  That's what we're about, you know, that's why I love high

  Which I love because there's one thing there's a tattoo that's

  thing that you're trying to represent.

  We love our 570. We are like when it comes to the

  570, we are championing. That there's a lot of people who

  like, then I can't wait to get rich to leave this area bro.

  definitely something that I'm just as passionate about you and

  I think that's where we kind of bonded.

  Was our past our bond. For this this dirty coal hole, I

  that encompasses whether it's a small business, whether it's the

  people you meet. Whether it's the people in this

  area working their ass off, trying to create and trying to

  make beautiful art when it comes to anything.

  And but it really hones in for us on the professional wrestling

  scene you've been in this business quite some time.

  You've been around a long time from the days of the wild

  Samoans 2. Then, you know, kind of reinvent
• 6:05
  yourself coming back to the scene with the sanctuary and
• 6:07
  helping there and put some Storylines together.

  And then really, I guess, I would say really built that
• 6:13
  confidence up to then create what we now are here to talk
• 6:16
  about today. And that's smash Master
• 6:17
  wrestling. Smash baby.

  Yeah, I've been around the block a time or two.

  You'll never hear me claim to be like a 20-year guy because I
• 6:25
  spend more time out than in. I've always been dabbling with
• 6:29
  just various forms of entertainment not just wrestling
• 6:33
  so to be back and to be focused, you know, and for the first time
• 6:38
  ever on Reinvigorating the scene.

  It feels good. It feels good to not have to
• 6:45
  worry about what Wawa I'm going to stop and eat on the way home.

  Because, you know, I'm going to go home.

  It's beautiful thing. I do like my Wawa stops though.

  Yeah. So what was your driving force
• 6:57
  behind starting smash Master wrestling and and and how did we
• 7:01
  get this project off the ground? One of my favorite parts of it
• 7:04
  man is really I think you've taken from your veteran and
• 7:08
  being Part of locker rooms and being part of environments.
• 7:11
  I think you've taken the best parts of that.
• 7:14
  So as a fan, I think you have a completely different
• 7:17
  experiences. If you're one of the boys are,
• 7:18
  if you're a worker, right? And and being a worker in a
• 7:22
  locker room, sometimes you're someplace and just like, bro, I
• 7:25
  cannot wait for this fucking show to be over.
• 7:27
  I need to get home and you're thinking to yourself, like I'm
• 7:29
  not gonna get home till 2:30 in the morning, and then I have
• 7:32
  this tomorrow, like but when you're at a certain show, you
• 7:35
  can see that writing on the wall, but you're just so happy
• 7:38
  to be around. The people you're around, you're
• 7:40
  excited for the way. The shows going to go, you're
• 7:42
  excited for not just one match your excited for five and I
• 7:45
  think you've really encompassed that and put that in the smash
• 7:48
  Master wrestling. And my question is, how did you
• 7:51
  what was your mindset going into this and how did you create this
• 7:53
  environment? I'm glad you asked the question.

  Getting the back end because, you know me, I've been hit in
• 7:57
  the head a lot. I forget, I think me running a
• 8:01
  promotion was always inevitable, even from the earliest days pop.

