- 0:25Speaker 1: and get hit by a car, is.

- 0:57Speaker 1: Little puppy Jack is here and going nowhere.
- 1:00Speaker 3: He's yeah, he is mosy and on about thirteen year
- 1:04Speaker 3: old dogs don't get to.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Go on any field trips. He's taking the most of it.
- 1:07Speaker 1: This this has been. He has taken two dozen laps
- 1:11Speaker 1: at least. Uh freezes to a still when you eat
- 1:14Speaker 1: an Italian sub in front of him.
- 1:17Speaker 2: He is one of a kind. I love him. That's great.
- 1:20Speaker 2: He is here. He's got about it all right, we'll
- 1:22Speaker 2: see good talk.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Oh no, no, I've got just gino personal injury court.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You know how much I love that?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Who do you have?
- 1:31Speaker 1: I went back to mathis as faith, that's all faith. Well,
- 1:35Speaker 1: everybody knows your news. You're sound intriguing. Does someone not
- 1:38Speaker 1: have two legs? No, everybody's legs. Said something about a
- 1:44Speaker 1: leg to staying on.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it was poor choice of words. Everyone here has
- 1:49Speaker 1: two legs. But one of the diamond thing. One of
- 1:52Speaker 1: the girl's name is Diamond. Well, let's let's go over there.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Diamond Bailey is suing her brother, Cleveland Bailey, the third.
- 2:02Speaker 1: There's two other Cleveland Bailey.
- 2:04Speaker 2: There's three of them.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Wow, oh Mara for fourteen and twenty five dollars for
- 2:12Speaker 1: the balance due on a car plus unpaid parking tickets.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Cleveland is suing her sister. His sister counter seing for
- 2:21Speaker 1: one thousand dollars in emotional I put emotional brother, but
- 2:25Speaker 1: I believe distress that it is emotional distress.
- 2:29Speaker 2: So the initial.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Suit is for four to twenty five fourteen twenty fourteen,
- 2:34Speaker 1: twenty five, fourteen twenty five. But to say, you don't
- 2:36Speaker 1: see a lot of countersuits that are more than the
- 2:39Speaker 1: initial suit. I've not seen someone quite as demonstrative as
- 2:44Speaker 1: Cleveland Bailey.
- 2:45Speaker 2: The third is you got two others.
- 2:47Speaker 1: To learn from, So he is by the third he
- 2:49Speaker 1: should try the third would really That's when they hit
- 2:52Speaker 1: their stride. Cleveland has got up just a black T
- 2:54Speaker 1: shirt on in one chain wow, and he looks like
- 2:57Speaker 1: he's just there and like serious. But as soon as
- 2:59Speaker 1: it sister starts talking, it's like he's acting out of play.
- 3:03Speaker 2: It is something. So we start with Diamond.
- 3:06Speaker 1: She says, my name's Diamond Bailey, and this is my
- 3:09Speaker 1: little brother Cleveland. As soon as she says that, he's
- 3:12Speaker 1: like like he like flops his arms over and he's
- 3:16Speaker 1: like this girl already with the younger brother talk.
- 3:20Speaker 2: He said we she said, we come from a two
- 3:22Speaker 2: parent household.
- 3:23Speaker 1: We had a good mom and dad, but we grew
- 3:25Speaker 1: up in a really tough neighborhood and we always had
- 3:28Speaker 1: to stick up for Cleveland always.
- 3:30Speaker 3: And Jodge Mathis says, how much older are you in Cleveland?
- 3:33Speaker 3: She says, I'm a year older. Cleveland leans over and
- 3:36Speaker 3: puts his elbows on the table like full elbows on
- 3:39Speaker 3: the table like this like this and goes, h, what
- 3:44Speaker 3: does he say? He says, not even a whole year older,
- 3:48Speaker 3: but okay.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I love this. This clearly hasn't bothered him at all.
- 3:53Speaker 1: He leans over and he's like, not even a whole
- 3:55Speaker 1: year older, but okay whatever, Like you're already lying, you're lying.
