- 2:25a control freak? One of the great sources of frustration in life is our

- 2:38our feelings and of our response to others. No one has the power to
- 2:44make you mad unless you give them that power. We will talk about this
- 2:49in this week's episode of Positively three sixty five, but first we have our
- 2:53trivia question of the day. Are you ready for it? Here it is

- 4:17Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question? The question was
- 4:23Louis Armstrong is the master of which brass instrument? The answer the trumpet.
- 4:31Perhaps the most powerful element of Armstrong's legacy lies in the confidence, spirit,
- 4:38and conviction with which he played. Both Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie warmly acknowledged
- 4:46this contribution, and Duke Ellington made sure to include a portrait of Armstrong in
- 4:53his New Orleans suite. Now you know, worrying about things beyond our control
- 5:08is an exercise in futility, as it expends energy on the unchangeable life unfolds
- 5:15with uncertainties and acceptance becomes a powerful ally in navigating these unpredictable currents. Embracing
- 5:25the philosophy of letting go offers liberation from unnecessary burdens, fostering mental resilience.
- 5:32By focusing on what can be changed, individuals channel their energy into constructive endeavors,
- 5:41enhancing personal growth and well being. Recognizing the limits of control liberates the
- 5:46mind, fostering adaptability and emotional resilience in the grand tapestry of life, Understanding
- 5:56the distinction between the manageable and the uncontrol rollable enables a more harmonious, positive,
- 6:03and serene journey through life. Certain things are out of my control.
- 6:18This includes the past, the future, the result, other people's opinion,
- 6:26and what others think of me. Certain things are in my control. This
- 6:32includes my words, my thoughts, my response, self awareness, and how
- 6:40I treat others. As the Serenity Prayer says, let us all strive to
- 6:46have the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change
- 6:53the things we can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Thank you