  She's to have me help with flyers and graphic design and
• 8:09
  I've always been someone a dream up matches.
• 8:11
  A matchmaking is, it's just something I absolutely love.
• 8:16
  I love the Scout talent and and look for comps like, you know,
• 8:20
  who would, who would work well with, who anybody that's ever
• 8:24
  worked. With me on booking, especially
• 8:25
  here, at smash knows that I'm very particular about where
• 8:28
  matchups. I like to have a roster that you
• 8:31
  can put anybody against anybody, but I also like to have Well,
• 8:37
  engineered well-thought-out matchups.
• 8:39
  I want to be able to show off. You know what these kids that
• 8:42
  we've picked to come wrestle for us.
• 8:45
  So I think was always inevitable that I was going to run my own
• 8:48
  promotion and I never thought it would be this soon.
• 8:52
  I always figured I'd be done wrestling before I started to do
• 8:54
  it but it just kind of fell into my lap and sometimes fate
• 8:59
  dictates fate books, its own stuff and I ended up at the
• 9:03
  troop Civic Center, you know, an hour and a half.
• 9:05
  Away from my house is my true home away from home now and I
• 9:09
  couldn't imagine doing shows anywhere else because it's been
• 9:12
  such a great place to be but I think honestly, you know, the
• 9:16
  driving force behind all of this.
• 9:18
  I've been booking or helping with booking or doing scouting
• 9:23
  or aging pretty much everywhere. I go just doing it on.
• 9:28
  My own is the first time that I don't have to ask permission,
• 9:31
  you know. I'm the guy that everybody asked
• 9:32
  permission now, the answer is no.
• 9:37
  It's gonna be a no serious, huh? It's nice here and I just get to
• 9:41
  say it, you know. So your promotions interesting
• 9:46
  in the fact that there's, there's really, I mean, every
• 9:50
  wrestling company starts with one thing and one thing in mind
• 9:52
  and that's to be the top right to hold that, that that shiny
• 9:57
  piece of gold or silver. And, and to have that cows
• 10:00
  leather around your waist. How do you keep the fans?
• 10:05
  Engaged in what's happening in the ring and building up as a
• 10:08
  promotion when there's really no end game in sight, when it comes
• 10:12
  to what to achieve. Well black while I like to look
• 10:16
  at it this way, I like to think of Smash Master wrassling is
• 10:19
  about fist fights for fun and money.
• 10:21
  And that's what we're all out there for us to have a good time
• 10:24
  because we're from the 57 on. There's nothing else to do, but
• 10:27
  punch each other in the face drink.
• 10:29
  Um, well, we're in 30 like That's just building the stories
• 10:38
  without a belt. You know, I like to think of it
• 10:41
  as I wear a bib overalls, right? Like, you've seen me wrestle I
• 10:44
  wear bibs. You don't.
• 10:46
  You don't need when you wear bibs, give me the belt and our
• 10:50
  wrestling are wrestling. Doesn't need belt either.

  They're great to have out there but we're not looking to break
• 10:56
  outside of the area code. So what do we need?

  A championship to say you the best in the area code for if you
• 11:03
  think you're the best, just just come prove it.
• 11:06
  And consistently prove it and we'll settle the arguments in
• 11:09
  the water cooler. Talk about who's better, you
• 11:12
  know will some of that the ring but we don't need some fancy
• 11:16
  piece of jewelry to go out there and say I'm better than
• 11:20
  everybody else because let me tell you what happens as soon as
• 11:23
  you put a bell in the mixed with these folks, all of the most
• 11:28
  underhanded, dirty backroom tactics start.

  So people can get a shot or when about, you know what, I just
• 11:35
  don't have time to. Deal with it.

  I want to put good matchups out there that people want to see
• 11:40
  and the people want to wrestle and that's the start and end of
• 11:43
  it and the story just kind of happen.

  We haven't, you know we're five shows in, we haven't had a belt
• 11:49
  and not a single one of the fans have said, hey when we get in
• 11:52
  belts, the only ones that asked for the wrestlers?

  Yeah. I look at it like this and I'll

  break it down in terms of 570 and if I'm wrong, please correct
• 12:03
  me. But this is how I kind of look

  at it in the 570 man. Really don't have a
• 12:09
  quote-unquote belt to achieve one or two things are going to
• 12:13
  happen. If you're a 570 person either
• 12:16
  you're going to work really, really hard and uplift.