- 3:59Speaker 2: No good be saying you're a year older and that's not.
- 4:02Speaker 3: True, and h Mathis kind of ignores him. But Matthews
- 4:07Speaker 3: is gonna become very very short with like mat It's
- 4:11Speaker 3: gonna wear on Mathis and you can see it where
- 4:13Speaker 3: because everything is like lish, not like very just over
- 4:19Speaker 3: the top.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And he smiled the whole time. So Diamond says, we
- 4:23Speaker 1: had to fight his battles. He was a very effeminate child,
- 4:27Speaker 1: and so we had to fight the boys, and we.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Had to fight the girls. Mathis says he couldn't fight
- 4:33Speaker 3: in Cleveland.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Says, I'm the best fighter in the family, right, And
- 4:38Speaker 1: then Mathis decides to offer up this piece of information
- 4:43Speaker 1: and I'm just gonna read it as Mathis says it.
- 4:45Speaker 1: That's the only way that Yeah, you're scared, you're terrified,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and you should be Matthis says my brother was gay,
- 4:51Speaker 1: and he'd tear you apart, especially if he had that razor.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Everyone is quiet, like like very like laughing, but just
- 5:04Speaker 1: very uncomfortable in the courtroom.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And then he continues.
- 5:08Speaker 1: People, has Mathes's brothers cut with the race?
- 5:11Speaker 2: Ready? Yeah?
- 5:12Speaker 1: He said, you come around my projects talking about the
- 5:15Speaker 1: gay guys, they would slice you in thirty places.
- 5:22Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Then Mathes looks at him and goes, you can fight,
- 5:27Speaker 1: can't you, And Cleveland goes, oh, I can fight. Is
- 5:29Speaker 1: Cleveland gay? Is that a part of this at all?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yes?
- 5:32Speaker 3: Okay, okay, but it doesn't come into play anymore. All right,
- 5:36Speaker 3: Cleveland says, now, I did your honor.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I did. I got sliced before, and I ain't trying
- 5:40Speaker 2: to do no slicing, all right, So we do.
- 5:43Speaker 3: But on the record is if you're keeping notes at home,
- 5:46Speaker 3: you keep it scoring home. Cleveland ain't trying to do
- 5:49Speaker 3: no slicing.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Okay. Good.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Good to know that not all gay people will cut
- 5:53Speaker 1: you with a razor.
- 5:54Speaker 2: That's good to know.
- 5:55Speaker 1: It's good to have it on the record, thanks Cleveland.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Whereas Mathews, if you come around the gays, they'll slice
- 6:03Speaker 1: you up thirty different places. Judge mathis everyone God bless it.
- 6:11Speaker 2: So he says, how you have a probat school.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Diamond's like, look, Cleveland could hold his own, but there
- 6:16Speaker 1: was always a bully and we were taught as a
- 6:19Speaker 1: kid to stick up for each other, and so that's
- 6:20Speaker 1: what I was doing. But we lost our relationship. After
- 6:23Speaker 1: high school. He started being a different person. Oh, Mathews said,
- 6:27Speaker 1: how so?
- 6:27Speaker 3: And she said, well, he drinks a lot and it
- 6:29Speaker 3: made him totally different, really angry, really upset.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Math says he an alcoholic, and she said, yeah, he's
- 6:35Speaker 1: an alcoholic. Math says, well, that means he's acting a
- 6:38Speaker 1: fool every day. He's out there drinking every day. Somebody
- 6:41Speaker 1: does that once a month and they get angry. Okay,
- 6:43Speaker 1: they're an angry drunk.
- 6:43Speaker 2: You do it every day. Blah blah blah. Cleveland's over there,
- 6:46Speaker 2: just doing the hym and a haul in the path.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Cleveland does not think he's an alcoholic.
- 6:49Speaker 2: He just is like, you know, do it.
- 6:50Speaker 1: He's basically doing all these freeze frames for a sitcom
- 6:53Speaker 1: and I don't know why, but he is. So math
- 6:56Speaker 1: is Cleveland. Math's like, all right, let's hear from you.
