheated on you cheated on you and you didn't cheat on him and you because you were so terrified that he didn't love you enough to look past because in the words of traumatic time in the words of his own father he's the most judgmental person on earth exactly so there so there's that and he goes oh my god same drama difference city
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he says is a green and things are always a fucking secret with you and he turns around and what do we have here But jogging malina in the other girl the other girl from the bookstore and they're standing there and they're holding hands I think they're holding hands and then their other hands that you have a martine glass with the vitamin water and it one is blue when it's red And they're like by the way We know you're too timing us and then they dump their drinks on his white outfit.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_01]: This is giving good luck Charlie when Charlie when Teddy is dating
- 1:11:41[SPEAKER_01]: Spencer, and because this happened in real life with the same actors.
- 1:11:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Bridget Menler was dating the actor who played Spencer in real life, and they became best friends with the girl who played the girl that Spencer took time on Teddy with, and then they dumped smoothies on Spencer's head, but then we find out that in real life, the three of them were best friends, Bridget Menler, and the actor were dating, and then he cheated on, and that's giving him a scare.
- 1:12:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy, but it's crazy that that's exactly what happened in the show.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_01]: Life, Emma, Tates are.
- 1:12:12[SPEAKER_01]: And then that's exactly what happened in real life.
- 1:12:14[SPEAKER_01]: Ideas and they're freaking out.
- 1:12:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that they're married now.
- 1:12:17[SPEAKER_01]: Which in the words of Sierra, they kind of have to be a better way.
- 1:12:20[SPEAKER_01]: They kind of have to be exactly.
- 1:12:21[SPEAKER_01]: Not see me like that's what happened from Ms. Petuglia, but Tuglia.
- 1:12:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's what Dave Porter and Keeps call her.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's hilarious.
- 1:12:27[SPEAKER_01]: Every time he does this little video, he's like, and then Amanda Petuglia is like, I love it.
- 1:12:33[SPEAKER_01]: So Nate is standing alone and Catherine comes and grabs him and is like, why did you kiss Serena?
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_01]: You try to make me jealous.
- 1:12:39[SPEAKER_01]: How dare you?
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_01]: But it totally freaking worked and then they go into a room making out.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_01]: This is, and hey, it totally freaking worked.
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_01]: Totally freaking worked.
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_01]: So Serena, hey, question for you Serena.
- 1:12:48[SPEAKER_01]: Are you a housewife?
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_01]: Are you a tradwife?
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_01]: Why are you?
- 1:12:51[SPEAKER_01]: I understand it's your grandfather's suit from the 70s, but why are you washing the stain of it?
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then why are you in a wife, Peter, in the middle of this party?
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_01]: There are people all over like, go to an upstairs bathroom.
- 1:13:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:13:00[SPEAKER_01]: Go to an on-sweet bathroom.
- 1:13:03[SPEAKER_01]: And she is explaining to, um, he, okay, Dan is starting to talk about this happening and he is like, I haven't been able to get you out of my freaking head.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_01]: Also, I'm like, okay, that's normal cost for girls been saying.
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you've also haven't been able to get your tongue out of any other girls mouth.
- 1:13:23[SPEAKER_01]: No, literally, like you've been able to get Serena out of your head enough to stick your tongue into someone else's brain.
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like a freaking COVID does like a freaking COVID test.
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, okay.
- 1:13:34[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, it's giving me a SP.
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_01]: He's like I just thought if I saw you I would know we did the right thing.
- 1:13:40[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, that's annoying.
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_01]: Don't come to the Hampton's just see me to be like, okay I was right.
- 1:13:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be with you like
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_01]: Don't do that.
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_01]: And also like by the way, they're whole conversation before they get interrupted by the two girls before this happened.
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's being He's like, you're a fucking slut.
- 1:13:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, oh, I don't know.
- 1:13:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's right every time.
- 1:14:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's never simple with you.
- 1:14:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's never like, yeah, it was just kissing.
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's always like, but there's a reason.
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_01]: What is the reason you can't keep it freaking legs close?
- 1:14:08[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'm going to make it through killed another person.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_01]: Oh great.
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_01]: You're a oh, are you a mass murderer now, too?
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_01]: actually a mass murderer, but it has to be before we let us see it.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like, well, from the drama.
- 1:14:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, she's like, actually, it has to be it.
- 1:14:22[SPEAKER_00]: That is one of the best.
- 1:14:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I guys, I know that it's a sense of the subject of course.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_01]: But as a day as line read of that, where she says, like, I don't know the movie is so.
- 1:14:31[SPEAKER_01]: Just not the time to interrupt your boyfriend who's rapping his head around to this.
- 1:14:35[SPEAKER_01]: Where you go, well, actually, he would have had to kill like four people or more than that for it to be a mass shooting.