  The 570, are you going to work really hard and you're going to
• 12:22
  leave the 570 and you're going to make something of yourself.
• 12:26
  But the true 570 people go and make something.
• 12:28
  Themselves out there and bring their glory and their clout back
• 12:32
  home and that's your belt. So I think that's kind of when
• 12:36
  it comes to smash Master wrestling is you're out there
• 12:38
  and you're proving yourself and we bring Outsiders in our you
• 12:41
  bring these great talent are to Showcase how good the 570 are to
• 12:46
  re-establish. It and build up.

  What we have to go. What we have going on here.

  If you think about the roads that travel through this area
• 12:53
  code, you know, of course you have Interstate 80 and 81 two of
• 12:56
  the greatest Transportation routes in the entire country.

  You got US Route 11, that just runs the entire gamut from

  border to border south to North. You got the turnpike, the the
• 13:12
  Northeast Extension. You've got these traveling
• 13:14
  waves, I'm going somewhere with this.

  I promise you've got all these traveling lanes and all these
• 13:18
  people traveling through. Well, why are we driving three

  hours to, you know, bumfuck Egypt, New York.

  To drive up to bumfuck Egypt, New York and wrestle in front of

  the same 40 people that we could wrestle in front of at home, or

  we could just bring people to us.

  If the guys from Pittsburgh are already coming through to go to

  Speaking of scrutiny, we're going Boston, every show I try

  to, I try to rock a different independent person.

  Yeah, I guess people are catching on you, but that's all

  And it said, if assholes would fly, this place would be an

  airport. Well, I like to think of Smash

  We've got people coming across from everywhere, the

  conversations that I've had of lighting up Talent this year,

  unfair completely unfair to see what's going to be coming into

  our rinky-dink, little office town, you know, even what we've
• 14:36
  been able to pull off so far, having Martius Stop by on our
• 14:40
  second show. To to just say hello to
• 14:43
  everybody and toss it down with the Dina steel.

  You know, there's going to be good stuff.

  I'm just tired of second-rate pro wrestling and I'm not
• 14:55
  pointed out any of the promotions and specific.

  But I'm just tired of half-assed wrestling being done.

  And I want to just do everything.

  I can to provide a platform for the folks that are around here
• 15:05
  and from here to be able to perform, but not just perform.

  I want those kids in the local community to be able to be like,

  go to people that are in the community to be able to go.

  restock the pond my days of traveling around the world to do

  I'm going to be 40 this year. I'm not going to do a whole lot

  of that world travel stuff, but I still have the ability to do

  this. So why wouldn't I want to make

  the grass greener? Where I'm from?

  And my goal is that every single person that wrestles for smash

  Master outgrows it? Yeah, that's that's exactly what

  you want to do, man. And that's kind of what the

  feeling I get of wide. Why you don't need titles.

  And, and we're at once again, on the same page of how you you

  grow your backyard, your grass is greener where you water it,

  you know what I mean? And I love that and that's I'm

  at a point now where I'm trying to build my brand.

  So I once again, can maybe I tried to grow within the 570,
• 16:17
  but sometimes in the 570, you have to kind of go out.

  The area and build that following and bring it back home

  because then people see the clout than they chase it.

  That's what I'm working on right now is trying to trying to build

  a platform that people at home care or think that I'm doing

  some cool things but it's fun because that's once again I'm

  trying to bring that back to the 570.

  And if I can say like man, like you come to this area, we have

  this dope town and Tony difference Brewery which is

  showcasing wrestling. And we have high tension and we

  have the sanctuary of all these awesome places that you don't

  have to travel very far to experience.

  recreating that with smash Master wrestling.

  Master, you go back to Sanctuary, you go back to GTS,

  Mike worked in 2023 and think that guy did all of that.

  that these two talents did what they did in 2023 and we might

  not have them in 2020 2022 and we might not have them in 2023

  in ring. I'm sure we're going to see them

  at shows and they're going to be doing some cool shit to keep

  things alive. But the cool thing about smash

  Master wrestling too. Is you have some hungry Talent

  But they want those moments. They want to have those

  believe in her so fully and absolutely I know what she's

  capable of, I've gone up to Scranton.