- 6:58Speaker 1: And Cleveland's like from our childhood. We never had good relationship. Uh.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I don't know what he means by half the things
- 7:05Speaker 3: he says. I'm gonna be honest right now, but I
- 7:06Speaker 3: wrote a couple of them down to see if we
- 7:08Speaker 3: can get to the bottom of it. He says, she
- 7:11Speaker 3: can run that line all the way to the cemetery
- 7:13Speaker 3: and back, but it's not true.
- 7:15Speaker 1: All right, I got that one.
- 7:17Speaker 2: What line? I don't even know what line? Well, I
- 7:19Speaker 2: don't know what the line.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I'm assuming she said something that he considers to be
- 7:22Speaker 1: a line that she is using.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Till they die. Is that what he's saying? Yes, okayat she.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Can say that as many times as she wants to
- 7:29Speaker 1: until she dies, but to the cemetery and back doesn't
- 7:31Speaker 1: mean it's true.
- 7:33Speaker 2: She can go all the way to die dying and
- 7:34Speaker 2: come back and going as a ghost. Keep saying it
- 7:37Speaker 2: still wouldn't help me, thank you. Uh. He said.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I did some things as an adolescent, normal things like
- 7:44Speaker 1: sneak out of the house.
- 7:45Speaker 2: And you know what my sister would do.
- 7:46Speaker 3: When I sneak out of the house, she locked the doors,
- 7:48Speaker 3: and then when I couldn't get back in, she'd tell
- 7:50Speaker 3: my parents she was not a good sister. Wasn't loyal
- 7:53Speaker 3: sister at allow The position that she had to defend
- 7:57Speaker 3: me is a lie. She's never been a defender or
- 8:00Speaker 3: a sister, okay, And at this point I cannot rely
- 8:05Speaker 3: on her. And then he says, if this building burned down, she'd.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Probably take you out of here before me. I, well,
- 8:14Speaker 1: can I just really speak up for her? I think
- 8:17Speaker 1: we all would. He's a national treather. Matt mash trether
- 8:21Speaker 1: Masius is a national mathis is a national treasure. And
- 8:24Speaker 1: he must who thinks that the gay people in the
- 8:26Speaker 1: projects will cut you in thirty different places? National treasther?
- 8:33Speaker 1: Judge may the treather?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Do we all do? Matthews is? Why why would she
- 8:39Speaker 2: take me out of here before you? In a burning building?
- 8:40Speaker 1: And he says, well, I just left a domestic violence
- 8:43Speaker 1: situation nine months ago this January.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I don't have any more information. I called both my sisters.
- 8:50Speaker 1: It's not just that's yeah. I called both my sisters
- 8:53Speaker 1: on three way asking for their help. At the same
- 8:56Speaker 1: time he did a three way call. This kid might
- 8:58Speaker 1: be twenty five did a three way call. I got
- 9:01Speaker 1: an attitude from both of them. The way older one
- 9:03Speaker 1: Diamond I lost everything. She claims to have been helping me,
- 9:07Speaker 1: but she's only hurting. I can't rely on her just
- 9:10Speaker 1: to call her and tell her how I'm doing. And
- 9:12Speaker 1: Judge Mathis lets him finish and goes, don't nobody owe
- 9:16Speaker 1: you nothing? Wow, okay, why are you talking like this?
- 9:20Speaker 1: Why are you doing this? And he goes, well, she
- 9:22Speaker 1: owes me be and my sister, and he goes, he said, no,
- 9:25Speaker 1: you owe her some money. Why do you owe her
- 9:28Speaker 1: some money? And he says, I don't owe her anything unless.
- 9:31Speaker 2: You prove me guilty.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Not exactly how it works, but in Mathes's courtroom, but okay,
- 9:37Speaker 1: Diamond says, look, he just moved back in with us,
- 9:40Speaker 1: and she can't finish that sentence before Cleveland goes, it's
- 9:44Speaker 1: a lie.