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_01]: the layers to that movie, like it's there's so much, I just love it.
- 1:14:46[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so anyway, then Serena laughs and he's like, I missed that little laugh of yours.
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't have to.
- 1:14:53[SPEAKER_01]: You dunk her ass.
- 1:14:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and also let's not forget that you tried to make the entire wedding about you.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_01]: She's about to walk on the aisle, the wedding planner is literally like, dunk her back, pushing her down the aisle because it's the, it's timed up with the quartet and Dan's like, this can't wait.
- 1:15:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_01]: Lost my train of thought.
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well that's fine.
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_01]: What I don't understand is how.
- 1:15:17[SPEAKER_01]: Serena is yet again the one in the relationship that is grovely.
- 1:15:22[SPEAKER_01]: No, I know.
- 1:15:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's because he's a manipulative piece of shit, fuck boy pretending to be nice and he's not.
- 1:15:27[SPEAKER_01]: He like wants you to always be on her toes, like worried.
- 1:15:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:15:31[SPEAKER_01]: So then he grabs Serena's hand and kisses her.
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, like we're getting really bold here.
- 1:15:35[SPEAKER_01]: You just said you came here to make sure you made the right choice and now you're getting lips and like I'm like what?
- 1:15:40[SPEAKER_01]: So he's like, let's get out of here and she's like like, I have to go say my advice and he goes, I'll meet you at the beach.
- 1:15:44[SPEAKER_01]: Just wanna say, not a super specific meeting spot.
- 1:15:47[SPEAKER_01]: No, you're in the beach.
- 1:15:50[SPEAKER_00]: Where?
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we would know.
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be searching day and night.
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, I know.
- 1:15:54[SPEAKER_01]: We would know, but like, but if we were the hamsters, if you ever been here before, what's like the first time I went to Charleston with my friends for spring break.
- 1:16:00[SPEAKER_01]: I hear like, I'll meet you at the beach.
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_01]: They were like, Taylor was like, I went to the beach.
- 1:16:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I urge she was like I'm going to the beach and I see her location.
- 1:16:07[SPEAKER_01]: She's driven to the front beach.
- 1:16:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, girl, you should have asked for a direction.
- 1:16:11[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 1:16:11[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't have to get in the car.
- 1:16:14[SPEAKER_01]: So Dan goes to leave and then he sees he sees he sees he who is somehow not mad that he is now in a wife beater at the white party, which has a very strict dress code actually told us.
- 1:16:22[SPEAKER_01]: So where comes up to James?
- 1:16:23[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, listen, you're right.
- 1:16:25[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't need you to be interesting.
- 1:16:26[SPEAKER_01]: So I didn't listen when you talked.
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_01]: And now she's talking to James.
- 1:16:29[SPEAKER_01]: Chuck gets a call from his PI.
- 1:16:32[SPEAKER_01]: And James is like, well, honestly, like we have something in common, I haven't been honest with you either.
- 1:16:36[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't go to school and Caroline do the little transition here.
- 1:16:41[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't go to George Hanning and go to Princeton.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_01]: My name's actually Marcus Beaton.
- 1:16:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I am a Lord.
- 1:16:47[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, oh, and then we see on Chuck's face that he obviously just run the same thing from his PI.
- 1:16:56[SPEAKER_01]: Most women only like me for my title.
- 1:16:59[SPEAKER_01]: I was afraid you'd hate me for lying.
- 1:17:01[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, well, the title's great, but I think we should probably be honest.
- 1:17:05[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, honestly, okay, you want honesty.
- 1:17:08[SPEAKER_01]: I like when you tell me I was born.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_01]: No one's
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_01]: literally literally no one has ever said that no one's ever said my name and boring in the same way.
- 1:17:15[SPEAKER_01]: And like she wants to live a lot of life as this is boring to her.
- 1:17:20[SPEAKER_01]: So then Catherine innate walk back into the party holding hands.
- 1:17:25[SPEAKER_01]: Hey Nate and Katherine.
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_01]: It Katherine is really home because Nate doesn't care.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:17:31[SPEAKER_01]: Nate's like, I want everyone to see it because this is my woman and I love her.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_01]: Nate wants this affair to last forever.
- 1:17:36[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, hey Katherine, okay, the cops are on their way.
- 1:17:39[SPEAKER_01]: The cops are on their way.
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_01]: I've called them.
- 1:17:42[SPEAKER_01]: Chuck's PI is walking in and he is on to you.
- 1:17:44[SPEAKER_01]: He is fully on to you.
- 1:17:46[SPEAKER_01]: And then I also wanna say Nate's outfits a little casual if you ask me.
- 1:17:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's fair.
- 1:17:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's just wearing a T and a card again.
- 1:17:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, okay Dan, how to show up in a linen suit.