- 9:45Speaker 2: He says it just like that. It's a lie.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's lies, it's a lie.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Says it over and over again. Judge Mathis says, ma'am,
- 9:51Speaker 2: you got to get.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Your story out real quick, because the way he's talking,
- 9:54Speaker 3: I'm about to throw him out here. And Diamond said,
- 9:57Speaker 3: I had bought a car, a used car, and he
- 10:01Speaker 3: asked me if he could have if he could buy
- 10:04Speaker 3: it from me, and I said yeah, and I would
- 10:07Speaker 3: sell it to him for two hundred dollars, okay, two
- 10:10Speaker 3: hundred dollars, and he said, he gave me one hundred dollars.
- 10:13Speaker 3: He said, give me the title and then and then
- 10:15Speaker 3: in a week, I'll give you the other one hundred dollars.
- 10:19Speaker 3: And Mathis says, well, why'd you give him the cart
- 10:21Speaker 3: before he gave you all two hundred dollars? And she said, uh, well,
- 10:25Speaker 3: I mean, like he said he was going to be
- 10:27Speaker 3: homeless in a week and he needed a job. And
- 10:30Speaker 3: Mathis said, well, let him be homeless for a week
- 10:33Speaker 3: and see how that treats him money. And at this point,
- 10:36Speaker 3: Cleveland says, I've been homeless for I lived homeless for
- 10:39Speaker 3: three years, and Mathews, without missing a meat, goes.
- 10:41Speaker 2: See he's used to it. My gosh, Mathews is doing
- 10:46Speaker 2: it in this episode.
- 10:47Speaker 1: He's brutal.
- 10:49Speaker 2: So he's like, tell me more about this. That's only
- 10:52Speaker 2: one hundred dollars he owes you.
- 10:53Speaker 1: And she says, well, he started getting parking tickets in
- 10:56Speaker 1: my name over and over again.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I started hearing from the state and from the.
- 11:00Speaker 1: City about parking tickets, and I kept texting him telling
- 11:03Speaker 1: him it was in my the car was still in
- 11:05Speaker 1: my name, and he told me he'd move it to
- 11:07Speaker 1: his name.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I signed the title over to him. He should be
- 11:09Speaker 2: doing this, he should.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Be paying for this that, and it just kept piling up,
- 11:14Speaker 1: Cleveland said, Mathis goes.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Is this true?
- 11:17Speaker 3: Cleveland goes, So I reached out to Diamond on exhibit
- 11:22Speaker 3: in your evidence Packet your Honor, exhibit page five. Okay,
- 11:28Speaker 3: exhibit page five.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Got it and says, I want you to listen to
- 11:33Speaker 1: this after we finished this, because I was trying not
- 11:36Speaker 1: you and I would have it would have been a
- 11:37Speaker 1: situation where we'd have been laughing.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Here's his best and I can figure what he says.
- 11:41Speaker 3: He says, Diamond did not let me know about any
- 11:43Speaker 3: tickets in her name. This is what I was trying
- 11:46Speaker 3: to communicate, that if it came to this through a
- 11:49Speaker 3: third party.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I would need to know ahead of time.
- 11:55Speaker 1: He says that. He says, this is what I was
- 11:57Speaker 1: trying to communicate. If you look on page five, this
- 12:00Speaker 1: is what I was trying when I was trying to
- 12:01Speaker 1: communicate that if it came through a third party ahead
- 12:10Speaker 1: and then he said how it works, he says, and
- 12:13Speaker 1: then I was pulled over after she reported the car stolen.
- 12:18Speaker 1: That's what he does. Uh, and my friend made a
- 12:21Speaker 1: statement in our evidence packet. He keeps referring to an
- 12:24Speaker 1: evidence packet to contact the DA and the attorney's office.
- 12:28Speaker 1: And that's why I'm suing for one thousand dollars. In
- 12:29Speaker 1: mathis is like, hold on, hold on, we're not to
- 12:32Speaker 1: your countersuit yet. If it's your car, she can't report
- 12:36Speaker 1: it stolen. We're not there yet. We're not there yet.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Just wait. I need to know.
- 12:40Speaker 1: About the balance of the card and the unpaid parking tickets.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Did you did you get these parking tickets?
- 12:48Speaker 1: Does she have the parking tickets? Yeah, she's got all
- 12:51Speaker 1: the reck. Uh have you paid for those parking tickets?
- 12:55Speaker 1: She's He says, no, I've not paid it. He goes, great,
- 12:58Speaker 1: why haven't you paid the balance of the car? One
- 13:00Speaker 1: hundred dollars balance of the car, and he goes, she
- 13:04Speaker 1: can have it. What does that mean? I guess it
- 13:07Speaker 1: means he'd rather give the car back to her. I think,
- 13:11Speaker 1: but she can have the one hundred dollars, she can
- 13:14Speaker 1: have it. The one hundred dollars, she can have it.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I guess I don't know. So Matthews goes, all right,
- 13:19Speaker 1: let's get to this stolen police report. You're seeing one
- 13:21Speaker 1: thousand dollars for emotional distress, and you're saying that she
- 13:24Speaker 1: called the you know, she called it and stolen.
- 13:26Speaker 2: You got pulled over. He goes, yes, and he goes.
- 13:29Speaker 1: He says, Diamond, did you report use the term stolen
- 13:32Speaker 1: when you file the police report? And Diamond said I
- 13:35Speaker 1: never filed a police report. Oh, and he once again
- 13:40Speaker 1: Cleveland goes, lies, lies, big lies.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Mathis goes who has the police report that says the
- 13:45Speaker 3: car was stolen? Cleveland goes who has evidence saying they
- 13:49Speaker 3: bought the car. Mathis goes, well, you do, but do
- 13:54Speaker 3: you have evidence that she reported it stolen? And he goes,
- 13:58Speaker 3: my evidence is Demante Green. Who's Deamonte Green? My evidence
- 14:05Speaker 3: is Demonte Green. Matthis says, well, who is that? And
- 14:10Speaker 3: he says that's the person that I had to live
- 14:12Speaker 3: with when my sisters wouldn't let me live with them
- 14:14Speaker 3: any longer. And Judge Mathis says.
- 14:17Speaker 1: What, well, the person that you'll live with will also
- 14:21Speaker 1: let let you live with them, will also lie for you.
- 14:24Speaker 1: That's not a police report. And then and then Cleveland says,
- 14:28Speaker 1: you're honor. I don't have no more time for this today.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm about to go shopping, all right. It was wild brand,
- 14:40Speaker 1: it was a wild time with Cleveland Bailey the Third.
- 14:46Speaker 2: You'll know your time for that.
- 14:47Speaker 1: He's gonna go shopping.
- 14:48Speaker 2: You gotta go shop.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Can can that does give her more money than what
- 14:53Speaker 1: she asked for?
- 14:54Speaker 2: I mean he always can?
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh is it time to rule?
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it's time.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Yeah, she's gonna get all the money he's Yeah, of course.
- 15:02Speaker 3: You've got to see Cleveland Bailey the Third in action.
- 15:05Speaker 3: I love this guy. He was a treat give him
- 15:08Speaker 3: a show. He was so great.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Thank you, Cleveland Bailey the Third. That's true, that's true.
- 15:15Speaker 1: It's time for Judge Gino's court, the personal injury court
- 15:18Speaker 1: where the money don't the points don't matter. The points
- 15:21Speaker 1: don't matter, but the money does. It's higher than most
- 15:23Speaker 1: other TV court room shows. Howard Taylor, Howard Taylor, it's
- 15:30Speaker 1: I didn't want to wake up Jack. See he's doing
- 15:33Speaker 1: a good boy.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Howard suing Dottie Martin. Dotty Dotty suing Dottie Martin. He
- 15:41Speaker 1: is suing her for five thousand dollars for medical fifteen
- 15:44Speaker 1: thousand dollars for lost wages and fifty thousand dollars for
- 15:47Speaker 1: paying of suffering, for a total of seventy thousand.