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_01]: I guess you're, I guess your name counts for something in these bars.
- 1:17:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:18:00[SPEAKER_01]: So, Jennie and Eric are now at the bar and Laurel approaches me.
- 1:18:03[SPEAKER_01]: Find out that Tinsley Mortimer, Tinsley Mortimer has offered Jennie an internship.
- 1:18:08[SPEAKER_01]: Jennie says, Big guess what Laurel, you're stuck with me.
- 1:18:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm learning a lot.
- 1:18:12[SPEAKER_00]: You're stuck with me, babe.
- 1:18:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm learning a lot about social warfare where I am right now.
- 1:18:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm learning a lot about what you could learn from me at Waldorf Designs.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_01]: So she's going to say where she is and then they end on good terms and she leaves and she says by Jenny and Jenny's like, oh my god, she knows my name now.
- 1:18:28[SPEAKER_01]: Jenny, girl.
- 1:18:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so outside, it's a shock goes up to Blair and it's like, you see, well, I'm not going to let you take it.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so Blair standing outside and Chuck walks out and he's like, listen, I never should have abandoned you.
- 1:18:43[SPEAKER_01]: I've just been trying to distract myself all summer, which Chuck, I do have to say, hindsight, like, come on, like you knew who you were dealing with.
- 1:18:52[SPEAKER_01]: This shouldn't be as a prize that she's now, you're at war, you know.
- 1:18:56[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, I was just afraid that you would see me and please don't leave with them and Blair, they keep like inching closer and closer together.
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_01]: And her eyes are welling up with tears and she's like, give me a reason.
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, I don't want you to both of them.
- 1:19:10[SPEAKER_01]: And he gives her all these reasons.
- 1:19:10[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, none of these are good enough to tell me the true reason I should stay right where I am and not get in the car.
- 1:19:16[SPEAKER_01]: Three words, eight letters.
- 1:19:18[SPEAKER_01]: Say it and I'm yours.
- 1:19:21[SPEAKER_01]: And she goes, thank you.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I needed to hear.
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_01]: And with tears in her eyes.
- 1:19:29[SPEAKER_01]: Blair so strong for a 17 year old.
- 1:19:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the fact that because I'm like, he might have said it, but you said if you can't say it that fast, I'm good.
- 1:19:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think that she also knows it's not over.
- 1:19:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like this they know her you know what I mean like she's just wins this this little part of the fight But the war will continue and so but tears in her eyes she gets in the car with Marcus even chuckle on it And also just you want to say like you guys haven't said I love you yet like you told Nate you were in love with her So you should be able to say it, but it's like chuck it.
- 1:19:55[SPEAKER_01]: They're both like until I know you are in hook line and sinker You will not catch me being vulnerable with like no way know how
- 1:20:02[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Nate is looking fully villainous watching the crowd of the party.
- 1:20:08[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:20:08[SPEAKER_01]: And, um, Catherine walks by.
- 1:20:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and she slips Nate a note with a meeting time.
- 1:20:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:20:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then we go to the beach and danishes.
- 1:20:18[SPEAKER_01]: Now he has a note pad, as if that's going to help him write his thing in his bathroom.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's not just so analog, like I think it was honestly the key word, it was the key word.
- 1:20:27[SPEAKER_01]: I got one of those ASMR key words, big mistake.
- 1:20:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, it's either the typewriter or the bell.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's the typewriter or the quail.
- 1:20:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, literally.
- 1:20:36[SPEAKER_01]: And by Candelite, it's preferable.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's Dan and a wife beat her sitting on a log with a bonfire and a journal.
- 1:20:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:20:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then he's like writing with a stick.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_01]: He keeps like going to medicate and stand wet and then he like writes it.
- 1:20:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to find him and it finds him waiting and then they do they don't in a kiss.
- 1:20:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they just like kind of hug.
- 1:20:56[SPEAKER_01]: They just kind of smile and he like pulls her clothes.
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_01]: And then of course there are fireworks fireworks began as Dan holds the ring up and they sort of like snuggle up.
- 1:21:05[SPEAKER_01]: And gossip girl says, you ain't seen nothing yet.
- 1:21:08[SPEAKER_01]: Exo exo gossip.

- 1:21:40[SPEAKER_01]: Serena and Dan agreed to keep their recent hookups a secret.
- 1:21:43[SPEAKER_01]: What do you mean, reason hookups?
- 1:21:46[SPEAKER_01]: Great, spoilers.
- 1:21:47[SPEAKER_01]: They're gonna be hooking up.

- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_01]: You need a deep clean.
- 1:22:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think you guys wouldn't need to go have sex in the shower.
- 1:22:07[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, okay.

- 1:22:48[SPEAKER_01]: Why do we have to wear my heel, my best heels in the lake?
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_01]: I was more of a crock girl.