- 15:49Speaker 2: That's a really low number for JA for.
- 15:51Speaker 1: This, Yes, but let's get to it. Gino starts by
- 15:54Speaker 1: playing a nine to one one call from a man
- 15:58Speaker 1: claiming that there is a guy standing in the road
- 16:02Speaker 1: butt naked. Gino stops the nine oh one call and says,
- 16:07Speaker 1: mister Taylor, are you the button naked guy? He says, yes,
- 16:11Speaker 1: I am, And it's tied to getting the legal sauce.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Howard loves the beach. That's something you need to know
- 16:17Speaker 1: about Howard. And one day he's at the beach. He's
- 16:21Speaker 1: in the water and a riptide comes and takes his
- 16:25Speaker 1: swimming trunks off of him and away from so he
- 16:32Speaker 1: is like, I start freaking out. I can't find my trunks.
- 16:35Speaker 1: So I get back to the beach and I'm like,
- 16:38Speaker 1: I've gotta get home. His home's only two blocks away.
- 16:43Speaker 1: He's a firefighter, and so he's worried that someone's gonna
- 16:45Speaker 1: see him in the towel, didn't have nothing.
- 16:48Speaker 3: He's at the beach with no towel and a rip
- 16:52Speaker 3: tide rips his swim trunks off.
- 16:54Speaker 1: That is, I don't believe anything. This guy says, no way,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. He's the nervous
- 17:00Speaker 1: that someone's gonna see him nake it and that he's
- 17:02Speaker 1: gonna lose his firefighter job. That's kind of where he's at.
- 17:05Speaker 1: So he's like, I go running.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I'm running.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I go down an alleyway that I know of, and
- 17:10Speaker 1: there's a trash can there. I look in the trash can,
- 17:12Speaker 1: there's a paper plate, and I'm like, thank God. So
- 17:15Speaker 1: I put the paper plate in front of my private
- 17:19Speaker 1: area and I get back to running. Now I get
- 17:23Speaker 1: to the road that I have to cross in order
- 17:27Speaker 1: to get to my house. My house is right over
- 17:29Speaker 1: on the other side of this road. It is a
- 17:33Speaker 1: two lane rode and so I go out.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I run.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I go into the one lane, I hold up my
- 17:42Speaker 1: hand they stop. I then go to go to the
- 17:47Speaker 1: other lane and run through, and a car comes speeding
- 17:50Speaker 1: by nails me. I go flying up in the air
- 17:54Speaker 1: twenty feet and I land right on my bottom, breaking
- 18:00Speaker 1: his tailbone.
- 18:02Speaker 2: I can't believe this is only seventy thousand.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Dottie says. I was on my way to choir practice
- 18:09Speaker 1: listening to my Christian music like I have every week
- 18:12Speaker 1: for twenty five years. How old is she She's in
- 18:17Speaker 1: her sixties. She says, I know this road like the
- 18:22Speaker 1: back of my hand, and I don't speed. Howard goes
- 18:26Speaker 1: over to the plasma to demonstrate what happens via an animation. Howard,
- 18:34Speaker 1: as he's walking over to the plasma is doing like
- 18:39Speaker 1: really just giving it as all over there we see
- 18:42Speaker 1: an animation. A blue car in the lane closest to
- 18:47Speaker 1: us stops and he goes to run, and a red
- 18:50Speaker 1: car comes in the further lane, strikes him, sends him
- 18:54Speaker 1: for there. We see a couple of things here. We
- 18:58Speaker 1: see a hot dog stand and more on that later.
- 19:06Speaker 1: But that's about it, and so we see what happens
- 19:10Speaker 1: things to this animation. Geno asks why Dotty didn't stop,
- 19:14Speaker 1: and she says, I didn't have time to react. I
- 19:18Speaker 1: see some run, someone running, and then I realized some
- 19:21Speaker 1: things are jingling and tingling. I couldn't stop in time.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I was so shocked. I was in shock. I don't speed.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I have forty years of a clean driving record. I
- 19:32Speaker 1: don't speed. I drive looking forward. I just didn't have
- 19:37Speaker 1: time to react, did she keep driving or did she stop?
- 19:40Speaker 1: She stopped?
- 19:40Speaker 2: Okay, she's not a monster.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Okay, he's going to cry a choir practice. Howard explains
- 19:45Speaker 1: that he busted his tailbone, had to be out of
- 19:49Speaker 1: work for three months now, has a super high pain
- 19:52Speaker 1: all the time, and the hardest part is that he
- 19:56Speaker 1: can't pick up his child or play with his child
- 19:59Speaker 1: without a lot of pain. Uh. And Gino says that
- 20:02Speaker 1: he understands what this specific injury feels like because the
- 20:06Speaker 1: same thing happened to him when he was playing college football.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Wow, same thing.
- 20:11Speaker 1: A lot of pain. Whether you're standing up, sitting down, moving,
- 20:14Speaker 1: not moving, doesn't matter. You're in a lot of pain.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And Gino says, I can tell by your animation that
- 20:21Speaker 1: you brought uh here that you didn't use the crosswalk. Yeah, no,
- 20:27Speaker 1: why do you not use the crosswalk? It is close,
- 20:29Speaker 1: according to the animation, And he says that he was
- 20:32Speaker 1: just frantic, just trying to get home. It didn't even
- 20:36Speaker 1: occur to me to go to the crosswalk.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Yeah, there's not a lot to stand on here.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Geno brings in a doctor to talk about the injury. Yep,
- 20:46Speaker 1: it's not fun. That's what you need to know about this. Injury.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Then Howard says, I have a witness. Can I get
- 20:53Speaker 1: a witness up in here? Jeremiah Graves is brought in.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Jeremiah Grave evidence.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Jeremiah Graves is a hot dog vendor.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Hot dog.
- 21:06Speaker 1: On the street because it's right by the beach. She
- 21:10Speaker 1: sells hot dogs by the beach, hot dogs by the
- 21:12Speaker 1: beach exactly right, and cake by the ocean. He noticed
- 21:17Speaker 1: a car speeding, which he says is rare because when
- 21:22Speaker 1: you're by the beach, people typically drive slow to twenty
- 21:24Speaker 1: five miles per hour.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Speed twenty five mile an hour situation.
- 21:27Speaker 1: People typically drive a lot slow, slower because there's kids around,
- 21:32Speaker 1: et cetera. So when someone speeds, you notice it. It
- 21:35Speaker 1: was a red car. I look at this red car
- 21:38Speaker 1: and I make eye contact with the driver. The driver's
- 21:42Speaker 1: looking over at me. I think she wants a hot dog.
- 21:45Speaker 1: She's driving like looking right at me, and I see
- 21:49Speaker 1: her and it's that woman right over there. So he says,
- 21:52Speaker 1: I he didn't.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Did he observe the accident?
- 21:55Speaker 1: Yes? He then watches the woman looking at him and
- 22:00Speaker 1: then gets she goes behind the blue car. The blue
- 22:03Speaker 1: car has already stopped, so that's where he loses his
- 22:05Speaker 1: eyesight of her, but then sees a man go flying
- 22:09Speaker 1: twenty feet, so he's able to put you know, two
- 22:11Speaker 1: two together twenty twenty feet in the air. So he says,
- 22:17Speaker 1: she was definitely not looking in front of her, she
- 22:22Speaker 1: was definitely looking at me. Gino asked Dottie if that's
- 22:26Speaker 1: the case, and she says, no, I was always looking
- 22:28Speaker 1: at the road. I was listening to my Christian music.
- 22:30Speaker 1: That's what I do. She's very just like taken back
- 22:33Speaker 1: by all her you know. Jeremiah says he basically everything
- 22:38Speaker 1: again that he saw her looking at. So Gino ask
- 22:43Speaker 1: ask Dottie if if it's not your fault, why do
- 22:48Speaker 1: you think he's suing you, and she says because he's
- 22:52Speaker 1: a free loading scam artist. Whoa I know? And Gina says,
- 22:57Speaker 1: those are some pretty bold words. Why do you say that?
- 23:02Speaker 1: And she says this is not his first lawsuit. Two
- 23:07Speaker 1: years ago, he filed a lawsuit claiming that he was
- 23:12Speaker 1: struck by a vehicle. Ah. She presents the folder to
- 23:18Speaker 1: the court. He says that he's had some bad luck. Yeah,
- 23:22Speaker 1: pass lawsuits are not relevant to this case, and Judge
- 23:27Speaker 1: Gino is ready to rule.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So here's the thing. You know the fifty to fifty rule.
- 23:31Speaker 2: I know the fifty fifty rule.
- 23:32Speaker 1: But the bigger thing for me is that his story
- 23:36Speaker 1: is not credible. And let me tell you why. If
- 23:40Speaker 1: she is speeding, that means she is going thirty five
- 23:44Speaker 1: to fifty miles an hour. And if you hit someone
- 23:47Speaker 1: in a car going thirty five to fifty miles an hour,
- 23:51Speaker 1: they do not fly twenty feet.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Up in the air.
- 23:55Speaker 1: They get smooched, they're done. They don't break a tailbone. Okay,
- 24:01Speaker 1: she was not speeding. This guy's a scam artist. His
- 24:05Speaker 1: story doesn't add up, and he paid some guy chilling
- 24:08Speaker 1: hot dogs to help him out.
- 24:09Speaker 2: He had better not get a time. No way, no how,
- 24:12Speaker 2: I'll see.
- 24:12Speaker 1: You all right. So Judge Gino starts by saying that
- 24:18Speaker 1: he can't that past lawsuits are not relevant to this case.
- 24:23Speaker 1: He can't consider them when making argument, so he literally
- 24:26Speaker 1: tears it up. It so thanks he is. So he says, Howard,
- 24:32Speaker 1: first of all, you didn't use the crosswalk.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Didn't use it.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Didn't use the crosswalk. That's called the safety zone. So
- 24:40Speaker 1: didn't use the crosswalk. But then he says, Dottie, I
- 24:43Speaker 1: do believe that you were driving distract it. Okay, and
- 24:49Speaker 1: so he says, Howard, I believe that you are twenty
- 24:53Speaker 1: five percent responsible, So I'm gonna give you fifty two.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Are you kidding? I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe it.
- 25:00Speaker 2: That's absurd.
- 25:00Speaker 1: This guy's a joker. This guy's just a big old joker.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Judge Gino got had, You got had. That's terrible. He's
- 25:06Speaker 1: wrong for this, for this, that's awful. Yeah, not great man,
- 25:11Speaker 1: not brutal. Yeah, I didn't even talk about the towel thing.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Why do you not have a towel? Yeah, just it's
- 25:17Speaker 1: there's so much of his story that doesn't add up
- 25:20Speaker 1: so much, so much, you know, I couldn't believe it.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Twenty five percent. I thought he was bad as saying
- 25:26Speaker 1: the gas and the projects will cut you thirty different. Yes,
- 25:29Speaker 1: I thought he might get a little something. That's kind
- 25:31Speaker 1: of what the vibe was picking up. But twenty five percent,
- 25:34Speaker 1: that's crazy. The cross like you literally crosswalk is the
- 25:36Speaker 1: whole that's the whole, the whole game. Okay, exactly right.
- 25:40Speaker 1: You don't have the right of wayes run out in
- 25:42Speaker 1: the street just because you're naked, doesn't mean that the
- 25:45Speaker 1: rules don't apply to you. Greed best I can figure
- 25:47Speaker 1: if so much tells me otherwise.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Count you're not on the devil. Devil we did.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Congratulations, gonna be next time. We'll be back next time
